Week 8 Winners & Losers: Biggest Takeaways From Every Game! (11/1 Fantasy Football Podcast)

The episode reviews key fantasy football performances and injuries across multiple games, highlighting standout players and worrying trends. Jonah Coleman’s breakout as the Broncos’ lead running back after RJ Harvey’s absence marks a significant win, while Zay Flowers’ collapse due to lack of targets and poor matchups results in a major fantasy loss. The Arizona Cardinals’ improbable victory over the Cowboys showcases Gardner Minjue’s growing role as a fantasy quarterback, especially in shootout scenarios. Rookie running backs like Omar Cooper Jr. and Tony Pollard face challenges—Cooper had zero targets, while Pollard remains a top-12 option with strong fantasy points in recent games. Multiple injuries to key players, including Jeremiah Love, Zane Wilson, and Mike Washington, add volatility to fantasy rosters. The Jets’ running back split between Brie’s Soul and Allen creates a difficult decision for managers, especially with tough upcoming matchups. The show also underscores the importance of injury tracking, matchup analysis, and roster flexibility. Beyond fantasy, injury updates from teams like the Lions and Raiders reveal defensive struggles and potential trade opportunities. Ultimately, the episode blends performance data with injury trends to guide fantasy decision-making, emphasizing that consistent production, not just raw talent, defines success. Whatever's holding you back, hymns has a real plan for it. Be confident, be hymns. Hi, I'm Tony DeCouple and as anchor of the CBS evening news, I am filled with endless curiosity about our world and our society. Maybe you are too. My new podcast is called Great Question. It's an effort to capture that curiosity and to answer the question you haven't heard a satisfying answer to, or maybe haven't even heard asked. Follow and listen to Great Question with Tony DeCouple wherever you get your podcast. Everybody welcome to the show Sunday night recap of week eight. Yeah, okay, here's the first question for us. We welcome you to fantasy football today and it is presented by hymns. The bangles were hymns. Of the top five, what? Don't you can't say the bangles were hymns. When they were 14 point favorites and they go to over time to be the Titans. I'm talking fantasy here of the top five superflex options this week, or like any player, six point proposing touchdown, PPR, three of them are bangles. One, Borough, two, Higgins, five, Chase. Who are the other two in the top five? Top five best players. Three of them are bangles. Who are the other two this week? It's the names that we knew would be. Because it's fantasy options. Cousins, there's one. And Tyler Alger was the other. I feel like you cheated. It was a little too quick. I do have it open, yes. I like the honesty, yeah, Tyler Alger. I didn't know it was a game, sorry. That is okay. Tyler Alger is rostered in 45% of leagues. He started in 8% of leagues. And anyway, welcome to the show and let's get going here. A couple of amazing stats. The Arizona Cardinals are 5 and 0. At Dallas's AT&T stadium. I don't remember the other four wins, but this had to be the most improbable, incredible win for the Arizona Cardinals. Hardener, he's got to be happy. Oh, yeah, yeah. There you go. Like literally the only positive thing that happened today. But it's fantastic that we get reminded that Gardner Manchew is an NFL starting quarterback. Maybe he might. Most added player in superflex leagues coming up. Can the Ravens please trade for him? They might trade for Berset. They might trade for anyone, anyone. And do we have any information on it? I know Shane Stuykin said they're going to evaluate everything in Indianapolis. Did we get anything post-game about Berset versus. Not ready to make an announcement. Oh, at least I've Berset there at 8th. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, okay. Well, then yes, then of course we have to figure out if the Ravens quarterback is going to be because of Marjacks and it's going to have. That's to the Ravens quarterbackers. Not on the roster, we might guess. Congratulations on avoiding having to squelch a bit. Would you like me to offer you a doubt? I don't need any else. I'm still winning. You are. After a zero, that is so sad that you're still winning. He texted Adam this afternoon. I said that zero is going to really help you. And his reply was. Is it Adi Say's name? Fignano? Yes, Fignano, yeah. Fignano for president. If I hadn't voted already, I would have written him in for governor. Anyway, biggest winner, other than me. Who wants it? Raise your hand if you want to give the biggest winner today. Dave's got to go in. Okay, go ahead, Dave. I mean, it's just, it's Jonah Coleman. It's got to be him. He's the one who is. He led the Broncos backfield in the second half. Jackie Dobbins had one snap in the second half of their game against Kansas City. But he looked great as a pass catcher. He had that big play that set up the game-winning touchdown. He's clearly their best running back. We kind of hinted at that going into this week. We just didn't know how big his role would be. And the first domino to fall was RJ Harvey not playing. And then I still thought, well, you know, he doesn't have a lot of experience playing third down. So maybe, Jackie Dobbins will still have that role. Nope, didn't happen. Broncos seem done with Jackie Dobbins and that Jonah Coleman has taken over as their main guy. Pretty easy winner and a pretty easy start moving forward. And some great match-ups. Carolina next week, then a buy two games against the Raiders. Before it's all said and done the Jets. Miami's in there. Yeah, Miami's run defense is okay, but it's not when you're avoiding. There's some tough match-ups, but overall, it's a good schedule for Coleman. It was started in 44% of leagues. Who's the biggest loser today, James? Zay flowers. Zay flowers. And absolutely terrible. Like we go from Ye Lamar is back to Oh no. You don't even get the backup. One plate. And guess what? Guess what? You get three days until your next game against Jacksonville. Zay flowers goes from, I think, a top five wide receiver in all of our rankings this week to probably not a starter next week. We're going to need that one. What was better that or? Oh, the new one. It's so uncomfortable hearing that. My top three, like most roster wide receivers this season, were Zay flowers, Drake London and George Pickens. The first half of today was awful. And I thought, well, you know, at least we've got the chiefs in the 430 window. Who's there? And Budgerfah. Budgerfah, oh, that's a great way to eat. That is great. They missed that this morning, I think, right? They was off when that happened. Yeah, I hope you all tuned in with my Adam Adam dropped a bad effort today. No, I didn't. Are you serious? Oh, my goodness. It was the worst. The worst, you know, I've said some some bad words on the show. This was the worst by art. You know, kids were probably listening after Halloween. I tell you say it now. Sam, do you have it? No, I don't have it. I get it kind of. All right, extended the day when you have it. Sam, Sam is trying to keep his job. He's not going to replay that on here again. No, not to play on there, but Dave, Dave needs to hear it. Yeah, I think one of the stories he was talking about how much he loves Butterfingers. And he said, I believe in love Butterfingers. No, gosh, anything further from the truth. He said exactly what I just said, except it was butter instead of butter. Yeah. Anywho, you know, maybe a storyline, a headline from today is, you know, rookie wide receivers on the rise with Mike Washington Jr. and Jonah Coleman and those are running backs. Sorry. And running running backs on the rise, rookie wide receivers were horrible today. Dude, we said this, this week, it's two games and then they fall off a cliff every time. Yeah. I mean, Omar Cooper Jr. didn't even get close to the cliff. Like he wasn't even in the area of the cliff. He just, you know, zero targets today for him. He just woke up at the bottom of the cliff, like in the canyon or valley or whatever. Well, apparently whatever Gino and Garrett Wilson talked about in the show, was like, hey, Adonis, what have they been in the competition? So what happened? That was one game that I had on. One thing they were doing in that game was targeting Eric Stokes of the Raiders. I think he came in as an injury replacement. And they just went after him. And I'm assuming he didn't really line up on Omar Cooper Jr. because, you know, Cooper's in the slot a lot. So I think that we probably, we can watch the tape and find out. But I think that's what happened there. One of the reasons for it. But my gosh, man, zero targets for Omar Cooper Jr. And yeah, I asked people on Twitter, who should I start? Lad McConkey or Omar Cooper Jr. And two-thirds of you said Omar Cooper Jr. So not so easy. Is it okay? Anyway, Tuesday, we have something really exciting for you. And AMA on the bleacher, let me just hold on. Before I screw up this, let me, let me, uh, before I screw this up. Hardy did. Turn on fantasy, turn on your fantasy alerts on the Bleacher Report app. 