Woman Crossed OVER & Had A PROFOUND Near Death Experience With Her Creator

Mary Grace, a guest on the show, recounts her transformative near-death experience (NDE) in 2001. At the time, she was suffering from lupus, epilepsy, depression, and addiction, feeling spiritually dead. After praying at her mother’s grave for a sign from God, she received one the next day while driving: the song "Why Me" by The Styx played on the radio, prompting her to feel an electrical shock, which was likely cardiac arrest. She then floated into a brilliant white light, where she felt overwhelming love, merged with God, and underwent a life review that made her suffering purposeful. God told her she couldn’t stay, and she returned to her car, feeling euphoric and free from drugs and alcohol. Remarkably, her incurable illnesses vanished, with all medical tests normal. She developed psychic abilities, communicating with spirits and feeling a profound connection to all life. However, integration was difficult; she struggled with eating and daily tasks, and her priest rejected her story, legally excommunicating her from her church. This led her to research and write books on communicating with deceased loved ones, including "Talking to God in Grandma" and "Breakfast with Bluebirds," which includes a UFO story. Her experience reshaped her life, ministry, and understanding of spirituality, despite the challenges she faced.
And now, from beyond our dimension, this is the Jeff Mura Vodgas. Here's Jeff. My guest is Mary Grace, who during her near death experience was immersed in the love and light of God and was never the same. Mary, welcome back. It's great to have you again. Thank you so much for having me here at Jeff and giving me the opportunity to share my passion for the paranormal. Well, Mary, we didn't talk about it last time, but today I've got you here to talk about your NDE. So let's start on the day you died and go from there. Okay. Well, usually I like to lead up a little bit to the day before I died because it explains what led up to it. And I like to start out by, unfortunately, start out where I hit bottom in life. And I think a lot of people have been there and hit bottom. My rock bottom was at that time, this was in 2001. I was sick with the two incurable illnesses, lupus and epilepsy. And because of that, I was sucked all the time. I was very sick and for those who don't understand that lupus is an autoimmune disease, so your body is kind of slowly killing itself. And the effects of the lupus I hit of five surgeries. I had a hole in my heart. I had five medical doctors that I saw on a regular basis. And I was on 24 different medications. So physically, for the effect of the seizure disorder, I hit between five and six seizures a day. So physically, I was alive, but I wasn't living. And I was dying, but I wasn't dead. And then mentally, I was severely depressed from just recently losing my mother and losing my social life and everything else. And spiritually, I was just already dead. So one day I just had enough. Couldn't take it anymore. I had to do something. And the only thing I could think of was to drive to the cemetery to be near my mom. And on November 1st, I was six, we all say stay. I got a monies and my mother's totally grave and I prayed to God to take me home. I just couldn't take it anymore. And I got very angry with God. I was like, yeah, don't you have any compassion? Have you no mercy? Or get off the pot. Make up your mind. Either heal me or take me home. I just can't take this any longer. And then I just, I moved into making a deal with God. Probably I thought people only have told me before you make a deal with God. And I said, God, give me a sign that you haven't abandoned me. And I didn't know what to do for a second. I know I'll quit drinking. I don't want to forget to mention on top of everything else. My illness, I was addicted to drugs and alcohol. So to deal with it all, I just did more drugs and more alcohol. So I made a deal with God that I would quit drinking. And then I just got very upset and what seemed like hours of talking to myself. I wasn't getting any answers. I just decided to go home and admit defeat. I was just crying and sobbing and everything to get no answers. But the next day I got my sign from God. I had my illness and neurodustic experience. And what events that led up to that is that I decided the next day that I would go drive to the city of Rochester and New York. It's about 40 miles north of me. I live in the country to buy this book from John Edward. It was one last time. And while I was there, I decided I would go get some more drugs and alcohols. So I drove to Rochester. I purchased a bag of cocaine and I put it in the console of my car. I drove on your by-licker store and I put it underneath the front seat of my car. And then I hopped on what's called 390 Expressway. It goes around Rochester to drive to Henrietta to go to Borders bookstore. I remember Borders books to get the book from John Edward. And it was while I was driving on 390 and I got my sign from God. Now y'all may know what it's like when you hear a song at church around the radio and the