cruise but it's her family time this week she's in missouri yes that's so fun yeah yeah well we're here to share the hope and the heart with heart and humor we've done this back to back to back now so i'm like what is going on what is there to talk about i'm sure we'll think of something no i feel like this is gonna be a really fun episode last time we did this style of episode we decided we're kind of did this quarterly yeah does that feel too often no no okay sick i don't know ask them yeah we're we did our abby's favorites episode this was like one of the og uh formats that we thought of about and originally we were like let's do a monthly i'm like wow that's crazy that is actually crazy um no the last time you filmed when people thought we were high yeah they kept asking if we did edibles or something i don't know why we were like just so on one that day that here's the thing if you don't ever do them then just sometimes it naturally just happens it's like you gotta get higher as well yeah you're like oh just high off life high off life whatever it is so maybe we'll try to channel that energy again today yeah who knows i hope we can i hope we can you needed a coffee upon arrival yeah i did so i'm in pain so that's my heart so i was shocked when i walked into the gym today who do i see not even just at the 8 30 class but early i was five minutes early what came over you i don't know truly i don't know i felt a little weird like it was like an accident yeah it was it just feels unnatural getting to places five minutes early like i sat in the car and just like twiddling my thumbs you know i wasn't gonna go inside that felt embarrassing so i just waited until everyone else started to go inside i would do the same honestly yeah early but yeah uh yeah that felt a little stressful but i was on time it does make a difference when you get the warm-up a part of your workout because the warm-up is pretty difficult yeah so i normally never make the work warm-up so that was fun yeah add a little element to my we're gonna add a little element i'm hurting that's my that's literally my heart it was a really hard my body hurts so bad from that i'm like that was bad that idea what is it the jumping or the running or the running really hurt and then yeah but you know what kept me going why i saw that video of that woman that was 40 weeks pregnant that did like a five minute mile whoa i was like i physically can do this okay i physically can't do a five minute mile but i physically can run while pregnant i can't yeah literally at this point i can't i don't think you can't i could i felt like i couldn't i thought i was gonna get prolapse or something from it it which could happen so bad yeah just maybe listen to your body and i wasn't even i wasn't even running like i was really like yeah i started running early i and i love to run like i run frequently when i'm not pregnant and the minute i start get pregnant at like 17 weeks i get the worst sciatic pain and like the worst pelvic floor pain i'm like it's just not worth it it was the it was the pubic bone uh-huh but now that hurts and my lower back hurts and i think it was the we did squat clean jumps onto the ledge and that was just like the most insane amount of pressure yeah like i was like nah i don't want to do that i didn't even do that move not right no one did that move and i was like yeah i just didn't feel safe sam was watching me so i was like i'm just gonna do it i'll do it i did 12 pound weight so i wasn't like i was really doing anything crazy but yeah i was like so then today when we did the play a play day with our kids i was like i'm sitting here the whole time yeah i literally can't possibly move and now that both kids go potty and at different times i'm like walking you gotta get up so lazy but you know what they didn't even know this is a difference they were having a great time they're sweating like crazy that was such a fun that was a good place it's a good place right should we shout it out shout out super play super play yeah the owner was there today and he said they're opening up two more locations in arizona yeah i'm such a huge fan we have hosted a birthday party there before we go there frequently it's great because like when you have high energy kids but you live in a climate that is like 120 degrees right like it's summertime it's you gotta get out of the house but like what are you gonna do you can't go to the park you don't want to go to the pool every single day and so and if your kids don't swim it's like what do you do you know yeah and so it's a great air conditioned place where they can blow off some steam it's very clean super clean very kid friendly and they um like have they're very intentional about like having eyesight on a lot of areas and like no screens and it's kind of like throwback themed yeah it was really cute yeah they had a lot of fun cj was obsessed their soft pretzels are insane it looked yeah i was like shoot don't start because once you start you can't stop okay good it won't start they're so cute so good they shouldn't be yeah um so how's my heart what's your heart i don't really have a heart i was laughing um because i posted a video with caleb that he's been doing the shed you know and someone commented and i got a couple messages being like you talking on the podcast about how burnout he isn't giving him this massive house project to do i was like you know what fair and you know what he did tell me he is burnt out officially so i'm like great sorry but it's a hobby maybe it's like filling fulfilling this is filling your cup right this is creative creative outlet yes but i'm not like putting the pressure on him to finish it it will just be really nice to have the separate office space when it is done so he's kind of feeling motivated to do that but i don't think we have like a serious hard yeah just that no mine's not serious yeah yeah my pubic bone will be all right and you should just lay down after this lay horizontally in your pool yeah yeah just float that is what i'm that yeah coming up later get all the pressure off that that sounds amazing but my hope though this is just also so light but i feel like there was a stretch there where we ate out so much because we were traveling back to back yeah eating at home actually has healed me not my yeah i still have stomach problems but just everything about it i just feel a lot better yeah the inflammation in your body probably i just like eating at home yeah i just do i feel better i guess maybe yeah it's inflammation i don't know what it is well it's really crazy like because i cook almost every single meal at home yeah i mean we it's not even like a once a week we eat out like we very rarely eat out and so when we do go through spurts like on a vacation or a trip we're eating out constantly it is like really a night and day difference in how we feel and i think it is just you know a different sodium and maybe it's not like you're eating unhealthy foods it's just the oils and everything are different you just feel it when you're used to a certain thing yeah and i think it's just i don't know you can control the portions more there's also that like yeah for sure i don't know i just feel a lot better and i just feel like sometimes eating out just i'm like oh my gosh we just spent so much money yeah i'm just that now i can make that at home totally just feel better about everything for sure for sure my hope um it's actually really exciting my dad is a radio dj in st louis and he's done that on the same radio station for 50 years that's so cool isn't that crazy so this have him on the pod have him on the pod he would love to he's been his job literally for 50 years um and so your dad's job is my dad's worst fear no truly everyone's like bring the dads on it's like i just don't think we'd get both dads no i would have some i know so i'll just do something with my dad on my own he is having the radio station it's a rock station so they're throwing him like a big well they're doing a huge concert and then they're honoring him at this concert yeah so i'm going home for it on friday just for like a 24-hour trip oh yeah i know it's gonna be a whirlwind just like a turnaround thing but we're gonna go on stage and present an award to him my sisters and i they put together a little video that and john our father-in-law and um all of their uncles like uncle bob uncle brett they're all going oh is that fun i'm gonna be on stage like hey uncle I know, and they have, like, a compilation video. So CJ and Vivian put a little video in. Congratulations, my dad. So, yeah, it'll be really fun. That's really sweet. I know. That'll be great. I'm excited, and I'm excited just to see my sisters and hang out with them. So I'm really – even though it'll just be a day, I'm pumped. That makes it fun. It totally does. Yeah, so that'll be – that's this weekend. So I'm sure I'll recap it when I get back. But, yeah. We thought it'd be kind of fun today and kind of fitting with this episode of doing favorites to do What's My Bag element. And when I say we, I mean Abby because she carries a bag, and I don't carry a bag regularly. So mine's going to be – Every week on our planning calls, I'm like, what about what's in my bag? I think I recommend – No, I need this. I need to know what to put in a bag because here's the thing. We went to New York, and I, like, had a purse because I rented it from, like, Fashion Pass with my outfits, and I was like, I need to carry this. And I was like, guys, look what's in my purse. One lipstick. No, I'm not – I think you'll see in my purse it's mostly lipstick. Okay, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So let's see. Let's see what's in our bag. We're going to do it. Okay, do it. Mine's going to be literally just an authentic – I just grabbed this from my mudroom. Yeah, same. I don't know. Nothing has changed. I have my bag. Do you want to go first? I think you should go first. Mine's a little heavier. Thank you. No, mine's heavy, but I don't – Okay. Well, let me show off the bag first. This is my Coach Outlet. I think it's the Air and Shoulder Bag in chocolate brown. It's my favorite bag. I'm obsessed with it. I'm going to start with the outside pockets first because those are boring and easy. Okay, the one pocket, I have two. Size 3 Millimoon diapers from Miss Vivian. And I also – ooh, look. First lippy. Let's count them up at the end. Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips. I don't love this, but – Oh, I was going to say, I've never seen you use that one. Yeah, it's not that good. But, you know, when in doubt. Okay, the other side, I have two outer pockets. I have two size 5 pull-up diapers for CJ. I also have some wipes from Hello Bello. These ones are scented, but they're not scented. They're not scented. It's like essential oiled. No. Yeah, they are. They're – Give me that. I use those. Aloe. Aloe, I know. And they smell nice. Aloe is not essential. They smell. Yeah. I don't think – I'm not smelling anything. They smell nice. Oh, and ladies, you know, we're back to this. So there's two lights, which is not doing nothing for nobody. But, you know, just in case there's an emergency. You can double them up. Oh, I got three of those. Okay, now to the main pocket. I have a organic apple sweet potato. I actually should probably throw this away. Because I think it's – I think it's had some extreme heat to it. So we're going to throw – Plastic. Put that one in the – yeah, get that microplastic out of here. Get that microplastic out of here. I have my sunglasses. These are some Ray-Bans that I love. Got them for Christmas. And within this case, it's actually a part wallet. So I have a couple – my insurance card. Handy. I have a debit card in there. Handy. Yeah, I'm like, you know, I always bring that around. And then a chew toy – I'm sorry, a teether toy. I always call them chew toys. They are. They are scrunchie. My keys. I have – I've never seen you wear a scrunchie. Yeah. I don't know why that's in there. It's got a lot of hairs coming out of it. I just got this hand sanitizer at Trader Joe's. They have good hand sanitizer. Yeah, it smells delicious. I love that one. I have three pens. These are the best pens. The Pilot G207. Love it. I should have – I'm adding this to my list when we're going to the list. This is a great pen. I've used these since college specifically. Good pens. Okay, I have the little Super Goop unseen sunscreen I just keep in my bag. Throw it in my part on my face. There's a lot in this bag. No, it's – I think this is very – all this makes sense in a bag. Yeah, thank you. I'm taking notes. I have a little chocolate trail mix. This is my favorite one from Trader Joe's. You never know when you need that. Yeah, cashews, almonds, and chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. How does that not melt? I just put it in today. Okay. I was going to eat it, but then you got me that salad, so. Okay. I did Venmo Matt for that, by the way. Why? Why? I have some trash. Okay, then I have two of the Kosas Lip Pulse Glassy Lip Pumpers in these pinks that are really pretty. My favorite lipstick. My favorite lipsticks ever are from Merit. This is the Signature Lip. It's really, really hydrating. I'm a very, very dry girly. The color Bespoke is my favorite. I have it on right now. And then the color Ginger is like a orangey-brown. It's also very pretty. It's actually empty, so I'm going to throw that one away. Okay. This is like cleaning out my bag. This is a good idea. The One Skin Lip SPF. I really like this. We did an ad with One Skin, and I really like this. Yeah, you know what? I always thought it was weird that you put sunscreen on your lips, and my lips got burnt last weekend. Really? Yeah, I have to because I get freckles on my lips. I got more. I got a Marajuku Juicy Lipstick from Tarte in Hibiscus. I have a roll-on of Ralph Lauren. Ralph Lauren Midnight Romance. This surely is expired. Midnight Romance. I haven't had that since high school. How did it end up in your brand new bag? I think I thought it was my dime one that I've been transferring over. Okay. I like a thicker lead. Yeah. Oh, a tech deck. Did people want this content? I'm actually surprised I don't have a Hot Wheels in my purse. Because the little wheel things, a tech deck, an eight. Perfect. - Right. These tech decks are really cool. Those are really cool. But you have to know that they, this is so niche. They come, the real tech decks come without the wheels and like all this on there. You have to build it. And Matt had to build it. And he was like, I, like this was a really fun idea, Abby. Because it took me two hours to do like three of them. It's like the teeniest, tiniest screwdriver. Another tech deck. Oh, heck. Moldy Clementine is very mom-coded. Boarding passes and also bag tags. That's everything. I mean, that was entertaining. That's a true mom bag. That is a true mom bag. That is so spooky scary. And, you know, I promised I'd give people authenticity. And, what do you get? Is that another tech tech? Oh, Ricola. Yeah, don't look in there. I don't want to do it again. She's been sick, ladies and gentlemen. I was sick, okay? Literally, I was like, I showed up and I was like. Oh, my gosh, a lippy. I don't like this one. Is that your only lip product in here? Only lip product. Do you not get dry lips? It's messed up how the ratio of tech techs to lip products in here. The ratio is off. Oh, wait. Oh, what is this? Oh, oh, what is this? This is smart. We got to put this away. I don't know. This thing is scary. I need lessons. I need lessons and I need help. Lessons. Here's the thing. That gets so heavy, too. Yeah, they do. They do. The kids are like, I can't carry my own water bottle. And I'm like, just throw it in my bag. I know. 50 pounds later. That's the beauty of the Duna. You can just start throwing them on little boy. Sometimes I'm like, here, baby, hold that. Thank you. You give her a whole hydro. Yes. Yes. And I have a hook on it. I'll have mine on the hook and then I'll have CJ's just like kind of resting in there. I need to get a hook. Yeah. I need to find a plug. I think Teresa got it for me off Timu. I'm serious. It's a great hook. Okay. Well. Yeah. Heck. Remember she went through. I remember she had like one season where she really loved Timu when it first came out. And she got a bunch of like little gadgety things. And I use that every day. Yeah. We did get a lot of gadgets. Yeah. It's fun. Okay. That was a great warm up. Sweating. See, it is stressful. I didn't have one actually for that. Oh, yes, I did. Okay. Let me hear. I love the Hydro. What's it called? Hydro Boost. I've never heard of that. Oh, is it blue? Yeah. Yeah. I've used that since college. Nice. I like it for during the day because it's really light on the skin and it goes well under makeup. Yeah. It's not the most hydrating one you can get, but I feel like you want the hydration at night anyway. I don't want anything heavy on the skin, especially in the summertime. Okay. Yeah. Matt and I both love that one. Yeah. I think Caleb's used that one a couple times. It's a gel. It's not a cream. I do like a gel moisturizer. My favorite is the La Roche-Posay Double Repair Moisturizer. I think it has a weird name, like Double Repair Tolerane or something like that, but it's really good. It's thick. It is really thick, but I have super dry skin, so I need something that's a little more full strength, you know, needs to really soak into my face. Do you wear that during the day? I wear it all the time. Oh, okay. I do. I'll put my moisturizer on in the morning after I shower midday and then at night before bed. Yeah, same. So, yeah. I put on three times a day. Yeah. Okay, wow. Yeah, I put on a lot, but it does do the trick. You can get it at Target and all that, too. And I feel like you get a lot of it. It's a big. Their stuff is really, really good. Really good. Everything. I love it. This one I mentioned last time, but I'm going to keep talking about it. The product I repurchased without thinking every single time is the Ilia Skin Tint. So good. I have not repurchased a product more times than that one. Same, I think. Like, it just is an automatic rebuy when it's done. Yeah. And I wouldn't say it's like. And I've tried the collagen ones, the pink, the yellow one, which is the vitamin C, and the blue, which is something else. What? Is this the brand of. I don't even know. Therese and Honor. Yeah, they're just on Amazon. It's a Korean skincare brand. They're the ones that like everyone uses? No, I haven't seen anybody. I just bought them on Amazon because they had good reviews, and they're really effective. Okay. Like I noticed a massive difference in my underarm. And they're affordable, like road eye patches. I don't. Can you look up the price and how many you get? But normally, you'll get like maybe 10 patches. But they're single use, right? Yes, which is annoying. And you just don't get that many in a pack. What is it for the road, for example? Sephora has six of them for $25. Six eye patches, single use for $25. There's 30 patches in the Therese and Honor for $20. So it's a whole month of eye patches for $20. That's a big difference. Yeah. And they really work. I like the collagen ones the best and the