Why Your Biz Grew, But Now You're Stagnant

The speaker argues that most business owners remain stuck because they over-rely on "telling" (listing client problems, results, or generic advice) instead of "showing" (demonstrating their own embodied experience and wisdom). While telling is useful for beginners, it eventually causes plateauing because it places you in a crowded category with many others. Showing, however, puts you in a category of one—your unique story, struggles, and real-life actions cannot be copied. The speaker emphasizes that people buy certainty and conviction, not just programs. To attract high-level clients, you must be a walking embodiment of what you preach: your daily habits, reactions, and decisions must align with your advice. She advises against copying the mysterious marketing of top earners, who already have credibility; instead, reveal your behind-the-scenes journey, including mistakes and corrections. Using a personal example of apologizing to her husband after a snap reaction, she illustrates how living with integrity—as if a camera crew were always filming—builds magnetism. Ultimately, the key is to make your life the greatest story you can tell, so that your audience sees you as the real deal.

Hello you guys. I am so excited to do this episode today. I just knew that I needed to film this right now because it just came to my head and it just needs to be talked about right now. Most people are not experiencing the success in their business that they know that they're meant to experience. Meaning if you know you're supposed to be actually making an additional $10,000, $20,000, $30,000, $50,000 a month and you are right now in the way that you want it. Like you know you're meant to do it. But something just feels off and you don't know what it is. I'm going to tell you what I do believe that it is. And I see this happening to people all the time. Even people that are making great money. I've got clients that have come to me making $20,000, $30,000 a month having this problem and it's what keeps them stuck at $20,000, $30,000 a month because you can get pretty far just doing this the opposite way. But you will eventually plateau. And I will explain to you why and I will explain to you what you need to be focusing on and what you really should be doing. And it's a little bit different than maybe what you learned before and I could bet you you've probably never heard anything like this before. The way that I'm about to explain it because most people don't know how to explain it the way that I'm explaining it. And that is just the reality of the situation. Most people stay in the same spot and they stay pretty stagnant in their business for an extended period of time because they do way too much telling and they don't do enough showing. What does that mean? How are you taught to make content? How do beginners typically make content? Right? You make your list of your client results or your client desires and your client problems. You know, like everybody else does and how everybody else teaches you. And I've even taught this before too. And it's really important for foundations. It's really important for beginners to really know where their client is, really know who they're speaking to. If you don't know these things, of course, you're not going to get anywhere. But there comes a time where you realize that you are now in an industry where there's a lot of other people that are doing something pretty similar to what you're doing. Right? There are other coaches that do stuff pretty similar to what you do. Cell programs very similar to you. And then people realize this and then they have a rude awakening and they're like, oh no. Other people are doing this the way that I'm doing it or other people sound like me or other people are whatever. I sound like everybody else. I don't know what to do. And then this is where the imposter syndrome comes in. Is there enough room for me? Can I be successful too? Well, these people are doing the same thing and this person's already got more followers and more credibility. Why would somebody pick me? Oh my gosh, like they're making more money than me and they have more whatever and all of this thing, all of these stupid thoughts that go on through people's heads. Right? And you realize that there's a lot of other people though that are doing what you're doing. When you start showing and you stop just telling, you are going to make so much more money. It's not even funny because showing not telling is what puts you in a category of one. There's nobody else that can show what you show. There's nobody else that can do what you do. And this is the difference. And I see so many people making this fucking mistake and I'm going to tell you what this mistake is. They look at what people at the top are doing. The people that are making the millions, the multi millions, the people that already have a very established brand, like a very established brand where they're already making like these ready established brands. They're already making 100, 200, 300, 500, $1,000 a month, a million dollars a month, $5 million a month. They're looking at what these people are doing and they're trying to copy their marketing strategy. They're trying to be a little mysterious. They're trying to be a little bit like, ooh, I'm going to leave these people second. Guessing, like, you can't do that unless you're very credible. You can't do that. You can't create a trend unless you already have some sort of credibility. It doesn't work like that. So what you need to start doing, if you're not making 100, 200,000 dollars a month, you need to start showing and you need to do less telling. What is showing, not telling mean, showing people who you are behind the scenes, show people that you talk the talk and that you walk the walk, show people that you understand where they are right now and what they're currently going through based on your own embodied experience and embodied wisdom. And this is the kind of conversation that sometimes trips people out, well, trips the wrong people out because a lot of people are trying to sell and result that they themselves have not experience. And when you are trying to sell something that you've not experienced, you don't have any embodiment. You don't have any wisdom. That's why you're always telling and you're not showing and you're not making nearly as much money as you should be making. That's the reality of the situation. You should be very good at what you do based on your own embodied wisdom and embodied experience to be able to sell somebody a result. And I'm sure if you're listening to this, you're not these kind of people like you're not