They didn't have to go so hard with that song. Welcome back to the toast. Every Friday feels like the beginning of summer. Especially when you're living in Florida. Like, because we have like a little summer break this weekend. That's unbelievably beautiful. We're going to the beach, the pool. Dip-dodge-dive and dive. I meant to say like dive, but we're also going to dip-dodge-dive and dive. Usually we sort of like ease into the weekend, but I feel like we have a lot to do today on the episode front. We do. Last night's episode was actually like an exercise in "How to Be a Loser." Like it was insane. It was real. We were so close. Oh my god. We were so close to like vindication and like everything that, you know, we are with the worst kind of like players left. And admittedly so they'll all say they're the worst even though they'll say Natalie is so smart or whatever. Um. Stop Natalie. She made me cry. No. They're disgusting. I fucking hate these people. Let's save all the spoilers for the TV recap. Along with Real House says in Beverly Hills, we also have Queenie and Weenie. And then we also just have like two fabulous-scales being fabulous. And then we're talking about pop culture. Yes, that is what we do for a living. Talking about themselves. Yeah, today's kind of a big day. I mean, it is what the 20th, right? Yes. So I wanted to have this, you know, little speech on the 21st, but it's a Saturday. Um, we're just turning nine months. On the 21st. Nine months in. Nine months out. Even though it's like 10 months, I will be making a speech regardless. Oh wow. Where has the time gone? I think I'm that Harry just turned four. And I was like, it's Harry's turn. I'm sorry. Nine months is bigger than four. Like, do you agree? Nine months is like, it's basically the same as a year. Yes. And, oh, yes, I'm not here to continue. So, oh my god, I'm literally going to try not to cry. I was like crying last night. Nine months in. Nine months out. I just wanted to use this moment as a marker, you know, the selfless queen that I am for others. If you find yourself pregnant right now and like freaking or wondering like, should I? Is this life for me? Let me tell you. It's for you. And if you're worried, you should only be worried that your life has sucked so much until this point. Okay? Like, oh my god, it's the most amazing thing. Like, yes, life is different, of course. Are we out, shaking our titties on ya? No. It's so doesn't matter, you guys. Like, it's the best, most amazing thing ever. Your life begins now. And of course, if this life is not for you, your life is great too. You know, I'm not -- I feel like the childless people and then the childful people are always combating with one. I don't give a fuck. That's not what I'm talking about. This is the state. You have to uplift people who might be on the fence. To talk like child-free women and childful women are always battling one another and I'm like, girl, they always think the other's talking about that. Yeah, I'm not talking about you. And you're not talking about me. Like, we're good. So sorry. Anyway, it's like -- You're talking to people who are on the fence and also people who are nervous who like expect that one day they're gonna have kids, but you're always just like, am I ready? I don't feel ready. And of course, I'm like, I loved my life so much. It was like a very hard decision for me. I always do my one-to-have kids. Everyone has been watching you on the show for seven years. You've been married the entire time that you were on the toast and you just didn't feel ready. I didn't feel ready. And I was like, kind of like really gonna miss my life. Like, I had this amazing life. Like, I got to do whatever I wanted. And like, you know, I had a lot of disposable income that I could just do whatever I wanted with. Like, there was no one to tell me now. And while that was amazing, of course, and can't wait to get back there one day. This 32.0 is just the best thing in the whole world. So, maybe someone out there needed to hear that. So, I just wanted to say. It's a little encouragement. Nine months in, nine months out. Are you gonna post like a nine months in? No. Cause like, I don't have any pictures. Nine months in. Yeah. And for nine months out. Yeah, like, no. Well, you could do like something from the toast to like a clip of you on the toast nine months in. That's the thing. It's like sometimes I feel like I don't like capture enough. And make like an edit for me. Yeah, of turn. It's like a Taylor Swift song or something. Yeah, yeah. Sometimes I feel like I don't capture enough content. I'm like, I actually capture content like hours long every single week. Oh, that of course. So I am giving her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't