The show provides a detailed fantasy football preview for Week 7, focusing on key injuries, matchups, and player performance trends. Pukin' N' Kooa’s injury raises concerns for the Rams’ wide receiver depth, with Kanata Monfield and Colby Parkinson as potential flex options. Caleb Williams and Colson Loveland shine in the Bears' game, while Luther Burton shows promise as a consistent, high-efficiency receiver. The Patriots’ offense is highlighted by Ramondra Stevenson’s explosive fantasy performance, though it stems from a poor offensive line and questionable coaching. AJ Brown's slow return from injury is a major red flag, with limited targets and poor results undermining his value. The Raiders’ Ashton Gentie remains a risky but viable option due to his receiving volume, despite poor rushing efficiency. The Giants’ backfield is unstable, with Cam Scatibu and Tyrone Tracy both facing uncertainty, making the Texans a strong competitor. The Chiefs’ defense, which has not allowed a receiving touchdown all season, presents a major fantasy challenge. The analysis also touches on key trade dynamics, including potential moves for Jonathan Taylor and the impact of poor defensive schemes. Overall, the week features high-risk, high-reward matchups, with injuries and inconsistent performances shaping player viability. Fantasy managers are urged to prioritize depth, flexibility, and matchup advantages, especially in games with strong defensive units or injured key players. The show concludes with a reminder to stay updated on injury reports and schedule strength, particularly as playoff positioning becomes more critical.

Because there's a lot of afternoon programming time available and we'll end up, you know, obviously people are being more social on Friday Saturday. They go to bars. Bars have ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN News, ESPN Something else on. So you usually get some good text messages on Friday afternoon or evening being like, "Hey, I'm watching you. "Yah, who's talking about the football? "What could be better than that?" And my answer would be if Pukin' N' Kooa would actually play on something. - Okay, that's a great answer. - Yeah, yeah. - I was just trying to segue it here. - Yeah, let's get there, baby. - You created your own segue. - Big news. Yeah, nothing wrong with that. Big news about this. I'm Pukin' N' Kooa, obviously. Feel, go ahead and take it away. - Yeah, so Pukin' N' Kooa. Rams-White receiver, of course. Left practice early yesterday with a calf injury. There was a port in this morning for me in Rappiport that it does not sound like a significant injury. That's good news. But we don't know whether he's going to play on Sunday or not. And of course, this comes just days after we learn that Devonthe Adams is out for somewhere between six and ten weeks. There's a chance we don't see Devonthe Adams for the rest of this regular season, correct, especially with the Rams now at two and four. Like yesterday, master the art of the if, then, steam. - He did. - He nailed it. - Yes. Don't watch the tape. It's right. Do not break down the tape. We actually burned it yesterday. So there's no tape to watch. But let's talk about this Rams-White receiver room, which is going to be my conversation starter anyways for the Devonthe part of the show later. Because of the Pukin' N' Kooa. Let's just do it right now. - Let's do it. - Pukin' plays. Obviously you're playing it. - You're playing Pukin' N' Kooa. - If Pukin' N' Kooa plays, then I don't have confidence in any Rams-White receiver besides him to be a 10 team league starter. He would be a flex player in a 12 team or a larger league. - Agreed. - And that name for me. And it's a little bit of kind of just like spinning the wheel and seeing which player you land on. I've included my answer is Kanata Monfield. He had a moment, a big game actually, against the Broncos. That was a week in which Pukin' N' Kooa was unavailable. If Pukin' N' Kooa sits, then I think Kanata Monfield jumps up and that's just my guess here. I guess two two at well, but I'm going to land on Monfield, would creep into flex territory in 10 team leagues. - Agreed. - Would you say with anything with the tight ends at that point as far as possible? - I think they're out on Monfield. - Yeah, I think a little more appealing the problem is it's like, which one are you picking? It's like waxing on the side. - Kind of like the same thing we're doing here, yeah. - I think my preferred is Colby Parkinson. He was not, it seemed like, first of all, late last season, stretch run of the year. He was there top receiving tight end by far into the playoffs. This year, it seemed to start out that way. It was going to be him in turns Ferguson, Ferguson gets hurt, then Parkinson gets hurt. He came back. They kind of worked Tyler Higby and more, but it started to even out a little bit more last week with Parkinson. So who actually out targeted Higby in that game. So if I'm picking one as like a, I'm in a tough spot at tight end, I'm leaning Parkinson and then Higby, but both are top 20 tight ends in that scenario. - Yeah, they're more tight end is a little bit more of a coin flip. Kanata Monfield does feel like the more next man up as far as the wide receiver, I think they're both that. But I hope to take a look at CJ Daniels too. He got a little off season, hype sixth round rookie, but hasn't been active. I don't think he's been active at all. He certainly hasn't played, but I'd be nice to see what they have in him because if not, they're probably going to be shopping for a wide receiver because they're going to need some help. - Very intriguing. And by the way, the trade deadline in general this year should be awesome in the NFL. It's become a more trade heavy league. And there's a lot of players and I will continue to point to Brian Thomas Jr. as the most obvious malcontents. Well, I shouldn't say malcontent. The most obvious wide receiver who's very talented and hardly being used at all, but how about the rumblings? Yes, they're reporting yesterday that several teams have already called the cults on Jonathan Taylor. I think early next week, because he's not going anywhere this weekend, but we should play a little game of fantasy matchmaker next week on the show. Best spot for Jonathan Taylor and other potential trade candidates. - Quick update on Lamar Jackson. He was limited at practice as well. We just like being able to see him be limited, not falling backwards to a DNP. So we're going to keep an eye on that one. - And the Ravens have taken to social media, like they have posted Lamar video, which make of that what you will, but you can read in that a little bit, probably a sign that they think there's a real chance he plays on Sunday. - I write into it and I put it back in the projections. - Like it. - I suspect he'll play. All the tea leaves suggest. He'll be back this week. - Love that. All right. Let's talk about Thursday night. Football. Patriots and the Bears. This was a really fun game guys across the board. Are we back in? Let's just start with the Patriots. They didn't win this game, but I would love to start with them. Are we back in on Drake May, being a top three quarterback rest season with what we saw now here this week? - He was our QB1 this week. So yes. I think so. Yeah. I mean, Josh Allen will be back next week. He'll be QB1, but May, you said this before the show too. You feel like he's your number two quarterback again. He's certainly very much in that conversation. I would, I'd buy that for sure. - At the very least, he's in the conversation with Brock Verde and Lamar Jackson right now. No doubt. I don't know if you guys feel like there are other obvious candidates, but those are the two guys that come to mind for me. One of those three players feels like the best bet to finish as quarterback two for the rest of the season. We also agreed, by the way, that I mean, I shouldn't say we agreed. I posited once again, prior to the show, I think we discussed this yesterday on the show itself. I think we looked, we may have, we may very well have watched the two best young quarterbacks in the NFL. - Yeah. - Like for the next 10 years, there's a chance that the two quarterbacks that return the most total value over the next decade, Drake May and Caleb Williams, both were awesome last night. Drake had his once a week dumb dumb play, which is when he picked off by DeMarco Jackson in the end zone. But more than made up for it with yet another monster fantasy night, 27.44, he's got a real chance to be QB1 for the third time or weeks. - He made a real silly play on that interception, but he got so much good luck on that Ramondra Stevenson end of the half touchdown. - That was wild. Unbelievable. - And he was thinking the same thing, right? So we actually, Mike already said he was thinking the exact same thing that I mentioned, also prior to the show, which is end of the, end of the half, 48 yards. - Something like that, yeah. - So far enough where you're not going to attempt to feel goal. But also one of those where, yeah, you can try to hail Marriott, but the Patriots offensive line is in shambles right now. They couldn't hardly protect