Happy Wednesday, everybody. It's the middle of the week. And you know what? It's feeling like the middle of the week. It is. We have officially hit that pocket of August where everyone's doing jack shit. You know what I just felt like? Remember when Harry Styles was doing press for Don't Worry Darling and he was like, it feels like a movie. I just did that with the days of the week. I said, and it feels like the middle of the week. Do you know what? Today's the podcast episode and it's just going to, it's going to feel like a podcast. It's just going to feel like a podcast where we're just talking shit about nothing. I have been like, I don't know what to do with myself for the last two days. Like I- It's Matt gone. Yes. That's why. Okay. I didn't text that, but like the amount of times that you've texted in the last two days talking about how bored you are, like Matt must not be home. No, he's not here. He's traveling for work. So yes, we had to take a pause on Pilates by Izzy, but I've been doing my own workouts. But we had to take a pause out. Well, I haven't done Pilates by Izzy, but I have done other Pilates. I got you. But it's because he was like, good to do it without me. And I was like, I might. He's like, go ahead. But I'm like, you know what? We'll resume when you go back. He comes back on Thursday morning. But I was thinking about this and I was like, you know, I have things to do by myself, but like, yeah, I married him because I want to be around him 24/7. And when we're not around each other, yeah, you know what? I get a little bored. I'm like, it would be a lot more fun if he was here right now. Right, right, right. You are just, you are firing off texts. I feel like you're on your phone. I know. I'm actually being so annoying. And by the way, I bet you feel this as well, right? It's like, when we're away traveling for work, yeah, we're not bored because we're doing things. Yeah, great. When you're home and your partner's not home with you, then it's like, okay, I'm really fucking bored. Come home. Like, it's the opposite where I'm just like, what do I do with my hands? What, who do I bother at home with all my nonsense? So I've just been like texting so much. I said to my friends today, I was like, guys, I know that I have been texting way more than usual on the past two days. And I got to apologize because I mean, my God, I can't quit. I feel like you're just like getting ahead of things. You're looking ahead. You're, you're planning. You're taking care of that regardless. Yeah. Yeah. I like to have my things ready. You're ducks in a row. And by the way, planning for one, it's on Thursday. I'm planning for it's Tuesday. Oh, no. I just met a, I just met in general, not even that one specific thing. I just feel like, you know, you're just making, making, making sure things are organized. Well, while I have the time, I might as well. Yeah, acting like I'm so busy all the time. That's not true. But that is the one thing we're having a dog comes into play as like, when Joe is gone. I got a little buddy. Yeah. It's, it's more just like because I'm in Jersey. Yeah. There's not a lot of people over here. Yeah. But I've kept myself occupied, you know. But it's like, all right, come home now because I have more fun when he's here. And that's, sue me. That's why I married him, you know? Yep. That is true. That is why. Yeah. I did do something crazy. I got, went to go get my nails done last Thursday. And the nail salon was like, you have to take a break because my thumbs kept breaking. And I'm doing the hard gel. And I don't have acrylics. It's my, it's my real nails that I've grown out long with hard gel on top. But they kept breaking. And there was an incident she was, you know, like cutting, I was like, why don't I just do do them short and then put the hard gel on top. And when she was cutting it, something burned so bad, you know, when they're like, yeah, in the light, in the tool. No, when she was doing the tool, like, oh, you know, when they, if you ever chopped your nails off from when they're really long to go really short, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, they're like the buzzer. The buzzer. Yeah. It caught my thumb. So bad. And I, and I actually went, oh, and jumped out of my seat. I was so embarrassed that I reacted that way because usually I just play through the pain, but it was so bad. I couldn't even, it just, it was a, oh, a reflex. I just jumped. And then she didn't like that reaction at all. She was like clutching her chest like, you scared me. And I was like, oh, it just really hurt. And then she was like, well, I didn't do anything wrong. I said, no, no, I'm not, I'm not saying you did. Right. And then we had this little back of worth. I was like, no, I'm not saying you did. It just, it just hurt. It wasn't me with me. Yeah. And then she was like, no, no hard gel. You're going nothing bare. Your nails need a break clearly. So I got reprimanded. And I walked out of there like, okay, bare nails, clear polish. I'm a new woman having