Transkriptio on osa IHART-podcastia, jossa käsitellään monenlaisia aiheita.
Ohjelmassa avataan puhelinlinja, jossa kuuntelijat voivat kertoa pienistä saavutuksistaan. Soittajat kertovat muun muassa viinasta pidättäytymisestä, leivonnasta ja moottoripyöräkortin suorittamisesta. Lopuksi Carmen osallistuu visailuun ja vastaa oikein kaikkiin kysymyksiin, voittaen liput Ice Age -tapahtumaan.

Yesterday you would have heard us playing some audio from a guy called Frank, he's a radio host in South Africa who was very, very drunk on the radio. Previously on "God Frank". Sean, totally, totally, please. What's wrong with you? Get off man, don't make us really yourself. Thanks, bye. It's so good. All the callers are like, "What are you doing, Frank? Get off man!" At one point he farted a listener. You guys, you guys, you guys, you. What are you there? I'm just having a great time here. Come on man. You're totally, totally, totally, boss. I'm very excited for episode two. Episode two, it's awesome. It's the first bit of audio you're gonna hear. Is Frank taking about 10 minutes to go to a caller. Fridins, over there. Of course, nothing happening. Wow, John. He's trying to jump in Renberry. Hi John. Calls are going crazy. John? Hi Frank. John is there. Frank? Hi John from Renberry. Hi not John from a dromada. Frank? John, are you from John from Renberry? Oh man, I'm struggling to hear you. I don't know, can you hear me? I can hear you. You hear me. Is this John from Renberry? Yes. John from a dromada or John from the lizard kingdom. Hi, but man, we got re-entry back. Okay, so, signing it as today. Today he's entirely in coherent. I think he's still drinking throughout the show. So John drops off the line and the host Frank keeps talking about lizards. Bruce, the, the, uh, whoa. The lizards are in charge. And the lions have gone crazy. Can you believe it? That's a crazy, well, I, uh, what do you say? Other than that, you can take the next call, which is from, Prins from Coetown. Prins, so you hear me? You can hear the Frank on your phone. Wow. Prins, we had a moment with the lions, went berserk. And there's like a lot of some, how are you? I'm very, very well think. I have a pridence. We're in a captain, I've gone in from. I'm from Devinville. Devinville, lovely part of the world. Pridence, what do you want to say? Prins. I incontinence the world. Pridence, I must say goodbye or I must put other people on the line. Okay. Cheers, Pridence. Thank you. That's the best he's been so far. But it's, it's, as soon as a caller calls him out, you'll be like, "You need to stop." He's like, "I need to take a bite." So this next bit, in this section, he's basically, I think he falls asleep. I think that's what happens. So he's trying to get to the news. And then there's a big gap of silence. And then when the other, the news guy starts reading, Frank's just firing puns off like, "Frightened Zena." It's like, it's, what is he doing? It's like a monkey in a spaceship. But there's one thing we'll not stop, which is the news. There's a couple of, at the moment, I'd love to talk about the religion. We've been discussing, I'd love to talk about the rugby. And the text on things like the conspiracy theories. I'd love to talk about the. New Testament. I'd love to talk about the things about nothing. Nothing tells the world the news. Which is coming at the moment. And that's going to be with. And crew, 15 calls. Which is. And crew, which is right now. With the news of three good morning, two people are behind bars tonight in connection with you. And crew, 15 calls, radio, 702. I witness this is "Talk Radio, 702." Your number one news and talk station. Someone make it stop. Where are the people running this station? Say what you will about Frank. I reckon that was, you could not tune out of that radio station. Like, I would've been glued to that. It turns out game-busic. This is the most wild thing that has ever been broadcasted on the FM band. I'm convinced. Oh, you're going to love Frank. Liam, I'd like to give myself a little pat on the back. But before I do that, I'll explain to you why. I like to think of myself as being pretty handy around the house. Yeah, you are good with your hands. I like to do DIY. But I don't think that that confidence extends to white goods. Like, I love getting the power tools out. But when it comes to something like a fridge or a washing machine. Something with a motor, right? That's sort of different. I get that. That's not just like, you know, giving something a lick of paint or something to do with timber. It sort of, you know, it makes sense. But the dryer broke down a couple of days ago. Now normally that wouldn't be a big deal. But when you got two kids, the washing is piling up and it's the middle of winter. Nothing's drying on the clothesline outside. The dryer does certainly come in handy. And so my wife Sam told me that the dryer was broken. And obviously we needed a new one. And so I was looking on Marketplace. And if you're going to buy anything decent or if you're going to buy a new one,
can get is about $450. Really? I thought they were cheap. I thought they were like $150. I don't know why. I just was totally off the price. My price changed. Time changed. And so you're looking at about $450 to replace the dryer. And I was like, that's a lot of money for this thing that we don't use that much. But we kind of need it right now. And I thought before I hit purchase, I actually went into appliances online. That's kind of my go-to. I was like, I'll get a new one. I'll drop it off. $450. Take away the old one. That's before it was in my cart. And just before I hit purchase, I thought, hang on, why am I buying a new one? Why don't I just look at the old one first and just see if I can figure it out? And so I started taking all the screws out of it. They got a lot of screws in them. Started taking all the screws out. Took the back off, took the side off, took the top off. And it was just this big drum with some wires. I would never dream of doing something like this. Then I realized that there was a belt on there. And that seemed a bit loose. And so I tugged on it and then it came away. That's