The speaker reflects on personal memories, family heirlooms, and emotional connections, expressing how certain objects—like a father’s Lacoste sweater—hold deep sentimental value even if they are not seen as valuable by others. They share a heartfelt moment of self-discovery when realizing a song they love was not by Jack Antonoff, which shifts their perception of the music and deepens their emotional connection. The conversation touches on vulnerability, particularly when they admit to calling themselves “very stupid,” which is corrected by a flight attendant, leading to a personal growth moment of self-awareness and confidence. The speaker is excited yet nervous about joining *Dancing with the Stars*, emphasizing authenticity, fun, and personal growth over performance. They value comfort, practicality, and durability in everyday life—like Quince sweaters—over fast fashion, and highlight how simple, meaningful gestures—like sharing a blanket or a song—create real human connections. The episode blends humor, vulnerability, and emotional insight, showing how personal identity, memory, and self-expression are shaped by both small daily choices and unexpected life moments. Ultimately, the speaker finds strength in authenticity, connection, and the courage to embrace imperfection as a path to genuine self-discovery.
I guess when you when you when we have sponsors like the quants that come in and I have my quince sweaters you know like that's mean that like every time I wear it someone comes to me I want to keep it forever it's so comfy I want more of them you know but I don't you know I don't need more sweaters that I'll have for a long time until someone kind of prize it for my cold dead hands I'll have that quince sweater are you not are you done no I've I've moved on okay that will like I'm thinking about like all the stuff that I still pull out of my parents closet like this is sick you know like my dad's old like lacoste sweater or and then there's like a whole kind of holes in it and stuff and I'm using I've had that since like we lived in Hawaii like when I was in the military and I'm like that is so cool even though my mom is an anti-horter she like gets rid of memorabilia yeah things from my childhood I'm to say why are you throwing away a picture of me you know will we have things to pass down to our Ken I was about to say do you see a bunch a bunch of little Fitbies one day wearing quince I would hope so unfortunately I have a surplus of no vibe checks on Saturday's merch that no one bought so that's what they'll be wearing that's cute I don't have anything like I wish I owned like a precious piece I don't have anything precious to pass down you know what's weird is to you it's not gonna be precious it's gonna be like a Ralph Lauren sweater yeah or lacoste like my dad what's so weird is the sweater that I was talking about is just a crew neck gray feathered green neck which like I'm just like that is so cool and he's like yeah I don't give a shit about that but like to me I'm like that's precious to him it was probably like an expensive lacoste sweater right so to you it'll be a brand new piece that's that's good quality maybe maybe vintage that's already I'm saying I have very few good quality things which I want to change yeah and I'm gonna change once I get that organizing service yes and I'm gonna just say throw out everything like fast fashion vibes yeah because I'm doing capsule I'm transitioning the capsule yeah applaud applauding you right now in my heart thanks these pants are linen and I'm for audio I'm quotation marking in the air because these if you were to lie to match near me would catch flame I can't do pants like that and real linen because they're they it's just so wrinkly they get so wrinkly yeah I think it's part of the you know I say it's part of the look and then I'll get something dry cleaned which I've just started really leaning into dry cleaning sure and then I'm like oh wait they weren't supposed to look like they've been bald up in my glove compartment right no I I don't it doesn't look good on me I think that some people look good in wrinkled clothes but not me speaking of don't say that I have something to say yeah you know the song edge of the earth by the beaches yeah one of my favorite songs on this planet I've become obsessed with it since it was an off-campus and I've been listening to it every day on repeat for months and months and months this morning I got my shit rocked when I learned that it this was not Jack Antonoff's band bleacher Jack Antonoff is not the lead vocalist it's an amazing group of lesbians yeah I had the whole time I thought Jack Antonoff was singing that can be fun no I really prefer it this way no can be fun to find out yes I find out find out someone you didn't know is a lesbian is now lesbian I so much prefer the transition to lesbian from Jack at Antonoff to lesbian imagine you think you're walking into a room to sit with Jack Antonoff and it's a group of five lesbians would you not be like school yeah I won so now I get to listen to this song through a completely new lens like rediscovering my favorite song and so I'm really happy about that I broke that's awesome and then I was thinking about how I was like oh I'm so stupid and that's something I recently said on a plane to a flight attendant I was in the wrong seat and she let me know and I said oh sorry I'm very stupid because I was just looking out like when you say that even though like other people I know don't say that about it because I don't mean it like I'm just like sorry I'm just you know just like joking she got down on a mouth got down on an eye level level she now got down eye level she goes I don't I don't want to hear you ever say that again about my beautiful friend and I said I'm sorry I won't and she goes I want to hear you say it right now I'm smart it was literally like the health like I'm smart and I'm beautiful and I had to say I'm smart I'm beautiful in front of my home row yeah it was pretty damn humiliating so I'm gonna stop saying I'm very stupid I like do you have to do I think it's so funny I like it personally there are not gonna I'm gonna stop saying it in public it is I mean there are I mean that's I just saw the sticktuck of this woman that there was a young woman I think it must be an influencer she was doing her like routine and she was in first class she had one of those like nice rooms like at the pot at the other pod and she's like do you make up in a flight it came up like off camera and was like I have to share something with you part of my job is I receive messages and I deliver these messages and it was a very cosmic and some people are put on earth to and I think at that point she was like let me change this young woman's life moving here forward unfortunately like for me she just ruined a really funny joke that you do but like I know she meant well no I have a that was like that was fine it was it was but like I I struggle with nothing more than like when I'm making a joke and some and like people are like I'm really sorry that happening or something like that like that is just like not what I wanted yeah you know you find out really quickly though yeah it's good to I mean it's good to know what you can't say to others yes like I haven't gone in my purse exactly okay okay shifting gears yeah um you're not on dance with the stars are you rock what what I'm sorry what no it's fine yeah how cool is that I mean just like like can you can you like what I know I know can you take us back to the beginning what's the beginning like I guess just like how you found out like like how does it happen like we have really like a cool opportunity to have the inside scoop here like do you apply for it I'm getting trouble on what I can no well that's a thing I they feel like we always caught yeah that's a thing I think people don't get is that there's no there's no tryouts sure you don't submit a tape you are and you were invited to come on and and that's also the thing is like like POV what was your reaction when you were invited to come on dancing with the stars in an email no it was it it was a phone call and that came up last after discussing like a bunch of logistics and then I was like this seems like stuff that you would discuss if you were receiving an invitation and then at the end I was like all right thanks for the call it was like it had already been in the talks yeah we were I mean we're chatting about travel and and scheduling and things and then you know because if you remember right I was signing a new lease in New York I remember yeah and now I live in LA I like that yeah no it's fun like you make a plan and who's laughing yeah but you're you're by coastal now yeah fully fully I mean I fully live here yeah and I laugh yeah in death I know yeah in death I think it will be quite a while I think it will be for the foreseeable future based on the experiences I'm having in rehearsals we're just really crushing it yeah Riley the coolest girl in the world obviously like like I was I was hoping it would be her I like I like everybody but like she's just so cool and so so sweet so yeah it's so fun we have so much fun that I like actually we have to dial it back and I have to be like okay I need to stop doing jokes when we're gonna be like half an inch from each other's face yeah yeah you kind of have to get like sensual with it you just how you're it's just part of the dance to be like really so it's very sensual there was one time where she's like I have to take a break I'm sorry I was like what she's like you're breathing like this yeah I'm exhausted we're like really like how many hours a day are you are you hitting the rehearsal three okay three four yeah I guess like truly after that it's like my I can't do anything else yeah do you feel yourself getting stronger physically oh not yet okay but um we're getting so like I mean she's already got it obviously but like I'm getting better which is cool I haven't like I think since college truly since college consistency and like learning and getting better it's something has not been I guess like stand up I don't know if I was getting I don't know if I'm getting better though like it's kind of been I'm sorry I like I'm looking at you and I'm like you're un dancing with the star I'm like I can't it's like it's feeling really and it's it's it's insane no and and do you realize that makes you a star by definition yeah yeah you are star no no hang on I know like this is crazy this is insane Connor I I would consider like my co-host is a star I can't get into allo gym my
