252. What Your Sex Life (and Erections) Can Tell You About Your Health

The podcast episode from "Honey Do Me" hosts Cass and Emma introduces a discussion on sexual wellness, addressing common anxieties about bodily function in intimate settings. They welcome Dr. Elliott Justin, who shares his background in emergency medicine, noting that men often sought help for erectile issues in ERs, highlighting a gap in sexual health resources. Dr. Justin explains his invention, the "tech ring," a soft, adjustable smart wearable designed to monitor nocturnal erections, which serve as a leading indicator of cardiovascular health. He emphasizes that erections are not always reliable and aims to reduce stigma by providing data and tools for men, similar to how vibrators have been normalized for women's sexual wellness. The conversation underscores the importance of open dialogue, practical support, and viewing such tools as part of overall health rather than sources of shame.

[Music] Hi! Hi! Welcome to Honey Do Me. I'm Cass. And I'm Emma. And this is our podcast where we get into all of the topics that make up our big beautiful life. But sometimes we run into situations that feel a little sticky, a little shameful, a little like, "Where the fuck do I go with this now?" Is anyone else feeling this way or thinking about this? I tell you what babe, we are. We've been thinking about that thing. We've been thinking about that thing since seventh grade and you know what we're still talking about it. But we're helping each other through it. Because as adults, we all have little fucking things that we think we're going to think about for the rest of our lives. Or that other people are judging us for and you're just not alone. And this is the perfect community to feel a little less alone. Ah, that was beautiful dude. Thank you. I should do these more. I let you do it so much. I should do that more. Yes, one of those topics that I think tends to feel little sticky is like how our bodies either do or do not work in the bedroom. Right? We expect our bodies to show up in this very particular way. We put a lot of pressure on our bodies to show up that way. And when they don't, whether that be a rectile dysfunction or not getting wet or whatever it is that you deem as like, that's what my parts need to do in order to get the kind of sex I want. Like, that's difficult when things don't go the way that you want. It's hard. It's something like nerve-wracking to talk about even with friends. Because you're like, what's wrong with me? What's broken with me? Or if my husband can't get hard, like does that say something about me? Like, is he not attracted to me? And like all of these different things when really I'll give you a truth bomb right here. Bodies are just weird. They change. Erections are not a reliable resource. You're not broken. You're not weird. And there are so many tools out there to help you navigate these situations. It's just not a big deal. Period. Fuck, I love that. What my intro was to you, that was to me. What a beautiful way to describe what we're about to get into today. Thank you so much. Well, then I'll just introduce our guest. Please. Today we're talking to Dr. Elliott Justin. So, he directed emergency rooms for 25 years and you might be like, Okay. What the fuck does that have to do with honeydew me? So, when he tells us in the episode is a lot of people would come in for a very particular problem. Having to do with erections. People would come in to the emergency room because they either couldn't get an erection. Their erection was taking too long and I find that so interesting. So, he is very interested in sexual wellness and he is the creator of firm text tech ring. So, it is not just, he doesn't call them cock rings. Does he? No, he doesn't. Erection rings. Erection rings. Erection rings. So, they, he has a couple different ones, but one of them is basically an aura ring for your dick. So interesting. He was kind enough to send some to me in my husband and so I've been making him try that. And my husband is like terrified of cock rings. I will say that. We've had like a bad experience. I've talked about it before. I'm pretty sure I talked about it in the episode too. You talked about it in the episode too. But these ones are so different. They're like, I wish I had one here. I'll show you on social media so go there. But they're like very soft and like wrap around and hook instead of like going on over top. Yeah. Well, that was the whole point of making it with a different design. Dr. Elliot was saying is that it, it's less intimidating. He'll get into so many more details and benefits of it. But that was kind of the main point. It's like it's not a cock ring. It's an erection ring because of this, these characteristics of it. And that's why it's better. Yeah. And I think Emma and I had a lot of like hesitation around saying like, oh, your cock needs to stay hard. And like all of these kinds of things we never want to shame somebody for what their body is doing. And so we even had a lot of discomfort around like penis pumps and the whole idea of it until we started talking to doctors and seeing how these are used to like