not right. And I realized that the belt had fully snapped at the bottom. And then it came out of the dryer. Right. So I had a broken belt. You've got to the bottom of it straight away. And on the belt, you'll see there's just some pretty generic numbers and letters. Put that into Amazon. Up comes the belt. How much? Next day delivery. $17. Wow. That's pretty good. That is that's impressive. Put the belt on, put the side back on, put the back on, dry works like a charm. Yeah. Thanks mate. That's a bit hard. That's a bit harder. Sorry. That's enough. Just thought you really deserved it. If it was good to get a little part in the back every now and then. Yeah, I thought, how's this? So we got this really nice set of drawers. You know, the wavy one in my house. Yeah. Sort of like wavy, really nice. And the doors weren't on quite right. So I thought I'd taken upon myself to have a bit of a fiddle with the doors. Got the screwdriver out. You know, sort of, if you go on the top one, it's sort of, if you go right, it sort of brings out a little bit and left. And you should just get it to lines up so the drawer opens nicely. And I, I was at it for about 15 to 20 minutes. And I couldn't do it. So we got a man out. Yeah. But then the man came out and he also couldn't do it. Right. So therefore. Pretty good. Pretty good that I tried. And then he said, "Well, if you could do it, it was a faulty door." I thought you were going to say the you had a second crack at it and you got it off the he couldn't do it. No, no, no, it was just a hard door. In fact, he had a younger guy who had a crack. Then he opened the door, he put it on two tight and then it snapped. What is this? The Excalibur of door hints. Dude. Yeah. And so they ripped a big chunk off like it's our nice, it's our first bit of furniture. It's a bit of furniture we bought that's like not eye care. Leave him and your story is getting a pat in the back. Warme for trying my hardest. I'm not kidding. I'm not giving you a pat in the back. No. You didn't do it. You didn't do anything. I thought I tried. I tried my hardest and even a professional man couldn't do it. If you think you deserve a little pat on the back this morning. Yeah, maybe this is your moment to glow on the radio show. We've opened up the phone once. 131065 is our number. You give us a buzz. You tell us about what you've done that just deserves a little pat on the back. Maybe it was some DIY. Maybe you just had a great day at work. Maybe you've sold a big package to someone. Yeah, maybe you were, you know, there was a bit of cake going around in the office and you're trying to be good at the moment and you didn't have a slice. That's a great reason for a pat on the back. Because good on you. You know, you did the best. Alright, 131065 is our number. We promise it's going to feel good. Alright, we're going to give you a little pat on the back. You give us a buzz. Tell us what you've done to deserve it. Normally on radio, you know, people will say, "Cool. I said anyone at 65. When did you fall over and you're a big loser?" And we'll do that tomorrow. But today, we're saying, "Cool up. Glow. Respectfully. We'll give you a little pat on the back if you deserve it." Just like Ben, he deserves one because he managed to fix his own dryer, which is, that is very impressive. Yeah, you know, people sometimes with DIY, they'll fix it door handle, for example. Take it off. You know, white good. Yeah, but a white good. Now we're playing it another way. Normally someone's doing that out of the manufacturer like a factory or something. Yeah, you're just doing that yourself. So that felt good this morning. Glenn, get me a little pat on the back for that. Katie joins us in all Dinger Beach. This was last night. What did you do? That deserves a little pat on the back. Not open a bottle of wine. Oh, come here, Katie. Come here. Thank you. You're good. We made a pact so that we weren't going to have wine during the week. Yeah. And my partner bought a bottle of home last night and I left it sitting there. Yeah, that's good. And then did they have a little drink, though? No. OK, they did. No. All right. Well, hey, you passed this onto your partner, ready? Thank you. Good on you, Katie. Thank you very much. Let's go to Trudy. Now Trudy, what have you done that deserves? Just a little pat on the back. The eye is cooked for culture. Oh, oh, yeah. It's a culture, yeah, yeah. The phone line dropped out a little bit there, Trudy. But I'm assuming you just said you baked a for culture. Yes. And it was successful. It all turned out OK. Absolutely amazing. Well, Trudy, where do you want to upper or lower back? I'm for the back. I think it has to be upper back. I don't think we could do lower back. Oh, yeah. So I don't want to hate you out of getting a name out. Yeah. All right. There you go, Trudy. Thank you. No worries at all. Shala in Selig's beach was celebrating the little winds that were all doing this week. What did you do on the weekend that deserves a little pat on the back? So Saturday morning, earlier, I stayed up till 3 o'clock in the morning setting up for my son for first day. Because we're getting hospital the night before because he's fractured his arm into places. Oh, no. Wow. And so you said, well, you stayed up with him. You stayed up with him. Yeah. So I stayed up till 1 o'clock in hospital with him. And then we got home and then Saturday was his first day. Yeah. So I stayed up decorating the house. So that's it. Because I was going to say that I was like, not, I don't want to like not pat you on the back. So every parent should be, you know how to make my sights, just comes with a job. But I suppose tonight, 10 or I, you know, yet, you know what, you're getting it. You're getting it. All right. You got to eat. Thank you. There you go. No worries, Charlotte. We're getting so many calls. People to be pat on the back. People like it. People want to be better at the back. I mean, I wouldn't know what it feels like because I didn't get one. Liam did not get one. Got a little bit more time if you want to call Carol in Manoparo joins us because we're given little Plats on the back out this morning. Carol, what