Week 8 Rankings: Who is set to be the top performers at each position? | Fantasy Focus

The episode dives into fantasy football rankings and redraft strategies for Week 8, focusing on player performance, injuries, and matchup dynamics. Key injuries include Tyrone Tracy’s IR status, which elevates Cam Sims’ role with the Giants, though his ceiling remains uncertain. Jalen Waddle’s injury uncertainty opens a flex opportunity for Garland Sutton. Quarterback analysis highlights Patrick Mahomes’ declining upside and potential drop in favor of more consistent options like Malik Willis or Trevor Lawrence. Running back rankings feature Javonte Williams, Tony Pollard, and Basit Tutin as top-tier picks, with Tutin gaining traction due to increased receiving duties. Wide receivers like Drake London and Jamison Williams face inconsistency, particularly in matchups against strong defenses like the Minnesota Vikings. Tight ends such as Eli Raritan and Brenton Strange are identified as high-upside options due to volume and target share. A fantasy face-off between Chase Brown and Josh Jacobs favors Brown due to the Titans’ weak defense and Chase’s consistent volume. The redraft analysis revisits top 30 ADP picks, confirming players like Jamar Chase, Kenneth Walker III, and Christian McCaffrey as foundational choices. The discussion emphasizes that while some players like Mahomes or Waddle may be dropped, others like Sims and Brown offer viable upside in the stretch run. Ultimately, the episode provides a balanced, data-driven approach to fantasy team construction amid injury risks and shifting offensive dynamics.

Who would we take now if we were to redraft everything? - A pump like this. - Yeah, deadline will be in, we're about a month out, a little over a month to the fantasy trade deadline, so it's a good time to take some temperatures as you prepare your team for the stretch run. - Yeah, it's not necessarily that like if we redraft the players, it tells you what to do with those players going forward, right? We just don't talk that much about, and like how much time have we spent on Jamar Chase, Visavie, Pukin, Nikua, Visavie, CMC? Like all those guys just kind of get brushed aside because we just tell you line up lock and they usually perform well. And when they don't perform well, we're sort of like, hey, it's one bad game, they'll probably bounce back next week. So we thought it was an appropriate time to redraft the top 30. - That was like exactly the analysis we give on those players. - Thank you. - That's the truth, right? - Yeah, it is. - But sometimes it's, I think it could be comforting as somebody whose team maybe doing well. And with that, a little bit of news guys, before we dive into our weekly rankings, Tyrone Tracy headed to IR. We have been talking kind of a lot about this giants back field over the last couple of weeks. Najee Harris, no longer a part of it. Tyrone Tracy, now going to be on IR, going to miss at least four weeks. It feels like the seas have sort of parted for camscataboo to be back in that RB2 conversation. - It feels like if camscataboo for at least four games can't resurrect his value, then there was just no hope whatsoever. And by the way, he did resurrect his value to a degree this past weekend. Yes, we have seen camscataboo run this season by far. Now they have a buy this week. So that means the Tracy is going to miss weeks 9, 10, 11, 12 at minimum. The earliest we'll see him back is week 13. But last week prior to his injury, it was a co-starting job between scataboo and Tracy. Devon Singletary was seeing an uptick in work for sure. They signed a running back off the Chargers practice squad. I don't think they're going to go big game hunting right now prior to the deadline for a running back. So as of right now, Mike, it feels like camscataboo has a chance to get right back into that RB2 conversation. - Yeah, I agree. You know, think about his usage going forward with only Devon Singletary is a clear threat right now. And I'm thinking it could be somewhere in the range of 60 to 70% of the carries and maybe only like five or six percent of the targets, which sounds a lot like Derek Henry and who's the coach of the giants? John Harbaugh who had Derek Henry the last few seasons in Baltimore. I think that's going to be his utilization. The problem is not sure scataboo's nearly as good as Derek Henry. So you might have, he can say kind of lesser version, but a similar role to that. I do worry that he might catch 12 footballs the rest of the season. They already don't throw to the running back position. Much anyway, 14% target share for their running backs. And Devon Singletary, that's going to be his job in obvious passing situation. So I worry about his ceiling, but can he get back into the fringe top 20 conversation? Yes, I think so. Okay. So we have come a long way, though, from the weeks we have. He played six now and he had zero total touches. Cam scataboo should be the giants leading Russia by a healthy margin. Yep. Hopefully he gets some passing game work as Mike just mentioned, not enough of it so far. The other limiting factor is, of course, that when they got to the goal line this past week, it was James Winston and the caboose time, right? They just, that's another issue. Pushed him past the goal line for a rushing touchdown. Um, but relative to where we worked two weeks ago where it was like, are we just going to drop Cam scataboo in the next week? We've come a long way to show the win probability on scataboo, like the, the chart went like it was like covering like here. And then it went all the way down here. And then now it's all the way back to the last week. Yeah. Valiant peaks within two weeks. It feels like one more bit, a little bit of news, guys here from our guy, rap sheet. Jalen Waddle suffered an aggravation of his previous chest injury on the reverse plate that they had last week in a status for Sunday's game. We'll be determined later now going to be in question mark for Jalen Waddle, heading into this week for the Denver Broncos. Usually we get a day to day or week to week, we're getting neither here. Yeah. I'm kind of on the fence. Feels kind of 50, 50 to me for him to play this week. Uh, Garland Sutton's out there on a lot of waiver wires. I have to throw the ball. This is a tough matchup. But if Waddle's out, we go re revert back to the same thing we had last season, might as pat Brian as well. So, uh, Sutton perhaps could see six, seven eight targets in this game could be back on the flex radar. If Waddle's out, he'll be ranked as such. He'll be on that wider super three rate. My deep breath was when you went six, seven, I said, I learned my lesson. I don't say six, seven anymore with actually that was last Halloween, guys. That's just one. All right. Let's dive into some rankings here for a week, eight. And we're going to start at the quarterback position. As we always do, if you're watching the YouTube stream, you'll see quarterbacks one through 10 on the board Trevor Lawrence comes in as QB five right now, 19 plus and three of his last four, including 27.4 fantasy points in week six, coming off a by with a nice matchup against the Colts. That is the top 10 of our QBs there, quarterbacks, 11 through 20. You'll also see Malik Willis in this 11 through 20 phrase as soon as we get there, stand by. We're slow playing it for the YouTube stream. No big deal. Drama. White. All right. 11 through 20. And you see Malik Willis kind of fitting in there Malik Willis hasn't been bad the last two games. Guys, back to back games are at least 18 fantasy points, 26 fantasy points last week against the Jets. Don't love the matchup against the Patriots, though, that's why he comes in as quarterback 15 right next to Caleb Williams taken on the Seahawks, maybe the most fascinating quarterback going forward to me this season. Remember how effective he was in very limited work with Green Bay? Then he comes in to Miami getting used to this new very young supporting cast brutal schedule in the first month of the season. Now it's lightning up. It's coming off a good game against the Jets. I'm very curious to see how he looks over the next month also might get the benefit enough. He's obviously a great runner, so that that always helps, right? But he might get the benefit of if they don't make that many strides defensively, they'll be in some real blowout. Yeah. Unlike other teams where we saw with the Panthers, fourth quarter, Yank Price young outs. We don't need them in there to risk getting hurt like the dolphins don't have any mystery about what they are. If they're getting blown out, it's not like, hey, let's make sure we get some snaps for a backup quarterback. It's, this is kind of the expectation. So Mollie Quillish could garbodge time this way to some decent fantasy points. Let's have a conversation about Michael Pentax Jr. here. Yes. Oh, Michael Jr. Wanted to talk about a Michael Jr. Oh, I see. And he talks anytime I get a chance. I'm going to do it. Yeah. I'll talk about Pentax because he's playing well as a blade. He's actually ninth in QBR this season. So he's been effective. That doesn't always translate in fantasy. It generally hasn't for him, but just now he is nine passing touchdowns. So far, just one interception, at least 200 passing yards guys in all five games. He's played this season. But most recently three passing touchdowns in two straight games, 20 plus fantasy points in both of those games. So the question is, is he on the fantasy radar? I'm not going that far. Just yet. He only has four yards and 12 carries. He's played in five games. He's actually lost you fantasy points from rushing in three of those five games. Go in the wrong direction. Just stop running at all. If you're going to lose yards, don't do it at all. We want positive points, Michael Pentax. He's not running a lot. You're really counting on a lot of passing. He was under 15 fantasy points in his three games to open the season. I think that when the matchups really good, he could be a streaming option, but guys, this is not that weak. They're playing the box. They've a lot of the three third lowest EPA against the past, the sixth few as fantasy points of quarterbacks. No quarterback. We're almost at the midpoint. No quarterback. I said 20 against them in a game so far this season. So I think it's good to check in on guys like this one, so especially when they backed them back to 20 point games, we're not there yet on Michael Pentax. Yeah. Your thoughts on Patrick Mahomes, Daniel? I am also benching Patrick Mahomes. Actually, I want to throw something at you guys. You might think it's crazy. I think we can drop Patrick Mahomes right now. rostered in 91% of leagues. These are his last four games. 