This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. What a play! Can you believe this? I had no idea. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races, and he stays on his feet. He's just gonna go the distance. Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath. What's up, everybody? It's time to look at the waiver wire for Week 8 on Tuesday, October 27th. We welcome you to Fantasy Football Today, presented by HIMS. Whatever's holding you back, HIMS has a real plan for it. Be confident. Be him. And who's gonna be him on the waiver? Dave's leaving. Jeez, Dave's not him right now. No, no, I'm here, I'm here. Okay. Good morning, Jamie. Hi, man, how are you? Okay, he's back, he's back, Bulls. He's back. What's up, dude? Again, another one of those weeks where Jamie and I spoke on Monday afternoon. And, you know, last week it was Devontae Adams getting this long injury timeline, and then Terry McLaurin getting hurt on Monday night. And this week, we don't have anything like Adams, but we do have the Saquon Barkley injury that definitely makes things interesting, and the Damian Pierce injury as well, as the Eagles, you know, lose two running backs last night. But what a crazy, gutty performance from Saquon Barkley. And I hope, for those of you who started him, I hope he got you enough fantasy points. You gotta admire what he did. And then Pierce gets hurt late in the game, and he's like, put me back in, and they wouldn't do it. But I hope he got you enough fantasy points, because he was having such a good game, and his absence really changed things. Anyway, let's talk about the waiver wire. Jamie, who are the top three priorities to get for week eight? I mean, there's a lot of ways this can go. You know, this can go what you need, versus what can help you long-term. So, to me, the most important thing, the most important thing, the most important player on this week's waiver wire is Seth McGowan. Because you may get a Jonathan Taylor trade at any point, and if that happens, then McGowan becomes, I think, at least a flex, potentially a number two running back, potentially a must-start guy rest of season. Obviously, the Colts offense is struggling. Taylor's been, I'd say, fantastic, despite the struggles. You know, had a big game against Minnesota on, you know, really the strength of one run. But clearly, you know what he's capable of doing. I don't think McGowan is Jonathan Taylor, or has the potential to be Jonathan Taylor, but he's going to get a number two. He's going to get a lot of work if, in fact, Taylor is traded. So, this may not happen for a couple of weeks. It may not happen at all. But if it does happen, there's a chance you might just be sitting on a potential lottery ticket. There's a bunch of rookie-wide receivers that are going to be relevant in week eight and beyond. Casey Concepcion's coming off a strong game. Caleb Douglas is coming off a strong game. Makai Lemon is coming off a strong game. They all have paths to being starting fantasy options and certainly being productive for their team. So, I just put Concepcion at the top of the list because he's coming off a strong game where he's been, as we've noted prior to last week, you know, building towards something and it finally happened. And then you have the tight ends and the quarterbacks, which could be must-start options right away. Jacoby Brissett, Geno Smith, both have the chance to play very well in week eight. Hunter Henry, TJ Hawkinson, Chigozie Mokonko, all these guys can be relevant fantasy options and starters for week eight. So, there's a lot of different ways you can go with this week's waiver wire. So, I kind of just put it as here's the running back, here's the receiver, here's the tight end. Pick your favorite option. Okay, and we do have some pretty significant players on by this week. We've got the Giants, the 49ers, the Saints, and the Texans on by. So, it's maybe particularly tough at tight end where you got two of the best tight ends in fantasy are out this week. And Jawan Johnson's been in a lot of lineups. I think he's going to be out of a lot of lineups going forward, but he's been, had been pretty reliable. Okay, so McGowan, Concepcion, Hunter Henry. And by the way, Hunter Henry, the Dolphins are 30th against tight ends. They've allowed nine points or more points to a tight end in every game. Then he gets the Packers, who are amazing against tight ends. But then after that, the Lions. So, two of his next three games for Hunter Henry are against two of the three worst teams against tight ends as of now. It's a little bit of a flimsy stat, but as of now, that's what it looks like. All right, Dave, who do you got? I'll just give you some other names because I really do think, I almost think like the top three list depends on how desperate you are for a tight end, how desperate you are for a wide receiver. I think Jamie kind of tried to like thread that needle with putting McGowan first, saying that he's a lottery ticket and we just don't know if Taylor's going to get traded anytime soon or not. Hawkinson is available in 46% of CBS Sports Leagues. He leads all Minnesota Vikings in, and red zone targets from Kyler Murray. He's interesting. I go back and forth between him versus Henry versus Okonkwo. I actually like all three of these tight ends, but I think Okonkwo is the one that's going to see the steady diet of targets. He's seen at least six in each of his last two with Jaden Daniels, and he's had at least 10 PPR points in each of his last two with Jaden Daniels. Just no red zone targets. I'm hoping that's fixed, and I'm hoping the commanders actually can get into the red zone a little bit more. Jamie talked about those other wide receivers. I don't have a really great running back to go with. So if you're desperate at running back, ooh, that was a good one. Dylan Sampson, who's out there in two-thirds of CBS Sports Leagues, got you 10 PPR points last week. He's probably the headliner as far as running backs to pick up and potentially use in week number eight. I don't know if I'm ready to go all in on Makai Lemon, speaking of the rookie receivers, just because I don't know how many Eagles pass catchers are going to be back, plus it's Tanner McKee. I don't know. I'm kind of flummoxed here because I like a lot of players. I'm not sure that there's an in-a-vacuum top three. I honestly think we need to let go with each different type of fantasy manager need right now and then build the top three based on that. Now, clearly, there is a threshold that we're talking about that's different for other sites. So Jonah Coleman, if he's available, must add across the board. Rashad White, if he's available, must add across the board. Omar Cooper Jr., if he's available, must add across the board. All three of those guys for us. Coleman's at 68%. Rashad White's at 72%. Omar Cooper Jr.'s at 81%. On other sites, they are widely available. Go make sure that those guys are not on the waiver wire and make them the most added players by far. Yes. Omar Cooper Jr. in Yahoo! Leagues is 48% rostered. Rashad White, 56%. Jonah Coleman, 35%. Oh, yeah. Those are the headliners. Yeah, on Sleeper, Cooper's 75% rostered. Rashad White is 60%. Jonah Coleman is 39%. So if we call that our top three this week, Cooper, Rashad White, Jonah Coleman, how would you rank them? I would rank them, again, depending on what you need because, like, if you go into Week 8, you need a running back, I'm going to take Rashad White over Coleman. If I'm looking long-term, I'm going to take Coleman over White. So it's kind of just dependent on, I think, what you're looking at here. I think Cooper's probably better than both just because at least what you've seen the last two weeks hopefully will be sustainable. Great matchup. Great matchup against the Raiders coming up in Week 8. But, again, it's coming down to, I think, with a lot of where we are right now, if you're in a very good spot in your fantasy league, your roster is good. You've already passed. Remember, this is some fantasy league, some fantasy managers are hitting the bye week woes right now. Some have already been past it with what their roster may have dealt with with the teams that have already had their byes. So I think it's just contingent on how you're looking at your roster. If I'm looking long-term, I'm going to prioritize guys like Antonio Williams Not necessarily over. you know, Concepcion and Douglas and those guys, because I'm going to prioritize the rookies, let's say, over, like Dave got a great suggestion on Dylan Sampson. I'm going to prioritize Kalen Black over Rashad White, potentially, if I don't need Rashad White, because if McCaffrey doesn't play in week nine or later, like this is, that's a