Week 7 Fantasy Rankings: The Biggest Risers at Every Position | Fantasy Focus
1h 36s
The show covers fantasy football rankings for Week 7, focusing on quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end evaluations. Josh Allen remains the top QB due to consistent fantasy production, while Patrick Mahomes drops to a mid-tier spot due to low passing volume and a difficult matchup against a stingy Seattle defense. Matthew Stafford is highlighted as a top-10 quarterback with high volume and a solid matchup against the Raiders. Running backs include Josh Jacobs, a strong returner against the Lions, and Ramondra Stevenson, a risky flex option with inconsistent production. Wide receivers like Amanra and AJ Brown receive attention, with Amanra showing potential against the Packers and Brown showing signs of improvement. Jeremiah Love is monitored as a potential sleeper due to recent injury recovery. The show also addresses sleepers and busts, with Justin Herbert and Maureen Hampton named as major busts due to poor performance and lack of upside. Sequan Barkley is flagged as a high-ADP injury bust with no touchdowns or carries. The fantasy face-off concludes with both Daniel and Mike making strong arguments, with Mike ultimately winning on Jonathan Taylor despite a tough matchup. The discussion emphasizes the importance of matchup analysis, efficiency stats, and injury status in shaping fantasy success. The segment ends with a mix of optimism and caution, reflecting the volatility of the season’s remaining weeks.
I see you in the oh six. Oh, no, focus. Fancy. Fancy focus. What's up, friends? Welcome into fantasy focused football alongside feel Jates and Mike Clay. My name is Daniel Dopp. Super excited to be here on a Wednesday. I'm going to be diving into a bunch of rankings here for week seven, going to be a very fun show from that perspective. We also got a little bit of fantasy face off. Who am I going up against? You're certainly me and Mike me and my. Oh, okay. All right. I see an ad for series of already. Yes, I'm going to start it. No, we're going to save. We're saving it. We're saving it. I remember the strategy that works so effectively for me that one. Yes, we're just going to keep that in mind. Butterfield up. No big deal. We're talking to some sleepers breakouts and bus. We're both looking backwards and forwards with this one, which is going to be a lot of fun and a lot of random rankings as we always do at the end of the show. But first and foremost, guys, how you doing? You look nice today. Thanks, Daniel. Do you mean that about me and Mike or just me? Mostly just you. You wore your Steve Jobs outfit. It looks like you're just a straight black shirt. No, I have blue jeans on. So black and blue. Oh, I make you black and blue. Oh, that's what it is. This is good. All right. I like it. We're going at it later on on the fantasy face off. You're good. You know, it's crazy. This is crazy. I know you guys are going to be like, how does your brain go to this? But when you factor in the preseason, we do five weeks of preseason. Yes. And then we do 18 weeks of the regular season. Yes. Once we get to the 30 minute mark of today's show, we will be halfway through what the start of the preseason until the end of the regular season. Wow. How did you calculate that? Well, let's see, Mike. What is five plus 18? 23. All right. So what's 23 divided by two? 11 and a half. Correct. So we've had five weeks of the preseason, six weeks of the regular season. We'll be halfway through this week at 11 30 or 10 30. Wow. It's kind of sharp with the Matt. That's impressive. So if you care about such things, and here's the truth. When you're going through like the fan, the football season, you got a lot of stuff on your plate. You are pretty mindful of like how far along you are. Yeah. Much longer until like your life looks a little bit different and you're managing a few fewer things. So yeah, we are almost halfway through the fantasy regular slash preseason. I love that field could have been looking up on Monday, Steven's stats for today's show. But that was being like, how much more work do I have to do for the rest of the year? I'm aware of remodeled 3.4 fantasy points. And trading Aaron Rodgers and Dynasty. That's all you did the last 24 hours. That's it. That's right. It's like days and make a Aaron Rodgers straight. Would you get for Aaron Rodgers and Dynasty field draft picks? So I Rodgers is obviously retiring at the end of the season. I said that many times before. My team won two years ago and pretty much all of my players were like just in their final good year, sake one. Derek Henry might still be there. Travis Kelsey, George Kittle, Lamar, Lamar being hurt since basically the start of last season. That's a wagon of a squad. But they are definitely a little older. The old Samuel James Conner. It was like all those guys last awesome year had this perfect storm. It was amazing. And then have we won this the last three years? Yeah. I want to last the last three years or something like that. Yeah. Yeah. It was you last year. Me the year before and the Mike the year before. Now it's notably a three team league. So like us winning it is not that we play with my two daughters field three daughters. Yeah. So I just thought I had to make my pivot at some points. I've had a couple of offers since the beginning of the summer because I kind of thought there was a chance this team was due for reset. And yeah, the reset has begun. Aaron Rodgers is no longer on my squad. But I do that. Congratulations. At least thank you. Every move in this league is so big like the trades. Oh, yeah. And actively with a lot of our colleagues here, former and current. So it's super fun. Unfortunately, that means field will not be getting this very cool belt probably on our desk from trophy smack. Use the promo code trophy smack week. Sorry, trophy week seven at trophy smack.com. There's a chance you could still win the league field. But I mean, yeah, I mean, pretty much all about his jail and knoll to become puking a coup at two point. I'm in business. Baby, he's done some things. Let's do a little bit of it. It was really quickly before we dive into the rankings. We talked about this briefly yesterday, but as officially official Terry McClurren is done for the year. We're going to talk, I think, a little bit about some of, is it you? Are we talking sleepers? Did you talk? We are talking sleepers later. I think there's a handful of these guys that we're going to talk about, but just really quickly for the commanders, you feeling like there is anyone worth throwing a dart at if you wanted to throw a roster or start another commander's pass catcher. I'm guessing Stefan digs roster percentage is way up there already. I can relate is. But because they're on a buy this week, people will not see the players and the projections when they go to the waiver section on the ESPN fantasy app. So you may be able to sneak Stefan digs or it should go. I'm going to leave it there because I think Mike has a commander's talk. If you guys later on in the show, but those are the two biggest names that matter to us. Get well, Terry McClurren, that really, really, really sucks to see. Biggs has already rostered in 80% of leagues. I stand for looking further down the rankings in Tony O'Williams. Yeah, I'm really birx. I mean, just keep an eye on him as well, but yeah, we'll get as well on Monday did. But they need to throw the ball to somebody. All right. Let's talk about some rankings, guys. We're going to start at the quarterback position. As we always do here in week seven, Josh Allen at one. And that is going to always be, oh, wait, no, Josh Allen this week. I thought after you not ranking, Jimmy or Gibbs last week, even though we scored the fourth most points at running back, you definitely would have ranked Josh Allen. Yeah, this is still disrespectful to Josh Allen sometimes. Yes. I'm how it is. We should have just started too. I mean, yes, but you know, for being honest, three of the last four weeks, Josh Allen's been ordinary. Whoa, they're not wrong field, but I don't want to hear about the numbers. Okay. Josh Allen is Superman. I believe it's three of his past four games are definitely under 20. And I think under 19 and three of those past four. So he's still clear, clear cut, QB one. But after the first two weeks, it was like, yeah, this is why you paid the premium on Josh Allen. Yeah. And we said, well, let's give it a few more weeks. He tends to do this in big moments. And then we'll come back to after the first three weeks. We were like, Oh, boy, we're in Prague. We're in trouble with Drake May. And then the last three weeks have been awesome. Over 23 fantasy points in every single one. He is our QB one against the bears in this one quarterbacks 11 through 20 going up on the screen right now. Tyler Shutt comes in at quarterbacks 16 bounce back nicely after that tough Vikings game. But he is a really difficult matchup in France against the steel. Just don't count games against the Vikings anymore, like against players. Almost yeah, like just cross him off. They're just not the same. I'm gonna mention that a little later on in the show as well. I love that you I love we're thinking the same thing even though we hate each other today. Yeah. Ooh, you stink. Okay. That's