have you done that deserves one? I've just got my main back license. Oh, that's hard to get. Tell me. Thanks. What kind of bike you got, tell the moment I've got a CCC, see you been on moving up to a CBR 125. Oh, yeah. Okay. That sounds like a cool bike. Thanks, guys. Good on you, Kale. Thank you very much for joining us. I'm Liam. You did say it's hard to get. As someone who's got the motorbike license, it's very easy. Yeah. Okay. Well, do you call Kale and tell him that we're taking the back then? No, you're telling yourself. I'm just saying. If anyone listening has aspirations to go out and get their motorbike license, I remember when I sat the course, you're obviously there right because you want to ride a motorbike, but they let you do it on a scooter. That's because I remember him saying, if you want to do it on the scooter, it's easier. Because there's no gears. It's pretty good. That is things out. They're going to do it to anyone. Yeah. So if you have aspirations to get your motorbike license, it's not that hard. Okay. Well, Carol, let's hope Ben doesn't purge you this morning. You're looking for a pat on the back. Well, I'm not looking for one for me, guys. And hi. It's my lovely husband. I came home in the dark last night, pouring with rain. And I hear this voice from the garden. The septic tank pumps gone. My husband's knee deep in Surge and he's trying with a headlight to try and pull the pump out. Fix it. Oh, sorry. I know. I know. I know. And then he attached, got the pump out, attached it to the power and a blue, there's all the fuses. So we had to get a new pump. But hey, it's pretty amazing what he did because it was just. Yeah. What's his name? Carry. K-A-R-I. Carry. Carry. Carry. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good on you, Carol. Also, I don't want to poo poo yours pun intended. Oh, God. No, I just. No. He's the ruler of all paths on the back. No. Don't give me one. Saying everyone sucks. This is supposed to be a nice positive thing. We call people call up. You can pat on the back. Well, technically, you should have just got someone else to pick up. I'm more wanted to make a funny observation that you weren't at home, Carol. He was there. Carry was the only one home and then magically the septic pump breaks. I can just get a big. No, that is quite funny. You know? You know? You'll be in the toilet. That's actually pretty funny, right? And the bright time you've been. Thanks, mate. That was pretty funny. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. [BLANK_AUDIO]

I don't know if you've seen this, but is this American reporter and she's live on air and this Japanese fan who barely speaks English comes up to her. Excuse me. Okay. I cannot speak English, but I'm excited. I think that she thought that maybe he was going to troll her and do something Yes. Naughty. But then when she saw her purie was. I know. It's so good. And look, there are some controversial things like the drinks breaks. Like obviously it's like, you know, normally I like to have so you've got 45 minutes in you've got like 15 minutes and then it's the other half, but they're breaking it up these drinks breaks. They're saying it's because it's hotter in America. It's, you know, let's be honest, just put three more ads in and make more money. They also have these graphics that are explaining things to I suppose people that don't usually watch the sport, but also let's be honest Americans. So this popped down, you know, if you're watching the footier, whatever, sometimes they eat naps and that sort of thing pops up. They have these little explainers that pop up. This is possibly the wordiest thing I've ever seen. This popped up when Mexico were playing South Africa. This was in the opening game. Down to nine players because two have been removed from the game. They have both been shown red cards, which means they can no longer play in this match. As a result, South Africa must continue the game with only nine players on the field. This is a major disadvantage and makes winning much more difficult. She said they got a red gun. We get it. We get it. We get it, man. Well, two two plays on on the field anymore. Like, this, this would cause a disadvantage and make it harder for the other team to equalize on the field with their cleats. The game is going to be a bit more difficult for the other team. Let's go to the next game. People are very excited to learn for Kay home. Now we don't have Kay home here yet in Adelaide, but I guess if it's a big chance. Let's go home. No, no, no, no, I think it's Kay home. Okay. Maybe. But it's kind of like, if you don't know what that is, it's Kay Mart's answer to IKEA. So imagine IKEA, right? You know how that store works. Imagine that, but it's full of Kay Mart stuff. Yeah. There are only 20 years too late to the market. I feel like IKEA's got a fair foothold and I don't think a home do meatballs. So I know where I'll be getting my flat pack furniture and I'll stick with the Swedes. The craziest thing about it is, obviously IKEA, very blue, whereas at home, okay, home, they've gone for the orange brand. So I find strange, but they're blue and red. Yeah. But I guess I didn't want to go too close to blue because of course that's too close to IKEA. Or they didn't want people thinking this was a bog standard Kay Mart coming in for some goodies and they're like, no, no, this is Kay home. This is different. This is a different spot. Producer Bell, you love shopping at Kay Mart and you also love shopping like sheen and stuff like that. We be going to Kay home. Shut up Ben. I exclusively get my furniture from Salvos. Thank you. Yeah, your furniture from Salvos? Hell yeah. Have you been to the Salvos ones that have furniture? Oh my gosh. Is this true or false? Did you get a bikini once from like a Vinnie's? I have multiple bikinis. That's not it. No, no, no. Okay, you can find brand new ones with the sticker still on. Thank you. Someone probably died in that bill. I'm sorry to say, but someone probably died in that bikini. Do not say that about upshops on air, please. I don't know. I don't know. Look, I get something's great. You know, you can get some good