Week 6 Start/Sit Debates: RB & WR Decisions That Could Decide Your Matchups (Ep. 2267)
59m 44s
The podcast discusses key fantasy football start/sit decisions for Week 6, focusing on matchups, player health, and offensive line dynamics. Jeremy Bernard is highlighted as a solid WR3 due to Pittsburgh’s receiver injuries and the Buccaneers’ poor pass rush, despite being ranked outside the top 30. Kendra Miller and Damien Pierce face skepticism due to inconsistent team offenses and weak run game production. Woody Marks is preferred over Marshawn Lloyd for the Texans’ game against the Jaguars, where volume and better metrics outweigh touchdown potential. Jalen Coker edges out Luther Burton against the Eagles, who have been vulnerable to slot receivers. Josh Downs is favored over Mecca Agbuca for the Titans, based on better route efficiency and game performance. In the flex, Matthew Golden is selected over Jeremiah Love due to greater consistency and fewer injury red flags. Denzel Boston is chosen over Isaiah Wynn against the Giants, especially with Casey Conner out and increased target volume. The analysis emphasizes matchup-specific decisions, injury awareness, and value over hype, with a consistent focus on volume, matchup advantages, and team dynamics. The discussion underscores the importance of relying on data and situational context rather than rankings alone in fantasy football.

Hello everybody, welcome into the Fantasy Pros football podcast, I'm Ryan Wormley, joined on this Thursday morning by Pat Fitzmorris, and Jake Seely from The Athletic. We are bringing you our week six starts and sits show as we do every Thursday. Fitz, how are you doing this morning? Hey man, the brewers are up three-zero. It's feeling like that, Jake would appreciate it. The Baroque Lesnar confronting Hulk Hogan. It's our time, old man, my time. Yeah, just, I know man, this team is special. I'm pretty excited about that, but hey, we have a week of football too. That's also exciting. Yeah, Jake, that wrestling analogy is definitely lost on me. I'm excited for Fitz about the brewers. Does that analogy make sense to you? It does, and also like really, honestly, you could also take another undertaker in the straight beam, another Brock Lesnar one for you there, so it's nice to see, I think everybody that's not in LA is pretty much blank the Dodgers, so I think this is basically happiness across the country, except for one specific part of it. I have always had a saucepot for the brewers, not the Dodgers. For the brewers anyway, so them going up against the hated Dodgers just makes it all the easier to be rooting for them, so happy for your Fitz, hopefully they can finish it off. I don't even hate the Dodgers, I mean, I totally hat-tipped to them, but yeah, obviously, no one likes the team with the giant payroll. Yeah, I don't know if I want to be on your side, if you're going to sit here and say I don't hate the Dodgers, that's a tough one as well. Let's get to the football here, a reminder for everybody all of our weekly consensus rankings and tiers can be found at fantasyproze.com/rankings. We'll start as you always do with some of the most popular waiver ads of the week and ask if you guys are willing to start them this week. Not as many super obvious names I felt like that, you know, you would want to come on and sort of pound the table for starting this week. We'll see what you guys think and compare it to the consensus rankings. Fitz, I'll start with you with a wide receiver here, Jeremy Bernard of the Steelers. Are you interested in starting him this week with all the injuries in that receiver room in Pittsburgh? I am, especially not a 14 by week, with Michael Pittman on injured reserve with his foot injury, Roman Ells Wilson out with a finger injury, Ben Skeronik out with a calf injury, DK Metcalf, Jeremy Bernard, and I think Brandon Smith are the only healthy receivers the Steelers haven't Smith just got called up from the practice squad. Notorious rookie hater Aaron Rodgers has reportedly been really impressed with how firm a grasp Bernard has on the Steelers offense and the Steelers are up against the past funnel Buccaneers defense teams are throwing on the Buccaneers about 61% of the time. That's the seventh highest rate in the league. I think Bernard as a solid outlook, I'm just, I'm not quite ready to put him in the top 25 or even 30 at receiver because, you know, tight ends, Pat Fryer-Muth are now washing and could be prominently involved. The Steelers play a lot of 12 personnel. You think they're probably going to lean into that with all the receivers hurt and Jalen Warren is going to see a bunch of targets. So I'm not sure Bernard goes out and has a 12 target game, but I think he's a wide receiver 3 flex play for sure in a 14 by week. He's just outside the top 30s at why does he have a 32 in a consensus rankings right now. Is that close to where you have him fit so you said you can't quite get to 30 so is that similar range for you? I think I'm a little behind on that. Yeah, it's just, it's mainly that I've probably got some guys injured guys in my rankings that other people don't have. So I think I've got Bernard at like 35. Jake, where are you ranking Bernard this week? He's just right by the top 30. I'm a little bit more happy to be on Jeremy Bernard than Fitzs and he'll actually be pushing the top 25 once, assuming we have no rush. He writes no DJ more, no A.J. Brown, no Devon to Smith because all four of them are my ranks right now. It sounds like A.J. Brown might be the most likely of those four, but that being said, if I took out all four, we're now pushing like 26 ish, mostly because it's like the Aaron Rogers. Yeah, the rookie hater, whatever, but this is now two weeks in a row. He's been comfortable going to him, including last week, the Roman Wilson dislocated his finger and he led the team with 30% of the team targets. And he's just comfortable because he's doing like, if you took the Rogers, what like he hates rookies and Rogers being Rogers, whatever, take the Mike McCarthy offense. And this was the real appeal that I went to this season as like why Bernard might be a sleeper is because three wide for one, but also the type of wide receivers that have usually benefited from the McCarthy offense or more of the Bernard type than the DK Metcalf types. Not that DK can't do things, but you've seen it, like DK's struggled to have any consistency this year. So I think Bernard is, I would not be shocked. Like let's say we never get Roman Wilson back, which I know he will be, but like we never get Michael Pittman back. Like if he was the number two, if he told me today, Jeremy Bernard is the number two for the rest of the season, I mean, there's a 50 50 chance he had more fancy value than DK Metcalf for the rest of the year. And that's why I'm in on him. Do you agree with that sentiment fits? Yeah, I could see that. Although I do think there has been a sort of, I don't know, everyone seems eager to fade DK Metcalf. And I think sometimes we forget that he's actually pretty good in a specific sort of way. He's pretty good. But everyone was ready to write him off and that came against Cleveland because he was going to get locked up by Denzel Ward while they Mike McCarthy of the good sense to motion him into the slot a couple of times. And he got some favorable matchups wound up going over a hundred yards. So yeah, I