Week 7 Start Sit Advice (Part 2) | Sneaky Starts & Players to BENCH (10/23 Fantasy Football Podcast)

The podcast discusses key takeaways from recent NFL games, focusing on player performances and fantasy football implications. Ramon Dray Stevenson’s game-winning touchdown is noted for a bizarre defensive misstep where cornerback Malik Muhammad ran away from him, highlighting a moment of poor defensive judgment. AJ Brown’s decline in speed and production after a high ankle sprain raises concerns about his long-term viability, though his route work still shows promise. The Bears' offense is praised for its effectiveness against elite wide receivers, particularly through standout performances by Luther Burden and Andre Swift. Caleb Williams is in strong form, with two back-to-back 300-yard games and improved running ability, making him a top-10 fantasy quarterback. The Packers’ offense, led by Josh Jacobs and Jordan Love, is viewed as a high-scoring, high-impact unit, with Jacobs considered a top-20 fantasy running back due to fresh legs and favorable matchups. Injuries to key players like Colson Loveland and Brock Bowers are acknowledged, but the team’s depth and reliance on high-volume players are still valued. The Rams are seen as a risky team due to defensive injuries and depth challenges, while fantasy managers are encouraged to prioritize volume, matchups, and injury updates over raw talent. Overall, the analysis emphasizes the importance of adaptability and strategic roster planning in fantasy football, especially during injury-prone weeks.

Hey, I'm Tony DeCouple, anchor of the CBS evening news on my new daily podcast Great Question with Tony DeCouple. We go deeper on the one big question you haven't heard answered, or maybe haven't even heard asked. Follow and listen wherever you get your podcasts. Here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and he. Welcome to the show. Congratulations to you Drake Bay managers. Not so much to you, AJ Brown managers. We'll talk about Chicago 29 in New England 24, and we've got six NFC home games to get to today. Dallas at Philadelphia on Monday night. Yeah, I'm sure we're all pumped for that. One Green Bay at Detroit Tampa Bay at Carolina, Denver, Arizona. Colts are at the Vikings, and San Francisco is at Atlanta. Did the game of the week live up to the game of the week? Yes, you did a great job. Oh, okay. Yeah, it was, and I knew that Ramon Dray Stevenson was going to get his numbers on one big catch. Like everybody saw that coming, right? Like one big catch where weaves around a defense and defenders are inexplicably running away from him. It's, yeah, easy. Yeah, we saw Dave, Dave notified me watching the tape of Malik Muhammad corner back for the bears. Yeah, I don't know what he was doing. I think he turned her as, as Ramon Dray Steven, ran away from Ramon Dray Stevenson. He did the exact opposite thing that you're supposed to do as a defender. He would be a terrible firefighter. So Ramon Dray was at the 20 yard line basically on his 48 yard touchdown catch at the end of the half. And the guy, he just turns his back and starts running the other direction, Malik Muhammad. I think he thought that Ramon Dray might lateral it across the field. I thought he thought that he was cutting it back. So there was probably a legitimate reason for him running away from him. I'm just making fun, but it was great. If you go back and watch it, it's, it's funny. It's weird. And it's not, and it's not the reason it's not the sole reason why Ramon Dray scored. No, but he probably could have made the tackle if he kept going, could have slowed him down and maybe made the tackle and kept him out of the end zone. What are your other takeaways from this game? Let's talk about AJ Brown, because I'm sure people who started him are upset with the numbers and people who drafted him at high expectations. I watched his routes this morning already. I thought he still showed some burst, still had some quickness in his routes. I don't see the speed anymore. It's, we really haven't seen it for a while and I don't know if it's old age or just injuries catching up with them. Remember he's coming back from a high ankle sprain. We know that players when they have the high ankle sprain aren't necessarily the same every single time. I mean, there's, he's an example of that. Jeremiah Love is an example of that. And maybe Ashen Gentia is too. And so I think you do have to lower expectations for AJ Brown moving forward. And if we see that he's slowing down and he's not the same type of guy and maybe he hasn't been for a while, Patriots see it too. And so there could be some games coming up where they don't have to throw that much and those are going to be weeks where you don't feel good starting AJ Brown. It's going to be the shootouts when you'll go back to AJ Brown and just cross your fingers that volume will carry him. I think I'll have no choice but to go back to AJ Brown basically every week. I don't, you know, I can't sit here and compare his speed from years ago, but I still think he looks fast enough. I don't think he looks slow personally. No, I didn't say slow. No, right. So he may not be what he once was fair. That's what I think is fair. I wonder because I thought he looked better. I watched this tape too. I thought he looked better last week than than last night. I'm just wondering if maybe this short week coming off of full workload and the high ankle span and also yeah, I was just going to say maybe the long layoff after the short week will help him. Yeah. And I know that like I think they've got Miami next. Yeah. And I don't know if I'm going to feel great starting on them, but those games against Green Bay, Detroit. Yeah. Buffalo. They've got later this year. And Jamie, one other thing. Someone's asking of Christian Gonzalez covered AJ Brown last night. One of the things like look at the bears. And I think I brought this up on the Wednesday preview that we did. Like they have faced a pretty much elite number one wide receiver most weeks. And they've done pretty damn well against Teterol Macmillan, Garrett Wilson, Justin Jefferson, Drake London, one more I'm forgetting. Dave Ante Smith, AJ Brown. Now Brown was much was worse. But the bears, maybe we just need to look at them and say they're not a layup for number one receivers. But what are your takeaways here for AJ Brown or the anything you want? Well, I mean, look, obviously it was it was disappointing for AJ Brown, but I think the the fun thing is the other side of the ball really just like the bears offense is is back to being what we hope that was going to be with the main pieces doing exceptional things. You know, and so Luther Burden and Colston, Lovelin or I know Burden was, you know, big plays, but still you're you got to be excited about the numbers. And, you know, Lovelin getting hyper targeted and doing the thing that he did against a really good team that defense tight ends and the Andre Swift being the lead lead rusher by a lot by, you know, significant margin. So oh, Dunes, they will come around. He'll have some games. He's not going to be somebody you can start consistently, but that was a tough cover for him last night. And I thought he still made some plays. It's just it's just fun. It's it's really fun offense to, you know, be be a part of and have players attached to and Caleb Williams looks awesome right now. Back to back 300 yard game is for Caleb Williams. Caleb was started in 68% of leagues. He had five carriers for 18 yards, which was encouraging. You know, obviously you want more yards, but the fact that he was able to run look pretty fast on that one play late in the game or I don't know just good to see some explosion back in his legs. The Andre Swift played over 80% of the snaps he has three straight games with 17.3 or more PPR fantasy points, but so much of it is touchdowns. But he that's good. We like touchdowns. I like to see him, you know, get more than 44 yards on 16 carries, but you know, whatever. And okay, that's that's the are we just the A dot for Caleb Williams was higher. Had to do it, right? I mean, I'll double check. I thought maybe you had that information. No, I didn't look at that today. I'll give me 30 seconds. But I'm assuming it's it was significantly higher from where it was last week. So that's really good. So Colson, Loveland, how many tight ends would you take over him the rest of season now? Bowers, McBride, likely, it's probably it. Kettle, maybe if there's no Mike Evans for a 8.7 A dot for Caleb Williams. Yeah, Colson's right back in there. And the one thing that we've now seen over the last two weeks for Chicago is some concentration on burden and Loveland as far as targets go. And so Khalif Raymond was fun while it lasted. Ramo Dunesay has his role in the perimeter and he made a great catch last night that the one they had to turn back for. It was a tight window throw. That was great. But I feel like those are the two. And that's how we had it pegged coming out of the preseason. Are those are the two that I think we can reliably count on from game to game. And the other thing I would mention is and Jamie, you said this a lot. When you view Brock Bowers, you don't view him as a traditional tight end. I think you call him a wide receiver. And I'm not going to get into that. But I almost think that we have to say that about Loveland too is that he's just not your typical tight end. And he's much more of a receiving downfield type of tight end. And the receiving average doesn't reflect that. But that's something he can do. And so therefore when you look at the matchups for tight ends, I don't know if it's necessarily appropriate to apply them to Loveland, the same way you wouldn't apply them to Bowers. And by the way, the worst news that came out yesterday was a serious knee injury for Colcomat. We don't know. Look serious. We saw it. Ben Johnson said it didn't look good. Right. So hopefully he's okay. We'll wait for that. There were a couple of other injuries. But don't worry about that. Ramondrae Stevenson only six carries. But he had the five catches. He had the 48 yard touchdown run. Does anybody have faith in Ramondrae Stevenson moving forward? This will be our last note on this game. You have faith, Jamie. I think you just you treat him how you drafted him, which was, you know, Loveland number