Week 6 Start Sit Advice (Part 1) | MUST-Start Players & Big Names to AVOID (10/15 Fantasy Football Podcast)

Fantasy football analysts discuss key matchups in Week 6, emphasizing high-impact games like Houston vs. Jacksonville and Pittsburgh vs. Tampa Bay. Jordan Love is touted as a top-4 start due to his strong recent performance and favorable matchup against Dallas, while running backs Ramon Dre Stevenson and Jalen Coker are highlighted for their workload and matchups. The Eagles’ backfield, particularly Braylon Allen, is seen as a high-upside RB2 due to a favorable run defense matchup. Key injuries—including Sean Tucker’s quad, Travian Henderson’s limited practice, and Denzel Boston’s inconsistent but explosive profile—are noted as major variables. Players to avoid include Roma Dukes, Marshawn Lloyd, and Jikori Kroski, due to poor performance or matchups. The Chiefs’ passing game is viewed as competitive, with Mahomes remaining a top-tier QB despite defensive pressure. Injury reports and depth are stressed as critical factors in decision-making. The analysis also includes a lighthearted mention of late-night Doritos, underscoring the blend of serious strategy and personal anecdotes in fantasy football coverage. Overall, the week offers a mix of high upside and risk, urging managers to prioritize matchups, injury status, and player health.

>> This is fantasy football today from CBS sports. >> Can you believe this? >> It's time to dominate your fantasy league. >> It's to the races. >> What he stays on his feet. >> It's just got to go the distance. >> Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and he. >> Welcome to this show. We are getting into week six on Thursday, October 15th with the Seahawks and the Broncos playing tonight to kick things off today. We've got seven mostly AFC home games. We've got Houston at Jacksonville, really interesting game from a fantasy perspective. Pittsburgh at Tampa Bay, the bucks have been pretty tough against quarterbacks against wide receivers. It's just going to be a tough game for Aaron Rogers. Baltimore at Cleveland, the jets are at the Patriots. We've got these running backs for excited to play. And also, we've got Garrett Wilson versus Christian Gonzalez. Tennessee's at Indianapolis, Buffalo at Las Vegas. Good news for Ash and Gentie seems to be getting healthier and the bills allow the second most fantasy points to running backs. Chargers are at the chiefs and heath. You know, I can remember the costus former colleague of ours singing Andy Reed off the buy. Andy Reed off the buy. They've actually lost two of their last three games off the buy. That might be the game. I'd have my worst enemy watch the chief starters. >> You know, it's it's going to be a great game. Probably going to be a very close game. I traded this game for a season of laughter. So the chiefs are going to lose to the Chargers. Chargers are going to get their first win. And then they won't win another game until they play the chiefs again. >> Actually, it does seem like a lot of these weeks off the buy recently for the chiefs have been very competitive game. So probably we'll be close. Jamie, what's the best game your favorite game on the slate? >> Favorite game on the slate. Jacksonville Houston is very intriguing just because I think you're. I want to see Houston turn a corner. You know, so I'm excited to see Marvin Harrison and what that looks like. So that might be my favorite game. >> Yeah, that's kind of where I was going to this not. We don't have bills rams. I don't have anything like that this week, I think, but that's. >> I mean, Sunday night. >> Yeah, yeah, I mean, that'll be a shoot. Yeah, Dallas and Green Bay will be a shoot out. It'll be a lot of fun. But yes, Houston, I think we all are hoping they are better than a one and four team, and they've gotten, they're getting Marvin Harrison back this week. And Tank Del was practicing in full as well. Stat of the week for you from our John breach on Twitter. John says we're getting it before you say it is a kicker related stat. >> No, wow, upset. >> We're getting an NFL rarity this week. A team coming off an international game has to play a team coming off a buy. That would be the Eagles hosting the Panthers. This has only happened four times. And the team coming off the international game is o and four. >> That helps explain something to me. I think Breach is responsible for some line movement because I went through this morning just to update the projections based on the line movement. I think the Eagles opened as a one and a half or two point favorite. The Panthers are currently a one point favorite. So it may have also been because Delan Day Smith and Saquon Barkley weren't to practice yesterday. Could have had something to do with it, but let's give credit to Breach. >> Okay, there you go. >> All right, players we love. Let's get into the players we love brought to you by StitchFix. If you're like me in close shopping, just it's not your thing. Check out StitchFix. StitchFix has you covered. Get styled today at StitchFix.com/football. Jamie's got Jordan Love, Ramon Dre Stevenson and Jalen Coker as players he loves. >> Yeah, love is our start of the week. Another guy that we're all excited about Dave's the lowest one on him at 8. But top 10 guy and coming off his best game of the season. Taking on a Dallas defense that has allowed every quarterback group that they've faced except for Jalen Daniels to score 24 or more fantasy points. I say group because the commander is combined for it with Jalen Daniels in the first half in Marks Mario in the second half when Daniels got hurt. Love, you've heard me say this that a billion times by now already. And we're down to 30. So 30 times in his career where he's been 30 or more past attempts. 