15.9. That's fine. 17. That's fine. 10.4 and six. He has zero rushing upside. Last year when we talked about Patrick Mahomes, what was it that gave him all of the fantasy of it? He was the rushing upside. He is currently averaging 11 points. eight Russian yards per game, that is the fewest of his career. And most of them came in week one. Yeah, the good Russian game week one. And he doesn't have Tyree, this isn't like peak Tyree kill with good Travis Kelsey at this point. This is pass catchers that are not living up to expectations. An old man TK that every once in a while will do some stuff, but he's not Travis Kelsey like he used to be. They're never called TK before. Well, that's my thing. That's my guy. That's my guy thing. Yeah. Their new toy is obviously a running back that they just want to put the ball in the hands of all the time. I think that you can just straight up drop him when you look at quarterbacks that have had at least 20 fantasy points in a game. He has two of them, Kurt Cousins, Tyler Shuck, Aaron Rogers, Bryce Young, Jacobi Brasett, Geno Smith, Bonix, Michael Penix. They also all have at least two, if not more than that, a 20 point games. There's so many guys on the streaming radar. We're keeping Patrick Mahomes around because of his name. He doesn't need to be rostered in 90% of leagues right now. It's been several years since he's been a consistent fantasy starter. Years. I'd rather drop him for an upside play like a Zack Sharbinay or a Jordan Tyson or a Kalim Black or absolutely and have that guy right now and then pick up another quarterback if I need him later on. I'm going to dynasty super flex league where I won the lottery and I ended up with the first pick. It was right after my homes that just hit like his absolute apex. I took him first over, Josh Allen. I think about that often for a minute there. Yeah, I mean, it was, I mean, it was a defensible just selection and it was like it was a defensible selection for the first couple of years as well. But I thought about Josh Allen and I was like, wait, this guy, Patrick Mahomes, is that him coming? The only thing I would say here is I hear you. And I think he is drop a bull if you have a need to add somewhere on your roster. We're taking on Denver this week. So I don't like the matchup this week. Has a tiny bit of what we talked about with Emmanuel Wilson involved, which is that we said last week, let's at least see Zach Charbonne get back before we drop a manual Wilson because if Charbonne isn't available, Wilson is going to be the guy. Do we at least want to see if the chiefs do something over the next 13 days or along the trade deadline? Sure. Yeah. I was just thinking about that too. Let's just say hypothetically they add Brian Thomas and then you get Rashee rice healthy and then see if you're worth these or three. Any of Travis Kelsey and Walker out of the backfield. You'd like it a little bit more. That's kind of where I'm at is that I haven't totally given up hope. That Patrick, well, Holmes could get his fantasy value on track on top of that. Some of the matchups coming up are intriguing to me, not the Broncos this week. The jets the following week. I'm fine with that. The Falcons, I actually think are playing pretty good defense, but not like facing off against the Seahawks again. Let me get the Cardinals. We get the bills. Those are some matchups there that I do think Patrick, well, Holmes can move the football against or in. So I'm not against the idea of dropping him if needed, but I'm also not advocating to drop him just for the sake of dropping Patrick for what it's worth mid-range schedule rest of the season and next four weeks tougher in the fantasy playoffs though for what it's worth. If they don't make a move to get somebody for this squad, then I feel even stronger about Oh, for sure. I think more. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like my instincts on him are he's like a good QB two when the matchups good will stream them. But not every week is this. Not close to a line up. Yeah. All right. Let's talk about some running backs here for week eight. We're going to throw them up on the full screens here. Running backs one through 10, Javonte Williams comes in as a RB four. I don't want to talk about him. Feel anything you want to say about Javonte Williams and how good he is a football. He scored 21.2 fantasy. Yeah. You sure did. I am largely indebted to Mr. William. Yeah. You sure are. Those are running backs one through 10 on the screen. Running backs 11 through 20. Yeah. Tony Pollett in there at RB 18 coming off a 30 plus fantasy point week. Yeah. Kind of feels like in a week in which they're thinking about maybe trading him. Maybe they really leaned in to getting him the ball to show other teams what they can do. Not necessarily. I mean, they've been doing that all year. He just hasn't trained for the last week. It finally happened. Well, last week at work. Not sure it's going to be sustainable, but you love the volume that he got there. That's the top 20. And then running backs 21 through 23 here. Zack Sharbinay comes in as running back 26 has a chance to return. Reminder though, it's a Monday night football game against the Bears that Monday night makes it really tough. Yeah, sure does. Yeah. He's probably going to be limited anyway in his first game back. So I'd stay away. I'm not putting my line up. I do. Yeah. It feels like an easy call for me. By the way, it was kind of a surprise. He didn't play last week. So if you're going to, even if the Seahawks say the right things about him during practice Thursday, Friday, Saturday, if he's a full participant on Saturday and questionable, he might be the rare, full participant and questionable, where I'm still worried about the guy not playing a couple of days later. Yeah. Let's talk about a couple of running backs. Field. Let's do it. Let's talk about Basial Tutin. I actually know what to make a Basial Tutin after what we saw the last time that Jacksonville played. Here are some of the good things. Tutin's a good player, right? The route in Tutin high is how their full German mind is of often is loud and voracious. He has multiple catches in every game since week one does two, which included four catches for two receiving touchdowns in week six, their last game prior to their buy. The part that has us not advocating for Tutin is like a top 12 running backs. And instead he's at 15 for Mike 16 for Daniel 17 for me. Is it in the last game before the buy? Chris Rodriguez had 11 carries and was kind of the primary bulk carrier for Jacksonville. Yeah. It's a great match up against Indianapolis. This team is totally, totally out. It was full tar. Yeah. Rodriguez was the primary bulk carrier, but Tutin got bailed out by two receiving touchdowns. Correct. Right. Right. Right. Right. But this game like this match it feels ripe for Jacksonville to steam roll Indianapolis. Yes. I can't take fire sale. We are monitoring by the way, monitoring, don't not guaranteeing anything, but we are absolutely monitoring the Jonathan Taylor situation right now because as Mike was telling us prior to the show, it would be illogical for the Colts to trade away all of their valuable veteran pieces and then try to rebuild around a running back in Jonathan Taylor, who will be 28 next year. We should mention, if you missed it yesterday, they traded to Forest Buckner back to the 49ers, they traded Quentin Nelson to the Seahawks, so they're helping out that division. Yes. They helped out both both sides. They're also that big rivalry. The jets who own their first round pick, it's a sunk cost Indianapolis is still doing the right thing. But anyways, Basel Tutin inside our top 20, wish we could get him a little bit further up in our rankings, but because of the Chris Rodriguez role, he has sort of settled in as more of a mid to your RB 2 as opposed to a top end RB 2. He just feels like he's going to give you a really safe floor. That's it. Yeah. Those two touchdowns, you're going to be great that you stumbled into a boom week, but I feel like when I start Tutin, it's like, okay, I probably got like 11 to 13 fantasy points locked