Whatever's holding you back, hymns has a real plan for it. Be confident, be hymn! It's still the time! Yeah baby! We keep questions. Everybody's got to get answers. Questions, oh math, lions, Vikings. Don't know what to make of that. Cardinals, cowboys, everybody's starting that. My mustache has fallen off, but not really, because it's right here. To me, 2027 ad mazer, along with the hottest dog in the world, Jamie Eisenberg. And a super trooper. What's your name? Ramrod. Rod Farve. Whatever it is, it's great to have you here. Welcome to the mailbag. Well, you did great, except you didn't say it's welcome to fantasy football today, presented by hymns. And it is mailbag time. And I've lost my far of a mustache here. I apologize for that, but Dan's not here today. So, Dave is in his place, addresses me. Good stuff. Me next year with the beard. And I should have, I should have gotten the setup for the Game of the Week thing. That was very, it was good, but if I were to do my Dave impression, I would have spoiled it for you. And then I would have known what that's like. Do you know how long I practiced singing Game of the Week? To the point where I decided that the funniest way to do it would be actually pronouncing banana. It's the Game of the Week, yeah. The word banana was my sound cue to help me do the start of the Game of the Week song. That's great, man. When you go back and listen to it, it was me yelling banana. I think you can move the mic away from your face now. I'll move it back down so we can hear you better. Why? This is where Adam Azar has his microphone, right? Not anymore. I've made a big change about that. Anyway, your questions today at youtube.com/fantasyfootball today will read your questions in the live chat. We will read your Apple Podcast questions, your Spotify questions. Please leave a five-star review wherever you can. And then a question with it. And email is [email protected] [email protected]. That is the letter I. We start. You can't look up anymore, by the way. Why? Because of the ring camera. No, I think it looks cool. Like, you look like an evil super trooper. Yeah. Okay. All right. Let's, uh, dance. That's super trooper. Dave, you should have dressed up as Dan for the mailbag. What do I, so I, what, what does that costume look like? I need to wear like an indie band from 2012. That's medium. Yeah, or a giant hoodie. Yeah. Here's our show. I could have worn the Super Bowl 21 jacket that I have. Oh, yeah, definitely. The giant Super Bowl. All right. A question from the chat. Bucks or Lions DST. Bucks. Daladala Bucks, y'all. I know it's bills, but you know, bucks. Seeing a ton of questions right now. So I'm going to give people some time. Oh, that's a good one. Jeff says that Dave, Dave should hold his mic, hold your mic. That's great. No, you got to take it off the mic. I'm not doing all that. Dave's costume should have been a tennis racquet and a bottle of Pepto Bizzball. I tried to find an acoustic guitar. Oh, for me. And I would have, yeah. And I would have tried to sing on the show. Another DST question. Commanders DST, the Bears or the Bucks. Bucks. I might have the commanders, the highest. Nope. I have the Bucks, one spot. I have Bucks, commanders, bears, all in a row. Bing, bang, boom. Someone I think asked in the previous stream. Do you think Dan has seen Super Troopers? No. Yeah, I don't think so. It does seem like the kind of movie he'd like, though. Chico Concoa, we're Tyler Warren. Warren, if you please. Correct. You see, we're great. Wonder where Tyler Warren ranks for the season at tight end. Because he has been pretty good. 10.3, 14.4, 14.7, 9.1, and 21.4 points per game. What's 70 divided by five? It's 12. No, it's 14. 14 points per game. He's averaging. That's pretty good. It's good for a tight end. That's really good. By the way, did you guys know that percent means like per 100? Yeah, I mean, that was one of the most idiotic things I've ever seen in my life. I mean, I don't want to say it like that because I've had moments where I've been like so stupid about things. You don't say that on television. He didn't know it was going to be on television, right? I mean, feel bad for him. Where are we here? Sorry. Hunter Henry, TJ Hawkinson, or Chico Concoa? Henry, I will take Hawkinson. Keenan Allen, or Romo Dunesay? Allen. Is it PPR? Can you see the screen? No. That's why I'm asking you. No, I don't know. If it's PPR, it's Keenan Allen. If it's non-PPR, it's probably still Keenan Allen, but it's a lot closer. Pick one. Wilson, Ibuka, or Omar Cooper, Jr. PPR. Wilson. Yeah. Dan would be far of 100%. Who has more brain cells, Adam or a cantaloupe? What? That's not nice. That's not way to insult the cantaloupe. Eric. Not cool, man. Wow. I expect a little more from Eric. Would you drop Kenneth Gainwell or for Chris Rodriguez? I'd rather have Chris Rodriguez. I would too, but that's a roster spot that I would probably speculate on with other players. Like Seth MacGowan. Seth MacGowan's a good one. Elijah Mitchell for this week, just to see. How about one of the, how about Devon Singletary? If he's out there and you don't need a running back this week, that would be a guy I would want to carry. I'd rather roster Emma Johnson or some Ajay P. Ryan or any of these handcuffs that could be starters. Yeah, and here's the thing. We had a brief glimpse of what life was like without Bucky Irving. He left one of the games, you know, for like a court, not even a quarter, a couple of possessions, and it was Sean Tucker who was getting the work and not Gainwell. Didn't we get a more than a brief glimpse last year? I know Gainwell wasn't on the bucks, but we're shot white. So what they did was they gave us shot white the role, and he kind of blew it. And then they gave it related Tucker. And then we're shot white blew out of Tampa. Yeah, that's true. Thank you. We are the fun dad fantasy football podcast. I think that's kind of the vibe we're going for. I think that's kind of what we are. Yeah. Pick two Antonio Williams, Jacobi Lane, Mike Washington, or oh, Goodson. What is this just to start this week? Well, Williams is the easy one. I'd probably just take a chance on Lane with Lamar back against ball grade or Buffalo's defense. Rashad White, Jordan Lough, Jeremiah Lough, pardon me, Rashad White, Jeremiah Lough, Jordan Mason, Omar Cooper, pick two half PPR. White and white. Okay, if Jones is out, we're going to go Mason. The twist ending for today's show will be that heath is actually dressed up as Dave and personating Adam. Great. Pick one, Jeremy