Week 8 Recap: Lamar Jackson INJURED + Parker Washington PANIC & Trade Advice (11/2 Fantasy Football Podcast)
1h 7m 37s
The transcript blends promotional content with in-depth fantasy football analysis and personal development messaging. It begins with Butcher Box, promoting a convenient, high-quality meat delivery service that simplifies meal planning, especially during busy times like football season. This is followed by a segment on Europe United, which offers young adults without a college degree access to job training, internships, and career mentorship. The narrative shifts to fantasy football, analyzing team performances, player injuries, and quarterback changes—particularly for teams like the Eagles, Colts, and Ravens—with detailed commentary on standout players like Bucky Irving and Tyler Warren. The discussion underscores how injuries and coaching decisions significantly impact fantasy outcomes. Throughout, the content integrates multiple product endorsements: Hymns promotes confidence and personal growth, SimpliSafe offers home security with AI-powered alerts, Cash App supports teen financial education, and Ethos provides accessible life insurance. These segments are interwoven to deliver not only sports insights but also practical, lifestyle-related solutions. The overall tone is motivational and consumer-focused, combining personal development with actionable advice for everyday challenges.

presented by hymns whatever is holding you back hymns has a real plan for it be confident and be
him what's their plan for amari and hampton teams oh there's not enough hymns of the world for
amari and hampton teams i probably was really mad that i only had hampton in one league when
the season started it was probably a big regret of mine i'm so thankful
that i only have hampton in one league same happened for me i was very regretful of it at
the time i only got him in the one league where he didn't get bit up on in the auction and now i'm
i'm thankful even though that team is a disgusting potentially oh and eight after tonight i've never
had a team this bad amazing oh and eight did you say oh and eight it's about to be wow i've never
had an oh and eight i had i don't think i have either that was the worst i've ever had wow um
by the way dan i love your courage when my team loses
i don't want to see their logo for for a while so yeah well courage is one word for it um laziness
is probably the more apt word for it's just one of the clean shirts left um before i got to do a
laundry run but i will say this wisconsin embarrassed themselves on saturday against
iowa and i'm really nervous to go see emma this week our producer on beyond the box score because
she sent me a couple messages she's an iowa fan and i was kind of talking a little trash and i'm
about to get hit hard by emma i'm doing this for you guys i'm doing this for you guys i'm doing this
for you guys i'm doing this for you guys i'm doing this for you guys i'm doing this for you guys
and i mean hard i love it all right washington 27 philadelphia 10 eagles jumped out to a 10
nothing lead in this game we had a you know you got i guess enough from barkley to be an rb2 i'm
thinking 12.4 fantasy points he scored a touchdown and he has played 32 of the snaps this last night
32 of the snaps 15 of the snaps the week before he's just not healthy they get the giants this
week and then a buy so i think we're just hoping he can get him in the game and he can get him in
healthy during that bye week but uh i'll give you the eagles dan i'll give uh jacob the commanders
and we'll start with jacob because the commanders to me are more interesting let's look at the
commanders here yeah and jacob your thoughts on the commanders so i really like antonio williams
their rookie um i think a lot of people were hoping for a breakthrough game for chico conco
and he made some awesome catches um but not much in the box score for him the rookie led the team
in ross run and targets in this game without terry mclaurin i think he's really fun
um i think stefan digs for as long as the team is competitive is someone you can go to for ppr
formats he's been um again productive on a per route basis just like he was last year so when
he's out there he's producing and jayden daniels i think is playing well enough for them to have
some production um in games where he doesn't get super heated up where the offensive line isn't a
problem so i'm focused mostly on those two for fantasy trailing berks can make plays down the
field um or shot wide gun the end zone but it was a gross three-way game so i think he's really
split in the backfield um before the end of the game there with white so i don't know if you can
really trust any of them so i think williams is fun and could break through here as the season
moves along i was happy to see him not just stuck on the outside doing terry mclaurin stuff
they moved him around they got him some some targets as the priest that motion man i think
he had a 36 slot rate um and he was targeted five times out of the slot all five of his receptions
were um catches that came from the slot um i think he can went on the outside but it was good to see
him as far as rashad white goes i think you just have to keep an eye on jeremy mcnichols because he
left with a foot injury if mcnichols who had the goal line role albeit you know it's only like one
play or something two weeks ago or two games ago uh he was out late in the game rashad white had
that long run he had three carries for 37 yards and a touchdown rashad white on the last drive of
the game he had a one yard touchdown run but if mcnichols is out i think it would probably help
white a little bit and there's two more games before chikorikoski america come back they have
match up this week with the rams coming to town but we'll keep an eye on that injury and uh okay
stefan digs yeah he's not he's not getting a lot of yards but he seems to catch a touchdown most
weeks so that's that's good um for the eagles dan what do you think about philadelphia right now
i think we're probably more dead in the water than we even thought we'd be
i will say this washington does i mean it's right i mean washington does have a sneaky
underrated defense in my mind just because they play that floor is disciple scheme and
it's so that to me is just the way the nfl is going to move and it makes it difficult for the
quarterback but at this point with tanner mckee he's borderline unplayable in my mind he did end
up finding his way to 200 yards passing which you know provided like you know somewhat of a floor
for guys like lemon i guess in ppr leagues moving forward you can kind of play a lemon type you can
kind of play a goddard but i wouldn't really the touchdowns will be limited and low look we had zero
um i just wonder if they're going to make any kind of move at the quarterback position it feels like
no i talked about this last week with jacob they have the kid they drafted it right from the fifth
round um who's their number two milton is their three a lot of people say let joe milton cook but
i don't think he's like the plan is to even go to him next some people have said like will they
trade for brissette or whatever but i don't think the eagles are rolling in that direction i think
they're ready to kind of tank it down and get a good draft pick for their rebuild so i think this
when smith gets healthy i won't feel comfortable starting him at all and i think he'll be super
disappointing lemon to me is probably their best bet just based on the routes he runs but i could
be wrong on that when smith returns oh yeah it's gonna be smith over lemon maybe i mean smith had
one game with tanner mckee and you know he had a big catch in that game but he ended up one big cat
yeah really good game seven for 74 not that i trust it well he caught a touchdown in the game
not that i trust it or anything but you know he he was he was good in that game he's better than
uh okay he's thrown for 210 to 215 yards in all three games but i have there was a kind of like
game script dependent right i mean he'll probably have that yeah he'll probably have that though
that's a good point like he's going to be playing in catch-up mode a lot yeah and he's so he's
averaging more yards per game than jaylen hurts remember i talked about this uh when he got the
job it's like it did the math if he throws this many times per game then he'll have more yards
than jaylen hurts and this and that and it's happening not to say he can't throw for you know
but again i don't know the giants are not that bad of a match-up they do have some good match-ups
left on the schedule the giants then a buy then pittsburgh giants are not a good match-up i know
that everybody keeps saying they are they're not but the fantasy points suggest they are
you know like the court is their bet yeah i know but like the defense has not allowed a 200 yard
passer this year yeah that is true um so maybe their run defense is is bad but what about the
past defense past defense i haven't allowed a 200 yard passer cj stroud came out of the game and he's
into that week hot as heck.
and did nothing.