had this in years. Thought I was going to love it. Thought I was going to be free. This shit is getting caught on everything. Yeah. No, I, it's getting caught on everything. Because now they're breaking without anything on it without anything, anything hard, keeping it together. Right. And they're just, they're just frail. And they're getting caught in my hair. They're getting caught on blankets. I'm just like, they're getting caught everywhere. And I don't know how does, how does it feel texting because I ever call when I had short nails, I'm sure I didn't think what I, when I caught them short, I don't know, maybe last year, I forget what exactly was not the point, not the point. But I'm so used to texting with long nails that when they went to short, I was hitting all the wrong buttons. Like could not do it right. I actually love it. I love texting without them. And I, and I love not having to hear my click lock. You know, when you like, I know what yourself with your clacking. Yeah. And then last night, I was on my laptop. And it was so much easier to type on the laptops. Well, that's so hard with longer nails. It's very hard to type. We do not have a type on laptop type job. No, or else, I would, or else I would not have nails like this. No, I was simply shopping and typing in my address. And it just felt so much easier to do. You should see me when I try and type of these cells. I literally have to do like, I'm like, button, button, button. Yes. It's so hard. It's so hard. So I was feeling so free until today. Now my two point your fingers are, they're, they're coming off. I don't, I don't want to get them done. I'm stuck in a crossroad here. Now I'm thinking, should I do press ons? Oh, just in the meantime. Maybe. I don't feel like getting them done. I felt like I was free for a little bit. The, the smart answer is probably you don't put anything on them for some time and let them get back to some strength. But no judgment from you when you see my botched ass nails and you're like, ew, you have nothing on your nails. And they're falling off. As long as they're clean, that's let, you know, when they're outchipped, yeah, those look nice. But look at the, look at them peeling off, but they look nice. Well, she's, you still kept them kind of long in all honesty. No, no, they're short. No, I know they're short preferred. They're your real nails. Like the fact that you even still have the little white on the top, you know, like you, I'm, she, she didn't cut them like really, really short. You still got a little growth on them. Right. But then that would just be nubs. That would be yucky. Well, I know. That's on my fingers at least. To be honest, you have scared me a little bit because the last time I went, this is going to sound I was literally like mother Gothel. My nails were, I think they were like curling. It's like my natural nails. Yeah, they were talent. Because I was doing the same thing is like my natural, it was my, let natural nails are long. And then you just, I do the hard gel on top of it. And the ends, like the body of my nails were just starting to go a little curved. And she with my nail tech was like, ah, you know, do you want them to be straight? So she didn't give me like full extensions extension. She put the extensions on like halfway up my nail. It's very confusing. Now I don't know what kind of appointment I need to make when I go back in. Do I need to do a gel extension? Do I need to do just a hard gel overlay? I don't >> No, but I'm going. I think I'm going at some point this week. Join me, come on over. No, I can't do it. I actually would have an identity crisis. Come on over. It will take, it will take, her say, looking at me and saying, like, you cannot do this. Until, until she tells me, you're going to keep doing it. I'm steep, I'm keeping, I'm keeping on this, like, you know what my problem is? I can't physically, like, when my thumbs are short, they are so nubby, it's just, it's, it just accentuates the toe of the, of the nail. We're like, you know, that you can kind of, I can have a little bit of a longer nail. I can kind of hide it. When this is short, it's just terrible. Yeah. I mean, listen, I don't agree, I'm not going to make you feel bad about your thumbs. I'm here to hype you up, but if that's how you feel, then that's how you feel. Yeah. I wasn't going to tell the Russian woman sitting across to me, no, like, when she told me, you're not getting your nails done, I said, yes, ma'am, were you at our place for different place? Yes, I was. Yeah. Oh, shit. Yeah. I hope I don't get her. She says, we're cutting these off. Good luck. Good luck. Because you're enjoying the bare nails, I mean, listen, I guess I should just let them, let them chill out for a little bit. That's where we're at. This is the right time to do it. Yeah. And the summer. Yeah. You know, I do want to say, because I mentioned Matt in the beginning, that I am loving the girl he's DMing me, that they find Matt to be hilarious on surviving bar stool because he genuinely is