The podcast episode features Zayn and Heath engaging in casual, wide-ranging conversations. They start by marveling at hummingbirds and their helicopter-like flight, then transition to discussing hobbies like golf and fishing, which they find less appealing without alcohol. Zayn shares his experience at a stretching therapy facility called House of the Sun, where he was hung and manipulated in a way that resembled a torture chamber, noting it was intense but potentially beneficial with regular practice. Heath updates the audience on his baby Tony, who achieved milestones like teething, saying "dad," and taking his first step. The hosts also cover a viral story about a Florida man who threw dog feces at a neighbor, leading to a fight and legal charges. They touch on NASA's Mars footage, skepticism about a GeoGuessr expert's skills, and the death of Michelle Trachtenberg, with speculation about her personal life. Zayn then details his safari trip to South Africa and Botswana, describing close encounters with lions, rhinos, wild dogs, hippos, and a leopard, all while feeling vulnerable without cages. He expresses fear about the numerous helicopter rides taken during the trip, especially after learning about a recent helicopter crash in Kenya that killed seven people. The episode concludes with promotions for their Patreon and social media channels.
I saw Hummingbird this morning. Oh, that's amazing. Yeah, it was in my front yard. Usually I don't see Hummingbirds at all. Our Hummingbirds are one that fly, but they stay in place. They're like other birds that look borderline in sex. Like the way they're, like where they'll fly, they'll go like this. Yeah, okay, they're like a little helicopter. Yes, crazy, just marvel of an bird, of an animal. Where's the one that only one second fly backwards? That makes sense. That makes sense, yeah, because they kind of just hover like a drone. It's just like, yeah, if I was, if I was a bird, I think I could fly backwards for sure. Like that would, that would be my specialty. Like I wouldn't be able to like do anything else, but like, it's like, are you fast? No, not really, but yeah, I could do this. And I'd always be the one injured. Like we're like, oh, look, there's a bird that's injured. He's not flying away. That's me. It's got a broken wing. Oh, he has a broken back. They flat their wings, Hummingbirds, 10 to 80 times per second. Take a break. And they're what they're, they're flowing it down, watching these birds. Like it's not that important. Yeah, you know what I mean? Sound of a Hummingbird, though, kind of like freaks me out. If you're not expecting one near you, you're like, what the fuck does that? Does this kind of sound like a, it sounds like a giant insect? Yes, it sounds like a giant insect, but that not like, but we're like, oh, you know, I've never heard a Hummingbird then up close because I did not know that. I kind of want to get a feeder, but then I don't want to be just like, what the fuck is that? That's swanning a Hummingbird. I mean, I want, I mean, I want to do one of those videos where you're standing there with the whole fucking birdhouse on your head. Oh, yeah, put a blanket over you with glasses. And then come up, stay calm. Who used to do that? Spencer Pratt. Spencer Pratt. Spencer Pratt used to do that. And I'd watch them all. Yeah, he was so interesting. He was pretty big in the Hummingbird community. Yeah, you got to kind of get it started. Like you got to have like a feeder out there so they know it's a safe place. And then you go out there with, you know, the crazy little get up of god. Look at the hat. Go hummingbird going right into your eye. This man had a whole set up. He truly did. Like, what do you just like your partner? Right? Like, I do bring up that this is something that you want to start doing. Like if it if you didn't do this before you met your partner. Right, right. Just one day like birds. Yeah, you just see them sitting in the backyard with that hat on and the glasses. Like what girls would find that cute. We do. It's just being patient. Yeah, you're patients. They're I'd be so like me fishing. Give me the fucking like no patience. Anything that requires patience. Fuck that like golf. Are you saying you didn't enjoy going fishing with me when I would? I did enjoy because we're drinking. That makes it a little bit better. Yeah, if I'm fishing and I'm not drinking, what am I doing? Yeah, what the hell are we doing? I'm expecting all respect. No, honestly, I feel that because once I quit drinking, suddenly I didn't like golf anymore. Oh, good point. Yeah, golf. It just didn't hit the same. I was just like this. It's kind of sucks. Only fun part about it is driving the golf court. But like what's fun about a golf car? If you can't like flip that shit over, you know what I mean? Yeah, golf. I like a couple times a year. But like people who are playing golf every weekend. Like that would get boring to me. It's such a time sucked, dude. Four hours on the course. You got to drive there. Get got to get there early before your tea time. Then usually afterwards you're like, all right, let's go to the clubhouse, have a snack because we've been in the sun for four hours. Yeah. But it's all day affair and then you're just beat. And then no beer. You have to drink mocktails, so it's your percent alcohol. Just high sugar. Yeah, drink liquid IV and shit. And then you're beat. Then you want to come home and like take a nap. Like it's just to wrap on the day. That's it. Yeah, oh my god. I got to tell you what I did on yesterday. I went to this place called House of the Sun. I don't know what it's called, but it's like a stretch type of therapy place where they like hang you. It's almost like you would see this in like, like a torture place. I, yes. So this on TikTok, I almost sent it to you because I'm like, I can totally see you doing this. I saw this, I saw it like two months ago. And in media, I was like, I really, I really want to do this. But like there's no way they have one here. They had the exact one right in Woodland Hills Heath. Like it was right next to your house. It's like this guy owns this guy owns like two properties. He lives where he works, right? And but like his property is so massive because he has like two different because he has like two pools in this entire like entire thing compound. And the way he sets it up is so like he has like, saunas, he has like copper therapy. He has like all like it literally looks like a mixture of a Coachella house and midsummer. Yeah, everywhere. Just like every type of vibe of what you're looking for to like escape and get tranquil. He's like, exactly. So what you did did not look tranquil though. This looks like a sex swing. Yeah, it's like something. Yeah, so if you want it, what if you want to play the video, my video, I just posted it. Oh, this is exactly what I envisioned. When I saw this online, oh, oh, Zane. So obviously in the moment, it did not feel great. And you know, because I'm a guy, he was just like, you know, he's putting like, you know, little extra strength on me. And oh, my God, you have to be super flexible when you do this or it will not be fun at all. He was putting all his weight on my chest. I couldn't do this. No way. How long is the session an hour? This looks like what I would imagine going into McCamey Manor. Yes, yes. And dude, is he playing music? Oh, I know he's playing a flute. I see, but is it guys outside? We were, we were the imagine you woke up and it was dark outside. And you were hung from this thing like that. What a fucking nightmare. Oh, yeah, completely. I can't imagine like torture chambers back then. Like how they would just like do this to people. I saw comments on the other video that was like, which is during the Salem trials. I could totally see how this was just like the way they would really just push your limits. Yeah, destroy people and mentally just. Oh, I would be talking if I had like government secrets and somebody was doing this to me. You would get it all out of me. I'd be giving nuclear codes in 10 seconds. Imagine being blindfolded doing this. No, no problem. No problem. No, do you feel after having done this? Do you feel good? Do you feel better? Did you find it therapeutic or were you kind of like hamming it up and I think this is something where you got to do for a few months. And then you're like, oh, wow, I like I'm starting to feel it. It's just kind of like medication too. You don't feel it the next day. Yeah, I wasn't hurt like right like this morning. Like I didn't feel I was in I wasn't sore or in pain. So I feel like, oh, if I'm not hurt or in pain, that means it like I must it must have worked for me. But I also I'm I keep up with my stretching my myo and all that. So I feel like this affected you. It's like if I did this, I'd be feeling this. The next day completely not only called me because she did it right after me. She was just like, hey, is your body like her? And so I was like, I'm really, really sore. And I was like, it's because I was like, when's the last time you like did a deep stretch? She's like, oh, not a long time. I was like, is that's why? Like you have to like constantly stretch your body out. So you're not sore as fuck after something like this. Just my shoulders on that inverted with your stomach down and your shoulders are just all the way. You would think because you're being held by like all those straps that like, it's easy. But you're still having to hold yourself in a way. You have to hold the handles because those wristbands, they still like, you're still like falling. Your weight is still falling through it. So it's like making your wrist super sore. And I have really weak wrists. So it was still pretty. Oh, but when I was hung upside, not that. But when I was hung upside down, just hung that felt good. I literally felt like I grew an inch taller. Well, it's like I love an inversion table. Yeah, I think that really helps space. But I do love an inversion table. Like, oh, yeah, my grandpa had one. I'll be doing that all the time at his house. But the whole vibe, I like, bring my mom back here when she comes into town. You do an only fan. Why does he kind of look like your brother? He, I know. Yeah, you do guys look like you were really excited. That's exactly what I said. I was like, oh my god, he kind of looks like me. Weird. Only fans could do this naked. Oh, my god, that would be hard to watch. I know, but it would get some clicks. No one is doing that on only fans, you know what I mean? You would stand out to be like, I gotta see this. You know what, like, you don't want to see a naked body, but you might want to see it in this. Yeah, this is like, you create a whole new level of cake. Because it's like, there's a lot of, you know, dark, you know, like BDSM stuff with like swings. Oh, yeah, but this is like, I'm scared to work out. Oh dude, he had the sauna and in the sauna, like in the wood, he had all these herbs and, um, I don't know what you call the plants that like you go like oils. Yes, what a great idea. I've never seen a sauna that where they instilled that shit in their sauna and you walk and you're like, whoa, yeah. If it was on, if like, it was hot in there, I feel like that would have cleared you out. But he has like, hey, beds again, like copper. Is this going to be certifiers? He's just like doing this shit in his backyard for. I genuinely think that like wherever he's from because he's definitely not from here. Like he has a heavy accent. Oh, he's Russian again. If he's a borderline chiopractic, if that's a good word, we are like the way you're moving the body so aggressively, it seems like you would have to have a certification. And like again, I feel like Russians are really all about their like spot. Because you know, there's a big Russian spot in terms of wellness. - Yeah, that's a huge deal, that's a huge deal. - Russian like us.