trying to sell a result that you don't have. You're not trying to tell somebody to do something that you don't do. But a lot of people make the mistake of trying to sell an end result that they don't have. They're trying to sell something that they have no embodiment with. And then there's no way that they can explain their story. There's no way that they can show that only can tell. And when you can only tell and you don't show, you're in a category of a gajillion. But when you're showing and not telling, you're only in a category of one. So one of the easiest examples of me showing and not telling is the recent carousel post that I made. This recent carousel post that I made, it starts with something along the lines of on January 25th, 2022. Like I had a very massive wake up call and this conversation went to go into how I woke up and I was like, I'm not going to change my life if I'm just going to sit here and keep waiting. And I've gave very specific details on a specific experience that I was currently going through on something that I was currently feeling. I went through all of that and that is what showing is. I showed my audience where I was at one point. I showed my audience what it looked like to be brave. I showed my audience that I am a walking and talking embodiment of everything that I preach. That's the kind of stuff that makes people look at you and go, holy shit. This is exactly what I'm thinking about. This is exactly what I'm going through. This is exactly what I'm doing right now. Holy crap. I am playing it small. I am not talking in the talk. I am not walking the walk. And that's why I'm probably struggling a little bit right now. This is what happens to people in business all the time and I see this happen a ton with even high achievers. These people preach to other people in the fitness industry and the business coaching industry and every single industry. I've seen this happen and this this conversation is about you trying to get other people to do things that you yourself are not willing to do. You yourself trying to tell other people what they should be doing when you're not doing it. It's the same conversation of if you're a fitness coach and you preach doing your mindset work every day. If you preach not binging, if you preach all of these things but then behind the scenes you don't do any of the things that you try to tell other people that they need to do in order to be successful. You're not talking the talk or you're just talking the talk. You're not walking the walk. And then this is where people struggle and this is where people experience imposter syndrome and this is where people wonder if they're good enough or they're not good enough. And this isn't to say that you're always going to be perfect all the time. Like I do a lot of mindset coaching and I still have mindset coaches but I still do the things that I tell other people to do. I do I still plug into my mentors when I really need support. I still don't avoid making high level decisions. Even when I'm afraid I still talk the talk and walk the walk. I'm a walking embodiment of everything I preach and when you're a walking embodiment of everything that you preach and you are showing your people not telling your people what to do. You're showing your people who you actually are. This is the kind of stuff that puts you in the category of one because nobody can steal your story. Nobody can be you better than you can be you. Nobody can do this differently than you because you are you and you are unique. And people are not just buying the programs and the products and the end results they're buying their certainty and their conviction in you because there's a lot of other people that do exactly what you do. Coaching, consulting, whatever. Like there's so many people that do that. What makes you different? What makes you credible? What makes you somebody that's worth listening to? Show them who you are. It's the same conversation that I've had multiple times. I'm sure you might have had these conversations to maybe with people. It's like you see like they talk about doing something and then they themselves just don't do it. Like if you're the kind of person that's not willing to get uncomfortable and do what it takes yet you preach to people to get uncomfortable and do what it takes, you're not going to be an energetic match for that kind of person. You're not going to be a match for the kind of person that operates at that level because people are going to feel it. But you're going to attract more of who you are currently right now instead of what you want because you don't get what you want you always get what you are. That's the difference. So what I want you to do and I want you to really think about in your content today and I want you to think about this and where you're showing up. Where right now could you potentially not be doing the things that you are preaching other people to do? Where right now are you letting shitty thoughts limiting beliefs victim mindset, victim mentality run into your life? Where right now are you putting the blame on other people instead of taking responsibility for your life? Where right now do you know you're falling a little short? Where do you know right now that you're doing that? I'm going to tell you something that I've noticed in the coaching industry. More on the business side. I don't know much about other industries but I've noticed this a lot in the business coaching industry right now. There are a lot of people that are complaining. They're complaining about lack of results. They're complaining about like in this is people that are other business coaches. They're complaining about other coaches. They're complaining about other mentors. They're complaining about high ticket programs not giving them the result that they wanted. They're operating at a very low frequency. They're a magnet for other people that are also victims to their current circumstance. They're victims to where they are right now. They don't take responsibility for their lives. And they are allowing their own individual perception to skew their emotions and to skew the way that other people view them and they wonder why they're not able to do what they want to do. They wonder why people aren't buying from them left and right. They're wondering why they're not able to sell their high ticket programs and products because they're operating at a low energetic frequency. And they are not operating from a high integrity space. This is happening all the time. I see people complaining, blaming other coaches, telling people they're bad, telling people they're scammy, telling people whatever, like it's all over the place