So, look, you've got to stretch with Dallas, Arizona, and Indianapolis.
Other than that, it's not that great for Philadelphia.
Barkley, however, looks amazing.
What happened with you and Heath's bet?
Is that just defaulted to zero at this point?
No, it's still on.
There was no quarterback stipulations?
There should have been.
You may come back to win that thing.
Nullen Boyd.
What's his name?
John Pagano.
If we have to go another week of John Pagano, is that his name?
I don't even remember or care.
That is definitely not his name.
What's his name?
Pagano, Joey Pagano, or Joe Pagano.
Yeah, that, I don't, who knows what's going to happen there.
I don't think Joey Pagano can play another snap of a ball.
Chuck Pagano playing quarterback for the Ravens.
No, he's going to play, he's going to start this week.
He's playing Thursday.
I don't know if he's, oh, but what if they just, I mean,
Baker Mayfield came a few years ago to the Rams on three days rest,
or three days notice and started.
I just wonder what they'll do there.
He also got a little banged up in the game, Pagano.
He hurt his knee.
Yeah, he was getting beat up.
Yeah.
Justice Hill, apparently,
was their emergency quarterback.
Maybe it'll be him.
All right, that's, he's not him.
He's not him, I'll tell you that.
Oh, he's not him.
He's not our him of the week.
Monday Night Football recap for you there.
Now, listen, got a couple things to tell you about.
We've got an AMA Ask Me Anything on the Bleacher Report app

Me, Dave, and Jamie are going to be answering your questions,
and that's pretty cool.
So, it's going to be mostly your waiver wire questions,
but that's fun.
And, of course, a full week of Beyond the Box score
with the usage, with the buy lows and the sell highs,
and all the things you've come to expect
from Beyond the Box score.
Now it is time for He's Him, sponsored by HIMS.
There's the guy you are right now,
and there's the guy you could be.
Whatever's holding you back, HIMS has a real plan for it.
Be confident.
Be him.
Dan, Tony Pollard has been him two straight weeks.
Jake, if you're nodding your head,
what do you want here?
You got something better.
Bucky Irving is him.
Okay, that's fair.
I'll give it to Bucky.
A historic game.
They literally just ran the ball every play,
and they couldn't stop it.
126 yards after contact for Bucky Irving in this game.
That's his second game this year with over 120 yards after contact.
Last year, only two guys had multiple games like that,
B. John Robinson and Jonathan Taylor.
This year, B. John Robinson's the only other guy
who has a game like that.
Not Kenneth Walker, Jameer Gibbs,
just B. John and Bucky Irving with 120 or more yards.
After contact in a game, in two different games.
He's so good, man.
That's fair.
He's a better him than Pollard.
I think that's. And what's crazy about that is he was able to do it
despite everyone on that defensive side of the ball
understanding the Bucks weren't even going to pass the ball.
It was wild.
They were like at a pistol and running the football.
Maybe kudos to this Bucks offensive line as well
if we're going to give out a second hims award.
But yeah, Bucky takes the cake,
and he's kind of emerging as this late hero for football.
Fantasy football in the post-apocalyptic world
that we're in where there's so many injuries.
At this point, he's one of the most reliable 20 players
every week, 15, 20 players.
Faced a stack box on 13 of his 27 rush attempts.
There you go.
One of the highest rates of any running back game this year.
Wow.
I wonder if the conditions maybe helped him, though.
I mean, it might not be easy to tackle in those conditions, but. Well, B. John didn't do anything really, 76 yards.
Yeah, I mean, they didn't have the ball that much.
I think it's worth noting that just because
this is a week where Dan is getting what's coming to him.
Okay, you got the Wisconsin story from earlier
where he's just talking ass about what's coming to Iowa.
What else is coming to me?
You know, you run your mouth about your team
in the auction league that I invited you in.
You named the anti-Asian.
I did finally have a bad week.
You're 6-1, this and that.
You played me, the sad sack 3-4 team.
I whooped your ass.
Unless you get 56 points, 47 points tonight
from Luther Burden in half PPR,
you're going to 6-2.
I'm going to 5-2.
I'm going to 5-0 on the strength of Bucky Irving
and Josh Jacobs.
I finally got my running back tandem.
I didn't even get a good game.
I got a zero from Omar Cooper.
I got a zero from Omar Cooper,
and I whooped you.
Whooped you.
I got four guys on by.
I'll be back.
I mean. You started panics.
I know.
That was a mistake.
If I knew about that weather, it would have never happened.
But you know what?
I did get what's coming to me, and I do deserve that.
I've talked a lot of crap,
and you got to eat that crap sometimes
when you talk a lot of crap.
All right.
Well, thank you.

Email of the day is from Scott Vecchino, I think it's pronounced,
but he said, but it's pronounced A-chan as a joke.
And Scott says,
Stats from overtime should not count.
Fantasy.
Why should players get extra minutes to accrue fantasy points?
I know people are going to be immediately dismissive
as they are to any Acer League rule suggestion.
But seriously, why should overtime fantasy points count?
Back in the day, it was probably too difficult
to manually exclude points,
but easy today to have a setting to just exclude overtime stats.
I'd love to get Dan's take on it.
I put this in here just so Dan can say,
I got a lot to say about this.
I don't have that much to say about this one,
unfortunately, for podcasting's sake.
I don't really. I don't think it's a good idea.
It's a terrible idea.
I've never really had it presented to me,
and I'm confused why.
I guess because it's unfair that they get extra time in the game.
I don't know.
I don't like this one at all.
You set your line up based on what you expect to happen for four quarters.
So I guess I could get the. I mean, that's like saying if I bet the under in a game
and it goes to overtime, I should get. It should be fine.
Oh, I 100% think that bets should not have overtime.
Should not get overtime.
100%.
I think it's garbage.
That's crazy.
That's why I would never want to bet unders.
It's stupid overtime.
Especially in college football.
How many times can they score?
Oh, yeah.
You know?
If it's Miami, it's just giving up a touchdown every possession
and getting a touchdown in their back every possession.
Jacob, what do you think?
Overtime stats, yay or nay?
I'm looking up the overtime fantasy point numbers,
and it's very minimal.
Like last year, Pukunuku led the league with 17 fantasy points in overtime.
Jameer Gibbs had 13.
This year, nobody has more than nine.
Nine total overtime points, and it's no offhand.
I don't know.