mean, there, I would say there would be a chance that Bernard could do that. We'll see. I mean, there's a lot to, I think Bernard was a pretty pro ready prospect at Alabama. Like there were a lot of testimonies to his character at Alabama and what a team leader he was just seems like he's got his act together and you kind of need to play for Aaron Rodgers as a rookie. But you know, we were joking in a show yesterday like Jeremy Bernard could run around and be five blades of grass away from where he's supposed to be this week and all of a sudden Aaron Rodgers ignores him for two and a half quarters. So we'll see. I'm excited to see what he does this week and an expanded opportunity. A couple of running backs here to talk about, uh, Jeremy Bernard is Y2C for 32 this week. Running back 32 this week in consensus is Kendra Miller, who was another popular pick up here. Jake, I'll start with you on this one. Are you interested in starting Kendra Miller against the giants this week? Yeah. Fitz knows where we're going with this. Nope. Uh, we talked about him on the waiver column or waiver show. And really it just comes down to, if you told me that the Saints were in contention this entire game or ever potentially leading, then yes, I would be. But this is what I went back to when we talked about on the waiver show Kendra Miller through the first three quarters actually mostly the first two quarters. Good amount of work. You got the touchdown wasn't super effective running the ball, but he got the touchdown. But CJ Daweson was involved the entire time and then the fourth quarter, the only running back in the fourth quarter to get snaps. Not just touches. Snaps was Alvin Camaro once they were down. So that's really what it comes down to is if you could actually 100% predict the game of script, you could tell me Kendra Miller or Alvin Camaro. I have them very close together in the mid 30s and that's only because there are four teams on the buy and the injuries we're dealing with. Otherwise, I'd want to give him a lower, but I haven't in the range of like Brian. I'd play Brian Robinson against the Bears versus trying to risk either one of those because I know I have the chance that that offense continues to produce, especially against the Bears and he get a touchdown for Brian Robinson versus trying to figure out if it's going to be Miller Camaro, that being said, like, you know, it was kind of tongue and cheekish. If you're in the 30s and you're desperate, he's still in the 30s, it's not in the 40s where like people in the 40s, I'm not starting. Kendra Miller in consensus is actually only one spot ahead of Brian Robinson to give context for the viewers. There we go. He's our B 30 bucket. Let me see. Yeah. Fitz, what do you think about Miller? Were you ranking him? Yeah. I'm going to I'm going to agree with Jake and put him right behind Brian Robinson at I had him ahead of Brian Robinson. Jake has talked me into moving him below. So RB 31. And it's just the same soft offensive line is in kind of a bad way without Kelvin Banks like they've just been not very good the last couple of weeks. It seems to really just just generally cannot get anything going in the running game no matter who they put back there. And Kendra Miller doesn't add much as a pass catcher. And the giants used to be sort of a come one, come all match up for running backs last year. Not really anymore. They're in the vicinity of average. So I'm not that interested in starting Kendra. One more waiver ad here. Actually ranked a couple of spots higher than Kendra Miller is Damian Pierce fits next man up for the Eagles. Are you interested in there or before here this week against the Panthers? Even less interested in starting Pierce than I am in Kendra Miller. I mean, the one mighty Philadelphia offensive line ranks 30th in adjusted line yards, the run blocking metric. They're starting two rookies on the offensive line. Pierce had a pretty good year for the Texans of the rookie in 2022. But since 2023, he's averaged 3.6 yards per carry and now he's pretty much achieved journeyman status bouncing around to different teams as a hired gun. I just, I don't think it's going to be pretty for the Eagles running game this week. I think you're
hoping for 50 yards and maybe a touchdown. And I think your odds of getting either a pretty remote. - Jake, what do you think? - Not too dissimilar, but I am in the 20s at least because he's getting the vast majority of the work. It's really what it's like, not 20, like he's middle of 20s. It's just, I'd start him over both saints guys. I start him over all of the chargers. And it's not a testament to be like, oh my gosh, Damien Pierce is so good and the Panthers run to even, so so bad because the Panthers are about middle of the pack, if you talk about matchups. But, you know, versus split back fields and questionable situations and all that type of stuff. That's the only reason why is because, as Fitz said, like this is the lesser version of Braylon Allen. We expect 80 plus percent of the touches, but it's not going to be as efficient, but that 80 percent, like what do you mark last year? What do you mark for the Texans last year? I think it's the better comparison because he got 18 touches a game and he was still barely hanging on to RB2 value. And I think that's what we're hoping for with Damien Pierce. Do we think the Eagles are going to activate Jaden Blue from their practice squad? - I don't care if they do, in my opinion. Like I just don't, I'm not thinking. - You think it's going to be like vast majority of touches for Pierce either way? Like I do. Get a car and steal surprise or-- - No, like, I mean, shocked, you know, like, no, I would be shocked if either one of them. But I mean, this is, they've had opportunities before and like I think that Jaden Blue thing is just, we need to stop not you, but like stop from the preview, the Cowboys and everything is Jaden Blue and Jaden Blue. Like, he's had so many opportunities to be activated and get touches and nobody wants to give it to him. Like that's kind of telling. - Right, I agree. I mean, if the Eagles are this down to the felt at running back and are not willing to activate Jaden Blue, that's probably not a good indicator. - Test them for the current future success. - Yeah. All right, let's get to our Plant Your Flag, guys. You guys each have a player that you have a lot of conviction in and are really wanting to plant your flag on for weeks, six relative to their ranking. Jake, I'll start with you, who's your plant or flag guy? - I want to make this caveat that I do know Caleb Williams is coming back, question mark, because if so, like, I know a lot of people are going to be like, "Yeah, Luther Burton and maybe we can get Colston Lovelin "back to being relevant." But I'm actually going to Roma Dunes A. And it really comes down to the Atlanta defense has been pretty good this year, but the one area that you really take advantage of is outside Wiver series for big plays, especially. That's something that they've given up a lot, including just last week. So if you're looking for who's going to take the advantage here, yeah, it could still be Burton, but this is a Dunes A type game where we're attacking the matchup specifically. So I think Caleb Williams being back, I think people should be on board with all three of them, but I think more on board than people mostly