right now, right? I'm sure that you've seen it before too, maybe if you're not in the business coaching industry, maybe if you're in like any other space, if you follow business coaches for advice, you might see this. And every time I see that, for me, it's like, oh, this is a red flag. Your business right now is not going very well because if it was, you would not have this perception based on that experience. I've made investments that haven't always been the best thing, meaning I didn't get the result that I thought, but it also made me a better coach and a better leader. And I take everything as a learning lesson and I went in and I learned, but I never fucking lose. It's a different mentality, right? And then I show that mentality. I show that nothing can break me. I show that I do what it takes. I show it. I don't just tell you. I show you. It's a two- I am and it's what I do. Nobody that's complaining about other people, other coaches blaming other people for their lack of results, their lack of success. Nobody's coming to save you, right? But this is just a very specific, perfect example of what this is. This is what it's about at the end of the day. So many people talk, but they don't show. And they say, I want this kind of client. I want to be able to do this. I want this kind of result. I want to do this. I want to make more money. I want this. I want, I want, are you a match for that person right now? Are you a match for the person that you know that you want to be? If they knew who you were behind the scenes and you had to show them who you were, would they be proud of you? Would they be like, yep, that's still the person I want to work with? Are you the kind of person that's still hitting snooze 25 times a day, even though you preach the importance of discipline? Are you the kind of person that tells other people like, hey, it's important to keep the promises you make with yourself, but then you yourself are not doing that. Are you the kind of person that's like, I eat healthy all the time, but you're actually binge drinking three, four nights a week because you don't feel good about yourself. You don't get what you want. You get who you are. And when you start recognizing that if you just make your life, fuck business. Don't even think about business right now. You just make your life. The most greatest story that you can ever fucking tell. And you are a fucking walking and talking embodiment of everything that you preach. You are a magnet for your people. You will be a magnet. You're not even oozing confidence at this point. You're oozing magnetism. You're like, oh my God, she is the real deal. Stop focusing on what you need to do for your business. Stop focusing on all of these little pieces that don't actually matter, especially after you've already seen a certain base level of success. Like in the beginning, sure, you've got to know how to make content that converts. You've got to know how to make offers. You've got to know how to do these things, whatever. We're past that. Okay? We're past that. Your job now is to make your life something that somebody would want to be a part of. You want to live your life right now. And I'm telling you, this one thing that I'm telling you is going to fucking change your life if you fucking allow it to. I want you to live your life as if you have a camera next to you. At any given point, you've got a man with a camera filming you 24 hours a day, except when you go to the bathroom and, except when you take a shower and, except when you have fun time with your partner. Okay? They're watching you. They're filming everything you do. They're filming everything you say. They're filming the way that you react. They're filming the way that you show up. They're filming how hard you go in your workouts. They're filming how you eat. They're filming what you do every single day. I want you to imagine a camera crew filming you for 30 fucking days. And then I want you to imagine that camera giving that camera crew, giving that footage to your audience. Are you proud of that person? Or as your audience going to see that you preach one thing and you tell them one thing but you show them something totally different. You tell them, "Go bigger, go better, let's go." But then you behind the scenes are fucking afraid to make your next big move and you're shaken and you're boots and you're not willing to do what it takes. That's the frequency that you're at. What you do. Not what you say, not what you tell what you do and what you are. That is who you are. That's the reality. Those people want it but they're not willing to do what it takes. That's the situation. And when you start realizing that showing is embodiment, showing is being, showing is who you are. It's so much easier and more exciting, at least for me, to want to just be the best version of me. It is so exciting. And I know, like when I wake up in the morning, the way that I react, the way that I do things, the way that I talk, I would be grateful if a camera crew followed me because I'd be like, "Oh my God. I am a walking and talking embodiment of everything that I preach and I'll tell you something that happened even this morning." Woke up this morning, was folding my clothes, getting my laundry done, getting my shit done, went into the kitchen and my husband accidentally threw away something that I was using for a blood test. And I immediately reacted a little bit quicker. And I said, "Don't you think you should ask me before you throw something away?" The way that I reacted. And I was like, "Ooh, that was really punchy." That was not a really good representation of how I want to communicate with my partner, even though I'm frustrated. So we talked back and forth for a second. And obviously he was defensive because I came at him hard and I took 30 seconds and I was like, "I'm so sorry that I talked to you like that. That was not a representation of who I knew that I am and I should have slowed down for a second and took a deep breath and we are a team. And I don't ever want to talk to you disrespectfully. I don't want to snap. That's not who I am. And I immediately corrected myself. And I was like, "There's a version of me that would not have done that. There's a version of me that would have been headstrong. There's a version of me that would have just been angry." And it was something so simple that he threw away. It was like something that I would use to prick my finger to test my blood for this current diet, this current diet that I'm currently on. And I'm like, "I can just go get a new one. Like it's not that big of a deal." And it was a mistake. And maybe I should have just put it away before I shouldn't have