- My co-host is a star, I can get on Raya. Like, you're a star. - Okay, no, I'm a wild card edition. - It doesn't mean you're a wild star. - 'Cause I can, they have a lot to lose with me coming on. I have nothing to lose. I'm broke. Remember last week I was like, I put a reminder of my phone to lean in and everything. When you guys see this, just know, I'm in my mind leaning into this full speed ahead. I am doing every part of this that I'm not holding back, so. - I think Cassie was the smartest decision that they could have made, and I'll tell you why. - Yeah, please. - Well, one, you're gonna be incredible, and like a fan favorite. And two, the BNC community. - Yeah, we'll ride it, Don. - Well, briefly before. - Like, no one else's community is that engaged. Like, every single listener that we have will be voting. - I know, yeah. - So like, that's so much engagement. Like, they really went ahead and looked at the engagement here of our family. And they're, it's gonna, I think it will really work out. - I hope so. Can you tell I got really nervous when you brought it up? My butt is clenching. - Your clenching? - Yeah. - Like, how are you feeling about like the live TV aspects of it? - That I feel fine about because of standup. It's so weird. Like, the audience part doesn't freak me out. The TV is kind of like object permanence. We're like, I will see the camera. I don't see everyone in their houses, you know? You don't, I can speak from my two minute experience of the day show. Like, it doesn't, you don't make the connection. It just feels like doing a podcast. Like, you don't make the connection. - And I have, it's being blasted out. - I have nothing to do. And obviously they make the show look really good. So like, I've been listening to your song over and over again. I'm getting all the beats down in my head, driving here. I only, it was a 30 minute drive here. I listened to it every, the whole way. Over, sorry, over, as soon as I get to the end. So I'm getting every single beat like, ingrained in my brain, and then going to dance as we go here. Like, my whole life right now is dancing with the stars. - You are, your life is dance. - I moved to LA. - Life is dance. - You are, do you, like, I'm sorry, like I can't, I have been like so floored about this corner. - I know. - And I'm very excited to tell my family. - I do, I'm nervous though. I just truly need everyone to know like, how much I'm putting into this. What are you most nervous for? - Just like stand up, I'm nervous to miss a step and have it affect, like Domino, affect the rest of the dance, but we have-- - Riley won't let that happen. - No, she leads, which is so cool. And we're getting, we're getting to the point now where it's like more about, you know, I mean, I don't know how much I can show, but it's like really putting the details into the dance. Yeah, the oomph, but it's great. It's so, so fun. And it's been like so rewarding already to see. 'Cause the expectations, you get this. Like, you start with like so much in front of you that you're like, how will this ever come to fruition? And then the next day, when so much has come to fruition, you're like-- - It's hard to imagine what would be used to be. - You keep moving the goalposts for yourself, you know? - Yeah. - So it's good. I'm very excited. I'm like not nervous about skill level and performance anymore because that was my biggest fear, but we have gotten there and Riley such a good coach that like, I feel so fun now. - I'm nervous about that. - I never from one second questioned skill level. Like, I know that you can dance. I have always said that you can move your body. - It's so, the point of this whole thing is to have fun. I want everyone to know I am having so much fun. - I also think it will be really fun. Like, for people to see you be serious. Like, you can't be like, you're not gonna be cracking jokes up there. - No. - You will have a like, like a serious stoic face. - It's very, you will be taking, you're gonna be serious for the first time broadcasted. - I know. It's earnest. - It's gonna be very earnest. - It was requested of me. - It was vulnerable. - To be earnest? - Very early on. No, from my team, a team that we share. Try to be earnest. You know, 'cause like, it's very easy for me to slip into like, - It is. - Like self-deprecate. - Right. - I'm so stupid. - I get it. - I'm so stupid. - You're talking to someone who's very, very stupid. - I know. - We're both very stupid. And so, one thing I've never had an issue with is like, memorization and hitting. - Yeah. - Brookie, you know what? Hit me like a ton of bricks. - What? - On like this first or second day, my lack of theater kid isms that I have in my body, which like, it's crazy that not having the experience of a theater kid, which like, immediately once you are released from the grip of high school and your small town, like, that becomes a really important skill depending on where you go. I don't, I don't. - I'm gonna say if you could go back in time, would you be a theater kid? - 100%. I tried early and then Texas, I played football. - Yeah. - Where did that get me? - That sucks that you felt that you had to do that. - I know. Anyways, I'm fighting an uphill battle because of my, but luckily standup came to me. - Yep. - But like, it's, it's really great. And the other contestants. - I was gonna say, have you met them yet? - I've met every, but I'm not kidding when I say that like, could have been me because I was shoving my foot in the door. I'm hugging every single person on set. I'm seeing Jackson Huck, Jenna Huck. Tyler Cameron and I hanging out, going to launch talking. He's getting me on my protein goals, my like macros. - I didn't know you were doing protein goals in macros with Tyler Cameron. - Yes, Sierra and I talking about, where, what time are you going in? What time are you practicing? - To family. - Yeah. - Do you feel like you have like a click? - No, everybody is like, so supportive and cool. As or French, my new best friend. - I mean, as your brother. - It's great. Everyone's just been so cool and so kind. It sucks that I'm gonna have to like, kill them all, you know? I feel like everyone I meet lately is trying to be smarter with money. My self included, cashback here, coupons and points there. But why does it take so much effort? We all just want to make our money work a little harder. - I totally agree, Connor. I love a good deal. But if I actually have to hunt for one or go out of my way to activate a coupon, I've already checked out. - Yeah, well, Brooke, I think I found one you'll actually like. Prime for young adults. It's actually pretty genius. It's a prime membership for 18 to 24 year olds that actually makes prime feel like it's built for you. - All right, you've got my attention, Connor. But what's the catch? - What if I told you there isn't one? I'm talking about 5% cashback on eligible purchases and categories of beauty, apparel, electronics, PCs and health and personal care. - You're telling me this whole time I could have been getting rewarded for the purchases I already make? And with no catch? - Exactly. You're not changing your shopping habits. You just get rewarded for them. And the best part, the cashback is automatic. No coupons, no activation, no extra steps. - Now that's the kind of reward I can get behind. No extra work, just getting rewarded for the life of Marty Living. - Talking about prime for young adults, 5% cashback, 100% made for you. - I'm talking about that. If you're up to 18 and 24, check out prime for young adults and start earning cashback on the purchases, you're already making. Prime for young adults is only available for 18 to 24 year olds terms apply. Okay, I have to stop right here, stop in the name of love. I have to thank a sponsor of today's episode, article. I've been really trying to make my space in my new apartment feel more put together. There's a number of ways you can do this. And my old place here, and I figured out right when I was like kind of on my close friends being like, can someone take this arm wall? - Right. - This cheapo arm wall, which actually was not worth the resell. If someone could pick it up, I was very, very happy because it was cheap and it felt cheap. And I wanted pieces in my adult life that feel elevated but lived in. And that's what led me to article. - I had been looking into getting a new bed 'cause my cats scratched up my current one. - Yes, yes, yes, yes. - And article had so many options that felt modern, but still really timeless. That was not a reality until-- - And is this based off of what you think you can bring in terms of personality or skill level? You think you can say that in this space. I think it's important to say that. 'Cause look how far it's gotten us. - Oh yeah, I do. - To manifest. - I know, it's scary. 'Cause that'll be really funny to look back at. - Like eliminated night one. Do you see myself making it to the top five? - Top five of the first out.