are with a Dunes A. and I know you're about to ask the question. So I'm going to go look where do I have a Dunes A rank compared to everybody else. I got to go find him because where is a Dunes A? Here's just control of him. He is, what is he doing in consensus? He is 26 and actually I'm actually pretty close in consensus. I guess a lot of people are on a Dunes A this week, so good job. There you go. It's okay, you don't have to be that far ahead for to be a viable choice here in the player flag section, but yes, he's a Y to C for 26. I was expecting him to be that high in the ranks. I'm actually surprised. Where are you ranking him fits? 23. There you go. He's got your beat. Yeah, I mean, he's not having a good season though so far. Like, I don't think there's any contention that he has played well to this point, but I am hoping the return of Caleb can get him going. Like, I do think he's a good player overall. It's just, I feel like he's got a case of the yips right now, but I don't know. We'll see. I hope for the bear's sake, they get Caleb back this week. Yeah, seems like he practiced in full on Wednesday, right? So it seems like that would be trending in that direction. Is that I think that's what I saw earlier when I was looking or an average estimated full practice, something like that. Ben Johnson likes to play games in quarterbacks. So fair, very fair. Fits here, are you planting your flag on? Yeah, Travis Kelsey. The my time is now old man, Jeff. Like, no, the old man's time is now. It's he's at a by-week to rest those old bones. And now he gets a charger's defense. It's probably going to be without safety derwin, James. And the chief's probably aren't going to ever see Rice, who wasn't practicing on Wednesday with his hamstring issue. When you come off a by-and-art practicing on Wednesday, you're probably not playing. So only six targets for Kelsey over the chief's last two games. I think he sees at least eight targets this week against the chargers and as a good day. Where is he ranked for you, Jake? Kelsey is consistently been inside the top 10 since he's been. He's at eight. I'm actually one behind his senses. He's also only because I've Dallas Goddard in front of him. Yeah, tight and tight and seven in consensus. Fitz, do you feel like when you're ranking your tight ends week to week, like is Kelsey just somebody who's an auto like in that back half of the top 10 spot for you or are you trying to pay close attention to the matchups and you know, what everybody else in the health of the guys in the receiver room and everything. Or is he kind of solidified just right there week to week for you? Yeah, more of a mid-range wide receiver one for me. So more like consistently six, seven. Yeah, yeah, there's like I said, he's seven this week. So so right in that range for you here. We'll start as always with our running backs. Couple of names for you here. J. Cory Krosky-Marit, who we do end up talking about a lot. He's just often kind of ranked in this range of you gotta make that type of decision. Or Tony Pollard. So Bill Krosky-Marit, or Tony Pollard, fits who do you prefer this week? - Pollard. Since week two, Pollard has averaged 17 touches a game. And he is up against the Colts defense that ranks 31st in DVOA against the run, and 32nd in EPA per play against the run. Pollard's only had six catches this season, but maybe he can do some damage as a receiver. The Colts have given up more receiving arts to running backs than any other defense. I don't think Bill is a terrible start. I'm a little nervous about his usage. He did have a season high 82 rushing yards against the Giants last week, but only at 11 carries, and he had a season of life.
low 35.5% snap share. Richard White was back last week after missing a game with a shoulder injury and Austin Echler was in the mix too. I just worry this is turning into a committee. You said it pretty quickly fits. Do you have a wide gap in between these guys or is it closer and you just happen to know that you like Pollard more? There are only two spots apart in ECR. Pollard running back 20 crosskey merit running back 23. Okay. So just a slightly larger gap than it is in ECR. There are 22 and 24 in ECR. So they're actually a little behind your ranking in both of those guys' regards. Jake, how are you seeing this one? Do you have a wide gap between these two or do you see it as close as well? I actually have one at 24 but the others at 27 and I'm going for Pollard over crosskey merit and I know people are going to immediately, but stick with me, push back on this. If you take out the two rushing touchdowns for crosskey merit, 6.5, 5.5, 6.8 points. And I know people are like, well, the touchdowns matter. Well, the touchdowns also matter for facing the 49ers. They've given up two touchdowns this year, one to Karen Williams and one to Emmanuel Wilson. And both of them took, it was, I think, 11 for 40 for Karen and 20 for 60 for Emmanuel Wilson. So like, do you really think crosskey merit is getting into the in zone against the 49ers? I don't have been talking about this as a full-blown committee for weeks. He had 11 carries against the Giants. And let's be honest about that. You don't run, run, run on the Giants all the time. But those were two of the most worst over pursued rushes I've seen in my life. Like that, that was just so bad by the Giants pursuing them. And they did it the entire game, even going after Jane and Daniels. So maybe the Giants are going to start being better to face against the run and start to attack them. So I say all I have to say is like, again, I'm not trying to take it away. It just comes down to the volume for Pollard should be a little bit higher. He gets the colds versus getting the 49ers. And that's really what it comes down to. So I have a three-spot gap, but I'm behind on both of them. Yeah. I kind of think the Niners might absolutely stop the commanders in this game. And if that happens, it feels like it certainly wouldn't be setting up well for crosskey merit to get into the end zone. Fits. Do you see that game playing out similarly? Yeah. Man, I'm trying to, I might have taken the commanders and the points in a point spread pick against the spread pool. I'm in, but I didn't feel great about it. Yeah. I think I'd prefer honestly to lay the points with the Niners. I'd be going against you there. I just think like, you know, Fred Warner against Jane Daniels and just how the Niners have looked so far. And like the commanders coming off of the game they had, like I think this could be Dan Quinn's last game coaching for Washington. It feels set up for that. So yeah, none of that would seem to really boat well for Jacori Croskey Marry, which is why I'd probably impollert here. Let's go to another running back debate. I didn't include Woody Marks in the waiver pick up section because I felt like he was a little too rostered for that. And also I knew I wanted to include him in one of the larger debates here because he has this opportunity to be the starter for the Texans. But it's very similar to Will Shipley, not in terms of them being some more players, but in terms of, hey, you get to be the starter because the guy in front of you went down. Now you get to go fly across the pond and go face this really good Jags run defense just one week later. So Woody Marks or Marshawn Lloyd coming off of a good game for the Packers gets the