Happy Friday, everybody. Happy Friday. Happy Friday. We're going to Vegas. We are. We're headed to Vegas. Yeah. Wow. It's been a while. Yeah. I mean, the first time I went to Vegas, I was in fifth grade. Yeah. That's really— Well, it's a different experience. It's an odd family vacation to take. There's a lot to do. It was awesome. Shows and magic. We went to M&M World. We saw magicians. Yes. A lot of magic. We got dragged through the casino, through the smoke and fire and everything, you know, while my parents gambled their life money away. And, yeah, that's— That's just the way it went. And that's just the way it went. Yeah. And I actually remember we showed up to the Flamingo in Vegas. Yeah. Which— Doesn't exist, right? No, it does. Oh, it does? The Flamingo— What just got knocked down? Maybe it was. Oh, no. Tropicana. The Tropicana. Okay. So the Flamingo exists. My parents, on their honeymoon, went to Vegas and then Hawaii. So they stopped in Vegas and went to Hawaii, and they stayed at the Flamingo. So this was, like, for one of their anniversaries when we went. And so we were staying at the Flamingo. Yeah, they wanted to run it back. They wanted to run it back. And we went into our rooms. Yeah. And, like, obviously, like, me, my brother, and sister are all sharing a room. And then my mom and dad. And my mom checked the mattresses and the beds, which she always did and has made me kind of a psycho with that stuff, too. We immediately left the Flamingo. Like, there was no staying at the Flamingo that night. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't remember where—or I think they might have just put us into a different room at the Flamingo because it wasn't like we could just go to any— Right, right, right. —hotel. They were like, no, we're staying here. Because then I do remember eating—yeah, yeah, the breakfast buffet was awesome because there was Flamingo. Sorry, I'm just recounting my first time in Vegas as a fifth grader. But it was awesome because I remember there were actual Flamingos. Real ones. Yeah, so I think they just put us in different rooms, and it was a whole thing, and it started off the night not great. But it was the first time I flew anywhere sort of far from, you know, the other side. And I remember being like, this flight was awesome. Like, I, like, slept the whole time. And I remember thinking it was so far. I was like, wow. It is. It is very far, and it's a totally different landscape. No, it was totally different, but it was awesome. You were in the desert? Yeah, we went to—we were in Arizona and Vegas at the same time, I remember, because we went to the Hoover Dam. Oh, yeah. Right? Yeah. Yeah. The Hoover Dam. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What a trip. What a trip. No, I'm very much looking forward to our Rumhaven event that we have on Saturday. If you're in the area, maybe you're going on a bachelorette trip. Yes, you got to sign up to come to the party. Maybe you're around, whatever it is, we're doing this Rumhaven pool party on Saturday, the Omnia. Mm-hmm. 1.30 to 4, I believe the time is. Local time. And you believe Kyle Cook is going to be there the same weekend. I think I saw that. Look, there's so many things that we're missing. Is that correct? Can we double check that? I think maybe Friday night? No. No, I think we're missing it by like a weekend. Friday. No, it's this Friday night, yeah. October 2nd. Oh, during the day. During the day. Ah. Oh, my God. So we're competing with him. I'll be there. No, ours is on Saturday. Oh, yeah, you're right. He's on Friday. Should I just go by myself? You should. You should go by yourself. I have like a full day. I have a full day by myself, basically. I really wanted to, I've just been waiting for the right thing to go to the Sphere. You know? I really want to go. Well, we're going to John Mayer. We missed all the Backstreet Boys. Yes, that's what I was going to say. I should have gone when it was Backstreet Boys, because that's way more up my alley. But I never considered myself like a massive Backstreet Boys fan to warrant going, despite how much people raved about it as a whole. They said it was awesome. And then I was like, ooh, ooh, let me type in, see who's going to be at the Sphere next while we're on this trip. Metallica. So that couldn't be more polar opposite of everything in my being. And the fact that we're going to be like in Vegas and Metallica fans are going to be running around. You know what's awesome, though? Well, can you imagine Enter Sandman in the Sphere? Have you ever watched? That would be incredible. Have you ever watched Metallica perform at Metallica? In Moscow? In Moscow? In 1980? Look it up. Metallica? Enter Sandman? I don't think I've watched Metallica perform ever. Oh, wow. This will give you chills. I mean, we're not going to be able to play it. I think it was in Moscow, 1991. Yes. This live is one of the best videos. It'll give you chills. So this was a free festival. Oh, that makes sense. Or a free show in the festival. I mean, look, the recommended video that plays next is Lars. You're going to go on with Conan O'Brien saying that that show was a mindfuck of a concert. How insane is that? Yeah. Yeah. To like watching it back is probably crazy for them. And then like be imagine being there. And you look back on this video. You're like, I was there. Yeah. Or do we have all the members of Metallica? That's a good question. Just like as the band stayed intact. Where if you're going to see them at the Sphere, it's they're all together. No. The bass player died in 1986. Oh. OK. OK. Well, that's been a while. I mean, yeah, that's a while. I just meant if there was anybody coming in or coming out, you know. Right. Not not necessarily death. Like if maybe if there's some people that left, left the band, came back or anything of this, anything of the sort. I don't know my Metallica history that well, but I do know that video and that lives in my brain. Nothing about Metallica. Do you know? Are you a big Goo Goo Dolls? No. My brother watches that video nonstop. I know you're going to tell me. That's the famous video in Buffalo where it's pouring rain and they play Iris. And he's from Buffalo, too. Yeah. Jimmy had like a one of he had a tick tock go like semi viral of him joking about watching that video for like the nine millionth time because it is another one. That's awesome. Yeah. Yeah. I wish we could play music on this. I know we can. I know it is a sick video when he goes and I don't want the world to see me. It's just it's one of those pouring. It's one of those things that you wish you could live. Oh, take the day to understand. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Rock and roll, baby. Yeah. That's just rock and roll. Metallica at the sphere. We'll be there. It's funny because it's like either you go can go see Wizard of Oz or you can go see Metallica. Right. You can hit the Wizard of Oz 2 p.m. Yeah. You can do the 9 p.m. Yeah. Exactly. And the thought of us doing like a day party and then rolling into going to see Metallica listen is objectively hilarious. We will not be doing that. We won't. But it's. It sounds epic. I'm just waiting for it. I know John Mayer obviously will be going to the sphere and that is one that I would absolutely want to go to. But I'm just waiting for someone that I feel very passionate about to be at the sphere and then and then I will make sure I'm there. I agree with you. It's got to be a passionate first time experience. It's just like an incredible place. It does. It does. Something I feel like you have to experience if you can. Yeah. So we'll be in Vegas. I'm kind of in and out of there. Showing up late on Friday. Leaving Saturday night. You're really not even there. You're there for like 24 hours. No. Yeah. I mean, listen, I mean, I'm in the throw of unpacking. Yeah. Everything. I