Week 6 Upset Alerts + Commissioner’s Poll Top 25

The host provides a detailed analysis of key college football matchups in Week 6, focusing on potential upsets and statistical trends. Games like South Carolina vs. Florida, Wake Forest vs. NC State, and Ole Miss vs. Vanderbilt are evaluated based on team performance, defensive strengths, and offensive threats. The host highlights how recent results, player health, and defensive vulnerabilities shape the outlook, assigning upset ratings from 3 to 8. Notably, the analysis includes a critical look at the commissioners poll rankings, arguing they reflect team resumes rather than power ratings and defending Notre Dame’s high placement with a mix of data and subjective judgment. The host also emphasizes the importance of context, such as weather and travel, and warns against over-reliance on preseason rankings. A major point is the statistical disparity in team performance, especially in run defense, where teams like BYU and Oklahoma State are seen as strong. The segment concludes with a reminder of the show’s broader mission: to provide insightful, balanced, and data-driven coverage of college football. The host also touches on upcoming games, including LSU vs. Kentucky and Texas A&M vs. Missouri, underscoring the unpredictability and intensity of the season. The tone remains analytical yet accessible, blending humor with serious commentary. The show also promotes viewer engagement, including a subscriber milestone and a discount code for event tickets. Overall, it serves as a comprehensive preview of the college football season’s key matchups and narratives.

Super Bowl week continues, Jesse. For me, Super Bowl week continues. You got some of the biggest games in the country of the season. Overlapping with a landfall in Hurricane, which I don't want to make light of. We got a ton of viewers down on the Gulf Coast. Please be prepared. Please be safe. Strictly as it relates to the Alabama Georgia game, though, did you see what they did to me this morning on get up? They brought Ginger Z over from the Good Morning America set and Greenie just boxed me and her up and we talked weather. On live television, Jesse, for the world to see, it gets no better. Playoffs national championship. This has been it for me. We're jam packed high atop a splendid downtown Nashville Tennessee on this Thursday, October 8. The year of our Lord, 2026 upset alert meter. Got six games, got half a dozen of them. A good old fashioned six pack of upset, at least potential, that we're going to talk about momentarily. I got a new commissioners poll out, you know, that differs significantly from the JP poll. Some say change the name. I say, no, I'm good. Viewers guide, future award-winning viewers guide later in the show. And as some of you accurately pointed out the other night, why didn't you talk about UCLA Oregon? How come you didn't break down? Oh, I don't know. Texas A&M Missouri, LSU Kentucky caused God gave us a Thursday show to do that. So we split some of the predictions up into this show. So we're going to hit a lot of it tonight. Needless to say, we're jam packed, college football season, almost halfway through Hendersonville, Tennessee is tuned in. Florence South, Carolina, Littleton, Colorado, Decatur, Illinois. Thank you so much. Jesse reliably informs me that the staff is efforting our lies subscriber monitor. So it'll be up soon. In the meantime, you need to trust me when I tell you we are rapidly paper popper stat rapidly approaching 600,000 subscribers, which means nothing to you, but it means the world to us. So thank you. If you've already subscribed in, please do so. If you have not, there is no catch. It doesn't sign you up for anything. We just think it looks really cool when we have 600,000 subs because we've never had 600 K before, and we could soon. Okay, let's dive into the show. Thursday's around here mean upsettlers. And I'm going to rate them all in a one to 10 scale of concern that I have. South Carolina is going to Florida. This line was 14 and a half and then it was 13 and a half. And now wouldn't you know it over a fan duel. I'm looking at the monitor right now. Does that say Florida minus 11 and a half? Jesse someone smells something here. Well, I'm going to put a six on this game. I'm not ready to call for the upset because South Carolina doesn't beat SEC teams anymore. They've lost 10 of their last 11. So I'm not ready to do that. But I am ready to point out some facts. And then you can do with these facts, whatever you want to can Florida run the ball. Well, in general, yeah, they can't last week. No, they couldn't. They had 25 carriers for 42 yards and get some Missouri that you may think to yourself. Okay, that's Missouri though. Missouri's a top 25 team. South Carolina sucks. Yeah. Well, their record does. They are a top 30 run defense. They can actually halfway decently limit you on the ground. Now, if Jaden boss, Texden, John, some were all saying, I don't care about that. Well, that's out of my control. Florida may run it for 200 this weekend. All I'm saying is this is not a poorest run defense. And then on the other side, Florida South Carolina, right, it can run the ball fairly effectively. Missouri ran it all over Florida. And South Carolina's got the number seven rushing attack in the country. Florida also, the number 128 pass defense in the country. And that's really where the question is, the question is, does that matter? Can this South Carolina passing attack take advantage of much of anything right now remains to be seen? That's why this number is minus 11 and a half instead of minus 5 and a half or six and a half. I'm going to put a six on this one because the South Carolina can take advantage of some of those statistical opportunities. It could be a four quarter game. Of course, you know, as well as I do, it doesn't even matter if South Carolina gets up big right now. They're just up big to give it away. And I'm speaking hurtfully, but that's only because I want to see them thrive in October. And right now, it's just not happening. Next up, this is a small spread. Obviously, but I thought we should throw an in because we didn't touch on this game Tuesday. Wake Forest is a three and a half point favorite at NC State. There's a trap mentally that college football will put you in sometimes where when you see something happen early in the year, it like, especially if it's a bad thing, you kind of freeze that in your mind. And then you don't watch that team again. So with NC State, what'd you see early? Well, you saw him get drug by Virginia. And then you didn't watch the Richmond game. So a couple of weekends later, you're like, all right, I'll give him another shot. They're going to Vanderbilt. The last play, the games, the most insane thing you've ever seen in your life. So NC State has started one and two. And you haven't watched them since then in all likelihood. Well, I'm here to inform you. They got by app state. They beat Louisville last week. And now they go, well, they're at home. Wake Forest comes in minus three and a half. Jake Dickard is 13 and five so far at Wake Forest, geo Lopez. Man, you want to talk about the Jake Dickard effect and the Wake Forest effect. Look at our guy at North Carolina last year and look at the quarterback play this year at Wake Forest. Coaching matters, nothing I'm questioning. Bella check as a coach, but surroundings matter environment matters. So Wake Forest, 107th in the country in pass yards per game allowed. The reason I'm putting an eight on the upset alert concern meter here, which wouldn't be a huge upset lines three and a half. I'll grant you that. But the reason is CJ Bailey is coming off a career high in passing yards. I don't want to alarm anyone, but NC State's got a decent shot here to win a conference game. That's an alarming thing. Actually, I probably alarmed a lot of people with