Week 6 Winners & Losers: Biggest Takeaways From Every Game! (10/18 Fantasy Football Podcast)
1h 18m 29s
Fantasy Football Week 6 saw a dramatic decline in scoring compared to Week 5, with only two quarterbacks—Trevor Lawrence and Kenneth Walker—reaching 30+ PPR points. Jeremy Bernard and Luther Burton stood out as top winners due to strong receiving performances, especially with high target shares and effective route-running. Meanwhile, several players like Michael Wilson and Romo Dunesay struggled, with poor production and tough matchups leading to their placement on the losers’ list. Tight ends Colson Loveland and Kyle Pits showed promising growth, with increased targets and playing time, though they remain in the starting conversation rather than as must-starts. Defensive injuries were widespread, including key losses for the Patriots, Atlanta, and Eagles, impacting offensive dynamics and game outcomes. Injuries also left fantasy managers with limited roster depth, especially in wide receiver and running back units. Caleb Williams had a standout game with a career-high completion rate (83.3%) and multiple touchdowns, though limited rushing raises questions about his role. The Eagles' offense, despite a weak defense, showed inconsistency due to poor quarterback play, particularly from Tanner McKee, and low target distribution. The game against the Saints highlighted a defensive collapse in the fourth quarter, with the Giants losing 34-27, underscoring the volatility of fantasy outcomes in high-stakes matchups. Overall, the week emphasized the importance of injury awareness, roster flexibility, and player consistency in shaping fantasy success.
>> This is Fantasy Football today from CBS Sports. >> So what a play! >> Can you believe this? >> It's a no again. >> It's time to dominate your fantasy league. >> To the races, play stays on his feet. >> Just gotta go to the distance. >> Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath. [MUSIC] >> Well, in week five, we had 14 players at any position score 30 or more PPR fantasy points. And six points for passing touchdown leagues, okay? Quarterback, running to whatever position. 30 or more fantasy points. We had 14. That was including Sunday night and Monday night. How many do we have right now before Sunday night football? >> For week six? >> Yeah, for week six. 14 last week, haven't- >> Not that, and nowhere near as many as- >> Zero? >> Yeah, zero. >> No, no, no, there's at least one. I'm gonna say two, because there's two quarterbacks that I did not have top 12 that ended up- >> Yeah, shot was long. >> Shot was one, and Trevor Lawrence is the other. >> And that is it, that is it. I mean, it's more touchdowns, we'll do that for you. >> I don't think Drake May got to 30. He's at 29, Nondesimo, I don't think he got to 30. So yeah, it's two, it's unbelievable. And the top, Nond quarterback is- >> Kenneth Walker. >> Yeah. >> Whoa, Blake Neighbors. >> Blake Neighbors, Blake Neighbors. Kenneth Walker just behind him. Neighbors with a- >> I cannot wait to just watch you the rest of the season run for Jay-Dame McCarthy. >> It's Walker and non-PPRs and not- >> It's Walker and non-PPR. >> Who cares about non-PPR? >> For sure. >> A lot of people care about it. Anyway, welcome to the show, everybody. Winners, losers, injuries, not too many of them, knock on wood, and a recap of every game. Tight ends, we're interesting. It's Colson Loveland and Kyle, pits bounce back. >> They're back. >> Yeah, he's gonna talk about them as his winners. The Rams and the Cardinals have the same record. But let's start with the biggest winner. You know, Jamie, why don't I give this one to you biggest winner for Fantasy Week 6. >> Oh, God, we picked up off waivers this week. Jeremy Bernard. I mean, that was awesome. Suck that Pat Furrier Moose didn't do much today. But the other two receivers were fantastic. And despite the fact of a moderate game for Aaron Rodgers, took overtime from the get, you know, to have a decent day. But the targets were amazing for both Bernard and Metcalfe. And hopefully that's gonna continue for the rest of the season. And then my other winner, just to wrap it all up as the lovely graphic is up. Luther Burton, you know, we said there's gonna be two receivers for the Bears that do well this week, just based on the Falcon's track record. And it was Burton and Loveland. So, Odunzay, I'm sure, we'll have his moments and Clevray. And I'm sure we'll have his moments. But if you tell me the rest of season, we're getting this from Burton and Loveland, everybody's gonna be happy. >> Jeremy Bernard, just back to him, 76% rostered 51% started. I think that start percentage is gonna be 80% or higher next week. I made one stupid decision. Well, I guess one stupid. Oh, yeah, I guess one. I mentioned that. >> I told you to charge. >> Go ahead. >> You bet you're super who? >> AJ Brown. >> No, you've never been. >> I've never been with it on that. >> AJ Brown left a lot of fantasy points on the table. >> Yeah. >> A lot. >> The, like, who knew a player could shake off that much rest in one game. >> [LAUGH] >> I hope he doesn't have any left. It was gross. >> Yeah, that was bad. 10 targets, encouraging stuff other than all the drops and stuff. All right, so biggest winners, Jeremy Bernard, and also an honorable mention to Luther Burton. Keith, let's go to Keith, who's the biggest loser this week? >> Why would I get the biggest loser? >> I don't know. >> I got it if you don't. >> Great day if I feel like you're in the loser panel. >> Well, no, no, I've got it. >> Yes. >> I put it on the list. >> Camp Scataboo. >> Yes. >> We got the heads up this morning. It was funny at, like, 12.53, I told my son. >> I took it that time up. >> 12.53, I said, sounds like Najee Harris is starting over Camp Scataboo today. And he starts freaking out and going through his phone. He's like, Damien Pierce or Tyler Adjier. And I said, Damien Pierce. And so he dropped Kyle Pits to pick up Damien Pierce, to start over Camp Scataboo. >> Well, that worked at least. I mean, Pierce? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> It worked. No, just like, when I heard that he was going to be benched, I thought it was going to be benched. And yeah, Najee Harris gets the first few carries. He looks like what he's looked like all season. And he did. And then we'll see Camp Scataboo worked back in. He did play a little bit. I saw him blocking as a fullback on one play, I believe. Just a disastrous result. And Tyrone Tracy scored two touchdowns. So they've got to be feeling okay about him right now. >> Did you hear Carbaw's explanation after the game? >> He wasn't benched. >> Yeah, it was ridiculous. And even Scataboo said, I knew I was going to play less. I didn't think I'd get zero touches. He said, but it's my fault. He said, I'm getting punished and I deserve it basically. But I think the question is, right? You got Houston next week, great run defense. And then you've got to buy. Is it even worth keeping Camp Scataboo at this point? >> So ask the question, Dave does this a lot. You see Camp Scataboo on waivers, you're going to pick them up. I'm sure everybody's going to say yes. And just to see what happens. >> I think the way it works, at least in most of my leagues, is there's like three teams next week that are going to have no choice. They have to drop Camp Scataboo and they can't pick them up. They see them on waivers. And there's probably three teams that are going to be putting in bids for Camp Scataboo because they have the roster death at this point. I had a lot of teams this week for my bench. Literally had zero projected points between injuries and butt. And so if you're in that situation and you've got Camp Scataboo, you're going to have to make a move. >> Some Nash Waves says, Camp Scataboo out Amari and Hampton. >> So what's the, what's the all bus non-injury team right now? I think you got Hampton and Scataboo. >> Hampton, I mean, look, you could argue Barkley even. >> Hey, that's it. >> Yeah, but he hasn't. >> No, but I mean, he's been bad even when he-- >> I'm just saying, throughout it, we'll put the-- >> We can't find a full team of players that haven't been hurt, Jamie. >> If you sucked and you're injured, that's a different team. >> Herbert or quarterback? >> Scataboo Hampton. So Herbert, Scataboo Hampton, Jalen Waddle. >> Chase Brown is definitely on this. >> Yeah, he's not as bad as that. >> He's not worse than those two. >> No, but he was drafted for a close earlier than Scataboo. >> We can put Scataboo in a flex. >> We can't. >> Who are the wide receivers, though? >> Waddle for sure. >> Yeah, he's got to be there. >> The wide receivers have been pretty good, huh? >> I guess Marvin Harrison? >> No, he was like a six-round picker. >> Man, it has been a good year for those wide receivers. My goodness. >> No, there's got to be one. >> Like, Ibuka has basically been a bust. >> No, last two weeks, you don't get it. >> Yeah, yeah, he's putting that back to us. >> That's how far you got to go, because I can't say Maconkie. He plays one-quarter every game. >> I burden, it was basically bolt burden and no dunes A, we're a busts. >> No, I don't think burden. >> James and Williams may. >> I mean, no, dunes A doesn't have a touchdown yet this year. And he has one game with more than two. >> But no, dunes A wasn't drafted that much. >> Right, I'm just trying to like get a bait. I'm just trying to fill roster spots on our all busts. >> Looking at the CBS ADP and no, dunes A and burden, we're back-to-back, burdened. >> Did you say Quentin Johnson? >> No, I mean, like if you're going to go with that, I would go Godwin over Johnson. >> Right, we were taking. >> Somebody was taking. >> Ryan Thomas, Jr. >> Yeah, no. >> I'm telling you, the wide receiver's been awesome. >> Yeah, all right. Well, that's a topic for another show, but that's a good question. I mean, you can argue like George Pickens has been, he was for last week. Yeah, they've all been pretty good. A little worried about Nico Collins right now, though. Not that he's a bust, but a little worried about- >> Dude, he just shot awesome. >> Target shot, I know. >> Yes he is. >> Two straight games with a pretty bad target chair for Nico. But anyway, our biggest winner, Jeremy Bernard, a biggest loser, camscat, a boo. FFT dynasty, Heath, what's on the radar with FFT dynasty? >> You know, it's trying to be a little bit more patient with all of these wild happenings in the NFL. With last week, we talked about some guys and kind of like whether they're just busts or they're by-lose. We got a little bit of rookie talk coming up. We broke into the 2027 class just a little bit last week. The wider view. >> Okay, good stuff. Also, Dylan says we need the- >> La. >> From a few years ago from Heath. I don't know which one it is. I'm just gonna play this. I hope it's this one. >> Yeah, that's awesome. >> Thank you, it was, you know, Jeremy Bernard covers a lot of blah. >> Pretty good stuff for Jeremy Bernard. Now, over time, certainly helped the Steelers, but Bernard was having a very good game before that he caught his touchdown and over time, though. Rodgers, though, if you started Rodgers, if you started Cousins, my goodness. Yeah, to wait until the very end of those- >> Dude, dude, I started Cousins with like seven leagues. I led the Sleepers column with Cousins and Tucker, and then I put DFS lineups in there and one of the stacks I had was Cousins and Tucker. It was like, this is brutal. I'm like, oh, this is pretty cool. >> Nice. >> I knew some notes, so the Giants bench, James Winston, Jay-Jama McCarthy came in and scored something like 18 fantasy points in the fourth quarter, and did they say anything about it after the game? It must have- >> I'm sure nobody's saying anything in the New York media about the world. >> I know, but I haven't seen anything. What did he say? Even the recap, didn't see anything in the recap? >> I'm sorry, there's something. >> Right, but is it weird that we don't know what it is? Anyway, find it. Philadelphia running back. >> I guess as James is starting next week.