left it on the counter because he's asked me to take my shit off the counter multiple times. But my ability to just instantly react after 30 seconds of making a mistake and being like, "That's not a real representation of who I know that I'm meant to be. I'm going to do better today. I am going to do better. And I'm going to apologize. And we apologize because I will never, ever leave my house knowing that me and my husband are not okay. Never. Because I never know when our last days are. I never know if something can happen to me, happen to him. Car accident, sickness, whatever. I will refuse to let the last words I ever be to my husband be an anger. Not going to happen. Not going to do it. Nope. Never. Don't live my life that way. It's not what I do. And this is literally how I live my life. And then, led to my workout, was a little tired when I got there. Okay? Honestly, I've been a little bit tired. I've been just a little bit lethargic in the morning. I think it's from my diet change. And it just takes me a little bit longer to get going. And I think a big thing too is that I'm not drinking coffee in the morning. The way that I used to is like right away the way that I used to want to. And so I've been a little tired. I'm adjusting. Showed up at my workout. And I was giving it some, but I'm like, I'm just still tired, you know? And I wasn't giving it my all almost deliberately. And I was like, this is not a representation of who I am and what I preach. This is not who I am and what I do. I'm going to intentionally choose to go harder because this is actually who I am and what I do. And so I did. And I left that workout with sweat dripping down my face and I'm like, that was a real representation of who I am. And I'm sure if there was a camera crew on it, you would see like my face change. You would see the intensity pick up. You would see the effort be totally different. And I'm proud of myself and I'm like, this is who I am. And there is no camera crew. You guys, there's never going to be a camera crew. You got to do it for you. You have to do it because you are committed to becoming the best version of you. You have to do it because it matters to you to fulfill, to fulfill out your destiny and become the person that you know that you're meant to be. Add my let says this all the time. And I will never forget when I first heard it and I just want to repeat this to you again. When you die at the end of it, he always talks about it like this. Like you are going to meet your maker. You're going to meet God and then God's going to show you two things. He's going to show you your current life. And then he's going to show you the life that he had planned out for you, the life that you know that you were meant to live. My goal and add always says this to Ed's goal is to get to his end and look at his life. And then God shows him the same exact life that he's living right now, meaning that he actually lived and did the things that he was supposed to be doing. You want to get to your maker at the end of this and you want God to show you the life that you live and you want to be able to say, I fucking did it. What a fucking life I lived. What a person I became. How amazing is it that I did this. God showed me the life that was intended for me. I'm living that life right now. I did what I was supposed to do. I did it scared. I got uncomfortable. I got into the bigger rooms. I worked on myself. I refused to fucking take no for an answer. I refused to be a victim. I refused to wait for somebody to save me. I decided I was going to save myself and I did. Holy crap. My life is like this. Or do you want to get to your end and do you want your life that you're living to be this kind of average ordinary life that you knew that you weren't really meant to live, but you settled. You played it safe. You let fear ride the show and you want to get to your end and you want God to show you what your life could have been. versus the life that you currently live? That would be fucking devastating. This is what makes me, oh my God, I cannot do this. The fact that I'm even alive right now is absolutely insane and the fact that I get to live this life the way that I get to live this right now, it makes no fucking sense. The way that I was born in a time where I'm able to reach so many people with my audios, just like this, with my content, with my TikToks, with my Instagram, like with my coaching, I have the ability to change so many lives and I can change even more lives if I get better for me and I hold myself to a higher standard and I choose to get into the bigger rooms and I choose to do whatever it fucking takes. Me, I'm so lucky that I have the ability to do this. I'm so lucky that I live in a time where I can literally hold a fucking mini computer on my hand and talk into it and I have the ability to influence and reach so many people in change their lives. Who the fuck am I to not do that? Who the fuck am I to be a victim, make excuses? I can't do this, I can't whatever, I don't have this, I don't whatever, I refuse to live my life that way. Well, I can't, I don't hear that, well, I don't have money, well, I'll go fucking make it, well, I can't do this because of X or the way that I grew up or the way that whatever, or I don't have the support, or this person doesn't believe in me, the world doesn't care. That's not what it is and we are so fucking entitled. If you even have the ability to listen to this episode right now because you have internet, you have a smartphone, you have no fucking idea how lucky you are and that somebody would kill to be in your position right now and the fact that so many of us, and this was me for a very long time, I fall and guilty to this and there are other times in places in my life where I can do better with this truly, there are times where I know I could do better and be better, but like if we don't take advantage of every opportunity that we have in front of us and we just make excuses instead of make moves and do the thing and show people who we really are, oh my God, man, you guys have no fucking idea how good your life is gonna get when you start living like this, when you start embodying this, when you start being this person, being the person that you know that you're meant to be 'cause nothing beats embodiment, nothing and it makes me also pissed because there's times in my life where I didn't do this and there's times in my life where I've really fallen off of this, especially with my diet, like recently, I just sent an email out last night talking about how I did some food tests and I got some blood tests done and I've realized that I have some intolerances and reactions to certain