leave Lynne Natalie out to dry just because. But I think all day, she's like really playing the game, theorizing whatever. But when it comes to like actually making accusations and pointing fingers at the table, she doesn't want to be the one to do that again. She's also not good at it. I say this every week It's the show is so fascinating because it's seriously a sociological experiment to see all these people like have actual concerns legitimate concerns about Rob not voice them and get so in Rob sitting there smiling when the conversation now becomes a fight between Tara and Natalie like it's so Just silly and funny how humans like are easily manipulated by people and I also think it's not good for women Mora more but also Tara Natalie like getting distracted They were aligned on Rob and they had a really good reasons for Rob and instead they start like infighting with each other Yeah, but I think the more a thing is more embarrassing like Mora couldn't would not even entertain the conversation like she's so like swoon she's like Swooning yeah, but they're not even love fucking finds out. So I think honestly they just have to kill Tara or Johnny because Eric rob Mora Mora and mark mark is like 75% team rob like he might have to be the one to like save everyone, but I think they'll never get Mora to flip and so If he goes against the group like I think it's kind of in it's one or the game is one already by rob yeah, yeah Rob had like a moment of reflection first of all Rob like lashing out at the Carnival was weird. Yeah, but then he had like a moment of reflection for the first time like you know The sociopath was like I feel bad for all the people I'm hurting. I actually did not buy it I think that rob will get them all to turn on Eric and they'll banish Eric. They'll have gotten a trader But Rob was still in their midst Well, I think that that would probably be the best thing for Rob because I think people are like you couldn't go to bat for your Trident true traders like the second thing is got hard you dumped Alisa Um, but this rando Eric walks in at the 11th hour and you're like fighting for him It actually makes him look really bad and really misogynistic like yes, but I think he needs his vote. Yeah You know because if if Eric got out If he works it so Eric got banished instead of Natalie Natalie's not a sure vote for team Rob right she ready started going for Rob so she had to go her speech made me so upset like First of all I can't believe she was in that dress all day with the heels like I know So I read about the schedule like you do full glam by yourself in the morning you go to the castle all day You change there for the challenge into like running clothes you get back to the castle put back on your outfit Like I think you're allowed to touch up your makeup a little bit and then the round table goes into the wee hours And then I was so uncomfortable for her in the dress and the shoes. Yeah And then she gives this speech about how like she's always wanted to be strong And now she feels like it was like her greatest asset and then people here like used it against her and She's a faithful no and when they're like I think you're a trader. You're very smart You're very strong. You're good at the game. It's like just because I'm smart doesn't mean I'm a trader like So while faithfuls are dumb not only that like you don't achieve Trader status. It's just given to random people so be smart. It's not like you earned it right So like okay because I'm smart and because I'm smart you guys want to get rid of me when I could maybe help you It's very hard to judge everyone because I just know of my assets in this house Like I'd be dumber than all these people. I have no idea. I think it's so hard. I don't think I would be good at it I think you're right that like only a true sociopath as a faithful or a trader can be successful like it's so Like I'm being very judgmental and I'm like you're done. You're stupid. You're back wrongly. I would be worse No, I think that it's hard to be a really good trader I don't I will respect Rob's gameplay, but I think for the faithfuls It's a bit of luck and like going unnoticed and just being like unremarkable until a certain point Because then you've been like so quiet the whole time that was like Lisa Rina Yeah, no, but you can't do that as Lisa yeah, right right mark ballast. It's like a perfect example But even like Donna Kelsey like she engaged with no one because she was like afraid and they got her like week two Yeah, no, so it's really kind of like luck like who they're gonna try and focus on Um except Rob is a skillful player and it's like Colting got banished or like you know halfway through the game or whatever would we say he was a good player Even though