for much of the first half. So the Patriots went with the old, we'll just dump it off, and as I'm watching, I'm thinking of myself, man, like Ramondra Stevenson is about to get like 2.5 or 3.5 extra games. I'm sick of that. They're just bonus points. I probably get a 15, 20 yard gain, 25 yard gain. And instead Ramondra is Stevenson, how's call? - Ramondra takes it to the house. Ramondra takes it all the way. - Ramondra takes it all the way. - So that's 11.8 fantasy points, if my math, my quick math is correct. - Yeah. - At the end of this week, if you have Ramondra or your facing Ramondra, and you either win or lose by 11.8 fantasy points. - That's because of that place. - No. - The truth is that it's what coaches always talk about. When a kicker misses a field goal as the time expires, it wasn't just that play, right? It cost us the game. But that's going to be a really memorable play for the next four days here until week seven is officially over. So I used to always wonder why teams didn't set up like a screen in that situation where all the DBs have a goal. - Everyone has a way back. - Yeah. - They set up like a kick return, basically. - Sure. - And that's essentially what happened. - Yeah. The disaster class for the Bears didn't end up costing them the game. But guys, what on earth is going on with AJ Brown, Daniel? - No idea. I have no idea. We talked about this a little bit. I understand coming back from a high ankle sprain. Maybe it's like we're trying to get him back into rhythm, but the problem is that's not his hands. His hands are the problem. It's not everything else that he's doing. So when you look at the situation with AJ Brown, guys, the YouTube stream is so good. When you look at the situation with AJ Brown, I don't know how I don't play him, but these first two weeks back have felt almost as bad as they could just from when you're watching
with your eyes. AJ Brown has just been tough. I, you know, respect, it's, it's a, it was a significant injury he lived at an IR. Of course. This isn't an injury to me anymore. This is a what on earth is going on. Like, this is AJ Brown. Yes. This is the first round pick. The Patriots traded this off season of Mike's Eagles. Like, this is quickly becoming one of the most disappointing players in fantasy football. Yeah. No doubt. You know, and this was a guy that was generally upset if he wasn't getting a bazillion targets of game. And I mean, they're, he's trying to get it to him. He's trying to get it to him, certainly in the first game, he had double digit targets this time. Only six out of his 31 throws went his direction. So I don't know. He's not going to be happy if he doesn't get rolling soon, but it's definitely concerning. We were talking about coming into this, that how pumped we were I was at least at Drake May's deep ball in the way that AJ Brown is such a good deep ball receiver. We just haven't seen him materialize at all when they've been healthy in the way that we want to. I'm just, if we don't get back to that, I don't think that I'm not, I'm not yet benching AJ Brown, but I'm not feeling good about what I've seen the first two wheels. I'll say that. And also to put it in the Patriots, I think we can safely say that while you don't really want to start either running back, it's pretty clear, like the better bet to have an okay fantasy night is Ramon Drake, absolutely. And Henderson is basically a non factor in this office. Yeah. He has Corey Kiner stealing some of that role too. At least some of the handful of carries he only played. I believe, excuse me, four snaps, but a three, four carries in the game. So he's stealing just enough to kind of render Henderson useless. Let's talk about the other side guys. Caleb Williams looked fantastic over three. Three hundred yards, two touchdowns, 17 rushing yards, 22 fantasy points. And he got two of our guys involved in a major way, Colson Loveland, 12 targets. Beautiful. I think it'll be a lineup block next week, seven, seven catches for 69 yards in a touchdown, 19.9 fantasy points, clear number one target in this offense. He's back. He's back. Kale's back. And he's back. Colson Loveland almost once he had had a second touchdown line. I know. Dude, they're trying. Yeah, it feels like. Yeah. They don't need to try very hard with Luther Burton though. They just need to put the ball on his hands and then Luther Burton can just do the rest himself. Guys, the past two games he now has 12 targets for 12 catches. So 12 catches. Yeah, seems very good. He has a touchdown in each of those games as well. Actually, last week, there was no touchdown, but 12 targets, 12 catches, 225 yards. I test Nate, like who are the more explosive players in Luther Burton in the NFL right now? JSN. I think he's more explosive than, than Luther Burton. No, I'm just. He's better football player right now. I was earned in Validin saying like, I don't know, I'm more explosive. I don't have a, I don't have a good metric for that, but he certainly looks explosive. Is there somebody that comes to mind? I'm, I'm not saying he is unquestionably the most explosive player in the NFL, but he's got to be up there, man. He's the twitchiest. I think B. John and Jumir Gibbs are going to come to the ball. But I was trying not to pick a running back. Like, I was trying to talk about another wide receiver that you had thought about. I don't think Jamo was up there. But like, I think Luther Burton is, is twitchier and more explosive than him. Jamo's faster. Right. Yes. Luther might be more explosive. Whatever. This is just a testament to how much I enjoy watching Luther Burton with the football in his hands. And Mike, unlike last week when he was really a part-time player, he saw snaps go up last. Yeah. Up to 60%. But just still kind of low for a guy that, you know, at least last night put up the numbers of an elite wide receiver. Only four targets in this game too. So we need to see that be a little more consistent because you're not going to continue to catch 100% of your target. So if he cut two or four, you know, it's going to be a bad fantasy day. And keep in mind, this was his first top 12 fantasy week of the season. So I want to see a little more consistent usage from him from him in order to get him to the next level. But you look the part. He certainly looked the part in this one in a good offense. So he should be fine. Last thing. And then we can move on from the bears. Roma Dunes a the clear number three pass catcher. It seems like in this offense still enough. You think within this what Chicago is going to be that he'll be on the flex radar for you guys because of how explosive this offense can be close close. I think for now we will see what bi weeks look like and we needed two weeks with Caleb to decide whether we're going to make a final judgments on these guys as in or out. We need more time on Roman. You're great. We're in on Colston leveling. We're back in on Luther. Burden. Roman Dunes. They have some work to do. But definitely not droppable. All right. He's a flimsy. Flex start. Guys, we're talking about a handful of teams today. I want one. I'm going to give you a quick tribute question. Oh, there's only one team in the NFL that has yet to allow a receiving touchdown to a wide receiver in the NFL. Not the Vikings. We're going to talk about today. Oh. That's just a teaser. Oh, I'll tell you the answer. Yeah. Well, if you think you know it, then give it to me. You said the sea. Wow. You keep thinking about it. Chiefs. While you guys are thinking about it, we're going to dive into the raiders. The beginning of our week seven preview, part two reminder, teams on by bills, jacks, chargers, and commanders, starting with the bus and panthers, but you're having back at practice. He's a lineup lock. As is a mecca. Abuka. We got Chuba Hubbard, Tederall McMillan and Jalen cocker on the other side, Mike, a mecca book. It was seen working on the sideline with traders. Yeah. During Thursday's practice. How are you feeling about it? I feel like I don't know right now. So let's say it's a lineup lock, but we have to keep an eye on this. He is the coming back from the concussion. It seems like he's at practice so probably can clear the protocol. We don't know for sure. We'll see, but the back injury as well. So we don't know if we're going to have him. I'm going to focus on the if we have him. I don't need it then for this. No, you don't have to. If we have him, he's a lineup lock, right? Back to back at game 52 yards and a touchdown, two weeks ago and seven touches. Last week, seven more touches. Also scored a touchdown at 48 yards this time around. We'd like to see more yardage, but the scoring has been there and the heavy usage has been there. Now, when coming out of the gates this year, it was kind of a struggle, right? He was like, he had a decent floor, but I didn't reach 12 fantasy points in any of his prior, not just earlier this year, but 12 straight games, which 12 straight games under 12 fantasy points before hitting 17 each of the past two weeks. So it was a 26% target share on the season. That's good. 16 targets last week was a career high for him. But keep in mind, these back-to-back