kinds of food and I've known this for a couple months but I didn't fucking do what I knew that I was supposed to do to feel better about me because I was afraid, because I read some posts somewhere where people were saying, well, you're gonna lose your energy, you're gonna have brain fog, it's gonna be really, really hard for you and you're not gonna be able to work really well and it's gonna be whatever, you're gonna be obnoxious, you're gonna be bitchy, whatever, and I was so afraid of that that I didn't get started. I was so afraid of that that I didn't do what it took, I was so afraid of God for fucking bid, not being able to have a fucking margarita once a week and I still can do that, but it's like, I'm making all of these decisions that keep me small, that keep me contracted, I deserve fucking better than that and by me not doing the shit I know that I'm supposed to do, I am not in an embodiment, I'm not the person that I'm supposed to be, who the fuck am I to preach all of this shit if I'm not willing to do what it takes to? So I said, fuck it, I'm doing it, I am the person that I say that I am, so I have to do this shit that I say that I'm gonna do even when it's hard, even when it doesn't feel good all the time, even when it's complicated. When you are exactly who you are, there's no comparison. When you are the person that you know that you're meant to be, there's no comparison, there is no fucking competition, there is no playing field, it doesn't even exist, it's not real, it's not even there, like it does not make fucking sense. This is really what it takes and what I want you to do right now is I want you to picture the version of you that's five years ahead of you right now, the woman that you are in five fucking years, five years I want you to close your eyes and I want you to picture that bitch, okay? What is she wearing, what does she look like, what does she do, what does she settle for, okay? I want you to ask her right now, what do I need to do? What am I supposed to be doing right now? What am I supposed to be doing to get me closer to you? And she will look at you and she will tell you because deep down right now, you know where you are playing it small. You know right now where you are not in an embodiment with the person you know that you're meant to be. You know right now that you're talking to talk but you might not be walking the walk. You gotta be fucking honest with yourself right now and you've gotta get in rooms with people that operated this frequency and not the people that just tell you how fucking amazing you are the way that you are. You already know that you're amazing. You already know that you've gotten this far. You wouldn't have gotten this far if you weren't great. You wouldn't have gotten this far if you weren't good at what you do. Of course you're amazing, but you know that there's some things that you need to work on. You know that there's some things that you need to do better for you. You know that there's some things right now that are not a real embodiment of who you know you're meant to be and you cannot hide from that. And you can either pretend that it doesn't exist and listen to blah, blah, blah, blah. Beautiful affirmations, you're amazing, you're wonderful, all of these things. Like you can do that, but that's never gonna take away the fact that you've got some shit that you gotta tie up. You've got some things that you need to do that are better for you. You need to become more of the person that can show and not just so the much of the person that can tell 'cause anybody can tell, but the 1% can show. This is the kind of shit that I do in my mentorship. I'm gonna hold you to a higher level. I'm gonna call you out on your shit and I'm gonna refuse to allow you to play small if you're willing to do the work. Not gonna hold your hand, I'm not gonna kiss your ass, but I will be really honest with you of where you're not doing the things that you know that you're supposed to be doing because when you start becoming that kind of person and you elevate it a higher frequency, your confidence, your conviction, and your certainty skyrockets. The only reason why people are suffering with lack of confidence in their business or lack of confidence within themselves is because they themselves know that they are not doing what they're supposed to be doing. The best way to build confidence, certainty, and conviction in yourself is to do the things that you say that you are going to do. Keep the promises that you make with yourself. Don't tell people to do something that you're not doing. Don't be somebody that tells somebody that they're gonna do something and then you just don't fucking do it because that's what makes you not the best version of you and you deserve better than that. That's what this is about every day. That's what this is. Most people don't need help with, well how do I make better content? How do I do this? How do I whatever? You actually need to be the kind of person that you can show to the world that you are who you say that you are. That is the reality. Don't you think if it was just a content course or a messaging hack that everybody would be super fucking rich? If all you needed to do is just create and sell a messaging course, holy fuck. Do you know how much money I would make if all I did was sell content and messaging? That's like the most popular shit that people think that they need help with right now. If I just sold that, I'm a master salesperson. I could put that shit up there. I would make so many sales, but I refuse to sell the shit that I know is not actually gonna get peoples at the next level because it's not fucking ethical. It's the same thing that I did when I worked in the fucking fitness industry. I got brand deals and collabs that were worth thousands and thousands of dollars. I rejected every single fucking time because it wasn't an alignment of what I knew was actually going to help people lose weight. Every time, I'll never forget this one company. I'm not gonna tell you the name, but they sent me an email or it was almost a five figure offer and it was basically like a keto device. It was like a keto device that you blow into and they wanted me to promote it 'cause I had 250,000 followers at that point on TikTok and like 50 or no, not 50, probably 35 on Instagram and it was a really big deal but they wanted me to promote something that I didn't fucking use and I didn't agree with. No, I'm not going to talk about things that I know are not actually gonna elevate people to the next level. I'm gonna talk about things that actually fucking matter here and you wanna know actually fucking matters. Getting your mind right, getting