Today I'm going to be pulling back the curtain on our business and sharing with you exactly what I am focusing on in 2026 when it comes to content. But welcome back to the Network Marketing Show guys and welcome to 2026 our first episode of the year. It's a solo one today because I'm jumping on here quickly to just talk about all things content and then from next week we are back in the podcast studio, you'll have to listen to Tom then as well. And I thought as always I would start off with a little bit of a life update. There's so many things that have been happening and I'm going to save them for when I am sitting down and chatting with Tom. They were always so funny to dive into. We've had so many epic things happening recently but I just want to say oh my gosh we were not planning to take any time off over the Christmas and New Year break. And all we really had planned for was obviously Christmas, New Year's Day, maybe Boxing Day because Tom watches the cricket all day. But then I was having a conversation with somebody and this is actually a really great lesson in itself but I was having a conversation with somebody and she said to me are you seriously not going to take time off over Christmas? It's like you absolutely should be taking more time off and I was like yeah you know what maybe I will, I did not like it, I'm just going to be so real with you guys, I did not enjoy it at all and I remember sitting on the couch the other day and I said to Tom I have not enjoyed this time off. I am itching to get back into routine, back into some structure but even more so just back into coaching our clients, I had this like itching feet about it, I was so dying to get back into our coaching calls and it's so interesting because I had never planned to take almost two weeks off in my business and I'm not saying that I regret it because we had some really epic time off, we got our boats, we've been out on the boat a lot, I'll talk about that next week with Tom and it was so fun but I actually love working, I never feel burnt out, I never really feel like I need time off, of course I honour my body and my energy levels and if I feel unwell or I need a day off I will absolutely honour that and take that time off but I did not need two weeks, it's just dying to get back. So I'm really excited to be back here, sharing the podcast with you all, we have a brand new masterclass coming up in January called "Ditch the Chase" so if you would love to learn how to actually attract and convert people in 2026 through attraction marketing so no chasing, no cringy messages, no starting conversations and waiting for somebody reply to you hopefully this is the masterclass that you need to be on, it's free, there's no replay so make sure you click the link below in the description, come and join us and it's going to be fricking epic, we also have our next mastermind intake starting on January 12th so I am really excited for that, it's actually a sold out intake, our next one is now in February so if you are wanting to work with us in 2026, honestly don't wait, click the link below, it's another link and apply to work with us because our next intake will be February 2nd and then after that we have to look at numbers and see when we can even fit in another intake so if you've been thinking about it do not wait, click that link, apply and I will be in touch with you directly. Okay so I'm going to go through two things today, the first one is my biggest content lessons of 2025 and the second one is actually what I will be focusing on into 2026 so proud of myself for actually getting that right, normally I say the wrong year for like the first three months of the year but I'll be in that later, so let's get into my biggest content lessons, I've been spending some time really reflecting, reviewing, I actually created a Trello board for 2026 and in there I have a section for content ideas, series that I want to do podcast episodes but I also have a section in there where I'm going to start saving links to all of the content that has been performing really well. Now I do this with my Instagram stories, I screenshot things, save them, I put them into an album on my phone whenever something performs really well so that I can repurpose it but obviously use that as inspiration in the future as well. So I'm actually going to start saving all of my content on Trello that performs really well, gets more likes and usual, more follows, more saves, more engagement, whatever it is that makes me think that was a really great post or it generated more inquiries than normal. I'm going to save it, I'm going to focus more on repurposing this year. So that's definitely going to make my reflection and reviews at the end of this year a lot easier because I had to spend a good few hours actually just scrolling, looking through things, saving it, reflecting, doing all the things but I'm really glad I did because it's allowing me to come into this new year with a more direct approach and a more direct focus of exactly what I need to focus on and I mapped it out there a day, I'm going bigger and better than ever before, I'm really excited but I'm more excited because I actually looked at what worked best for me in 2025 and that's what I'm focusing on, whereas for me, 2025 really, oh my god, how many times do I say 2025? It was a really big year of trial and error focusing on authority, getting myself out there, just trying a bunch of different things and finding what felt right for me, what landed the most, where I felt the most creative. So this year's a little bit different because I know exactly what I need to do and focus on within my business to keep it simple but obviously to get the best possible results as well. Now the first thing that I am focusing a lot more on but more so for this section my biggest content lesson is that shareable content was my biggest audience growth generator this year. Now, especially the last six months of the year, I was really considering what is the type of content that my ideal audience would want to share. What would they actually want to share to their stories? Because think about it for a second. We all share content to our Instagram stories or to a friend or to your partner. We all do it. But have you ever actually considered