that. Next up, now this one would be a little bit bigger of an eyebrow razor. Ole Miss is coming off a buy. Ole Miss is heading here to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt. Ole Miss minus nine and a half. Vandy's coming off that Georgia loss last week. Really physical game too. So Jared Curtis is probably at quarterback for Vanderbilt, which is good because Vandy is in the 100s in the one teens to be exact running the ball this year. Quarterback has been their leading rusher to other last three games. So the Ole Miss run defense technically can be had. There are 127th in the country in that category. I don't know that Vandy can run the ball on anyone. They could do that thing, which an alarming number of teams are doing these days, where I say something that reflects what the team has been. For example, Vanderbilt can't run the ball. Then Vandy goes and runs for 150, and then they put me stating facts in their post game hype video. That seems unfair, Jesse. I'm looking at you, Missouri. That seems a little bit unfair. And wouldn't you know, and I'm going to rank Missouri above where the AP has them in the commissioners poll later anyway. I'm not a vengeful person. I'm not a spiteful person, maybe just a little bit. But Ole Miss, can you run the ball on them? Vandy, can you run the ball on anyone? They're getting Q1 Lacey back. It's a must win for Ole Miss. I don't know if it's a must cover. It's a must win for Ole Miss because they've still got Missouri at Texas, Georgia, Mississippi state. They've already got a conference loss, obviously, against Florida. So they're coming out of the buy. That's your last one. You only get one buy in this year. So you've got to come out hot. I'm putting a four and a half on this because I don't think Vandy can run the ball. And I think it's going to be ugly probably. It's going to be rainy. In fact, the weather's probably going to be a lot worse at that game than Georgia, Alabama. But I'll still take Ole Miss. I think they may even cover. Needless to say, I'm going to put about a four, four and a half on the upset alert concern. A little bit higher at Oklahoma state. So UCF goes to Oak State. Cowboys minus 11 and a half. Be honest with me. No one else is here. It's just you and I talking amongst ourselves. Have you watched much UCF this year? See a lot of you shaking your head. No, no. That's okay. That's what I'm here for. We have. So they played one of the grossest games of the year against Pitt by gross. I mean, it was pouring down rain. And they lost 12 to 7. It's one possession game. Then they went to Houston. And they led in the fourth quarter. But they lost the space game. Helmets aside. They lost the game. And they've been cast aside. They've been left for dead. Jesse. They're three and two. And it's not a terrible team. And they're going to still water to face Oklahoma State. The early toast of the big 12 kind of coming from out of nowhere. Drew Mesta maker looks great. Playing the number 88 pass defense in this game. He should go off. Well, Duke Watson's pretty good running back. And Oklahoma States got a run defense barely in the top 100 right now. So if you want to know how this game could get weird, it could get weird. Would UCF just be better than you think they are shortening the game limiting possessions. And then Oklahoma State is 114th in the country and turnover margin while UCF is top is plus five, not top five. They're plus five so far. So they forced turnovers. They can run the ball halfway decently. I'm going to put a five on this one. I think this one bears close watching. Tennessee is nearly a two touchdown favorite at Arkansas or to hear my Tennessee brethren tell the story. We're only a two touchdown favorite against Arkansas. 13 and a half actually is the number. Listen to me. Under no circumstances can this happen. You can't lose to Arkansas in this conference this year. You just can't. I don't know. I don't care where they play the game. They could play it in a Tyson chicken parking lot. You can't lose to Arkansas. 13 and a half is a pretty big number on the road. in the SEC, you gotta go grind this thing out. George McIntyre is gonna get the start. Tennessee's got Bama next week. So I get technically how you could sell me on this being a look ahead game. I don't think it is. I think everyone's alarm and antenna is up right now because of the quarterback situation and the fact that Tennessee hasn't gone on the road in conference yet. So this is their first time out on the road, at least against a conference opponent. Arkansas, maybe they sell out against the run forced George McIntyre into some mistakes. Maybe you hit a couple of pop plays on them. That's not gonna happen. I'll put a three on this just because of the quarterback deal. I don't think that's gonna happen. And in the big 12 on a Friday night, Iowa State plays Brigham Young. Brigham Young minus 10 and a half. L.J. Martin's out four to six weeks. I was a big 12 offensive player of the year last year, Jesse. Yeah, so it's a pretty big loss for Brigham Young. Iowa State 85th run defense in the country. So you would think Brigham Young under normal circumstances with Martin Healthy would be primed to take advantage of that. They've got good talent there, even without Martin. And you can always just kind of blindly assume that about Brigham Young team. So I assume they'll still take somewhat advantage of it. I think Brigham Young's run dees probably the difference here 'cause Aiden Flora had two 12 on the ground and three touchdowns versus West Virginia. Brigham Young's a top 10 run defense. So either they just vice grip Iowa State grinds to a halt or maybe Iowa State's legit and they can scale that performance against a better defense. But if this is a low scoring game, which most of these are gonna be with Brigham Young, the problem becomes it's a lower variance game. The lower the score, the higher the variance, which just means it's a really fancy, overly complicated way of saying one play makes all the difference in the world. If it's a high scoring game, there's no one play that usually makes all the difference. But when you get yourself into that environment, I don't even care if the line is minus 10 and a half. Brigham Young covering 10 and a half here is probably like 23 to 10. That's kind of how those scores look. So I'm gonna put a five on it. That's a Friday night game and we'll monitor that one. So those are your upsets alerts for this week. Week six is a big week, ladies and gentlemen. Week six, we are going to two games this weekend. Tomorrow, we will hop on a plane and we will aviate ourselves up to Lincoln, Nebraska. We'll be there tomorrow on ESPN actually from two to three Eastern, one to two central time, local time there, right outside the stadium. You guys are free to come join us. Myself, Wilcompton, Taylor LeWon, producer Jesse, we're in a headset somewhere, porn, sweat, running around, yelling at people. Who are you talking to in that headset? Is that thing plugged in? Like are you really talking to people? Wow. Okay then, there was a trade proposal that could see Jesse leave us. But we will see cause Georgia Tech hasn't answered us yet. Georgia Tech's got some sweet helmets out this weekend and I offer Georgia Tech producer Jesse, the human, in exchange for one of the helmets. And then Georgia Tech responded and said we're listening and then I had to take it offline cause apparently there are laws against that. It's getting dangerously close to some really illegal stuff. So I will continue the conversation on the phone, probably with Brent Key himself. I assume he has to make the decision on that. Anyway, that has nothing to do with Nebraska. So we will be up there tomorrow. Okay, Saturday, lock in here. We will be on the field right there with Wilcompton, Taylor LeWon, all of us. We got like 14 field passes pretty absurd. And then