Speaker 1 Hey everyone. Welcome to today's story. Today we're going to listen to the story. Where's my teddy? And it's written by Jazz arbres. And this author is a really good author. He write some really, really good books. So if the title of the story is called, where's my teddy? I wonder, can we predict can we guess what might happen in the book I want. My shopping in the story. Well, let's look at the title. Someone is asking a question, they're saying, where's my teddy? So it sounds like maybe their teddy is gone missing. So, I wonder where they lost their teddy or where they put their teddy or where their teddy ended up and we know as well in the title it says, where's my teddy? So it mentions a Teddy so we know or were predicting while we don't know. We haven't read the story yet but we're predicting. And we're guessing that Maybe there's going to be a teddy bear in this story. So for now what I want you to do is our usual. Yeah you've guessed us sit back, make yourself cozy. Relax and let's listen to where's my teddy? Speaker 2 Where is my teddy? Speaker 1 Eddie's off to find his Teddy Eddie's Teddy's name is Speaker 2 Freddy. He lost him in the woods somewhere. Speaker 1 It's dark and horrible in there. Speaker 2 Help said, Eddie. I'm scared already. I want my bed. I want my teddy. He tiptoed on and on until something made him. Stop quite still look house. He thought there's something there. What's this? A giant teddy bear. Is it Freddie seddie? What a surprise. How did you get to be this size? You're too big to hug and cuddle he said and I'll never forget both of us into my bed. Speaker 1 Then out of the darkness clearer and clearer, the sound of a sobbing Cry, came nearer soon, the whole wood could hear the voice ball. Speaker 2 How did you get to be loaded Lee and small or too small total and cuddle? It said and you'll only get lost my giant sized bed. It was a gigantic bear and a Tiddly Speaker 1 Teddy stomping Speaker 2 towards the giant teddy and edgy. My turd gasps the bear and they screamed Eddie. Oh boy. Yelled the bear my teddy cried Eddie. Speaker 1 Then they run and they run through the dark wood back to their homes. As quick as they Speaker 2 could Speaker 1 all the way back to their snuggly beds, where they Speaker 2 huddled and cuddled Speaker 1 their own little Speaker 2 Ted's, the end. Speaker 1 That was a funny story. Wasn't us. Did you see what happened? Yep, the giant bear found Eddie's lost Teddy Freddie which was really small but she didn't realize that his own teddy bear was sitting in the middle of the woods and when Eddie went into the woods to try and find his Teddy, he found the Bears teddy bear instead, but at least they both got their own Bears back in the end. Speaker 2 Can you Speaker 1 remember though at the start Eddie was feeling a bit scared when he went into the woods? Yeah, and it's okay to feel scared at times is enough. Yeah. Feeling scared is, okay, it's normal. It just tells us, Speaker 2 oh, Speaker 1 there's something. We need to be careful about here. But, you know, wash. If you feel scared or nervous or worried, I wonder what we could do. Hmm. That's a brilliant idea. We can stop. We can take a deep breath. And if there's a grown-up nearby or someone you trust you can say it to them, you can say I feel scared or I feel nervous or I feel worried or it could be I feel happy or I feel Speaker 2 excises Speaker 1 or all those other different things that you can feel and I guarantee you that you're grown up or your adult will help you with us. Okay, and they'll help people, they'll either be excited or happy with you or if you feel a little bit worried or a little bit nervous about anything or lit but I'm just they'll help you through our Speaker 2 range of. So I think that's a good Speaker 1 lesson actually to learn from this book isn't as it's a good lesson to know how we feel about things and that it's okay to feel things and it's okay to feel all the different things that we can feel in. Even five minutes, let alone a day. But that there's always someone there might be maybe a mommy or daddy or a guardian which is someone who looks after you. It could be a teacher. Could be an Auntie and Uncle. It could be a guard. It could be a lollipop Crossing person. It could be so just a grown-up or an adult or someone older than you that that you trust and that you know, looks after you and looks out for you. So anytime You feel something that you're not quite sure of her that you're not quite happy with. Make sure you tell them, and I guarantee you, they will do everything they can to help you. All right? So that book today was called, where's my teddy? And I wonder our predictions were they, Speaker 2 right. I think they were we Speaker 1 predicted that someone was going to be looking for a teddy bear. And in this story, we saw that Eddie was looking For his teddy bear. But what we didn't realize was that the bear Speaker 2 was also going to be Speaker 1 looking for his teddy bear. That was kind of funny wasn't us and that was something interesting that we learned when we read the story. So as always, I hope you enjoyed listening to the story.