support people's sexual wellness instead of tell them they're not enough. And I really love Dr. Elliot's perspective on all of that. So we'll just let him take it away. He also flirts with us throughout the episode. He's kind. He's a food and a half and we love him dearly. So we will see you on the other side for also a gift. So stick around. Yes. Yes, yes. Bye. It's great to be here. Thank you for inviting me. My name is Dr. Elliot Justin and I am the inventor of the tech ring, the world's first monitor, a men's sexual health. It's a smart sex wearable. Believe it or not. How did I get here? Well, my wife and I were looking at each other. She's in business with me. We married 37 years. We look at each other every couple of days. I think why was this done 25 to 30 years ago? You know, we live in this incredible age of health care wearables, smart watches, smart rings or a wound garment and Apple watch. You got one too. And then we got smart scales and we've got smart heart monitors and smart asthma monitors. But there's a gap in that gap of sex and what is more interesting to everyone? Next. Men especially have been women lag about 10 seconds behind being asked and answer that question. What is more trusted people, frankly, in the vital signs of their sexual health? We all would like to enjoy a longer life of sexual health. We all are on the road from men and women, erect off fitness, erect all dysfunction. Women have erections too. By the way, Cass, Emma, how many erections do you have last night while you were sleeping? I don't personally know. I don't know if I've ever counted. I couldn't tell you. Yeah. Because we don't know. I say these plasticizers, too. Women have those, too. A healthy man will have four or five veteran erections per night of a certain duration of firmness. And we now have a database of a herd of 137,000 erections of 4,000 men ranging mostly in the 45 to 60. In the 45 to 75 range, but we let the guys in the 20s and got some older men as well, too. So for men using the lives of our product, they can now get comparative data and say, "How do I rely?" "Am I normal?" "Bout average?" "Nevermore, of course, wants to be above average." And to jump way ahead in this conversation, we are working on the critique. The world's first model of health and clearest. It is behind schedule as our oral engineering projects. I hope that we should be showcasing it at the National Physiophysical Women's Conference in February in California, but we're not going to make it. But we will make it next year. It will happen next year. So getting back to the -- how I got here, though, I'm very sorry to ask the doctor. And, yeah, sure, a hot tackle with a stroke. Nothing's that's alarming to a guy. He'll lift it to three nights because they're not mentally well. So when the first first came out back in the '90s, it was because the huge demand, because it felt to be kind of edgy at that time, you only get it from yourologist. I'm not going to go online. They'll make certain -- you answer that question here. You'll get it. What do you need or not? You're getting it in the mail. You know those questionnaires. So the -- so the -- but Bambler come into the ER on Friday and Saturday nights usually, because they had a problem. And looking -- because they're kind of crazy about the whole thing. And looking for a pill. Because I also -- people have this notion of fan stuff today. Hey, you guys have this incredible superpower. You just take this pill and you get it hard on. Well, it doesn't work that way. You know, you need stimulation as well. You know, if I dropped a 20-digital pill right now, you ladies are very attractive, but I'm not getting a hard on. Now, if you walk in the room, you're naked. If you walk in the room, you're naked, and dance is on the bed. I might. But -- So you need to -- no. Thank you for the example. Yeah. It's the stimulation. So yeah. And then -- so that's -- you know, so that -- so we had this guy's coming and looking for a bag room. We actually kind of joke. Yeah. So, gee, maybe the neurologist on call for the weekend should carry a beep or the bag of beep. Hold on a second. I'm at 125. You know, I'm -- I just really disappointed cast in him, but they walked out with you. You're simply -- I'm not mentally ill. I want to kill myself right now. Get me a viagra immediately. Uber. Uber. Uber. Uber. Uber. Uber eats it. Okay. That is so funny that people -- so people would actually come in because they couldn't get hard. Yeah. And I'm like, as women, we won't go in even if our arm is not fully attached to our body. Like, we'll wait -- like, I don't really need it. I can wait till Monday until my PCP can get me in. Like, that's such a different -- Well, it's interesting to mention that because women actually utilize healthcare services more than men do. So you might -- you might actually be an exception. But when it comes to sexual health, men do. But what the private is, they women have vibrates. So if you go back to when I was dating women, you're age. Like, before you were born in the late 70s, when I was dating, when I was in medical residency and in a single -- vibrates are just being commercialized. Now, vibrates