so funny on the show. And that one, especially because I love watching him and he was so nervous for me to watch him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I just was like, you're great. You're so funny. You're being yourself, like that's what it's all about. And I'm just so happy that people are loving him and thinking he's so funny because that's what I think about him and I love that. So a new episode is tonight Wednesday and then it's think five more episodes after that. So it's a very entertaining season. It has been entertaining. A lot going on. Tate is doing this thing where he's like lying in his confessionals. I guess he was like doing sarcasm. I took it as he didn't know that in your confessionals, you're supposed to be saying the things that other people don't know, like the confessionals is your safe space. It's like, here's actually what I'm doing. I'm fucking with everybody. Here's my actual plan. And then you go around and do your thing. Right. He was like playing a character the whole time. He's just like lying to the confessional camera. Yeah, yeah. I noticed that. Not what you're supposed to do. That is not what's supposed to happen. Yeah. I've been finding it very, very entertaining that the Sunday night ball challenge is one of my favorites. It is such a hard game and people get so mad at the penalties. And that's what makes it so fun. I remember on my season, they didn't air it, but Kirk was screaming his head off at me. Being like, you stepped off, you stepped off and I didn't step off. He just was like doing something like screaming for no reason. And I was like hysterical laughing, being like, you think you're going to scare me, screaming at me. I grew up with an Italian dad, Kirk, like, this is not going to phase me. People, it's such a hot-headed game that one and the penalties, you just, you got to believe the ref because no one else, you know, so you just got to go by that. So Matt crushed that challenge throwing-wise. If you would have got more balls to him, they would have won that, obviously, it's always easier to say that. But Fidelberg was fantastic as well. Nikki Smokes was cracking me out, being like, Fidelberg has a fantastic build on him. I've actually enjoyed Nikki on this show. Yeah, definitely. He made a video the other day that I saw that he was talking about watching his confessionals and wanting to speak better. But I like watching people just speak how they normally would speak in a confessional because then you know it's, you know, genuine. Yeah. Obviously, everyone's going to have a different cadence, Ron is a battle rapper. So he knows the- You know, he plays it up and he speaks like he's a poet sometimes. Right. So all the comparisons and whatnot, but- And he knows the right place to take a pause and make confessionals like. And then I thought, well, I'm not standing for that. Yeah. You know, it's like- I think Matt's been crushing his confessionals as well, making me laugh, floppie the whale. So tune in if you haven't been watching. It's very entertaining. It hasn't been great. I have been locked in as well. I like to watch- Yeah. It's become part of my nightly ritual, like as I'm doing my skincare and all that. Like, I like to watch it before bed and then if I, it's kind of a funny combo. I watch like the first half as I'm getting ready for bed and then I'll like pause it and then I go to bed and then I'll watch the second half. When I get up- Keeping you entertained. Yeah. It's crazy. I haven't started dreaming about it yet to be honest, but yeah. I had a dream last night that John Mayer came out as gay. Well, did you look at that? Yeah. I've read about that. I saw a giveaway on Instagram for tickets. I did. I see that as well. I've pretty much put that whole thing behind us, like it's just not happening and that's that, you know, what are you going to do? But yeah, watching surviving bar stool, I sometimes have to like take pauses and like some deep breaths because I find myself getting entirely too into it. Yeah. And I'm like, what did you say that? And I'm like, okay, chill out. It's already been filmed and it's not happening currently. Like you're not in the room with these people, Maria, okay? So chill out. It's hard to take it off. It's hard to take it off out of it after you've been in it. One of the best parts about playing the game though and it is what I miss and I actually posted on my story yesterday like, I just love talking shit. I do. I do. And you just got to own that when it's something you love. And I mean, that's what we do on this podcast. So clearly we love it. Yeah. But one of the best parts about playing the game is getting in the side rooms and being like, so what are you thinking? Okay. What are you thinking? Okay. I'm going to go tell them this. And then you run and then you do the like the exact opposite of what you're going to do. And then when you find out information, you pull somebody else and tell them a little thing for me. It's like, it just want big gossip. The game, it takes a