Speaker 2How does religion and being spiritual play? Hand in hand. The book of James, chapter 1, verses 25-26.
Speaker 3Let's go. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty and continueth therein, he, being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work.
Speaker 2Hold on. Do you know that in preschool you study to forget? In primary school, you study to forget. In JHS, you study to forget. When you get to SS and you start to study to forget, you will pay in life. As for university, chew, pour, pass, and forget, you will pay. Everybody will now know your first class was you. There are lots of people. They are forgetful hearers. How do we know that you are forgotten? When you can't do the work. How do you know a growing church? A church that has doers of the work. Not the word, the work. The work. There are doers of the word. And doers of the work. They are not the same thing. You can check me out. James chapter 1. You can start reading from verse 23. Those who are doers of the word.
Speaker 3For if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like.
Speaker 2Hold on. If you are a hearer and not a doer. That is different from a doer of the work. Listen. When you hear the word and you are doing it. Have you realized that there are some people. When you talk to them right now, they will do it. But when you leave them, they forget it. So they can't do their work. But he was a doer of the word. Have you ever been taught division or mathematics? And while the teacher was teaching, you were able to solve a quick problem. Now when you went home. How many of you have been there before? By 5 a.m. In devotion, you are there. Oh! Evangelism, you are there. Oh! Church, you are there. After three months, their work will be staring at you. You will realize that 5 a.m. You are losing the fire. Read. Let's go. Let me just do this quickly.

He is a doer of the word. Like somebody would, some of you, like you will have a dream. That when you had a dream, you realize that Jesus was on the cloud of glory and appearing in power.
