Is it a certain portion of Houston that you claim or that you consider yourself growing up in? Yes, most cities, Texas is outside of Houston. Shout out to the South Side. Now, circumstances could be different for everyone, but can you give the audience here five tips for anyone visiting Houston? Five tips? Okay. If you go to the club, be ready to spend a bag because you definitely, you overly spend a bag. Two, got to make sure you find something good to eat. We got so many different places to eat, y'all. It's just like, it's like, you know, when you're trying to think of something, you can't really think of it. But like, we got so many good places to eat. Got to come for the food. Find your food spot. Lost and Found. I love Lost and Found. Their pasta is so good. So good. Lost and Found. Yeah, for sure. You said name five? Yes, you named two so far. Okay. Lost and Found. Now, do you have a personal favorite establishment when it comes to the nightlife or the club life? Yeah, I have a personal favorite. I really like Sakai. I love Sakai. Every time I go, he have a time. For sure. And when it comes to the food, you mentioned one spot in particular you enjoy. It's called Lost and Found. Now, I know with food establishments, sometimes they can be chains, which are multiple locations. And some people say, hey, if there's multiple locations, go to this specific location. Is this a local chain as well? Are there multiple locations or is there just one of this establishment? I know one of this establishment. If they got more, I wouldn't know because that's the one that I would tell you to go to. And you mentioned the food chain. And you mentioned the pasta. Is the pasta called something special? Do you order it a certain way? Yes, it's loaded Cajun pasta. That's some fast shit, but it's so good. It's so good. It's got sausage, chicken, shrimp, everything. Loaded up. Loaded. Just curious there. Yeah. And also, I want to ask you this when it comes to Houston. Something, I know you mentioned a side that you represent, that you grew up in. But, you know, when it comes to some of the lyrics in the music in Houston, some in the audience have heard recording artists say wards. This ward, that ward, so on and so forth. Can you explain what these wards are? And did you grow up in a ward by any chance? No, I did not grow up in a ward, but we do know we got third ward, fourth ward. Fifth ward, third ward is, third ward is up there. Then you've got fifth ward, you know, that's the real trenches. So, but yeah, there's some wards out there on the north side. Are you able to explain what these wards are? Um, they're different hoods. Got it. Just curious there. All right. Well, moving forward, do you have some music topics for you? And we'll start off with this. Okay. Now, go ahead. Take a sip. Okay. Sorry. No, no, no. Do your thing. Now, at this point, what genre of music do you consider yourself? Um, rap, melodic. And when it comes to rap, even though you are on the melodic side of things, what is your opinion? Ad-libs in a song. Ad-libs is very important. And ad-libs are actually kind of hard. Like, they're not hard, but like, I feel like everybody is not, you know, as good at ad-libs as other artists, to be honest, but they're really important to a song, for sure. It can make something simple turn into something even bigger. And when it comes to your music as well, as melodic as you are, if there was a circle chart of 100%, what percentage would you say songs of yours encompasses ad-libs? The ad-libs versus no ad-libs. Um, see, I'm not really an ad-libs girly, like, honestly. Like, yeah, like, they got some ad-libs, though. I'm probably making some noises or, you know, something like that to, like, turn it up. But as far as just, like, you know, like, the creative ad-libs that people do and stuff. But I would say at least half of my songs got ad-libs, if not almost all, to be honest. They all have some type of ad-libs. Now, do you have a strategy when it comes to implementing these ad-libs? Like, how do you know when to do it, how much of it to do, so on and so forth? Um, you just kind of feel it. Like, you just listen to the beat and it's like, how are you feeling? If you're like, hey, ooh, like, you know, you just kind of feel it. That's all I can say. You got to feel it. And when it comes to your ad-libs, do you have a signature ad-lib by any chance? I don't. Um, I don't. A main ad-lib you're known for. I don't. I'm still trying to find it. My producer just told me that the other day. Like, I need to create my own type of, you know, that little tag. But I'm like, I'm still trying to find it. The most I go in there and say is like, hey. I say that a lot. But, you know, we working on it. And what about this? When it comes to collaborating with other recording artists, have you ever added your ad-libs to another artist's verse on the same song? Absolutely. Plenty of times. And how does that work? Does the other artist ask you to do that? Or you just voluntarily do this? Um, voluntarily. And it's like, you know, they don't like it. They can take it off or leave it. But I feel like, you know, when it's leading up to your verse, you get your ad-libs going a little bit as the hook is ending. You feel me? And I also wanted to rewind to that ad-lib that you do use a lot of, which is like an A for you. But just for further clarification with that ad-lib in particular, even though it's not your signature ad-lib, were you the first recording artist to ever do that ad-lib? Hell no. Hell no. We all didn't heard it. Everybody just does it in their own way, you know? Everybody say A differently. They might hold it out. They might say