Week 8 Fantasy Football Lineup Advice & Must-Start Players | Fantasy Focus

This week’s fantasy football preview highlights several key injury updates, player returns, and matchup dynamics. Multiple players—including Jeremiah Love, Tyler Warren, and Devon Smith—have returned from injury or limited practice, signaling improved roster depth. The Panthers are a high-value matchup for running backs like Josh Jacobs, who has faced a weak run defense and is projected as a top-12 RB. The Packers’ offensive balance may shift toward the run, creating potential upside for Jacobs, though his role remains uncertain. The Titans vs. Bengals game presents a tough challenge for DJ Turner, who will face heavy coverage, while Tony Pollard’s explosive performance last week makes him a strong flex option despite not being a lineup lock. In the Vikings vs. Lions game, Aaron Jones’ injury raises concerns about Jordan Mason’s role, though his receiving upside is limited. TJ Hawkinson is a standout tight end target against the Lions, who have allowed numerous touchdowns to tight ends. The Colts vs. Jaguars game offers a favorable run defense matchup for Jonathan Taylor, but team transition and offensive line issues add risk. Finally, the Titans’ trade of Jeffrey Simmons to the Bears for two first-round picks and a fourth-round pick is a major development, shifting fantasy strategies in the NFC and impacting matchups involving defensive line and wide receiver matchups. Overall, the week offers a mix of high-risk, high-reward opportunities, especially in the divisional matchups with balanced, injury-prone rosters.

What's up friends welcome into fantasy focus football alongside my clay and feel Jates. My name is Daniel Dopp very excited to be here on a Thursday diving into everything that's going to be week eight little Thursday night football preview little Thursday night week eight preview part one we're going to talk about some news some injury updates most importantly I kind of feel like Goldilocks in the three bears right now. Oh, why is that? Because I think that Mike when we came dressed today we didn't do this on purpose but you're dressed too cold and I'm dressed too warm and field is dressed just right in between the three of us you know I'm going to be 67 degrees and sunny here today. So Mike is projecting. It's exactly what I did. I almost it's borderline sweater weather. So I thought about this. I'm sorry sweater weather sweater weather. So I grabbed one today and I was like, you know what? No check the weather first. I have 67 is like no way not doing it short sleeves. I'm going to I'm going to latch on as long as I can. No way know how I love that. Well, we're going to latch on to some football here and just a little bit shout out to our friends over at trophy smack use the promo code trophy week eight at trophy smack.com get 10% off your order over there. Grab yourself a belt or a chain or a trophy grab something fun for you league. It's always right or a sweater. I wonder if they have sweaters at trophy smack.com. They probably do. We shouldn't they don't they will now they will now sweat about a beautiful big factory. I saw the other day was why the girls love watching um Shark Tank and sometimes they go back and show like successful stories. Yeah. Our boys from trophy smack run there and they're gigantic factory there where they pump out all this awesome stuff. It's amazing. So they've grown a hell of a business. Is that the your girls though choose that they're not like, Hey, we want to watch cartoons and you're like, No, watch Shark Tank and learn how to be an entrepreneur. You got to start making money for the family. That's the watch starts tankin like it. No, they love it. They love that show and I understand it. It's great. Let's dive into a little bit of practice reports, guys. Little updates just on what we've had so far across the league to let everyone know where we're at here in week eight. That's too many names. Couple of DMPs. Yeah, there's a lot of them. Not going to mention every single one. It's a good reason to watch the YouTube stream though. Couple of DMPs to keep in mind. I'm on Ross St Brown seems like he's going to be all right. We saw Jumir Gibbs pop up on that list as well, hoping that's just maintenance, given how much volume he's gotten. Devon to Smith missed week seven and also did not practice this week. That's definitely a big one to keep an eye on. Same with Sequon Barkley. I said, the ones that didn't practice yesterday that really have my attention as we think about what it means going forward is Devon. They Smith and Sequon Barkley for the Eagles. Yeah. Jumir Gibbs just by nature, but it sounds like Jumir. I'm sorry. Jumar chase just by nature, but like Jumir Gibbs sounds like he's going to be just fine, but Tyler Algier and Jalen Waddle, because if Algier is out and Jeremiah love plays, this could be the opportunity that we have been waiting for for Jeremiah love to break it. Yeah. I hope so it's good to see a lot of guys that have been out for a few weeks on the limited list here at Buka. Jeremiah love and Tyler Warren have been out two weeks. They could be back or she rice looks like he may be back. Breeze Hall. So we might get a lot of guys back that have been out for at least two weeks, which is really good. It's a good sign. Good to move in the right direction. And you're right. Dan Campbell had said before Wednesday that he was going to give some guys a rest. Yeah. So no surprise to see superstars like Amonra and Gibbs resting. By the way, yesterday, right when it first dropped that they were practicing, naturally, you think, okay, who would be next up? Should he miss time? And I was like, all right, should I grab some Cione Vocky? And I was like, to play Minnesota. Even if Gibbs just rolled out, I'm not sure I'd want to start him. And it'd be multiple guys, obviously. And they throw the ball playing it like just I don't think I would touch it. I have a question for you guys. Do you think that Jamir Gibbs would be on Pat McAfee show yesterday doing interview like nothing is a miss if he was not going to play on Sunday? I don't think so. I have zero degree on that. So I am not concerned at all. Go check out that interview with Pat if you haven't already between he and Jamir Gibbs. I'd like to see Ameka Buka back here. He was limited in practice. That would be a big jump for the Bucks. We'll dive into a handful more of these tomorrow as well when we get some more updates. But let's do our first game preview Thursday night football, my friends, Panthers and Packers, a couple of line of blocks in this one. Oh, there's actually seven line of blocks in this one. That's exciting. Yeah, Chuba Hubbard, Ted O'Mill and Jalen Koch are all for the Panthers for the pack. You got Josh Jacobs, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft, Matthew Golden questionable to play. Speaking of Golden, we got an update here from James Palmer listed as questionable for tonight's game with a shoulder and foot injury. It's some good optimism feeling that he is going to go expecting to play. But we will see how this one goes going into the game. Make sure that you keep an eye on it just in case you have any setbacks heading into game time. You'd hate to get a zero because you just didn't notice. Yeah, this one, yeah, it always makes you nervous to win a guy plays in this situation when their question will it. They'll be a setback early on. But Golden's been too good to bench. Yes. He's active. I'm starting to agree on that. Let's talk about Josh Jacobs, but first shout out to the Milwaukee Brewers is a baby in their first world series in franchise history last night decisive for one win in a decisive for one series win as well. So it should be a buzzing atmosphere at Lambo field tonight. It always is, but even more juice in the building. And let's talk about Josh Jacobs, guys, who of course made his season debut last week. He played 35 snaps on the nose. I'm expecting Josh Jacobs to play even more this week, even with a short week, because this Packers team plays in a division where every game matters right now have to be full-tilt full throttle to stay on pace in this NFC north. And it's a great match up here for Josh Jacobs. Man alive is at a great match. Great match up. The Panthers have allowed the second most fantasy points to opposing running back so far this season. Four separate running backs have reached at least 15 fantasy points. And the Panthers have played six games so far. Two out of three times are allowing a running back to reach 15. And yeah, they faced some great players. They've also allowed the likes of Damien Pierce to get to 15 or more fantasy points. The Panthers are dead last in rushing yards allowed per game this season. The Cowboys were able to jump ahead of them, if you will, in that category after they largely contained the Eagles because Saquon was banged up this past Monday night. So the Panthers a tasty match up here for Josh Jacobs. I have him as RB 12, just one spot ahead of each of you guys wouldn't surprise me for as long as Josh Jacobs is still on the field. If he hangs around the RB 7 to 12 range. Yeah. Good call. I'm curious to see if his role expands a little this week on the short week. But you would expect second game back that it will a bit. I'm also fascinated to see if the Packers balance