Really?
Burrow had a big overtime.
Burrow has nine as well.
All right.
Well, bad email, Mr. A-chan.
Nothing notes.
Lamar Jackson could be out for the season.
Tyler Huntley is going to miss multiple weeks,
and Joe Fagnano will likely start this week.
But again, he did tweak his deal.
So we'll see what happens.
Gardner Minshew replaced Jacoby Brissett.
Kyler Murray did have hamstring tightness in this game.
He's got a great matchup coming up against Buffalo.
Nothing's a great matchup for Kyler.
Apparently not.
Although, actually, he put together a good fantasy game.
I know.
He found a way, but. And Anthony Richardson replaced Daniel Jones.
And we're going to talk about these quarterbacks.
Yeah, I want it to. I guess it's not going to be, but I want it to be Riley Leonard.
Oh, why?
For the sake of. Oh, because the cops are coming for Riley Leonard, apparently.
For the sake of the pass catchers.
I mean, Anthony Richardson is. I said this once about Jacoby Brissett.
Jacoby Brissett, like, years ago.
But Anthony Richardson is fantasy poison.
He's terrible for pass catchers.
He just runs all the time and doesn't throw touchdowns.
Yeah.
Well, we'll see.
Jeremiah Love left with the ankles.
Donovan Knight left with a head injury.
Travis Achan, his status is unclear for this week coming off the bye.
He's eligible to return.
But the fact that they haven't opened up his practice window
isn't, to me, a great sign.
We'll see if they do it early this week.
They got a great matchup against Cleveland,
one of the worst run defenses in football.
We don't have any major updates on David Montgomery
coming off their bye.
So I'm thinking right now, probably not going to play.
That's as of right now.
The Jets are going to keep Brees Hall,
and he is expected to play in Week 9 at Kansas City
against a really tough run defense.
Wide receiver.
I didn't see anything on D.J. Moore.
He limped off late in the game there at Minnesota this week.
He didn't play all that much.
Well, he ran most of the routes.
He didn't play a ton of snaps.
He played about two-thirds of the snaps, D.J. Moore.
A.J. Brown's status is unclear.
For D.J. Moore, he's going to play about two-thirds of the snaps.
For Green Bay this week, Jordan Tyson's status is unclear
for their game against the Packers,
against the Browns this week.
I didn't mean to say A.J. Brown is on the Packers.
I mean, he's playing the Packers.
And Michael Wilson, I mean, like,
this guy's playing with broken ribs.
And now Kendrick Bourne has an ankle injury
that might keep him out.
So Michael Wilson, you know,
even if he didn't have broken ribs,
got at Seattle, then the Rams, then the Chiefs coming up.
Yikes.
That's a bad Wilson stretch.
Yeah.
Jake Ferguson.
Ferguson ankle.
Hunter Henry.
Forgot what the injury was.
Foot, I think.
Deliberate in season.
Maybe.
And blah, blah, blah.
Great.
Great stuff.
We'll take a break.
Come back with some snap counts, some stats, some usage,
and four big topics after this.
Let's have a conversation about life insurance

All right, Jacob, I'm going to throw it over to you for some stats, however you want to approach it.
Okay. So I watched the Jets game. I was really curious. So it was a massive game from A.D.
Mitchell. He had the third highest catchable air yardage number of any receiver in any game this
year.
The only other games that were higher was like Chris Halave's massive week one, Devonta Adams'
crazy week two, and then A.D. Mitchell three. And then obviously Garrett Wilson had a ton of
targets in this game too. 12 targets funneled his way. So I think we got the squeaky wheel
narrative coming through here. 39% target share. Omar Cooper Jr. has zero. And so obviously that's
frustrating for a lot of people who have picked him up and gone to him here. The playing time
didn't change at all. He had 26 routes. He just didn't get targeted. I actually thought he played
really well in this game, especially
early in the game. Like he was getting open consistently. I think he'll have a good game
against the Chiefs next week if I had to guess. Just thinking about Mitchell. Omar Cooper Jr.
Omar Cooper. Okay. I'm sorry. Okay. Go ahead. Just thinking about the way that that matchup
lines up. I think they're a lot easier to attack through the slot. So yeah, he's still his first
in fantasy points per snap among wide receivers this year, which is hilarious after a cardio day.
But like, that's how good it had been. And I really do think he looked electric.
So I would not react to this at all, even though I know it's frustrating. This is, I mean, it's the
Jets. And this is kind of my problem with Gary Wilson and all of them is like, they have like
six or seven skill position players that are actually legitimately good. They have two tight
ends. They have three receivers. They have two running backs. So there's going to be weeks like
this. I don't really know how you'll be able to predict it, but I think that he's a good player.
Where do you think A.D. Mitchell ranks in fantasy points per snap? I said Omar Cooper,
Jr. was one on the year. Four. Four is exactly right. Omar Cooper, Jr. Devonta Smith,
better than Mikhail Leman for my money. Mike Evans. Mike Evans, third. A.D. Mitchell, fourth.
Speaking of Eli Raridon's season, Dan mentioned that with the Hunter Henry injury,
93% snap rate for Raridon in this game. Dan, 83% snap rate for Kyle Williams.
Oh, yes. It's finally happening. First time we've really ever seen that. All it took was 16
yards. 83% snap rate for Williams, 88% for Efton Chisholm. Williams gets one target. It's a
touchdown, 43 yards. I thought he was open a decent amount. I went back and watched every
drawback in this game. There were only 20 pass attempts from Drake May. It was a weird game,
man. I don't know if he was not trusting the progressions, not trusting Kyle Williams,
what it was. He got pressured on 54% of his drawbacks. Miami did some funky stuff at the line,
but they only ended up with a 12%.
12% blitz rate in this game. So to get a 54% pressure rate on a 12% blitz rate is
unacceptable. So that has me a little bit concerned, right? We were worried about the
Patriots offensive line, and now they're down receivers too.
I like that call.
Tyler Warren had 18 yards on 10 targets this week.
I watched that entire game for this show.
You watched that entire game?
For the show, yeah. I wanted to see the Jags stuff that we're going to talk about,
and then I was just watching the Colts because it was part of it.
All right.
This guy can't get enough Daniel Jones.
God, was it bad. It was so bad.
So Warren's average depth of target on his catches this year is 2.5 yards past the line of scrimmage.
His average depth of target on incompletions is 9.3 yards. So basically what I'm saying is
it's not working unless it's a really short target. I think he has five catches of more
than 10 plus air yards. It's basically just been short stuff, which is a little bit disappointing
for somebody who's a scorer.
He's as talented as he is.
Somebody who does get a lot of down for looks is Matthew Golden. He leads the NFL with
1,165 air yards and nine drops.
1,165 air yards for Matthew Golden. Next is Michael Wilson at 921.