superstar. So it comes down to, I guess, you know, where you're sort of at with your roster, short-term versus long-term. Now you can make a case, obviously, that Coleman short-term is going to be good and long-term is going to be great versus Rashad White, who may be good short-term, but we know at least there's a path to success for him without Ja'Cory Krosky-Merritt there. So there's just a lot of different ways to break this down. It's a really fascinating week on the waiver wire, and I think you're getting to the point now where a lot of desperate teams, you know, two and six, or excuse me, two and, yeah, two and five, one and six, even three and four. You know, you're maybe just emptying the bank to try and save your team. Yes. I don't know. I don't know if this is an empty-the-bank week, though, if I ask you guys how much fab we're spending here. Correct. It really does come down to what you need. But if this is final straw, like I'm desperate, desperate, desperate, like what's the rest of the season matter to? Right. I know, but I don't know that there's a guy who's going to fix my league. I mean, I think the, you know, I want to believe in Rashad White, but he hasn't had more than eight carries in a game all year, and he's only been the, you know, the lead back once, but he's only had seven carries in that game against San Francisco. I can't rely on him scoring a receiving touchdown. Philadelphia is obviously a pretty beatable matchup. I think we're seeing their defense just isn't very good. But, like, Jonah Coleman's not going to necessarily win me a week. He might be good long-term, but this week, I don't know that he's going to do much for me. I don't disagree with anything you're saying, but if you're just in one of those spots where you have McCaffrey and Woody Marks on by, and you're looking at your running back situation, and it's, I don't know, pick your poison here, whatever the crappy team you may be stuck, crappy player you may be stuck. Listen, my podcast league team, I'm done. I'm one in six, got in the win column, but I have McCaffrey and Scadaboo. So you're going to spend whatever you need to spend to get at least somebody to start for you. No one's available. But you get the point. But I would. Now, take that from a 14-team league to a 12-team league, and those guys might be available. Absolutely, yeah, I would love to. I was like, damn, I might have to go to Elijah Mitchell this week. But it seems like Saquon Barkley is optimistic about playing. Did you all watch the game last night? I don't think he should play, but he says the back issue, which was from compensating for the hamstring, that would be the big one. Like, if you just need like a one-week guy, if Saquon Barkley were going to be out this week. Well, don't rule out Damian Pierce. I know he left. We don't know what the story is. I was going to say, either Damian Pierce or Elijah Mitchell. And look, it's not like the Eagles would risk anybody's health and play them again. Why would they do that? Oh, well, yeah, I mean, they're pretty much done now. Well, I wouldn't say that, but they're probably going to act that way. But anyway, it is, I guess, could we say it's more of a long-term week than a short-term week in terms of the better players on the waiver wire? Sure. I would also say that there's enough out there, and this is just me thinking about it as we roll along here, where you might be able to satisfy short and long-term needs. I don't know if you're going to be able to do it flawlessly. I don't like your chances. I don't like getting Omar Cooper and Casey Concepcion unless you're unloading the FAB wallet. But I do think you can find players who can give you something at every position. And you can prioritize the long-term first and the short-term second. For example, you can get Jonah Coleman, and then your second waiver claim can be Dylan Sampson, and I would like to think that you'd have a pretty good shot at getting both. Okay. And I think I had a stat on Dylan Sampson. Hold on. I mean, this is, this is kind of a useless stat, but the Steelers, Dylan Sampson, he ran every route on third down. The Steelers allow the fifth most receiving yards per game to running backs. Three running backs have already had six or more catches against the Steelers, including Quinshawn Judkins. But that doesn't make me feel very confident. Like, Sampson's a dart throw, obviously. No, you're hoping for 10 PPR points. Yeah, that'd be great. I mean, I think if you get eight, I'd be happy from, but I don't know about happy. Anyway, oh, there's also Zonovan Knight. I mean, that's a guy that might be all right this week, but he keeps splitting evenly with Tyler Algier and Jeremiah Love is expected to practice this week. So he might be back this week. All right. So again, it's not a week where it's like unload the fab because we have a short thing that's going to help us in week eight, but you're going to. Unless it's one of the guys that's widely available. It's really Omar Cooper. But the receivers could clearly be startable for you if you need receiver help or flex up. I mean, Concepcion, again, five of his last six games, five of his last six healthy games, six or more targets. So he's been involved again, not guaranteed production prior to last week. His best game was against the Steelers. It was 11.4 PPR points. Like that's going to be a starter in a three receiver league. Caleb Douglas played two games so far this season. He's been productive in both of them, different ways, five catches in week one, two touchdowns in week seven. Still, there's, there's a guy that's worth investing in and hopefully continues to play well. He may get Christian Gonzalez. It could be terrible, but it's just something. That you want to, you know, at least take a shot on Antonio Williams. Last time we saw him without one of his guys on the field, he had eight targets when, when Stefan Diggs didn't play in the game in Europe. So there's an opportunity for him. Dan Quinn talked about him and his, you know, production, whatever, or his playing time is increasing. Excuse me. You have Makai Lemon. I know Dave said doesn't want to invest in him. I get it. There's, there's clearly risk involved here because of the quarterback and everything that's involved there. The commander secondary stinks. And you just saw Makai Lemon without the other two guys on the field. There's no guarantee. I guarantee that they're playing. There was the questionable report about Devante Smith getting shut down for the season. This could be their guy. Rest of way. It was certainly better than Darius Cooper, you know? So there's, there's, there are guys that are available that could start for you and you might have to spend the money to go get them. And as we've said throughout the season, playing two tight ends is not a bad thing either. You could pick up Henry and Hawkinson, Hawkinson and Okonkwo. You could find two ways to, you could find creative ways to get two of these guys into your lineup. That may not cost you a ton of fab because, because not everybody's chasing tight ends. Yeah. Listen, I'm going to be making some waiver claims today. There's no doubt with all these bi-weeks. I can't wait for the, the afternoon show when you tell me about all your waiver claims. I like to do, you know, I think it's helpful for me to do the show with having done my waiver claims. I hope it's helpful for the people to get some insight from one stupid manager with me. All right. So matchup alert. This is a guy that's not even, I don't know if he's in the column, but, but Sam Darnold, Sam Darnold has a little good, pretty, pretty good history with Seattle of doing well in good matchups. His next, I am as a drop. Yeah, but I do mention his schedule. It's, it's amazing. The next four games. Yeah. It's Seattle, it's Chicago, Arizona and the Raiders. And then a buy. And those three teams are 24th, 30th and 27th against quarterbacks. He's actually had a pretty tough schedule since the Washington game, but the Washington game, he killed Malik Willis is it's tough this week, but then just for the dolphins passing game, you know, it's new England this, this week. And then it's the lions, the Colts and the bills and Hunter Henry already mentioned three of his next four, two of his next three games are against two of the best three matchups in fantasy right now, Sunday. We do not have a Europe game. So it's just one o'clock Eastern for the, you know, the first game of the day. We'll keep our fingers crossed. Kirk Cousins is going to remain the Raiders quarterback. If you missed beyond the box score yesterday, we were talking about the Raiders and their top five or six in scoring in passing yards per game and touchdown rate. It's, I