we'll head down to Tuscaloosa later that afternoon for Georgia, Alabama. Anyway, I'm telling you that not to brag, although it is awesome to get to do this. It means we have multiple don't tread on Saturday T-shirts in the Pate State store right now. And these things have flown. Both of them are amongst our best sellers ever already. And it's just now Thursday. So PateStateMaterial.com, you can get the Bama themed one, you can get the Nebraska themed one. See the tough part Jesse? Maybe we adjust this in the future. Like the Georgia folks have been in my ear because they're saying why can't we get a Georgia themed when since we're in the game. We do it based on where the games being played. Like the campus that we're gonna be on. Now, we go to Georgia a lot. So I assume we'll probably get there. Some point this year, no promises. But right now, PateStateMaterial.com and also the entire spooky Saturday line is there, prezz to his credit. Not known for his design ideas, came up with a great idea earlier today. And I'm not gonna say it on air 'cause someone could steal it before we trademark it. But for all the good products already there, we may have at least one more coming down the tracks. That's the only hint I'll give you. - The new NFL season is here and you should be listening to NFL Daily as we march along to Super Bowl 61. I was like, no, I don't want to do it. You said no. I played with players that didn't. I don't think that they really, truly love the game. I found the love with the ball at my foot. But in my head, it was the long game. It was like, I don't care what I'm being asked to do at Fox. And I was like, yeah, actually, and he goes, "We think about my Jaguars this year." I realized, no one's ever asked me that question ever about anything. And I was like, "Divor." You only need one thing, and that's the Get Worse podcast. - Listen to Get Worse with Kyle Pru on the IHR Radio App Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. - Let's move on. Jesse, correct me if I'm wrong, 'cause I had my papers mixed up. This is where we're doing UCLA, right? Yeah, we're doing UCLA here. Okay, never mind. We're fixed now. Big game in Eugene. Big game in Eugene, Saturday, 3.30 Eastern, which would mean it's a 12.30 kick there. Fall foliage has gotta be popping up there right about now too. UCLA versus Oregon, great helmet game if they don't mess it up. At Kenny Far, we'll come through. I don't know what UCLA is wearing. Great helmet game, great uniform game. How do we discuss this game in December? Do you remember last year when Indiana went up to Oregon? And everyone, I'll scratch that, not everyone. Some people, not a wanna name names, 'cause it could throw my own self under the bus, thought that's the moment where Indiana gets exposed. That's the moment, unlike the year before, where they finally face stiff, regular season competition. And instead, Indiana went up there and took it to Oregon. So a year later, we have a situation brewing at UCLA where people are saying, man, that kind of feels like Indiana a little bit. Bob Chesney brought his guys from JMU and they're surgeon early. So I'm sitting here on October 8th. And I'm thinking to myself, what are we saying about this game in December? Because by December, we'll know everything about both of these teams. Are we going to be looking at it saying, you remember that day in early October? That's the day Oregon. They had stumbled out of the gate a little bit, but that's the day they really put their foot on the gas. And they exposed that UCLA was not really a contender. Or are we saying that day, October 10th, that was the day we realized UCLA may really be the next Indiana? That's the challenge because we don't know. Dylan Raiola is starting for Oregon. That's been made official. And I think that's where you got to start. Dylan Raiola can do this. You know, this is a proven starter. He's got experience under his belt. He threw for 289 against USC when he came in the other day, a pulled him out of the fire, huge credit to him, huge credit to Oregon. UCLA's past defense is 91st in the country. USC's is 97th in the country. So profile wise, he's facing a similar challenge here defensively to what he faced the other day. He gets to do it at home here. But since that Oklahoma state loss, Oregon feels like Oregon, but it's limited in sample size. So of course, they gutted one out against Portland State, barely beat him by 80, but they gutted that one out. But then in all seriousness, they went to USC and they were as back against the wall as you could possibly be. And they won, they won by double digits. And now they come home off a buy. And this is kind of where you find out how back they are, how back to normal they are, cause an Oregon that's really Oregon runs the ball. Like Dylan Raiola can throw for 250, you can throw for 275. But I mean, Davidson, Deere Hill, those guys got to be able to run the ball. Right now, UCLA has the number 16 run defense in the country, depending on how much stock you put in limiting Cal, Maryland, and Purdue. But that's the thing. It could be very legitimate. We just don't know. There's still enough of that out there where some teams just haven't played stiff competition. And we still don't really know. Can Niko Yamalaya have a throw UCLA back into a game? To me, if I'm Dan Laning, that's what I'm dying to find out. I want to get up early on these dudes. I want to put him in an unfamiliar position cause UCLA's been held under 210 passing yards and three of their last four games. But the side note there is they haven't had to throw it. They've been up on teams. They've been running the ball on teams. They've been putting teams away. So yet again, maybe they can do it. And they just hadn't had to do it yet. But they have had a cap buster pass at least one of them every game. And that Oregon defense right now is 91st and explosive pass plays allowed. That if this game breaks the other way, will be a pivotal reason why it breaks the other way. That and Oregon can't run the ball nearly as effectively as we thought they would. The backup quarterback theories in play here, Jesse, like for a long time, when I've done this show, I've always said, I love backup quarterbacks in college football, which sounds stupid. It's not that I think all backup quarterbacks are better than the starter. The starter is the starter for a reason. But there's a thing that happens at the college level a lot. And that is when you have a capable backup quarterback, the production and potential doesn't fall off a cliff. It may dip. But in the aggregate of all this happening, the collective locker room galvanizes. There's this psychology about seeing your starter go down and watching your backup have to go in that convinces everyone I got to do a little bit more. And sometimes the total sum of that is you get a team that plays well above its skis relative to what you had seen so far this year. And I really think based on the pride and performance you saw Oregon have against USC, when Dante Moore went down that that will happen here. So let's take a look at what the model thinks Fandall has Oregon minus 11 and a half model agrees. And this is with Dylan Ryeola as the starter. We got Oregon minus 11. I am rolling with Oregon. I could be dead wrong, man. Maybe this is Indiana 2.0. I'm going to pay to find out. Actually, I'm not I'm not betting the game at all. But still I'm going to put my I'm going to put my pick on the line to find out. I'll take Oregon and I'll lay the 11 and a half. I somewhere deep down inside of me, I still believe that's Oregon. Some guy some gone Twitter earlier today. Didn't like my rankings. I put out and said he hopes I lose my chapstick again. I got my chapstick. It's not the rub on kind though. This is kind of you got spread on your lips yourself. Carmex. No free shout outs. But this isn't a free shout out. This