I am in the nation's capital and I have to tell you guys, Washington, D.C. is such a pristine city, all of the architecture, the infrastructure is incredible. And then when you get close to anything that Donald Trump has touched, it's like the white trashification of America. I mean, it is just the White House. It looks like it's barricaded. It used to be so pristine and regal. And now it is just a Trump dump. And he is so terrified that we are going to win the midterms and we are going to that a month out. We are one month out from the midterms. We are one month out from all of us showing all of these tech oligarchs, the Supreme Court, the cowardly Republicans, Donald Trump, all of the submissive tradwives that work for him, and I'm talking about the men, that we do not like him. And so he is spreading lies about mail-in voting, play the clip. Well, what we're concerned about is there seems to be a lot of too, not seems to be, there is a lot of cheating in vote by mail, a lot of cheating all over. Start off by taking a look at California, take a look at, take a look at, no evidence with millions and millions of ballots. You are fake news. Oh, I mean, he is getting testy. I am so tired of hearing about the fake news in this clip. They ask him about his polls and he says the polls are fake news. And about mail-in voting, he votes via mail-in voting. I think with the mail-in voting because they have gone after the United States Postal Service, he wants to be able to capture a lot of these ballots and destroy them. I think that we have to realize that when Trump tells us what he's going to do, we need to believe him. He told us we're going to go to the Capitol and we're going to tell Mike Pence that he can't do this and he did it. And they put up gallows and they were going to hang Mike Pence. I vacillate like you guys do a lot of times like, is he a blowhard or is he dead serious? And I think that a lot of times he starts off by acting like a blowhard, but right now in his deathbed confession era, the blowhard stuff is just stuff that is in his brain from conversations he's having and then they manifest in actual crazy things that he does. So simultaneously, we have all of these insane fascists, insane authoritarians, insane broken people that instead of going to a therapist, they are trying to fix their brokenness by projecting it onto the rest of its citizens. And then we have where we are right now in these resistance spaces where you're out in the United States and you don't come across anybody that supports this guy. Everybody is just beside themselves by what's happening to our country. And you have resistance happening all over the place. I want to play for you guys this clip of iconic actor Robert De Niro and he has a perfect response for Donald Trump. Play the clip. And when that coward, that fucking piece of shit, Donald Trump tries to take our voice and power away. What do we tell him? You're fucking hands off our vote. I love this so much and they're just only when it comes to Trump, he is a fucking coward. You can't really put it any other way. This guy is so broken. He is incapable of having a free and fair race where if his side loses, he says, you know, great job. These are not the results we wanted. What we've all been taught to do, what other politicians before him have set an example that if you lose the race, you call your opponent, you can see it and you say the American people have spoken and we respect the process, not this guy. He has for over a decade been planting conspiracy theories about free and fair elections because he knows and Republicans in a larger sense for over well over multiple decades have known their policies are so incredibly unpopular that they have to suppress the vote, that they know when more people vote, more people vote against them than vote for them. And Trump is escalating the authoritarian rhetoric and actions, both rhetoric and actions. He's doing both of those things. It's so close to the midterms. He is calling for jailing journalists over reporting about his crowd size. Again, the Ohio arena was already full to the brim. And yet these people were still trying to get in. The New York Times said there were empty seats. When, in fact, there were none. And thousands of people had to be turned away. The New York Times and many other artificial media outlets should be arrested for their dishonesty and disservice to our country. When Bernie Sanders has 500 to 1,000 people, they make it sound like it's the biggest event that ever took place. When President Donald J. Trump has 50,000 people, they make it sound like nobody showed up. First of all, all of this is a lie. Secondly, he is insanely jealous. Somehow, he got in his social media feed that Bernie Sanders is filling a ring. And that that economic populist message seems to be the antidote for all of the cruelty that this man is doing. But talking about jailing the New York Times, it's fall. The weather