up. Yeah. Look, 60% of the carries and now the expanded receiving workload that he's getting, that's more than a lot of running backs can say, so he's trending the right direction in terms of roles. As it continues, he'll be a safe RB 2. Yep. Let's talk about another running back here. There can be for Mike. Michael. Yeah. Yesterday, a little bit, and I briefly mentioned some stuff I was writing about for the playbook. So I wanted to come back to it today because he's been under six fantasy points now in consecutive games for the first time since weeks, 10 to 11 of 2023, when he was still with the Titans. He's also averaging a career low 3.9 yards per carry this season. So a little bit of a little bit of a concern that we're wondering when he'll fall off a little bit. Hopefully not yet, but so far so bad in that department. But I'll say this. This is why I'm not super worried. If you go back and look since the start of last season, so this is a game, a sample of 24 games. He's been under 12 fantasy points in nine games. Yeah. He said 19 plus fantasy points in nine games. Hmm. So he definitely is a boom bus nature to him because he doesn't do much in the passing game. Obviously, remember, he did start the season well. He opened the year with 15.9 plus fantasy points at five straight games before these two got so he's been good this year, Lamar Jackson could be back this week, which would help. And the most important thing is playing the bills, the team, their 501, but the defense is not the reason for that. They are last and defensive EPA. They will have nine touchdowns and the third most fantasy points to running back. They've a lot, at least one running back touchdown in every game. And I think it's pretty safe to say if the Ravens running back score touchdown, who it's going to be there. Can't just do well. Sorry. Lamar sounds like he'll be back this weekend. We'll stop short of guaranteeing anything, but Derek Henry certainly gets a boost from Lamar. I wonder if the bills wish they could have Sean McDermott just as their defensive coordinator. Yeah. That would have been nice. I don't think coaches take head coaches take too kindly to reduce roll. So like that. And it's one of the reason why this is a slight tangent. I respect Vance Joseph so much. The Broncos DC. He's obviously excellent at what he does. Vance Joseph was the Broncos head coach and unseremoniously dismissed by the franchise. A few years later, he comes back and takes a defensive coordinator job with them. Yeah. Like that, that to me, I think is reflective of strong character of Vance Joseph, which I know that's not fantasy football related, but I've always had that thought and I always wanted to get it off. Let's get to a wide receivers. Let's talk about some wide receivers guys, diving into the rankings here, one through 10 for here in week eight Drake London comes in at wide receiver seven, taking on the Buccaneers at least 10 targets in four of his last five games and at least 12 fantasy points in all of those games, three games of those over 18 plus looking to slide the good combo. Yeah. What about Garrett Wilson? Garrett Wilson's been a little bit of a downturn here back to back weeks where he has not been quite as good because you've seen Omar Cooper Jr. really step up. That's why Garrett Wilson, rather than being a high at wide receiver two, and at the back end of that wide receiver two conversation taken on the Raiders this week. And then wide receivers 21 through 30. We talked about this a little bit last, excuse me yesterday, trade Tucker. Is it real or is it a mirage? what he's been doing the last few weeks. He's at least put together some really big games. Go check out the mirror of lies game that we played yesterday. It was a lot of fun if you went through the fantasy house of wars. Let's talk about a couple of guys here, though. Mike, Jacobi Myers. Yes. Worth it or not worth it. Flex radar, not flex radar. I would say flex radar for him. I picked out a couple of guys today. I wanted to talk about because we never talk about them. Myers fits that bill, but he's very much on the fantasy radar. When we most recently saw the Jags, which, as Phil mentioned, was before thereby 10 targets, five catches, 83 yards, 10 targets in that game. Matches his game high in 16 games now with the Jags. So he's basically at a full season with Jacksonville. That matches is high. He's been up and down this season, 12 plus fantasy points, three games under six and a half in the other three games, a plus target twice, a total of 10 targets in the other four games. So it's been all over the map so far. Guys, his 15 and a half percent target share is his lowest since he was a situational rookie back in 2019 when he was with New England. So it's been a while now. Not sure that's going to change. I think it's going to be kind of all over the map, depending on the matchup because they've so many mouse to feed in this offense, even if they trade Brian Thomas. He hasn't been a factor anyway. He's not going to matter. So yes, did you see Liam Cohen say something to the effect of like, we're going to get Brian involved this weekend. Brian Thomas. You're just going to have a roll. Yeah, but then next week it's going to be like, we have to get Jacoby back involved and then, you know, they won't use Parker. We know what that roll engine. They want to use Travis Hunter who had his best. I think he was being diplomatic when asked about, yeah, his role is to pack up his house and make sure that he's at the important time to go to his next destination. Well, guys, if you're hoping for a lot of passing in volume and this one, you might not get it because the colds have allowed the fifth fewest past completions this season, only two receivers. They flowers and carnal T have even reached 14 and a half fantasy points against them. And they're probably going to be even worse now because they're not going to, you know, their offense is already, already stinks. They're two and five. They're trading the way good players seasons over for them. So they might be able to run the ball a lot in this one. Should be a tune and Rodriguez game, but there might not be enough volume to feed all these mouths in the Jacksonville offense. So Myers on the flex radar, but I very much worry about consistency and his ceiling, frankly, you're going off the grid here and picking a player. He rarely talks about Jamison Williams. You know why I'm going to talk about him is because I need to say some bad things. Oh, what? Oh, yeah. Coming off a great game. I know. No, no, no, listen, good things come to those who wait started really slow. We've talked about that. First three games, all three of them were under nine fantasy points. Last three games. They've all been over 16 fantasy points. That's been great back to back games with two touchdowns. However, that's not sustainable. But this matchup against Minnesota is going to be so difficult guys. And this is where it's at. Here is what players have done against Minnesota so far this year. Christian Watson scored 32.7. That was really good. Matthew Golden scored 15.5. Same game. That was also really good. Other than that, no wide receiver has top 12 fantasy points against the Minnesota Vikings so far this year. And when you look at back at what JMO has done against a Brian Flores defense here is last six games against the Vikings or Brian Flores was the defensive coordinator. 9.3 0.6 9.4 16.6 and 5.7. So the guy that we've seen over the last three weeks where it's like, how do I not keep rolling with this point train that is James and Williams the matchup and what we've seen historically from him against a blitz heavy Brian Flores defense. It's not that he can't make his hey near the line of scrimmage and let his legs do all the work. But you know, a lot of what he does is you have to have time for the play to develop downfield. Jared Goff and up against a blitzing team like this. Not going to have that same situation as much as I love James and Williams. He might still be a flex because you don't have another choice. But I have definitely lowered my expectations because this Minnesota defense is legit. He's the one line that I think is not a lineup lock this week. It does make me feel like I just this is the litmus test game for both of you. Yeah, great. Oh, yeah. How great is the lion's offense? How great is the Vikings defense? We'll have a better answer after Sunday. Yep. We sure will. All right, let's dive into the mail back here a little bit. My friends and shout out to our our buddy Eric Moody follow him on social media at Eric and Moody to get all your question answered. Motocar wants to know, do I start Michael Wilson or AJ Brown? My confidence is low on both. I lean towards AJ Brown. The target volume is really steady, even if the production hasn't gotten there yet. Yep. Agreed. I don't lean. I I fervently feel AJ Brown over a micro. We're going to get him going. Yes. Agreed. I am with you on that one. Next question. Dr. Tree, Kirk, Kyler or Geno this week. Six points per passing touchdown. Good context for there. That is. Give me a Geno or Kirk. Can I lean towards Geno? I would lean towards Geno as well, but it's also it would go Geno first then Kirk and then Kyler. Yeah, coming off a good game and another good matchup. He's excelled when he's had a good matchups. And this is one of those. Yeah. I'm in there. Six point per passing touchdowns actually. Revenge game. Colin