was that's a bridge to you. I was. Come on. Come on. Sorry. Sorry for the language. It's not my job is watching mouth. That was about a couple other quarterbacks here guys. How do you feel about Patrick Mahomes right now? Feel don't really know how to feel about Patrick Mahomes. I think that maybe Patrick Mahomes has kind of slid back into what our expectations were for him coming into the season. Yeah. Which is like a borderline top 10 quarterback. It's still Patrick Mahomes not going to see as much rushing. And that has been the case over the past three games. He of course plays Seattle on Sunday night. We'll talk about the matchup in just a moment. But Mahomes has 17 or fewer fantasy points in three straight games. And in those three games, he's combined for 17 rushing yards. We do acknowledge that Patrick Mahomes at least right now is projected to throw to Travis Kelsey, Xavier worthy. And then we'll see like it's not a total surprise that Mahomes passing production is not off the charts. Now until last week, he had multiple passing touchdowns in every game. The chiefs had played so far this season. So he's been good. He's been solid, but not spectacular enough that Patrick Mahomes against anybody is an auto start. And anybody he faces this weekend is Seattle, who of course the sea hawks have been incredibly stingy. Second fewest points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. So far this season, they've played six games have the sea hawks. Four quarterbacks have scored nine point eight and were fewer points against Seattle. They actually curiously allowed a lot of points to Marcus Mario. He was the best three passing touchdowns, right? He was one of the tricky ones. I was in Washington, you're Washington, DC, you're traveling all the way across the country. And that happens. I get like 100 only like 185 passing. You know, some of some really touching touchdowns. Mario to got the best of the sea hawks. That's very rare. I don't anticipate Patrick Mahomes will. So he's all way down at quarterback 20 for me in my rankings. And I still think if you're going to ask me generally where Patrick Mahomes ranks amongst quarterbacks, I think somewhere between seven and 10 is where I would say rest of season for Patrick Mahomes. Interesting. Yeah. I feel better if we knew that Rashi Rice was healthy. And if we saw Rashi Rice actually matter, those two things haven't happened much so far this season. Yeah. I hear you. I'm a little I'm concerned about him. I have him identified as a player. I want to break down a little bit more later in the week. You did most of it, but another thing is like Ken Walker is just playing at such a high level. If you have Mahomes, you kind of need Walker to come back to earth a little bit because they are running the ball. They're running a balance offense. They're usually Andy Reed always pass heavy. And they're running the ball more near the goal line as well because of Ken Walker. And that's taking away passing opportunities. This isn't like an usual Mahomes read offense. It's very unlike anyone we've seen before. So if Walker, I don't know, you don't want to miss time. But if he just kind of regresses a little bit to the point where he's where he's been throughout his career, that's going to open up our opportunities for you. Whenever you listen to broadcast, they always make a reference to at least up until this year they make this reference about how during the week, the offensive skill guys would get together with whoever the play collar was, whether it was Eric Bianame, Matt Naggy and DeRude obviously involved it. But yeah, they have these unbelievable goal line meetings. Well, they'll get up there on the grease board and Patrick Mahomes will be in a three point stance lined up directly behind the left tackle. Travis Kelsey will be lined up as the quarterback. We'll have Isaiah Pacheco split out at wide receiver and they'll run some razzle dazzle, you know, Philly special play.
and somehow Patrick Holmes will throw behind the back left, uh, left handed pass to Patrick to Travis Kelsey for a touchdown. This year, it's like, all right. So red zone meeting, uh, hand the ball off going left to pat to Kenneth Walker, the third hand the ball off going right to Kenneth Walker or third. Ready. Break. That's it. Uh, by the way, speaking of wild formations, how about who did it last week? The, uh, yes, yes, the right guard was a tight end. Yes. I forgot who it was. Oh, this is, I saw, I saw to the, I thought you guys would, uh, I know, I know exactly what you're talking about. I'll find it. Feel it's not on social variables. It was a cool, really cool formation. I've never seen that before. So that was awesome. Okay. I have no idea what you guys were talking about. Yeah. I'll find it while I'm looking for it. Yeah. You look at that. Matthew Stafford. Go ahead. Is Matthew Stafford. Is he like a, are we locked in with him as a top 10 quarterback at this point? Yeah. Right now. I mean, uh, there's a lot of talk about the Rams because they're struggling. Obviously, the, uh, the record's poor two and four, not winning games, but, uh, obviously a ton of injuries. But Stafford's still getting the job done through the air 300 plus passing yards and or two plus passing touchdowns and five consecutive games use 20 plus fantasy points in three of them. Uh, it's obviously heavy passing volume, which is what we expected from him this season. He leads the NFL and pass attempts, completions and yards. He also has 11 passing touchdowns at seventh most. He's kind of around right now. He is what? Shocking around right now. He sure is. And he's getting the Raiders this week. They've had the six most fantasy points to quarterbacks. They got that hot star, but they've kind of dwindled as of late. So great opportunity. Um, not a home game for the Rams, but they're close by in Las Vegas short trips. So, uh, whether it should be good, a good spot here for the passing him. No Devon to Adams, but Polk and Dakota might get 40% of the target. So, uh, Matthew Stafford will be just fine. Question from Keith Lipskin with the great Keith Lipskin. Was this the Josh Quavis play for the Ravens? Yes. Oh, that's what I want. I've lined up at left guard, caught a 29 yard pass offensive coordinator, Declan Doyle. You see the screen here slightly off the line of scrimmage right there. So technically, because he was off the line of scrimmage rather than directly on it, he maintained his status as an eligible wide receiver, even though he was lined up at left guard. That just ran around sweet. Open. Yeah. Pretty clearly open. Uh, and it was, it was interesting. So crazy play. We're seeing, uh, we'll see if other teams copycat that, you know, thing we've seen that's a new copycat thing this year is, of course, the lateral play, the hook and ladder or hook and ladder. Yeah. Uh, whichever way you want to say it, but we're seeing a lot of that this year too. You know what? This might be a little bit of me projecting my saltiness over how he's handled the giants running back. So do you guys remember probably a decade, maybe more than that right now, uh, ago when the Patriots played the Ravens in the playoffs and they were down, notably, it was like down 10 or 14 points. And the Patriots turned to this legal formation where they had, I think Shane Verine, the running back, like lined up in a unique spot. And they ended up like killing, like, absolutely crushing it with this formation. They end up coming back and winning the game. And then the entire Ravens team pouted after the game, like the Patriots had just committed the crime on the field. Remember that? Yeah. I mean, so I are on the Ravens or now the ones that are sort of finding a little edge. I'm an Eagles fan. I've been listening to people cry about the push push the last few years just saying it's, you know, it's cheating essentially, but it was just skill. I mean, you're seeing the Eagles now without the talent up front Jason Kelsey to do it. Line sign is good and they're not near as effective. So yeah, kind of evidence that that was a, a play with that the Eagles were just really, really good at. And people just wind every year. The owners, it was, it was terrible. But to be clear, I'm definitely projecting my saltiness over the giants, right? Nothing wrong with that. We're allowed to sometimes. Uh, running back this dive into a handful of running back Rang Keen's guys. Starting with one through 10, Ashton Gentie still inside the top 10 has not been as fantastic as he had been volume down a little bit, but still getting a lot of receiving game work right now, taking on the Rams in this one. It should be a little gap there between Gibbs and Robinson, like, it should be a higher, uh, put them up at the top of the street. We should have like three empty rows just to make sure that you can understand the difference. You'll see Jonathan Taylor, by the way. Yeah, we'll talk about him. Yeah. On that 11 through 20 here, Bucky Irving comes in at running back 16 taken on the Carolina Panthers this week after having a huge week against the Dallas Cowboys really came back to earth. But against the Pittsburgh Steelers, tough one, we'll see if it can do any better here against the Panthers running backs 21 through 30 guys. I'll ignore it in the second right now. Arby 23 none of these names