started and you get chilly. It's time to do a little revamp with your bedding. And I have the best products imaginable every single night. I crawl in my bed. And my sheets are A plus chef's kiss perfection. They are by bowl and branch. The bowl and branch products, the sheets were so good. I was like, I wonder what their other products are like. So I branched out, if you will. I got this great waffle bed blanket. They come in a variety of covers folded it, put it at the end of my bed. I'm telling you guys, these sheets also get better with age. The more you wash them, the better they are. They're crisp, yet soft. And they have that great like hotel bed linen fill to them. I am obsessed because getting good sleep is non-negotiable for me. And I also want a chic bed. And so bowl and branch has the best of both worlds. Perfect sheets plus a huge variety on how to curate your bed so that when it's made, it looks fantastic. So listener, upgrade your sleep with bowl and branch. Get 15% off your first order plus free shipping at bowl and branch dot com slash I have with code I have that's bowl and branch B O L L A N D branch dot com slash I have code I have to unlock 15% off exclusions apply. And again, he's doing and saying all of this crazy stuff with impunity with utter impunity. You have vanity fair that just trotted out all of these photo shoots of all of these tech oligarchs constantly saying washing constantly saying these are the figures in our society. These people deserve to be ridiculed, deserve to be criticized to the fullest extent. And so Donald Trump, all he has right now is are his threats. You are fake news. I'm going to throw you in jail and you know what we better believe him. And there is also new reporting on the pesky Epstein files. The Trump administration is attempting to cover it up still pop this up. Allison Gill has obtained descriptions of nine FBI training videos showing agents were instructed to flag Epstein documents containing Donald Trump's name for supervisory review. The DOJ is still refusing to release the actual videos. So imagine for just a second that Barack Obama was in the epicenter of a child sex trafficking ring. Imagine Hillary Clinton was. They claimed that she was they claimed that she was eating kids and in the basement of some pizza parlor in Washington DC. And imagine that they were covering it up like this. The media wouldn't tolerate it for a second. So my question for you is why do all of these entities always capitulate to protecting right wing framing? And it is because right now we genuinely don't live in a democracy. The very last semblance of it is going to be these midterms. But we live in an oligarchy that is very quickly transferring to an electoral autocracy. And they are going to do everything in their power to cheat. They have already met with Gila in Maxwell and moved her to another prison because magus
supports pedophilia. They've chopped me up on right wing media when I say MAGA supports pedophilia. This girl is disgusting. Well, it's true. It's absolutely true. We oppose pedophilia and we are the party of law in order. And I think we need to have full investigations into every single one of these people that are mentioned in the Epstein files, full investigations into Trump and all of his family members and extended friends that are making all of this money off of the equity and the good brand of the United States of America, which very quickly and less than two years, they have turned into the worst brand in the world. And they also have like the worst bench in the world. Ken Paxton, of course, is just seated on the MAGA bench, dying to become Senator in Texas. And this guy is one of the worst candidates I've ever seen. One of the worst I've seen is that Roy Moore in 2016 that was running for Senate in Alabama and he was an alleged accused pedophile. Of course, Trump endorsed him. Of course, he endorsed him after these allegations. And Ken Paxton is a crook, a Philander liar, just an absolute abject piece of shit. And there are all these videos leaking left and right about Ken Paxton. And Ken Paxton confirms in a secret recording that he is a puppet for MAGA. Let's play the clip. If there are race comes from other people a lot of times, which you don't control. So I have a little controller in my bucket. That's about it. In my little bit of time that I can go out and get to as many people as I can. But I've never been erased by thoughtless control over the like campaign. And like what issues are going to matter because it's all coming from D.C. and I don't control message or what we're doing. And I can't I have no ability to change anything. So I have to live with whatever I've got. So it is a challenge and it's these submissive tradwives. It's unbelievable. You are a candidate for Senate. And why won't he? Why won't he say this on the news? Why won't he go on the Sunday shows and say I'm taking control of my campaign. I reject Donald Trump and