You’re Not On Dancing With The Stars Are You?

The speaker shares a heartfelt and reflective journey of personal growth, excitement, and vulnerability. Being unexpectedly invited to *Dancing with the Stars* is a pivotal moment, sparking both joy and anxiety as they prepare for a high-pressure, emotionally intense experience with partner Riley. The journey highlights their commitment to authenticity, humor, and emotional honesty—seen in a moment of self-deprecation on a flight that turns into a meaningful connection with a flight attendant. The narrative also explores deeper values: a love for quality over fast fashion, the emotional significance of family heirlooms like a father’s Lacoste sweater, and a renewed appreciation for music and personal identity. Through these experiences, the speaker transitions from self-doubt to confidence, embracing the idea of living intentionally and pushing boundaries—both in performance and in personal relationships. They also celebrate personal connection, noting how simple acts—like sharing a laugh or a moment of vulnerability—create lasting bonds. The episode culminates in a celebration of resilience, authenticity, and the joy of living fully, even in uncertain or unexpected circumstances.

[Music] I guess when you, when you, when we have sponsors like the Quint that come in and I have my Quint sweaters, you know, like that's something that like I, every time I wear it someone compliments me, I want to keep it forever. It's so comfy. I want more of them, you know, but I don't, you know, I don't need more sweaters. That'll, I'll have for a long time until someone kind of pries it for my cold dead hands. I'll have that Quint's sweater. Wait, are you not, are you done with that? No, I've, I've moved on. Okay. That will like, I'm thinking about like all the stuff that I still pull out of my parents closet. I'm like this is sick, you know, like my dad's old like lacoste sweater. And then there's like a whole kind of holes in it and stuff. And I'm using, I've had that since like we lived in Hawaii, like when I was in the military. And I'm like that is so cool. Even though my mom is an anti-horter, she like gets rid of memorabilia. Things for my childhood. I'm to say, why are you throwing away a picture of me, you know? Will we have things to pass down to our kin? I was about to say, do you see a bunch, a bunch of little Fitbees one day wearing Quint's? I would hope so. Unfortunately, I have a surplus of no vibe checks on Saturday's merch that no one bought. So that's what they'll be wearing. Oh, that's cute. I don't have anything like, I wish I owned like a precious piece. I don't have anything precious to pass down. You know what's weird is to you, it's not gonna be precious. It's gonna be like a Ralph Lauren sweater. Yeah. Or lacoste. Like my dad what's so weird is the sweater that I was talking about is just a crew neck gray feather grunek, which like I'm just like that is so cool. And he's like, yeah, I don't give a shit about that. But like to me, I'm like, that's precious to him. It was probably like an expensive lacoste sweater. Right. So to you, it'll be a brand new piece. That's good quality. Maybe, maybe vintage. Right. That's already. That's what I'm saying. I have very few good quality things, which I want to change. Yeah. And I'm gonna change once I get that organizing service. Yeah. And I'm gonna just say throw out everything like fast fashion vibes because I'm doing capsule. I'm transitioning to capital. Yeah. Applaud. Applauding you right now in my heart. Thanks. These pants are linen. And I'm, for audio, I'm quotation marking in the air. Because these, if you were to like to match an air, me would catch flame. I can't do pants like that. And real linen because they're, they, it's just so they get so wrinkly. Yeah. I think it's part of the, you know, I say it's part of the look. And then I'll get something dry cleaned, which I've just started really leaning into dry cleaning. Sure. And then I'm like, Oh, wait, they weren't supposed to look like they've been balled up in my glove compartment. Right. No, I, I don't, it doesn't look good on me. I think that some people look good in wrinkles clothes, but not me. Speaking of don't say that, I have something to say. Yeah. You know, the song edge of the earth by the beaches. Yeah. One of my favorite songs on this planet. I've become obsessed with it since it was an off campus. And I've been listening to it every day on repeat for months and months and months. This morning, I got my shit rocked when I learned that it, this was not Jack Antonov's band. Bleacher. And Jack Antonov is not the lead vocalist. It's an amazing group of lesbians. Yeah. I had the whole time I thought Jack Antonov was singing. That can be fun. No, I really prefer it this way. No, it can be fun to find out. Yes, I find out so much prefer. Find out someone you didn't know as a lesbian is now a lesbian. I so much prefer the transition to lesbian from Jack Antonov to lesbian. Imagine you think you're walking into a room to sit with Jack Antonov and it's a group of five lesbians. Would you not be like school? Yeah. I won. So now I get to listen to this song through a completely new lens. It's like rediscovering my favorite song. And so I'm really happy with that. Brooke, that's awesome. And then I was thinking about how I was like, oh, I'm so stupid. And that's something I recently said on a plane to a flight attendant, I was in the wrong seat and she let me know. And I said, oh, sorry, I'm very stupid. Because I was just looking out. I like when you say that, even though like other people like, don't say that. I don't mean it. No, like I'm just like, sorry. I'm just, you know, just like joking. She got down on a mouth, got down on an eye level. She knelt. She knelt, got down eye level. She goes, I don't, I don't want to hear you ever say that again about my beautiful friend. And I said, I'm sorry. I won't. And she goes, I want to hear you say it right now. I'm smart. It was literally like the health. Like I'm smart and I'm beautiful. And I had to say I'm smart. I'm beautiful in front of my whole world. Yeah. It was pretty damn humiliating. So I'm going to stop saying I'm very stupid. I like do what you have to do. I think it's so funny. I like it. Personally, they're not going to, I'm going to stop saying it in public. It is, I mean, there are, I mean, that's incredible. I just saw this TikTok of this woman that there was a young woman. I think it must be an influencer. She was doing her like routine and she was in first class. She had one of those like, nice rooms like at the end of the pod. And she's like, do you make up in a flight? It came up like off camera and was like, I have to share something with you. Part of my job is I receive messages. And I deliver these messages. And it was a very cosmic. And some people are put on earth to, and I think at that point, she was like, let me change this young woman's life moving here forward. Unfortunately, like for me, she just ruined a really funny joke that you do. But like I know she meant well. No, I have a, that was like, that was fine. It was, it was what it was. Like I struggle with nothing more than like when I'm making a joke and some, and like people are like, I'm really sorry that happened to you or something like that. Like that is just like, not what I wanted. Yeah. You know, you find out really quickly though. Yeah. It's good to, I mean, it's good to know what you can and can't say to others. Yes. Like I haven't gone in my purse. Exactly. Okay. Okay. Shifting gears. Yeah. Um, you're not on dance with the stars. Are you? What? What? What? I'm sorry. What? No, it's fine. Yeah. How cool is that? I mean, just like, like, can you, can you like, what? I know, I know. Can you take us back to the beginning? What's the beginning? Like, I guess just like, how you found out, like, like, how does it happen? Like we have really like a cool opportunity to have the inside scoop here. Like do you apply for it? I don't get in trouble on what I can. No. Well, that's a thing. I think we can always cut. Yeah. That's a thing. I think people don't get is that there's no, there's no tryouts. Sure. You don't submit a tape. You are, and you were invited to come on. And that's also the thing is like, like POV, what was your reaction when you were invited to come on dancing with the stars? Was it an email? No, it was, it was a phone call. And that came up last after discussing, like, a bunch of logistics. And then I was like, this seems like stuff that you would discuss if you were receiving an invitation. And then at the end, I was like, all right. Thanks for the call. It was like, it had already been in the talks. Yeah. We were, I mean, we're chatting about travel and scheduling and things. And then I was like, huh, you know, because if you remember right, I was signing an release in New York. I remember. Yeah. And now I live in LA. I like that. Yeah. No, it's fun. Like you make a plan. Who's laughing? Yeah. But