When The Battle Is Beyond Us | Ptr. Alex Garcia

A blessed day, brethren. Welcome to the Jesus' Lord Church Worldwide Podcast. Thank you for joining us as we meditate on God's message to us through the Sunday Pritchings from Jesus' The Hiller episodes. With open heart, mind and spirit, let us pray that God would speak to us today. I will be sharing some simple exhortation that God plays in my heart. So the Lord gave me 2 Chronicles, chapter 20, in fact, the entire chapter. But we're just going to read the passages as the key truths within this passage and false, in the Bible, it's normal in the Bible, what is the Bible's name, and what is the nature of the Bible, what is the name of the Bible, so let me share on a message when the battle is beyond us. So, there are many ways to make us do it, to make us more and more aware of our resources, and to make us more and more aware of the voices of our voices. I'm going to tell you that there are many ways, in various forms, in various degrees, in various intensity. It's just simple, it's just simple, if it's in God's name, it's a sign number 3, it's just a sign number 5. It's just simple, if we're going to make it more and more aware of it, it's just a sign that God wants the intensity to bring us on our knees. It's just simple, if we're going to make it more and more aware of our resources, because we have a lot of things to do, but we have to do it in our own way. It's just simple, and you feel that you don't need God. But then situations that are going to happen will help us to remember, I'm not God, I need my God, and so your faith depends. We will face battles, personal battles, emotional battles, battles for the welfare of our family, battles and challenges in our relationships, In various occasions and situations in life, that life is not all about easy times, there will be hard times, and this is the second Chronicles chapter 20. The story is that there is this anointed king of Judah by the name of King Jehosh Shafat. And in the natural, humanly speaking, defeat is actually certain. And because of that, they discovered and they've experienced very powerful and shakeable truths that remain true until today. In this scripture, while the story unfolds, we know that the story of the story is not the truth of God. The central truth that we can see in this story is this, when the battle is beyond us, victory can only come from the Lord. So we've got to do a Christian response and we don't have to do anything because if we do anything wrong, we can do it, we can do it. We are in a different situation just to know the pain and the fear and the hurt that they feel within. The Christian way is turn to the Lord. So what are these at least three things among others that I would like to emphasize? The first one is very simple. It goes like this. They recognize God as their source of strength and victory. Everybody say, "Recognize." True strength begins when we admit our weakness and fix our eyes on God. When we admit our weakness and the pain of our eyes on God, we will believe in the truth. I promote because I am wrong. I am partly true but not the entire truth. So look at this verse in verse 3 to 4. Jehoshaphat was satisfied by this news and begged the Lord for guidance. He also ordered everyone in Judah to begin fasting. So people from all the towns of Judah came to Jerusalem to seek the Lord's help. And then in verse 12, Jehoshaphat declared, "O our God, want to stop them." We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. And I like the next phrase, "We do not know what to do but we are looking to you for help." In verse 12, the Lord said, "We do not know what to do but we are looking to you for help." It's okay to accommodate a healthy understanding of our humanity because we live in this world. It's a very imperfect world because of seeing no perfect relationships, no perfect family, no perfect face, no perfect situation, it's filled with imperfections, it's filled with brokenness, only God and His love and His promises are perfect. Hallelujah. It's a healthy recognition of our humanity so that we can put our mouths back when we have hard seasons in our lives. There will be times that crying can help us but it's not enough just to cry your heart out. You really need to truly recognize the very source of your strength and victory. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself said that in John 6, 33, "In this world you will have tribulations, you will be of good cheer for I have overcome the world." Anong Sabine Asaf, verse 25 of Psalm 73, "Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail and my spirit may grow weak, everybody reads with me the next phrase, but God remains the strength of my heart. He is mine forever." Hallelujah. So during that time, Jail Shafat and Judah as a nation, they fasted, they prayed. That's what we need to do. So when we do that, it's a problem for us to do that. I mean, every time you have problems, don't go to Facebook and don't go anywhere. When you have problems, go to God and you will go anywhere and you will be of good cheer for God. So we pray, we fast to access strength and power from God so that we will be sustained when the battle is beyond us. So with this, when accusations, trials or enemies around us, our first instinct must not be to fight in our flesh, but to fall on our knees, God is our first and final refuge. All right. The second one, they rehearsed God's faithfulness and covenant. That's in verse 6 to verse 9. What is this? Remembering God's past faithfulness builds confidence for today's battles. He prayed, "O Lord God of our ancestors, you alone are the God who is in heaven. You are ruler of all the kingdoms of the earth. You are powerful and mighty. No one can stand against you. O our God, did you not drive out those who lived in this land when your people Israel arrived and did you not give this land forever to the descendants of your friend Abraham? Your people settled here and built this temple to honor your name. They said, "Whenever we are faced with any calamity such as war, plague or famine, we can come to stand in your presence before this temple where your name is honored. We can cry out to you to save us and you will hear us and rescue us." In verse 7, the Lord said, "O our God, did you not drive out those who lived in this land when your people Israel arrived? What