have been around since the steam age. I mean, over in Buchmont, town, it would be over the mining town. It was actually a pro -- you see, it's called a brothel museum. And they have a steam powered vibrator there. Oh, excuse me, steam powered a sawger there, out of vibrates. Part is -- excuse me. Right. I'm certain there's a lot of low back -- very low back pain. And Tyria, I'm probably -- That's it. So obviously. The, what was, you know, but, you know, back then, women were still being described as frigid, anarchism, and hysteric, they were cold. And then, feminist came along and said, you can't use those words. These are negative words. They're shaming. And we're not just getting characterised, we're not wearing that way. Plus, libraries came along. And the problems were, you know, largely went away. Now, you know, my wife doesn't like it when I say this, but you know, she can, she can, she can actually climb out of library, but she prefers a library. Why? Because it's better. And one of the things I want to discuss in a moment is rings are better for men to men now have something not as good as a library, but scientifically proven to be, to make, to optimize their performance. So, you know, rings have become normalised over the time. There's a concern back then, the libraries are the end of the, to me, libraries normalised. Libraries, the end of the American family, you know, women are going to just marry the vibrator. I don't agree with your vibrator, but they, and they will, they'll become vibrator dependent. They'll be, they'll be, the vibrators are numbing. Those kinds of, and now, of course, then, you know, then they may be strange. You know, my mother's vibrator was then, you know, bottom drawer was a poly closet. I've gotten this one sex life, because it's hard, it's hard to get to that closet. And, and you know, our daughter is probably close to your, our daughter's old, and you know, she's, you know, she's 32 now. Much older, though. Yeah. Not much older. She'd take about days, you know, she's married now, but, you know, and I think, you know, my wife, like a lot of women, her age, could be able to be able to band a layer of vibrators. You know, hey, what am I in the mood for tonight? I don't, I don't, I don't, yeah, that's the goal. Yeah, and what, because, you know, this position, this move, that colour, I, you know, you can coordinate it with the lingerie, if you want, you know, to get the right, I mean, really, the sort of colour is it, just clashed, that should really be a void. Really be, I have to get the yellow one should have never been invented. And I never touched that one, because it's ugly. Yeah, and yellow was like red lingerie. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But, and I, and I, but I think, of course, you probably, for any woman, would have got a guy as a jerk, if he commented, you know, I like vibrators, but that vibrator doesn't go with those panties. Can you just get rid of it? No, it's actually you don't go with these panties. Yeah. So, so, so, but, you know, what's actually, and I'm like, sometimes, well, you know, into coss, to sex expositions, male conference, and Wim will tell me, oh, no, not something else for men. Well, it's first or nothing for men. You know, you know, I, it's fine. I've been to sex pro a couple times in avianne. And I can be in this, I've had women come up to me, say, oh, no, it's nothing else for men. Well, actually, even this, I'm putting this farest of vibrators, dildos, lingerie. This first, nothing for men. You know, men have these strokeers. Looks like something you can beat someone with your pocket close to you. I don't, it doesn't even, it doesn't come close. And, and the strokeers, you can reproduce what a hand can do. You know, I, the hand is a brain attached to it. Yeah. It's, you know, these are extraordinary sensory and tactile organs, you know, that we have. So, how can, why would guy use a stroke when you got these? You got two powers, right? I don't get. Right. The stroke is having, the stroke is having caught, you know, having, having caught off. Now, obviously, the hand can't vibrate. So, you know, and, and I will, again, jumping here, we have a female product called a ring date that can turn a guy into a, a vibrating Superman. What is that? Could you fetch me a ring date? I'll show you one bit. My wife invented the sex toy. But we're here to talk about erection rings. But I want to see that. We're talking about women. Why, why, why, why, why we're talking about women? It's because you are attractive people. I want, and I'm learning with you. I'm learning with you. So, let's, and you know what, we love nothing more than to be flattered. So, if that's what this whole episode is. Let's go back to the, how did I get here? So, about four years ago, a urology professor challenged me with a way of coming up with no internal erections because they're leading indicator of mass cardiovascular health. And that blew my mind because I hadn't heard of it. You know, the urologist and the cardiologist called a penis that can air in the coal mine, the cardiovascular disease. So, it makes sense, though, because in order to have an erection, man, oh