you're, you're by coastal now. Yeah. Yeah. Fully. Fully. I mean, I fully live here. Yeah. In LA. Yeah. In deaf. I know. Yeah. In deaf. I think it will be quite a while. I think it will be for the foreseeable future. I hope so. Based on the experiences I'm having in rehearsals. Say more. We're just really crushing it. Can you say who your partner is? Yeah. Riley. Riley Arnold. The coolest girl in the world. Obviously, like, like I was, I was hoping it would be her. I like everybody. But like, she's just so cool and so, so sweet. So, yeah. It's so fun. We have so much fun that I, like, actually, we have to dial it back. And I have to be like, okay, I need to stop doing jokes when we're going to be like half an inch from each other's face. Yeah. You kind of have to get like, sensual with it. You just have your, it's just part of the dance to be like really stoic and very sensual. There was one time where she was like, I have to take a break. I'm sorry. And I was like, what? She was like, you're breathing like this. I don't think, yeah, I'm exhausted. We're like, really like how many hours a day are you? Are you hitting the rehearsal? Three. Okay. Three, four. Yeah. I guess like, truly after that, it's like my, I can't do anything else. Yeah. Do you feel yourself getting stronger physically? Oh, not yet. Okay. But we're getting, like, I mean, she's already got it. Obviously, but like, I'm getting better, which is cool. I haven't like, I think since college, truly, since college, consistency and like, learning and getting better at something has not been, I guess, like, stand up. I don't know if I was getting, I don't know if I'm getting better though. Like, it's kind of been. I'm sorry. I, like, I'm looking at you and I'm like, you're on dancing with the star. I'm like, I, it's like, it's feeling really insane. Do you realize that makes you a star by definition? Yeah. Yeah. You are a star. No, no, hang on. I know, like, this is, this is insane, Connor. I would consider my co-host as a star. I can't get into Allo Jim. My - My co-host is a star, I can get on Raya. Like you're a star. - Okay, no, I'm a wild, I was a wild card edition. - Doesn't mean you're a wild star. - Which I like, which I like. - Your wild star. - 'Cause I can, they have a lot to lose with me coming on. I have nothing to lose. I'm broke. Remember last week I was like, I put a reminder of my phone to lean in on everything. When you guys see this, just know I'm in my mind, I'm in my mind leaning into this full speed ahead. I am doing every part of this that I'm not holding back, so. - I think Cassie, you was the smartest decision that they could have made and I'll tell you why. - Yeah, please. - Well one, you're gonna be incredible and like a fan favorite. And two, the BNC community. - Yeah, we'll ride it Dawn. - Well, briefly before. - Like no one else's community is that engaged. Like every single listener that we have will be voting. - I know, yeah. - So like, that's so much engagement. Like they really went ahead and looked at the engagement here of our family. And it's gonna, I think it will really work out. - I hope so. Can you tell I got really nervous when you brought it up? My butt is clenching. - You're clenched? - Yeah. - Like how are you feeling about like the live TV aspects of it? - That I feel fine about because of standup. It's so weird. The audience part doesn't freak me out. The TV is kind of like object permanence. We're like, I will see the camera. I don't see everyone in their houses, you know? - You don't, I can speak from my two-minute experience on this today's show. Like it doesn't, you don't make the connection. It just feels like doing a podcast. Like you don't make the connection and it's being blasted out. - I have nothing to do. And obviously they make the show look really good. So like, I've been listening to your song over and over again. I'm getting all the beats down. In my head driving here, it was a 30 minute drive here. I listened to it every, the whole way. Over, sorry, over as soon as I get to the end. So I'm getting every single beat like ingrained in my brain. And then going to the dance as we go here. Like the whole life right now is dancing with the stars. - Your life is dance. - I move to LA to dance. - You are, do you, I'm sorry, like I can't, I have been like so floored about this corner. - I know. - And I'm very excited to tell it, to tell my family. - I do, I'm nervous though. I just truly need everyone to know like how much I'm putting into this. - What are you most nervous for? - Just like stand up, I'm nervous to miss a step and have it affect, like Domino affect the rest of the dance. But we have. - Riley won't let that happen. - No, she leads, which is so cool. And we're getting, we're getting to the point now where it's like more about, you know what I mean, I don't know how much I can show. And it's like really putting the details into the dance. Yeah, the oomph, but it's great. It's so, so fun. And it's been like so rewarding already to see. 'Cause the expectations, you get this. Like you start with like so much in front of you that you're like, how will this ever come to fruition? And then the next day, when so much has come to fruition, you're like, my next, you keep moving the goalpost for yourself, you know? - Yeah. - So it's good, I'm very excited. I'm like not nervous about skill level and performance anymore because that was my biggest fear. But we have gotten there and Riley such a good coach that like, I feel so fine now. I never for one second questioned skill level. Like I know that you can dance. I have always said that you can move your body. - It's so, the point of this whole thing is to have fun. I want everyone to know I am having so much fun. - I also think it will be really fun. Like for people to see you be serious. Like you can't be like, you're not gonna be cracking jokes up there. You will have a like a serious, stoic face. - It's very, like you will be taking your serious, you're gonna be serious for the first time broadcasted. - I know, it's earnest. - It's gonna be very earnest. - It was requested of-- - It was vulnerable. - It was requested of me. - To be earnest. - Very early on, no, from my team, a team that we share. Try to be earnest. You know, 'cause like it's very easy for me to slip into like, - It is. - Like self-deprecate, like I'm so stupid. - Hey listen man, I get it. - I'm so stupid. - You're talking to someone who's very, very stupid. - I know, we're both very stupid. And so one thing I don't, I've never had an issue with this like, memorization and hitting. - Yeah. - This, Brookie, you know what? Hit me like a ton of bricks on like this first or second day. My lack of theater kid isms that I have in my body, which like, it's crazy that not having the experience of a theater kid, which like immediately once you are released from the grip of high school and your small town, like that becomes a really important skill to ping on where you go. I don't, I don't wanna say if you could go back in time, would you be a theater kid? - 100% I tried early and then Texas, I played football. - Yeah. - Where did that get me? - That sucks that you felt that you had to do that. - I know. Anyways, I do, I'm fighting an uphill battle because of my but luckily standup came to me. - Yep. - But like it's really great. And the other contestants. - I was gonna say have you met them yet? I've met everybody, I'm not kidding when I say that like, could have been me because I was shoving my foot in the door. I'm hugging every single person on set. I'm seeing Jackson Huck, Jenna Huck. Tyler Cameron and I hanging out, going to launch talking. He's getting me on my protein goals, my like macros. - I didn't know you were doing protein goals in macros with Tyler Cameron. - Yes, Sierra and I talking about what time are you going in? What time are you practicing? - Your family. - Yeah. - Do you feel like you have like a click? - No, everybody's like so supportive and cool. As or French, my new best friend. - Do you see yourself making it to the top five? - Yes. - Oh my God, Connor. - I know. - Wow. - I know. I feel like every one I meet lately is trying to be smarter with money. My self included, cash back here, coupons and points there. But why does it take so much effort? We all just want to make our money work a little harder. - I totally agree, Connor. I love a good deal. But if I actually have to hunt for one or go out of my way to activate a coupon, I've already checked out. - Yeah, well, Brooke, I think I found one you'll actually like. Prime for young adults. It's actually pretty genius. It's a prime membership for 18 to 24-year-olds that actually makes prime feel like it's built for you. - All right, you've got my attention, Connor. But what's the catch? - What if I told you there isn't one? I'm talking about 5% cash back on eligible purchases and categories of beauty, peril, electronics, PCs, and health and personal care. - If you're telling me this whole time, I could have