two, high inflex type player and teams on a buy injuries, you'll be happy to start him when everybody's fully healthy on your offstree will have a decision to make probably with him versus somebody else. But look, the type, these are the type of players. We go through this every year where they don't get enough work or they don't do this. So they don't do that. And then I get you 15 fantasy points or 12 fantasy points, whatever it is. Like he's finding a way to be productive. And I think that's just kind of what the end result is. Like it's not going to look pretty all the time. But he's still the, I would still view him not from a talent standpoint, from production standpoint, the best running back on this team. And this is still going to be an offense that moves the ball quite. Moose ball well and it is productive more times than not. So I'll not going to I don't want to overvalue him if everybody's healthy on that team. If there's ever a Henderson absence, like we thought going into week six. And we got over excited about Ramondrae. Like then he'll be, you know, top 15 caliber player, at least going into the week. He just, he's going to have to score touchdowns and be involved in a passing game. And it seems like he's going to continue to do that. Right. That's been his role all along. That was the reason why I was encouraged to start him. But it it's as a number two fantasy running back. It's not as anything more than that. And yesterday it was 70% of the snaps about every single third down snaps half of the snaps inside the 10. They didn't really get down there very much. You got lucky if you started him. But I think that he's got that role, the high value touch role on lock. And I got the sense. I don't know if you guys got the sense. But at some point in the second quarter, I almost felt like the Patriots realized, what are we doing by rotating in kind or for a drive and Travian, Travian had work on their first drive? Like, let's just go back to Ramadre. And Ramadre rewarded them to a degree. Like he rewarded them in the past game, his rushing sunk and they gave up on that pretty quickly. But I also had his role locked up and we can count on him. - He also had the offensive line issues, so running the ball is gonna be tough. - And they're gonna continue to, because Vera Tucker, which put on IR, and they were already on a third string right guard. So that's gonna be a little bit of a factor moving forward. - Yeah, played 70% of the snaps, basically, Ramadre Stevens. And all right, last thing on this game, here's your screenshot. If you look at the 15 yard line, the right hash mark, that is cornerback Malik Muhammad running away from Ramadre Stevens, who is at the 90 yard line, very puzzling moment there. But he's been really good for them and he got hurt in this game actually late. So hopefully he can come back for week eight. Wow, we're gonna be in week eight next week. All right, that's it for Thursday night football. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - Wow. Sunday morning. Oh, wow. I'm gonna be honest with you all. Sam, maybe you can help me. I don't, are we back to noon? Or is it going still 1230 on Sunday? - That's a great question. (laughs) It's over to Schaefer and let's see what we go. But I do know that we're 830 to 930 AM Sunday morning, youtube.com, 830 to 930 AM Eastern, youtube.com/fantasyfootballtoday. Don't just go to YouTube, you won't find it there. youtube.com/fantasyfootballtoday, though, you will find it. There are a few other videos on YouTube. They may not see ours. But anyway. - Are all your clothes intact today? - That. - Dude, I was laughing all day, yesha. That was one of the funniest things we've ever done. - I was crying, not laughing, crying. - Oh, man, yeah, I addressed it with you off air, that's it. - As long as the picket, I can't wait, 1030? 1030 is going to be a lot of fun. - Oh yeah, they'll back, yeah. But okay, but join us Sunday morning, 830 to 930, and then either 12 to 1 or 1230 to 1 will let you know ASAP, but we're doing a great, we're having a great time. You all are doing a great job with your questions there. News and notes, looks like Baker Mayfield. You guys ranking Baker? - Yes, we are. - Okay, looks like he's going to play. And Lamar Jackson, you ranking him yet? - No. - Yeah, let's see what the injure report says Friday. Let's see if he practices again on Friday. I think three limited practice in a questionable tag might lead us into ranking him, but we just, let's wait and see. - Sports line has given him projections. So if you're looking at your league pages on CVS, there was somebody that is like definitely out that sports line was giving projections to also. So I'm not sure if that's what they weren't up until yesterday. - Oh, that I did not know, and they love the Ravens over there and sports line. - Well, yeah, it's a huge game against the Bengals. So I'm sure they're going to want him back. Meanwhile, the Raiders face the Rams and Mike Washington, Jr. mispractice yesterday. So you might feel more comfortable with Ash and Jen. I'm probably going to start him anyway, but Ash and Jenny, if Mike Washington, Jr. doesn't play, we'll keep an eye on that. Sake Wampartley is expected to play. Breeze Hall got a limited practice in yesterday. Are you ranking him yet? - No, but I have contingency plans for the start of the week. So we'll maybe update in the column by the end of the day. - What are the contingency plans? - I'll just switch it to Woody Marks. - Oh, that's a good one. 'Cause David Montgomery has not expected to play, and Jeremiah Love has not expected to play. And I think we talked about that game yesterday. Yeah, so first of all, let's say Breeze Hall does play. Would he be at top 24 running back against the Dolphins? - Definitely, definitely. - Yeah, and in the case of Braille and Allen, I think he's still a high on flex. We haven't seen a lot of two backs have success against Miami. If you recall, almost every Dolphins game, really the season I kept saying, "Oh yeah, this backup will do well or that backup will do." You know, "Hey, Emma Johnson will be a good flex." Or this, you know, Caleb Black, I think it was the back-to-back weeks of 49ers and Chiefs. I was like, "Oh, Caleb Black will be a flex." And Emma Johnson will be a flex and it didn't work out. Then we get to the week five game and the backup running back was the best running back when some J.P. Ryan outperformed Chase Brown. So who knows what you're running back will have success against the Dolphins. I would still consider Braille and Allen a flex if you are stuck this week, but I would start pre-saw over if you had both. - Come to think of it, the reason why P. Ryan had at least an efficient game against Miami was because the Bengals found themselves just like running him downhill out of shotgun and physical runner, powerful runner. - If I had to classify Braille and Allen as those things, I'd think that would be the truth. And so if that's what it takes to run on Miami, then Allen would get some good efficiency at bare minimum. So I like the flex call on Braille and Allen. - Would you play Oli Gordon or Breeze Hall? - I might lean Oli because I just think he's gonna have the volume in his favor. - Yeah, I don't disagree with the volume, but I think the matchup's just so much easier for any of the Jets running back. - Would you start all for them over Oli? - No, I think it's gonna be a volume issue for one of them. And I would assume if they're gonna play Breeze Hall, they're gonna play Breeze Hall. So I would probably think it's gonna be in the neighborhood of 15 total touches for Breeze Hall. And that's usually what Oli Gordon's been getting anyway. - I've got more injuries to get to here, but with Jeremiah Love not expected to play, which cardinals running back are you ranking higher? - Alger. - Still Alger, but they're back to back. - Yes, got a question here. Bam Knight or Tyrone Tracy in PPR? - I gamble on Tracy there. - Me too. - Interesting, I think I'd go with Bam, but. - Okay, Sean Tucker practicing full. Jordan Mason should be back this week. Jonah Coleman is practicing. Alright, Pukin and Kua left practice with a calf injury. Unbelievable. Jamie, what do we think here? First of all, you have to make alternate plans if you have Stafford. Should we be adding Conata Mumfield or anyone else? What the heck is going on here? - So I saw just before we went on the air that Ian Rappaport said it's a minor calf injury. So hopefully that's just, hey, I tweaked something and put you in a bowl of rap, go sit down. But we have to keep an eye on what the practice port is today. So if he gets an unlimited session, it'll be fine if it's no practice, then he should panic. It's not about I did a pickup Mumfield regardless of Pukin's injury because no amount to Adams. So I think you're just looking at it. If you're desperate, the tight ends are still in consideration with ZigBee and Parkinson. That's the order out, rank them. Mumfield is going to be a desperation, play no matter what. I would guess it would be Jordan Winnington that's going to benefit the most of Pukas out with they both, you know, I'm there missing everybody. So I'd be Winnington kind of in Pukas' role and Mumfield in Adams' role or vice versa or two to out will get more play. I don't know. I really don't trust the Rams or Sierra, but I'd want to roster Mumfield at this point just to see what happens. - I'd be way more excited about Tyler Higgby if Pukas out because Higgby has been running down field routes. Jamie, you talked about this on our show yesterday on Sports Network. I would imagine that his target volume, which has been kind of low to begin with, his target share, would increase considerably as an intermediate area target for Matthew Stafford, whereas Parkinson's much more of a short area guy. So that would be the pivot I would make. I don't know if I can trust anybody else other than Higgby and then Parkinson if Pukas out. - All right, other. - And yes, Adam, I'm sorry, you asked about Stafford. You should absolutely plan to replace Stafford if there's no Pukas. - Omega Pukas right now, not looking like he's gonna be able to play still in the concussion protocol. Brian Shoddenheimer, coach of the Cowboys, he called out George Pickens. He said he needs the block better. And I'd love to see him. - I'll go for well. - Get