woman, you have to have a well functioning heart. And you have to have good arteries, the pipes that come out of the heart, the co-therapynesolic clitoris. And you have to have good blood flow. And we got a lot of healthy people out there in the United States. And it's actually elsewhere in the world. Well, too, we have a lot of obesity, a lot of people who don't exercise at all. And by the way, for any men listening to show, it's embarrassing after a few thrusts, you know, because I better lie on my back. That's not good. So, it's important to be in good private ask the health for men and for women if you really want to optimize your sexual health. So, when he said leading indicator, well, in medicine, we don't have a lot of eating indicators. Medicine with treat associations. High blood pressure associated with stroke, LV lip proteins, cholesterol, LVL associated with aphosphorus, have those grosses and heart disease. But they're not predictive. The last name was a really catastrophic, disastrous, you know, pick up myself. My blood pressure goes from 180 to 180. And it goes 120 or 180, and it went so 140 or 90. It wasn't mean. It might be something over a few weeks. More lack of vitamins, I'm not sleeping well up during too much alcohol or had somebody salty foods. It's not that significant. It's important. So, medicine, we throw pills at those things. But if a man's number, nocturnal arrest, it goes down by 50%. That man has a close to 50% chance of having a heart attack or a stroke in the next two or three years. That's actually really scary. That's a big number. But that's not most men, but it's a lot, but it's a fair number of men. So, before so, we've a backgum in tree, but this doctor, he's not my chief medical officer, doctor of talent, he's a nurse at Utah. He's a Cochrane surgeon. And most guys are Cochrane surgeons. Most great guys. I think that's so true. And so, he came to me. I just didn't show more of my background. I'm also an expert in remote patient management sensor technologies. What day did people get at home? I'm ideally to avoid using sensor technologies to avoid seeing doctors. So, when he told me this, about the lead indicator, cardiovascular health, I thought, wow, that's fascinating because what could inspire men to better health? Blood pressure, diabetes, being overweight, then a signal from their penis that, hey, if things aren't working well. But he had never used, and I don't like colon cochrane, because I hope we're doing an arrest rank. Cochrane puts it in the realm of a novelty. Hey, you girlfriend, girlfriend, wash, who was buying a 38-dibrator at the local sex toy store, decided that, oh, hey, honey, he has a Cochrane for night. And these things, these hard silicone rings, they cost like 1095. They pinch, they're uncomfortable. A man has to be fully erect, really get the full benefit. You've got to be fully erect, then you've got to put snap this thing on. And, you know, and they can only warn, they're at like 20-30 minutes, you want it off, and then you've got dig your fingers into, you know, to get it off. And then also, if you want to have, well, you know, if you want to have sex with it, it's kind of like, well, it's like the type of thing that sounds to happen with the libres. Where is it? Yeah. We're ready. Where's the ring? But it's not here. I left out the car, you know, but it's kind of like, it's like the on the the vibrator that's there, but not charged. You know, it's, oh, that's going to be great. Something to chuck. Right, so these rings, they've never, these rings have never caught on because they don't, the paints are uncomfortable, and they're not that effective. In order to count the number, not trim directions overnight, we have to reinvent the erection ring. Our rings are made out of, they made out of a soft elastic, it's spongy, it's comfortable, they can be worn for hours because our goals can't not trim directions overnight. But for sex, you want things to be tighter, so you can pull it through the loop, tighten it up, matter of fact, if a guy's dick is that small, it's only a little bit, but you can make it, you can make it really tight, you know, for to maximize the performance and comfort. And it's, yeah. You know, I, it is it better? What is it better medically? Is it better? Even subjectly. So here's the data. We've documented 137,000 erections. The thought was that as men get older, not the thought, the day the show, as men get older, the incidence of reptile dysfunction goes up 10% per decade, at rate 50, but I'm 72, but my age is, it's 70%. The expectation of the doctors in this area was that as, as the reptile dysfunction goes up, the number not trim directions will come down, the firm is not too rational to come down, and the firm is a sex rational to come down. Now that's true for the 10th 12% of men who ask significant cardiovascular disease because they're not going to blood it. And that's what the, so the data is really important, especially for men who are 45, 50. Now this, this is available. They should get their data just the way you, you want to know your blood pressure, like your cardiovascular proteins, get your data because even if it's