and you're not starting either one of them. - No, I think Jamis probably starts next week at Houston. If he struggles, you go into your buy, you switch to McCarthy. It kind of seems like the right example of the wall. Really no running back injuries. That Carson steal for the Eagles left in the first quarter. And maybe that gave Damien Pierce more opportunities to catch pass. This is called four of them, I believe. - You did? - Lad Maconkey, concussion, Romeo dobs, shoulder injury, caught a touchdown and left with a shoulder injury. - Donnell Mooney, Nick. Don't know what happened to Devonte Adam. He left at the very end of the game. - I think it was a knee, but I don't know for sure. - Here is John Harbaugh on who is starting quarterback his next week. I can't answer that right now. It's not up for conversation right now. Those things will be decided not 10 minutes after the game. This is from Pat Leonard who covers the team. He says Harbaugh says he has no problem with Jamis Winston and both QB's made plays. Jay Jim McCarthy put a heck of a game, but he's not there yet. - Okay. - Richa Baitman left in the first quarter and Dave Dundtavy and Wix come back. - No, we talked about that. - Donnell. - Okay, I'm not sure if he came back. He got her late in the game. - I'll let you know, give me 30 seconds. - Looks like a non-contact knee for Devonte. - Sweet. - I was just doing a little looking on that. - Great stuff. Okay, I don't see any tight end news, offensive line. Well, the big one, we'll just talk about the Patriots right now. They lost three offensive linemen in this game. - Is there anything that matters, Heath, when it comes to Drake May, you know, the AJ Brown drops all these balls and three offensive linemen go down and Romeo Dobbs gets hurt in the first quarter and he throws up 29 more fantasy points. - Yeah, I think he's just a number one quarterback until he has a couple games where he's not, but he's playing very good football right now and AJ Brown's probably going to start catching the ball again. - Yeah, but that is, I mean, losing three starters in one game and I don't know how long it's from the injury, they could be back next week for all I know. But he actually said, it may be said after the game, I don't know if he's talking about all of them, he said like those guys are playing hurt. So not a great situation for the Patriots. Big defensive stuff, we had two defensive linemen for the, or an edge rusher and a defensive tackle for the Eagles, leave with an injury, leave with injuries. Giants secondary is a little beat up right now. Atlanta had a lot of injuries. They get San Francisco next week, sauce Gardner left for the calf injury. He will not be shutting down. He doesn't come play next week. He won't be shutting down Justin Jefferson. And that's it for the news and notes. Not a lot today, thank goodness. Jamie, early look at the waiver wire. Any names come to mind? - Omar Cooper, Jr. Obviously, great game by him. Should have had another touchdown that was negated by a silly Tim Patrick penalty. Trying to think out a few names in mind, I didn't write it down though. Michael Mayor, huge game for him. - Yeah, two of three have been huge for him. - Yeah, he's, look, the bills did a great job taking away. - Nowers. - Taking away Brock Fowers. Taking away Brock Fowers. And Mayor did a hell of a job. It's just a good underneath option for Kirk Cousins. You see, Jay Shratt was still available. Obviously you're picking him up, looking ahead. Kyla Murray should absolutely be picked up with his match up coming up against the Colts. - How about, how about Demario Douglas, two big games in a row for him? - So with Dobbs being injured, that's a good call. - What about Hunter Henry? Three straight good games for him. Touchdown and two straight games. Every game that Drake May's been awesome in, Henry's had, not a ton of targets, but he's had some impactful plays. - Deeper leagues, Tommy Trembl. This is now the Lions game. He was getting off to a good start and then got hurt and then comes back this game and scores to touchdown. So that's just more of a deep league option. - Yes, and while I do have any. - I do have any. - The person who asked the Tommy Trembl starter sit question this morning and I was like Tommy Trembl. And he goes four catches, 46 yards, two touchdowns on four targets. I think he's the number one tight end this week. - Probably with two scores. - Maybe pits. - No pits, that's his question. - Yeah, pits was better. All right, that's an early look at the waiver wire. I do want to get into the winners now, but saw this comment in the chat, thought I haven't said this in a while. So Frank wants to know who was the fool you if this week, who was this week's fool you? Fooled me. (laughing) - I wonder how much the calf injury was a problem for him, you know, we popped up on the injury port Saturday. - Sure. - Yeah, so I was looking-- - Winston. - Who? - James? - Winston's always good for a fool you game every year. - Yeah. - What was I gonna say, a firemuth. This is gonna change tomorrow, it won't be this, but it says he ran 75% of the routes, which means he probably ran a lot of the routes. It may not be exactly that, but I thought maybe he just didn't play that much 'cause Washington got some targets, whatever. But no, he was on the field, just got three targets. - He's got a fool. - I think Al Jir, in the sense that I didn't expect BAM Knight to have as many carriers as Tyler Al Jir. - Josh Downs without Tyler Warren. - Yep, it's a good one. - All right, well that's some of the negative stuff. Right now, let's get into the pulse pounding performance is brought to you by Woop, the wearable device that gives you personalized insights into your sleep recovery, your strain, and how daily choices may be influencing your overall well-being. Heath has his Woop and Jamie. They have their Woops on right now, and if you wanna learn more head-to-join.woop, WHOOP, join.woop.com/fft. All right, so Jamie gave his winners Heath, let's go to yours. There are a couple of tight ends who face off against each other, neither were started in half, even half of CBS leagues. Lovelin's 46% started, pits 38% started, pits is 74% rostered. What are you seeing from these guys? - I first off, as far as Lovelin goes, and it applies to Luther Burton as well. Caleb Williams, Kudos, like just dropping back and playing normal quarterback for 75% of the game. So many times he got back to the last step of his drop, and just the ball came out to the guy who was supposed to go to. And guess what? A lot of times that was Colson Lovelin, and Luther Burton. And so it was just very encouraging to see that they are primary focuses of the passing game when we're doing things on schedule. And hopefully that wasn't just Caleb Williams trying to avoid running too much because he's coming off the hamstring injury, and he's going to play quarterback like that a little bit more. Lovelin was very good with the opportunities he got. Same for Kyle Pitz, who has seen his target share go up. Now, four weeks in a row, first game with Michael Pinnix. It was 8.6, then 15, then 17.6, then 21.2. A season high, 72% of the offensive snaps from pits. I don't think we can rank either of these guys as must start options in their next game, but they are right squarely in the starting conversation. No, we are. We're half way to pits getting six touchdowns, too. Yes, by the way, a career high completion rate for Caleb Williams today, 30 of 36, 83.3% completion rate, really impressive. I do wonder about why he didn't run. Was it because he just didn't want to? Wasn't there today or because he's not going to? He was moving around pretty good. I don't know if he was necessarily moving around like he did in week one. But the Falcons had a hard time getting their hands on him until really like, late in the first half, right into the second half. And honestly, nobody except for the Caleb Williams fantasy manager wants him to move around like he did in week one. That's true. That includes Ben Johnson. Maybe we're what Dune Zay does, you know. Seriously. No, I don't think that would help him in week one. Right. It did help him in week one, because Caleb scrambled and through a 45-yard deep ball to Dune Zay on a Dune. That's great. One of 10 targets he's gotten from Caleb Williams through three games or so. All right. So how about we go to Dave's winners? And they are a couple of quarterbacks. Bryce Young, 23.8 fantasy points at Philadelphia. CJ Stroud, 29 fantasy points in London, technically at the Jaguars. Young's been the top seven quarterback in all, but one week through the Sunday afternoon slate. So he's a must start. I can't believe he wasn't even started in half of CBS Sports leagues. He overcame a slow start against Philly. That defense is really hanging in there. You got to tip her cap to them, but you got good enough numbers to finish top 10 this week. And as for Stroud, this is three weeks in a row now. At least 22.9 fantasy points, at least 27 and two of the three. Dare I say that he's a must start quarterback moving forward on a team whose defense is letting us down. Run game has really been letting us down since week two. [BLANK_AUDIO]