fires of good furniture. I just don't think I need a dead Gels Boreys. Just buy some new bikinis. Yeah, absolutely. In Mazaz News this morning, I keep hearing, so I thought we better talk about it, Liam. We're being reminded to not leave cooking unattended this winter. There's been an average of 284. That's quite a lot. Cooking related fires across specifically South Australia this year. Each year, that's the average is 284 cooking related fires. Is there a footnote saying, but slow cookers are okay? I hope so because I quite often will pop the Dutch oven into set oven. Oh, you use a Dutch oven in a oven. You don't have like a little slow cooker machine. No, no, we've got a Dutch oven, which is the same thing, but you just need to put it on the gas. We can put it in the oven. Yeah, I kind of forgot what a Dutch oven was because for me that is purely putting the sheets over someone's head and unleashing a pants ghost, which of course gets its term from, you know, because you're kind of slowly going to slow roasting him in. Slow roasting them in the Dutch oven. And now I get the correlation. Yeah. Anyway, 131065. Could be cooking related. Could be anything related. When I was about 10, me and my mate Harry, we made a big sparkle of bomb. We took it down to Cobbler Creek. It was around new years. We thought it would set it off in years. And we started a small grass fire. We only had our fongs on. We managed to stamp it all out. Yep, but I've never been so scared in my life. And yeah, obviously kids don't play with fire. Or if you could do a sparkle of bomb, do it in a controlled environment with an adult present, not in a dry creek bed. I remember playing with my neighbour Jake Hall. Yep. We're at the two worlds oval behind the oval. There's an empty paddock and we're playing in the empty paddock. I believe with some sort of fire tool. Excellent. It probably was a sparkle of bomb, let's be honest. And we also started a grass fire. We managed to get it out. But I think there's no fear quite like it. Because it's realising in real time, you're like, oh my life's over. I've what have I done? Because Liam and I both shed our grass fire stories from being children. Let's not do grass fires. That's too serious. Yep. We're talking about fun little fires. Fun fires. Fun little fires. We're now we get to there's not too much damage. 131065 is our number here at KSI. I have got prizes to give In fact, we've got tickets to the movies to go see minions and mucleads.

99.9% of the rest of the world I was refused to believe that lamps went around when you were born like good on your mind appreciate you getting involved secret stain not too far away this morning I feel like it's going off at eight I mean it has to all the clothes we've given away so far it's building to a head you got the beetles no time we're the stick season we've said you can't eat it it's a small white stain on the back of Ben's shirt you can see it with your own eyes on the Ben and Liam's socials you can find it in Rundle Mall was the other clue we gave now we should probably get to the news now bit sad but the glue shoe store is closing down yeah I saw that so all the glue stores across Australia are closing down even the even the one in Rundle Mall directly yeah yeah the glue store Rundle Mall there you go well see if you can crack the code at eight o'clock this morning thousand dollars thirteen one oh six five if you can tell us what our secret sticky white stain on the back of Ben's shirt is secret stain secret stain secret stain secret stain three point oh it's a small white stain on the back of Ben's t-shirt you can see it with your own eyes on the Ben and Liam's socials you can find it in Rundle Mall the beetles twist in the shower no it can't stick season it's inedible Anna joins us now in Fitzroy Anna what's your guess for our secret stain I can't very fly I just said so Anna it's inedible it's inedible eat it yeah no they have their guess and they put their blinkers on it like come on Lisa joins us now in shadow park good morning Lisa what would you do with the thousand dollars hi Ben and Liam I'm actually we're going to get that a new car and the car we're meant to buy is no good I've got a phone call last night so if I could win a thousand dollars that'll help us find that an even better car okay now Lisa have you been playing along have been listening to kiss all the police yeah every day all day 30 this morning I didn't but I did hear the glue the store that's closing down so then I changed my mind what I thought it was to what I think now the glue shoe store in Rundle Mall it's closing down but of course you can put that in Rundle Mall yeah so what do you think this white sticky stain on the back of Ben's shirt is okay I'm dumping up and down I think it's just a glue stick glue stick glue stick think that the white sticky stain on my shirt is from a glue stick it's a sticky stick I suppose you get twist twist the you're dirty yep yep glue stick yeah there is glue obviously on Rundle Mall that they are shutting down it all they sense at all you can't eat it we're in kids at school would eat it you're not supposed to eat it no it's very sticky even on your fingers messy what what is what hey Lisa well you can cool your dad and tell him you're going to get a new car because you got a thousand dollars oh my god Ben and Lam all this is amazing that just means we can look for even better car from my dad yeah well done for putting all the pieces together then there you go glue stick is what it was oh that's fantastic well it got to the point for this one where Liam and I literally was giving out the answer yeah but we want to give away the catch we just kept saying glue I thought I honestly thought this was last Friday especially like we was a small because it was the smallest day in a smaller we were thinking I'll go for like two three days I mean no I can't stick season glue stick yeah I mean we've already said but the Beatles twist and shout you twisted out I mean looking at it it looks sticky on the shirt like it looks like a white glue stain yeah well it's gone off now we can say it is glue stick well done to Lisa in shadow