been getting rewarded for the purchases I already make. And with no catch? - Exactly. You're not changing your shopping habits. You just get rewarded for them. And the best part, the cash back is automatic. No coupons, no activation, no extra steps. - Now that's the kind of reward I can get behind. No extra work. Just getting rewarded for the life I'm already living. Talking about prime for young adults. - 5% cash back, 100% made for you. - I'm talking about that. If you're up to 18 to 24, check out prime for young adults and start earning cash back on the purchases you're already making. Prime for young adults is only available for 18 to 24-year-olds terms apply. Okay, I have to stop right here, stop in the name of love. I have to thank a sponsor of today's episode article. I've been really trying to make my space in my new apartment feel more put together. There's a number of ways you can do this. And my old place here, and I figured out right when I was like kind of on my clothes friends being like, can someone take this arm wall? - Right. - This cheapo arm wall, which actually was not worth the resell. If someone could pick it up, I was very, very happy because it was cheap and it felt cheap. And I wanted pieces in my adult life that feel elevated but lived in. And that's what led me to article. - I had been looking into getting a new bed 'cause my cats scratched up my current one. - Yes, yes, yes. - And article had so many options that felt modern but still really timeless. Everything feels sturdy, well crafted, and dotfully designed from the materials to the finishes. It's a kind of furniture that's made to last. Not just look good for a short time. That's what I've been buying furniture for like, for the short time. - Yeah. - It'll make your face smile. And it'll make your face feel instantly more cohesive without having to overthink it. - You can't be face. - I did both. It will make your face smile and it'll make your face feel more cohesive. - Oh, sorry. - I didn't thought I only heard face. - I did both. It will make your face smile. - Perfect. - It's offering our listeners $50 off your first purchase of $100 more to claim, visit article.com/BNC. That was not a reality until. - And is this based off of what you think you can bring in terms of personality or skill level? You can, I think you can say that in this space, like I think it's important to say that. 'Cause look how far it's gotten us. - Oh yeah, I do. - To manifest. - I know, it's scary. 'Cause that'll be really funny until I look back at it. - Like eliminated night one. Do you see myself making it at the top five? - Top five of the first out. - Top five of the first. I'm so proud. I'm so, like, you should be so proud and excited. This is the coolest thing in the world. Like, and this is the coolest thing that's ever happened to me. like this happening to you. Like it is just. - What's weird is like this happened and then like it took me like one full week of rehearsals to be like, oh my God, wait, there was no like onboarding, there's no, you go first day right into your rehearsing the dance. So like there's no, there was no like packet you get with like a lanyard that's like here's your, you're on the dance with stars, like here's, when you, you know, it's just like you are in and the cameras are on and they're rolling or you're mic'd up and you go and you start dancing and like, so it took a second for it to be like, oh, we're doing this and this is the, this is not Hot One's Junior. - Right, no, we're like, I went and did Hot One's and I was hungover and like my eye gets on. - For Hot One's Junior to dance in the stars. - Hot One's Junior, you know, this is like, this is not like, this is like the real one, you know? So that freaks me out. When I looked, I was looking in the studio and I was like, that says dancing in the stars, like, this is the TV show, dance in the stars. - I'm so, like, I just like, I'm freaked out. - I know, I'm very freaked out. - I'm so, I'm just so excited. Who is your family gonna come? Like, what's, are they gonna like live here? - Yeah. - What, like, where? - I don't really know, I really think there's- - Where are their spots. - They're assuming they're gonna live with me, which is confusing 'cause I'm in a one bedroom. - Yeah. - But they will bring Max, so that will be nice. - And I will finally meet your family. - Yeah. - Who I've never met, which is insane. That is so bizarre, 'cause they, you know, like, both of our family's sex, but I've met your family several times of state of your house. But like, my parents are like, bro, tell brook, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, like, what does brook think, ba, ba, ba, ba, brook, brook, brook. And I'm like, oh, it's weird when you bring up that they haven't met. - It's so crazy. - Well, yeah, you will, you'll meet them and you'll come to shows. - You'll meet them in the bathroom. - Can you believe last year when we were watching Dill behind that pole? And now you're gonna be on- - They behind that pole. - On the other side of that pole. - On the other side of that pole, on the floor, and I'm going to be in the Friends and Family section. (laughing) - Oh, I'm gonna cleave this sucks. - No, it's amazing. I'm just, I'm so, like. - Queue? - I really, like, I wasn't this excited when I got my book deal. Like, truly, I'm being, like, as much as that was an amazing thing. - I mean, they say, like, what a weird year, what a crazy year we're having. - So, this is just, like, I can't, bro. - In a hell of a year. - Can we call Su-Su? - You really want to call Su-Su too? - I think that she'll, like, die. - Okay. - Is that fine to do? - Yeah. - I don't think she'll answer. - She didn't see TV yesterday? - No, she did not see the TV yesterday because she, I don't think she has cable, but she's gonna have to get it. - Brooke. - Su-Su? - Hi. - Hi. - Hi, my love. - Hi, sweetheart, how are you? - Good, I have something so fun to tell you. - Tell me. - Here, I'm passing you to Connor, 'cause it's really his news. - My hair. - Hi, Su-Su. - Hi, precious, how are you? - How are you, darling? - I'm good, sweetheart, are you well? Are you doing well? - I'm doing okay, I've been dancing a lot. - Oh, yeah, where? - In the studio for Dancing with the Stars. - Excuse me? - Yeah. - Are you serious? - Yeah, I got it, I landed Dancing with the Stars. - Oh my God, are you putting me on? - No, I'm not putting you on, I'm putting you off, even, maybe. - I can't. Connor, that is freaking unbelievable. - I know, you have to come do a show, or at least we have to get you locked into the channel. - Wait a second, when is this going to be on? - September 14th. - I'm putting it on my calendar, how did this happen? - I got it, I don't know. - Wait, did you go for an audition? - There was no auditions, no, they reached out. - I know. - Connor, that's like, I can't. - Isn't that insane? - You guys are over the top, I can't, there's no, not getting words to tell you. - I mean, Connor, I can't, I really can't. - Thank you. - Connor, I can't, we just need you. - I know. - You're putting me on. - No, no, no, I'm not. I'll send you the pictures. - I'm dying here, I can't. - Oh, it will be so fun. - Oh my God, you'll do so well too. You better win that thing. - Oh, I'm gonna shake my freaking butt off. - So they just reached out to you to do it? - Yes, I planted some seeds, but other than that, I think it was just an act of God, no doubt. - Connor. - I know. - No, I can't. - Connor, your family must be beside themselves. - Oh yeah, my mom almost crashed her car. - Oh my God, well that is like the best freaking news. - Oh, okay, we'll have to have you, you have to make the trip out here at some point. - Oh my God, I don't think that's happening. You gotta get Bob to drive you. - Bob will drive. - Bob across country, are you kidding? - You'll just have to, you'll take a long nap, one long nap and you'll be here. - How many hours does it really? - To drive a car. - I think it's probably 27 hours. - That's not bad. - Which like, if you take like the right pill, that's one long nap. - Yeah. (laughs) - Oh my God, I don't have the right drugs. - Between Brooke and I. - Where are you guys? - We're in LA, we're in Hollywood. - Oh, you're home. - Mm-hmm. - Okay, like I'm having trouble believing this. - I'm gonna send you photos. - Send me photos, I need to say. And I am just so over the moon for you and my darling Brookey. - Me too. I feel the same way. - I want to get on it, Susu. - I just love you both so much. - We love you. - Oh, I love you so much. And good luck and you know I'm gonna be watching. - I know, thank you Susu. - I love you. - Oh, I love you too Connor and Brookey, I love you so much. - I love you. - Okay, I love you. We were just talking about you yesterday. Me and my mom. - Aw, love you guys. - Connor, this is kind of me. - This has been my reaction. Like it's like, it's just crazy. - It's like hard to believe really. - I know. - Oh, I know it. - He's on National TV. - He's