motivated here. Don Tavi and Wix and Devonte Smith and Dallas Goddard, they all miss practice for the Eagles. That was their first practice of the week though. So I assume those guys are gonna play, but she rice probably not gonna play at this point. Dalton Schultz got in a limited session which was encouraging Brock Bowers practice in full and Tyler Warren mispractice. Giants got a good practice report yesterday with their two offensive tackles being limited. The Eagles got Landon Dickerson and their center Ju Kendall as limited. That's good news for them. And on defense, both safeties are gonna be out for the Texans. The Giants got some of the, I talked about the Giants injuries in the secondary. Those two guys were limited, but they're both in the concussion protocol of On Holland and Greg Newsom. The Rams are super beat up on defense with Nate Landman and Trent McDuffie missing practice and two defensive linemen out already. So those are some of the ones who are keeping an eye on. We're gonna take a break. One question for each game. For the six NFC home games we're talking about today. When we come back, we'll be right back. Fall is here and that means football, fantasy football. And of course, Caramel apples. You know, I'm a big fan of the flavor. So when I heard about the new Caramel apple, a five hour energy shot, I had to give it a try. And you get that sweet and tart apple flavor followed by a smooth buttery Caramel finish. It's basically that classic fall Caramel apple flavor in a convenient portable shot. And I love this, it's sugar free. Whether I'm getting ready for a podcast or taking my son to his flag football game or just trying to keep up with everything on my schedule, I love having one ready to go. And if you're a Caramel apple fan like I am, this is a pretty easy way to get that fall flavor without all the sugar. Treat yourself to a crisp apple bite and smooth Caramel delight with a Caramel apple five hour energy shot only available online for a limited time at fivehourenergy.com or Amazon. Welcome back, one question for each game. Dallas is at Philadelphia. Dave, are there any tough calls in this game? I might be in the minority here. I'm a little nervous about Dak Prescott. It's, it's not just each of his last four games. It's five of six games this year, where he's been under 21 fantasy points in, in six point. I'm looking at his numbers now, but the one game he had, where he was awesome, was against the commanders and he, uh, he had, he had a modest A dot. He tried a lot of deeper throws in that game. He started the year actually trying a lot of deep throws. And that's gone away. Most recently, his, his deep throw rate was 1.9%. His A dot last week was 6.9%. And I, I wonder if that's starting to catch up with him statistically because he's not getting enough of those chunk plays. I don't know if I'm ready to say that Philly's defense is good. I think they're sort of mid. They've allowed multiple touchdowns to pretty much every quarterback they've gone up against. That's what keeps him in my top 12, but there are definitely some quarterbacks that I'm, I'm looking at and I think have a higher ceiling than Dak press got at this point just because of how Dak has played this year. All right. I think it was a stupid question on my part because I honestly feel like so many of these guys are tough calls in the Dallas Philadelphia game. Unfortunately, but that's, it'll be the first game we get into in just a moment. Well, give, give us a teaser. Who are the other names that you think are tough? Literally every single player except CD lamb. I mean, the thing is like, you're going to start them, right? No, Javante is not, but you're going to start them because you have to. But I would say they're not necessarily tough calls in my lineup, but I don't feel that confident. I don't feel that confident. Devante Smith, I don't feel that confident that Eagles passing game. George Pickens is giving me a lot of pause. You know, Dak, all the reasons you said, I think Dak will be fine. I think he said some bad luck. I mean, three of his last four interceptions were basically tipped or by his own team, where CD lamb slipped on the route, you know, so I think he's really better than his numbers. But I don't know. I mean, we'll, I'll get into it. Green Bay at Detroit, Jamie Starderson, Jameson Williams. Start, certainly in three or three leagues. He's not in the top 24, but this is a week where there's a lot of good wide receivers. He's coming off to very productive games in very different ways. You know, to touch down game in his last outing 100 yard game, the game before that. I think this is going to be one of the best games on the, of the slate. And we're going to see a huge back and forth type of, you know, shootout that we love of ananza. So Jamie Starderson Williams is definitely in play in those type of performances. Too bad you already used the game of the week, because this would be an easy game of the week. Yeah, it would have been fun. Tampa Bay at Carolina, Dave, can you trust anyone in the Bucks passing game? Especially with a Buka out. So if we're working under that assumption, I would say no. Godwin would be a biweek receiver at best. Ted Hirsch would be a dark throw receiver at best. You can make the case for K. Dot and as a biweek tight end, I suppose. But I think this is Bucky Irving and that's it. Okay. I think we may be getting even if a Buka plays a Chris Godwin super target game. There's been a lot of talking to Tampa Bay media about what's wrong with his start of the season. And that's historically been good for Godwin when it's brought up. Yeah. And I think if you would go back to what we said about Baker Mayfield, the first three games of the year, it was Godwin's open. Just take the easy stuff. Baker may feel trying to throw a 60 yard touchdown on every single play. And he needs to just be disciplined and take what's available. Godwin is 71% Russia with good note, Jamie. Thank you. It's also we keep we we should keep mentioning it. They're still down there. Two top corners. You know, so this is a secondary that's very beautiful. And one of the corners that they are starting is like a magnet for defensive pass interference penalties. So you know that they're going to take it. Baker's definitely going to take some downfield shots against Will Lee. That's the name of the corner. Denver at Arizona, maybe the receiver that gets those targets could actually catch them instead of drawing the flag and just end up being good for fantasy. That would be Ted Hirsch for some foremost if there's no Buka. Denver's at Arizona. Michael Wilson or Jalen Waddle, Jamie. I go Waddle. I just, you know, take a chance on the match up here. I think Wilson is, uh, is going to get his opportunities. It means seven targets each of the last two games. It's been very frustrating. He's got eight catches in those two games. He's been under 70 total yards in those two games like it's under 90 total yards. Excuse me. Um, it's been, uh, it's been frustrating without Marvin Harrison. You know, you would expect that this was the formula for success last year. And it just hasn't worked. So maybe it does. But then even without Patrick Sartana still a tough match up. And I just think this is going to be a game where Waddle has an opportunity to break out because it's much easier opponent than what the Broncos are facing to the last two weeks. Okay. And, Dave, just go to you on the Colts game. Any of that was at Minnesota. How do you approach the Vikings running backs? Uh, with trepidation. I would imagine the split will be around 50/50 when, when they played in week one. The workload split was pretty close. There was a slight nod toward Jones as their third down back. They both had the same amount of snaps inside the 10. I feel like the fresh legs for Jordan Mason is enough to give him a nod. Whereas Aaron Jones, did I read that he, he's been playing through an MCL injury? Spraying MCL and we, yeah. So I, I, I, I'm much more interested in starting, I shouldn't say much more. I'm interested in starting Mason ahead of Jones. But they're both in that low end number two high end non-PPR flex range. Yeah, I read that on ESPN yesterday and it was like, oh, of course he's been playing. He heard his knee in week two, I think. And Jones has been playing with a sprained MCL week two or three. They did just come off their buy. So hopefully that helps him. But, uh, would you start a Minnesota running back or Michael Wilson or Jalen Waddle? I think I'd go to the receivers. Jamie, uh, Jones, Waddle, Wilson Mason. Last game is San Francisco at Atlanta. And a starter sit Kyle Pitz, Jamie, the 49ers. They're fourth best against tight ends, but they really haven't faced anyone. I mean, McBride had 75 yards. Chigel Conkel was good last week. So I don't really look at that starter sit pits that started. I mean, you know, he's getting going the last two weeks. It's, I still think, you know, I've said it from the beginning. Then I think this is going to be a high scoring game. Even though San Francisco is banged up offensively that they'll put up points. And that was kind of the formula for success last week for Pentex. The season high 33 pass attempts the game before that. They went over time, these are 32 passes. So as long as you're getting volume from Pentex, that's going to benefit everybody. And Pitz is kind of, I think Pitz, Pentex, um, Staphanski, they're all kind of figuring out what the, the, the tight end role in Staphanski is often supposed to be. Obviously, Staphanski knows that. But you get my point. It's like, you know, hey, let's make things easy for Pentex and Pitz to connect. And it's working. And so three touchdowns, the last two games, like, don't ignore when a talented player is starting to produce Kyle Pitz or it's sucker craft. Pitz. So I would go craft just based on the matchup craft actually has played well. Two of his last three games as well. I know Brian Branch is going to return, but I still don't think this line's defense is going to solve their tight end woes, especially facing a multi-faceted offense like Detroit. So I have them back to back six and seven. Okay. And Dave has them back to back to Kyle Pitz seven, sucker craft eight. So both Jamie and Dave have pit seventh, he has him 14th right now, um, and just because there's a row and yeah, we won't get to that for a while. How do you rank Brock Pertie this week? After Mike Evans went out, Brock Pertie in the second half, he threw a 35 yard completion on his first pass to George Kittle. And after that, he was three of six for 15 yards and was sacked twice. So where do you, Dave? Where do you rank Pertie this week? I rank Pertie sixth. I still think that he deserves the nod and fantasy starts for how good he's been, how accurate he's been and I'm always going to give the benefit of the doubt to Kyle Shanahan to come up with ways to make, make do with his offense, even if he doesn't have one or two of his star players still has Kittle still as CMC, those guys will get targeted. Christian Kirk could end up being five targets and that can help Brock Pertie out a little bit too. Pertie might even take off and run a little bit and we know that the Santlan is secondary is vulnerable. So I'm still starting them as of now, not a top five quarterback, but top 10. I think to Dave's point, the best example was the Mac Jones games last year. Yeah. No Kittle. The Dibo was, I think, a factor in those games when I'm not mistaken. No, he was on the team. He was on the team. He was on the team. He was kind of born. Had like two. Yeah, right, right. 