park for getting the secret stain and we are back before we get to the PP yeah why don't we do the thing that you yeah well so we get a little piece of paper right and it just you know it says like hey tomorrow it's 80s for a day we're going back to this day and then it would normally just have a fact and you're supposed to read the sentence because it's only supposed to be quite tight my back was that ET came out this year and that's a promo that'll play throughout the day yeah on like other parts of the show of the radio network and then like throughout our show as well so it's a promo that plays a lot throughout the day and I I felt like we should just play the one we only record it just before we start with the pod but I just I like how the wheels came off of it so have a listen Adelaide it's 80s Friday and this morning we're going back to 1982 yeah this is the year ET came out of the movies yeah never seen us do you know what it is it's on my face you've not seen ET hmm hmm it's a yes an incredible film you should watch the Liberty kids so when you did that little thing I didn't know that was oh that's an ET puts his finger out that's his Elliot's finger they sort of fingers sort of I don't know doc sounds like no they're friends I'm sure it's fun in the 80s but not anymore no they're just friends and what a year for music stick around from nine for wall to wall songs from 1982 imagine if you were just listening like just a casual like what they're talking about yeah I think I'll have to cut that promo down I think so just a little bit this is a shame because you know the boys with the boys are rolling boys are rolling um out of interest what do you think I saw this actually only just yesterday someone asked Steven Spielberg um whether ET was rough or slimy what do you think just from what you've seen of ET from from what I know of ET yeah rough yeah I can't actually watch a whole video to find out the answer so are you dead are you dead bell I'm gonna see you know the ET looks like doesn't look slimy though yeah so
- Yeah, I saw the video you're talking about. - Yeah. - Yeah, no, he said he's not slimy, but he's a little bit moist. - Oh, okay. - He said, and he goes, oh no, ET, I have, he said, great question. He's a little bit moist, but he's not slimy, per se, but he's not dry, but he's not like dripping wet. - I would imagine like he's, I get what he's saying about his a little bit moist. I can interview, he'd have the texture of an old mechanic's hands, who's like running under some water. - Yeah, I mean wet but rough. - Yeah, it's sad they're when they're doing all the tests on ET, and he's like, (imitates a sound) or they hide him in the closet. - I can't say I watched it do recently. I think I watched it once when I was like 14. - Are you guys crazy? - It's ET. - When was the last time you watched ET? - How often are you watching? - One, zero, six months. - Oh, well, yeah. Look, it's been a watch. Try and make it feel hot. - It's ET Tuesdays. (laughs) It's ET Tuesdays. - You know the little boy, like, earlier, in the Red Hoodies, riding around ET's in the bike there. He is like the dad from the show Hill House on Netflix. - I don't know. - Yeah, it's a really good show, but I was like, what the heck when I found out that it was the same. I was like, oh, no, that makes you feel old. What about when ET dresses up, and he's got that hair? (laughs) I assisted you to have things like stuffed toy at that. - I did not know you were such a big ET head. - God bless her. - Hi everyone, like CT. - To be real though, like, when they find ET, like if ET crawled out of your shed, you'd cave it's head in with a shovel. - Oh, my God. - Like it was a me. - It would be. - It would be like touching things with it. - No, you'd kill it straight away, I think. But he was friendly, and he lost his, you know, and then he wanted to phone on. - Did you ever find him? - Well, I don't know, I ruin it. - It's from the 80s, bro. - He does, he, well, so basically, all right, I'll give you the gist. ET crashes on Earth. Luckily, he finds Elliot, sweet little boy. He looks after ET. Now the parents are a bit sus on it. We'll just say, no, they're not sus on it. - They're aware, but the government basically want to find ET and cut him up and do tests on him. And he's saying, no, you can't take him, you can't take him. - I'm a small boy, government listened to me. - The most famous scene is ET's in the front basket all wrapped up and Alex Riding's bike. And then ET makes the bike fly, and they fly past the moon. - You know that, Ben? - You've probably seen that. And, but yeah, it's basically Elliot trying to break ET out. And I think some of his older sister and maybe some of their friends try and help break it out. And then they, he fixes his spaceship. And I think at the end he goes home. - And I'm assuming the sad moment is like, Elliot has to leave. - Yeah, then for granted. - Quite a, ET abducts a small boy. (laughing) - And then for his stay, they do tests on Elliot. (laughing) - That doesn't happen. - At AT's, I got you. - A lot of grus, AT was grimingly the whole time. - Oh, no. - And I'm joking. - No. - Into an out of space laboratory. - No, what happened? - No, what happened? - Wow, okay. - Was there a second one? - No. - Yeah, right. - Ah, there should be. - I bet there. - Elliot, it's the friggin' director. - A, two. - Yeah. - Should we get to some pee pee? - Yeah. - Party planning, of course. - It's actually pee pee pee. - Pepee pee pee, but I'm sure. - Podcast party planning. - Yep. Ben has posted one point of business for the Pod Squad party. Are we just bringing whatever choice of food we want? Is there going to be a decision as to who's bringing what I guys say very guilt brings to it? - No, I think it was just, we left that at bringing what you feel. And don't go overkill. I'm obviously gonna be bringing the giant Cobb for great expense to me. But that's fine. Like I think we'll have enough Cobb to go around. - Yep. - But yeah, I mean, just whatever, man. Just some pizza shapes or tim tembs or whatever. We're probably gonna have more food than we need. Especially because I suppose we won't be eating