words to that song just seem to speak directly to you and is the message you need if it's precise moment in your life. Well a song came out of the radio and it was one I was very familiar with but I hadn't heard it probably 20 years. It was by the rock group, the sticks. And the words that came pouring out of that radio that spoke to me. Broken soul, resist. Days you hardly bank it through. You swear that there's a curse on you. When nothing seems to fit. When things don't go your way and you know you've had enough, you've had the right to say why me? Why me? The very words that I was speaking in the cemetery the night before it again, why me? All just everything seemed to click and I just knew that was my sign from God. And I started crying and tears streaming down my face. Thank you God. Thank you for not abandoning me. And at the same exact moment I felt an electrical shock go through my body. And it was if I was struck by the proverbial lightning bolt of God. And it was only later on that I found out what most likely was happening at that moment was I was experiencing cardiac arrest. But I didn't know that at the time and I was so happy I got my sign from God. I'm driving a car. I'm crying. Thank you God. Thank you. And I was right near my exit on the expressway. So I pulled off and right there was the bookstore. Holded in the parking lot of the bookstore. And parked the car. And I happened to notice the time on the clock was 515 pm. So I shut the car off and I just put my head back against the headrest. And I'm crying tears streaming. And I thank you God. Thank you. And the next thing I know I'm floating up up up into the most brilliant, most beautiful white light. And when I reached that site, I was immersed in this tremendous force of love that permeated every cell of my body. And this light surrounded me and became me as we merged into one. And in this light, I found a piece in tranquility. And I just kind of totally surrendered and relaxed and knew that I was there to rest and heal. And there was no more pain. I was free of all earthly cares and earth was just a distant dream to me. And when I was in this light, I recognized where I was. And I recognized this being that I was with. I was with my creator, my father in heaven, and I was home. And this light made me feel like I was the most important person in the universe. I was not there to be judged. I was just there to be loved unconditionally. And there was no condemnation and judgment for kind of steps that did not and could not exist in this all encompassing light. And as I was in that light, the next thing that happened as I heard was commonly known as a life review. I'm not going to get in all the details, but the important thing to know is that I was shown scenes where people that hurt me, done hurtful things to my life and my life. And I knew that they were just there to help me out my spiritual growth, my spiritual peace, and all the suffering and sanity of my life totally made sense.
and everything was in perfect order. And then, after the light for you, I was back in the light. And without any spoken words, God said to me, "I have done all that I've asked you to best to me. I gave you a sign that I had not abandoned you and I brought you back home. You cannot stay, however. Your work is not yet finished. And in response, I was okay with that decision, because I knew that it was the right thing to do. And there's nothing that I wouldn't do for anyone that loved me that much. And so with that thought, I felt myself being pulled backwards from the light. And the next thing I knew I was sitting in my car in the parking lot of Borders bookstore. And the first thing I noticed is that I was in a state of euphoria. I felt like I was such a great high. A high that I've never ever received from any earthly drugs I ever tried. And then I noticed the time on the clock, and it was 6 p.m. And I said, "I don't know what the hell just happened." I radically haven't just happened to me. And I just sat there just trying to process everything that had gone on. And then I started, really started thinking in and I remember to promise I made the night more. To God that I would quit drinking. So I reached in the console, my car, and I pulled out the bag of cocaine, and I reached underneath the front seat, and I pulled out the battle whiskey. And I said, "I'm going to buy these things that I'm like, this is not going to be easy." But at the same time, all of a sudden these things didn't mean anything to me. They were like penny candy. Because the high I was on at that moment, like I said, it was a million times better, and they just didn't mean anything to me anymore. So I, you know, sat there quite a while. And I said, "Okay, I might as well go on the bookstore to get the book I'm here for." And so I opened the car door. And when I stepped into the parking lot, I soon realized that the world I stepped into was not the world I had left 45 minutes earlier because everything had changed. And the first thing I noticed was that I walked across the parking lot. I felt like I was floating. And I go in the store, and I'm looking at all the other customers