lot of gossiping in that game and, you know what? That's where I shined, you know, because we freaking love some gossip, love some shit talking. And why not? I could shit talk about literally anything. I could do it about anything and stuff I don't even care about. It's like, well, why not, you know. You got compared to Charlie from next time. Well, that was felt odd. I didn't. And I'm all caught up on next gen to you. Right. Right. So you're like, I'm really in it. And like everybody on the show hates him. Well, they're kind of coming around on him now. They're like, Charlie had us in his room last night. And we all like order room service and like Ariana's flirting with Charlie, but like. But I didn't see myself being compared to Charlie's Accord. Yeah. On my Monday night. Yeah. I feel like the fans all find him to be pretty crucial to the show, but which is true. I'm not the first person on planet earth to say I love talking shit and love gossip. Everybody, everybody does because by the way, Matt and I were talking about this the other day. We were on a walk and we walked past all these individual groups. And you could just hear all of them talking shit and we were like, you know what? People just fucking love gossip. Yeah. They do. I do think gossip and talking shit are different. Yeah. I mean, there's levels to it. There's levels because you could be talking, you could be talking shit and it's like you're shitting on the thing or the person or not even the person, but the action of something, right? Yeah. Gossip. It could be facts. You know what I mean? Could be rumors, could be I could just be talking about facts, like it's like a opinion whatsoever. Right. It's like, here's the gossip, like it's a history book. This is what I heard and have no opinion about it. Yeah. So yeah, you're right. There is levels to it. And I love pretty much all levels, you know, for being honest. You know, the world could be too loud, too filtered and too fake, but not here, not with us and not with Rum Haven. Rum Haven is where the noise fades and the real comes out. This is where you can unbutton expectations and sip on what's true and what's natural. It was a good pause. I did think about reading. I did. Yeah. And then I didn't. Yeah, it's really just a two. Here's what I realized actually. And it's. I don't know how to word this correctly, but when your brain is like feeling free, and not much anxiety and all that, there's room to be bored. And sometimes that's nice, you know? Yes. Because when your brain is filled with all these anxieties, then it's hard to be bored because you're so focused on so much, right? Like your brain is so busy, you're not even bored because your brain is so cluttered. So I'm actually taking my brain and me being bored as a good thing. A little bit of a privilege to be bored. Because rarely. Exactly. Rarely do we have the opportunity where things are quiet enough to be bored. Exactly. Exactly. Soak in that boredom, honey. I am. Soak in it. And I'm really excited because Thursday, I sound like I'm trying to fill a word count. Because there's no topics. So on Wednesday, I'm literally trying to fill a word count up an MLA for bad at essay because there are no topics. Well, we can tease. We do have a great guest coming in on Wednesday. We're really excited for the episode. It's going to come out late next week. So stay tuned for that. Yes. No. And that's, and that's that. Yeah. I was on TikTok this morning. And I ended up tearing up to myself. Yeah. And I feel like this happens to me once or twice a year. Right? End up on like a Ben Affleck, Matt Damon wormhole, where I just really appreciate their friendship. That happened to me after seeing the Odyssey. And it makes me feel emotional. Yeah. Like I was just watching compilation videos of the two of them with each other and talking about each other. And honestly, with the amount of research I've done on this, I did not realize it went as far back as as Matt Damon being 10 and bending eight. Oh yeah. Like that is childhood. I thought they were teens. Childhood. That's crazy. And it's beautiful. And the fact that they have stood by each other side, this friendship is so strong. And you know, Ben's been through a lot and Matt's there for him. It was making me emotional. The level of loyalty is fairly unmatched when it comes to Hollywood, but that's because they've really, like you said, have known each other since they were kids. It's really, it's really lovely. It's actually a very fun TikTok rabbit hole to go down. I have done that before where you're just getting fed or I've gotten fed videos when Matt is doing a lot of press. Like he has been recently where it's where it's just compilations of Matt Damon bringing up Ben Affleck, like unsolicited interviews. It's just like different ways that he will find ways to bring Ben Affleck into the conversation. And I was like, that's so sweet too. It is. It's really nice. It just was warming my heart. I'm like, you know, you just don't see this that often in Hollywood. A