is Ram. Ram is a partner of ours. Hit it with the truck Bradley. Boom. Love that. One of my favorite parts. That's really what you miss. If you listen to the show on podcast, you don't get to see the animated truck go across the screen. You just have to picture it in your mind. It's a fun game too. But still nothing stops college football. Nothing stops Ram. Imagine this Jesse. If you just had capability and durability that you could count on all season long, that's all I ask of you. It's hit miss. That's all I ask of you. Put a headset on and yell. Yeah, put put your headset on and yell on the mic. That is Ram. That is Ram. They'll come through for you. The Ram 1500 is America's most dependable full size truck 10 year 100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty. It's a beautiful thing. We appreciate Ram. No, a lot of you are traversing the country this week headed to your tailgates and a Ram. You are us. You are us. Thank you. We get back to the show here. The commissioners pole is out. This is for those interested. My rankings. Not power ratings. Nothing to do with Fandall. Nothing to do in neutral field. Nothing to do with who would be favored. This right here is rankings. This is me. If I had a vote in the AP poll, what I would put on my ballot. Okay, are we clear there? I put it out earlier today. I give a few hours for feedback and then we comb through the ones that aren't bots and we go to the real people and we screenshot a few of them. Past tense screen shot. And let's show you because someone noticed Indiana jumped a few spots. Larry said Indiana jumped three spots for beating Rutgers. I'm starting to lose faith in the commissioners poll. No, no, no, Larry. Don't lose faith. Not in week six. Wait till at least week 10 to lose faith. Larry know Indiana didn't jump three spots for beating Rutgers. I want to draw to your attention to number 25 down there. That says Northwestern. Why is Northwestern all the sudden ranked? Because this has to do with Indiana. Remember a couple weeks ago. Indiana goes to Northwestern or Indiana or Northwestern goes to Indiana. Rather, we're looking game, dude. Really close game. Look for a second like Northwestern and win and Indiana pulled it out and then Kurt Signetti said afterwards, that's a good football team. Well, you didn't believe in Larry. Penn State believes him because Northwestern ran for what was it? A quarter mile, half a mile in Penn State. Well, all of a sudden Northwestern looks really good. Therefore, you beating them close gains its value and that's why Indiana jumped. Their resume got beefed up a little bit. Someone was pointing out Mississippi State and UCLA compared to LSU jamming, Jimmy James, J cubed for short, said, you think Mississippi State and UCLA can beat LSU? Okay. Well, first off, I'm not sure if they could. I assume if we played the game a hundred times, yeah, they would, but that's irrelevant. That's not what we're doing here because this is not the JP poll. Correct me if I'm wrong, Jesse. I believe we had LSU well above Mississippi State and UCLA in the JP poll because LSU would be favored if those matchups happen, but this is a ranking. So this is not so much how I think the teams would fare. It is about what you've earned. LSU has got plenty of opportunities to earn their way right back up into the top five this year, but in the meantime, I just think that's how the resumes kind of stack up. And there may be a little bit, you know, like a smidge of an eyeball test, which I'm about to touch on in a second, but largely, I just think Mississippi State has earned the ability or the right rather to be up there. UCLA, I think the same thing, LSU, time will tell, because again, they have several big time games coming up. Speaking of the eyeball test, so I got to get really nuanced here. Someone talked about Notre Dame and it was JJF. He said, serious question here. It's my favorite kind. He said, I always hear people talking about resume, but I always see Notre Dame ranked in the top 10. How does their resume support that? Okay, that's a good question. So at this point in the season, I'm totally done with preseason thoughts, preseason rankings. I've long since divorced myself from what I thought in July. So like if I thought you were the number one team in the country, but now you're three and two, I'm not still clinging to a little bit of what I thought about you in the preseason. I've got five games worth of body of work I can go on. So with Notre Dame, what he's asking there is if you're claiming to be judging these teams now based off resume, and Notre Dame hasn't really played much of anyone, how can you have them that high? So I'll tell you my personal philosophy on this, especially with teams like Notre Dame, which I will grant you is kind of a special case and maybe you think that's unfair. Okay, you think it's unfair. My philosophy on this is go like 85% resume, 15% eyeball test or feel. It could be 90, 10, whatever. What I'm saying is, for a team like Notre Dame, I do put a little sliver of eyeball test in there, of feel in there. And I gotta do that only because I think it's reality. And I think that Notre Dame, like I'm not, I'm not trying to arbitrarily hold them down because of a strength of schedule that I may not apply equally to other teams. I don't know, I just, I think they're really good. And I think they've looked pretty good. It's kind of a weird looking game last week with UCA or UNC, kind of rainy too. So that's why I do. Like Indiana right now. Yeah, they got a close win against Northwestern, but even with that, if I didn't think a certain thing about Indiana, I probably wouldn't have that resume alone in the top 10, maybe 15 to 20, something like that. But there's a little something extra, I feel about Indiana, I feel about Notre Dame. You can say that that's unrealized potential. You can also say that that is a standard that is unevenly applied. And to a certain extent, you are right about that. 'Cause I do give them just a slight benefit of doubt 'cause I think they're really good with the understanding that it'll all work itself out. And if I'm wrong, then I will erase all that in my head. Like if Notre Dame goes to bring him young and loses in a few weeks, forget about what I thought they were. You're tossed right in the hopper with the rest of 'em. You're based solely on resume just like the rest of 'em. Oh, the path for Texas is insane. Glass said, "Sheesh." Texas has to play 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and three rivalry games. Bradley put that pole back up. 8, 9, 10, 11, what was it? So they got to play Missouri. This is still to come, by the way. Missouri, Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU. And they got three rivalry games left. Texas A&M being one of them, Oklahoma this weekend. I mean, think about that, Jesse. If we were to go into Red River and we were predicting this in July, and we would say by the time Texas heads to Dallas, they'll still have to play 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13. So they'll have to play five top 15 teams, none of which will be Oklahoma. Mississippi State may be one. I know a lot of you out there have a problem, because you think this entire process is built to benefit the SEC, and we prop up these SEC teams with all the ranked matchups they have left. But you know what, if that's falsely, if that's a falsely earned reputation, it'll flesh itself out by November. And they won't have that many ranked wins or matchups on their resume. I happen to think the SEC's pretty valid as a conference right now. So I think it's justifiable to have these teams where they are. Lastly, this is where you got to pay attention. This is where I put out my warning. You know, anyone who's going to clip this out of context to make sure you have this nugget in there, Detroit truth of which there are several, but