in the store. And I felt this tremendous amount of love for everybody. And I just wanted to run up to everyone and hug them and tell them, "Don't you know how much God loves you?" And I love you. And everything's going to be all right. Fortunately, I restrained myself from doing that. So I got my book and I got out of there. But it was only with time that I realized how much my life had changed the day I saw the light. And what I do like to talk about, what I like to talk about next, like the focus on, the after effects of a near death experience, because to me, that's most important part. But do you have any questions? First, Jeff? Sure. What did God look like? Just light. It was just light. Yeah, there was no discernible face or anything. It was just light. Like looking in the sun, I guess. But it didn't hurt your eyes. After witnessing your life review and seeing all the suffering that you had been through, did you still feel like your life was perfect? Yeah, I was showing that everything made sense. And I guess this all part of my plan and things that I chose to challenge as I chose, and things I chose to overcome and endured and was able to get through. After your near death experience, did you notice you had any new abilities that could be considered psychic? Yeah, see how that was one of the things I wanted to talk about. My psychic abilities just exploded. I found that I found spirits communicating with me. And I could communicate with spirits. And I could talk with my angels and guides. I could talk with my deceased mom and spend quite a bit of time just talking in the spirit world. And in one of the first things I noticed that I, like I said, I had this. My heart was overflowing with all this love for everybody and everything. And I felt connected. I was like, I love the homeless person on the street as much as I love my husband. And I love the trees and the animals as much as I love my family and friends. And I was, had this was known as I guess a unit of experience. And I was felt at one was everything. And because of that was like I can't even hurt an aunt. I can't hurt anything because I know that we're all one. And I heard that aunt or that lie that if I killed that, I'd be hurting myself and God. And so that led to a lot of different things. And what one of the unit of this part of the unit of experience. I felt that I found that I could merge with anything that I focused my attention on. For example, I would now having a lot more energy afterwards and take walks to the lake. And I felt, if I could merge with the eagle or bird fly and overhead. That I could feel what it was like to kind of just float on the breeze or catch a thermal. And if I focused on the geese that were sitting on the lake. I could feel what it was like to just kind of bob up and down on the waves. And in this winter time, I could just merge with the snowflake and feel what it was like to gently fall to the sky from the sky in a sense of peace and joy. And I was like, who know that snowflakes were joyful, but they really are. So I just started spending all my time learning this whole new world opened up to me. Things that I could merge with and become one with. And yeah, and then my. And then one day it was like I is spending all my time with, you know, I felt like I was obsessed and possessed by God. And I know what was going on. But then one day I hear the subiphany because I could feel this like presence in my chest. I feel this living presence inside of me. I thought, well, if God's in me, he must be in everyone else too. Well, they didn't teach me this religious education. They taught me that God was separate from me. He was in heaven. And the only way I could be with him was to follow all the church rules. So now my religion wasn't making sense to me. I was just going to be a little bit more easier. And so those were some of that and a good note. I started having all this energy. Before I could hardly get out of bed, I was walking to the nearby lake like a half mile every day. Walking my dogs to the lake. My seizures had completely stopped that day of my near death experience. And I felt very healthy. I wanted to know what happened to me medically. So I went to all of my doctors. I got checked out. I had a new EKG of my heart, new EEG of my brain waves, into nuclear anybody test for lupus. And all the tests came back normal and even the whole of my heart was gone. So I had been completely healed. I'm doing curable illnesses. And I'd also kept my bargain with God and I quit, you know, so longer addicted to drugs and alcohol. No longer even appealed to me. How did the doctors react to your tests? Well, I mean, the one doctor said, well, I can't explain it, but whatever you're doing, keep doing. So at one point it was weird because I they were doing this like ultrasound in my heart. And like I said, I just I could feel this. This presence I've my heart was like, I thought it would explode like beating so hard from this love that I was now caring. And they were doing this ultrasound or whatever it was my heart. And the one technician, he's like, well, this is really cool. And he starts calling everybody.