You can tell that a lot of celebrities go here for sure, you know what I mean? Like because it is a little, it is a little pricey and it's low key and it's like low key. It's in Woodland Hills, which is by Calabassus. Yeah. How much was the session? Because we were filming it, we did a private session. So it was like 250. I couldn't imagine a non-private session and other people were just watching this happen to you. It's a big, it's a big compound. So like while someone's doing that, you're doing something else. And again, it's like two properties. So you're like, and either way he has it, it's like all windy and shit. Like everybody has their own little area. Imagine the neighbor's next door just hearing, oh yeah, just like because it is, it's in a, it's in a neighborhood. Like we're on our way. I thought this was like in a commercial area, but this is again in his property. Wow. So like you're, you're like parking at a house. This is a house of sun. I don't know. If you guys like that sort of shit, I recommend it. I'm sure they have this type of stuff in multiple places. But when I saw this on my feed, I was like, there's no way this is here because it looked like it was in a different concept. Yeah. I think so, yeah. But when I saw it, I was like, I go, I bet that's not an LA. Yeah. It seems like something that would be at like some crazy resort in like Bali or somewhere like real and far out there. Exactly. What's the actual term for that treatment? Did they have a name? I'm not sure. Well, one thing that like, I'm surprised he doesn't have and like I recommend him that he do Prevello. Prevello, on the machine and no waivers. Very surprised. Yeah. He's confident. He's confident in his work. I bet you may have signed. No, no, no. Okay. But then again, like, I, once you meet him and you're there, you wouldn't have the heart to like, because you also like, when you see the thing, I feel like your body knows if it can do that or not. You're just like, oh, okay. Does he ease you into it or it's just 100% like the first thing we did was he raised me up. Mhmm. And then immediately that first spin was the first thing he did with me like, was it like a normal massage where he starts it and he's like, how's that pressure? Okay. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, he was like pressure, dude, it was a lot. And like, when you do deep, sometimes like when I had sciatica, when you go to someone good, that shit fucking hurts. Yeah. So like, I'm not surprised that it hurt. It's just sometimes you got to go through pain to start your healing. Damn right. And on that note, start that intro, baby, let's do it. Three, two, one, it's called baby, let's go. Welcome back to Zayn and Heath unfiltered babies. I'm Zayn. I'm Heath. I'm Matt. And we are here again to give you another episode, a great episode. Thank you for being here. We love you. I did all the talking. Go, Heath. Don't over to you. You started like you were about to like, you had something like really good right there. I had the nose up for yourself. I was like, Oh, I always feel like with you, Heath, we're always like a house, Tony, house daddy update, you know, I think it just changed week by week. But like, anything new, any updates on the dad home front? Yes. A lot of updates actually, Tony got two teeth and while I was in LA just the past two days, he started saying dad, dad, and he also took his first step. Damn, you missed. You were out here for three days, first word and first step. Oh man. That's great. Oh, dad's out of town. I went in back. Yeah. Actually pulling out all of his tricks. He knows how to get you back quick to two teeth, like two little nubs at like the bottom. I feel like that's where they start right there. Yeah. Just a little action, you know, my gosh, anything or is he like in pain throughout this like process? As they come in? Yeah. So the first week, like on the first tooth, he got, it was like a week of him just like really fussy like 24/7, just really just not happy. Yeah. You could just tell he was like in discomfort. And every time we tried to check to see like if he was like, we have like his little teeth, there's and stuff like that. Like we assumed something was going on, but every time we tried to like open his mouth to look, he would just be like this and wouldn't let us see. And I kept trying to like lift his tongue and like just look and he just was not having it. Is there like natural remedies? You can like burn on his teeth. That would help. Would you say bourbon? I have heard. I have heard bourbon. Apparently that's what everybody's been like, oh, you've been rubbing bourbon on his gums. I'm like. No. I didn't know that was a thing. I know my dad used to give me black cloves. You know, close it. You'd like put in your. Then we're all cooking. The cigarettes. No, like, you can put them, you know what I'm talking about, you can put black cloves in the ice. You put it on your, you put it on like a toothache. You just kind of rub it in there and it kind of, um, numbs it. Interesting. But that's just like a, a natural way. Well, Szechuan peppercorn oil. Something like that. Yeah, but just kind of numbs it. Or you know, Mariah would just, all of it, all of it, all of it, all of it in garlic. So then we ended up just like putting like a finger in his mouth and we felt his gum. And you feel like feel it coming through. So then he had his first one and then like, he stayed cranky. We're like, I guess, I guess it's just the pain of, you know, pushing through the gums. And then like a week after that, I put my finger in his mouth and I felt the second one. I was like, oh my gosh. Oh, whoa. But he's doing good. He, you know, he's still going to gymnastics, doing his thing. But first step. So meaning he's not walking, but he was standing and then took one step. That fell. Yeah. Like his little like standing balance for like 10 seconds and then took the first step forward and then and then top. But yeah, he's doing really good. Where I was doing good and, um, yeah, I mean, I just feel so boring now. Oh, stop. Yeah. Don't do that. What do you mean boring? You yourself, like, as long as you find yourself boring or you're bored with being like, it used to be like, what's going on here, it would just be like some crazy store. And now it's just like, my kid took a step. Yeah. But hey, it's, like, it's just a different, different phase of life. Well, the thing is that you can't do like, you can't like do too much with him yet. You know, he's a baby, you know, you don't want to overstimulate him. You have to get him. Like, you know, he needs to at least walk first before you start taking him to all these places. You want him to at least remember stuff, you know. All right. Brief pause for this episode. Sponsor C geek. I think you can agree with me that one of the worst feelings is scrolling through the Graeme on Monday and realizing everybody apparently went to some incredible concert or game over the weekend, had a blast and had no idea it was even happening. And honestly, I'm tired of finding out about fun stuff after it's already over. So now I check Seeky for concerts, games, and events that are coming up near me and actually get ahead of it. Like I would never take my kid that young to Disney World, he's not going to fucking remember that. I know. Exactly. You've got to make sure Disneyland, like I would treat my kids to that when they're like conscious of it. Yeah. Like I know they are going to Disneyland. They know they're like they they remember they know they're having fun. They can remember it even in a week later, like, oh, that they how fun that was. You know, especially since it's so fucking expensive now, I want my kids to remember that. Yeah. I feel like four or five years old. Yeah. Like minimum. Can I he can I can I come on that first group? Yeah. Do you guys remember like you popped in a VHS and there was always like the commercials for Disney, like land or Disney world and it would be like right before and like an older sibling explaining it to the younger sibling about going and stuff. Yeah. They would have it on videotapes when you watch a Disney Channel movie or not just. Yeah. I didn't know. Yeah. It didn't have it. It would have an advertisement for it. Always. And you get so fucking pumped. One day you're going to go. Yeah. I love a good little viral video where like a parent surprised their kids that they're going to Disney world. Yeah. Are we going? Yeah. We're already packed. We're going right now. We're getting on a flight tonight. What? Except for me. Except for one video that I saw where they were surprising two little kids. One kid. Just she was so excited. The other kid like wanted to go to like a grandparents house or something. And I don't think he understood how big was where he was just like, but we're still going to the Hamptons. Right? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't think it was something. It was something like a specific place. Yeah. And I don't think this kid understood how fucking awesome Disney world was because he probably didn't know. But he was so angry and screaming and buzzing. I'm like, Oh, wow. This is you've never. I've never seen a reaction like this for not for wanting to go to Disney World. Yeah. That's the thing. This was surprises. You really got to like make sure what they think they're signing up for it. Yeah. Isn't that exciting? Also, I would make sure that they see visually a bunch of Disney world videos before surprising them because just so they're like, exactly a bunch of Disney channel Disney world movies. Have them see the castle in the beginning of the movie. Yeah. All that. And it's kind of nice. They're younger. Were they're not like so obsessed with like the rides where they're like, no, we need to get on this. No, we need to go on that. They're just thrilled to be at Disney World. Yeah. Yeah. They're more pumped about meeting the characters walking around. Right. Right.
