As many of you know, we're continuing our series for the legacy of wealth summit happening this May. And I have just been hanging out with our speakers, getting them better acquainted with you, sharing a little bit about what you're going to be unlocking and uncovering throughout this summit. And of course, I have another beautiful speaker here with me today. She really works a lot on the energy side of things. And I think that this is so important to really tap into the awareness of where we're at as we're building these businesses, as we're running our life, as we're looking at creating wealth from a financial standpoint, but also having a wealthy life in health and in energy and in love and in all the different components that come with it. So welcome to the podcast. I'm so excited to have you here. I would really love if you could just share a little bit about yourself, a little bit about the work that you do, so we can all get to know you a little better. Thank you, Sarah. I'm so excited to be here and so excited for this summit. I am a strategic mentor for purpose-driven women. That is my main sentence and that englows any woman who wants to build a meaningful business, a wealthy, abundant life, relationships. Even though I focus a little bit on business, we do business as an extension of ourselves. Yes, we do. So I cannot separate business and love and I don't want to. I love that. That right there is probably one of the most powerful things I have heard this week because we are so, so adamant to try to separate the two, but it is an extension of us. It's a passion driven through us, so yes, I love that. So can you tell us a little bit about what prompted you to do this work? What was that calling or that life transition that happened for you? That's basically a 30-year journey or nearly because I started out in alternative medicine. I started out with homeopathy and acupuncture and things like that helping people to heal their bodies. But to heal their bodies, they needed to do some lifestyle changes and they didn't want to. Obviously because we don't want to change. We want what's familiar, what's safe, right? So at some point I started learning about the nervous system and the genetic expression and so many different things to have people work with their subconscious mind. Yes, yes. Then I came across human design and then it made all sense. It's like a puzzle and now all the pieces are there, everything is in place and works. I think that's really beautiful and I know. I know so many people in my audience have always said, Sarah, are you going to teach human design and I always do that. They're so much too unpack in this whole human design process. And I am very much a, my mom always calls me a study nerd because once I get tapped into one thing, I go through the whole spider web and then I go, I don't even remember where I started. So I have pulled back and gone, nope, that's going to be someone else's area of expertise. I will not pull that into the work I do. So I love, love, love that you, you know, you bring this to the table that you bring this to the summit. It's a question that I have been asked so much. It's something I know that would benefit me more to explore and understand. And so, yeah, tell us a little bit about how you're going to be bringing this into the summit into your masterclass. So I'm not teaching human design. I want to make this very clear. I use human design to help people. Yeah, that's very, very different because as you say, human design is incredibly big, deep, profound if you really go into it. Yes. But at the same time, there are three things that if you start living these three things, this is like 70% of what you have to do. It's the basis of everything. And if you start doing these three things, your life will change 100%. And you're going to share these in the summit, right? But I can say it now, because everybody knows it or has heard it before. It's your type, your strategy, and your authority. It means how your, we have four energetic types in human design. You're one of four, there are no mixed types. Each type comes with what we call a strategy. It means how we operate best in the world. And then there is the inner authority and that's your emotional decision-making compass. Yes. You do one thing and that's aligned with that compass. You will have so much peace in your life. Oh, yes. We all need boundaries. I can't tell you how big. I think this is incredible. And one of the things that I've come to recognize with 21 years in business is that it's a constant chase for so many of us to try to understand what is the right strategy for my business. And so, so few of us stop to look at, wait a minute, I'm the one operating the strategy. What is my operating mode? And so when I think of human design, I do think of it almost like an operating mode that we embody. And when we learn how our operating mode is, we can then go apply strategy because, and you can tell me if I'm wrong, because we then tend to understand what the right one actually is for us versus trying all the different things. We know how we work better and how we can show up from that aligned state versus. Oh, so and so's doing this, I'm going to do that. And then realizing that we can't actually run through that process because that's not how we show up. Like some people really like to try, you know, being in 15 different projects at the same time, but their design style is more of a, you know, something different and then it just doesn't work for them. That's true. And to be honest, when we, so what I was talking about about human design is the general setup for every human being, right? When it comes to business, there is so much more interesting stuff in there. There is our brand is in there. Our public role is our brand. There is our ideal client. There is our ideal communication style. There is our purpose. I call it the four cornerstones of purpose, which is your life's work. What grounds you? What is your highest brilliance? And also what is the thing you came here to learn in this information this time? Yes. It's all in there. And when you bring these things together, then you have really a tool to build a business that's fully aligned with who you are and that is resonating. Or that the people, your ideal clients are really resonating with you in your business. I love that. Yeah. So let me ask you as I'm sure so many of us are curious as we step into the summit, as we step into doing these different methods of work. Is there a point of resistance that you see people sort of stumble upon as they kind of step into the work that you do? And if so, coming sort of into the summit, coming into learning what you teach, is there anything that we can prepare for to better receive the lessons from you? And maybe be more inclined and in tune to go into the implementation. I think I must clarify something. My talk is not called something about something. No, no, I know, I know. I talk about burnout. And why burnout is not what you think, right? Yeah. So it is much more focused on the person and human design is just one of the tools that I use. Yeah, so I talk about it, but it's not the center of the talk. Nevertheless, yes, it's funny that you asked, yes, you can prepare for my talk because I have prepared something, a nice little PDF that is a worksheet and that you can take to see where your energy is not properly allocated. And why are you wasting energy where you have a structural signal? Because all of our, what we sometimes call as a