mean, they've had a really good passing offense, but it's been a little clunky lately with a lot of garbage time. Shane Steichen is not considering a quarterback change yet. Well, I was going to say he didn't say yet or anything, but that's my editorializing there. At running back, we did have both Tyrone Tracy and Cam. Cam Scadaboo leave with injuries. They go into their buy and they're at Philadelphia when they come out of their buy. Christian McCaffrey has a mild hamstring strain and he's going into his buy. So Kalon Black definitely needs to be added. We will see what happens there. Again, Saquon Barkley, he hurt his back. He re-aggravated his hamstring injury. Damian Pierce left late. I haven't seen anything on that. Have you guys seen anything on Damian? No, and it's undisclosed injury, you know, so who knows what the extent of it is, but I still think you should be trying to add Damian Pierce as of now. That could change later this afternoon if we get a report, but as of now, there's no guarantee Barkley plays and we get. And there's no guarantee Pierce plays. So if, you know, like Pierce is, I think he's rostered about half our leagues, 55%. So Elijah Mitchell had three carries and three catches and mop up duty at the end there. He might be the guy this week against Washington, right? Yeah, Washington. Uh, okay. Back to the running back news. Zach Charbonnet status is unclear. They play the bears on Monday night. Uh, Aaron Jones, you know, it seems like he came away fortunately with a minor knee injury and he hopefully able to play this week at Detroit. Uh, Jeremiah love going to practice this week. They also said that James Connor could return at some point this season could return. I don't know that we're going to get much from James Connor. Um, and Jadarian price could be back next week for Seattle. Not this week. He's going to practice this week and then he's eligible to come back next week at wide receiver. Any updates on Jalen Waddle? Chest injury. Nothing more than that. Yeah. Haven't seen anything. All right. They get the chiefs this week. It's weird that they're, they're five and two, right? That's wild. Uh, they did lose to the chiefs in week one though. Um, Dan Quinn said that he doesn't expect Stefan digs to take on a larger role. And I think that's, you know, pretty, pretty important. He's still always going to have kind of limited snaps and that's going to free up more stuff for Antonio Williams and Chico Conquo, et cetera. Sunday night, Washington hosting Philadelphia. Matthew Golden plays on Thursday for what it's worth. He was listed as a did not practice with foot and shoulder issues. We'll keep an eye on that. I think we're still expecting Matthew Golden at this point. And we got turf toe for Liam Cohen for Jalen Noel. Liam Cohen's toes are fine. He supported Brian Thomas jr. He said he feels like he's going to help us make a play. What am I? Yeah. Did I say something wrong, Dave? Cause I sent you a turf. Yeah. Toes are fine. Um, and, uh, that's, uh, we have, uh, two long-term injuries at offensive line, Taylor Moten out for the season for Carolina, their right tackle. He hadn't really been playing. Was this his first game back? Second. Second game back. So he hadn't really been playing. They had been getting by without him. Uh, and then Venga Yohane is going to miss some weeks with an MCL injury. It's of guard for the Ravens and the, so not only on this Thursday night game of green Bay hosting Carolina as Taylor Moten out, but green Bay is going to probably have its third string center for that game. Let's get our top three at each position. We haven't really talked about the quarterbacks, Jamie, who's on the quarterback list this week. Uh, you got Gino Smith, uh, Jacobi, you're setting Gino Smith would be the top two guys to go get. Um, you're looking at both of them in, I think favorable matchups this week for seconds, Dallas. I think you should have an opportunity here. Very similar. Set up to what we have with Detroit a couple of weeks ago, where you expect Dallas to come in, put up points because defense has been struggling. Hopefully Brissette doesn't get benched. Uh, but if he stays in the game, he actually, I thought played, you know, for what he typically does. I thought he played well last week. Um, had, you know, it's not of a night job to touchdown. Um, we'll see if, you know, he, he, again, doesn't get too far behind where the Cardinals are, you know, especially Carson Beck is healthy. Just like, Hey, we've, we've seen enough. It's time to, you know, maybe explore other options, but I think Jacobi Brissette could be considered. The low and number one quarterback for this week. And then you have, uh, Gino coming off his second best game of the season, 29 and a half fantasy points against Miami. And now he gets to take on the Raiders. And that defense has been awful. Number six, most fancy points allowed to the position. Number three to me is a toss up. I'm just going to go Michael Penix just because he's been playing very well. His last two games. This is not an easy matchup against Tampa Bay. They've done very well against opposing quarterbacks. As we've seen, it just made Bryce young look awful. Um, but we'll see if he just has to, uh, you know, continue to put up points. You can put Malik Willis in the third. You could potentially put Baker Mayfield in third spot. Uh, I just think given that, uh, Willis is matchup difficult. Same thing. Uh, Baker, haven't seen anything from him yet as a fantasy option that makes you want to trust him. Maybe that changes if a book of plays this week, but I just think I'll ride the hot hand of Penix. If I'm going to take a shot on the third quarter. Gino Smith facing the Raiders. You mentioned how bad they've been five straight quarterbacks scored 20 more or 21 or more fantasy points in six point per passing touchdown. These against the Raiders. That's Chuck Mahomes. Drake May, Josh Allen, and Matthew Stafford. It's not exactly easy competition, but they have been giving up points. Uh, when you look at Brissette and Smith, how would you compare them to Kirk Cousins at the Jets and Aaron Rodgers, uh, against Cleveland, who he actually lit up a few weeks ago? Cousins over both. And then Rodgers after both. So Cousins, Brissette, Gino Rodgers. Cousins, Brissette, Gino Rodgers. Yes. Dave agree. I might. I have Gino at the top of that list. I got to double check my rankings, but Brissette isn't quite as high. I, I love the, the narrative plus the matchup for Gino Smith. Okay. I've got cousins, Gino golf, which I mean, we're not picking them up off waivers, but just to let you know how low he is getting in the rankings this week. Uh, and then Brissette's after that. I, I don't know how you guys feel, but when we have one of the elite offenses in football facing one of the elite defenses in football, I don't even know what adjective to describe. I don't know if I like it. I don't know if I hate it. I know I hate it from a fantasy standpoint, but I like it from a content standpoint because it's so interesting. But with the lions facing the Vikings and the bears facing the Seahawks, I just wonder what fantasy managers are going to do in these situations. Are you going to go to the waiver wire? Cause you just mentioned golf in there and like, are you going to get Brissette? It's in stardom over Jared golf and you know, it's a, it's a tough call. So what would you tell the, the Brissette? I would, would you tell the golf and Caleb Williams managers this week? Start your guys. Probably. It depends if, if you, if you buy into why you would start Gino against a terrible Raiders defense with revenge on his mind. And you feel a little bit better with that, especially after I'm having such a big game. Yes. File this under gets too cute, but I think you can make the case for him ahead of golf or Caleb. I gave you, I gave you two examples. That sort of fit this narrative. Uh, one league, I think it might've been against you, Adam. Um, I had to know it was another league, but I did the same thing. Picked up Gino Smith for both. Uh, one league where you crushed me with him. Yeah. Uh, yes, but that was my home. So it was a little easier, but one league where I have, it's our, uh, draft to fund league. I have, um, Lamar Jackson and Jane Daniels. I'm obviously not dropping those guys. I had to pick up a quarterback. So I had to carry three quarterbacks. Gino Smith was the third, picked them up. And I think it was the difference in, in winning the game. Another league where it's a 20, a 20 league, um, 20 man league where we use team quarterbacks. So it's not even like you could pick up a backup to, to maybe take a chance on. Um, I was just punting the week essentially. Cause I have Josh