Week 8 Waiver Wire Must-Add Players, Kevin O’Connell Questions, Fixing Kickers, and Maine’s Umbrella Cover Museum

The episode of the Ring of Fantasy Football Show features a detailed discussion on player additions, with Jonah Coleman emerging as the top running back choice due to his strong performance and increased role with the Broncos after returning from injury. The hosts also explore the humorous and absurd elements of professional sports culture, such as Christian McCaffrey’s comment about his leg “dying,” which is interpreted as a dramatic exaggeration of pain. Trivia questions range from the existence of towns starting with “Shart” (leading to Shartlesville, PA) to referee penalties, with one reaching a record of 2,600 accepted penalty yards in a season. A major highlight is the discussion of the umbrella cover museum in Peaks Island, Maine, which holds the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of umbrella covers (730) and features a nine-year-old intern in its early days. The team also evaluates backup running backs, including Kaelin Black, Seth McGowan, and others, based on team needs and injury reports. Receiver and tight end strategies are analyzed, with Omar Cooper and Brenton Strange highlighted as strong options. The episode concludes with a playful segment on coaching legends, correcting the belief that Kevin O’Connell is a “quarterback whisperer” and instead pointing to Grant Yudinski as a more influential figure. Throughout, the hosts blend fantasy football strategy with lighthearted commentary, emphasizing the humor and unpredictability of the game.

Axel Rose, Umbrella Covers. >> What else, what were the other trivia questions? I blocked them. >> Crazy how quickly they leave your brand. >> What were they? I won one of them. I don't know what it was. >> No idea. All that and more, after the break. >> This episode is presented by Verizon. Let me tell you all about Verizon's new simplicity plan. I'm joined by Danny Kerlin, Craig Coralbeck, and we're going over all the players to add. After week seven, entering week eight, searching halfway. Through the NFL season, we're going to go position by position. We're going to give our best player at that position. And then we'll probably pick similar people. So then we'll do a trivia tie break here. It's not that complicated. You'll figure it out as you go along. Email us at Ring Your Fantasy football gym.com, send us trivia questions, send us fantasy courts as well. We want your fantasy courts. We will litigate. We'll just settle all the arguments in your group chat. And also, now, stupid court. >> Stupid court? >> Yeah. >> Much more importantly. >> That's really what we're talking about. >> It's perfectly named too. >> Stupid court. >> You know what I mean? >> Stupid court? >> Yeah. >> Sometimes it is that simple. >> We should give out stupid prizes. Stupid games? Stupid prizes. >> Yeah. Yeah, I got it. Yeah. That's funny. Okay. Without further ado, DK, who's your number one running back entering week 8 that you would add off waivers? >> I'm going to go with Jonah Coleman for the Broncos off the IR for a high ankle sprain. He came back and he basically led the team and snaps, rushes, touches, and yards in his first game back kind of relegated JK Dobbins to third string. And then RJ Harvey was sort of being the complimentary back. You never freaking know what the Broncos, whether this is going to hold or like who's going to be the lead guy in any given game, but I do think the signal right now is at least that Jonah Coleman is kind of their guy going forward. So we'll see what happens. >> I completely agree. He is my choice as well. I feel like with running back this week, there's a lot of stash options. There's a lot of like Seth McGowan in Indianapolis because maybe they trade Jonathan Taylor. It's like Mike Washington in case Jenny gets her, Caleb Black because McCaffrey's leg died as an actual quote that McCaffrey said. But Jonah Coleman is the guy that you could play next week. And like just looks like the best running back on the team already, even though he's a fourth round rookie who's coming back from an injury. He just has the most juice and Sean Peyton clearly likes him and he already played half the snaps in his first game back. I just think he's the best running back on the team already. >> I agree. There's a massive tear gap after Jonah Coleman if he's available. Nate John K. P. F. F. had a good framing that Jonah Coleman led the Broncos percentage-wise in snaps on early downs, led the Broncos in snaps percentage-wise in passing downs and in short down to distance, he just kind of didn't get the touchdown. So totally agree. I think it's time. >> That was easy. >> Look at that. It's so nice when we all get along, we're arguing. It is time for the Jonah Coleman showdown time. Oh, Monday morning, gong. It's different. Okay. This is an important trivia question. Sometimes we have to hit important things. This is from Chris. >> Chris. >> Or K-bone. >> C-bone. >> C-bone. >> Larger. I like what you did there. Larger is latte, BLT on wheat from my corner, Brooklyn, Bodega. >> Wow. >> I love the morning BLT. That's awesome. >> I love a bodega, man. >> Sure. >> I love bodega. >> Yeah. >> Chris writes, "How many towns and cities in the United States start with Shart?" >> Whoa. >> The name of the city starts with Shartville. >> Shartville. >> Yeah, I was going to say Shartville or something, because Shartville. >> Shartville, USA. >> How many towns? >> Sharttington. >> Shartonega. Anything. >> Yeah. >> Cows. >> Is it the sound, Shart, or is it literally S-H-A-R-T? >> The spelling. >> The spelling. >> Specifically. >> Wow. >> Shartruce. >> Shhh. >> Oh, man. >> Oh. >> How many towns and cities? >> Good Lord. >> General municipalities. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. >> Three, two, one, four. >> Eleven. >> Four and eleven? Like I said, ten. >> Damn it. >> Well, that could be good, I guess. >> The answer is one. >> Okay. Well. >> You morons. >> What kind of drinking drink? >> It's a trivia question, isn't it? What was it able to city? >> It's Shartlesville, Pennsylvania. >> Shartlesville. >> Shartlesville. >> Oh. >> Shartlesville, which has Wikipedia. >> Shartlesville founded in 1765, named for the Shartles family of farmers and inkeepers, particularly for Peter Shartles, a pioneer settler and Colonel during the Revolutionary War. >> Colonel Shartles. >> Colonel Shartles. >> Oh, man. >> Colonel Shartles, Chief Shart. Chief Shart, Colonel Shartles. Shartlesville is also home to the Shartlesville Hotel. >> Okay. >> Which has a beloved Amish breakfast on Facebook. >> Of course. >> Wow. >> Yeah. >> Wait, what's it? What's it an Amish breakfast involved? >> I don't know, but people love it. People don't know. >> I got to know. >> Amish breakfast. >> I feel like it's just like eggs. >> But they know something. >> It's a hearty calorie dense farmhouse meal. Eggs, meats, starches, baked goods. Okay. >> It's just a great normal breakfast. >> Yeah. >> And they had something called roadside America, which I guess is like a village inside a strip mall. But yeah, that's the-- >> Shartlesville. >> Colonel Shartles. >> Shartlesville. >> Shartlesville. All right. Cool. So I get Jonah Coleman. >> Yeah. >> Damn it. >> All right. I have to go second. Oh, my God. Well, this is rough. Okay. So I guess if Jeremiah Love was out this week, you could play "Bam Night" for the Cardinals. But if you really need a running back, because Arizona's playing Dallas and Dallas sucks. But man, I don't-- I don't know if I want to do that. Honestly, man, I would just-- I guess I would just like pick up. I mean, that sucks so much. If you're really that desperate, maybe like Samaj P. Ryan for the Bengals, at least he might have more of a role the rest of the year in the Bengals are actually going to get to the red zone a lot. So if you're really desperate, I would go Samaj P. Ryan. And then if you're more like not desperate, you just want to add a running back because you're thin. But you don't need to play in this week. I agree with what Craig said that Seth McGowan, the running back for the Colts, is if Jonathan Taylor gets hurt, if Jonathan Taylor gets traded. Or honestly, he would play a lot. But even Seth McGowan might play more just because why use all the tread on Jonathan Taylor's tires if you're going to play him? I don't think there's a reason to play Jonathan Taylor 90 plus percent of snaps if it's going to be a lost season anyway. So I think Seth McGowan's going to play more down the stretch anyway. But it is really bleak after Jonah Coleman, to be honest. Yeah. I guess I'll go with Dylan Sanson of the Browns, who came back for his first game this season and played about half