controversial topics about like Disney or the Disney adults, the one that's been harassing Peter Pan. Like everyone's been getting like a huge uproar. You know, there's these Disney adults that go and they go and meet the characters and the characters are like, you know, hired actors playing Peter Pan playing Cinderella playing Bell. And there's this one Disney adult who has been just hyper fixated on the Peter Pan at Disney land or world. I'm not sure these are really good Peter Pan, but like you can tell that this Peter Pan is almost like uncomfortable that he's borderline getting stalked by this woman. And people are just like coming forward, like you're just pounding on like you have to give these people boundaries and also you're an adult. Like you're an adult. You know that the person in these costumes aren't like are just normal fucking humans. No, he's not Peter Pan, right? Yeah. We got a chill out. This is like it's almost like it's stocking behavior. It's talking behavior. But it's not only stalking behavior, but there's something a little deeper than that where it's like, I don't know, check their hard drive. It gets to the point where it's just like, okay, we now need to, you have an audit. My favorite though was when when Gaston stood on business or the yes, somebody was like taking, taking pictures of Gaston with like a little Gaston. Gaston from a beauty in the beast. He's like the guy in the red. That's a big guy. That girl, she is so pretty. Yeah, with a cloths, right? Okay, okay. And there was like a little girl taking a picture with him and somebody, some random older man stranger was like taking pictures of this kid and he was like, this is not your, you do not take this is not your kid. Yeah. Why are you taking pictures right now? And like he like kind of like broke character and like got out of it for a second and was just like, we're not doing that. Oh good on him. I was like, okay, okay. Super wise. Does he surprise? I'm like, they breaking your breaking character. Nope. The Disney actor. So they, it's incredible. How quick and how sharp they are like in character. Like they don't break the process has to be so interesting where it's like so bell. Where do you live? Tell me about your uncle, tell me about your dad. If I said this to you, what would your response be? And they have to have like, like improv. And they have to specialize in improv too. Like for anything that comes their way, they need to be able to answer that in their character, which I think really talented. Like you have to be actually an amazing actor too. It's either like you're in the biggest movie or you have to work at Disney World. That's your like your two top options as like a big actor. I was like, what was his name? Like taggy the elf or he would like go around during Christmas time and he is the naughty and the good list. Yeah. And he'd be like, what's your name? Brenda, naughty. Yeah. Noddy Brenda. Get it together. Have they ever done anything at Disney world where they have all like the cast? I guess I can't think of any Disney movies where you know how Marvel characters are all played by big actors. Yeah. They don't have that in the Disney world, right? Where like they're all played by big actors animated. And then now we've had live action films like it was in the play bell. Like having all the top actors in their alpha in their like a Disney. Oh, they never had that. I mean, that's like Johnny Depp occasionally will go into being Jack Sparrow. I know he goes like, because that's a distance. It's a time movie. It always makes like a really crazy appearance at Disney world or Disneyland. That'd be a really fun video. They would never allow to imagine all of us like a video for a video. We have to play characters at Disney world. And we have to like take it seriously for one whole day. They would never let us but that would be funny. I know. But that would be really great. Speaking of Disney world, I want to apologize or Disneyland. It's not Tanya's by you. It's Tiana's by you. And I just want to apologize. I've never seen Tiana like the frog princess. Did you when did you say that when that kid fell off the log ride? Oh, I was like Tanya's by you adventure. Oh my god. It's like Matt. It's Tiana. Oh, well, thank God. You corrected yourself. My I think this whole podcast would have been canceled. I just I was in shame on me. We're saying that in shame on me for also thinking all of South Africa speaks off for cons. Only like 10% of the country. So I don't know everything. Tiana's by you adventure. God. Okay. Because that came out when I don't know we were like in fucking high school. Sorry for custom. Yeah, especially when we're talking about Disney. You got to lay down. Sorry for we have kids watching this segment. You should also apologize to Hannah Montana. Apparently the song you were singing in the unwind. You didn't get a single word right. That one song was is fired into the fire. You make it. You were like, it's my favorite Hannah Montana song. And somebody goes, he didn't get a single word, right? And it just it made me well. That's why I didn't recognize it. No, I don't know. There's a bunch. It sounds like a demilovato song. Who said probably the same songwriters they had is the biggest actor they came out of Disney. That's like just. Oh, yeah. Number one. The most successful Zendaya, right? Would you say out of Disney? Ariana Grande. I think it's right. Zendaya. Zendaya. Zendaya. I say Zendaya. Yes. I would say right now acting success. I could win an Oscar like to your list. Zendaya. Zendaya. And then Ariana would be the biggest musician. Ariana was Nickelodeon, I thought. Oh, it was on Nickelodeon show. No, you're right. I fuck it. I morphed the two. Yes. I would say that. Oh, then we got Ryan Gosling, which I just I saw. Remember the Titans last night. I totally forgot Ryan Gosling is in that. Oh, he small role pre no book. But he was in the Mickey Mouse Club as a child. Yeah. But he's like probably like 16 and remember the Titan. I saw some clip where it was like a bunch of kids. And then he came out like a news just like Ryan. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I was like Christina Aguilar, Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, Kelly Russell. That's crazy. That's crazy. I still need to see Lala Lala world. Lala land. Yeah. You've been unbelievable. Oh, my God. Some girl posted. She's like happy. Happy 10 years to the greatest movie all the time. Like it was like a heartfelt like story about this movie. I was just like and then maybe want to watch. I was like, OK, I think it's time to watch it. And I know it's one of your favorite really interesting about the Lala land cover. So Ryan Gosling is obviously like a fully trained dancer. Like he's unbelievable. For some reason, when they were shooting this, he decided to like do this little like thing with his hand because he like thought it would look good. And he absolutely hated it. And that's what they used for the cover. And on technicality, like that is so wrong. Like his hand should have been pointed. But he put like a little like flair to it. He it drove him mad for like 10 years. And they just did this whole thing where they changed the cover and corrected his hand brilliant. But I think the picture we're looking at is the new one. Be got the original one. Yeah. His hand is just a little like feminine. That would kill me. Yeah. That would have killed me too. That's so crazy. How to like in like in my head. I would think that actors have a lot to say and what gets put out of them. Right. So the fact that like for years, he's hated that. And that was never changed. It's so crazy to me that like they just have no like they probably say something. And then like sometimes they don't even change it. They're just like no, we like it. Whether you like it or not because it was the 10th anniversary, you know, just to get people excited about it. And people have known that he's hated his hand in the cover. They just did it for the hype. Like I don't think they would have done it. They'd be like, it's already out. We're not going to change it. But that's what I'm saying. But just like change it. You know what I mean? They put a lot of money into it because if it's already up everywhere, couldn't they just like reupload it or not reupload it. But like it's already on the billboard. Yeah. Fine. Whatever. But like for the next campaign, just change it. Yeah. And then push it back out. Like