Bernard, Jordan Mason, or Jonah Coleman. Jeremy Mason, if Jones is out, otherwise, Jeremy. We're good news, I guess, for Kirk Cousins and bad news for the Jets David Bailey, their first round pick, second overall pick. He is doubtful. Not practicing today. I know that he was on the side field yesterday. I didn't know if that mean if that meant that he wasn't going to play every Sunday. I bet it's limited. And then he's going to be questionable and then he'll play and get a hundred total yards. London or Parker, why you saw the Panthers fire their demons coordinator, right? Oh, they did. Yep. That's just taking the fall. That's sad. And sorry, Parker Washington or Drake London, PPR. London, both close. I would start London as well, both top 10. Okay. And a few more here and then we'll get to some e-mails, Tony Pollard or Breeze Hall if he plays. Breeze if he plays. Breeze. I cannot give away a Breeze Hall right now. Okay, no one. Really? That's surprising. Well, you're in the eliminator league, right? Yes. Apparently. Do you want him? Let's see if I need a running back. Let's do this, man. Let's make a trade live on the air. But I want a running back back. Sorry, three and 11 team. I'm starting zone of a night as one of my RVs right now. I have Woody Marx and Devon Singletary on the bench. Yes, I could use a running back upgrade. Your team sucks. Oh, yeah, that's bad. I'll give you Breeze Hall and I'll give you Breeze Hall and Braylon Allen. No, I'll give you Breeze Hall for Garrett Wilson. And then who would my receivers be? Jeremy Bernard, Lad Maconkey, Courtland Sutton, this team is awful. I don't know if Breeze Hall is going to be able to save it. Well, that's not the point. The point isn't me. Don't you want Courtland Sutton? I think you do. I don't really. No, I know. I know. There's a, I can't believe this is my worst team. There's no question. You're having a good year. Don't worry about it. All right, Sunday morning. Join us. I'm this league. We do have better teams than this. You can take our advice. Sunday morning youtube.com I'm slash fantasy football today 11 a.m. To 1 p.m. Eastern also you can watch Dave on CBS Sports HQ from noon to one Eastern No news and notes just yet except for what I told you about David. This is a great tweet. By the way, I'm just looking for news from Pat Thorman from established the run He was a quote tweeting the underdog Truggan Henderson officially doesn't practice Thursday because of sinus because of illness and he said at least his sinuses could block Oh, that's mean that's funny Yeah, I don't appreciate it He's a Trayvon Henderson is a good guy going through a tough time in his second season. We don't pick up. That's fine a breeze hall limited, by the way Yeah, all right first email at fantasy football at CBSI dot com It's from West and he says hey Jason Michael Freddie and Frank Oh, those are guys in the newsroom. Who's Frank Frank and Stein? It's Frank Furter. He's right there next to me. What are your favorite Halloween or just fall traditions movies food? You name it Fall traditions Halloween or fall traditions To make it through football season There's no time for anything To convince my wife that it's okay to give out candy to kids on Halloween Wow you guys really that's a sorry as tradition. I know this is dude. My kids are they don't even want to be around me on any day I certainly don't want to run me on Halloween Adam. We got off the air at 10. Yeah, I took a 15 minute nap because I slept three hours less I've been trying I really want to watch horror movies. I got a love watching horror movies Especially ones I've seen before but I've watched like two. I did watch the Carrie minisex some of the Carrie series. I watched good. Yeah, I only watched like the first episode and then the last two my wife watched the whole thing, but it was very good and My thing my I liked okay, I sit down on the couch during the day I do my notes for the game and I put on like AMC and I just watch whatever stupid horror movie for like horrible terrible 1980s horror movie is on whatever and that's kind of a tradition of mine We used to go to this thing called the jack-a-laner blaze or the pumpkin blaze or something where they make like The Statue of Liberty out of pumpkins or you know, whatever out of pumpkins But it pissed me off because none of the pumpkins are real. They're all plastic It's all the same thing every single year people pay so much money for this like 50 bucks a ticket or some crazy Well, come on. Where's the effort here? Oh, you sounds great We used to do that and then we'd get some apple cider after which was nice I'm just trying to give a nice answer here other than these you go on like Fall hay rides do they have that so when I lived in city hollow They have you can imagine what sleepy hollows like I lived there for eight years You can imagine what that's like for Halloween and I because of the job. I basically did nothing I never did a single thing really like they have they have a haunted hay ride They've got like all this crazy stuff. It's it's a tourist destination and I never really took advantage of it Unfortunately, but I do love Halloween. I'm very excited for trick-or-treating on Saturday I I think one other thing is like you know all the treats that are out there And I'm not talking about just like the candy that that's around but you know We we have it like a Halloween party here every year in the office and people bringing treats I actually happened to pick up a cupcake Just before we started the show and it's like staring at me right now here look at this thing like this you know Typical grocery store a couple like I kind of want to eat it. It's you know yummy. So it's those treats that eat it through the beard Okay Thank you for the question Weston I'd have to say my my favorite horror movie. I'm gonna I'm really gonna make an effort I'm gonna make an effort to watch hollow I Stump out I somehow did it without getting any beard hair in my mouth. I'm I'm impressed I'm gonna try to watch Halloween's whatever whichever ones are on I got to say Oh, I don't know look what I did I can't believe it It's a just lob this guy Such as oh what a mess I am just like Dan the the three most recent Halloween editions the first one was really good and the second two were the second and the third ones were awful just awful I will not watch those okay. This is from Thomas Now the hairs are there great the trade give it up Jamison Williams get a mecha a buka Oh, yeah, it seems about even from Emmett great the trade Ken Walker for Zay flowers