We're starting with the biggest story.
Several drones launched from Iraq, targeted Saudis east-west pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina
regions, resulting in injuries and damage.
The pipeline was shut down as a precaution, while emergency and technical teams secured
the affected areas and assessed its safety.
Those injured received medical care, although no official number has been released.
Saudi condemned the attack in the strongest terms.
Following a request from Iraq's prime minister, the kingdom said it would give the Iraqi government
an opportunity to prevent further attacks from being launched from its territory.
Saudi will not respond at this stage, but stress that it reserves the right to take every
necessary measure to protect its sovereignty, facilities, citizens, and residents.
Saudi is also mourning retired Major General Faleh bin Muhammad Al-Dahri, who passed away
at the age of 86.
His name is closely connected to one of the most difficult moments in the kingdom's modern
history.
In 1979, Al-Dahri was among the key field commanders involved in restoring control of the
Grand Mosque in Makkah, after it was seized by Juhamen al-Otaibi and his armed followers.
He was a brigadier at the time and commanded the King Abdulaziz, 20th mechanized brigade.
His service continued through several senior military roles, including leading Saudis
Northwestern region and King Abdulaziz Military College. May Allah have mercy on him, forgive
him, and grant him the highest place in Janna.
In diplomacy, Saudi women are continuing to take on major roles around the world.
Dr. Manal Radwan was appointed Special Envoy to the Foreign Minister for Negotiations
and Peace Efforts.
She joined Saudi representatives, including Wafa, Bint Abdullah Al-Marzuki.
The first Saudi woman appointed as a consul general, Amal Al-Malimi, the Kingdom's
Ambassador to Canada, and Asio Bint Sultan Al-Shahal, Ambassador to Sweden, and non-resident
Ambassador to Iceland.
Now for an important reminder from the Ministry of Hodge and Omra, visitors should not carry
six categories of items inside the two holy mosques.
Food and drinks, flammable materials, sharp objects, political flags and slogans, breakable
items, and incense and charcoal.
These are not new rules, but a renewed reminder intended to protect safety, cleanliness, and
the peaceful atmosphere of the holy sites.
A quick bag check before arriving can save trouble at the entrance.
Riyadh Public Transport also renewed its warning against Qatada, which means using a private
vehicle to transport passengers for money without the required license.
The penalty can reach 20,000 Saudi Riyals, with the vehicle impounded for up to 60 days.
Passengers are encouraged to stick with license taxis, approved ride hailing apps, buses,
or the Riyadh Metro.
Speaking of parking, Al-Nakeel is joining Riyadh's managed residential parking system from
Sunday, September 13th. Residents can register every vehicle for a free one-year permit through
the Riyadh parking app, with no limit on the number of vehicles.