why you share it? It's because you agree, you relate to it, maybe it's the same humor as yours. Maybe you're like, oh my gosh, I agree, I need everyone to see this. And so I focused really heavily on that and there was some post that I did that was shareable that ended up generating up to 200, 300 new followers just from a simple infographic. That come on, took me like three, four minutes to do, like quickly put it on Canva, download it, upload it to Instagram, boom, bam, done, right? It was so easy. I also trialled when it comes to shareable, doing a bunch of graphics that I had been saving over time and I loved that I again, you, my ideal audience would love. And some of those posts were getting like two, three thousand likes and tons of shares and follows from it. So that was a massive tick for me of, okay, coming into the new year, I'm going to make sure that if I'm going back to posting three times a day, which I'll talk more about later, at least one of them is shareable content because that grew my audience the most. And I find this is the same for a lot of our clients as well, especially when it comes to things around wellness and even more so like motherhood, motherhood content and focusing on making shareable motherhood content really pops off online. So if I was a mama, I would definitely be doing that into 2026. So that's the first one shareable content was my biggest audience growth generator. The second thing here, so when I first started posting three times a day, now just to give you some context, if you're a bit newer to my world, in 2024, I think it was 24, yeah. I posted three times a day, every day for 12 months, I did this for a bunch of reasons. Firstly, I wanted to get myself out there as quickly and as fast as possible. I wanted to build authority a lot faster. And thirdly, I just wanted to challenge and test myself before that I was maybe posting once a day, maybe sometimes only four, five times a week, I wasn't very consistent in it. I was much more heavy on my Instagram stories. So I wanted to really just test myself and that was actually the thing that grew my account the fastest. So before that and after that, my account has grown much slower compared to when I posted three times a day. So I'm actually going to get back to that in 2026, which I'll tell you that in a minute when I share the things I'm focusing on. But when I did those three posts a day, I put a call to action in every single one of them. Whether it was a call to action to be like PS, if you're interested in achieving XYZ in 2024, I can show you how in our network marketing school, comment the word network marketing below to see how I can help you or it was a share your thoughts below. Do you agree? What's your opinion on this really just engaging people in my content? I had it on every single post for the entirety of 2024. And now for some reason in 2025, I got a little bit away from this and I only really started putting call to actions on really valuable content. So if I was talking about webinars or content or sales, something that I knew people would get a lot of value from, then I would put a call to action talking about how we can help you and help you get results inside of our mastermind. And because of that, I noticed that my inquiries direct from content really slowed down, but they went up on my Instagram stories much, much higher in 2025 because I started making sure I was selling every day and following the structure that I taught inside of cashflow stories. So if you took part in that, if you haven't, check out my Instagram bio, you'll find the link in there. So I really found that in the last like two, three months of the year, I started putting a call to action back on every single post. If you go check out my content, you'll see the exact call to action I've been using and I haven't been changing it. I have actually copied and pasted this exact call to action because it was working. I was getting inquiries, of course, you'll see on my content, it's not on every post, but either way, whether or not I get a comment or not, it is exposure. And that's what a lot of people miss when it comes to utilizing call to actions and direct selling is whether or not you actually see a result from it. You are going to expose people to what it is that you do, the result to help people with. And the fact that you're open for business, you're exposing people to that whether or not they comment. Now, of course, if you're using the same call to action for weeks and you're not getting any comments, then something needs to change, but I definitely get comments from this specific call to action. So I've kept using it. Now I also found that it didn't really matter whether I did a sure call to action or a long call to action. I was still getting results. But through my research recently, I found that my longer call to actions did really well for new followers, because I got to talk a bit more about like, Hey, I'm Rachel. This is what I help people with in network marketing. Here's how I do it. If you're interested, comment mastermind below. So it worked for people who didn't really know much about me or my work yet, but then for people who have been around for a while, a short and direct call to action did so well. Just being straight up like, Hey, if this is the result that you want over the next six months and you're in network marketing, comment the word mastermind. Let's see how I can help you. So either way, they both did fine, but I just found that slowing down on call to actions didn't serve me at all directly from my content. Now, of course, I have a lot of people watching my stories. Now I've really focused on my strategy there and I gave that all the way in cash flow stories. So my inquiries from there really balanced that out anyway, but I'm like moving into this new year, what could happen if I really honed in on those call to actions in every post and getting people to engage more, you know? People do something when you tell them to do it, right? It's like a child. You say, put your shoes on, do this, do that, and then hopefully I'll do it. So the same thing goes to content. You need to tell people to engage. You need to tell them to comment below, to share this word, to share their thoughts on this. Do