and chase brown Zay flowers and chase brown for Ken Walker Giving up Walker you're getting flowers and brown It's pretty fair deal the other way he's giving up flowers and brown is getting Walker It's a pretty I believe it's pretty close to a fair deal on the trade chart. It's the type of deal you would expect to get for a walker Yeah, I mean you could certainly argue that Zay flowers. It's not even a fat like with Lamar Jackson. He's been better than Then everyone he's been the best player in fantasy. I'm pretty sure on the 45 routes. He's run with It's like 60 fantasy points on 45 routes. I'm crazy Nicholas said trade Ramandre Stevenson for Sam Laporta I have Swift Jutkins Dobbins and Emanuel Wilson. I have Friar Muth and Mason Taylor. So would you trade Stevenson for Laporta? I would not no really you'd rather Ramandre. Yep. Yeah. Love the role that he has This is from Anthony. It's just so hard to get running backs that are productive. I know, but he does have Swift and Jutkins and he's got terrible tight ends. I think Jutkins for Laporta is fair. Okay. It's closer. Yeah From Anthony if Breeze Hall plays would you play Braille and Allen or Dylan Samson? PPR Breeze Hall plays Alan or Samson and PPR I might go Alan. Yeah, all right. Let's get a break in here and we'll come back with I'm sure it is hilarious We'll be right back. Let's go in the garbage. Where did you get that by the way? I'm not at liberty to say. Okay. All right. We'll be right back on FFT Hey, I'm Tony DeCope will anchor of the CBS evening news on my new daily podcast great question With Tony DeCope we go deeper on the one big question. You haven't heard answered or it maybe haven't even heard asked follow and listen wherever you get your podcasts By the way, I forgot to mention we will have The fantasy cops on the show today. We got the we got a couple of really good ones something so I feel like this is how you dance to the fantasy cops music me Okay, Tenteen PPR league. Oh, this is a great question for somebody digging in the hot the Halloween spirit I need a running back in a flex Snake Corum Rashad Fright Colston hate land Oh scary in Hampton We need a running back in a flex Corum Rashad white loveland Hampton I would go with white and hate land I would go with white and Loveland to yes Okay, and then would you sit one of them for AJson brown AJ Brown with the right of the 13th twist AJ Brown over Rashad white or Colston lovely Maybe over white if he if Brown gets in like a full practice and he's good to go But short of that, I don't I I'm kind of nervous about AJ Brown I would do it over Loveland if he gets in a full practice. Why does my favorite of the group? All right, this is from Ben tough week with injuries and buys who do I start in half PPR and point two five points per carry I need one running back in one flex Travian Henderson Cory Keiner Dallas Goddard Aaron Jones. I'm also starting Jordan Mason at an I Mitchell and Traylon Berks Needs a what no what running back in a flex So we're the running back soon Henderson I've got her Aaron Jones I won't you get a run like King's guys and go with Henderson I would go with Goddard and then Goddard as a flex. Yeah, well no Wait, so I would go with Aaron Jones and Dallas Goddard. I would go Henderson and Goddard You would not start but okay, like I wouldn't be surprised if Cory Keiner got more carries and Travian Henderson at this point Yeah, but that could also look like three carries for eight yards. I know that's why I'm not going with either Patriots guy I'm saying right I see yeah Help I'm stacked at the running back position. Oh, good job Jim Don't know who to start 10 team league PPR We need two of these Jonathan Taylor Basel Tutan Chase Brown when I'm gonna start Sharburne so pick two Taylor Tutan or Chase Brown Uh Oh boy, I probably sit Tutan. I think I'd say chase Brown Is that Jamie Chestnut? It's for those of you don't know Jamie's hot dog costume Um Jim by the way is another dad with hot dog holes in just about everything he wears. All right, Jim, solidarity. We need a running, we need a wide receiver and a flex for Brian, Luther burden, Stefan digs, Ramandre Stevenson, Ameca Boca, Braille and Allen, Jonah Colman. burden is my receiver. I think I'd go Ramandre as the flex over digs and a Boca. I agree. I actually got digs over burden. Hmm, they're close. If Breeze Hall doesn't play, I might, I'd like to go Braille and Allen over Ramandre. Oh, yeah, that's true. I still have a Ramandre against the office. This is from record. Frank record. Give me one wide receiver and a flex and half PPR. Keenan Allen, Emmanuel Wilson, Omari and Hampton, Lad Maconkey. The former Chargers receiver and the current Chargers receiver. Yes, Allen and Maconkey. From Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, super flex. Four point per passing touchdown. Ranked these guys, Penix, Cousins, Malik, Willis. Cousins, Penix, Willis. I think, I think I might flip Willis with Penix, but it's close. From Mike, I need two in PPR, Chris Godwin, Caleb Douglas, Blake Koram, Omari and Hampton. Two regardless of position. Yeah, it's Caleb Douglas. Oh, yeah, you could be DeMario, you're right. If it's Caleb Douglas, I would choose him, and I think I'd go with Koram over Godwin since a book is back. If it's DeMario Douglas, he would be my favorite. It brown is out. It brown is out. Man, I don't know what I'd do here. I'd probably go, I'd go Koram and I'd go, I'd go, Godwin, if a booker were out and Koram. I'd go, Douglas, if AJ Brown were out and Godwin, if a booker were out, I have no idea. Ask us Sunday morning. From NJT, would you trade Tyler Warren for Cornell Tate? I have Chigel Conquo and John Johnson. You're giving up Tate to get Warren? No, you're giving up Warren to get Tate. Oh, yes. Yeah, I mean, Tate's got the injuries right now. Hopefully he plays, but he's got a great schedule. I talked about that on Wednesday. He really stood out one of the better schedules. I would aim a little higher first, but that's a good fallback option. But the thing is that this is why I brought it up, but Tyler Warren has been an elite fantasy tie-down, 14 points per game. Right, but anytime you get a situation like this where if he's going to be battling through something, do they shut him down? I guess, but Tate's injured, too. Well, Tate's injured, but we don't know what the situation is. Warren's misgames, and they're clearly not that the Titans aren't, but they're clearly telling you they're in tank mode. With H-Man, they trade Josh Downs. It's gonna be a lot of targets for