Cowboys on Sunday night football this week. Jake, I'll start with you here. Woody Marks or Marshawn Lloyd this week. Yeah, I have this one close before what I'm about to say, but like I think that's a very generous, good game that you just threw on to Marshawn Lloyd because it was 10 for 31 with two touchdowns. Like let's be out against him. Yeah, not good. And again, getting possibly a similar defense. It is the Cowboys. So like everybody you just run at Warp Pass or do whatever the hell you want on the Cowboys. But something I brought up before with the Shipley thing was I was talking about the Jaguars. And I said, since week one of last year, nobody's run for more than 74 yards. And it was 74 and 70 yards. Both times being Jonathan Taylor on 21 carries the next closest being 63. Guess who the next closest was? It was Woody Marks last year who got that 63. I'm not saying, oh my gosh, Woody Marks smash him against the Jaguars. He also got into the end zone on that one. But he's 14 for 63 with a touchdown on the ground. Is that super exciting? No, especially if he doesn't get the touchdown, because that's the kind of the argument against Cory Croskey merit. But I just I'm not ready to buy into Lloyd in that backfield. I know Marks is going to get the vast majority of touches. Will it be Lloyd? Will it be pure strong also in getting involved? Will it be Caleb Johnson getting another shot? And again, it was only 10 and 11 Kero's 11. Did I say it was 10 or 11? Whatever it was for 10 for 31 last week for Marshall and Lloyd. So yeah, he can get the touchdown. But I'll say it this way. And maybe this is where Fizz is thinking too. I don't know if I'm shooting for ceiling. It's Lloyd. If I just want to take the points, it would be Marks. Yeah. You know, fits to that point from Jake. It really was driven by the two touchdowns him having a good game this week. Maybe an opportunity to do that against the Cowboys defense. Who do you prefer Marks or Lloyd? Well, since Jake is assuring us that Woody Marks owns the Jaguars. I'm going to have to go with Woody Marks here. No, it like it's a tough matchup. The Jaguars are number one in DVO against the run. They're giving up 42 rushing yards per game to running backs and 2.5 yards per carry to running backs this season. But Marks at least has that backfield pretty much to himself. I mean, maybe Dario Gumbawale gets a couple of targets or they bring up Jawar Jordan from the practice squad. But Marks should have like 80 to 90 percent of the backfield touches for the Texans. And Marshall loads in a committee. He shared work with Pierre Strong last week Caleb Johnson. He's third string now, but he's in the mix too. I know Lloyd had those two TDs, but you know, 2.8 yards per carry this season behind a bad offensive line. I would much rather lean into the volume than shamelessly chase those two touchdowns. Where are those two guys ranked for you, Fitz? They're 21 or seem they're 20 and 21 in ECR. So they're actually right behind them. A 22 is Tony Pollard from the previous debate. So is that about the right range for you or are you a little lower? Yeah, it is about the right range. I mean, I've got Woody Marks, 21 and Marshall and Lloyd 23. Okay. What about you, Jake? Where are those you guys ranked? 20 and 22 with 20 marks being a 20. 20, 22. Okay. Yes. So right now, right? I mean, it does get kind of tricky at running back after the top 18 or so. Like there's got a five names to put somewhere. Marshall Lloyd being an RB two ranges just comfortably RB two. I mean, he's closer to a mid RB two than a late RB two and consensus. That just shows you the state of the running back position here in week six. Very much. So yeah, it's, yeah, it's it's because I hear those names. And I think, oh, yeah, those are guys that I would consider like in the flex and instead they're being like, you know, consensitously ranked as oh, no, like pretty close, like a no doubt starter for those two. But I think given that obviously where you would have drafted these guys, I bet there are teams out there who do have to make that decision, which is why I want to include them. And again, I thought Marks was somebody that was important. We talked about given the opportunity. Do you guys like Marks generally speaking going forward to be pretty good in this starting role? I mean, obviously it's a tough match up this week, Jake. Are you interested in Marks generally in the short term as long as David Montgomery is out or are you a little nervous, just kind of generally going forward? So yes, next week, yes to mostly because if you just looked at this team so far and didn't know who marks in Montgomery are, you'd be like Marx is the better running back. But that's almost by default because of how bad David Montgomery's been. So it's not like, oh my god, Marx is such an amazing running back. He actually looks better than he does last year. And the metrics all back up. The fact that he looks better and is playing better than he did last year, including rushes for 10 plus yards, more explosive plays, more yards per touch, all that type of stuff. And again, it's not world where it's like he's ranked inside the top 15 or top 20 or anything. It's just he looks a little bit better than last year, which makes it a big gap over what do Montgomery's been doing. So I definitely like him next week because it sounds like Montgomery should be out through their week 8 by. But when Montgomery comes back, if it is week 9, I wouldn't be surprised if this is back to like a 55, 45 and maybe we get Montgomery on the back half of it. But if people are needy for running backs, like I have when he marks on a few teams because I just kept holding on to him, I take advantage and potentially sell high, especially if he comes out of this game and actually has a good game against everybody knows you don't run on the Jaguars, I would be floating them in every possible trade I can think of. What do you think fits short term outlook for Woody Marx? Agree with Jake. I'm glad he said that Woody Marx looks better, even though I think last year he averaged 3.6 yards per carry this year, 3.5. But the eye test, he is definitely better. And I think the Texans offense is healthier. I shouldn't say healthier. That's not the right word. Better than it was last year. The offensive line has has improved still not I'm still not sure it's even an average offensive line, but it's better than horrendous, which is what it was last year. And CJ Stroud is playing some pretty good ball. So I don't feel terrible about Marx. I think he's going to be like a flex play going forward, maybe even after Monty gets back. Let's go to the receivers here. Jalen Coker coming off by and he missed the game before with the injury seems like obviously he'll be back this week, or Luther Burton with Caleb Williams likely returning at quarterback for the Bears. It seems like fifth starting with you on this one. Luther Burton or Jalen Coker this week. Yeah, Coker. He is going against in Eagles defense that has been getting crushed by slot receivers. The Eagles have just kind of been a slot funnel defense slot corner, Cooper Gisine is having a sort of an uncharacteristically bad season. And according to fantasy points data, 63% of the fantasy points scored by receivers against the Philadelphia defense have been scored by slot guys so far this season. So I don't HATE THE OUTLOOK FOR BIRTH.
