Zelensky Stands Firm as Ukraine Strikes Russian Targets
13m 27s
Ukraine has intensified its drone attacks on three key Russian refineries—Kastovov, Novrabiesque, and Ufa—damaging approximately 10% of Russia’s refining capacity and disrupting vital fuel supplies. These strikes, targeting deep within Russia, are framed by President Zelensky as a necessary response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure and civilian lives. Wise is highlighted as a trustworthy financial tool offering transparent, low-cost international transfers with exchange rates aligned to those seen in real-time searches. Zelensky argues that U.S. involvement in accepting Russian diesel is both impractical and legally risky, especially given future Democratic leadership and corporate liability. He also challenges U.S. diplomacy, asserting that Russia's territorial demands are irrational and that Ukraine must be present in any negotiations over its fate. Meanwhile, skepticism persists among U.S. political leaders, with figures like Marco Rubio doubting peace is achievable. Despite claims from Trump and others of imminent peace deals, no meaningful agreements or joint statements emerged at the G20, and Russia was notably excluded from group images. The broader context reveals a complex, strained international dynamic where military actions, political rhetoric, and economic realities intersect, with energy markets and public perception remaining largely unaffected by these developments.

All hell is breaking loose as Ukraine's long-range drones struck three major Russian oil refineries on three consecutive nights. This accounts for roughly 10% of Russia's refining capacity and more than 10% of its diesel output. And we're talking about refineries that were deep inside of Russia. We're talking about the Kastovov refinery, about 800 kilometers away from Ukraine. We're talking about the Novrabiesque refinery in the Samara region, about 900 kilometers away. And we're talking about the refinery in Ufa, about 1400 kilometers east of the border with Ukraine. And when we zoom in, for example, on the Kastovov refinery, and you can see right here, those three refineries burning down right now. We're talking about 15 to 17 million tons a year. It's one of Russia's largest gasoline and fuel producing refineries. You see what it looks like as the smoke is rising, folks, Kastovos facility. The fourth largest in Russia, 17 million tons of annual capacity, processing that fuel for military and civilian use. Also, it didn't stop there. Ukraine's been continuing to strike on the front. And we can see thousands and thousands of Russian soldiers. We'll put the b-roll over here, about 55,000 Russian soldiers were killed by Ukraine on the front line. And Ukraine released a video documenting how with smaller drones would strike these Russian soldiers in the kill zone right there. Remember, we reported a few days back. It was the Samara region refinery. Then there was the refinery in Ufa. Then there was the refinery in Kastovov. Major damage, 10% of Russia's refinery is now offline, essentially, or severely damaged, just in those three days alone. Now, Ukraine president Zelensky then did an interview with state regime media, which calls itself FOX, clearly to send a message to Donald Trump. Here is what Zelensky said to state regime media FOX. Let's play it. We just saw a new Ukrainian attack on a refinery in the Samara region of Russia. Didn't President Trump tell you not to target those refineries? Yes, we had different conversation, different and several, with President Trump and Vice-History, or about attacks on refineries. And we asked that we can't not respond after Russia's attack on our energy. After Russia is killing our people, attacks on our electricity, gas, refineries, and everything. We said that if you want us not to attack Russia's refineries, they have not to attack our energy system. Another alternative gave us Patriot missiles. We will find money, not just eight. Yes, just delivers and we will pay for this. Give us this package. We enter package and you can give us for one month, not for three months. For one month, if you need us, not to attack there for refineries one month, give me, I mean, give me Patriot for one month. Are you concerned that President Trump might see that as you trying to leverage him or the Americans? I don't have any concerns when I share the truth between partners. And our countries are huge partners. American society, huge supporter. And that's why I have to share with President the truth, the real situation that America can't help Russia. President can't help Putin. Separately, Zelensky did another interview and I'll just tell you what he said because it was in Ukrainian. Zelensky said recently Russia also said that it wants security guarantees, but they are the aggressor. Whose attack are they afraid of? Are they afraid of us? Little all Ukraine? I don't understand. We are the ones who need security guarantees because we are the ones who are attack. Ukraine President Zelensky then said you cannot decide Ukraine's fate without Ukraine. So if you're going to bring the foreign minister of Russia, Sergei Lavrov to the United States for a foreign minister's meeting in Atlanta into the United States, you can't negotiate with Ukraine without Ukraine being there. You can do Trump and Putin conversations about the fate and future of Ukraine without Ukraine there. Just like you can't negotiate the security umbrella for Europe without Europe there. Zelensky says it would not be fair when not produce any results. It makes no sense to negotiate the fate of a country without that country being present. There have been many discussions in meetings. Many leaders have tried to decide our fate without us. As you know, none of them produced results. And again, the backdrop of this is Zelensky striking these three refineries, the major refineries representing 10% of Russia's refining capacity. And then Zelensky said on TV, "Are we carrying out attacks against Russian diesel?" Yes, he said