your confidence up, actually being a leader that people wanna listen to, actually being somebody that embodies what they talk about, actually be a person of influence, actually be a person that actually gets results for themselves, that people wanna listen to, that people feel, that people gravitate towards. That's what this is actually about. I could say here all day and tell you that all you gotta do is fix your messaging. You just make a new hook and then all of a sudden you're gonna be rich. Just make this little tiny tweak in your content and you're gonna be worth millions and if you do this with your offers, you're also gonna be worth more money and it's gonna be so fun and you gotta do this, all of it is bullshit and people are literally selling shit that is not actually what's making the money. Like they're selling it because it makes them like low ticket money especially people that are not willing to invest. If you got a big audience, you got a fucking master class for 30, 40, 50, 100 bucks. You sell fuckload of them, it's a lot of money in this person's pocket but is it actually gonna fix your problem long term? No, of course not. No, I can make so much more money if I just sold one off things like this 'cause I could sell you a fucking messaging course in two seconds. I've done it before, but then I'm like, this is not actually what people need. People need this fucking work. People need a fucking wake-up call. People need to be told the truth and so many people are afraid of the truth because they're taught in marketing and this is actually what's true. You're taught, you wanna make sure that when you're talking to your prospect, you wanna create little resistance. You wanna make it easy for somebody to purchase. You wanna make it like, oh, they gotta get this. Like it's gonna make it so easy for them. Like, oh, like you're gonna be able to do this and it's not gonna cost you a lot of pain and a lot of sacrifice. Like I'm talking very typical Alex Hormozzi stuff right now. But then I think about the people that I work with. I'm working with fuckloads. an entrepreneur's baby. I'm working with winners. I'm working with people that want one percent lives. If you can't hear the truth, you're not cut out for this. And I mean that with love, because so many people are not willing to be honest with you. So many people are willing to say whatever they fucking can to you to get your money. I'm not that kind of person. I'm not going to sit here and tell you this is going to be easy. But what I will tell you is that you will have the time of your life becoming the best version of you and becoming a magnet for the people that you are meant to serve. And I know that you know this deep down that when you are the best version of you, the most embodied version of you, the happiest version of you, you will find so much joy because then you're truly living, you're authentic, you are yourself, you are just a fucking force, a freak of nature, the one percent. Yes, let's go. This is the kind of shit I know for sure that people need. And when people come into my world and they get my mentorship, that's like this and they hear the fucking truth instead of all of the dilly dallying. It's like they're fucking set free. It's like a fucking switch goes off. It's light bulb. Oh my god, I was doing this wrong all along because I was looking for the path of least resistance because that's what all of these people were fucking trying to sell me on social media. And I was buying a fancy lifestyle and I was buying fancy marketing instead of fucking buying what it took to actually become the person that I know that I meant to be. Oh, your life is going to change forever. That's what this shit is actually at the end of the day. When you're ready for this kind of shit and you're not looking to make excuses, you're not looking to talk about things, why you can't do it, you're not the kind of person that complains. You're the kind of person that looks at the life that you want and you're like, I'm willing to fucking do and become whatever I need to become to get to this level because I know my life on the other side of this, the other side of brave, the other side of becoming this version of me is everything I've ever fucking wanted and more. You know that the version of you on the other side of that is the version of you that changes your family legacy for fucking ever. You know on the other version of that is the version of you that's got so much fucking money in her bank account. You couldn't spend it all if you tried. That's the version of you that creates generational wealth. That's the kind of version of you that changes your family name forever. And so when a couple hundred years goes by and your great, great, great, great, great grandkids have wealth and they understand a different way of living their life. They understand abundance. They understand that money comes to them based on who they are, not all of these fucking bullshit things about how you were taught that money was hard to make when they look at you and they're going to be like, oh yeah, great, great, great, great grandma change everything for us. She was the one in our family that did it. She was the one in our family that showed us and broke these generational problems in the pain that all of the other ancestors had to endure, but she fixed it for us. And now we get to live like this. You're going to die one day and you're going to die and you're going to meet your maker and your maker is going to show you the life that you could have lived and the maker is going to show you the life that you have right now. And I pray for you that when you get to the end of this and when you get to the end of your time and your maker shows you the life that you could have lived or the life that you were meant to live, I hope it's the exact same thing as the life that you were living in that moment. I hope that it's the same, but it starts with you. It starts with you doing the shit that you know that you need to do. It starts with you getting real fucking honest and real with yourself. And it starts with you becoming the version of you that you know that you're meant to become even if it's scary, even if it's terrifying, even if you don't feel ready, you're never going to be ready. You just need to be brave and ready is a decision. I hope you love this episode. If you want more from me, if you want more mentoring, if you want more customized support, you know where to find me. Send me a DM on Instagram. I really hope this changed something for you and this does have the ability to change everything, but it's not about just thinking about it. It's about doing something about it.