lifelong friendship like this. No, that is very beautiful. And then on the other, the other side of that, do you remember when Kate and William got married? Absolutely. I know exactly where I was. And Pippa Middleton's ass took the world by storm. Yes. And now if you look back, you just go, why? It was flat as a board. And that, okay, that sounded fucked up. I don't mean it like that. I just mean in the way that the media was talking about Pippa Middleton was like as if she was carrying around an 18 wheeler on the back of her. It was like, holy shit. Pippa Middleton's bum bum has the world going crazy. Right. Now when you look back on the pictures, you're like, what? What was everybody so up in arms about? You know, I really think that it was just because people hadn't seen it. But you can't see it in this image picture either. No, not. But you know what I'm saying? It's like, if you, when you look back on the pictures, you're just wearing a tighter dress. And nobody, no, I know. Believe me, I get what you're saying. It's, it, when you really go back, you're just like, this is a quote from the daily news from February 26th, 2014. And she was asked about the dress. And she said that it fit a little too well. But, but the wedding was in like 20, like 2010, right? Or 2009? The wedding was in 2011. 2011. Yeah. Yeah, it's so wild. Like, I can't believe the pictures when you go back. I'm not quite sure why that's the attribute that people latched on to, you know? Right. And I think it was just like she was in a form fitting dress. Right. And that just like blew everybody's mind. Yeah. I mean, here's the thing. I'm actually feeling incredibly bad about saying flat as a board because that is so rude. And I apologize. That's not what I meant by it. I just meant that she looked fantastic. And people were talking about her ass as if it wasn't like a surprise, surprise Kim Kardashian reveal. No. And like, acting like she couldn't fit her ass through the doors of where they were getting married. Yes. Yes. Yes. It was it was discussed as it if it was like earth shattering. Yes. No, it's so wild. I mean, a lot of those things were so wild back in the day. Like, yeah, I think everyone's just like the royal family where if someone are associated with the royal family, like wearing like a four, like a tight dress was just just not done in that way. So it's like I feel like she can't got out of the car and everyone's just blown away at how great she looked really. It was because that because that was fantastic. Everybody was obsessed. Yes. For years with like that dress and the way she looked specifically at the wedding and wanting to copy that dress. People copy that dress for their own weddings. And then I watched the Lifetime movie, the Will and Kate Lifetime movie. If anybody's seen it, it's the actress that is on Grey's Anatomy. And what did that movie come out? Lifetime, Will and Kate, I think it was like a light, a love story, Will and Kate. - Will and Kate. - Yes, I remember this. - It came out before the wedding. So it came out in April 18th, 11 days before the wedding. - Before the wedding is crazy, but it was Camille Luttington and I was so obsessed with like I bought it on iTunes. I had it on my laptop, I watched it all the time. Like movies that came out around the same time that were like the same press. Like first daughter movie came out in 2004 and Chasing Liberty came out in 2004. Same year, same situation, same premise. I miss them both. - Like the president's daughter that just wants to fall in love and run away and be her own independent woman. Katie Holmes is going to college and falls in love with what she thinks is a student but is actually a secret, secret agent that the president sent to watch her. She thought she was getting the freedom she wanted but in reality, I'll never forget this. - I didn't see this one. - Red, he shoved certain. And what, let's talk about being old. That man, the love interest is the father on my life with the Walter Poise. Really? - Yes. - He plays their fucking dad. I'm like, god damn it. - Oh man. - But there is an iconic moment. He pushes Katie Holmes into the car after an incident and she moves over for him to get into the car with her and he pulls out, he pulls out his little like walkie like into his mic and he's like, she's safe and there's like slams a door and the car drives away. Oh my god, it's some good stuff. Chasing Liberty is Mandy Moore. She's just looking for a vendor. She wants to travel. She just kind of runs away. All's love with the guy who also security. (laughing) A lot of similarities here. - A lot of similarities and I really loved both of them and I watched them a shit ton. But the will and Kate won. I think I watched endlessly. - Yeah, I feel like if you're a newer listener, people don't even realize how much you love or you still love the royal family. - Yeah, they're happy. - Like you really, when we first met, you loved the royal family. - Well, peak will and Kate was just the best. Like obsessed with their love