burden either. I get seems like Caleb Williams is going to be back this week, but burden hasn't had more than 63 yards in a game this season. He's got one touchdown. He is kind of the one guy who's been used somewhat consistently in that passing game. I just think Koker is the better outlook and has been having the better season. These guys are both inside the top 20 fits there. Why does he were 18 and why does he were 19 respectively in consensus? So back to back. Right. It's pretty highly here too. Some of a question that asked before. Is that about the right range for you? I have got Koker 19 and burden 20. So yes. Okay. Yes. So just once about behind on each of them. Jake, what do you think about this one? burden or Koker? Yeah. Everybody's watching. I was smiling as soon as Fitz said that I was surprised. I thought we might be different on this one. I am Koker over burden, but it's super close. Here's the interesting thing is that in these games, and I say this because Flip, these both have played their opponent so far. So burden has 7 for 61 for a touchdown against the Bears or not against the Bears against the Falcons or against the Eagles. Sorry. Guess the Eagles burden. I'm like trying to like do it like they flip each other. But yes, against the Eagles, 7 for 61 in a touchdown, 8 for 66 on the flip side against Atlanta on that. But that's where I was bringing up the fact that if you look at the bigger numbers against Atlanta, it's the outside wide receivers, which is why I was going to adoons a earlier. And this is why I agree with Fitz here is because the Koker going against a slot in the Eagles is where you really want to attack and has been super vulnerable and even more so lately. So I am with Fitz 100% on this one. It is super close, like I said, but it just comes down to like looking at these little things on the matchups and they both produce in their opposite situations because that's how the matchups play out. I want to ask sort of a similar question that I just asked with Woody Marks about sort of a long-term view here as well. Jake Luther burden where you kind of add on him. Obviously, there was so much hype in the preseason and then hasn't really panned out. His quarterback has been healthy. The usage is not terrible. Just the production hasn't been there kind of moving forward. What range do you expect to be ranking Luther burden most weeks? Most weeks probably top 20. I do think like so. They get the Patriots next week, which might be concerning, depending on the health of Gonzalez and the rest, just because it's trickled down from Gonzalez. I don't think he'd spend the entire game on them, but then they head to Seattle. But it's the after that Tampa Bay Saints, Lions, Jaguars, not great dolphins, Packers, Lions to finish out the year. I want pieces. I'm hoping this is finally starting to click. And the biggest thing is that that offensive lines start to look better over their past two games for the Bears is that it's all starting finally to come to fruition that we thought it could for Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams, which is just this is why I want to do is I too. I want pieces of this offense for the rest of the season. If you can just get through Seattle and basically like get up to Tampa Bay in their by-week. It's the same question. Yeah, I agree with Jake on that. Like probably right around 20th. The Bears. I know everyone regards this offense as a huge disappointment so far, but Caleb Williams has played two games. One was in a monsoon. And in the other, the Bears scored 59 points. It's just way too early to want to dump on Bernadouin, say, Lovelins. I think the offense is going to be fine. I think we saw last week the Bears defense wasn't for real after a lot of people, you know, suddenly thought they were the maybe good reincarnation of the 85 bears here in Chicago. But I do think the offense is still very good. And we'll start to show that. Another receiver debate here, Mecca, Agbuca or Josh Downs. This is another one where they're very close in the consensus rankings. When I put together the sheet, they actually were back-to-back that has changed a little. Downs has moved up slightly. A book has moved down slightly. So now there's a little bit more of a gap. But as of yesterday, these guys were back-to-back in the consensus rankings. Jake, who do you prefer between Josh Downs and Mecca, Agbuca? Yeah, that's funny because I have a 10-spot gap from Downs to Agbuca. Guess what, Jalen Daniels goes from playing the Cowboys to the Steelers. I like, it's not like the Steelers. Oh, my God. Like it's the 2000, 2001 Steelers where you don't start anybody in the world against them. But at the same time, it's still the Steelers going from the Cowboys. And Jalen Daniels was, okay, ish. And he's like, there's some flashes, but it's still against the Cowboys. And it wasn't like, oh my God, he's like breaking the world. They're looking so amazing out there. So I just comes down to Josh Downs going against the Col- or the Colts, the Titans, which I know the Titans defense is still pretty good, especially under solid and everything. But I'm still going to take Downs by a decent gap. Like I have names in between like Wix and Dobbs. And well, right now I'm a cocky, but I even have Bernard in front of the Bukka this week. Okay. Yeah. Bernard is a few spots behind him in consensus. That's an interesting one. What do you think fits? Do you also see a pretty wide gap here? Was this a bad question for me to throw out to you guys because it's too obvious? No, I think it was a good one. I wasn't saying that. No, no, no, no, you were saying it. It's not as big a gap as Jake has, but apparently this is going to be a boring show because I'm just in lockstep with my buddy Jake Seely on everything today. Yeah, I prefer Downs. And I know he hasn't done much the last couple of weeks, three for 16 against the commanders in week four, three for 47 against the Steelers in week five. But he did have 12 catches for 149 yards in weeks, two and three. And some of the peripherals are pretty encouraging for Downs. He's had an 85.3% route participation rate, 29.4% ariard share, averaged up the target, 1.1 yards, which is well above his career norms. So I think Downs is going to get on track soon. Maybe this week against the Titans, we're giving up 17.4 PPR points per game, the slot receivers. Abuka worked out for anyone who started him in a PPR league last week because he had six catches and scored on a touchdown run. But the six catches produce 38 yards. And in Jalen Daniels, two starts Abuka's 51 receiving yards and is averaging 6.4 yards per catch and 3.9 yards per target. So yeah. And that, as Jake said, one was against the Cowboys as easy a matchup as it gets. And the Steelers are not an easy matchup. We don't typically talk about players on Thursday night because of when this show comes out. But if Jalen Waddle wasn't playing on Thursday night, you can call your shot for anybody who hears this after that games happened. Where would he fit in because he's ranked between these two guys in consensus, Jake. I have one spot behind downs. So technically, he's in between them. But he is way, he's a way ahead of Abuka, honestly. That's exactly what it is in consensus is that he is technically between them. But he is just one spot behind. He's in consensus as well. Yeah. He is one of the two receivers I have in between. Yeah. Downs in the players. Okay. Yes. Take the guesswork out of your start, sit decisions with the fantasy pro start citizen instantly. All right, guys. We'll do more of our rapid fire start sit decisions here. Another running back one for you. Keaton Mitchell or the aforementioned Damien Pierce. What are these two guys line up against each other? Fits