19 of those games he scored at least 20 fantasy points. So I think the floor is there because he's probably going to throw in this matchup. I know maybe Joy Porter Jr. changes some things for the secondary for Dallas. I'm not really concerned. He's throwing the ball a lot while they may have some success running the ball. I don't think that's the strength of his team by any standard at this point. So Jordan Love has immense upside. >> Love it. All right, Jordan Love. You guys both have him in the top four. And as Jamie mentioned, Dave has him eighth Ramon Dre Stevenson. Now we got this news that Travian Henderson was actually limited in practice, Jamie. So what's your read on the Patriots' backfield right now? >> I mean, obviously that will lower some of the numbers or projections for Stevenson. But still will be a mustar guy. He had one game already this season without Henderson. It was a brutal match up against Seattle. He had 23 total touches, five catches, 18 carries. So I'm guessing that's the neighborhood of workload we're looking at. You know, certainly I would say 18 plus touches for him in this game. His last two games against the Jets. He combined for 50 PPR points. So this is obviously likes and the Jets run defense. We know has been very up and down so far this season. So they've given up two games. I think it was junior Gibbs and Menongai combined for 69 PPR points in a back-to-back stretch against them. So Stevenson should have an opportunity to perform at a high level. And then in the case of Jalen Koker, those happy to have him back. Hopefully he stays healthy coming back in the quad injury. First two games we know were awesome. Nine targets, eight catches in both of those games. Or was it eight targets and seven catches? >> No, it was a nine. >> You had it, yeah. >> A lot of work for him and I think we'll see him. He's alluded to this on the so high for Teterone McMillan. The last five games of last year, first two games of this year. Jalen Koker outplayed Teterone McMillan. I don't think that will be the case consistently moving forward. But this is just a great opportunity against a secondary, which is somewhat underperform. So not the easiest to match up, but still a guy you should be excited to start. >> Yeah, I got an interesting question in the inbox today. Jalen Koker or a manual Wilson in PPR, who would you go with? >> Koker. >> Koker. >> Hey, that's what I said. All right, blame Jamie and Heath if we get it wrong. Heath, the players you love this week. >> Are. >> Do you have them? I have them. >> Yeah, Braille and Alan. >> There we go. Which again, not a great matchup against the Patriots, but the state of the running back position is such that if you are getting as many touches as Braille and Alan is getting, we're going to love you. And so you can start him with confidence as a kind of high end RB2 this week. And last week we finally saw someone besides Braille and Alan touch the football in the backfield. It wasn't enough to matter. He's the clear dominant workhorse back in this backfield. Start Braille and Alan, my second one was not a person yet because we don't know who it is. But whoever starts at running back for the Eagles, the Carolina Panthers. I don't know if there's ever been a bigger swing from between two matchups. Then facing the Jacksonville run defense to facing the Carolina run defense. They are the best team against the run against running backs in terms of yards per carry. The Panthers have been the worst team. I believe it's 5.39 yards per carry. If it's a Juan Barclay, he's a top 12 running back. If it's Damian Pierce, he's a top 20 running back. He'll be somebody in their sharing touches with him. But Pierce should get the lion's share of the work. And then Pat Fryerman with Michael Pittman out with Roman Wilson out. Fryerman's lining up outside a lot more playing a little bit of wide receiver Aaron Rogers throwing 38 passes per game. I think, yeah, eight of them will go to DK six or seven of them will probably go to to Jeremy Bernard. And I kind of like him as a number three wide receiver. But it's also going to be a big day for Pat Fryerman to start him. Yeah, and Tampa Bay, their defense hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be just based on like preseason projections. But they've struggled against tight ends. They've been