and they're all looking at me. I don't know what they were seeing, but the one technician said he wanted to use recording because he makes music, he was a musician, and he makes music with people's heart sounds. I don't know. So there was something different there that he was calling everyone over there. I wanted that and look at it by heart. So yeah, but on the downside, integration into the, I was living in two worlds and integration was very difficult. I like to say if I had three feet, I would hit two on the other side, one in this world. And my life kind of became a roller coaster. As long as I was in the woods, and walking, or meditating, and prayer, I was in a state of bliss, I was fine. But once I had to play the role of the wife or sister or mother to my pets, and I wasn't so happy, and I no longer cared about doing things like laundry, dishes, painting the bills. And this stuff wasn't so important to me anymore, much to the chagrin of my husband. So after a while, I just, oh, and then the other thing that was strange was eating. Another downside, eating became kind of torture for me because it's hard to eat something that you feel at one with. So like the first time, like I tried to eat a hamburger, and I look at it, and all I could see was a big brown ice of a cow. So I just eliminated eating meat because I thought, well, they just, you know, eliminate the whole food group. I don't need to feel guilty about eating. Because I was keenly aware that something had to die in order for me to live. But even to have a sandwich, I look at a piece of bread and see that there was a stalk of wheat that gave its life for me. And I felt bad because it's like, I would have gladly traded places with that stalk of wheat. So I could be back on the other side with heaven and heaven with God. So I like became jealous of my food. I mean, just all weird things like that. And so I knew I knew I needed help. I was becoming a basket case. I knew I needed help. And I was in the mental health field, mental health professional counselor. And I thought, well, if I go to a colleague, they'll probably, you know, suggest some hospitalization and psychiatric hospital and some medication. I'm like, who do I go to? So I went to the one person I thought would understand. I decided I would go to my priest. So, and this was a very big deal to me. I was raised Catholic, you know, one church, my whole life, small town. And I never met with a priest before. He was just someone you saw a church and shook hands with it the way in the way out. So I got the courage to make an appointment with him and told him my story. And he listened very kindly. And then afterwards he got very angry with me. And he said, that was, you know, told him I was communicating with spirits and all that 'cause it all happened to me. And I just opened up and he's like, don't you know that what you're doing is dabbling with the devil? And don't you know it's against church teachings? And then he said, all this stuff, you're hallucinating. He told me he's probably the drugs in alcohol I was on. I was having the hallucination. And then he closed by telling me I needed to find another church. And so I left there, I was devastated. And then I got, man, I got home and then I kind of got mad. And I'm like, what's he to tell me? I needed to go know the church 'cause I've been there for 40 years and he had only been there for three 'cause you know, they moved these priests around. And so I just said, next Sunday, you know, that was my church. I've been, you know, baptized there. My first communion married, everything there. So the next Sunday I went to church. And the next day a sheriff showed up at my door and said by orders of this priest, I was not to set foot on church property ever again. Or I would be arrested for trespassing. So I was legally excommunicated from my hometown church. And of course I was devastated and I didn't understand why 'cause I thought if God could love and accept me, why could my own church? Why could my own religion? So, and I had this burning question, there seemed to be a huge contradiction in church teachings. If we could talk to God in the saints in heaven, well, why can't I talk to mom or grandma or Uncle Joe? What's up with that? And we have this church teaching on the communion of saints. So I found out through this teaching, the communion of saints, yes, we can talk with God in grandma. It just depends on what you call it. You can't call it spiritualism. So I spent the next 10 years researching and writing a book on sphere communication for Catholics called Talking to God in grandma and how we can learn to communicate with our family and friends in heaven and should stay connected because it helps the grieving process. And many people get signs from loved ones and feel connected. So that was that and then I started my own ministry, I guess the grace ministry to help other people who had paranormal, supernatural, mystical, near death experiences. - You have a new book that you're promoting that's called Breakfast with Bluebirds and it's basically a paranormal version of chicken soup for the soul. - Yeah. - In that book, you talk about UFOs or you had some experience. Can you tell us about it? - Yeah, the book is just a collection of short stories, personal stories, inspirational stories I wrote over the years to people in my newsletter stories, people on my email list. And yes, so one of them is UFO story. And in this story goes, I live on, where I live is very, it's a 6,000 Nacre state forest and there's kind of a lake in my backyard within 15 minute walk. There's no houses on this lake. It's just total woods. And there's some roads that run through the forest and there's a road that runs kind of up above the lake and it's called Merrill Back Road. And it's all, it's just trees. You can't even see the houses are set way back in in the woods. So one night I was coming home from a friend's house and it was about, it lived up on Merrill Back Road is about 11, 30 at night. And I was driving my car, it was a nice summer night. He had the windows down. And like I said, it's very secluded. There was 11, 30 at night. You can't see any houses. It's like, it used to be a dirt road. Now it's like a little bit better than paved and a very narrow road. Trees on either side. And as I'm driving, I see this orange ball of light that looks exactly like when the sun sets and it's that beautiful orange ball of light and it's exactly what it looked like. Only this is 11, 30 at night. And it's just above the trees, a little ways ahead of me. Maybe a quarter mile. And it was pretty large. It was like, the size of, I don't know, a couple of winnow bagels, huge, a lot bigger than my car. And so I'm driving, I'm staring up at this thing. My eyes are transfixed in this orange globe and I'm driving my car very slowly. And I'm staring at it. And when I got to the intersection, I stopped. And I'm staring at this thing now. Just over the intersection, maybe a couple of hundred yards away from me, just the tap of the trees. But while I'm driving, I'm like, I'm praying. I'm like, please God, please God, please protect me, angels and gods, guides, 'cause I really don't feel like being abducted tonight. So I'm saying this out loud and I get to the intersection, I stop. And I pick up the phone, I call my husband. And I got his voice mail and I'm like, Bob, if I'm late, come on home tonight, it's probably because of the UFO I'm staring at. And that was it. And there's this interesting phenomenon where people don't take pictures of UFOs. It happens all the time. Here I've got the cell phone in my hand. I'm making a phone call. Do I think to take a picture? No, because they get in your head. They get in your head as soon as you see him. And this happens time after time that people will have a camera around their neck or whatever and just don't think to take a picture. So I do.