the snaps. He's basically splitting tires. He got a lot of the third down and long distance, long down and distance snaps. More of a pass catching back, which could come in handy against the Steelers this week, who just held the Saints to like seven yards rushing. Aaron Rodgers outrushed the Saints. So I don't know. Maybe they turned to the past. So your pitches are running back that a team that just allowed seven yards? No, my pitches are running back, who primarily is used in the passing game. I do love Dylan Sanson, but just hate the Browns. I mean, this is, we're really scraping the bottom of the barrel. As Haif had said, Kaelin Black for the 49ers is probably worth having on your roster, just in case Christopher McCaffrey's leg ends up not coming back to life. The Niners are on by, but that's probably, he's probably the best answer of all of them. It's just take up Kaelin Black, just because the fact that McCaffrey's leg can just, he really said that phrase, right? He said that in an interview during, after the game, he was like, it felt like my leg died, and it took me a while to get it started again. Yeah, it was on because he seemed very casual about it. It reads worse than it sounds because he's like, yeah, my leg died and like, it's annoying. He's doing all we find. This is why athletes don't give it, say anything interesting. Yeah. You're honest and we're like, your leg died and he said, shut the fuck up, that's not true. In reality, he probably got a dead leg, and he was like, yeah, my leg hurt, but it's not injured. It's like a bad translation. My leg died. Yeah. I got a dead leg. Yeah. If he said dead leg, nobody would care, but he said leg died. Oh, I want that. He knows bad translations. There's really good words. Like the one that shed my leg died. Yeah. How about this? How about the Nova in Mexico? But Nova in Spanish means doesn't go. Lord of War. I won't. If you guys had to do a stash ranking and it's, you can pick Seth McGowan, Mike Washington and Kaelin Black. How are you ranking? Kaelin Black first, because the Niners are a great team with a long history of running back stepping in as the starter and playing really, really well. So I think Kaelin Black has to be first, right? I agree. I think I lean Mike Washington's second. I agree. Just because Jenty's so banged up right now, they may end up just shutting him down, especially if they lose in a game or two more. And then Seth McGowan's three, and then I feel like Somaje P Ryan is somewhere in there because the bangles can't run, but Somaje P Ryan is probably going to play more, but also, what does that even mean? Because the bangles kind of can't run anywhere. Can you guys agree? Can you guys name all the teams that Somaje P Ryan has been on his career? The bangles, the Broncos. He was on the Bengals twice, right? - This is his third stint on the Bengals. - Third stint on the Bengals. - He went Washington, Bengals. - Yeah, I was gonna say Washington. - Washington, Bengals, Miami, Bengals, Broncos, Chiefs, Bengals. - Chiefs? - Chiefs, yeah, I forgot about that. - Dolphins? He's also, I mean. - I have no memory of that. - I believe Somajepiran is the record for the most rushing arts in a college football game. I think he had like 400 yards or something. - Is that right? - He had Oklahoma. - He had Oklahoma. - Wait, I think so. It's a crazy number. - Most rushing yards in a single, you're right, 427. - Wow. - I vaguely remember Piran being like a pretty big dynasty thing for a hot minute. - It is crazy just like what? A guy like Somajepiran, who's had a very respectable, like rock solid, I guess, NFL career. - Yeah. - The fact that he just has the most rushing yards in a college football game ever just goes to show you how nuts and good these guys are in college and how hard the pros are. - Yeah. - We need to bring back DK. We did this a few years ago. We should run it back because we have new listeners now. We should bring back DK always, we called it the local Luke Riddnawers, where there are everyone, basically every player you've ever seen do sports and television to the best player in the history of their town. - Fucking local legend. In my generation, in the Northwest, Luke Riddnawer was the best player, best basketball player. This area had ever produced, which is absolutely not true because Seattle's produced a lot of good basketball players, but in Bellingham, where I grew up, Luke Riddnawer was a fucking legend. He won the state title. He went down to these big camps in California. It was the MVP as a sophomore in high school. He was insane. And then he just went on to be a very normal role player in the pros, and I was just like, damn it, dude. - I feel like some good are these players, man. - Yeah, there's nine points of game in his career. You're like, "Okay, yeah." - He was more like legend. - But anyway. - Sam Decker is like that. He's like the best player in the history of Wisconsin basketball. He's more of those at Ring of Fantasy Football at gmail.com. - I remember Melvin Gordon having that crazy year where he ran for like 400 yards, and looking it up. It was the exact same season. Melvin Gordon set the record for most Russian yards in a single college football game on November 15th, against Nebraska on November 15th with 408. Seven days later, P-Rine breaks it. - Oh, man. - Yeah, it's for worse. - I very vividly remember that Melvin Gordon game 'cause my dad's an Nebraska fan, and he was just losing his mind. Like not being able to stop the run is the most frustrating thing. - It is, it is, yeah. - It's just like they just ran all over him. - Yeah, I want more story. I want more, I want more of that. Also, I kind of want more Melvin Gordon's guys who had the record assigned for like very small. Travis Kelsey had the record for saving yards by a tight end for a season for like two hours. And then George Kittle broke it, like literally the next window of games. But I like those two. People who were like the order of the astronauts getting off, you know what I mean? Does anyone remember the third astronaut on the moon? Not really. Many men have walked on the moon and women. - Probably like a dozen, I don't know. - I don't know. - I don't know. - Someone said that the trivia story. - How did they determine that Neil went first? They draw straws, was that predetermined? - It was predetermined. - It was arranged how they got to sit on the aircraft leaving. And it was like a whole day. - Who's closest to the door? And they decided that Neil, there's a reason that Neil Armstrong got stuck with it. - Yeah, you're getting that first over my dead body, pal. - It was like, it was a dick measuring contest if you got to sit near the door. I get it. - Holy shit. - Yeah, I'll take NASA stuff too. Okay, so receivers, it's way more interesting the receiver thing. - Yeah. - The receivers this week are really great. DK, who's your number one receiver you'd had entering week eight? - So do we want to include Omar Cooper who is rostered on 48% of Yahoo's leagues? I'm going with Omar Cooper. - If he's available, like 1000%. - Are we including Concepcion? No, right, he's 60. - Yeah, I think Concepcion was just above the limit. But obviously, if he's out there, grab him as well. - Well, let's start right there. If they were both available, who would you pick, Casey Concepcion or Omar Cooper? - Honestly, I might take Omar Cooper. - Oh, wow, I think I'd take Casey. - I would take Cooper. - Both great options. Cooper, just what he's done in his two full games as a pro is pretty incredible. He's the number two receiver on the Jets already. 