He is the obvious focal point of the offense that they just added Marvin Harrison to, and actually kind of liked the role that they had for Marvin Harrison. He wasn't running down field all the time. He was having a bunch of horizontal routes, didn't play a ton, but an encouraging start for Marvin Harrison. It should be better games ahead, obviously, for Nico Collins, but think about it. CJ Stroud had a huge game, and Nico didn't have that huge. His numbers weren't huge. He wasn't a big factor for CJ Stroud to have a big game, so got the Giants next week, cannot but like Stroud and that game. I like both of these guys as must-start quarterbacks. I'm just going to say a comment with no context provided and no follow-ups allowed, okay? And then we'll move on. He told me to drop Bryce Young this morning. I saw this stat from PFF or this note from PFF on Bryce Young. Can you name the quarterbacks to throw for 280 yards and a touchdown in each of their teams first five games of a season over the last 15 years? Why? The homes? Yeah, I'll get right on that. It's Bryce Young. And Young Yes, move 180 and one touchdown, Brady. 280 and one in each of their teams first five games in the last 15 years. Bryce Young is one. You have three others. My home's not one of them. Tom Brady. Not Tom Brady. Not Aaron Rodgers. He sticks. Aaron Rodgers is one. Yeah. It's been the last 15 years. I don't know. The answer is no. We cannot. Yeah. Well, we got Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers in 2011. Drew Brees in 2013. Yeah. Pete Manning in 2013. Oh. Bryce Young. Bryce Young in 2026. I remember when Fitzpatrick had like three straight 400 yard games. Yeah. That's not five. And I encourage you to go watch Ryan Fitzpatrick's quote-unquote conversation with a keep-to-lea was very funny. Oh. Okay. By the way, I was rostering three quarterbacks and Heath told me to drop Bryce Young. It was a-- Who are the other two? Jordan Love. I'm starting tonight in Mar Jackson. I picked-- I dropped Jackson. Drop Jackson? I think you should drop all three. All right. Let's go to the losers. I think the other two are pulling better. I know. That's-- I couldn't trade them, you know? It's like no one needed them. No one needs a quarterback. No one can really. All right. Michael Wilson and Romo Dunesay are Dave's losers. Michael Wilson started in 68% of leagues, four catches for 32 yards on seven targets at the Rams, gets Denver next week. Romo Dunesay started in 58% of leagues, three catches, 39 targets, 39 yards on four targets at Atlanta. I don't think he has 39 targets all year. And he gets New England next week. Dave Wilson and Romo Dunesay. It's not just New England next week for Dunesay, Seattle's after that. He had a 24-yard catch wiped out by a penalty. That would have brought him to almost 10 PPR points. We already talked about 10 targets from Caleb Williams through three games. Not great. Dunesay, someone who's like a bi-week replacement at White Receiver. Maybe a desperation play at White Receiver and a three receiver league. Wilson. There's been two games now without Marvin Harrison Jr. in Arizona. And he's been under eight PPR points in each of the two. And the Rams were a tough matchup to begin with. But not having Tremick Duffy, that's their best shut down corner. You would think that there would be more opportunities than seven targets for Michael Wilson. You would think that he would do better than sub eight PPR points. It has to be asked if his coverage is changing. Now that Marvin Harrison Jr. isn't on the field, could that have done anything that tilted the safety a little bit closer to him? It's something that we can look into. It's not, it's not, I don't know if there's going to be an answer that comes out that makes to go, oh yeah, now I'm cool to start Michael Wilson and have him in my lineup as a must start receiver. I don't know if we can do that. He's got Denver next week. That's going to be a tough matchup. And then after that, it's Dallas. You're probably going to start him then and feel really good about that. And then Seattle after that's going to be a nightmare. Then he sees the Rams again. Chiefs after that. We've already talked about how tough this cardinal schedule is. It could be rough out there for Michael Wilson for a while. But I'm who has more fantasy points, Roma Dunezay for the season, Roma Dunezay or Jeremy Bernard. Oh, man, Oh, Dunezay, Jeremy Bernard has 1.9 more fantasy points than Roma Dunezay this season. That's incredible. I didn't see this quote Dave until just now when I googled it because I had seen something on Twitter about Michael of Floor, Michael of Floor, Mike saying that both Tramick and Michael Wilson were double teamed a lot last week. And so I just found this quote from Michael Wilson from a week ago or earlier this week. That was probably the first time in my career where I got double team pretty much the whole game. Definitely, definitely not fun because it's pretty hard to get open when you're trying to win against two guys. But that tells me that Detroit thought highly of me as a player and I'm sure we'll probably see that more going forward. Okay, that's pretty significant stuff. Maybe they should have given Marvin Harrison a few more targets. Maybe. Jamie, your losers are Ramandre Stevenson, who had 14 carries for 36 yards, did not have a catch. And he's averaged 3.6 yards or worse per carry in four of six games. And James Winston, who got benched and is 40% rostered. Yeah, obviously, James, we covered I will see what happens next week, but you can't start him against Houston. Ramandre was, you know, look, we had very high expectations at the start of the week when we thought Trevian Henderson was going to have a high ankle sprain and not play. And Henderson plays. And on top of that, my guess is, and I hope it's not something moving forward, but my guess is that they were prepping Corey Kiner to play in place. So Trevian Henderson, he was going to get some work. They gave Kiner their most important drive when they were trying to score at the end or kill the clock at the end. And that was troubling. Now, Stevenson got in when they tried to score. I think it was a third down or fourth down the last carry of the game. But it was just troubling to see Kiner and Kiner actually ran well. So I hope we don't have a three headed backfield moving forward, but this was a huge let down for Ramandre Stevens who had been building some nice momentum. And then again, we thought he was going to have a huge game this week. Yeah. So Kiner had 11 carries. Stevenson had 14 and Trevian had seven and then he fumbled. And Kiner had eight of his 11 carries on that one drive, which came, which started with less than six minutes left in the fourth quarter. And he had, you're right. He had a great drive and he really milked that clock and put away the jets. And it makeshift off into line too. Right. That's part of the problem. And I got the word incorrectly too. What do you mean? Good job, Jamie. Oh, crap. What'd you say? You got wedding correctly? I got the word incorrectly when I said make SH something wrong last week. All right. He said you hold on. Wait. Do you want the snap breakdown for the Patriots running backs now or when we talk about them later? Go ahead. Before the the Trevian fumble, it was two thirds in favor of Ramandre and he dominated third downs and snaps inside the 10 after the fumble, 50/50 split between Ramandre and Kiner, but Ramandre smashed on third downs, five of six there, three of four inside the 10. I don't know if I'm panicking over this news in New England. I think that Ramandre is even still going to be the running back that we want to use. I think we'll still rank him as a number two fantasy running back because of all the high value touches that he gets. So I don't, he's going to share the rushing downs with somebody. It's clear that that's going to be the case, whether it's Trevian or whether it's Kiner, he's probably going to be in the neighborhood for around 14 carries like he had today. Just really crappy efficiency in part because they lost so many linemen. I just want everyone to know that in my head every time I see Corey, every time in my head I call him Corey Kiner-Fileffa, where you'll be all fans out there. Okay. Here losers were Cam Skataboo and the the permanent fixture in the loser's list, Josh Downes. This is one, it's just like so disgusting and a lot, some of it's, maybe a lot of it is Daniel Jones who's playing awful football. But also I'm kind of getting a little bit of Deontay Johnson vibes from where like all of the data and the film guys say how good this guy is and maybe it should result in better production at some point. I don't, I would assume Josh Downes is going to be dropped in a few leagues. To play in Jacksonville and then Dallas and Miami, so I'll probably try to hold on to him. But I don't know when you can feel good about starting him. Oh, when you get, at least get eight targets. I mean, I don't know, I can't put a silver lining on this. He's been terrible now. About three weeks ago, I talked about him as a loser and it was the exact same kind of 10 or as he was, which is Daniel Jones is awful. This offense isn't great. And then you'd think, okay, Tyler Warren's not going to play. It's going to be great for Downes. It's going to be great for Kenanown. They'll get all the targets. Well, they got 19 combined. Kenanown just caught eight of his and he had more than Josh Downes. So, Kenanown's the thief, right? Isn't that what you called him? Yeah, I think this was Josh Downes best game in October. Yeah. It's terrible. We're catches for 40 yards. Kenanown, by the way, just passed what he passed to rel Owens on the all-time catch list.