Wow.
It's not even close. I don't remember there being this big of a gap.
He's really interesting. I've got some more Golden stuff for you later when we talk about
Parker Washington.
Some interesting comparisons there.
Okay.
I've got some Ashton Jinty stats that I think are fun. Ashton Jinty has run-
It can't be that fun.
Ashton Jinty has run 176 routes. Justin Jefferson has run 156 routes. So 20 fewer,
but in the same ballpark. Who has more fantasy points scored as a pass catcher?
Obviously Jinty, based on how you set that up.
Well, see, I play the who has more game every Tuesday, and I like to set people up just like
that to make them think. I'm going to say-
I know.
I'm going to say Jinty.
Dan's played this game with me enough to know, yeah.
I know both of your versions of this game. I've lived through them both, and I know the
way Jacob plays it. So it's Jinty, right?
I'm sorry. You inspired me to go back and watch Tyler Warren's targets, which I'm doing
right now, and this interception by Daniel Jones.
Oh my God, what a bad pass.
He's so bad at football.
So underthrown. It's incredible. Now, the first interception was Tyler Warren's fault,
but that one was really bad. Okay. Yes, Jinty, keep going.
Jinty has more fantasy points scored as a pass catcher than Justin Jefferson.
Wow.
He has 20 more routes run than him, to be fair. Some players who have significantly
more routes than Jinty. Jinty has 176. Sam Laporta has 226. Tucker Kraft has 235.
Denzel Boston has 288, and Jinty has more than all of them on 176. Parker Washington
has scored 1.6 more PPR points than Jinty as a receiver this year.
Wow.
Wow.
What?
And this is what I just. Saving his value.
I really don't want to see Mendoza in there. For his sake, I do, and I'm excited about him as a
player, but at least I kind of know what I'm getting, and I don't want any changes for Brock
Bowers. This is amazing.
Agreed.
Yeah.
I think the Mendoza change would be really. I don't want to say would be. I should say
could be really bad for Bowers. That's my take, and I'm standing by it. I've stood by it the
whole time. Even just listening to the postgame when Kirk was like, it's kind of like when I was
in Minnesota, and when Jefferson's not open, throw it to him anyway. That mindset, I'm not
sold Mendoza will have, but I know Kirk has it.
Yeah, that's right. Maybe he will, but it cannot get any better than this, so I want to change
for Brock Bowers' sake. There was only four targets for Jinty yesterday, Jacob. That's
the second lowest of the season for him.
People are saying that Parker Washington is overhyped. I'm curious where you guys are
at on that.
Well, we have a segment on that.
For later, right?
Yeah, it's a big topic. Spoiler alert. I mean, maybe for fans. First of all, no. Overhyped?
He was a seventh-round pick, basically, that I think we had to convince. I had to be
convinced because he had six good games in his three-year career, basically. So now he
has wildly exceeded his expectations. Maybe overhyped from a few weeks ago, but he's freaking
great. If you could find a reel of the four touchdowns that he has caught, they are all
like a pretty high degree of difficulty.
- Yeah.
now for fantasy it's another question because this team's just blowing everyone out but we'll
get to that but hell no he's not overhyped he's really good i did not realize how good he was
he's awesome jameson williams has four red zone touchdowns over the past three games he had two
career red zone touchdowns before that that's awesome um he had a 42 first three target rate
this week which is the second highest of his career he had a 43 game last year i'm curious
if you guys are buying this at all uh yeah well i think it's a change or it's just a three week
five end zone targets in his last three games i have a somewhat funny jameson williams story for
you but do i buy it i mean i basically feel like every week saint brown's gonna be good which
hasn't been the case but i feel that way and then every week either laporta or jameson williams
would be good and some weeks they're all gonna be good so yeah i pretty much buy it i don't think
he's gonna be great every week it has come at the expense of laporta though right i mean laporta over
the last two weeks has four or seven total targets and four receptions and he has no touchdowns under
50 under 60 yards he only actually has what 12 targets over his last three games averaging four
targets a game it has been there's been a significant change in my opinion in like the
progression of this offense and where they're going with the football as of now i just don't
know that's going to change like the port is too good and i think he's going to be good this week
against the dolphins
it could be matchup based i have to watch a little bit more lines that kind of lock in on that but to
me it looks like they're unlocking the passing game a little bit more vertically by going through
williams well let me see what the a dot was yeah it was i like two weeks ago for for jamo it was
9.9 yards and i i always say want it to be lower you always say yeah you look at his career when
he's better he's not just this vertical guy but this week it was 15 yards he had he had a deep
ball anyway i um i have to pick two starts and two sits every week
okay for some for nfl play action and i said sit jameson williams and you know i haven't been doing
that well i said start jaylen coker i need caleb to be bad tonight every week basically i go like
two and two but last week i think i did poorly so i i really wanted to come through this week
he caught that touchdown and i was i was alone in the house and i reacted like a six-year-old
i started i cursed so loud i threw my
i took a i have to say this quietly because i don't want anyone my wife to hear but i like
threw a pillow onto the floor over i like slammed i was like bleep bleep bleep i went crazy i was so
mad because it's just like you play this stupid game of fantasy football i must have spent an hour
looking at film and old games and vikings tape and lions tape and stats and trying to figure
out what was going to happen with jameson williams and he was
basically a sit until he's standing wide open in the back of the end zone it's like what are you
supposed to do about that it is so like i always say the touchdowns are worth so much more than
people realize in fantasy football and i will say this i don't really know why you needed to get
quiet there so your wife wouldn't hear that you threw a pillow on the ground like what the heck
man like that's that that's faux pas bad it was bad i went crazy um by the way is he close to his
career high he's he's getting close to a career high at touchdowns
he's had seven each of the last two years and he already has five yeah touchdowns are worth a lot
dan you're right and matthew golden is a man who has had plenty of those go through his hands
but he redeemed himself on thursday night um he has three straight games with 12 or more targets
he's so good uh he has five of those games on the year last year jackson smith and jigba jamar chase
and amanara st brown led the nfl with six games with 12 or more targets already has five it's just
a completely different pack
than we've ever seen it's the perfect storm maybe their defense will get better maybe they'll lean
to the run more maybe at the end of the year they'll be playing a bad weather i don't know
but like right now they can't run the ball and so they're dropping back like crazy both games
since josh jacobs has been back their pass rate over expectation has remained very high
and it's super focused on golden occasionally christian watson goes to the hospital during