don't know where anything is. Everything's in boxes. Yeah. I have to get home to get organized. We're also coming home for a day to then leave again. Exactly. We are. We are traveling again on Tuesday. Yeah. We're gone next week. So I have to be home for a day or two to like get my life in order. I. Everything's gone. It's gone out the window this week. It's a wash on how I look, how I smell, how I'm dressing. I really. It's wash. My migraine is still here. I can't say you've smelled bad at all this week. Thank you. You can at least hold your head high on that one. I actually had a dream. Someone told me I smelled bad. No, no, no. Last night. No. I had such a weird dream last night. It was so odd. Let's talk about it. No. Let's make sure that this podcast is us watching a video that no one else can watch. And then talk about the dream that no one cares about. Right. Moving on. Anyways. My migraine is still intact and it's driving me insane. yeah that can't be good no but i told you and i and i don't know if anybody else has experienced this and i think you should go but when i was dealing with bad headaches with my period uh i was recommended to go to acupuncture and my god it really helped really i should look into that that sounds very nice yeah and it's just like also just a really nice experience but it's just like add it to the fucking list of things we got to do to maintain maintenance all this shit yeah you know what i mean this is one to make you feel better it's not like a i gotta go get my hair done like it's a little less superficial it's like no this will make you feel better that's true that's true yeah it's just been a it's just been a hectic week so i think the migraine is just yeah period hormone stress related obviously because now with traveling right around the corner yeah i'm not unpacked and i'm disorganized i don't like that i like to have it organized Organized home. Yeah. Organized home, organized brain. Brain right now, disorganized. But we'll get through it. My in-laws are actually coming this weekend to help Matt unpack. So that's a nice treat for me. That is nice. Because I'll be. He'll come back. I'll come back. Yeah. And it'll be unpacked. So that'll be really nice. Yes. Yes. I had someone message me yesterday and was like, oh, my God, you were so unhinged on the podcast. And I was like, you know what it is? When you're fighting off a migraine or something, you don't have time to mask your inner thoughts. Yeah. No, they just all come out. Because you're too busy fighting the other thing. I can't fight my inner thoughts and my migraine at once. So all those thoughts win over the migraine. You know, that's why I just said anything I was thinking. Because I can't. I can't do both at the same time. Yeah. Valid. Yeah, it is. Your hair looks lovely. You got it done. Thank you. I did. I did get just my roots done and a nice, you know, toner. A little refresh. Because my grays are just coming in loud and proud. And I, it's just, you know, I'm 32. What's a girl to do? Oh, my God. Why are we rhyming so much? I think we're just like, we just are light. We are just so awesome. Why are we rhyming? We are rhyming so much. My grays are here. So talented. And. And I would pluck them. Yeah. I would pull my hair. And you know what? Hair is valuable these days. Yes. The hair on your head is valuable. And I was looking in the mirror last week and I thought, now there's just too many coming in for me to be pulling out of my head. You know? Got it. So I said, I'd rather just go and get it and just get it touched up so that it's not bothering me. And it's like, it wouldn't be, it was never crazy visible. But at my part on the top of my head, I could start to see it. But when I pull my hair back, all those pesky ones underneath were peeking out. And I was like, oh, no. Well, I never noticed. I think your hair looks beautiful. I love the color. Thanks. Love the color. It looks gorgeous. It's that time of the year where it's, you make the decision of, do I change my hair? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And. I'm not really, and I, and I haven't changed it in so long. And I'm, I do like, I've kept my same color and now going into fall. I felt even more festive. I was, my, my trainer was laughing at me this morning because I came like hair, a deeper auburn. I got my brown nails. I was in an all brown work, like outfit. And he was like, wow, you're, hello, Miss Fall. Yeah. Hello. Sweater weather. Yeah. Sweater weather. It's a little too warm right now. No, it is. It's not sweater weather. Sorry not to talk about that. I know, but it's. It's not to now go from dreams to weather. But we're a little bit of a heat wave coming. We're going through right now. We have so much to say, clearly. I am, I got the bug now to go brunette because Haley Bieber, her hair looks so gorgeous. Like this tussled, like this effortlessly. The beautiful color. Tussled brown hair that she's got going on is making me. That's always the brown I wanted my hair to look like when I had, like when my, I had my natural color. Right. It's, it's so pretty. And on her, I don't look like Haley Bieber, so I don't know, but I do like to. You just had your hair brown. I know. Not that long ago. I know. It looks gorgeous. I thank you. I actually do like going. Brown for the fall and winter. I do a lot. So I think I'm heading in that direction soon because I had to fill in my roots. So I have a shadow root going on right now because I was very blonde during the summer and then my roots were going out. I have to do a shadow root because my hair grows fast. And now I'm just like in the in-between and I'm like, I think I want to head towards brunette. But I'm so annoyed because I posted it on my story that I'm going to, that I want to go brunette. And our listeners are the best. They're like, do it, do it, do it. I love your brunette hair. They do. They do. My aunt writes back. No, LOL. I'm like, well, our biggest haters are our family. Right. Exactly. Like why have haters when you can have your family? Yeah. No, absolutely. So why are you doing that? Oh, I don't know. Because I want it and I like it. Or just that generation of the video I posted of me on the carpet. I clicked on her profile. She's an older woman. Maybe a grandma. Looked like maybe she had a grandkid in her profile picture. She's like, why are you moving your head like that? I was like, sorry, Janine. I was just trying to get my angles. Bitch. God forbid. I got a little. I got a little look off. Yeah. Just trying to get my angles. I can't. I actually did notice. And every single time I think sabotage. Because when we posted the three photos, the photos of us from the carpet, I was looking at the comments on Chicks in the Office and someone was like, Rhea, hear me out. A shoulder length cut. I went, no. No. What the fuck is up with that? It's because you want to know why? It's because you had your hair like this. No, I know. But what? And like it looked gorge. It looked gorge. It looked gorge. But I'm saying you wouldn't cut it. No, but that's insane. Yeah. Is anybody telling me to cut my hair? The only thing that I get complimented on to a bob so that what? So I have nothing left? Right. So there's nothing? On my last redeeming quality? No. Literally. The only redeeming quality I have because it's the only thing people compliment, I'm going to cut it off? Speaking of, did you mention the aunt from Sabrina the Teenage Witch complimenting your hair? No, I didn't. Oh my God. It's because I wasn't on the episode, so I wasn't there to bring it up. Right. Thank you for bringing it up. Yeah. This is really helping my migraine. I took a trip to the gas station to get pumped up. Caroline Rhea from Sabrina the Teenage Witch and also many other things. So many. Was that Dancing with the Stars today? Was that Dancing with