70% of the routes this last week. And the Jets schedule of opposing defenses isn't too crazy coming up here. They got Vegas, Kansas City stuff, Buffalo chargers, and then Miami. So there's a runway here to have him put up some points. I do think Concepcion's awesome. And they're utilizing him in PPR friendly ways, like getting into football, manufacturing touches and things like that. So I really, I mean, I think both are great options. Cooper is just a little bit more of a downfield player right now, so I'd probably go Cooper. - The list, I'm not saying Omar Cooper will definitely be a league winner, but the list of wide receivers who again, take out week one, like the list receivers who's first two full games looked like 100 plus yards in a touchdown each week is, it is like, it's not quite randos. It's just reminds me of the Cooper starts. - Just reminds me of the Cooper starts. - Cooper starts. - Yeah. - Cooper and Juan Bolton. It is like people who ended up being dominant. And Omar Cooper was also dominant for the undefeated national champions at Indiana. And so it's one of those where I don't know how good he'll be the rest of the season, but you have to find out. So I think we include him because I think it's essential to Adam. - Yeah. And then I actually, I would put concept C on the number two. - Well, are we included? We're not including concept C on 60% rostered. - Sure. - Yeah, we can take him out if you want. - Okay. - All right, so that means it's time for the Omar Cooper Jr., not the second, showdown time. (dramatic music) - Okay. So we were talking about the refs on Sunday and Deakin and I were mad, but a lot of people were really mad about these refs, man. People are really mad at the refs for the Packers Lions game. So we got this email from Cliff. - Cliff. - Oh, no, sorry, that's a different one. No, sorry, this one's from Gage. - Gage? Cliff and Gage. - It's two good names. - G-bone. - G-bone's email here, firstly says breakfast channeled. Channels my inner Danny Kelly with a breakfast case idea. - All right. - Oh, what's some eggs in it, perhaps? - Yeah. - So just a case idea. - Well, Deakin would never put anything in his case in Deakin. - No, that'd be ridiculous. - I love the idea that steak in a case of Deakin just disgusts Danny Kelly. - Okay. Well, it doesn't disgust me. I would eat it. But when I'm making my case ideas, it's cheese only. - DK occasionally, my in-laws and I would go to this place in like Central California for the holidays. And it's like you ride horses, it's like outdoorsy. And in the mornings, there's like a country breakfast. And they serve case ideas for breakfast. And it's actually like phenomenal. And I never eat it. It's just like cheese case idea and you get it with your eggs and your potatoes. - Do you put anything on it? Is there like a topping or anything? - No, not really. You just kind of have it with the rest of it. And it's really good. - Look, it's not that different from just having a piece of toast or something for breakfast. - Yeah. It's great. Maybe more people should have breakfast case ideas. - Love me a case idea. - So Gage's trivia question here. Through six games, Alex Moore, who's the referee from the Packers Lines game and his crew have had 106 penalties accepted for a total of 920 yards. - Jeez. - Which would put them on pace over the course of a 17 game season. They would be, this referee crews on pace for 301 penalties for 2,600 and six yards. So 2,600 yard pace for referees. JSN could ever. So Gage's question is since 2009, what is the most accepted penalty yardage by a referee crew in a single season? What's the ref record? - Okay. So the pace right now is 2,600. - They're on record for a 2,600 yard season. - Which would be the- - Which would be the- - 2,600, wasn't there a pace for that, yeah. - Yes, it would be the record. So what is the record currently? The referee crews accepted penalty yardage in a season. - What a dubious record to be going for here. All right, I'm ready. - 3, 2, 1. - 18. - 1,600. - Oh, yes, I'm even close. Come on. 3,300 is what I put and I nailed. It's 2,200. Come on. You guys get a bump in numbers. Do you think no one's ever had a 2K season? - Get those numbers up, yeah. - I've quite literally never even thought of or considered the fact that like there's a statistic that even charts. - That's right. - Well, I don't think they want people to know, but you know, they're keep a track of it. - So this Alex Morki is the Christian McAfer, the JSN of refereeing. - It's the JSN of refereeing. We gotta do the refereeing. - I know, we gotta get that going. - I think we have to do the refereeing. - We really should. - Next year we will do that. - We have to do it. It's what everyone wants, really. It's what people want to see. So let's make them the stars. - I will say, people, we got a lot of emails about the referee thing. First of all, also Pro Football talk, Mike Flurio made the point that Tom Brady might be fine, like half a million dollars for the referee talk he had. - For the one he was saying on the broadcast? - He's not allowed to be criticized them, not because he's an announcer, but because he's an owner of the Raiders. An owner's, can't just criticize referees. And it doesn't matter if he's right. Like if you're accurate, that act doesn't matter. It's not allowed to criticize them egregiously and agree, the definition of egregious is just like obvious and accurate or something. - Why can't he criticize them as an owner? Why can't an owner criticize that? - Because it's in the contract. So it's otherwise owners would fucking bitch every time. And it's like because they don't want people, they want to control the narrative about referees. They don't want, the same reason coaches can't talk about referees and complain. It's because the NFL doesn't want to undermine the referees. - Interesting. - But so anyway, Brady, I kind of respected more. - I hope, Brady just-- - And I was gonna say, can you think-- - Do you think the Brownie points that he won by bitching about the rest in this game outweighed? - It's worth 500K. - I mean, Xavier McKinney did it for 50K. And Xavier McKinney doesn't have Tom Brady money, so. - Brady has done a good job this year. And I think he is, he is, like, he's not the best color guy definitely, but like I do this. He thinks he is rising up the ranks and people enjoy him more. - He's really good now. - And also what, honestly, he's the, when he talks, it's hard not to listen, like when he's-- - I agree. - I agree. You know what he also, he has-- - He has the opposite of Drew Rees where I know it's his voice when I hear it. - Yeah. - I know his cadence. - I know he's good now. But I will say, there's a couple of emails about the referees that I didn't want to read. This one's from Cliff, 'cause people really cared about this. - Cliff Booth. - Cliff Booth. Hearing you say in a full referees job is tough because they have to enforce rules that everyone else is trying to break all the time. But also the referees are getting treated like shit the entire time. Made me think that NFL referees need some training that teaches them to take shit without overreacting, like throwing a flag from your back or screaming at trademark ride and saying, "Fuck you to trademark ride." And so Cliff thinks he found the perfect solution. Every NFL referee should have to work at the DMV during the absence. - Yeah. Yeah, let's figure out what's the one thing that's worse than being a ref and let's make them also do that. - Well, I'm just saying. - Yeah, 'cause then refereeing, it's like the weight, the donut weight you put on your bat when you're warming up. - Yeah. - Refereeing after that feels easy. - Yeah, exactly. - You guys see that? - You guys see Tee every morning. They'll be thrilled to go to work. - Did you guys see that thing that went viral where the person who owns the ice cream shop was like, "Please stop fucking yelling at my employees. They're kids." It's just like a bunch of freaking mean adults are yelling at these high school kids for messing up their ice cream orders. Like, "Come on." - I will say, I was at an ice cream shop that I will not name in DC this summer and the high school. I was actually my first job was at an ice cream shop, but there's one rule and they broke the one rule. Which is just forgot to swap out the tasting spoons between people or they were like-- - Oh. - They handed it to them and instead of throwing it out, the kid just grabbed it and tried to hand it to me. I'm like, "No kid, come on." - I just don't have a great concept of germs and whatnot. - But I also didn't scream at the kid. Wait, but the DMV thing I thought was just so funny. Cliff writes he's like, "Every time I go to the DMV, I hear someone just absolutely unload a Nutella who's forcing them to obey some rules they don't give a shit about." And I've never seen a DMV employee flinch ever and they never mind curse back at them. These people just sit there and remain calm enough to call people, "Sir." And if you had a coach yell into someone's face for 10 straight seconds and the referees reply was, "I'm sorry, this is just how it is, sir." I don't know, I think they made the DMV sign there. - The other one, this email's from Brad. - Brad. - Really succinct. Brad said, "When referees are not sure about a call and they want to see angles, they should throw an orange flag and when they're sure they should throw a yellow flag." - Interesting, caught my eye. - Like I want to see that again. - Yeah, I've never thought it could get sticky, but I have to say, I wanted to talk that out with you guys. - It does kind of, in some ways, it does make sense because I do feel like a lot of times you'll have two refs that kind of come to different conclusions at the same time and then they confer whatever and one guy talks the other guy into it. And that just doesn't seem like a great system to me. You