it quick, you know? Were you inspired by anybody in particular with that particular ad-lib there? No. It's just. When you're making music, you just, like I said, you just feel it. Just like, that's a common thing to say, like, you know, when you're getting laid or whatever. And when it comes to your music catalog, I am curious about this as well. Now, you have standalone titles, but you also have a series as well. One series within your discography. And that is The Real. Lyric, Michelle Series. You're up to Volume 2 at this point. Yes. For those in the audience wondering, can they expect a Volume 3 at some point? Or are you done with that series? Um. I think I'm done with that series. Yeah. And how are you done with that one? Because we're on to, you know, different things. I'm just elevating and growing as I go. And I'm in a different vibe now. Like, I want to give off a different energy. You saw who I was. So now I'm about to let you know I still am. Feel me? And speaking of your past standalone titles that aren't. not series have there been any plans to maybe turn any of those into some sort of series perhaps um are you thinking about bringing any past titles back so to speak in a form of a sequel yeah right um nah i think this what i'm about to draw next will be a beginning of a new sequel and are you able to share that title yet um yes i can my project uh is going to be called still that girl now can you shed some light on this title who named this title and the reasoning for it um i named this title because um you know i've been doing music for a really long time and you know i had a baby and you know i went through the motions and i was kind of in and in and out of it so um now this is basically basically just a statement to let everybody know like i'm still that girl like i'm still here still her always was her but this is just like okay now i'm gonna smash the gas and really remind y'all like i'm still here is this almost like a response to maybe those that are wondering where have you been where have you gone that sort of thing yes absolutely for those who's wondering for those who gonna wonder like just you know just really capitalizing off the fact that you know i did you know i took a break cool but we're here and like you know it's like a reminder and how long was that break for um um i would probably say like at least two years like at least two years but it's like you know but i was still working though i just wasn't i wasn't consistent and i wasn't on top of it but it's like now we smashing the gas and what was the reason for the inconsistency back then i just had a baby and i just had a lot going on to be honest like um being a mom is not as easy as i thought it was gonna be in my brain it actually took a lot of my time and dedication and so you know i just had to really focus on her and be there um i didn't want to always you know have to be gone all the time being in the studio and away from her it's just a lot and you know there's a lot of things mentally too um but you gotta you know push through now we have seen some do the opposite of that we've seen some recording artists female recording artists that have had a baby and they're still publicly working not just like you where you describe you were still working but there were some inconsistencies but a lot of it was kind of hidden from the public or right shielded from the public of you working we've seen some female recording artists working publicly right meaning they're still performing or they're still doing this or that on social media uh maybe a little bit more of that but more consistent than you were yeah was do you feel like that's a trend of female recording artists doing this having a baby and going through the motions and publicly working uh maybe that if you consider that a trend was that a trend during the time of your pregnancy uh and if not what do you make of that was that a decision you had to think about okay should i be in public working and still doing this having this baby versus being behind the scenes a little bit a did you was that a conscious thought i know it's a lot of questions i asked here see if you can kind of break that down okay um yes i do see that other girls are able to do that and i love that for them like that's so amazing i commend that like a hundred percent have your baby but still do you and live your life so yeah i think that's amazing but i feel like with me it just was it was just it just wasn't being consistent like then just didn't put my mind to it like i kind of put all my focus here instead of like being able to balance and you know make time for this and make time for that you know i kind of just let myself just go into that mom mode you know what i'm saying so yeah and for those in the audience understandably that is a tough decision to make yeah some will choose the mom mode some will choose the career mode some try to dip and dabble and do a little bit of each yeah but obviously you chose the mom mode and you chose the mom mode and you chose the career mode you chose the mom mode looking back with all things considered and no judgment here but did you make the right decision absolutely i love my baby i love her so much um and i feel like it's important to her too to have that time like it's like yeah should i have been doing both but i wouldn't i wouldn't say like it would be a bad decision ever because just like could regarding her like you know um regarding choosing to be with her now should i have probably made more decisions than i should have made i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i just i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know