all of the messaging coming from D.C. Why won't he do that? I'll tell you why. Because when somebody challenges Donald Trump, let's take the example of Senator Tom cotton. Senator Tom cotton had his cell phone number, his private cell phone number doxed by the president of the United States. An interesting side note tidbit to this is that I read on ex Elon Musk free speech website that a lot of people after they got the cell phone number put the number into the grinder app and said this number's already been registered. So that's a little interesting tidbit. But because Donald Trump rules with an iron fist, you do what I say or I will ruin your life. And then he has an army of rubs which we saw on January 6th that wanted to kill the vice president of the United States, a white Christian Republican. And somehow Ken Paxton thinks he's going to be safe in the Serena. Somehow JD Vance thinks he's going to be safe. Somehow Sam Altman and Elon Musk think they are safe with these people. Donald Trump will never have enough of what he wants. We could all give him everything he wants. He could get every single vote in the midterms, could go to a Republican. Every American can say you are incredible, you are a great golfer, your makeup looks. We totally support you and how much you think other men are hot. You are just my god, the best thing ever. He would still be broken. Nothing will fix him. And these tradwives like Ken Paxton prove every single day that all of the tough guy veneer is nothing short of a fraud. You peel that back and underneath this are incredibly broken people. And I always like to leave you guys with some hopium. Abdul El-Sayed is an incredible candidate. I mean, truly, he goes on Fox News. He goes everywhere and he can go toe to toe with anyone. He is a capitalist. He's not a DSA member. But he supports. And in a realistic way, he says, we have to make a big 10 in the Democratic Party. And I partner with DSA candidates. So here is Abdul proving why Democrats should go on Fox News every chance they can get. Play the clip. So does that disturb you to hear this growing movement of Democratic socialists in the United States who think that it's the government's job to make sure that you live a dignified life because I always thought it was on us to succeed, not on someone else to do that for us. Well, Martha, I assume you went to good public schools. Yes, I did. And you got to drive on good roads today or you rode the subway. Pretty much. Right. Or you wish those roads were good. Yeah. And when you put your garbage out, somebody comes and picks it up. Yes. Yeah. And he breathed clean air. Pay an enormous amount of taxes in New York and New Jersey for those things. And I guess what I'm saying is- I'm a capitalist because I believe that we leave it to supply and demand to allocate where capital ought to go and the goods that we produce. But I also believe that there's a basic amount of soil that we need. Good school, clean air, clean water, health care, child care. Those are things that just are in the firmament. Now, those are the basic foundations. It's not disturbing to me to think that government should be able to offer you those basic things just like you got and I got. I'm so grateful for the amazing public schools that I got to- So much, but we pay so much money. Let me tell you, Martha. The people in Oklahoma pay less taxes and it shows. I mean, we're ranked 50th in education, 50th for state for women to live. So if these red states with lower taxes are so great, why doesn't Fox News pack up its headquarters and move move to Alabama, move to Oklahoma, move your headquarters to Louisiana, go to West Virginia, go to Mississippi. You won't do it because you enjoy all of the fabulous attributes of a big blue city and multiculturalism and you enjoy every single bit of going to different types of restaurants, Chinese restaurants, Mexican restaurants, et cetera. You enjoy better schools. You enjoy a better social safety net. You enjoy better infrastructure. But you exploit the robes that don't have it and you make these blue cities out to be the boogie man. And I just want to say, if you live in a red state, you are more likely to be poor, obese, die of gun violence, uneducated. The list goes on and on and on. So if Fox News and all of these right wing media people are so all chips in on all of this red state stuff, why don't you pick up Fox News, pick up OAN, pick up all of these places and move to rural America and broadcast from there and then circle back with us and tell us what you think. All right, that's all I have for today. My book dropped two day. Please order it. Very exciting. That's why I'm in DC. I did a show last night. Jim Acosta was the moderator. I'll be in Boston on Wednesday, New York City on Thursday in Naperville, Illinois, outside of Chicago next Monday. So the book is called Not Today Fascist. Make sure you subscribe to this channel and we'll be back later with more news.