it's feel like it wouldn't cost any more money except to just edit the hand back up. Do you remember when the ready player one came out the poster? The kid's leg is like extremely long. Like look up ready player one poster. Original leg is so long. There's nowhere that's in the, that's like the poster for the book when they had to do like the movie edition of the book. But go to the left. Like this first picture. That one was like the big movie poster. There's no way that it got approved. Yeah, it did. It did. Just no one thought about it. They had to have done it all purpose for people to talk about it. You think there's no Matt. That would that's the first thing I noticed on that picture. Well, I also bought that for you for that as well. Like I don't know if you know what I should have. I should have. You should have. I'd like to show to you that. And go, do you notice anything weird? Anything weird? Yeah. I don't know. I think I want to notice it immediately. That's crazy. It's just extremely long. Was that a good movie? Yes. I watch a long time ago. There's also a second book to read your two. Yeah. It's been out for a while. It's going to be ready player two. I believe so. That's the name of the second book is ready player two. I own it, but I've never like have read it. But yeah, it came out in 20. What a sick name for a title where you just keep going ready, ready player for. Do you know what the premise of the movie is? Oh, yeah. It's like virtual reality. Like in real life, then they go into virtual. Everyone like. It's like. It's like a mock electric. It's like it just soapy in the America. It's like everyone's like everyone's reliance on having a job is within this. He hasn't been in anything since then, right? A couple of soft tight tight share it in. Tie share it. That's crazy. Imagine being in like one of the biggest movies and then like when he was a kid when he was in mud with Matthew McConaughey, unbelievable. Wait, is that the guy that's an animal kingdom? No, I don't know. No, no, no, no, no, no. All right, brief pause for this sponsor, Kalshi. Thank you, call sheet for sponsoring this podcast. We love you. Xana, I got some Florida news for you. Fuck you. You know I love that shit. I got you. Love a good Florida story. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Jared, can you pull up the P.P. cocky story I sent you? So basically, this Florida man was having an issue with a neighbor because the dog kept shitting in his yard. I would have a problem with that too. Which is understandable. You know, you know, nobody wants just dog shit all over the yard, stepping in it. You got kids playing whatever. But it escalated and apparently this guy picked up the dog shit, went into the neighbor's house, opened the front door and chalked the dog shit at the neighbor, hit him with it, and then it turned into this all out brawl and the guy that threw the dog shit, apparently like picked up a like a metal scooter and was about to like beat him with a scooter. It like went back and forth, so he did that first and the neighbor did something back. They just got into a fight and then apparently a scooter came in to play. Okay. Now the guy's getting charged with like aggravated battery assault with a deadly weapon. And I don't know if they're considering the scooter is the deadly weapon or the shit. I think for me, to get to a point where I grab dog shit and I chuck it inside someone's house, I think it's not only been happening for so long, but I like, I don't know if they're caught the neighbor, not only that purposely going on my yard and putting it there. I think that's probably how it escalated because there's like, that is such a crazy reaction. How many times do you step in your neighbor's dog shit till you get to this breaking point? My breaking point though, I wouldn't have gone into the house and thrown the poop at him. I would have thrown the shit like on his car. I would start taking the poop and start putting it on his car. I would put it right in front of the front door. That's the fuck you move that I think I would have gone first to be like, do not fuck with me. And if it kept happening after we've done the car thing, then I'd start putting it on his front porch. So when he walks out, he steps on it. Yeah, that's good. There's all these layers to where I think opening up the door and just pelting with dog shit, hilarious, but like my temper, I'm petty where I don't even use the dog shit. I just create my own and do it right right in front of his front yard. Make sure the ring camera just like, and then just walk away because what's the difference between your dog doing it on my property and me doing it on your property? I would even take to a paper in white, white, and then rub the white on the handle of his door knob and then look right at the ring camera and you're like, fuck you, that's a problem. That would also go viral to and everybody would take the side of the guy during you. If you would be like, what a legend. I'd put it in the keyhole, I'd put it in the keyhole like, you have to lock it in your house. That you don't see it first like Matt said with like the car, like you put it on the inside of the door handle. You know, so you don't see it, but when you go to reach and grab it, you're just like, what the gas tank? Yes. Open up the gas tank. Put a little turn in there. What is that smell? Yeah. Right there in the gas tank. But you also don't want to like cause any harm to the car while he's dry. You know, you don't want anything to grab the poop in the gas tank, and I'm like, oh no, like just wrote me open to it. He's like, oh god. Have a little fun. Yeah. Have a little fun. You're like at just a buddy's house. You guys are having a beer watching the game and just like, boom, boom, you wait for the rules on day. Say hi. Yeah. Boom, boom. Boom for the two. Boom for the two. That's good. Very good. I just thought that was something. Oh my gosh. Well, he specifically, did you see the footage of the footage of Mars? No, everyone keeps talking about it. It has not come up on my feed. I could not wait to show this cause I wanted to get heat thoughts on it. NASA just released the clears the clears videos from the surface of Mars. And I have a hard time believing it. I do. That's Mars. It looks just like Earth, but that's Mars. We just, we finally have a good camera. I know. I thought it would be more red. The geoguester guy goes, this is Utah, this is like Probo Utah, but that was exactly what it is. It's Mars. You know what? The thing is he would do that though. It's like, I'm sure he tried to do it already to see if he could even figure it out. Some of that geoguester guy though, I have some doubts. Do you think there's something? Solve some fucking crimes then, huh? Like, he is not, I believe, I think if you play the game that much, yeah, you figure out these clues and stuff. But sometimes he does like a black and white inverted thing and I'm like, where it flashes for a sh-- White and white inverted thing. He'll even do it. Black and white flashes for a second and he could even be flipped or upside down and he guesses it sometimes. And I'm like, I don't know. I could see him maybe staging the quick look. Maybe he has the real picture on the side where it like stays still on the side. Some I do, but no, I do believe that he has it mastered down to where, oh, if you're in Thailand, there's always like two yellow stripes on every pole or mile marker. He knows like the gravel and the foliage and everything. Yeah. So that's that down and that's what makes it easy. This, but this, oh, he's looking at black and white inverted things. Oh, there's no way. Exactly. Yeah. Piss off. Wait, what the hell is that? Unless it's because it looks like it's like distorted. This stuff I go, I'm not buying that before it's because the game is giving you the same places. Oh, wait. No, no. I think not. It's truly random. Yes, he's seeing certain textures and stuff along bridge lines. And he knows where it's at. I can kind of believe that. No, no, no. I thought that looked like that was from an aerial view of like the court, the side of a country or so. But if you think about it, the earth is just one big painting. Like, and he's able to like, he's looking also at this like bird's eye view. Yeah. He's not like on the ground Google Street view like. Oh, that's what that was. That's what I was thinking. So it bridges to it. Okay. Then I kind of believe it. Yeah. I thought this was street views, but all fucking distorted. I was like, that's literally impossible. No, I think it is because that's, that's a tree. That's a, that's a pole right there. This is, this is a road, I think. Okay. Well, then. Yeah. That would have been a good question. It asks is like, if you're so good at this, why don't you help? Maybe he has. It may be. Honestly, he probably does it. He probably does it privately. Also, if he's doing that, he's probably under some end. He can't be like talking about what he's doing to help. Right. I'd be bragging about that. No. Pete. Don't wouldn't you not want to say that? Like, say that publicly though. Yeah. What does the CIA pick them up? And he can't talk about it. Like, I feel like he's a, like, he's