50 yard games or something. Right. He just was making, dude, but that was Mac Jones with nothing and he was producing at a very high level. McCaffrey was extremely involved in the passing game. And so like Dave said, you know, they'll get production somewhere here. It's a little bit different, like to go back to your first question if Stafford doesn't have his guys. It's much tougher to trust him, not that the offense won't still work, but it's just a little bit more touch and go, I think, as long as the least one of the guys are there being Kittle, you want to factor in McCaffrey as well. That's certainly part of it. But I think there's still enough faith, or at least I have enough faith in Pertie to still start him. Not really have to make him move. Now, if you are concerned, they do have their buy next week. So you might want to start just planning ahead your quarterback anyway. Pertie or Goff from the chat? Goff. Pertie or Murray from the chat? Pertie. Brock Pertie. I'm going to ask you a Christian Kirk at Avon Valey from the chat. I have Valey here. I would go Kirk. And I'm going to ask you this now and we'll get into the games in a moment. You know, a lot of people, myself included, were in three receiver leagues, whatever, were desperate this week. We got injuries. We got buy weeks, all this stuff. And now we've got guys like Christian Kirk. [BLANK_AUDIO] picked up Ted Hurston, two leagues, who are some, who are the best replacement wide receivers right now based on developments this week, Dave? Jaylen Noel is at the top of the list for me. He's been playing well the last several weeks, and he's taking on the giants now. And CJ Stroud is a quarterback. I would start ahead of Brock Pertey, even in Mike Evans plays, but Stroud has been outstanding. Noel's been a big factor for it. And as of yesterday, Noel was still out there in like 60% of leagues. He would be the first name that I would go to. If we're taking upside shots, trade Tucker, we'd make the case, although I think he's rostered in too many leagues. I don't think, I don't think Kendrick Bourne is though, and if we're working under the theory that Michael Wilson is drawing doubles at a much higher rate now than he did when Marvin Harrison was on the field, that's opening things up for Kendrick Bourne. There's evidence of that in the film as well. And in a game where I think Arizona is going to need to throw short, and Denver's going to force them into just getting the ball out quick, that's where Kendrick Bourne can win. I'm not as excited about him as I would be in Jalen Noel, but that's another receiver that you might be able to find off the waver wire and put right near lineup. The first name that I would go to without question would be Mumfield, just because of the absence of Adams, we know as out, and there is no Puka. Last time we saw him play without Puka, he had five for 93 on nine targets, I think it was. I didn't touch down. So that would be the first place I'd go, check him like Washington. If he's available coming off as by week, if nobody picked him up, and he was dropped because he's been 11 PPR points or more in three straight games. You mentioned Kirk. Obviously that's an easy one. You mentioned to her, so that's an easy one. If there's no a Bucca, I'm trying to think there's anybody else. I think that's Cooper's already been picked up in too many leagues, right? Who? Omar Cooper. Oh, yeah. The junior. I was like, Derrius Cooper. Yeah. Derrius Cooper isn't terrible either. If there's no Dantavia and Wix, but he's behind, I think literally every name we've said. All right. Good stuff. Well, let's go to Derrius Cooper and Dallas is at Philadelphia on Monday night and- All for noise? Another one. Full noise? Another one. Yes. It's very full knowing what's going on over there with George Pickens. Dallas at Philadelphia, you're out of the game and this is about George Pickens. CDLAM. CDLAM is a career high, 31.5% target per out run rate. It was 25.8% in 2025 and that is directly related to George Pickens not getting the targets we want, not getting the production we want. And also, George Pickens lines up at left wide receiver, outside wide receiver on the left side, 70% of his snaps and that is where Quinion Mitchell lines up. So I don't think Quinion Mitchell is going to follow him. But if things stay the way they've been, George Pickens going to see a lot of Quinion Mitchell. Philadelphia does allow the fourth most fantasy points to wide receivers. It's typically, it's Stefan Diggs, Antonio Williams, Jalen Coker, Khalifa Raymond, Luther Bird and Pukinacua, Parker Washington, yes, Tedaro and McMillan too. But it's less the outside, guys, like Terry McClure and Roman Dunes, they weren't good, for example. Neither was Adam, so that was more about Adam's dropping balls. So I don't know. I don't see how I can sit George Pickens. But Jamie, just speaking overall, like what I said earlier about, I'm nervous about Tavante Smith. I'm nervous about St. Juan Barclay. I'm nervous about George Pickens. I'm nervous about Dallas Goddard. I'm not starting Jake Ferguson because he's been terrible, like, even though this is Dallas and Philadelphia, I don't know. I'm not really feeling it all that much, are you? And he, like, even Dak Prescott, I feel okay with Dak. But what about you? Like, how do you feel about this game offensively? I think, you know, the game that we got from Terram Mackie. McKee. McKee. McKee. That's right. It should help you feel a little bit better about Tavante Smith and Dallas Goddard. And I know it was a lot of volume, but you would expect if the Dallas offense shows up, then we're going to get a lot of volume again. Now granted, it was Damien Pierce versus St. Juan Barclay, so they're going to hopefully lean a little bit more on Barclay. The encouraging thing, at least for me with Barclay, is that we saw volume to the running back in the past game last week. And that is clearly something where Barclay can win. We haven't seen it in this Philadelphia offense. Good call. Since he's been here, and I think that just kind of speaks to the two previous coordinators, there will hopefully be some of those chances this week, which, look, you have to say, like you said, you have to say, Juan Barclay back, you're starting him unless you're just in such a great spot where you feel great about Chuba Hubbard and Jaylen Warren and those type of guys start over Barclay with whoever else you may have paired Barclay with. I kind of view Barclay like a similar version of Chase Brown. Like, you've got, you're starting him and you just got to hope that this is going to be one of those games. De Monte Smith, again, Dallas Goddard, they got targets last week. I'm going to start them against this defense, Goddard, the low end starter, De Monte Smith, solid number two receiver. And the same thing with George Pickens, like you just said, at this point, you're starting him based on the hope that this will be a shootout, the hope that this will be a game, the hope that maybe what shot and I ever said has motivated him. I'm with you on Ferguson, and then you're starting Laman, Chubante without question. And Dave's right. You know, Dak is still a starter. He's just a low end starter until he starts to play a little bit better. His history against Philadelphia surprisingly is actually amazing, you know, so he's missed a bunch of games in the last five years, but when he's played them only once has he been under 20 fantasy points. So he should have a good floor, if that continues, and you're right, Adam. The interceptions have been a little fluky. The lack of production in the last two weeks has been frustrating, but he's still going to give you volume, and I think that's what counts. And to your point, last week, it was almost a 16% target chair for Philly's running backs from Tanner McKee. And one other thing, what's going to happen now when the Eagles get near the goal line? Yeah, it's Barclay. It's going to be Barclay now. I don't think it's going to be a touche push with Tanner. Maybe it is. You need to change a word in that question. What's going to happen now if the Eagles get near the goal line? They're playing Dallas. They're going to get near the goal line. Did you watch Tanner McKee? I thought he was awful. Like awful. I mean, he can't move, and he can't throw. Other than that, he's great. I'm very nervous about it. I'm laughing because I think you're mostly correct, but also he won't be better because he made a start. He made a start in week 18 last year, and I think he threw 40 passes in that game too. So maybe that's just what they do. But now they have Barclay back. Barclays would run in the ball well this year. I mean, if it's 30 passes, then we're in trouble here. But I can't get away from, I can get away from Dallas Goddard. I don't know how you guys have got it. I think pretty high. Yeah. I like him in full PPR. Plus in half a non-PPR, but I think he's an easy check down guy for McKee. And what McKee's strength is, and this isn't much of a strength for a quarterback, he can read coverage, pre-snap, he can get an