on, he's sitting in the nation. Yeah. - It's crazy. - It's so crazy. Does my mom know? - No. You're the first, you're the first in our family. - Well, I'm the honor, believe me. - Yeah. - That's so hard. - We love you guys so much. You're just so amazing together. You're working and I just can't. - We love you. - Well, I love you both. And I'll be watching, and I know you're gonna take it. - Come on, knock on wood for me. - I am, you're gonna take it, I know it. (laughing) - Take that trophy. - I sure hope so. Mirror ball. - You made my day. - Thanks for telling me. - Love you. - Love you too. - Love you guys. - Bye. - Bye. - Bye. - Love love. - Sweet girl. She's so sweet. - I mean, like it really is just like unbelievable. - I mean, she does when she hangs up the phone. - Do you ever think about that? - I think like, I'm being honest right now, I think she's probably sobbing. - Yeah. Like, you hang up the phone and then, on like next thing to do, next activity. - Yeah, I will never. Susu to me exists in the memory of us going to get food. - I know, that's my favorite. - Broken Izzy are at Susu's house. - Are we at my mom's house? So Susu would come over. She's like, I'm gonna go get something to eat. And I was like, I'm pretty hungry. And she was going to a health food store. - Right. - And I was like, I would like to go to a health food store. 'Cause Susu is the picture of health. - Right. - Just like, and that's how I want to look. - Right. - So I'm like, I'm gonna go wherever she eats. We had like-- - Susu's gonna, I think Susu's 80. - What? - No. She might be 79. - Really? - Yeah. - Wow, my grandma. - My grandma having 15 plus years on your great aunt is very crazy to me. - Well, my mom and pop-up are not 80. My mom is like 76. - Oh my God. My grandma is 20 years older than your grandma. How was that possible? - 'Cause they had my mom when they were 18. - Okay, so Mimi is the same age as your, as my mom and pop-up. - How old's Mimi? - 75. - Yeah. - 76. - Exactly. - She had my mom at 16. - Yeah, that's perfect. - Bless her heart. - Bless her heart. - Yeah. So we were like, why is mom's middle name and it's like, are my aunt's middle name like Jones? It's like the last name. She's like, I was 16. I don't know. - Yeah. - Like that's very bad. - Like think about what you were going through at 16 and then like, you want a middle name? I don't, carpet. Like, I don't know. - That's cool. - Who cares? - 16. - Think about the stuff you did at 16. I think I would have been a better mom when I was 16 than now, I'm being genuine. Like I could like look after myself then. Now I'm just like something drops on the floor. Okay, it'll be there for a very, very, very long time. Broke. Anyway, continue. - The cathartic feeling of picking up like a hair tie that's been on the ground in your kitchen. Like what kind of underneath where the cabinet goes like this. Like next to the floor board. What's it called? Not the floor board. The thing that kind of, that thing on the side of the wall there, that kind of that white part. - Oh, white. - Oh, I don't know what that's called. - Crown molding on the ground of the molding. - Sure. - My parents meet such a huge fuss about like, we need to clean the molding tomorrow. I'm like, okay. - Yeah, I don't know. - Why don't we clean the molding now? - I don't need any attention to the molding. My molding's really dirty. - You have molding? - Yes, it's so dirty. - Wow, rich. - With wet cat food. - Generational wealth, you have molding? - I think, yeah, in my apartment, it's really old. - Oh. Pardon. - Do you wanna keep going with the health food story? You're gonna call it. - Yes, the health food story. So Sushi's going, she has this massive truck. Like huge, massive, huge beast of a truck. - Was this when she was doing the G-wagon? Or was it, yeah? - It's a G-wagon, but it is like, lifted. Like, it's like the most absurd, like, Scott Disick would drive this. It's like the biggest, and-- - I'm upset. Sushi is the size of a can. She's this big. - Yeah. - And I'm like, don't even know how her feet hit the pedals. She's going, and she's going, we're pulling out of a coldest egg. She's going 140 miles an hour. I'm like, oh, and I was quite, and I was white knuckling the door handle. And like, I'm just like, I do have to let go on like odd, because like, I do trust Sushi. I think that she was blood sugar zero. - I bet she was blood sugar zero. - And like, needed to get to the grocery store. So like, we got there by the grace of God. I almost was like, do you want me to drive? 'Cause this is, I'm scared. - Sure. - Luckily the grocery was like 10, five minutes away, six minutes away. And we get there, and like, we're waiting in, we waited in this long line to order, I think a sandwich, some sort of like salad sandwich line, and it's at the front of the grocery store. And there's a huge line of people like, it's, I think it's one PM, so people are like, off work getting lunch. And she, I had this, I had, you can see the menu while you're in line. So I'd like to decide what I want. And she gets there and she was like, "Oh, I have not looked at the menu." There's 19 people behind us. Like, and she's looking at the menu. Hmm, well, I know, three minutes at least. Like, I'm 60 seconds, 120 seconds. And I'm going, sorry, you can go in front of us, you can go. And she's like, "No, I'm about to do it." I don't let them skip us. So I'm about to put my order in. - Of course she's about to order. - They're down with my order. My order is sitting at the cash register. And finally, three minutes in, she goes, "I'm going to get something else." And I was like, "Oh, she leaves." I lose her and the grocery store. She's gone, going, going, going, she comes back. She got bean dip and a fork. Like, she's going to eat the bean dip. That's her meal. - I think she was pan, like, genuinely probably panicking. - I know, I was trying to help her. I was like, "I let me get whatever you need." - Yeah. - She also, like, her, like, what she eats, like, doesn't necessarily make sense to like, what anyone else would put in their body. - I am fascinated by the human body and what other people, like, what different people put in their body all day, and how like, resilient the body is to be able to just be like, "This will do, this is fine." - I'm not sure how she fuels, how she gets fuel, but she says she's fueled regardless, so. - That woman is pushing. - Yeah. - Pushing P. - Yeah, so anyway, I love her to death. - What did Push and P mean? - I've never heard that. - Yeah, Push and P, Push and P. Push and P come up, Push and P. - Period. - What does pushing P mean? Pushing P, or pushing P, is a slang term that means, acting with integrity. - Okay, cool. - Okay. - Acting with integrity, staying true to yourself and displaying success, like a true player. - Player, P for player. - I'm pushing P. - Yeah, I like that. - Yeah, I'm leaning in and I'm pushing P. - Yeah. - Bro. - Okay. - Lean in and push P today. - You will lean in and push P for the next. How many months if you make it to the top? - I believe it goes into December. - Into December. - Yes, I'm gonna get an LA driver's license, not California LA. - Are there LA drivers like? - No! - Okay. - What? - Sorry, I'm very stupid. - We're both very stupid. - Sorry, I'm very, very stupid. I got confused. You said it so convincingly. - I know. - Is there anything else dancing we need to cover? - No, I mean, I'm pretty sore. Like my whole body is pretty sore. - I wonder if you'll get dorms. - Sure, I'll probably get dorms. - If you get dorms, you will not be able to dance. - I wouldn't know the difference. - No, you would. - There is a secret, there's a secret move. I have up my sleeve that like I displayed jokingly and there's potential it might be added to our dance. - You displayed jokingly? - I displayed jokingly. And. - Is it like, hammy? - Apparently it was, it was very skillful. - It was very skillful. - Yeah, and it's something that I've been able to do since I was a child. - Is it like, worm vibe? - No. I won't, that's all I'll say, 'cause I don't know if I'll add it. - Well, we know it when we see it and it's got it. - Yeah. - Okay. - Yeah, you will. But no, there's nothing. - Oh, I wanna ask something. Are you gonna have to go shirt off? - Not yet. - But eventually. - I don't know. It hasn't been added. - It's a possibility. - I don't know anything about the technique for having sure enough besides it being like a pop moment. - Yeah. - But like, I think that I will be able to, I will be able to hold my own without having to show my tits. - You can be ready for it. - Yeah. - If it comes to shirt off. - Not yet. - You're gonna get so fit. You already are, but it's gonna be crazy. - Can I take a second to thank a sponsor of today's episode? - Okay. - Rakuten. It's one of my favorites. But the things I know look good, they're comfortable. I can throw them on over and over without getting sick of them. That's exactly what I love about Quince. That's why I need it to get cooler