out the offense because they've been very pass heavy. But that is not something they've done in the past. But now they couldn't run the ball. Obviously, if Jacob starts running the ball a little better, which he didn't necessarily do last week. So you wonder if this is an offensive line thing, a schematic thing, if it's a personal thing, amongst the worst. Yeah. No doubt. So if that doesn't go, if that doesn't fix itself and Jacobs is just averaging 3.3 yards per carry, maybe they just keep throwing the ball, which not ideal, but he might be busier in the passing game than he's been in the past as well. So something to keep an eye on. He'll hang around though, for sure. Yeah. Yeah. He was very busy that first week back. We'll continue to be. All right. I want to talk about the wide receivers, guys. They were all four of these line of blocks were actually not good last week, okay, especially the Panthers. Panthers were all very bad, not completely throwing out that performance. But I also am not just giving them a pass to hear a line of Panthers because their strength and schedule does get much harder down the stretch. We know that it's going to be different. Jalen Coker has four games with eight or more targets this year. I can't not start Jalen Coker based in the volume that he is getting. Tederall McMillan has three games with nine plus targets. Teder seabirds against the Packers. You've had seven of them hit at least 16 fantasy points so far this year. I know last week was a really big down week, but I'm still in on the Panthers, even though we have a harder schedule. I wouldn't mind if they had a nice game here so that I can maybe try and reinvest in that thinking about selling market before the schedule gets tougher down the stretch, but you got to have a good game or two before you can really do that on the other side really quickly. Christian Watson eight plus targets and six of his seven games. He has three top six weeks to all the two of his other weeks. He was still inside the top 25, both him and Matthew Golden who like we talked about earlier had back to back D and P's, but then practice yesterday. Very excited about them. We talk about the Panthers secondary not being good. Panthers secondary have only allowed four wide receivers to hit 15 or more fantasy points so far this year. It's surprising that that number as low as it has been, but all four of these guys are in that wide receiver six to seven to wide receiver 25 range. All four of our must starts tonight. And there's paper thin on defense, though, with more malt, more injuries impacting them for this week, a short week. And what I would say is that I think all four of these players are in the territory where one bad game is not going to change how we're feeling that you are starting them one way or another. The Panthers, we are counting on you tonight. And when I say we, I mean, the NFC South, because if the Panthers lose tonight, we will enter Sunday of week eight with every NFC South team having a losing record. Wow. No pressure, Carolina. Wow, pressure. I honestly, I do have a little bit of concern about the Panthers wide receivers. And is this going to be something like we saw it? Not it's, I know it's a different situation, but like a mecha obuco where you came out hot and then like kind of trailed off and then you couldn't do anything with them or Quentin Johnston last year for the chargers. Like did they come out too hot? And then we were like, well, we can't get rid of these guys. And now our cell window might have passed. That could be the case. I'm worried. That could be the case of the Green Bayes as well. But I feel more confident in Jordan love to carry exactly as often as young. I think a lot of that will come down to if they do balance out the offense or not. But with Carolina, it comes down to bright shung. I mean, he started off really well. It looks like he took a step forward, but he's still only completing 59% of his passes. is he's coming off a dud, like, is he going back the other direction? Is he in above average, a blow average starter? Is he average? Like, what is he the future of this organization? Like, we don't know yet. He has to do it consistently. He can't be one month of great play. And then you disappear. So a little bit of cautious optimism, but coming off what happened last week, I'm not so sure. So I, that's another thing to watch in this situation because we just watched Michael Pentax go into Green Bay and they crushed the Packers and he looked really good. I mean, let's see if Bryce Young can bounce back. But was last week a sign of things to come or just a little bump in the road and now they get back on track. Well, one of us is going to put our faith in Bryce Young. Well, the rest of you Yahoo's are just taking the easy route. I'm taking the Panthers in this one. There we go. I am going with the Packers. I think I'll produce it. I'm taking the Packers as well. Yeah, of course, at home. All right. Oh, of course, at home, of course. Yeah, obviously. All right. Let's dive in. Next one, Titans and Bengals here, guys. A couple of line up locks in this one. Carnel take the only one on that side for the Tennessee Titans. As we saw, he did not practice yesterday. We'll continue to monitor it. But Robert Sala pretty transparent on the injury front didn't make it seem like it was significant for the Bengals. Joe Burrow, Chase Brown, you're starting on even though you don't want to. Jamar Chase and T Higgins as well. Are we going to get the DJ Turner shadow again this week or are? Is that my that's my. Yes, talk about that. Let's talk about DJ Turner. He did this every week, just a segment on what they're going to do with DJ Turner because the guy is so good. Look, so last week, obviously we talked about say flowers against DJ Turner. He ended up not covering them very often when he did it was 10 matchups and he had one catch for six yards on one target. So what Baltimore did well was moves a flowers around and he ended up having a pretty darn good fantasy day. He's the only wide receiver that's cleared 15 fantasy points against the Bengals so far this season. But here's the thing. Colonel Tate not utilize the same as a flowers. He's on the perimeter 72% of the time. So three out of every four or four routes. Basically, he's going to see DJ Turner on all of those routes in this game. So this is a tough assignment. Remember last year, DJ Turner, the 14 receivers he shadowed average 8.8 fantasy points per game. He's done a good job against a mecca Buka and DK Mecca for who were held right around 11 or 12 fantasy points in their games this season that not not against Turner. That's in the whole game. And then of course Parker Washington had the dud against him as well. So just a reminder, it's going to be a really tough matchup. He's not fully healthy at this point. I would consider him. I put him in line up locks. I think he's good enough to play, but definitely a downgrade this week. I would feel remiss as a fantasy manager that had a running back that scored over 30 fantasy points last week. If I didn't ask you why is Tony Pollard not a lineup lock after that huge game because he had, I believe the number is 38 fantasy points last week. And his first six game is combined. He had a total of 52 fantasy points. That right. It was that in bad. Yeah. Yeah. So it was, yeah, it was. I knew it was bad. So that's the reason why he's on the, he's on the, uh, let's wait. I have him RB 18 or something this week. So he's very much in that conversation. But I think you're general. He wasn't drafted as a starter. So I don't necessarily think he's moved up in a way where he's locked in as a, as a starter. I think he's one of the more intriguing names over the next 12 days. Today's Thursday. Yeah. I was surprised. You'd mentioned the, uh, the trade article on our site with Matt Bowen and Jeremy Fowler and the odds of him being trading were kind of low. 15% is what. Yeah. That was one. That was maybe the lowest on the list. So I was a little surprised by I thought it'd be higher. Yeah. Agreed there. Uh, Tony Pollard, who last, remember, last year when he got piping hot for like two or three games down the stretch, so he definitely still has good football left in him. If I'm 10 to see it one in five, I'm saying to myself, is it really one of five one and six, whatever they are? Is it really that valuable to keep Tony Pollard at? This is a second contract. I think he was a franchise tag player back in the day. This is the end of his eighth season in the NFL. Is he really a part of the future for a team that is one in six? I get it. They have no depth behind him and they got to finish out the rest of the season. But if I'm a team that's trying to boost my backfield and there are several of those around the NFL, I know Jonathan Taylor is the crown jewel. If he becomes available from Indianapolis, but I finally get Tony Pollard for probably a fraction of the Jonathan Taylor cost. I think that's a reasonable piece of business by a team. You name it. Seattle, Denver, Indianapolis, whoever it might be that you think could use an extra running back to boost their backfield. Yeah. By the way, Dallas just like pumping out running backs without investing much. And at the last few years, since the Zeke era, when we were like, stop doing this, stop. Yes. Tony Pollard was obviously