'Cause at 11 a.m. Eastern, we are doing me, David and Jamie. Heath, I think we're going to get you on for a different one. But I know you have FFT Dynasty on Tuesdays. We are doing an AMA at 11 a.m. Eastern on the Bleacher Report app. So turn on your fantasy alerts. We're taking over. I'm really excited for this. This is going to be super cool. It's going to be over. Waverwire Q&A, I assume. AMA. It's a big Waverwire. I started doing my notes already. Yeah, it's, right. I mean, it's, it's a fun one for sure. I mean, I don't know which running back to, what spam night's injury, by the way? Concussion? Head. Yeah. Because it is worth mentioning that he absolutely dominated the snaps after Jeremiah loves injury and before his injury. Tyler Algier did basically nothing, barely played, but before the before BAM night left, just before half time. Now, the snap counts will change overnight. So maybe that looks different when they review it. But from what I saw, it was all Jeremiah 11, the first quarter. It was all BAM night in the second quarter. And then Tyler Algier had a really good game in the second half. I can tell you right now, because it ties in as the, uh, probably the number one running back is going to be the same guy mentioned last week, too. McGowan. McGowan gets Dallas this week and they're probably trained Taylor. I wanted to see, you know what? Now that we're on that subject, I forgot to look up the usage after they pulled Taylor. Of, uh, Giddens and McGowan. I gotcha. Yeah, because, you know, they had about the same amount of carries. Six for Giddens, five for McGowan. Don't know if we learn anything from that, but it could be a little bit of a thorn in the side. Uh, all right. Anywho, let me get to the news and notes, Lamar Jackson, Thal Minjury on his first pass attempts. Could be out for the season. We'll see he's definitely going to be on I always going to need surgery. Tyler Huntley, Tyler Huntley has turf toe and they do have, uh, they have the Thursday game, Heath, yep, they do against Jacksonville, um, Gardner, Minjury replace, per set and Anthony Richardson replaced Daniel Jones. Jeremiah Love left in the second quarter with an ankle injury. Zon of a night left with a head injury later in the second quarter. James Cook left briefly, but he came back braille and Allen limped off in the fourth quarter. I think he's fine. I haven't heard anything about that. What do you guys think is going to happen with the Jets running backs at this point? I'm sorry to ask this every week. But my gosh, uh, he's braille and Allen couldn't be playing much better right now. Yeah, I think it will be a heavy split. Well, first off, we'll see if Brie's soul is on the Jets the next time they play football. Um, but assuming that he is, I think it'll be a heavy split on rushing downs. And Brie's will be utilized heavily on passing downs and we may have a situation where Brie and Allen and Brie's soul are both RB twos or high inflexes. And I do want to point out because I, you know, I was going to wait to get to the game before we talked about this. But Brie and Allen credit to him. He's been, you know, one of the best waiver wire pickups in fantasy this year. I don't know what his roster percentage was in week four after all got hurt. But, you know, three of the last four games, more than 18 fantasy points. He's really had a great schedule. Yeah. Um, Chicago. That was the game. That good of a game, but they brand 32 plays or something Cleveland is a bad run defense. New England's not that good. Miami's not that good of a run defense. And then today, the Raiders, Miami's okay. Um, it's, they got a lot of tougher run defenses going forward. But they get teams that give up a lot of fantasy points, the running back. So I don't really know what to make of that. Um, so like you look at the next four opponents for the Jets are 31st, 23rd, 29th and 24th against running backs. But just against the run, they're not that bad. All right. A topic for another show. Sorry. Uh, let's see. DJ Moore. DJ Moore did leave with an injury. I haven't seen it multiple, multiple times. Yeah. He downplayed it after the game. So. Okay. Zachariah Branch left with a hamstring injury. Josh Palmer. I should have mentioned that with DJ Moore. Josh Palmer left in the first quarter and did not come back. Caleb Douglas came back in the game after leaving with an injury. Kendrick born left in the first half with an ankle injury. Michael Wilson left briefly. He came back and really was not having a good game yet. About 10 fantasy points until the last drive of the game. And then he ends up as one of the best wide receivers this week. They're at Seattle, then the Rams, then the chiefs in their next three games. Jake Ferguson, ankle, uh, Hunter Henry didn't make Hunter Henry history, Jamie. No, very disappointing. He was off to good start to three for 30 early in the game. Yeah, he left with an injury and Arizona, uh, Larry, uh, they're left tackle. Jayden Williams left with an knee injury, Detroit, Detroit. As they say and white men can jump sometimes when you win, you really lose their center left in the first half and on defense, holy cow, did the lions get beat up and they get Miami. Did we get an update on Jack Campbell resting at the hospital still being evaluated. Well, update in the morning was what the Lions sent up and the Jaguars also got really beat up in this game. They're right guard as Recleveland left and they lost two defensive tackle or two defensive lineman, Javan Walker, and they're, uh, they're big nose tackle probably for the season at least long term, uh, that is, uh, Dave on Hamilton left with a knee injury. That's a big one for them. Yes. And, you know, and for Tony Pollard, we're going to talk about as a winner. Heathies, one of your winners. He's got two games against the Jaguars in his next four or three game, but the schedule besides those two games is fantastic. And the Jaguars just lost probably their best runstuffers. So they're, uh, they're in the market for defensive lineman, whether it's a pass suppressor or a interior lineman or both, uh, in the case of Derek Brown, who's the guy that they're rumored to be looking at. So they're going to probably be very active at the deadline in the next week. All right. I'll give you a Tennessee got really beat up on defense too and they're going into their buy. Let's get into the post bounding performances brought to you by a whoop, the wearable device that gives you personalized insights into your sleep recovery, your strain and how daily choices may be influencing your overall well-being. Jamie and heath got their whoop on right now. And if you want to learn more, head to join dot whoop, w h o o p join dot whoop.com/fft. Heath, you got Tony Pollard. You also have Harold Fanon Jr. It's just like a head scratcher here, started in 53% of leagues, two big games in a row for Harold Fanon Jr. I think it's hard to know like what is the head scratcher? The way the Browns have employed Harold Fanon for half of this season or the way they used him in this game. I like the way they used him in this game. He's awesome. And it was good to see them recognize that I don't. I think he's kind of in that position right now where people are going to both be scared about starting him and be scared about sitting him. That he's probably a top 12, or tight end most weeks, and Tony Pollard's just awesome. Five touchdowns in his last two games. Any time that this offense can look anything close to competent, Tony Pollard's really good. I don't know. They'll be able to do that against Jacksonville after their buy. I don't know for sure that Tony Pollard will be on the Titans, but he's really good. So if he gets traded, that's great. If he doesn't, the Jacksonville games might be bad, but besides those games, you've got Dallas, Washington, Detroit, Colts, Raiders, Steelers. He, who would you rather have rest of season? Tony Pollard or Zayflowers? Zayflowers, they're going to go get a quarterback. Okay. Dave, he was a winner for you last week, and I was like, can I so high on Tony Pollard? I don't know. I still wonder if I should feel that way, because I just don't want to believe in the Titans offense. But what do you think about Pollard? I think you should at least hold on to him through the NFL trade deadline, and knowing that he could end up on a better team where he could get a workload that we've seen for the last couple of weeks with better offensive linemen, better offense around him, better opportunity. I think that you'll hold on to him for that reason specifically. And then if the NFL trade deadline passes, and he's still on the Titans, okay, then you could probably make a move. You won't be able to get quite as much, because it's not as sexy as, you know, if he's on the Broncos. And I don't even know if the Broncos earn the market for running back anymore, but you get my point anywhere as sexy or then Tennessee. The point I want to make on the Titans is they only have one game in their last three, seven. One game in their last seven, that's been a blowout. Everything else has been a one-score game. So they've been competitive, despite all the problems with their defense and trading away Jeffery Simmons and Cam War not playing great. They're finding ways to stay competitive, and that's usually a good thing for Tony Pollard. That's a good point. I feel like both like the Cardinals usually are competitive, the Dolphins usually competitive. The team that isn't is the chargers. Yeah, probably the Colts now. Yeah, the Colts are going to join them with the chargers, yeah. It's a strike against McGowan and DJ Giddens. So Jamie's got a couple of winners, Dave's got a couple of winners, we've got to take a little break when we come back. Rushi Rice and DJ Moore for Jamie, TJ Hawkinson and the aforementioned Joe and a Coleman for Dave, and then we'll get to our losers after this. Jamie, Rishi Rice, a winner for you, and he had a second touchdown call back at the end of the game on a fall star penalty that basically decided the game and DJ Moore, I will dispute it a little bit with DJ Moore, but