I'm so proud, I'm so, you should be so proud and excited. This is the coolest thing in the world. And this is the coolest thing that's ever happened to me, like this happening to you. Like it is just. - What's weird is like this happened and then it took me like one full week of rehearsals to be like, oh my God, wait, there was no onboarding, you go first day right into your rehearsing, the dance. So like there's no, there was no like packet you get with like a lanyard that's like, here's your, you're on the dance with the stars, like here's, when you, you know, it's just like you are in and the cameras are on and they're rolling or you're mic'd up and you go and you start dancing. And like, so it took a second for it to be like, oh, we're doing this and this is the, this is not Hot One's Jr. - Right. - You know, we're like, I went and it did Hot One's and I was hungover and like my eyes just fallen. - For Hot One's Jr. it's you dancing with the stars. - Hot One's Jr. you know, this is like, this is not like, this is like the real one. You know, so that freaks me out. When I looked, I was looking in the studio and I was like, that says the answer to the stars, like this is the TV show, the answer to the stars. - I'm so, like, I just like, I'm freaked out. - I know, I'm very freaked out. - I'm so, I'm just so excited. Who is your family gonna come? Like what's, are they gonna like live here? What, like where? I don't, I don't really know, I really think there is. - Where was their spot? - They're assuming they're gonna live with me, which is confusing, 'cause I'm in a one bedroom. - Yeah. - But they will bring Max, so that will be nice. - And I will finally meet your family. - Yeah. - Who I've never met, which is insane. - That is so bizarre, 'cause they, you know, like both of our family's sex, I've met your family several times of state of your house. But like, my parents, like, bro, tell brook, bobo, bobo, bobo, like, what does brook think, bobo, brook, brook, brook. And I'm like, oh, it's weird when you bring up that they haven't met. It's so crazy. - Well, yeah, you will, you'll meet them, and you'll come to shows. - You'll meet them in the bathroom. - Can you believe, last year when we were watching Dill behind that pole, and now you're gonna, you're gonna be on-- - Hey, behind that pole, on the other side of the pole. - On the other side of that pole, on the floor, and I'm going to be in the Friends and Families section. (laughing) - Oh, I'm gonna quif this sucks. - No, it's amazing. I'm just, I'm so, like-- - Quif? - I really, like, I wasn't this excited, when I, like, got my book deal. Like, truly, I'm being, like, as much as that was an amazing thing, like-- - They say, like, what a weird year, what a crazy year we're having. - So, this is just, like, I can't, bro. - In a hell of a year. - Can we call Sisu? - You really want to call Sisu, too? - I think that she'll, like, die. - Okay. - Is that fine to do? - Yeah. - I don't think she'll answer. - She didn't see TV yesterday? - No, she did not see the TV yesterday because she, I don't think she has cable, but she's gonna have to get it. - Brooke? - Sisu? - Hiya. - Hi, my love. - Hi, sweetheart. How are you? - Good. I have something so fun to tell you. - Tell me. - Here, I'm passing you to Connor, because it's really his news. - My hair. - Hi, Sisu. - Hi, precious. How are you? - How are you, darling? - I'm good, sweetheart. - How are you? Are you well? Are you doing well? - I'm doing okay. I've been dancing a lot. - Oh, yeah? Where? - In the studio for Dancing With The Stars. - Excuse me? - Yeah. - Are you serious? - Yeah, I got it. I landed Dancing With The Stars. - Oh my God. Are you putting me on? - No, I'm not putting you on. I'm putting you off, even, maybe. - I can't. - Connor, that is freaking unbelievable. - I know. You have to come to a show, or at least we have to get you locked into the channel. - Wait a second. When is this going to be on? - September 14th. - I'm putting it on my calendar. How did this happen? - God, I don't know. - Wait, did you go for an audition? - There was no auditions, no, they reached out. - I know. - Connor, that's like, I can't. (laughs) - Isn't that insane? - You guys are over the top. I can't, there's no fucking words to tell you. - I mean, Connor, I can't. I really can't. - Thank you. - Connor, I can't wait to see you. - I'm just kidding me. - No, no, no, no, I'm not. I'll send you the pictures. - I'm dying here, I can't live there. - Oh, it will be so fun. - Oh my God, you'll do so well too. You better win that thing. - Oh, I'm gonna shake my freaking butt off. - So they just reached out to you to do it? - Yes, I planted some seeds, but other than that, I think it was just an act of God, no doubt. - Connor. - I know. - No, I can't. - I'm gonna probably must be beside themselves. - Oh yeah, my mom almost crashed her car. (laughs) - Oh my God, well that is like the best freaking news. - Oh, okay, we'll have to have you, you have to make the trip out here at some point. - Oh my God, I don't think that's happening. - Oh. - You gotta get Bob to drive you. - Bob will drive. - Bob across the country, are you kidding? - You'll just have to, you'll take a long nap, one long nap and you'll be here. - How many hours is it really to drive? - I think it's probably 27 hours. - That's not bad. - Which like, if you take like the right pill, that's one long nap. - Yeah. (laughs) - Oh my God, I don't have the right drugs. - Between Brooklyn and Hollywood. - Where are you guys? - We're in LA, we're in Hollywood. - Oh, you're home. - Mm-hmm. - Okay, counter, like I'm having trouble believing this. - I'm gonna send you photos. - Send me photos, I need to say. And I am just so over the moon for you and my darling, Brookie. - Me too, I feel the same way. - I won't get on it, Susu. - I just love you both so much. - We love you. - Oh, I love you so much. And good luck and you know I'm gonna be watching. - I know, thank you, Susu, I love you. - Oh, I love you too, Connor. And Brookie, I love you so much. - I love you. - Okay, I love you. We were just talking about you yesterday, me and my mom. - Aw, love you guys. - Connor, this is kind of. - This has been my reaction, like it's like, it's just crazy. - It's like hard to believe, really. - I know. - I know it. - He's on National TV. - He's on, he's sitting in the nation, yeah. - It's crazy. - It's so crazy, does mom know? - No. You're the first, you're the first in our family. - Well, I'm the honor, believe me. - Yeah. - It's so hard. - We love you guys so much. You're just so, you're so amazing together. You're working and I just can't. - We love you. - Well, I love you both and I'll be watching. And Connor, you're gonna take it. - Come on, knock on wood for me. - I am, you're gonna take it, I know it. (laughs) - Take that trophy. - Okay, I sure hope so, mirror ball. - You made my day. - Thanks for telling me. - Love you. - Love you, Sue. - Love you guys. - Bye. - Bye. - Bye. - Love, love. - Sweet girl. She's so sweet. - I mean, like, it really is just like unbelievable. - Do you think she does when she hangs up the phone? Do you ever think about that? - I think, like, I'm being honest right now, I think she's probably sobbing. - Yeah, like you hang up the phone and then, like, next thing to do. - Next activity? - Yeah, I will never. Sue, Sue, to me exists in the memory of us going to get food. - I know, that's my favorite. - Broken Izzy are at Sue, Sue's house. Are we at my mom's house? - Mom, pop up house. - So, Sue, she'd come over. She's like, I'm gonna go get something to eat. And I was like, I'm pretty hungry. And she's going to a health food store. - Right. - And I was like, I would like to go to a health food store. 'Cause Sue, Sue, is the picture of health. - Right. - Just like, and that's how I wanna look. - Right. - I'm gonna go wherever she eats. We had like-- - Sue, she's kind of, I think she's just 80. - What? - No. She might be 79. - Really? - Yeah. - Wow, my grandma. - I think 80. - My grandma having 15 plus years on your great aunt is very crazy to me. - Well, my mom and pop up are not 80. My mom is like 76. - Oh my god. My grandma is 20 years older than your grandma. How was that possible? 'Cause they had my mom when they were 18. - Oh, okay, so Mimi is the same age as your, as my mom and pop up. - How old's Mimi? - 75. - Yeah. - 76. - Exactly. - She had my mom at 16. - Yeah, that's perfect. - Bless her heart. - Bless her heart. - Yeah, I was like, did I tell you that sort of about like, we were like, why is mom's middle name or like my aunt's middle name like Jones? It's like the last name. She's like, I was 16, I don't know. - Yeah. - Like that's,
