Yes, because everything that I have is with me all the time. And that itself, I think, is a magical thing. Because, like I said, if you're born with something that you feel you can utilize as a survivingism, why not? Hell, what? [music] Brilliant. Her with the knitting needle. [laughter] Like, what are you doing? Like, she just started talking and like, that's not what you asked her. When she just started talking and telling this whole story and you just like, "Chell, you just became a narcoleptic." It was hilarious. Thank you. Thank you so much. It didn't really occur to me that that's what happened that Eartha Kitt just kind of went on her own tangent. So, I think, you know, props to the props for telling the story because the knitting needles drove that home. I was like, "You're right. She didn't answer her question. She just went on." I thought she did answer the question. She was relating to the Wizard of Oz by saying, like, you know, I always have my stuff with me, meaning like courage, a brain, you know, like, she, everything she needs is right with her. So, I thought she did answer it, but, you know, I'm also happy to be totally wrong. I got what Kennedy was reading. I got what she meant because like, it sounded nonsensical. But when you listen really close, you're like, "Oh, yeah, she's talking." She like skipped four sentences and started saying what she said. Yeah. Well, anyway, the debate is not whether or not or the kid answered RuPaul's question, but did Kennedy to have an important need a Gallagher show worth of props? And I would say, "Yeah, I think it paid off. I think it worked." Oh my God. That's exactly what the challenge was asking to do because I do have some qualms about the judging this week. But yeah, no, it was twisted. It was funnier than the actual clip. Yeah, there wasn't a dull moment in Kennedy's lip sync. Yeah, and the first time I watched it, I was like, "Is this too much? Is this kind of like distracting from potentially not knowing the words?" But watching it again, I was like, "No, I think RuPaul even says at some point." Like, you know, "Breathe new life into these clips, make them totally twisted." And I was like, "Yeah, I think that's kind of what she was saying." We've already seen the original now do like, now make a pie out of this. I mean, I go, of course, go to our Untucked Lip Sync Challenge from season five. Right? It was, I mean, that's what this challenge was. It's a great challenge. It's a great challenge to elevate it, to make it bigger, to bring in a new element. Just even having the note cards that Kennedy had. All of that is what you should do. Otherwise, yeah, you're just lip syncing, right? Which is fine, but that's not what the challenge was. I mean, I feel like lip syncing is like my kind of like, pizza. That's my pizza challenge. We're like, "I don't care how you do it. I just want a lip syncing challenge." And so, I think that Kennedy was like, "Well, I'm going to do like a supreme, you know, meatza." But I, yeah, in general, I love lip syncing challenges. I love the Untucked Challenge. I love this one. I love that it doesn't cost the show any money. Sure, a recession indicator. Absolutely. Yeah. But rewind back. So, lip syncing challenge. Do you think these queens obviously had access to these clips before? Yeah, I think this is kind of been the consistent thing. They know the challenges. They know who they're going to play. They know what the clip is. They know what character on the home shopping network they're supposed to be. Yes, yeah. All of this is -- I think it's a much better product. I have to say, this is one of my favorite challenges now, like, top 10, Drag Race challenges. I was just very entertained by the idea, by obviously, like, the RuPaul of it all, the celebrity of it all, they're like, sort of, combined a little bit of snatch game. I just thought it was really creative. And it played right into Kennedy's strengths, which, as we know, Kennedy is like the lip sync standard. But where was my point going before this? Oh, so I also like that -- yeah, they come prepared, you know? It's not like we have to see them fuck up because, you know, they have to memorize something quickly. I also appreciated, sort of, the reality of it. You could tell that these were filmed with multiple takes. And multiple angles and multiple tries. Obviously, you know, they weren't lip syncing with themselves, right? So, I don't know. I just appreciated the editing factor because I think of RuPaul's own Instagram and TikTok lip syncs as its own version of this, where yeah, you get multiple takes. You get to try it, you know? Well, this does remind me of RuPaul's TikTok. And I feel like there was some kind of, like, mini challenge, like, last season that was very, like, TikTok inspired. So, I love this as a -- yeah, like, I think that RuPaul's TikToks are kind of the, you know, alone in your bedroom and a towel dress, playing all of the characters of a dream girl song, you know, brought to an acting challenge. And I feel like -- or, you know, or brought to the modern times. Like, I think RuPaul is kind of -- this is like, this idea of playing multiple characters. Like, this to me is like, yeah, this is drag you do in your bedroom by yourself. Of course. I was every character in rent. Yeah, exactly. Right, you