starting with you. Yeah. Gross. I have Pierce ranked higher. Just give me the higher projected workload. This third running back one that we do every week. I feel like it's always pretty gross again, sort of the nature of the position, getting further down the rankings. You've got to find somebody. It doesn't get that exciting when you get further down in the rankings. It's gross. But it's a very sort of realistic lineup decision that probably a lot of people are going to be looking at this week in a 14 by week. Totally. There's these guys. There are only a couple of spots apart in consensus. There are names that you easily could have both of them on your roster. So yeah, it is probably a decision. There is somebody out there who needs to make that call. Fits is going with Damien Pierce. Jake, what are you doing? Same. I have Damien Pierce a few spots on front of both chargers. I have Blake Korm in front of both chargers. I'm not starting chargers if I don't have to at this point. I like Blake Korm this week, by the way. We always talk about he's not somebody that's getting talked about later. So just since you mentioned him, I wanted to quickly bring him up. He's somebody that always I feel like you want to play when the Rams are super heavy favorite, which they are. That one play in that game in the second half where he shot off as soon as he had the ball like Jameer Gibbs. I was like, man, I know he was faster than we thought he was in college, but that was shocking. You watched it. It was like he took off when he had that. So yeah, against the carinals. Yeah. Oh, for sure. And looking ahead, actually, we are not talking about Blake Korm, but Fits will be talking about Blake Korm in a later segment. So that's a tease for him. Let's do a wide receiver one here. How about Don Tavion, Wix or Wondale Robinson this week? Jake, who do you prefer? Wix mostly because it doesn't sound like the want to Smith is coming back. So I have Wix. It's not that I just I don't ever want to start Titans period and to state. I did say anything last week. You guys are like, oh, I can't believe you're so low on Cardinal Tate. I was like, I just I don't want any Titans period. Like you forced me into the Tony Pollard one for before. I hate you for it. These guys are sandwiching Jeremy Bernard in the rankings. Wondale, Robinson is wide receiver 31. Don Tavion, Wix is wide receiver 33 Fits. Who do you like? Wondale. And I have Wondale ranked ahead of Tate. I totally get what Jake is saying. But the Colts are getting creamed by slot receivers, which kind of makes sense when you're playing the Colts, do you want to throw it to your outside receivers who are going up against Sauce Gardener and Charvarius Ward? Or do you want to go up against second year slot corner Justin Wally? Warm your dog is named Wally. I think
he could stick with slot corners or slot receivers better than Justin Wally could. Only team giving up a greater percentage of wide receiver production to slot receivers than the Eagles who we mentioned before is a slot funnel defense. It's the Colts, 64.6% of wide receiver production against Indy has come from slot guys. Colts are giving up 118 yards per game to slot receivers according to fantasy points data. Wix is fine, like I have him as kind of a low end wide receiver three this week. I just love the matchup for Wondale, even if I don't love the Tennessee passing game. - Yeah, just to be clear, my dog Wally who I'm petting right now is not named after the Colts slot cornerback. He is just, I always thought Wally was a good name for a dog, so that's why I was with him. People always ask if he's named after the Pixar character and I was as spelled with a wired. - No, it's, it's out of the why. I just always, he's a goofy looking dog and I always wanted a goofy looking dog named Wally, so he's not named after any of it. I was really bad. A friend of mine is a Red Sox fan and I guess that's the name of their mascot given the green monster out there is Wally and that was a devastating after it was too late to change his name to fight out. He was named after a Red Sox mascot, but yeah, Wally's great, got distracted there. Let's go to our flex, start sit decisions. Jeremiah Love or Matthew Golden higher up in the rankings, but I still think it is a possible decision somebody might have to make even though these guys are ranked fairly highly in the consensus flex rankings. Jake, who do you prefer Jeremiah Love or Matthew Golden? - I actually have a little bit of a gap of Matthew Golden too, Jeremiah Love. And I know it's always risky to trust a wibers here versus somebody guaranteed touches, but I don't trust the floor, I don't trust this backfield. I don't trust whatever's going on with Jeremiah Love where it's an ankle and a knee and a hip and soreness and this and that and the other thing. And it's like, I actually really like Jeremiah Love potentially for the second half of the season if he's 100% healthy, but as of right now, I included this in my ranks column about Matthew Golden and it was a few weeks ago and I doubled down on it again just to go back to see if I could find it. So there's three teams with receiver duos that both have 21% or more of their team targets. Cowboys, Rams, Packers. The Packers pair is the only one that doesn't involve Miss Time for either one. Akuma Miss Time, we had CD Land that missed most of that game or portion of that game, most of the second half. So if you look at there, they're also both top 12 and scoring. So that's the only one the Packers do. I think Matthew Golden is getting overlooked that they break out. Everybody was excited for him last year. He was doing everything we thought he could do out at a college and I have a decent, like I said, I have a decent gap from Golden to Love this week. Fits. Yeah, the Dallas past defense has been as flammable as oily rags this season. So I'm going with Matthew Golden here. And like Jake, I'm generally bullish on Jeremiah Love. And I think this is the lowest I've had him ranked at any point just because we don't know what's going on with the injury and how banged up he is and how much work Tyler Algier is going to get. So while I think generally most weeks, I would have Jeremiah Love higher in this flex matchup this week, it's got to be Golden. Let's do one with a tight end. Isaiah likely has been fantastic this season. He's ranked inside the top five at the position for this week in consensus rankings. But would you start him against a wide receiver who's ranked inside the top 24 at his position? I think inside the top 22. I'll double check to see where Denzel Boston is. But Denzel Boston or Isaiah likely fits. No, this is so hard. Boston is wide receiver 20, by the way. Yeah, I love that the giants passing game has gotten so polarized with just likely neighbors. And that's it basically. And St. St defense has been pretty terrible lately. But I've got to go with my guy Denzel Boston here, especially with Casey Concepcion probably out. And like I like Harold Fanon too, but I worry a little bit that with Concepcion out, your guy Kyle Hamilton Worm might just stick to Fanon all game. In which case, I think Boston could see a lot of targets. Jake? Yeah, I like super close. I have almost back to back Boston barely over likely. The St. St defense has been somewhat decent against Titans. And they like Brock Bowers go bananas on them. So it's not like that you can't just if you get that kind of volume go for likely again. And it is revenge for James Winston technically. So like we might see like this, see what he's talking about. I don't know. He's got multiple teams to give revenge against at this point. But I'm leaning slightly Boston mostly because of what it fits that is no conception. So maybe we get a little