he broke out there. Goes on as a successful starter for the Titans. Rico Doudel had a terrific season there. Goes on as a great year in Carolina as well. And now they're getting the most set of Javonte Williams as well. So it shows you what a good a solid offensive line and a good good right, you know, getting the most out of your running back. I'll do just a commitment to that position. So for us here in fantasy, pretty chalky game to be honest with the guys that you're going to be using. Yes. Yeah. I'm going to take the Bengals in the year. And I think all of us crossed the board. I'm going to take the Bengals. Yeah, I was hoping they could string together back to back wins last week, but they didn't quite finish the job against Cleveland. Not quite. It all felt like it fell apart when they had, I think it was first and goal from the one. It looked like Tony Pollard scored to put them up 21 nothing. He was rolled short. And then they wound up not scoring in the brown today 99 yard drive to cut the deficit on board team Monkin's team just grind and out gritty waiting. Monkin. That's right. Speaking of gritty, let's talk about Vikings and the lions guys. Is that like a Justin Jefferson gritty or is that a Dan Campbell is a gritty individual? When it plays both ways, you just take it. You know what I'm saying, baby. Line of blocks here for the Vikings. We got Justin Jefferson only one on that list. We'll talk about the running backs here in a second. For the lions, we got Jameer Gibbs. Aman Ross St. Brown and Sam LaPorta. That's interesting. Chad Goff is QB two on the season guys. Where is he? Where is he? Where is he? Why is he not on this list? Guys tell us tell us more interesting. I feel like he should be on here, but obviously we understand how bad it has been. Well, no, I'd like to be able to have him play. We talked about him yesterday in the rankings conversation a little bit though. Obviously, there's a big concern with this defense. I actually would rather talk about the Vikings running backs. Aaron Jones did not practice on Wednesday with the knee injury. We're going to keep an eye on that. Obviously, we'll update you guys tomorrow with everything that happens from the Thursday practice report. If there is no Aaron Jones, we expect Jordan Mason to be the guy who just came back. Jordan Mason last week, 15 carries zero targets in the passing game. I would assume that somebody is going to get some targets if there is no Aaron Jones. But I don't expect Jordan Mason just to take on all of that receiving game work. That's just not what he does in this offense. Lions have only allowed two running backs to top eight and a half fantasy points last week. Josh Jacobs was one of them. The other one was Travis H and in week one. Other than that, no running back has hit eight and a half fantasy points. So it's going to be a very tough week if they are both there, especially if they're both in the backfield and you got a committee. There's a reason why they're both outside our top 25. If there's no Aaron Jones, I think Jordan Mason could fall into that flex radar just because of volume conversation, but it's still not going to feel super exciting to play him this week against the Lions rush defense. Yeah. I agree, especially with this lack of receiving. Yeah. He makes Derek Henry look high volume in the back. Yes. Exactly. One of the things he's never benefactor. Yeah. And anything else we want to talk about in this game? Yeah. I'll mention TJ Hawkinson because I'm kind of fascinated to see if he can survive as a mid range tight end one going forward as long as Kyler Murray is the quarterback of this offense. You look at his last two full games with Kyler. Week seven, four for 35 and a touchdown on five targets. Week four got all 13 of his targets for 119 yards. And that was against Miami. No Justin Jefferson in that game. But even if we exclude that week four game, just not even paradigm, just totally ignore it from the equation. He still say 20% target share this season and as 13 and a plus fantasy points in two different games. And this week specifically, you're going up against the Lions who cannot stop tight ends as we know, the most targets catches your touchdowns with 10. They will have 10 touchdowns already. They've got a weakness for tight ends. So many teams won't allow that the whole season. They've already allowed 10 tight end touchdowns. So the most targets catches yards touchdowns and of course fantasy points to the tight end position. He's a great at least streamer this week. And frankly, with how much Kyler seems to like tight ends to be a starter going forward. Yeah. This team is booty cheeks against that position. Well said. Are you for only to be in from field? No. Oh no. I got a call sent out here, though. Oh, because chat's been saying something and I would like to kind of break down the clay. I model just a little bit. No, no. How do we have TJ Hawkinson as tight end three, tight end four, tight end five within 11 points? You should probably be in line of blocks this week. Okay. Yeah. You should. I don't know. Maybe I just just blame the computer. I'll blame the computer. All right. All right. I manually type them in sometimes Sunday night, if not Monday morning. And I probably was thinking borderline and then not thinking about the matchup. And then by the time you probably should have put him in there. Okay. All right. I'll take the L. He should be locked in this week. So we're going to have to banish Mike for the rest of the show. Sorry. Hey, I apologize. Game. I expect a hundred percent hit rate. Huge on my opinions of line up blocks. Huge game. Vikings are six and oh, if they win this one, I mean, who do you think was NFC North just starting now? Just just in general. Yeah. You're looking at the rest season. You got I would still go in the bears. Oh, the bears. I'm sticking with the lion. So that's my preseason pick. The schedule is light. I'm sick of it. The lions. I would stick with the lions too because of the schedule. But if they lose this one at the conversation, it's going to be a huge game. What do they're not saying? It'd be interesting if this is a competitive game and the Vikings often like Kyler throws for 280 and two touchdowns and runs for 40 touchdown Jeffries. It's a huge game. I don't do that to you. Don't do this. What'd be interesting though? After like we're paid. It would be interesting. You're right. I don't know, it's like, no, we just haven't had to do anything. Now we do. And all three of us are taking the Lions. Producers are taking the Vikings. What a, what a, all taking six and no team. I don't know what metrics you have for that one. Let's go with the next one, guys. Colts and Jaguars line up blocks in this game. Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Warren, who is questionable coming into this one. We'll keep an eye on that for Jacksonville on the other side. We got Trevor Lawrence. You got Parker Washington. Yeah, Basel 210, which field talked about a little bit yesterday. Mike, do you want to talk about Basel to just a little more coming off of that? That's you. Yes, that is me. Okay. I guess I'll talk about Basel toon. Okay. Okay. Sounds like a plan. Good that football so far. He's been super effective. Yeah. Look, I think that he has found his way into line up lock territory. I was nervous about him a few weeks ago, because he just wasn't involved as a pass catcher, pass catcher very much. And was losing Goliens opportunities. Chris Rodriguez, what we saw in the most recent game for toon is they kind of evened out that workload. It was still toon had the edge, but it was a little closer. You might see Rodriguez deal some Goliens opportunities. But toon's role in the passing game was much larger. I believe it was 25 routes he ran in that game. So as long as that continues, we can deal with the 60 40 carry split. As long as he gets the occasional goal line work and is busy in the passing game and could catch there for football. So I feel good about him. He's he's he's trending up. He looks like a good player line up lock right now. Good match up to against the Colts. It's actually going to go on the board as one of our punishments. If Basial tooton gets in the end zone, one of us has to be torquing for tooton as the punishment for a working issue. Have you ever done, have you ever, you've never tried it? Torquing for tooton. I'm not familiar with what that means. I know what torquing is. It's terrible. Do you know who Basial tooton is? I do. Yes. Then when he scores a touchdown, what do you do? I guess twerk. Yeah. Feel like it's that easy, guys. Okay. All right. Well, you know what they're not all winners, guys. You just make that up or is that a thing? Well, Tyler made up some things. He said they're rooting tooton high. Yeah. The tooton high. I think torquing for tooton feels better than the tooton high. There's a little relation there. All right. Whatever we're going to move on, guys, it didn't work. What about Jonathan Taylor? Is he going to work this week field? Uh, here's the deal is with Jonathan Taylor. We kind of had this conversation last week when they faced off against Minnesota. Like just be a little bit mindful of how tough the matchup is. He's Jonathan Taylor. He had 90 plus rushing yards in a touchdown. Not telling you to bench, Jonathan Taylor. I just want to