know what I mean? Like if two guys are disagreeing on something who gets the final say? - Well, and there seems to be like an embarrassment factor where refs don't like the idea of throwing a flag and then picking it up and admitting they were wrong, but it was an orange flag. And it's a, I just want to look into this, maybe-- - I'm just asking questions. - I'm just asking questions. But you can talk about this on the Sunday night show, a high fit, but then it's like, how often are you throwing it? Does the whole game just become like, "I don't know, I don't know flag." He's just getting thrown every time. - But that's also like, well, he threw an orange flag, but he meant to throw a yellow flag. And now you're giving him more decisions to make. It probably wouldn't work, but I like the orange flag just to go immediately to New York and have them decide. - Well, I was going to say, "Starrator deserves an orange flag." I want him to have the orange flag. - The oversight flag. - It's like the big, the voice button, the chair, he hits it, he turns around and he looks at the play. That's what I have to say. - That would be very dramatic. Put 'em up on one of those, like the chairs that go up on top, they extend high, like the bugger mobile back in the day. Put him on one of those, they swing around. - It's floating above the field, watching the so-fi stadium screen. - XFL nailed it, they called it the Sky Judge. - That's awesome. - And like that is what they, Craig, when you first said it, I thought you were nuts that the guy in the TV booth should be the referee. I kind of think in 10 or 20 years they might actually do that. - They're talking to America here. - Well, they actually, Terry McColley is in that job 'cause he's the best referee and so he wants the most money. So he's doing that job. But they're on the phone with the New York booth, like these literally talking with the real referees the whole time. That's how he knows what they're gonna review before they decide it. And I'm like, yeah, let Dean Plantino and Sterator and McColley just actually be the oversight people. And let him explain it directly to us. - It's just funny 'cause sometimes the worst angle is if you're literally on the field. It's hard to watch a game when you're on the, I even think about that sometimes as a head coach and you're calling plays. - You can't see shit. - Yeah, and so there's no wonder, right, Toreco and Conzworth always feel like they know what's going on and they get everything right 'cause they got a thousand screens, they got somebody in their ear. That's Sterator. Sterator should be making the calls. - There's something to that. The only issue is they just would have to, it's hard to scale to set one o'clock Eastern Windows right at the games at once. But that honestly is like the biggest problem. But other than that, yeah, that would should be. Okay, with that said, receivers, I don't remember what happens. - You got it right? - I won. - Oh yeah, I won. - 2300, what was your guess? I said, what did I say? - I said 1800, I think. - So I'll take one more Cooper. - You said 16, I think? - Yeah, so you're up. - There's still a few exciting receivers here, even if you're not counting cases. KC Concepts in would be second, but we're saying he's too rostered, so who would you take second? - So it just kind of depends on your roster. I think if you need someone who's played next week, Caleb Douglas is a good option coming back for the dolphins this week, he had three targets, two catches, 70 yards, and two touchdowns. He's been really efficient when he's on the field. Two out of three weeks, he's played, he's put up big numbers. He's just absolutely, you know, thumbing, what is it, thumbing, what's the expression where you're thumbing your nose at someone? - He's nose. - That is a weird expression. He's thumbing his nose at all the assholes who basically said he was the biggest reach in the end. - I've never thought about it being a thumbing your nose. - I was like, that doesn't sound right. Anyway, he's been pretty good. The dolphins offense kind of picking up, they at least, this is like what Nate Tyson, he says, they're at least trying stuff on offense. They're not just, you know, boring ass team that's going through the motions. So I would put him near the top of the list, and then the other guy is, if he's still out there, go pick up Jordan Tyson. The Saints are on by this week, but he should be getting closeish to returning to the field and when he does, I think he has a lot of upside. In a, you know, past first, you know, lots of plays in the Saints offense, even though they're not a very good team, their passing game does have plenty of production. So Jordan Tyson would be kind of just the stash guy for me. - But you are taking, who? - I'm gonna take Caleb Douglas though. - I'll take Antonio Williams for Washington, Terry McClaren's out for the year with the knee injury. Now it's kind of like Stefan Diggs, who was banged up, but played, finished the game. You have Traylon Berks, who like, how long have we been doing that? And I think Antonio Williams jumps off the screen to me. - Yes. - Maybe it'll take a little bit, the rookie wide receiver thing second half of the season stuff. I would be willing to take a shot on Antonio Williams. Like, I don't think Traylon Berks is gonna become one of the best 10 or 15 receivers in fantasy. I don't think that's like in his range of outcomes. And Tony Williams, you don't know. Like, I think that's, it's possible. So I would take a shot on him. - Traylon Berks is just gonna do the K-Shop booty thing. Have a big clear to a game. - I don't know. - I think he's been surprisingly good. - You think he's more likely to be like a league winner than Antonio Williams? - I do think Traylon Berks will initially have the Terry McLean role in his offense. Now, there's a lot of chemistry and frankly just threading of a deep needle there of a Jan Daniels to McLean. It's kind of like Russell Wilson with Tyler Lockett, where it's like, they just have a really good mind meld on these really low percentage D passes. But I will say Traylon Berks, I have been shocked. And like, he was a first-round pick because of a lot of, you know, he's a really good athlete and he just seems to have a little more focus. - Maybe his career kind of went to like, maybe the brink of being out of the league. And he's had a couple good plays. He has nine catches this year. - Exactly, he's nine catches this year. I'm not saying, but also Terry McLean just is out for the season. So I'm saying, I agree with you that I would take Antonio Williams and that he's the stash. And like again, as you said, the rookie receiver's second of the season. But I'm saying like, I wouldn't be shocked if like starting next week versus the Eagles. Traylon Berks is like, is that the guy you want? Like, is he just gonna quietly outperform a bunch of like, is he gonna be a top 30 receiver down this? Like that kind of guy that the second half of the season you're sorting and you're like, did Traylon Berks finish his top 30 receiver for the rest of the season? - Who would you rather take that right now? Antonio Williams or Berks? - I would probably take Antonio Williams 'cause I think solely, there is zero percent chance anyone's adding Traylon Berks this week. So I would just take Antonio Williams. But if Traylon Berks has one good game, I kind of will believe it like immediately. I won't dismiss it. But he needs that. I want to see him as one good game in that role. But also if you're in a deeper league and you're like Omar Cooper and Casey Concepcion and Antonio Williams had been rostered for weeks. What are you guys talking about? I would add Traylon Berks. - Another rookie to keep in mind here is Jacobi Lane for the Ravens who is second among Snaps and Snaps among Ravens receivers this week. Three catches for 25 yards. Not really anything to write all about, but Lamar Jackson should be back soon hopefully. And then I think the Ravens offense will pick up. - And also just if he's there as Keenan Allen for the Colts who again, a bad game, like they played the Vikings last week and I just throw the game out but next week I mean I think that the next three of the next four weeks I wouldn't be shocked keen out again It's such a new you're a full PPR league Keenan Allen the next few weeks. It's like the Jaguars, which you can't run on them And then it's the cowboys who can't defend anything and then the dolphins and then ironically the Texans have given up the second most points to Receivers so Keenan Allen over the next month I think it's if you're in a full PPR league is We'll get you through the by-weeks if not in a sexy way like all these receive the rookie receivers could