mysterious behavior, right? We say, I don't understand why I do this or why I don't do this. I know I should do this, but I just can't make myself do it. That is the point that is so hard for us to grasp. Yes. That is a mixture of certain configurations in your human design, early childhood conditioning and habits that, and maybe traumas that you have put together over time to create your operating motives for every day, create every day life. Yes, yes. And that's tiring because it's not aligned. So we cross it and we burn out. Yes. And when we look at where we put our energy, then we start to get a little bit of clarity. Yeah. What do you say there's one area that you see often is where we tend to trip up? Is there anything that has ever stood out in your work that you got? This is such a common thread for people. I think it's boundaries. Yeah. Setting boundaries is, it's a broad topic. And again, we think it's about behavior and it's not. It's about the structure underneath. It's about the patterns underneath. That's the core of what I do is I do look one level deeper. I always look for the pattern, the structure in the subconscious mind. Yes, it's keeping you doing what you do. And we've all been there, right? I said, I was going to commit to this or not do that anymore. And actually I just did that last night. I said, I swear I wasn't going to do this again. Why am I doing it? And I was like, okay. Exactly what you said, Sarah, you've got to pull back and ask when this, this someone had asked something off me. And I said, next time I asked, the answer is no, no, no, no. And they asked and of course right out of my mouth without even pausing. Oh yeah, sure. I'll take that on. And then I stood back and went, why did I do that? I said I was going to say no. So I think we all have it. And maybe, you know, maybe you touch on this in the work you do, but it really does come back for me to even micro moments. Like sometimes it's, it's bigger things, but sometimes it's, it's commitment to self in the smallest way. You know, I'm going to get up 15 minutes earlier and I'll do it. And that programming and that understanding of how we're made up, how that's what's really running the show for us. And it is a process to unravel all of that. So I think that's, that's very exciting to be able to step into the space with you and do some of this work in the summit. Thank you. And it's also, I mean, yes, you're right. It's micro moments because it's what we do every day, every minute. But also there is a subconscious part to it that sometimes I call it blind spots that you cannot find yourself. I had a conversation with the woman, like 72, 73 years old, and we were talking about money and wealth. And I was mentioning subconscious patterns, and I was telling a story, and suddenly she said, now I know, now I understand my money story. And I said, tell me, what are you talking about? And she said, she told me that story of 50 years ago, when she was in her 20s, and she had her first well-paid job, and she went to visit her parents. And her mother asked her, how much money are you making in this, in this position? And she answered her honestly thinking her parents would be happy for her. Instead, what happened was her mother leaned back, crossed her arms over her chest and said, you're dead and I never had that much money. Oh, that was in my crew moment that created for her a secret vow. I call it a secret vow, a secret promise. I will never make more money than my parents. Yeah, that's her in scarcity, with the like a ceiling for the money she could earn for 50 years. Yeah, as you're saying it, I'm thinking of all the little micro moments and all the things, right? And it's, and you know, and I love this story because I hate to say this because you may hate to call out what's sort of happening in the industry, but we hear so much like, you could uncover the blocks, and they're very, they almost simplify it too much that people go, but that's, that's not me. I don't even resonate with that. You know, I always hear money doesn't grow on trees, and yes, a lot of us heard that as children, but if that's not the thing you heard because that's so generic, sometimes we don't see it, but when we tell stories, sometimes we see ourselves in those stories, and it's why I love the power of storytelling, you know, teaching and storytelling because when we hear things, oftentimes people go, oh, yep, that's me. That makes sense. Been there. That was what was said to me and it lands differently. Yeah, but it's also true that this, the social conditioning, all these things like money doesn't grow on trees, are things that most of us have heard. Yeah, but we're just so, yeah, we know that. We have not only heard it. We have assimilated it and made it our own truth. Yes, we don't see it as a block. Yes, but exactly. Yeah. Yeah, and there are. There are so many little things that we pick up over the years and they become an identity, right? They become an identity and then they become a pattern and we live that out and then we kind of go, how did I get here? How did I get to this place? This is not where I intended my life to go. So very, very exciting. I love this work. I think, you know, so many of us can benefit from understanding the sort of the patterns within the patterns and how it leads us to overextension and burnout and overwhelm and often doing things that don't really align with who and I always say how we want to be versus who we want to be. I think how we are makes up who we are, right? And so, yes, I'm very excited for that. So is there anything else that you would like to share anyways that we can connect with you ahead of time? We'll link your freebie in the show notes. I spoke. You can visit my website. I guess you will put all these things in the show notes. So, yes, you can join my email list if you want to. I don't post very much. I don't post when I have something to say. That's okay, right? It's aligned and it's in tune and the universe sends you the message and you just download it when it's right. Perfect. Okay. Enjoy. All right. Perfect. Well, thank you so much for being here today. I really appreciate that. I think there's so many of us who are really going to benefit from this session and this time with you. You know, burnout, identity, all of these things are so very real and so complex. So having a space to just drop in and be intentional and here and receive and do some work. I really appreciate that. That's something that you can bring to the table to the summit and to everyone who's attending. Thank you for having me. I found a way to start. Sorry. All right. Bye everyone and I will see you in the next episode.

Your type is one of four energetic categories that defines how you operate best in the world. Your strategy is the optimal way to engage based on your type, and your inner authority is your emotional decision-making compass that guides aligned choices.

You can download a free worksheet linked in the show notes that helps you assess where your energy is misallocated and identify structural patterns causing burnout.

A secret vow is an unconscious promise you made, often in childhood, that limits your behavior. For example, a client made a vow never to out-earn her parents after her mother reacted with envy, capping her income for 50 years.

Storytelling helps you see yourself in others' experiences, revealing blind spots that generic phrases like 'money doesn't grow on trees' might not trigger, because you've assimilated them as personal truths.