- Right. - Mm-hmm. - Pretty insane. Hall of Fame, can you know that Alan? - No. - No. - Hall of very good. - He's a T.O. He passed T.O. and Anquan Bolton. They're Hall of Fame. - Hall of very good. If Anquan's not in, he's not in. - Is Anquan not in? - No. - He is not in. - Okay, yeah, fair enough then. I need another loser. - Another Hall of very good today, by the way, with another milestone. Now I'm a Camero. - Yeah, yeah. Great tackling, giants. - I think Breeze Hall to me is a loser. I think, I really feel like Braille and Alan is gonna have a bigger role than he did in those first, what, three games? And three in hat whenever it was. - Two. - No, it was at least three. - What are we in week six? Oh, you're right, three. Week four was the Braille and Alan all touch gaming against the rounds? - Hopefully it's a different role and not a bit. I think it might be a little bigger role, but I can't imagine they're gonna go back to using him on passing downs and having Breeze to 90% of the rushing. Hopefully they've just flipped that up a little bit 'cause Hall was one of the best past catching running backs in the NFL. - You never know, they do a lot of stupid things. I feel like he's, he has some good runs, but he also, like he's a little choppy. Like he's got a bunch of runs that go nowhere to also. So. - That's everyone, but. - Alan's sort of, yeah, Alan. - He looked great. - No, he had some amazing runs today. That's what I just have, like some of his runs are great and then some of them just go absolutely nowhere. And yes, you could say that about a lot of running backs. I think they'd have more consistency with Breeze. Certainly think Breeze will be the lead back there. And if Breeze ends up, if Breeze ends up playing, like Breeze should end up playing, then you're not gonna see a lot of Braille and Alan. He'll be like on the field, a third of the time, might have eight touches. I'm not, I wouldn't expect a 50/50 split for very long once Breeze comes back. I didn't, I don't know if that's what you were saying. - I don't expect a 50/50 split at all. - Right, I don't know what you're expecting, but. - I'm expecting. - You like what you saw from them. - I'm expecting him to be annoying for fantasy. Like maybe a, is he the goal line guy? - Could be. And by the way, he's averaging four point two yards per carry and Breeze hall's averaging three point two yards per carry this year. So Breeze hall hasn't run the ball well. All right, moving on to the games. All right, let's get to the games. And Houston, Jacksonville, this was a fun, well actually wait, I forgot about the goal line work and the, I'm sorry for the, I know the graphics, I don't know what I'm coming. Go line work, almost touchdowns. All right, it's the same thing in Jacksonville. Both the guys get used near the goal line. Kendrick Miller was to clear goal line back today, although they had a, kind of a, I wouldn't call it a trick play, a misdirection play where CJ Donaldson got a goal line carry and had a touchdown over term, but Kendrick Miller was also in the backfield on that play. Audric Estimae had a goal line touchdown for Cleveland. So Julio McLaughlin, I'm assuming he played a lot more than Estimae, Estimae had the touchdown. We saw both dealers running back, used near the goal line. So I, I imagine it'll be kind of like that going forward, but we'll see. And that's about it. I got there for almost touchdowns. AJ Brown had an almost big day, but he had a ball in his hands in the end zone. That was a tough catch. Let's see, Puganacooa, Puganacooa was wide open. I mean, that could have made his day in Stafford's day right there. Stafford got hit as he threw it. That was, I don't even know, 60 something your touchdown. Puganacooa wide open. Roshan Johnson, if you started him at the very end of the game, he slid down at about the two yard line instead of scoring. Colson Lovelin should have had a second touchdown. I thought that was on Caleb Kim, we should have thrown the ball earlier. Tom Brady thought Colson Lovelin didn't run his route that well. Oh, Josh Downs did come up a yard short of a rushing touchdown. So there's that. Brock Bowers drew a pass interference penalty in the end zone. Although I'm writing that, but I don't even remember that. Yeah, then Jenty Squirt. Oh, okay, yeah. Basial student for the second time this year. Not for the second time this year had a touchdown call back because that's happened at least three times. That happened twice in one game. Yeah, so I think that's four times. But for the second time this year had a call back on what I think was a pretty dubious if not bad call. I thought there was one angle of that that showed it was pretty clearly a hold. Is really? Okay, so he had a fist full of Jersey. Was there a worse holding call than Miami Four State? No. I think that the roughing the pass around the chiefs on the Justin Herbert interception was maybe worse than the Miami Four State holding penalty. Yeah. Well, Dalton and Kate had a touchdown call back on a hold. Dalton and Kate was back in his hometown this week. I didn't realize that. I think they were trying to get him going because he had a lot of targets. And Jamie mentioned Omar Cooper Jr. had a touchdown call back on pass interference on his teammate, Tim Patrick. Okay. Mark Rathie and neighbors wide open to on the likely pass. On the last play of the game. Yeah. Oh, no kidding. I didn't know that. Great. Now I feel better. I don't know wide open, but he was open. Oh, well, he was under pressure. Yeah. Houston 34, Jacksonville 31. I was going to play a joke on the producers and be like, actually, it's going to, but we'll leave this graphic up. Yeah, this was a great game for fantasy. And the quarterbacks played well. And do you think Dave that Woody marks, you know, has forward momentum going? He didn't have a great game. He had 15 carries for 56 yards, two catches for 25 yards. You think he did enough to be a must-start against the Giants next week? Yes. And for now, he's still the lead back for Houston. We'll see if David Montgomery's healthy. One of my guilty pleasures is Joar Jordan. I liked him when he played in college. And he had the touchdown run today. Did a good job just reading the blocking and cutting back. I don't think Jordan is going to make big inroads on Woody Marx's turf here either. So Woody Marx played 78% of the snaps, had every third down snap, every snap inside the five. I think he can be better than this next week against the GMN. Is Nico Collins a by-low or a get what you can candidate asks? It's a good question. There he is. Yes, if Nico's a by-low or get what you can. I don't think he's either. I mean, if you can by-low, sure, go for it. So maybe he is that. But I don't think a lot of people are interested in selling Nico right now. But you see where he's coming from. I mean, you first game with Marvin Harris in junior, we have-- what was the target share for Nico Collins? He had five of 34. Yeah, pretty low target share of 34 pass. Right. Well, Dalton Schultz led the way with six. And last week, he didn't have a very good game either, Nico Collins. So I think he did draw two pass interference penalties. One of them was in the end zone. I don't think it was a good call. But he did draw two penalties. And those don't count as targets, by the way. So I guess there's that silver lining. But what do you-- OK, he was a pick right around the two-three turn during draft season. Where would you take Nico right now? Roy thing. Yeah. That's right. Nico Zey and Devante Smith were a season. Zey and Nico Devante. Yeah, tempted to put Zey ahead of Nico. But that doesn't mean that Nico's bad. I mean, three weeks ago, he had over 100 yards and two touchdowns. I think I might take Devante to. Over Nico? I mean, they just took advantage of-- one might be the worst cornerback duel. And I can't do that. I read the AP recap of that Eagles game. We'll get to that in a minute. And it was so negative. Because I barely saw Tanner McKee. But it was like-- it made me think that he played like absolute garbage. And I'm going to watch the tape tomorrow and all that. We'll probably talk about it on the box score. But we might have gotten pretty lucky with Devante Smith. Then again, it was his first start. I thought until that drive where you were the touchdown Devante Smith, I thought he was the worst starting quarterback that played today. By worse than Jalen Daniels. Worse than-- Did you watch James? Yeah, right. James was really bad today. Snoop. James was terrible. How do we feel a question from the chat? How do we feel about Marvin Harrison Jr. after his first game? In Kurt. Yeah, in Kurt. Yeah. OK. How many routes did he run, David, you know? I can look. Yeah. I still have the Don Tavine and Wix numbers waiting for you. And we'll get to that with the Philly game. I know we're not supposed to talk about it, but I'm just going to say it. So maybe it happens. Stop running the ball. Reembe. Stop. Just throw every play. So last thing on this game is-- I mentioned that Jacobi Myers-- I hope this is a sign of things to come because he had had a target share like over 20% five or six years in a row. And he just had not been targeted at all. I finally got it going today. I don't think it's going to be consistent, but I do feel like there's better times ahead. I just need to play Travis Hiner all every snap all the time. Well, that could happen, too. It's a big discussion. What are they going to do with him? Yep. Marvin Harrison Jr. 9 routes. Niko 29. Niko 29? Niko 29 routes. Marvin Harrison Jr. 9 routes. Oh, Marvin Harrison Jr. I'm sorry. My mind was on Travis Hunter there. OK, Travis Hunter. By the way, just keep this in mind for 2027. Travis Hunter's games before the buy are epic in London. Well, yeah, in London. I think he has scored more fantasy points in London than he has in America. Yeah. Well, last year was the one he went nuts, and then he got hurt in the heart. Just acting. Yeah. And that was that. All right. We're going to take a break here. And actually, sorry. And let's finish up in this game. This is a very fantasy-relevant game. How about Basel Tutton? He splits carries, basically, even with Chris Rodriguez, but he gets two receiving touchdowns when he had 11 targets, I think, coming into the game in five games. So Heath, what does that mean to you, Basel Tutton's game?