this is one of them. Detroit truth or hit us and said, I was told you hate Missouri and think Florida is better. This couldn't be. He is referencing earlier this week. I put out the J.P. poll, which is a very, very basic exercise that throws about 25% of the population's mind into a blender every week. And that exercise is simply, we think it's fun to put out a list every week where the teams are stacked in order of who would be favored against who on a neutral field. Florida got drug by Missouri last week. But it's a fact that Florida would still be favored on a neutral field with those same two teams playing in tomorrow. That's hard for some people to understand, but it is reality. To further prove that, because a lot of people came at me, I hit Fandall and we asked the traders, what would the line be? Not only did they say Florida would still be favored, it was over a field goal, it was Florida minus four. So it's like unequivocally, we were right. It wasn't even opinion, we were right. Still got trashed. And that was this big thing on the internet this week. So he's joking with this question, but he said, wait a second, if Florida was ahead of Missouri and the J.P. poll, if Florida would be favored, why do you have them ranked behind Missouri? Great question, cause Missouri beat their eyes out. That's why, and in a non-power rating world, I.E. and a merit-based world in the world where we're ranking teams instead of power rating them, Missouri belongs in front of Florida. Because they played a football game and Missouri definitively, unequivocally, methodically, violently beat Florida halfway to death. That's why they're ranked ahead of them. I think I've been pretty clear. So I can't wait to watch people intentionally confuse themselves on that. Here's what you shouldn't be confused about, whether you should stop at Quick Trip. Today, tomorrow, this week, this month, this year, Crispy Snacks, Jesse. That was my nickname in high school. But also, no, I won. I can't even pretend. Cannot even pretend. But Quick Trip loaded with Crispy Snacks. Now, I have been a cold brew on tap guy. I've been a trail mix guy. I've got my Quick Trip routine. So I actually had to go right down a lot of the Crispy Snack Availability at Quick Trip. I talked to Quick Trip Joe earlier this week. He told me to tell you, hey, yep, sent me some things that aren't related to this at all. But he and I were just talking back and forth. Anyway, chicken tenders, Jesse, yes, you're a plus on chicken tenders. How about mozzarella sticks? Yeah, Pennsylvania delicacy, absolutely. Waffle fries? You're indifferent on waffle fries or you're in on waffle fries. Two thumbs up. Okay, settle down. And Tater Tots. Salted or not? Yes, salted, absolutely. Jesse, eternally salty. As are his Tater Tots. That'll be clipped out of context later. So Quick Trip obviously could stuff you for miles and miles and miles. You're good, you're full. You don't need to stop again. And did you know they have gas out front that you can fill your car up with as well? And cold brew on tap and pizza slices and big cues. Diet Coke, I've been a little diet Coke kick lately. It just tastes better at Quick Trip though. I think they got more than what they bargained for in that read. That's what I think. We'll see what the feedback is. The new NFL season is here. And you should be listening to NFL Daily as we march along to Super Bowl 61. Last year we had Mike McDonald, Sam Darnell on the field after the game. Matthew Stafford coming off his MVPC on a dazzling darts from Matthew Stafford. Big time trades that shake up the NFL. AJ Brown is loose. And of course those Seahawks trying to run it back and win another Lombardi trope. The Seahawks win Super Bowl 60. They are bringing the Lombardi back to the Northwest. If it's happening on a football field, NFL Daily will cover it. Listen to NFL Daily on the I Heart Radio app Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm former USman's National Soccer Team player, Carly Lloyd on Fox Sports Reporter, Jenny Taft. Do you remember your initial reaction when Fox called you to be a part of the World Cup? You said no. I don't think that they really truly loved the game. I found the love with the ball at my flight. I'm going to go get some reps. And I'm going to learn it and love it and embrace it. He said, this group of people will never be in the same room as part of the same team ever again in your life. Listen to whatever it takes with Carly Lloyd and Jenny Taft on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, everybody. I'm Chuck Bryan at The Stuff You Should Know Podcast. And I'm Adam Pranaka of the Greatest Generation and Greatest Trek. We decided to start a golf comedy podcast because we're both big golf lovers. And we wanted to spread that joy. And it's called "Three Put Bogey." It's coming from the perspective of golfers who are sometimes good enough to hit two great chats in a row, but almost never good enough to hit three. And "Three Put Bogey" is kind of the purest expression of that. Every golfer knows what that's like. Obviously, we're gonna talk a lot about the game of golf, how absurd it is, and how fun it is, and how vexing and frustrating. But more than anything, just how much we love the greatest game in the world. We love it anyway. We're putting these out every Friday morning for your weekend golf routine. This is a show about sharing our experiences on the golf course and how absurd and funny they can be. And that's what "Three Put Bogey" is. is 3-foot bogey. everybody out every Friday. You can listen to it now on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. There are thousands of podcasts that can tell you how to better yourself. So if you're interested in getting thinner, going to therapy, starting peptide, setting boundaries, taking supplements, making you better getting closer, then I would humbly recommend other podcasts. But if you're interested in blackmail, love, bomb, and cloning yourself or getting revenge, then we've got a little something, something for a dastardly individual like you. Fake a back injury. Kill 'em. Kill 'em with a gun. The next time a bear is running at you, you just calmly stop what you're doing, you look the bear in the eye, and you say this isn't you. Do not preserve relationships. You don't need them. You only need one thing, and that's the GetWorks podcast. Listen to GetWorks with Kyle Pru on the IHR Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Okay, we got a couple of games we need to break down here still. LSU's at Kentucky this Saturday night. It's a seven Eastern six local time kickoff on ESPM. How about this stat? This is a big time paper popper, the most expensive get-in price of any game in the country. LSU Kentucky. Jesse, you know Georgia plays Bama this weekend. It's more expensive to get into Corrogor Field. Then it is to get into Bryantini Stadium. That's not a typo. That's a real thing that's happening. I know we haven't said it this week. We don't say it enough. God bless Willstein. There are a lot of things happen enough there. Like they've taken the offense from the hundreds to the 50s. A lot of statistical improvements, but here's the big improvement. People really, really care about Kentucky football right now. And we got a salute Willstein. Now he's got to win the game. Okay, but still, there are going to be a lot of people there paying a lot of money to watch it at least. This should be a ranked matchup. Shame on the AP. And in the commissioners poll, the poll of record, it is a ranked matchup. This game hinges on Sam Levit. So I can excite you or terrify you, whatever your stance is on Sam Levit. But 12 rush attempts. 