it's not great. So it's like weird the best players aren't there. You know It's like you you aren't rewarded like the people who make it far aren't the best players They're lucky or unremarkable And that's boring that's the fatal flaw of the show like the people that were left with now Imagine if like the remaining six was like Rina Candace Michael rapaport like Donica, see like everyone it was a good cast. Yeah Who we were left with like that's just the fatal flaw of the game. Yeah, it is while like why were the first three episodes Like the best TV I've ever seen in my life because it was a lot of different people a lot of characters out of personalities And I know the secret trigger thing was like kind of Dumb but I did really like when people would get on the the circle that I didn't know what they were gonna say like now I know what everyone's gonna say and I'm like yes stick it to them Natalie But it was a little thrilling to be like is Donna the secret trader like not knowing who for the audience I always wonder what the show would be like and how how I would be as an audience member If I didn't know who the traders were would I be able to guess? So that was try it one season. I didn't think it was Donna. I didn't think it was done I thought it was for sure Like Elger abusers. Yeah, and this poor old lady - Yeah, I thought it was for Sherkelton. - Yeah. - And then Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which was really, I was not loving the episode. I thought I was kind of boring until Denise showed up. I thought that was the most fascinating conversation in reality TV history. One, because Denise's time on the show, I believe was cut short. I think the women really did her dirty. And it was very interesting as she remained friends with a couple of ourselves. And I guess she kept in contact with Erica. And now we know why Erica was so moved by Denise's story. I was so shocked. - Yeah. - Like Erica spoke up. - I was shocked. - Yeah. - I wasn't sure if it was the boy, the mess, I'm a boy, one of my three. The man that she's dating. Is that what she was referring to? It was like, how much time has passed? But then she said, no, now she's dating someone else. So it was the relationship before that. - Yeah. - Who we don't know who she's been dating in the years since Tom. - It was so crazy. First of all, Denise's stories about being abused after her baseline. - After her baseline. - Oh my God. - On the toilet. Like fucking crazy. - I fucking hate that. - You can't walk, like you can't go to the bathroom, can't walk, can't wipe yourself. - Could you be more vulnerable? - No. - And that's how she knew, like that friend before the ex surgery, she wanted, like insane. She looked amazing. - Yeah. - And I loved the transparency about face lifts. - No, that was frightening. - And then out of left field, Erica says it happened to me. - Yeah, well, Erica was being so supportive. Like she knew what, just what to say. Like she couldn't have been a better friend in that moment. And then, yeah, then she shared like that she knows how she feels because it's happened to her. And that was just so sad. And Sutton was also just like so there. - And I want to say I thought it was very appropriate. That Sutton got choked up in her confession. I was like when someone shares that with you, like you crying, stop. Like that's inappropriate. But it's such a heavy thing. And I thought it was like a real, um, she's like a very graceful response from, like to be there and supportive and ask questions. But not be like overly emotional. But then clearly, like it's a shocking thing to hear in her confessionals, like getting choked up about it. - Yeah, I feel like all the women at least this season are really good at being there for each other. Like even Erica has more like legal drama. And like they've always had. - That's so crazy. - Yeah. That sucks. - It sucks. - Because she's just like digging herself out of the hole that Tom left her in and she's working so hard. And it's like almost all for nothing because all of it has to go to her legal bail. - Mm-hmm. - That's terrible. Um, so I would love to have Denise back on the show. I loved her when she was on it. I thought the women mistreated her so poorly. Kyle. Kyle doesn't get enough hate for that. Like she was so awful leaving the charge against. - And Miranda. - And Miranda. - Yeah, of course. - And she was still best friends with Rina. Yeah. They were best friends on the show after the show. - It was a real friendship. - Yeah. So I think, but I think like Denise hates Rina. - Of course. - Yeah. So Erica's like in the middle. - Now watching those old clips of Erin like. - I know. - It's the hand crushing thing. I hadn't seen that before. - I remember seeing it. And then it was just like. - Like that. - Explain. Like it was just like, oh yeah, it was a bad moment. - Yeah. And like men who get really involved. It's always in a various. Like it's fucking weird. - Yeah. - Especially season one. - And the other husband. - Honestly, I never said, I just remember. I don't remember exactly everything they did. But I just remember thinking like Denise and Erin were such a great couple. - And it was just a point of one another. Like. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Especially after Charlie. And then when Denise said he makes Charlie look like an angel. - It's true. - Because when I watch Charlie's documentary and like his greatest crime was that he was self-destructive. Like he never really hurt. Denise was in the documentary. I think like she, he was a terrible husband. But I think she loves him and like they still try to actively co-parent and they have a good relationship. Like he was worse than Charlie. - Yeah. - For sure. Shocking. - Um, the episode was like kind of boring. Otherwise, like love to see the ladies at surf live. - Oh, I loved the Hamptons watching like to re-get her flurred on. Was so cute. Was that guy 26 or 40? - I don't know. Zander. - Yeah. Like he didn't look 26 and he didn't look 40. He looked both. He actually looked both 26 and 40. - Um, I could have lived without like the whole thing. - Why aren't all the girls there? - It's a weird trip. - And it really looks like they were having true fun. - Yeah, it's like a perfect summer. They do two trips on house. I was like a small one. Like always like a little bit more local. And then they're going into the lake. - But they already did. - Oh yeah, where did they go Santa Barbara? - Like San Antonio. - Oh, no Arizona. - Sa-Cidona. - Hmm. - Some, whatever. - Two scone. - Two scone. - They did a local trip and then they do a big trip. But yeah, they could have done like a midsize trip where they all went to the Hamptons. And we're all at Surflodge and we're all going shopping. - Like, would be amazing. - Yeah. And then it looks like next week, like Kyle calls Bose, being like, I'm really concerned. - About Dury, 'cause she's shopping. - She, by the way, up a hug. - Erica's giving real empath this season. Like even her conversation with Amanda, which was the first time I heard Amanda speak and I didn't like hate everything she said and like thought she was the worst. Um, she's just coming, she's approaching the season with like a lot of, you know, feelings. - Yeah. - Like understanding. It's nice. - She's like really like a rock solid friend. - Yeah, she, I feel like she's just like a rock solid person. Ooh, she's chilling when she said, you don't know what it's like to be the mother of a police officer and have to call 911. - Yeah, chilling. I was forget that Erica has a son who's a cop. - Yeah. - I was so forget that she like has a son. - Oh, I remember. - It's just like, I feel like it's a little in Congress with like her image, like her Erica Jane image, you know? Like Erica Gerardi had a kid. - She's so 360. - She cannot put Erica Jane in a box. - No, I throw out about Amanda. She's been coming up on my time. - With her in a lot. - Like her content. - Her content. - She's definitely giving poses like onto something because like she's so wealthy from all these courses, right? She makes Instagram reels that have like 700 views. - Yeah, so what do you think that it is? Cause poses saying like she teaches you how to manifest money while also taking your money. So it's kind of like counterintuitive. - Yeah, no, it's snake oil salesmen. Like snake oil salesmen's live in nice houses because they are good salesmen. - Yeah, but like if you want to spend your money learning how to make money, like that's how you, like she's not breaking the law. - Right, but it sounded like you were about to loose like some sort of fraudulence. Cause like how can you make that much money? - It's not a fraudulent per se in it. - It's a question mark. Cause how can you make that much money doing what she does? - It lives in a nice house. - And she shouldn't have said that her husband like brings home no money because we would have just assumed like they are dual income shut. You know what I mean? Like, but it definitely like leaves a question mark of how can you make that much money doing what she's doing? - The thing she said about Doree was really mean about how like Doree is just jealous of Amanda because Amanda has never financially depended on Amanda. - Oh my God, I was like, I was like, I was like, no one was saying anything. - Yeah, but Doree financially depended on Amanda. And it's really not working out for her. Like so mean. - So I'm going through a legal battle with their ex over custody and