very good Arby to. Not an Arby one? No. I don't think he's I don't know there were still too many Chris Rodriguez carries for me to say he's an Arby one but he's very good Arby too. You know what we he's just kind of touched on us a little bit like Josh Downs is a very talented player and today he got opportunities and he doesn't deliver. Basel's a very talented player and he delivers on his opportunities like this is what we love about fantasy guys like this is that when they find a way in some way shape or because he wasn't running the ball very well today at all but he catches two touchdowns like that's to me the sign of like okay you could see that there's so much more available to him because he's he's really good and if Jacksonville will just say you know what like what John Harbott said but waiting for somebody to be the guy like it's pretty clear for Jacksonville Basel tunes the guy let him be the guy get Chris Rodriguez out of there until you need him in an emergency situation like give Basel to an 80% of the touches let's see what he could do but he he was the guy each of their last two games 22 carries last week against Philly 17 against Cincinnati Chris Rodriguez and those two games combined was eight carries just not consistent that's right and so I don't know what it's going to take for Liam Cohen to commit all the way to Basel tune every week instead of one week he's got it in the next week he doesn't and he committed five weeks in a row this was the first game that was no no no no he's he's obviously the lead guy but it's not like what we want to see which is we want to see him be the only guy right that's not going to happen and that's what it was last week against Philly in fairness Chris Rodriguez was quite a bit better running for all the day that he was he was awesome it's probably averaging more yards per carrier for this season than Basel Tudon is it's probably true all right it is true barely 4.3 to 4.1 we'll be right back we'll talk about the rest of the games after this we are back let's talk about game number two and that is in my notes Chicago 31 Atlanta 23 Atlanta had the ball for less than 20 minutes in this game and they had a furious come back in the fourth quarter and B. John Robinson had a horrible fantasy game because they barely had the ball I don't think we're worried about him but it is too bad B. John games in a row last week you know 15.8 fantasy points 21 touches whatever this week only 11 touches just to get it out of the way we're not worried about B. John right no you can try making offers for him but I don't think you're going to get anywhere are you not worried about could you have the rest of the season Ken Walker or B. John Robinson wow I'm going to go B. John and P. P. R. and Walker and I don't know man I think I think Walker is just rolling right now kind of hard to say B. John I think I'm taking Walker yeah he's pretty good it's been awesome now worried about London we talked about pit so anything on the both anything on the I would like to see the Falcons trailing more Michael Pentax is good yeah he kind of came alive well into the second half and that that really helped and the Bears defense like turned a crap when it was 31 to 7 it's it's almost like they figured the game was over and the Falcons were like oh not so fast and they started to to get moving a little bit and then the pits two touchdowns and two-point conversions after that gave Atlanta a chance but they had a B. John holding penalty late in the game the Bears pass rush was actually a lot better this week they got to Pentax a lot in the second half and certainly toward the end of the game and that made a huge difference color Gordon was back for them he had three sacks so they were sending the nickel blitz quite often and just too little too late for Atlanta who two big turnovers on special teams just absolutely killed them and that's a huge reason why they barely at the ball and does anybody have anything to say about Caleb Williams because career high completion rate 305 passing arts only 18 fantasy points you know he's what are your thoughts on Caleb. I think I said at the at the beginning of the show kudos fantastic play like that all the time the touchdowns will come like it was a game where they had three rushing touchdowns they'll probably have one or two most games great day and loved one. Oh go ahead. What's that isn't there serial kudos. No it's a no uh yeah candy bar snack bar snack bar I was really a candy bar disguised as a snack bar there's a really good though the cookies. This Thomas have any idea of kudos because that's yeah do I do okay Thomas is good. I figured that out in the 90s not that young okay okay uh loved one should have had that second touchdown if he has that then we're going crazy for that's true for Caleb Williams if you've got him you should feel great about plus yeah two short touchdowns for deandre swift if one of those goes Caleb's way you're you're thrilled. Dave you have your handy laminated schedule who the bears have next week. Next week the bears have New England then yeah. The game. A Thursday night game of the week is the Patriots and the bears baby. I think it's a great call. The week hey I love it. It's a great call. The way the drake maze been playing. I did I did love that Patriots defense we can talk about that when we get to that game but that should be a fun one on Thursday night. Next game Cleveland 13 Baltimore 10. Is anybody worried about Derek Henry I brought this up on me on the box score that he had a pretty easy schedule in his first five games Colts, Saints, Cowboys, Titans, Falcons and he had a pretty hard schedule after I don't know with some hard games you have like the Jaguars on there and tech the Texans I guess it's not that hard. It depends on Cincinnati but I don't know he fumble today never no one's worried about him forget it when Lamar comes back he's going to be great right. Yeah okay any takeaways for Cleveland bad game for Denzo Boston bad game for Dishon Watson bad game yeah it was it was just absolutely good game for Jerry Judy. Yeah he had the most impactful catches for played some good football that day he did you want you wonder if some some team offers him more than he's worth but you know try to trade for him. Would you want to I don't know. Cleveland's 4 and 2. Cleveland is 4 and 2 but I mean you could still maximize your your team's potential by moving on from somebody who might be replaceable from a production standpoint and you have two really good young receivers that Jerry Judy's not part of the future. I get it and I'd be surprised if Judy was a part of the future for the Cleveland Browns but if he's who Dishon Watson is trusting and he's making catches like he did today and look I don't know I'm by week replacement at wide receiver maybe because his track record has just been so gross but if that's who Watson is trust as trust with then I think it got to keep him. Where's the bed at after today. It is closer I checked earlier so I think Zay flowers is currently ahead only by 1.7 fantasy points per game. Well boy. Amazing. Yeah. There's also a head by 25 points for the season. He's going to I mean I'm in all seriousness you guys one of you at least put him as a first round pick when we did our show on Wednesday. You have to get to which one. Lamar should be bay. I should be back and Zay flowers are just going to be incredible. So that's probably going to be what happens but this this this was two sides for you that happened today because the Giants lost a little bit of their will potentially a little bit of lead and so could fall out of plan protection sooner. But that didn't know he's already he's already changed those terms as far as when it starts. Yeah forget about that. All right back to fantasy real quick here. Speak of moving on someone said moving on like a minute ago and I thought speak of moving on would you move on from Harold fan and junior. I think you can. I think similar to what we've seen from Lovelin and pits because fan and had two good weeks like we're going to get these type of performances from these guys where they'll have a good week or two and then they'll disappear for a week or two and then they'll bounce back so depending on what your tight end situation is he's probably one that you should carry to. Yeah. Oh yeah. Caroline at 25 Philadelphia 14. So then what do we think about the way should we discuss the Browns backfield if there's no Giants again? Sure who would you prefer? Still McLaughlin but he's available on a bunch of leagues and we'll talk about Tuesday. I'm going to guess Jack and play though just basically how close he was to playing this week. Yeah close was he. Well I mean he worked out pregame he practiced on Friday so that's a sign I'm sure that he was close to playing. McLaughlin led the way 62% of the snaps half the third down snaps. Estimae of course the big boy had two of three snaps inside the 10. It's ugly. McLaughlin had a couple. They had the nice run, nine yard run and good average in the game. I don't really want to trust the other one. Caroline at 25 Philadelphia. It's went 14. Philadelphia 14. So yeah how freaked out should we be about the Eagles offense right now based on this game? This was what I was expecting from Dallas Goddard. This was great for their skill players. What are you talking about? Yeah well I think the final the final numbers were I saw almost nothing but like I said what I read was very discouraging. It seemed like Tanner but he was horrible. So said he was horrible. There's there's how the the sausage gets made and then what you're seeing as the finished product like it's probably not going to be pretty with a second a backup quarterback is probably not going to be consistent in an offense that clearly has got a lot of issues with Jalen Hertz or without Jalen Hertz. But if you were to say well how again by the end of the game the running back head what 15 PPR points the two receivers or the receiver in the tight end both north of 12 PPR points like a billion targets for Devote Smith like you'll take that. And I think like the the asterisk is this is one of the worst defenses in the NFL and the answer to that is they play the commanders in the Giants the next two weeks.