Allen and the other team was significantly better than me on paper. I still won without a quarterback. Without a quarterback. Wow. And I, and the reason that, the reason I bring that up. is because you can still get by with Jared Goff having a mediocre game or Caleb Williams having a mediocre game. So I don't think Dave's wrong in ranking those guys ahead of Goff. I have Goff ahead of them slightly. The thing is, and I think I said this last week in regards to one of these situations, you don't want to make drastic roster changes for one week unless you're just overwhelmingly convinced that Geno Smith is going to be better than Jared Goff or Jacoby Brissett better than Jared Goff. Don't drop somebody of significance that you have some faith in. Yeah, certainly. But I have a lot of Goff. He's my most rostered quarterback, and I am going to try to pick up Brissett and start him. I don't think I'd do it with Geno, but I'm going to try with Brissett because this stat, my favorite stat of the week, the Minnesota Vikings have allowed four touchdown passes in their last 14 games dating back to last season. One of them was the Christian Watson, I think, 80-yard touchdown where it should have been called back on an illegal block in the back. It was a little fluky to begin with, but that Jordan Love is the only guy who's thrown multiple touchdowns in a game in those 14 games. I can't wait to break down this Lions-Vikings game. I mean, the Vikings really haven't been challenged that much. They've faced a pretty easy schedule, but my God, are they good defensively so far. It's a fun week with those two matchups from an analyst standpoint, having to make these decisions to break down the games. All right, Dave, sorry for getting off track there. I want to just bring up one last thing because I think it's an important point. What is that? That line of demarcation for players that we're willing to cut to go and get a Geno, a Brissette, a Penix to replace a starter that we just don't feel confident in. I'm going to give you four names. They all have something in common. Would you drop Jawan Johnson? Yeah. Would you drop Kendre Miller? Easily. Yeah, probably. Would you drop Tyler Shuck? No. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, you have to. Would you drop Devon Vele? Yeah, they're all on vice, and they're all in situations where they, they can be replaced. That's the point, is that these are all guys that, if you're looking at them, you're going, oh, I'm not sure if I should drop them. Man, those are easier drops. If it's, obviously you're not going to drop somebody like Olave to go and get one of those guys, but that's kind of the range that you need to look at. It's guys that are just below the stars you're going to hang on to. The guys that are just totally mediocre and replaceable, yeah, you'll cut them to try and upgrade a quarterback and win a week. So I think the other layer to this also is like, if you're looking at it, you have Goff, and he's your only quarterback, and it's either a waiver situation, and you're near the top, or you're spending your last little bit of fab, I'm trying to go get somebody like Concepcion or one of these players, as opposed to trying to get a second quarterback. That's a good point, yeah. And then I wouldn't drop someone, like I'm thinking about my Goff league. I have Emmitt Johnson, Kyle Menangai. I'm not dropping them to pick up Jacoby Brissett. I'm not dropping my high upside handcuff that could be huge for me later in the year. I might drop like, whatever. I think we've covered it. Well, enough. All right. And just so you know, if you're making this decision, I haven't done my Caleb Williams research yet, but I did do my Jared Goff research. He's played Brian Flores four times. He's had two good games from anywhere from 20 to 23 and a half fantasy points in six point leagues to two terrible games. And last year, four fantasy points in the second matchup against the Lions. And he came in red hot. Dave, who are the best running backs to get this week? Again, I said the Lions. I meant the Vikings. Sorry, Dave, who are the best running backs to get? This is going to be gross. And I don't know. I don't even have a top three for each of these. So I've got two running backs that I think are usable this week. I just don't know if you should have high expectations for now. It's not of a night, although it does sound like Jeremiah Love has a chance to play. So don't go crazy there. The next best one for me for this week is Dylan Sampson. The third best one. So I guess I do have three names is Samaj P Ryan. If we're stashing, Kalon Black is already rostered in 60% of leagues, but he's the one that I would want to have stashed. Seth McGowan would be second. And then I would guess, Tyrone Tracy would be third on that stash list, but it's not great. Let's just call that list two names. So if you're really desperate at running back, and we're believing that Jeremiah Love is going to play, there's really no need to go and add Zoneman Knight, which means Dylan Sampson is probably your best running back. Unless we hear at some point on Tuesday that Saquon isn't a lot to play. Damian Pierce is going to be out for a while. And then you can go and pick up Elijah Mitchell and buy into workload, carrying him through. Just let me throw out one more name here. For shallower leagues for Yahoo, where he's 71% rostered sleeper, 75%. What would you do with Emmanuel Wilson right now? I think you got to consider a must-add guy. So, you know, if you don't have Charbonnet and look, there is a chance that Darian Price could play this week. I don't think he's going to, but I don't think so. I thought, I'm sorry. I thought he had to miss one more game. Yeah, I think so too. I think he's going to practice this week and they're going to activate him, but he's been inactive for, Oh no, I'm an idiot. I'm so sorry. You're absolutely right. He could play this week, but he's going to, he is going to practice this week. I thought they were kind of looking. Yup. I'm just wrong. He's eligible. He could play this week. You're right. My bad. So given the Charbonnet news last week, they'll probably be cautious with it. But yeah, I mean, I think even if price plays, I don't think he's stepping into the lead role. I think he's stepping into a complimentary role. So Wilson, if he's the featured act, it's 13 PPR points or more in three of the last four games. And heavy workloads in three of the last four games. So taking on the bears, I think you got to consider a mustad. Jonah Coleman would be on the stash list as well. If he's available, he would top the stash list. I'm very sorry that I screwed that up earlier with Jadarian price people. That is my fault. Okay. Dave, Jamie best wide receivers to get. Yeah. All rookies. Number one would be Concepcion again, coming off that game where he just had with 10 targets and eight catches, 129 yards. Caleb Douglas again, played two full games, so far this season, he's been over 12 PPR points in both of those. And then Antonio Williams, you know, hopefully gets that bump that we're hoping for without Terry McLaurin on the field. So you referenced that, you know, Dan Quinn said not a big role, not a huge role change coming for Stefan digs. And he listed a bunch of receivers, but Williams is certainly the one that has the most upside of the guys on, on the team. But again, Makai lemons in this, in this discussion, you can throw Khalil Shakir if you want to kill Coleman's roster in a few too many leagues. But if DJ Moore is out once again, Shakira has been 11 PPR points or more in three straight games. And then just the, the, the sneaky one is Travis Hunter going into their bi-week, you know, he was certainly more involved and, you know, we'll see, you know, you, you re you referenced a toes Coleman toes Cohen with his, his, his comments on Brian Thomas. I'd like to see it for Thomas. My guess is they're going to continue to give Hunter more opportunities because I think he deserves it. He looked pretty good. He ran seven routes, had four targets, caught them all for 59 yards and a touchdown. It's it's really, he's so good. Yeah. And from what I understand, Liam Cohen, his socks are completely intact. No, no issues there with this. I have a lot to learn from that man, Dave, who are the top three tight ends to get? This is an exciting list and I'm up for debate on who should be number one on this list. I'm just going to give them to you an alphabetical order by last name, because I am not sure which one, I love the best of this list, but Hunter Henry would be first on the alphabetical order followed by TJ Hawkinson followed by Chico Conquo. And there are positives for all three of these guys. In the case of