Like think about what you were going to at 16 and then like you want a middle am I don't Carpet egg. I don't know that's who cares 16 Think about the stuff you did at 16 like having having it affect Honestly, I think I would have been a better mom when I was 16 than now I'm being genuine like I could like look after myself then Now I'm just like something drops on the floor. Okay. It'll be there for very very very long time Broke anyway continue the cuz cathartic feeling of picking up like a hair tie That's been on like a ground in your kitchen like what kind of underneath where the cabinet goes like this Like next to the floorboard What's it called? Not the floor board The thing that like kind of that thing on the side of the wall there that like kind of come that white part Oh, I don't know what that's called crown molding on the ground of the molding sure my parents It's such a huge fuss about like we need to clean the molding tomorrow. I'm like, okay Yeah, why don't we clean the molding now? I don't need any attention to the molding my molding is really dirty you have molding Yes, it's so dirty. Oh rich wet cat food generational wealth. Yeah, I think I yeah in my apartment. It's really old. Oh Pardon do you want to keep going with the health food story you're gonna call it? Yes, the health food story so Susu's going she has this massive truck like huge massive huge beast of a truck. Was this when she was doing the G wagon? Or was it yeah, it's a G wagon, but it is like lifted like it's like the most absurd Like Scott Disick would drive this it's like the biggest and I'm upset. Susu is the size of a can She's this big yeah, and I'm like don't even know how her feet hit the pedals She's going and she's going we're pulling out of a cul-de-sac she's going 140 miles an hour I'm like oh and I was quiet and I was white knuckling the door handle and like I'm just like I do have to let go on like odd because like I do trust Susu I think that she was blood sugar zero She was blood sugar zero and like needed to get to the grocery store so like we got there by the grace of god I almost was like do you want me to drive because this I'm scared sure luckily the grocery was like 10 five minutes away six minutes away And we get there and like We're waiting and we waited in this long line to order. I think a sandwich some sort of like salad sandwich line and it's at the front of the grocery and there's a huge line of people like it's I think it's one PM so people are like off work getting lunch and She wait I had this I had look you can see the menu while you're in line, so I'd like to study what I want and she gets there and she's like Oh, I have not looked at the menu. There's 19 people behind us like and she's looking at the menu hmm Well I know Three minutes at least like I'm 60 seconds 120 seconds and I'm going sorry you can go in front of us And she's like no, I'm about to do it. I don't let them skip it. It's fun about to put my order They're down with my order my order sitting at the cash register and finally five three minutes and she goes I'm gonna get something else. Yeah, I was like oh She leaves I lose her in the grocery store and she's gone going on she comes back She got bean dip and a fork like she's gonna eat the bean dip. That's her meal I think she was pant like genuinely probably pantaking. I know I was trying to help her. I was like I let me get whatever you need Yeah, she also like Her like what she eats like doesn't necessarily make sense to like what anyone else would put in their body I am fascinated by the human body and what other people like what different people put in their body all day and how like Resilient the body is to be able to just be like this look good. Yeah, I'm not sure how she fuels how she gets fuel But she say she's fueled regardless. So that woman is pushing. Yeah Pushing pee. Yeah, so Anyway, I love her to death. What did push and pee mean? I've never heard that. Yeah, push and pee push and pee Push and pee comma push and pee. I've never heard that period What is pushing pee mean? Pushing pee or pushing pee Is a slang term that means acting with integrity Okay, cool. Okay, acting with integrity. Stank true to yourself displaying success like a true player Player pee for player. I'm pushing pee. Yeah, I like that. Yeah. I'm leaning in and I'm pushing pee. I got confused you said it so convincingly Is there anything else dancing we need to cover? I wouldn't know the difference Okay, you would eat that's what I'm saying I would never put on any there's a secret there's a secret There's a secret move. I have up my sleeve that like I displayed jokingly and There's potential it might be added to our dance and displayed jokingly I displayed jokingly and is it like hammy? Apparently it was it was it was very skillful. Yeah, and it's something that I've been able to do since I was a child Is it like worm vibe? No Um, I want that's all I'll say because I don't know for what we know when we see it. Yeah, yeah, okay. Yeah, you will Um, but no, I want to ask something. Okay, are you gonna have to go shirt off? Not yet, but eventually I don't know It hasn't been added. I don't know anything about the like the the technique for having sure enough besides it being like a pop moment Yeah, but like I think that I will be able to I will be able to hold my own without having to show my tits. Yeah, yup The one I picked has a really neutral color that works with basically any home So it feels like such a safe gift without feeling boring It actually makes this space look pretty put together. Yeah, I mean I got that gene from my mom We're like I can only have the action pieces that are like tan white brown On the other hand hunter got the tiger print That's on his cat. So you really there's like
- Like a star one and a tiger one. - Mine are blue and green, which are like neutrals of the color space. - Neutrals of-- - Neutrals of color. - Of your home. - Yeah, I like color. - Yeah. - But they're like pastel. - I would like to see them. - Okay, come over. - I will say that I was on someone's close friends the other day and like an influencer that works with Lola and on their close friend, they're like, there is genuinely nothing in the world like being on my couch with my Lola like it wrapped around me and I was like, this is like, you should put that on your real story. You could probably get some work. But the quality, that goes without saying, it's unreal, it's made with this incredibly soft, luxury faux fur and it has this signature, a little bit stretched to it. You have to feel it to understand. But it's machine washable, it doesn't shed, it doesn't pill, it's made to last. - True. - Whether you're there watching movies together, hosting friends or hanging out on the couch after work. It's one of those gifts that becomes part of their daily life. - It also has over 20,000 five-star reviews, so clearly we're not the only one obsessed with it. You already are, but it's going to be crazy. - It's been six weeks since you looked at me. What does that mean? It's a song. (laughs) - Is it? - It's been, thanks, thanks. Is that the song? - I've never heard that. I thought you were genuine. - Yes, you have. - No, it's been six weeks since you looked. Wait, can we check what song that is? It's been, thanks, thanks, man. (humming) - Are you feeling more fit or less fit? - Yeah, definitely. - That's the best time I saw you. - Yeah, I go to the gym still when I get back from a rehearsal. - Uh-huh. Are you kidding? - No. - I have no need for