out so I can throw my quince back on. They make elevated everyday essentials. They're actually, they actually feel like they're meant to live in your closet for years. - Quince uses premium materials like Mongolian cashmere, organic cotton, and washable silk. But everything still feels really wearable and easy to style. They're 100% Mongolian cashmere sweaters start at just $50 and they also have premium stretch denim, leather bags, and shoes, and really pretty 14-carat gold jewelry. One of my personal favorites is their Mongolian cashmere crewneck sweater. I feel like I'm constantly-- - What do you think makes it Mongolian? - It must be Mongolian. - The vibe? - Oh. - I feel like I'm constantly reaching for it because it's one of those pieces that makes an outfit look a little bit more put together without me actually having to try to are. - Right, the cooler part is to me from an economical standpoint is that Quince is able to price everything, 50, 80% less than similar brands because they work directly with factories to cut out the middleman. You're paying for the quality of the materials instead of a huge brand markup, right? So it goes way beyond close. They also have hotel quality bedding and bath, kitchen, essentials, and furniture. Wedding season always comes around and I never know what to get people. In fact, good reminder, oh, a couple people wedding presents. Half the registry is already purchased and everything else feels like another kitchen gadget that's just gonna end up in a cabinet. But Lola Blanket is a gift people actually use every single day. - I have one in my living room and every single person who comes over ends up asking about it. They'll sit down, feel it for two seconds, and immediately go, "Wait, where did you get this?" It's honestly become one of those things where I know exactly what I'm bringing to the next wedding because everyone has the exact same reaction. - Yup. - The one I picked has a really neutral color that works with basically any home. So it feels like such a safe gift without feeling boring. It actually makes this space look pretty put together. - Yeah, I mean, I got that gene from my mom where I can only have the action pieces that are like tan white brown. - Neutral. - On the other hand, Hunter got the Tiger print. That's on his catch. - Do you really? There's like a star one and a tiger print one. - Mine are blue and green, which are like neutrals of the color. - Color spin. - Neutrals of color. - Neutrals of color. - Of your home. - Yeah, I know I like color. - Yeah. - But they're like pastel. - I would like to see them. - Okay, come over. - I will say that I was on someone's clothes friends the other day and like an influencer that works with Lola and on their clothes friend they're like there is genuinely nothing in the world like being on my couch with my Lola like it wrapped around me and I was like this is like, you should put that on your real story. You could probably get some work. But the quality that goes with that saying it's unreal. It's made with this incredibly soft luxury faux fur and it has this signature little bit stretched to it. You have to feel it to understand. But it's machine washable. It doesn't shed, it doesn't pill. It's made to last and it's something newlyweds are gonna keep reaching for years and every time they're all cut it up. Guess what, third wheel they're gonna remember you. - True. - Whether you're there watching movies together, hosting friends or hanging out in the couch after work. It's one of those gifts that becomes part of their daily life. You will never, they will never get you out of their home. - They will never. - It also has over 20,000 five-star reviews, so clearly we're not the only ones obsessed with it. Wrap yourself in luxury with Lola Blankets. - It's been six weeks since you looked at me. - Six weeks since you looked at me. - What's this that mean? - It's a song. (laughs) - Is it? - It's been, thanks, thanks, is that the song? I thought you were a genuine. - Yes you have. - No, it's been six weeks since you looked. Wait, can we check what song that is? It's been, thanks, thanks, man. (singing) - Are you feeling more fit or less fit? - Yeah, definitely. - That's the last time I saw you. - Yeah, I go to the gym still when I get back from a rehearsal. - Are you kidding? - No. - I have no need for that. - I, you guys don't understand that I canceled every other thing outside of what we'd already committed to before this. Everything has been, it's kept for calls and meetings stuff that I can do between, cleared. - Can't, cleared. - Can't, cleared. You've cleared. - For me to put my whole body into this competition, and I'm gonna do that. It has only been one week since you looked at me, not six weeks. Okay, bear naked ladies. - It's been one week since you looked at me. (singing) - Wow. - You've not heard this? - No, but I could not do dancing with the stars because I would not agree to be in a Leotard. - You don't have to be in a Leotard. They're all in gowns and dresses. - No, they, or they, a lot of them are in like, ice dancers, like kind of like Leotard with their thighs out. - You can, I'm not doing thighs out. - You can do whatever you feel like you call the shot. - I could be in a gown, but it always, it obviously flips up always. Like, I don't want that part of my body out. - You get to call the shot. - No, but you know, when like, if you're in a gown, like, you're always getting dipped and flown around and like, I'm sure I'd be tossed and turned. Like, I don't want any of that on TV. You know what I mean? - Yeah, the same reason I'm like, I'm leaving my shirt on for now. I don't see the need to take my, I'm excited to shirt off tonight. - Hopefully it's at the end. I'm scared I'm gonna have like, high school level nightmares about this. - You might, you're like the rest of my life. - You might, and that's fine. - I'm already kind of like. - This is something that will like stay with you for the rest of your life. - Yeah, it's bouquet. - This is like, when you look back on your life, it'll be like, that's when I was on dancing with the star. (laughing) - Yeah. - Did you watch, dancing with the stars as a kid? - Mm-hmm. - Like, imagine going back and being like, you're going to be on that. - I can't. Yeah, we watch it like growing up. - Yeah. - 'Cause that was when, and this is crazy, like, I'm sure there are people listening to this podcast that will be like, what do you mean? But it was just on in my house when I'd get home from school, like soccer practice. Like, I'd get home and dance with it. It was dancing with the stars. There was no Netflix or anything. It was just like, you turn the channel and it's on. - Turn, yeah. - And then you go pee during commercial. I jump over the back of the couch, run to the pee. - It's back on. - Run back, jump over the couch, sit. - Who was the first celebrity to end dancing with the stars? The first star. - Good one. - I'm a little bit nervous that like, people, we'll listen to this podcast from finding you on dancing with the stars. - Yeah, so that's why I'm implementing a couple changes, moving forward. - Is it on the pod? - No, just, I'm gonna, I have a whole deck, I may-- - Personality rebrand? - No, no, no, not personality rebrand. This is true, this is me, I'm pushing pee. And what else? Oh, I'm leaning and I'm, this is true, this is me, I'm leaning and I'm pushing pee. - That sounds like this is real, this is me, I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. - Yeah, I changed it. - Yeah. - Just like I'm gonna be changing some-- - What are you changing? - I don't know. - Let me know. - Yeah, I'm going to, I've already, yeah, I emailed you. - Okay, let me know. Because I'm more, I'm scared that it's gonna be like a lot of people who-- - Won't really understand the gun in my purse? - Totally. - Yeah. - Yeah, so that'll be interesting, something to think about. - We will survive, we will be okay. - Yeah. - And if anything else, we won't. And then like, I'll see you like, at some point. - Right, wow. - Down the road. - Kelly Monaco, I don't think I know Kelly Monaco. But she was the first star to end dancing with the star. - She's known from general hospital. Did you watch general hospital? - Yeah. - No. - Yeah, yeah. Oh, Kelly. - Okay, who was the second star to end dancing with the stars? Drew LaShane, I remember that. But sometimes I got, Drew like, no, I guess Drew wouldn't be a good example of like, having an advantage. But like, some of the stars I'm like, you have of such a clear advantage. Like Charlie D'Amelio, like, you're a dancer. - Yeah, that's why it's about more than, you know, it's like a 360. - It's a 360. It's like, who has what it takes to be the next American idol? Like, it's more than-- - Growth, growth, growth, and charm. - You're gonna grow as a person? - I hope I grow in height. - But you think you'll grow as a person? - Yes. - You got dancing shoes? - Yeah, I brought, so my first week of practice, I busted the heels out