pink. Yeah. You put them on right when you wake up? Yeah. I love it. I feel like my kids were fascinated and talk about it. Augie kept poking up. He's like, what is that? This is the Supergoop Play. People said that unseen sunscreen that I keep in my purse, there's a Trader Joe's dupe. Really? Yeah. So if you're at Trader Joe's and you see it, maybe pick it up and try it. But I'm allergic to majority of sunscreens, actually. They give me full body rashes. And the Supergoop, I haven't had any reaction to. It's really lightweight, and I have not had a single sunburn. I think it's worth spending extra on. It's really good. Because it also, like, it is skincare. Yeah, it is. So, like, we justify spending a lot on skincare. Right. And there's some creepy things in sunscreens. Yeah. And this has lasted me a long time. Like, we live in this, I've been using this maybe since April, and I'm still full. It's so easy to rub in. Yeah. I hate when it's so hard to rub in. It's not thick. Especially with kids. You have a moving target. Totally agree. I love it. Yeah. La Roche-Posay also has a good one, too. I do. I have the kids one in here. Yeah, that was what I was going to say. I love the kids one. This one is mineral. You're going to be able to tell because, like, it does go on, like, purpley white. Yeah. But it does rub in really well, and it doesn't leave a cast. What is it? So this one is a good one if you are wanting mineral, especially, like, if you go to Hawaii, you do want a mineral because of the reefs. Yeah. Do they have just, like, a lotion one and not a spray? I do think, okay, on the topic of lip things, I'm not an expert on lip products, but I do love the Summer Fridays ones, and I feel like everyone always talks about these. I feel like they either talk about road or Summer Fridays, but this new one. What is this? Look at the color. Can I put it on? Yeah. I've never actually tried a Summer Friday. It would look so good on your lip. Like, that color would look so good on you. And it does. It looks good on you. I'm going to get my lipstick off. I really like these. It smells good. Like, because it gives you joy. It gives you just enough, like, little color. It smells really good, and this thing lasts. I have this one. So, I mean, they charge a lot for a lip product, but you can wear it for a really long time. Yeah. What is it? This is Vanilla Beige. I think these are $27. And then, does it have SPF? Mm-mm. No SPF. That does feel really nice on the lips, though. It does. I actually don't think it smells good. You don't like the smell? I don't dislike the smell. I don't like the smell. My current makeup obsession, it's got to be this Merit Signature Lip. I'm talking about lips. It's in the color Bespoke. I have a handful of these in multiple of their colors. They're my favorite lipsticks I've ever worn. Really? They're so hydrating, and I don't think the colors are, like, you know, sometimes you put a lipstick on, and it has color, and it, like, goes into the creases on your lips, and it just doesn't go on. I don't feel like I'm old enough to wear lipstick. I didn't either until I got this, and I'll never go back. Like, I love this lipstick so much, and also, this is, like, the perfect color for me. It's, like, a nudey brown, but. Pretty. And they have the lip liners that go with them, and they're just really good products. I love everything. Merit. I love it. I love it. Merit is really good. My favorite makeup brand. Next, we're doing our current. Makeup Obsession. I don't know. I think Obsession is strong for this, but I've started using the Well People powder from Amazon, and I love a translucent powder. I know it's not trendy right now. Maybe not because you have dry skin. Yeah. But for me, I would like a little powder, especially to set my under eye concealer. I literally just put it briefly underneath my, like, a little bit underneath my eyes, and then just in my T-zone, I, like, dot it with a little makeup triangle, and their powder is clean, and it does. It's amazing. It's amazing. Wow. It's a loose translucent powder. When you, okay, here's what's always throwing me off with the translucent powders. Do you put it in, like, the lid? Yes. Okay. And then I just dab it. Dab it in there. Yes. Because, you know, when you put it in the powder itself, it just, it's, like, way too much. You can't even do that because it has, like, a little dial, but, yeah, that would be way too much. Crazy. That would be crazy. That would be a lot. Yeah. I feel like it sets my, that, my concealer so it, my mascara doesn't drip down the day or, like, anything settle into my creases or anything. I like it. I should try that. I've always wanted to try an undry powder, but, yeah, I'm dry, but I feel like it helps brighten your undry so much. It does. It brightens it so much, and this one's so light on the skin. I feel like a lot of them are really heavy where it's, like, your skin underneath your eyes is so, is different from the rest of your face. It's so thin. Okay. And so putting anything heavy on it just. It makes it look older. It goes in the crease. It's not good. This one's so lightweight, but then on a lot of those powders, what do they use? I think they use, like, talc, and that's not, I don't know. Yeah. I don't think you want to use it. I don't think you want to use that. Yeah, I don't think talc is, it's not a praise. It's not, it's not highly. Not highly recommended. But this one's clean, and it's, it's amazing. I'll continue to repurchase one as long as it's available on Amazon. Okay. Well People translucent powder. Fun. My, my answer for that one was the Merit Bespoke. On the Merit one, though, since you love Merit, you use their Blur Stick. No, uh-uh. You've never used it? No, what do you use it for? Okay, this thing is so cool. I saw an ad, and I was like, this would be so good for like, I think about like our mom's generation. Wait, what's the difference between the Blur Stick and the, what's it called? They're like main. I think this is their main thing. Yeah. I have it in a handful of colors, but I've never used it. Okay. You literally, it's just like those ads. It's like a crayon. You just put it on your skin. Uh-huh. And then I do kind of think you need their brush. Their brush is good. Rub it in, and your skin is like. It literally looks totally new, but it feels like nothing's on your skin. Huh. And it's clean. Do you put it on over your skin tint, or do you just do it on days you don't use the skin tint? I just do this on days I don't use the skin tint. Yeah. And especially if I'm like, okay, I'm going to go to the gym, and then I'm going to go do something afterwards, but I want to feel slightly put together. Like, I don't know why, if I have a doctor's appointment after the gym, I'm like, I want to have a little something. Mm-hmm. And this combo is amazing. It literally is like, you could put this in your car, and just you'll feel put together in 30 seconds. I have the bio-ionic long one. Yeah. And it was a splurge. I looked back at that price. I bought it years ago, and it has, it's never done me wrong. Really? My hairdresser used it on my hair, and I was like, oh, I really like this. And it's very gentle. I don't know what the, the blades are. I think it's tight. I have such a beef. I have such, I have such a curling iron crisis. What is your curling iron crisis? I had the best curling iron. I bought it in high school, and it had double. It had changing barrels, and they were ceramic barrels. And my hair held that curl for days. Like, so well. Never used hairspray. Like, the curl was so unbelievable. It went out after Caleb and I got married. I purchased four different barrels and curling wands. And I got stuck with one that I just didn't return fast enough. And I hate it. And it's a titanium barrel. I don't like it. I know. I don't know what mine is. It says that they have ones that are ceramic, metal complex, or titanium. Is it silver? No. Is it black? Yeah. Then it's probably ceramic. Okay. Yeah. Ceramic. It's the best. I think ceramic makes the best curl. Um, these. This curling iron, I can curl my hair super, super fast. It's really, really good. And if it broke, I would repurchase it right away. That's how you know it's good. Yeah. I've used it for years and years and years. And I feel like a good curling iron is something that I'm like, it's worth a little extra spending. Yeah. And it does not damage or crisp up my hair. Yeah. I really don't think it does. Oh, I hate my curling iron so much. Obviously, it's doing some damage. But I have the 1.25 inch, which I feel like is, with all the changing hair trends, I feel like 1.25 is very neutral. And it has served me through all of them. Uh-huh. That's good. Mine that I put is the Fresh Rosewater Toner. My roommate in college bought this. She went through a skincare phase. She bought so much skincare. And then she didn't end up using it. So she gave it to me. And I was like, this is so cool. And I used it all. It completely changed my skin. And then I went to buy it. And I was like, wow, it's $45. I'm so upset about that. But I continued to purchase it. For about six years. Twice a year. I would go through two of the big bottles a year. So I'm like, OK, every six months, I think I can cough up $45 for a product that is truly changing my skin. And I haven't purchased it within the last year because I've just PR other skincare stuff's been sent. And I wanted to use up stuff that I have. But I will be repurchasing this again. It really was so good on my skin. And it smells good. It's super hydrating. If you don't have dry skin, you don't need it. But it's a really good product. You just need to find a rosebush. Well, I tried the Mario Amose. You're so dumb. I'm not kidding. You can actually make rosewater. Really? I mean, is it literally just rosewater? No, I think there's other stuff in it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I tried the Mario Badescu rosewater toner. Trash. Not good. So bad. And so I tried some other ones to offset the price of this one. And the fresh is the best. I know. Does it smell good? Super good. I love the smell of roses. It's really pretty. It's kind of an old lady scent, but I love it. No, amazing. Amazing product. Our next category is the drug store. The drug store find I'm telling everyone about. I honestly love this stuff. Juergen's Natural Glow. This is from the drug store. And so not every day do you want to, or not even necessarily every week, do you want to do like the full mousse self-tanner. And this is, you can't mess it up because it's a lotion. And it's just so, it's so easy. Just put this on. I put lotion on my body every day after I shower. Yeah, I do too. And so just sometimes I will use this. And I feel like it gives a nice, I haven't used it in a minute, but. Like it gives a nice glow without like, no one's going to be like, oh, did you tan? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like it's very subtle, but if you do it, if you keep up with it, I feel like it's just, it's very maintainable. Totally. It actually is hydrating. I remember when they came out with that. I was in middle school. I have such a distinct memory. I remember it too. I got addicted. I was like, I need lotion. I was addicted and I put it on so much that I got orange like all over. Oh. Well, yeah, I'm sure it's changed since I was in the seventh grade. It's a good formula. This one you cannot mess up. Okay. Because if you could, I would have. I also was 11. So, you know what I mean? I was going a little crazy. My mom was like, you need to stop. You need to stop. My drugstore find, this is the Versed Vitamin C Skin Brightening Serum. Love it. Vitamin C apparently is really important and really good to use. And I noticed a big difference in my skin when I used it. Really affordable. Get it at Target. It's the Versed brand. I really like all their stuff. I use their under eye concealer too. I've never used anything by them. Yeah, I know. I got on their PR list and they sent me some stuff. And I was like, wait, I love this. And I will be. I'm purchasing it all with my own money. Nice. Vitamin C serum. Yes. I think it's their skin brightening serum. That's what they call it. When do you put that in your routine? At the end of the day? No, I do it morning and night. Oh, my gosh. I do everything all the time. Oh, my gosh. I know. I can't think about splitting it up. They just dropped this right around Mother's Day. It's a little sweeter than Seven Summers. I think Seven Summers is the muskier version. This is a vanilla scent. I mean, I love vanilla. I love, love, love this so much. And Dime perfumes are all clean. Which I really love, especially when I'm holding my babies, you know. It just, nothing transfers and makes them itchy. So, I can't recommend this enough. I love it. If you like sweet scents and you like vanilla, you'll like this. It's really good. Do you wear perfume every day? I do wear perfume every day. I used to wear the Marc Jacobs Daisy. I loved it so much, but it actually smelled bad on me. Because you know how sometimes when they mix with your skin, they don't smell as good? That just happened to me. That one smelled bad. I continue to buy it because I still like it. It smelled bad on me. I haven't quite. I don't understand that. Like, I know that like it's the pH levels, but like this flight attendant. Remember when we went to New York, the flight attendant that smells so good? Yeah. I went to go purchase his cologne. For yourself? Yep. Because it smelled, it was like a feminine. Okay. On him at least. Sure. On me, it smelled bad. I couldn't get it away from me. Good thing you tested it. Yeah. And I was like, I don't want him to think I'm trying to make him girly. Your smell is amazing. I went with fragrance. Fragrance is good. Safe, safe bet. It was really good. I just felt not great about, you know, I didn't feel comfortable in my skin. So I didn't buy any clothes for a long time or anything. Nothing fits me. Yeah, exactly. It's just hard. But it's a mid-rise. They're shorter than I've worn in a long time, which is probably why I like them so much because I've only been wearing, like, longer shorts. I'm pretty tall. So I feel like lengths and inseams can be a little tricky sometimes. And these are really fun. And I love the color and the material of them. It's fun, too. It's like a sweatshirt material. They're from Target. So fun. Joy Lab. That's a good brand. So cute. Okay, my outfit formula, I'm living in. I'm literally wearing it today because I knew we were going to talk about this. And I wore it the last episode. Same formula, different colors. This skirt is from Quince. Really pretty. And I feel like everyone has been wearing white skirts like this recently. But this is a skirt that I can for sure wear now. It's not uncomfortable at all right now, even though it's very tight. It's not squeezing me at all. It doesn't leave marks on me. And I'll be able to wear it once the baby comes, too. And then these bra-free camis from Abercrombie. I was wondering if that was the Abercrombie one. It's so cute. The material looks like Abercrombie. You can tell I'm not wearing a bra. It's not. We're giving support, but it smooths everything. And I'm like, I don't care. We just need the nips covered. Just cover the nips. I just want my nips covered. Yeah. For me personally. If I get cold, I don't want people to know. Yeah. And sometimes you still get cold. I know. Sometimes you got to mind your own. But no, I literally bought a ton of these. I would say they're a little bit more. You're spending a little bit more, but the quality matches the price. shoe i do i know that's not popular anymore people like the samba but every time i put on a flat tennis shoe my legs look weird it's just not a flattering i don't want to jump on that i don't want to either i'm like maybe if i wear pants but i live in phoenix so how often do i wear pants flats because those were so in uh-huh no it's like where did my why did my ankles look like that my calves it's just not flattering on my leg too so i like i like a shoe that gives me a little lift i don't want to jump on that i don't want to lift and i love these they're comfortable they're cool i wanted these for three years and every christmas they were sold out and i finally got them this past christmas and i will repurchase them in more colors they're really cute thanks i like those me too uh there was a category that abby did not answer call me out the amazon find that earned a permanent spot in my closet it's this plaid skirt i've worn this thing to heck i thought that was from a boutique no it's from amazon it's it's 50 so it's not cheap for amazon some of the amazon prices it's a little bit it's a little i mean it's you know it's a good price i am sad because caleb accidentally stepped on it and it did rip oh and it's not really a rip that i could sew and fix it ripped vertically which is weird not at a seam but i have worn this skirt so many times and they have maybe five or six different colors of it and the quality is amazing you have five or six colors no no they have it in five or six colors but i've worn this skirt so many times i've worn it for family photos it's just a great neutral but it still has a pattern it's a really thick cotton material it's lined it's heavy it just well i thought it was good quality till it got stepped on but i love the waistband i can wear it pregnant postpartum and just normal it's probably been one of my favorite little fashion finds it's so versatile in this color that is a good one yeah i know i love it i'm bummed that it's torn but don't personally want to buy nice sunglasses and i think they look really cute they stay on my face yeah which i've come to realize i think i have a weird shaped face because a lot of sunglasses really you just have a big nose they like squeeze i just don't like the feel of them all the good ones are so comfortable they don't slip you could probably run in them no i would run a mine yeah i've never done it yeah but they would stay and they're durable they are really durable because i'm telling you i've put them to the test right and i think they have some really cute ones too they have some fun fun shapes my mom got obsessed with gooders years ago and got all of her pickleball girls like her whole little group chat of pickleball girls all bought them after she told them she's my mom is the ultimate influencer i'm not kidding she is she's such an evangelist like when she gets on something she does not shut up about it and she's big superlatives best ever can't we make fun of my mom for that too yeah i'm like okay but she sells people on it and so now her pickleball group chat is the gooder girls it's so cute my everyday accessory is my apple watch i literally wear it every day and shut up that's a dumb one i know i mean garmin you can convince me garmin literally all the way i just like having a wearable of some whatever yeah no i didn't understand it until i had one like i was like i'll just look at my phone yeah i i was like i'm gonna buy a pair of them and i'm like i'm gonna buy a pair of them so anti apple watch for a long time kill but always talk about in college like when the apple watch i said that's so stupid you don't need that and