They get the Cowboys soon, don't they? Or is it the Cowboys commanders and giants? It's three straight NFC's. That's how they're you. Yeah. So like I said, it's probably going to be okay for the next three weeks. And I'd be worried if they start playing good defenses and Jalen Hertz isn't back. And I don't know if Jalen Hertz is coming back. So maybe if you can stack one or two of these and then you can trade Devon to Smith, they have the Eagles have one good defense until the fantasy playoffs. Right. And then it gets in their home for a big stretch of games. Through Thanksgiving. The fantasy playoffs is brutal. Seattle, Houston, at San Francisco. But the schedule leading up to that is amazing. I can't imagine there's a team with a better schedule than the Philadelphia Eagles for the next two months, basically. Minnesota's up there. Okay. Good to know. There is some, I saw a few publications and I'm curious your thoughts on this atom. Safe one, Barclay to the Giants. How cool would that be? I would love that. That would be really cool, because like Mike, both of my kids have Barclay jerseys. So it would be just very convenient. Hand me down. So anyway, Devon to Smith, I'll ask what I asked about Niko. He was like a mid-third round pick on draft day. Where would you take him now? Later than that. A little later around here. Yeah, like because Mike Miller, if he's going to double digit targets every week, you're going to be thrilled. He's not going to get double digit targets every week, though. Oh, if you're getting eight plus, excuse me. That's, yeah, that's, that's good. All right. Let's go. I think the Panthers are pretty self-explanatory. I just wanted to see which, I just wanted to see who- Just a healthy Jaylen Coker, please. I wanted to see which tight end ran more routes today, and it was Rumble just barely. He ran half the routes. Waller 45%. I'll have updated numbers for you tomorrow. Darren Waller was all about that base. Tennessee. Not sure I get that. Oh, no tremble. Tennessee 26 in theapolis 20. That was good. Colts had the ball for 38 minutes and 32 seconds. Titans won this game somehow. They had a defensive turnovers. It was a special team's touchdown. Blocked fun. Yeah. They also had a big interception. Oh, gosh. Great catch. Heath, what the hell should we talk about with this game? What do you think? Cornell Tate's awesome. Keenan Allen, apparently, matters a little bit. We'll see how long the Tyler Warren's injured, but Keenan Allen maybe have to be ranked right behind Josh Downs, or maybe ahead of him. So three straight games Allen has played since Alex Pierce's injury, 99 and 11 targets. He's their best receiver. Yeah. On the tight inside of the ball, Tony Pollard is such an interesting player. I mean, this guy 14, 17, 16, 19 carries in his last four games. I don't know. He's been good in two of them. He's been kind of meh. He's been bad from PPR in two of them. He's almost never scores. He has one touchdown. But he's a nice guy to have on your mind. They're not throwing two at me there. Yeah. Right. One game. He had four catches other than that. He has combined four catches, I think in the other five. I might be a trap back one. Okay. All right. That's that's that's that's enough for this. Is he a trap back because he's not getting the high value touches? Or is he a trap back because he's trapped in Tennessee and they don't get near the goal line enough? Would you take Tony Pollard of the Giants? Yeah. He is not a trap because he is the goal line. No. Yeah. Yeah. I know. But he doesn't score. You have to score. Speaking of the Giants, they lost 34-27 to the Saints. It was a 24 point game in the fourth quarter and it became a pretty fun one at the end. You know, they benched Schuck at that one point. They they pulled him from the game. Well, Paul, they didn't patch him right. They they thought that they had the game in hand and yes, I said the wrong term. Yeah. Yeah, Kellin Moore, I think we've regretted that after the game. Schuck didn't really play very well, right? No. Okay. So I don't know how much you guys watched the game. I watched almost an entire he had a lot of not a lot of jobs. He had a few drops. He had some Aaron throws. He should have had better numbers passing. Yeah, I don't know. That wasn't really my impression. I mean, I'm sure that that is true, but I didn't think he played well regardless. You know, only for 144 yards. Actually, to be quite honest with you, I don't think the Giants defenses the layup that I thought it was going to be. They're playing fairly well. They were today. Blitz the crap. They give up touchdowns quarterbacks. It's now five games in a row with multiple touchdowns every quarterback they think. Right. Like I was buying into this Giants defense a little bit too much too. But then you just see them. They've got a fourth down, fourth and short right at the end of the half. And Bryce Lance is running wide open at the post. And then the Alvin Camera play is just crazy. I think like four guys got their hands on him. And you've talked to Adam about how slow he is. And now he doesn't have explosive plays. And here he is getting an explosive play for a 31-yard touchdown on a screen pass from Tyler Schuck. And then you throw in the Tush push on top of it. Like the numbers are going to be great for Schuck. And everybody who started him is thrilled. And everybody who benched him is mad because they probably started my homes or james or something like that. But I hear what he's saying. And I kind of agree. I don't think this was a particularly great game. And what you're saying, Adam, I don't think it was a great game for Schuck. Adam, who has more fantasy points. I say a likely or a trademark bread. Likely. Likely. It is. I say a likely by four. And I think just to wrap it up on the Saints here, you know, you're going to keep starting Olave and Valeo be asked about every Sunday. I get it. But you know, Schuck has Pittsburgh and Cleveland next. So, man, you know, I think he's going to be top 12 probably around 12th this next week. I don't think it'll be top 12 for me this week next week. I'll be in there, right? And then yeah, Kendrick Miller appears to be the, he'll be ranked behind the guy he's starting. About behind Rogers. Yeah, of course. There's something we'll talk about that game very soon. But something that I'm not liking it all about Aaron Rogers. And yeah, do you, who do you think would be a better quarterback for neighbors and likely McCarthy or Jamis? I mean, that's the Spider-Man meme. They're both. Yeah, right. It's just give them opportunities to make plays and both have done that. I think McCarthy might have the stronger arm and they're both not particularly accurate. And McCarthy can move a little better than Jamis. I would lean toward McCarthy, but it's, it's, it's not a good pick. Okay. I mean, that's, this is easily the best wide receiver tight end duo on the NFL in fantasy. Maybe. That was better in reality. Evan's Kittle. Go on. I'm on roll up order. Also going. Yeah. Fan in. I don't know. I would take these two if they had party or I bet that was a joke. Pittsburgh 26 Tampa Bay 19 quote of the game from Aaron Rogers. Once we got DK involved, the offense shifted. Maybe we can get that going a little earlier next time. DK Meck have 11 catches, 93 yards on 15 targets. Are we optimistic about him going forward? You have to be. He's good job. I used to stick with him. And it didn't feel very good in the first half. I think, I think what you're going to say, Adam, that I'm a little bit worried about for DK is you mentioned that last week, Rogers started to go short, short, short again in a holy cow. Did he do that in this game? Even a lot, several of the DK targets were just right at the line of scrimmage. I don't think he really trusts his offensive line right now at all. But listen, one of the things we talked about this morning, he was throwing 38 passes per game coming into this game. Yeah, I know it was overtime through 49 passes in this game. If he's going to throw it 40 times a game, then DK is probably going to be a low in number two wide receiver. Is it that he didn't trust his offensive line or he was like scared to death of the blitz that the bucks bring pretty much every single day? He got knocked around. Thursday or Friday, whenever we broke this game like this could be another week of that. Yeah, five sacks by Tampa. I think Tampa's defense is good. Yeah. I think we went into the season. I at least thought this was an easy matchup for quarterbacks, whatever and wide receivers. And they seem to be doing a pretty good job. And then they fell apart at the end of Dallas game a little bit. It fell apart in overtime of this game. But to give you some reference here, the lowest ariars per pass attempt or let's just call it a dot for simple simplicity. The lowest a dot for any quarterback in the NFL is bonus at 4.9. And that is so unbelievably low. Second lowest is Jalen Daniels of the of the bucks at 6.1. The last two games for Aaron Rogers have been lower than bonus. It was like 4.6 last week. And unofficially, I'll say because these things can change 4.2. No, 4.0 intended ariars per pass attempt. This week, I've got a tire next week. Yeah, he's got the science. I hope so. But I don't love seeing that. But would you guys think of Jalen Warren's usage, Jamie sucked. It was good at the end of the game, good and overtime, but it was not great. Certainly. Largely disappointing by what we saw the previous three games without Rico, that other so that'll ran better than him. The majority of the game. So he just still start him as a number two running back, but this was the concern is that when he gets competition, he's not going to be as great. And you should have sold high when he had the chance. What? That's not fair. We were talking about how great he was all week. He wasn't really a sell high. No, he was definitely a sell high. Only if you were going to get what? We were even nervous about giving him up for like chase brown, I feel. I think we were much more high. You could certainly be, I mean, I'll go back and listen to Wednesday show. I think it was either Dave or he said he was a sell high for not mistaken.