feel good. Although there is one name on this list. I feel a little bit better about maybe, maybe running back 24. We need a little bit of Jeremiah love in our lives. Wouldn't it be nice to see him break out here guys? Well, did you guys see the video of Jeremiah love at a kids camp this week in Arizona? I did not, but was he cutting on his ankle because that's what I'd like to know. He literally was doing bag drills. There we go. Okay. Okay. I mean, not at full speed or anything close to it. But the fact that Jeremiah love who missed last week's game because of an ankle injury was doing some team event and going through the bags. Perhaps interpret as they sign that he may return. Got a lot of injuries hovering over today. First day of practice for teams to play on Sunday. And a lot of injuries going into Monday night. The Eagles, Sequan Barclay, one of the biggest ones of the week. Sounds like Sequan has a real chance to play on Monday night. We'll have more clarity come tomorrow, though. Yeah. Let's talk about Ramondra Stevenson because we now have Travian Henderson back in this backfield. We thought it might just be his for a little bit. How you feeling about Ramondra and the projection? Yeah, he's a really interesting topic because he's very much in that RB2 flex conversation. You're going to have to make a decision on him most likely this week. And certainly once by start to wind down. It's a tricky one. He's 24th and touches this year. 17th in yards, but only two touchdowns 10.7 fantasy points per game. Not much better than where he was during most of the regular season last year. But why this is super notable is what happened here in week six. He had 14 touches just 36 yards. I was under four fantasy points. It's his third game guys under seven fantasy points this season. But you know, he had Travian Henderson in there. He had seven carries, but Corey Kiner 11 carries you basically finished the game for them. The other backs are mixed in, but kind of played 12 snaps had 11 carries. I know that often when a running back finishes the game and there's a lot of carries at the end. It just means, okay, they were just running the clock out. That's it. But I've seen chatter around this, but coming from Patriot's beat riders to suggest they liked this kid and he's going to have some sort of role. So even if they work him into a Sean Tucker like role, it's going to take enough away from these guys that maybe they're less appealing flex options. That's my concern. Also, they're playing the bears. Third few as fantasy points. I had to running back. They faced the fewest running back touches. But last week to play bjohn Robinson, and they couldn't get him involved very much on the guy. He had seven point three fantasy points. Sequan Barkley also faced and that was one of his few full games. He had nine points in that game. So I'm concerned about this one for sure because Stevenson already hasn't been a good fantasy asset. And now he might share even a little bit more of the workload with Kiner and fields you're shaking your head. You're not buying the car. I'm not disputing a lot of what you said about Ramondra. I really believe that was a classic. The Patriot are trying to salt the game away. Who's their best between the tackles power runner when you're not trying to surprise the defense. The answer is Corey. And maybe so in this game, right, they may be it's a competitive game or they're trailing and they don't need to utilize him that way. But the Patriots are pretty good team. They might there might be lots of situations like that. Maybe where they're using him as one in six game so far. So maybe I don't know. I think even if it's six carries a game and when there were already talking. I already don't like Henderson anywhere close to my lineup. Stevenson's borderline. And now you might take away some of that. I mean, once again, I'm not making the pro Ramondra case. I just I'm less optimistic that there will be I don't know how often we'll be talking about Corey Kiner on Thursday night absence. Patriots are up and trying to salt away the clock. That's my opinion. But we'll see it's notable that with them up insulting away the clock, they put in the running back that they didn't want to fumble the ball and they left Ramondra. Yeah, isn't that it's not good. So not great. Kind of put the ball in the ground too like two weeks ago. Yes. Yes. I really do believe this is like we it's it's four minute offense for you're just trying to kill the clock. It's not a mystery by whether you're running or passing and who is the best between the tackles runner who isn't hurt. That one. Yes. I would say for the most part of the situation to avoid. I mean, see, I still have Steven sent a 25. So that's enough to put him on the flex radar, but I don't feel great about it. I really don't. Oh, let's talk. There's going to be a lot of conversation this week. Guys, I'm going to dive in here to this one, which is a little bit more dicey. Josh Jacobs is going to be back for us this week week seven. Obviously, he has been out for the first six weeks with a very serious off the field issue. We're going to keep it about the on the field stuff and what we're doing here in fantasy football, but we are not making light of any of the things that have happened. Josh Jacobs taken on the Detroit Lions. They've been pretty good against running backs so far this year, although they have given up some big games. Chuba had almost 26 fantasy points to get some 222 rushing yards and two touchdowns James Cook at 20.9 fantasy points. Travis HN had 14.8. Everyone else at the running backspot has been capped at single digits against the Detroit Lions. We don't have any numbers for Josh Jacobs, but we do have numbers about how bad everyone else in that compactors backfield has been. I still feel like even if it's week one coming off of not playing for the first six weeks of the season, if you have Josh Jacobs, he can go right into your lineup as an RB two against this Lions team. This one feels to me like a dynamic we talk about on an occasion, which is it doesn't really matter where you rank him. It's a matter whether you're going to play him or not. Correct. And yesterday Matt the floor, he's already acknowledged like we're not going to bring a guy off the bench who's not been around for six weeks and just play him like we have in the past with Josh Jacobs, which is basically every snap. It's going to take some time for him to warm up and get into the typical Josh Jacobs rule. Yep. There's also the possibility of the NFL find something in its investigation. There's a possibility that this legal case has more twists and turns. So I'm not banking on Josh Jacobs being available for every game for the remainder of the season. But if Josh Jacobs is available for the next four consecutive games, I think by the second, third or fourth game, you're going to be seeing Josh Jacobs among
the busiest running backs in all of the NFL because in prior years, Josh Jacobs was playing a ton because he was playing effectively and the Packers running backs behind him were banged up. Yeah. Now we know that the Packers running backs behind him absolutely stink. They're off. So they're going to have to play Josh Jacobs a ton, even if the guys behind him are healthy. Good. I would take, like, if Josh, because there's a thing, you might not be fully back into like, you know, performance mode, right, back to being ready to play, I would still take 60% of Josh Jacobs over what the running, about 100% of what the running backs have been so far. I think his share of the usage might not be much different going forward. But the thing is it's a convenient time for him to return and play a reduced role because they're playing the lines. You're not going to be like, okay, now's our time to switch to run heavy. You're going to throw at the lines. I mean, that's how you beat them and the Packers have already been pass heavy. So I noticed that when I was working on his projections, like rolling back his usage a little bit, I'm like, I don't really have to because that is normal share of the carries in a pass heavy offense in a script that's probably going to be pass heavy against a tough the line steam on the road handling 70% of the carries might be 13 or 14 carries. It's a lot like he could, he could come back and handle that. So I expect him to be at about a dozen or so carries and maybe two or three targets. He already isn't involved much in the passing game. So that's about right. Anyway, I do think to your point, though, at some point, they'll balance out the offense a little bit. Lean more on him as the weather gets colder because that's your, that's your game plan. That's a little floored game plan for a Superbowl win, not necessarily just putting up points early in the season. So yeah, I'm with you, Daniel. I think I'm at, I'm at 19, so I very much think he's in mid to back end, RB two. Yes. There's so many ifs involved here, but if Josh Jacobs stays on the field for the remainder of this season, I don't think it's long before we see Josh Jacobs is RB 12, RB nine, RB eight. And I'm going for it. Yep. Let's talk about some wide receivers here for week seven gentlemen. At the top of the list, wide receivers, one through 10, Amanra checks in at wide receiver four. In spite of the fact, he hasn't