12 plus every game, his first three games. He's had five combined against A&M and Mignis. Cause he's been hurt. But also, I'm not so sure that may not be a good thing here. I'm not so sure it may not benefit them a little bit. From him, just no one. I got to work from the pocket. I got to be a passer. I got to be a quarterback here. Kentucky's middle of the road and sacks. Defensively they're middle of the road and pressures. What the Kentucky defense can do is force you to drive the field. They have allowed zero cat buster pass plays so far this year. Sam Levit will turn the ball over every now and then. So they got to take what's given to him. If they'll do that consistently, they'll score. They should be able to score. On the other side, Kenny Menchi, quarterback there at Kentucky, versus American hero Blake Baker. It's a fascinating matchup. Kentucky wants to run it. They have two good running backs. LSU's got the number five run defense in the country. So it's going to be a tall task. But then again, that's what we thought. When Kentucky went into A&M and they just ran it all over A&M. Kiwan Lacey was hurt in that Ole Miss LSU game. And A&M is just bad. So that LSU run defense number, how real is that? How legit is that number five run defense? Is Blake Baker a fraud just so I can send it to him? Does Kentucky up in the stat profile though in all seriousness? It's still early. It's not early in the season, but it's still early enough where some teams are ranked a certain way. But it's just because their stat profile has been cooked a little bit, maybe, just maybe. This is one of those that Kentucky can expose. However, if they can expose it, this can eventually have to do a whole lot here. He has got an 11 to 1 touchdown to interception ratio right now, but he's taken 11 sacks, which would lead you to ask, okay, well, how good is LSU's pass rush? Top five pressure rate in the country. So it turns out Blake Baker is not a fraud. He is very much the real deal and his defense is too. Kentucky cannot possibly be worse if their life depended on it, converting third downs. They're 138th. Did we check, Jesse? Is that dead last? That so it can't be worse? If Kentucky just quit, they wouldn't drop below 138. Sonny side could only get better. Maybe not against LSU because they're number nine defensively in that category. They should handle this road spot. They should be okay. They already went to Oxford. No one's facing a more hostile road environment all year than that. The Kentucky linebacker room's banged up, but so is LSU. Whitwick still out. Trade is green still out. Let's take a look at what the model thinks. Fandall right now has a number of eight and a half LSU minus eight and a half. Model agrees to the number LSU minus eight and a half. What do I think? I don't love the matchup for Kentucky. So LSU also has far less safety net to fall into since they already lost. Last time they went on the road. I think they're going to go up there and I think it actually could resemble the Bama game where it's a close game first half. But then there's this damn break moment. There's like an avalanche moment and then LSU kind of opens it up late. And so I think LSU will cover this game and win by double digits. They're watching us in Salt Lake City, Utah. Beautiful out there this time of year. But it is in Meridian, Mississippi, too. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Rolling Green, Kentucky, Ditto. They're watching us everywhere. If you are, thank you so much. Please do us the small favor of clicking that little thumbs up button. That means like and subscribe to the channel. We have a lot of fun here. Don't take it too seriously. It's just college football all year. Let's hop back in here. We got a couple of other things to get to, including our award winning viewers guide coming up in a little while. Texas A&M's at Missouri this Saturday. It's a noon kickoff on ABC. That's 11 a.m. Local. What would you guess the line is if you didn't see it on your screen? What about three and a half? You take out home field advantage. This is Fandall telling you these teams are very similar. And they haven't looked very similar this year. Have they? So I know that line seems weird, but I should also inform you. It hasn't moved at all the entire week. When's the last time you heard that? Oh, I don't know a couple of weeks ago. And Florida opened as a favorite against Ole Miss. And I think that move all week, then you saw the outcome. There is, of course, the old TLT in play here. The transitive let down theory goes a little something like this. Ole Miss beats LSU. And then the next week, Ole Miss goes to the swamp and they get owned by Florida, who then the next week goes to Missouri and gets owned by Missouri, who then the next week plays Texas A&M and we don't know. The nursery rhyme is unfinished. We have no idea how it plays out there. What can Texas A&M manage offensively? I ask this question rhetorically. I don't know. I don't know the answer every week. I think it's going to click into place and it doesn't. The main component from last year's team is absent. The explosive pass is not here. They were 27th in explosive passing last year. There are 129th right now with that new quarterback. What's that I'm being told is the same guy. Oh, we'll call and climb. Must be a really, really valuable commodity current head coach at Kansas State. Missouri is 99th in pass yards per game, but most of that, this is defensively. But most of that's due to the fact that they had to go play Camario Taylor when he was still fully healthy at Mississippi State a couple of weeks ago. So one thing they can do at Missouri is they can get pressure with four. So I don't love the match up for Texas A&M from that perspective. Marcel Reed in SEC play, average in 170 past yards per game, one touchdown, three picks. We are halfway through the season or thereabouts. Really good opportunity for Austin Simmons. Austin Simmons is a good quarterback. Now I will give Jesse credit. He was all over Austin Simmons at the beginning of the year. That totally canceled out with those unfortunate Rutgers picks. But he was all over Austin Simmons at the beginning of the year. Now I have watched Austin Simmons play and anyone who's watched him play has to admit you're watching an emerging superstar, right? There were some allegations early on. It may be fool's gold. He's throwing a lot of interceptible balls, but they're not being picked off, but they will. And earlier this week on the locker room, myself, Wilcompton, Taylor LeWon, emphasis on Taylor LeWon kind of had to admit some things about the reality that is the emergence of superstar Austin Simmons. Let's take a listen. We were talking about Austin Simmons in a certain someone. There's no reason to name names. Certain someone said Austin Simmons is a turnover waiting to happen. And all he did was hang like what, half a hundred on Florida. Open heart surgery. Yeah. On that Florida. People all of a sudden just stopped making eye contact with me on set when I started reading that up. I was a little nervous. You were in the fodder a little bit. I was sitting there. I was in the fodder a little bit. I was sitting with Cody a little bit. But I'm but I'm not talking about Cody. I was wrong about I'm talking about I'm just talking about my guy right here me You said he's a turnover waiting to happen and I had listen in the group It's still it's up there. He's still is he did a great job last week. They plan he was a Play annum this way just big upset. I don't know where it comes. Well, I'm not saying that but she's got one You're gonna My I can't see I listen I can't be how we've set on the show and have literally said what our bets We can't be held accountable for our bets of the words that are said then all of a sudden you claim off the Simmons I'm like he's probably shouldn't be that high and your SD quarter by thing and all of a sudden I'm the bad guy Well, how did he last week he looked like he belonged in the top four in that SDC list week to week man I think you guys are basically making me