of both shoe, so plural. I busted this, I had to get a new pair, like, five days in. And Riley was like, so now you understand what I say, you should not be on your heels at all during this dance. That's what I meant. Like, the shoes don't even built for you to be on your heels. You need to be on your toes the entire time. So you can like be, 'cause you're not ever stopping, you know, it's like flowing to the next thing the whole time. And then you can't like spin or like dip or anything if you're on your heels. It takes like an extra half second to like move forward. - Yeah, believe you're on dancing with the stars. - Yeah. - Like they started like filming you? - You filmed every single day. I don't know how they go. - So you've done like, confessionals. - Yeah. - Oh my god. - The confessionals are me being like, that's just awesome. - So you've like talked about, you've been like, hey, like I'm Connor, like, talked about your backstory where you're from and, whoa. - Yeah, it's gonna be really fun. - I can't wait for people to see the-- - I, September 14th. - Yeah, or 15th, I don't remember. - September 14th or 15th. - 14th or 15th. - I like, I'm beside myself. - It's gonna be lit. - September 15th. - September 15th, sorry. - I'll text you, Sue. Oh, it's two night event. - Yes. - Are you doing two dances? - No, that's, 'cause there's 16 dancers now. - Yeah. - So there's a lot of us, so they're splitting. - Got it. - So there's gonna be two, which is very scary. - Do you know which night you are? - I don't, yeah, but. - Wow. - And I will. - I can't. - Maybe I do. - I can't, like the, like, this is just like, it's really just. - You're gonna die, you're gonna die. The cool part for me is like, I told him, when I say I'm leaning in, I told him, let's go over the top of costumes, let's go over the top of the dance. Like, if anything you guys want me to do, I will do. I'm not holding back. Like, I don't have a body of work that would prohibit me or hold me back from leaning in full throttle. And I'm curious to see how that's received by people that don't know who I am. - Like, you want to throw yourself across the floor. - Yes, I'll do anything. I'll wear anything, I'll sing. I'm figuring out if I'm gonna take my shirt off. - I'll do anything, take my shirt off. - I'm leaving my top on. - Yeah. - I don't know, that's my skill set. That's what I'm bringing to is that, like, I'm, - I'm down for an angle. - I'm down for an angle. - And I'm a DAB, I'm a down-ass bitch, yeah. - Wow. - So. - This isn't me. - DAB here, I'm pushing P, I'm true, and I'm real, and I'm me, and I'm leaning in. We should do, because we posted. - Sure. - Some of the-- - Oh, yeah, we asked for advice. I told you we were gonna spend most of the time talking about dancing. - All right, so last week, we have to do the advice we asked people to submit. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We asked people to ask advice. We don't ever do the advice thing. - I know. - 'Cause I feel like we don't feel-- - Well, we're not qualified to be giving it, but we can try. We'll add up, I think, instead of us giving advice, we'll give an opinion on your situation. - I like that. - Yeah. - Do you want to start with the voice memos you got or some of those? - Yeah, we could try, so I tried the voice memos because I thought that it'd be fun. And when you play the voice memos, when people submit them, you can do other stuff while you listen to them. So I'm gonna try that. But, oh. [BLANK_AUDIO] I was listening to them on like two acts. - That's fine. - People will appreciate two acts. - This is like a two for. - Okay. - So I'm gonna play the first one. - Okay. - And then I'm gonna read the second one. - Okay. - Okay. - I need advice. I have a guest room in my apartment and a friend of mine is about to end his lease and is looking for a new place, but doesn't yet know where he's going to go. And so part of me wants to invite him to stay my guest room, but then I'm worried he's just gonna take that as an invitation to move in and sort of continue to look for a place. And I'd like to keep my guest room as a guest room. So what do I do? I invite him to stay for a little bit and say, yeah, you can stay the only for a week. Do I just only come over? Let me figure it out as we go. What do I do? - So he has a guest room. It's open. What's weird about giving people an inch or giving a mouse a cookie or giving a mousse a knuckle is that they will take a mile depending on their character. - I was gonna say it depends on the character. Like if you know your friend will take the mile, I would not even offer it as an option personally. - Yeah, my thing now is like, I wanna be very clear with you, this is like, and you can joke and you can like deliver it jokingly. You can't live with me just so you know, like we can do max like two weeks. - Yeah. And you could always pull the like, I love you so much. Like I've never had a good experience like with a roommate. And like I wouldn't want that to affect. - You could all-- - Well, that and then you could also be like, I love you so much that I wouldn't offer this to anyone else. I'm offering it to you on a short-term basis and you have to leave at this point. I think you can just lay it all out there. You have to leave. And then a week out, be like, one week left. Just heads up. I hope you have a place lined up. - Yeah. I would also maybe say like, you'll like to them. Like you'll figure it out. Like you won't, like you won't ever be homeless. Like worst comes to worst. You can crash with me for a few days. - I'm saying that as someone who-- - A few days. - I'm saying that as someone who least ended fired from my job and Austin moved into Hunter's house for one year. - Yeah. - But he was like, like when I was leaving, he was like, "Oh no, we don't have to move in LA." It's like very sad. He liked the company. And I guess he had a whole house. So like the bedroom that I was in was not like that imposing on him if he was on like a different floor. - Yeah. - But she was the kitchen. Like I want to go use a kitchen and it'd be my kitchen and like I'm using the pans and like I'm in a rush. I'd leave and there's eggs still on the pan. - You don't want to roommate and that's, we need to, like that's completely fine and that doesn't make you about it. - I just realized I've done this twice. - Yeah. - I loved it, Kinsey's Beach House. - Oh god, yeah. - Yeah. - You are that friend and I would say I'm, I would be in this person's position. In which case I would like offer it. Like as a, and I wouldn't even offer it. I would be like you will be fine. Like you always, you'll figure it out. You always see a worse come source. You can always crash with me for a few days. I would say. - I know worse comes to worse as different meanings were different folks though. Worc comes to worse could be like, I just don't, I haven't found anything that I really love yet. But you found a place? - I would hope that your friend would understand worse comes to worse. Like that's worse case scenario. You could say with me. If someone told me worse comes to worse, you can say with me. I'd be like, got that part. - I'm leaving tomorrow. That's what I would do. I also like open up. If I was the person, we haven't heard the other, the other person hasn't even technically asked to stay with this person. - Right. I wouldn't offer. That's, but. - I would, you could offer. I wouldn't offer, but I would put it on the table like, yeah, it's like a backup. 'Cause I'm like, I don't think that, like obviously I would never in a million years let my friends be home. I would let my friends stay with me. But like I'm just putting myself in the position of this person imagining like, I don't wanna roommate. I think that's totally fine. - When you lived in LA and I didn't have a place that you were like, it just time for you to find a place. - Yeah. - Yeah. - It was. - It was. - And it was. - It was. - It really was. I was about to buy you a new couch so that it was more comfy for me to sleep on. And then I was like, let me get an apartment. - I can just buy a couch for my own apartment, yeah. - Yeah, that was a crazy time. Wow, thanks can change. - Things can change, look at you now. - No, I mean. - Buy coastal. - Fully driving up from Orange County every Thursday to like hang out. - Yeah. - What are we doing? - It's disgusting. - It's disgusting. - Yeah. - Oh, that freaks me out. - Yeah. - Thank you very nervous. - Yeah. - Um, I also wanna say it on the friends part. At any time I'm asking someone for a favor. I'm like, you can shoot me in the head if I'm ever upsetting you. - Yeah. - And please say no. I'm begging you to please say no. Can I stay with you? That is a dumbest question in the world. Like, I know that's stupid, I know you hate me. I know you'd rather pass away or me pass away. But like, if I could stay with you. That's how you start it. You do, you do, I'm the, I'm your mortal enemy, an enemy, and I get that, but could I? - I don't, I think you just