pop But so for the yeah, we're so we're doing a Omar one Caleb Douglas to Antonio Williams three Yeah, and if you're in a deeper league. I think Berks is available literally everywhere All right tight ends decays your number one tight end I think I'll stick with I mean we've talked about this guy a few times Brenton strange for the Jags if people dropped him during the Jags by week I think now's the time to pick him up He is kind of a go-to guy in this offense, and I like the offense overall the environment is is really good And they're gonna score a lot of points. He's been a huge part of the offense He gets I mean if just the last three games seven targets eight targets eight targets So he's he's you know like a secondary option, but he's been consistent at least for them So probably put him first just for the just for the floor that he brings. Yeah, I I'm between him and Shiggy Conquo in Washington He's not a good one. Yeah had a really good week on Monday night after without Terry You like seven catchy 65 yards. There's just like what's explosive strange is probably the safer bet And a Conquo is probably the higher floor or higher ceiling lower floor Are you biting on the Mason Taylor hype after this last week two touchdowns? I don't know to be like and there's like a different player on the Jets every week who has a good game So it's tough. I mean, I there's a lot of good young players on the Jets Breast hall's not back. I don't know. I think he'll be back next week or the week after I Yeah, Mason Taylor look good. He's also 22 years old and I think in a dynasty in a longer form Like I think Mason Taylor have a good career But I think that's more about the dolphins are not able to stop tight ends and I think like Eli Raritan from the Patriots They're playing next week. I'm like I I bet Eli Raritan who's not rostered in any normal leagues is probably get out Squirt Mason Taylor next week. So he was like literally the number one tight end But I feel like are you actually confident Mason Taylor's a top 20 tight end next week because I just you know, I don't know yeah Yeah, I kind of want to go with Chagg. I think Chagg's fine. I think that totally makes sense. Sure. I like Chagg They're getting involved in the passing game a lot more the last like three weeks. Hi, if it's what are you doing? If you asked me to bet my life who's gonna score more fantasy points next week I would pick Breton Strange because I think the Colts defense both is bad and also on the verge of quitting However, you asked me of the course of the season. I Think Chagg is probably the better ad because he what he could just end up being the Isaiah likely of Washington Where maybe he's the number one receiver on this team going forward with that Terry McLearn especially because the fun digs I mean he's old like his hand got beat up last week. I'm on a football like digs I heard at any point and then there's a chance Chagg's the number one guy I think for Strange, it's a lot harder in Jacksonville as long as Parker Washington's there for him to just like be leading the team in targets every given week So I would say if you just George Kiddler Isaiah like he's on by just need to tighten for one week I would just add Strange, but if you actually kind of want if you have Mark Andrews and you're like, I hate this I want a new tight end. I did that by the way. It felt Invigorating I dropped Mark Andrews and all my leagues. It was very much like what Craig did with Waddle Like I don't care. He might have ten catches in a game And I'll still feel great that I don't have to worry about I traded Waddle for Quinshawn who just then just got hurt and now look and pay them. Yeah, you You're like we've been taught I feel like if you go back the last four years among tight ends Does Chagg's uncle would take the crown for the amount of times we've mentioned him on a waivers No, I'm constantly I feel like honestly Strange is up there. Yeah, it's he's up there Okay, I'll take Strange cuz you're doing strange. All right, and that means it's time for the Brenton Strange out looking for some strange Showdown time It's from Noah Noah Breakfast chocolate protein pancakes banana and an avocado. Ooh, okay, so we just ate an avocado like raw just plain with a spoon. Yeah Is he putting the avocado on the camera on the protein pancakes on the chocolate protein pancake? That sounds kind of interesting. I doubt it I don't know So we asked for Guinness World Records and weird ones. Mm-hmm. So Noah wrote I've heard he is a very odd one So in Peaks Island, Maine Which I'm just picturing as that weird what's the show in Apple TV that just came out of it with us, but yeah, I'm just picturing that Peaks Island, Maine There is the world's only umbrella cover museum Umbrella cover museum. Yes, it's not an umbrella museum. It's the only museum in the world for umbrella covers What what even is an umbrella so I don't like something you wrap your umbrella in yeah I don't know that exists. That's a thing. Why yeah, well you live in LA is the rain But he's in the whole point of an umbrella to block you from the rain You need to block the umbrella from the rain with a different it's like to keep all the umbrella a coach or mall in in tight They're like a string or a Velcro strap around the umbrella to keep it together If you got real money cut umbrella cut a lot a lot of umbrellas create have like a little sheath like a condom That you put on. Yeah, it's everything. Yeah, you know together. Okay So Noah worked at this museum. Sorry. Okay. Noah worked there Okay, Noah said he was an intern there when he was nine interns he was nine the the umbrella cover interned program Which is basically like child labor. I don't know what OSHA's doing. He's nine-year-old working there And he said one of my first tasks as an intern was to apply to get into the Guinness Booker World Records Of course we were we were rejected for five consecutive years Maybe because they had a fucking nine-year-old filing the God did yeah, this whole thing is incredibly bizarre Okay, so I went to the website did the woman running this is not man. I there's no way like the website for this place is Ridiculous I don't know what's question is how many unique umbrella cover sleeves did the umbrella cover museum have when we were awarded The official Guinness World Record in 2012 and the record is for most umbrella sleeves the largest collection of umbrella covers in the world Okay, and how many did they have is the question? Yes Ridiculous it did this you can just Google umbrella cover museum peaks island What is the relevance of the umbrella covers museum like why is it in that city? Why did they so much asked? So it's the director and curator Nancy Discovered that she had five or six umbrella covers that she didn't know what to do with in 96 and then she stole another one from a department store and started a museum She stole one she yeah, so she she had six Okay, and she decided that she would just keep collecting them and start a museum is there like anything special about them like is it? No, it's a curiosity museum. It's like oh, there's a fucking umbrella museum. Okay. I think there's nothing to do on this island I mean this island looks very quaint lovely. I'm looking at pictures of it right now Are we talking about giant? I'm like the like like a table umbrellas those like when you're like sitting outside for lunch And there's like a big patio umbrella. We're talking about covers for those or or personal handheld umbrella I'm so glad you asked it on the website. There's a tires section called what is an umbrella cover? You know that little pocket that comes out on a new umbrella when you buy one. It's like a sleeve made of the same material as the umbrella That's an umbrella cover a she's a can't help Yes, okay. I mean the photos are right here. I don't know. It's so complicated Well, it's just because I just right now I just googled umbrella covers and all of them are for giant like patio umbrellas None of them are for handheld umbrellas. Yeah, so I got This woman's not this This conversation reminds me of the the energy vampires like would you do this weekend? I went to an umbrella an umbrella cover museum. I got to tell you all about it Now, I think I would love to get some emails on the most bizarre museums that exist in the world. I did do the museum of Jurassic technology and Los Angeles is my least favorite place on earth Okay Okay Okay, so let's get this let's get this uh let's get this guess in Yeah, how many umbrellas did they have? This is what when they set the record back in the day. Yeah Okay, three two one forty five Set a thousand 45 I mean one other place has 45 umbrella covers in one room. It's a great question. It's a fair