present the uphill challenge. The Taylor faces this week that if you end up with 11.5 fantasy points on Sunday, you're, you're mentally ready. I mean, we have to be ready for that one. Yeah. No doubt. Here's why. Where's he play or who does he play? I guess where and who Jacksonville, their point in Jacksonville this weekend. Actually, Jacksonville. Yes, actually in Jacksonville this weekend. And in two games last year against the Jaguar, Jonathan Taylor had a total, a total of 145 rushing yards, 74 and 71 in those two games against the Jaguar. Because since the beginning of last season, it's the best run defense in the NFL. Number one rushed defense so far. This season on a yards per game basis and for Jonathan Taylor on top of his struggles against them last year, he now no longer has Quintan Nelson. No more Quintan Nelson for Jonathan Taylor. He's their best offensive lineman, not that one offensive lineman, totally dictates Jonathan Taylor's success or lack thereof, but the offensive line got worse. The Colts also might just be tapped out. The Colts just might be tapped out. They're great away all their players. I just think it's hard as a competitor to be like, all right, guys, win one for the Gipper when Quintan Nelson and DeForest Buckner have been traded. Josh Downs has requested a train. We'll see what happens with Jonathan Taylor, but good. Lord, this Colts team is in a period of transition. And the biggest underdog of the week is not the Colts. That's a Titans at 10 and a half points. However, the Colts are tied for the second biggest underdog of the week. Seven point five point underdogs and as a result of that, Jonathan Taylor lower in our rankings than normal, at least the Colts. So can get that early first round pick, though, right? They can not, they can not, but you know, they can't because they owe it to the Jets. Yes. However, good, good, good, a couple days for the good, how do I say this? Good turn of events for the Jets recently, but the Colts fading. That's huge for them. They might get first pick of the draft. I mean, they really is there a thought on what a package would, what you'd have to give? Jonathan Taylor, I think it's like either here's the, here's the problem. And we have another NFL football in real football. We have another NFL trade right now that I want to bring up just because it's cool trade. It's not fantasy relevant in a minute, but Jonathan Taylor, I want to hear it. Jonathan Taylor, here's the deal is, I don't think you can get a one for Jonathan Taylor right now. No, but if you're trading Jonathan Taylor, Jonathan Taylor, it's not going to go to the Titans, right? Like the Titans don't need Jonathan Taylor, right? It's a team like Seattle, or Denver, sorry, Seattle, Denver, you know, a team that believes or already is at the top of the heap, right? And that pick in the second round, like is Jonathan Taylor worth trading for pick 57? What it could be probably not, right? Probably not and I'm with Mike. Like I do think it's a little illogical for the Colts to just hang on to Jonathan Taylor on principle because of a 28 year old really sort of the bridge between the purgatory, the culture in right now. And what the next good version of the Colts will look like, my contention is no, but I do think that this like holding on to Jonathan Taylor through the trade deadline, you might be able to get a different package this off season, powders dry, teams have a little bit more flexibility. They don't view you as quite as desperate as you are viewed right now. So I don't think Jonathan Taylor is a lock to be traded. I think it's possible, but not a lock. Yeah, I agree. The player who has been traded, though, is Jeffrey Simmons. Oh, no way. Can you see Titans have traded Jeffrey Simmons. They're all world defensive tackle. Holy cow, that's a huge one to the bears. Two Trump picks and a force in a fourth round. Oh, wait a minute. How much the competitors gave up two firsts and a four and first and a four? No, they didn't. Wow. What a haul. All right, first of all, I want to say, I don't blame, he's 29 years old. I don't not blame the Titans for this move. No, definitely 87% of their defensive synapses. This guy is an absolute underrated, still underrated as great as a superstar. It's possible to both. That is a haul. The first two all pro and underrated guys. Yeah, I don't. Yeah. I love it. I love it. That's how do you not love this? I can tell you how if you're a lion, but I do love them not having future draft assets with, you know, getting a 29 year old defensive tackle. But still, I mean, Jeffrey Simmons is a dog. I don't want to play against him. And Chicago just has not been able to solve the, especially the interior of the defensive line, but the whole defensive line, Montess wet, obviously, was a big addition. But this is huge because they cannot solve defensive tackle now. This solves it quickly. Does this feel like it was now, like Tony Pollard is the clear and obvious second chip. If they've already moved, Jeffrey Simmons. I have to imagine the odds of his going now. Yes. It's now jumped up. Yeah. Do it also. Yeah. There's a market. Yeah. I just, again, this is not fantasy relevant. But we love trade. Well, how many times does Jamir Gibbs face the bears, the rest of the, have they played yet? We have not played yet. Bears and lions. So he has to face Jeffrey Simmons twice now. So we don't like that. Yeah. Don't love that. Fun. This is spicy. Yeah. That's a great. That's a. It's like a big try to sauce gardener last year. I mean, very similar trade too. So huge. Interesting. Interesting. By the bears. My pick. The rebuild is on. Wait. Are you changing your pick for the division now? Not quite. Okay. Okay. Okay. Or the, is lion's defense gets healthier that should keep them. Let's dive into the mail back. We'll see. Let's do it. What has got vision? What a division. I know. Right. I wish we were in the NFC South. A couple of things here from the mail back. Shout out to our buddy Eric Moody. Follow him on social at Eric and Moody. This one comes from Eli. What Mike? Respect Mike's humility. Love that. What am I? What was I? What were you? What were you not? What was I? What was I? What was I? What was I? What was I? What was I? That's what it was. Yeah. Oh wow. Samuel. Why does the guy on the left look like TJ Hawkins and only a little bit. You must be new to the show. I got to put my hair down to really do it right. We've made options. All right. A couple of real questions here. Gerald Martin wants to know, do I trade Chuba Hubbard knowing it's the rest of the season. Schedule is bad. Michael, I brought this up a little earlier around the panthers. Yeah. Schedule man. I don't want to. I don't think so. Yeah. What for? Right. Yeah. Exactly. Running back who's been a little worse than Chuba, but you think the forecast of the rest of the season is good enough that you're like, all right, hey, I'm just, just throwing a name out here. Um, Chuba Hubbard goes and you acquire the address. Yes. Swift. Yeah. I think like a fascinating one would be like Jeremiah love. Ooh. That's interesting. Like you dip in on a little by low on Jeremiah love, which I've just done in dynasty. But I think in season long there could be something there too. As mentioned, the Cardinals do have the second easiest fantasy playoff schedule. So let's say you're sitting at six and one or something. Yeah. Maybe I think you don't need to do that. By the way, the panthers next for over the next four weeks, they have the fourth easiest schedule. It does get tougher in the fantasy playoff. So that could obviously shift as we get more information. But actually, actually, as I'm looking at this, the panthers have already had the second hardest schedule. It's actually easier going forward. So I don't know. I'm not really worried about the schedule, but closer, I look at it for running back specifically. So I'm probably standing pat on Chuba. It's not like he has this huge name that's going to let you, oh, you know, this is a, I'm trading Derek Henry. He's performing about at that level, but he doesn't have the name. I don't think it's going to be as attractive on the trade wire. These are the big names that are kind of underneath him right now as far as performance goes. Maybe you think one of them will basically you talked about. Safe one, Barkley. No. No. I'm out on safe. If he was healthy, yes. David Montgomery. No. - No. - No. - Camp Scataboo. - Yeah. - He's right next to Jeremiah Love, Travis A. Chan. You haven't even seen it yet to know. - We don't know, is he gonna be back? - Yep. - Ramandre Stevenson. - And here's part, this is your kind of - Chase Brown. - Answering the question. - Yeah, I mean, that's why we're going through the exercise. - Chase Brown's a close call. - Chase Brown's interesting. - Yeah, Chase Brown is a close call, but like running back is so tough right now. If you have one that's reliable week to week, man, just keep plugging along. - I think you stick with it right now. - I mean, what can you do at this point? - You have to hold tight, so. - All right, next question. This one comes from Chapologist, Chase Brown, or Jordan Mason, if Aaron Jones is out. - Chase Brown, yeah. - Agreed, even if Aaron Jones is out. I was still going with Chase Brown. He's got that receiving game upside that Jordan Mason just doesn't have. Robert McWaters wants to know, would you all trade Jefferson for Parker Washington? Is there a chance that he's going to outscore Jefferson based on his better quarterback play and more consistency? - Wow. - I'm holding tight. I'm gonna hold tight on Jefferson here. I remember their schedule does lighten up a lot going forward. So give me Jefferson here, but I understand the question. - I got it. - I do. - I feel like we're kind of at this part right now. We're starting to get some scar tissue with Justin Jefferson because after last year, the first five years of his career, he didn't make a difference who played quarterback. Last year was so bad. This year we thought maybe it would start out a little bit different. We really haven't seen Jefferson smash the way that he has been. Boy, I don't know if he, do you think he, I'm not sure he gets back on track in the way that he was. I think we have had to and probably need to lower our expectations rest of season that like Jefferson's more low end wide receiver one, high end wide receiver two than he is there. - Just keep this in mind though. He's probably one less game than Parker Washington, right? 