story, obsessed with how they met, obsessed with the whole thing. And I also am obsessed with like the fictionalized version of it that's really played up for this. There's a book series called The Royal Wee that's so fucking good that is also kind of a play on their story that is exceptional. And honestly, I'm due for a reread. I haven't read it in a while. That are really, really good. But same kind of vibe. But you know, things just took, things have gone dark and sad. Things took a turn, but like when the family separated and the queen died. - Yeah, yeah. And really that's, my loyalty was with the queen. I don't have that. Because I feel like if I was a therapist, I would be incredibly nosy. Yeah. What does he look like? Well, he has a thing. Because the reason why you're not a therapist, fair, completely fair, but I'd also like you're telling me about your bitchy friend. A visual in the sense of it's like if you're going in and you're talking about the same person every week for like months, right? I think then maybe it gets to the point of being like, I got to see this guy. I got to like, I got to Google this person or something. And maybe you may not even have their last name though. So you never know, right? If I come in like, and I was just, I'm talking about Sally, like, my therapist be like, I don't know, what reference points you have to even try and find this person? Probably going into your Instagram, going into your following and type in. Which I think is, I think is like, I think you can't be doing that. I also don't think you, I don't think it's a therapist. You're following your client's on Instagram. No, I bet you certainly wouldn't want my therapist following me on Instagram. No, no, no, no. But I believe that there is, they could look though. It's just like a same kind of thing. Big catching up on TV. I'm really into this book. I've been, I was reading all last night, all during the weekend into the blue is our same page book club book this month. And I, I unfortunately like, I'm prepared and I don't know if this is like gonna be, if people will want to hear this or not before reading it. But Gea posted herself basically sobbing at the end of this book. So I was like, well, you could kind of take, could take a guess what direction this is all heading it from when you're reading it. And you kind of feel that pretty early on anyway, but it's a very, it's a unique story and a really good book. So I've really been locked into that and just catching up on, on some TV with, with Joe. And that's kind of been, it's sort of a little bit of a boring week. You know, it's so crazy, though I did see this. So Olivia Deans, I'm playing at MSJ. She played this weekend, Tuesday's her last night here. She did put a cap on, on resale tickets. Like tickets went on sale, there was, there's a whole process if you bought tickets early, the dynamic pricing, all these things was like once you found out everything that was going on, she sort of like put an end to it. So you can't go on ticket master anything and find resale tickets. Of course, other market, second market sites have it and stuff. But there's, there's so expensive. So I guess some people on, and I don't know, I don't know if she like told people to do this or if someone told them to do this, I don't know. I didn't even know this was still a thing that you can do. But I guess Saturday, Friday Saturday, I believe the shows were, there were people going to the box office at like 4 p.m. waiting in a pretty short line and getting tickets. Which, and then that was like all over TikTok. And now turn into a disaster. Like Monday and Tuesday were two shows. And people were lined up at 7 a.m. 8 a.m. I saw videos, I saw TikToks of people commuting to work and they're like, the line is through the MSG lobby down 7th Ave up 31st all the way to 8th Ave of people lined up to try and get tickets. And it's like this system, I mean, I gotta be honest. Why is the raising system for everything? It's so broken, it's like, why can't it be easier to get tickets? I know, I know. And it's so crazy to me that got to the point where it was like those people who got in early, amazing lucky. And then I got to the point where they were like, you waited in a line. And then they gave you a number or like a wristband. And then you had to wait longer or come back. And then they were letting certain people into the lot, only certain number of people into the lobby. But then like, security is telling people, they still have tickets. But it's like how are all these people also just waiting all day long? I, yeah, I mean, I'm just straight to get these tickets. And it's so crazy. I'm like reading the tick.com. It's I was locked in. There's people being like, oh shit, like I'm all the way out 31st and eighth. Like can you get me ticket? Like people going back in the comments trying to get tickets. It's crazy that there isn't an easier way to get reasonably priced tickets to a show for like the artists that you want to see because they were selling them. I saw