that. You guys don't understand that I canceled every other thing outside of what we'd already committed to before this. - Yeah. - Everything has been, except for calls and meetings, stuff that like, I can do it between, cleared. - Can't hold. - Cleared. - You've cleared. - For me to put my whole body into this competition. And I'm going to do that. It has only been one week since you looked at me, not six weeks. Okay, bear naked ladies. - It's been, it's been one week since you looked at me. (humming) - Wow. - You've not heard this? - No, but I could not do dancing with the stars because I would not agree to be in a leotard. - You don't have to be in a leotard. They're all in gowns and dresses. - No, they, or they are a lot of them are in like, ice dancers, like kind of like leotard with their thighs out. - You can-- - I'm not doing thighs out. - You can do whatever you feel like you call the shot. - I could be in a gown. But it always, it obviously flips up always. Like I don't want that part of my body out. - You get to call the shot. - No, but you know, when like if you're in a gown, like you're always getting dipped and flown around and like I'm sure I'd be tossed and turned. Like I don't want any of that on TV. You know what I mean? - Yeah, the same reason I'm like, I'm leaving my shirt on for now. I don't see the need to take my-- - I'm excited to shirt off tonight. - Hopefully it's at the end. I'm scared I'm gonna have like high school level nightmares about this for like the rest of my life. - You might, and that's fine. - I'm already kind of like-- - This is something that will like stay with you for the rest of your life. - Yeah, it's bouquet. - This is like, when you look back on your life, it'll be like that's when I was on dancing with the star. - Yeah. - Did you watch Dancing With The Stars as a Kid? Like that imagine going back and being like, you're going to be on that. - Okay, yeah, we watch it like growing up. - Yeah. - 'Cause that was when, and this is crazy, like I'm sure there are people listening to this podcast that will be like, what do you mean? But it was just on in my house when I'd get home from school, like soccer practice. Like I'd get home and dance with it. It was dancing with the star. There was no Netflix or anything. It was just like you turn the channel and it's on, and then you go pee during commercial. I jump over the back of the couch, run to the pee. - It's back on. - Run back, jump over the couch, sit. - Who was the first celebrity to end Dancing With The Stars? The first star. - Good one. - I'm a little bit nervous that like people, we'll listen to this podcast from finding you on Dancing With The Stars. - Yeah, so that's why I'm implementing a couple changes, moving forward. - On the pod. - No, just, I'm gonna, I have a whole deck I made. - Personality rebrand? - No, no, no, not personality rebrand. This is true, this is me, I'm pushing pee. And what else? Oh, I'm leaning in. This is true, this is me, I'm leaning in, I'm pushing pee. - That sounds like this is real, this is me, I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. - Yeah, I changed it. - Yeah. - Just like I'm gonna be changing some-- - What are you changing? - I don't know. - Let me know. - Yeah, I'm going to, I've already, yeah, I emailed you. - Okay, let me know because I'm scared that it's gonna be like a lot of like people who-- - Won't really understand the gun in my purse? - Totally. - Yeah. - Yeah, so that'll be interesting, something to think about. - We will survive, we will be okay. - Yeah. - And if anything else, we won't. And then like, I'll see you like at some point. - Right. - Wow. - Down the road. - Kelly Monaco, I don't think I know Kelly Monaco, but she was the first star to end dancing with the stars. - She's known from general hospital. Did you go watch general hospital? - Yeah. - No. - Yeah, yeah. Oh, Kelly. - Okay, who was the second star to end dancing with the stars? Drew Lache, I remember that. But sometimes I got, Drew like, no, I guess Drew wouldn't be a good example of like, having an advantage. But like, some of the stars, I'm like, you have such a clear advantage. Like, Charlie D'Amelio, like, you're a dancer. - Yeah, that's why it's about more than, you know, it's like a 360. - It's a 360. It's like, who has what it takes to be the next American idol? Like, it's more than-- - Growth. - Growth, growth, and charm. - You think you're gonna grow as a person? - I hope they grow in height. - But do you think you'll grow as a person? - Yes. - You have dancing shoes? - Yeah, I brought, so my first week of practice, I busted the heels out of both shoe, so plural. I busted this, I had to get a new pair, like, five days in. And Riley was like, so now you understand what I say, you should not be on your heels at all during this dance, that's what I meant. Like, the shoes don't even built for you to be on your heels. You need to be on your toes the entire time. So you can like be, 'cause you're not ever stopping, you know, you're just like, flowing to the next thing the whole time, and then you can't like, spin or like dip or anything if you're on your heels. It takes like an extra half second to like move forward. - You can't believe you're on dancing with the stars. - Yeah. - Have they started like filming you? - You film every single day. I don't know how they go. - So you've done like, confessionals? - Yeah. - Oh my god. - The confessionals are me being like, that's just awesome. - So you've like talked about, you've been like, hey, like I'm Connor, like, talked about your backstory where you're from and, whoa. - Yeah, it's gonna be really fun. I can't wait for people to see this. - I September 14th. - Yeah, or 15th, I don't remember. - September 14th or 15th. - I like, I'm beside myself. - It's gonna be lit. - September 15th. - September 15th, sorry. - I'll text you, Sue. Oh, it's two night event. - Yes. - Are you doing two dances? - No, that's, 'cause there's 16 dancers now. - Yeah. - So there's a lot of us, so they're splitting. - Got it. - So there's gonna be two, which is very scary. Do you know which night you are? - I don't. - Yeah, but. - Wow. - I will. - I can't. - Maybe I do. - I can't, like, the, like, this is just, like, it's really just. - You're gonna die. You're gonna die. The cool part for me is, like, I told him, when I say I'm leaning in, I told him, let's go over the top of costumes. Let's go over the top of the dance. Like, anything you guys want me to do, I will do. I'm not holding back. Like, I don't have a body of work that would prohibit me or hold me back from leaning in full throttle. And I'm curious to see how that's received by people that don't know who I am. - But you want to throw yourself across the floor. - Yes, I'll do anything. I'll wear anything. I'll sing. I'm figuring out if I'm gonna take my shirt off. - I'll do anything. - Take my shirt off. - I'm leaving my top on. - Yeah. - I don't know. That's my skill set. That's what I'm bringing to is that, like, I'm willing and able and I'm a DAB. I'm a down-ass bitch yet. - Wow. - This isn't me. - DAB here, I'm pushing P, I'm true, and I'm real and I'm me and I'm leaning in. We should do because we posted some of the-- - Oh, yeah, we asked for advice. I told you we were gonna spend most of the time talking about dancing. - All right, so last week, we have to do the advice. We asked people to submit. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We asked people to ask advice. We don't ever do the advice thing. - I know. - 'Cause I feel like we don't feel-- - Well, we're not qualified to be giving it, but we can try. We'll add up, I think, instead of us giving advice, we'll give an opinion on your situation. - Yeah, I like that. - Yeah. - Do you wanna start with the voice memos you got or something like that? - Yeah, we could try, so I tried the voice memos because I thought that it'd be fun. And when you play the voice memos, when people submit them, you can do other stuff while you listen to them. So I'm gonna try that. - Yeah, I'm gonna start. - But, oh. Oh, I was listening to them on like two.