There was going to be a change, you had to expect a change. We didn't expect it to be this bad of a change, but there had to be a change. And so this was one of the more obvious, so high candidates. Yeah. I don't know. I think we felt. I'm going to think, I'm going to guess what we said was you don't give him away. Well, I think so. And yes, you have reservations about Chase Brown level player, but if you could have turned him into something great, you should have tried to do so. I think you could say that about, yeah, most guys, but I feel like we felt like he was going to be a real fantasy asset, like basically a must-start guy. Agreed. Agreed. But there was going to be a decrease in production, a decrease in playing time, and we saw it play out today. Well. Wasn't that bad? It was 74% of the snaps, so I don't know if I'm going to say a huge increase. And it all increased. It's a little bit. Yeah, that's fine. Still percentages. I don't like the efficiency at all. He had two-thirds of the carries. He hair and Rogers goes 49 times, Warren has four catches, and Rogers is throwing short. And Warren has four targets, I should say, excuse me, four targets, two catches. All right, so give me a Davante Smith or Jalen Warren, rest of season. Davante? It's probably a what you need, but I would say in a vacuum, it would be a kind of Davante. I'll say Warren, I'm not buying the Tanner McKee's going to throw 45 times every week. Did you see the start of that game? I don't think they had a design rush attempt, their first two drives. Would you, if you had Damien Pearson Carson steal as you were running? If I had Tanner McKee throw in the ball, I would. I'm throwing at least one run. I think we're going to get Baker Mayfield back next week, hopefully. And at least if you had the guts to start a book of the last two weeks, it's worked out. He was 68 percent started this week, seven catches, 48 yards in a touchdown on 16 targets. He's still not playing as well as I would like to see him play. Like I know it's Jalen Daniels, and it's an undrafted rookie, and he's not, like it's not a regular NFL quarterback, but it seems like Ebooka leaves yards and catches on the field every game. Yeah. Dave said Wednesday, sell high on dealing work. Yeah. All right, but I still think we thought like he'd be pretty good. I think he's going to be better than he was today. Nobody's saying he's going to be 9.8 PPR. Fantasy points through. Where everybody's still going to start Jalen Warren, unless you're just absolutely loaded at running back. And if you want to try and sell him now, you can. You're not going to be able to get what you got 48 hours ago, but you're still going to be able to get something good for Jalen Warren. I don't think this is a representation of who he's going to be rest of season. And as for Ebooka, like 37 percent target share is real great. I don't think it's going to be that high. Anytime soon. If you can sell high on Ebooka, you have it now. There's an off ramp here. All right. New England 26, Jets 19. And we talked about Braylon Allen. Yes. Of course, Christian Gonzalez. I don't know if it was shadowing like he normally does, but he was on Garrett Wilson quite a bit. So not a surprise that Wilson didn't have a very good game. He had four catches for 44 yards on six targets. We could get at an I-Nit Mitchell back next week that could hurt Omar Cooper Jr. If you're thinking about him for waivers, but that's a topic for Tuesday. Drake May is great. We talked about Ramondra. I honestly feel like we covered everything in this game. And what we haven't covered will cover on Tuesday, but who's more of a priority to get on waiver wire? Demario Douglas or Hunter Henry? Henry. Yeah. It's the position scarcity for me. Would you rather have Jalen Warren or AJ Brown rest of season? AJ Brown. Warren. Warren. Kansas City, 22, the Chargers, six. Surprise. The Chargers. Oh boy. Had six points. Please drop Justin Herbert. He's going into his buy. Then he has the Rams in Houston. So please drop him already. Yeah. Stata. Or tweet the game. I thought that was a really cool NFL researcher. Kenneth Walker is the first player with at least 750 scrimmage yards and eight touchdowns through the first five games of a season since. But Danian. No. Who was it like? Was it another Chiefs running back? Just guess a name. DeMarco Murray. Brian Westbrook. Aaron Foster. Priest Holmes. Dave got it. Well, that's because he got to get this guess last. That wasn't fair. I said before anybody guess anything. Was it a former Chiefs running back? Who do you think I was thinking about? I could have been thinking about your mulch arrows, I guess. Yeah. What would you do if someone dropped Omarian Hampton? Congratulate them. This backfield is a three way split all the way through and I don't know if there's even one good running back on this team at this point. Trade him. Trade him. What are you going to get for? Chargers. Trade him. Oh, the charger. I don't know. Sure. That's what they're going to do. Trade them. But Chiefs, other than Kenneth Walker played an awful, uninspired football game today. They were. It was gross. Were you at least were you at least okay with what Xavier worthy did? He made a couple of nice catches on bad throws from my homes. It was it was like they just knew they showed up for a preseason game. I watched this team play the dolphins, the chargers are the worst team in NFL. Well, yeah, my homes, my homes is thrown 30 or fewer pass attempts in four of five games. He started out the 2024 season similarly. He threw four fewer than 30 passes in four of six games. And then in the last 10 games, the year he averaged 39.4 pass attempts per game. Pull up that handy dandy laminated schedule Dave and let's talk, let's talk about what's coming for the Chiefs. We're going to throw up a few more passes Seattle coming weeks Seattle next week, Denver after that jets after that Atlanta after that. Why? Why do you think he's going to do that? I think they're going to be in more competitive games. I don't I mean, I don't see a lot of good offenses on this schedule. Seattle's fine Denver worst, they're basically the chargers jets. Now, what I don't know, I mean, every offense you said was better than the dolphins in the chargers. They run the boss. So what I mean, I don't think well, I can keep this pace up, but didn't they didn't that change. It was a couple of hours going into the weekend. And he sucked. Yeah. That's true. Didn't the chiefs lose a couple of linemen in this game? Yep. One to a concussion. Um, I don't remember what the other one was, but yeah, they were playing, um, third string linemen, but so were the chargers, they were, they were very comfortable in this environment. But those guys have played a lot of preseason games against opponents like this. If you knew that Joe and Roshan Slater were going to play, uh, next week, it's, it's not going to happen once on IR. But whenever they come back and they're going to play, would it make you feel better about any of the chargers? No, they played the start of the season. Always really bad at the start of the season. All right. Serious question here. Serious question. They're going to their buy. Do you think they'll get something sorted out and Amari and Hampton will be good after the buy? No. If, uh, interim offense coordinator, Adam Gase, decide to run Amari and Hampton more, and if you're still not laughing with what I'm saying, uh, no, there's nothing's going to get better. The biggest. I'm not laughing. Disappointment and bust and maybe the last 10 years. Okay. Second question. Second question. The most to know. The most hilarious thing is that Adam Gase is the backup plan. They just decide we're going to just fire everybody except our ball, and he just coaches everything. Second question is do you think Xavier Worthy will continue to be good when, where she rises back? No. Nope. Okay. Let me ask a third question. No. Can we go to the next game, please? Do you think the chiefs go full nuclear and move Justin Herbert? If a team like the giants, chargers, yes, that's what I meant. I was thinking how he might try to pull the golf steford deal. Team loads up with first round picks to the chargers for Herbert. I mean, he's found like the next Andrew luck based on the things he's saying. And like, again, again, I know the situation's awful and I feel bad for him. Every week, it's one of the worst interceptions I've ever seen. I know. What is happening? Unbelievable. I was through a terrible interception, but there are at least other players from his team in the general vicinity of the ball. I would like James Winston and Justin Herbert have an interception competition. All right. Let's go to Buffalo 33 Las Vegas 30. If you're wondering what happened with Brock Bowers, Christian Benford did not shadow him, but he was on him a lot and he did a great job to the point where JJ Watts said on the broadcast like, don't take Christian Benford off of Brock Bowers. Bowers had a few catches on one possession and he said put 47 back on Bowers. I would put him on him for the rest of the game. That's what JJ Watts said. It's pretty clear. Keon Coleman is good without DJ Moore. They're going into their buy. I assume DJ Moore will be back. Do you guys think Keon Coleman or Khalil Shakir is worth holding through the buy? You should try to, especially in the case of I think, but I'm not in her percent sure. There's no guarantee that Moore returns. I mean, right. There's not. He got in a practice on Friday. He was questionable. So that's just. He did the same thing two weeks a row, essentially. He practiced Friday in a non-contact Jersey and I agree with you. He's probably getting closer. My guess is they saw their buy coming up and.