the Stars? Near us. And she stopped me and goes, I have to ask you, how is your hair so beautiful? I said, oh my God, this is going to sound really obnoxious. It's genetics. I don't know. And let me tell you something. Now it's like, we could actually have a good little routine with this that could be like a little buddy-buddy routine where you do that, you know, you have your spiel of like, ah, it's like, it's really genetic. And I should just be behind you going, it's genetics. It's so obnoxious from me. It is true though. And you know what? It's like when I asked Rob Lowe why he's like so good looking and he was like, it's genetics. I don't fucking know. I was born this way. It does kind of go along with my theory of, not even a theory, just my stance of male hair when they cut it short. And if they have the ability. If they have the ability to have it long, why would they not have it long? I do feel that way about your hair. It's like, if you have it, why would you cut it off? But I also just don't have a face for a bob. Like, I just don't have that. I had my hair in a very short cut. Your hair was very short. At one point. And I was way younger. And I don't like how I looked. Yeah. No, your hair. Sorry. It's so fair. I'm just being. And at the end of the day, you get to choose. Yeah, I get to choose. And I, you know, it took me a while to get my hair back to this because I grew up in I grew up with hair like this. So my hair, because people will ask me, how did you get your hair like that? It wasn't always like that. Let me. It was, though. Growing up, I had. No, no, no. I had hair like this. There was a stint where my hair, I was treating it like poorly. And, you know, I, it was too blonde and it got fried off and I treated my body like shit. So just everything wasn't working for itself. Now it's back to being what it was, what I grew up with. And so people go, oh, my God, how did you get it that way? And I'm like, no, I really do think it's genetics because I was this way. And then I ruined it. And then it had to find its way back. Whatever. I don't know, man. Like, seriously, I was blabbing because my head hurts. But, like, I'm happy to be here and I'm happy to entertain. Absolutely. Always. This is what brings me so much joy and happiness talking. I really, I really just. Okay, we've gone from dreams to weather to Rhea getting sentimental. No. Oh, throwing Rhea's hair in there. Right. I really am just so enjoying this studio. This show. Oh, okay. Which I think has a lot to do with the studio. No, it probably. I just feel like we're all riffing. The banter's great. The chemistry's off the charts. Numbers are up. Up, up, up. Yeah, the engagement's up. Like, I'm just so happy. Like, I come here so happy to do this job every day. You know what? And I just want that to come across. Even if I sound like I have a little bit of an attitude because of a headache. And I just want everyone to know I am grateful to be here. I really am. I really am. I was smiling. It's your new commute. It is. That's great, too. But I will say I was smiling ear to ear in the shower last night because Noah had sent me some clips. Was Matt also in the shower? No, no, no. He was not there this time. But Noah had sent me some clips to go over before posting. And I was watching them and I said, oh, God, we are just so. So funny. And I was, I, you know what? Sue me for thinking that we're funny. Yeah. And we're a good time to be around. And I just. smiling clip that no i just was smiling thinking to myself like be a viral this is this is this is just so fun that we get to do this as our job we are so blessed we really are anyways i was trying to bring that back around to the fact that i was walking i was i was just on a walk with olive and was thinking about the season changing and the years going by and just having those thoughts on my walk you know as i i'm walking past pete's tavern i'm seeing all the young people out about having their happy hour cocktails i'm thinking well you know i've been in the city for a long time and what a journey it's been and then i thought we must have just passed 10 years of when you were hired well it was september 29th so it's like a couple days ago yeah you're like well not really it was two days ago no no no yeah but isn't it great like i thought about it i was walking i was like wow you know it's that is crazy that crossed your mind has to be 10 years it didn't cross my mind on the day it just crossed my mind right now when you said it at 2016 yeah that's september 2016 and then i thought i think it was late september and then i thought to myself i wonder if it's literally like now and it was yeah wow the 29th damn wow is that crazy that is we'll be celebrating 10 years of friendship in february oh my god that is really 10 years of the first emoji video wow i just thought about that's our whole next tour concept 10 years of friendship yeah wow 10 anniversary that is so sweet that's nice oh 10 years that is a long time that's a long time that is a solid friendship you haven't shut up and no we haven't and you know what i was just just talking about this the other day what were we well oh matt was telling me about somebody not here um somebody who can't stand somebody that they that they work with like okay yeah yeah yeah in the in the industry um just for a little context there wow the beatles were only together for 10 years wow the beatles were together as a band for approximately 10 years and you know what our body of work is comparable yeah hopefully we don't got a yoko ono in the mess uh yeah we don't want a travis kelsey over here oh my god yeah yeah anyways he was telling me about uh somebody somebody in the industry two people that don't like each other that work together and we were just like kind of going down the list of people and these were two guys actually so but thinking back to that i was like oh my god i don't know this is a weird poll but like mike francesa mike and mad dog they hated each other yeah and they were on air every single day yeah like we are really impressive that we still like each other we love you not just like we and come on you're gonna make people think that we don't actually like each other whatever anyways forget the sentimental but i'm just saying that it is very impressive yes and is a testament to who we are as people that the two of us stand here together strong today with no end in sight knock on wood yeah but your responses are not sounding confident no i i there's a beautiful sentiment i don't know if you knew this but my my love language is words of affirmation and you're not giving them to me right now okay shocker that's what that's what it is yeah i actually don't know reinforcement i actually don't know if that's you're probably just like you're you're like all of them what's the uh honestly yeah i really am i cut i need it all yeah what's you know what positive affirmation that's what i wanted to say positive affirmation yeah i yes yeah um that also has to do with me having ocd but yes yeah yes yeah you know what all this like uh looking back and talking about time makes me think about is that when i was a kid uh at one day i looked in the mirror and and waved to myself and said hello noah in the future and i like remember it like in my brain as if it was yesterday but it was like at this point like 15 20 years ago but isn't that cool but you were looking at yourself but but i'm looking at myself but you were looking at yourself in the present but i see myself in my head now saying that because i was looking in the mirror so now you see your younger self looking back when i think of that moment i remember that moment being like i so now it is like the past noah saying hi to me right right because when you close your eyes wow that is really sweet when you go when you close your eyes you see younger