the game and it gets even more focused on golden guess guess where they are in points per game
packers middle of the pack i don't know they're 10th yeah so it's not even like they're you know
just throwing because they have a terrible defense they're 10th no they're throwing because they
they have to to move the ball and what's interesting to me is they are throwing i would i don't know if
i have this stat on maybe jacob you have this in front of you if not no worries but like it feels
to me like they must be up top in the nfl and air yards too because they're taking vertical shots to
open up other aspects of the offense and it's just really cool for me to see like a quarterback who's
just this in my opinion one of the better vertical throwers in the nfl watching jordan love from a
timing standpoint from an anticipation standpoint from the ability to just kind of flick from any
platform and i think it's cool that he keeps going back to golden despite the drops it kind of proves
it like the drops are in my opinion one of the more overrated things by fans as well because
again the year tyree kill led the nfl in receiving he also led the nfl in drops does anyone did the
dolphins care no but he was doing so much good to outweigh it he basically going into this week
going into the thursday night game where he had at least one drop two two drops he had more drops
in the first seven weeks of the season than any player at least any wide receiver right and it
didn't matter though it didn't matter it didn't matter he keeps going back to him love because
he knows he'll make a big play on the next one where a lot of these guys won't even get open
to get the drop that's the thing like i'd rather the guy who can get separation but who'd rather
have golden or watson rest of season
that's a great question i spent a bunch of time with this last week i do uh rest of season rankings
updates every wednesday on beyond the box score um i landed on watson over golden um but golden
just keeps creeping up into that range the golden stuff he's pretty much like chris alave on paper
um except he's just not as good as alave but the quarterback play is better um so there's the
there's really the potential for him to push that high i just think that what watson does is
generally speaking easier to push that high i think that's the thing that's the thing that's
easier to convert on whereas like golden it has to be you have to thread the needle of like
offensive line play love finding him in rhythm and on time and him catching the ball on these
deep targets okay i'm with him on that anything so yeah gardner minchu did his best jordan love
impression this week um really like impressive stuff there we're going to talk about the
quarterback changes there but he he was lights out throwing down the field to michael wilson
and this is a team that definitely does have to throw a ton
out of necessity because the defense since the start of last season only three players have more
than two games with 15 or more targets so last year and this year 15 or more targets
puka has four of those games jamar chase has five of those games michael wilson has five of those
games and they are the worst defensive team in football they give up the most points per game
arizona and they have the most pass attempts in the end are they going to minchu and michael
i would think so it's that that was a report that it was a
unexpected i would have to think so right like they came back and won that game they literally
were playing behind the entire game and then came back and won at the end all along the back of
garden michu that was it was terrific and uh what was i gonna say um yeah no for him like same same
horrible schedule right at seattle then the rams and at kansas city then it's it's pretty good after
that but the next three weeks could be tough he's a guy who got benched i think twice the last time
he was a starter maybe that was 2023 i think that was the first time he was a starter
i think it was 2024 for gardener minchu he got benched at least twice he got benched for aiden
o'connell the problem with the minchu thing is it's like i feel like our experience is the same
every time he's hot at first and then he just settles in and it's terrible yeah i think it
was adam rank uh you know nfl.nfl network fantasy analyst i'm pretty sure it was him who said he's
like the mick rib he's he's not around for long but he's a great whatever he's like great short
spurts or something like that but yeah i it was also like the comeback mode to hurry up
right this is the cowboys bump man the cowboys are horrible if you watch the throws though like
they were really good throws they're also gonna say that at least at least it doesn't feel like
it's gonna be a huge drop off from what we've had oh for sure from brissette you're right about that
until they go to back then i'm not like oh minchu here we're through the roof michael
wilson top 10 receiver i'm just like well that was wild and impressive and maybe it'll keep
being okay i'm with you on that and i hope they don't go to back anytime soon uh anything else
i've got running back stuff i have three running back like removers i did my rest of season rankings
already for this and next week and like we could talk about after the break maybe they could fit
into the overachievers section of today's show or we can just do it now oh yeah go for it okay so
the first thing um before that is just bucky irving i wanted to mention had 19 of 25 running
back rushes in the first half and he had a 72 snap rate in the first half i think that they went to
gain one more because like what are you going to do get bucky the ball 40 times um he had 19 touches
in the first half and he had a 72% snap rate in the first half and he had a 72% snap rate in the
second half yeah i think in a normal game where they complete a pass it won't be an even split i
think it literally just kind of had to be so that bucky was still able to play going forward um but
yeah the last two games it's clearly been like 70 ish percent bucky gainwell's running well and
it's probably earned a bit of a bigger role but bucky i think is clearly the lead back i don't
think it's a split it's a split similarly to this is one of the three movers i want to talk about
he keeps going up my rankings
spatial too and i moved him ahead of derrick henry this week um we'll talk about some other guys
66% snap rate
um before the game got out of hand 13 of 15 running back rushes before the game got out of
hand so i definitely think it was like he out of the buy is the lead back um he's averaging 19
touches and 108 scrimmage yards over his past four games sick yeah there have been moments where like
rodriguez is getting in there more the game before the buy but i think it's pretty clear that tootin
is the lead back here i keep thinking about the discussion we had a few weeks ago about tootin
versus bucky irving and uh they both look the answer is just yes yeah the answer is yes yeah
and yet it still is tootin yeah the answer is not yeah the answer is tootin he plays for the
yeah um there are seven running backs averaging at least 60 yards after contact per game bucky
is one of them tootin is one of them as well i just wanted to show you this like they're both
playing awesome obviously jaylen warren on this list playing awesome then the other guys are
exactly who you'd expect um what i wanted to point out here is next to this
um
rush yards after contact column is rush yards before contact tootin's averaging 10 yards before
contact i still think that there's meat left on the bone here like obviously the touchdowns had
been called back but also the the run blocking has been really bad there were there was one play in