people were posting videos of when they got in. They were like, I bought this ticket at 6 p.m. at the box office on Friday. And I'm in lower level. And I bought the ticket for $150. And everyone was like, oh my god, like all the comments freaking out. Now, obviously, that's why there's what seemed to be thousands of people trying to get into this show. I'm like, well, clearly there's not that many seats left. There couldn't be. Yeah, I feel like this is all madness that I can't really understand why it's so hard. It's also like, where were these tickets coming from? I don't know. Where like the MSU box office just has all these tickets from where they didn't sell them? Right. It's feels very backwards. I know. I was so confused because I was just like, I don't. And I know they stopped doing the resale thing, but then it was like, did that therefore just stop the sale of some of the tickets that already been sold? I really, I don't know. I don't know. But I was like, I don't know how there's so many tickets to just be bought. Yeah. I can't get in a way with this. I don't know. Ticket places. I know. It's really a head scratcher. I know. It really is. So if you got to, if you got to see Olivia Dean, you got lucky because it really seemed to be like jumping through hoops to get into this place. Right. It's becoming like you have to do flips and tricks and perform in a circus to go see your favorite artist. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I did see people who are pretty happy about I guess this new Spotify thing that they're rolling out. Where if you're in the top percentile of listeners for an artist that goes on tour, that you get like an exclusive pre-sale, which is a good idea. I saw some people talking about that with with Joner's brother shows. I saw people who were on tic-tac that were pumped about it and got great seats and then I saw people who were not pumped about it. I think it really depended on, think it really depended on your location because some people like had no issue getting a ticket and then some were like, why can I, I'm a top listener. Should I be getting a floor seat? Like so I don't know. Yeah. It's really a toss up. Really all over the place. But regardless, it's like, and it's got to be overwhelming for the artist too. Olivia Deans has skyrocketed in the last year where she's doing four, five, four nights in MSG. To the point where I don't know like for them, you throw your arms up too. I don't know how to help. I don't know how to help people get into this place either. It's so complicated. Doesn't make any sense. I don't even know what to tell my fans and how they should get tickets to my show. Right. The artist is probably just as confused as the fans and frustrated that it's going to seem like it falls on them when it's not on them. Yeah. Exactly. For topics today, I mean, really a lot of what's being discussed is Hayden Penetier and her unfortunate passing. A lot of looking into past interviews and details of what may or may not have happened feels wrong to like sit here and speculate on all that and kind of harp on the bad when she brought so much joy and light and great films and TV to so many people. And that's what we love and enjoyed the most. So just want to keep it on that note. Yeah. It's so sad because I think when a celebrity passes, there's a moment of shock for everyone and then like the public starts pointy figure fingers and they want answers so fast. And right now it's like pointy fingers. I've seen 9 million TMZ posts about this boyfriend. It's just a lot where there's a lot of speculation where you don't know what's going on and all these sort of resurfaced videos. And I my heart breaks because there's been some beautiful statements from people that have worked with her, her ex who's the father of of their daughter. And she has a relationship with her mom, I think, was pretty estranged. And that was a little bit of a head scratch to I know old clips are going viral again. They went viral originally when she was doing all this press. But I had not realized that she spoke on Jay Shetty and Jay Shetty put out a beautiful Instagram post as well that she was basically fired from Neutrogena after she talked about postpartum depression on live with Kelly and Michael, she said like on TV. It was like it wasn't something I planned to. There was some sort of like morality clause in her Neutrogena contract. She had been working with them for 10 years. And the postpartum depression, it wasn't like a plan topic, but it had just come up naturally and she talked about it. And the Neutrogena wanted to end their relationship with her after that. And you know, I think her lawyer someone said, you know, well, that's illegal. You can't do that. But when it got to the point of like doing another year, it wasn't renewed. Yeah, it's so insane. I mean, it's so disgusting. I don't even can't even wrap my head around that really sick. I'm really so sick. And I genuinely can't wrap my head around why that would make somebody stop working