bit more. I think Isaiah Bond is going to get involved again, even though he should have had another reception on top of that. He shouldn't like, I mean, that's why is a bond is Isaiah bond. But all that being said, it takes two catches for Boston to probably equal five for likely. And I think that's what gives me the slight edge in this one. Do you guys think, and by the way, it's a bit of a revenge game for not Boston, but for obviously it says head coach Todd Munkin against the Ravens this week. Do you guys think that like this more about the matchup for you or generally speaking? Do you feel like you always would prefer the wide receiver 20 whoever that is compared to the tight end for whoever it is? Like is the gap that wide between the two positions that generally speaking, you feel like you would always lean towards the receiver fits? Or is this more just specifically about the matchups here? The funny thing is if you are comparing a lot of times you think about it and off the top of your head, you're like, well, I've got that guy tight end five and this guy is wide receiver 23. I'd rather have the tight end. But then you look at their yardage per game and you see that the wide receiver is averaging like 20 more yards per game than the tight end five. So I do tend to generally lean wide receiver in these instances. Same question, Jake. Yeah, same, mostly because it's like two or three tight ends before I started thinking about the inconsistency. I talk about this a lot and just had a chat over the athletic and it's like people forget that you kind of chase too much tight end production. And it's like anybody outside the top three or four, maybe five guys at best case scenario, you're going to get 40% bad games from tight ends. And that's too like, that's why I hate rostering and I do like I'm not coming for anybody specifically. But like I see a lot of people, I have John Johnson and Donald and Ken Kay. What should I do? And I was like, get rid of one of them because you're just adding this extra decision to yourself every single week that you're more likely to get wrong because you chase last week and then they go, they don't do anything. So you bench them and then they go like, and you're always playing this chase game. So I bring that up because it's relevant to say that like the only tight ends that I really think are better than why receiver twos are like three, maybe four guys. Another flex one, Alvin Camera or Romeo Dobs. You already talked a bit about Camera Jake earlier. I'll start with you Camera or Donald. So you know my answer, it's Romeo. I will say like if AJ Brown comes back, I would probably lean slightly to Camera and just hope that the giants get up on the saints. But as of right now, I'm leaning towards Dobs. I just don't want to start the Camera. The backfield, the Camera and Miller. Unsurprising choice there. Fitz, what do you think? I, yeah, this is not a fun decision, but Romeo Dobs, he's only had one game with more than three catches this year. Like he's just not and that's without AJ Brown pretty much the whole season. So no question if AJ Brown comes back, it's Camera. And I think even if AJ Brown isn't back, I think I'm still going Camera and hoping he just really runs a PPR scam this week and gets seven catches for 31 yards. He had negative receivers last week. I know, he's averaging. Hello, he's averaging per reception, fewer yards per reception than 27 running back yards per carry. Like that's how bad it is. If I had, I didn't want to do a second tight end in the Flex section, Jake, but if I had asked you Alvin Camera, Mark Andrews, they're back-to-back in consensus rankings and just coming off of an all-time bad game outside in the football box. Turn in the screws to Jake here. Wow. I just, no, I'll leave the spot empty. (laughing) Yeah, I didn't put that in the sheets so you refused to answer. That's fair, I'll cite Camera. The dogs were buried in this real quick. It's a philosophy thing. So like my whole thing is like, if Camera gets you four, or potentially like I underscored it and he gets you seven and a half, does that difference of three and a half points make a difference? It shouldn't. So that's what I'm saying. Like if dogs only get you three, but his ceiling is 18, that's why I go for it. That's why a lot of these situations I'll go for it because if the difference of three or four points makes you weak, I know sometimes you'd be like, "Oh my God, I only lost my two." But it really makes that big of a difference that I'm just gonna go for the ceiling of what I could potentially lose. What more flex here? Commandee Videll or Keon Coleman, your guy fits. Who do you like? Hmm. I'll go with Keon. Sounds like DJ Morris can be out again with his shoulder issue. Keon went over 100 yards with the touchdown in week four. Only had one catch in week five, but it was a touchdown. And I'm not really alarmed by the fact that he only had one catch last week considering that Josh Allen only threw 19 passes in that game. It's kind of a weird game script and kind of weird the way that game ran out for the Bills offense. So I'll stick with Keon this week over the guy in the three way backfield on a terrible offense. Jake Videll had a nice run last week. Do you like him or Keon Coleman this week? Yeah, the same here. You're the leading receivers and yards against the Raiders. Five for 94 Caleb Douglas week one, one for 53. Big play, Trey Harris, nine for 107.
a lot of a five for 11 Taikwan Thornton three for 91 Kyle Williams do sense of theme on these leading wide receivers big play vulnerability against the Raiders. So I'm going with Keon Coleman to hopefully chips in a touchdown on top of it mostly because the way like DJ Moore would change this whole thing if he's surprisingly plays, but this is what a four o'clock game. I don't think most people are going to come wait on that. So Keon Coleman over by Dell. Let's have some fun with Sunday night football for the quarterback one Jordan love or a Dak Prescott. They're both ranked pretty highly. They are both ranked back to back. They are facing each other. Jordan love or Dak Prescott Jake. I'm like at one spot Dak Prescott over love mostly because CDLAM was already practicing in full and I just trust Dak Prescott a little bit more which might sound crazy, but a little bit more than Jordan love. Do you have both guys ranked pretty highly? They're both inside the top six in these years. They're both side top eight for me. Yeah. If it's even more in the ranks as of right now. Yeah. That would change it. Yeah. If it's you, do you like Jordan love or a Dak Prescott? Yeah, that does sound crazy, Jake. I've got two spots apart separating these guys with in between them. Lamar Jackson and I've got love ranked higher. The Cowboys past defense dead last in DVOA, dead last in EPA per pass, dead last in opponent pass rating. The opponent pass rating is 120. The Cowboys defense is a trend rack and it's hilarious that they're bringing in Mike Patton to fix things. I mean, ask Packer's fans about Mike Patton and what they think of him after his stint as the Green Bay Packer's defensive coordinator. Not very highly spoiler alert. So yeah, Jordan love for me this week. Not that close. I think Jordan loves one difference. I don't hate it. Obviously, I'm super close is I think the one thing I think that if you look at Dak Prescott, the yards and the coalitions have been like this, especially with like 300s, is the touchdowns that just haven't come with them where Jordan loves yards have been like this legitimately like this and he keeps getting the touchdowns. So like they could both work out, but it just kind of feels like there's a slightly more like love needs to make sure he's getting the touchdowns, which is working