Tyler Warren, not that they weren't anyway. All right, from Crosby, should I trade away J.J.? No, should I trade away Justin Jefferson and Jordan Mason for Chase Brown and Jalen Coker? Say one more time. Give up Justin Jefferson and Jordan Mason. Get Chase Brown and Jalen Coker. Have we lost enough Vikings already on the show? I think the brown side has a little bit more value on the trade chart. I'd stick with them. The only thing is is if Jones has any lingering injury, I'd rather have the Vikings buy a lot. One more email here from Big Al in SoCal. Four point per passing touchdown, start two. Matthew Stafford, Caleb Williams, Kirk Cousins, Bonix. Stafford and Cousins, I'm with you. Ready for some fantasy gaps? Oh yeah! Here we go. Here we go. All right, first email here. It's from Bernard. Any Germans? Yeah, let me start by saying I think you're an extreme loser if you drop all of your players. I never thought I'd be someone who would do that, but here we are. Maybe I'm overreacting since it's just a 10 team dynasty league in year one. I only joined because they needed one more person and the commissioner is the only person I know in the league. The manager with the best team in the league, who has already fleeced like five people on trades. I'm not accusing collusion with some of these trades, which is very fishy. Set me an offer for Jameer Gibbs after he had a baddish game in week seven. So he offered Tyler Algier. I have Jordan. I have Jeremiah Love. He offered me Tyler Algier, a 2027 first and like four or five third and fourth round picks for Jameer Gibbs. Tyler Algier, a 2027 first and four or five third or fourth round picks in dynasty. Obviously, this is an insulting offer. I told him I would accept, but I really just wanted to let the offer sit so he'd think he pulled off the fleece of the century. Well, I guess later that day, the other managers showed the commissioner a screenshot of me saying that I'd accept. And then the commissioner put the trade through. What? Removed Gibbs from my roster and added the players and picks on the other side of the trade to my team. I was obviously livid and I called out the commissioner in the group chat. The commissioner refused to reverse the trade because I technically agreed to the trade. He told the guy was going to do it. He just never accept to make things even more excuse me to make things even more fishy. I just so happen to be playing the commissioner in week eight and the manager who got Gibbs and traded Kyron Williams to the commissioner because he no longer needs Kyron Williams. I'm someone who rarely gets genuinely angry, but this really set me off because I honestly had a chance to win the league. I was in third place. The commissioner and the other manager were in first and second. Neither of them would budge on giving Gibbs back to me. So I ended up dropping all my players and probably saying some things that I should not have said. What do you think fantasy cops? I mean, obviously you acted in inappropriate by dropping all your players. Just quit the league. I know. Quit the league midseason. Well, I mean, if you're dropping all your players, you're essentially quitting the league. The commissioner screwed him over clearly by saying that the trade goes through when there wasn't physically accepted. Yeah, that's ridiculous. Can't do that. Well, but there's also, I don't know, man, like you've got to be a man of your word. And if you're going to tell somebody, oh, yeah, I accept the deal only to just be like he was planning on being a jerk about it and then not actually accepting the deal, but saying yes, I accept. Like these things happen amongst people who they just want to get a trade through. Oh, yeah, you know, little Timmy or whatever his name is said that he would accept the deal. And then next thing you know, the deal is done. Don't say I accept next time. Just say I'll think about it and just let that offer sit if you're going to be petty or you could just be an adult and say that's an insulting trade offer. I would never give you Jameer Gibbs. This person clearly acted in the wrong way all the way around. Right. Everybody everybody here is acted completely and appropriately. But this is what Dan does and you're doing a great Dan. Like we're still we've got to be the fantasy cops. And in this situation, that trade never should have gone through. You cannot accept. You cannot on behalf of all. But we can't rectify that though. He's not acting us to rectify that. That's how how does he prove to the commissioner that he didn't really want to accept the trade? Doesn't matter. He didn't have to prove anything. But he said in a text that he did. Doesn't matter. If that's it does because he holds the other party. I accept the trade. No, it doesn't matter. He is verbal confirmation is not the confirmation of the trade. That's so verbal isn't binding and fantasy football. No. Okay. Of course. Well, this lead didn't get that. He would have had he would have had an argument. If he hit accept and was like, Oh, bleep, I hit the wrong button. And I didn't mean to do that. And then maybe there's an argument there. I wouldn't have agreed with him. But that's saying I. Yes. And then the commissioner putting the trade through because he sent him a text message. No way. Yeah. And I do. I don't know about that. I do see a little bit of the suspicion of the commissioners playing him this week. And yeah, it doesn't make sure. Yes. And gets Kyrie Williams. So all right. It's fishy. But yeah, you shouldn't have the whole thing one giant fishy bowl. And facts to be quite honest, you should be kicked out of the league for dropping all your players. So I think it's better. The best of you all just part ways. I kicked my own dad out of the league because he dropped all of his footage. True story. This is from Brian. This dear John Tim Kyle and Jay. Your John Tim Kyle and Jay. Bronco Max Kyle. You call it Bronco's quarterbacks. A manager and our league did not have internet due to being invited invited to a wedding in the woods. Yes, that's actually a thing here. Months before we set the date for our draft. He had the first overall pick. And instead of picking Jamir Gibbs, auto draft selected pukinakua was I within my commissioner powers to restart the draft and ensure that he was given Jamir Gibbs at 101. No. Was he there? No, he wasn't there. He was at a wedding in the woods with no internet access. I mean, unless he said, hey, I want this player. First overall, you are at the victim of what the auto picks give you. Yep. True. All