good games were with Jalen Daniels. We do expect Baker Mayfield to return for this game. And he's averaging 10.9 fantasy points per game with Mayfield this year. Excuse me. You okay? You okay? Yeah, you look. I told you this time of year, allergies get me. I took an allergy pill, but it's I'd just like to say he's, he's, he's, uh, he's choked up because he started Ramondra Steven. It's I feel that that's not what I wish it was that. I think I, if I remember correctly the last time this happened, it was also on a Friday. And I think he's trying to set a precedent that maybe like allergies always come around on a Friday. So he can eventually get a day off. Yeah, I just get a day off on a Friday. I think that's what's happening. No, I don't know. I don't like it. It feels bad. But, uh, this time of year, it'll go away. No, it won't. It'll only get worse. No, it's going to get better because I took an allergy pill. Oh, okay. Okay, okay. Got it. Uh, the Panthers are still down their top two corners in Devante Smith last week, seven for 75 and a touchdown in that game. So Ibuka, if he's active, I'm starting him if he's not, obviously, we're going to pivot to no one else, be Ted Hearst or upgrading Chris Godwin a little bit. Although he hasn't been productive this season. So, uh, it's a tough spot if Ibuka's out for guys to tell you guys that when I picked the Patriots, when yesterday, my allergies were acting up. So I just, I picked the bears. I meant to say bears, but my allergies got the mic. Mike didn't say this. We do expect Baker Mayfield to be back. What a minute here here. Well, I don't grab a water. No, why don't you go get Michael water? Yeah, we'll do that. We'll do that. You have water right there. I have water. I have water. Okay. I promise I'll be better in a few minutes. Okay. Here. Daniel, I sound like Tyler did on Sunday. That's yes. All right. Mike, bury the lead. Expect him to be back. We do. Um, I don't think anything's going to change. I'm not ranking anyone any differently. If Baker may feel it's about not back there, I'm still ranking a mecha Ibuka the same with Baker being back there. I'm not starting him this week. If I can help it, anything you want to add on the Carolina studs. I would love to. Okay. Tell me more. Tyler Macmillan and Jalen Coker are both awesome. Did you guys know that? I didn't. I'm both. As a reminder, in the three healthy games he has this year, feeling cocker is wide receive a three in fantasy points for me. Wide receiver four and targets per game. Tyler Macmillan throughout the whole season, because he's been healthy the whole season. It's a wide receiver five in points per game. These two dudes are unbelievable and crushing, implied total here is 45 and a half, 44 and a half excuse me. So it's middle of the pack. But I mean, I'm both of them. They're going to be top. Yeah. Probably 15 wide receivers for us this week. No question. We can talk about the Rams and the Raiders next after we picked this game. I got the Panthers. I'm taking the Panthers, too. I am picking the Panthers in this one. No one's taking the bucks here, huh? Ducers. The Ducers are on the Panthers as well. A big game for Tampa to get back in this divisional race. All right. Mike gets another minute here. Take your time. I'm okay right now. You're better? Okay. Hopefully. We'll see. Because we're doing Rams and Raiders next and you're not part of this preview. Okay. We need more of this. We'll just go take a nap. We're like, oh great. He's like, stop talking. Please. Let's talk about lineup blocks and Rams and Raiders. I just have to go to the medical tent, you know, for the Rams. We got Matthew Stafford, Kyron Williams and Pukin Akua, who we talked about at the top of the show for the Raiders, Ashton Gentie and Brock Bowers, guys, field. We already kind of talked about the replacing Devante Adams conversation as well in the top of the show. Yeah. If then, yes. So I think we've got that one covered. Let's talk about on the other side. Uh, anyone else, we've already done that. We're starting the running back and that's it. Oh, I'll ask you, Daniel. Yeah, for the Raiders. For the Raiders. For Ashton, Jenny. You know what? It's kind of tough. Let's talk about this. I'll tell you why. 32 points in week one against the dolphins. That was so much fun. If we all remember that, he scored one touchdown in five games since then. And if you take out that explosive week one, he's averaging 13.5 fantasy points per game over the last five games, which would be running back to 13. Surprisingly, that doesn't that feels like such a gross number, but still running back 13 is fine. Sure. Most of that came via the receiving game in those five games. We're taking out the big week one in those five games. The last five is played. He scored 40%.
percent of his points via the rush. 40% for context is ranked 39th out of a qualified 39 running backs. That's how inefficient he has been. Zero touchdowns and 2.8 yards per carry over the last five games. That's terrible. Here's the optimism. He's been getting a lot of it through the receiving game. The Rams have allowed the fourth most receiving yards to wide receivers and the eighth most receptions, sorry, fourth most receiving yards to running backs and the eighth most receptions to running backs. So even though it's been bad on the ground and I don't expect the efficiency to get much better, there is some optimism that maybe that passing game volume can continue and you can be a little bit more efficient there. Rams have only allowed for rushing touchdowns. Don't expect a lot of touchdown equity here. So it's kind of where we've been, honestly, with Ashton Gentie the last couple of weeks. I'm still starting him. There's reason why we have a little bit of optimism because of the receiving game work, but I'm still not super pumped about the rushing game. I can kind of make, if you put me in court, I could probably argue both sides of the Ashton Gentie case here. Because I was a little bit of an Ashton Gentie skeptic coming into the season and the point that I kept hammering home was, yeah, the offensive line is better, but are we sure it's that much better than he's going to be looking like Derek Henry 2.0 was a runner? The answer is no, not even close, right? But what I didn't know was how much Cliff Kubiak, Clint Kubiak, there's a lot of Kubiak. Yeah, sure. Clay Kubiak, flying Kubiak, working in scouting in the NFL, they're all kind of Kubiak. Probably Klaus Kubiak somewhere out there, right? For me, yeah. Anyways, I didn't know how much you would tap into Gentie as a receiver. The fact that he has been utilizing him as a designed receiver is incredible. And it's not like good to go anywhere. There's very little reason for the Raiders to adjust the way they have been utilizing Ashton Gentie. There is a world in which Ashton Gentie becomes a more efficient runner going forward, right? Just be really good at football for us at that. He gets healthier, the offensive. Line Jail's a little bit further. He breaks a couple more explosive runs. Yep. On the other hand, if he's going to continue to rush for two and a half, three yards to pop, then it's like it's hard for me to have him ranked any higher than where I have him now, which is exactly 14th. So tough matchup as well. This Rams defense, even with all the injuries, I still think is a good defense. I'm picking the Rams in this game. I'm taking the Rams as well. I'm going Rams as well. Yeah. Wow. What about producers? Anyone going out on the limb? No. If Rams have to win. I mean, if Pukka Nukuah plays, then would you guys change your pick? I'm taking the Rams either way. Matt Stafford gets it done. This team is too good to be two and four, two and five if they lose this. So they have to win. Yeah. I would say no, even if Matthew, even if Pukka Nukuah doesn't play, I'm still taking the Rams. All right. Let's go Giants and Texans. Let's do it. A couple of line up blocks in this one's guys. Malig neighbors, Isaiah likely for the Giants, CJ Stroud, Nico Collins on the other side. We saw adult and Shultz back at practice on Thursday for CJ Stroud and that Texan squad, Jay Jamacarthy, my friends are going to get the start here this week. As a reminder, last week, Jay Jamacarthy played the fourth quarter alone, came in and replaced James Winston scored 16.5 fantasy points, 243 passing yards, one touchdown, one interception and 28 rushing yards. In that quarter, Malig neighbors had five catches for six targets and 102 yards, 15.2 fantasy points. Isaiah likely had two catches for 44 yards and a touchdown, 14.4 fantasy points all in the fourth quarter alone. If you extrapolate that over a four quarter game, guys, Malig neighbors should be projected for 60.8 points. Mike, what do you have his projection at? Not that, not quite that. Not quite. 