'Cause he was injured for that game. So he wasn't fully healthy there. He's 20 fantasy points behind him. So he could wheel what, you know, let's, let's assume he averages 15 or can get 15 fantasy points with a lighter schedule. He's within five and that with that extra game member, Washington is playing an extra game. So they're pretty close actually. The schedule frees up for Jefferson going forward. You know, just like he's been horrific like last year. - Would you rather have Kyler Murray with an easy schedule, or do I have to have a Lawrence? - I guess he's in Washington. I mean, Washington's last three finishes are 29th then 94th and 3rd and 36. Like he's been up and down as well. It's not like we're talking about Amman Ra or someone here. They have a lot of mouse defeat in that offense and it's going to lead to some duds. Last one, we're going to throw up on the screen. The official compensation amount for the trade that had just come through full terms. Bears received Jeffrey Simmons in a 2028 fifth. Titans received 2027 and 2028 first round picks as well as a fourth round pick in 2027 as well. - All right. Yeah, I guess two first makes more sense. Since they're both going to be presumably later picked. Certainly, this year should be a late pick. How about a little just just very short term. You know, Daniel's guy chase Brown trying to get on track here. - Yes. Little booze for Chase Brown this weekend. Not having to face Jeffrey Simmons. - Hey, hey, hey. - And now it'll take whatever we can get. - Yeah. - That's right. - And bounce back again. - It's like, good with it. Yeah. - Daniel's were 10 and a half point favorites at before this trade. I wonder if this line moves like a point because Jeffrey Simmons. All right. We need Red Zone Addison's producing. We need the Red Zone question. Oh, no, it may not fit the theme, but if it does, does Chase Brown score touchdown? - Next game, Raiders and Jets. - Sorry, we got off track there. - Well, a little bit. - You know what it's football? We all love talking ball here, guys. Couple of lineup blocks in this one. Ashton Gentie Brock Bowers makes sense for the Raiders. Breast Hall, Garrett Wilson also kind of makes sense for the Jets. Rayland Allen has been really good when deployed in Breast Hall's absence. Feels like Breast Hall is going to get the go in this one, guys. - It does, yep. - Sure it does. - Let's talk about Geno Smith because he's got a couple of pass catchers at his disposal. Is he in that streaming radar? You think this week? - Yeah, this is actually my topic this time. So I appreciate you giving it to me. Unlike Breast Hall, too. And who is your topic? - We're like, I don't feel like doing it. - Make sure to do what's not my topic. - Absolutely, it was. Yes it was. - That was your topic and you were just like, I don't want to do it, I'm lazy. So I took it though. Don't worry. - You got to go to the document, not to. - Don't worry. I checked a little peek behind the curtain is when we, all the games are aligned up when we do the game previews. We kind of all pick. Okay, I want to talk about this in this game and I want to talk about this in this game. You want to base Hall Tune. - You're right. - And then you're like, I don't know. - I don't want to be. - I don't know. Whenever Mike just goes into like a brief answer on Basel Tune, or any player you're like, that definitely was not prepped. - That was, that was not. - Because you could read a novel on every topic. - Oh, I absolutely can, which is one of the great things. - I held down the fort fine. I don't know. - No, I know. - It says Mike on the sheet, but you're right, on our planner earlier this week. I apologize. - I would like to apologize. - If you roll it back, you'll see me startled for a few seconds 'cause I'm like, I don't think that was me. But we got there. - But yeah, I was proud of you Mike. - Recalculating. - Yeah, I do. - I do. - Now that one of you is talking about the Jets running back, so just, I'll throw a bonus topic in once we're done. I'll bring them up 'cause I do think it's worth discussing how startable either is. - You start with the quarterback. - You know Smith, yes. - Perfect. - Naturally we have to talk about right off the top revenge game. - Yes. - Yeah, really. - Vegas Raiders. It didn't go well for him with the Raiders. Obviously dipped in a big way. Well, I was out there. Now gets to prove that he's the guy because he is playing pretty well for the Jets so far this season. He was great last week. 287 yards and three touchdowns against Miami. I get it. It was a light matchup. But guess what? He had one other light matchup this season. It was against your Lions in week three and he put up 26 fantasy points in that game as well. He has otherwise struggled to schedule as much harder. Not too much with his legs, but guys, this is another very attractive matchup for Geno Smith Raiders of a lot of 16 passing touchdowns already this season. The fifth most fantasy points of quarterbacks, only Justin Herbert hasn't reached 16 and a half fantasy points against the Raiders so far this season. I'm not looking at you, field. I'm not making a direct eye contact. All right. So it's a great matchup here for Geno Smith. He should be an excellent streamer this week. Do you want me to do the Jets running backs now? Because you're going to go talk about what's going on. I guess Tray Tucker and Omar. That's all right. I'll start with Cooper and then. Well, I think it's worth. So you saw on the lineup lock sheet for the Jets. It was Geno Smith and Garrett Wilson. I don't, I don't, Geno wasn't a lineup lock, but I'm sorry. It's a good streamer. So I have this breeze hall. It's a lineup lock. Air Wilson. So. All right. So you have a lineup lock, which I think five defaults. I don't know. I don't know. That, that expresses your confidence. Yeah. You guys, you got to figure the breeze all season discounted in his work. I, and that's sacred and that's still baked into it. It's a braille and Alan's not going away. And especially like maybe there's a chance that a month from now, if breeze hall is no longer dealing with this, was it a thigh injury? It will be back up to speed. But for, in the short term, I do think braille and Alan still has a role in the hope for breeze hall managers that braille and Alan's role is not sticky is that it's like breeze hall gets back up to 70% of the snaps, braille and Alan's 30% of the snaps and the Jets has continued to leaning on the guy who they paid so much this off season. But I think it has my attention for this week. So still starting breeze hall, little concerned, little concerned. So weeks one through three breeze hall was averaging 68% of their design runs. It was rate around 25% for braille and Alan. I have a 55% now for breeze hall, 37 for braille and Alan for this game. So that gap is definitely closer. This is more of a reduced role for breeze hall. And maybe I'm too optimistic. Maybe the gap will be a little bit closer, but especially braille and being good in the passing game and probably still going to be at least the one A as a rusher against the Raiders makes me feel like he should be in line. I think he's too good for them to just be like, all right. Now you're back to the bench. Now that breeze hall is back. It's reached over a hundred totally arch from scrimmage all of the games that he's been the guy. But we've seen this before with teams, too, where they just dissed. But it went from like 60 you had breeze hall before before you said it was 65% and now you're projecting 55. So you're so you're clearly already baking that in. Yeah, I think you kind of have to, but also I won't be shocked either way. I won't be shocked if it's, I don't know, let's say 14 carries for Hall and 12 for Alan. If the game scripts good, I want to also be surprised if they just go right back to the well with breeze hall like they have. It's not like, again, Alan already had a role. He was handling a quarter of the carries. Wouldn't shock me because teams do this all the time where we're like, there's no way they're sending that guy back. And then like, what's going to happen? Let me ask you this. What happened? What would happen? Let's just say to Von