right. Sorry, buddy. This is from Leroy. We vote on trades. The people trading and the commissioner don't vote. However, this time the commissioner is included in the trade. How would you proceed with a locked vote of five five, since the commissioner cannot break the tie? Two options. The commissioner not allowed to vote at all on any trade. - The way I interpret this is that no, he's not a lot of vote, but it does appear that the commissioner can break the tie if there is one. However, the commissioner is involved in this trade and cannot break the tie. - They've come to the right place. We will break the tie for them. - That's what I was gonna say. That's one of two solutions is we can break the tie for them or because there isn't a majority on either side, no trade, no deal. - Yeah, I don't have the trade, so I think it's gonna have to be no trade, no deal. - Oh, they can always write back. - I guess so. - A Leroy to write us back. - Be a little late, though. - This is from Edison. - I just didn't give Adam a phone number. - Five, six, one. (laughing) - Wait, you got mustache, Jamie? - Yeah. - The whole day? - The whole thing I noticed? - No. - The second he signed on. - I was like, "Oh, wow, Jamie, shit." - To keep messing with it. (laughing) - No, I did not know to why. - I figured it'd just complete the hot dog outfit. - Oh, it's good, yeah. It's almost November. - You have a mustache. - All right, this is from Edison. - His mustache stayed on. - It sure did. You know, I walked into the, real quick. I walked into the studio in my little recording suit room and I saw something on the floor and I thought it was like a huge bug. (laughing) It was the mustache. - It's funny you say that because, for anybody that was watching earlier, when my dog was barking. So I walked out, I'm upstairs in my house and she's sitting right at the door and I was like, oh no, she pooped. That's why she was barking. There was a leaf right at the front door, but I was like, man, what a relief that it was just a leaf. - All right, Edison says, I have an issue with one of our team members named David. He's been threatening, I know it. He's been threatening to quit the past four years and he has been annoying us about this. He's now stating that if he wins this year, he will quit. As we all know, when a person wins, you always need to defend your title. You can't just quit. Anyways, would it be wrong for me to kick him out after this year? We also do live draft party events and he thinks he'll come but he will not be invited. It's only for members in the league, thanks. - You should remind David of that when he threatens to quit. Like, he can't be a part of the league unless he's got a team in the league or he's sharing a team in the league. And so he better decide whether or not he wants to be part of this cool group and be there for the members only party before he goes and quits and says that he's not there. What's the mentality of always threatening to quit? Like, why do people do that? I don't get it. - A littering end. - I just wanna throw that out there. Yeah, I have no idea, Dave. - I don't know either. It's like if you're gonna quit, quit. You don't wanna be a part of something. The fantasy is always about fun. If you're not having fun, leave the league. Go join a different league. - From Aaron's chat. Threatening to quit shouldn't be meowed. Yeah, so there's a scene in Super Troopers where they pull over a guy for speeding, I think, and they have a bet of who can save me out the most. So they just, they save me out the whole time, so. - It looks like Dave's face is crooked, where the-- - Yeah, yeah, yeah, but it's the icing. - Bro, gamer Eric just made this reference. Throw him the pick me up grenade. Does that, do you get that day? I know Jamie won't get that. This is from, this is one of my favorite stupid ass references that I make to my friends all the time. Pick me up. Diabolical, isn't it? It's from Mom and Dad Save the World with the like grenade that says pick me up, and if you pick it up, you disappear into thin air, and everyone picks it up, 'cause they're also stupid. - You want some breaking news? - No, I want some. - Mom and Dad Save the World. - Mecca Buka, no practice today, he'll be ruled out. - Oh, wow. - Oh, wow. What does that do for Chris Godwin? - Let's go Chris Godwin. I'm seriously starting, gonna start him in like two or three of the leagues. - Okay, well, you might be okay. - No, Dad, that's not officially ruled out. Greg Alman, it does a great job covering the team. He will be ruled out, so. - Okay, they probably got that information from a reliable source, Greg's a good source. I think that's obviously up to the target value for her target opportunities for Godwin. - Okay, don't do that. - Ted Herses in play as a sleeper. - I think I might go back to liking the Falcons DST, better than the Bucks DST. - Okay. - All right, that's it for the fantasy gaps, all right. - We'll be back. - You go with me hitting the road. - I'm gonna hit the road. - Oh, what'd you say? - Michael Penis Jr. is a Tampa native. - Ooh. - Yes he is, that's true. - And the chiefs are trying to trade for. - In offensive lineman. - Brian Thomas Jr. - Ooh. - Wait, what? You'd say again? - The chiefs are trying to trade for Brian Thomas Jr. - Oh, interesting is right. People are gonna, I don't mind picking him up and stashing him, but don't you think it's gonna take him a little while to understand what they want him to do in that offense? - No, because I know with the-- - No, you're like Juan Thornton. Go run fast. - Exactly, exactly. They need a deep threat so badly in that offense. And I think it'd be a great trade for them. And he's still a talented guy, just can't hang out of the ball. And I'm not talking about Matthew Golden. We'll be back. Dave will not be. But Jamie and I will be back with your Apple Podcast questions and your Spotify questions after this. See ya, bye, Dave. Be right back. - There's the guy you are right now and there's the guy you know you could be. Hymns is here to help you close that gap and get there. There's another game on Monday Night that we should be excited about. - Oh, Keynes Gators? - Yeah. - It's funny, I didn't realize they were playing in my 12 year old, he gets in the car from baseball practice and he said, when is the Gators Keynes game? And I didn't realize they were playing. - Yeah, number one, UF, number, I think 14 Miami. Season opener and basketball. - No, we played our opener already. - You did? - We played Stetson. - Oh, you still number one, I