then when i worked at top golf um i saw all the other raiders texting on their apple watch and i immediately bought an apple watch so i could text caleb on my shifts i was like i can't go six hours without talking to him that's hilarious yeah and never gone back never gone back the piece of clothing getting me the most compliments do you have one for this no no one's complimented me recently yeah you're just so ugly i'm just um you have this dress version i feel like that gives you a lot of compliments yeah i used that one last time i love it it's the quince high neck cashmere cotton cashmere high neck tank and yeah this color is the brown color every time i wear this it's such a good color and it's such a flattering shirt it is so flat and it's dressy but also can be worn casual i mean you can layer it i want them to come up with different colors because i don't really like the other colors they have they have a pretty blue but it keeps selling out before i get it i know i that's the only other color i want i don't want the cream i mean that's nice i just have a lot of cream love that shirt a million amazing shirt it's so stretchy a million amazing million amazing times a million amazing oh this one i have a really weird answer for okay this category is if i could only wear one thing this season there's not a lot of things i want to wear i honestly don't want to wear clothes but of course but we must pasties wow don't they look like these days no these are called cakes so okay my thing is i don't want to wear them i don't want to wear them i've always thought you were gonna put it on let me just no i can't you went for your shirt i was like i had to cover my belly um okay so one small problem okay i don't know where the other one is and you want to know why why i took it off in the car oh yeah it's one state it's got to be in there you have some become detailed they're like what is this no um but these things okay i actually have to talk about it for yeah i'm i gotta i gotta i gotta explain teach so this is not pasties don't confuse it not the same product not even close it's not sticky not sticky let me see that it's been washed don't worry oh you wash it i mean yeah it just stays so let me explain they have a circular one they have this triangle one but they have they have a sticky option and then they have a suction option oh um this thing is amazing because the sticky one i feel like comes off with sweat yeah it does it comes off sometimes like if you're not sweaty like either it's falling off or you can't get it off right this i don't know the science behind it it's actually genius i would say wear it more with a little bit more fitted things but i've worn it with loose things too and they still stay on i think it's about finding the right fit oh but um they like you they have instructions i don't do i demonstrate um you basically just like lay it flat on your skin and then you're the heat from your skin just sticks it right on it like suctions on wow doesn't hurt to take off it's really it's not gonna get messed up because it's not like getting less sticky yeah and it's great for the summertime wow i actually like the triangle shade better than a circle because i remember getting it looks like you have huge areolas this blends so well because it's so thin on the edges right okay this is a very natural option i'll never forget when those like the petals are like you know and there's just the one that was just supposed to cover the nip and i've had those literally i'm like it just magnified it mega areola what a huge circle so thick right there i was like get rid of that this they saw an issue and then they fixed it i'm not even kidding it's really really smart and these are only 33 and i feel like that's a great really last well the sticky boobs that you get at target they're like 25 and they're basically you can use them twice and then yeah no these are really good ah i have to get some of those really believe in those if i could only wear one thing this season i went athletic route i'm obsessed with my lululemon shake it out shorts i'm obsessed out i got them in two colors they're the high rise or medium mid-rise and i just love the length again i'm tall five eight this is a two and a half inch in team i was very scared but they're longer in the back biker shorts underneath those though only when i'm doing um things or i'm laying on the ground okay because does that defeat the purpose because then you can just wear biker shorts no because i wear i wear these like running and i wear them out and about and i wear them on weight days but if i'm laying down they're just loose and flowy so they fall down to your hips underwear yeah they do but listen i have a lump where i don't want people to see is that what it is yeah i'm embarrassed i need to get it removed no no one needs to see my lump okay oh my gosh i didn't know that was the reason i did not mean to press it's called a lipoma okay if everyone needs to talk about it it's between my legs dang it and when i lay down you can see it and so i'm like oh my gosh i'm like oh my gosh i just cover you know when i'm doing some stuff that's laying down and like if i'm laying down my butt cheeks come out so i just you know a little modesty i don't see that color a lot yeah it's new i got the matching shirt to go with it i thought i was gonna wear for the always here event and then i was like it's not red it's pink so i didn't wear them but um i love it i love it so much i love the shorts i'm gonna buy my more colors i have to shake it out is that a new style for them uh-huh and i just love them they're flowy they're flouncy and they're the best shorts ever i never wear shorts like that i didn't either i was just always been in biker shorts and i was like i just don't actually want to wear biker shorts all the time no i don't either i just felt like it was my only option for a while i know i mean now it's not my time but eventually okay here's where i can yap let's drink girl i like beauty and fashion food food let's talk tell me more um no actually this one's kind of fun i feel like my go-to coffee order usually i'm making coffee at home i would say 99.9 percent of the time yeah and i prefer it that way right but when we did our little staycation close to like in phoenix we decided to go to la la land because they have two locations i've had it before in la but i think i like x like i think i knew that la la land was cool when i went to la but i didn't know why it was cool so i just got a vanilla latte okay why is it cool um i think they have really unique drinks oh and they're famous for one of their famous drinks is the banana cloud latte okay which is what i got and it was so yummy i feel like it was i thought it was gonna be one of these like overhyped places it literally tasted like real banana like i feel like they probably make it with real banana um it wasn't too sweet it was delightful really it comes in a really cool cup i actually saved my cup and washed it out and now i use it and make my own coffee oh that's fun that's fun like i want to feel like i'm there every day um their cups are really cool and they're it was just a fun atmosphere it was packed it's yellow it's happy i was gonna ask was it still really crowded yeah there was some uh hoopla happening there was some hoopla hoopla from like teen girls or what no like um angry soccer moms lord help me if that ever becomes me i never want to become an angry you would never you would never it was like this lady's like we really have somewhere to be and like i'm like everyone's everywhere we're all busy lady like i i don't know like because we had what you ordered on the app because we knew it was gonna be really busy yeah smart and then she was like leaning in the window and she was like we ordered 40 minutes ago and she's like starting to just go off and i'm getting sweaty and stressed out and then she's like can we just have that one like she's pointing to a specific drink she's like that's that can i have that one she's like that's somebody else's yeah what and she's like no but we we need to go we're like man i honestly though 40 minutes away for a coffee is absurd no like that's what the wait time like that's what oh they told you on the app it's like she had ordered 40 minutes ago but it was like to pick up then oh so i was like you're kind of just pulling this one oh my god yeah you can't steal coffee they tried to i mean they were disorganized sure but it was it was hoopla there was a ton of people there and we're like ma'am you're ma'am sit down we're all waiting my go-to coffee order i honestly anything spice like when we were in tahoe immediately got the pumpkin spice latte if that's on the menu i don't care what season it is i'm getting that yeah especially because it's cold so cold i love a pumpkin spice i usually get things half sweet yeah because i do think these coffee they go cray cray i do like the flavor of coffee personally yes so you know just a little seasoning a little pumpkin a little my take excuse me i'm sorry is that i only want it to be hot i don't want pumpkin spice cold no i never want pumpkin spice cold yeah that's weird no it's weird unless it's the pumpkin so good is that what they're called yeah yeah the dots oh they have a cinnamon sugar pretzel that just lit me up when i put that in my mouth wasn't that good that was the cinnamon sugar oh every pretzel is coated so perfectly with cinnamon i just want it took me back to the toasty make as a kid oh yes yeah do those have msg yeah they do okay yeah the original one does that's why you like them so much i mean yeah it's why i