idea of where the best place to go with the football is, and then he'll do it. So that quick passing game, we saw it in the preseason. We saw it last week. Tanner McKee can handle that. He can throw with accuracy pretty much all the time on those short throws. It's anything long. 10 air yards downfield, the receiver's going to have to help to make those catches happen like Devante Smith did on his big catch last week. His touchdown catch last week. I think having Sequan back there is obviously a good thing for them. I'd love to see Landon Dickerson back as well and boost that offensive line just a little. But Dallas's defense, there is no reason to be worried about them. And how they'll, how will they match up against Philly and could they rattle Tanner McKee? Man, they haven't been able to rattle anybody. So I think that there could be an incremental improvement for McKee and the passing game in general because of the match up and because Dallas just hasn't been able to piece it together this year on defense. You know, it could be fun. And if you have an open roster spot and superflex or two quarterbacks, at least just pick up Joel Milton and what if McKee's. Well, people have been doing that in deeper superfaces. And they started social. I think if they feel like they can win the division, I think they're going to have to try to make a trade. I just, I can't see them winning with the quarterbacks. But listen, maybe I'm wrong. This is my evaluation of McKee. It doesn't mean I'm right. My prediction is where everyone's going to see him on Monday night football and say the Eagles need to make a trade. But that's just, well, I, I hope I'm wrong. Obviously, you know, I have a lot of Devande Smith. I hope I'm wrong. But let's read some questions here. Would you start Josh Jacobs or Tanner McKee and super? Read the first part. I need more help than Adam Sox. Would you start Josh Jacobs or Tanner McKee and super flex? Tanner McKee. I think I'd go with McKee. Bucky Irving or Devande Smith at Flex. Uh, PPR still goes Smith. I think I'll go Bucky. George Pickens or Kittle or LaPorta at Flex. Kittle. I bet I have Pickens ranked the highest of the three. Uh, cousins. Nope. I don't. It's Kittle. Those are Dac. Dac. Kirk. Jonathan Taylor or Javante Williams, well, Taylor, uh, Jonathan Taylor do or who? Javante. I believe I've JT a little bit higher. Yeah. JT has a tough matchup. No doubt. Uh, they said they want to get the fun game back to back top 10s, but it's, you know, it's Taylor. Um, Pickens. Well, I mean, it's never mind. It's not what I meant. Pickens are Michael Wilson. We're going pickens. Yes. If Lanoi or Malachi fields are going, Lanoi, uh, Ferguson, Parkinson, AJ Barner, rank them. Parkinson, Ferguson, Barner. I'm with you. Flanoi or Jalen Noll? No. Avoid the Flanoi. Dac, press God or Bryce Young? Bryce Young. All right. Any, uh, Dallas, Goddard, let's see, Dallas, Goddard or Kyle Pits, Goddard and full PPR. Dallas, Goddard or Juwan Johnson? Dallas, Goddard. Goddard. Kelsi. Kelsi was healthy. Agreed. And would you start a DST in this game? No, give me, give me gotter over Kelsi. Okay. Now I swear to DST? No. And then I just, I think I've got to talk more about Barclay here and where you have him ranked. Barclay is 13th for Jamie, 15th for Dave and 17th for Heath. So right in the Bucky Irving range, what do you marks for Saquon Barclay? Barclay. I have Barclay a spot higher. I might flip that. All right. So in summary, I think maybe I'm a little more nervous about this game than you guys are. But the thing is like these are guys that you want to start, you have to start them. I don't think you have to start Dallas Goddard. At least they have them top eight. But you have to start Devonte Smith. You have to start Barclay. You have to start Dak and Pickens and of course, I don't think you have to start Dak. I'm using the word half to, it could depend on your roster. But these guys are going to be started. You shouldn't be making roster moves that are drastic to pick up a backup court. Like don't drop somebody to start Cousins over Dak. Yeah. And don't, you know, don't start Brandon Cook's over George Pickens or something like that. All right. Well, take what if it's, what if it's a dead spot on your roster and you can pick up Cousins and use him over Dak? You can. I mean, I like Dak better. So I wouldn't do that to begin with. Right. And I would. Yeah, go. The Eagles, the Eagles defense just hasn't been anywhere near what it, what it's been in the past. They're an average defense that's on the field all the time. They have three force turnovers this year. They get almost no pressure. They have the second few as sacks in the NFL. So it could be a good game for them for the Cowboys. And then hopefully it is. And hopefully the Eagles have to keep pace and throw a lot. And we'll be right back. Speaking of throwing a lot, Green Bay is at Detroit when we come back. Green Bay at Detroit. Dave. I'm not even going to talk about the quarterbacks. They're both top three. Start them. Top two for me. Start or sit Josh Jacobs. I would, I would consider I'm a number two running back. I understand that he's probably not going to get every single touch. And there could be a little bit more easing in for him than we would normally like. But think about how bad this run game is for Green Bay. And if he's practiced all week and these coaches have seen that he looks like even 80% of his former self and he's got fresh legs on top. And we know this Lions defense isn't that great. Then I would expect him to get in the neighborhood of 15 touches. And Josh Jacobs with 15 touches against Detroit fresh legs equals a number two fantasy running back in my book. Okay. So you guys both have I think in the low 20s, Josh Jacobs. So you're starting Woody Marks over Jacobs, right? Would you start Quinch on Judkins against Tennessee or at Tennessee? I'd go Jacobs. Jacobs. How about Vikings running backs? Jacobs. Jacobs was one spot ahead of Jones. Devonte Smith or Jacobs? Smith. Smith. Okay. We'll do some more Jacobs as things go on. I'm sure people are going to have a lot of questions about Jacobs. But excited to have him back. If you want a Scott Turner and I let off reality versus fantasy with Jacobs to and he thinks that he's going to see a good amount of work to ask him over under on 21 touches. And he said under and I think that that's that's pretty fair. So you can get a little bit more insight on Jacobs by finding that show here on YouTube. It's an agency which went to their running backs or an active. It's going to be interesting to see how much they throw the ball. They're one of the most passive teams in the NFL. They have the worst run game in football. How much of that will Josh Jacobs cure? And what was that? What's that going to mean for these receivers who have been two of the best value picks and fantasy? Of course, you're starting both of them. Tucker Kraft this week, we like, even though he's tied in 16 per game for the season, but he's a top eight tight end. I think I asked this. I'm very sorry, but Goddard or Kraft? Goddard pits Kraft for me. Kraft for me. Jamie really likes Kraft. Are you worried at all about Brian Branch coming back for the Lions? It definitely makes them tougher, but you know, still he can't cover the whole field. He's got a lot of guys to worry about. So this is a bad defense in terms of stopping passing games. And so he makes them better, but Kirby Joseph is still out as well. And I still think there's going to be a, I mean, this should be the game that lights up the scoreboard. He also is working back into game shape branches. And I'm not sure what his track record is covering tight ends. I don't know if that's his usual assignment or not. Usually they put them in the nickel. I mean, from what I've seen, tight ends typically don't get covered by a specific player or position. They do when it's man coverage. And this is a team that plays a lot of man to man coverage. But even teams that play a lot of man still play more zone than man. Sure. And also, you know, what type of personal the offense is. And if he's in line, it's not going to be like, there's a guy over the top that's shadowing him. Yeah, right. For sure. Exactly. All right. Anywho, um, the Lions give up the most fantasy points to tight ends. They give up. It's insane. How much production? Yeah, they give up the most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Um, so it's just obviously we like the Packers. We like the Lions. We're starting games. We're starting to starting everyone. It's just James and James and Williams or Josh Jacobs. Uh, Jacobs, but it's close. I have J Mo a little bit higher. Honestly, like this is such a such a easy game to preview. You're basically starting everyone. But Jacobs and J Mo are the tough calls here. And it is worth noting like his target share. I mean, he's coming off a two touchdown game. He had four targets in that game. James and Williams. He's got a lot of downside. So I see if we have any J Mo doesn't, he doesn't get a ton of targets against his own coverage. He doesn't run a lot of routes close to the line of scrimmage. He's got his role. And unless they come out of the by changing it and they did something like that last year. I, I think that you have to be at least a little bit worried. But picking pieces from this game is always a smart choice because it's ice scoring. Okay. Let's read some questions here. If Breeze Hall plays, would you start George Pickens, Josh Jacobs or Braylon Allen? Half PBR. Pickens. George Pickens. Christian Watson or Malik neighbors. Oh my god. Who's between one of them? Watson. I'm taking Malik. I'm going neighbors. Pesibisic Giants fed here. Although again, both starting safeties for the Texans going to be out this week, I think, supposed to be. J Mo. I don't know if that makes any difference for Malik. It's got to make a difference or so. All right. J Mo or Malik Washington. J Mo. Crafter Laporta. Sam. Laporta. Jacob's or Adam Sox, half PPR. They both have posted zeros all season. Yeah. I'd go to Jacob's or something. Jacob. It's the real question. Jordan Love or LeBarr Jackson. That's a great one. I go love, but that's close. I go and I also go love. J Mo are craft. I go crap. I believe I have J Mo higher. J Mo or DK Metcalf. DK. DK. Go for Love and Crafter Laporta. Love over Goff and I go