this game where he like sprung the long touchdown which he did run over guys too on his way to the
end zone it wasn't just like run through an open hole for 40 yards for a touchdown but it was just
like one play where finally there was a little bit
and it's like oh there's a 40 yard play like there's just been like none of that this year
and i really think i know jacksonville doesn't have a ton of talent on the line but if this can
be just like a middle of the pack run scheme blocking setup here for tootin i think it could
be even better i mean for most of this year he's been averaging under four yards per carry yeah i
don't they lost their left tackle for the year and they just lost ezra ezra cleveland i don't know
their right guard i don't know the extent of that but cleveland left with an injury i know what
you're saying and i and i do want to say i just sorry um we have like 15 minutes left and we have
all these topics to get to um but i did want to say like their left tackle they had the highest
pressure rate of the year uh on on trevor lawrence like jaguars offensive line had its worst
performance last year yeah colt heated him up but their left tackle was not a problem he was great
i don't think he gave up pressure all game it's walker little it's an experienced guy um so uh
i don't know what that was all about but yeah like even though they they destroyed the colts like
actually he was under pressure almost 50 like 45 of the time uh so you know i i think they have i
think if you're gonna go with bucky over tootin the argument is the bucks seem to have a better
offensive line than the jaguars but whatever they're both awesome all right i didn't mean to
hurry you there yeah i totally blanked that we had to get out of here early the other guys are
braylon allen and um jonah coleman we can just talk about them on the tuesday beyond the box
score show yeah i think i'd rather have jonah coleman because unless the jets trade breeze hall
do not know what's going to happen there but i i feel like my run of starting braylon allen is
probably over you know what a run i think so too yeah yeah we'll see how that plays out i he might
just be a better fit for this team right now but he's also he has had such a cupcake schedule and
it is about to get so much harder for the jets run game as soon as breeze hall comes back sorry
breeze um a couple snap count things uh i said dj moore played ran eight ninety percent of the
routes ryan flanoy ran more routes than braylon allen ran more routes than braylon allen ran more
routes than george pickens i don't know if that was because two weeks in a row now he's he didn't
run more routes the previous week he just oh sorry just played more snaps gotcha pickens this is by
far a season low sixty five percent of the snaps or routes for pickens and he does have this shoulder
injury that could be it but you know it's not great right now for him um trey tucker had a
terrible game zero fantasy points i believe he ran sixty three percent of the routes which is
really low for him is usually over eighty percent he still only had a six percent target per outrun
in the slot played thirty five point five percent in the slot trey tucker that was a season high
but i didn't realize he just wasn't on the field that much uh quinshawn judkins not great trends
here since dylan sampson's come back and even the week before that he has not exceeded a twenty four
percent route participation rate in three consecutive games quinshawn judkins kamani
vydell played the most snaps of any charges running back keaton mitchell played the most
routes omari and hampton made the most people angry lad mcconkey ran ninety five percent ninety
four percent of the routes we did see the most snaps of any charges running back keaton mitchell
played the most routes omari and hampton made the most people angry lad mcconkey ran ninety five percent
ninety four percent of the routes we did see the most snaps of any charges running back keaton mitchell
we did see the average route depth come down we did see the slot rate go up all i think all those
things are really good because they don't have time to throw downfield but he had a super lucky
fifty yard catch on the dumb hail mary um and uh and rishi rice you know he had a good game he
nearly had two touchdowns still didn't think he looked that explosive but he three point four
yard a dot that sounds like rishi rice but the point i wanted to make was he only ran sixty one
percent of the routes he had a twenty nine point six target per out run rate
so
you got to figure as he gets healthier he's usually running eighty ninety percent of the
routes you know sixty one point four percent is very low all right we got to take one more break
and get to our big topics we'll be right back on fantasy football today i'll be honest with you

Number one, what could the potential quarterback changes mean for fantasy,
for Baltimore, for Indianapolis, and for Arizona?
Let's start with Baltimore.
We all love Zay Flowers.
We all loved Derrick Henry.
Do we consider Henry and Flowers to be must-start guys going forward?
No.
Henry is good.
I have Henry running back 15, so that's the higher of the two.
I have Zay running back 18 the rest of the season.
I guess a running back two.
Yeah, a must-start.
If he had Tyler Huntley, I would consider him a borderline must-start.
He was pretty damn good with Huntley.
He had one amazing game with Huntley.
He had one 12-point game.
Then he had a game with about 14.5 PPR fantasy points,
where if you remember, he had a 15- to 20-yard catch late in the game,
but they declined.
They took the penalty instead of the catch to save them time
and gain more yards against Atlanta.
That's like a 16-point, 17-point game typically.
That's two of three games where he was pretty good with Tyler Huntley.
Huntley's not out for the year.
I don't know when he'll be back, and maybe they make a trade.
We've got a week to go before the trade deadline.
But if it's Fagnano, then it's going to be tough.
I'm super worried about Henry.
I'm way more worried about Flowers, though, than Henry.
I'm pretty worried about both of them.
Flowers, to me, is like—
Henry, I guess I view the question differently.
Must-start's probably more of like RB1 range,
so I guess he's not that match-up independent.
But for me, Flowers is borderline like a kill-you-when-he's-in-your-line
lineup-type play from this point on
until they get something better at quarterback.
Okay.
For the Colts, how do you feel about—
I mean, really, it'd be just Tyler Warren, maybe Keenan Allen.
Well, you mention it best.
If they go to Richardson, it's going to be bad news for,
I guess, everyone in that passing game.
Based on his history, I'm not as sold on that, to be completely honest.
And you can call me maybe too much of a truther, I guess.
But I just think the passing game can't get much worse than it looked to me on tape.
I mean, it was all quick.
The only completions they had were a quick game.
Every ball was thrown behind the receiver,
constantly low or behind the receiver.
No room for yak.
I just can't imagine it could get worse than Jones, personally.
So I think the same, if not better, if they make the change.
Well, Jones is averaging 192.8 passing yards per game.
That's fifth worse than the NFL, not for a player, but for a team.
And then the yards per attempt is even worse, right?
The yards per attempt is horrible.
Only Tanner McKee and Jacoby Brissett are averaging fewer yards per attempt than Daniel Jones.
But the problem, even though you'll get better yards per attempt from Richardson,
you're going to get fewer yards per attempt.