go ahead with Rishi Rice. I'm curious how you're going to dispute DJ Moore as a winner, but I think the case for Rice is, I was very skeptical of him today, I think we all kind of were a little concerned about starting him, and right from the get go, it really heavily involved in the offense, and like you said, should have had a second touchdown there on the fall star at the end that could have won the game for the Chiefs. But this was not an easy match up, he has a terrible history against Denver, and I think If he's healthy and you see how much he means to catch him at home in the gym. Chiefs, my home's was awesome today as well, you know, at least fantasy wise. So I'm pretty confident that I'm going to start Rashi Rice most weeks going forward. The leagues that I have him and he's going to be at least the number two receiver. If not, borderline number one guy, as we see here. And in the case of DJ Moore, look, he big play down the field to kind of get the passing. I'm going a little bit caught the touchdown. They tried to give him the touchdown on that drive when he caught the, I forget how long it was. But when he caught the long pass, just having him back there, I think is just a huge weapon for Josh Allen. And again, we've seen him when he's on the field. He's been very productive and important for this bill's offense. I think that's going to continue. So just hope he's healthy 49 yarder. Yeah, I know. I think my only dispute was like I was got a little lucky with the 49 yarder. Even a great catch. And and then I think Dalton can get dropped a touchdown. I mean, dropped a ball on the play before DJ Moore's touchdown. I think he would have scored on it, would have been first in goal from maybe two if not. And then the next play DJ Moore got a touchdown. So I think we got a little lucky there. But don't think Kate is better with DJ Moore theory is gaining steam. Yeah. Yeah could be. All right, Kean, unfortunately, is just nonexistent. I just I think I would have liked to see a little bit more of a target share for for DJ Moore. But I'm not going to nitpick as 21% target share you'd like for like a true number one receiver. You'd like that to be closer to 25 or higher, but that's okay. It's one game. He's had two games this year with a massive target share. So it's nice to have him back. It's nice to have him back and you know, Minnesota, this upcoming week, that kind of sucks. But you know, other than that, it's all good. Well, no, he does have a tough schedule. I can't deny that. Like he's got the chiefs, he's got the Patriots, got the Vikings. He's got the Bears who've been grading his number one receivers. He's got the Broncos in the playoffs. He's got Miami twice. I think I've mentioned this maybe on Wednesday. But all the Patriots just blew that Miami myth out of the water, too. No, they didn't. Popped Douglas, big game. You three. That's the whole point. Like there's been two wide receivers, more than five targets or more than six targets against the dolphins all year. It's the first time that two of us here were scored touchdowns against the dolphins. Happened today. You know, what else he's got is Josh Allen. And as long as he's got him, I think that keeps him in play and fantasy. Sure. You could certainly make a case that DJ more is still high candidate right now because another injury that we might have to worry about coming off a strong game when he's been on the field. He's been productive, but the schedule stuff. So you can, you can try and sell. All right. Dave, you got TJ Hawkinson and Jonah Coleman. We talked about Coleman. How about Hawkinson? 13 or more PPR points and three of his past four games. The game he didn't do it in. He got concuss. So you kind of have to take that one away. It seems like he's Kyler's guy won a bunch of times on seam routes. So I don't know how many throws Kyler has down pat, but that's one he's got. And so I don't love the schedule moving forward for Hawkinson. He's got teams that have been good against tight ends, the Packers, the Niners, the Patriots, and then some other teams in the near future that are just okay, Hawkins, Panthers, and Bills. But I just like the fact that he and Kyler seem to have a connection going. And so as tight ends go, he should at least be in the conversation as a starter. And even though he doesn't always get six plus targets, I think he can certainly find games where he'll get them. All right. Thank you to Woop for sponsoring this week's Pulse Pounding Performances with Woop. You can better understand how your body is responding to the travel, training, late nights, the weather changes. He's speaking of Pulse Pounding. What is your heart rate during a game like the chiefs game, like, you know, moments like that? Oh, this time of year, it's pretty low. Like it's November. Okay. It wasn't like this was if the chiefs had been in the Broncos position, it probably would have been a little higher, but yeah, it was pretty low because I get a little worried about myself in these situations like I am, I can feel my heart beating out of my chests when I'm watching. No, the nice thing about the Woop is that I've been able to express to my family members like see when you stressed me out. I do the same thing with my kids. Yeah. There you go. Right. That's why you need the Woop. Users, Dave, Omar Cooper, Jr. no catchers, no targets, DK Metcalf, of course he had a bad drop that would have been a big gain, but even with that, it wouldn't have been that good of a game. One catch for four yards on six targets against Cleveland. And the Steelers offense is kind of weird these days, but they're six and two. Okay. Talk about Cooper and Metcalf. Not a lot to say about Cooper, just thinks that he didn't have any targets. This was a game where we already talked about it a little bit where I and I Mitchell just ended up wrecking the Raiders downfield. Maybe it's just the byproduct of playing the Raiders and knowing that they're past rush, not dominant. Their past defense hasn't been good all year long. And Mitchell was able to take advantage and he had some like near catches slash drops along the way before he finished with over 140 yards in a touchdown. Cara Wilson had his squeaky wheel game with 12 targets. I'm not sure what we do with Omar Cooper moving forward and that's part of the problem. That's why he's kind of a loser here. And DK had six targets, one catch. The Steelers look like they're much more of a running team. Raiders A dot on Sunday was 6.4 yards. That's his highest in four games. And it just doesn't feel like the downfield pass in game is even needed right now from Pittsburgh. So that's really the best way for Metcalf to contribute to this team because it really isn't hematone in the red zone and it's really not him otherwise on shorter throws. Steelers passing off and it just doesn't seem like it's where it was a month ago. Yeah, I think their their pass rate has been lower. You look at three of their last four games, Rodgers is at 31, 30 and 25 pass attempts. Those games have been against the Colts, the Saints and today against the Browns. I guess maybe if you could hope they start playing better offences, they'll have to throw more. After they're by at Sanati could be one Philadelphia, no Denver, no Houston, maybe Jacksonville, yes, Baltimore, probably not. It's kind of mixed, but I think mostly no, mostly kind of not great offences there. And now fantasy majors are going to have some tough decisions to make about what they do. I think they'll end up hanging on to DK Metcalf. I'm not sure if that's the best thing to do. But Jeremy Bernard, the tight ends, like where do you go with those guys, you're going to hang on to the running backs, obviously, or at least Warren, you absolutely will. But with the Steelers going into their buy, there's a lot of players on this team that have made their way on the fantasy rosters that probably are going to come off. If DK Metcalf were dropped, did you pick him up? Yeah, in a minute. If Omari, how many receivers am I, how many receivers am I starting? Two and, you know what, I'll say two in a flex. Yeah. Probably. Okay. I think I have really good receivers. Obviously I won't. What answer that could I have given you? You're starting to want two receivers, two receiver league, no flex. I don't know those. Eight teams, two receivers, no flex. They was leaving them on the way right, but no, to your point, the smaller leagues, you're definitely going to see DK Metcalf out there. And I wouldn't race to get him. Did you pick up Omari and Hampton when I drop him in the Super Flex League this Tuesday? He was Saturday on the team in Snapchat today. Would you say, Jamie? The sabotage drop? Yeah. I don't know. I mean, I might drop him at the pretty over it at this point as we all are. Okay. Let's go to Jamie's Losers, Parker Washington, one catch for 16 yards on two targets against the Colts with Trevor Lawrence having only 14 pass attempts. And George Pickens, two catches for 48 yards. He had a chunk play called back, but he had like 12.9 fantasy points called back. He's still a lizard. Okay. I'm confused. So I saw that he had a 59-yard touchdown called back, George Pickens. But then upon further investigation, it may have only been like a 35 yard catch because he may have been down at some point. Dave, can you help me here? Did we figure this out? Does it matter? He was down after 32 yards, but it was called back by a holding penalty. Okay. So it wasn't because I saw the same thing. They had a 59-yard touchdown called back and right. Right. It would have been a 32 yard reception. All right. Jamie, you can talk about Parker Washington and George