act. That's fine. Okay. People will appreciate you acts. This is like a two-fer. Okay. So I'm going to play the first one. Okay. And then I'm going to read the second one. Okay. Okay. I need advice. I have a guest room in my apartment and a friend of mine is about to end his lease and is looking for a new place, but doesn't yet know where he's going to go. And so part of me wants to invite him to stay in my guest room, but then I'm worried he's just going to take that as an invitation to move in and sort of continue to look for a place. And I'd like to keep my guest room as a guest room. So what do I do? Do I invite him to stay for a little bit and say, yeah, you can stay for only for a week. Do I just don't want to come over? Let me figure that as we go. What do I do? So he has a guest room. It's open. What's weird about giving people an inch or giving a mouse a cookie or giving a mousse a knuckle is that they will take a mile depending on their character. I was going to say it depends on the character. Like if you know your friend will take the mile, I would not even offer it as an option. Personally. Yeah. My thing now is like, I want to be very clear with you. This is like, and you can joke and you can like deliver it jokingly. You can't live with me just so you know, like we can do max like two weeks. Yeah. And you could always pull the like, I love you so much. Like I've never had a good experience like with a roommate. And like wouldn't want that to affect you. You could all want that. And then you could also be like, I love you so much that I wouldn't offer this to anyone else. I'm offering it to you on a short term basis. And you have to leave at this point. I think if you just lay it all out there, you have to leave. And then a week out, be like one week left, just heads up. I hope you have a place lined up. Yeah. I would also maybe say like, you know, like to them, like you'll figure it out. Like you won't, like you won't ever be homeless. Like worse comes worse. You can crash with me for a few days. I'm saying that as someone who, I'm saying that as someone who least ended fired from my job and Austin moved into Hunter's House for one year. Yeah. But he was like, like when I was leaving, he's like, oh, no. Well, I'm moving to LA. It's like very sad. He liked the company. And I guess he had a whole house. So like the bedroom that I was in was not like that imposing on him. And he was on like a different floor. Yeah. But my, she was the kitchen. Like I want to go use a kitchen and it be my kitchen. And like, I'm using the pans and like, I'm in a rush. I leave and there's eggs still on the pan. You don't want to roommate. And that's, we need to like, that's completely fine. And that doesn't make you about. I just realized I've done this twice. Yeah. COVID. I loved it. Kinsey's Beach House. Oh, come on. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was, you were that friend. And I would say I'm, I would be in this person's position, in which case I would like offer it like as a, and I wouldn't even offer it. I would be like, you will be fine. Like you always, you'll figure it out. You always see a worse come source. You can always crash with me for a few days. I would say, I know worse comes to worse as different meanings or different folks though. Worse comes to worse could be like, all right, just like, I don't, I haven't found anything that I like really love yet. But you found a place. I would hope that your friend would understand worse comes to worse. Like that's worse case scenario. You could stay with me. Like that. If someone told me worse comes to worse, you can stay with me. I'd be like, God that part. I'm leaving tomorrow. Yeah. That's what I would do. Yeah. I also like open up. If I was the person, we haven't heard the other, the other person hasn't even like technically asked to stay with this person. Right. I wouldn't offer. That's, I would, you could offer. I wouldn't offer, but I would put it on the table like as, yeah, as like a backup. Because I'm like, I don't think that like obviously I would never in a million years let my friends be home. I would let my friends stay with me. But like, I'm just putting myself in the position of this person imagining like, I don't want to roommate. I think that's totally fine. When you lived in LA and I didn't have a place that you were like, it's time for you to find a place. Yeah. Yeah. It was. It was. It was. It really was. It was. It was. I was about to buy you a new couch so that it was more comfy for me to sleep on. And then I was like, let me get an apartment. I can just buy a couch for my own apartment. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That was a crazy time. Wow. Thanks can change. Things can change. Look at you now. No. I mean, by coastal. Fully driving up from Orange County every Thursday to like hang out. What are we doing? It's disgusting. Yeah. Oh, that freaks me out. Yeah. Thank you very nervous. Yeah. I also want to say it on the friends part. At any time, I'm asking someone for a favor. I'm like, you can shoot me in the head if I'm if I'm ever upsetting you. Yeah. And please say no. I'm begging you to please say no. Can I stay with you? That is a dumbest question in the world. Like, I know that's stupid. I know you hate me. I know you'd rather pass away or me pass away. But like, if I could say it with you, that's how you started it. You do. You do. I'm the world. I'm your mortal enemy, an enemy. And I get that. But could I? I think just ask. Can I say with you? I don't. I like setting it up like that. Okay. So that they know that like, I'm very, very self-aware that like, this is an imposition to you. And they hate me. They obviously hate me. Sure. Anyways, here's the two for first. But how do we like, in some, I would not offer in some, I would offer and be like, I don't have it in me to do this for anyone else. I'm doing it for you on a short term basis. I love you to death. I wouldn't wait till I was asked explicitly. Unfortunately. Okay. I haven't read this other part, but I just like the beginning. Yeah. This is from the same individual. Who is a really cool name, by the way, but I'm not. I can't. It's like too private. Do you want to hear it? Yeah. We'll have to bleep it. Uh-huh. Oh, cool. I like that a lot. Me too. It's like superhero. My brother's ex-wife is now in a thruple. Yeah. When she apparently started seeing this guy when the split up, maybe much, wait, she apparently started seeing this guy when the split up, maybe much sooner knowing he was married. His wife found out and apparently was chill with it, so they have their family time as a party of three sister X law. I'm like having trouble. I can't follow this. I know. Does however have another boyfriend on the side who she lives with because who knows why he doesn't know about the trouble. This isn't going to work for me right now. I found out about this because my sister X law, someone spilled the beans to my mom who then told me and my brother, good luck to you in your family. Like genuinely like what are you talking about? I'm not. Or congratulations. Yeah. Are you responding? Oh, okay. I have some. Okay. Me too. Okay. Do you want me to give you one? There's so many. Okay. Boyfriend cheated on me with a sex worker. I'm changing some of the language here. Yeah. Boyfriend cheated on me with a sex worker at a massage parlor. What do I do? This caught me thinking like is it better or worse for the cheating to happen with the sex worker than it is to happen? Would you actual like emotional connection with someone? And then I think there are pros and cons each. Like, yeah. Would you rather your person cheat on you with like Adam massage parlor? Like