normal, you're now established in a baseline. So, and the same thing is never true for when we come out with the female slice, even someone as young as you, they get my data because that way, even if I don't need the data right now, I can establish a trend. Exactly. So, the data is really valuable, but the data is also, if you exclude the 10, 12 percent of men who have significant heart or arterial problems, the firmest of men's erections doesn't deteriorate for the late 60s or the 70s, and even then it's not enough that it's barely and barely noticeable. I mean, you know, so, because we have a weak rate firmness on one to 10 scale. And for guys, I'm starting off with guys not at no actual erections at age 50, average is 7. And he goes down to a 6 at age 68. He really can't tell the difference. It's the same thing, you know, if my erections go from a very between 9 and 10, I can't tell. Or if I can't tell, they're both rock hard. The device can tell the difference, but not the person. So why these men staying hard as they get, these older men staying hard, but reporting a more erectile dysfunction? Why do men lose their erections? What are these men reporting? The men who have heart disease struggle to get an erection or can't attain an erection. They need to see cardiologists, even if they're your age, men who get most men though get an erection and then lose their erection. And this goes down to your age up to my age. What is going on with these men? They're getting blood in, they might still have diabetes, hypertension, but it's not so bad that they're not getting blood into their peers, but losing the erection. And the reason for losing the erections could be multifactorial. One could be medications that we doctors prescribe without warning people about the sexual side effects, anti-pertensives, antipressants, anti-zide medications. And this is impacting women, your age as well, to women, your age taking hormones and antipressants and anti-zide medications way more than men do. I was in hormones and they have an impact on sexual forms, the women, women, your age. But all the women, post-menopause, all the same problems that men do with diabetes, hyperattack, gypsies, etc. So this is a problem for both sexist and men are getting their erections and then they're losing them. Women have an advantage, they got vibrators. Men don't have vibrators. I'm talking about an old post-menopausal, a paramedic post-menopausal, people. The end of erection and we lose it. Or if it happens to younger men as well too, what's going on? Well, the guy could be worrying about pain in the mortgage. The baby cried next room, he's stressed about work. His wife is cheating on him. He wants to, he's had that third cocktail. Why did I smoke that entire joint? That was stupid. Or maybe we should left the party at midnight rather to a clock in the morning because I'm really tired right now. Whatever reason is all for the confidence issue, the man gets the rest of the elusive. Well, the goal of therapy should be focused on keeping blood in. The PD5 medications by Agrocialis being the biggest ones, they put more blood in and that's nice. But they don't keep it there. A ring, a well-designed restaurant which ours is, will keep the blood in the penis and address this issue that many men have. Men, your age who are unmarried and are dating, isn't intimidating. The reality is, men start to become sensitive, if you will, about the confidence issues. In the mid-twenties, they don't want to admit it to themselves. Look, your guy, your 12 years old girl gives you a peck on the cheek, got a hard hour, an hour and a half. That doesn't happen to guys age 25 or 30. It just doesn't, you know, you might get a little squirreling or twitch, but you're not going to, you know, just the way you might get wet on the surface of the circumstances. You're not going to like fully arouse, you know, you know, the blue balls disappear as they age around age 21 or 22. It just doesn't happen because guys actually start to deteriorate sexually in their late 20s. Women don't deteriorate sexually until they're, until men are born. It's really, it's really interesting because, and by deterioration, I mean, you know, getting back that, that, that, what you're going to get in allergy, that kid gets a hard on really easily and stays without stimulation for a long period of time. That kid does not need the penis. That same kid could probably jerk off, you know, eight, ten times a day at age 30s down to four or five times a day. And by age 40s down to, oh my god, twice a day, maybe three, maybe, you know, I mean, I often joke with my wife, if the goddess Aphrodite walked in here right now, well, that's a whole game over, I'm leaving because that's going to be incredible. But, you know, but by my age, I mean, I, I try to have sex pretty much every day, either with myself or with my wife, by the way, and all kinds of things, you start the way I recommend this. I believe it. I don't, and I don't understand, frankly, people don't do that. What's the point? But we can talk about all of our orgasms, absolutely. But, you know, it doesn't, you know, and frankly, because of switching back, fortunate men