to still do me too absolutely just curious there and also when it came to this ball of questions that i asked you uh i asked you do you think this is a trend like oh it's females you know working publicly along with their pregnancy doing shows still recording music things of that nature some shielded some you know kind of hide the public from all that stuff yeah there are some females do do you feel like that's a trend that people are starting to showcase or um i wouldn't say a trend is the word i feel like we're all grown women we're all finding love and get we what 24 25 and um 24 25 26 you know and i feel like it's just that time in our life that and if you know if it happens and a lot of girls make music so they gotta keep working and they gotta keep working and they gotta keep working and they gotta keep doing that so i don't think it's a trend i just think that everybody's the same age kind of going through the same thing they just having a baby but they still working too and how would you deal with some of those comments you know because of the inconsistency that you might have seen from time to time like uh and i'm you know just putting this out there yeah it's incorrect you can correct me but okay i don't know if you've seen comments like oh lyric fell off or where's lyric what happened to lyric uh lyrics off her trajectory yeah she was this person now did you see this sort of stuff absolutely i see it all the time but like that's why i say like when you just when you're going through stuff it's kind of like battling like when people are saying all these things because you know it doesn't really affect me but it's like damn like i don't want to see that all the time you know so i kind of just you know you got to figure it out and push through it but um yeah i definitely be seeing that but it don't make me feel like no type of way because it's like we here we working you know i was going through my own personal stuff and dealing with it how i was dealing with it at the time but it's like now we're here past don't matter we smashing the guys and uh before we talk about the uh future a little bit further when it comes to the past and just dealing with all that mentally i know you use the phrase like push through and things of that nature yeah when you say those type of phrases like push through did you do this on your own did you have some sort of support system did you have maybe professional mental health professional support with any of this um no i kind of just pushed through like everybody kind of was just following my core like if i felt bad everybody was kind of you know falling back too but it's like every time i just you know i just choose to like you know keep going like i'm not gonna quit i'm not gonna you know give up like what i've been working for no i'm about to really just get the ball and like be consistent and really you know stand on business like stop just saying i'm gonna do stuff like really do it like really lock in be consistent with what i'm doing because you know um what i normally do is like i'll drop a single and i probably won't drop again for six months it's like no that ain't gonna work this year that's not gonna work like gotta stay on you know stand on business gotta stand on business now speaking of the future here you just shared the title to this project that they can look forward to do you want to share a release date um i don't have a release date but i do know that it will be dropping in the spring late march i'm sorry okay go ahead late march early april and what about his feet excuse me what about as far as features do you want to share any features um not quite yet because it's not finalized and anything else about this body of work at least we got the title out of you i know you're kind of tight-lipped about everything else but anything else you want to share in regards to this um yeah it's um i just want to share like just be prepared to hear new vibes from me um it doesn't sound like you know anything else that you probably heard from me so just be prepared have an open ear to hear some new vibes um it's an eight song project i feel like all the songs are like i love them all but um yeah just be prepared to hear be prepared be ready and this song that you're currently promoting this is one of the eight at the very least yes yes it is i asked you some of these questions before okay but because it's been a few years now you might have different answers so that's why i want to bring them back up to see if things have changed and if not that'll be interesting okay okay so at this point what is the biggest misconception of what's a wrong accurate idea oh my god you know what was so funny i feel like i just saw a clip from when you asked me that question and i already know what i said and it's definitely still the truth the biggest misconception people have about me is that i'm shy either i'm shy or i don't know i think some people be feeling like i'm a bitch or something because i don't i just don't know what i give off but in many occasions when people talk to me for the second time or you know not second time literally but down the road they'll be like oh you actually is cool oh you cool as fuck and i'll be like dang wait i think that at first like i'll be thrown off because i'll be thinking i'll be being so cool but i don't know what people be thinking to me honestly like it's kind of weird because i think i'm so nice but i'm like maybe it's me maybe i'm the problem maybe i'm like in a my own world and i don't know what i'm giving off but to me i'm just i'm super nice i don't know why people think that now curious here have you lost opportunities because