they agree? Do they not agree? Is there something they struggle with or they're working on, you know, just really bring people into that. So that's been massive for me and moving forward, I'll obviously be doing more call to actions within all of my content. But the thing I do want to say, it's important that you're not always changing your call to action. So one day you say this, then the second day, then the third day is always something different. You can't test whether or not something's working if you're always changing it. You've got to do the same one to two call to actions in every single post and then you can see which ones working, if either of them are working and then you can keep going with that until it really slows down and then you can make it better. That is where consistent results comes from, whereas a lot of people in network marketing are always changing what they're doing, what the content is they're creating, the call to action they're using, so they never actually find what works and what doesn't work. Okay, my last big content lesson that I had this year was about lifestyle content. Now, not only did I really enjoy creating it, so whenever I went away, I would vlog each day, I would do photo-dumps, I would share my thoughts from being away. I would bring people on a standard boring day in my life that I think is boring, but other people don't. I was sharing more behind the scenes, both on my content, but especially my stories of my life, me and Tom, what we get up to going out with friends, Tom making my marcher. If you know, you know. But I love doing it, but it also worked really, really well and that's actually a massive not prediction because I've already seen an unfolding, but truth about content in 2026 is that people truly don't want to buy from people just because they say, oh, I can get you this result or this is the business I have or you can make money if you work with me. You truly buy from people and follow people because we like them. And the best way to do that is by sharing your life and your humour and how you speak and the things you're passionate about. That is what lands the most for people, so it's so important that you're doing that yourself, especially your Instagram stories, but bringing more of your life and day-to-day and photo-dumps and all of that epic stuff into your feed. So yeah, that did really, really well for me in 2025. I was just sharing more lifestyle, travel, adventures, weekends, all of the things. Okay, what I'm focusing on in 2026 is when it comes to my content. Now the first one, and this is definitely the biggest focus for me this year, is showing my face more. Now of course I do master classes, I try to get on my stories and show my face a lot. You listen to me on this podcast, but the best way to build trust with people is by showing your face. They see you, they hear you and they feel you. They feel your passion. It's why people love podcasts like this, right? Because you can feel someone's passion, they're sharing their knowledge, and they're sharing their personality as well. So I really love consuming rules myself where people are just sharing their thoughts and their opinions. And I'm like, yes, girl, I love that. I completely agree. And I've been really sitting with it a lot over the last two weeks of, that's definitely what I want to be focusing on in this new year. It's just talking more to camera. And I always tell our clients, don't wait for the perfect moment to film something. You know, when your hair's done or your makeup's done right, or it's really amazing lighting. Okay, I saw this real yesterday, and this man was sitting in a dark room. The only light on his face was coming from his muted TV. And it went absolutely crazy. I think he had like, what was it, 12,000 comments, millions of views. It was crazy. And he was just sitting in his lounge room, dark room, TV on his face, sharing his thoughts around, I think it was setting goals for the new year and what you should focus on. So it's in the moment. It's not this perfectly scripted, great lighting, hair done, makeup done, all of the things. It's perfect moment. It gets to be messy, and I really think that's the content that works the best. You know, I noticed myself really zoning out when someone's doing a real, it's got this like perfect sound and perfect captions, and it looks really professional and overly done. I don't know about you guys, but it definitely doesn't land the same way for me. So that's a good indication of, you know, if it doesn't, if that's not what I like in swimming, well, do I create content like that? I always tell our clients that as well, if you love tuming certain types of content, go and recreate it in your own way. I have some fun with it. So what I'm doing this year is I'm challenging myself to have one talking real grow up every day alongside my carousels. I'm still doing my carousels and my infographics, I'm just focusing even more on showing my face. So using more selfies in carousels, but also obviously like I said, talking to camera reals, thoughts, opinions, just in the moment stuff, even when I'm just sitting at my desk and I go, that's a really great thought. I'm going to write that down. No, I'm not going to write it down, I'm just going to quickly film it. It lands so much better. So that's the first one, focusing more on just showing my face. The second one is going live again. Now I can't believe how much I got away from this. I guess, you know, I really started focusing on doing more live events and getting on live calls to people seeing their faces, being in the chat with them. They kind of got away from Instagram lives, but moving forward, I will absolutely be aiming for two per week and when I was reflecting on it, I was like, Oh my gosh, when I was going live once a week, every week, I would have inquiries from every single one. I would get off it and somebody who was commenting on that live would say, Hey, Rach, I want to work with you. Where's the link? How do I apply to work with you? What do you offer? I would get that every single time and there was this month period where I think I was going live almost, I think it was twice a week for that entire month and I actually had two to five sales from every single life every