lines. I go love in Laporta. I go L's. Okay. All right. Enjoy the game, everyone. And let's go to Tampa Bay at Carolina. Fun fact. Jalen Daniels is averaged more fantasy points per game than Baker Mayfield. That's in the three starts that Daniel. That's very fun. But your stat of the game, I think Tampa Bay has an underrated defense. Jordan Love, Dak Prescott and Joe Borough all had their worst or their second worst game of the season against the Bucks, who have seen the seventh most past attempts per game in the NFL, but they're 12th best against quarterbacks. Is there any hesitation, David Stark, Bryce Young? He's not a top five quarterback, but he's a top 10. It's based on how much he throws and how aggressive he and the Panthers have been throwing the football. It's based on the two receivers that he has that are both awesome. They're making some numbers with their running backs and tight ends on top of that. The offensive line is healthy. I think that'll buy him an extra second against the blitz at the Bucks will bring. So I don't mind being okay with Bryce Young this week. All right, other than that, the Panthers are pretty easy. Chubah Hubbard's a must start. Chubah Hubbard, I would say this is his toughest matchup. He's had a pretty easy schedule. But last week was also at the time his toughest matchup and he scored 19 fantasy points against the Eagles with 120 rushing yards. We'd like to see him catch the ball two straight games with one catch, but he's still running a ton of routes. You're going to start Teneroma McMillan and Jalen Coker. They're both top 16 guys. Jamie, any interest in either Darren Waller who actually got open for a deep ball? It was a little under thrown last week and or Tommy Trembl, who is 4% rastered. Got to be desperate at this point for either one. I probably would lean Trembl over Waller just based on what the targets have been the last two games, but it's close. You know, Waller's got more upside, but Trembl's a red zone threat for them. Okay, so then let's talk about Tampa Bay here. What's your outlook for the Bucks offense and I actually think if a Buka. Yeah, I think we have some interesting decisions to make Jamie with or without a Mecca Buka here. What do you think? So a Buka plays, I think he's a good number two receiver. He's gotten 25 targets in his last two games. He's got a rushing touchdown over that Spaniard caught a touchdown. He's doing a great job, and now I think they're getting a passing upgrade with Baker Mayfield stepping in for Daniel, so that should help him against the secondary. Bucky Armies a must-start guy, so that's, you know, [BLANK_AUDIO] no matter who's playing for Tampa at this point. If there is no abuka, I think Godwin and Ted Hurst become viable number three receivers and as they alluded to before, K-Dotons and the streaming conversation also. So just keep an eye on what the news is. If abuka plays, I probably would avoid everybody else unless you wanna take a shot on Godwin as a number three receiver if you're desperate because it has to be desperate at this point. It's been under 50 yards receiving every game. You get to score a touchdown. The targets have actually been decent, but you just, you know, not getting anything from him from just a explosive play, touch non-potential type scenarios. So maybe that changes with some of the squeaky will scenario or Baker coming back, but you just can't bake on it. - Okay. And yeah, I think the fact that I had to pick up Ted Hurst and two of these yesterday was an indictment of my fantasy season, so. But look, Baker and him had seemed to have some type of connection and abuka's a target hog. Kate Ahten by the way, Kate Ahten had five or six targets in every game with Baker Mayfield. So he didn't do much with it, but you can imagine if someone is gonna be good, if Baker's out. I think anyway. - Get the book as out. - Yeah, I'm sorry, if abuka's out. If abuka's out and Baker's in, someone's gonna be good. And Godwin I guess would be the best bet here. Okay, Dave, anything to add on the books or do you wanna, should we answer some questions? - Questions. - Okay, gotta read this one. We'll get to that in a minute here. Where I shung, by the way, just facing Todd Bolz, his last four games against him. He's been over 20 fantasy much in all of them. - Okay. - Nice. - Nice. - And two of them came at the end of the last year when Coker got going. If you recall, they didn't play each other. And so it was like week 15, week 18, week 14, week 18. - Something like that, yeah, yeah. - And that's when Coker was healthy and playing well. So. - And that week 18 game decided the NFC South, right? - Yes. - Mike Evans or Ameca Abuka rest of season. - I'd go Abuka. - I think you almost have to go Abuka with the injuries. - God, if both are healthy, it's Evans, no question. - I agree. - Godwin or Michael Wilson. - Wilson. - I would go Godwin if Abuka's out. - Godwin or Omar Cooper, Jr. - Cooper. - Even if Abuka's out, Dave? - Even if Abuka's out. - Baker or Gino Smith? - Gino. - Gino, but that's close. - Is Trevor H. Ann Chuba Hubbard's handcuff now? - No, I'm being. - Is Gainwell Dropable? - Yes. - Yes. - Pick two, Baker Mayfield, Bo-Nix, Michael Penix. - Sitting next. - Agreed. - Best matchup so far for Bo-Nix. We'll talk about that game shortly. - See if that means anything. It might be the best matchup for the other two, also. - Yeah, well, I don't know if I'd call San Francisco a good matchup, but more pass attempts, hopefully. - Yep. - Bryce or Aaron Rogers? - Bryce. - Bryce. - Godwin or Cortland Sutton? - Godwin even. - I'll go with Godwin if Abuka's out. - Adam is a better host than Steve Harvey and Phil Donahue. - Finally. - Finally, the Phil Donahue is what I've been aiming for. - Coker, Jamo, Jeremy Bernard, and I'm guessing Keenan Allen, pick two in full PPR. Coker, Jamo, Bernard Allen. - Coker and Bernard, yeah. - Does Sam know who Phil Donahue is? - Yes. - Yes. - No, the Dan though. - Does Dan know? - I would say no. - No. - No way. - You say no? All right, I'll go, yes, for our dollar bet. - Okay, excellent. All right. - Loser has to wear the socks. - I think that's it for this game. The only thing you throw out the socks. - What's that? - You throw out the sock? - No. - What? - I should, I should. - What? - I should. - I will buy you some new socks. - Please. - Just for the love of everything. - I already bought them. I bought them. - For the love of fashion. - I bought new socks yesterday. I bought these. - Did, I will pay you back for them. - I thought, what's the sentimental value behind those socks? - No, I don't know why I didn't throw them out. I should have thrown them out. - Were they given you by your great grandpa? - Honestly, man, I love bomba socks. You cannot play sports in them. Almost all of my socks have some type of hole in them. It's very, it's shame. - That's why you buy athletic socks. - I know, I thought they'd work. They don't. - Says a guy who doesn't play sports. - Couple things on this game. Please listen to our-- - Now we know why you continue to lose the Dan because your socks are always bad. - Please listen to our Sunday morning show because if a book is out, there's going to be a lot to talk about with this game in terms of who could be a replacement. And Carolinas DST, they've been good like sometimes. And Tampa Bay allows the most fantasy points to DSTs. That's all I would say. Every DST except Dallas has been good against Tampa Bay. Denver is at Arizona. Denver has face teams that currently rank 2nd, 3rd, 17th, 4th, 22nd, and 7th in points per game allowed. The team that ranks 17th is the Rams. The team that ranks 22nd is the Chargers. Arizona is tied with New Orleans for allowing the most points in the NFL. This has been a really tough schedule for the Broncos and by far their best matchup. Jamie, do they get going this week? The Broncos offense. - I hope so. I hope so for the people that draft a Jalen model. I hope so for the people that invested something in J.K. Dobbins, although it could be messy if Jonah Coleman is active. And for anybody that still has to start, Bonix and Super Flex are two quarterback leagues. You hope that this is a game that he can actually look confident and not be scared according to Ryan Fitzpatrick. So this is one of those, okay, if I'm stuck and I have a Broncos player, maybe I pivot to it. I mean, the secondary and what they've allowed for a lot of receivers, it's 10 guys that have scored 12.4 PBR points or more. - Wow. - Like that's insane. That, you know, we're only six weeks into the season going into week seven. So hopefully there's an opportunity for Waddle here to have some success. I can't trust Courtland Sutton. So he'd be the only receiver. And then they should be playing with the lead and should give Dobbins more of an opportunity than Harvey. But we saw last week a direct snap to Harvey, you know, in a goal-line opportunity and he scored. So just keep that in mind. I think Harvey is a flex. The one game where they were playing with the lead two weeks ago, Harvey was basically non-existent in the passing game which sucked. So that's the only I think concern you have with him. But Dobbins in two games since Sean Payton has taken overplay calling duty, has gotten a good amount of carries and has scored in both of those games and a couple of catches as well. So I think he's a, I don't wanna say safe number two receiver but he's in that number two receiver range for really the first time in a long time. Maybe I'll see you. And Dave, you said you'd rather Michael Wilson than Waddle? - I believe I have Wilson ranked slightly ahead of Waddle. - And Jamie said Waddle. - Yeah, not by much, but just based on matchup. And we'll see, it didn't seem like Sartana's gonna play, it didn't seem like Kofongo's gonna play. So that should help the cardinals. But Wilson's just been so frustrating. So he's still a number three receiver, so starting with three receiver leagues. But I agree. - I think there's more upside with Waddle this week. - Who's the best flex option in this game other than Tremac Bride? You've got the Denver running backs, you got the Cardinals running backs without Jeremiah Love, and you've got the receivers we just talked about. - It's the receivers we just talked about. It's Wilson hoping that he gets maybe a little bit more volume or at least catches more