wants to know, higher upside this week, Eli Raritan or Colby Parkinson guy. Oh, Eli Raritan. Oh, that's interesting. Yeah. Really? That's Miami. Yeah. Parkinson. He's their top receiving tight. And he's healthy now. I think he's healthy now. He seems to be at this moment. He's going to always make me something. Yeah. But he'd be the guy in that offense. Give me, give me him. I'm really glad. I wanted. So I was looking at it on Tuesday because you guys fill out the sheet for our week. So far in advance, we do our, our long shots. And I wanted Eli Raritan because he was 0.3% rostered. But it was yesterday. I had to wait. Make sure he got through waivers and then go up. He's now 0.8%. Oh, my god. I wanted over the touchdown against, you know, my, I like me this week. I think he's going to be a good player. I think he already is. Yeah, he looks apart. Yeah. Speaking of tight ends, not field. We're talking about Eli Raritan. Top 10 here, guys. We got some stranger things. Living in the upside down with Brenton Strange as a top 10 option right here. You know what's interesting? Mike, you just talked about this, which Colby Myers, Brenton Strange, eight plus targets in three straight games. Maybe that's where some of that volume has been going. He's at least involved in this. You look at tight ends 11 through 20. Harold Fanon comes in at tight end 13. The problem is his name isn't Boston or conception. And they've been given a lot of targets to those two guys. Harold Fanon is not seemingly the safety valve that he used to be last year when they were just devoid of other talent. Yeah. This year, he's just kind of falling back into one of the pieces until last year, one of the pieces until the big game. Yeah. But I don't think that's going to that is a peak. And I think it's going to settle in with like the three of them are going to be a higher floor last year. Mark Boombas this year. Yeah. They feel like Hunter Henry, though, I know we're talking about Eli Riordan, but like Hunter Henry's also been a nice option here field. He has been good. He's 11 or more fantasy points in four straight games. Last week against the Bears, he played 78% of the snaps. He's on the field. A ton. Yes. He ran 25 routes last week. That was second most on the team behind only AJ Brown. We talked about the match up here. Third most fantasy points allowed to tight end so far this season by the Miami Dolphins. Mike mentioned how frequently they've allowed touchdowns to opposing tight ends. And Drake May looks dialed in right now. Hunter Henry absolutely a usable tight end this week. If you told me that I had a tight end that is scored 11 plus fantasy points in four straight. And I could continue to roll with it this week. I would absolutely have their waiver pick up last night. Yep. Love that. All right. Guys, quick couple streaming defenses. We always got to do a few quick streaming defenses now that we're here. Defenses one through 10. A lot of options this week. A lot of options. Washington commanders. I want to think of them as a defense. I want to target. But the Eagles offense has not necessarily been great. Over the past five games, the Eagles have averaged 15.8 points per game. Obviously, they're playing with a backup quarterback and backup offensive lineman. And we'll see whether they have Sequan Barclay or Debian Pierce available or, of course, Ivante Smith available or Don Tavion Wicks available. So yeah, the skeleton crew Eagles is a good match up for this commander's defense. Yep. On the other side, Mike, the jaguars, not a bad option. I want to see what the roster percentages. Yeah, they've been, they've been fine. I think it's probably a, I would ballpark 30% on the Jags coming off the buy. I'm sure a lot of people dropped them. Although, it might have went up now that they, they went up. No, you, you just said they went up 30%. Right? That's exactly what you said. Yes. Yes. Yeah. You're spot on 56.5% rostered added in 28 and a half percent. So there you go. I said around 30. But yeah, obviously they had a buy last week often times got defenses like that. We'll be dropped in mass. They're going to be added back as a great match up here against the colds, the fourth most generous offense to opposing defenses this year. They've allowed five top 10s already, this season, including top two. Yep. Each of the past two weeks. Yep. So we'll just start in each dream line as well with Quentin Nelson being out there. There's a lot of good things that you like about this match up there. Fantasy face off guys. All right. Here we go. Who's going to be the judge this week? Judge Clay. Oh, yeah. Judge Clay. I feel wasn't sweet talking me all episodes. I don't know. Well, it didn't work last time. So why bother? That's actually a good point. It's a good point. That's a good point. All right. I'm going to start when it's quarterback spot. And I'm going to, even though I said some stuff. Yeah, you did. I'm going to go with my guy, Jared Goff. Why? Why would you do that? Jared Goff, guys. Did you know he's quarterback two on the season? Jared freaking Goff. Yeah, baby. There were three people. I swear three people on planet earth that believed in Jared Goff, Dan Campbell, Christian Harper and me. That's it. The only three coming into this season. Who's Christian Harper? Christian. That's my wife. Yes. Okay. So, um, oh, that's interesting. Did you have Jared Goff finishing his top three quarterback? Is one of your fantasy hot takes? I'm not saying I did. Oh, someone did. B. Yeah. I know Michael's on vacation. Not over yet. Yeah. Okay. Wow. Okay. That's just one man's opinion. All right, guys. He has at least 300 passing yards or multiple touchdowns in every single game this year. Five straight games of at least 18 plus fantasy points. I know. Yes, dreaded Vikings defense. I just talked about a game. Oh, I understand that. That is a hard part. Here's the thing though. He is averaging 14.1 points Thanks for the game. Brian Flores led defense. Three of those games were over 18.8 fantasy points. Half of them he's had really good games against this squad. It also highlights how bad the bad games are. So you are definitely buckling up for what could be a very nice usable. He's hit 20 points against this Brian Flores defense in the past in the last three years. But also two games in a nine and a half fantasy points. So I understand there's a little bit of risk there, but the guy's been slinging it. This is maybe one of the best. If not the best offense right now for a quarterback who doesn't utilize his legs to be a part of Jared golf. I think I'm still in on against the Vikings over whoever field is going to bring it to me. Jacobi Berset and you said that the lions are the best offense with a quarterback that doesn't need to run going right now. Is that correct? That's incorrect because the best offense with a quarterback that doesn't need to run is whoever is playing against the Dallas Cowboys. And that's what we find Jacobi Berset this weekend. The game is in Dallas. The Cowboys have allowed the fifth most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. They played seven games four of the seven quarterbacks that have faced the Cowboys have gone above 20 fantasy points. There were three that did not. One of them was Jalen Daniels, of course, the Buccaneers undrafted for Asian quarterback making just a second start ever on Thursday night football. They won that game, by the way. Tanner McKee, who was under 20 last week, but he's Tanner McKee and the Eagles had nobody available to throw two last year. Sure. Sure. And the other one was Jaden Daniels, who the Cowboys managed to hold to 14.7 fantasy points. Unfortunately, he only played half the game. So he was on pace for nearly 30 was Jaden Daniels. This Cowboys team all off season. They did the smart things here that they threw resources of their defense and Jerry Jones didn't say anything inflammatory. It turns out none of it worked. It didn't matter. The Cowboys are already holding players only meetings. The Cowboys are already bringing in consultants on defense. This defense is so wretched, so atrocious. The Cowboys are going to score against Arizona and Jacobi percent is going to do what Jacobi percent does better than any quarterback in the NFL right now. Claw his way back, not for the Cardinals of real life, but for your fantasy squad during the second half of this game, Jacobi percent over Jared Goff. This is a compelling on both sides. Both well done. What was compelling? What is that? What was compelling is that he's had good games against Brian Flores. Yes. But what were you lost me? I think you'd shot yourself in the foot was he's had in half the time he's had horrible games. You cannot get burned that badly. I think for sets, Flores a little higher against his defense. So I give this one to field. I thought you had it though for a minute, but that was good. That was close. That was a close call. Thank you. All right. Between Flex appeal last week when I went five five now. That's your right. Come where I'll ruin that right now. Yeah. All right. Let's go with the next one here. I made the case here for Josh Jacobs. The Packers played tomorrow night. We'll talk about this game in further depth. The Packers have their running back back in the fold for the second game this season. Remember, he played just 35 snaps on Sunday and he still was incredibly involved. He had seven targets in his first game. Back. So we had a target on 20% of his snaps. He also had double digit carries did Josh Jacobs. If that before we had until Sunday, we'll be sitting here saying Josh Jacobs might touch the football 30 times. It's a short week. So they might be a little more judicious with the touches, but not nearly enough. Did you guys know the Josh Jacobs has played six fewer games than the rest of his teammates. And he is only 106 yards behind March on Lloyd for the Packers leading Russia. He might legitimately be there by the end of the game on Thursday night. In part because the Panthers allow the most rushing yards per attempt to opposing running back. So Josh Jacobs in line for a busy Thursday night. He gets a decisive edge over Chase Brown. You know how when we do this segment, our producer gives us the names because he's looked at the rankings, make sure that we're doing this. And then he's like, all right, Daniel, let's you chase Brown against Josh Jacobs. And I'm like, I've chased Brown ahead of Josh Jacobs. I should relook at my rankings, guys. But let's talk about it. Now then, do I just get the weight? I mean, I, I have, I have brown right dead of Jacob. So wow. Yeah. Wow. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about why. Whatever makes the best case when hasn't been great so far. I already talked about chase Brown. Hey, guys, it's, it's about setting the bar low field. I set the bar so low that then I clear the bar like a hurtler in the second half. So here's the problem. Chase Brown, I understand inconsistency. We haven't liked it. We talked about it. The rushing inefficiency. We haven't seen as much receiving game work as we would like. So much a P Ryan. We talked about all the negatives. Here's the positives positives are he's touched the ball at least 15 times in every single game. Yeah, me. He's getting the volume. He's still out there on the field. Chase Brown is still attached to one of the best and highest scoring offenses or a chance to be one of the highest scoring offenses any given week of the season. While we understand that Samaj P Ryan has taken away some of that goal line usage, we are also excited about the matchup because they're taken on the Tennessee Titans. Every single running back that has had at least 15 touches against the Tennessee Titans has scored a minimum of 12 and a half fantasy points right now 12 and a half for Chase Brown would feel really good to be honest. But there's so much more room for upside given how bad this defense is. I am still leaning in on this Bengals offense with Chase Brown knowing that Mike gave us the reason why we're starting slow. That's all right, baby. Now I know that we're starting slow on purpose. He's going to pick it up here in the second half. I'm going to take him against this Titans defense rather than Josh Jacobs, who's still working his way back into game shape here on a short week Thursday night football. Yeah, this is this is a tough call because I do have brown higher and I've talked about brown improving as the year goes on. And also I don't know that Jacob's receiving work is sustainable. So I wanted to dock you for talking about the receiving when that's probably not going to hold up. But it goes to you. Do you have the better case you have chase over over I do I would start chase Brown over Josh Jacobs. How come like what was all the volume matchup, all those kind of things Jacobs is there's they're still throwing the football heavily. Green Bay did not balance the offense last week. I don't know when that's going to happen. So that takes away rushing volume from Jacobs and the receiving work is not sustainable. He had what two career receiving touchdowns before and then had one last week, of course, almost that too. So I still feel a little bit better about the volume for Chase Brown. So it's close, but it's like that. But that's all of the things. I just that's how we're job of. Yeah, you shouldn't have started out like. Yeah, you shouldn't have started out by saying I have regrets. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Putting if you didn't say that, you might know what I think about that. You did it yourself. I'm trying to be transparent, but in the court of law, I only need to give you the things that you need to hear about my side of the argument. I don't need to be transparent. That's a problem here. Yeah, once you came out of the game was like I already lost. I was trying to be honest with how we feel about things. All right, can I be honest about how I feel about AJ Brown? Yeah, I don't have a lot of numbers to back this up. Yes. Great. What do you want me to say here? This AJ Brown conversation is not about numbers. Just flat out. Yeah. Period. Like we brought AJ Brown. We the Patriots brought AJ Brown over to this squad to be the clear number one with him and Drake May. Right. We it's taken some time. Yeah, it's been a little bit to get going. We all understand how that feels as fantasy managers. First off, he gets hurt. That's even worse. Then he comes back and you think, wait, we can deploy him right on a starting lineup. I know it's bent off. His name is Arthur one brown for a reason. Guys, he is going to be the deep threat. He is going to be the volume guy for this offense. I know. We've been spread around a little bit of everyone else, but it's AJ Brown. If you can't trust him this week, when can you trust AJ Brown? Honestly, none of the numbers work well to say you need to start them because the numbers have been really bad. This is about the character and the guy that we know, AJ Brown is on the field and what we expect and what we've seen out of Drake May. You put those two skillsets together. We should still see a match made in heaven. It just hasn't happened yet. I'm still buying in on that eventually happening. Why not this week? If not now when that's it was a quote that was on a wall in my high school. So always think about it. If not now when it kind of gets the brain into a pretzel there. You know, you guys last year, George Pickens. I think was other second team all pro or at least was very nearly named in all pro last season. So compared to where he was last year, his last five games have been just okay. 80 yards plus per game and nearly nine targets per game. And then you think about in the context of what AJ Brown is studying. You're like, oh my God, if I could get five catches and 80 yards from AJ Brown, I would be doing a back flip like Kim Skataboo right now. So George Pickens even during an okay stretch has been decidedly better than AJ Brown, who is exactly three catches in each of his three games played so far this season. So unless you think his catches are going to go for an average of about 70 yards on Sunday, then AJ Brown's three catches are not nearly good enough to get George Pickens against the very bad Arizona Cardinals defense in your lineup. So Pickens once again wins me this fantasy face off clean sweep. You know, that was a good one. You've just taken the oh already. Oh, I'm just busy. It's like you line up in baseball afterwards. Everyone says good game. You know, that's what just happened. Yeah. This is also a fascinating one. But the fact is Pickens has under performed a little bit. They're feeding CD land the ball as much as they can. And the floor is a little lower. I tend to agree with Daniel that like it's going to happen. If you've been watching AJ Brown recently, the floor is lower than where it was last year. He was just he's just he's been disappearing. I tend to agree with Daniel that it's going to happen between May and Brown. Brown's too talented, May is playing too well. The offense is too good. There's something to be said for that. So I will say Daniel get back in line field. Give me your jacket. No, you win. - Yeah! - Have you not watched Hell's Kitchen? - No. - No one. - Chef Ramsey does that, he says. He's trying to decide who's going home. And he says, Daniel, and then you start walking forward like you lost. Get back in line, field, give me your jacket. You go home. - How I get it, right? - Right. - There's deception. - Yeah. - All right, let's redraft, maybe. - So give it to you. Two to one, field wins it. - That was a tough one. That was a tough one. - That was, you guys did a great job, nice job. - Thank you. All right, we're gonna do a redraft to you guys. - Oh, yes. - This is why I love this sound effect. - That's my, that's my, I never have my sound on, but that's my text tone. - Makes me think of April. - I'll turn it on, someone text me. All right, let's, I wanna hear it. - I wanna hear my text. - Everyone please text, Michael. Let's take a quick look back at the top 30 in ADP coming into this year as we were drafting them guys. We'll throw it up here on the screen. I'll do the best I can to read through it. Jaw, obviously, was the number one. John Mirgibs, Bajan Robinson, Jamar Chase, Pukinakua, John and the Taylor, JSN, Christian McCaffrey, Amin Ross, James Cook, and CD Lamb. That was the top 10 of fantasy, 11 through 20 year. Justin Jefferson, Devon H. Chan, unfortunately, now out for the season. Saekwan Barkley, Derek Henry, O'Marion Hampton, Yikes. Chase Brown, Josh Allen, Drake London, A.J. Brown, and Ashton Gentie. That's players 11 through 20. An ADP of 21 through 23 in this years. Drafts, Tremac Bride, Brock Bowers, Ken Walker III, an ADP of 4.45. Then Jeremiah Love, Nico Collins, George Pickens, Rashi Rice, Crystal Lava, Javante Williams, and Lamar Jackson. Couple