of this misconception uh no i don't think it ever got to that point like of losing opportunities more so just like people's personal feelings like when they get around me they just think that about me i don't know why and when it comes to opportunities i don't know why i don't think it ever got to that point opportunities over the years curious here what's been the biggest opportunity you received and passed on and you wish you didn't looking back um biggest opportunity passed on yes and this doesn't even have to be in regards to bookings it could be an opportunity outside the music industry right maybe an investment opportunity you wish you could have done or should have done looking back on it but i don't think it ever got to that point looking back and you passed on it oh man i should have done that damn i don't know i can't think of anything over top of my head because lately if i passed on it or anything fumble it's been a good thing and it worked out in my favor so i'll have to think really deep to answer that one and what about the opposite end of the spectrum what's been the biggest opportunity that you received and accepted and glad you did um opportunity that i accepted yeah maybe you were even thinking about not doing it but you end up doing it and you're glad you did um dang but i'm glad that i did do it biggest opportunity you received and you took it and you're glad you did opportunity i just feel like i'm thinking too deep into this question is that like a thing for you where you overthink absolutely i overthink everything because the last question i'm like well i could think like a bunch of small things like you know when you go to your day you'd be like oh see i'm glad i did that like i would bring something from home and then you know a little bit when you say opportunity it's like i don't know the opportunity but overthinking um is that a uh is that a strength or a weakness for you um definitely a weakness for sure i overthink every fucking thing in my life i overthink every fucking thing in my life from the moment i wake up like it can be the littlest things and it's like no i'm trying to tell myself like just stop like i need to be stopped for real is that one of your resolutions for 2026 is to stop overthinking absolutely on the top of my list no overthinking all 2026 now is this is this just like a personal um reflection something that you notice you do do other note others around you notice you do this have others ask you to stop overthinking or is this just like you know sometimes people are their own worst critics so i don't know if this is you just saying that you're an overthinker and you think this way or are there others that are saying the same thing about you no my man tells me every day to stop overthinking because i'd be asking him like what do you think i should do should i he like bro make a decision i'm like i can't like help me but i'm trying to get better at it like it gets that deep like i'll just be thinking like well if i do this this is that i'm like i never can just choose i always be like well this or will that but i need to just make a decision now that was going to be one of my next questions coming up was the status between you and your man but as you just mentioned you said it so emphatically that uh status is fine between you at this point absolutely and uh the uh rock overly fine rock on that finger there uh signifies that as well uh but curious here the uh the uh relationship between you two the dynamic between you two at this point what are the titles um that's my fiance but we're about to get married this year so say two okay that was the question there still engaged to be married is there a date for this yet or not yet but it will be this year we haven't picked the exact day but it will be this year for sure now just for some backstory to this relationship just curious here how did you two even get together um what's the origin story behind that um well we met through a mutual um yeah we met through a mutual baby jay um he is his dad was working with shakur you know with boxing and stuff and then i was working with them musically and then um you know shakur saw me with them and he told baby jay of course he seen me he had to kind of see what that was about so he told baby jay to you know make the move and then yeah we connected and can you describe what that first date was like uh of course we went to papados papados we went to papados yup he came and got me from my house he was the first um person that ever came and like picked me up from my parents house at that time and uh took me somewhere i was like what was i like 19 like he met my parents and stuff and then we went to papados it was a fun night real funny and who said i love you first between the two of you who broke out the l word um he definitely told me do you remember how he did it um saying i love you for the very first time yeah i remember yeah you know if you know you know and how did this relationship become public um we just popped out popped out uh we dated for a really long you know at least like a year before we ended up doing that so you know we learned each other and we made our decision and we popped up and that was a joint decision before going public together yes got it so that was talked about yeah and uh did you uh make the right decision on going public after a year or so absolutely about that time and i ain't nothing to hide and neither is he and when it comes to you know your occupations you two are in both different occupations but have they crossed paths in some sort of fashion so for example has he gotten an itch to get by behind the mic at all or vice versa have