really had a big game since week two. You can't see him in the. Oh, that's a good one. That is pretty legit. Do love Amanra still going to be a big game against the Green Bay Packers. Expect a lot of throwing in this one. Wide receiver is 11 through 20, hoping for something a little better here for AJ Brown, my friends, because that was a tough one last week. A lot of drops. More drops than catches. I think tied. Tied. Okay. AJ Brown 16 right now in our rankings, taking on the Chicago Bears, going to expect better things here. But a little lower in the list. If you had played better last week, it could be a little higher here for us. And then the next one, we got Jeremy Bernard 21 through 30 guys, Jimmy Bernard looks like the truth. The question kind of is, how high is too high when we're ranking him because we're really excited about the production and all the volume he's been getting from Aaron Rogers. Also don't know how he performs overseas. In France. That has to be baked. It's a chance that maybe his yardage is different in France. He might be faster in France. Maybe. There's a meters. Do we get points for meters? Is that a thing? Yeah. I think the question soon is going to be, is it Metcalfa or Bernard? Yeah. The way he's playing right now. Right now it's Metcalfa. We'll see as things go on. Metcalfa is still Michael. He hit Ben Jr. And he is back. I don't know. I mean, was he extended when he got acquired? He was. He was. Right. So he's not going anywhere. That's a tough one. That's a really good question. Speaking of tough ones. I know he's had back to back weeks with 17 plus fantasy points, but are you, are you buying into the production with Jalen Daniels? Well, well, we might not have Jalen Daniels anymore. Baker may feel I think we'll practice. I'm going to be back. Certainly. He's like he is getting close to a return from that thumb injury. But even if it is Jalen Daniels, I think Ameca is trending in the right direction over the past two games, 25 targets, 16-1 game, nine and the other 13 catches for just 86 yards. It's not a surprise because the Bucks offense of line hasn't been great in Jalen Daniels. Not this particularly prolific pass or they can drive the football down the field. But over the past two games, he has a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown. So Mecca, a book, a kind of climbing into that, you know, back in wide receiver to territory. If Baker may feel it plays and this thumb injury is not something that he's dealing with. And I have a little bit of scar tissue here because the current Oklahoma quarterback, the former Oklahoma quarterback, Baker may feel John Mateer. He transferred to Oklahoma last year and was lighting the college football world on fire early. He heard his thumb. He came back and for the rest of the season, he was an entirely different player. As a matter of fact, he's been an entirely different player once again this year. But I am very mindful of how much these quarterback thumb injuries can impact them as sores. It's their primary job in an optimistic world in which Baker may field returns and is back to his usual self in short order that I think a Mecca Buka could climb even further up to the ranks to maybe a fifth top 15 wide receiver is more is a close, is a closer to wide receiver. I think that checks out really quickly. You're talking about some college prospects. You just had a top 10 come out. Did you? I did. Thank you for asking. Couple wide receivers. Couple quarterbacks inside that top 10. Yeah. Believe it or not, the Chargers currently own the number one pick in the 2027 NFL, Ohio State wide receiver. Do they get this time? Jeremiah Smith is great. Jeremiah Smith, the Ohio State wide receiver, who is everything as advertised and then do you think a quarterback is going to work their way up to one in the or do you think you're a master maker from Oklahoma State number two. And for those that watch first draft, they know that he was like my, my, my offseason game. It was, yeah. And I'm obsessed with your master maker. The Chargers at number one, if I, if I had, yeah, they would orchestrated trades or if the dolphins had the number one pick, I would have gone quarterback or Jeremiah Smith. Well, this comes back to a theory that we've been discussing. For a long time, in prior years, and I always think of this team specifically, it's not the only one that you can make this case for, but you guys can recall what it looked like for the Vikings when Kirk cousins got hurt a few years ago, disaster class, right? I'm not saying Justin Jefferson is not unbelievable, but the Vikings with the down Justin Jefferson year last year or the Vikings within without Justin Jefferson have been able to win more games and when they've had pathetic quarterback play. So even a guy who project is maybe like an above average starting quarterback is more valuable than a guy that you project as a number one, maybe top five wide receiver in the NFL. Yeah. You guys are doing weekly for stretch shows right now. Make sure to go check that out. Yeah. Love that. All right. I got one wide receiver. I just want to throw a little bit of love here. It's Devon Valey. We got him at wide receiver 33 right now. This is probably there's a decent chance. This is the last chance Karel for Devon Valey, you know, two games with over 15 fantasy points love that top set or sorry, two games as a top 15 wide receiver, top 17 fantasy points in both those games, but he also has three games under seven fantasy points. He hasn't been super consistent in spite of the fact that Tyler Schock has been throwing a lot and we've kind of liked some of the things in the Saints offense. Jordan Tyson coming back this next week. So they got the Steelers this week. I hope so. I understand. Hold on. Hold on. They got the Steelers this week. They got a buy in week nine. There's a chance. The by the time you get back in week nine against the Cleveland Browns that Jordan Tyson will be a part of this team. If not, you can still have Devon Valey for another week against the Cleveland Browns. But it's getting to a point where you're not going to be able to continue to utilize him as a potential flex. Even though he's kind of been more bad than good. But I just wanted to say, I think the sun is setting soon on the fantasy value for Devon Valey. I just want to give a little bit of love to the couple of weeks that we did get some decent production. Fair, fair. We'll see. Hopefully Jordan Tyson is back soon. Yes. And today Mickey Lumis, their GM had a presser in Paris is that he's not going to practice this week. One thing about Valey is even if Jordan Tyson returns, Valey at the worst, it's going to be a cardio king. He's going to be playing every snap for them as their wide receiver three as opposed to wide receiver two, but he will be on the field a ton. Maybe some Mark has Valdez scantling vibes from his chiefs in your back. Oh, yeah. That cardio king. All right. Let's talk about some tight ends. Tight ends here and week seven, our buddy, Colston, Lovelin made his way back up inside the top 10 after last week. I'm definitely back in on him with Caleb Williams being under center, feeling good about that situation, even though it was difficult to start the season. There's no way you can't roll with Colston, Lovelin this week after he got Caleb Williams back last week, looking at tight ends 11 through 20. We got to one Johnson just talked about it, bagel, a lot of Steelers or excuse me, a lot of saints in this episode today, but yeah, big zero last week now going on to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Eric Moody had some really great stats about Johan Johnson and what he has done when the other tight ends in New Orleans have been healthy. They had both of them healthy last week whenever they have both been healthy. John Johnson has struggled to have the same kind of production when one of them has missed time. He's done it. Correct. No offense or dope. Yeah. That's been a trend in his career. I feel like he'll be. He'll be. He'll be fine. In terms of usage, he'll be fine in fantasy, like as a mid-range tight end too. But then some of it'll go out or receiver or another tight end and then he'll see all the way up. Bumps up to touchdown game. You know, something like that. Take some hill when he was out. That always helped him. Yeah. Let's talk about heroes fan, though. Not much to say, which is kind of the problem. Yeah. Right. Is this is a guy who came into the year is like, could this be a player who turns his rookie season performance into introducing himself into that tier of top and tight ends? Yep. There's not so far. He's played six games this year, obviously. Two, five, seven and then three, one and one catches in those six games. So we've got four games with three or fewer catches. That's crazy. Back to back games with just a catch on top of that back to back games under 10 receiving yards. We've got three weeks outside the top 30. So he's completely unusable in three of his six games and it's Brown's offense a little better this year for sure. The passing offense better for sure. Denzel Boston has kind of become the guy you want. They can't hardly run the ball. And yet we still don't have Harold Fanon inside or even our top 15. It's hard to justify it, though. This is just a classic example.