assume? - I mean, we beat them, so. - Okay, good. And it's at six o'clock, so it goes right into the football game. - Should we make a bet? - No, I don't think I want to bet against the number one team of the country. - Why? - I wonder what we do, spread. - I'm gonna guess what, where is it? - It's a tamper or something, neutral-sake game. - Last time they played a tamper wasn't good for them. - They lost the. - Iowa, that was there, bad. - It's, Gators are minus five. - Damn, all right, let's go. All right, I'll make a bet. - Loser has to dress up for Halloween. - Next time you're in South Florida, loser pays for a charm city. - There's no losers in that scenario, so. - That's true. - Deal. - By the way, by the way, Tom is shaffer. Stick in the burger. - No. - Yeah. - Wow, oh, now I'm glad he's gone. - Okay. - But he got your favor to go. - But he got Cowboy style. - Oh yeah. - I gotta call him, you know, I didn't give a proper send-off. I gotta have a phone call with him. - Well, disappointed he's not watching today. - Okay, this is a fantasy cops one from Apple Podcast. How about that? - There we go. - Ten team non-PPR casual fantasy league trade issue. My spouse, three and four, and myself, four and three are trading. Kyle Pits and Ali Gordon, for AJ Brown and Blake Korum. The commissioner just called out to the league for a vote on the trade. Should I be offended for the sudden call out for a vote? It's a husband and wife. - If there's any questions about collusion, I mean, this trade's gonna seem a lot worse probably this weekend if Brown doesn't play. And Pits goes off, and Gordon continues to do what he does. Like, the Pits go inside to me is better. - Yeah, I think it's a fine trade, though. And this goes back to a couple of weeks ago when I was saying, like, just because they're husband and wife, it doesn't mean they're colluding. And Dan, you and Dan were both like, they share a bank account. - No, no, no, no, no, no. There was definitely a collusion with that trade. We were not reacting to them being husband and wife. We were reacting to them being in an awful trade, and then because they're husband and wife. - Yeah, whatever. It's okay. Here's one from Jordan. Second place of a ten. - Oh, life with five, just great, great, great post and chat. - What do you say? - No, Johnny Airport has been here. Oh, that's, do you think that's Thomas? - Yeah, he's been here today. He's the one who, I think he's the need to do the light grenade comment. Jordan says, I'm in second place, what's that? - That was Eric. - Oh, that was Eric. Sorry, they're the same guy. Second place of a 10 team PPR dynasty league. Hey. This is kind of a tough one here. I have Daniels golf and Kyler. I have Gibbs, Jeremiah Love, Chuba, Travian Henderson, JSN, Chase Jefferson, neighbors and burden, Higgby and Johan Johnson at tight end. I have my 2027 first and second. Is there a player or a pick package to send me even further over the top? It's like, yeah, you need a tight end. And oh, boy, I would probably trade like Lucer Birdon for like a-- I didn't catch all names. I'm sorry. I mean, it's incredible. When you have a loaded roster like that, you have the luxury of trying to make a trade. You know, so like, I give example, I'm in a dynasty league where I have, I just got really lucky. I hit on, I don't know if I hit on, but it feels like I hit on. My first three picks, including a trade in there. So this is a PPR Super Flex League. I got Concepcion in round one, stribbling in round two, trade away my round three pick for Jacobi Berset and got Caleb Douglas in round four. It feels like I did pretty well. Yeah. Yeah. You have to start five receivers in his league. I'm sitting in a good spot right now. I'm tied for first. Like, I'm going to dangle those rookie receivers around for help by me. Yeah, for sure. I mean-- So what I'm getting at is like, if you have the luxury of a very stacked roster and not that mine's a stack, this guy by any chance, you can take advantage of that to help you especially if you're okay willing up giving up-- if you're okay in giving up young assets. In this case, look, you have enough, I think, to win the league right now. So if you want to trade draft picks, you're trading way probably a late first round pick or obviously a late second round pick. Yeah, I know. I would probably trade like Justin Jefferson for Brock Bowers. Yeah. JSN, Chase, Jefferson, neighbors, and burden. So try Jefferson for Bowers and go from there. I'd like to-- Does it tie down now? What do you say? It's John Johnson and Higby. So yeah, get it tied in. Yep. All right. This is from J-Mac. I traded James Cook for Zay Flowers and Jordan Mason. Yeah. Not bad. Trade conversation is always so difficult because we don't know what the rest of the rosters look like. It's got a funny story. Yeah, Dave has a funny story he's going to tell. But first, let me read this. Okay, sorry. This is from Mikey, dear Pete Crowe and Armstrong. I like that. I traded Garrett Wilson for Sichuan Barclay in a 14-team half-PPR league. Grade the trade. D. I mean, I would like the trade if Barclay were healthy. Of course. From I likely losing two and five half-PPR, I need to win this week. I trade McCaffrey and Caleb Black for Bazel Tutan and Jeremiah Love. McCaffrey and Caleb Black for Bazel Tutan and Jeremiah Love. I'd rather have him McCaffrey said. I would, too, but you're two and five. So he needs to win this week. I think it's a fair deal in that regard. And it's a good job taking advantage of someone who has his amount of buy. All right. Dave, welcome back. Okay. So first of all, does everybody see this gob of icing on my microphone? Yes. Oh, but I have sunglasses on. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's like a cheeto hanging from the end of my microphone. Okay. What a mess I made. So I finished doing the stupid bit where I'm you when I've got this beard. When I ripped off the beard, like my hair was a mess and there's icing all over my shirt and icing all over my fingers and icing all over my face. And I couldn't wait to clean up. So I race out of my office. I go into the cafeteria. And who sees me like this? It's Sony Michelle, who is in our building to do stuff on HQ. And I'm like, uh, hey, what's up, Sony's like, Hey, how are what's going on? And so like had to explain to him why I had stupid orange icing all over my fat face and fingers and shirt and everything else. So that was kind of a exciting, embarrassing moment that I thought you guys would get a little bit of a kick out of. That's funny. What was going through his mind? And then once I cleaned up, I was like, Hey, you want to pop on and say hi to the gang on the mailbag? And he was like, no, so kind of he kind of didn't want to do whatever we were doing. It would have been pretty silly otherwise. So I thought you'd enjoy. Okay, bye. Okay, bye. All right, Apple podcast questions. I want to thank everybody, by the way, for leaving your comments on Apple podcasts, for leaving your comments. Um, I'd say, I'm sorry, we're on a Spotify now, for leaving your comments on Spotify. Appreciate that. This is from M Salinas. Who should I pick up from the Eagles running back room if Barclay doesn't play? I would still prioritize Elijah Mitchell over Jaden Blue. This is from Charlton. He says, I don't even remember. I think I sort of remember what this is in reference to Asheville is 100% not north of Raleigh and North Carolina is already a great state, not up and coming. I thought Dan was okay, but these are stupid comments. I can't wait to visit North Carolina. It's going to be so much fun. There's so much to do. There's such an upcoming state. It's a nice up and coming state. I have a lot of people that are there. I've driven through there a few times. I never had a really chance, really had a chance to sample it, but I've heard there's a great barbecue place. Yeah. That wasn't one like this. All right. This is from Mason. I traded Tutan and Garrett Wilson for ZSN or Zay Flowers as he calls to it in Wilson for flowers. I like that rather flowers. All right. Start Jared golf or Jaden Daniels this week. Jaden Daniels. Rogers or Darnal this week. Darnal. Fernando says I saw a team lose by point two last week and all he needed was Barclay to go back in and get three yards to win. You know, if you're going to lose because that stupid Jalen Corker Fumble. Yeah. Ridiculous. Which side are you taking in this trade? Chase Brown or sharp and Chase Brown and Charbonne or Jeremiah Love and Oli Gordon. Chase Brown, Charbonne. Do you think that Jeremiah Love could be a league winner down the stretch? It's so hard to anticipate that with just what everything that's going on right now. Like they can't run the ball. He's been hurt. I like that they gave him time to get back, get healthy. And before his injury, I don't really know when his injury kind of like really kicked in. But I think it was week three or week three. I mean, his injury happened in the preseason. Yeah. Right. Right. Okay. So then like week three or four, they give him a ton of work. Give him two thirds of the snaps. They give him the goal line work. I'm super excited. I think he's going to be amazed. Right. 49ers gave me a then they go back to this. He's not even playing half the snaps thing. I don't know if that was injury related. I think he probably was. If you explain, I think we're going to have we're going to have some interesting conversations next offseason, next training camp on injuries because between Jeremiah Love and Ashton Gentie, they clearly have not been what we expected. It's true. All right. From Neil, I need one for Superflex. Four point for passing touchdown and PPR. Stevenson, Rogers, Pickens and digs. PPR and it's four point. Superflex. Yeah. Any two? Need one, Rogers. Okay. I think I'm done with this costume. By the way, it's starting to really bother me. Thank you for your Apple podcast and Spotify questions. And now we'll finish with our buddies here on YouTube. Oh, I still want the Jeremiah Love sound bite. Man, I haven't played that one in a while. I'll look for it. Carl Tate, please. Start him or Antonio Williams. Tate, listen, I know I probably came across as I'm not excited about Antonio Williams. I think Dave's a little over excited about Antonio Williams. There's great opportunity here. We just haven't seen you yet. So roster him. I just don't know if I would start him. I'm obviously starting to be placed. There you go. Half PPR, one wide receiver, one flex, born Sutton, Caleb Douglas, Omari and Hampton. I go born and Douglas. What's Adam's costume? Is it the big boss man from WWF? No, it says super troopers. But that's are you wearing that tonight or tomorrow sugar train? No, I, my wife and I are going to be this Spartan cheerleaders from Saturday Night Live. Nice. Yeah. So what are the kids? My daughter is actually a cheerleader, sort of unrelated. And my son was one of those inflatable chickens. Like looks like he's a chicken jockey. Yeah. But it can't really walk around with it. So he wore it for trunk or treat last week. But then we just got him like a Cristiano Ronaldo, Jersey pants socks get up. Nice. How about you? Yeah. I don't know what my older two are going to do yet. And my younger one just went to school today as Aaron Judge. Oh, good call. How about you? You're going to keep the hot dog? This will probably be the only thing I wear if I wear it. But I'm saving the mustache to the show's over. I have to go get blood. And I'm not going in there looking like that. Oh, it's good. I have to coach baseball game tonight. And you know, Oh, I'm going to vote after this. Should I keep the costume on? You're 100%. - And put the mustache back. - The mustache is done. It's like folded up in a ball right now. I guess I can try, that is really, I don't know if I have the guts to do that, 'cause I don't have to go to the eye doctor after. I don't know. - Oh please do it. - No, I don't think so. - You just went to Times Square dressed as Harry Potter. - That's true. I do look like team-u-office or do-e or do-fe that is good. - When you do these things in Times Square, is there a camera following you? - I like a guy with a phone. Not like a- - Gotcha. - Yeah. Otherwise, yeah, it would be obvious that it's kind of fake. Birdon or AJ Brown? - I mean, that could be something like across the street with a camera. - No, no, it's just a guy from the staff. Birdon or AJ Brown, half PPR. - There's a rumor circulating by somebody that's not very, I shouldn't say, that is not, I don't know to be a valid source, that AJ Brown is out for multiple weeks. - Great. - Not a patriot to be right. I should say. - All right. Michael Wilson, birdon is the answer. Michael Wilson, Lad Maconkey. Quinchon, Judkins, or DJ Moore, pick two? - Wilson and Morafy plays Maconkey if he doesn't. - Sit one. - No, I'm sorry. Wilson and Judkins, unless more plays. - And then who? If more plays than who would you go with? - It would be Wilson and Moraf. If Morafy is out, it would be Wilson and Judkins. - Okay. - Sit one in PPR, Casey Concepcion, Quinchon, Judkins, Giovanni, you said Gio