on live TV. But does this affect prices in the US and around the world? No, it does not, Zelensky claims. Russia's current share of global exports is 2.2%. Its impact is much closer to zero. We know that the war in the Middle East has a much greater impact on energy prices around the world. Also, the Trump regime is trying to coerce and force all of these American companies to accept the Russian diesel that's heading to the United States. These American companies don't want to touch it, especially with Democrats expected to win the House and the Senate because these companies here say, "Look, the Supreme Court may have given Donald Trump absolute immunity, but these companies in the United States, they have absolute immunity." And so the moment they touch this Russian diesel, they could be prosecuted in the future. And let's be very clear, future Democratic Presidents will likely prosecute them if they take that Russian diesel. Ukraine Presidents, Zelensky, by the way, great job with that Russian being sarcastic. Lowering the price of diesel, though the American people feel all of that relief when you brought in 300,000 barrels of Russian diesel, Donald, that's going to do the trick. Remember, when we talk about these VLCCs that are constantly being struck by Iran in and around the Strait of Hormuz, the very large crude carriers, each one of those ships have about 2 million barrels of oil on it. So you think about 2 million barrels of oil there. And what Russia is sending is 300,000 barrels. You think that's going to make even the slightest dent in the diesel prices globally right now. What the hell are we talking about? Ukraine's President Zelensky also talked about the soft and weak rhetoric of the United States. Sometimes we hear such soft rhetoric towards Russia from the United States. Russia should not help Iran, Donald Trump says. Russia and Iran are allies. What are you talking about? They should not help Iran. Do you not realize that they're close allies, that they meet with each other frequently, that they share the weapons and intelligence with each other? Zelensky says, Zelensky then says, we will certainly not give up our territories, but of course Russia wants them. They are conveying this to us, particularly through American mediators. They are demanding that we voluntarily withdraw from territories. They have been unable to capture themselves. This is not a sensible idea. It is irrational. Why would we give Russia territory that they were not able to get in the war, which they will then use to take the strategic initiative, and then just roll in throughout the rest of Ukraine? When we talk about the areas in the Donbass that Russia wants right now, some of these areas in East and Southeast, Ukraine, that Russia says, well, we want this 13-14% remaining that we want to conquer and that they have not been able to take in the front. Those areas are of strategic importance to Russia because the moment they get that, then they could pass through some of the defensive lines that Ukraine has set up, which has blocked Putin from doing what he really wants to do. Now, I'll share this with you as well because you have, you know, on the one hand, Zelensky, you and what you see right over there, and then you have Donald Trump surrounding Mar-a-Lago with these Avenger military air defense systems, which are all around Mar-a-Lago as Donald Trump is paranoid that drones are going to strike Mar-a-Lago and that he's going to be assassinated here. Let's play this clip.
We'll also share this with you. You have this balloon-born Ukrainian attack drones impacting near Moscow's Shiramitevo International Airport yesterday morning, shutting it down for multiple hours and you had, I'll show you the scenes right now as well, of what it looked like inside this major airport in Moscow, but let's just play this clip right here of the strike kind of near the airport, enough to shut down the airport for some time, play this clip. Then you had Donald Trump recently with right-wing propagandist Benny Johnson saying he thinks we're very close to reaching a deal between Russia and Ukraine. Well, you promised you would do it in 21st of your lying. So good of you promised you would do it in 24 hours after the 2024 election. Watch what Trump says, players clip. You mentioned to Iran, there's a lot of rumors about the G20 at Trump-Deral in December that you might be bringing Russia and Ukraine together. Maybe some type of larger peace steel peace agreement. Can you give us some data? Well, I think we're getting very close to making a deal there and I haven't been saying that. I wasn't saying that initially. The hatred was tremendous between the two leaders as you know. But I think there's a real good chance we're going to have that one worked out also. We're working out a lot of deals. And then you had Marco Rubio saying I actually don't think peace is achievable. This is what Marco Rubio said at the G20, which was hosted in Atlanta, where the Trump regime invited Sergei Lavrov, Sergei Lavrov then called for Poland, not to be a member of the G20 when Lavrov was given the opportunity to speak. There was no group photo at the G20 because the G20 countries didn't want to take the photo with Russia, who was invited there. And there was no joint statement issued as well, no statement about Iran, no statement about the war in Ukraine. Anyway, this is what Rubio said, play this clip. Let's make you believe that negotiated peace is achievable. Thanks so much. I don't know if negotiated peace is achievable in Ukraine. That's what we're trying to find out. But I don't think anyone here is claiming that we're on the verge of a negotiated settlement. I think what I can say to you is that the United States, you know, we have people that basically, you know, Jared and Steve as an example work on this portfolio almost full time between that and Iran. That's all they focus on. Isn't Rubio such a buffoon? He's so dang weak. He's so dang weak. Anyway, there you have it. Let me know what you think hit subscribe.