good against receivers, struggled against tight ends. Don't tell that to Jake Ferguson. All right, so for Jamie, it was Jordan Love, Ramondra Stevenson and Jalen Coker for Heath Braylon Allen. The Eagles starting running back in Pat Fryermuth. That is stitchfix.com/football. And now let's get all negative here and talk about the players we want to avoid. Heath got Roma Dunze at Atlanta on the avoid list. This one hurts my heart a little bit. Martian Lloyd against Dallas on Sunday night. And Jikori Kroski merit at San Francisco on Monday night. Odunze and then those two running backs. Yeah, Dunze has one game with more than 52 receiving yards this season. He in the two games, the Caleb Williams played. He had a combined seven targets. It was his two lowest targeted games. I think there's some hope that Caleb Williams because of the hamstring injury might play in the pocket a little bit. More and on time a little bit more. I'm not sure that's the best thing for Roma Dunze. That tells me more short area targets to Lutherburden, Colston Loveland and Clee Framond. I think Odunze is kind of guy that could benefit if Williams is running around a little bit and then throwing it deep. Hopefully he does that at least once in Odunze scores his first touchdown of the season. But he is a low in wide receiver three more of a flex for me this week. Hopefully you don't have to start him. And then Martian Lloyd and Jikori Kroski merit kind of both the same thing. They scored touchdowns last week Lloyd got two of them, but the usage. really wasn't much better. And Lloyd's still been awful as a rusher this season. The team still can't run the ball. Dallas, I think, is going to put up a lot of points against this Packer's defense as well, which is going to lead to more Jordan Love's throws. It wasn't just Marshawn Lloyd handling the passing downs last week. Pierre Strong had a big role in the passing game for this Packer's offense. So I don't, he's a flex. And I'd probably rather flex him than Roma Dune's A, but I don't want to start him. And then Bill had this fantastic start to the game and then didn't play for most of the fourth quarter and all of over time. It was all Rashad White at the end of that game. And I think that's what happens when the commanders get into kind of a, we got to play faster, chase the score or throw the ball a lot. And guess what, they're eight and a half point, maybe seven and a half now, point underdogs against maybe the best team on football, the San Francisco of 49ers. I don't think he's going to have a good rushing average against this defense. And I think probably in the second half, it's not going to be him on the field. Only thing I would say about Marshawn Lloyd is that the role did change in the sense that they didn't use Caleb Johnson at all until the fourth quarter of a blowout. Caleb Johnson didn't play a single snap in the first three quarters. So that is the only, the only bounce that he got. He wrote about the passing downs, but he was the only ball carrier basically for them. I think what you need in the case of both these guys is, is, is fast starts. Oh, I thought you would say it touched down. Well, I think it touched down. It's definitely touched down. I think the two things, and he's not wrong in anything, with what he said, the thing about cross-gameric, two full games with Jay and Daniels. He scored in both of those. So hopefully just the threat of a better quarterback and maybe some of the open running lanes that we see, you know, I think that's what happened on the first run. You know, 33-hour touchdown run is, you know, that's what you're going to have to need from him is the commanders to stay competitive early and that he does his damage early in the game. And for Lloyd, it's the same thing, 'cause if the Cowboys get ahead early, then it could be problematic. All right, Jamie, you are sitting Jeremiah, well, you are trying to avoid Jeremiah Love, who may not even play. Make sure I'll take a look at Tyler Alger and I'll get you his roster percentage in a second. Jeremiah Love at the Rams, Jalen Waddle tonight, Trevor Lawrence, that's the, that's a tricky one there. Lawrence against Houston. So Jeremiah Love, Mike LaFlor, I don't know what he's doing, you know, it doesn't want to play him on passing downs because of past protection issues, which don't necessarily mean it's him having past protection issues. It just was a very confusing quote that he gave. He's just been very confusing how he's using him. So this is a borderline starter at best. When you're looking at his production here, Jalen Waddle tonight, I mean, look, he's, I don't know what's going to happen with the second game of Sean Payton calling plays. Bonex looks off, Waddle not getting the amount of targets that we need, he's had two good games this season. One game where he was hyper targeted, it was week two. After disappointing week one, I just think you're looking at him as a starter in three or three leagues at best, but you're talking about still Seattle's defense, which is amazing. And then in the