noah waving in the mirror you don't see yourself you don't see i mean i can't really like when you look in the mirror you envision your young self saying i mean like i can't like remember how i look really but like i can remember like that moment and doing it and being like like i remember the sentiment of it and remember doing i don't remember what i was wearing or like what is what my face looks like this is what i would say my text to you yesterday you posted that's this is explaining all um no i that's a lovely sentiment how old do you think you were i mean had to be like like i would hope younger than 15 if it was older than 15 yeah that would have been my guess if you were like i was like five years ago you turned me well you know what i was graduating high school i was in my cap and gown if i filmed it it might have made more sense i guess but no yeah uh i understand yes obviously the idea is there the video would have made more sense the video absolutely would have made more sense to watch back yeah i'm very excited for um tomorrow night when we're drunk we should have made a time capsule we should have and fran ultimately tells me how much she loves me after she's had two drinks that's when i get my most that's when i get my most love from fran is when she's had a little bit of alcohol and her true feelings come out and she looks at me she goes you know i love you and i say yeah i go like this i go yeah i know i know i know you just show it in a strange way sometimes but i know the first time on my 21st birthday and now it's almost 10 years later what did you do it for the first 21st birthday i went to vegas for the first time oh hell yeah another 10 year anniversary and it's almost exactly 10 years that's crazy oh someone told me we're celebrating your birthday this weekend no we're not i mean i mean i guess we could should we tell vegas uh the vegas tourism board we're closer to fran's birthday than yours no i don't think we are no we are hers was the 20th and yours is the 15th yeah oh yeah damn it well damn it no but but while we're there it'll be exact probably like equal what are you gonna do for my birthday you know i thought we were going to miley cyrus that's that's the way i show love to people i wish you were going to miley cyrus for your birthday no we can't wait you're surprising me with john mayer tickets aren't you fuck you ruined the surprise ruined come on bro don't do that one of those tickets go on sale the package the like the big vip package just actually went today um but the you weren't you weren't interested in the big vip package well it's like the flights and hotels and by the way like the the that sounds yeah when you say like that you didn't want to buy john's big vip package everybody wants what's in his big vip package uh but andy cohen the most expensive vip experience i'll say uh had it had you in like the front it said like front row reserved ticket but i'm like everything i've heard is you don't want to be in the front row of the sphere you want to be like oh well here's the thing i think you want to be front row anyway no no i don't think so i don't if i'm going to the sphere i'm going to be in the front row of the to experience the sphere that's fine but if you love john mayer that much you want to be up close and personal you want to be in his vip package yeah which is why they put you in the front row right you're right there yeah no i think i'd still want to be up no you want to be higher like you want that you want to see the lights and the screens yeah because if you're that close you're not really you're only looking at john you're only looking at john i would that's why you go multiple nights that's what i would assume a guy like no i thought i could go six nights by the way are we going to talk about that i said john's in new york city maybe harry will bring him out and then he's front row at harry styles concert last night with derek trucks and susan tedeschi who i'm sure no one i love when you call her their full name susan yeah derek trucks and susan tedeschi yeah no i saw that picture i'm like oh my god that's susan behind it and i guarantee you not one is that my susan do you not one person in that whole arena probably knew who they were they're sitting in the front row and they're like oh my god i'm going to be in the front row in the presence of greatness and i'm sure they went backstage with john i would love i would pay money to see harry styles and susan they cover sign of the times all the time i'm getting like fired up right now yeah i can tell i can tell whoa whoa whoa as you can see harry doesn't really bring you know he hasn't really brought anybody out i was saying this here i was like it it shows you that because capaldi was it yeah yeah capaldi do you remember you know i was like oh my god he's been hot over here ever since i mentioned john's big package you keep getting excited we're gonna see your package um too much john talk do you mute my my mic when i laugh really hard or you keep it because god it must not sound great to people i like that laugh literally i like that laugh he voice noted me because i sent her a clip for a like a clip let me save it yeah have you laughed i must have saved it i must have saved it i must have saved it - I was supposed to had it because he sent me a clip and I'm in it, I'm laughing really hard. Sending voice notes are fun. Noah's the king of voice notes. The king of them. But I like Noah's voice notes because they're like 10 seconds max. Yeah, no, I'm not sending them. Why? Does this lead back to the fact that mine are really long? You send like 10 in a row that are all like three minutes long. They're so long. I send mini podcasts. I said to you guys, you know what? I listen to all the ones you send, Max. And this is what I said. When I'm gone, you're going to miss my fucking voice notes. Yeah? Anyways. I like that laugh. It's like he's just mocking me. Because right in the clip that I had sent her, she was like cracking up. I also sent right before that where I was like, Marty does not make you laugh. You remember when someone got, I don't know if we ever talked about that. But we posted a clip and some guy commented and was like, no way Marty makes you laugh like that. About Noah. I was like, what the fuck? So now anytime you laugh, I'm like, no way Marty makes you laugh. There is probably a small faction of Chicks in the Office listeners that like stan you and Noah. No way. Ew. I just said, I said small. I said small. I bet you there is. There's Chicks in the Office fans. What a weird thing to say. Chicks in the Office fan fiction. Yeah. Totally. To be honest, it writes itself. If we were both single, you have both tropes in this. In this scenario, you got the best friends to lovers and you got the enemies to lovers. Yeah. You could write it both ways. Totally. That is just the office fan fiction. The multiverse. Multiverse. Yeah. Well, the Chicks in the Office multiverse. It's like, it's like Fran. No, I, first of all, I did the, ew. Like, I'm literally like a girl on the, on the playground. That's like, ew, not Noah. Oh. He's like my best friend. Like, ew, like, he's totally like my, I look at him like he's my brother. He's like my brother. I would never. Ew. Like, I totally would never. No, I would set Noah up with anybody, though. I think Noah's such a catch. Hey. No, I'm kidding. I'm going to clip that one thing and just send it to Marty. He's so used to this. Like, that's what's so funny, though, that we go back to that comment because, like, I just, Noah does make me laugh. I laugh really hard, but I laugh like this in general at all the time, even at myself. Well, this goes back to the. Probably mostly. This goes back to the conversation that we had had that one time of ranking your top funniest friends. I'm pretty sure you had me up there. I