fewer attempts so in his last right in 2024 anthony richardson made 10 healthy starts i'm not saying
he's gonna do this maybe it'll be better maybe it'll be worse i think you know you last week
you talked about the chiefs having a taekwon thornton problem i think the colts have an alec
pierce problem they do not have a single field stretcher nothing close they have a daniel jones
problem is what they have they do but richardson like richardson was on pace for 2,963 passing
yards 14 touchdowns and 20 interceptions and yes that is worse than daniel jones that is
uh that is 174 yards per game now it could be a boost for jonathan taylor though even though
he'll get fewer receptions just could open up a little bit more in the run game i think he's
gonna get traded okay but yeah but it's yeah it could be i mean we still so here's the thing
because i remember doing this research with jonathan taylor when i don't know 2024 whatever
2025 probably
you
it is fewer catches but it's also fewer goal line touchdowns because right daniel jones doesn't do
any of that and richardson does i don't i don't want to say i'm making it clear i don't want to
see richardson i'd rather see leonard but it seems like it's i don't know why it would be
leonard at this point it's probably it's going to be richardson they get dallas and miami their
next two games and i'm just right houston's been a horrible defense i mean i i have a hard time
saying that out loud but it's true so their schedule gets good here um jacob any thoughts
on the colts
no nothing on the colts how about the cardinals you know what what do you think about mcbride and
wilson right and also the kendrick bourne injury is pretty pretty important i think for for michael
wilson but uh you want you want to see gardner minchu in there it definitely helped this week
um wilson looked like he was having another one of those games we're at eight targets 147 air
yards but 34 receiving yards with brissette and then he scored 20 points with minchu mcbride had
16 points with minchu 16 points with brissette and then he scored 20 points with minchu 16 points with
minchu 65 of the targets went just to those two players with minchu so i don't know if he's
actually a sustainable like improvement but it definitely was good to see it so concentrated on
those two players that's what we want for fantasy absolutely and again michael wilson i'm pretty
sure he had an end zone target in this game and he continues to oh no he finally did catch an end
zone target yeah he's off the shot another one he has 15 end zone targets and finally one touchdown
he had did not have how many do you have in this game he had five end zone targets in this game
yeah and he caught one of them so he was 0 for 10 i guess he's probably 0 for 14 before that last one
is my guess uh okay all right so that's uh that's the arizona situation is definitely the best one
they have the worst defense they have the most past attempts in the nfl so minchu i'm gonna have
some tough choices in super flex this week for sure um okay who are some players that you are
actively trying to trade for for the stretch run and through the playoffs this is our second topic
who are some players you're actively trying to trade for burger washington
drake london omar cooper jr and mike evans if you can like stash a player if you're if you don't
really really need points right now you can just take that risk i think that's a good good list i
will add a few players to it just looking through the schedules it's what i did before the show i
spent like an hour and a half just looking through all the schedules and using kind of a little bit
of time to think about what's going on in the game and what's going on in the game and what's going
a few resources shout out to this uh fantasy reddit actually fine try did a rest of season
strength of schedule adjusted based on adjusted fantasy points allowed which i think is very
interesting um and this kind of goes along with just you know parsing your way through the
schedule i want all jaguars all jaguars go ahead look at their schedule it is really pretty moving
forward um we've got ravens titans giants titans uh just just along the way texans is in there i
left there and then cowboys washington in week 16 17 really almost as good as it gets in that
stretch run of the fantasy playoffs so tootin is a player that i still don't think has hit his
ceiling i still think you could buy high on him and it would be a good buy um i'd even be willing
to consider him as like a major part of package for some of the disappointing players we expect
are better than him if you can get like tootin and a startable receiver for a player no we're
not going to like to hear it but like tootin and a good receiver for bijan robinson i don't hate it
personally i've sounded the alarm
on robinson two weeks ago everyone laughed it off boopooed it it's two straight bad weeks for
robinson it just doesn't look like it did last year in the old blocking scheme it doesn't look
like it did with their line last year and offensively speaking uh it just doesn't feel
the same to me there uh maybe i'll be wrong about that i think you're wrong yeah it's been too you
said that two weeks ago though and it's been two bad weeks for robinson i have him on this game
script though you know like this game was was absurd sure look you're not i don't think you're
if you want to get bijan robinson this is the time to i hope so um they are a team that actually has
i would say like a mid-pack schedule for running backs and he's just someone i named but i would
say all the jaguars i'm looking to trade for i love the idea and i've come around hard on this
one jacob of trading for coleman from the broncos i think he's gonna have a super fun stretch run
their schedule gets super easy rest of the way for running backs at least and in addition to it just
being super easy for running backs i think he's gonna have a super easy rest of the way for running
backs i mean just some of the matchups they have from a running back standpoint the panthers
the raiders the dolphins all teams that are bad against running backs the raiders again the bills
who have not been good against running backs and that's in week 15 16 of your fantasy playoffs
with harvey on ir coleman clearly looking like the best back by far in that offense shout out to
jacob for seeing the talent um that i may have missed with him love what i've seen at the nfl
level so far i think coleman and tootin are two of the best buys you can make at the running back
position moving forward
all right i think chase brown's a good buy low i mean i don't he had a 30-ish yard touchdown catch
called back yeah on yesterday catch the week before he got stopped at the two yard line and
then too much p ryan he was there's not there's hardly any samaj
that's the thing like any p ryan is too much p ryan for no there's gonna always gonna be some
there's always gonna be some p ryan he's their third down back there's red zone p ryan too
that you know look i don't know what happened with that one yard touchdown run in week seven i know
that later in the game talked about on this show there was a three three play sequence first and
goal from the six hand off to chase brown four yard gain he's in on the next two plays they
happen to be past plays this guy has one touchdown in a seven games at a buy one touchdown in seven
games and the thing is i'm buying low are my expectations lower for chase brown of course i
don't think he's gonna win your league i don't think he's gonna average 20 fantasy points per
game like he's done as a starter with joe burrow all that stuff i think he's gonna average like
16 points per game be basically a must start guy um he's got one touchdown in a game and he's gonna
he's still dominating touches this offense is is humming a little bit here and it's going to be
through the passing game for him that's what we want we want those catches like a better version
of ashen genti uh parker washington i think is a great buy low and um i think buying high i mean
i'm not sure how many buy lows there are but buying high i'm into so yeah like basil tootin and those
guys uh i like your list it's super flex i like buying low or low or whatever you want to call it
on darnold i think he's gonna have a very nice stretch run with really easy matchups coming up
so you could even throw a buy high it's gonna be a really nice stretch run with really easy matchups
you can kind of throw like a bijon into a jet to get jsn type of deal because i think that's
going to be a really strong connection on stretch run just given their matchups panthers eagles
giants cowboys uh as four of them down the final in the final uh weeks except rams is the only
difficult one in week 16 but if jadarian price is active tonight i am going to drop in my super
flex league i am probably going to drop emmanuel wilson for drew lock because sam darnold if he
i think they should maybe bench you're crazy why does everybody keep saying this this what are you
talking about sam darnold has been garbage this year are you kidding he's got eight interceptions
in six games five five they're gonna bench sam darnold it they are gonna start calling for it
if he struggles tonight and they lose this would be let's say he throws two interceptions tonight
that would be his fourth game with two interceptions this is one of the most outrageous
takes you've ever had on you man they already addressed it a few weeks ago someone asked them
and he said no
we're not going to drew lock or whatever like this guy just won them a super bowl there's almost a
zero percent chance they're benching him he is playing like crap i'd be stunned if they benched
him i think he's gonna have a good game tonight but if he doesn't because he's had some really
tough games san francisco denver kansas city usually when he has a good matchup he lights it
up so i think he's gonna be good tonight but if he struggles against the bears and he throws two
more interceptions maybe they don't bench him this week but maybe he's one week away from it wow you
playing through a torn ass like i don't know man and by the way like they're not what's their record
four and three yeah they're it's not like they're cruising in first place here right they can't
afford to lose games you know yeah i know you think i'm crazy that's fine all right uh mike
campana wants to know if parker washington is still a must start we've talked about this a lot
i got about six minutes left sorry i think so based on the schedule express uh with jamie
um but um yeah i don't know uh he ran 16 routes in this game you know and trevor lawrence barely
through i guess if i had a concern it's they have some pretty easy games on their schedule and maybe
trevor lawrence just won't have to throw ravens this week right true that is a problem ravens
titans giants titans could be a few blowouts in there but you never know
like your titans are pretty competitive that is an interesting point though like he's still great
but
they're the problem is if they're up by so much six of his last nine games this speaks to what
dan was talking about six of his last nine games parker washington are
against teams that are currently 21st or worse
against opposing wide receivers.