of one how coaching changes can matter. Right. Kevin Stefansky in part probably because he had two last year, but also in part because I think of how he felt about the player absolutely mashed with hero fan and junior Todd Munkin and his staff have devalued it. And when I'm telling you the offense is better and the team is four and two, it's hard for me to say that Todd Munkin and his staff have it as backwards and they should instead be targeting him like Kevin Stefansky. So that's exactly what because you said this offense is better. From an actual NFL perspective, they are playing better from a fantasy perspective. It is worse for us because last year we had Harold Fanon that was delivering consistent numbers over and over. We don't have that from any past catcher. Denzel Boston has been a little bit up and down, but we've seen some good games from him. Haven't been able to trust any of the running backs. So like even though the offense is better and they're four and two, it's not better for us and fantasy football, which is frustrating. Yeah. I mean, this was to concern with fan and would they spread it around more with all the investments. And the answer is yes, they would. And by the way, we haven't seen Casey get on track yet. I think it is fair though for some criticism because the offense has not, it's better but not good. I mean, there's still average in what 1.4 touchdowns per year. It's not gracious. Like they have to score more and utilizing fan and certainly help there. Yeah. Chiefs could certainly utilize a past catcher here right now, especially with Rossi Rice not being great. Yeah. You mentioned earlier Patrick Mahomes kind of falling off for the most part. Same for Travis Kelsey. I mean, week two, he had 25.1 fantasy points and we thought, all right, this guy's in better shape, but the offense is better. He's going to be rolling this year. Well, in his other four games, he's averaging 9.2 fantasy points per game. He had a three for 71 and the 9 for 101 and a touchdown. That was week two, two for 59 and a touchdown. He scored, but he only had two targets in that game, two for 15 on four targets and four for 53 on five targets. So you're not getting much out of Travis Kelsey other than that one game and then you kind of got bailed out by the touchdown this week. They're playing the Seahawks. I will say this Kelsey's being used enough in a good enough offense and most weeks, we're still going to have them as a back end tight end one. But when you're playing Seattle, who's allowed a league low 153 yards to tight ends in six games this season, kind of scary. Tremac bride in week two is the only one, the only tight end to hit nine points against him so far. So they're allowing us about a bus game here. 25 yards per game to the tight ends basically give or take that's insane. Yeah, they're they're shutting them down. So I'm definitely worried about you know that. I think I think more. Did you student your head? You said 153 153. Yeah. So divided by six, we 25.5. Roughly, but that's not that's not exactly right, but you're close. Now I want to know. I mean, the five point. Oh, no, wait, that is right, isn't it? Is it? That is right. I field field field. The number guy you did. Yeah. I was like, Wow, this is why you're the stats guy around here. I feel like every other projections growing like every, every school has the kid who can like you can drop like, you know, 217 times like 812. Yeah. And they can do it. Yeah. Have some part of their brain that is I'm a writer friend. Locksley. I want the high school with. He was unbelievable. Great name, by the way. Locksley is a good name. Yeah. Yeah. Shout out to Locksley. All right. Let's talk about a couple of defenses. Are we good on Travis Kelsey? Yeah, we're good. Yeah. I think he's been benchable this week. Unfortunately. Yeah. Was the couple of defenses here that we could talk about. Titans taken on the brown. I mean, we just mentioned the browns might be a decent offense. You want to be able to go out. Titans have not been necessarily fantastic on defense, but they were the number one defense last week. So who has allowed the most sacks so far this season? Cleveland Browns, guys. I do like that. Yep. All right. We got a fantasy face off. Welcome back Vikings, defense and fight. And we'll record. Oh, number one, both positions. So I would say the most valuable at both positions. So I have been last week. Kickers scored a lot of fantasy points. You know, it's been really disappointing though. So far from the kicker perspective. Yeah. I do. The guy everyone was reaching on it. I told you not to stop drafting kickers, right? I'm not reaching on kickers. Yeah. Every this happens nonstop. I always let you down. It is always I always let you down. This is every year for the history of fantasy football. As soon as you're like, all right, we got it. It's been a couple of years in a row. This guy is never going to fail. Yeah. Brandon Aubrey, what? 23rd and fantasy points? Cameron Dinkers. Not that far behind. Goodness gracious. I just wanted to wait up before we got into this cycle. You finally got me. I tried that one. That one does. That one does. I don't know. I don't know. It's not fail. All right. Go. You know where to go with it. We're doing fantasy face off. Field is the judge. Again, it is going to be me versus Michael Lester Clay, Jr. We're talking quarterbacks. First Mike, do you want to go first with CJ Stroud? Or do you want me to go first with Jared Goff? Go ahead. Floor. Sure. All right. Floor is mine, guys. Let's talk about Jared Goff. I'm stunned. Daniel was the one that chose Jared Goff. I've got quarterback. You know what? I didn't I didn't choose him. By the way, this was chosen for us. I have Jared Goff at quarterback six taken on the Packers. Here's the good thing about Jared Goff so far this year. Did you know that he has at least 300 passing yards or multiple passing touchdowns in every single game this season? Just found that out. Most of them, he actually has multiple passing touchdowns and 300 passing yards. It's been a very good quarterback this year. Week one, 20 fantasy points. Week two, 37.8 fantasy points. Week three, 23.3 fantasy points. Week four, 22.5 fantasy points. Are you guys disappointed yet? Week five, 34.9 fantasy points. He hasn't been under 20 fantasy points yet this year. And this is going to be the biggest test for the green Bay Packers defense quarterbacks. They have faced this year. Carson Wentz, Tyson Pagin, Jalund Daniels, Gino Smith, Michael Penix, and Dak Prescott, who was awful when they played him. Jared Goff is in an unbelievable spot and has continued to air it out against this Packers team was probably going to have to continue to throw to keep up with them, which is why we love Jared Goff as a top six quarterback this week, guys. Okay. Well done. I think that it's unfair to just blame Dak for stinking. I mean, the Packers defense, all of them to 11 points. So pretty good job by them, pretty good effort. They work with low CPA against the past so far this season. By the way, Jared Goff, no, you didn't mention this. I'm helping your cause a little bit. I have to give you you give me zero picks, zero picks, zero on T's leads the NFL and interceptions this season. The green Bay Packers, I think he throws an interception this week. That's going to be a minus two. And I'll be the difference because he's going to get out scored this week. Daniel by C. J Stroud. No, I've only said positive things about to be clear. 20 plus fantasy points. You said that's a good number three straight games with 20 plus points. That is. That is good. Top five fantasy score, two of the past three weeks at the position. We've seen this from this guy before. He was QB nine as a rookie a few years ago and they're playing. They have a good matchup. The Cowboys have a tough matchup or excuse me, the lines have a tough matchup. The Texans get the giants. They've got the seventh most fantasy points. According to quarterbacks, 27 plus points to Tyler Schuck and Jaden Daniels over the past two weeks. So give me C. J Stroud this week specifically, maybe not long term, but this week it's got it's a shroud. I forgot my gavel here today, both compelling arguments. I actually like both of these guys today, but I fear not the giant's defense. So Mike gets the first one for frustrating. Let's go. All right. Fine, guys. All right. That means Mike goes first with the running backs. You got who? Well, you mean the guy think I think this was my guy last week as well. So this will make it easy because this guy's been money. He's got their pasted all your stuff from last week. Well, I had just updated the stats because we had another good game because this guy delivers one after the next after the next Chavante Williams. He's been money in the bank. The guy, one of the boringest picks in fantasy this year, but just money every single week. 18.2 fantasy points per game this season. That's RB 10. He has eight touchdowns and six games eight touchdowns and six games. He sounds like a regular Derek Henry out there this year. He's 15th and carries ninth and target. So you're getting it as a ball carrier, getting at the goal line. You're getting in the passing game and the Eagles generally thought of as a good defense. Not this year. It was a fifth worst EPA against the run. They've been pretty awful. So Chavante Williams in another good spot against the Eagles. Game script should be good. What's not to like a bunch of onto one more time. Just for those that maybe don't understand when you say EPA, give me an understanding of what EPA means to you. Expected points added. So just just it's a way to instead of just like leaning on yards and touchdowns, you're actually looking at efficiency on a specific specific play for and it's played by play by play. So you can just figure out the value how well how well each unit and each player is playing. So without getting two into the weeds, that's essentially what it is. It's an efficiency stat for each player and each team. I don't need to get in the weeds with this one because I'm going to talk about John and then Taylor guys. You know, he's just good at football. He is 21 plus fantasy points in four of six games of this season. He's RB four in touches this season. He's doing some things. He has four targets in five of his six games, at least three targets in the other game. So he's been getting passing game work as well. Understanding they're playing Minnesota. This is an awful matchup. Let's just be honest about that. I'm not going to try to highlight that it's anything good about it. Only two running backs. I've hit double digit fantasy points against the Minnesota Viking. So far, the city that was Deandre Swift and Ali Gordon scored 18 fantasy points, but how did Ali get there? By the way, nine carries 100 explosive plays. Is that in Jonathan Taylor's bag? I understand it's going to be a tough matchup against this Viking's defense, but John and the Taylor with the receiving game work and the fact that he has been touching the ball so much and the touchdown equity. I am still in on him over a Javante Williams. How do you bench JT and fantasy? Well, we're not saying bench him, but if you have the choice here, you're going Javante. But also he's out loud, averaging a career low for yards per car. He has fewer touchdowns than Javante Williams. By the way, I just want to give you one more stat on that Viking's defense. The most points scored by a running back room as a collective against indices and the most is 20.7. All right. So I do think that that Mike probably presented a more compelling case for his guy. Okay. So I won, but I'm going with Jonathan Taylor. I agree. You can pick Jonathan. Do you get picked? You can against Minnesota. It's you're picking against the Vikings defense. So your disrespect. I don't really have the case isn't like Jonathan Taylor has had a couple of - By the way, yes, Jonathan Taylor, yes. - Yes, Jonathan Taylor.