Hn1 and I are, but he was going to come back in mid-season, right? Would we would be like, well, Ali Gordon is playing too well. He's got to eat away at this. I think he'd keep a rule. We think that. Not a big rule, but teams do that all the time. Oh, yeah, he would. Yeah. Of course, someone else has to play. Yeah, yeah. Perhaps, but we've seen this over and over and over and we're always like, he's probably going to lose work and then they don't, they don't, they go right back to the well with a better talent. That's breeze all here. Hey, speaking of going back to the well with better talent, let's talk about chasing the points with Omar Cooper Jr. I mean, Garrett Wilson is the well. And right now we're chasing the talent in the well. I don't know. That one wouldn't have worked. I started. I know. You're the segue king. Well, it's dry in that one guy. Sorry about that. As an emotional fantasy manager, I want to ask you guys because you're not emotional all the time. As you are. What's emotion? What is emotion? Field. Field and I will have some hug it out. I have a heart. Yeah. Teach me about emotion. Human. How do you not chase the fantasy points? After the first two weeks where you've seen Omar Cooper Jr. drop over 20 fantasy points. He's tantalizing for sure, especially because Mike is saying, hey, we have a belief in genome sequence. This week, which the three of us are aligned on, it's not Mike on an island. On top of that, Garrett Wilson, something feels amiss right there right now. And the next 12 days, I think he looms large as well, right? If we just had Jeffrey Simmons get traded, why couldn't a guy like Garrett Wilson get traded? I know the response from Jets fans. We need to keep some good players. We already have enough picks. If you have a player that is totally pissed off right now, and it sounds like care, Wilson's pretty close to totally pissed off, we'll see whether he is still a jet beyond the trade deadline. For now, though, still treating him like a very strong wide receiver option this week, I think Cooper's a flex. I hear you. Yeah. I've got him as wide receiver 30. I think it would be tough for me when a guy. goes off a form like a first round pick from this year's draft and you love the match up going on. And he said two games where he scored to like, I don't know how I emotionally put that guy in my bench unless I'm just stacked at the wide receiver or flex position. So I'm not expecting the same kind of thing. I don't think that two touchdowns and a hundred yard game is going to happen. But I do believe that he has the talent and I have to keep rolling with it because I won't respect myself if I don't the reason why you would expect him perhaps to go come back to her. Certainly from the last week is because they're going to get air Wilson going. The guy is one of the most talented receivers in the NFL. They're going to get him rolling and also Eddie Mitchell came back from injury last week and led to a reduced role for Cooper, even though he had a good game. And Eddie Mitchell in theory should play even more in his second game back because that guy won that job. I mean, he there was so much hype for him in the offseason. I don't think he's going to disappear and that suddenly becomes a lot of mouse defeated in an offense that has a good match up this week. But we'll always have matchups like this. Yeah. They haven't been near as good. Remember, do you know Smith and his other five games other than the two good matchups averaging 11.1 fantasy points per game. So that's not going to be enough to support all of these guys in fantasy lineups. No, but we're chasing the match up here. We are this week. Are you guys chasing the points on trade Tucker? Here's where I'm at with him. Okay. Three boom games over 21 fantasy points. Love that. But maybe more significantly are the four bust games under eight and a half fantasy points. Great. Only three wide receivers have topped 15 fantasy points against the Jets so far this year. I don't think trade Tucker is one of those guys that would factor into that list. To me, I'd project more bust than boom with trade Tucker here. And if I had to choose, I'd rather have someone be more boomy than busty. I don't know about you guys. You'll come in. So because of that, I think I am. I don't know what you guys mean when you say stuff like that. But I think that I would rather start Omar Cooper Jr. as a flex than trade Tucker as a flex in this one. Do you guys have them ranked similarly? Or would you rather go with trade Tucker? Which one we have more confidence in here? Well, that projections are on the screen for me. That's a close call. Yeah, I have Tucker just ahead, but it is a coin flip. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Tucker's been both in the flex conversation here, guys. We'll see if Tucker can get that consistency and keep it going. We've seen these pockets of boom games from him. It's just whether or not it can be a thing that can change. Tucker's target chair was up a little early in the season. And then Brock Bowers came back and adipped and it was like, okay, back to where we thought, you know, he's kind of going to disappear from relevance. And then it kind of has bounced back up to it's gone from 14% to 18% to 28% over the last three weeks. Now, 28% season high, not going to match that he'll probably be closer to the 17 18% range. So, yeah, last game is a, a spike game for him. He'll come back to Earth, but he's certainly done enough to hang on the flex radar. I'm taking the jets in this one. What about you field? Jets at home. Mike's taking the jets. Our producers are taking the jets as well. You know, we have two games left plus a list plus our Rahim Sanders, but I just wanted to, it dawned on me. The two men responsible for architecting the trade that just went down today. Titans and bears. Titans GM, Mike Borgonzi, bears GM Ryan Poles, their first jobs in the NFL, shared an office with me. What? Wow. Yeah. My first job we were all working. We're all scouting assistance with the Kansas City Chiefs. Our office was three of us in one office that's probably the size of the studio that three of us are in right now. Wow. Would you guys describe the studio as spacious or small? Small. Yes. All right. So, do you feel the pressure to trade now? Yeah. Yes. I'm trying to in our dynasty league. Love that. The fish bowl. Back in the day. So, we had a lot of good times together. That's awesome. Great guys for you, dude. Good for them, by the way. Yeah. I was going to say we always make the same joke anytime. I talked to one of my colleagues that was there because my first year in Kansas City when I got hired, the other members of the quote unquote rookie class, Mike Borgonzi, Titans GM, Ryan Poles, bears GM, Brent Tillis who's the VP of football operations. Kind of a he's sort of him and Dan Morgan. He's the number two to Dan Morgan in Carolina. Okay. And Super Bowl winning head coach, Nick Sireon. Wow. Okay. Yeah. So, I always joke with those guys when I see him. I'm like, good to see that, you know, out of the two of us, if I see Nick Sireon, it's good to see that out of the two of us. One of us has made something of our stuff. Yeah. What happened to you in that group? I don't know. The Super Bowl winner with Eric Moody and Eric Carbell and Tristan Carter. Yeah. So, I get a bunch of NASCAR drivers and you know what I'm saying. I talk those guys everything they know. So, by extension, I'm a Super Bowl champion with Eagles. You're right. That's amazing. Sure. Where's your ring? Let's see it. I don't have one. I have one Super Bowl ring. I actually do have a Super Bowl. I know. I do. I would love to see that. Wait, you really didn't know that? I didn't know that. No, I was with the Patriots. With the Patriots, yeah. Yeah. It's awesome. I'll bring it in some, I don't know about that. You should, you should bring it in, bring it out of the safe. I've worn it like twice in my entire life. Yeah, it's not a thing that you wear. Like out, right? No. I mean, you wouldn't do that. You weighs like three pounds. You wore it for your wedding and what else? Not my wedding. You didn't wear it for your wedding. No. I think I wore it like one time after I got it to like whatever occasion and then one time. I don't know. I'm trying to impress my now wife. I was gonna say, do you, why, do you, you should show up to your fantasy draft? If you marry me, I'll get you a ring. I'll get you one of these. That's right. We didn't even get to call for it. They were just like, you're done. We're putting up the next full screen. Ravens and bills in next game, guys, a couple of line of blocks here. Lamar Jackson, Derek Henry's a flowers on the other side. Josh Allen, James Cook, DJ Moore, guys, Lamar Jackson, full participant in practice on Wednesday. You love to be able to see that coming back from the ankle injuries currently quarterback seven on the year tied with Drake May. Last two games he's had against the bills. Lamar Jackson, 23.6 and 29.4 fantasy points. That's good. You'll take that. I would take both of those. It feels like he's going to be better and good to go this week. So just giving you that update. I scored it back seven and a points for game basis points. I was going to say, because I've been missed time. He's probably not. He's quarterback 25. I'll say this and this may sound like