I don't know.
I'm just not that worried, really.
I think at worst, he's going to be a wide receiver, too.
I'd take him over Jamison Williams, you know?
Yeah.
You guys feel the same way?
Yep.
Yeah, I'm not worried.
I mean, I've moved a few guys ahead of him
in my rest of season rankings,
but I still have him quite high.
I think let's just talk about this on Tuesday, Dan.
I prepared some comparisons here.
I will say, in reference to the blowouts and stuff,
he has a 27% target per run rate in one score game.
So when the scoreboard is eight or fewer points
between the two teams,
he's been targeted on 27% of his routes.
That drops to 19% when Jacksonville is leading
by nine or more points.
It has just kind of been a weird year for him, I think.
There have been two games.
One of them was like. Liam Cohen's amazing.
I don't mean to disparage Liam Cohen.
He obviously knows way more
about football than I ever will
if I lived a hundred years of my lifetime.
Definitely, I think, sometimes
gets an idea in his head
and like fixates on it.
And we saw that happen in the game
where it was like 15 targets or whatever
to Britton Strange.
And Parker Washington was literally just like
cardio guy, like clear out space
for Britton Strange.
He does have a very high average route depth.
I mean, it's over 10.
It's been like that all year.
But yeah, outside of those two games,
it's been really, really good.
I mean, the two games,
two games before this was like a 27%,
23% target share.
He just has two awful games.
And one of them was blowout induced.
The other one was, I think,
just a weird Liam Cohen thing.
You guys are going to talk more about him.
I'm sure we'll talk more about him
on the Wednesday FFT episode
because there are some concerns
like spectacular catches
that you can't really rely on
and the average route depth
and the offensive line injuries.
Like, I get it.
But the guy's really good.
And so the last thing we wanted to talk about
were overachievers.
You know, just some guys
that maybe we haven't really talked about that much.
So I'm just going to go real quick here.
I'm going to say,
Jordan Love is an overachiever,
even though he's only QB 10 per game
and four point QB.
It's like, yeah,
it's like 10, 11 and four and six point.
Jordan Love, something like that.
QB 10 and four, QB nine and six.
There we go.
But he's leading the league in passing yards.
He's second in yards per game behind Joe Burrow.
And the drops are insane.
23 drops leading the NFL for Jordan Love,
eight more than anyone else.
The most drops in the first eight weeks
of the season since 2018.
I'm very high on Jordan Love.
The schedule is about to get,
get much harder at new England,
Minnesota at the Rams.
You know,
so there are good matchups after that,
but I don't know.
I feel like he's kind of matchup proof.
Like I don't expect him to score 28 points
against new England and Minnesota,
whatever,
but 22 feels like a floor.
I went,
he's not running at all.
He's averaging like one rushing yard per game,
1.3.
And that's weird.
Cause last year he averaged over 13 rushing yards per game.
I'm really encouraged by Jordan Love.
So I don't think he's a sell high.
I don't know that he's going to win you your league,
but I,
you know,
I want him on my team.
T Higgins is my other overage.
And also the matchups and pretty strong for Jordan Love,
right?
Bills,
dolphins,
bears,
Texans to end are all plus matchups.
T Higgins is a top five receiver per game.
He's second per game and non PPR fourth and half PPR fifth in full PPR.
This one,
I don't really buy it.
I think if you look at what's going on here,
if you take out the game that Jamar chase,
left early with an injury,
the numbers are not nearly as good.
He had 16 targets in that game.
He had 11 catches for 157 yards.
The last two weeks,
Joe Burrow has thrown nine touchdown passes.
So I'm going to sum it up and say like,
I'm not really looking to sell T Higgins.
After all,
he was a top five wide receiver per game two years ago.
So it's certainly within the realm of possibility.
I expect him to be more like wide receiver 12,
something like that.
But I think you hit a home run with T Higgins.
He's just really solid.
He's going to have,
he's going to have a great season there.
They throw the,
they throw enough like they're he's,
he's awesome.
And then Jalen Warren,
I know that's somebody that Jacob really wanted to talk about too.
Yeah.
I think that like the profile,
it scares me a little bit.
He's played about 60% of the snaps the last two weeks.
He's averaging 5.9 yards per carry this year.
He's not going to do that.
His last two games have been against the saints and the Browns.
Only the Raiders allow more yards per carry to running backs than the saints
and the Browns.
Part of that is they faced Jalen Warren,
but they've been pretty bad all year.
He's got harder,
a hard,
not a brutal schedule,
but harder coming up.
He's splitting a little bit too much of Rico Dowdle for me.
He's,
he's not running as many routes as he did before the Dowdle injury.
So I think you got to sell like super high on Jalen Warren.
Cause I do think he's going to be really good,
but this might be like two straight games with overall with 17,
18 carries and over a hundred rushing yards.
This might be the peak value for Jalen Warren.
Yeah.
I had a tough time when I was doing,
the rest of the season rankings are like,
what do I do?
Warren or Henry?
Um,
and that's kind of where I drew the line.
I saw him above chase Brown.
Um,
but I do have Henry ahead of him,
but Warren's playing so well that that might not be right.
This Pittsburgh offense is playing well.
The run blocking really well.
I think basically Warren's a awesome fantasy player.
And I think Rico Dowdle is one of the best stashes you can have at any
position.
Like Rico Dowdle is an interesting guy to get thrown into trades.
Um,
if something were to happen to Warren,
this offense is working pretty well,
particularly on,
on the ground.
Yeah.
And look,
just because he hasn't run as many routes or caught as many passes the
last two games,
no one's going to be surprised if he has six catches next game,
right?
That's just part of Jalen Warren.
So you hit a home run with that one too.
I am very sorry guys to cut you off and not let you get to your
overachievers.
I have to run.
You can keep,
you can keep it going if you want.
We'll hit them Tuesday.
And yeah,
we'll just do this on Tuesday.
We've got lots of good stuff here.
Like you bring up to Higgins.
We can talk about this in more detail.
Three of his top six career yards in terms of like games and career
yards.
Um,
three of his top six games have come this year.
T Higgins is really just playing phenomenally.
That's the thing.
Like the fantasy points are good.
Obviously he's exceeding.
He hasn't even scored touchdowns until this past game.
He had just two touchdowns.
Cause freaking Mike is sick.
He scores a touchdown every single week.
Yes,
he does.
All right.
Um,
well thank you all for watching and listening and we appreciate it.
And we will talk to you tomorrow on beyond the box score with Jacob
and Dan fantasy football today with me,
Dave and Jamie.
See you later,
everybody.