60.8. No, it's like in the 50s, I think. I just think they'll roll them back. I don't look. I'm not a hot take guy, but I don't think Jay Jamacarthy is going to throw for like 900 yards. All right. All right. So this week, maybe over the next four games, but everything could not have worked out any better in that fourth quarter for us from a fantasy perspective. Seriously, for this week, I'm still in on these guys. Obviously, both Malig neighbors, Isaiah likely are must art line of blocks. So if you make the same mistake twice, it's more about you, not the person or the subject that you're making the mistake on, right? Shame on you. Okay. First, shame on me. Second guy. Okay. Yeah. That's not it. Only once shame on you. Fool me twice. Shame on me. There we go. Yeah, yeah. That's it. Anyways, Jay Jamacarthy, I made this mistake last year thinking like, yeah, you know, Jay, Jay, if you look at their schedule down the stretch, he had a pocket of games in 2025. Yep. After he got healthy again, we were like, I mean, he gets like the cakeiest matchups imaginable. He had the Cowboys one week on Sunday night football and actually played pretty well. But otherwise, it was kind of disappointing, much like his entire Minnesota tenure. But I'm going back to the well. And here's why this week matters to me, not so much. Well, I'm not starting him on Sunday against the Texans. No Texans to defend not nearly as dominant. But I still think there's enough talent for them to be a stiff test or Jay Jamacarthy in this giant's offense. If you can zoom all the way forward to week 16 and 17, Jay Jamacarthy gets the Lions and the Cowboys and back to back games to conclude the menacee football season. Now it would take some fortitude to bench whoever the starter is that you have leading you to the semi finals and finals probably to go on and play him. Yes. And play him in favor or play Jay Jamacarthy in favor of that player. But in a world in which Jay Jay plays pretty good football or, you know, football with confidence over the next. What's it now week seven? Yep. So nine, ten weeks. Then tell me this out of the intriguing player to stash with two studs at the tight end and wide receiver position. Guys, he's got two superstars. Yeah. So guys, a good time to mention this yesterday. I did a little upgrade to the strength of schedule, uh, cheat sheet of that. And I added the next four weeks. Okay. And the playoffs, the fantasy playoffs. Sorry. So you could see that PDF I put it on social yesterday, uh, giant schedule for quarterbacks year to date so far, easiest, the season six, the easiest next four weeks, fifth easiest, fantasy playoffs to your point. Second easiest. Wow. Who has the easiest one at the easiest switch for which play category? Uh, the playoffs Vikings is old team. So Tyler, we talked about him on sleepers a couple days. Is there any, if you go look at the hardest quarterbacks in the playoffs, just as you look at it, right? Okay. In the party, like, uh, Bryce Young is the has the hardest. So that's a guy Patrick Mahomes is fourth hardest. Uh, the jets, you know, uh, eagles. That's that'll be Tanner McKee at this point. Uh, rock parties on the hard side, but I don't think we're mentioning. Uh, third hardest is Jaden Daniels. Okay. So there could be some streaming opportunities for sure. Yeah. If you have any of those quarterbacks, or just in general, if you think JJ has a chance to get his career on track, we've seen in 17. This is interesting. Yeah. Now it would help if he had a competent running game. Help tremendously feel would. Um, it would. So if the question is, how are we handling the giants running back this weekend? The answer is by letting them watch the game from the bench. Yeah. We don't have to start a bunch of them, right? Not, not like a repeat of last week. No, no, like, like in fantasy, our fantasy benches. Um, if you're looking for science of hope, looking for science of hope, one would be that Najee Harris is no longer a giant. Yep. And just widows down the backfield seems like, seems like the giants plan to do, I don't know about a 50 50, a 1a 1b, primary back, change of pace back, but it seems like it's going to be cam scatibu and Tyrone Tracy. That handle the work this weekend would seem that way. That would seem to be it's tough feeling confidence starting either of those players though. And the great, the Texans, the defense can be good. And all of a sudden, the offense can be really good. So the giants could be playing catchup mode. And we have seen that cam scatibu has been a relative non factor in the passing game. I think we were. You guys tell me if I'm wrong, audience tell me if I'm wrong. I think we're all hoping we're wrong. You said it on me. I think we're all hoping that this eventually becomes, we kind of revert back to form with cam scatibu at the beginning of the year. Enough volume. You get improved efficiency and some touchdowns and he hangs on is like sort of like where Quinshun Judkins would be for me value wise right now. Yeah, maybe it's also possible that John Harbys just kind of not interested in leaning heavily on him. And he just feeds away and doesn't have much of a role. I don't know. That's the risk at least starting him this week because you mentioned tracing scatibu. If they're an obvious passing situations, they've used single Terry in that role this year too. So this could be a three headed attack. And I would very much like to avoid it. Okay. So. Well, I think what we all want though. I was saying. I was only one. Yes. I'm just I'm just saying that's a risk of going back to the well with scatibu. Oh, no, no. Like was just being the analytical. I know that's what you want. But here's the problem field. That's what it was. I didn't say I'm expecting this. I just said I think we all agree. That's what we want. That's what we can't scatibu settles back in. We're not expecting him to be a top eight running back. But if we can get him back into like the RB 20 conversation, it would feel like a reasonable salvaging of his otherwise unremarkable season. Agreed. I'm with you on that. We got taken in this game. Dexons. I'm taking the Texans as well. Texans. They're talking about the producers producers taking the Texans. All right. Weep. One team is in first place. One team is tied for. I guess. I guess. Third danger. Yeah. Let's dive into the mailbag friends. Taking a couple of questions here again. I shout out to our buddy, Eric Moody, follow him on social media at Eric and Moody. Sean, she wants to know. Emmanuel Wilson is he good to drop now that sharps his back? We had this conversation a couple days ago. And I would say you might well be a week away, but I wouldn't do it yet. I would just to be safe. If you can, yeah, depends on my options, I guess. I want to take this right down to game time. Essentially, I'm not afraid to cut. I'm loose before the game, but I want to just, I'm holding tight for now. He's fine to leave on the bench. I think I just want give it a week for a variety of
And including if Charbonne has a setback or he comes out and he doesn't play much in struggling or something like that Then you don't you want to be able to have Wilson one of the reasons that you can justify cutting on loose though is that last week He wasn't the clearly back anymore. They were using two other guys with a three-headed attack So even if Charbonne is like, okay, set back. He's out for a month. Are you do you feel super confident? Definitely job if you need the spot without yeah, exactly. Yeah, if you need it I'd still like to hold on though if I could I would like to just another week I'm not afraid to give it a week But yeah, Seattle is on the team to watch lists over the next three weeks because First of all, I mean they got a win on Sunday to make the season matter There are three in three with chief Sunday night Bears the following Monday night both games in Seattle obviously better to play at that awesome Incredible home field advantage they have but if they go three and five against two very good teams both teams Who have five wins already? Yeah, then Seattle might have a pivot strategy for the rest of this season If they can win or split those games Seattle is definitely telling itself We can still be in the playoff mix But the only way they get back into the playoff mix meaningfully is if they fix the running you have to have a lot of pressure on Zach Charbonne coming off a torn ACL and Candidly if we're being honest Candidly don't need to say both of those things He's not like none of us would be like oh, yeah, Zach Charbonne the the cure to your ails of your running game. No, it's fine Yeah, for being honest, no one would say that Zach Charbonne is the cure to the ails of your running game. Yeah Yeah, no one would say that although he's been a touchdown machine, so maybe but he might be a maybe an army to rest of it Not exactly I wouldn't if you were to stack him up against other potential starting running backs He would not be in the top 20. Mm-hmm. That's for sure So Seattle a team to watch to acquire running backs I feel like I can tell that you went to Wesleyan because that sentence just feels like so much more learning than my Sentences the cure to the ails of your running game. Yeah, like you are you are a learned you're a red individual I've seen your library you guys know I'm a big T guy these days, right? Yes, I've I'm trying to become less of a coffee more of a T guy Yeah, the the T that I buy has sayings on each T bag. You steal that from you like a joke off the lollipop