would have you up there for sure. Like he doesn't remember. You said that like he doesn't remember. I'm pretty sure you had me pretty high up there. Let me, let me just tell you, Noah is not to like, I'm just like pumping up everyone's tires right now. Noah really. He's like, I'm just like, I'm just like pumping up everyone's tires right now. He is so funny, like even more so off the podcast in a way that I don't think people would even get like or not get, but just like a lot of inside stuff that he's just very, very funny in the group chats. I'll say I. This is me. I heart Noah. We're just like, this is us in the inside of the circle. And this is you guys. The outside. Yeah. No, imagine you and Noah, like your, your banter, your frenemy was really just because you guys just like this. Imagine there's like a chicks in the office multiverse. What a scandal that would be good for numbers. Oh my God. If I found out if we stayed single and you had a story that would have been no, no, no, no, not even more. More of the scandal would be if you weren't single. Oh, obviously. And it's like, I come in and I walk in on you and Noah. But even if, but even if, but even if it was single, I can you, if one of the, if one of the members didn't know and then found out, right. But that would ruin the chemistry. Of course it would all be over. Yeah. That would be us getting a Yoko Ono. It's just from in house. The three of us are headed to Vegas tomorrow, tomorrow night. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. That's what they say. I've been going to my notes to grab, to, to read what I wrote down that I wanted to tell you guys about. And it was about. My laugh and I wrote it in my notes about myself to read to you guys. And now it's just really, really deep in your notes. I can't find it. Someone said that you should never make fun of people's laughs because then they'll always be self-conscious when, whenever they want to be like happy or something. Yeah. That only lasts for like a day for me. That didn't really like roll off the tongue. No, no, it was definitely way more eloquent than whoever said it. The sentiment is there. Oh, I can't find it, but I know you're, you're, you're basically taking away someone's joy. Because then when they're like, want to laugh, they're like. They feel self-conscious. Right. And you know what it always brings me back to is Fran's mom once told me how much she loves my laugh. She does love your laugh. And so I hold on to that. Okay. I guess I don't have it anymore, but I did write this down. I guess we'll just have to remember exactly what I said. Exactly what I said instead of reading the note for 10 minutes. I was thinking about how, this is so boring. You can just cut this out. I was going to explain it. We were, Matt and I were out to dinner. And I was laughing really hard. And I noticed that the couple next to us had looked over. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Kind of like, ugh, this laugh is coming out of this girl. You know what I mean? This is like when we talked about being in the movie theaters. And I was saying how annoying people are. And you're like, that, that might be me. Yeah, right. No, I'm not annoying in the movie theater. I, whatever. I'm out to dinner and I'm laughing. Sorry. No, you're in the movie theater. I didn't know where I am. Good one, Olivia. That is, like, I'm just like, and I'm like defying. And I'm like, oh, God. They must be looking at me. They're looking at me like, this girl is so obnoxious. No, I don't think it's a level of obnoxious. It's just like, we were like, wow, that's some laugh. That's a laugh. Yeah, that's, yeah, you would be, and then you got, you and Joe at dinner. We're like, well, that's some laugh. You know, that, hell of a laugh on that chick. Right. God. So what do we say about my friend Lauren? She's got that, too. Oh, my God. The Lauren cackle. It's the same thing. You're like, hell of a laugh on Lauren. Yeah, oh, my God. Lauren and I are so similar in that way. Yeah, put the two of you in a room and, oh, that laugh. Wow. What's in Monsters, Inc. when they have to do all the giggles? The laugh. In Monsters, Inc., they don't have to scare anybody because they realize that the laugh brings the energy. Weirdly, I remember. Do you remember the premise of Monsters, Inc.? The laugh floor? No. The laugh floor? Yeah, remember the monsters are like, we don't have to keep scaring kids because if they laugh, we get the same juice. I remember my high school boyfriend broke up with me after we watched Monsters University together. I don't think I ever saw that one. No, it's like that comment's so serious. We watched Monsters University and it was over. I'm starting to act like I'm crazy. That is the premise of Monsters, Inc. Listen, I don't remember. I don't know. No, it's the scare. Yeah, it is a bit. Yes, but then they don't want to scare the kids anymore and they realize that the laugh has the same power. Yeah, I don't really remember the ending, to be honest. Oh, for the love of God. Anyway, I was just making the comparison that if you put you and Lauren in a room, we'd keep Monsters. I understand. Yeah, I got the comparison. Yes, I got it. Where did they live? Who? Not Monsters. Who? The monsters. The monsters. Like in that void. What's that? Okay, speaking of who, what's that? Seussical, the musical. Under the bed. Yeah. That's what I, Whoville, Seussical, the musical. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's when I got lice. Whatever. We never did. Seussical. Really? No. Which ones did you do? No, I was in a very small school of kindergarten, eighth grade, and our eighth grade play was Aladdin. Oh, what part were you? Narrator, one, two, or three. There was three of us. As to be expected. You know me, spoken word, that's really my forte. Right. The acting, the singing, take that out. Just straight up narrating what was going on. Reading, yes. In between acts, setting the scene. Mm-hmm. That's what I did. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Along with my being on the forensics team. You were on the forensics team? Yeah. Which was also just reading prepared monologues and such for a group. What does that have to do with forensics, reading monologues? It's, yeah, it's the technical, that is the right term for it, and I couldn't really explain it to you. God, I'd love to hit a monologue right now. Can you look up famous monologues? A high school forensics team is a competitor. It's a competitive speech and debate team. Oh! I did that in middle school. Okay, so you did speech and debate. Yeah. I forgot. That just reminded me. Remember because we got high when we did that and we would have you read scripts? I did scenes. And I did the Joker. And it was, you know, chilling. I didn't do it in high school, but I did it in middle school. And I would read, you know, your choice. You could pick from like a book or a chapter or a speech. I have to memorize it and perform it in front of judges. Wow. Yeah. What did they grade you? I don't know. I can't remember those details. That I block out, you know? Right. I barely even remember. I wouldn't have proof. I actually just remember that I did this one when my mom sent me some old picture. You know what? No. I need a. You know what was a common one that they would do is Natalie Portman in Leon the Professional. That was like one of her first movies. That's a great movie. And I remember doing a monologue from there. And then there was. I've never seen this movie. Really? There was. she plays matilda matilda yes leon the professional mom that one that yeah yeah yep anyways that looks like somebody else doing it right that was like it was like a common thing you uploaded it to youtube and made it yes well that is that is natalie portman's audition which was very you know popular when you're a child