against I'm sitting here going Hey, I was put my head up going. I was wrong and as we put my head up, you're going And that's where you put your head up and say hey, I was wrong. I was wrong about last week. This dude's gonna throw one ball Perfectly thrown tips off a wide receiver's chest into a navy's hands and it's gonna be Different turn I hope I'll miss or wins that game of Austin Simmons is great, but I need him to give me one just one I don't know the interception fumble it. Yeah Fumble I'm like told y'all told y'all drop him sleep on him A lot of fun had every Wednesday on the locker room I know some of you haven't checked that show out. It's a little different vibe than the one here Where's just me talking for an hour and a half, but that's every Wednesday it appears on my channel and the bus and with the boys channel Anyway, and I'm good on defense except explosive passes allowed and this is the green light moment for Austin Simmons They're 91st in the country are the Texas A&M Aggies and explosive passes allowed and Missouri has two elite wide receivers. They They're good at quarterback man. Austin Simmons is good. So Anybody and I don't want to be specific, but anybody who circled him in the preseason They should be proud of themselves Jamal Roberts at running back also forces you to respect that and you can't just you can't just sell out One way or the other. So here's a question It's not database. What kind of pride and performance does Texas A&M have? Because it's it's kind of a fork in the road moment a little bit here They beat Arkansas last week, but so does everybody so you go on the road to Missouri Citadel comes in and then after that you still got Bama South Carolina back to back on the road Tennessee comes in at OU close with Texas it's a tough schedule and Yet technically Jesse they're not out of the playoff conversation It feels like they're a long way from it, but they're technically not out of it pride and performance That's what it takes penalties are an issue for Missouri more so than Texas A&M But just what's the response if A&M gets down early and they got to throw the ball to get back in it Don't love it. Let's take a legal a fandual thing. So Missouri minus three and a half the current number By the way, the model agrees with this number. It's got Missouri minus three. I understand how bad this line smells So I'm not betting it Jesse. You got a little something on this game. Yeah, I'm not betting it I'm going to pick Missouri minus three and a half If this is one of those if I'm wrong, I'm gonna make something different happen Then I've been watching so far to prove me wrong because I'm gonna assume more of the same until otherwise noted So give me Missouri minus three and a half you want to go to that game? You can you want to go to that LSU Kentucky game? Hey, you want to go to Minnesota Purdue? I'm just saying if you want to we can get you a room at Barry's house probably But seat geek can get you in the building we can get you tickets not for free per se But for a heavily discounted rate 10% off so not heavy, but still we got a discount here discount code for you Pay 10 at check out PAT10 put it in a little little promo code box. I was like no, I don't want to do it. You said no I played with players that didn't I don't think that they really truly loved the game. I found the love With the ball at my fight But in my head it was the long game It was like I don't care what I'm being asked to do at Fox I'm gonna go get some reps and I'm gonna learn it and love it and embrace it He said this group of people will never be in the same room as part of the same team ever again in your life And it is your job to make sure that you enjoy the moment. Enjoy the NFL season while listening to NFL cover zero We have storylines predictions and lots of silliness. Here's what you can expect from the podcast in our second season When you meet people and you say your job's a sports announcer It's always interesting to see what the first thing they say is I did have one of the more difficult questions though He sits next to me and he sees I'm On my computer, and he goes big sports fan. I was like, yeah, actually I need goes. We think about my Jaguars this year I realized like no one's ever asked me that question ever about anything and I was like Listen to NFL cover zero on the iHeart Radio app apple podcast or wherever you get your podcasts time for a whale breach That will be out of the edit and then the edit starts now the week six viewers guide It is essential before you turn the television on Friday night and then into Saturday Of course, I do Friday last and I do Saturday first here. Trust me. It makes sense the early Saturday window I know if you're an NC state fan you would have your game on the main screen So I'm speaking generically here. Generically. I don't think there's any question you've got to have Indiana Nebraska on your main screen We'll be there for that game Sunny skies highs in the upper 80s Jesse be ready. I'm mainly talking to me sunscreen got to be ready That's going to be a fun one. I think or it could be 45 to 6 it could be miserable But we're going to bank on it's going to be a fun one. I'll be there You'll be watching that's that's Gus Johnson and Joel clat there. So that's the big noon crew Gonna be a fun day now on your second screen. This to me is where it gets interesting. We got to be strategic Do you go Texas A&M Missouri? I think you could eras Arizona, West Virginia, Mitch, how have Arizona schools fared playing new in eastern 10 o'clock body time kickoff? Not great. Not great. Do you have an official stat for me? No, you do not. Okay. Just thumbs down as the stat. Not great. And then as that's going on, uh, where's the pit game, noon on ESPN, North Carolina goes to pit, pit off that Virginia Tech win with extra rest, by the way, they are starting back up quarterback here, Mason, Haunch, a lot for the year. North Carolina is only like a three and a half point dog in this game. So very, very live dog there for the Tar Heels. So those are some sneaky games and then that 1245 Eastern kick. You got to keep an eye on Florida and South Carolina. That one could be closer than you expect. Then we transitioned into the mid day and that mid day window, you kind of got to decide what you're going to do with your home screen here, your main screen. It could be Red River shoot out, known by no other name on this show. But also you could go over to CBS and you could go UCLA, Oregon. So Red River's on ABC, I think that's Sean McDonough and Mackle Roy. I tell you, Jesse, I showed you the picture last week, press snap to picture. I had never met Sean McDonough in real life, like in person, texted back and forth, but I had never met Sean McDonough in real life. And you have to understand for a child who grew up on Braves baseball and Sean McDonough doing those CBS games back in the day and doing the World Series and the playoffs, it's a big deal. Okay, Sean McDonough is a big deal to people like me. Anyway, he's doing Red River. You could have that on your main screen. I think you could have UCLA, Oregon on your main screen. Of course there's the chance that a big upset happens in Eugene. There's a chance it's a blowout in Dallas or vice versa. There's a chance that both of those could get out of hand. There's a chance that both the point spreads could go up and smoke and they're both four quarter games. Anyway, I'm saying that because depending on the watchability of those games, then you start looking elsewhere and you start looking, oh, I don't know, in Nashville, 330 on ESPN, Ole Miss Vanderbilt, that's probably going to be a rainy game. So we'll see if Ole Miss can get some margin on Vanderbilt and I have no idea why you would subject yourself to what Ohio State is going to do to Maryland, illegal in so many states. Luckily they're playing it in Ohio. That's