don't buy them often oh it's just the original one i think at least the original one definitely has msg do all of them have msg don't tell her if they do actually i will continue to buy this the honey mustard ones are really good too they're also in that variety those are zingy so zingy they make cj's breast mail so bad it says the original and the southwest ones have msg okay so just those two yeah good cinnamon sugar light me up light me up and you know what what's a little msg right pretzels um the sweet treat i'm currently obsessed with have you had those sweet lorenz cookies i'm gonna be honest they don't look good i know they don't i i i actually so agree with that yeah they don't look like they bake right ever right they just look so weird they're actually so tasty interesting they're dairy-free and gluten-free so what are they made with like lard a lot of sugar what is it i don't know it's lard dairy-free certainly it's just chemicals i'm just making that up i know they're they're supposed to be healthier right i don't know i mean they're they are so delicious though i really stand on i stand by that they sell them at walmart now too yeah i saw that they're really okay well that's good to know i'll make some for you yeah i probably won't buy them to try them but if you make them at least it's weird because you're looking at it you're like that is an unappealing cookie they taste really bad i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know really yummy well that's good that's good have you seen that viral dessert where you just put them over frozen fruit and you bake them and the frozen fruits underneath and you put the cookie dough balls no that sounds delicious yeah and you can have like a scoop of ice cream it's specifically their cookie dough i'm pretty i've seen a lot of people do it with their cookie dough yeah that sounds yeah you should try that i feel like you'd like that that dessert my sweet treat you know what i'm changing the one i wrote down because that's boring the one that i've always been obsessed with honolulu cookies yeah give me a honolulu cookie you do love i do love them them little shortbreads you kind of got me on those because again it's a cookie that you look at you're like that looks dry and then you eat it you're like that's the most incredible shortbread i've ever put in my mouth but they're very very flavorful i love it and i love the white chocolate macadamia coconut one it's so unbelievable and the little minis do they i think they sell them at costco that's why i gotta shout them out because it's just unbelievably good every time i go to hollywood honolulu not that often i'm getting some and in vegas they have a couple stores do they and i would get boxes every time i went to vegas okay just for the cookies i'm like in the spa in this ball of course the thing i buy every single costco trip not me bringing up costco so much when i was there like it doesn't it doesn't save you money it doesn't but it's fun to shop at of course okay i always buy those rice packets from the pre-made ones yeah it's good rice microplastics for sure for sure good rice good jasmine sticky rice good i and i get the white rice yeah they have brown if that's if that's your that's your prerogative right of course it's not my prerogative i don't know the bodybuilders eat the white rice so i'm gonna go with the white yeah see that's why i do it exactly the bodybuilders do it i'm telling you it saves so much time i cooking rice is just such a hassle and this rice is really delicious every time i serve it to people i feel very like yeah i don't make rice i just gotta do this but then they're like this rice is amazing i'm like yeah yeah it's actually it is really good it's but i don't know if it's like authentically sticky rice well also i'll share mine that is good i got my rotisserie chicken i'm not leaving without a rotisserie chicken get that sam's club rotisserie chicken up in my cart is the sam's club one good it's five dollars yeah i love it it's really good it doesn't taste like hot dogs i can't do it again i know you had that one bad one and i gotta tell you i haven't had a rotisserie chicken in four years no this rotisserie chicken at sam's is really flavorful okay tastes like a chicken tastes like a chicken when it's hot it's the easiest time to pull it you pull at the beginning of the week throw it on your salads throw it on crackers throw it in so bad when you open it up when you from the fridge absolutely every time it smells like farts yeah it freaks me yeah me too but i still eat it yeah but it's also five bucks i'm like if i get two or three meals out of that chicken it was worth the five dollars you know it's a little freaky that's five dollars but i need to get back on the rotisserie chicken game and maybe i just need to switch to sam's just for the chickens i'll just buy you one thank you you're welcome bring me a chicken um the traders i the okay this is the next category is the trader joe's item i refuse to shut up about the lote corn chip dippers i put that on my chip so good unbelievable like i really like delivering groceries so i don't want to go into a store i will go into the store for these chips yeah yeah yeah yeah good with a dip they have a really good guacamole i have it on here too it's the chunky greek yogurt guacamole it's so good with the chip with the chip every time i go to trade shows they get that are spicy extremely but they are so flavorful so the best chip of all time they are so if they ever get rid of those i will go clean them out yes that's the one thing i will doomsday i will put that in my bunker what's in your bunker i don't think they're shelf stable but not they don't need to be because they're in a bag really quick i don't think chips like that aren't shelf stable they'll last a nuclear bomb they will last my current hyper fixation food is also from trader joe's yeah it's a scandinavian swimmers scandinavian that's our body training treat right now all their candy is made every time you go potty as well i'm like you get a treat i get a treat all their candies and stuff are made without food dyes it's all natural food so i'm trying to get all my candy just from there and it's unbelievable wait does he still get a treat every time he goes the potty yeah that's motivating us see that that we had to change that because then we were just tinkling getting to get candy all day i know you know i was like he hasn't clothed that yet so he's still only going when he wants to go we found a hacker yes um hyper fixation food is literally just grilling we once again we have grilled literally every single night perfect and specifically salmon i had the hugest piece of salmon last night that looks good matt goes matt goes there was a massive piece i couldn't find i was like he said i couldn't find it did he's like you ate that whole piece of yeah it was yeah i saw it it was a big piece of the whole thing i went kind of crazy that's almost like a ten dollar if you go to aldi that piece was almost like the whole pack of that you get i ate that whole thing good you should i was my omega you need the omega-3s through the roof you said it's for baby's brain baby's brain needed it um salmon's so good and the best way i'll just say it right now because this it makes it so easy just a little lemon juice fresh lemon juice salt get good salt i love sea salt that should actually be one of my favorites yeah all the time sea salt have i said that before you said it last time their garlic sea salt is so good and then we top it with some sweet thai chili sauce it's so good that's awesome the drink getting me through the day this is hilarious you're not a drink girly listen to this concoction i've been brewing the last four days cleans and bleeds you're welcome for this okay you ready for my mega wellness i told you it's hot girl summer what are you for me i'm getting hot no no this is a okay i get this big glass jug that you're supposed to put breast milk in and it has a handle and like a it's big it's for your fridge i put a lot of ice in it and a shaker ball and then i fill it to the brim with water and i put a shaker ball in a glass that feels bougie okay i'm putting in one scoop of my sour watermelon clear protein best okay there we go that's the base i'm going in with one scoop of my pink starburst creatine and glutamate okay okay a little sweet sweet then i'm going in with a half scoop of the strawberry watermelon electrolytes all from cleans and bleeds let me tell you that drink is pink that drink is sweet and that drink is making me glow from the inside out wow it's giving me great you feel fancy yeah yeah i'm like surely this can't be good for me but it's supposed to be no i feel like that's all good yeah thanks i have to tell this story because that's reminding me of the same vibes as this lady i was that she was like this is like i've just been eating really clean nothing she's like i don't eat wow all day and like literally honesty i guess don't do that guys don't do that guys that's bad um this is the drink getting me through the day i would say i really love the new ollie pop raspberry sherbert drink you should try one before you leave yeah i'm doing it i have tried i'm doing an ad for them fun ones for this i do too okay a household item that changed my life it's my dyson cordless vacuum and you're it doesn't have to be a dyson but you need a cordless vacuum i'm sorry if you're moving a cord from outlet to outlet to outlet to outlet i will never ever in my life vacuum my house i just won't and i didn't i didn't actually have good vacuums i didn't either it was my 25th