money. Like it's such a traumatizing thing. So one called for like a theater. - They're argument, they're like petty squabbles have not reached a level where you've gotten there yet. - Where you need to say that about someone. - Yeah. - That was just like so out of love field. - Yeah. - So yeah, it was like kind of a boring episode. I kind of need the gals back together. It's now like two and a half episodes over there. - It's by for Kate and. - Where they're on separate coats. And it's like, or sorry, Erica should be the Hamptons. Oh, I like their Rachel Zo, like Hades Kyle. Because it's like, it's true. Kyle is like this OG housewife and everyone loves her. Everybody loves us. And it's like, where's that girl? You know? - Yeah. - This is like this new Kyle is like definitely, and I don't think it has anything with her being sober. She just like, she kind of sucks. And so I hear Rachel being like, you're like the OG of the B.A. And it's like, this is it? - No, and I don't even remember that she's sober. I'm not interested in like watching junk people. That's not like, so it has nothing to do with that. - It does. - I also now notice what you said, which is that Kyle is very nasty in her interviews. Nassier than like, you know, at the table she'll like not say anything and then she'll undercut whatever Doread said in her interview. And it's, it's gonna make for an interesting reunion. But if I'm Doreat watching that, like, that's not your friend. - No, and Rachel's really likes to read. Like what they're, I think they are similar personalities. They're very fashioning and then they both have this like, you know, divorce looming over their head. So they relate to one another. And I think soon like Rachel's dislike or just like, meh, on Kyle is gonna get even worse because she's gonna start taking up for her friend. I like that Rachel's like not afraid to get a little dirty. I mean, she could go a little bit more, you know? - Same, but I also think Kathy stands in her way. - Even though like those things-- - Kathy wouldn't stand in her way, but like she's not gonna-- - No, no, no. - Well, the Hilton sisters, no one's asking to them then each other, but like, you can be. - No, and I think Rachel would respect that that's Kathy's sister. - Yeah, and like not want to put Kathy in an uncomfortable position even though like Kyle chose Renaside over Kathy who has a DJ situation. - But like Rachel's a DJ situation. - Right, remember, I had her-- - Of course, that was awful. - Awful. - So no, Rachel like, joined this crew. Like, she has to work over the summer, but she's like, whatever I think being a reality star is fine, these women look like they have a lot of fun. And like, she's wanting to have fun. And Kyle's like, so not in a fun place. So I just feel like it's not a good match them too. I don't know why she brought Kyle. And it was all to like, helping her-- - And it was like single ladies. - No, I thought it was like to help her and Doreet like see one another. Meanwhile, they haven't had like a meaningful conversation the whole time. - But I guess also if she just brought like Doreet and Erica, well, that would've been my dream. - Sure. - And Doreem team, but she probably brought like Doreet and Kyle because like that's content. - Yeah. - You know, like them, they need to have conversations and do the spiel. - But they're not. But they're not even doing it. - So why is Erica sitting at home? - Why is Erica there? I feel sick. - Even to Kyle could have been there. It's not one or the other. I of course wanted to throw Massimo, I just came around because just like I imagine Fumbling Lori Loughlin, but I didn't end up going with him. I came very close to choosing Tara LaPinsky because honestly, her behavior at the round table could only be described in one word. - I did, but weeny behavior. - But I decided to go with someone else and that's Lucy from Tell Me Lies, like getting in the car. And actually I wanna also make me the week, anybody who thought she would have a plan getting in the car and that Lucy's in control and she didn't go, 'cause that's also like, - And this was all her way here. - I'm a little bit Lucy, like, her getting back in the car, like, her getting back in the car. - Her getting back in the car, only to like do it all again at like, Bri and Riggley's wedding. - Correct. - My weeny of the week is adjacent tears, it's from Tell Me Lies and it's Riggley's wig and the people who put it on his head and thought that that was a good idea. - I love that. - And in like the, what's supposed to be like, the penultimate moment of the show of Bri and Riggley. - So distracting. - Finally getting together without morning breath and they're like looking their best and it's been years and he's in that wig.