and women here, post-menopausal women who take testosterone, they continue to have sexual alias, women in the 30s and 40s. And that's, you know, certainly within three to five years, they'll become a standard care. By the time you're guys are facing that problem, so to speak, it's not going to be a problem. It's going to be, it's going to be, or it's going to be like that much of a problem as opposed to, you know, my god, change of life, I'm going to be, you know, because testosterone is, so it's so, you know, so effective with women. And we're talking about women, I mean, we are the better. The message for men is to put a ring on it. And so, you know, even when you're a age, you've probably, you know, you've experienced guys who are dating, who are confidence, or they get real excited and then they lose it. But if whatever reason could be something you said, it could be that they just, they want to impress you and they think, worry about impressing their head or, or happens in the last time. And frankly, as I speak as a man, you know, if it just be mysterious, I mean, I, I start first thought, first time I experienced losing erection was I was in my, my late 20s, 20s many years ago. And then something, oh my god, I'll kill myself, you know, and then, and then you go out somewhere else and you know the problem. I'm going to women discuss this well too. There is a certain magic as you get older in the connection. It's less magical in your 18, you can turn down anything. But when you, but when you, you know, when you're 20 or 30, you know, there's, it's matched, it, and for me, it was, it was, you know, people don't use it anymore. It was romantic. They're women who turn me on and they're women who, you know, I wasn't that turned on, but it really regardless of the looks were something as the looks became less important. And you know, through the 20s, you know, 30s, like it really became more of, because it's woman named Ali Gilbert, she's a big influencer and in a bodybuilding hormone test, hormone testosterone thing. And she talks about being a sapiosexual, I'm meaning that, but it's like I interact to intelligence to get older. And that's, you probably guys, you probably both are experienced that to some degree. Anyway, so, but the day, by the way, the day the tech ring data, it's inevitable, this data will end up on dating websites. And that would really because, well, Casanella, do you guys want to go out with someone who's a six or a ten in their reptile? Oh my God, could you, you don't, you can't tell, you can't tell by looking at someone, you know, that the guy might hit check allses, other boxes. Could you imagine the emoji next to that on Bumble, like what your number is to like eggplant, like that would be, that's actually kind of crazy. That would be really interesting. Do you find that there's any hurdles getting men to try this ring? Like I, not when a woman introduces. Really? So there are two aspects is one, one visit date asked them, and about 30% of our tech ring support by women for their men. These are women old and you, these are women who are, you know, they're married, they're in a, they're in a committee relationship with someone and they've noticed a duration in their sexual performance. And both from combination with, you've gained 25 pounds or you're not taking your blood pressure pills or you drink it too much, but they're, they're concerned and data, you know, men are more data, men are data oriented, I don't want to say, no, I'm not data of the men are data oriented though, and we will respond to, you know, to data almost compared to them. And we've had three million cardiac catheterizations. Wow. All the, all the ring was bought by, you know, there was, but for younger men, it's really, we look to women to introduce it. You know, guys are uptight about, they have straight guys have this male pride issue about erection rings. I don't need that. Well, some of them needs about what? You do want to, I mean, I, you know, it's like, like, I'm going to say, I'm going to talk to the vibrate now, I should be for it. You probably don't need a vibrator, but it's better with a vibrator. So it's not about needs, but what? So the five questions that a man should ask himself, well, frankly, it should have his female partner ask him about rings is, you want a rock harder? Well, everyone wants to get harder. Guy, or the vibrators make women harder, but what a man happens? Everyone wants a rock harder. So, if a rock harder, I mean, getting the maximum blood into the penis. So, beyond, guys, it's, it's a listening, but we haven't listened to this. Beyond rock hard, this cock ring hard, nothing of the guy harder than a cock ring. no amount of oral, manual, vaginal, anal stimulation you're gonna get a heart in the clock ring. My growth with our maximum performance ring increased by four millimeters. Now that's like that, it's nothing. But that's still more blood than that's actually spread out of my, over my penis. That's more blood that I can get without it. The more blood's in the penis, the harder the erection, the more sensitive the erection, the more powerful the orgasm. Guys, put a ring on it. So you want it, so