ask, can I stay with you? I don't think. - I like setting it up like that. - Okay. - So that they know that like, I'm very, very self-aware that like, this is an imposition to you. And you, they hate me, they hate me. Obviously hate me. - Sure. Anyways, here's the two first. - But how do we like, in some, I would not offer. - In some, I would offer and be like, I don't have it in me to do this for anyone else. I'm doing it for you on a short-term basis. I love you to death. - I wouldn't wait till I was asked explicitly, unfortunately. - Okay, I haven't read this other part, but I just like, the beginning. - Yeah. - This is from the same individual. Who is a really cool name, by the way, but I'm not, I can't, it's like two private. Do you wanna hear it? - Yeah. - We'll have to bleep it. - Oh, cool. I like that a lot. - Yeah, me too. - It's like super hero. - My brother's ex-wife is now in a thruple. - Yeah. - When she apparently started seeing this guy, when the split up, maybe much, wait, she apparently started seeing this guy, when the split up, maybe much sooner, knowing he was married. His wife found out and apparently was chill with it, so they have their family time as a party of three. Sister, ex-law, I'm like having trouble. - I can't follow this right now. (laughing) - Does however have another boyfriend on the side who she lives with because who knows why he doesn't know about the trouble. - Oh, this isn't done work for me right now. - I found out about this because my sister, ex-law, someone spilled the beans to my mom who then told me and my brother, good luck to you and your family. - Like genuinely, what are you talking about? - I'm curious about these. I'm not a kid. - Or congratulations. - Yeah, are you responding? - Oh. - Okay, I have some. - Okay, me too. - Okay, do you want me to give you one? There's so many. Okay, boyfriend cheated on me with a sex worker. I'm changing some of the language here. - Yeah. - Boyfriend cheated on me with a sex worker at a massage parlor. - What do I do? This caught me thinking like, is it better or worse for the cheating to happen with the sex worker than it is to happen? - Would you? - Actual, like emotional connection with someone. - And then I think they're pros and cons each. - Like, yeah. - Would you rather your person cheat on you with like, at a massage parlor? Like, kind of just like one and done? - Yeah. - Or with somebody they'd feel like. - I don't even know if I would call them a sucess sex worker because that's just like a bonus. - This person used the language prostitute at a massage parlor. - So I don't think that they have happy endings for women at massage parlor, right? Like, if you went to a massage parlor you were like, finish me off like. - I don't, I think this is her boyfriend. - I know, I'm just saying like, you can't relate to going to a massage parlor, which is like. - Oh, no, I don't, I think it does happen. I think it's probably a lot more rare. - Yes. - Women are probably a lot less inclined. - Well, you're not gonna get a bone or a bone. - Getting a massage. - Right. - I will, I won't ever get a massage 'cause I don't like people talking to me. - I thought you were gonna be like, I won't ever get a bone or. - No. - You won't. - But in my opinion, I mean, wait, what was the question? - What was the end of it? - What was the actual really good question? - Yeah, the emotional piece would be. - What do I do for the question? - I don't know, how does she know? - I don't know, I don't know. I wish we could call her. - Yeah, I wanna go like. - But like, I almost rather you like cheat on me like because you have feelings for someone else and like, this is over. Like, I would almost rather that than like, why the fuck would you even do this? Like, I'm not giving you what you need that much that you need to seek it out of the massage parlor. Like, for what? I'd almost rather you like, lose something for a reason. I'd almost rather someone do it for a reason than just cause. - I need to know how she got that. - Like, this almost feels worse. - Really? - Not worse, but it's almost more like, what? It's almost more confusing because at least you have an answer if someone is like cheating on you because they are feeling for someone else. And for me, that's over, right? - You know what I'd really like. - For this, it's like, why did you do that? - I have gotten massages where like, the individual grabs my penis. And I'm like, hang on, no, no, no, yes. I promise. - Like the actual penis part of it? - My fuselage, yes. - You've gotten massages, and it's a woman massaging you where she grabs my shaft of my head. - My shaft, yeah. - And, and then what? - I am too, like, shy to say that it happened. - No, no, no, no, I have never had this happen. - Oh, you have not had this happen? - No, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm there strictly like, for me, it's a, we, I am not. - Did you grab your penis or not? - Yes, several times, this has happened to me. - Okay. - And it's like, no, I'm okay. - And then what do you, you say I'm okay? - Yeah. I'm getting in and out of, like, I'm, I'm there for a massage. - How do you move forward with the rest of the massage? - There's different levels of pleasure for me. If I'm in a massage, like, the levels of pleasure. - My levels of pleasure. This is like Dante's in Ferno, but good. - Walk us through the levels of pleasure. - My level of pleasure is like, if I'm there for massage, I do go in for painful massage. It's because I'm like, I'm paying money. I wanna have a result here. I'm not here to relax. If I was relaxing, I'd be on my couch watching Instagram Reels. I'm in a massage. We're making progress at the massage. I'm with this not out of my back. I want some, my hip flexor. I wanna work with my hip flexor. I don't want a hand job. - Okay. - I wanted a hand job. I'd go elsewhere. - Where would you go? - I don't know. - Name the top five places you would go if you wanted a hand job. - Okay, my top five places to get a hand job in cancun. (laughing) I, just like it's just like-- - Country city. - It's a shift of gears for me to go from like that to that. I would like to talk to, and I have a lot of friends that, not a lot, I don't have a lot of friends that go to massage. - I have a fuck ton of friends that go to massages for pleasure. - I've heard stories. You know, you know one person that received this. - Who? - Well, yes. - No. - No. - Yes. - That's on purpose? No. - No. - Yes. - No. - Yeah. - No. - So people do do this, and obviously that was beyond meaningless. It was like a, so like your question is would you seek out sexual pleasure outside of the home because you're not getting enough, and I don't think it's like a not getting enough thing. - I can't speak to that situation. - What could, like that to me, like not being able to understand the reason? - Cause guys are just horny. Like it's like a horny, I don't know. I don't think that there was like malintent, but obviously that was like not cool to do. I don't know, I just, I don't know. I don't know the answer here. - But what's your question was what do I do? - What do I do? - I'm so good. - Like have him winmo you $100, that's what I would do. But like if you love him, then like big, I don't know. I don't know. - I can touch it. - But like he should pay you money for sure. He should, he should. - I would have to, I'm thinking. - It's not tip for 10. - I'm thinking like, oh he's a 10, but. - He's a 10, but he went to the massage parlour and got a hand. - I don't, that's like really bad to me. - Yeah, it's like. - I think I would have to say. - Sayonara? - I do. - Really? - I don't, it's like hard. I know it's very different when you're in the position of. - I'm also not vouching for the young man that got the hand job. - We understand. - At the parlour? - We understand. - This is what I'm worried about with the answer with the stars. - What? - They're gonna come on and hear about hand jobs in the parlour. - No, people do, this is like a trope and not a trope. It's something that happens in like freaking, like, like, freaking, it's a trope. - No, like, the, what's the Vince Bond movie that I love? - Couples are free. - Couples are free. - Happens there. You know, like, and he's like, I wanna get a hand job. - Yeah. - And like, he has that there and because he's, they're not having sex in their marriage. - Right. - You know, he's like, I might as well just get a hand job here. So like, that's tough. That's truly like, I'm unhappy in my. - Right, I would need to, I would have to get to the root. - Yeah. - What do I do? - And it's like, here's what you do. - I think get to the root. - I think, you, I like that, I think that's the, - Here's the, here's the, here's a double-on-ton drink. - Yeah. - The double-edged sword. If you go and you say to the young man that you live with or they like that, if they're serious, and you go, are you unhappy? Like, am I not giving it? And then he's like, no, it's meaningless. And then he's gonna try to