Henry, we've seen it. It's now four straight games with at least 11.2 PPR points. He doesn't always get a ton of targets last week. He had seven, but I like his role is not only a check down guy for, for Drake may, but he he's used in the red zone too. And I can't say the same thing for both Hawkinson and O'Connor. Well with Hawkinson, he does get red zone work. Yes, but he doesn't get the same type of check down volume, but he does get occasional downfield throws from Kyler Murray. The difference is, is that it's Kyler Murray. It's not Drake may and the target volume. You, you wish it could be even higher for TJ Hawkinson. Now, Alconco has got the targets in each of his last few games, at least six targets. I think he looks great when you watch him run. He's got some speed to him. And obviously he's a size mismatch. He has as many red zone targets this year as the three of us combined, which is zero. So that's something that kind of sticks in the back of my mind and might make them more of a PPR ad, but I do think his role will stick for the commanders who are probably going to have a tough time running the ball Patriots, not to the same extent. They can run the ball a little bit. We know the Vikings can too. So that does give some appeal to Oconco. The bottom line is that we can talk about these three. We can come to a consensus because I'm not married to alphabetical order or whatever, but you, if you, if you need a tight end and Jamie, I mentioned this or a flex, these guys are in the conversation. And to me, they're the top three. So Henry Hawkinson and Oconco in alphabetical order. And that is, I believe the way Jamie has them ranked Henry Hawkinson, Oconco. I think it just comes down. Like Henry is easy one for me at the top. Um, Hawkinson and Oconco, I think comes down to short term versus longterm because Hawkinson. Yes. Scored last week, uh, against the Colts. Bad game for Jefferson, bad game for Addison. Those two guys, I think are going to Jefferson is obviously going to be the priority. And Addison will still have, you know, I think in contention for second on the team and targets most weeks for the commanders, there's a loss clearly in McLaurin and that absence has to be filled by somebody. And as Dave alluded to Oconco, the last two games has been, you know, very productive. That could be sustainable. Hawkinson could disappear. So if you, if you want somebody just for this week, I would lean toward Hawkinson. If you want somebody rest of season, I would go Oconco. Okay. And I guess I didn't realize that. until now. So I've always kind to put Jamie on a pedestal, you know, is just such a brilliant analyst. I didn't realize until now that he was just always doing this in alphabetical order. I guess that's usually pretty easy way to, to write the way. Well, that's why after, after Oconquo, then we get to Mason Taylor, you know, so he's fourth, you know, just going down the P in there. Did you do it with rookie receivers too? Concepcion, Douglas, Williams? No. I have Williams ahead of Lemon, so no. Do you have Tyler Algier at the top of your running back? No, but I do have him as the top of the drop list. So yes, he's. Well, let's see if we do this with DSDs because now it's time for coverage. You can count on sponsored by Nationwide. Just like your fantasy roster is more than just your offensive starters. Nationwide is a great insurance company and one of America's largest financial services companies. So don't forget about the defensive side of the ball and remember that Nationwide is on your side. Which DST are we looking at, Jamie? Jaguars. Number one DST this week for me. Taking on the Colts, that offense has been absolutely miserable. And you may not have Jonathan Taylor by the end of the week. Who knows how this all unfolds. So I think the Jaguars make the most sense. The Bengals, look, the Titans offense played much better than I expected against the Browns. Tony Pollard had a huge game. Bengals second half shut down that Bravens offense completely. And hopefully that carries over to next week. And then for what it's worth, the Bears defense, they've been playing well and the Seahawks offense has not been playing very well. So the Bears would be third on the list. You can throw the Cowboys on this list as well. You know, coming off an okay game, taking on a Cardinals offense that we know at times Jacoby Brissett can be turnover prone. I might be missing a team or two in there, but I think the Jaguars are the one to go get their 44% rostered right now. Everybody dropped them off their bye week. They should be 100% rostered with this matchup against Indianapolis. And Jamie also likes Cam Little at kicker, but that was coverage you can count on sponsored by Nationwide. Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company. They're one of America's largest financial companies to take your game to the next level with Nationwide for your insurance and financial needs. Nationwide is on your side. And yeah, it's Cam Little and Chris Boswell and Matt Gay are the three kickers that Jamie recommends. Not in a, um, well it is if you go by first name. That's true. Cam, Chris, Matt. There you go. Um, all right, we're going to take a break. You cracked the code. I can't believe that I've been found out 20 years later. Uh, all right. Well, uh, we'll be right back with, um, more of the waiver wire, shallow leagues, deep leagues, and the rest. As a young adult, finding the right path to your future can feel overwhelming. Key, not Keon Coleman, but he is actually in this conversation. Omar Cooper jr. Um, Rashad and Jonah Coleman are three guys that you want to be making sure are not available. You pick them up, but Jamie, who are some other shallow leaguers that are must ads if they're not available? Uh, so Kirk cousins, you know, coming off another strong game, I think it's now 22, um, 22.5 PP of fantasy points in five of his last six games. So great matchup against, um, against the jets and then Rogers 70% rostered. Uh, he should do well, presumably against the Browns, but he had 27.9 fantasy points against them in the week four game. The running backs are, you know, several good options. You mentioned Jonah Coleman or shot white. Um, I think as you alluded to, um, Emmanuel Wilson, Rico Dattle had a very strong game in London, excuse me, in, in Paris against the saints and, you know, seemingly can work in tandem with, with Jalen Warren. So, uh, somebody should be rostered, obviously a lottery ticket in case there is an absence for, uh, for Warren at any point, the receivers, there's several ways you can go with this position. Uh, Omar Cooper jr. Would be the headliner here. Uh, Debo Samuel says he's going to come back in week nine. There's no week. Yeah. Pause right there. I mean, I, I think you could make a case for Debo over Omar Cooper jr. You absolutely could. Um, you know, sure. 15 PPR points or more in three of his first four games. If there is no Samuel and you know, God forbid there's no McCaffrey, then Samuel can get some additional carries on top of that. So it's definitely worth, you know, investing in, in Samuel, you have an injury replaced a couple of injury replacements, uh, potential guys in Godwin and Keon Coleman Godwin. Um, as you discussed yesterday, what a massive, massive, massive target share that he had. Um, did we discuss that? I didn't know. Uh, with, uh, with the Mecca Abuka injured and Abuka may not return from his concussion in week eight. Uh, Keon Coleman has scored a touchdown in three straight games. He's been 12 PPR points or more in four of the five games that DJ more has either missed or left early. So there's a guy that could be beneficial to you there. Jacoby Myers, uh, had 10 targets in his last game before the bi-week. Um, Keenan Allen, I'm just going to throw out at you. You referenced all the time throughout the Minnesota game. Uh, prior to that, he was good in two of his previous three games. And I think he's the only Colts receiver worth rostering tight end does not really have anybody in this range. The only person that I listed was Pat Friermuth with the hope that he can get back on track, but he's clearly struggled the last two weeks. Uh, did you mention Trey Tucker? Did I miss that? He's like 90 some odd percent roster on CBS, but on ESPN and Yahoo, he's right around 60% roster. Yeah. We talked about him in depth yesterday on beyond the box score and being basically, I mean the Jamison comparison was made and quite frankly, it's a pretty good one. And he scored more fantasy points so far this year than Jamison Williams more per game. Uh, so yeah, he, he would have to be rostered. Dave sent me, I got to give him credit. I mean, a legendary text yesterday of, uh, the rankings tool that