birthday present and it's carried me through i have the shark cordless one it's life-changing it is it's so nice it's just amazing i just kind of would kick it around i literally never vacuumed before that and i was 25 so don't tell my mom yeah yeah i was probably stuck um this one is brand new but i just used it i used it last night and i used this morning and i'm using it tonight i'm gonna use it all day tomorrow the ninja crispy i want that air fryer abby it was good yeah okay give me like a full honest review later because i've been seeing ads and i was like is this a good appliance no it is good it's non-toxic glass yes so easy to clean which i feel like it's a very common the biggest gripe with an air fryer an air fryer yeah it's so small yeah but has a like 10x the capacity of my other air fryer my other air fryer was huge yeah and i could only get like eight chicken nuggets on here they have a big you can even cook a chicken in it what yes their biggest size it's crazy it works so fast i feel like before i would have to preheat mine they do say you can preheat it but i didn't need to they have very easy settings i it's dishwasher safe yeah they have a lid so you can store it in the container in your fridge after you make it brilliant they really thought of everything that's brilliant okay i really want i'm putting that on my wish list it's really fun okay mine is i got these ikea baskets from my pantry organization i wish i could pronounce it i'm not gonna i'm not gonna say no we can't we can't pronounce it i don't speak swedish um i don't speak the scandinavian language um but it's amazing and they're really all their bins are very affordable this one is 4.99 it's like the perfect size for a pantry sliding it in inserts um i think it begins with a d hannah and i wish yeah it's 4.99 a basket i bought 17 of them for like less than a hundred dollars for my whole pantry i felt like that was a really good price point for organizing and yeah making it really functional wow yeah their bins are great i used to when we had our business our clothing business all of our bins came from ikea they're the best price great plastic bins i never think about going to ikea i just i mean storage i need to organize my life it's really good for storage organization help me yeah i'll put it up i'll link them because i can't say them but it is a great bin there what did you say for the thing making my house feel less chaotic that was it my ikea basket oh duh my house is chaotic wait what did you well how did i get to that the household item that changed my life did you didn't i did the cordless vacuum oh so you're ahead shoot i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry no no no no no that's the thing making my house feel less chaotic are my ikea baskets for my pantry i mine is not a really good answer for this but i just wanted a reason to talk about my pura because i that makes you feel less chaotic no you're like the no my house is chaos so so at least make it smell good yeah i love a good smell thing i love a good smell thing and i feel like i need to do better with my clean fragrances so i got my pura back out and my gripe with the pura i gotta be honest about it what you go the fragrances run out so fast really so like you and they're expensive and they're expensive how much is a free fill uh i don't know perfect 30 i'm scared i'm on pins and needles don't they have it where you can make it it looks like they're 15 bucks each okay see that's that's that's a lot for a little thing and they don't last shoot but don't do can't you do like a low setting and then like a high setting yeah you can but i have a big space to fill it i do need to put it on a high setting i gotta smell it i got you so it's a i'm just telling you it's an investment it's a it's a thing that is just it's just how it is i feel like the the ones that last forever are also toxic so of course that's how it goes and here's the trade-off you're right you know what i took that i took that trade-off for a while and now i'm back to doing the clean ones and it's really fun they smell amazing yeah they have some really good fragrances yeah really good yeah like high-end smelling stuff which i'm like they have so many amazing collaborations and they really they make it easy to use it does use an app which usually is a gripe of mine i don't want everything to connect to an app so annoying but the app is actually really easy to use well that's good yeah i feel like my house doesn't have a scent like i feel like my house doesn't smell good or bad i keep it clean and i vacuum and everything's out so it doesn't smell bad but when we're gone for a trip and i come back i walk in i'm like my house just smells like a house like it doesn't have a smell because everything i use is non-scented yeah and i get a little sad about that so i really do want and i'm not gonna do i'm not gonna do the air yeah things that go into the air the essential oils i'm not doing that i don't think those usually smell good they don't and i think some of them do but then also people are like they're toxic for dogs and kids i'm like i'm not gonna what do you mean i have dogs and kids so what do you mean i can't breathe it in the pura is really the option and it's expensive but it really is nice okay well good to know glad you love it it's really amazing my favorite little luxury at home yeah it's my cozier sheets let me tell you something i've been a skeptic i'm like certainly who cares it's a sheet what difference can it make i okay the whole time we've been married we've had target sheets never thought anything about them i get in my bed every night i lay in those cozier sheets and i am like shoot these are really good sheets and i am just so yeah pleased to say that it's it is a luxury that i love i know you spend so much time in bed i know they're so comfortable my luxury is also related to the bed what is it it is chili chili pad i knew it i knew it's gonna be a chili pad i know don't you hate it when the expensive things are actually worth it i know i know i i and i say i think expensive sounds it's a luxury it's a luxury we don't do we need a chili pad no we don't need a chili pad has it made my life better yeah it has i literally matt and i talk about it every single night like i'm so excited just it's like what temperature are you setting your side at and it's just like it's a conversation it's so nice and it's it improves my quality of sleep i mean our friends dave and val there you go they just never shut up about their chili pad and here's the anyone that has a chili pad doesn't shut up about their chili pad it's because it changes you well i mean at least it works i feel like it's sad and good to know that your money was well spent yeah you know it's like a bummer because now i want to buy one and they're expensive but good to know that at least it'd be worth your purchase i think you'd be i think you'd does and they have a little pocket they're shorter in the front longer in the back the hood i mean they're every time cj wears i'm like oh he's so so cute this one and then the the plaid one don't dry it don't dry it because it is 100 cotton like don't try it more than once they do shrink a little bit the first time i watch yeah i don't i just hang dry it now yeah um which is fine it's a towel so kids are like i love i think it's important to have a good stroller i have to do some negotiations to get them in a stroller whereas the wagon they're more likely to get in they can get in not freely the main character is named augie which is they think is really fun too but he has one eye in the book and it's like a little doodle and the kids really understand i'm like why are the kids making fun of him they're like because he's different and then we're like is that any reason to make fun of like the conversation like clicks in their mind about like you being a friend to everybody and what to do if you see someone bullying someone or like not being nice and it like the conversation really really makes sense with them it's not too long because i feel like as a parent sometimes the books are so long like who wrote this and it's a beautiful book too and i think it's a great it's a great read cute i got it for my kids yeah i want you to send a link to that i don't know that one i should um we the jesus storybook bible it's the best little kids bible it's so cute cj we're about to finish it with cj so we'll start it over again but every i mean the illustrations are beautiful he loves basic like the most basic rib tank you could possibly picture they're three bucks and i've had them for since september i mean since last summer and they're still in good quality i just hang dry them gotta have them i know three bucks you can't and if it's bad you can't lose you could use it as a dish rag if you don't like it you know what i mean three bucks is crazy crazy honestly i didn't have now i know too okay senior year of high school what do we think i would say don't check out it's so hard not to check out but your senior year of high school is really fun oh yeah do everything do everything like participate in all the cheesy things even if it feels weird or goofy like i don't know just soak in the the high school experience because i feel like the high school experience really is just your senior year you know you got prom and the dances and they do a special like the lock-in and different special things for advice the skip day you know it's just really fun to participate um and i think it could be really easy to be like oh i'm over these people i'm over school i'm over this because that is like a real feeling