stick or sorry the popsicle stick well for adults the dream Yes, so I get all these cool sayings that I learn I Prefer jokes. I want to go Mike wants a lollipops. I don't want to be wise. I want to be I want to be I want a laugh. I don't need to be wise Fart up your back. Yes. Yeah, and what is it? If humans don't fart it travels up your spine to your brain and that's where crappy ideas That's why that's why you got to let it out at Scott against evil says Jalen Warren or Javonte Williams this week. Oh, yes I actually have Warren higher because he gets the Saints. Yeah, I mean I'll have run in the ball against him He's been awesome, but I love them both John. He's been a machine. You've got a great team Scott I think the answer is Jalen Warren as well. Yeah, but you do have a great team one more question here From our chat this one comes from The guitar maniac. Do we think that Breeze Hall plays this week? Yes. Yeah, there a lot of optimism there I think they will sometimes I don't believe this one coach to say it and maybe be depending on how the game is going it won't matter But I think they're gonna make an effort to use braille and Alan Moore as a rusher definitely game So I don't know if that'll continue on and obviously if you have breeze hall You hope not you hope that hall is like okay. He's the better player. We're gonna lean on him But I think Alan's done enough that they're gonna try to hand it off to him a little more than they have could not agree more I think Breeze Hall plays on Sunday, but I think the Breeze Hall playing 70% of the snaps window is shut for the next few weeks Yeah, by the way, they're playing Miami. So there's room for both of those guys to yeah this one if it is desperate spot for a flex I wouldn't prefer to use braille and Alan, but You could probably get away with it if they're running the ball over this team Let's talk about Broncos and Cardinals guys next game up here on the slate couple of lineup blocks in this one Literally a couple. Yeah Michael Wilson and Tremick bride no lineup blocks for the Denver Broncos Cardinals are expecting to be without Jeremiah love in this one as well Mike, let's talk about the Cardinals here and Michael Wilson. How you approaching this? I am approaching this as kind of a tricky guy to figure out right now because Michael Wilson has had them back-to-back big games Where we thought okay? This might guy might be in the top 10 conversation a wide receiver going forward. Yep 30 targets 18 catches 184 yards and a touchdown in just two games, but guys He's had exactly seven targets in his other four games He didn't reach 11 fantasy points in any of them in fact Under eight fantasy points in both games since Marvin Harrison Jr Was traded and makes you wonder if like yes Harrison wasn't seeing much volume, but was the defense kind of you know Respecting him just enough that it was opening up Michael Wilson for heavy volume. I don't know But the fact is this is back to what you're you're just laughing because it's one of those things where Number last year when J. Jim McCarthy was playing Do-do football and Justin Jefferson was suffering and then Kevin O'Connor was amazing and he's so good with words We get up to the podium and he'd be like You know, you got to go back and see how no wide receiver influences defensive coverage is more than Justin Jefferson If you really study the tape but you can see the basically nine guys are covering him on every single play So really Justin's lack of production in J.J.'s chemistry is more a byproduct of the defensive schemes Than anything else there so we have the full case of we have full confidence in Justin Jefferson And there's no wide receiver. I'd rather have my roster than Justin and yada yada yada. It's like okay, but Every year prior to this. Yeah, when Justin was also the best wide receiver in the league Mm-hmm. He was going off because his quarterback was not playing like trash. Correct. So he's still had nine guys guarding in those games too So Mike almost did that right there with Marvin Harris. I did almost I'm just trying to explain why he's having his two worst games of the year The two weeks after Marvin Harris juniors gone, so hopefully that gets pointed the right direction because there are a lot of positives with Michael Wilson He is top a out wide receiver in snaps routes target share targets and zone targets and air yards pretty much all the boxes You want to check so he's still in the wide receiver three conversation one thing I am monitoring is the health of Pat Sartane He has been out a couple of weeks looks like he's trending towards returning in this game And if he does good chance he shadows Michael Wilson because of course Marvin Harrison juniors not there. So they're going to put them on of course Michael Wilson who's getting all the defensive attention right now Wilson for me a wide receiver After taking out last night's guys probably 24 25 in that range and I'm 26 to start the week. So you're starting them There's enough here to feel good about him, but I wonder I want a more consistent like we got down the stretch last year I'd love to have that Michael Wilson level of consistency for Jalen Waddle right now I feel like that would at least be an upgrade right now Jalen Waddle is he a flex? Could you maybe he's not a lineup block? Could you maybe flex him right now is wide receiver 47 in points per game He's played six games this season He has two games with more than six and a half fantasy points. That's a pretty low bar six and a half Those are the two games he was wide receiver nine and wide receiver 25 But every other game he's outside the top 55. How about the matchup though guys? Arizona has allowed the sixth Fewest completions to the wide receiver position, but the second most touchdowns Jalen Waddle is not really a big touchdown maker right now in this offense mid-packed in yards allowed There's nothing here like what makes me excited about Jalen Waddle is How good I know Jalen Waddle is at football But this week with the way that he's been I mean the season and the way he's been utilized with the Broncos It just feels like a dark throw So I don't if you need to flex him It's a more of a I'm doing it in spite of feeling good about this situation. There's a reason why he's not a lineup block How do you guys feel about him a little bit about how I feel about AJ Brown after last night's Game, which is that I'm just sort of nervous that it's never going to get on track for this season even if The quarterback is awesome in New England. AJ is very talented I'm not sure what to make a bone next, but I do agree with you the Jalen Waddle is very talented So I'm going to turn to Mike because I actually looked over hoping that I can ask Mike about the schedule strength of schedule going forward And I happen to see this already open. Yeah, so for the wide receivers It's kind of tough, but for the offense overall it's substantially easier for the Broncos So some of these teams have been tougher on Titans, but not necessarily not necessarily on quarterbacks running backs tight ends offenses as a whole so That gives me a little pause the schedule is very light in the fantasy playoffs the last three games are the Raiders bills and patriots Patriots and Raiders kind of mid-packed the bills obviously have struggled a lot The schedule for the rest of the season in the next four weeks is tougher But again, it just opens up so much. So I think that even if we get bone next back on track That's going to lead to at least starting caliber numbers from Jalen Waddle It has been super tough so far I believe I said earlier in the week they've had the hardest schedule so far for an offense using EP is the metric so Uh, I feel like that's the Gives you hope like if you have Waddle or Stealth Courtland Sutton or the running backs or bone X guys like that It should be better going forward than it's been so far. That's the only Potential saving grace that you have with it being hopefully better going forward I am okay if you decide. I want to see it one more week and bench him if case you have a better option this week But I hope that all comes to fruition because Jalen Waddle been one of the bigger disappointments on four weeks too If I start him and he struggles then I will be so mad once again if He yeah, you're right. You're right. I was gonna try to do it. Yeah. I'm gonna take the Denver Broncos on this one Here follow those who you taking Mike Broncos. Uh, I am taking the Broncos. Yes nice pick by both you but you're wrong Cardinals you're taking the carnal style Wow and the producers are taking them as well love that all right When they beat the chargers and week one and we're like wow the carnal's good it turns out the charges were just really bad Holy cow lineup blocks for lions and packers highest total of the week here now we're talking Jordan love Christian Watts and Matthew golden took a craft jared golf jimmy or Gibbs I'm on Ross St Brown and Sam Laporta guys line up locks I think there's almost 10 others should almost be 10 of them in here. I'm gonna say this really quickly You ready guys? Okay, what is it? Jed Goff is QB2 and fantasy points per game.