you guys use. And, uh, he just, he sent me a picture and it said, should I, and it had Chris Godwin one, number one, Jackson Smith, the jig, but number two, for, uh, for week eight. So I got a nice kick out of that, but I went back. You're not going to mention the other picture. I said, Oh, the next one was Godwin at number three at the very bottom number like 387. Yeah. Um, no, he's top 40 this week. I, I ranked him without being a dummy. One thing that you go back and watch the tape. I didn't love this about Godwin is the four of his five targets were screen passes. So it's not like he was getting open downfield. If you told me he was going to guarantee to get four screen passes, that'd be great, but that's probably not going to happen again. Um, it was kind of stupid, but yeah, I can't have five targets on 11 pass attempts. Isn't bad. I watched him too. I do think he moved okay for an older receiver with so many injuries in his past, uh, you know, beat man coverage on the touchdown that was called back on a short out route. He's going to have a game at some point where you're just going to, you know, pump your fist at him and say, yeah, Chris Godwin's only if a book is out, it's only if a book is out. No, he's going to do, he's going to have a game at some point. We say you could say this literally about anybody that plays football. So when he does, you can take your victory. Okay. Um, I guess I, I did pick him up in a few leagues. I'm not going to drop him until I see a book is going to play, you know, I mean, unless I don't need them, but okay. Anyway, enough on him for the rest of the year. And, uh, that's it for the shallow leagues. But Dave, like none of those guys are available in my leagues. Cause I play in deep leagues. What? So what would you recommend Dave? Cause none of these guys are available. I got diddly poo on the waiver wire in my leagues. So assuming that you can't get your cloppies on gene overset appendix is out there in 65% of CBS leagues. Malik Willis is an interesting stash. How about his last couple of games? Not too bad. He's available in 75% of CBS sports leagues. Uh, we could talk about a couple of the, the two QB options, but I don't know if there's anybody that's just, Lighting the world on fire. J.J. McCarthy. It played so well. He played great. So the numbers might come eventually, but I would imagine that he's already rostered in a bunch of those two QB leagues. Yeah, but I'm talking one QB leagues. Like, is he worth a stash? I don't think you have to. No, you don't have to. All right, keep going. Yeah, no problem. Dylan Sampson, already talked about him, two-thirds. Elijah Mitchell is available in 99% of CBS Sports leagues. How about the Chargers running backs? Are we sure that they're going to come back and still use three guys? Does it even matter? I don't even know, but we know that Hampton's already rostered in too many leagues, but Kamani Vidal has looked better for three straight games now. If you want to talk about a deep stash, 14-plus team league, I think Vidal makes sense. He's available in two-thirds of leagues. Keaton Mitchell was one of my early season favorites. He's out there in 70% of leagues. The stash list, Seth McGowan is the headliner there. He's available in 85% of leagues. Wide receivers, two of the three rookies. I want to mention something about Concepcion a little bit later, but Caleb Douglas, Antonio Williams, they're out there in at least 70% of leagues. Makai Lemmon's out there in 65% or so. Ryan Flanoy is out there in about 85% of leagues. Travis Hunter, 93% of leagues. We already talked about him. He's also getting a target per route run rate of 50%. So maybe he's the next Chris Godwin. At tight end, talked about a bunch of other dudes. Okonkwo, obviously, is going to be out there in a ton of leagues. Not enough people picked him up during his bye week. Eli Raritan has actually put up some halfway decent numbers. He's like, he's like the the junior Hunter Henry, and he'll probably end up being a breakout candidate in in our rankings for 2027 leagues out there in 97% of leagues. I don't know what kind of world you're living in, where he would be available and useful for fantasy. But if you're absolutely desperate and if you can't get Mason Taylor, who's rostered in even fewer leagues than Eli Raritan, then he would be the the guy to go to. I should have mentioned Mason Taylor first because he's out there, available, ready to go in over 95% of CBS sports leagues. I think if we're looking at just super deep league guys that are barely rostered. Elijah Mitchell could certainly come into play, but Travis Hunter is probably the one that has. The most upside that could contribute just you. I don't know, because do you see a world where he's playing even 30 snaps a game on offense? I don't know, man. Like, right. I don't think valuable on defense for them to put him in that position. So if he's playing, what did you say? Seven? Routes or seven snaps last week? Seven routes for targets. Yeah. Okay, let's let's double it to 14. Are you going to be comfortable starting somebody that, you know, is only going to be playing 14 or even as even though he's exceptional? No, I don't know. I don't know if I'd feel great about carrying him outside of deep leagues. And there's some leagues where you're going to get points for both what he does in offensive defense, but he's already rostered in those leagues. No, no, I mean, you know that I'm just saying this only for deep leagues. And I honestly think, you know, you could look at maybe some of the buck and ears if a book is out again, like, I forget it. Why am I even talking about this? Let's go to our next segment, which is Dallas 38, Philadelphia 21. Was this a good game or a bad game for George Pickens? Because he had four catches for 57 yards and a touchdown, which is awesome. But it only had six targets. Ryan Flannoying is getting, you know, enough to be Flannoying. He had four targets, but Dak Prescott only threw 27 passes. They ran the ball so well. Jamie, was this a good game or a bad game, in your opinion, looking to the future for George Pickens? A little of both. They made reference to him dealing with a shoulder injury during the game. So something to keep an eye on there, certainly for Ryan Flannoy, who has scored 11 PPR points in three straight games. And you know, another guy that you can look at and just say, OK, maybe not great production, but certainly enough to get me by if I'm stuck. And he's only rostered in 16 percent of leagues. But yeah, I think any time. Pickens can get you north of 12 PPR points. You're going to be happy about that, given how the season has gone for him. So I would I would say overall good game. But the shoulder injury could be a concern. You don't want him to miss the game against Arizona. Someone wants to know, can you talk more about Mackay Lemon? Sure. Yes, we can. He fits well with what Tanner McKee is best at, which is getting the ball out quick and throwing like five yards downfield. And so as long as he continues to earn. Targets that way, and he gets open against zone coverage and he can make guys miss. He's kind of like Casey Concepcion, where he gets a lot of those short area targets with the hope that he breaks a tackle or finds open space and turns it into a big play. Had the nice touchdown inside of the in the red zone for sure. I don't remember if it was inside the ten. I think it was. So if there's more of that, that's great. The problem is, is does does Devante Smith come back because he can run routes short, too? And he's better than Mackay Lemon does. He's better than any of the guys I've ever seen. earn targets as a downfield guy not that wicks is good for fantasy anymore because he does not fit well with what Tanner McKee does, but it's just another mouth to feed in that offense. I can't say that Lemon is someone that we can expect big things from just because he scored against Dallas. No, but they got Washington this week and. Great matchup. It is a good matchup. Right. But that's what he does. That's his role. But you remember the knock on the situation coming out of the draft. Well, Jalen Hurst doesn't throw over the middle of the field, so Makai Lemon, what he does best, is not going to fit what Jalen Hurst does. And then we see a game without the top two receivers available and a quarterback that's going to throw over the middle of the field like you said get the ball quick but he's going to look in that range yes and lemon has this fantastic performance so you have that coupled with again we talked about this sunday friday i don't remember monday yesterday adam of the day's kind of fudged together the stupid report that seemed or the seemingly stupid report of davante