but yeah just soak it in yeah i think that's really good advice because a lot of there's a lot of options now to do online or to only go for like a couple hours a day now i did take off last period my senior year and i don't regret that but like yeah i did too i think that yeah i think that's a good advice i think that's a good advice yeah i always did everything because i just was um cheesy like that yeah and i was shamelessly cheesy and i honestly think that it made high school really fun it makes it so much more fun like if you're just a goober and you just really don't care because it's really just it's so so not serious like it did like it i can't tell you how not serious high school is it's not serious not serious yeah it's really not like and so just have fun like i know that seems like easier said than done but like the way to do it is like you're saying just commit do everything and get to it yeah and it's like yeah maybe you don't like it that's the time to find out what you like and what you don't like and it's the time to just like i don't know be nice to everybody be nice to everybody go to all the sporting events go to all the things just go to all the things i remember feeling really stressed out at times like before i was on palm going to sporting events was stressful for me because all my friends were either playing in sports yeah in the marching band or on the dance team and i was like oh my gosh who are you gonna sit with who am i gonna sit with yeah and then i just went and i found people to sit with and it was scary and then i was like oh i had so much fun yeah and you get to support your friends yes and it's like the last time you're doing everything like your sports and activities and so it's just good to be i don't know a cheerleader for your that's really good advice hi abby abby and addy my name is angelina and i called in a few months back now asking your advice on whether i should quit my corporate job or stay at home and be a full-time stay-at-home mom and i actually decided to take the leap and quit my job so thank you for that extra push of encouragement that i needed to make such a big life decision but my question is now that i will be home full-time with my two little boys what recommend recommendations do you have for breaking up your day um you know making sure it doesn't stay monotonous or also helping to foster a good learning environment for them to prepare them for preschool or event like kindergarten thank you oh my god that really stressed me out thinking that you made a really big life decision and we were responsible for part of that um but i'm so glad you're yeah me too it's good to hear from you again yes thanks for the update that you're able to be home with your kids yeah it really is you're all gonna love that thing yeah you'll never regret that totally um so my advice for this i have a lot of opinions on this because i feel like that was something i had to learn yeah and get into a group of people and so i think that's one of the things thing is like i got to get out the door pretty quickly in the morning or else i see i think that we go downhill fast sure like the messes are created like chaos is happening and so we go to the gym my kids come with us i love a gym that has good child care and that my kids look forward to going to and can see their friends too because it's important for them to socialize as well and i think that's one of the things that i'm trying to do is i think that's one of the things then we do a fun activity then we come back home and do rest and quiet time and then they have scheduled time where i'm able to work and then they do learning activities with my mom fun yeah it's really good i think trying to break it up with like out of the out of the house time of the day and in the house time of the day and my in the house time of the day includes nap time so it's like nap time and then dinner time usually yeah but i do like i actually enjoy getting out of the door a little bit having a little bit of a slower morning um so i'm not like waking up and rushing out i like having like a slower breakfast i think too i'm really clear in the morning and so i like waking up and like having a few hours like an hour before well what time having like two hours before we leave the house of just like i'll play with cj i'll make a slow breakfast we'll have breakfast together like it's a little bit more slow um and then we'll go out we'll go to the gym and then an activity or like whatever that will be like our out of the house time and then when we come back it's nap which usually i'm working in the afternoons too um so either we have like a babysitter there or my mom is there when she's in town or he's sleeping they take long naps or i'm there um and then it's usually around when he wakes up his dinner time so i feel like if you can schedule it in chunks he takes like a three hour nap he also goes down so late he goes down at 2 30 that's so yeah so we have most of our day and then he usually naps until dinner and then we'll have dinner and then we'll have like some evening family time and he still goes to bed early it's a really a wonder it really is a wonder actually today he went down for his nap around like one no he went down two but i before that like when he was younger i used to go to the gym in the afternoons so i would have like morning time play at the house um maybe we'd go to the grocery store or go out somewhere and then we would go home have an afternoon nap and then we would go to the gym in the afternoon and that helped break up my day too i just feel like finding something that you know that you want to do every day that's kind of like hey this is our goal post non-negotiable and then just finding where you need to put that marker my recommendation for you too is to find other moms that stay home because it can be really lonely even though you like love your kids and you really want to spend all the time in the world with them um it can be isolating and it can happen really suddenly too i feel like and so just having routine where it's like once a week we go on a walk with our kids um that community just makes i mean it's it's good for so many reasons yeah but for your mental health and also for your kids to socialize and also just like to ask advice like just having other moms that are also home during that time of day is really i think dressing business cash oh i got mine that's 12 i got mine that i literally wore so much like people talked about it infinity scarves infinity scarves are so bad i had these sperrys i'm sorry sperrys i know they're kind of making a comeback i thank you sperrys i had these sperry kills still has his sperrys they're horrific but i will say aren't the boat shoes he has the like loafer no kelp is the boat shoe and i'm like why are you even holding on to those things how do they smell oh they just exactly how they look i bought these i thought they were the coolest thing because i liked things that were you know unique and different they were a high-rise sperry that had fold over yeah and it was my friend tan and it was plaid fabric yes and i wore those things i thought they were so cool and um yeah i didn't like the flatness they're not cute they look like peter pan shoes not cute yeah yeah and i had some i didn't like them then personally yeah well because they're not cute i know you know it's something i still can't get behind it's a birkenstock furry uggs oh i like birkenstock i know a lot of people do i'm really in the minority but i've just never liked them well also i mostly like them because they're very supportive shoe yeah i i can't wear regular flip-flops yeah like my jelly crocs were a stretch but those are really supportive um yeah a lot of shoe trends so many yeah i feel like we've come a long way with shoes like there's just many more options i'm having so many flashbacks i remember when i really wanted nike dry fit shorts those were like so cool those like certain style oh this the tempos those are coming back i yeah i think that they're fine but i got dress coded for mine oh you're too short they they said that they were too short and i was like this feels like like i am like five foot tall it feels like you're picking on me because i'm pretty sure everybody in this school is wearing nike the same shorts exactly and they weren't that short and would get some things that were pretty cool but i was didn't make me cool i just thought i was dressing cool skinny jeans they can stay in the past oh my gosh yes you were just talking about that they are so unflattering low-rise skinny jeans too at that with the holes in the knees the butt crack was always out why was i okay my thong just out like i was just okay with it didn't happen because i just said no but so they stayed right i always had that back gap and it was just horrible there's so many things i can say what are we gonna think about what we're wearing now i already know i know that barrel jeans are gonna be so bad and honestly probably all the really but here's the thing denim if it fits your body type it's not trendy okay you know what i mean like the barrel jeans look really cute on you if i were to buy barrel jeans then you'll be like okay trans girl like they don't look good on my body but if a denim is trendy at the time of the moment but it fits your body type like if you're right now you're like skinny jeans look amazing on me then it's not then that's what looks amazing on you you should wear them i always see you in myself in my cabs when i wear skinny jeans i I haven't tried a pair on in so long. I don't even know. I don't own them anymore.