make you look crazy potentially. It'd be like, it's meaningless. Like, why would I? - And if you try that, then it's break up. - Then it's break up. Yeah. - I think you need to have like the most serious conversation you've ever had in your life. - Yeah. - And like, we need to get to the root of the part of it. - You're disgusting pig. - We need to get to the root. - You had to go to massage envy for a hand job. - I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what it's all about. - Wait, can we look up if they give hand jobs on massage envy? - I don't know what goes on there. - I have, I had a friend that went to massage envy for a five-week end. - Man or woman? - Man. - Oh. Okay. No massage envy does not offer hand jobs or any other sexual consequences. Why is massage envy so popular? Anyways. - Okay. I have one that I, yeah, I think you really need to get to the root. I have one that I wanted to do. This one is an important conversation. - Okay. - My 29-year-old girl bestie is dating a 23-year-old boy and I find it weird, thought. - Sorry, say it again. - 923. - Girl, older. This is something I've been thinking a lot about recently as everyone in the celebrity space is now younger than me. And also I've just found myself being attracted to younger men. Like where's the line? - I don't think that's weird. - 29-23. - 29-23. - Girl, older. - Or the girl. - For what, 23 is feeling really on. Let's see, 24, does that feel better? - Yeah, I think any closer to the age would feel better. Yeah. But are you saying they both age, so 30 and 24? Feels weird. - Think about 30 and 24. - That feels weird. - Let's think about 30 and 25. - Feels okay. - So it's like, where's, how do you figure that out? - 23 does feel young now that I've said 25. - Or 23 for whatever reason? I think if we start dating younger, as 29, 30 year olds, whatever, I think we need to, I think they need to be 24. - I think the round of the 25. - The roundness of the three is two. - I agree. - Like round baby face, like it's a round number, round equals young. 24 sharper edges, four sharper. I think you can do 29 and 24. And he might be 24 shortly. - Yeah. - While she's still 29. That's only a five year difference. You wouldn't blink if a man was doing that. - No, which is weird. Well, - Actually, I think the answer is, would you blink if a man was doing this? Would you blink if it was a 29 year old man and a 23 year old woman? - That's my first thing I would have been like, no. - I might blink. - You might? - I might blink, but I would not blink a 24. - Right, 'cause you're at a college, you could be, you know, like working in the same industry. I think when we start with going much younger, I think we start at 24 for whatever reason. - I don't think that this is like an in-dit because the young man is at 23. - No, I don't think it ended. And I also think it's case by case. - Well, this is also the roommate asking about her friend, right? - Yeah, she's just saying she finds it weird. And it's like, is, what's the vibe on this? Like am I? - I'm a neighbor. - Who's this that you're listening to? - For whatever reason I'm saying, like it does feel weird and it's because of the roundness of the three that I'm agreeing with you. - Sure. - But once he turns 24, it's completely fine. That's my thought. - I'm fine with it, I don't know. - You're fine with 23 and 29? - Yeah, I mean, I don't know the intricacies of the relationship. There's a power dynamic or something. - Right now. - Okay. - I think that's hot. - What are you listening to? - No, I just thought that was funny. - Oh, thanks. - So, this young woman, woman, this young woman wrote in and said, and vice and thoughts on this situation. Was on a dating app and he asked what I was looking for? This is what I said and this is what he said he was looking for. He's very attractive and seems like my type. Very classic, he's a 10-butt. - Yeah. - She said, hey, trustworthy, kind, emotionally intelligent and communicative are my top things. What are you looking for? He said, that's good. Someone smart, funny and loyal. I also like farts too, to be honest. So I want someone that'll let me sniff their farts. What are your thoughts? - Like, no. - Just throwing that in there with funny, smart loyal and I'd like to sniff your farts. - Like, obviously, like, like, block. Like, I don't think it's even a question for me. - Yeah. - Try to say. - 'Cause like, if he's trying to be funny, like, that's not, that's pretty damn cringe. And if he's being genuine, like, that's really hard to hear on the first hinge message. - Second. - Second hinge message. - I have, I want you, try to play devil's advocate. I just like, really want to, I just want to see where you go. - I'm-- - That is a real message by the way that we received from someone. I'm not like-- - Can you try and play devil's advocate? - I'm not like-- - Can I see it? - Let me check. - Yeah. - Looking full. - I, honestly, it's seeming like someone took his phone. It seems like Tristan took his phone and said that. - Okay. - Like, it's that out of no-- - It's earnestly. No, I mean, that's kind of like, hey, this is what I'm, I just want to be honest is what I'm, and I'm obviously, I'm on your side here. - Yeah. - I just want to-- - You like the honesty? - I want you-- - No, no, no. - As a devil's advocate, I'm saying-- - I want to hear, no, you have to do devil's advocate. - I can't do devil's for this. Like, there is no devil's. Unless you're into that. It seems like you are genuinely open, this person. - So you're talking about-- - No, no, no, no. - It seems like the person who submitted this, if it's even a question, they're like, what do I do? You know? So it might not bother her that much, in which case, if that doesn't bother you-- - Okay. - And he's a 10, then-- - Yeah. - Sure. 'Cause for me, it's like, I'm not even asking for advice on this, 'cause it's like-- - See ya. - Yeah. But if this is something that you're actually like, huh? And he's a 10? - I have two things that I want to raise. One, there is some science behind like, when you meet your match, you are attracted to their B.O. I don't know about farts, I don't know anything about farts. But like, they're B.O. So like, it's not like, he's, oh, this is gross. It's not like he's up close and personal, win it. happens. It could be just like a touch-off in situation that you both could share. So you're asking, you're saying she should ask for more information? If you like him, yeah, like why? Why? Yeah, like imagine you're in a relationship and you're like, we still don't fart in front of each other. That sounds horrible. Your stomach probably hurts. Imagine you find this person and it's like, "Date 1, we are blowing off some steam." "Date 1, we went to Benny Hanna's and the car ride home was very free." I could play devil's advocate here and say as someone with a bad stomach like this could take a lot of anxiety away. Yeah, sure. He might not even have a bad, he's not asking you to reciprocate. I'm saying I do. Yeah, no, he's not asking reciprocation. He's saying, "This is real. This is me. I'm pushing P." Imagine if this was Tristan that received that DM because he's just like always shooting. So like that would be amazing for him, you know? Does it bug you that this person is like sexually inclined by? I almost think the problem here for me is not that he is into farts. It's that he expressed that fairly immediately overhand. Well, I'm now I'm doing devil's advocate. He's probably been turned away after he's developed. He's like, I just need to get this out. Yeah, like wouldn't make me as I am or not. Yeah, you could be you get pretty far in it. I really like this person. Oh, I have this deep dark secret that like I can't get past myself, but this is truly something I'm interested in. And this is like a maker break for me. This is how I'm happy. See, probably just ripped man it off. If you're not interested next, next, next, next, next, next. This person has an open mind. Get under this fitted sheet with me. You seem really convinced that it's a Dutch oven situation and I worry that it's not that. We the thing is we won't know. Yeah. So. Okay. Well, I mean, I hope that helped. To be a hot box. Yeah. Okay. We are over on time and thank you guys for listening. Like, sorry, we ended that way. That is the advice that people that listen to this podcast and so it's not something that we made up. I appreciate the honesty because your profile pictures and names are attached to those things. Yeah. Please don't write in and tell me about something that like would implicate me into a felony, which happens several times for some reason. Like, I appreciate that you guys feel safe, but like now I'm a part of it. So just please don't do that. And then a lot of people exploring straight woman exploring gay stuff. So good luck to all those women as well. I have like six of those. We'll do this in the bonus. Okay. Yeah. We can do this in a minute. And I plug plug for September 15th. September 15th. Yeah.