Maybe they can beat the Raiders without him. I'm not going to say that's what they said, but who knows? Getting him healthy is a party. If they do have Baltimore and Minnesota after the buy, how good are you going to feel starting those guys if DJ Moore is playing? No. No. Yeah. They're dropable. I don't think that they're, like, must-drops by any stretch. He's. Kind of cool. Looks great, though. Yeah. He really does look like a much better player than he did last year, yes. Keith, if you had Ashton Gentie, then carries 22 yards and a touchdown. Four catches, 36 yards. Are you happy? I mean, I'm happy with the fantasy production. I'm going to be a little bit nervous every week. I think I would probably rather have Chase Brown and Ashton Gentie, and I'd rather have Ashton Gentie than Jalen Warren. AJ Brown and Ashton Gentie rest of season. I'll take Gentie. Gentie. As long as they're throwing in the ball, Gentie. Arizona 18, Ram 16. Thomas points out that the 2026 chargers are the biggest disappointment since the 2026 Rams. It's unbelievable. That was fantastic. This is my favorite stat related to this game. The Arizona Cardinals have won more games that so far than the Rams and chargers combined. Yeah. It's unbelievable. Yeah. It wasn't a great game for the chargers. Remember the Cardinals, though, from the fantasy standpoint, but yeah, go ahead, Jamie. We may have an unhappy player here. Karin Williams after the game, did you already said? Yes. Great quote. Great quote. What do you say? He was asked why he thought the team could sustain the energy drive to drive. Can't tell you, bro, probably because I'm not out there. Meanwhile, he played 71% of the snaps, all but one of their third downs. They didn't get inside the 10, except for one snap, he was on it. This is going to be one to go back and watch and figure out what the hell happened. They just went hard. It was kind of like what the Bears did to Phoenix. I thought early in that game, which is like, we're going to come at you really, really hard at every play. And the Rams, offensive line didn't handle it very well. They were missing one or two guys. Yeah. They're left tackle, right? Right. They pressured him a lot and hit him a lot early in the game. I mean, to be honest with you, I don't think Stafford has played that well this year. No. Agreed. Missed an open man. And he's got almost as many interceptions this year as he had all of last year. So I don't know, but this was surprising for sure. And we'll see what the Devata Adams injury is. And one of the risks with starting a Rams tight end is always the Colby Parkinson thing. The Parkinson had more targets. He had the touchdown, just very strange, you know, and you just never know which tight end is going to be the guy. So unfortunately, for those of you who started Higby, he was started in 54% of leagues. It was a Parkinson day today. Parkinson had five catches, 31 yards and a touchdown on six targets. How good is Sean McVegan to be on Monday night football night, sir? If Jeremiah love is out next week, you're going to go with Tyler Algier, Zanaven Knight, BAM Knight. Either if I can help it, yeah. Still out here. Denver. Yeah. It looked to me like they didn't really change Algier's role, and that they just kept him in that same passing down type role. I think it might look lower, screw this up. I don't know if he screwed it up. They won. Yeah. Yeah. I think it was just better. He had the bigger run, then. Knight hit a couple of big runs early in the game, and they just stayed with the hot hand. If next game Algier has a couple of big runs early in the game, you'll get a lot more carries. And on that note, I'm disappointed you only have one catch. I'd like to end by saying that I understand riding the hot hand, I understand fumbling, you know, punishing people for fumbling. I think that John Harball cost a giant's game today by benching the only guy who has like any capability of running the football. Tyrone Tracy scored two touchdowns. Yeah. He scored a receiving touchdown. And then fine. You know what? He hit the ball. He even singled Terry and Najie Harris the ball singled Terry look great at the end. Oh, whatever. And every time the giant. You know who led the team in rushing? JJ McCarthy. JJ McCarthy led the team in rushing with like six yards. And every time the giants were in third and eight on every possession, because they couldn't run the freaking ball. They're terrible on first down. So you proved your freaking point. Congratulations. You proved your point. What did you prove? That you had a terrible running game and you cost yourself a game because you couldn't do a jack crap on first down? Way to go. Don't you remember the preseason quote? And you said we were making too much of it. No. I just don't think they don't. They were talking about Camp Scataboo starting a fight. Oh, yeah. A training camp and Harbaugh was all pissed off at him. Yeah. I think they're just they don't like this nonsense. No, that's one reporter who it's stable. It's tables fall really. I think. I think what. What today showed us is they could trade Jackson Dart to the Eagles for say one Barclay. Uh-huh. And JJ McCarthy is your future starter. There you go. Yeah. I think this is a perfect time to plug Dan's podcast Big Blue banter. Yeah. Watch me. Give you a great episode tonight. I don't know. We just got a lot of banter from a big blue fan just now and that was pretty good. Uh-huh. All right. Well, well, it is the first time you've worn this that Shimato the entire day. Uh-huh. I went on the show. Yes. This giant hoodie. Uh-huh. No, I've worn it before. I think. It's very, very nice hoodie. Very comfortable hoodie. We pushed them. I didn't push them. They suck. We already. Everyone knows they suck. They're just in the sucky division. They're clearly the best team in the division. By the way. I think Dallas. You, he, he, he think they, you have to, you have to watch Adam's rants on the back. What was it about? What did he do? Oh my god. I was broadcasting with the two biggest hypocrites in fantasy football history. Wrong. Wrong. We explained ourselves perfectly clear. Adam's shoulders. If you see where, if you see where the, the draft board. Is where our names are. That's how high Adam's shoulders were. He was so, so upset. Oh, man. It was great. And honestly, like, reading the comments, there are so many people that are like, Adam, you're so wrong. And so many people were like, Adam is right. It was a really great argument. I encourage you to. So I had a, a buddy of mine that I didn't know listens to our show. And he's like, there was, it was a question about a husband and wife making a trade. And he just texted me 100% collusion. And so, then his wife was, and so I mentioned a name on the show. And then his wife was like, Oh, what's the, what's the part where you ref, where you said his name? And I said, it was between the husband and wife cheating and the alligator story. Like, this is so crazy. It was show. Yeah. It was, that's the bail bag for you. I was talking about, I'll be out. Oh, one more thing, one more thing. Somebody on the show was turning 50. Oh, yeah. That's tomorrow. Yeah. Somebody else on the show knew that somebody was turning 50. He decided until right now to even bring it up on the show. Oh, that's a failure on my part. He's having 50th birthday. I got, I got a couple, I got a couple years. Jamie, Monday is Jamie's 50th birthday. Holy cow. Happy birthday. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Yes. How are you celebrating? How am I celebrating? Doing rankings, running a waiver column, doing beat the waiver wire without him. Running somebody to somewhere to practice? Don't you know what that word means, but it can't be good. We love our everybody, have a good one.

FAQs
Jeremy Bernard and Luther Burton were highlighted as top winners. Bernard had a strong game with multiple targets and a high start percentage, while Burton performed well against the Bears alongside Kyle Pits.
Cam Scataboo was identified as a major loser after being benched and receiving zero touches, despite being picked up on waivers. His performance and role were questioned, especially given his limited playing time.
Cam Scataboo was benched during the game and received zero touches, though he later played briefly as a blocker. His team's defensive adjustments and lack of carries made him a poor fantasy choice for the week.
Colson Loveland and Kyle Pits had notable games, with Pits seeing a significant increase in targets and snaps. Their performance suggests they are entering the starting conversation for upcoming games.
Bryce Young and CJ Stroud are performing strongly, with Stroud achieving over 29 fantasy points in London. Both are recommended as must-start quarterbacks due to consistent production and favorable matchups.
Devon Toews is not a top-tier option this week, as he struggled with targets and efficiency. However, his performance may improve as the season progresses, especially if the team's offense adjusts.