because they don't have a running game. But I just that's why. That's why I give this slight I just feel like that's coming around to find like the touchdowns should be there and they just haven't been and it's weird. He has thrown I think 40 or more passes in three straight games. But I also think in addition to facing the worst defense, I just think love is better. Yeah, that's fair. Yeah, Jake, that was literally what I was about to say is that the touchdowns are two in every game this season for love, but it's the yardage where it's been over 300 under 200 over 300 under 200 over 300. There's been no there's a bad way. It's going to throw 180 against the Cowboys. Yeah. All right, a tight end one here Dallas Goddard or Harold Fanon Jr. fits. I'm going with Fanon because he's got more juice by a power of 10 and but I do I worry that Fanon is going to run into Kyle Hamilton a lot this week. That's my fear. But I just got hurt is now in the catch and fall down phase of his career. I think we saw that last what was the stat line last week like six for 38. I think you're hoping for a touchdown and otherwise gotter probably isn't going to work out for you. It was six for 38 on nine targets for Dallas Goddard. Goddard is ranked two spots higher in consensus. Jake, what do you think? And that's why I'm going with Goddard is because I don't care if he catches and falls down as long as they keep coming on the red zone. I know it didn't last week, but I think it's going to still continue to be there with no Devon this Smith and Derrius Cooper at some point. The Nick Westbrook Akina life is going to end for him. Like we can't keep this up forever as just Westbrook Akina couldn't keep it up forever, but I'm going gotter it like it completely does. It fits is not wrong. It completely hinges on him scoring though because if he doesn't get to touchdown us the jacory Croskey merit argument. So, but at touchdown like that fits brought up my concern about this game is that I'm actually a little bit concerned about the fan and matchup. I think he can bounce back, especially volume wise and if they're frustrated with Isaiah Bond with what happened last week. But I'm just worried that the coverage might focus a little bit more on him with no conception. Let's go to our touchdown calls contest. Fitz, I already teased your guy. You're on running back this week. Could you have for us? Yeah. Blake Korm, he does look fast. And that was the funny thing like they were worried about his straight line speed coming out of Michigan. And he has that he takes those handoffs. He has that moment of hesitation while he reads what's in front of him. And then manned is he punched the gas pedal. His acceleration impressive. Anyway, Blake Korm scored his first TD of the season last week against the bills. And he gets his second TD this week against the Cardinals. I think you might get his third TD against the Cardinals as well, given how I expect this game to go. I'm on receiver. I'm tired of messing around and getting these wrong. I'm picking Mike Evans. He's been awesome this year. They get the commanders who I think the Niners like I said earlier are frankly, I think they're going to stop them this week. Mike Evans will be a part of that even just fighting through the injury stuff. He's been a real warrior this year. And everybody else keeps getting injured around him in this receiving room. So they have to throw to somebody. I think it'll continue to be him this week against the commanders. So Blake Korm at running back Mike Evans at receiver. Jake, who is your tight end? Hey, we don't get to celebrate that my wife receiver for the second time in the year. Got two touchdowns when I gave him a touchdown call and Far from Washington. Like I could stick with the wide receiver. Can I just have wide receivers through? They're all going to score two touchdowns. I am going to Dalton concade with no DJ Moore. I know everybody's frustrated is like, oh, when is it going to happen for Dalton concade? And then we saw it early in that game. It's like, oh, wait, that's Dawson Knox. Son of a, you know what? And it didn't end up happening anyway. But it's just the frustration of what we continue to be at the bills. But against the Raiders, I feel like this is a get right week, especially because if you look at the fact that what was the Saints that scored four tight end touchdowns against them in that one game, but it's the matchup. It's the concade. It needs the opportunities with this situation of no DJ Moore. So hopefully this is it. Like keep concade in your lineup for one more week. Just don't ride the roller coaster. Just keep them in there. Very quickly because we have to go. Where is concade rigged for you? Jake inside my top 10. I once bought behind Kelsey. Okay. That's where he is in consensus. Same for you fits or tight end nine. I don't know. Okay. Again, don't freak out about last week because the bill is through 19 passes in that game. Yeah. That's part of the two. All right. It's a quorum evidence and concade are our touchdown calls. If you think you can nail this week's touchdowns, join our free touchdown calls contest on pick sheet. Podcast Summary
Key Points:
Jeremy Bernard is a strong WR3 option due to Pittsburgh's receiver injuries and favorable matchups against the Buccaneers' defense.
Kendra Miller is a mid-30s RB value with limited upside against the Giants, though the offense’s inconsistency makes him a risky flex pick.
Damien Pierce is a low-value RB with poor offensive line support, ranked in the mid-20s despite high touch expectations.
Woody Marks is favored over Marshawn Lloyd as the Texans’ starter against a tough Jaguars run defense, with better metrics and volume potential.
Jalen Coker is preferred over Luther Burton due to the Eagles’ slot-heavy defense and Coker’s better production and matchup.
Josh Downs is seen as a better pick than Mecca Agbuca against the Titans, with stronger fantasy stats and route efficiency.
Matthew Golden is favored over Jeremiah Love in the flex due to more consistent targets and fewer injury concerns.
Denzel Boston is the better choice vs. Isaiah Wynn against the Giants, especially with Casey Conner out and increased tight end targets.
Summary:
FAQs
Jeremy Bernard is a solid starting option due to multiple injuries in the Steelers' receiver room. He's expected to see increased targets with the team leaning into 12-personnel formations. Though not in the top 30, he's a reliable flex pick in a 14-by-week scenario.
Kendra Miller is a borderline pick. He had limited production in the first two quarters and only a few snaps in the fourth. While he's ranked in the mid-30s, starting him is risky compared to more consistent options like Brian Robinson.
Damien Pierce is a risky option. The Eagles' offensive line is weak, and Pierce has struggled with efficiency since 2023. He's expected to get a majority of touches, but production is likely limited, making him a low-value flex pick rather than a starter.
Woody Marks is the better choice. He's expected to have a majority of touches against a tough Jaguars defense, and his stats show improvement over last year. Despite Lloyd’s recent touchdowns, Marks’ volume and matchup advantages make him the safer pick.
Jalen Coker is the better option. The Eagles have a slot-focused defense that is vulnerable to slot receivers, and Coker is playing against a weak slot defense. While Burton has had limited production, the matchup favors Coker.
Josh Downs is the better pick. He has a stronger receiving profile, with high route participation and a consistent target count. Though Agbuca showed bursts, Downs has better overall peripherals and is more likely to perform against a Titans defense that gives up significant yardage to slot receivers.