time. I would have two to five people sign up to work with me from that life because I was just so consistent and I was always there. The same thing happened with my Instagram channel, you know, when I first started it, nothing came from it. Posting, doing the thing, showing up, being consistent, planting the seed and then after a few months, it was like every single time I drop into that channel and say, Hey, guys, I've got five spaces available for this or here's a new master class I have coming or a free guide event, whatever it is. It goes crazy. I get hundreds of messages from my Instagram channel. So it's like everything. The more consistent you are, the more you're in front of people, the better result you're going to get. It's like, you know what, let's test myself this year to show my face once a day on my Instagram and go live two times per week and I will keep you guys updated with how I go with that. I don't think I'm going to trial anything different. It's I go live 15, 20 minutes, strong hook at the start, lots of value and then just casually mention the mastermind at the end and leave it at that. And when you've got a strong hook at the start, people absolutely watch the replay. It's when you still you started off and you're so full of me, you don't start talking straight away or you're like, Hey, guys, let's wait for some people to get on. Of course, people aren't catching the replay. So I'm excited to test that. I'll keep you guys updated, maybe in February, I'll do a bit of an update about all these things and share with you where we're at and how we're going with it. Like I said, back in my content lessons, I'm definitely going to be putting a call to action in every single post moving forward this year. Of course, my, Hey, if you're new here, I'm Rachel, then I will do a PS one and then I will do a bit of an engagement one. So comment below your thoughts. Do you agree? Do you disagree? They're the three call to actions I'll be focusing on the most. I also said before about creating a Trello board and I've already got that ready to grow. I'm adding links in from content this year that performs really, really well, but that's a big focus for me is repurposing content. I definitely already do it. I just know I could do a much cleaner job of it and make creating content even easier for me, especially going back to posting three times a day. Repurposing is going to be huge. So, you know, you can post the exact same post word for word again a month later. You could do it every six weeks, especially when you're posting as much as I'm going to be this year, but even more so, it's having a post that did really well, repurposing it and just saying it a little bit differently. You know, maybe you did a carousel this time. You could use that information for a real or vice versa. It just gives you more ideas and more ways to be creative rather than always having to have something new again, definitely more lifestyle bringing more of my humor and my direct thoughts that I have in the moment to my reels. I have quite a few trips and fun things planned for this year, so I'm going to make sure that I document that, do some more day in the live videos, just really share what I'm up to and behind the scenes of building my company and changing this industry. I want to bring people more along for that journey. You guys, right? Okay. And like I've said, a few times, the last thing is really just getting back to posting three times per day. Again, I'm not telling you guys to, I'm not telling you guys to do any of these things. I just wanted to really pull back the curtain and show you my lessons and what I'm focusing on. I'm really about simplicity and just finding what works and doing a shitload more of it because if it works, it's going to get better the more that you do it, right? So for me, I know that when I was posting three times a day, I had some incredible growth that I haven't had since. It hasn't been the same. It's been consistent, but not the same. So now that I know what's been working, what I've enjoyed creating, I'm going into this new year with that and posting three times a day. So I'm excited to keep you all updated, let you know how it goes, share what's been working the best, maybe what hasn't, but I feel like I've got some good data now, and that's really what you should all be doing is finding what works and do more of it, rather than always trying to think of something new or following a new strategy or following a million experts on social media who are all saying something polarizing and just making this so much harder and more confusing than really it needs to be. Overall, I'm keeping everything the same with my brand, you'll see the same colours, you're just going to see more of my face. That is the goal. I really would love to have this podcast be on YouTube that's really been a long-term goal of mine, but it's very challenging when where we live, we like going to a studio to record, it just feels really good for us rather than doing it at home, like right now it feels a bit different. I'm doing this episode at home. It feels very different doing it at home compared to going to a studio and being in that environment, but unfortunately all of the studios here where we live, the lighting just sucks, and no matter what we do, it doesn't look good, it isn't the aesthetic we're going for, so we really need to navigate that and find a solution. I would love to have this on YouTube, just again, having, you guys be out of watch it if that's how you prefer consuming content, but yeah, getting my face out there even more, like I said. And everything's the same with my branding, the colors, the messaging, even the content style I do, but I just want to do more reels, more in the moment opinions, and I tell my clients to do the same thing, so I really hope that by me sharing this and bringing you inside of what I'm doing can give you some ideas and you might go, "Oh yeah, I really love that style of content. I'll do that myself." That's what this is all about. Alright guys, thank you so much for being here. Again, happy 2026, I'm so excited to see everything that you achieved this year. And to bring you shit loads of value, lots of podcast episodes, and yeah, Tom and I will see you guys next week.