of his passes and doesn't just immediately stop, maybe get some yak on top of that. It's Waddle, Jamie really laid it out. The thing that I can't trust Waddle. I've seen so much terrible play from Bo Nex and a little bit of bad from Waddle two if we're being honest. That it's really hard to cannonball into starting him again. I think the Cardinals might have learned something about their defense last week because they blitz Matthew Stafford like crazy. And it worked. That was against Matthew Stafford and the Rams and Sean McVeigh and Puccina Cua. This is Bo Nex in an underperforming offensive line. If they do the same thing and make Bo Nex uncomfortable, you know he's gonna get the ball out super quick. You know he's gonna get sacked. You know he's gonna throw the ball away. He's been gun shy all year long. That's the reason why I have a hard time trusting Jalen Waddle. Now if we had seen for weeks and weeks and weeks that Arizona just didn't have it with their past rush and they couldn't get to the quarterback even if they blitzed a lot, I'd probably feel a little bit better about Waddle. But what we saw last week is a factor for me and that makes me nervous to start Waddle. Top 30 receiver, I'm in. Top 24 or top 20, no way. - I would actually go as the next best flex would be Dobbins just based on you know he's getting carries. - Yeah, I'm gonna make a case here for Dobbins. First of all, he has two to three targets in four straight games. Is that great? No, but he's probably gonna give you a one or two catches. He's got, he has played in three, how is this that? When they've won, when they've been in wins, he's got 17 or more carries in three of the four games and then he left the other game early with an injury. Yeah, okay, I'm sorry. JK Dobbins has 17 to 18 carries in three of Denver's four wins. In the other win, he left early with an injury and he and Jonah Coleman combined for 20 carries. So that's, so if they're four and a half point favorites. - And that was Jacksonville. - That was Jacksonville. - That was Jacksonville, let's fair. What happens if Coleman is active? - That's, yeah, that's the next thing. I mean, it hasn't mattered. It hadn't mattered up until the point where Dobbins got hurt in the week two. You know, Coleman. I think Dobbins has looked bad the last two weeks. I think he's looked, I think he's looked adequate given the opponents and the fact that there was no threat of a passing game. - Yeah, I played the chargers in the Starbucks. He struggled to run the ball this year. They've struggled to run the ball this year. - They write, that's the better way to say it. They have definitely struggled. - No one fears, bonics right now. No one fears this passing game right now. So they're going to see low. boxes and they're gonna see, you know, defenses daring them to throw. So, you know, until that changes and next challenging down the field. So, you know, the shell is even closer. It's, it just lends itself to tough scenarios for Dobbins. But this should be, you know, tried and truth formula, have a lead in the fourth quarter, lean on your back. Ranked the running backs in this game. Dobbins Harvey out here night. I have the same way. I mean, Bamm Knight plays its Dobbins Harvey out here. Night Coleman. Who plays? Jonah Coleman. Oh, I've Coleman plays. Bamm Knight was so much better than Tyler out here last week. It's like, it wasn't even close. But, you know, I, look, I have a, I have a decision, Bamm Knight or Jawan Johnson in a PPR league. And I think. To one. Right, I have to, right? Yes. Yeah. But, Bamm Knight, I mean, look, he got, he got 15 carries last week and two catches. And not only that, he actually played on third down. He split the third down roll evenly with time. Yeah. No, he didn't. It was sent a 15 for Algier on third down. Well, the routes, the routes were even. Routes might have been even, and Algier had like a, not quite 60/40 split in terms of snaps. Algier had an edge inside the 10. So based on just how they, they used these guys last week, Algier has an edge. If we're talking just how did they look last week? I mean, Knight had that long run. Maybe he's got a, you know, he had fresh legs. So maybe he's got a little bit more juice than Algier at this point. It's a factor, but I feel gross starting either one. Let's read some questions here because this game has a lot of like flexi guys. That's good flexi. With Josh Allen on a buy, would you go with Rodgers, Bonyx, Perset, or Mayfield? Yeah, we don't want to start Perset, put that way. Rodgers by a lot. Rodgers. I agree. Would you go with RJ Harvey or Oli Gordon in PPR? Oli Olioxon free. Still Gordon. Coleman Tracy or Bam Knight? I take Tracy Tracy. Why? I mean, like he's facing the Texans, I don't know. I just don't get it because Bam Knight had 15 carries last week. Tyrone Tracy had, I don't even know, eat touches or something like that. Right. I'm going on the hope, and it's hope because it's not like Bam Knight is exactly great. I'm going on the hope that Tracy gets the majority of the touches for the Giants because it's not known right now. And I think he'll catch more passes than Bam Knight will. I agree. I agree. Adam is turning his socks into puppets and going to host the fantasy football show. Yes. Jalen Waddle is the scariest show ever. Jalen Waddle or Jeremy Bernard? Bernard. Jeremy, will your fingers be poking out of the sock puppets eyeballs? Of course. This is one is we're going to go talk or craft over Bam Knight. Jalen Waddle, Xavier Worthy or Jordan Mason PPR. I go Waddle. I go Worthy. I go Worthy if she rises out. Yeah. Yeah. It's contingent on rice being out. Now, if rice plays, Jamie's going Waddle. Dave, Dave, would you go I go Waddle too. I'm going Waddle. Leave the way. Jamie's Waddle. That's what I'm. Yeah. Sorry. Yeah. I'm not going to. I don't want to trust Worthy against Seattle. Sorry. Waddle or Tate? I'll take a tape. RJ Harvey or Kendrick Miller? Harvey. I have Harvey ahead of Miller as of now. That might flip if Coleman is activated. Broncos, the ST or Browns, the ST? Broncos. I believe I've done for hire. I do. Algier P. Ryan or Jonah Coleman? Algier P. Algier. As of now, it's Algier. Bam Knight or a manual Wilson? You'd think we're in by week health with some of these questions. I'll take Wilson. We got to see what Tyler Algier, what uh, Sharwin, Sharwin, his role is going to be. That's why you got to watch on Sunday. And by the way, we're at 1230 on Sunday. When the when there's a football game going on, like people just don't really show up. So the game will be over hopefully by 1230, but 1230 to one. So 830 to 930 and 1230 to one. You know, there is another show that will be on at 12. We do a Sunday pregame show. That'll also be on YouTube. That's produced by CBS Sports HQ. And we do answer fantasy questions there just not as many. Yeah, well, make sure we answer a ton of your questions for that half hour. Colts are at the Vikings. What do we get about 500 questions? The answer last week. That's awesome. I don't know, man. It was crazy. Okay. So we've talked a lot about the Vikings running backs. How are you ranking? How are you ranking the Vikings running backs versus the Broncos running backs? Ahead of, um, no, not ahead of them. I think Dobbins is my favorite right now. Jones, Dobbins, Mason. No, Harvey Mason. I've got a, uh, you would say a Viking sandwich at him because it's Dobbins, Mason, Jones, Harvey. And they're literally back-to-back-to-back in my heart. Okay. So I think for the Colts, it's pretty much just Jonathan Taylor. But if you had to start Keenan Allen or Michael Wilson? Wilson. But I think Keenan Allen is an easy short area target for Daniel Jones to hit. I'll go Allen or Wilson. Like, you know, who else is an easy short area target? Like Devon Veyley. He's had four catches for 26 yards against this team. But Malik Washington had five earlyx ball. Malik Washington had five or 67. Chris Godwin had three for 25. No bears wide receiver had more than 43 yards. Um, Jaden Reed had three catches for 20 yards on seven targets. The Vikings are just so good. And this could be a game. I mean, I'm gonna, I'm gonna be honest here. Over under 150 passing yards for, this is not even a joke for Daniel Jones, 150. I think the only way he goes over that's in garbage time. That's what I'm saying. Like, I mean, they held, they held the guy who came in with the most pass attempts. The NFL took 96 yards. Who would, would you start Tyler Warren if he plays? Yeah. I would, but it wouldn't be with super high expectations. We could you start him over Dallas Goddard? No. I don't even know if the question is with him or worth answering because he hasn't practiced at this week. All right, so let's talk about the Vikings. Kyler Murray or you might be 12th for me. Kyler Murray or Dak Prescott. Dak, Dak. Colts were 23rd against quarterbacks. It just gave up 28 points to Aaron Rodgers recently. So the two, the two like quarterbacks who run against them, two quarterbacks who run who played against them. Lamar Jackson and Mark Margot, both had 35 plus yards. Yeah, it's just, it's a really good setup. Aaron Rodgers or Kyler Murray. Kyler for me, but they're back to back. Rodgers. Is that you asked Rodgers? We have Rodgers over Murray. How about time? I have it. I have Rodgers well ahead of Kyler. Kyler over stuck to. I've got shot one spot ahead of Kyler. Start Jefferson. Do you guys want to start Addison or Hawkinson? No, I prefer not to, but I'd like to rush with them. They're playing Detroit next week. Yes, you know, it could be really good for both of those guys. So just keep an eye on Addison was like in the 70s in terms of his Ross Percentage in Hawkinson was like in the 40s. So, you know, both could still be out there. Yep. And this would be, I mean, this is the first game where we're going to get a healthy everyone unless someone leaves with an injury, but that includes their left tackle, Christian Darisaw, but they're just they have those both running backs. Yeah, you're right. I mean, it's amazing. The injuries they've sustained and they're undefeated. It is crazy. Brian Flores has done a fantastic job in, you know, how this defense has performed and they've managed to win some ugly games offensively, but like you said, you know, last time we saw Kyler against New Orleans 51 rushing yards. And if you can get to his