wannabe child oh she's so so young yeah she was 12 years old i don't think i realized she was acting at that me at that age they're like you want to be like this you want to be like natalie portman she was acting at 12 natalie on the professional oh yeah 1993 yeah wow crazy i don't think i i don't think i realized that in my mind the start of her career is like star wars which is just obviously not true more famous natalie portman or gwyneth paltrow gwyneth paltrow really i feel like natalie portman she's in star wars so yeah but gwyneth paltrow's an iron man so that's true but you know but natalie portman has a bigger role yeah of course yeah they're they're both pretty similar i would say pretty pretty similar yeah some incredible movies yeah yeah anyways let's get into some topics shall we uh we really went off we always say it's gonna be short episode in the interest of an hour somehow we just end up talking about yep yep you know anyways we'll get into some topics pete davidson did a interview with variety some things are going viral from that he's just kind of turned into just a douchebag i'm not gonna lie yeah and uh well i guess turned into or uncovered i don't know i don't know i don't know and ariana maddox will be starring in a new show on peacock a scripted series so exciting called future housewives and we have a great game of trivia so let's get into it it's brought to you by chase sapphire preferred all learn more at chase.com slash sapphire preferred that's chase.com slash sapphire preferred card issued by jb morgan chase bank and a member fdic subject to credit approval terms apply so pete davidson did this interview with variety and he talked about a whole bunch of things he talked about dating kim kardashian he talked about ariana grande he talked about becoming a father he talked about tiktokers now that's the clip that's good being shared with you right now just an obnoxious outdated take from a guy who is a comedian who was just like a lazy joke you know like and he thought he was being funny i thought he was being funny i think he thought people would be like ah that's so true but then it just came off of as a pretty lazy comment right and he's acting like he's out there saving lives when he's also making millions of dollars off of being a comedian yeah and it's just a different form of entertainment yes it is some influencing do you go oh my god how the fuck are they making this much money but good for yeah i go good for them they figured out an avenue that's great good for them i'm not hating on any way that people are out there trying to entertain people get an audience get money whatever it's just a weird take from somebody who gets money from entertaining people and the crazy comparison too is like you know he's talking about get ready with me is in these things it's like oh who cares all these things uh um they're just talking to themselves like get ready me get ready with me who the fuck are you it's like well why would you you could say the same thing about the he wouldn't say that about the young comedian that's going to try to stand up for the first time and what does he want the audience to be like oh who the fuck is this guy who cares people are also like you dated kim kardashian you're trying kim kardashian may be the biggest at first influencer like of of all no and it's it's it was a lazy it was lazy it was just lazy and lame and i i felt like he thought he was being funny it's not funny because really if you think about it you know if he's getting on stage or he's filming a special he's making jokes he's trying to make people laugh same way a girl is getting on and doing her makeup and at the same time telling a story about her date and trying to be funny and trying to hit punch lines and trying to like juice it up so that people comment and people laugh you're just trying to make people laugh in different forms and also not talking to themselves they're talking to an audience of people lots of people watch these videos and are entertained and feel like they're friends and they find a sense of comfort in watching their favorite creators so it was really just a very very bizarre take from pete and it also seemed he was like upset that they get paid so much money it's like bro i i i really it was a big turnoff for me i i've been turned off by pete davidson lately but this really turned me off from him i also didn't love the kim quote what did he say again it was like something about how we're all he survived yeah yeah that they're i'm one of the survivors go back to that one he said i'm one of the survivors the few and the proud were like the marines it's like also kind of a bad joke yeah and he said look man a lot of bad jokes in this interview look man that's a really tough atmosphere if you're not game one of the things i love about kim and that whole family is they're like this is what we do i found that very attractive and mature i was never subjected to anything i didn't want to be a part of she was super respectful of all of it but the craze of that lifestyle being followed everywhere having security and looking over your shoulder for a guy with mental stuff and at the time drug problems was a little too much for me but we're cool and i have a lot of love for her and i knew i was getting into so yeah the follow-up makes sense right but the first initial joke was just terrible so classic oh i do to come whatever fuck off anyways he also talked about his struggle with drugs and alcohol as well he was saying during a period of time he was doing shrooms he was doing acid he was cooking ketamine he was eating pills and he was smoking weed whippets whippets um and he said it got scary because i didn't feel high i felt high when i wasn't doing it so i was like this is a huge problem uh yeah that makes sense i feel like there is value in what he's saying here and sharing here right like the other shit he was saying pissed me off but i think that him saying that exact sentence like i felt high when i wasn't doing it uh i feel like a lot of people that are in that position can relate to that feeling right when you realize oh i i actually feel my normal doing this so much now i feel normal when i am high yeah and when i'm not high i feel normal when i'm not high i don't feel normal yeah um so you know that's sad but i'm glad that uh he is clean now he said he had an emotional call with his mom convince him to get clean so obviously her biggest fear is losing him um so for a couple years he's been clean now he said the hardest part for him was was weed yeah which i feel like weed is just one of those things that people don't see or they say like you it's you can't get addicted to weed i disagree with that i think it very much becomes like a habit it can become something where like yeah like i remember when i was smoking all the time in that way when i wasn't smoking i didn't feel good yeah so then i would smoke to feel good and that you know what i'm saying so then you yeah i understand what he was talking about with the you know the weed stuff and i think when people say that you can't be addicted to weed i don't think that makes much sense that's what he said he said the hardest thing to stop was weed you can be addicted to anything right and i the weed is not addictive like cocaine but but it's i think it's just because it's not as strong and it's used and obviously weed is used medicinally and there's other great purposes for weed but so people find a way to be like it's not addictive but in my opinion it totally can be well it's just i just think you can you can get so used to and addicted to like a habit right you know i eat a lot of pretzels every day like you get addicted to snacking like yeah yeah well that is a real that's a very real addiction yeah um so yeah he talked talked about that removing his tattoos which i