smith being shut down um if that does come to fruition because maybe they just decide why risk his injury or it's a long-term injury for smith then lemon becomes very i think prominent for fantasy manager that would help i think yeah i think you could make the case he's an absolute must-add because davante smith has been dealing with this hamstring injury since the pre-season it keeps popping up on him and you know when we look at a guy is he gonna he missed the week is he gonna play the next week one of the things is did he practice last week how close was he to playing in this game he didn't practice so he wasn't even close to playing in this Monday night game they had an extra day to play and get ready he wasn't ready so I think you got it at least today on Tuesday you can again tell me if I'm wrong you got to approach it as if Devante Smith is not going to play I don't know about Dontabian Wicks but you tell me Makai Lemon is the number one receiver for this team against Washington you know that's that's exciting I think um well it's it's intriguing it's enticing I don't know So if you take away the touchdown that Lemon had, it's his first receiving touchdown of the year. He would have had six catches for 63 yards, and the 12.3 PPR points would have been a season high for him. That's what I would hope for. I get where you're coming from, and I don't hate it. So he's in that mix. Just remember, and only one of these past four games that he's played in was with Devontae Smith. He's seen six-plus targets for four straight weeks now, and he was never above 10 PPR points until last night. You're going to laugh at this, but I'm going through it as we're talking. I just moved Mekhi Lemon and Antonio Williams, and now it's in alphabetical order. Now it's in alphabetical order? Let's go. All right. I had some guys on the drop-o-meter, but I deleted some of them. So I'll tell you who remains. I made a mistake in my notes here. Jawan Johnson, drop-o-meter. Eight. Cortland Sutton, I think you can't drop him right now, right? You could. You could. So let's put him at a four, and that's probably the lowest number he's been in a month. And it's because of Waddle's injury. I'll put him at a two. How about Denzel Boston? Would you drop Denzel Boston? Zero. I'd prefer not to. Put him on the twos. Wandale Robinson. Six. 11 if it's half PPR, non-PPR. It's probably closer to 8 even if it's full PPR. All right. You know what? I'm going to pull up the roster trends here. Tank Dell, drop or hold? Drop. He's very droppable. How about Malik Washington? Five. He has not played well when Douglas has been healthy. so i'll say seven and he's very similar to wanda robinson half and non-ppr he's 100 trouble are you guys expecting dj more to play this week because boy does that make a difference for keon coleman yes you are expecting it okay yes that's an we expect it but that doesn't mean it's going to happen so if i have keon coleman and you're looking at mckay lemon i'm i assume you put lemon first you put lemon first but but if if more were out you'd much rather it's short term, long term. If you know right now DJ Moore is out, I'd rather start Keon Coleman this week. If you know that Moore is going to play, I wouldn't even want to roster Keon Coleman by comparison to Mekhi Lemon. And you could argue that Lemon's got a good short term anyway, because Devontae Smith right now is dealing with this hamstring. And against Washington. All right, so to the waiver wire, just anything that we missed. We ranked it earlier. Jamie went Cousins, Brissette, Geno Smith, Aaron Rodgers. Dave went, I think it was cousins i went cousins gino uh bursette and then rogers yeah okay um and then after that it's kind of tough this week you know it's michael panics but tampa bay just they are apparently really good on defense Tampa Bay has held Jordan Love, Joe Burrow, Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott, and Bryce Young to 17.1 or fewer fantasy points in six-point-per-pass and touchdown. That's Michael Penix's matchup. Could be tough for him. I will say this, and I think Tampa Bay's defense is better. He also faced a tough defense in San Francisco and did really well. He did, yeah, he did. But Tampa is just like. Relentless with their pass rush, right? But if you look at the numbers, points allowed, etc., they're very close. Do you think they win their division, Tampa? No. It's a great question, because Atlanta looked good last week and has looked good at times with Penix, and obviously Carolina's looked good at times. I think New Orleans is definitely out of the race. If I had to put money on a team right now, depending on the odds, I might go Tampa. What if the odds were 3-1? Yeah. That's just food for thought for those who choose to participate in such activities. For entertainment purposes only. Which division? Which division's worse? NFC East or South? The South. It's worse than the East? I don't know if it's worse. They're both pretty bad at this point. Yeah, like the Eagles are a train wreck right now. Yeah, and Washington's got all kinds of problems. I mean, the Giants? I think the Cowboys can get hot and be as scary. But I think the Giants can keep rolling like they are, too. It's going to be an interesting finish between them. I think the Giants can keep rolling like they are, too. Yeah, well, the Giants beat them in Week 1, so that helps for them. Malik Willis, you know, two straight games with over 20 fantasy points, and he's doing it with his legs. He's got a rushing touchdown and at least 37 yards, so this is hopefully. 110 yards rushing his last two games. Yeah, and two touchdowns. Hopefully what we're getting here from him. New England's tough this week, but Detroit Colts bills after that, so Malik Willis, you know, good setup. Doesn't necessarily mean like he didn't do well against the Raiders. That's a great matchup, but he's actually. He had a pretty tough schedule other than that. Mm-hmm. He's a great stash, and if your quarterback has a bye in Weeks 9, 10, 11, he could be your bye-week replacement. You can get him now if you want. I was really high on Baker Mayfield preseason, and he has had a tough schedule, and then last week wasn't a tough matchup, but he only threw 11 passes. Yeah, he just didn't have to do anything. You know, I don't know. Yeah, I'm not ready to run to Baker at this point. All right, J.J. McCarthy played better than the fantasy points, 20 of 28 for 252 yards against the Texans, but didn't score a touchdown, and he's got a good schedule coming out of his bye because Philadelphia, I mean, they've been a good matchup. Washington after that, and then Fernando Mendoza, it seems at some point it's going to happen. I made the case for Sam Darnold. I think most people are in the same boat here. It's like one quarterback league, you know, you don't have to go to these guys for the most part, and we're not there with Bo Nix coming off a good game. He's facing the Chiefs this week at running back. Check to see if Emmanuel Wilson and Rico Dowdle and Jadarian Price and Rashad White and Jonah Coleman and Mike Washington are available. We've spoken a lot about Coleman and White. Is Emmanuel Wilson in the same boat as them or clearly behind Jonah Coleman and Rashad White? I would say behind from an ad standpoint, but if you told me right now that there's no Charbonnet or Price for this week, I would start him over the other two guys, so it's kind of one of those tricky situations where we just don't know how it's going to play out by the end of the week. Wilson has been very good in three of the last four games. White's been decent in three of his last four games as well, 11.1 PPR points or more. There's more long-term appeal for both him and Coleman because we don't know when Ja'Cory Kroski-Merritt's going to return from his groin injury. He has to miss at least three more games. And then you have, you know, this Coleman situation where Sean Payton says we have to get him more work. He just comes off of IR and leads them in snaps, in total yards, in routes run, in targets, you know, in I think it was targets, or tied for targets with RJ Harvey. Like, there's just a huge opportunity here, but they're not going to just say, okay, JK and RJ go sit down. We're not going to play you. You know, those guys are still going to get touches and opportunities, so it's going to be crowded, and it could be very crowded in the Seattle backfield as well. We don't know how that's going to play out either. Okay, and the running backs that are widely available, Seth McGowan is the sneaky one here with Jonathan Taylor potentially being traded. We'll see what happens. As I said to you yesterday, if we get to four o'clock today, and Jonathan Taylor is