a target. If like, he's helping solve like really intricate crimes where everyone's like, oh, he's, you know, I don't know. Could be. I would, I would want to keep that a secret. I let's put him on the Clancy case. The Clancy Clancy Clancy. That's her name, Nancy Clancy. That's like Lindsey Clancy. Oh, Lindsey Clancy. They say Nancy. Oh, because Nancy Grace is now on it. Yeah. She is pissed. She's also pissed about hate and pinnative, pinnative, pinnative heritage. Which is so sad. I know. I know. I hate it. I'm seeing all the, I'm seeing all the, the, the edits of the ice princess edits. I know with Michelle Tratchenberg. Yeah. So sad. Oh, my gosh. It's just, I mean, we watch remember the Titans last night and it's just, she was incredible in that as a child actor. Yeah. I was watching Nancy Grace talking about it and she was discussing how like the scene where it was her and her boyfriend and like a friend or something and it like, she was just saying how like, it made no sense. Like in like, no situation. Also, it was like Narcan, like in the house, but it wasn't administered in some way. Yeah. Which is like pretty damn fucking strange. And she was, she was with her boyfriend and her boyfriend's brother, right? Um, something. Yeah. I know. It was, it was two other guys and I think one of them was her boyfriend. It's those, and she's been like in a terrible on and off like relationship with him. Like this guy does not have a good reputation. It's almost like similar to when, uh, Brittany Murphy, like, it's like a boyfriend kind of like just pushed a celebrity to like, and look at Amy Winehouse as well. Like it makes me so angry where it's like, I remember a long time ago when that story came out of, uh, I'm fighting on the street. I don't hate it. I remember knowing they came up, but I don't think I ever really watched it until like yesterday the day before and it was crazy. I know. And when she was one interview was like a year or two years ago and they should have never released it because she was not doing very good. Like you could tell she was like on like a lot of like, which would be on Xanax hate and they were interviewing her and she's like slurring her words and it's like not present and they still put it out. Was that an interview? Like, uh, it was like a sit down interview. Not a pot. No, no, I meant like a, like a, like it was very alarming, but then like, you know, it seemed like she was getting better. it put out the book.
book what like four months ago where she was just on Jay Shetty's podcast, but Jay Shetty wanted to post about his merch the day she like died, which I thought was so strange. Did he really? Yes. Like you just had her on your pod and maybe he post about it much later, but it was like the whole day. It was like there's no way he posted it unless Jay Shetty's not even running his social media and his team is and they weren't even putting that because I followed him in like an automated thing came where it was like something. So I have a feeling he doesn't run his range. I don't know. Did you see the James Blunt music video? The James Blunt. Oh. Yes. Yes. Yes. New James Bond. Yeah. So apparently there's like a allegedly whatever theory that James Blunt is the one that James Blunt is the guy that hate and painted here. It was talking about in that one interview about like the guy that on the boat on the boat. Oh. But again, it's an I don't think anything's confirmed. I think this was just speculation because I don't think it ever came out of her mouth, but apparently he just put out a music video six days ago and it's strange. Oh, gosh. He is like a little hostage in the back of the boat. Yeah. But then again, like obviously he shot this before she passed. But yes, it's strange that is he leaning into the bit or in terms of his character? Like is this how James Blunt normally looks like now? I've always thought he was just very like kind of like a sweaty looking hippie kind of guy. He's the only picture him in the snow music video. Oh, yeah. What's that? What's your beautiful? Oh, wait. That's not. Does he say you're beautiful? Yeah. Oh, okay. So that's my life is brilliant. Is that the only song you had? That was like his big head and then I think he was a second one or was there not really a second really? No. Goodbye. My lover is a different song. Goodbye. I love her. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. He just looks like a like a marine biologist right there. Yeah. I kind of got that like it could be the location. What? Maybe I'm just thinking like Nat Geo. Who's the artist that came out with a music video where the whole thing was backwards? Coldplay. Coldplay. For is it the scientist or yellow or one of those? Yeah. He likes saying the whole thing backwards. Yeah. Which was like pretty ahead of its time. Very weird. Especially when everybody's talking about him because the thing is I don't think he even got brought up until after the music video went out, right? Is that he's probably not getting brought up until after? Yeah. People were talking about her death. Right? It was out before she passed. Yeah. So maybe that's why it's like weird. Thank you BetterHelp for sponsoring this podcast. We love you. Oh my goodness. We didn't talk about it last time. How was Africa? It was genuinely, I want to say top two trips because I don't want to, just in case there's a better one, I just can't think of one. But it was what a life-changing trip. Yeah. It was absolutely insane. I think we did safarying in the coolest way that you could do it pretty much. And to start off, I want to thank Paul Ribbet at Beyond Members Club for making it happen. They fucking crushed it with itinerary that amount that they jam packed in in the four days, five days that we were there was almost, was like enough where it could have been spread out to like three weeks. Wow. It was like non-stop, nobody was getting sleep, but so worth it. Like just the amount of shit that we got to do, the amount of animals we got to encounter, the amount of animals that we got to like pet. Is it hot? No, no. I packed super warm because I, like I just figured that it was going to be fucking hot as shit out there. You know, again, we're like out in the wild, the desert in my head, super hot. It was actually perfect fucking temp throughout the day. And then at night, it would get a little chilly, but it was like the perfect weather for me. Oh, great. Immediately in their campsite. So these campsites that we went to, or the first campsite that we went to, it's a sanctuary where they rescued abused animals or animals that were hurt. Animals that were poached or on their way, being poached, just, and rehabilitate that. It was, yeah, it was like a pretty much a rehabilitation center where they're just like taking care of them. So these animals are very used to being around humans, but still there is a huge risk. Still, they're wild animals, right? Yeah. So the first night that we got in, I'm carrying this pretty much baby tiger. Whoa. But why inner tiger? Probably a lion. I guess a lion, a lion doesn't have like, like, can you look up a baby lion? Like was it striped like a tiger? No, no, no, no. Okay. Yeah, it was a baby lion. Sorry. Sorry. It looks like it has a face of a tiger, but it's, yeah, it's a lion. Caring this baby lion, but it's fucking massive, right? It's big. And I'm carrying it. And this is like our first night. And I, I thought I was about to get my face ripped open. I was like, oh, my God, I'm in for an insane week. I feel like there's going to be a lot of this throughout the whole trip. Yeah, we got a little taste of what we did like a line, like feel like the firted. If you like a dog or did it feel like, yeah, it felt like a cat, like, it felt like a giant cat, a little rougher on the fur because cats usually have like, really, really soft fur and a little rougher. I think like a cat, they would, like, they would start gnawing at you, but like, obviously, were they playful or did they, yeah, they were playful, but the thing is that their playful hurts for us, you know what I mean? Like they, like they completely ripped, like Natalie Sleeve off her jacket, like just plain, like, just a friendly bite, but completely ripped her sleeve off. Like the way a dog would like tug at a toy, it's going to like go for it. Yeah, that's their like playful nature, yeah, nature. Yeah. So yeah, it was, it was pretty terrifying. We, again, it's in the middle of the fucking wild, right? This, this, this kind of facility. Yeah. So you're hearing right in the distance, probably like no more than like 300 feet away. Just like a lion's fucking, like just all out there, heinous, all types of shit. So it's fucking scary. So like, obviously we slept there that night. So like, they have like these big fucking gates in front of the front doors where like you make sure nothing is getting in that and that and getting in when you're sleeping. Did you guys like lose power? Like water or something? Like, well, I'm so, where were you staying? So they have a specific outlet. So obviously we all brought like universal outlets, but this universal outlet did not have the outlet that we needed. So all of our shit, we, it was just