Pickens. I think just for Washington, we're getting some down games. Not that that should be a surprise because he wasn't going to continue to be at the pace that he was at. But you just, you know, this is the guy that we were looking at. I was looking at as a consistent top 15 wide receiver and you're seeing just the evolution of this offense and Chevrolet Lawrence using other guys. And so you're still going to start Parker Washington, but it's kind of similar like Jaylen Coker and some of these other receivers that we've talked about recently. There's just not going to be, hey, they're going to consistently win weeks for you. Now again, that's in a week where Drake London was terrible and they flourished with terrible and I'm sure I'm missing. Omar Cooper was terrible. You know, so chalk it up to just maybe a tough week for wide receivers. But I just think you look at the, we're watching that. To me, he's a great by-law candidate and I think if you can get him cheap at this point because I think it's three of his last four games have been pretty disappointing. For Pickens, it's been a season of disappointments and another, not big game, but another quality game for Ryan Flenoy who catches a touchdown. And you're just seeing that Pickens. And again, disappointing, yes, leaving production on the field because of issues, but it's still lack of production for George Pickens consistently at this point. And so he still falls on the by-law category because you know what the potential is on the upside when he starts to play at a high level, but it's now eight weeks in, and he's had one week where he's played really at a high level, I think warming, maybe two. It's just been a very frustrating season so far for George Pickens. So just a continuation for him and just a recent stretch for Parker Washington, where their performances have been disappointing. And for Pickens, one of those big weeks, I think he's had two big weeks. One of them, CD Lamb got hurt in that game. That's true. Yeah. That was the box game, I believe. Mm-hmm. That's the one. And so this is a team that two weeks ago, Brian Shottonheimer was saying, we got, we got to run the ball more. And Dak Prescott in the last two games, including an overtime game today, fewer than 30 pass attempts. And I think based on the early snap count that I saw, Ryan Flinoy played more snaps in George Pickens today. He's getting about the same amount of targets each week. I'm glad you mentioned him, because I'm, you know, disappointed. No doubt in George Pickens, I think a lot of people are. But I feel like it's like Chase Brown. It's like, what the hell am I going to do? I'm not sitting George Pickens. I suppose in some scenarios I could, but I think he's going to be started in over 80% of leagues next week. He's 95% this week, right? I mean, it's hard to sit him. I mean, playing the colts, it could just be another run game for them. Yeah. Heath, you got Ashton Gentie and Zay Flowers. So Gentie we're about to talk about. I haven't forgotten the Colts, the Falcons Bucks game. And Baker may feel not completing a single pass all day and yet still outscoring Michael Penex Jr. So we will get that. It's insane. That's amazing. But Heath, Ashton Gentie 93% started. He had five touches. What do we do here? The incredible thing is he had five touches. Mike Washington had 25 touches and Ashton Gentie scored more fantasy points. This is a disaster and I think you hope that the fact that Mike Washington was also inefficient as a rusher and a lead role leads to something more balanced. But there's no doubt he's a loser. It's like so far this season, he's been a really bad rusher. But the volume and especially in the passing game was so good that he's still a borderline top 12 running back. And now I think we'll put him down in that low end RB2 range where you're just kind of hoping and sometimes those hopes turn into good starts and sometimes those hopes turn into disasters. And that's kind of where Ashton Gentie is right now. Okay. Would you rather have Ashton Gentie or Jonah Coleman rest of season? No. I'm going to take Gentie. Me too. Amazing that we had to think about that, right? Someone's asking in the chat, Chase Brown or Gentie? Brown. Probably. Probably a long touchdown, about 30 yard or call back. Call back. Yeah. Yeah. I'll go back to I referenced it quite a bit. Our colleague, former GM, Rand Carthon, what's the name of the podcast on Butchered? With the first pick. With the first pick. The podcast said that Mike Washington is a better fit running the ball for this offense than Ashton Gentie. He said that preseason. So like I believe that and it seems like true objectively at this point. I kind of feel like if you take a job with the team that just drafted a, Jenny's still very talented in space. He showed that today. Yeah. And if you take a job with a team that just drafted this guy early in the first round, like, you should probably just run the system that he's best at. I don't know, man. Like, you're going to run your system, right? You're clink. Well, it didn't work with Mike Washington. I know they won the game, but he just kept getting stuff at the goal line. You know, what did he have? He had 25 carries for 83 yard. Okay, it's pretty bad. It's pretty bad. I think you feel you, you hope that he can adapt to your system. And we see this all the time with coaches versus, you know, star players or the potential of star players. It's just, you know, he's going to like, like he said, he's going to, when he said, he's going to run the system that he wants to run and, you know, hope that Jenny can make plays out of it. I just, this doesn't make sense why he was benched that, you know, some people are saying because of what he said in the media. I don't know. I don't think he was that. I mean, I happened to Sam LaPorta. Did it? I guess. Did it happen again to Sam LaPorta? I mean, I don't know. No, I mean, I think it's just like, they're taking the jury Jones route. Oh, you don't, you don't like what, you don't like what you're being paid? We have a tweet here from Sam Gordon at, you know, with, uh, Clint Kubiak's press conference and saying that Clint Kubiak said it was his call. That Ash and Jenny, you know, didn't really get a lot of work. And quote, genty's quote, still going to be a big part of our team. And then he was asked if the limited workload had anything to do with the midweek comments in the media where genty said that jets have some guys who look like they don't want to tackle. And Kubiak said, it did not have anything to do with that for what it's worth. Right? You know, question I had about this game, Dave, is like, do you think we should be looking to sell Brock Bowers in the anticipation of Fernando Mendoza at some point getting this? Because, I mean, causes played great today. He's not going to get, he's not going to get benched because of performance at this point. You don't think, but it could happen anyway. They won. I know. But eventually, I mean, they're not, they're, I, I would, I would think, and I don't know the exact opponents. They have some pretty tough games coming up and their buy is week 11. It's 13 week 13. So you want to throw Mendoza in there before that? No, it's a, it's a, it's a weird thing because if they can win even one of the next three, but definitely two of the next four, I mean, one of the next four, but definitely two of the next four. They've got three gimmies after their buy against the Cardinals Titans and Chargers. They are the cowboys like a word about the game. The Raiders do not have any gimmies like, oh, those are 100% gimmies. I know they're four and four, the Cardinals have beaten the Rams and the Cowboys on the road this year. Okay. And now they have Gardner Benchew. Come on. No, there's no gimmies. I don't think this seems got any gimmies in them. They have a horrible defense, but they, their next three games are the Niners, Seahawks and Broncos. All right. Well, yeah, I think that's the first game we're talking about. Lowline work. I don't know if there was, you know, Pittsburgh is going to use both guys. Minnesota had Aaron Jones in at the one yard line and may have been in the hurry up. Kyle Murray threw a touchdown at Justin Jefferson on that play. What a catch. And you know, Las Vegas was just Mike Washington for the most part, but Jenny mixed in there a little bit. Then not a ton of goal line stuff. A lot of almost touchdowns today. Garrett Wilson had an almost touchdown. G. Rice had one called back on a penalty, Khalil Shakir had one overturned. Justin Jefferson was open in the end zone. Almost had a second touchdown, but Kyle Murray over. Oh, actually, you know what? I'm wrong. It was the same possession. He overthrew him and then came back to him for the touchdown. I mentioned Chase Brown had a long touchdown catch call back. Keon Coleman almost had a deep ball touchdown. He was wide open in Josh Allen, missed them. That would have been a huge play. Denzel Boston had an almost touchdown. Michael Wilson came up a yard short of a touchdown. Eric Henry had one called back on a hold, um, Bucky Erdogan fumbled going into the end zone. Go ahead. Kenneth Walker got stuffed again. Mm-hmm. Maybe a cream hunt time. Mike Washington got stuff. Oh, lots. Uh, let's see, Dalton can, I mentioned that Dalton can take a drop and I thought would have been a touchdown. DK Meck, I've dropped a deep ball. I'm both Jeremiah Love, and Tyler, I would sure got stuffed at the one yard line. I think we, wait, did we take our second break? I don't even remember. I think we did. Uh, now we haven't yet. And we haven't. Okay, let's take our second break and we'll get