traded, he is the most added player by a mile. The trade deadline, by the way, is not for another couple of weeks. It's between weeks nine and ten. Correct, but if you are looking to acquire a running back, you do so before the trade deadline because he can easily get hurt. Well, that's true, yeah. Okay, we've got. And don't be surprised if the Colts decide to sit Taylor, if that's the case. Yeah, it's not a good night, but yeah, it's just a tough week because, you know, Jeremiah Love might play. Cowboys are a good matchup. Damian Pierce. I wonder if the Cardinals stick to what their plan is, which is using Algier as the second guy after what they've seen from Knight. Yeah, they can move Knight to the second guy. Yeah, that was kind of BS, though, because again, it was pretty even last week with Knight. No, no, what I'm saying is Algier was in that second role with Love. Right. If Love returns, is Knight now the second guy? Oh, oh. I don't know if they're ready to do that. Yeah. Agreed. So, I mean, it would make sense because Knight's a better runner than Algier at this point, but does Algier do the little things better than Knight? Question mark. Should we be buying low on Jeremiah Love? We'll talk about that tomorrow. Sure. You got the Eagles situation. The Commanders have had a good run defense this year, but they haven't been quite as good the last few weeks. But we just don't know who the running back's gonna be. So Damian Pierce, 55% rostered. Elijah Mitchell, 1% rostered. Then you got Kalon Black. You got Devin Singletary. I'll ask you, though, you know, Devin Singletary is really, if both guys are hurt coming out of the bye in Week 9 at Philadelphia. But let's say everyone's healthy. Do you think Tyrone Tracy is worth rostering? He's 54% rostered and he split pretty evenly with Skadaboo before his injury. It's one of those things where the reason I listed Singletary first is because he's the healthy one. So I referenced both guys in the story. I think you should clearly take a look at Tracy because you've got the narrative coming into the week of, it was gonna be a 1-1-1-A. Tracy gets the touchdown in the second quarter. He looked okay as well. Before he left, I don't think he only played 10 snaps. Skadaboo looked awesome once he finally got going. But the Skadaboo injury track record is there. And if Tracy's healthy and Skadaboo's hamstring injury lingers, I mean, he got flagged for personal foul for running into a player. It was stupid. But, you know, that's just his style of play. If he has to miss any time, Tracy could be that guy for the Giants. I just think Singletary short-term may be their starter in a weeknight. Are these guys that you think about adding on a Saturday afternoon where you drop a Saints player who you don't think you need anymore, and you stash them and get ahead of because these guys are going to be on your waiver wire list next week, too, as guys to consider with your third waiver claim or fourth waiver claim. There's no screaming priority to get either Giants running back, but they might be guys that if you've got the room, you make the move on Saturday to get them. Not Tuesday. Okay, Dave has mentioned Dylan Sampson and Samaj. It's gross. Yeah, we're looking for guys that might get you somewhere between 7 and 10 PPR points. And so here's that list. These are running backs where let's say you prioritize other positions or you get you put him from a gallon first and you just need a warm body to help you out in week number eight. Sampson is at the top of the list for me, followed by P. Ryan. And then it's just it's so gross. Like you're just hoping for a touchdown from Chris Rodriguez or a little bit more work from Kamani by Dell a miracle from Tyler Algier to be perfectly frank. Elijah Mitchell comes into the fray as well. But those are the running backs that you could always double back for with your four, fifth, six waiver claims if if you need a running back for week eight. All right. So wide receiver, we've discussed Omar Cooper Jr. is a must have, but so is Debo Samuel if he's available, even though they have a buy this week. You know, that's a guy that he was he was producing most weeks. Wasn't going to get a ton of targets, but getting enough. And that was with, you know, basically everybody healthy. You know, Keon Coleman could be interesting if DJ Moore's out. But right now we're approaching it as a DJ Moore will play. You've got Cortland Sutton. You might want to hang on to in case Jalen Waddle misses time. But, you know, Jalen Waddle's been so good this year. And then Casey Concepcion is the number one ad. Caleb Douglas. He just needs the ball more. I mean, this guy is really exciting. Holy cow. What a move he made. In his route on his first touchdown. And then what a move he made after the catch on his second touchdown. He had three targets, 70 yards and two touchdowns. Get Caleb Douglas the ball. Antonio Williams. Oh, wait, we moved Makai Lemon ahead of Antonio Williams. Makai Lemon, Antonio Williams. I should put Shakira ahead of Williams, too. I think, you know, as long as you stay alphabetical within the rookies. Yeah, right. Let's not move Adonai Mitchell to the top. We can move Jordan Tyson ahead of Antonio Williams. We could do that. And Tyson is another guy with big upside that's got a buy this week. And maybe he's able to play in week nine against Cleveland. Ryan Flanoy. Jamie mentioned three straight games with 11 or more fantasy points. Kendrick Bourne is facing the Cowboys. So if he gets his eight targets, you know, his typical eight, he's got eight, eight and six targets the last three games. He could turn that into a flexible, flexy game. Kendrick Bourne. And then there's Travis Hunter. At tight end, Pat Frymouth is the only guy in that range of 66 to 85, 80 percent. roster to whatever I like the other That ends better. Yeah, he hasn't really been that good. So Hunter, Henry, TJ Hawkinson should go Conquo. Plenty of debate about who to go with there. I think going with Henry first makes the most sense. And then I would put O'Conquo second and Hawkinson third. And Jamie has Hawkinson second, O'Conquo third. And then pick a Rams tight end. If you were going to pick Higby, Parkinson, or Davis Allen, who would it be? Parkinson. Okay. And then Terrence Ferguson is maybe the long-term play there. Yep. Right. Hopefully he's practicing this week. That'd be great. Yep. And he's out there in 80% of leagues. I watched the tape of Michael Mayer this morning to see what the Rams did to take him out of the game. Because he had three catches for 32 yards on three targets. And I think two of his plays, his better plays, were kind of late in the game when the Rams had a big lead. They fell back into zone coverage a little bit. The Rams smother people near the line of scrimmage. They do not allow dump-off passes. They allow the lowest completion rate in the NFL of zero to seven yards, which is basically where most times, tight ends league, zero to seven area. Most times live in zero to seven area yards. This was a terrible matchup for Michael Mayer. We knew it going in. The Jets are fifth best against tight ends. But the last two weeks, Colson Loveland had a good game. The last three weeks, Loveland had a good game. Hunter Henry had a good game. Greg Dulcich had a really good game. So Mayer is like a pendulum. It is a bad game. Great game. I would go back to him this week. Do you think, I think that cousins gets pressured a lot because that's usually been the thing is he, he gets a lot of work when cousins is pressured and he's not really a big factor in the red zone. So he's like half of what Hunter Henry is. And it's the bad half. It's a good week for tight end streamers. I'll say that it is. It really is. And guys that you might be able to use rest of season is Brenton. Strange is playing well too. And then there's Greg Dulcich and Mason Taylor, which are a little bit more desperation. And Mike is sick. I don't know if Taylor's desperation. I mean, again, it was the dolphins, but it's not like the Raiders are great. Raiders are 29th against tight ends. They've allowed eight touchdowns to tight ends. So yeah, maybe I'm wrong. By the way, there was a play. I showed it on beyond the box court. Mason Taylor was wide open. No one near in within 15 yards of him for what should have been another touchdown. Gino didn't see it. And then on the next play through interception, just, it was really not a good day for Gino, even though he sounds like 28 fantasy points. That's it for the, Oh, sorry. DSTs. We like the Jaguars. We like the Bengals. We like the bears and a kicker. We don't love the bears, but you know, I guess not a super deep week of streamers at DST. No. Cam little Chris Boswell, Matt game.