question. You have to have more than a store Oh, yeah, but isn't it only the people submitting? Like you're running on a post You know because then in theory you could I could just you could just submit whatever and then if like, you know So Guinness the company the Guinness book of all records then has to go check how many umbrella covers every store that sells umbrella covers in America has I know the process is man. I don't know. That doesn't make any sense But I imagine I think that if the problem with 40 is like any store probably that sells 50 umbrellas with each with a cover is like well We have more in the back How would you know that if you're not checking? I don't know ask the worst conversation of all time So the answer is 730 Wow, okay, so you what did you say heavens? I said a thousand. Oh, I think I it's one. What did you say, DK said 250? I think I can't remember. Something in that range. I mostly was amazed that Noah worked there when he was nine. I thought the whole joke was going to be that there was like barely any umbrella like a 25. Yeah, I thought that was the point. I'm like a thousand is that or seven? It's like actually kind of a lot. It's like the shit. It's the the shards cities. Yeah, I was like, oh, the whole point is it's going to be like 26 and that's hilarious, but okay. All right. Well, this is this museum is going to really see it's yeah, the visitor ship go skyrocketing. What's the name? What's it called? Peaks Island? What's the name? Peaks Island main. It does look like a quaint little island. I'll say that. Yeah. Peaks Island. So I what do I even get? I guess I get Breton Strange and Craig gets chicken concollo and now Dickie gets something else. I got I got second. Yeah, he gets chick. He'll take chick. Which means I'm up. I'm I'm not fucking around. I'm going to go with Darnal Washington. I think that's smart because they're all the same at some point and Darnal Washington will actually bring you joy. And he's like, what if the Steelers are in the Red Zone Rodgers will be targeting Big D. Big D. All right, quarterback. Do you guess what need to trivia for quarterback? We don't typically make up. If it's as scintillating as that last conversation I'd love to. We just talked for 10 minutes about umbrella covers. So. All right, quarterbacks this week. You want to make up trivia? Palo cleanser. Make it up. I mean, that one's, you know, maybe, you know, what? They can't all be winners. They're celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. The umbrella covers museum. Good for them. They must have low overhead pun intended. I was about to say, you know, cheeky bastard. Ha ha. Okay. All right, well, quarterback. So this I think quarterback. There's actually a few Sam Darnal versus the Bears. A Monday night football. I mean, you could do worse. Jacobi percent versus Dallas. Probably not Malik Willis for the Patriots. They'll say Geno Smith versus the Raiders. Do you know? Kind of cooks against bad defenses against Detroit this year. He had 26 points and against Miami this year, 23. Vegas has led up 30 points in four straight games. Jets off and just getting healthy. There's a lot of guys for Geno to throw to on this Jets team. Also revenge game for Geno. So Geno revenge game. Two of his options is here for Geno. That's it. The real question is even though he's on pie, do you stash JG McCarthy just in case he ends up in the top of quarterback the rest of the way? Honestly, probably, just in case. Do you think it's worth adding Baker Mayfield? The first person ever added off 64 passing yards. Well, it's like he's Baker Mayfield. So it's like, well, you never I mean, there's a chance, but he also has like a glove that has a plate knit so he can't move his thumb. It is crazy. The glove, it is a hefty looking glove on his thumb. And so yeah, I would have loved to see a more than throw more than five passes beyond the line of scrimmage. I don't really know what to do with him to be honest. I don't know if he could rip passes. Who's big? I think I would. I think I would lean no. You think so? Like if you have just the problems, if he plays poorly, you're like quarterback. Yeah, if he plays poorly, you're like, oh, yes, thumbs dislocated. Right. I was like, they play Atlanta, then Chicago, then they have a buy, then they play Detroit, then Carolina. I'm like, if Baker is healthy, they have a great lineup of defenses here for him to be relevant fantasy. But yeah, I mean, the thumb thing is weird, I guess. Okay. Defences, the Bengals versus the Titans, just anything with Kim Ward, Ben, anything with Kim Ward, I think it's always live. And then honestly, the Jaguars versus the Colts, Ben, Daniel Jones is playing terribly. The Colts are a mess. They're just kind of just, there's not much fight left in Indianapolis, I feel like for much longer. And I just think Bengals, Jags and honestly, the Bears versus Sam Donald, who's still throwing dumb picks. So I don't love the Bears defense. But again, you're trying to get a turnover. Sacks, big plays. I would say Bengals, Jaguars bears, one of those teams is definitely available. The Jaguars defense run defense is amazing. Okay. A couple of emails. Yeah. I'm going to do something we never do. I'm going to combine three emails from Peter, Dave and Chance, because they were remarkably similar. Peter, David, chance. Peter's breakfast, coffee, the splash of milk, didn't eat lunch too to, sorry, he doesn't eat lunch, doesn't eat until lunch due to gut issues. I see that. Dave writes breakfast is coffee, coffee with toast, butter and jelly. Chance, I think skip breakfast. So I'm just, I don't know why, but I just, all these emails just became what he emailed me. Okay. But they wrote KOC is not a quarterback whisperer. He's just hot. And you guys were on this before anyone else, because we've been talking about this for like a couple of years, that Kevin O'Connell for the Viking said coach, he's just really hot. And he's tall. And he's got a great jawline. And he kind of just getting all this credit. And they all had chance among other of these three guys reminded us that we talked about this a couple of years ago. But if you look at the timeline, Kevin O'Connell is not the quarterback whisperer. It was Grant Yudinski, who was one of his assistants, who then went to Jacksonville at the beginning of last year. And that's when the Vikings quarterback started sucking. And the Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence got way better. And so when we talk about, oh, Josh Jobs had this amazing game where he played well, even though he didn't know the playbook and, you know, Kirk Cusitz, but like Sam Doran or all these people, Grant Yudinski is actually the through line, not Kevin O'Connell. I feel like we've talked about this Grant Yudinski guy before. It doesn't kind of, he looks like Solak a little or something. Yeah, he's like James Gladstone's like the GMs of the Jags. And he's the dookie house. But Grant Yudinski is probably he's the next like offensive guy that he's one of the last really, really young people that it's still higher on offense. Right. It's funny that we were saying like, oh, no, it was Yudinski in Minnesota who was actually pulling his strings and was really smart. Yudinski at that time was like 27. I think he's like a prodigy. He is currently 30. Yeah. No, he will be head coach within a few years. But I do kind of, I do kind of think that is the thing. O'Connell looks, well, here's what I'll say about O'Connell's looks. And he might be the hottest coach in a hat in the league. He looks like with a hat on. He looks like Henry Cavill straight up. He does. He does. But the hair is the hair is thinning a little bit. And I think, but the hat on his jawline looks like a, looks like a fucking movie star. The hot coach rankings next year are going to be incredible because I think Dave canals better not get fired in Carolina because Dave canals. I think he might be the hottest head coach of all time. And I think Kevin O'Connell's probably too. Wow. He think he's I'm not really, I'm not willing to commit to any of these. Yeah, I agree. I agree. Oh, Dave canals one. I would, I would put a significant wager that Dave canals is definitely going to win. Yeah. You know what? I don't know. I don't know. I'm not going to commit to anything. I don't know if that's right. Right. Dave canals is very like traditional good looking. He's like, I get up in the morning and cold plunge hot. I don't know how women are going to respond to that. I think he's going to win. Okay. This one's from Peter. Peabone meter. He emailed about the kicker looks maxing where we're trying to rebrand kickers. Okay. So Peter has a six point plan based on his brother was an actual kicker in college