feel like he's been doing for like five years now yeah i thought that he's got a lot of them so probably would take a pretty long time obviously very sad um you know he had struggled with self-harm and so he used some of the tattoos to cover yeah cover that up which is obviously very sad um so yeah i mean he had some interesting things to say in this interview but unfortunately the things that are getting clipped are the obnoxious lazy lame takes that he had about right it's just like you don't just have to you don't have to bash people and i do and i and i know that i saw this thought very much when happening with the dairy boy like with uh you know with page going against the nantucket basket people yeah and that stuff where it it does feel like sometimes an innately like misogynistic opinion because most influencers are women yeah and so it's like oh when you are saying that like oh who the fuck cares about what you're doing it's like well there's a really large group of women that are doing this now and it works for them and it's a real thing and it's a real job and all those things and it's like and they are getting paid a lot of money for it and there's a lot of there's a lot of jobs out there that people go a good do you make that much money from that job like it's that's part of life yeah that's life so that's what people say yeah that yes that is what you're not just singing yes yes yes you're looking at me like what are you you clearly were singing the song i was just wanted you to she was left out there now like look if if he wanted to like really work out this take and have it be you know oh i think it's crazy that x person and the and the pro this and that may make millions and millions and millions of dollars and you know our teachers and our nurses and all these you know very important jobs like there's there's something of substance there of course he turned it into like just oh who the fuck cares about these chicks like right when he is somebody who makes millions of dollars being an entertainer they're just trying people and you are somebody that does this and also get paid a shit ton exactly of money right i'd love to know what the price tag was on that netflix podcast pete so you know what i mean like i yeah you're also joining you know you're joining the podcast game you're joining like right please like let's see those last few contracts you signed can you say that some are influencers are annoying yeah yeah but that doesn't mean that it's like it is and once again that's life right that's life that's just people in general can be annoying yeah i feel like recently hasn't he said like he doesn't want to be known just for like who he dates whatever but then this whole interview is like him talking about multiple of his like most famous ex-girlfriends well what's so tough and this is what happens when you are the guy that dates all these people is no matter what every interview you do you're gonna be asked about it like i don't blame him as much for that because it's like but i'm sure he's not out of the blue bringing up all of his exes he's being asked about them and he's always going to be asked about them if he does he's going to be asked about them if he didn't want that to happen that's you know but here's the thing at a certain point you have to say less you know like that's on him he's going to be asked about him if he's asked about dandy kim and he and he just said we had a good time what there's no follow-up that doesn't go viral no one cares it's like oh they had a good time he's okay i survived kim kardashian that makes that doesn't make the headline you just move on and once more people move on the less you're going to be asked about it but if the interviewer doesn't want to be asked about it he's going to be asked about it the interviewer knows that he could potentially say is to have some potential punch line that he has written joke about we're like the marines well then they're gonna ask because it's gonna get picked up so that's on him it's just a lazy joke i mean it's not even funny like you know no no low-hanging fruit yeah it is it totally is both of them last topic quickly ariana maddox will be starring in a new peacock scripted series called future how swipes this is so fun i'm so happy for getting into a scripted show this is her lifelong dream she's always wanted to be an actress and it is set in the decadent asteroid colony of new beverly hills where wealthy socialites juggle bioengineered beauty regimens ruthless rivalries and interplanetary scandals so this kind of sounds like that is not what i thought it was it's like it's like alien real housewives with desperate housewives alien style what's that show that we were watching um that anthony ramos came on to promote if i'm playing on the name the beauty the beauty it's like that kind of a little bit of the beauty yeah but i think this is like on a on a another planet right i mean it's on another it's on an asteroid yeah i think that this is going to be like desperate housewives taking place in space that's pretty sick yeah it's a it's a different take when a young starry-eyed outsider unexpectedly appends their glamorous world exposes just how far they've drifted out of touch yeah satirical superficial right and it's being made by fuzzy door which is um seth mcfarland seth mcfarland seth mcfarland and i feel like he loves uh like a alien stuff yeah to put it to put in layman's terms alien stuff he's made a lot of shows about aliens in space right uh yeah the orville yeah yeah i think that this is so fun i'm so happy for her playing the outsider that comes in into the the area that's awesome it has to infiltrate the group this is great like you said a dream i feel like this is what she always wanted to do and it really is so crazy i mean she's gonna look back and she probably is thinking about it even now but she's gonna look back in decades and think like i went to la i had a dream of doing the whole being in showbiz stumbles into this reality show gets her heart broken for the world to see and that ends up catapulting her into the career that she always wanted and it's really crazy catapult by the way yeah like she's just but she just like really she handled it perfectly she handled it so pristine like any here's the thing she just she laid out the blueprint for anybody now and we've seen it not work we've seen people not follow the blueprint of what happens now if you have one of these big reality reality tv scandals and how you can parlay that into everything that you've ever wanted which is amazing and even like i think about it with whitney you know she ends up on secret lives of mormon wives reality tv isn't exactly what she wants to be doing and she gets shit for it by walking in and being like i want in my contract that like i get to try out to be in scripted stuff and the show falls apart everything's a disaster but she fought for what she wanted and she knew she was going to try and parlay that into a into a different career and now she did the same thing the broadway another brought you know from the broadway show to trying to do scripted acting all those things so there's like once like i said the blueprint is there it just depends on how well you can execute and ariana just executed it perfectly and isn't that beautiful yeah it really is because you know no one's even thinking about what what's his face is doing i can't even remember who you're talking about yeah exactly okay you know we watched watch a bunch of the tv shows then it's like he's just he's just floated away yeah you know in um wolf of wall street when matthew mcconaughey does that yeah yep i can't do it like him yeah yeah but i know what you're i know what you're saying yes yeah that one scene that i bet is shown in acting classes for years mcconaughey mcconaughey and leo in that wolf