fucking dead. Like we just had no source of like, you know, we didn't have our phones, nothing. So that, that sucked. So we're all like, we're all like working off of like this half charge fucking portable, just each giving ourselves like a couple, a couple, a couple, a couple, a couple of percentage of fucking battery, just like all the, all times. And then the next day we went to this like rhino sanctuary where, again, rescued from being poached, they sometimes, like we couldn't take pictures of anything showing the mountains because it's like a hidden, they don't want to get identified where they're at. Yes, because they're so much poaching, especially for rhinos they used the horns of the rhinos for certain like ivory and ivory. And I think I forget what she said it was, but it was like literally, it was, it's like supplements that we all take, which is, which sucks, which is so, yeah, we got to go on like this kind of like somewhat sort of like haunted hay ride type truck, we're all like in the back and just like going through and just like watching rhinos and shit and there were up so close. Is any cage or is it like an open top like nothing was, nothing was cage throughout this entire trip? It was like, it truly was like an experience that we had a moment though where we, so they've had moments where like rhinos would attack like boom on the trucks, shit would flip whatever. So obviously we had to just like while we're next to it, we got to like make sure to be quiet whatever, but there was a certain moment where it was like a mother and a, and a baby. And the mother kept on inching closer and closer with the baby a little behind and we were just like, because obviously it was like scared or felt right and whatever. But the thing is that they're used to this truck because like again, we had a little moment where we're all standing there and all of a sudden the rhino just goes, like that and hits the truck a little bit and everyone's like, and then they're like, all right, everybody like calm down. You got to be quiet. We got it. And so we just have to take measures to like, all right, we got to get out of their space in this sanctuary, what a sight, just all these rhinos just all scattered in this sanctuary. And some of them were injured. They were still being taken here. We got to walk through their facility where they were like had ivies and dumb, they're like critical condition. That was super.
They also had like other animals, they had like goats there, they had like little lambs, they had. Gisels. They had warthogs. They had the returnals. They had just like just random shit. Yeah. Within the sanctuary. Yeah. And the lady was telling us all about it. She started tearing up. You can tell her like she absolutely loves these animals. It was just nice seeing how, how much rhinos are like their world, you know, they like do everything. They can't like protect these animals. And then from there, we went to this other site where again, they rehabilitate these like lions, lions, cheetahs, baby cheetahs, all sorts of animals. Yeah. We got to do this little excursion where we got to walk with the lions literally out of their like out in the open in the wild. And we all were given these sticks that were wrapped around our ankles. That was our only, that was our only form of. Like defense and so yeah, just like this thick stick and there and it's pretty much that lions know that like the stick is kind of like a, a respecting like stay behind the stick. Respect the stick. Respect the stick. Just like that walking right behind these lions the entire time. I think we were a group. I almost like that big right there. Did they poop? Or I mean, like are you like they didn't poop in the moment like horses just poop while they're walking are like, no, our lions ever like hold on like I gotta go to my litter box over here in like, I'm not sure they weren't pooping when we were with them. But we, we did go to this like open area with like a little pond, a tree like it literally looked like a set. It was insane. And where they would let them just run around again, we were right there. They're running around. We had one of the, one of the guys that works at the facility throwing like this meat and we just saw them in their, in their habitat. Like a lion's drink in the water, one like in the shade just getting a little rest. You're at any, like you're sitting there at any moment, you're just like, I know that would be the back of my mind. Was everyone saying pretty calm as a group or was anyone like actually freaking out? I think out of everybody, I think I was the, I was the most anxious one. Most anxious one. Yeah. Like Natalie fucking love this. She was just like, hell, hell, yeah, but she like does really daring stuff. Like we're in Brazil. She did that fucking, you know that hang glider shit where you're just like holding on and you start from the top mountain and she's like, I've certified, I feel like she tested her adrenaline so much and doing that, anything else seems small, so crazy. And it's funny because her mom is the same way to her mom is like a adrenaline junkie, too. So I think that's where she gets her from. But yeah, it was, it was a fucking experience. How was the food? How was like South African cuisine? Were there big beers or like, yeah, the lion was like, we had this like specific steak that I've never had before. It just tastes a different, it was all right. It was fine. Again, we're in the middle of the wild so that you can't expect it to be like insane food. Right. I know. But it was still like, it was still pretty good for being out there. You know, they had like, you know, obviously the group that we went with, they hired like these chefs to like come out and they like catered for, they just did an amazing job. They cooked it right there over like this like man made like grill. Yeah. It's really sick. We got to see crocodiles. Oh my god. You should have seen the group I was with. They're all freaking out. They're crazy. Freaking about about the crocodile and I obviously out of everybody, I was, I'm so used to seeing them. So I was just like gators, gators, gators, crocodiles, oh yeah. Crocodile. Oh, are you see crocodiles? Crocodiles are in the United States. In Florida. Oh, what's that? Crocodile. No, I don't think crocs are in America. Crocs are saltwater. Oh, there are. Yeah. Oh, down to the Everglades. Yeah. I thought it was like crocodiles were extremely rare in my head. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like when we, when I've done those like fucking swamp tours with groups that we take when it was during work, there was crocodiles out there. Oh, okay. Um, I think there's more alligators. You can counter more alligators. Yes. Correct. And then alligators are the ones that are not aggressive. Like they won't fuck with you if you don't fuck with them. Crocodiles are like more. Crocodiles. That's why it's like crocodile done D or like Steve Irwin was all about crocodiles. Like it's, it's more of a bigger beast. Yeah. For reference, there's 2000 crocodiles in Florida compared to 1.3 million alligators. Wow. Alligators are the ones that you would see in the backyards of some homes. People start screaming. They're all golf courses and shit. Yeah, but they're like super like they won't like come and attack you unless they feel like super threatened. Yeah. Like those videos that people take normally, they're trying to like poke it in shit. So that's why they look look like angry or look like they want to. So we saw we actually saw one crocodile like in the pond that we went to this like den in the middle nowhere again, where we're eating like awesome food. And that's where we got to see the like crocodile like in the it was called the hippo den. The hippo pond, but no hippos are just one crocodile and this thing. So I was like, you got to call it the crock, the crock den. Yeah. Yeah. Um, we got to see those hippos heath, hippos in their in their natural environment. That's crazy. Uh, got to drive by one full like hippo, uh, like a group of hippos. And this lady, this lady that we had that was taking us around. This was like this third day. She was so fucking funny and she just, she just got it. She just like understood humor and she beluga no, no, her name was Aaron. And she was going like off grid like there was always a trail that but she was constantly going off grid for us to see like different animals and shit. We got to see giraffes like super close. That was awesome. We, uh, we were across the lake from these hippos. And I remember she went all the way up right to the water, right on our little car, a little safari car. And we're sitting there and like all I could think about is that fucking video of hippos like in the water coming up and not to get over because they're scary. They do, they will kill you're at it, they're so terrifying and I'm strong too and fast. So we're in, we're by the lake and the lake is not that far, the other side is not that far. It's like pretty close. And all of a sudden we, they're all just looking at us, right? And we're all just like, oh my God. Okay. So they know we're here. They see us all of a sudden. You just see one run into the water, go underwater and we're just like, all right, I think it's time to go. It's like, I think we're good and we could see the, like you're not sure where this hippo is like the wake, but you just see the waves coming in because he just went in so quick and we're just like, we don't know where he is. Go, go, go. And she's like back and up. We're like in the water. The way I was like turning in the fucking scene, the mud, we're not going to like fucking go because dude, that hippo can take our car easy, easy. And we were all fucking figuring like, go, Terry, go, go. And she, she gets out of there. But I don't think the hippo was trying to get to our side or anything. It just looked like it. We do how fast the hippo went in the water. And then you see him like looking at you in the water and then it shows us. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Another wild insane moment that I think is just where it's just bringing up was we did, we did it so far. It was from like, from the day all the way tonight, like we started at 2 p.m. and went all the way to like 9 p.m. We're in that car, but again, no, no cage on the side just open. This was, I would say truly us like a wild safari day that we had this one day and night. What the chore guy was really excited about were these wild dogs, right? These wild dogs there, they're, they're very, they're very endangered. They only have, there's like, I think 2% what is it? What did he say? 2% of the population. There's not, there's not a lot of wild dogs left, right? So to see wild dogs, even like a little pack is like pretty rare, especially just out there. Their plan was to try to find some, a wild dog, right? So we're driving, driving and all of a sudden the front safari truck radius in, we just found some wild dogs a lot and he starts freaking out. And he's like, oh my God, guys, I think we're about to see the biggest pack we've ever seen. Wow. In our life. So we get there and I'll show some clips to their look like there was about 200 of these wild. There were two. That's what it looked like. I'm not sure exactly how many, but I remember him going, guys, this is insane because about I think 5 to 10% of what's left in the world right now are right here, which is like an insane amount to be able to see, like with your own eyes, especially of how indagent they are. So there were like a giant pack, a fucking pack and they had like a bunch of babies too. They're all just like chill in there and we decided to start following them. And the way they operate, they were telling us that they operate that like once you start following them and they don't see that you're a threat, whatever, as long as you're not on foot, right? They start seeing you as like part of the pack. So what they would do is as we're following them, they would, they would, if they see like some, like a threatening animal, whatever, all the adult dogs, they'll start going and they'll leave us with the babies because they now trust us. So they're like, you're going to watch the little pups as we go and see if there's any threat out there. And so they would do that here and there. And then they come across some wildebeests. They all start running and we're like, the tour guy's like, oh, shit, we got, we got a hunt. We got one. Let's go. And for fucking following them, we're going quick right behind them and a bunch of wildebeests are in the middle. Again, I have this all films also like little clips of this, but they're all like in a pack and they're all like back, like Tori.
towards each other or they're all backed up between each other, but all like in a circle where they're all facing outward, right? Okay. And these dogs are just like surrounding them and they're not attacking, but they're just like, yeah. And then like the world, the beast would like fucking run around. It was just a bunch of like huffing and like, just up like one up in each other. It's like there's a. Okay. Um, they were pretty much doing all that just like a certain dominant waiting for something to happen. And I remember, I think nothing happened and we kind of separated from them. And the guy was like, guys, this is like crazy that we just experience blah, blah, blah. And I was like, this is fucking, this is fucking insane. You felt like you're watching a National Geographic show. Like this is wild right there. And all I can think about was like, Heath, your fucking pictures would have been in this guy. The tour guide. He had this camera that the lens went to the back of the stream. They were the biggest fucking lens I've ever seen. He's sitting there just like, bro, he would just stop every five seconds like, holy shit. And he would take his fucking camera. He'd run out and just like, jeez, jeez, jeez, jeez, jeez. It was just like really seeing damn, that's so cool. Before we continue, this episode is brought to you by Shopify. Zayn and I have used Shopify for all of our business endeavors. And if we could do it, so can you. When we launched our first merch store, I remember getting that first order notification and thinking, wait, oh my gosh, it actually worked. Everything beats that rush of seeing that first sale go through. And I kind of expected the checkout process to be the part where everything fell south. But Shopify had already handled it. Customers could check out smoothly. And when they came back, their details were saved. So buying again was so easy, peasy, one tap and done. And I'm not going to lie, that gave me a ton of confidence because instead of obsessing over whether the store worked, I could finally focus on getting more people there and actually growing the business. And it also helps to know and makes me feel super confident knowing that we're using the same platform that retail giants like Mattel and Jim Shark are also using. And again, the fact that Zayn and I could use it just speaks volumes to how simple and user-friendly Shopify really is. And remember, with Shopify, nothing stands between your idea and a real business. So go make one. Find your free trial at shopify.com/unfiltered again, start your free trial at shopify.com/unfiltered. Once more, that's shopify.com/unfiltered. Thank you, Shopify, for sponsoring this podcast. We love you. And my head, what I was fearing most was that I was going to see some sort of like fast, like cheetah sort animal because in my head, I'm like, we have no cages on here ever. The tour guides, they all have like these guns obviously, but I don't think they're in like arms reach. Like they don't want to have to use it unless it's absolutely necessary. It's not like I don't even think they had it ready to go. It's like it was in his package, in the trunk, whatever. And that also worried me. I understand because they like again, these guys fucking love these animals. They don't want to hurt them. They really respect that this is their, this is their space. This is their area, you know, I was just like kind of worried about that. And when it started getting darker and darker and darker, I was like, Oh my God. Now you really can't see shit. Like I kept on wondering, I kept on imagining being stranded out here. You can't see a fucking thing out there with my night vision. Oh my God. Yeah. That's all you have. That's all you have out there. As we were just driving around, just trying to find stuff, you know, that's, that's the whole experience. You know, they're just trying to find stuff for us until we have to go back. Maybe we get radioed in and I didn't know that there was a girl that was on our trip. That was on the radio. I thought it was the driver, right? So when we heard this, we sort of freaking the fuck out. We were stopped, right? Natalie and Georgia were out in a bush, like like 50 feet away because we would have to, you can't just pee anywhere. You have to like, yes, and make sure that it's like a safe area for you to go out and like go behind a bush and piss, right? But then again, still a risk. The girls are pissing. And all of a sudden while they're pissing in the middle of their piss, the fucking gets radioed in by the guy in front of everybody. There's a cheat out here. By the way, we're all not that far from each other, right? There's a cheating here. Get here now. Get here now. And they're screaming, but all I heard, or sorry, leopard, leopard, not cheetah. All we heard was screaming and leopard. We didn't know if people were being attacked. We didn't know if people were being, so we were freaking the fuck out. And we're like, Georgia, Natalie, we're running the court now. And they're like, what? They're like middle pissing. They're fucking like putting their fucking shorts up and running their barely button. They're like, running to the court. Like, get in, get in. And the tort guy is fucking running too, because he couldn't hear it either because he was out there halfway with the girls, but he hears us screaming. And he's just like, get in, and he's kind of like, fucking radio is like, why, why repeat repeat? And the girl against screams. And he's like, oh, shit. We got to kill. There's a leopard. We're driving and we drive maybe a fucking like 200 feet, whatever. And we get in and we see. So the front car, they caught a whole cheetah like grab like killer carcass