whilst we're recording the podcast. But I think it's gonna be pretty casual fun. - Is the rule then, if you brought it and there's leftovers you get to take your dish back with you? - Yeah, sure. - Yeah. - Yeah, then we don't want food waste. So I mean, I'm sure Belle will probably have a boot full of these snacks. (laughing) But yeah, of course, if you, yeah, we don't want it to go to waste. So, and look, we're not gonna deny you entry if you don't bring anything. - No, I know. - How are you going with the feeling for the Cobb? - I gotta get that today. - So it's a lot of it. - What is it? What is in a Cobb? - Well, is the cream cheese? - Yeah, what is it? - So I've gotta get, say, I'm just trying to do the math in my head now. - Probably actually 3,000 grams of frozen chopped spinach. - So three kilos. - Three kilos. (laughing) - Yeah, okay, well, I'm, all right, I'll do the, so I'm gonna do four times of what I'm reading here. - Yeah, yeah. - 300 grams of sour cream. So I need, yeah, three, then I'll have three on top of that. Three packets of dried mixed continental spring vegetables soup. That's pretty cheap, as was. 250 mil of egg mayonnaise. I basically need a liter of egg mayonnaise. - I'm not gonna, I'm gonna go on record and say that this, it sounds like the kind of dish that I'm gonna eat. - It's, you ever had one? - No, don't be dick. (laughing) - I don't, everything's so fast, I'm the gross. - It's disgusting. - Well, continent super mix with cream cheese. - Cream cheese, nice. (laughing) - I swear to Ethan God, if I make a six liter batch of cob filling, and no one fucking touches my cob, I'm gonna be so pissed off. So she keeps asking, "What are we gonna get this mingle box?" And I'm like, "I know, I've donated it to like, we won't actually get there." So, you know what I mean? - No, you took the mingle box. - I did not sell it still here. - I thought they were sending extra mingle. - They are, so. - But I'm just, well, I can, I'll take some mingle. - I'll take a little bit. - I think I've at least, at least, I can go on with the mingle box. - Because so the mingle box that we got, we can put that in the pinata, and then on top of that, if it hopefully gets here by tomorrow, all of the other ming stuff that they've sent this week can be take away little goody bits for people to take with them. Or Liam can take his box, and if everything comes by tomorrow or vice versa, then that can just be in there. No one gets goody bags. Everyone just smashes the pinata, and that's it. - Yeah. - What time are you getting their bill to set up? - Ah, I think I'll probably be there from like five. - Okay. - You guys long enough? - Are you kidding? - There's a bit to organize. I'm thinking of the pulley system for Liam's performance. - Okay, well, we need to talk through that. So that's not happening, obviously. - Liam's just furrowed his brow. - News to me. - In no world is that. - So what, I gotta put my hand in my pocket and get three letters of mayonnaise, and you're not, you're not gonna get there six hours early to, to put a safety mechanism for a-- - You can talk to Tom about that, 'cause the roof, the roof-- - We didn't get the structural engineers to install the LBL in the ceiling to support Liam's six man harness. - And they were hearing that they carped. - Carp, it's not thick. - Yeah. - The roof's low, and it's not very-- - Well, we're gonna first come here about a low roof. (laughing) - I just don't know how to crawl in the knees the whole time. - We're gonna have to change venue because I'm sort of, sort of freaking Alice and Wonderland party, we're not gonna be all like, we're gonna be very told, you know? - I showed you the photo of the room. - You've seen it. - We've got a low fogger. - Yeah, a little more fogger. It's not gonna be low. It's gonna be the whole room at this point, 'cause it's so freaking, no, but-- - Can I just say as well, I'm all for the low fogger, but I did, no, no, no, I did a thing with the smoke machine earlier this week. I don't know if I actually spoke about that on the podcast or on air or whatever, but no, I did. Did I mention that the fibergated-- - I remember if that was on the pod or with us. - What I just told you in person, yeah. So you're genuinely the fibergated, 'cause it was in a shopping center of fortress at the top of, it was in the chip and down where we used to work ultimately there across the road, Sydney. - It's like the shopping center, but there was a glue down the bottom there. Yeah, that was the Melbourne fortress we went. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - But it's just funny, that was a fortress there. And yeah, the smoke machine was on the fibergated cams. Obviously we don't want that, but also I had the source throat all day, 'cause it felt like I'd just vaped like the entire thing, 'cause when you're just in the smoke the whole time, it's a little rough on the throat, I gotta say. - Well, this is a fog machine, different. It's a low fogger. - So the low fogger's different from the smoke machine. - And if you don't stop dropping roll, then you shouldn't be in your mouth. You should be okay, 'cause it's. - The low fog has got certain chemicals, you know, I imagine that that stops it from going above the knee. - And it's water-based, if it's fog, I don't know. I'm just guessing, but yes, the smoke alarms will be. - Maybe Bel could do a recital of like a ET monologue or something. - Why are the ET person now? - Well, you're selfish just pretty crumb-cottest, if you took some of the fluff of it, it will be. - I love ET suddenly, you can do it. - Is Karen the ear coming? - Oh, good question. - You should say I'm worried if there's the low fogger, that might be a regular fogger to her. - Oh, Jesus Christ. - Yeah, most of the people who came for this fight-mog party probably wouldn't have the best time if the low fogger was dutching them all out. - The other bit of business, what was I also gonna say? - I mean, I was just burning through some political posts unless you've got something pressing. - No, I think that was it just a smoke alarm stuff with the fogger, the speakers, yeah, we're fine. - Okay, yeah. - And you're getting that three. - No, Ben. - Who's gonna set up the spool of bunting around the gluten-free zone for things, Ben? - I will be doing that, like I'm doing everything else. - You're using it hours enough. - You're all bunting. - You're mean, spoo. - Okay. All right, let's get to the post in the pod squad about the podcast party. Nicky has said that the top of the list