and I'm just staring at it and there wasn't much else to it. I'm just staring at it and it slowly, it just kind of evaporated. It just slowly disappeared. It didn't shoot off or anything like that. It just disappeared and that was it. And the whole thing probably lasted, you know, maybe eight minutes. But yeah, and that was the one I wrote about and I kind of in the story I liberated by talking about how I wondered about the aliens and what they're like. And the lessons that we can learn from them and, you know, I kind of wondered like what kind of foods they eat and what stories do they tell their children and when they do come and peer, you know, how are we going to react to this human species? Are we going to give them gifts? Are we going to react with guns, you know? And I think a lot of it tells more about us than it tells about them. And then I just wondered, well, maybe they're, maybe they just came to this beautiful wine country I live in because they're just after a bottle, good bottle of wine. Who knows? Do you still have a copy of that message of you talking to your husband? I doubt he saved it. Yeah. Because that would be amazing. And then there's another part to the story because I always wondered, I had a friend, I run a UFO girl, finger-lakes, UFO group, so I have a lot of people in the field. And one friend of mine says, you know, when you see these events, a lot of the times you think it's the beginning of an event, but it's actually the end. It's like they actually just returned you and you think it's the beginning. So I went back, it was just this last year, because it's hit me about five years ago. This past summer, I was back at my friend's house. I'm a real big road. And I sent to her, you remember that time? Because she, I told her the story the next day and she sent something about she goes, yeah, I saw the orange light, too. So I asked her again about it. And she goes, yeah, I remember, as soon as you left, she went out into the yard to let the dogs out. And she saw the orange fall of light. So to me, that would have been, I was down the road. She saw it would have been behind me. But when I saw it, it was ahead of me. So I always wondered if there was some missing time there. And I kind of couldn't get that confirmed from her that there might have been, because I call my husband, so there's a timestamp. I knew there wasn't missing time there. But from the time I left her house to the time I ended up at the intersection, I don't know. I don't know what happened. Have you considered getting hypnotized to see if you can recall any missing time? Yes, I have. There really isn't anyone in our area that does that. And for that reason, I started doing guided meditations. I'm not a hypnotherapist. I don't do hypnotherapy, but I do guided meditations to help people. Well, I've been doing that for years to help people connect with loved ones on the other side. So now I've been doing that to help people connect with their family and friends that are on spaceships. So, and I've tried to self hypnosis, and I just didn't work. I got this like, like, wall there. So, yeah, I know there were some people. I found there was a woman in Toronto. And there was some, you know, I've read all the works of Ivan Smith and Dolores Cannon. I became very familiar with them. But, yeah, I guess it's having, you know, the time, the money, the resources to go to somebody. I guess they do do it through Zoom now. But I don't know. I guess they've been kind of offensive about that. A significant number of my near death experiences start having some sort of contact with UFOs or ET's afterwards. Have you had any other contact? Yes, yes. I've had some up close and personal ones, which-- You mean up close and personal with an ET? Well, I guess I'm going to come out of the class a little bit about this because I'm not sharing it with anyone, my family, friends. I did not see it. I did not consciously remember seeing the face of an ET. But I had experiences in my bedroom. And one of the first conscious, you know, wake experiences I remember is being in bed and hearing a wishing sound come from the window and seeing a white light, like a beam of light come down into my bedroom at a 45 degree angle. And I remember it because it's weird because it stopped or hit the floor. And then a black pyramid appeared in my room at the foot of the bed. And I was-- I just remember laying there saying, oh, no, oh, no. I guess this is really happening. And I was frozen and fear. I couldn't move. And it seemed like the whole bedroom became my black pyramid. It