10m 42s
The speaker recounts a near-death experience that occurred on New Year’s Eve 2012 in Austin, Texas, during a party where they were strangled and sexually assaulted. While physically dying, they remained mentally calm, observing a man with black flames and a suffering soul, and received telepathic guidance to surrender. They experienced a blissful, loving afterlife filled with colors, grace, and boundless peace, which felt eternal though lasting only seconds. Upon returning, they exhibited clear physical trauma, confirming the event’s reality. A similar victim died shortly after, and the attacker later died by suffocation, creating a tragic irony. The speaker developed profound forgiveness toward the attacker, recognizing suffering in their soul despite condemning the violence. This experience transformed their worldview, leading to deeper reflection on life, death, and human choice. They became more introspective, grateful for the challenges of life, and committed to exploring spiritual truths. The experience fundamentally shaped their character—making them more reflective, loving, and philosophically aware—and inspired a lifelong journey of understanding existence and sharing insights with others.
My character before the near death experience, I was going through a lot at the time.
I was 19, just moved out of my parents. I was a very ambitious student in high school,
but never really got to take a break from academia, and I really wanted to just kind of explore
understand the world. But because of the pressure and everything, I kind of fell into alcohol.
I drank a lot. A lot had happened before I was seeing a guy before my near death experience.
I think we call it a situation shift now. We didn't have a word for it back then.
And it was a lot of confusion. All I really wanted was love outside of my parents.
And I was craving for that. I started to have a relationship with alcohol and finding love
through that. It just helped a little bit to ease myself and to kind of be more social. And you know,
I suppose there's a balance that you can do that with alcohol, but at some point it kind of
takes control of you. And ironically, maybe the alcohol saved my life. It helped me relax to
get into that state of relaxation and surrendering. Who knows? I have no idea. But I definitely did stop
drinking a lot afterwards. So I had my near death experience in 2012 in Austin, Texas. It was
New Year's Eve of 2012. I was 19 years old. So it was my first time having New Year's Eve
celebration on my own without supervision, without parents. So my friends, my roommates, and the people
that lived in my apartment complex, we kind of got together, got some drinks, and party that night.
I do remember one girl. I didn't know her. She kind of had a premonition. And she says, I see yellow
tape all over this apartment complex, you know, me kind of believing in that, but kind of being
skeptical. I was like, what are you talking about? You know, drink the shot, just forget about it,
and we just kind of continued on with the night. And the next thing you know, I woke up dying. And
when I woke up dying, well, my body knew that if I didn't breathe, I was going to die. I needed
to breathe or else it will be all over. And when I was processing that, my mind was very calm.
It was like I was witnessing and observing the whole experience. And as I was shifting my
perspective, I saw a silhouette of a man with black flames coming off of him. And it was choking
me to death. It was strangling me. And inside of that black silhouette, I saw a dim light inside
of it. And I saw the person's soul screaming. I can see that it was going through a lot of pain
and suffering. And while this was all happening, like I said, I was very, very calm. But when I
shift my perspective from that silhouette to, for example, my feet, I can see my legs kicking
for its life. And I suppose in perspective, there was a disagreement on what my mind and spirit
was going through versus my body. My body was struggling for its life. And everything else was calm.
I wasn't scared. I just felt very much at peace, but also understanding the consequences
if I didn't do something. I couldn't do anything because this person had so much strength. And
I was also being sexually assaulted at the same time. But despite all that, I was in a lot of peace.
Then I heard this voice, well, it was more telepathic. It was kind of like the voice or the telepathy
was a frequency that went into my bones and my DNA or just into my whole being. And those frequencies
translated into words saying, stay calm. Trust me. And let's go on out of enter. And I understood
the message very clearly. It was very pure and very direct. And so I surrendered. That's when I
had my near death experience. I kind of went through like a tunnel of light. It was very quick.
And I remember I was with an entity, maybe an angel. I'm not too sure because I was having so much fun
in the afterlife. And it was just so beautiful. All the colors of the world or of the universe
just everywhere. And it was just magical. I couldn't believe it. I was so happy. There was just so much
love, hope, grace and forgiveness. And I remember at the one point in the afterlife, I was just
screaming. Love is so dope. And it felt like an eternity being there, but an art time is probably
like a second. When I came back, I didn't have a option to stay or to come back. It was kind of like
my soul just went straight back into my body like an asteroid, just the soul just went inside
the body. And I remember waking up, jolting. And I was kind of disoriented, having a difficult time
integrating back into what I had experienced. I kept thinking it was a dream. And I was kind of
glitching back and forth. No, that was a dream. That wasn't a dream. And I went into my living room.