kind of just like one and done? Yeah. Or with somebody they'd feel like. I don't even know if I would call him a sucess sex worker because that's just like a bonus. This person used the language prostitute Adam massage parlor. So I don't think that they have happy endings for women at massage parlors, right? Like if you went to a massage parlor, you're like finish me off. I think this is her boyfriend. I know. I'm just saying like you can't relate to going to a massage parlor, which is like. Oh, no, I don't. I think it does happen. I think it's probably a lot more rare. Yes. Women are probably a lot less inclined. Well, you're not going to get a bone or getting a massage. Right. I will. I won't ever get a massage because I don't like people talking. I think you're going to be like, I won't ever get a bone or no. You won't. But in my opinion, I mean, wait, what was the question? What was the end of it? What was the actual really good question? Yeah, the emotional piece would be what do I do? Yeah, I don't know. How does she know? I don't know. I don't have. I don't know. I wish we could call her. Yeah, I want to go. But like I almost rather you like cheat on me like because you have feelings for someone else and like this is over. Like I would almost rather that than like why the fuck would you even do this? Like I'm not like I'm not giving you what you need that much that you need to seek it out of the massage parlor. Like for what? I'd almost rather you like lose something for a reason. I'd almost rather someone do it for a reason than just cause. I need to know how she got that. Like this almost feels worse. Really? Not worse, but it's almost more like what? It's almost more confusing because at least you have an answer if someone is like cheating on you because they have feelings for someone else. And for me, that's over, right? You know what I'd really like. For this, it's like why did you do what? Why did you do that? I have gotten massages where like the individual grabs my penis. And I'm like hang on. No, no, no. Actually, yes. I promise. Like the actual penis part of it. My fuselage. Yes. You've gotten massages in it's a woman massaging you where she grabs my shaft of my head. Yeah. And and then what? I am to like shy. No, no, no, I have never had this happen. Oh, you have not had that happen? No, no, no, no. I'm there strictly like for me. It's a we I am not. Did you grab your penis or not? Yes. Several times. This is happening. Okay. And it's like no, I'm okay. You say I'm okay. Yeah. I'm getting in and out of it. Like I'm there for a massage. How do you move forward with the rest of the massage? There's different levels of pleasure for me. If I'm in a massage, the levels of my levels of pleasure. This is like Dante's Inferno.
- Oh, but good. - Walk us through the levels of pleasure. - My level of pleasure is like, if I'm there for massage, I do go in for painful massage. It's because I'm like, I'm paying money. I wanna have a result here. I'm not here to relax. If I was relaxing, I'd be on my couch watching Instagram Reels. I'm in a massage. We're making progress at the massage. I'm with this knot out of my back. I want some, my hip flexor. I wanna work with my hip flexor. I don't want a hand job. - Okay. - I wanted a hand job. I'd go elsewhere. - Where would you go? - I don't know. - Name the top five places you would go if you wanted a hand job. - Okay, my top five places to get a hand job in cancun. (laughing) I, just like it's just like it's-- - Country city. - It's a ship, it's a ship of gears for me to go from like that to that. I would like to talk to, and I have a lot of friends that, well not a lot, I don't have a lot of friends that go to massage. - I have a fuck ton of friends that go to the, to massages for pleasure. - I've heard stories. You know, you know one person that received this. - Who? - Well, yes. - No. - No. - Yes. - That's on purpose? No. No. - Yes. - No. - Yeah. - No. - So people do do this, and it obviously that was beyond meaningless. It was like a, so like your question is, would you seek out sexual pleasure outside of the home because you're not getting enough, and I don't think it's like a not getting enough thing. I can't speak to that situation. - Like what could, like that to me, like not being able to understand the reason? - Cause guys are just horny. Like it's like a, like a horny, I don't know. I don't think that there was like, malin tent, but obviously that was like not cool to do. I don't know. I just, I don't know. I don't know the answer here. - So what's your question? Was what do I do? - What do I do? - I'm so good. - Like have him winmo you $100. But like if you love him, then like big, I don't know. I don't know. - I can touch it. - I should pay you money for sure. He should, he should. - I would have to, I'm thinking. - It's not tip for 10. - I'm thinking like, oh he's a 10, but. - He's a 10 but he went to the massage parlor and got a hand. - That's like really bad to me. - Yeah, it's like. - I think I would have to say. - Sayonara? - I do. - Really? - I don't, it's like hard. I know it's very different when you're in the position of being. - I'm also not vouching for the young man that got the hand job. - We understand. - At the parlor? - We understand. - This is what I'm worried about when we're in the bars. - Like they're gonna come on and hear about hand jobs in the parlor. - No, people do, like this is like a trope and not a trope. It's something that happens in like freaking, like, like, freaking. - It's a trope. - No, like, the what's the Vince Vaughn movie that I love? - Couples or treats? - Couples or treats. - Happens there. - I know. - You know, like, and he's like, I want to get a hand job. And like, he has that there and because he's, they're not having sex in their marriage. - Right. - You know, he's like, I might as well just get a hand job here. So like, that's tough. That's truly, like, I'm unhappy in my-- - Right, I would need to, I would have to get to the root. - Yeah. - What do I do? - And it's like, here's what you do. - I think, get to the root. - I think, I think that's the-- - Here's the, here's the, here's a double entendre. - Yeah. - The double edged sword. If you go and you say to the young man that you live with or they like that, if they're shoes, and you go, are you unhappy? Like, am I not giving it? And then he's like, no, it's meaningless. And then he's gonna try to make you look crazy potentially. It'd be like, it's meaningless. Like, why would I-- - And if you tried that, then it's break up. - Then it's break up, yeah. - I think you need to have, have like the most serious conversation you've ever had in your life. - Yeah. - And like, we need to get to the root. - I'm like, you need this disgusting pig. - We need to get to the root. - You had to go to massage envy for a hand job. - I don't know, I don't know. I don't know what it's all about. - Wait, can we look up if they give hand job massage envy? - I don't know what goes on. - Because I have, I had a friend that went to massage envy for a very weekend. - Man or woman. - Man. - Oh. Okay. No massage envy does not offer hand jobs or any other sections. - Okay. - Why is massage envy so popular? Anyways. - Okay. I have one that I, yeah, I think you really need to get to the root. I have one that I wanted to do. This one is an important conversation to have. - Okay. - My 29 year old girl bestie is dating a 23 year old boy and I find it weird. Thought. - Sorry, say it again. Thought. - 23. - Girl older. This is something I've been thinking a lot about recently as everyone like in the celebrity space is now younger than me. And also I've just found myself like being attracted to younger men. Like where's the line? - I don't think that's weird. - 29 just 23, girl older. - What was the girl? For what 23 is feeling really on? Let's see, 24 does that feel better? - Yeah. I think any closer to the age would feel better. Yeah. What are you saying they both age? So 30 and 24 feels weird. - Think about 30 and 24. - That feels weird. - Let's think about 30 and 25. - Feels okay. - So it's like where's, how do you figure that out? - 23 does feel young now that I've said 25. - 23 for whatever reason. I think if we start dating younger as 29, 30 year olds, whatever, I think we need to, I think they need to be 24. - I think whatever reason 24, the roundness of the three is two. - I agree. - Like round baby face. Like it's a round number, round equals young. 