run across and then go up into a tree, right? They got to see all that, the one in the front. So we, they're all like now stationed right in these fucking bushes. They have to like go into these giant bushes at which I don't know how these cars can even fucking do this. It's like, yeah. We're able to just drive through. They're for that. Anything. So we're driving through and there's fucking branches and shit all coming into the car, right? Just like all like coming through our season, everything. And there's also a roof like the roof is open, everything. And we're watching this leopard and like, it's three cars like this all watching this tree. This tree is very close. It's probably like double this, this size of like the wall, the corner of the wall. Yeah. We're all watching. This leopard is just eating, eating. It's looking at us, fucking staring right at us. And then we would, they would have these like red lights, but sometimes because there were people that were like filming, they would have like the white light. And the dog guy was just like, don't put that on. The leopard for too long because you don't want to aggravate him. Yeah, completely. And I'm just like every time that light was on, I'm just like, guys, just fucking do it. Just for a few seconds, the fucking get your shot, put it down like because, because again, it was like, we were so vulnerable, we were so vulnerable and I can't, and I'm trying to just like respect the leopard. The leopard is, this is their fucking space, they own this, he's fucking eating this carcass. It's just like blood on his throat. And it's getting to the point where this carcass is becoming thinner and thinner. It looks like it's about to drop and it looks like he's about to finish eating. And I'm sitting there, I'm like, we're not going to wait till he's done eating, right? He's not going to want dessert, right? There's just like, there's just no point of like, because we've been here watching this thing for about 20 minutes. We've all gone enough footage. It's been fun. We really got to experiences. I think this was like the final boss of the night, like, holy shit, this is so cool. We got to see a kill by something so vicious. And the carcass just starts like, it starts like falling, falling, falling. And then the tour guides are like, okay, it's, it's time to go. Like we should, we should get out of here. It just looks like we, we've got enough. And the first car goes, gets out. And it's, we're not supposed to be making a lot of noise either, right? But these cars are just making so much fucking noise getting out of this thing. And he's right there. And then our car was last to an order to get out. We had to take this car right under the leopard. Right under it. And we had an entire thing open. And I'm sitting there, I'm like, hey, dude, like we're going right under this fucking this summer, could just jump into this car. Do we have to take this route? And it didn't look like we needed to. I just think that he wanted to give us a little bit of an excitement, you know what I mean? Yeah. And we're going, we're going and people are just starting to just like make noise because like people are like whimpering, they're like, oh my god, oh my god. But then again, the tour guide is just like, okay, everyone needs to shut us like quiet, quiet right now. Like, and we're under it. And I can't even look up. I'm sitting there with my fucking hoodie like this. We all had this like dark like big giant hoodies. I have this hoodie and it's super thick to I'm just like this and I'm like, I'm going to be invisible. Yeah. I will not be one of these people fucking filming. Fuck that. If there's about six people in this car, I will not be the one that this shit's attacked. I don't need that footage. Not worth it for me. I'm sitting there and I'm ducked on the word that my feed are and I'm like, this I'm like, I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. No, go and I hear you can hear the tour guys kind of like just like really kind of hypervent, he's just like, quiet, quiet. And then we've all and then we finally get out of there. From there, it was like an hour and a half drive home back to the end. What a finish. And it was so fucking cold that night. Like it got like once it got like super dark, it went from bro. It felt like it went like 25 degrees colder, 30 degrees. It just got so fucking cold where we had to like bundle the fuck up in this car. Yeah. That was it. That was cool. It was such a cool like I don't think I ever need to so far again, it's such a high white. You couldn't even top that. Exactly. Like I think that like if I was ever going to do like a so far thing like this again, it would definitely be with like my family. Yeah. Significant other. Maybe if my kids are a little older, I don't think I would ever bring like my to what the extreme that you went unless I just don't think I wouldn't like that. I would wait till like they're like older or if like he wanted to go, I'd be like, you know what? Yeah, I'll go. So you can get that experience. Are you Matt? You know, just me? Yeah, because you know, you got to get that picture with a giraffe, you know, because you're a giraffe. That's right. Take it easy. Okay. So the only thing that I did not fuck with on this trip and I.
didn't know. I saw that it's set it here and there. I just wasn't aware how crucial it was to take these helicopter rides to these campsites because again, these campsites are in the middle of fucking nowhere. But in my head was like, we land, we maybe helicopter the campsite and then that's it. And then we're good. And then maybe helicopter back or drive whatever. Guys, we this entire trip, we took about fucking eight to 10 helicopter rides. And they were all ranging between 30 to 45 minutes per ride. I was so fucking scared. Like do all I could think I was like, it was either take a helicopter ride or drive like six and a half hours to go to these sites. They're drives are so especially because the terrain also dangerous. Like you don't know what's in the middle of like getting there, like it's just safer. And obviously like people do drive out there. But again, we were a big group. We had to, we had to squeeze all this shit in a certain in a short amount of time. So you just like you couldn't back out of these rides. It's not like me and Georgia because me and Georgia were fucking terrified. It's not like me and her could have been like, oh, we'll just drive and meet you there because you're missing everything. You're either losing all your sleep or you're just like not going to be able to join the excursions. So we had to do it. And it was genuinely so terrifying. I think I did enough for one lifetime. I don't think I ever need to do it again because every time I've ever done it before, it was like more for pleasure. Like it wasn't like we were trying to get somewhere. It was more like for either for a shot or whatever. Don't need to do it again. What was super fucking eerie right when we got back. It was like two days later because like initially I actually said this on the podcast. We're supposed to get a Kenya. But Kenya, it got moved over to South Africa and Botswana. That's where we went. We started in South Africa and then we flew to Botswana for the rest of the trip. The park in Botswana. Literally. We just saw the news break. I think it was yesterday. So far in helicopter killed seven people in Kenya, including five Americans. It's where it's crazy. It's crazy because obviously I didn't post anything out there. And the last thing that everybody heard was that we were going to Kenya. So I did get the end of this. But I think I may have posted a public story before this broke. So people like we're like new that we were fine. But I remember seeing this and I just fucking chills down my fucking body. Oh my god. This is just like because honestly, I've always been afraid of helicopters. I think just a hearing of recent helicopter, tragic deaths that's like come about, you know, with all of three. And this is just like I just like think about it all the time and it's just like it's such a create. What a crazy machine. What a crazy machine that helicopters are. That's a wild method of transportation. Fucking terrifying. And it doesn't get any better when you're in it. It's just it just sucks. Like I saw this. I was like, God damn it. Like I'm telling you right now if I saw this before, I wouldn't have gone. Not to make this about us. But like it's it. I just feel like we've been hearing more helicopter related stuff recently. And it's like just so eerie. And I know there's hundreds, hundreds of helicopters are flown every day. It's just so unfortunate. Well, I'm glad you made it back safely. Yeah. Okay. Guys, we had an early start today. Matt has an exciting trip. Actually, I don't know why I don't know. Just like a family trip. No, just friends. We had a whole conversation about this on basically where we're like, what is the percentage of the reason why you're traveling? And it was mostly weddings, family trips. Yeah. Oh, wedding family trips and deals. Sure. Yeah. That's like the main three main things that you're traveling for. Thank you so much for tuning into another episode.