a hot take here, but because of the time that Lamar is missed, I think anybody who's a Lamar manager would agree. Like he needs to be back and back with the vengeance. Like now. Yes. Well, good matchup. I think he's going to play. Yes. It's an opportunity to get back on track. Daniel described his success. And it'll help because I think Derek Henry is about to go off as well. Mike outlined the Derek Henry has been under six fantasy points for the first time since when he was still with the Titans in 2023. Wow. Been a while. It's been a while since Derek Henry was as bad as he has been and back to back games over the last two weeks, but it's a good opportunity to get going against the bills who have allowed the third most fantasy points of running back so far this season. And you'd actually think it might be the opposite. The bills allow a lot of running back a lot of wide receiver points because they play shootouts and they're going to be up big. The bills just aren't a good run defense at all. They can use a Jeffrey Simmons type play. Every opponent, the bills of face in their six games this season is at a running back reach at least 13.7 fantasy points, which is a good number right there. Four have reached 18.4 or more. Derek Henry, as we know, going to be amongst the highest volume players in the NFL, that's the case again. He has a second most rushing attempts in the league. The over under here is tasty. I'm in on Derek Henry having a monster bounce back the grade. Love it. I'm with you on that one. I'm going to take the Ravens in this one guys. Which side are you on? I get the bills. I have the bills. I'm the only one taking the Ravens. By the way, there's really not a whole lot being able to talk about with the the bills, right? They're one of these chalky teams where the lineup is you play him 100%. Yeah, we're watching DJ Moore because he's quietly been really good when he's been out there, but he's just can't. He's not fully healthy, but he got a couple of weeks off now. Rested up ready to go. So if he's out of 100%, he's going to be in a good spot. I do miss weeks one and two Dalton can Kate. Yeah, I still one of them just bizarre things. I don't know. I don't have a good answer for it. Nobody time is keeps bouncing around his usage bounce around. He's also hurting. He actually had a decent. They tried to get him the football like he had, I think five passes in that game, but it was for like 28 yards or something. It was all short range stuff. So very bizarre situation. The battle of Los Angeles, the Rams versus the university of the chargers. Yeah. Iron Williams and Puka line up blocks on one side. On the other side, there's no one for the chargers. Mike's about to violate a rule. Uh-oh. We don't talk about the chargers until they give us a reason. Talk about them again. I think they're going to though. So does that count? Sure. Go for it. You're the projector. I'm going to talk about Lad Maconkey. I'm going to respect his name. Lederys. I'm around full names. Lederys. Lederys. Lederys. Modarius. Maconkey. I almost said Maconkey. Anyway. I can't say Maconkey. I just say, I just go right to bad Mac, Maconkey. Look, rough start, but let's talk about it with a little bit of context here. Guys, week one, five for 82 and a touchdown and seven targets. Here we go. Yeah, he drafted Lad Maconkey. You're so great about it. You only played half that game left injured. So impressive, but you're still feeling good once he's healthy and back out there. Week two wasn't fully healthy. Played half the snaps. Again, three for 35, caught all of his targets. Oh, so we'll be fine when he's healthy. Week three is only full game. Pretty good. Four for 66 on five targets in score, but you'll take four for 66 in that situation. Then the next two games, a total of 17 yards on three targets. He ran a total of 21 routes. One game left with a concussion. The other game you left injured. It's just been a disaster. Now the chargers had just had their buy week by all indications. You should be good to go. And if he's 100% healthy, we're feeling better about him going forward. Certainly I am. If there's a drawback here, it is to match up the Rams. Have a lot of the fewest catches and the fifth fewest fantasy points to wide receivers, but they have a lot of touchdown to the position. That's six most. So I feel strangely positive about a healthy lad, McConkey. I think it's going to be clear cut that he's the go to target in this offense. It's a good player. When he's been healthy this year, he's been targeted. He's been productive. So I'm sticking with him. I think you plug him in as a flex this week. Mike's firmware has been hacked. Yes. Correct. We should shut him down. Terrapathy inside. figure out what viruses you got going on. This actually made me think about something coming into the preseason. Everybody wanted to know who could be this year's JSN and Lad Maconkey was amongst the trendier picks to become this year's JSN along with the Mecca Abouka totally now their names that were flat out wrong. Obviously. I wonder if this year's JSN is just JSN. He just levels up again. Yeah, he just goes suicide. A lot of feedbacks. A lot of feedback on JSN, not going to in our mock yes. Yeah, absolutely. In our updated that was you mess that up. I know, but I think it's a healthy conversation. I have a question for you. You're obviously you're talking around just, but however, like think about this. So Maconkey's active, right? So what share of the targets do you expect him to have if you're not expecting him to rebound? Right? Like he's going to probably handle about a quarter of the tar. It's going to say 25%. Yeah. So would you think it's going to drop to 20 or 17? Like, no, of course not. You know, he's going to be a big part of the office and if you're projecting, I just talk about the quarter of the target, he's going to be startable. 25% of the targets from Justin Herbert isn't the same as it is from other quarterbacks. Not funny, guys. All right, on the Rams front, let's talk about the tight ends here for a second. Do we have to? Can you pick a Rams tight end? Because last week, first game without Devonte Adams, it's pretty interesting. You're shaking. This is like roulette. It is roulette. That's what I think there is an clear answer. If all are healthy. Perhaps, but go ahead. Well, that feels so last week, the Rams had three tight ends on the field. A lot, Tyler Higby Davis Allen and Colby Parkinson all played between 69 and 75% of the snaps. They were all there a lot. All of them ran between 13 and 16 routes. Parkinson though had six targets. Davis Allen had two targets. Tyler Higby had two I'm sorry, five for Davis Allen. So six for Parkinson, five for Allen. Two for Tyler Higby. Allen just turned 40% of his targets into touchdowns. Yep. And Mike thinks the answer is Colby Parkinson decided to tell me why. Because I feel like when he has been healthy, he's been the go to pass catching tight end for them. We saw that in the final month of the season last year as well. And then I feel like it's it's peaked as well. I mean, I think you can make a case for Higby. I don't think he's far behind. But if I'm choosing one, I think Parkinson is the best chance to be a consistent option in the passing game. I want it to be Terrence Ferguson, but he's not even returning to practice yet. He's probably a ways away. Maybe a few more weeks at least. From coming back, at some point, he might develop into that guy. But for now, I give Parkinson a slight edge over Higby. It may not matter. None of these guys are inside our top 10 for tight ends. But obviously, you're always looking for a guy. It's been such a week here for tight ends. Again, what else is new? So I land on whichever one the wheel lands on. Mike lands more decisively on Colby Parkinson. I land on that mean girl's reference that we use every once like once a year. And what's just like, we need to stop trying to make Rams tight ends happen for us. And there you go. Good answer. Who you picking in this game? I'm going Los Angeles. I'm also going Los Angeles. We got an upset on the board. I'm taking the Rams, but it's not me producers. The producers. Can you believe the hapless Los Angeles charges the only winless team in the NFL? Hey, I would be the Rams cannot cannot stop looking at it. That's insane. Cannot charge. It's over already. Rams cannot lose this one. Reem Sanders pick my friends. Do it. Reem Sanders monopoly fund week eight Reem Sanders still on IR will let you know when he's back and obviously ready for our fantasy usage. I'm going to go with Jeremy McNichols. I get 0.3% rostered going up against the hapless Eagles. Anytime you get a good match up, you got to take advantage of it. Take a guy right at the 0.3% mark and not be bold. And then you do that to me the other way. I did. The difference is I've hit this year. What about you? Where are you going to go? I'm going to chargeers clear starting tight end. Yes. Carly Kohler because you got to invest in the charges. This is a dangerous game. I'm playing guys first. I'm talking up lab now. I'm talking up. Charlie Kohler. So 46% route participation is four games. Back in weeks, this is most recent game match day career. Hi guys with six targets in that game as three catches in three straight games. And the Rams a lot of neat addkins touchdown. He's more of