The title is not trying to dick anyone around. I'm just genuinely struggling with the dichotomy of social anxiety and extreme phomo. Fair enough. I know it's kid friendly, but I do fear three and a half year old might be a wee bit young question mark. If so, is there anyone else in the Northern suburbs who's going alone that would like to carpool? I have a singing EV, the transport, I see. - Oh the woo-hoo. - She says, "I personally like to refer to her "as the Jesus noise." - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Was it like that? - Yeah, and then I think, - Shout out to you, Nikki. It'd be lovely to see you there. - Nikki, Nikki. - Yeah, look, I think it's gonna be a bit of a mix back. To be honest, Nikki, as I said, my parents are gonna be there wearing capes. - There are some infants coming. - There'll be kids, there'll be a bit of, yeah. And I find quite often at these things, like these podcasty things, I'm always like, "Oh, that was nice. I always get the vibe." That was really nice. - Everyone's always very kind. - We're all on the same page. - But if you're listening, you know, part of a pretty small group, I would say. - If you don't wanna chat to anyone, just stand like I will be doing in the corner. Like don't feel like, - You don't have to lean in? - Don't feel like you need to interact with anyone if you don't want to. - You know, you're happy about traffic light parties, where they're like, yeah. Like green, good to go. - Single red, like don't talk to me. - We could maybe do a traffic light signal for if you're how it interested. - Talk. (laughing) Like if someone's got red, it's like, well, don't talk to them. - They're gonna be red and laying could be green. - Yeah. I like that. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Okay. - But then someone did comment, was it Jander? Someone commented saying they're going by themselves or locked people? - Yeah, a few comments people were saying going by themselves. So, if you are coming by yourself, don't feel bad. And if you bring someone, don't feel bad. Everybody's welcome. - Yeah, there will be enough people there feeling a little uncomfortable not knowing everyone. That's literally, I know we're like, so lucky we know each other and we know a few podcasts that's from over the years. But the whole thing's so weird that I think it won't be weird. - Exactly. - I don't think it's gonna be like, oh, what's that person doing here? Like, it's not like we're all friends catching up every single Friday and you're the old one out. Like everyone there is like a little bit like what's happening, including the Estonian, NYX to the Trickster, probably the AV guys. Wolf. Hey everyone. Hey everyone will be a little bit like, what is this? - Now this is exciting. I love seeing this Cameron Boyd Thompson as posted a long time listener first time poster. Oh. Love seeing a first time poster. Saw this at my corner store and wanted to know if there will be any Pringles Mingles at the party or does Mingles need to work on a cease and desist? And he's posted a photo of Pringles have got a, this is in Canada, have got a Pringles Mingles. Get out of here. - Yeah, he's in Canada. - Yeah, he said unfortunately I will not be attending due to the fact that I might be the furthest away listener all the way from Canada. Cheers everyone. Good on you, Cam. - Pringles Mingles, wow, there you go. - Yeah. - And jeez. - Yeah. - Sorry, I have an X another way. - No, it's probably a good thing you're not coming Cam, 'cause if you came from overseas I have to think of an almighty face. (laughing) - Yes. And I think, I mean, Luke Lee, I mean there's so much going in the pod squad. Someone also put, no vac put that every time he hears like this day, it was a course won't be. - Lane won't be heard again, 'cause he was put to death. - Oh yeah. - Has gone off, has stopped out. - Yeah. - Last bit of PPP from me is a post from Jander. He said, "Get out, you'll couple of points of business from me. For the Adelaide locals, do you think it's appropriate to wear a Star Wars costume and catch the O-Bahn into the city?" - Yeah, I think that's fine. I think you sometimes see like, you see those people that dress up like Naruto or whatever. - I think if you're dressed, if you're dressed as Darth Sidious on the O-Bahn there'll be weirder people on the bus than you. - Yeah, probably way. - I think it's fine, Jander. Point number two said, "I don't want to exclude people, "but how is the raffle for show memorabilia being managed?" I'm just scared that given it was mentioned on a radio listeners Susan from Elizabeth South might come along to the podcast party win something like the Flagglehorn staff or the boot of Corpoth, not understand what it represents and it ends up in the bin. - Yeah, well, of course you can fight in the car park after for the goods. That's completely unregulated. - What you do after 8pm. - It's a good point. I don't think anyone's gonna be coming along that doesn't really understand the show. - I strongly doubt that. - Yeah. What are we actually, what genuinely? How many people are actually gonna come to this thing? - Well, without the people ticking us around, I would say we're looking at a good 50. - I would say 50. - Really? - Yeah, I would've said 50. - And I've got 75 bingo balls for the match. - Wow, okay, so we basically cap out at 70. - 75, yeah. - You don't think there's any danger at capping out at 75, otherwise we have to just do it in the car park. - What? - Like street fight sort of thing. - We'll street fight in the car park. - The bingo balls on the party in the car park. - No, it was a fight. - We would hold up an item and then people would fight in the winter. - With all that lights over, so. - Yeah, you can choose whether you want to fight or not, but