Taylor is the guy, you can't award it to Daniel, a whole point is who made the better case and I just can't, you just admitted, I did. So how are you giving it to him? Sorry. I'm sorry. Who's the judge? Yes, I'm going to say, first of all, it's your honor. Nice. Oh, your honor. This makes no sense when you address me. I have them. You're on our compelments. You're going to be held in contempt if you don't calm down. I will be how well. Can we get a security in here right now? All right. Last one because I don't really get to our bus. Let's talk about some, I want to talk about a wide receiver. Malign neighbors. I got a wide receiver. Five this week. Guys, wide receiver. Five. You want to know why? Last three weeks, 23.2 fantasy points, 29.1 fantasy points, 28.5 fantasy points, three straight weeks against NFL teams, three straight weeks over 23 fantasy points. He had 35 targets over the last two weeks combined. He has been smashing and is one of the biggest target getters right now in the game. And it didn't make a difference whether or not it was James Winston or it was JJ McCarthy under center. It was one game, but he was QB agnostic for that game. And he looked unbelievable. There's no way with the run that Malign neighbors is on right now as a pass catcher. And how bad the running game is right now in New York. I am in on him as a top five wide receiver. Start a little slow with a season coming back from that injury, getting back into everything. Now you're seeing the guy that he is. He's a top five wide receiver rest of the season guys. I'm at seven on him. And I don't not like Malign neighbors, but I mean, CD lamb is clearly the superior player right now. He's averaging CD lamb. Get ready for this. Ready. One E five point six fantasy points per game this year. CD lamb has been money, 12.8 targets per game in his five healthy games. That includes at least 18 targets in two straight games. He's 18 targets now in two straight games. By the way, I mentioned the Eagles struggles against their run their top five in yards and fantasy points like the receivers as well. So they've been struggling there. The last four weeks, Jalen cocker and Teterone Macmillan both have 14 plus against Eagles, Parker Washington, 30.4 Pukin to Kua, 27 Ray cleaf Raymond and Luther Bird and both had 19 plus and week three. They've been horrific. CD lamb has been heavily targeted, heavily productive, easy call here. Oh, I forgot to mention that the Malign neighbors are going up against the Houston Texans, who CD lamb scored 41 points against Jamal chase scored 26, also DJ Moore scored 20, also Keenan Allen scored 18 great match up on my side. We've taken well, Houston's faced the most receiver targets this season. So of course, those numbers are inflated, but who you who which defense are you taking right now? Houston's or Philly's? I mean, it's close. I don't think it's close right now. It's close. Um, did you look at those match? Yeah, they do. Yeah. She was match that too. That looks really nice, man. Thank you very much. I appreciate that. Yeah. Anything else? No, I have nothing to say. Okay. Well, then by lot, that logic, Malign neighbors secure the way in for Daniel. That's right. This reminds me of Tony Wally scoring around the whole. Exactly. It was totally arbitrary. Consent. No, I'm not playing that game. I'm bringing facts to the table. I can't wait to do it again. All right. Let's get to the fun stuff. Busts breakouts and sleepers. I thought I was going to look bad. And another board at a hand. Look, things feel brought to the table. I brought, well, I brought a bonus one because I was so mad. All right. All right. Cause you can actually put two of them together. Um, here we go. Number one bus of the 2026 fantasy football season so far is the quarterback who is 35th in fantasy points per game. Wait, how many teams are there 32? Oh, I'm getting this frustration out. Allow me to be frustrated. The pissed off. Cause who could have ever possibly believed in Justin Herbert. That's right. Justin Herbert, the biggest bust in all fantasy football, his best finish this year. You want to guess what it is for a week? You want to guess? 22. Damn it, Mike. How do you know what everyone is? I knew he had no top 22. Justin Herbert's best finish this season is 22. You know, it's cool. Is he actually had a passing touchdown a week's one through five? Yeah, I did just one of them though. Every single one of those games, one measly touchdown in each of those first five games. He had zero in week six, Justin Herbert. And by the way, this is one of those as like an album, Justin Herbert featuring a Mario Hampton because he stinks too. Maureen Hampton, who's now part of a three man committee. And part of my ranking here is, do I think there's any chance that the player turns it around going forward? And my feelings on Herbert, no chance. My feeling on a Maureen Hampton, basically no chance as well. The only saving grace from Maureen Hampton actually making this list is he was okay in weeks one and two. He has three touchdowns, but he has 3.7 or fewer yards for carry in four of his six games. He has one top 20 finish all season. He's in a three man committee. You are not overlooked here of Maureen Hampton. Can I also just quickly say that when Justin Herbert said I'm winning off the field, it just infuriated me even more as a fantasy man. Was that real was that AI? I thought it was AI. I think it's real. If it's not real, someone please tell me in his defense. I mean, he's not wrong. I just don't want to hear it as a fantasy manager. Totally. That's fair. Number two, we're all winning off the field too. We're not. We're just not packing it in on. We're still showing a ranking show, you know. Number two. And again, this is about what does the player can get back on track the rest of this season? Sequel on Barclay, who is perhaps the highest player in terms of ADP that we will mention during this segment. Sequel on Barclay, who of course has missed the past couple of games because of injury has yet to score a touchdown this season. That could have been that's terrible it's awful. He has exactly one catch in the four games that he has played. One catch each not a factor in the passing game whatsoever. Maybe that changes with Tanner McKee. Maybe has zero touchdowns. His four game to DS played 83 rushing yards, nine rushing yards, 82 rushing yards, eight rushing yards. Okay. So you're like, Oh, that seems pretty good. 83 rushing yards, 82 with zero zero in the passing game. Yes, Lee. And also no touchdowns. So no, I'm not happy with Sequel's performance. And he's currently hurt. Maybe he returns to practice tomorrow. He's one of two running backs on the Eagles 53 man roster. So it certainly seems like he's going to be back on Monday night. But the offensive line is broken. The offense is broken. Sequel on Barclay, massive bus. Only way that changes. If that for some reason they traded him, which I don't think they will. Sequel on Barclay. Man, this feels good to get these. Yeah, I'm glad field. This feels like therapy. Just send back here letting you vent. Thank you. Yeah, I like it. This came scatter. We even play anymore. Not really, not last week. He did not play. Well, he played six snaps. He got zero carries. Did Kim scataboo. Kim scataboo, who at least they cut Nazi hair. It's a game thing though. Yeah. Yeah. Game. It wasn't a punishment. No, guys. It was a game. But even when Kim scataboo was playing, he was bad. He had to touch down all the way back in week one. But this guy has not been anywhere close to the player that we thought he was going to be. The guy was amazing last season. He was on every billboard. The Jackson Dart wasn't on or Jalen Brunson this off season. And he's done diddly poo. So far this year, game scataboo, six major bust. Yeah, all right. Oh, you know, that I mentioned Jalen Waddle. Not yet. That guy been on non good. The answer is terrible. 6.4 or fewer fantasy points in four of his six games. What is Jalen Waddle's strength? Speed, right? That's fast. I can fly. He's got 35 or fewer receiving yards in five of his six games. Not five of his six games with a catch under 35 yards. 