going to be brutal. Tennessee is going to Arkansas. I think you got to just check in on that one to make sure it's going the way you think it's going to go. But I think that 330 game on Fox is going to be awesome. Houston, Kansas State, that's a game at two and a half. I think K State minus two and a half. It's going to be very, very interesting to watch the coaching match up there. It's going to be very interesting to watch the quarterback match up there because every Johnson home fielded his back, Connor Weggman coming in, Houston's a good team, K State's a good team. So that one could end up being the sneaky game of the afternoon window and then in the prime time window, okay, obviously this is Georgia Alabama on your main screen. We have spoken at length about that game. We did a full, what was it, Bradley, like 15 plus minute preview on it Tuesday night. So that's on the channel already. If you were to go elsewhere, like if you've got multiple screens, the white out, USC Penn State is on. Do it for Jesse if you don't do it for anyone else. We've already established Penn State's going to win the game. But we have to find out how they're going to win the game because I made the pick Jesse and frankly, I have no idea how they're going to win the game, but they're going to. I've already seen the preview. So they're going to win the game, but how? Plus four turnovers, plus five turn. No one knows. No one knows. We got to sell the thing out though. We got to have the true white out experience. Also LSUs at Kentucky. That's a good one. J.M.U. has to go to Statesboro. Excuse me. They get to go to Statesboro. Georgia Southern has to play J.M.U. That's the exact language that Pres wanted me to use. Pres, you ever been to Statesboro? Nope. Has Billy Napier ever been to Statesboro? Probably also. No, I don't know. J.M.U. minus seven and a half. So that one's worth checking out on ESPNU. The late window disappoints me this week, to be honest. The late window does send Boise to Fresno State, and Boise's favorite by six and a half. That's our CW special this week. Kansas is at Utah. That's a 10-15 Eastern time kick on ESPN. I don't know what to expect there. There have been some pretty, pretty juicy 10 o'clock Eastern window games lately. And I'm just kind of let down by this week. Now I don't want to skip past Friday. So like, but lastly, before I wrap this up, three minimum, three good games here, ESPNU, Friday at seven. That's FSU at Louisville. FSU, just low-key body-bagged Virginia. So Mike Norvel, like he put his finger, he put his thumb to the neck of that team and he said, "We got a pulse. We got a pulse here." Florida State. Still alive. Louisville. See, the nine o'clock game on Fox, Jesse, why are they playing it? Not 'cause it's at Washington. I get it now. Well, I was at Washington. That's the Fox game. Is that the 10-Brando game? I think so. That's a long way for Timmy to travel. Still living in Louisiana, I think half time of that game is when we'll do Friday night lines. Yeah. Yeah. I think this one will do it. I'm just thinking through live on air here. We had to do Friday night lines outside the stadium last week. In fact, I don't think I've told this story, right, Pres? We were in Blacksburg. We never go to Friday games. So we were at a Friday game and then Pres says, "Hey, do you make up your mind where you're gonna do Friday night lines?" And I said, "Oh, that's right. We got to do Friday night lines." So I fired the tweet off, "Hey, we're doing this thing in like 30 minutes. We walk up the tunnel, the famous Virginia Tech tunnel. We walk the weight room and everything's almost attached to the stadium." So there's this wide open practice field area, a little patio area. So I set up my laptop to do Friday night lines. James Franklin walks by. I didn't see him because I was looking at my screen. And he comes up behind me to just say, "Hey, and there's a picture of Pres having to point." Pres is sitting there filming me and he's pointing past me and James Franklin is just standing behind me. I got the picture on my phone. Just pause. Please pause while I look it up. It was great. There it is right here. I'll just zoom. That's Pres is figuring James Franklin. So anyway, we will not have a repeat of that because we'll be up in Nebraska and I'll be in a hotel room somewhere, but we'll do Friday night lines at halftime of the Iowa Washington game. There you go, ladies and gentlemen, your week six viewers guide. So Bama Georgia this weekend, every point pays. What do I mean by that? Well, Fandall predicts. Well, I'll give you a good idea on this Georgia Bama game this Saturday. You trade $25 on that game and you get $1 in bonus for every point scored. Now if it's 13 to 9, that doesn't excite you all that much, but the last time they played this game in Tuscaloosa, there were 75 combined point scored. So if that happened again, day after tomorrow, that's $75 in bonus for you. Touchdown, $6, extra point, $1, feel goal, $3, safety, $2 in bonus, Jesse, more points, more bonus. That's the drill here. With that in mind, to wrap the show here, Ramanoodle Express time, we're already on three games as you see, Penn State plus one and a half, check, Buffalo plus 19 and a half, check UNLV plus three and a half. Check, check, check. Not sure why. It doesn't mean any more or less, but that's not what you're interested in. What you're interested in is the game we're about to add. As you know, or I think you do, we've been on a roll with our SEC totals. So we're going to add one here because I think it has been lowered because of weather. And I don't think weather is going to be nearly as big an issue here as the public has been led to believe. Georgia, Alabama, over 51 and a half. I think that number should be like 54. I think that total will tick up before game time, once people realize, oh snap, it's not raining anymore. Oh wow, it's not even all that windy anymore. We will be on the sideline for that game. We'll be on the sideline for Nebraska hosting Indiana earlier in the day and we'll document it all. Press will at least cause it'll be following me around. It's really the place to be when we're on the road at Josh Payt CFB. There's a lot of really fun stuff we never show it on the show. And that's where you can find it. So we'll be back here to talk about it all Sunday. Until then, for Director Bradley, producer Jesse, I'm Josh Payt. Take care. Enjoy your weekend. Enjoy the games and God bless. FAQs

Jesse rates the South Carolina vs. Florida game a 6 on his upset alert meter. While South Carolina has struggled against SEC teams, Florida's run defense and pass defense are notable factors. The game could be competitive, but South Carolina's recent performance makes a major upset unlikely.

NC State has shown improvement after early losses, including beating Louisville and App State. Wake Forest's weak pass defense and a strong performance from Jake Dickard make this a potential upset, especially given the team's recent turnaround.

Jesse rates this game a 4.5 due to Vanderbilt's strong running game and Ole Miss's weak run defense. While Ole Miss has a must-win situation, the game could be physical and rainy, making it a close and unpredictable matchup.

Jesse sees potential for Oregon to rebound after a strong performance against USC, especially with Dylan Raiola starting. UCLA's run defense is solid, but Oregon's defense has struggled recently, creating a possible upset scenario.

Missouri beat Florida in a dominant game, which gives them a stronger resume in a merit-based ranking system. Despite Florida being favored on a neutral field, Missouri's win is a key factor in their higher ranking.

LSU has a strong run defense and a history of turning close games into wins. Kentucky's third-down conversion struggles and lack of defensive pressure make them vulnerable, especially in a high-stakes road game.