football. Oh, okay. Point plan. Wow. The Dennis system. Let's hear it. The Dennis system starts with as you guys recommended, walk out music, a clear missed opportunity. Right. And the biggest energy would be the Tribe Called Quest. If you come out to Can I kick it? Oh, I like that. It's just clever. Can I kick it? Oh, it's kind of calm, man. But though that song is kind of like a relaxing beat. Yes. That's actually kind of cool. Wow. Somebody should imagine that like a 40 main streak to that song. Well, I'm going. It's pretty beautiful. They should call us like they need like this. They need to do the kickers coming. He's running out. Boom. Boom. So like that. That song just regulates your your nervous system. Yeah. Wow. You know how it's like you're supposed to kick it. You're supposed to do CPR to the tune of staying alive. Right. Like that's actually the right. That's really everybody learning that from the office. Yeah. That is probably true. I probably learned that from the office. But it's true. Right. It is true. Yeah. I actually don't I assume so I'm pretty sure it's true. Just that just people started dying from CPR for years after the office because I've heard I like to do it to more than a woman. That's my preferred music song. But yeah. The number two point of Peter's two point six point plant mandatory visors. Oh little mystery. Will it impede their ability to see probably who cares. Like they'll just look way cooler with the answers. Okay. Is bring back the single bar on this list because I feel like that might help. It's got to be like a leather helmet all the way through. Or like futuristic space looking helmet. Hear me out. No helmet. No helmet. Oh, lose the helmet. Yeah. Lose helmet. Let's see them. Let's get these people famous. I want to I want to see their face. Why do you need a helmet? That no. How are you hiding from? Yeah. That's actually so good. No helmets. No helmet. What are you going to do? Number three, kicker specific alternate jerseys like a goalie. Like soccer like it's soccer. That is funny. How interesting. And that works with the no helmet. That's really good. That's really good. That's good. No helmet. They can't get hit. Different color jersey, which is like quarterbacks in practice. Yep. Wow. All jerk. Kind of like everyone's into side jerseys and you get the throws. Chris Boswell's in the bumblebee running out. It's pretty good. How do they in soccer decide what the goalie gets to wear? I actually They feel like they just have full attitude to wear whatever the fuck they are so our colors are blue and white What do you want to do? I'm like I don't know orange and pink lime green Safety green With a bunch of reflectors on it Number four Peter things kickers need off-field stunt doubles Because I please says I played defensive end in college and even though I'm three inches taller and 50 pounds heavier My brother and I would get confused for each other so they would meet me and then think I was the kicker So he says it basically they would lie and he's like if you met like you know Trying a random kicker at a party and you read him real life But like you had a huge giant stunt double and you're like, oh my god that kicker like he's huge He was really big and scary. Like the fourth and fifth watt brothers should just go around as like responsible Stunt double. Yeah, they need their own cliff booth. Exactly exactly Five is unnecessary rough. This penalties are allowed if it's by a kicker If it's by a kicker. Just just let them do whatever they want. Yeah, I can do whatever they want. Kickers can fucking do whatever they want to tackle a player And it's like the all-time purge then it would help kickers get a little bit stronger a little more ripped. Yeah, you know He's teach Nick even worried a kick and then they get interesting Exactly, that we are talking So I don't know about that one, but I do think we got somewhere with visors or no helmets No helmets different jerseys walk-up music that gets a lot of the way there pretty special And again stop doing the line up stop doing this. Yeah, no line up Even one guy who doesn't do it and it's like so funny everybody will follow you once you do that And keep hitting kicks they somewhat made a great point in the emails. I'm sorry. I forget your name, which is I don't know a lot of you will know this the hash marks Are the goalposts to the inch like that's how far apart the goalpost are it's literally I think it's 18 feet six inches I don't like it is that literally the exact mark. So there's already lines on the field What are you lining up if you're on that kicking from the hash that's where the goal post is where why you like orient orienting yourself? I get it I mean, you know, I wish you know when you're golfing and it's like you you lay the club down at your feet You're like all right, where am I pointing right now? Of course. I get why they do it. I obviously But it's an after making kids, yeah, but however It does accentuate how nerdy you already look is lining up I do that in golf. I'm not pretending. I look cool when I golf. Can I you line in yourself up during sex? Hold on Hold on you're like bending down like you don't have like the putter when you're on the putting green or whatever you just like Bending over and like figuring out your angle. It's the lay of the land or whatever Glorious bastard himself by saying putting green. I know. I don't golf You know when you're on the putting green when you're on Yes, of course What I'm having to sex Wait, no bad ideas kicker image reclamation What about it? What if they bring out their own ball and it's like different colors or something What if it's a different ball? Oh, that's good like because they already get to have their own ball for the whatever and it's like Especially like a mindball. It's like for mine whistles Yeah, it's a it's nerf nerf makes it's got a tail It glows in the dark when he kicks it. You know, it lights up close in the dark That's kind of sick. We turn the lights down except for black light you can have the the the goalposts be Like light up and that's the only thing you can see be pretty sweet. Oh fuck Because you know it's like in them, you know in the NBA also game It's like when they do the three point competition or like the money ball like and it's like red, white and blue or something The the kicker should get to customize his own kicking ball. Craig hear me out. That's pretty good Somebody lights the ball on fire And the goal post on fires as well. Oh Okay, so like it's like it's okay. You were like people have themes the ball being on fire. I'm the flame thrower DK the ball being on fire is ridiculous and juvenile the goalpost being on fire pretty cool. It's actually really doable Yeah, we've been to an EDM concert. We could totally make the goalposts get on fire. That's so achievable It's like it's like those little gas powered, you know, fireplaces you have on your back deck. It's a little fire pit Sure You and I want to do this. I can I tell you something else that I've always wondered about I think it should be like you know and horse if you bank the shot like you should be able to call bank You should be able to call doink and if you hit it it gets extra points. Whoa, you should be able to call doink It's like calling island in beer pong exactly. It's like calling island. I think the question is should if you miss it It doesn't count. Yeah, should it be worth six like basically should it be worth more or less than a touchdown more More you think more if you call so hard and then the imagine you come out to like the music Wait, but do you have to doink it in or can you just doink it? Oh, that's a good question. I kind of think if you just doink it, but again, if you make the field goal and you miss the doink It doesn't count at all. I think you just doink it. It doesn't matter where it goes And then if think imagine this they come out to can I kick it And the audience got yes you can't yeah And then it's a camel little trots out to win the Super Bowl for the shit They're down like oh, they're down six or whatever and they're at the one yard live I don't know Cam little they're gonna go for the win Cam little is gonna do it Goal post just shoots out the whole things on fire and then and then if you if you call doing then you can do the lineup then it's kind of cool The arm lineup. Yeah, he's got no helmet on He's got no helmet Yeah, he wouldn't put the goal post on fire. I think that could figure that out. No helmet, but you're wearing pit vipers Oh, I got one up I got a one up on this okay How much is it worth if you blindfold yourself and hit it hit it blind Whoa Because I like the whole thing's over. They're probably just as good. I mean the drop-off's not Yeah, I think