Podcast Summary

Key Points:

  1. Many entrepreneurs plateau because they focus too much on "telling" (generic advice) rather than "showing" (embodied, personal experience).
  2. "Showing" puts you in a category of one—no one can replicate your unique story and lived wisdom.
  3. "Telling" without embodiment leads to imposter syndrome and attracts lower-frequency clients.
  4. Success requires being a walking, talking embodiment of what you preach—your actions must match your words.
  5. Instead of copying top earners' mysterious marketing, show your journey, struggles, and real-life decisions.
  6. Living as if a camera is always filming you ensures integrity and magnetism, attracting the right people.

Summary:

FAQs

Telling is simply stating facts or advice, while showing involves sharing personal stories, experiences, and behind-the-scenes moments that demonstrate your embodiment of what you preach.

They plateau because they rely too much on telling rather than showing, which makes them blend in with competitors instead of standing out as unique.

By showing your authentic experiences and embodiment, you create a unique category of one that no one else can replicate, boosting your confidence and credibility.

They try to mimic the mysterious marketing style of established brands without having enough credibility, which fails because they haven't built the trust needed to pull it off.

When you embody your teachings, you become a magnet for your ideal clients because they sense your authenticity and conviction, making you more credible and trustworthy.

Complaining and blaming others lowers your energetic frequency, repelling high-level clients and keeping you stuck in a victim mindset that hinders growth.