35 or fewer receiving yards total in the entire game. Five of six times. He has one game with a 20 plus yard catch. Way to go Broncos. You trade everything for this guy. And you hardly utilize him. Sean Payton's wife is probably pissed off because she drafted him in fantasy at her husband's recommendation. He stinks. I mentioned Jalen price. Not yet. Yeah, then Jalen price. I need this one. 4.67 fantasy points per game. That's not a misspeak by me. That's not only non PPR. That is in PPR scoring part of the reason why he has four catches. He hardly gets all the work. He's been hurting out for a few weeks. That sharpener is going to come back this week. It sounds like on top of that when they get to the goal line, get this big powerful back, right? You draft him 30 second overall because of his between the tackle running skills. They go, Hey, Emmanuel Wilson, I know that you've been largely just a guy in the NFL, but you get the goal line carries. Yeah. And if it's not you, maybe we'll give it to George Holanie, Jerry and price terrible. No optimism for him going forward. And a bonus one that I actually am sort of hopeful to turn things around is Jeremiah love. Jeremiah love the third overall pick in the draft. Yeah. Big investment by Arizona. What do they do when they bring them on to the field? Not a whole lot. It's like, Hey, do you want to watch Tyler Algier pass protect a little bit more? Maybe you can pass protect. We need to keep you in pass pro because we can't protect our quarterback. Yes. What's the point? Maybe you should draft an offensive lineman instead. Wouldn't that have been smart and offensive tackle that could actually pass protect. She's Arizona. We'll see whether he plays or not this week, but yeah, he's been a bust. I'd even mentioned like 20 other guys that have been frustrated me. These are the first six that came to mind. I love it. Are you good? I feel better. Yeah. You feel a little better. I feel a little bit freshers. Hi. Yeah. I love it. Their hair is falling apart. You can do some hair too. All right. I'm off guys. Oh, wow. By the way, yesterday, according to one of our bosses, Tom Decority, fellow pistons fan. That's right. I'm sort of mad at Tom and Daniel right now. That's a lot of fly. I think yesterday was the 30th anniversary of Jim Morris. Didley Poo rant. Was it? Tom suggests right there. I love that. That is hilarious. Love that. All right. Talking about guys that have exceeded expectations. We're talking about breakouts here for this week. You're going to spend a more positive now. I do not start with Ken Walker, the third guys. He's RB two on the season. Here's what he's done. 34 fantasy points, 23 fantasy points, 21 fantasy points, 30.9 fantasy points, 20.7 and week five. In spite of the fact that he was on a buy, don't fact check that. And then 27.9 in week six as well. The dude is unbelievable. Averaging over 27 fantasy points per game. Second in rush attempts and ninth in targets per game. The dude is unreal. Matthew Golden has been awesome. He's been golden. He has been absolutely.
541 fantasy points on 12 targets. These are his last four, 11.7, 20.3 and 22.4. He's wide receiver six and fantasy points over the last month. Wide receiver six in targets over the last month. And he is going to be a top 10 option against my Detroit Lions here in week seven. There is a 100% chance that Golden Showers fantasy managers with points in Detroit. Hope you brought your umbrella guys. Next one up we have another breakout. Let that one slide. Jalen cocker, Jalen cocker has only played three full healthy games this year guys. If you look at his three healthy games, he's averaging 21.37 fantasy points. That would be wide receiver three on the season. He's averaging 20.3 targets per game. That's wide receiver four on the season. When Jalen cocker, 10.3, did I say 20.3? - That would be a lot of targets. I meant 10.3. - That's like a C-Lam level of targets. - Okay. - That's the kind of low profile. - Okay. - He has been unbelievable. I think the strength of the schedule for the Panthers does get a little bit more difficult moving forward. But Jalen cocker has been unbelievable. Like actually better than Tedro and McMillan. When he is healthy and they're both playing. And then I got two more. Quarterback spot, Tyler Schuck. Quarterback 12 and points per game. But quarterback six and total points. You said this earlier and I'm glad that you said it. - Yes. - One of those games was against the Vikings. It was brutal. Most quarterbacks I think this year are gonna have a throwaway game against the Minnesota Vikings. This was Tyler Schucks. If you take that one out, he looks so much better. 22 plus fantasy points in four of his six games. And he's getting reinforcements, Jordan. Tyson coming back eventually. Travis Hian coming back eventually. He's got more rushing upside than Bryce Young, who was the other one that was in this consideration here. 'Cause Bryce has been great. But Tyler Schuck has been unbelievable and last one at the tight end spot. It can't not be Isaiah likely. Tight end two and targets per game. Tight end two and points per game. Tight end three and receptions per game. Tight end two and receiving yards per game. He has absolutely smashed and been everything that we could have ever hoped with him coming over from Baltimore to the Giants. And being the number one tight end finally, no one smashed like Isaiah likely has when this comes to break out. - You should wonder what the Ravens were doing with him. - The whole time. - Maybe he would do it. - And Mark Andrews. - That's it. - I know. - By the way, to your point, Panthers go from second easiest to fifth hardest schedule for wide receivers. The fantasy play has Bengals, Steelers, and Seahawks with everything on the line and weeks to have a team. So heads up if you're invested in that offense. - Love that. The positivity on the other side of field's negativity. Mike, what are you doing here? - Yeah, a field grant left me with little time. So we're just going to fly right through these guys here. I'm going to count them down from bottom to top here. - Oh, that's awesome. - Kyla Murray is fifth on my sleeper list going forward. Coming off a good game against the Saints. Remember, this guy's been top 12 in points per game every year of his career prior to last year when he was injured, good receivers there. And by the way, Vikings quarterbacks. Easiest. Rest of seasons. - Love that. - And I on Kyla Murray. Number four on my list. - How about Chris Bell. And I'll even include Malik Willis on this. Chris Bell and the Dolphins receivers go from second hardest to six easiest scheduled Malik Willis from third hardest to ninth easiest for a quarterback. They're trying to get Chris Bell going. He had four for 67 and week three and eight targets. He lost a long touchdown recently to an inch when his foot was on the goal line. Any DJ Turner shadowed him when they played the Dolphins two weeks ago. They gave him some serious respect. He's playing a lot and he's very talented player. Malik Washington, by the way, is a 28% target share this season too. So might want to include him on here as well. - What did Chris Bell come into the NFL draft with an injury of? - ACL. - It was an ACL. 'Cause he would've been drafted much higher, right? - Yeah, I feel, do you like to meant before the injury as a late first, right? - Yeah. - So keep an eye on him. Thurna and Les Chico Conquo. We talked about it at the top. Terry McClaurne's out for the season, but sir. - Conquo kind of sneaky even before that because he was injured. He missed a couple of games. But he is trending up now 20% plus target share and two straight six plus targets in each of those games. Last week he played, he is route participation on that Monday night game is 84%. Guys, that's a career high for Chico Conquo who was busy during his time in Tennessee. So very interesting. I think he very well could sneak into the top 12 of the tight end going forward. I would also include the receivers, Antonio Williams, a trailer in Berks on this list as well. - Yep. - Number two on my list. Thurna Denver, this is a more higher profile name, but name to watch. J.K. Dobbins and trending the right direction. I think you can include Bonix here as well. The schedule is lightening up, lightening up. - Lightening up. - Lightening up. - Lightening up. Thundering up. I don't know. It's getting easier. Broncos offense goes from the hardest, if you look at EPA, they've had the hardest schedule so far. So I could explain why their offense has been struggling. It's easiest going forward. Denver running backs go from 21st schedule to the easiest schedule going forward. And J.K. Dobbins has 20 touches and one touchdown in two straight games. 