you gotten an itch to maybe get into the ring hell no and do some sort of boxing yourself absolutely not uh you know he be he be playing on that mic he need to drop a song though we i'm trying to tell him he needs to go ahead and drop his song do his thing but he'd be playing but uh we won't see you in the boxing ring anytime soon no you'll never see me in there unless um i don't know what i would be doing in there maybe giving him some water wiping his sweat now when it comes to tattoos you do have a few tattoos on your body and you have one in reference to him yeah yeah that is on your bikini line but what about him does he have a tattoo of you like is this like a matching tattoo thing in the sense of you're on his bikini line but do you have matching tattoos in a sense you have his name tatted on your body does he have your name tatted on his yes he does and how did that happen whose idea was that to tat first unless that was something that was planned out as well well we got our tattoos together so um i think the tattoo artist was just already at the house i don't remember if he came specifically to do it or not but we just both was just like like let's get each other named and then you know just got him so was that just for clarification was that spontaneous yeah definitely like yeah and how long into the relationship would you say before you guys actually tattoo your names to one uh i was pregnant so what was that like a year some no a year about a year if i was pregnant yeah about a year and uh you could have placed his tattoo on any part of your body why the bikini line there was that by his request was that something you just do on your own um uh kind of both um yeah and where are you on his body as far as your tattoo um on his ankle and on his wrist oh so you're tatted on twice yeah and was that uh also on the same day or those were two separate two separate occasions and uh because you're tatted on twice on his body has there been a thought to tat him twice on yours somewhere yeah we both um the one i was actually telling you about was the one on my ankle oh so he is tatted twice yeah oh okay yeah so our first one it was on the ankle oh okay first one on the ankle yeah so both of you two it was on the ankle first time yeah okay got it so it was kind of matching and then the second tattoo for each it was on a different part yes exactly i see i see got it and uh how far apart were the tattoos so the first one was when you yeah that's when i was pregnant and the second time probably was like last year pregnancy yeah after got it yeah and was that spontaneous as well uh yeah pretty much the second time yeah and uh just i i hope i'm not uh overloading you with these tattoo questions but was that jointly done together the second time uh no we was in two different places and who does theirs first um i did mine first and uh he does his maybe like shortly after is that something you say hey i just got a tattoo of you know it's your turn type of thing or he just if he does it he does it that type of thing um it was kind of both but like you know i wasn't pressing it though but you know that's why he just whenever he would feel like doing it he just did it i see now curious here when it comes to this uh relationship is there anything else you want to mention about um nothing specific like what do you mean like regarding what just anything else any uh any uh misconceptions with this relationship that people may have any misunderstandings about it anything else that hasn't been said that you want to set the record straight on in regards to it um no nobody better than i have whatever and uh just a couple of uh extra questions about him here before we wind down the questions uh out of all of his characteristics what do you enjoy the most about him characteristics yes the thing i enjoy the most about him is um he just you know like that's like my best friend so like he's somebody i can always talk to we talk 24 7 i could tell him anything he could tell him anything he could tell him anything i could tell him anything i could tell him anything so yeah and just to be fair here on the opposite end of the spectrum is there a characteristic of his you can't stand that i can't stand he always think he right he be right sometimes but he always think he right now to be even more fair if there was a circle chart of a hundred percent what percentage is he actually right um i know he tries to bat a thousand i would say but what is it in all actuality like 85 85. and a last question about him what's the best advice you've received from him one most important thing you learned being around him so far um definitely his work ethic um he works super hard he has great discipline you know um what he does is a one-man sport you know um what he does is a one-man sport you know um what he does is a one-man sport you know um what he does is a one-man sport you know um what he does is a one-man sport so he has to always be ready so he don't gotta get ready but um yeah if you around him you'll see like he just works super super hard every day he's in the gym perfecting something something new you know what i'm saying like he's steady keeping his brain going and staying focused even outside of camp so yeah definitely inspiring to see now what about this i've asked you this previously but bringing this back again just in case uh uh you may have something new and if not that's okay we'll move forward but craziest rumor you heard about yourself at this point um honestly i haven't been hearing no rumors about me thank god well actually i'll be seeing so i'll be seeing i'll be seeing something that's not true but i don't want to shed