was like then I kind of was in it. So-- and that was all I remember. And then the next-- and then I woke up the next day. And I knew something huge would happen because I was-- in hindsight, I kind of had PTSD symptoms because I was just-- I couldn't focus on anything. I knew something-- I was like pacing around the house, you know, just trying to get a cup of coffee. I was just like everywhere. And my mind was just one shut off. I knew something happened, but I didn't know what. And I remember, you know, I just didn't know-- I don't know exactly what happened. And I had a couple other encounters that were similar to that. One I was sleeping in a sunroom in our house. It's downstairs. Last year, I was laid up with a bad knee. So I was sleeping in that room because it was closer to the bathroom. And again, I woke up terrified. It was as if it's the key to wake up terrified. I didn't know what happened, but I looked out the window. And there was a white-- and this was probably early, maybe five in the morning when I became aware. Because it was still dark out. And there was this white glowing sphere in my backyard in the one corner of the backyard about 50 feet from the house. And so just a couple experiences like that. And then just waking up in weird situations. So I don't have really a clear, conscious story to tell, no conscious memories of actually seeing an ET. But I said, I've read enough stories. Heard enough I kind of get the gist of what happens. But at the same time, I'm a spiritual teacher. I'm very into this great awakening, the shift that's going on and knowing that on a spiritual level that we are here working with aliens and can take these are ambassadors of sorts, trying to bring in the shift into the new world, into our humanity. So I see it from two levels. On the physical level, I experience being terrified. And on the spiritual level, I understand that-- and especially through my counseling and regressing people and meeting some very highly spiritual beings that are aliens, but very high-- master teachers and I received messages through them through my clients that I was regressing. So there's a lot to it. There's a lot to it. And it's not all bad. I think there are any civilization as a kind of reflection of ours is good and bad. But I always like to think there's a lot more good in the world than there is bad. And the same with ET's. And they're here to help. I believe keep us from blowing ourselves up. Do you think that your contact with them is a result of your NDE? I think it's all related. Yeah, I think the NDE really expands your consciousness and opens you up. So you're then aware of different levels of reality. You can communicate with spiritual beings at a physical level with the aliens. And I, at this point, have chose not to try and meditate and speak with aliens. Like a lot of people do. And there's a lot of channelers. I foul, like Bashar, Darrell, and Inka. And so I like to listen to their messages that are usually positive. If people want to find out about your books, do they go to a website or Amazon? Both. Can I flash my books? Of course. Yeah, the NDE experience.

Mary Grace experienced a near-death experience (NDE) in 2001 after hitting rock bottom due to lupus, epilepsy, depression, and addiction.
She prayed for a sign from God at her mother’s grave, and the next day, while driving, heard the song "Why Me" by The Styx, which she took as her sign, followed by cardiac arrest.
During her NDE, she floated into a brilliant white light, felt unconditional love, merged with God, and underwent a life review that made her suffering meaningful.
God told her she couldn’t stay; her work wasn’t finished, and she returned to her car, feeling euphoric and free from addiction.
Afterward, she was completely healed of her incurable illnesses, with all medical tests normal, including a healed heart hole and no more seizures.
She developed heightened psychic abilities, including communication with spirits, angels, and her deceased mother, and felt a deep unity with all living things.
She struggled with integration, including difficulty eating (feeling one with food) and losing interest in mundane tasks, leading to emotional turmoil.
Her priest rejected her story, accused her of dabbling with the devil, and legally excommunicated her from her church, which devastated her.
She spent 10 years researching and writing a book, "Talking to God in Grandma," about communicating with deceased loved ones, and later published "Breakfast with Bluebirds," a collection of inspirational stories, including a UFO experience.