Bernard here. It's Jeremy Bernard, not Gio. So you threw me off, LZO. - I would sit, Concepcion. - Beat the waiver wire for week nine. Texans DST against the Chargers, or Niners DST against the Raiders. - Texans. - Tate or Jordan Mason, half PPR. Mason if Jones is out, Tate if Jones is out. - Is Jamie a Boer's head, how do you pronounce that? Subwret? I never did this hot dog drink. - I think it's Cold Rock, Subwret, Subwret, Subwret. - Yeah, Subwret, Sabre. Ballpark, Oscar Meyer, or Public's Hot Dog guy. - Ballpark. - I love Ballpark. But I'm gonna tell you what my favorite hot dog is. It might surprise you all. It has nothing to do with health, nothing. It's the Oscar Meyer turkey dogs. I genuinely think they are the most delicious. I love them. By the way, Traylon Burke's practicing for the commanders. Is that gonna change anything for you? - No, I think Williams is still a good start throw number three receiver, and Burke says somebody to keep an eye on in deeper leaks. Please order to pick up for the rest of the season. Ooh, order to pick up. I might do that for dinner tonight. Casey Concepcion, Jeremy Bernard, Jordan Tyson, Antonio Williams for the rest of the season. - Bernard Concepcion Tyson Williams. - And I would say if you don't plan on starting any of them, then maybe just Jordan Tyson. - Yep. - Would you trade Jordan Mason for Colson Loveland? I have Kyron Gibbs and Mike Washington. I have Andrews and Mayor. - Yes. - Okay. I pulled up your grade to the trade, but I didn't answer your question. Oh no. Who was in it? I'll try to search for it, I'm sorry. I'm not Dewey from Scary Movie. I'm Super Troopers. Dacker Trevor Lawrence. - I go Lawrence. Lane Samson or Parkinson? - Lane Samson or Parkinson. I would go Parkinson if you please. - Jeremy I love Ashton Gentee. Justin Jefferson, Cam Scataboo, picked two rest of season. - Rest of season would be Jefferson and Gentee. - I have Garrett Wilson and Jonathan Taylor. Who can I try to get in a package deal? Taylor's my RB2, Garrett Wilson's my wide receiver three. I think you still get value for Taylor right now, but you got to trade it like now to maximize it. - I think that I would only trade Jonathan Taylor and Garrett Wilson in a two for one for five or six best players in fantasy. Because I think Jonathan Taylor might be one of the five or six best players in fantasy. So I'm not sure I would be making this trade. - Do you feel that way if he's still in Indianapolis? - Yeah. - Five or six best players? - Yeah, I mean, what's he been so far? He just faced the Vikings and had like a big game against them. - But now you're taking away Nelson, he had Nelson in that game. They're going to be chasing points most weeks, especially with Buckner now gone. - I mean, he's RB, if we count Josh Jacobs, he's RB6 per game. - Listen, I'm not disagreeing with you that he's still going to be very good, but five or six best players, like that's a stretch to me. - Yeah, I mean, I guess I wouldn't draft him fifth or sixth, but it wouldn't shock me because he's Jonathan Taylor. It wouldn't shock me if he is that good. - I would try and trade these two guys for, if somebody's very running back needy, right? So Zayflowers, CDLAM, like yeah, you've got to get one of the best of the best. - Okay. - You're getting really two really good players. - Yeah. I'd read one more here. Let's see, looking for a good one. Oh, here we go. Great, the trade, trade Tucker for Michael Wilson. - Trade Tucker for Michael Wilson, I think I might rather have Tucker rest of season. - I would, it's just that schedule for Arizona's awful. - Yeah. - By the way, Sam says in the private chat, Oscar, my turkey dog is the most out-of-mancer ever. - No, it really isn't though, like that's the thing. Like I like, you know, I like, there's- - But you're just going against conventional thought. - But there's no way you like that better than a regular hot dog. - I swear to you, every time we buy hot dogs, it's the one I buy. Every time, what's your favorite hot dog? - I don't know, probably ballpark. - No, ballpark's great. Maybe ballpark's better, I never buy them. But. - See, Adam, I mean, Sam, that you're right in what you said that is the most out-of-mancer ever because he's going to go different from what everybody else would say. But Adam would definitely purchase those for himself and his family before any other hot dog. - Why? - 'Cause you like it, I'm not saying you're wrong, right? - No, okay, if it were a typical Adam answer, it would be like, hot dogs suck. I don't like them, except for Oscar-Mire turkey dogs. That's not how I feel, I love hot dogs. - No, a typical Adam answer would be, I like the turkey dogs, but when I go to a barbecue, I'm going to bring the turkey dogs because I want everybody to like what I like. (laughing) - This has been a rough day for me, man. Wow, I'm seeing myself in a different light now. - Will you start your future self? - Yeah, well, yeah. - And you got a lot taller. - I did, yeah, and apparently I see Sony Michelle every day in the future. All right, we will-- - We have a lot of athletes that are football players that walk around our office. So like Raheem Mosters there, now a lot. Rand Carthons there, a lot. Damien Williams there, a lot. Sony Michelle's there, a lot. Jordan players there, a lot. Now, Toronto Arm studs there a lot now. - Cool. - I love it. - Yeah. - If we had a, if we ever had like a flag football game against any other, maybe ESPN is probably better, but any other like media organization, I think we'd have a pretty good chance. (laughing) - Yeah, it feels like the episode of The Simpsons where like you used to be on the team, and Dave used to be on the team, and now it's like, oh, excuse me. - Oh, I'll happily coach. - Yeah, sorry, Sony Michelle is here to play around. - Yeah. - Adam, okay, life with five says, Adam's kids have never tasted a regular hot dog because of me. No, listen man, they like the turkey dog better also. It's so good. I'm telling you, also boil your hot dogs in beer, seven cups of water, one, no, no. I think it's like a 16 ounce can of beer or something like that, and you do like one of those, and you do seven of that measurement of water. You boil it, it's just like a, just one eighth of beer. You boil that, put the hot dogs in for like two minutes, and you got yourself great hot dogs. - We'll talk to you, have a great weekend everybody. We'll talk to you Sunday morning, 11 a.m., you stir and see ya. (upbeat music) - Paramount podcasts. The core short from Viori is one pair I keep reaching for.