with you. Like, I don't understand how it's infuriating. I know. It's genuinely infuriating. And I know it's like, well, why weren't people more outraged when this happened or when it was talked about? But these sometimes these things get buried. I never even saw this happen. I know. It's only coming up now. Yeah. And then you feel like a piece of shit because you're like, I wish I knew about this. And I wish I saw it when it was talked about. And unfortunately, I didn't. And that sucks. It really does. It's really infuriating. It's disgusting. I can't wrap my head around that. Like, can you imagine sitting in a room with people and being like, hate and penance here talked about her postpartum depression. We're not renewing her. Like, what the fuck does that even mean? Where does that even? How does that even add up? That doesn't stick with what we stand for here. But then do you stand for with neutrogena? What do you stand for then? If that's not what you align with. Like, yeah, not good. Somebody opening up about their postpartum depression is not something women can control. Yeah. Like that, you know what I'm saying? Like, that's it's just insane. And should be encouraged to be discussed. To talk about it because people suffer and, you know, yeah, unfortunate things happen. So yeah, it's um, it's crazy. And I feel just so sorry for her. And, uh, I know, I just feel like, you know, talking about child actors and being this business. And there's just more stories about that. I see that the Earls are doing their press. They started their press for Oral Meets World. We got the poster, the trailer comes out. Um, I think the poster is very reminiscent of Kardashians back in the day. I don't know if they totally purposely did that. I'm sure maybe there was a play on it where it's like, you know, Kim Kardashian was the front and center of all the kids on the back. Yeah. So we got to play on that. Uh, I've seen Ashton Earl make a tech talk being like, I don't stand with any of the behavior of what I did on that show. So I'm really interested in seeing this show because the way that Alex and Ashton have been talking about the show, they're like, they don't want people to see it. Right. Maybe that's a, that's a, maybe that's a marketing tactic. Yeah, yeah. If they're like, we don't want people to see this, I want to see it. Right. That can also just be such a fear with like a first season of reality show where maybe you're either trying too hard when the cameras are up or you're not trying or like you feel maybe like out of your body a little bit and you're not totally being yourself. And then when it's over, you look back and you're like, wait, what the fuck was that? Um, and on the other side of that Brooks Nader jumped into the ocean fully clothed with her shoes on as well. I was like, honestly, she lives a great fucking life. I would love to be reincarnated as Brooks Nader. My qualm is animated movies need to stop having such big names and they need to bring back like real voice actors. Like the new movie with Tennessee Shallame and Selena Gomez. I think the concept sounds really cute, but I just don't think Selena Gomez or Tennessee Shallame have like animated voices, like they're dressed their own same like the Super Mario movie Chris Pratt with Mario. I'm not interested in hearing Chris Pratt as Mario. I only hear him as Chris Pratt. I want like a Jim Cummings type who did winning the poo and voiced all of those other amazing iconic Disney characters and you'd never know that it was the same guy. Philly, but Fran, try man. Weirdly enough, I actually think she does more than Timothy because I just think she has like she's a very unique sounding voice. That can be I think adapted for more of like an animation situation. So it's like watching three episodes. I just don't think you, or whatever, how much if you only watch a couple episodes, I don't just don't think it gives you the whole, the whole thing. So I would say if you make it through one season and you're like, I absolutely do not like this, then I would never be like, you have to keep going. How long are the episodes hour or half hour hour? Okay. But hour like on TV is like four minutes, whatever, 48 minutes. Yeah. They're all. I'm actually looking right now. They're all 44 minutes. Okay. Ellie's the first from the first season. Well, I, and I am now more interested hearing somebody say they hate it because. And here's the thing. It makes me feel normal when someone says like, either they love something or hate something. And I know since then there have been so many new shows come out, you know, the summer I train pretty, off campus, etc. And I was wondering who currently is your your favorite teen drama boy or young adult. I'll draw my boy from a show. I know for me personally, Nathan Scott from One Tree Hill has been my favorite since I was growing up in the 2000s. But Conrad Fisher and Garrett Graham have definitely made their way up the list. So yeah, who's your favorite team from a boy? And yeah, I love your show.