average coming into this year, which was 36, if he can get anything consistently like that, like he's going to be a really good fantasy quarterback. And so this is the first week where it starts this fun run of good schedules. So I'm excited about Kyler. Did you mention Darisaw, Adam? Yeah, I did. Did I miss it? Okay. Sorry. John, it's a very briefly. I mentioned it. All right, San Francisco at it. And just, you know, Ken just mentions a chat for whatever reason. Will Reiker might be the best fantasy kicker. Yeah, he's been really good. All right, San Francisco's at Atlanta. I already gave a stat of the game as about Brock Perty. First pass of the second half was 35 yard completion. Then he went three for six for 15 yards and two sacks. And I, you know, their past project just wasn't that good in the in the second half for whatever reason. But I'm getting I'm getting upset vibes in this game. It's only a two and a half point spread. I am too. I'm getting I like the Falcons. Like they're they're not bad. I didn't like him for the first three quarters last week. Bears did a great job of howling Michael penics. There were a lot of three and outs. Their special teams was terrible. Their defense wasn't great. But then they they managed to hurry things up in the fourth quarter and maybe there's something that can spark them. You know, and the nighter's playing on Monday, flying across the country. This is usually like where teams are ripe for the for the upset. I think I'm wrong here. I think I'm wrong. I think I think the 49ers will be fine. They're going to get both the back. It seems which is good. That would help quite a bit. If you want to hear about Brock Perty, please rewind to one question for each game. He's top six. I think he's sixth for both of you. Start McCaffrey. We finally got a real Christian McCaffrey game. Not that he's been bad. But we finally got the nine catches and the massive usage to touchdowns 30.7 fantasy. They have no choice at this point. Yeah. Yeah. Start Kittle. And Jamie, your thoughts real quick on the 49ers wide receivers, it does not look like Evans is going to play. So I would think that you're gonna see, you know, sort of this hodgepodge of Kirk and Watkins and Brandon, Brandon Cooks, you know, so Kirk and Cooks can get confusing. Kirk and Brandon Cooks, you know, be involved and you know, they'll use second and third tight end options here and they'll probably involve Kalen Black in the passing into like there's gonna be a lot of different moving parts here. So for me, it would be Christian Kirk as the flyer based on George Kiddell talking him up in the post game last week. He's clearly got the most, I have him up, Brandon Cooks has most experience, but he has I think the most upside of the experience guys because I think just Brandon Cooks is shot at this point. But it wouldn't be surprising if one of those guys just has a like four for 58 and a touchdown type of game and that kind of boosts Brock Perty's production and helps the 49ers, but this could easily be a two touchdown game for Kiddell and the touchdown for McCaffrey through the air and Perty's they'll find. So really, the only safe starts are Perty Kiddell and McCaffrey. Perty Kiddell McCaffrey, okay. And then would you start Jahan Dotson or a 49ers wide receiver? Kirk over Dotson. He would be the only one. And Jordan Watson's not someone we're interested in. I see some question about him. We'd go Jalen Nol over Jordan Watson Watson. Muckins. Muckins, sorry, Jordan Wackens. Okay. He played it on last week. He had like a 91% route rate. So I think he's got three targets on the season. Yeah. Might be, I don't know if he's building towards something or not, but this is a matchup where you can win with your perimeter receivers. Kirk or Mumfield? Kirk, if Puka is in Mumfield, if Puka is out. I think I'd lean that way. Michael Panics or Kyler Murray? Murray. I do like Panics. I like Panics more than my home to speak. Oh wow. Okay. Michael Panics or Oh, who did we just talk about? What's the previous game? Jahan Dotson. No. Not a Mumfield. Michael Panics or what the hell was that was, I don't know. We had the Vikings cults. It wasn't that. Maker Mayfield. I go panics. I currently have Mayfield a couple spots higher. Oh, percent. That's how I was going. Panics are percent. Panics are nicks. I'll go for set. Panics next. Panics over both of them. All right. We talked about Kyle Pits. You're going to start. And it's been playing very well. Like it's just the volume has not been there for him. And then we finally saw it. And I think if he had stayed 33 pass attempts. Yeah, well, I don't think we're getting a 50 pass game from him unless they're just, you know, completely obliterated early in the game. No, but this, this is just one where for what it's worth, you're not, you know, making any land decisions, or bees on Rob's not running very well lately last weeks. You know, so they're going to maybe have to throw up. They're chasing. Yeah. The only nine carries last week for Beigeon. Michael Panics, I was trying to say, like, yeah, it's almost seven yards of carry. He's just, he needs more opportunities. I said, they're not running well. They didn't get many. They didn't you're right, which was a little confusing. And some of it had to do with how the game unfolded. Yeah, obviously. No, Panics only 33 pass attempts turn into 29 fantasy points. He's third in the NFL on your, it's per attempt. He's fifth in pass or rating now. Lamar Jackson, Brock Pertie, Jared golf, Trevor Lawrence, Michael Pettex Jr. That's your passing rating leaders. But this fight, this 49ers defense is pretty good. It's been tough on wide receivers. Obviously, you're starting Drake London. And we talked about Kyle pits. He's seven for both of these guys. So you can start him. He doesn't like him as much as in 14th. I just want to say something about London. I said earlier in the week that I would take London over Malik neighbors. And I want to believe that, but I'm looking at London schedule. San Francisco's tough, not unbeatable. Tampa Bay has been pretty tough against number ones. Cincinnati's got DJ Turner, Kansas City, then a buy, then Minnesota. This is not a sit Drake London thing, but it's the next six weeks are five matchups that aren't favorable and a buy week. So I don't know, just feel like relevant information. I love the guy. I mean, I think I love the I love everything about the I just I don't know if I think if you can get good form. Sure. But I don't know. Maybe I'm talking myself. Maybe I'm just being stupid here because he's so good. Yeah, right. You're not giving him up for nothing. And he's so heavily targeted. I mean, 10 or more targets in three or four games with Pettex. Okay. That's it for the show. We have an arrest. Niners. Yeah, Anthony Richardson. Yeah. Yep. Marijuana possession. Niners DST is in play as well. They're top 12. They're usually pretty good. They struggled with this year against Arizona and Denver. But Atlanta Atlanta's bad against DST's, but much of that was there to have been so bad since Pettex came back, but right. I see if we have any questions for this game. And if you're again looking ahead and you want to move on for the 49ers, I don't buy next week. Christian Kerker Valle. Right now currently Valle, but I would consider Kerker. It's Valle for me. Christian Kerker Addison. Same. I think Addison has more upside. Addison or Corrin. Addison. Addison. Pretty or Kyler. Brock. Pretty. And we answered that one earlier with four points. Probably. All right. Thanks, guys. Great job. Good job. Have fun. All right, weekend. Yeah. Yeah. Good. Mailbag in 30 minutes. What is it? I'm not going to move. They know what? Who was it? Oh, Phil Donnie. Phil Donnie. Yeah. No chance. But let's just continue this. So we got what are the other like 80s, 90s talk show hosts that he made me tell you, Jesse Raphael. There's no chance. Ricky Lake. There's no chance. Coral though. Could he name anybody on the view? Yes. Right now? No. Yes. No. A hundred percent. Oh, okay. I love it. Wait. Wait. Wait. Is Whoopi still on the view? Does he even know who Whoopi Goldberg is? Does he know who Whoopi Goldberg is? That's what you say. No, Adam. I've heard of her. I know her if I saw. He definitely knows who Whoopi Goldberg is. I can't hear anybody else on the view, but I know the Whoopi's on there. Phil Donnie, who you say know, I say yes. The view. Anybody in the view? You say no. I say yes. Okay. Yes. I love it. He's gonna be like, wait, I know Whoopi Goldberg. I know where if I saw her. Oh, yeah, I know her. Yeah, yeah. All right. We'll talk to you all on the mailbag and have a great weekend, everybody. FAQs

AJ Brown is showing signs of recovery with some burst and quickness in his routes, though his speed has diminished since his injury. Expectations should be lowered, and he may not be at his peak form. He's expected to see more playing time in shootout games where volume can carry him.

The Bears' offense showed strong performances from Luther Burden and Colson Loveland, with Loveland making a standout play against a strong defense. Caleb Williams had a productive game with back-to-back 300-yard performances and showed improved legs in the red zone.

Ramondrae Stevenson remains a productive fantasy running back with a consistent role, especially in high-volume situations. While he's not a top-tier option, he's expected to contribute significantly in games where he's given the ball, particularly on third downs and inside the 10-yard line.

The Lions' defense is weak, especially against the passing game, making it a favorable matchup for fantasy runners and wide receivers. Josh Jacobs is considered a top-tier fantasy option due to potential increased touches and fresh legs from practice.

Without Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay's offense shifts focus to Christian Godwin and Ted Hirsch as viable number three receivers. Godwin is seen as a better fit in a passing-heavy game, especially with Baker Mayfield stepping in, offering more opportunities for explosive plays.

Neither Barkley nor Jacobs are primary starters in this matchup. Instead, Devonte Smith and Saquon Barkley are seen as more reliable options due to the expectation of a shootout and volume. Dak Prescott remains a low-end starter due to inconsistent performance, but volume is expected.
