I am Frank sample joy by Chris Towers and perhaps the biggest standout of the weekend. Read Deppers. Are you kidding me against the Rangers? Eight innings one hit one run 14 strikeouts to zero walks. Poreneally great in fit and X fit leagues Chris hopefully this is a sign of more things to come on obviously not this but we know that there's talent in there. He's 59% roster. He's a spark for those and points leagues. Do you think just try and add debtmers anywhere after a start like this? Generally speaking yes, because what you are looking for on the waiver wire is pictures with this kind of upside. Obviously that's not always the case. Sometimes you're just looking for streamers who can give you a decent amount of points in the upcoming week. But generally speaking you are looking for pictures who can make a big impact can be legitimate must start difference making type players. And read demos definitely has that upside and it's just a question of. If this was the fourth start of read debtmers career and he did that 14 strikeouts over eight run one run innings. There would be no question. This is a 100% must add run out and everywhere got. It is instead I don't know the hundredth or the 90th start of read debtmers career and we have seen him mostly be bad. We have seen him mostly turn really interesting skills with good peripherals into pretty mediocre results for fantasy. And so I understand and share your skepticism around read debtmers. I truly do. But if you're talking about, you know, what am I looking for on the waiver wire besides just streamers. It's a picture who could strike out 14 in the game and they're just aren't very many of those read debtmers just did it. So yes, I will prioritize read debtmers on the waiver wire where I can. The most added starting pictures on CBS this weekend were Ben Brown, Debbie Matthews and Griffin jacks. Would you take read debtmers overall three of those? I think debtmers and Brown and I'll throw Bubba Chandler in this. I don't know if you were planning on asking about him later, but he's 72% roster. I would throw all those guys in more or less the same category where I think they should probably just be rostered. In 100% of leagues, maybe you don't have room for all three of them in your league where they're all available, but just as a general rule, I think read debtmers, Ben Brown and Bubba Chandler all have the kind of upside that should be rostered somewhere in any 12 team or deeper league. Dylan Cruz got called up last week and he is making some stuff happen. He had a steal on Friday, had a homer on Saturday. He's only 45% rostered. Don't think he's a must add must roster type, but Chris in those five out of the other leagues, those wrote a league. I was looking to read Dylan Cruz this weekend. How about you? Yeah. Any five out of the league. I think it's okay to add Dylan Cruz, even if I'm, I remain pretty skeptical overall, but what we saw down at AAA was, he was finally starting to hit the ball hard. And that was not something that we have seen from him throughout his professional career, especially in the majors. He just hasn't shown very much raw power in addition to just not being a very good hitter. That was starting to change to the minor league level. He was putting up some higher end exit velocities. That's what I want to see. I'm still pretty skeptical again, but he's probably going to play pretty regularly. He's probably going to run a lot. It's just a question of can he be even if he's just like a 17 home or 260 hitter. That's probably a must start player in a five out of three to the league with the kind of speed Dylan Cruz has. So let's just hope he can get there. Jake Berger is heating up and everybody loves a nice hot burger over his last 12 games. He's hit 375 with four homers and OPS over 1200 during that span. Chris, we know Jake Berger goes through stretches where he can get hot and hit a bunch of home runs. He's 51% rostered. I think in any leagues where you have a corner infield spot, if he was dropped, I would be looking to re add him, especially if I need power on my team. Yeah, I mean, here's the problem with Jake Berger. It's kind of like in fantasy football when you get these like goal line running backs. And it's like, yeah, they have the skill set to score a lot of touchdowns. They have the role and opportunity to score a lot of touchdowns. That's also all they do. They are totally one dimensional. If they don't score a touchdown, you're getting nothing from that's basically Jake Berger. It's just is this one of those weeks where he hits three home runs. Okay, then you're pretty happy you started Jake Berger. If it's one of those weeks where he hits one home run, you're probably not that happy. You started Jake Berger because he just doesn't do much besides head home runs. But as a hot hand play, I think he's a fine addition when he is currently hot, but we've already seen multiple instances this season of him getting hot, cooling off in a big way, getting hot again. I think he's just inherently streaky. One dimensional header though. All right, let's take a quick break. We'll be back right after this. Welcome back in the FPT Express looking at waiver wire names from the long weekend and Steven Colock of the royals. He threw a four hit shut out against the Mariners and he's pitch okay. He does not get strikeouts. He gets a good amount of ground balls very clearly behind the red debtmers and Ben Browns of the world. But Christy, you see anything more than a streamer here for Steven Colock of the royals. Not really. No, he just doesn't miss enough bats. I don't think he's a bad pitcher, but he is not as good as coming off a complete game shutout makes him seem. I think he can be somewhat useful against the right matchups, but there's just no strikeout upside. You're relying on a lot of lock on balls and play. He does limit walks, but I think it's more like a four plus ERA guy. And that mostly just means he says good is his next matchup. Now that being said, his next matchup is at Texas. Right now that looks like a pretty good matchup. Red debtmers just had 14 strikeouts against them. Tatsu, Emy and a couple of rookies just no hit them. Yep. So I do think Steven Colock is potentially worth streaming against the Rangers. I just, you know, I don't know what the schedule looks like after that. But if it was the Yankees after that, it would be pretty easy to drop Steven Colock. We did get a bunch of prospect promotions this weekend as well. So I'm just going to throw a bunch of names here away. You tell me if you're interested in any of them. The D-backs called up Tommy Troy, the Cubs promoted outfield. Kevin outconcer on infielder Pedro Ramirez. The Mets were called Jonah Tongue. The Cardinals called up Brian Torres and the Rockies were called Sterling Thompson. Do you have any interest in these prospect promotions from this weekend? I have a decent amount of interest in Tommy Troy, who is a second baseman who will play outfield for the diamond backs who has been certainly a top 10 prospect in the diamond backs organization. Not sure he's really a top 100 prospect anywhere, but he's someone that prospect hounds like a decent amount. There's, you know, the strikeout rates up a little bit this season to 24% before that had been like 17, 18%. So someone who could provide a pretty good bad average, probably not a ton of pop, but maybe double digit homers, 20 plus deals in a best case scenario. I think that's all within the realm of possibility for Tommy Troy. So in in my road, Oli, especially deeper ones where I need a middle infielder, he's definitely worth a look. I won't be mad if he gets outfield eligibility and gives me a little flexibility to the Cubs guys, both our contours and Pedro Marmirez are really interesting players. I think Ramirez more so, but there's just nowhere for them to play. So I think these are two guys who will matter in a lot of leagues come August first after they probably get traded by the Cubs for some pitching out, but it's hard for me to see a role where they make an impact right now. And then I remain intrigued by Jonathan. I don't want to say I'm ready to say he needs to be rostered everywhere. Certainly not. We don't know what the role is going to be the next time he pitches, which is likely to come this week, but he lowered his arms slot. There were some signs of the rare breaking balls he threw having a little more depth to them. So I remain very, very interested in Jonathan. All right.