through all the games starting with the shootout, the jets and the Raiders after this. Man, we missed our any buy window on Basial Tutan. You can't get him now. Oh my God. You tried. You tried. I tried my hardest. You kept offering the wrong Jets runny back. I offered you. [BLANK_AUDIO] Offered both not to me then well, you don't have them. No, you offered me for the Andre Swift You only offered me Brie's hall. I thought I offered you Brie's hall and something I don't know if you Brie's you're in love, but if you go to offer both jets running backs, I might consider it. Okay. No, I offered Heath Both jets running backs for Bazel Tutten heath wisely rejected And we go to this game here with Braille and Allen having a nice day and the quarterbacks are really good today Trade Talker was really bad. I mean trade talker. She's 84% started one target. I tell you earlier today I think that theory is true Which is what oh the mayor thing like mayor and and trade talker will not play well on the same day It's very possible But they already did what did once they did once they did not twice Okay, and then Unfortunately like Jalen nailer had a good game four catches 38 yards and a touchdown For nailer. So we've actually spoken quite a bit about this game. Dave anything you want to say are you going to pick up at an i Mitchell you think I think if I needed a biweek replacement receiver He would come into the conversation. I don't know if he's going to necessarily be the number one guy that I would have had Don't like that. He's got the chief's necks, but in week 10 it's Buffalo Chargers after that. Miami after that. So there are some games coming up where you can feel kind of good about this jets offense Man, I wish, you know, we're just a little more accurate and had a little bit more power on his deep balls because Not every single one of them and it's not just this week. It's previous weeks too Not every single one of them look good. I thought I'd look up what the snap counts were for breeze and braille and from earlier this year In week one it was breeze 60 40 over braille and Allen, but braille and Allen handled 75% of the third downs Week two is breeze 65% braille and 30% and again braille and Allen 10 of 19 on third downs So I wonder if that could be what their roles go back to Maybe with a little bit more splitting on running downs because how do the jets get away from how braille and Allen has played Over the last couple of weeks. So it kind of sucks because we'd like to have one great jets running back And now we're going to have two jets running backs taking away from each other and It's going to be really hard to figure out which one we're going to want at least at the jump Maybe after a game or two that maybe listen some of those matchups coming up are great Maybe some of those matchups will want both of those guys But for now you kind of you know, I don't know which one of you guys were talking about breeze may be getting traded I think fancy managers would love that see breeze go to Minnesota as an example And so braille and keeps the job in New York breeze becomes the stud for the Vikings. They both end up being really good But I don't know how much of that is tethered to reality at this point And speaking of Minnesota Detroit 19 Minnesota 15 Thomas Schaefer leaves in the Vikings are now windless in the post-Shaefer FFT era The Lions had the ball for almost 36 minutes in this game And one of the big plays in this game that really changed things for fantasy was I'm on Ross Saint Brown having a touchdown overturned You know, it's it's not a great game for Jared golf with that play and And who knows maybe he doesn't even throw the touchdown at James and Williams at the end But for a team that gave up four touchdown passes in their previous 14 games They almost gave up two today. They ended up giving up one So we can move you know look nothing that happens bad game for Jared golf what happens against the Vikings stays and against the Vikings On the other side of the ball Jamie any takeaways from the From Minnesota with Kyler's Kyler scored 23.9 fantasy points And he led the team in rushing that wasn't bad and then Jefferson was lucky to get the touchdown I mean watching Kyler play is rough like he holds the ball holds the ball holds the ball Like there's so many opportunities where he's throwing and you could see Jesse Jefferson is obviously frustrated at this point Nice down throw down the field to Jordan Addison. So I give him credit for that Hawkinson another strong game. So that's clearly the guy that he's leaning on the most now So three of the last four games for Hawkinson and the fourth one being one that he left early with a concussion He's had I think it's now 13 or more PPR points So he's been very consistent and obviously is they've alluded to a winner coming off of Of this game, but he also had the best matchup of the table. So just keep that in mind I think which with this this offense You're still going to start Jefferson. I had him. I think it's a loser last week from not mistaken um And was very concerned about the production like you said you got lucky with the touchdown here He just misses Jefferson Jefferson's open all the time and he just does not throw it to him I don't understand it. So Still a borderline number one number two receive a high end number two receiver Really the concern is this run game I think with both guys being healthy you can't start either one is anything more than a flex like we got excited about Mason Because we thought Jones gonna miss this game with a knee injury ends up practicing Thursday and playing in this game. I thought he looked decent Um on a couple of his runs But it's just there's too much competition here, especially against the the lines still have a good run defense Did you guys catch Jefferson Really meft on the sideline. Yes. I won't point this game. You were refused to talk after the game Yeah, yeah, that was so that's one problem and so the Vikings are gonna have to figure that out Three different guys. I'm in a soda had at least 28% of the snaps among the running backs It wasn't just Jones and Mason. DJ Dallas got involved He had nine of 10 snaps on third down. So that's taking opportunities away from these running backs It's frustrating. It's weird that they're going with three guys instead of two And that's part of the reason why we didn't get a even like a remotely good game for many of these running backs I would I would hope if they trade four tailor breeze hall Tony Pollard whoever if they do make that move that they send Would most likely be Mason send them to the team that they trade for So that one of these guys gets an opportunity maybe on a different team to still be productive because if they stay with the the group that they have and then they just put somebody better at the front of it Like it's just gonna be annoying. Okay, I yeah, I think it's important to know that when when when Mason or Jones Has had the the show to himself whether it be decent last year right these are not bad running backs here So it's just it is too much of a time share especially great point Dave with the third down stuff Okay, yeah, it'll it would be Mason by the way his contract voids after this year. I don't think I I don't think I should skip Sam LaPorta Three catches for 33 yards on five times the lion's dead I mean, this is just like this is just the life of a tight end unless you're You know and problems back to back weeks though. I know, but it like Look Travis Kelsey had a lot of targets today. I mean this look at we talked about Harold Fanon at the start of the show or earlier in the show Right? I mean like I'd be buying Sam LaPorta big time right now. He's gonna have great. This is Sam LaPorta This always happens with Sam LaPorta. The problem the big problem was it's like 25 pacitons Like he had a 20% target share, which is what he was at before the buy when he was awesome But it was 25 passes and now they put it alphans this week. They'll probably throw 25 passes So hope he scores attention. Oh, they can't cover. They're so bad against that answer Well, I mean, do you guys agree about buying LaPorta? Oh, absolutely. Sure Now since I think just the one thing I would disagree with is like LaPorta was drafted to be a week in week out consistent contributor not Do I question starting him and I think there's some people questioning starting him But I'm not questioning starting him. I know you're not, but people see production and they see lack of it And they're gonna question starting him. I mean, yeah, he was started in 77% of least at low for where he was drafted I agree. I completely agree. I think a lot of that was in Minnesota matchup, but Sure, hopefully people will have more confidence next week against the dolphins You know, there's a question. I'll you can be honest with me if you guys agree with it But someone said can we stop with the Can we scrap the almost touchdown segment? It means nothing and doesn't matter And my opinion is it's just it's just kind of interesting to know how How your fantasy out how your fantasy game could have changed if one thing had gone a certain way I mean again like Dalton concave drops that pass next play a DJ more gets a touchdown And sometimes it's important to know that guys were pretty close to having a big game And they just got a little unlucky or they were pretty close having a terrible game and they had a touchdown That's why I bring it up. You say segment. It's Literally a minute of you just reading stuff that all happened. We don't we don't sit and break it down Right Let's watch the tape on the almost such a high Pittsburgh 26 cleave 