know, in the sign of "Enter," I was a -- in the water, I was a very skinny lady, but I was also carol-inly. It was -- that's the magic of drag. And so, I thought this worked really well. It's also, like, very the parent trap. So, I appreciated that as well. Yeah, no, I thought this was a great challenge. This was a lot of fun. What was that TikTok video that we love with the -- like, the girl coming out to her grandma? Oh, oh, yeah. Oh, RuPaul. Which is -- that's correct, yeah. Yeah, whenever it was, I can't remember it quite exactly. But I just thought it was -- Yeah, was she going to say -- Yeah, you go for the girls now? That's correct. Yeah, she played multiple characters with some repuls. She knows what she's doing. She gets it. She gets it. And this was great. Listen, I -- granted there were some restrictions with the challenge that I wish weren't there, obviously. Like, I don't know. Do they have to be sitting down? I think that also sort of stunted some of the girls. I also, of course, thought which other queens would be amazing at this challenge. Not that, you know, these six weren't. But I just think that there's some creativity here that could have been injected in Ala Kennedy. And I don't know why the other girls didn't really want to go where she went. Yeah, I don't know. I -- because in some ways, I mean, we'll get into it. But some of the more understated performances are actually ones that I really appreciated. So I think there's also doing too much, you know. There's also like, you know, at the end -- because it's like, you know, we're doing all these hand movements or all these gestures. But if like, that doesn't really -- like, I think with Kennedy's, it was insane, but it was sensical. You knew -- She explained why she brought out knitting needles. Yeah. She explained why she put on a garbage bag. You knew why she was holding up those little signs. But I think some of the other queens, it was kind of like, all right, well, you're just kicking your leg in the air. You know what I mean? Why did you take your shoes off, honey, you know? It doesn't -- it doesn't make sense even in the crazy story you're telling. So sometimes, you know, like, I'll just say it upfront. Shogakain's share. I loved it. When I first watched Shogakain's -- I thought she was going to be on the top. Her RuPaul was -- I was laughing out loud at her RuPaul. Remind any of Janice from the Muppets? Yes. And no, Michelle, it was that manic. Like, it was that manic. Don't try to come in there and go, "No, I was there. I was there at the Pyramid Club. I was there. I know you really." It's like, "Kyakada, kada." Like, Michelle, we all had VH1 as a kid. It was that manic. Oh, RuPaul. No, and then you're right. Listen, the share was understated. But listen, this goes into a bigger point than I want to make. And maybe I don't want to, you know, blow my load at the top of the set. So don't save it for a picture. Yeah, I'm going to edge a little bit. But it -- what she did was great in the same way that some of you guys -- other queens did was great. And yet she sort of got read for it. And the other queen got praised for it. So yeah, I do I certainly, you know, there's some agreement. There's some disagreement with the judges. Absolutely. I thought there was, I don't know what they were talking about with Hershey, but, but yeah, I think that I think that overall I was just happy to be there. I was just happy to see a spoken word lip sync challenge spoken word lip sync, you know, for the crown spoken word lip sync for your life, just, you know, more oval team, please in general with spoken word lip sync. Yeah, absolutely. I, I, when I first watched it, I was, I just sort of put it on. It was early in the morning and, you know, whatever I'm working and stuff. And so I miss the detail that they were going to play both characters. And so I thought it was actually going to be RuPaul. I was, I was kind of thinking the same. I was not thinking they were going to be playing RuPaul or that it was going to be still using the old footage of RuPaul. Right. Yeah. Shots of them being. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly that. Um, and if it was RuPaul, I think the challenge would have also been interesting. To watch because RuPaul can just improvise with them and work with them, you know, RuPaul would have blown them out of the water because like, yeah, I mean, it just, I mean, talk about a master class. It would have just been like, you know, six lessons and how to do the song. Totally. Totally. No, I mean, she would have done six different examples of how to make it weird. Right. Like when they talk about it, I think it was like, you know, Mrs. Doubtfire, like every take Robin Williams would do something different, you know, I just, yeah, I feel like RuPaul was probably champion at the bit to be in this challenge. The one time she wanted to be more involved. Well, granted, I know she didn't do anything for the ladies room. Well, no, I believe she, she tapped in her, um, the stand in her stand in her, you know, her sister, you know, uh, RuPaul, RuPaul. Yeah. Her all star down under. Raven. Raven. I mean, all star down under that. Right. Shakingly internet this way. Just like New York mix who? Yeah, exactly. Raven in five. Yeah. I mean, it was just like, well, I guess now it's Alexis Mateo in five. Now that she's on Drag Race Mexico, Latrice Royale or whatever. Oh, Latina. All I see is Latrice. Oh, I see. Wait a minute. Did I didn't start yet, right? The project runway with that nightmare and the other nightmare. Playing in queue. Oh, yes, that didn't start yet, right? I'm not that I'm aware of. No one's told me. No one's telling me. No law and Tyra. Yeah. Right. Oh, those nightmares. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, no, I mean, I mean, I know we will have to get into it. But the, the, the, also the down under versus the world casting. I was like, you guys have got to stop. I can't resist. How do you like? Oh, Dmy, why you do this to me? Like, why are people upset that Raven was cast? I don't know. Besides the fact that she's, you know, basically just, you know, playing a racial, a different race. Well, sure. Yeah, exactly. I mean, like that internet kind of key key that they do about her and Christopher Satchine, all that. But like, is there any other reason why? I feel like it's no different from Panjina being on UK versus the world and having been a, been a judge before that. It's kind of like, all right. You know, uh, it's not like RuPaul's even judging. Exactly. And it's, it's a versus the world season. It's down under versus the world hosted by Michelle Visage. Like it is, you know, it's not nothing to sneeze at. But it's just, it's, it's just a little snack. It's just a little snack. Yeah. They don't even like reference them for real on, on all star season in the US. They're not even allowed to talk about their versus the worlds. Yeah. All starts 11 versus versus the world. Yeah. I mean, on, you know, on all the little lists, people keep forgetting how great jujube was a share because it was done on a UK versus the world season. Versus the world seasons are not like we, it's not something to get your panties in a bunch about, you know? Yeah. They're just, um, it's like when, it's like when a restaurant does a pop up for a weekend. Yeah. It's fun. Oh, God, they're going to be a union square all weekend. But like, then it's over. And it was fun while it lasted. And, you know, like chilies did a little pop up in union square. And you know, you think, oh my God, we finally have chilies. It's like an on course, right? It's like, oh, can't look cause. It's not moving a Broadway. But you know, it's fine. It's, it's up for six days. It's great. Yeah. There, there might be a music stand on stage. Yeah. There might be a music stand. There might be, there's, there's books in their hands. Like it's, they, they, they literally have two weeks to rehearse and, and we get it, you know, it's about budget, but about bringing, you know, the good, the goodies and the oldies back to the stage. Yeah. And so Raven, I think would sort of qualify as like, oh, well, yeah, let's see what she does. I mean, I'm kind of genuinely curious. So like, all right. Well, let's see what Raven does these days. And Nicole's going to be there. Oh, yeah. As you're a fan. Yeah. And P.B. Fag. P.B. Fag. And P.B. Fag North peanut butter fag. Yes. North peanut. Like, I also love that people are like kind of waking up to like, well, wait a second, Raven didn't do that well. - Yeah, like, I mean, listen, you know, let the record show what it shows about Ms. Tyra, but like when it comes to Ms. Honey, but when it comes to season two, when it comes to who demolished the challenge of the season, you know, Raven, it wasn't, you know, what about me, what about Raven? Nope. - Yeah, nope. I mean, honestly, my top two was Tyra and Gigi B. So. - I mean, Gigi B certainly won the reality TV of the season. And like, less than anyone then forget about like, you know, Tatiana and the heavy lifting sheet at that season. - Yes, Tatiana, Ms. Honey. - Yeah. - Yeah, no, absolutely, absolutely. So anyway, I think for all of those reasons that we just sort of went through, it's like, oh yeah, well, let's put her in the call, CM. You know? - Yeah, we saw Arnold Star is one and she, you know. - She cried. - She cried. Okay. - All Star is one. If all Star is one, doesn't count. You know, I'm just like, all right, like, who cares? Anyway, it's just an interesting, interesting, kerfuffle. People get so hot and bothered about her. The other thing that happened, was it this week was like the Courtney Act and Georgia's drama? - Oh my god. - Which is still pretty. - Maria, there was the, of course. - Georgia's makes me get dumber every single time I read anything that she writes. I just feel like I'm dumber. - Nosegate, there was noist contour gate. And then listen, let's anyone forget about the jumping board that is the Kelly Mantle show or Queens just come on and say some shit. - Oh yeah. - 'Cause then discourse, Adam, discourse, Adam, and Dracula. I mean, it's so funny because all of it is truly drag race drama. It's how you contour your nose. It's manipulating Queens for drama on one show versus the other. - I mean, it's all just dumb without the B. - Dumb without the B. And like, Georgia's nose had a play into the comedy, which I think is hilarious. - Oh yeah. - And Courtney's like unbothered. - Because all of it is just cotton candy in the rain. - It's just for engagement. - But anyway, yeah. - Oh my god, Georgia's, why are we still talking about Georgia? - I don't know.