game. Jordan love is QB 15 and fantasy points per game. However, quarterbacks versus Detroit have scored an average of 27.4 points this year. That would be QB one on the season. Junior Gibbs is RB one. We've got Josh Jacobs at RB 17. Maybe not a line of block, but we do expect him to maybe be an RB two for our squad. There's a reason why he wasn't on that screen. I'm on Rossane Brown, wide receiver four and points per game. Christian Watson wide receiver five and points per game. Matthew Golden wide receiver 14 and points per game. Sam Laporta, tight end four and points per game. And Tucker Kraft is only tight and 16. However, just like the quarterback spot tight end ones against the Detroit Lions are averaging 17.7 points. That would easily be the number one tight end and fantasy football. James the only guy that's not on there as and we all know why because of the up and down nature of James and Williams. But the idea that you've got nine line of blocks in this game, Michael. Unbelievable. That's all. I added Josh Jacobs. You're adding Josh Jacobs. Just a level said on Jacobs. You said RB 17 is your ring. Give it take. Yeah. He's inside the top 20 for all of us. Yeah. I think we have to we all acknowledge this. Like he's clearly the best running back for the Packers. Yep. The running game has been anemic, which I think is much more about the offensive about the running backs on the offensive line. Not a good offensive line, but the running back just think in Green Bay. Matt LaFour has already said like he's got to ramp back up. I think three weeks from now, assuming he's not further disciplined, Josh Jacobs will be like RB 7 and we'll just not talk about it anymore. But this week there is some hesitation as to whether you should start him and part because you haven't had the opportunity to start him for the first six weeks. So if you've gotten by if you drafted wisely with the running back that slid or you've just found some sort of combination that works, it's totally okay to give him a week. If you're more desperate and you've been waiting on Josh Jacobs return, I do expect I think he'll comfortably be into the double digits for carries on Sunday comfortably. I agree with that. And there's a reason why we have him ranked inside the top 20. Unlike Zack Sharbenay in part because Sharbenay is coming back from injury. Josh Jacobs not an injury thing. So what about the paddles? I don't have to add much. Just an incredible spot for them to be in. This is the best wide receiver duo in fantasy. So far this season. Christian Wonson fifth and fantasy points per game. Matthew Golden 14th and fantasy points per game. The Lions of course have allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing wider receivers. We do this every week. We remind you how great of an opportunity it is against this Lions defense. And Daniel, you mentioned the slate on the suit of the overrunner. Yep. 53 and a half. That's a huge number for overrunner. So Vegas expecting a lot of points. The guy I'm watching and Savion Williams. Remember who's the third round pick last year and they didn't use him much. He said career highs last week and usage and targets and snap share. They were as the highest of his career and it was his first game back off IR. So I'm curious to see if he just settles right into that Jaden Reed Randall Cobb sort of underneath role in this offense. Obviously Randall Cobb is the Roger's era. But regardless, you know what I mean? It's that slot role in what is a good green bay Packers offense. But I'm fascinated to see what he can do. This is part of the Rogers era in New York as well. Remember that. That's true. Briefly. That's true. But you guys taking in this one. I'm one of the Lions Packers. What? What the hell dare you? I have the Lions. Why? I don't know. I think you guys are friends. I did too. We pick on Mike so much together. Mike told me he was supposed to be the No field. Just remember who picked the Lions. Oh my gosh. Michael's like if you picked the Packers, I'll do it. And you is he out of the chat now and I can get in the chat. Maybe the Michigan man chat. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I love that told me fair. Let's reserve expulsion from that chat. Let's talk Chiefs and Seahawks next. Guys, what a great Sunday night football game. This is last game lineup blocks for this one. Seahawks Jackson Smith and Jigba for the Kansas City Chiefs can walker the third and Xavier worthy Xavier worthy Alina block. Well, back to back DNP's for Rashi rice certainly sounds like he is out. That seemed like it. Jackson Smith and Jigba, I'm surprised that he's Alina block knowing that the Kansas City Chiefs are the only team in the NFL to not allow a wide receiver to catch a touch of chiefs. Well done. They have when targeting wide receivers zero touchdowns and four interceptions so far. I mean, Jay ascent is different, but well done by them for a team that's just kind of completely overhauled their quarterback situation in the off season. Magnolo. Yeah. Well done. Yeah. They always do it. They always should get the most out of their players and then these corners go to other teams and aren't as good oftentimes, but they continue to get it done. So impressive defense from them as usual. I held it in. I had some allergies. Fake out. Yeah, I saw it. I saw how copycat me feel. God. Let's talk about the Return of Zack Sharbinay. We are limiting our expectations. Obviously, we have always said for a long time here, there was a big difference between Return to Play and Return to Performance. He did have 12 touchdowns last year. Love the rushing touchdowns and the upside. That's kind of what we're if you are going to use him this week, you are wish casting goal line touches that he falls into the end zone. We're not expecting a ton of volume, not expecting a bunch of usage, not expecting a bunch of passing game work, but he is a guy that if they get down towards the goal line, could have some touchdown upside. Yeah. So that's where we're hoping that that would happen this week, although I am very much passing on a Seattle Seahawks running back if I can help it. Yeah. This week, I'm not touching anything. They could use upwards of four running backs in this game. So I'd rather stay away for now. But I feel like if you've been sitting on Sharbinay and your IR, are you added him recently? Correct. Probably feeling pretty good moving forward because this is an offense. I know they have a tough slate right here upcoming, but they're going to run the ball a lot. They're going to win games as a very good team elite defense. It's going to set up excellent second half gamescripts for Sharbinay. So if he's 80% 90% of where he was last year in terms of effectiveness, he doesn't. Look, this guy can average 3.5 yards per carry the rest of the year and be a viable RB2 in fantasy, because he'll score a lot of touchdowns. And I mentioned this the other day, you know, he had 42 catches two years ago. Like he could handle a couple of them in a situation where there's no Ken Walker and nobody that's really threatening him. If he should be on the field a lot and very productive. Did you guys see the tweet that was going around yesterday and I retweeted it? So I'm going to get the exact name, the exact account the tweet. I think it was Andrew Cooper. I definitely like Ken Walker revenge game here. That's going to be fascinating. It's a elite run defense. I can't wait to see that from Andrew Cooper here. Cooper a fiasco on Twitter. The CEO actually put Zach Sharbinay at linebacker this week against the chiefs because he's been by far the best player in the league is stopping Kenneth Walker the third. Oh my gosh. That's a good one. That's a good one. That's a good one. That's true. Yeah, you wonder why Walker wasn't able to do this kind of thing in Seattle when they were, you know, you know, they were such a good run. Yeah, that's it. I mean, he did it or the final six games of last season when they actually fed him. There it is. There it is. On the other side