27 Cleveland 6 Oh, uh Judkins bad 72% started 11 carriers for 25 yards and I think This is it right when he faces a tough run defense The rushing averages have been horrible and he needs The the good receiving totals and he hasn't gotten them with Dylan Samson healthy By the way, Samson had eight targets in this game. Five of them came in the last five minutes of the game But maybe next week at New Orleans could be a start for quench on Judkins. Uh, Dave. What do you think? Yeah, I mean, it's a better matchup against the Saints they uh They should be able to move the ball on the ground there. The offensive line. I thought I didn't see enough of it to know for sure But I thought the offensive line was way, way worse this week and it's almost like Everything that happened to the Browns last week was more about the Titans defense messing up than it was with the Browns Did right and you look at conception like the targets were to have her conception as numbers were bad Same thing with Judkins those were two guys that you know We a lot of people gravitated toward I gravitated toward Judkins for sure But this week it didn't happen tougher defense. That's part of the game. Maybe it goes back the other way against New Orleans Man Pittsburgh's defense is playing great right now last three games. They've allowed 19 points to the box Played an overtime in that one ten points to the Saints six points to the Browns not the toughest offense is Jalen Daniels led bucks, but the defense is playing great. Okay, how would you rank the four main wide receivers in this game, rest of season, heath? - DK Bernard, Concepcion, Boston. - Anyone disagree? - I'd flip the Browns receivers. - I would make the case that Roman Wilson will be back at some point, Michael Pittman will be back at some point, and Jeremy Bernard might-- - Michael Pittman doesn't matter. - I don't know about that. For Jeremy Bernard, he doesn't matter. I mean, he may not matter. I don't know. Okay. Okay. Bye. Well, let's go to our next game. - I'm not sure any of them are gonna matter the way the Rogers is playing these days. - Do I know what I said might matter? - I wish he would, just-- - He's fun. - Never any consistency with his routes. Some weeks-- - Nope. - Run in half, 60%, some weeks run in 20%. - What did you say before about Laporta? Is production? - I don't know. This is Tyden. - This is Tyden. - I mean, listen, Rogers likes him. - I love him, I mean, he's one of the most fun players in the game. - Well, of course. - Yeah, it's like a left tackle rumbling down the field. - Well, Dave, I wanna congratulate you as future Adam. You nailed the game of the week. Arizona 33 Dallas 30. So I'll let you give any major takeaways from this one. Jamie talked about George Pickens earlier, anything else? - We should probably talk about Jeremiah Love and how frustrating he has been in the fact that he got hurt again. Probably means that he's gonna miss more time and just maybe not have a chance until at best, the end of the season, to like, I don't know, survive three quarters of a football game and maybe touch the ball 10 times. It's a mess. And we don't know if Michael Wilson's gonna be ready to go for their next game. He's got some cracked ribs, but at least he came through for a big game for fantasy managers and this is the time to trade him away because the matchups are gonna get harder. If you hung on to him, that's great. You got a good game out of him. Do not expect to get a ton of trade form moving forward. Menshu coming into play is always fun, but we know that Menshu, like two weeks from now, is gonna just absolutely lay an egg. And I'm not saying that just because the schedule is gonna be bad for Arizona, but because that's what Menshu does. Is that he comes in, he provides a spark and then eight quarters later, the spark is out. So I'm sorry to be a downer on the Cardinals, but it is the Cardinals. It's nice that they came through with a win against Dallas and probably should just talk about the Cowboys at this point. - The only thing I would push back on is, like Jacobi Berset for the last two years has been in about the most fantasy friendly situation a quarterback could be in. It's like you have this elite tied in and trademarked bride. You have decent wide receivers and you're always down by two scores in the second half. So you get to throw 40 times a game. And I do think that's something Gardner Menshu can do successfully for fantasy. Like they're not going to win games, although he did it today. And I think he can be as good as Jacobi Berset has been and a guy that we want to start in matchups that look like shootouts. - I think the more important thing is is he good or bad for Michael Wilson and Tramock bride. - He's good. - He's the same. - He can't be worse than Berset. Berset's been awful this year. Like I know it's been okay fantasy wise, but he's been not as good as he was last year. - He's been terrible. And I don't know how great the offense is. When you don't have, you know, we talked about this a little bit, the field stretcher and Marvin Harrison. You know, so things are very condensed. It was going to open up this week because Dallas, not bad Dallas is. So yes, you got to worry about the schedule. Yes, David's right. You should sell high on Michael Wilson. Yes, he's right. The Gardner Menshu is going to perform very similar to Jacobi Berset. I think they're all, everything is accurate here. So like, you shouldn't be concerned to your point at to your question. You shouldn't be concerned about Michael Wilson or Tramock bride because of Gardner Menshu. Gardner Menshu is Jacobi Berset. Like they're the same type of player. It's going to be the same type of situation. And you just saw it happen and fold right in front of your eyes. Everything that Gardner Menshu did was trailing, late in game, hurry up, go throw, can't run the ball. I know, I'll do your head a couple of big runs. They still can't run the ball. They're terrible. So it's going to be a lot of this scenario. It's just the matchups are going to get a lot more challenging. So don't expect to have great production from these guys. Don't expect them to be league winners. Don't expect them to save your fantasy season. But if you're desperate, Gardner Menshu is right there. He's going to be in these type of games all the time. I mean, I would expect it from McBride. I think he's pretty much locked in. And one other thing on Wilson is if the rib fractures end up being something that sidelines him, then of course, he can't trade him, then he's just sitting on your bench. Yeah. And if he's out, it's Kendrick Warren. That's the guy you go get. Well, he had a high ankle sprain. He's not. No, no, he's healthy. Same thing. He's not. High ankle sprain for Kendrick Warren. That's what I saw. Okay. All right. And then for the Cowboys, you know, not a good game for Javante Williams. But that's okay. It's surprising. But we'll go back to him. I'm sure. And CDLAM is great. Ryan Flynnoy is definitely going to be a topic on the waiver wire show. Sorry to shortchange it. Um, how many quilts are you starting next week against the Dallas defense? Yeah. Against the Dallas. I mean, only one. If he's still there, too, I guess Warren and, uh, and Taylor, if he's still there, that's it. Maybe key now in the throes. He really, I'm not quite excited about the calls. They stink. Yeah. Tampa Bay 16 Atlanta zero. This was a. What a game. Yeah. This is. Literally total mess. This game was the poster child for playing dumb. The first time since before anyone on this show was born, that a team won a game without completing a pass. What was the year? 1974. Yeah. Wow. We were like, as old as we are, you are none of us were born. I'm the second youngest guy on this show. Yeah. But I'll be against. I can't even grow a beard. You're immature. Yeah. I don't really think they're really any major takeaways from this. Oh, I think there's one that is literally could not hold the ball. He couldn't throw. He couldn't throw the ball. It was. It wasn't even raining that much in the second half. No, it stopped in the second half. He had four interceptions and then there were like three other passes that were, that were like, should have been picked off. I know we don't do almost interceptions, but Michael Penex would have headlined that segment pretty easily. Did you like to relitigate the beach on Robins and segments from last week at a time? I want to say that you're an idiot for ranking Chris Goblin in the top 36. I do think there's something that the three pass attempts is obviously L.O.L. But he threw 11 last week. Yeah. Like, I'm not sure. I'm going to be excited about America bouquet even if he can play. Well, last week was a 43 to 13 win. Yeah. I mean, these are, they just literally won the exact same way, two games in a row with next two games. There's Chicago into trade. Yeah. They're not going to be able to win. I listen. Maybe their defense is just way, way, way better than anybody's giving them credit for it, but I'd be shocked if they won another game like this where they just run the ball straight down the road. Goblin at a 33% target share and deal he did come into the year, but he's to your point. I think it's pretty clear they're going to want to run the ball. It's going to be, you know, so Bucky Irvings amazing now on the other side of it, Dave. Yes. They're the best team in the division. Beige Robinson. Yeah. What a division. Beige on Robinson with his fourth straight disappointing game. Yeah. And okay. Let's re-litigate it. Although I never was arguing against it, I was just saying like people, his managers are disappointed. This, I mean, if anyone's selling, this has got to be the most obvious bilo in the world, right? Yes. Yes. Okay. But don't expect it to happen. You're still going to have to pay. I'm going to go ahead and claim that for Wednesday's show if it's okay. Yeah. He's all yours. Thanks. Where would you, if you were redrafting today, where would you draft Beige on Robinson? I'd still be tempted to take him in round one, obviously. I don't know if I would take him as in top five. He would be behind Puka, Jayson, Chase. Yep. And Kendrick? Well, it's all for five at the end of the line. Two weeks. I don't know how you take him over Kenneth Walker who's been fantastic. He'd be a fifth of the absolute highest. Okay. Um, yeah. We got a comment from that from Frank. Would you sell Ken Walker for Beige on Robinson? Emmett Johnson arrived today. Yeah. I don't know if Emmett Johnson arrived today with great performance, but more currently has the, uh, the chief season high and receiving yards in a game. Emmett Johnson. Really? This is terrible. Yeah. 128 yards today. By the way, Kenneth came. We'll have 25 carries. 