24 sharper edges or a sharper. I think you can do 29 and 24. And he might be 24 shortly. - Yeah. - While she's still 29. That's only a five year difference. You wouldn't blink if a man was doing that. - No, which is weird. - Actually, I think the answer is, would you blink if a man was doing this? Would you blink if it was a 29 year old man and a 23 year old woman? - That's my first thing I would have been like, no. - I might blink. - You might? - I might blink, but I would not blink a 24. - Right. 'Cause you're at a college, you could be, you know, like working in the same industry. I think, when we start with going much younger, I think we start at 24 for whatever reason. - I don't think that this is like an in-dit because the young man-- - No, I don't think it ended. I think, and I also think it's case by case. - Well, this is also the roommate asking about her friend, right? - Yeah, she's just saying she finds it weird. And it's like, is, what's the vibe on this? Like, am I? - I'm angry. - Who's this? That you're listening to? - For whatever reason I'm saying, like, it does feel weird and it's because of the roundness of the three that I'm agreeing with you. - Sure. - But once he turns 24, it's completely fine. That's my thought. - I'm fine with it, I don't know. - You're fine with 23 and 29? - Yeah, I mean, I don't know the intricacies. If you keep these in the relationship, there's a power dynamic or something. - Right now. - Okay. - I think that's hot. - What are you listening to? - No, I just thought that was funny. - Oh, thanks. - So, this young woman, this young woman wrote in and said, "Advice and thoughts on this situation." Was on a dating app and he asked what I was looking for? This is what I said, and this is what he said, he was looking for. - Okay. - He's very attractive and seems like my type. Very classic, he's a 10-butt. - Yeah. - She said, "Hey, trustworthy, kind, emotionally intelligent and communicative are my top things. What are you looking for?" He said, "That's good." Someone smart, funny and loyal. I also like farts too, to be honest. So I want someone that'll let me sniff their farts. What are your thoughts? - Like, no. - Just throwing that in there with funny, smart, loyal and I'd like to sniff your farts. - Like, obviously, like, like, block. Like, I don't think it's even a question for me. - Yeah. - Try to say-- - 'Cause like, if he's trying to be funny, like, that's not, that's pretty damn cringe. And if he's being genuine, like, that's really hard to hear on the first hinge message. - Second. - Second hinge message. - I have, I want you to try to play devil's advocate. I just, like, really want to, I just want to see where you go. - I'm-- - That is a real message by the way that we received from someone. I'm not like-- - Can you try and play devil's advocate? - I'm not like-- - Can I see it? - Make sure, yeah. - Like, can fool. - I, honestly, it's seeming like someone took his phone. It seems like Tristan took his phone and set that. - Okay. - Like, it's that out of no-- - It's, earnestly. No, I mean, that's kind of like, hey, this is what I'm, I just want to be honest is what I'm, and I'm obviously, I'm on your side here. - Yeah. - I just want to-- - You like the honesty? - I want you-- - No, no, no. - As a devil's advocate, I'm saying. - No, you have to do devil's advocate. - I can't do devil's for this. Like, there is no devil's. Unless you're into that. It seems like you are genuinely open this person. - So you're talking about me? - No, no, no, no. - It seems like the person who submitted this, submitted this, if it's even a question, like, they're like, what do I do? You know? So it might, it honestly might not bother her that much, in which case, if that doesn't bother you-- - Okay. - And he's a 10. - Yeah. - Then, sure. 'Cause like, for me, it's like, I'm not even asking for advice on this, 'cause it's like-- - Psh, yeah. - Yeah. - But if this is something that you're actually like, huh, and he's a 10? - I have two things that I wanna raise. One, there is some science behind like, when you meet your match, you are attracted to their BO. I don't know about farts, I don't know anything about farts, but like, they're BO. So like, it's not like, he's, oh, this is gross. It's not like he's like, up close and personal, when it happens.
It could be just like a Dutch often situation that you both could share. So you're asking, you're saying she should ask for more information? If you like him, yeah, like why? Why? Yeah, like imagine you're in a relationship and you're like, we still don't fart in front of each other. That sounds horrible, your stomach probably hurts. Imagine you find this person, it's like, date one. We are blowing off some steam. Date one, we went to Benny Hanna's and the record right home was very free. I could play devil's advocate here and say as someone with a bad stomach, like this could take a lot of anxiety away. Yeah, sure, he might not even have a bad. He's not asking you to reciprocate. I'm saying I do. Yeah, no, he's not asking reciprocation. He's saying this is real, this is me. I'm pushing P. Like imagine if this was Tristan that received that DM. Because like he's just like always shooting. So like that would be amazing for him. What does it bug you that this person is like sexually inclined by? I almost think the problem here for me is not that he is into farts. It's that he expressed that fairly immediately over him. He's well, no, I'm doing devil's advocate. He's probably been turned away after he's developed. He's like, I just need to get this out. Yeah, like wouldn't make me as I am or not. Yeah, really if you could be, you get pretty far in it. I really like this person. Oh, I have this deep dark secret that like I can't get past myself. But this is truly something I'm interested in. And this is like a maker break for me. This is how I'm happy. See, probably just ripped the mandate off. If we're not interested next, next, next, next, next, next. This person has an open mind. Get under this fitted sheet with me. You seem really convinced that it's a Dutch oven situation. And I worry that it's not that. We, the thing is we won't know. Yeah. So. Okay, well, I mean, I hope that helped. To be a hot box. Yeah, okay, we are over on time. And thank you guys for listening. Like, sorry, we ended that way. That is the advice that people that listen to this podcast and so it's not something that we made up. I appreciate the honesty because your profile pictures and names are attached to those things. Yeah. Please don't write in and tell me about something that like would implicate me into a felony, which happened several times for some reason. Like, I'd appreciate that you guys feel safe. But like, now I'm a part of it. So just please don't do that. And then a lot of people exploring straight woman exploring gay stuff. So good luck to all those women as well. I have like six of those.