it's still hit them. Yeah, the drop-off it's kind of hard to like hit the wall Somebody tells you when to go. It's all muscle memory. I guess I guess Yeah, maybe it would be hard. I think it would be hard I mean DK could do it. DK could do probably this eyes closed, but oh man I think we're on to something here though. I'm already I'm way more invested in kicking than I was a couple good ideas here Hopefully the league office is listening. Yeah, calling doink it is should it should be worth at least four calling doing come on fucking Vince Von dodgeball blindfold would be amazing Oh my god. He's really doing it When the Savannah Banana is Extended to football in 2040 you know that that goal post is gonna be on fire. Absolutely Okay Or it's like different fields are gonna have different goalposts like baseball stadiums You know Roger Sherman's one of that forever is that everybody should get to pick their interventions of their own stadium And like if you had a great kicker make it really small and if you're a terrible kick you make that go post to you Or it can be raised or lowered the bar can be much higher like yeah, what if it was moving While you kick or it's a circle That's the question is the ball die Damage check talks about this the ring of fire top bar. You should have to you know when it goes over and ever Well, that's the funny. It's like a strike zone. It goes over and it's like does that count everyone's like no one knows No one be cool if it was a circle and it was literal velcro and the ball would stick And it was literal points. It was like like darts or if you hit the metal it's like four and if you hit the rim it's like one Darts a giant dartboard That's not bad. I was also wondering if it's like baseball if it's like you should have six kickers and they can only you'll come out for one Oh interesting you have to imagine You got like a short game kicker. You got like your your home run hitter Yeah, like is this Boswell worthy is this kick Boswell worthy and then sometimes you'd like use them too early Sometimes you wouldn't use them at all. It's like the accurate guy. You have the guy with the big leg He kicked last week. So his legs a little tired Can't really come in something here fuck All right, keep him we're gonna we're gonna fix kickers. All right Still need a name though. That's the thing. We need a name For his kickers. Your baseball is a great name. Mm-hmm. A ringer The ringer Bring in the ringer the ringer No, okay, you might have cooked. I don't know. That's pretty good Thank you DK. Thank you Craig. Thank you, Cam. Thank you to kill thank you Austin Thank you over for listening emails are your fantasy football gmail.com We want fantasy court once stupid court junior versus the the second Stuff still people are mad about that referee ideas fixing crash Fixing kickers Thank you Lauren Lauren guilty pleasures. So D Heifetz is up DK said careless whisper by George Michael and then I said diet Pepsi by Addison Ray Heifetz what say you? I think rock star by Nickelback's a pretty good song. Mm-hmm Gonna be a rock star. Yeah, that one what It's catchy. Yeah Look all of Nickelback songs are not bad. Has Nickelback has Nickelback Gone full circle and are cool again. No, okay. Uh, I just I feel like they have they have found in an ironic Right fandom now where it has become a hipster to appreciate Nickelback. Yes. It's it's becoming that So what DK? What was Creed? What was the vibe with Creed when Creed was popular? Because I feel like people are saying Creed it's Creed and then it was Nickelback and then it was Imagine Dragons But I don't feel like I actually understand what was Creed cringe at the time. I think I think a little bit But not as much as Nickelback Nickelback was first was Creed was definitely cringe, but we didn't really say cringe back then No, but it's a lot Creed Creed to me. I sorry Nickelback. I feel like was the first like early internet people hated them. I don't they they got a raw deal. They really think we all just decided to gang up on Nickelback. They're just a good rock band. Everyone's like the coolest thing in the actual world. The coolest thing in the world is like just actually everyone everyone all simultaneously agreed to just say fuck. Yeah, they were like you know that photographs song. No. Oh, I'm filled with anger at this. Hi, Vince, when you first said rock star, you know what song that that I thought of that I was like, wow, this is actually another good embarrassing song post below. No, it's party like a rock star by shot boys. You know that song party like a rock party like a rock party like a rock party like a rock star. It's like one of the lamest songs ever made. And if I was blasting that in my car, I would be embarrassed. There are so many songs named rock star that are all like pretty embarrassing to listen to, but pretty good. And if you have to call yourself a rock star, it's like a rock star, right? It's like the least rock star thing you can do. How many how many albums has Nickelback sold? That's what I want to know. Trivia next week. Someone sent his Nickelback trivia. That's really good. Because it's got to be a fucking lot. I can't they did this. I want to see Springsteen a few years ago. And then the next place they had next band they had coming through was Nickelback. And it was sold out. And I was like, wow, didn't realize they're also like leaning into the hate thing. I think they had a documentary called hate to love. It's like, I think they're really trying to cash out on this whole like people don't like us. By the way, he was like, love me or hate me. You watched. Yeah. Small connection here since I brought up Avril Lavigne originally. She was married to Chad Kroger, the lead singer of Nickelback. Really? For a while. Yeah. And they made some songs together. I bet those are good. After standing in line, the clubs I'll never get in. Look at this photograph. Every time it makes me laugh. You know the meme where instead of photograph, it's just like, he's holding up a graph. And then they like fuck with the audio. He just goes, look at this graph. It's great. I don't know why, but it just is so fitting that his name is Chad Kroger. Chad Kroger. Well, because it isn't Kroger brand. I also think, like it is perfect as a Kroger brand. Yeah. And so Chad's kind of that name too, isn't it? It is. Yeah. Chad Kroger. It's like a fake name. It's like, it's the anti-rock star name, like fucking Axel Rose. It's Chad Kroger. It's like, hold on. What can we make? What name can we make up? That's the most generic. Besides Mike Smith. Damn, Avril married him late in the game, though. She married him in 2013. I think she was together with the guy from some 41 for a while too. Yeah. By the way, ever since we started doing this, my algorithm on Instagram was just like Avril of being heavy. And I kind of love it. Chad Kroger's father was the minister of transportation in Canada. Wow. Fascinating. Also, high viz, I'm surprised you didn't see this. His name is not Chad Kroger. What? His name is Chad Turton. What? Chad Robert. He changed. It's a Kroger. You never go full Kroger. Wow. That is wild. Turton's kind of sick. Chad Turton. Oh, it's his mother's maiden name. Interesting. All right. You got to respect that. Anyway, I think Nickelback is back. So back. Nickelback. So back. Nickel. So back. Yeah. FAQs

Jonah Coleman of the Broncos is widely recommended as the top running back to add, as he led the team in snaps and touches after returning from a high ankle sprain and is viewed as the primary back moving forward.

Christian McCaffrey stated in an interview that it felt like his leg 'died' after a game, which sparked discussion about whether it was a literal injury or a humorous misstatement, with many suggesting it was a bad translation of a 'dead leg' injury.

The umbrella cover museum in Peaks Island, Maine, is the world's only museum dedicated to umbrella covers. It was started by Nancy, who collected covers from stores and eventually set a Guinness World Record in 2012 for having the largest collection of umbrella covers, with 730 in total.

Kaelin Black is considered a stash option because of the uncertainty surrounding Christian McCaffrey's injury, and the 49ers' history of having a reliable running back step in when needed, making him a safe play in case McCaffrey is unavailable.

The record for the most accepted penalty yardage by a referee crew in a single season is 2,600 yards, which was achieved by a crew in a recent season, making it the highest in NFL history.

Omar Cooper is the top wide receiver recommended, as he has already recorded 100+ yards per game in his first two full games and is expected to have consistent production given the Jets’ upcoming schedule.