any light onto it but um i'll be seeing people assume a lot of things about me and i'll be seeing something that's not true but i don't want to shed any light things and that don't be the case you know now how do you handle rumors at this point what's your policy on them so in this case there is a rumor that uh you know at first you didn't think of one but then you thought one but you don't want to shed any light and those in the audience can understand that yeah but how do you handle rumors at this point what's your policy on them are you the type that will publicly address them as they come you sweep it under the rug let people talk how do you operate at this point with them um i feel like at this point like the rumor that i see i just don't i just don't worry about it because i feel like as long as i know and the other person know who it got to do with or whatever or what whatever it may be as long as i know people close to me know that that's not the truth then i don't give a fuck because people gonna say what they want regardless like they're gonna say whatever so it's just like and they gonna believe what they want to believe even if you get on there and do clear it up they still go around with their own narrative or what they think is true and what's not so i don't care like you can't i don't let it affect me or anything i do now is this mentality something you grew into or is this how you have always been with rumors um pretty much i've always been because it's like you can't really let it bother you honestly like people gonna believe what they want to believe like it ain't nothing you can even really do at that point literally now when it comes to questions and i've asked you several here is there a question you receive you dislike getting asked dislike yes something you can't stand to answer perhaps maybe it's a repetitive question something is always repetitive yes could be from your base or strangers asking you this honestly i don't think i have a specific question i think i don't like dumb questions like when you when you know when somebody just say something you'll be like what the fuck is you talking about like what are you talking about that's when i start getting pissed off but it's not a specific question it's the dumb ones like the obvious the oblivious when they just i mean not oblivious the obvious and the yeah like yeah just curious there and speaking of your base do you a name for this base of yours um sometimes i know people refer to them as fans supporters this that sometimes they have a custom name for them yeah definitely supporters i don't have a name for my clan yet but um definitely supporters now when it comes to your supporters wondering if they have ever asked you this uh when it comes to questions have people questioned your height all the time how tall you are yes all the time i'm five one i feel like that's the average normal size and i'd rather be short than tall i love my tall girlies a lot but me i like being short and yeah so it doesn't offend me and with that height there are you the shortest or tallest female in your immediate family um definitely shortest we're all short everybody's short for the most part so we're all kind of the same size in a way just curious there and what about this okay when it comes to the music industry who's been the biggest person in the music industry that you fell out with but it is since been repaired been repaired yes it's been fixed um someone in the music industry you fell out with um since been repaired i haven't really fell out with too many people honestly and if i did i haven't you know i haven't been repaired so yeah just curious there and uh do you want to ask you this um i don't know if that falls in line here or not but we'll still ask you just in case okay what's the current status with you and lotto um there there just isn't one you know what happened happened and that's in the past but there's just no status just curious there what about this as well go ahead oh no i was gonna say like Recently, nothing crazy. You know, get the flowers and the cute stuff. He did decorate a room for me before and I was super teen. Um, so I would say probably that. And you just, uh, mentioned something that I do want to hone in on, and that is, uh, cards and gifts, okay? Now, obviously on social media, that's something people see a lot of on Valentine's Day. You know, a female will showcase the gift she received, or the guys will show, you know, what they got their female, and so on and so forth. But what is not really ever shown too much, don't know if this is happening, that's why I'm asking, is the card part. Are males still giving cards? Are they still writing cards? Or is it just gifts they're giving at this point? Um, I feel like. Do females like cards? Do they like that sort of thing in 2026? Or what? What's going on here? I feel like, I feel like everybody's different, okay? Like, everybody is more, I mean, some people are more, like, they want more materialism. Like, that's more what they like. Some people like the thoughtful stuff. Some people like both. Like, you know, I ain't knocking it either way, but I'm just saying, like, sometimes people, I feel like, they get discouraged because they don't want to do nothing because they think it's got to be this or it's got to be that, you know? Like, it don't have to be that. Like, if you can't do that, it's okay. Like, it's the thought that's going to count with her. Like, make her feel special. You know, get her gifts, too, if you can. Like, she still want gifts. They always want the gifts. If you can do it, well, yeah. Just didn't know what you thought about the card portion.