yeah. - Yeah, of course, there will be the referee, addresses, so let's just be crumb. (laughing) - Round one! - And then we'll just be walking past that happening. - Yes. - At 8 p.m. on Friday night outside the Estonian hall. And they're going, "Oh, that's okay, that's just the kiss breakfast." - It's such a deep cut that neither of you know anything, maybe Liam might know, but there's a great episode from season eight of South Park when it's the South Park anime episode. And the kids, it's actually an incredible piece of art where the animators, like, you know, South Park animation is quite simple, but for that episode and the episode alone, they fully animator in the kids' imaginations as proper anime, which is like highly detailed. - Oh, yeah, I've not seen that. - But then there's like one moment where they're having this massive fight scene and it's always crazy action. And then it cuts back to the real South Park world, where it's not in their imagination and it's animated as a regular South Park. And it's these kids and they're all fighting in the car park. And then one guy just drives past, he just turns and he's like, "It's just like what is going on?" - That's literally, I imagine. - Literally this. And there's Liam being winched up on a face, - You know, heads, it's amazing. The reality of it is getting these. - So, I'm like, "Oh my God, this is just so fun." - Yes. - I also kinda, I'm not gonna lie, I sort of have no idea what's going on to an extent. - What do you mean? - Like, I sort of got a rough idea of how it's gonna play out, but I'm a little bit like, "We'll just go with the flow and we'll work it out." - Yeah, I love it. - I've learned a lot of things. I'm not like, "Cool, we get there, we start, we do this." I think it's gonna be very little, we'll just work it out as we're there. - Yes, and just so you know, like, this is a non-backed event by the company. - It's not kiss branded, it's not kiss funded, it's the people, it's the people. - We got in trouble for touching the kiss, spool of bunting. - Correct. Now, I've just been told how to say, you can't use that bunting 'cause it's distancing themselves from this. - Yes, because, - Oh, I've seen this group. - So again, whatever happens at this party, is not the responsibility of this company. - Sounds like a hell of a party. - And therefore, yeah, we don't have any funding, but also, like, you know, there's no itinerary printed out from Tarlia, for example. - Imagine if ARN is doing this. - Which is the parent company of KSM. If ARN has a release and media statement saying that we are not responsible for the doves that came out of the arses. - Hey. - A podcast party. - Hey. - The producer dressed as delicious beams, actions on the night. We don't condone the car park fighting distance ourselves. - Everything. - Four children were lost in the depth of the shag carpet. - Yeah, everything this company's been doing in the last few weeks. - A asthma attack from the low-fogger. She signed a waiver before she was there, which is not the responsibility of ARN or its partners or shareholders. - None of the food poisoning that was. - Well, I'm worried about allergies. - For all of the listeners of the podcast, we are not responsible for any of that from the cottage cream cheese. - No, legit. If you are anaphylactic, please, it is the responsibility of yourself. If there is something, yeah, don't bring a bag of peanuts or the wing. - Oh, peanuts. - Yeah. - You put some waivers. - This opens up a whole can of. - Have you organized the waivers yet, Bill? - No. - I think she get there at three. - Ah! - I think she get there at three to make sure that the waiver's. - She get the waiver sorted. (buzzer) - The former producer wolf who was giving street races, and he's B-Y-D. (laughing) Is not, and has never been associated with ARN or its associates. - Whilst we did have a, whilst we understand there was a gluten-free zone established the spool of bunting was not appropriately tied, therefore three celiacs. - I have dyes. - I have dyes. - And ARN is not responsible for any of that. (sighs) - No, but seriously, like, yeah. - I think we'll be right. - Everyone has to, yeah, take care of your own kids, please, and don't bring a bag of peanuts or something that someone could be. - We not organized the crash. - Oh, get out, Bill. - We're organizing a crash that was gonna be managed by so let's just be crumb. - I knew you were gonna say, yeah, okay. - Well. - Come on, Craig. (laughing) - Please, we're gonna become crumb crumb crumb crumb crumb crumb. - Fram-watt. (laughing) - It's a callback. (laughing) - Ah, I know how it's all gonna be good. - It's fun, it's gonna be good fun. - It's like the pinnata B-save. - Is it a hard six star at six for us? - What do you mean? - Is it a hard start for us? - Yeah, well, hard six, yeah, yeah. - What are you aiming for rolling in at 730? - I thought if you got there at three-ish, and then I'll roll in with the low-fogger at 630 to record the podcast, of course. - Absolutely not. - I'll be there, I'll be there. - You need a hammer with a sack truck to get the carbon. - The sack truck. - Yeah. - You go on? - No, I'll be there, remember the Estonian dust. - Yeah. - But it'll be on the back of the lorry. I've got like an oversized car behind me with the flashing lights.
That's all the stuff, brilliant. - I actually have to go to Brighton tomorrow to get the bread. - All those out of the house, the magnets. So I can't be anywhere near the sack truck. - All the lorry. - It'll all lock up. So it's a sick weekend, pod party, into USA, Australia. - Wow, it's all happening. - It is. - I'm very excited. - All right. - All right, guys, we'll hand in. 321. - Pod party. - Pod party. - I think we're ready to go. - God. - And that's it.

Summary:
Transkriptio on osa IHART-podcastia, jossa käsitellään monenlaisia aiheita.
Ohjelmassa avataan puhelinlinja, jossa kuuntelijat voivat kertoa pienistä saavutuksistaan. Soittajat kertovat muun muassa viinasta pidättäytymisestä, leivonnasta ja moottoripyöräkortin suorittamisesta. Lopuksi Carmen osallistuu visailuun ja vastaa oikein kaikkiin kysymyksiin, voittaen liput Ice Age -tapahtumaan.