a, you know, he's an H back of blocking tight end. Yeah. Kohler, of course, the blocking tight end. But he's the guy who know what David and Joku. He's the very clear cut number one for the charger. So give me Kohler. And this is something that Mike probably has literally never experienced because he's just much more solid and logical with his with his insight. I had a vision though. Oh, I had a vision. Okay. It was Eric Sobert catching a touchdown on Monday night football for the Seahawks. Wow. He was one of those guys where I think he had a catch last Thursday Sunday night. And I was like, Oh, yeah, Eric Sobert. One of those players are just kind of hangs around for a decade in the NFL. Remember, he caught the two pointer against the Rams last year that helped them win that late season game that ultimately helped them get home filled advantage. When Eric Sobert is, did he come from the famous hot dog franchise? When you walk around New York, you see those like Sobert. Yeah. Are those different? I don't know. I'm unfamiliar. I'm gonna say probably not Daniel. Okay. Yeah. He probably wouldn't bother playing football if he was generationally wealthy. This is a whole one. Bro, you don't know what love of the game means then. Sorry. He's averaging five pass routes and a game this year has two percent of the targets he's handled. Seattle, but you just need that one target near the goal of your vision. Our producers took Matt Hibner, who plays bass in one of my favorite bands currently on tour. No, I have no idea. Ravens number two, they drafted him and Josh Quavis this year. So they're, they got, Josh Quavis already got in the end zone. Yeah. So they're going to replace. They're the long-term replacements for Mark Andrews. The team hopes, I guess, but great. Hibner. Yeah. Good young player. So man, it's too bad they didn't have a replacement for Mark Andrews already in line. That's a tough part. All right. Let's do a top 10 here, guys. It's my turn this week. Fantasy focus, top 10. And it's Halloween, which means I got to give you my top 10 Halloween candy. Just for the record, this is the list that should engage as much as any. You would think like Mike and I went like a SNL is very popular, but it's not like every single person alive has or still watches SNL. Right. All right. Candy hit me, Daniel. I'm going to start at 10 with the three musketeers. It's creamy inside. I like the creamy inside. Not everyone likes it. Not everyone's into that thing. I believe it's a whipped chocolate inside of it. I love the whipped inside research on he did on candy. Okay. That's my number 10. Number nine, Reese's peanut butter. That seems low to me. Really low. That's really my favorite. Really low. That'd be in the top three. This would be, yeah. I can only have so many of them because after a while, too much peanut butter just makes me full. So that's a part of your good disagree. All right. Number eight from me after the cup. It's butter fingers, guys. Yeah. I do love butter fingers. You got to get the stuff out of your teeth after you eat it. They're fine. That's the one thing. But how do you not like the crispy, crunchy peanut buttery butter fingers? You just said you can't have too much peanut butter and Reese's peanut butter cup. And now you put butter fingers ahead of them. Well, you know what? It's your list. It's my list. That's right. Number seven. I'm going to check this when I said it, guys. They're fine. Peanut M&Ms. I would rather have the peanut M&Ms over the regular M&Ms. I like peanut M&Ms. Like they're the perfect snack for like, you know, and you're walking through like an office. Yes. And it's not dangerous. Just or just like you're not you're the the docks here or something. It's not the dentist. Yes. And it's like they're just available to grab a little handful. Yes. They're a perfect candy for that. I'm not going to go to the store and buy peanut M&Ms. Great. I'm with you on that. I love that. Number six for me. Starburst. That's our first guy. What color though? This is the key. This is going to be the most contrast. This is a personality thing. Guys, it's an easy answer. They all taste the same. No, don't. That is a ludic. That's the worst. Take you. There isn't there. They all literally taste. No, they don't. There is no flavors. They're just colors. This isn't even an opinion thing at this point. No, actually untrue. That's not true. Yeah. And there's only one correct answer and you need to get your tongue checked. Yeah. Are you color blind? Are you taste blind? I don't know. The answer is pink. I think I would go with pink as well. Yeah. Yeah. Number five Snickers. Whenever you're hungry, you just got to throw it. It's right in the middle. You know what? That's the perfect spot for it. Dead center. Right in the middle. Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes you love it. Sometimes. Nope. That's a different candy. Never mind. Number four. Number four. I'm going with sour patch kids. Good win right there. Yeah. Little high. I love the. I love the sour. I love the gummy part of it. Yeah. So good. It's delicious. All right. Here we go. My top three Kit Katz. You know why I love a Kit Kat because in the little Halloween ones, you get two of them even though they're little. Yeah. But you still get to break it off and feel like you're eating two of them rather than that Kit Katz bar. Yes. Please. Number two is the Twix. Okay. Here's the question. When you eat a Twix, do you take a bite all the way through the bar or as a kid, what we used to do was you'd bite like the top half and get the caramel part and then you have a part. Yeah. And then you just eat the wafer after the fact. I do not do that. I did that with the other little peanut butter. Talk to that. I don't remember what they're called. But anyways, not a not a bars. Oh, yeah. I do that with those, but I did not do that with Twix. Yeah. All right. Twix is my number two guys. Number one. Wow. That's a take. That is as close as you can get to pouring sugar directly into my veins. And that is what Halloween candy is all about. It is just compressed sugar and pink and blue. And they taste delicious. Very much a fan for my kids. Yes. Wow. That's a bold one. I think no skittles on here. That one's outskittles. Here are the biggest omissions. Skittles. Yep. Cran bars. Outstanding. Oh, you like those? Okay. And then my hottest take, and this is a candy that nobody likes except for me. You guys know all my joys. Yes. You know, they're cousins, the mounds, which is the dark chocolate without the nut. Yep. Phenomenal. Really? Bounds are off the charts. I like milk chocolate. You know, my favorite right now. - No, not guys. - Not a big candy guy, but you know what I like? The Oreo Reese Peanut Butter Cups that are out there now? - I do, I guess they are really good. I don't know what they're doing, but I don't know what candy science is up to, but they know what they're doing. - Me either, that's how it's good. - Let's get a couple of inputs from the chat. - I'm still so-- - See what they've got to say. - I miss them. - Colton, no, you're good, you're good. Three musketeers are the big old mid. How dare you say musketeers are mid? What are you talking about? People need to stop disciplining the candy corn. Disagree on that one. I like candy corn, but what's wrong with that picture? - I thought you'd love handsome. - Thank you very much. I agree with that. Reese's at nine. - Thank you, Stressy. - That's a good thing. - Reese's at nine. Okay guys. - That's James. - Where would you have put it? - This is the thing. - Free to jail. - Free to jail. - Okay, justice. - Yes, justice knows ball. Butterfingers over Reese's the top rapper. I just said I didn't want to be in that movie. - Oh, yeah, guys, pes, I have pes on that list. - I think, you know what? But pes are interactive. - I don't experience this more fun. - Yeah, I don't like love the candy part by itself, but the fact that you get to pop it out of the pes. - Do you have something fun with the kids? - The pes factories. - Take 'em down here. - Yeah. - I went on a date there one time. - It was cool. - It was fun. - The pes factories, yeah. - I think it's the whole thing. It's like a jam and there's a game. - Where? - Yeah, it's not fun. - It's within maybe orange, Connecticut might be in orange. - That sounds true. - But it's a huge, there's a whole one of your daughters would lose their mind. - Oh, I never knew that. - Oh my gosh, that's, we just found a great day. Yeah. - I was really big on the pes factory. - Field supposedly knows ball. Not sure that we-- - Make it cold to me. - Cold to me. - No ball as well. - Not sure. - Yeah. - Do you love patch kids? - Yeah. - I did feel bad about the Skittles. The reason why I didn't pick Skittles is because I will open the bag, pour the entire bag into my hand, and that's a mistake. - What's the best thing about Skittling your hands? - Yeah, don't do that 'cause then your hand gets all sticky. - Yeah. - What's the question? - I get to go red, I'm just, I like the red. - Orange is the best Skittle. - Yeah. - Nice. - A lot of debate. - Roboss's Tom Texas saying, "Hey, lemon, that's actually the best flavor." - I want to keep my job, but I disagree with that pretty strongly. - Not a lemon. - Starburst guy, so that's the least. - They don't, what do you mean you're not a lemon, Starburst guy?