you're gonna get harder. You want a rock harder. Of course, every guy wants a rock harder. Do you want to last longer? The, of course, every guy wants to last longer or have more control over how long they last. Three, do you want to have a more intense orgasm? This is a big one for guys to fucking understand. I get really good, I'm bored with men who tell me, usually straight guys, you know, I'm good. My growth is good. Oh, you want blood. That's like, I'm really like telling you, ladies, hey, ladies, you know, it's just low speed on the vibrate from now on. Just one speed. It's good. Hey, don't complain. Sorry, it's good, right? It's good, it's good, it's good. But, you know, so you want to see how do we produce a more intense orgasm? You put the right amount of pressure over the erythra to draw through the jackatory phase. So you have to make a jackatory phase. Your age, it's about five, six seconds at my age, it's about three to four seconds. My jackatory phase goes from four seconds to seven seconds, with our maximum performance rate. Well, that's incredible orgasm. I don't have sex without it. And four years ago, we've been like, these other straight guys, we've been, I don't need that, I'm good. I'm like, have a good time, my wife. Now it's like, it's, yeah, it's fucking great. My wife says she's glad the kids around us. So I'm noisy for the first time. That makes us feel good too. I mean, you guys, I mean, you like it when a guy's like, just like that. Just like that. Exactly like that. And I've never, you know, I was before, it's like, my orgasm is good. But now like, I'm like, I'm like, I can, I can, a couple of times, she won the pillow. Oh my god. And my wife loves that. She feels like she's a goddess, you know, it's got this power and combination. So do you want to mention no more tensoregasm? Next question is, do you want to be a confident? Do you want to know that even if you're tired, it'll long day at work, you shouldn't have danced that last hour, or you've had, well, that last two cocktails, put it off, you know, but knowing that once you get hard, the ring is on, the ring can put on when it matters. Flas it, our rings. You're going to be hot. I'm hard for like 45, 50 minutes of mental stimulation now. My wife loves that because the last question is, do you want your partner to be more confident? Because the last thing that a woman wants, speaking to you ladies, I'm only saying this, presuming to think what ladies think, because I've been told this is, if they care about someone and the guy's going down on them, they worry about his erection. It's gonna lose, what's gonna happen afterwards? He's still turned on. Well, with the ring, he's still hard. And so my wife and I, we used to make a low on, 10, 50 minutes a day, and now we make love, 30, 45 minutes a day. Why? For so much more relaxed, both of us. I'm more confident, she's more confident in me. I'm gonna stay hard with less stimulation. It actually becomes more romantic. There isn't this sort of, even your, I know this goes on your age too, 'cause I was once your age, and I've got, you know, this, in my age, it's even worse, this sort of, hey, we turned on brushed orgasm. What position, so-for-a-bed, you know, get what toys we need, it's just sort of like this rush to get it done, especially early on in our relationship. And in my age, it has more to do with, they were older, we're gonna lose it faster. But with the ring, oh, it's not an issue, this, I'm gonna be hard on my wife, once, sometimes once, so, (laughing) So the ring is a gene changer. Get the data for your health, if you're a little bit older, 45 or older. But all men with a happy day or don't have a day, and most of them don't have a day. Let me talk about that again. I hate the word, or I thought this function, because we banned the word, "frigid for women," we should, I feel the same way about this function, for the guys who struggle to get direction, or can't attain direction. Okay, that's this function. For the vast majority of men with get erections, they lose it. That's just a problem. Put a ring on it. Get over your male pride, and enjoy it. I mean, anyone who answers, no, those five questions. No, I don't wanna have more tensoregism. No, I don't wanna last longer. No, I don't wanna be more comfortable. Those guys should have like a walk in their foreheads, so women know. (laughing) That guy's an asshole. (laughing) Not a good one. I mean, we've often heard from experts how erections are an unreliable resource, and I feel like the way you're talking about it, it's like this is a hack to make them a lot more reliable. Exactly. And the bio hack is say, a big on a hack, and well, you can really hack in it if you're not tracking. So when it comes to men's sexual health, or women's sexual health, a lot of them recommend dangerous to mate for it to improve sexual performance with supplements. What's the fucking data? I'm a, I take bunch of supplements, some which I know don't work. I'm taking those from my head, I'll see what the fact, but if you're gonna push something as a hack, then it should just be based upon conjecture or celebrity endorsement. Okay, proven. And objectively, men