is it how shafa do it?" He rehearsed God's faithfulness and covenant. So that's what we need to do. When the battle is beyond us, we need to pray, but we need to do it. And when God is ready, He will be ready to rehearse, rehearse, and rehearse the past victories that the people of God will be ready. The cause of the war is the power of our God. Let's put it in verse 10. And now, see what the armies of Amen, Moab and Mount Sierra are doing. You would not let our ancestors invade those nations when Israel left Egypt. So they went around them and did not destroy them. Now see how they reward us. (Speaks in Arabic) "For they have come to throw us out of your land which you gave us as an inheritance. O our God, want you stop them." We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. We do not know what to do, but we are looking to you for help. (Speaks in Arabic) That's what we need to do. (Speaks in Arabic) But sometimes in one year, out one year. (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) But the real battle is a spiritual. So our enemies are not flesh and blood. (Speaks in Arabic) Remember that story? (Speaks in Arabic) I remember stories when Bishop Brother Eddie gave an altar call. (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) And I just believe the same God who proved himself faithful since time immemorial will prove himself mighty and faithful again with this fight that we are facing as a church family for the glory of God. (Speaks in Arabic) There are no battles that can defeat us if God is on our side. (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) Every time I pass by that place, I give you praise, I give you thanks. (Speaks in Arabic) (Speaks in Arabic) If he helped you before, he will help you again. (Speaks in Arabic) So, we've got to learn how to filter our thoughts and process our emotions as well. (Speaks in Arabic) And when you say the word of God, rehearse the word of God, hallelujah, I am more than a conquer through Christ Jesus who strengthens me in the face of this battle. The Lord will give me victory. What happens? I am improving my internal dialogue. So, how can we apply this, write down the times, God has answered prayers, open doors and turn defeats into victories. When lies come, let the memory of God's faithfulness silence the fear. The third and the last, they reinforce their trust in God while taking their stand. (Speaks in Arabic) But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions, then stand still and watch the Lord's victory. He is what? With you, okay? Or people of Judah and Jerusalem, do not be afraid or discourage, go out against them. Tomorrow for the Lord is with you very powerful part of this story, subverse 17. (Speaks in Arabic) As all the men of Judah stood before the Lord with their little ones, wives and children, the spirit of the Lord came upon one of the men standing there. His name was Jehaziah, son of Zechariah, son of Ben-A'ah, son of J-I-L, son of Matanahah, a Levite who was a descendant of Ezaph. He said. (Speaks in Arabic) Listen, King Jehaziah, this is what the Lord says. Do not be afraid. Don't be discouraged by this mighty army. Everybody read with me. For the battle is not yours, but God. (Speaks in Arabic) Tomorrow, march out against them. You'll find them coming up through the assent of these at the end of the valley that opens into the wilderness of Jehaziah, but you will not even need to fight. Take your positions. Then stand still and watch the Lord's victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow for the Lord is with you. Then King Jehaziah bowed low with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem did the same, worshipping the Lord. Endily vise from the clans of Khauhaith and Khauha stood to praise the Lord. They got a victory held with a very loud shout. Early the next morning, the army of Judah went out into the wilderness of the Khauha, on the way Jehaziah stopped and said, "Listen to me, all your people of Judah and Jerusalem, be living the Lord. You're God. Everybody say, "Believe in the Lord." Okay? And you will be able to stand firm, believe in His prophets, and you will succeed. After consulting the people, the king appointed singers, to walk ahead of the armies singing to the Lord and praising Him for His holy splendor. This is what they sang. Give thanks to the Lord, His faithful loved and doers forever. At the very moment, they began to sing and give praise. The Lord caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seer to start fighting among themselves. This is a very powerful story. Very powerful poem, "Praise and worship." So they prayed, they fasted, they prays and worships. In the midst of the military book, for the people of Judah to sing, they began to sing, "Who is the praise and worship team?" There's no such thing. If you are the one who sings, you will be the one who sings, you will be the one who sings, you will be the one who sings. God's praise. You are the one who sings. You will be the one who sings. You will be the one who sings. You will be the one who sings. You will be the one who sings. You will be the one who sings. You will be the one who sings. I like what Joseph Parjan said to trust God in the light is nothing but to trust him in the dark. That is faith. You will be the one who sings. You will be the one who sings. You're struggling by yourself. (speaking in foreign language) But would you cast your cares to the Lord? Make him your Lord, make him your Savior. Follow this simple prayer, reinforcing your faith in Jesus, (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) And I declare you are my Lord. You are my Savior. I don't know what to do. But my eyes are upon you. I declare you are my strength. You are my Savior. You are my healer. You are my strengthener. You are my miracle worker. You are my deliverer. You are my everything. I declare Jesus is my Lord. And my Savior will give the Lord a mighty hand of praise and you believe that to be so healthy. This is miracle time. You demonic spirit of fear and depression. Get out in Jesus name. We free, receive your deliverance. Receive your healing. We rebuke every demonic spirit of sickness and disease. There is a fleeting the body of anyone of God's people. We cast it out in Jesus name. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) The blessing of prosperity.