17 of them came in the fourth quarter. Bucky Irving only had one in the fourth quarter. I mean, every time I looked up, Bucky Irving was like seven yards of carry. Yeah. He's amazing. Yeah. He was fantastic. Well, the Falcon's defense stump too. Buffalo 36, Baltimore 10, Buffalo. I mean, was this really 36 to 10 that the final score? Because this was this weird game where the Ravens were somehow in it for a long time. Yeah. And then it's steamrolled in the fourth quarter. 36. Right. Uh, yeah. Ravens earned some trouble here. Yeah. I mean, their third string quarterback was not good, but the, but the bills kept let it keeping them in the game. It was like, how is this still a game? Oh, the bills offense was bad for most of the game. Yeah. And Josh Allen ends up with a, with more than 30 fantasy points. Of course. So we talked about Zae Flowers. And who would you rather have rest of season, Derek Henry or Zay flowers? Still flowers. Yeah, I think I'd say five hours, I'm, I'm, I'm really worried about Henry. Me too. Yeah, go on. I mean, I know why, but why the rushing average sucks when Lamar's not there. That was kind of the case for part of last year, too. He's not a pass catching running back. He's better when they win. They're not going to win anymore. I think it really comes down to what they do, what they have a quarterback. And if they, I can tell you, don't forget Jacksonville guy going, are they playing in Jacksonville? No, it's in Baltimore. Oh, I never, what we're going to say, he's going back home. Yeah, he always kills the Jaguar. Yeah, but he's, he's going to have a hard time doing it this week. Short week, no, four to back, they're playing this week. Yeah, the defense is played 72 snaps, I believe today. 76, excuse me. This is a, this is a tough spot for the Ravens. I don't, I don't think they'll score next week. What's your interest in Khalil Shakir, 57% roster? He had five catches for 64 yards. And it almost touched him, and it almost touched him. There's only two teams on a buy next week, right? Khalil Shakir is 11 PPR for his four straight games, like this is what you're getting. He's, he's Buffalo Malik. Yep. I think actually Malik is Miami Khalil. Okay, sure. He was doing it first. Yeah, big, big distinction there. Okay, next game. Oh, no, wait, real quick. Sorry, you can throw the stats back up. How much do you trust Dalton can cater on a weekly basis on it? On the trustometer on a scale of one to 10, zero to 10. Five will be tied in 10. Yeah, I'm going to say four or five, like I'm not ready to rush right back into his arms and say that he's my must start tight end. You can't have that answer, Jane. Oh, wait, they play Minnesota next week. Yeah, yeah, it's going to be probably a one next week and five after that. Jamie, I say on a scale of zero to 10, how much do you trust them? You say he's tight, he's going to be tight in 10. You said the number 10 AI would be so confused right now. If it were transcribing, I mean, so is AI trying to make Keith happy. I'm trying to make Keith happy by screwing up AI. Since today, 43, 10 is see 36 over time thriller. And Cam Ward had a great game, 30 fantasy points. I don't think he really did. He looked good at times. He looked completely lost the couple of times. But this is the best he played in a long, long time. The broadcast had a really good note. Like in the fourth quarter of games and granted some of this is garbage time. His metrics are back that you listen to the broadcast and this game is amazing. So this is the game you watch on mute. No, I saw it on the screen. Oh, okay. And Robert Turban does the broadcast. Oh, okay. I think we actually had it. We actually had it on in the room for a little bit. What did they say? That Cam Ward in the fourth quarter has much improved metrics compared to the first three quarters. Look, man. Like if he could be present probably. Yeah. Listen, it's probably a garbage time staff, for sure. But if he keeps playing well, we already talked about the Titans or at least staying in games. Maybe there's something to ward. Maybe he'll have some matchups toward the end of the season where we'll be like, all right. Maybe we, now I can't even say the word. He's he's the schedule Dallas, I know, I know, Colts, Raiders, got some great games. I he really has to prove it, though. Like I get that he had a great game today against Cincinnati. And we should probably, we should probably to write and we should probably talk about that. Bengals defense and whether or not that's a tough matchup anymore. Cause it's clearly not. It's Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Rudd. Yeah, like every time we think they're good, they're, they're bad. And every time we think they're bad, they're good. I think they lost three starters on their defense in the second half, including DJ Turner, who I talk about every day of my life. They lost who did he shot or today? I don't think he shot or anyone. I think he shot a car and I'll take a shot down card, I'll take it today. Cedric Johnson and Cassius Howell and DJ Turner all left in the second half. They got out of Atlanta next week on the Cincinnati side of the ball. I think someone wanted us to talk about T Higgins. Like T Higgins has always been a great, you know, a very good receiver. He's never been this good. Who has more fantasy points this season? T Higgins or Pukinakua? Oh, Higgins. Yeah, it's got to be because Pukin missed two games, didn't he? Total fantasy points, not per game. Total Higgins, Higgins has one more point to that. I thought you're going to say who's averaging more per game between Higgins and Chase. The bangles really need to stop trying to run early in the game and just throw the ball from the jump. Because when they throw the ball, they're unstoppable. Yep. So would you rather have T Higgins or Derek Henry rest of season? Higgins, T Higgins, T Higgins are Justin Jefferson. T Higgins, Higgins. Jamie, Cleans, we okay, all right. Jacksonville 42 Indian app, Chase Brown, we got me, we got to talk about Chase Brown, man. Go ahead, go ahead, Jamie, Chase Brown with, uh, we got his stat line for you. 12 carries 55 yards, but thank goodness for PPR Lee's, he had eight catches for 46 yards. Usage was great again. And yes, like you said, should have had a touch on why in the world would you want Chase Brown a because of games like this? Yeah, I mean, he's dominating snaps for a team that just scored 36 points in regulation. And he ran the ball. Okay, I mean, the average was pretty good until the end of the game. Yeah, like, okay, it's been disappointing, but he just, he scored, I think he has one touchdown this year. I think you're right. So we got to get that going. Jacksonville 42 Indianapolis 7, Jamie talked about Parker Washington. I think we spent enough time in the Colts. Obviously, Josh Downs caught a touchdown today when no one wanted to play him. 19% started. Tyler Warren had 10 targets. You can at least be encouraged by that terrible game. We'll see what happens at the quarterback. I mean, if anything, Richardson takes over, then I don't think I'm going to want to start anyone other than Taylor. Trevor Lawrence, Jamie Gray call 87% started. He only scored 25.4 fantasy points, but he was, I mean, not only, but he was, you know, so good. On 14 pass attempts. So this team is really good. And yeah, I mean, I think, I don't know. There's any big takeaways here. Nobody on the team had more than three targets. Basial Tutans phenomenal. And I wouldn't panic about Washington just yet. I wouldn't panic about Brent Strange just yet. I think you see that they could still be great. The Jags DST is going to be a league winner if they get this Ravens office on Thursday again. And then I was just to make it to Titans also. You see their next four games, Ravens Titans, Giants Titans. Yeah, don't, don't give up on them. Yeah. Don't give up on them. DJ Giddens led the Colts and snaps after Jonathan Taylor left in the fourth quarter is basically the entire fourth quarter. Giddens eight snaps, McGowan five snaps. It's I think anything that happens for the Colts that does not bring a running back, back in return. So let's just say it's Minnesota and they don't get one of the backs back or the Giants, whatever, whoever, whoever takes on Taylor. If it's McGowan and Giants, it's going to be split. No one is telling you to pick up either of these guys to say they're going to save your fantasy team. These are flex options at best, but they're going to be given opportunities to have a workload that hopefully could lead to 10, 11 PPR points