And I saw my roommate. He came up to me and he said, oh, what happened last night? Your room was
locked. You never locked your room. And I kept telling him I had no idea what happened. And then
I just looked at him and I said, dude, I got strangled last night. He just looks at me and he's like,
wait, what? No, you did it. That's impossible. And I kept kind of going back and forth. Yeah, I did.
No, it maybe it was this like crazy dream I had. And at one point, he looked at my face and he's
asked me, well, what's wrong with your face? And so when he asked me that I had to look at myself
in the mirror. And when I saw myself in the mirror, I had Petitia all over my face, which is tiny
blood vessels popped on the face. And my eyes were bleeding. I had bruises on my neck. I had bruises
all over my legs. And that's when I clicked that I did get strangled. I did get sexually assaulted.
And I did die because what I experienced just felt more real than what we're experiencing right now.
There's not a single day. I don't think about it. It was one of the most amazing experiences of
my life of this life. And despite what had happened to me, it was just the most loving,
purest. It is just such a beautiful experience. I ended up going to the hospital after that,
trying to puzzle everything what had happened. And I later find out from the detectives that another
woman passed away on my street. It took about a year to conclude that it was by the same person.
And that person also had attacked several women in Austin, Texas six months prior to my incident.
It was kind of a lot to take in. And my best friend from middle school, she had this ability
to see ghosts and to predict death. And I was skeptical about it at times. But when my near death
experience happened, she felt it a hundred miles away from me. She was in San Antonio. And she
thought I died. So the next day she came looking for my body and then found out that I was alive.
Before and after just so much communication and what we can't see was going on, which is very
profound. And yeah, it was a very important part of my life. And very grateful for it,
despite what had happened because I find a lot of grace in my heart, a lot of forgiveness in my heart.
For some reason, this experience, I have a lot of forgiveness towards the man that did that to me.
Maybe because I saw that dim light of his soul inside of the black flames. And it was like
something possessed him to do that. Not that it's an excuse for what he did, what he did is not
good at all. So there's been kind of like a pair of dogs of that. You know, one thing is like,
of course, murdering a woman, trying to murder me is beyond unthinkable. But at the same time,
I have love and grace for his soul at the same time. He ended up passing away two weeks after
my incident. He was found dead in his apartment through suffocation. He had a bag over his head
in duct tape. So it's very ironic how he passed away. And then because of the complexity,
I think it took about three years till I became pretty successful. I wanted to go back home
the afterlife. It was really hard for me to integrate back to this dimension or to this form.
It was very complex. One thing I was very grateful to be back in experience, this the human
experience. And then at the same time, I just wanted to go back to that heavenly peaceful place.
And then I also was struggling with how I'm supposed to feel about the whole situation. You know,
I'm supposed to be angry and I'm supposed to probably be more resentful. But yet I had all this
love and forgiveness about the whole thing. I had no anger towards anything. And it took me a lot
of time to process all of that. But then I began to realize that having the human experience is
a very rare and unique experience. Each individual gets to have the autonomy to live life, to make
choices. And I will die eventually. We all will. And I will be able to go back to what I got to
experience. And after the near death experience, I wasn't as extroverted. I was a little bit more
reserving, more reflective about life and death. And I kind of went through a period of
reflecting on all of it. And then coming out of that, I find myself more loving and constantly
very philosophical about life and death. I'm always thinking about it. I'm like, well, I saw
glimpse of it. And I know for certain what I experienced, but what's more to that? And so I'm
always kind of exploring that idea of life and death. And it's just so much fun to be thinking
about it. And it makes
you more grateful for the present moment, makes you more grateful for the life that we get to
experience here on Earth, which is full of challenges, a huge range of emotions, but it is a gift
and it is a learning experience and I've come to a understanding that I'm here to learn
and what an amazing opportunity to have a glimpse of the afterlife and then come back and share
that to many people and explore the possibilities. Thank you guys so much for listening to my story.