17 plus carries and three of his last four, two plus targets and four straight. So just enough there. He also has five carries inside the five. That matches his total from last year. So kind of sneaky. The volume that J.K. Dobbins is getting and the schedule gets much easier. - He only had five carries inside the five, the entirety of the season. - He did, and he missed the chunk of it injured, but he played more than he already has this year. And he only had five. So trending the right way for him. And the number one sleeper on my list. - Yes, baby. - Let's go, we don't even know if he's going to start this week, but he's in the projections for now. It's JJ McCarthy. - It's just like deja vuol over again. - Yeah, you like a lot of it. - Sure is, it sure is. Well, it worked with Matthew Golden, like in just a year early. - Never really. - Never really. I'm McCarthy all over the map last season. But remember, he had some big games. 18 plus fantasy points and four of his eight full games last year. So half the time he got you 18 plus a lot of rushing, you had three rushing touchdowns. Last week, he steps in just 21 pass attempts. 243 yards had a touchdown and a pick also 26 rushing yards. And his supporting cast here is really good, of course, with league neighbors and who you just mentioned, Isaiah likely. And the giants have had the easiest schedule so far for a quarterback. It's six easiest going forward. So it remains like McCarthy gets a chance to start with what he can do with his legs. And we'll see with his arm. He's a sleeper. I'm not saying he's a lock to be a QB1, but he certainly fits the bill of a sleeper. By the way, a couple others that just missed the list. Christian Kirk in San Francisco. Turns Ferguson, but he's still probably a couple of weeks away. Casey conceives the on the volume in the short area. He's been really good for him. Fernando Mendoza, if he gets a chance to start for the Raiders. Savian Williams in Green Bay, who's stepping right into that slot job there. And of course, Jordan Tyson, who we talked about earlier. - Love that. - Good list, Michael. - Great list. - All right, let's dive into the mail bag here really quickly. No Eric Moody today. He's out doing some things. He's allowed a day off every once in a while, guys. So big shout out to Eric though. This one's from Mish wants to know is lad dropable for some rookie upside guys like Omar Cooper or a more stable guy over the past few weeks like Ryan Flanoi, who has a nice schedule the next couple of weeks. - Guys, I have a strong take here and it's no, I, Flanoi definitely. He's kind of buried. He'll have a, he'll hit here or there, but he's the three in the Dallas offense unless there's an injury. He's not going to be a standalone starter. And I kind of feel the same about Omar Cooper. Like he might have a cup of tea again as a flex here. This suit maybe a wide receiver three of 80 Mitchell remains out. We'll see, but Mitchell will be back soon. I don't think he's going to be a consistent option. And I do think that once it comes back from the buy and lad is healthy, yeah, he's going to be productive. He just has not been healthy and it's been a bad luck for the most part, including a concussion. It's just bad breaks for him, but I feel like there are offense, Justin Herbert's not going anywhere, right? Like he's still going to be the guy. They're going to be a little better than they've been, hopefully, and that's going to be enough for him with a quarter of the targets to be a fantasy starter. I still believe in lad that he'll settle in as a fantasy starter this year. I would like to think there's someone else that is worse than lad McConkey on my bench that I could add one of those two guys for because I'm with you. I would stick with lad. I mean, Cooper specifically is a fine bench. Absolutely. I don't think I have. All right. Another question here from our chat. This one comes from Jasmine and Christian. Hey guys, I have the most points in my two QB league with one thousand eighty five. I also have the most points scored against the one thousand sixty eight. I'm two and four. Do I panic or will it eventually balance out to unfortunately balance out without this question? These are the easiest ones. It's like just ride the wave here. You don't have to go ten and four. You might have to just get to eight and six and you'll be fine. Come play off. Yeah. Unless there's a reason why you think your players are there her or going to go the wrong direction. But otherwise, yes, keep moving forward. A great. If your team is scoring that many points, you don't get to choose how they play defense. Yeah. You just keep rolling with the offense. You got another question here from our chat. This one comes from Matt Chris wants to know full PPR. T Higgins. Luther Burton. Bucky Irving. Josh Jacobs. I'm going to lean Bucky. Bucky is my other pick. Yeah, Burton's close call. But Bucky and T for me. Yep. I think that's fair too. I would want to wait a week on Josh Jacobs just before I throw him out there with those four guys. Red alert 206. Fields. Appropriate handball. You're bust. You're bust rant. Definitely got a chat all worked up. Get him fields. That's how we're feeling. I don't you know, everyone else feels the same way that you do. Yeah. We all like angry field. Thank you. Yes. It felt good. It felt good. It really comes out. It was very cathartic. Super saying fields. You guys know what super saying is? No Julian saying. Ohio State quarterback. Oh, it's you guys need to watch some anime. Go cultured. Anyway. All right, guys. We're not going to do random ranks because field just, you know, went too long on this. We'll maybe do it another day. Wow. We're going to do it tomorrow. Sorry about that. All right. Cool. But thanks for hanging out with us on a Wednesday and make sure you come back and hang out with us on a Thursday. Eric Moody. We're going to be angry because you ruined our sex as well as the rest of us. We're going to fight it out here at the end of the show. Don't forget to love each other. You can just fight and be climbed to yourself. You guys you deserve it. We'll fight Tyler. We'll see you guys tomorrow.

FAQs
Josh Allen is ranked as QB 1 due to his consistent performance, including over 23 fantasy points in each of the last three games, despite some recent underperforming games. His ability to deliver in big moments and strong recent stats justify his top spot.
Patrick Mahomes has struggled with low fantasy points (17 or fewer in three straight games) and limited rushing production. His matchup against Seattle, a team with a league-low defense against quarterbacks, further reduces his value, placing him at QB 20.
Matthew Stafford is performing strongly with 20+ fantasy points in three of his last five games, leading the NFL in passing attempts, completions, and yards. His game against the Raiders, a high-scoring team, makes him a solid top-10 quarterback option.
Yes, Josh Jacobs is expected to return this week. Despite being out for six weeks, his fantasy value is high against the Lions, who have struggled against running backs. He is projected to have around 12 carries and 2-3 targets, making him a viable RB2 flex option.
Malignant Neighbors is highlighted as a breakout wide receiver with three straight weeks over 23 fantasy points and 35 targets in two weeks. He is considered a top-5 option, especially against the Houston Texans, who have heavily targeted receivers.
Jerome Love is viewed as a potential breakout based on his participation in a kids' camp despite an ankle injury. While not at full speed, his involvement suggests he may return and could provide value as a flex option.