will perform better with a ring. Objectively, getting data about your sexual health, which is a reflection of cardiovascular health, and using data to track what's the right dose of a Viagra? Do I need to take 100? Do I work with 25? Do I need it? What's the right dose of testosterone? Or I don't wanna be the normal, normal for my age group, I wanna optimize it. So now I can follow my nut journal blood flow to see what you know, to help me determine what the right dose is. Let's get scientific about your, about how you approach your sexual health. Wow, I love it. I think that's such great information for our age to have, and to start normalizing assistance like that, more in tools and measurability. Yeah, Cassie, have any other questions? No, well, I guess my last question is just like, what do we love to give people really actionable steps they can take as soon as they turn off the episode? So like, what is one thing more people should be doing to monitor their sexual health with or without the technology that you've created? Well, monitoring, by having sex frequently, you're monitoring sexual health. You know, if you're, you know, if you can have sex and frequently, you don't know where you are. I mean, and that's the other thing that inspires confidence is frequently sex. When people, and I think there's more of an issue for men than it is, well, it's much more of a women's state as it is for men, as women will go without, will masturbate less. Not all, not all, but just to generalize. And then when you want to get back into it, it's not that easy people can just people, people lose their confidence. So I really, I really have a proponent to break this sexual activity. As a matter of fact, it amazed me that, you know, you go to the gym and you see all these fit people and because the people know my gym here in Montana, they know what I do, they talk to me about this sexual. And you think, just 35 years old, you're having sex, what, twice a month, three times a month, on date nights? What's wrong with you? You know, maybe you've worked, you know, you got a whiteboard there or you got a whiteboard on your phone, maybe you got a whiteboard on your bedroom, because it's, you're, no one of your marriage is problematic. No wonder you and your wife are seeing a therapist, much just try sex for us, much try sex having sex, you know, more regularly. And we know the couples that have sex three times a week, whereas couples have sex less than three times a month, have half the divorce or separation rate. I mean, it's just so easy for people. Yeah, it's actually, it's a shock number. It's a shock number, it's a huge number. So it's really, you did not know that. So the impact on the family, we have problems with divorce. And obviously, there are some people who successfully single parent, but it's hard. And we know the impact on children over divorced situation is significant. They're more less black and special high school, they're less black and earn money. They'll make incomes below, they're more black and be involved with drugs or alcohol or crime. I wish the President of the United States, or your government, or Portland, go to my government, government of Oregon, different besides the political spectrum. These guys should come out and say, or women should say, we want to try to reduce some Medicaid expenses. Here's something, and we want to try to control other people or in jail. Here's something you can do for us. We want everyone in Oregon ever look to have sex three times a week. (laughing) And that fact, if you can prove you've had sex three times a week with the tech ring, thank you, Governor. (laughing) We will give you a text credit for the device, and we will cut your income to your cut your, whatever, probably taxable. I know, I'm joking around with this. You sold it. I'm in. All right, all right to the government tomorrow. Right. (laughing) You tell Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that we don't want to make America healthy again. We want to make America harder again. Hard again.

FAQs

The podcast explores various life topics, especially those that feel sticky or shameful, aiming to create a supportive community where listeners feel less alone.

People often feel shame because they worry something is wrong with them or their partner, fearing judgment or that their bodies are broken, when in reality bodies are just unpredictable.

Dr. Elliott Justin is a former emergency room director with 25 years of experience, now focused on sexual wellness and the inventor of the Firm Tech Ring, a smart wearable for men's sexual health.

Erection rings are designed to be soft, comfortable, and less intimidating, made from elastic material that can be worn for hours, unlike traditional hard silicone rings that can pinch and are uncomfortable.

Nocturnal erections are a leading indicator of cardiovascular health; a significant drop in their frequency or firmness can signal a higher risk of heart attack or stroke in the next few years.

Vibrators help normalize and support women's sexual wellness by providing reliable pleasure, reducing shame, and offering tools that enhance sexual experience without judgment.