of this one, can I ask you guys like are you at the point with these pass catchers and how good Ken Walker is that like Patrick Mahomes has sort of worked his way outside of that starting. I'm a little nervous. He's kind of regressing regressing back to where he's been the last couple of years. Exactly. He has not been a consistent elite fantasy quarterback for a long time. He had a cup of tea last year. I'm going to use it all year. I know. Would you like some tea Mike? He doesn't even drink. I'm okay now. I got through the tough part. It's like 51% warm still. Okay. Yeah, I think the first half of last season, he was good for a while. Any any regress. No, like tea and stuff. But let's talk about Mahomes here because it's kind of fascinating. Comes out of the gate so strong this year. 21.7 and 29 fantasy points. The last three games, 15.9, 17 and 10.5. So going the wrong direction, 30 or fewer pass attempts and four of five games. The chiefs have led or tied 77% of the time when they have the football which is fifth highest. That's been a game script issue there. But a larger concern here is he comes out week one has seven carries for 23 yards and a touchdown seemingly to prove that he can run the ball off that major injury. Since then four games 10 carries 34 yards. No touchdowns. The run rushing is disappeared. The chiefs have moved to more of a balanced offense. They've traditionally been very pass heavy. They're running more at the goal line than they have ever before during the Mahomes era. That's led to a lot of Ken Walker, the third touchdowns, of course. So that's all concerning going forward. That makes that's all not good. This guy's probably more of a fringe QB one than a lineup lock. But then you get Seattle on the road this week. They've allowed the fewest passing yards. A 5.3 yards per pass attempt. That's lowest in the NFL. nasty. The second fewest fantasy points of quarterbacks. And they've held four of six quarterbacks under 10 fantasy points so far this season. So I'm very, very nervous about Mahomes this week. He's a mid range QB two for me. The only reason he's that high is because he's patching my homes. It's really that simple not to mention Richie Rises out as well. So a lot of concerns here with Mahomes going forward. And especially this week. Yep. I feel you on all of that guys. Who you taking in this matchup? Got check week for the Seahawks. I think they win. I do too. I'm taking the Seahawks. I have the chiefs on the road. It's hard to pick against them. Oh, and the producer going with the chiefs on the road as well. All right. We got some starts of the week now, my friends. Field, I believe you go first. Is that correct? I don't know, Daniel, but I lose last week. Oh, wait. Yes. I did. Well, I didn't. I set it up nicer than that. That's true. I'll go first. My quarterback this week is A. Ron Rogers. He gets the Saints who stings. The streamer fence. My running back is Javante Williams. We talked about him earlier. Visa V. Jail and war and both great options. My wide receiver is fantasies. Wide receiver three in points per game. That's right. When he stays healthy, that is Jail and Coker. And my last one is currently lions, but potentially future. I'm sorry. X lion. How dare you? Don't put that out there. Comments to our friends over part of my take from Sam LaPorta, but he has been for the end for this week. Like it. Well done. I'm going to go with, by the way, Field Wood,
pay off his punishment this week, but he's not going to for starts of the week because it's gonna be a Halloween costume. - Yeah, it's a Halloween costume for next week. - Yeah, so he's gonna pay it on it this week. - One of the Thursdays today. - Yep, my starts of the week here, I'm going with Bryce Young as my quarterback and then going with Bruce Hall at the running back spot. - Do you have a pivot if he's out? - I would have a pivot. - My pivot, if he does not play, I would love to be able to just the pivot to the guy in his back feels. No, the guy behind him. - Okay. - I would just go there. - Christian Watson is my wide receiver taking on my Detroit Lions. And I've yet to use Isaiah likely yet this year. - Okay. - I can't wait for our week 16 stars. - It's gonna, I was thinking about how gross you can be. - You're using up all the good ones. - Wheel Mallory is our tight end. - Yeah. - Yeah, well, hey, this would be the week to use him with no Tyler Warren. Ready for mine? - Yeah, bring it. - Just show Daniels from last week, basically. - That's it, yeah. - Imitation is the highest form of flattery, Michael. - It wasn't intentional, but it just worked out beautifully. I am playing the stack against your Detroit Lions here. - Jordan loves quarterback. - Lions have allowed the most fantasy points to quarterback. - Yeah. - From Matthew Golden. - Lions have allowed the second most fantasy points to receivers, Tucker Kraft. The Lions have allowed the most fantasy points to tight ends. And got a great matchup. The only thing I changed was to running back. I think you had Deandre Swift. I'm going Jalen Warren. The Saints have allowed the most fantasy points to running backs this season. So, love Warren Golden Kraft. Let's go. - I would love it if the Lions just blow out the Green Bay Packers and Mike loses starts of the week. - I'm not scared. I'm not feeling scared at all, much like you. - I know. - You cruise with this stuff. - Yeah. - I ain't never scared. - Set up. - All right, guys, random rankings. Worst animal to suddenly be the size of a horse. - Oh boy. - Oh boy, it's right. - I got some good ones here. How much do you bring to the table? - Three, five. - Three. - Wait, it says animal. It can be animal slash creature slash anything, right? - Sure. - Sure. - Okay, good. - Well, we'll let Phil and I will decide on the fly whether or not he has count. - I think that I'll count in the worst way possible. - Do you want to go first? - I'll go first, guys. - You're on the tee. - Number three, my number three ranking of the worst animal to be the size of a horse is a raccoon. Because when you go out to your driveway and you pull back your curtain and you see a horse size raccoon digging through your trash with those big old paws. - It'd be real, it'd be like, have fun. - Yeah, I'm out. Go ahead, man. That's all you. Number two, a flying squirrel. Think about a flying squirrel, the size of a horse, jumping from a tree, and whoosh. - Yeah, you know how cool that would be, but also terrifying. - Well, my house is there's a lot of trees around and they jump and land on the top of the floor. - Yeah, so I hear him, if that was a horse size, they'd fall through your roof, through the roof. - Yeah, they would. It would be the most fun in the world, but also terrible. Number one, my number one animal to be the, suddenly be the size of a horse, a skunk. - Ah, that was on my list. - You know how bad the butt would smell? - Oh, be off. - It'd be the worst. It would be like the entire neighborhood would smell it. It wasn't just so, anyway, sorry, I took one from you. - Okay, well why don't you go next them because I stole your skunk. - Before I do that, just a quick story, you mentioned a raccoon jumping into your trash. We live in Connecticut, which happens. - Oh, that happens. - But I grew up 90 minutes away for where we live right now, not that far. I saw zero bears in my youth. Not a one, no bears in Massachusetts ever. Bears are everywhere in Connecticut. No idea why they're the garbage. - But not 90 minutes away. The day that our third child was born, began with a bear coming into our driveway and pile driving our trash gas. I mean, absolutely dominating. And I was like, this looks like, like Devon Bush getting ready for training camp for the Chicago Bears in a couple of days, like smoked it. And they want the bears as once they knock the trash over, they have to rifle through. - Of course. - Of course. - Have everything. - And you're not going to go over there and disrupt the bears. - No, you're going to leave them be because it's a lot easier to