of big names in there. Couple. Only one name. - Couple of dozen big names. - The only name inside this top 30 that we've legitimately lost to injury is Devon H. Chan, which is great for us. Everybody, it feels really good so far. Obviously we're wishing the best for Devon H. Chan coming back. Let's go through and determine how we would do the first three rounds of drafts again. - Let's do it. - I'm going to start with pick one, then feel it's going to go pick two, Mike's go pick three, and then we'll just kind of snake back and forth like we would. - I have a question. Are we just taking the top player on our board or are we trying to make it team up? - No, this is not building a team. - Okay, good, okay. That's what I thought. - Top player on the board. - Yeah, because it's a three team league. - Yeah, please. - All right, great. All right, let's roll. Who's going first? - Pick one dot O1, guys. I'm still going with Jamiar Gibbs. - No, we're doing a snake draft. - Because it's a pretty easy one. - The easy one. - First, me, to Mike, to back to me, to Dean and for two, et cetera, et cetera. - I don't think I need to say a lot, but Jamiar Gibbs is still the obvious one dot O1. He has absolutely lived up to those expectations. When his disappointing weeks are 17 and 1/2 fans at the point. - We talked about it very exactly. That's exactly right. This Sunday was the worst we could have seen from Jamiar Gibbs, and he was still really good. I think the two was the worst spot to be in this one through three draft order here. I think there are sort of four players that stand above the rest. Choosing number two is hard. I'm going to go to Kenneth Walker III, though he has been unbelievably exceptional for the Chiefs. And the Chiefs have been tapping into him as a runner, obviously. But he's got a good floor because of the receiving work, whereas the Falcons on occasion don't involve Bijan in the receiving game as much as they should. And I freaking love JSN. He is doing other worldly things right now, but we're going to get to a dried out running back spot before we get to a dried out wide receiver spot. So I'd go Walker at number two. - Yeah, first spot. I'm going to take JSN here. Of course, he has 40 more fantasy points than any other wide receiver this season. 66 more than the third place wide receiver. He is just crushing the field. Guys, his weekly finishes so far. Sixth first, first, 31st, what a dud that was. Eighth, fourth and first. I mean, unbelievable. Top eight or four top one, seven weeks. Is that four or three top ones for him already? Three top three ones already on the board. He is just a cheat code right now. So give me JSN and then I'm going to go to their running back. Well, quite a couple of weeks here for Bijan Robinson, but I still believe in him moving forward. The guy is just so exceptional, a huge part of that back field, even with Brian Robinson involved. They've been run heavy with or without Michael Panic so far this season. So give me Bijan. - O reliable Christian McCaffrey comes in at number five for me still up over 20 fantasy points per game. He's not quite in that same tier as I think where Gibbs and Walker have been so far, but he's at least in the conversation with Bijan Robinson based off how he has performed so far. The question for CMC is can he hold up? Safe to say it's a well timed by week for San Francisco this Sunday. - If I had to go with someone here next, I can't believe I'm going to say this. - But I think it's CDLAM. - Wow, okay. - I think CDLAM, 53 reception, 651 receiving yards, six receiving touchdowns, 81 targets, obviously leading all wide receivers. He's an unbelievable guy. I understand that Pukinakua is a better wide receiver, but I feel like there's just some volatility with Pukin weekend and week out. Mike, we talked about this this off season more with Nico Collins, but it's not like just when you don't have Pukin, you have zero, you'll have the fill in. I just think CDLAM has been so good that you can trust him weekend and week out on have the same fear that I do. - Well, the good news is if you like Pukin enough to consider him at that last spot, you could take him at this spot if you so choose. I'm going to take Pukinakua at this spot because he's the next best wide receiver on the board, guys. And that one is pretty easy for me because I think at that point, even with the concerns that you have, Pukin is just the volume monster and that's not going to change, especially now that we don't have to volunteer items for a number one. - Next pick for me and this one is basically a toss up between Almanra Stain Brown and Jamar Chase. I'm going to go with Jamar Chase here, just has slightly more big play upside than Almanra who Almanra has been amazing once again. He's a little more vulnerable within his own offense to have a quiet ish week, right? Then Jamar Chase is even with T Higgins. So I go with Jamar Chase over Almanra, but it's very close. - Yeah, that is a close call and that makes my pick easy. I'm going Almanra St. Brown, sorry, Daniel. You already have a lion. I would like to lion his floor is about as high as you can get in fantasy football. He has been exceptional as of late. He had like what the first half of the game last week, just totally crushed it. 21 fantasy points per game this season, still getting a massive target share in a high scoring offense. Tough one in this week against Minnesota. We'll see how he does, but you should see a lot of targets if they are blitzing so much. He should be open in the short area. So give me Almanra. I'm my next pick. I'm going to go back to the running back well. I don't know which team this guy is going to be on a couple of weeks from now, but give me Jonathan Taylor. He's still at the peak of his game in terms of his rushing ability. He's been exceptional this year with 20 fantasy points per game. He also has a tough match of this week in Jacksonville, but I'm curious to see where he falls either either way. He's going to be the heartbeat of the offense. He's on. So give me JT just to go back to the pick prior to JT Mike. I felt like there were 10 players and kind of separate of themselves from the pack. The ones that we just, just we discussed one through 10 Gibbs Walker, Bijan, JSN, CMC, Puka, Lamb, Chase, Almanra. Those 10 to me some order were justifiable selection. That was my top 10 as well. Mike has Taylor at number 11. He was also my number 11. My number 12 here. I'm going to go with Blake neighbors, who has four straight games of 100 plus receiving yard. He's been excellent to this giants team. Obviously, funnels through him and Isaiah likely good arguments for a couple of running backs here, but giving me Malik neighbors who has been in Fuego of late. All right. I like it. I'm sorry. I'm trying to keep track of all the guys. 13 on my board. So he goes 12 and you had him 13th. All right. He went 11th. That was you were the 11th pick. I was. I'm sorry. Then you picked 11. So Daniels. 123456789. Oh, I'm sorry. Yes. There we go. That's all right. My apologies. I'm going to go with a running back here. Okay. A little bit farther on down the list. But I think being able to secure a running back that is one of these top five guys is important to me. James Cook. Yeah. I like that. I'm off the board. He was my best available before. Actually, he had a neighbor. So. Yeah. Three games of at least 20 fantasy points in the last five, at least 16 fantasy points in all of his last five games, a rushing touchdown. He was one of those guys that even though he has a rushing quarterback and all those things, he can still get in the end zone still very good. So I would go with James Cook. There my next pick. I'm going to go with Tramick bride. Okay. Oh. Tramick bride. There you want the little positional difference maker. I do. I mean, him and Brock Bowers are honest, still so close with each other. But the thing about McBride is he has double digit targets in every game, but one in every game, but one. That one game. Yeah. So he has at least nine targets in every single game that that positional advantage. Like we've talked about, it is Brock Bowers and Tramick bride and then there's a big drop off. So give me one of those guys. I need his quarterback to be healthy going forward, starting this week, but we saw last week, even with the backup. They flowers still lead. Lead lead. I thought about his day. His big play potential has been on display. So far this season, more target saturation for him. We hope Lamar is back this week. I had a couple of running backs and another tight end on my short list here, but I go with the Z flowers. Next. A bunch of running backs now on my next year here. So I'm going to stick with two of them here. One is Derek Henry, who again, I talked about him at length earlier on. I think with Lamar back, he will be fine going forward. He's had five of his seven games have been terrific to season, but he just happens to be coming off to duds. He's the one of the best rushers and scoring threats in the NFL who get back on track this week against the bills. And next up, how about this guy just continue? One of the, I would say boring us picks in the first few rounds of drafts this year. And he's just getting the job done much down on the back this week. Good offense. It's Javante William. You're recording back this. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He has been just fantastic again. Sometimes change of scenery's work. Yeah. And who would have thought getting away from Sean Payton would be the recipe for him, but it's been a mix of this Dallas offense and health and commitment by Dallas and no competition. And that's all still the case. They just waved. I'm already doing my card. Oh, again, yes. But they're just rotating the backups Tyler goods and helped out a little bit. it in this past game, but it is the Javante show. So he's a terrific safe fantasy play right now. Ironically, it's not always just the Kyron Williams show is Blake core of one of the best, probably the best number two running back in the NFL, but Kyron's still so good. Such a touchdown maker, really good offense. The schedule lightens up. It actually started lightening up of the past couple of weeks, also involved enough in the passing game that my next pick here is Kyron Williams to want. They Williams actually was the name that I had forgotten when I was putting together my top 30, scratched them on the side of the very end. Then I was like, he's going to go a lot higher than people might expect. Well, you did me a solid forgetting about him. So thank you. No, I would have taken him. I would have taken him right there. Kyron, but yeah, same idea. Your team's not sacked. We're just drafting. No, I'm stacked. I'm playing this out. Okay. Three team league. You're very used to those against your daughters. Yeah. Yeah. My teams are loaded and those guys, I'm going to go back to the tight end well at a feeling I was going to happen. 19.1 fantasy points as an average. And once he came back, the dude has been unbelievable, three-star games over 20 fantasy points in that tight end position. Again, once you get past those two, although you could throw Isaiah likely, maybe in that conversation, is just awful. I mean, that's why I didn't go for tight ends. It's because I think there's other options in those middle rounds that are going to be great values with the Laporta and Kittle and likely that there's there's guys in there that are pretty darn good. So I think the gap is close enough where I didn't want to go take those tight ends just yet. How big did you build your board out to? I stopped it. I think I, yeah, 30. And then I just, what I did was the positions of guys, I thought might make the top 30 and then just did an overall top there. They're a biggest reach so far that you have seen. No, I mean, the tight ends, I'm a little lower then, but we're going, let's see, my top 16 are all off the board. And then the two tight ends, which I had in the top 20, anyway. So yeah, so this is going as expected. All right. I got another pick coming up here, guys. I'm not going to go with Isaiah likely because I'd be three tight ends. That's too much guys, that's too much to worry. I don't know how I can't, when I look at this list, gentlemen, and I'm thinking about how good they've been to start the season. I'm going to go with Drake London. Okay. I love it. Drake London has been amazing. Here's the thing. London's only averaging 15.4 fantasy points, but that's because his first two weeks of the season were so bad because he didn't have his guy under center. Once we've gotten Michael Pennick's junior, you look at everything. Michael, excuse me, Drake London has done at least 10 targets in four of his last five continues to be a volume guy. I think the rest of the season is just going to keep being this guy. He started a little slow, but I think we're in a good spot with Drake London. I kind of feel like we've gotten to the point where you could really see names be five or 10 spots higher or lower than you would have anticipated them going. I would say, by the way, before you picked it, a very big name notable name that hasn't gone yet appropriately, but yes, I think you're referring to a player who might hit the gritty very nicely when he scores touchdowns. Yes. He is not going to be my next pick here is I'm sort of sifting through running backs and the player that I think I would take if there wasn't a suspension, potentially hanging over his head is Josh Jacobs, but I'm not going to take him here because I just am concerned that yeah, he might be RB eights until week 14, but he could be at any point. The NFL could further punish him. So I'm going to go with Bucky Irving here thought about others. Bucky has been amazing so far. This season we have not seen nearly the threat from Kenneth Gainwell, Bucky has gotten the job done as runner. He's gotten the job done as a receiver as well. This Bucks offense has been able to stem the tide without Baker Mayfield Baker back last week. I like this team and make a push in the NFC South. All right. So I'm going to take the guy was referring to Justin Jefferson at this point feels like I have to I have to take him at this point. So talented, but the hope is just that his games are more competitive for now. The target show will transit target share that he's had, which is really high. We'll translate to actual targets and production. We'll see it's going to be him. And then the other one is going to be a little surprise. I have a pair of running backs. I'm looking at I'm going to go chase Brown. I think he gets going in the second half of the season. So a huge part of this offense. I took him over a notable name and I'll let you guys I'll see I'll see if you guys take him before it comes back to me. But chase Brown. Yeah. I think the notable name you're referring to could be action gentie. Yes. So I'm going to bypass here for Chuba Hubbard. How good is Chuba Hubbard been so far? Really good. Now awesome. The mitigating factor for Chuba is that when Jonathan Brooks is healthy, will the team give some work to him? I don't know when Jonathan Brooks is going to be healthy. And unfortunately, it's hard to say that once Jonathan Brooks is healthy, that he will remain healthy going forward. So give me Chuba. All right. I'm going to go with Deandre Swift as my next running back. Wow. He's been too good. Honestly, he's been really now that we get Caleb Williams back. Everything that he's been doing. And I do believe this bears offense is going to continue to take off. He has been low key. One of the better running backs in the NFL averaging 17 and a half fantasy points per game. And then I'm going to go with Ashton Gentie who was averaging 17 point four points per game. I was just looking at these two back to back. Deandre Swift has seven rushing touchdowns. Ashton Gentie has one that was me. Don't worry about it. It's just so crazy to think that Ashton Gentie's receiving game work is so like just carrying him in this major way. Most running back targets so far this season. Unbelievable. And to see Deandre Swift with seven rushing touchdowns and Gentie with one rushing touchdown. I know the offenses are very different, but just not what I would have expected coming out. I like I like to guys. I like Gentie over Swift, but I'm really worried about genties. It's just ineffectiveness as a rusher and what that means. If they evolve Mike Washington's role, I mean, it's a concern. That's why he fell this far. Basically, everybody at this point has concerns in different ways. I'm going to go Jalen Warren, though. The concern would be, hey, at some point, does he hold up this Rico daddle take on a more prominent role. Rico was useful this past weekend. I debated between him another running back and a wide receiver for my next pick. And I landed on Jalen Warren. He is so electric with the ball in his hands. All right. I'm going to take a couple wide receivers here. I'm going to start with Tedaroa, Mick Millan. I like the matchup this week against Green Bay. And he's been really good. Big part of that offense. I know they're coming off the dud, but I stand by him as a terrific play and tougher call here. But I think Chris Olavi might have some competition soon added competition in Jordan places. I'm going to go against him and go with one of the breakout players of the season here in Parker, Washington has been terrific. So far, he's averaging 15 fantasy points per game and he just looks apart. So give me Parker. This is a close call. There's definitely a tier of really good receivers at this point. I thought you'd go Matthew Golden with one thought about a play. I thought he they're all in a tier here. Josh Jacobs for me. I mentioned him a couple of rounds ago. At some point, it's, you know, like I think soon enough, we'll be having Josh Jacobs ranked as a top 10 play every single week. And that could come as soon as next week, assuming things go okay on Thursday night. And again, there's risk because you might get suspended. But for now, Josh Jacobs felt like last pick. Do you know at the end of Rocky for when we're in Russia and Rocky has just beaten a Von Drago and gives that speech that says if I can change, you can change anyone can change. I'm going to take Christian Watson. Wow. Guys, I'm back in on Christian Watson. Now the day is the appropriate length and hamstrings dude is unbelievable. It's been amazing. Honestly, this is one of those things where when you see a guy get himself right, rather than continue to be on the bandwagon of why I wasn't in. I want to switch my narrative and say, Hey, he looks fantastic. Obviously as healthy as he has been and the field stretcher that he is and the way that I mean, we'll see how it's going to work now that you got Josh Jacobs in this offense, things will be a little bit different, but still love everything that Christian Watson has brought to the table a really, really great value. Two names to me stuck out that did not get picked. Okay. Okay. Two names. Crystal Lave, Mike mentioned him. He's been so good this year. We'll see whether Jordan Tyson impacts that. And then Josh Allen. I'll add Matthew Goldman and T Higgins. Yeah, you mentioned Josh Allen. Yeah. No germ. I love. He fell out of there. Say quam Barkley. Yep. Breeze Hall. All tune Devon T Smith. All right. Let's get a couple of a couple of reactions from chat if you guys don't mind because they're weighing in on who they would have taken inside the top three. JSN should have been number two field. I honestly, it's really not a case against him. There we go. Well, Jeff C also says JSN number two. It's a tough one. I mean, you said this is the worst pick of the draft. I think I agree with you. I mean, just right. Walker's been elite too. I mean, I don't blame you for that at all with the position. Seems like chat blames field for it, but it's not his fault. Insane. The Vikings are six and oh, but Justin Jefferson is that far down the draft board list. It is. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. All right, guys. We're going to do some fantasy zombies. I think it's a good data point for us halfway through the fantasy room. Yeah. So I really do appreciate that we haven't had. I feel like it's at by the time we hit week seven last year or most weeks. We've got more guys in that top 30 that have fallen out. Like, you know what I mean? So I appreciate that we've had more health this year. Go to take a temperature check on that. Do you say the biggest riser and overall fantasy value for like the dynasty purposes? We think it is so far this season. Dynasty riser from week one. Walker Washington maybe. Yeah, Washington definitely is on the list. I'd say Walker's on the list too. Yeah, Walker. It's Walker. It's Walker. Yeah, but it's got to be Walker. Walker is not there. But he's on that short list. Definitely. He's definitely Johnson. I would say golden for sure. Golden is a good one. You just say that. I'm sorry. I was literally reading the list. She was a hovered on the long. I love how excited you were about Matthew golden. It made me feel good about me saying it though. Yeah, I see some fantasy zombies here. A player which will come back to life after a slow start to this season. Shout out to everybody. Quentin. So this was he actually. He this was great. Mike looks jack. That's a real picture of me. That is why weekend. Your arms are bigger than your head, Mike. Yeah. So like real life. Just like real life. Exactly. Let's start with you. Field yates. A player that you think is going to come back to life here in 2026 after a slow start to the season. A little bit of a hope in a prayer here. But how about Rashi Rice? Yeah. Rashi Rice who of course is out and sounds like there's a there's a least a chance he plays this week. This is contingent upon him. Can he help soon. His last full game before he got hurt. Remember, we had those seven catches on nine targets against Miami. A lot of short area stuff. The chief's wide receiver strength of schedule so far. And this is all, of course, a credit to Mike. 30 second hardest schedule for wide receivers. Rest of the season. 13th. And I think that Sunday night could be strangely useful for rosci rice because what the chiefs learned is that when teams can bottle up the running game, even if I do it a little bit, not to the degree that Seattle did it. The chiefs have no threats at wide receiver. No pass catchers that threaten the defense at all. I'm not confusing rosci rice with some of the players that we just drafted in the top 30 in terms of talent. But if you don't think rosci rice can help the chiefs offense more than what we have seen from the likes of Xavier Worthy and Jalen Royals and Travis Kelsey. I do respect. I think you're crazy. I'm with you. It should be one of those things where he just clearly gets back on track. Yeah. No, now. Mine guys is the Vikings. I cheated here. I'm just saying the Vikings offense as a whole in terms of opponents defensive EPA. So far, Minnesota offense has the easiest rest of season schedule, including the second easiest during the fantasy playoffs. Kyle Murray has the second easiest quarterback schedule, easiest in the playoffs. Wide receivers go from 10th hardest to the easiest rest of season schedule. And TJ Hawkinson has the third easiest rest of season schedule. He's been heavily targeted with Kyler in there as well. So games will be more competitive, gamescripts better, schedules easier. Watch out for the Vikings offense minus Kyle Murray, as I said yesterday. As we already talked about, I'm going to say something similar to Mike. I'm taking the Seattle running game because we're ideally going to be getting to extra I'm in a back at some point, has not been a guarantee we're going to get him here for a week. We'll continue to monitor that. We did get a trade quit Nelson. Just being a guy with that offensive line. It seems like it's pretty good. You still do the unit grades for for lines that are not in season. Not it not as much in season. I saw habit active, but I'm not as on top of it. So I don't have anything in front of me, but go up with quintess. They're they're they've like grades able to move into right guard, Jake Sondell's the center. Like that's better. We're in better. Definitely. Taco play should be good. So as of right now, we have had two games over 13.5 fantasy points from Seattle Seahawks running back. That's not necessarily good guys. They were both obviously Emmanuel Wilson. The whole point is was Zack Sharbinay coming back last year with the 12 touchdowns that he had. I may be did our own price gets back in and becomes like a little Ken Walker and we go back to it. I'm not sure that we're going to get top 15 top 20 value, but I do believe the Seattle running game will be more usable or at least more consistent when Zack Sharbinay is back. The problem is just the number of bodies. Sharbinay is going to eventually be back to our own price will eventually be back. I'm not saying Emmanuel Wilson has been amazing, but don't you guys think he's been good enough that'll probably still have like he'll be dressed on game day, you think, right? I don't know. I don't know. You might just be playing special teams. I'm not sure there's a very Miller thing, which because you're good. Nothing. Kendrick Miller has been good. But like early in the season, Kamera was hurt. Miller played and played at decent amount. Kamera returns and he was just inactive. Yeah. I hear you. Yeah. I think I think it might be something like that, but because also remember, Sharbinay hasn't been a great pass catcher. He had 42 catches two years ago. They didn't use him that way last year. They also don't target the running backs a lot. Generous price. That was a knock on him. Could George Alani be the three is like an occasional obvious passing down guy. But I do think the bottom line is they will lean on those two guys. That's why you take a first round running back and have Zach Sharbinay around. In theory, in theory, but we'll see. We'll see how that works out. A couple of questions actually from mail the mail back here. Someone's comes from a motor car. Do you guys feel like DJ Moore is going to come back to life at some point? Honestly, as long as he's healthy, yes. It was really good with healthy. He just got banged up and has missed what two or three games. I got him cheap a knockout and one of the knockout leagues for someone lost him. I got him really cheap the last night. So him and Nico Collins actually. There's a really tough week. I wanted to I wanted to do more money on Deandre Swift, but they're taking on Seattle this week in knockout. That's such a tough one. They got some knockouts tough for for fab. You have guys that are going into a buy like Nico that you get such distance. Oh, guys. Yeah, totally. Yeah. All right. Summary:

FAQs

Yes, consider dropping Patrick Mahomes if you're looking for upside plays. He's averaging only 11 points and has no rushing upside, with last four games averaging 15.9, 17, 10.4, and 6. His fantasy value has declined significantly, and he's not a consistent fantasy starter.

Cam Scataboo has a chance to return to RB2 conversations after an injury. He's now projected to play in weeks 9–12, with a potential 60–70% carry share. However, concerns remain about ceiling due to limited receiving targets and a weak defense, especially against the 49ers.

Jalen Waddle is questionable due to a previous chest injury. There's a 50-50 chance he could play, and if he’s out, Garland Sutton may see a boost in targets and could enter the flex radar.

With Tyrone Tracy on IR, Cam Scataboo is now a primary back for the Giants. Devon Singletary is getting increased touches, and Scataboo could see a return to RB2 status, though ceiling remains limited due to receiving target share and defensive issues.

Javonte Williams is a strong RB1 option with 21.2 fantasy points in one game. However, he's not consistently high-performing, and his ranking is based more on volume and big games than consistency, making him a solid mid-to-late RB2 pick.

No, Jamison Williams is not a reliable pick against Minnesota. The Vikings' defense has limited passing downs, and while he's had big games, he has no history of high production against Brian Flores' defense, making him a low-ceiling flex option.