of wall street scene yeah because it left such an impact for such a small role the two of them out to dinner yeah and it's some of it's improvised and he starts doing this thing yeah and then you see leo look off because he's not sure what mcconaughey is doing and he looks off and and apparently the you know director and everyone was like and so he just like kept going along with it and that is the beauty of filmmaking yeah yep that is being in tinseltown yeah did you guys as his brother's out i watched i watched is it is it the whole show or just an episode man i'd love to take a trip to paris this time of year god if they were both hanging off a cliff who would i save one mcconaughey or harrelson mcconaughey really i would say that quickly you decided i would save mcconaughey why i love the way he talks is that it uh damn like that's the only thing and what he's like wow that's that's the only reason why i don't why you know i love woody i know you do i know he's a hear me out yeah in my opinion but i don't even you think he's a hear me out i think people would think woody harrelson to hear me out i don't think current day yeah current day i mean woody in white men can't jump is not a hear me out that's just a let me do you watch any of andrew garfield on on good hand oh my god i i am my god i was smiling ear to ear watching the whole thing and he was talking about playing basketball when amy bowler asked him if he's method and she goes and if so who am i speaking with i i she's my favorite person on earth i can't or i'd actually watched that episode multiple times when they open with he's like it's tough yeah and she's like she goes damn it was so good so good that whole episode was amazing um yeah what i i would save mcconaughey i can listen to him talk all day long he was on new heights and he told the story of how he was like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm like oh my he got his role in days and confused yeah and how it just the guy was like show up with this script and then he gets on set and he like doesn't know what to say or do so he just goes all right all right all right to start the scene and then that's it yeah so he said he'll never get tired yeah people say it's like this came from him you know i never because i've never seen that movie and when he did the oscar speech and said that i thought that was like the first i thought people were just like wow that's awesome i didn't get that it was like a reference to the oscar speech - Oh, wow. - Wow, that's embarrassing. yeah that's embarrassing it's really embarrassing is the whole season out of this oh my god he's googling away I'm like I'm waiting for him to show up on the screen to answer my question no the whole season is not out the first two episodes were out and then the rest come out on Wednesdays okay plenty of time Apple is like a weekly type they are they really are they don't do a full release but they like that they like where they put out one to three episodes in a week to week is it like funny the vibe is funny and the vibe is they're playing themselves with their own names they're playing Matthew and Woody yes but it's like they're playing like caricatures they're playing themselves like Woody, Matthew dramatized versions yeah it's scripted but they're playing them they find out that they could be brothers I feel like Matthew McConaughey is already playing himself in the world I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I feel like he's playing Matthew McConaughey at all times I want to sit down with Matthew McConaughey so bad so bad it seemed we really missed our window of them they did like 18,000 podcasts yeah they said they don't even realize how about this that they could come here and have the time of their life another scenario for you one side of the cliff are Steve Martin and Martin Short oh my god and then the other side is Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson who are you saving which pair Steve and Martin lived a long life they're not he's not that much older than them Woody Harrelson's 65 Steve Martin did not he said he's younger no that's oh wait that's automotive automotive designer Steve Mattin okay Steve Martin's 81 I was gonna say Steve Martin's 61 Steve Mattin typo this is me this is me at the end of the cliff that's all it takes see ya you know Martin Short would be cracking you up hanging like like he's making a joke like please Martin Short's got 20 years on McConaughey and they're they have lived such a long fulfilled life like it's I would say Steve Martin and Martin Short no question I gotta be honest it's really not up for debate for me I feel like but you know what it would be kind of I think Matthew and Woody would actually be like really okay with what's about to happen like they're like calm yeah Matthew would be like save them no no Matthew alright alright alright yeah just save them and I and then I would it would be like aim for the bushes and I feel like Martin and Steve would be like panicking oh I kind of think opposite no no yeah I think opposite Matthew McConaughey doesn't sweat and I know and Woody's high as fuck all the time no no no I think you know Matthew's got Matthew's got a lot of young kids still I think there's a panic there this got way too real you're making it real this got way too real yeah yeah but you know what here's the problem when you ask the question then you get real because you gotta debate anyways I'm taking the tip of my big toe and I'm kicking Steve and Martin off the cliff and I'm saving these two unbelievable it's not just Steve and Martin you're kicking Martin short off too you have to you have to kick two off it's a pair it's a pair it's a pair I know but you keep saying Steve and Martin you're not you're not mentioning Martin Steve and Martin they just happen to have the last name and the first name are the same they have a very similar name she's saying Steve and Martin I keep saying Steve and Martin oh I thought you were just saying Steve Martin wait so when you said Steve Martin's loved a good life you said Steve and Martin yes Steve and Martin this whole time she's been talking about I'm not just targeting why are you like picking on Steve Martin so much I swear it sounds like a direct attack on Steve Martin it is Steve and Martin I'm kicking them both off got it one two bye bye wow just like that yeah what would you do just like that I told you I wouldn't even think I would go to Martin and Steve okay it's John Mayer say Martin and Steve it's John Mayer and Susan and Susan Tedeschi oh my god it's John Mayer it's John Mayer it's John Mayer and on the other side no oh they're paired no no they're paired John and Susan John and Susan are paired and then what's trucks David David wait wait what no who's trucks Derek Derek and wow you're separating you're separating the husband and wife so they have to lose each other yeah yeah and Marcus King ooh John and Susan or Derek and Marcus why would you do that to Susan and Derek you're separating them so that one of them has to die I'm saving John and Susan then well cause here's the thing you're going like if you would if Derek and Susan are one side you're like well the married couple you know right you're saving the married couple here's my thought process on that John and John not that he could ever replace Derek in Tedeschi trucks man but Derek plays guitar John plays guitar John could go and play with Susan now Derek doesn't sing I guess Marcus could sing for him but it wouldn't be the same John and Susan then fall in love and we get songs sung blue too I feel bad even saying this Susan and Derek are perfect alright I almost want to cut that just in case Susan and Derek it makes its way to Susan and Derek no no don't don't alright anyways that wraps up the topics alright let's get into a great game of Beat Rian Fran