deal with the damage after the fact. - Was that bear the size of a horse? - This was a gigantic bear. - Okay. - I let it be. And then I had to go clean up all this trash and put it back into new trash. And then like an hour and a half later, my wife was like, holy crap, my water just broke. We have to go to the hospital. Well, this day is crazy right now. - That sounds like a great day. I thought you were going to say, an hour later, cheapen was like, we have like some charges on our account. He stole our social service. (laughing) - The bear stole our social security number. - Yeah, that's what they're doing in the garbage. You got to watch out. They steal your identity. - Oh man, the bear would be awful. - Give me your three animals. - You have it here. You know what animal drives me absolutely insane right now? Lantern bugs. - Oh, Lantern lives in the world. - Did we get bears in those? I just saw them coming in again. - I mean, we got nine million of them here. Are those regional or are those everywhere? - They are making their way across. So they're innovative species unfortunately. So we didn't have them a couple of years ago. I know it was farther south. They've now started coming up to us. So if you don't have them north of us, you will probably in the next year or two. That's how they're made. - I know you're a scientist. - Who knew? - Yeah. - Yes, depths of knowledge. - Yeah. - So they're invading us right now. - Yes. - And it would be worse if they were the size of horses because they are- - Oh, it's disgusting. - They're everywhere. - You know what would not be fun? - You know like the chihuahuas that have like really little hair. - But the big eyes? - Yeah, like that would have like- - Oh yeah, yeah. - As a horse. - It would have like freaked me out. - Really freaked me out. It kind of freaked me out when they're just from normal size, which is teeny tiny. It would freak me out even more. - Imagine you're in like a back alley somewhere you're walking home from New York and then all of a sudden you turn around and there's just a horse-sized chihuahu with big buggy eyes like that, you'd freak out. - Yeah, I wish her would. Last one, I think this is kind of obvious, but a bee. You know, I've realized this because what's the rule when you're around a bee, you're supposed to stay still, right? - Yes. - Let the bee just kind of do some inspecting and then move on. Try getting three kids to stay still. - But there's a bee around. - Not for you, I know. - It's like, I'm not gonna shout, but it's like, no way, like daddy, oh my God, it's right baby. Like, you know, flailing around. - Get it, stop, relax, if you take care of it. As best you can, just relax, quiet still. - If it was a size of a horse, we'd have big. - The main issue there is its stinger is like a sword. - Yes. - Like that would be devilish. - Yes, that would be a problem, yes. - So bees, the size of horses would be awful. - That'd be fun. All right, I'd want to be fun. - I mean, think about, but okay. You have different dishes. - Counterpoint. - It's a fun. Imagine if you were able to tie a bee up and then put a saddle on it, and then you could fly around everywhere, guys. How fun was that? - How about your enemies? - How about this? How about you do the same thing, but just with something else that flies? - That's not a bee. - Yes. - A bird. - Okay. - Yeah. - All right, that's fair. Okay, that's fair. - All right, yeah, like an avatar. - Mike, what? - Yes. - Yes. - The best in this world, right? - Yes, that's right. - That's right. - Mine, I went a little bit of a different direction, so mine, if you're squeamish, you might not like mine. - Uh-oh. - Mine are gross. Number three for me is centipede. - Oh. - Ugh. - Centipede's are gigantic. - Can you, can you let them be on your hand? Can you feel them like walking around? - How many legs do they have? - 1,100, right? - 100, yeah. - 100, yeah. - Centipede. - 100? - Yeah. - Don't like that at all. - That would be disgusting. - They're big. - Number two. - Wait, have you ever seen one in real life? Like, not in like a cage or at a zoo or something. - Yeah. - Or a children's book. - You've seen centipedes in real life? - I've seen them in real life. - Okay, yeah. - They're gross. - That's essentially the same, like they're around, right? Are they different? Is that a different thing? - So when I lived in Hawaii, they were like, they were big. - Oh, not because they didn't. - I've seen it in small ones. I don't know if they had the same name, but the little one. - Millipedes? - Those are millipedes. - Millipedes, that's it. - Yeah. - Okay. - Yeah. - Anyway, number two for me, maggots. Ugh. - Michael. - That's my trauma from when I was a kid was like, I remember one time I had to go outside and move a garbage bag that was sitting out into the can. And it was just, they were everywhere and I couldn't do them. - I couldn't like touch it. - They're like squirming in the net for an hour. - Yeah, like gross. - In the last one, this one's less gross, but still terrible. Mosquito. - Oh, mosquitoes are off. - Hey, mosquitoes. - Yes. - They love me. I get bit up all the time. I can't go outside when they're around. So mosquitoes, that would be awful. - You know what that is? The mosquitoes are saying this to you. You can't understand it 'cause they speak mosquito language, but they're saying, get back in there and start doing more projections. - Yes, will you? - They must be because I don't like it, they bite me. Some people, some people, I feel like mosquitoes just gravitate to more than others. Are you one of those people you think? - I don't know why. - I don't know why. - Yeah. - I guess so. - Yeah. - I don't like it. - Good blood. - You need to leave me alone. - Yeah, good blood. - Make me itchy. We got a couple from our mailbag here. A horse-sized chihuahua would have me packing to leave Earth. I'm with you, Logan. - He can understand that. - Logan understands. Tony, a horse-sized snake would be pretty wild. - I agree. - A horse-sized snake would be wild. - And on the kind of snake, it would be fun though. A hummingbird would be dope. - Oh, you like it. - I think that would be, you know, fast those wings would be, we said skunk, bands, only band, obviously. Yep. Scorpion is dead. - Oh, one guy. - One good one. - That would be tough. I was thinking about a tarantula, but I didn't choose it because of a mosquito. - There you go. - I'm gonna make a mic is putting down. - I tried to pick animals that had a vertebrae, whereas like, I don't think, I don't know if spiders and pugs do, but they, I can't imagine all of that. - Make them a mammal when they have a vertebrae field. Mammals have, what do mammals have again? - Her? - No. - I don't know. - Mammals have heard of it. - We need a guest host. - They're warm blooded or cold, they're cold. - Maybe mammals are, I don't remember. - Armadillo. - Mm-hmm. - Does that have a? - Armadillo's, they curl up into that ball. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Wasn't it like a, an armadillo in a video game or something I'm making this up? - Are you thinking of Sonic the Hedgehog? - No, that would be a hedgehog. - Yeah, it would be. - Oh, he's thinking of, I forgot what it's called. I don't know. - Good podcasting here. - Yeah, I know. We're just crushing it, guys. I don't make it a mammal, what is a mammal? - Warm blooded cold. - We would love to know, I would love to know what makes a mammal. - I'm a scientist. - I don't know. - I think what makes a mammal a mammal? If you ask me, yeah, warm blooded vertebrae. - I said vertebrae. - I said vertebrae. - Scientist, right there. - Bro, you didn't, I, that's gonna do it for our show today. - We are, you guys. - So what I said here, you did not say any of that. - I'm a mammal. - Don't forget to love each other. - You're a mammal, you're 40.
Don't forget to leave each other, I have guys. Forget what my closing line is now, I'm all next up, just have fun and we'll see you on Sunday for-- - If that is the focus count down. (upbeat music)