consistently. And if you're getting that, that's great. And it's not bad that they averaged in the first half Taylor average four point four yards per carry McGowan average four yards per carry. This is Indy's first game without Quentin Nelson at left guard. And so I actually look at that as a small positive for a newapolis that they were able to be moderately efficient running the ball without Nelson. But don't you think that do you think that maybe they were running against the backups for the Jaguars at that point in the first half of the game? No, I thought you said McGowan and because Hamilton got her early. Yeah, sure. So he was out and that might have helped a little bit to let's go to what has to be one of the worst movies ever. Even though I've never seen it battle Los Angeles Rams 24 Chargers nine note here lad Maconkey. If you're just seeing the box score, you might be like, damn 86 yards. That's awesome. At a 54 yard completely lucky catch on a deflected Hail Mary and he almost scored a touchdown. Almost scored a touchdown. Yeah, yeah, other than that, I mean, what's subtract 54 yards other than that. Josh doesn't hurt her for 203 yards, which which isn't like God awful, but it ain't but those interceptions weren't just full. No, I always playing so hard against him. I just don't it's not fair. So any any any positives here for the Chargers one step closer to Jeremiah Smith. RJ RJ White said if I'm not mistaken, Dave was there the last time for the last two times that the Chargers have started. Oh, and six. They've actually gone to 11, both times. Wow, this is crazy. I mean, December 27th, circle it on the calendar. Chiefs game. No, Chargers dolphins in South Florida. I'm going to make it up. I'd you want to make a bet on the on the game right now, Adam. I'll take the dolphins. No, I'll take it to dolphins. Okay. All right. So a couple of things here, Matthew Stafford, bad game, 10.3 fantasy points, any concerns there. And Blake Korum, four straight games with at least 14 PPR fantasy points, four straight games of the touchdown. Yeah, it's been cool by in it or selling it. He's he's a very good flex. Great flex. If Kyron Williams got hurt, he would be probably first round pick like it'd probably be as good as Kyron Williams has been this year. You know what? Kyron Williams be a Blake Warham got hurt. Yeah. Right. Either way. All right. I think I think if I saw in the broadcast crowd, he's a six game this season that they both scored touchdown. It's a Russian. It's amazing. A Russian test. It's especially amazing because Kyron had almost 70% of the snaps. And he played a lot in the fourth quarter. But this was the first time where there had been a Rams blowout game. And Korum didn't split reps in the second half 50/50. Why don't you go ahead and look up the first quarter numbers as I think it was mostly Korum. I think they had three in outs on the first two Kyron drives because that's what Lucas was saying to me was like, uh, Korum has like three times as many carries as Kyron Williams. And it's because the Korum drives worked and the Kyron drives didn't. By the way, Lucas is heath's assistant. Get some call. Yes. Yes. He's an assistant who has a fantasy team that started Lamar Jackson, Jeremiah Love and Ashton Gentry today. So we were about 20 minutes into the early games and he went upstairs and didn't watch any more football with me today. Kyron had seven of nine snaps in the first quarter, second quarter. It was still a lot of. A lot of. He had a lot of more carries though. Korum had more. And congratulations to the Rams and Jargers. They now have more combined wins in their home stadium than the Cardinals do. Hey. All right. Can you name Chief, Chiefs and Broncos here Broncos with the dramatic 28, 24 win? Can you name the two quarterbacks who have scored the most points against the Broncos this year? Badger Realms. And? Badger Realms. Correct. You scored about 30 points, about 26 points against 31 points and 26 points roughly against the Broncos this year. So nicely done. And he was only started in 35% of leagues. Do we have any Ken Walker concerns here, 21 carries, four catches, but not a very good game after a terrible game last week? Bylow. All right. Next three games, Jets, Falcons, Cardinals, bills after that. Love it. Let's go. Uh, we talked about Rishi Rice earlier, Travis Kelsey had a nice bounce back game, five catches for 67 yards. And he had a bad drop. Um, but one thing I want to point out about Kelsey and this is a trend over the last three years now is they just like Noah Gray had a touchdown today. This used to be patchable homes as guy near the goal line. But so far on the year, Travis Kelsey has three red zone targets, zero green zone targets, which is the 10 yard line and in and two end zone targets. And it is a continuing trend for Travis Kelsey. He also limped off the field at one point. Thankfully, he was okay. He did. He's been battling an ankle injury for the last two weeks. He said before the game that he was, uh, it wasn't going to keep him out of the game, that he wasn't going to be 100% and that might just be the case for a little while. Hopefully it doesn't give him trouble, trouble, trouble. Um, bone X, I thought that he was kind of fluke to get to 28 fantasy points in week seven against Arizona. I thought that this was a much, much, much better game for him, um, getting to 23.3. It's starting to look like this offense is resembling like an actual NFL offense now. Mm hmm. Yeah. I felt the same way. I feel like the, I don't know. I'm watching. I felt like the line played pretty well today. Mm hmm. Yep. Um, all right. Good stuff. Jalen Waddle scored a touchdown and, uh, Cortland Sudden had his best game. I think his best game. Um, he has yet to stop. He had 9.3 people. But, uh, bone X is 61% roster. He's at Carolina next week. So, uh, it's good for Coleman too. Oh, my gosh. Jonah Coleman's the start of the week next week. I just. It might be. I was thinking that one. He scores. Yeah. I knew England's 24. I mean, 19 somehow, someway Drake May puts together 26 and a half fantasy points. Sky's incredible. That's his worst game in his last five. Yeah. 6.5. It looked ugly early. It sure did. His, how about his little fake on the option for the long run? It was worth six points. I know Ramondri Stevenson wasn't great for fantasy, but he had over 20 touches. So, you know, you can't really, I just, I can't get upset about that stuff. Um, I don't know any, any, I mean, you do have its vision. No. Yeah. Well, anything else to say about this game in a big takeaway is here. I thought Malik was okay too. I mean, he had the bad interception that bounced off the helmet, but, you know, it was like bounced twice. Um, his upcoming schedule is very nice too. We've talked about this on Tuesday. Like, you're getting now, this is what three straight games over 18 fantasy points. Yeah. So, he's not a bad streamer. He and Ali Gordon were getting into it on the sideline. Yes. Ali Gordon started like chirping at the Patriots defenders, and I think everybody was pissed at Ali Gordon for doing that. He got a personal foul. So I, I was listening to that portion of it. So, Ali Gordon is apparently a hothead on the field, and he's always talking smack. And they warned him not to do it from what I gathered from the broadcast. And he did it, and he got a personal foul penalty. And, and Malik Willis from what I saw and what I understood was, was calming him down. And, and I think I saw Ali Gordon say, I screwed up. I butter fingered up. Uh, so I think Malik Willis, that was like, good leadership. That's what the broadcast was saying on his part. And this was a little bit what I was concerned about because the dolphins did get behind, but with Ali Gordon, because they just don't throw to him. 19 carries 69 yards and, and zero catches. But like, what are you going to do? I mean, you want running backs who are getting all that work. Caleb, that little bit banged up in the game too. Yeah. Yeah. He got hurt and like, came back in. Yeah. Like, limped right to the bench. Uh, he, you know, look. Not a terrible game for, for rookie wide receiver today. Caleb Douglas was a Hall of Famer. Four catches. 43 yards on six targets. And Greg Dolsich continues to get targeted. That's, uh, five to six targets and three straight games. And, uh, what do they have next week? They have the Lions. Oh, ooh, ooh, start of the week. Greg Dolsich. Yeah. And, uh, what's the name? The safety got hurt again. Brian Branch. Yeah. Yeah. Branch and one of them ran into each other. Although, Kirby Joseph could come back. Branch might come back. Yeah. But Jack Campbell's probably gonna be it. You know, the funny thing, yeah. With those scary neck injuries and the Mock on wood here. But sometimes they're, like, not bad at all. Right. Kendall Daniels had, I think Daniels is the last name. The Falcons linebacker. Right. Right. Got carted off the field and he was back the next week. Yeah. So we'll keep our fingers crossed for, for Jack Campbell. All right. But on the box score tomorrow morning, we'll recap, uh, this. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say, not a thrilling game between the commanders and Eagles in the second quarter right now. But we'll recap. Barkley is good. Who does? Barkley. Barkley has looked good all year. Right. I mean, what? He's been so good. Like, this hasn't necessarily translated a fantasy point, so. We had a big catch in this game and he touched down runs. Yeah. All right. Um, have a good night. We know it does not make a good night. He's giving carries near the goal line. That's a good point. Have a good day. Everybody. Good night.