case of Trevor Lawrence, he said, yeah, it's tricky to sit him and I understand how he's played. Three of five games, he's been great, two games he's been disappointing. His history against the Miko Ryan's, not great, his history against the Texas overall, not great, 10 meetings against his team, two games over 20 fantasy points, only one against Miko Ryan's since 2023. They have done a much better job of quarterbacks, of facing quarterbacks of late. So in their last four games against, take it for what it's worth. Joe Burrow, Daniel Jones, Dak Prescott, Cam Ward, two really good quarterbacks, two bad quarterbacks. They're giving up an average of 13.8 fantasy points over that span. The high is Joe Burrow at 20.8. So it's not like there's been like a big spike game of disappointing Cam Ward game and not much in between. It's not like they're giving up big performances to quarterbacks across the board. So this feels like it could be a low scoring game with two good defenses. I think Trevor Lawrence's gonna struggle. - Without his left tackle too, keep that in mind. - Oh yeah, I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that. Yes, without his left tackle, walk a little bit of the left tackle, taking on Will Anderson and Daniel Hunter. Good luck. - We got another tricky question in the inbox today. Tyler Schuck or Trevor Lawrence? - Show me a Schuck by lot. - Oh, me too. - Okay, hey, that's what I said. Blame Heath and Jamie, if we are wrong. Tyler Algera is 59% rostered. He's obviously done nothing, but in week one he had 17 carries. Jeremiah Loves got this ankle injury. There's a chance he doesn't play. They're trying to rest him to get him right. And honestly, if you're a Jeremiah Loves manager, I think you should be rooting for him to not play. But let's sit him as long as he can. We don't need this stupid split where they're both useless. We need a healthy Jeremiah Loves. Obviously struggling with this ankle injury and the floor said we gotta give him time to rest. That's what he needs. So like get him healthy and get him back to that. Week three usage where he played two-thirds of the snaps where he played in the goal line where he was the guy where a far cry from that. All right, players do a vote. - Yeah, if this is the Rams, last week, first time they've given up a touchdown to running back, which was James Cook's point twice. - Yeah. Yeah, sure, obviously, it's tough. Oh, I'm gonna name five players here on your avoid list. Who's the best one? Roma Dunes, A. Marchean, Lloyd, Jakory Kroski, Merit, Jeremiah Loves, Jalen Waddle. - Who's the best in terms of who would I rather start? - Yeah. - It would be Lloyd. - Probably going to be Waddle for me. - All right, we gotta note about Sunday, a little bit of a change on Sunday, just this Sunday for now. So Sunday morning whenever there's a Europe game at 9.30 AM, we have a live stream from 8.30 AM to 9.30. And then usually we go from noon to one for part two. This is a great way to get your questions answered 12.30 to 1 PM, but also 8.30 to 9.30 AM. Join us for that. Okay, news and notes. Michael Penex, Jr., Caleb Williams, they're expected to play this week against each other. And Lamar, Jackson, mispractice, but he still could play. Travian Henderson got in a limited session. He's supposed to miss some time. And he still might, but he was able to practice. Dylan Samson and Quinchon Juddkins mispractice. Raheem Sanders is on IR. Take a look at Julio McLaughlin. As of yesterday, he was 19% roster. I'll take a look at the updated right now. Julio McLaughlin, 30% roster. So people are picking him up. Playing the Ravens, they have a good run defense, but he could get all the touches. If Julio McLaughlin is the guy, would you start him or Marshawn Lloyd? Lloyd. I'd probably start McLaughlin. I think this one they did. And if you're in like the deepest of leagues, is Audric Estimate, too, because that's going to be what he shares with. All right. I've got Lloyd, just hit him. Sorry, Lloyd. Yeah, okay, my bad. Say, one Berkeley mispractice. I mentioned the Jeremiah Laptain. Comment, non-guy mispractice. And the Andre Swift was able to practice, which is good news. Shaw. What's in full? Yes. Shaw and Tucker mispractice. He may not play this week. And we know he could be a thorn in the side of Bucky Irving. Alvin Camara was limited. Ashton Gentie, I teased this. He's practicing, he practiced in full. They say the ankle's getting healthier for Ashton Gentie. That's great news. Now, the Bill's run defense hasn't been that bad. They do, however, give up the most or the second most receiving yards to running backs. And Gentie's been great there. Wide receiver news. Marvin Harrison Jr. is going to play. Tank Dell practice in full. DJ Moore was listed. They didn't have a practice they had to walk through, but he was listed as a did not practice DJ Moore. Josh Downs mispractice for hamstring and rest. He's probably going to be OK. CDLAM practice in full. That's cool. Jalen Coker is good to go. Devante Smith mispractice. Trey Tucker is questionable with a quad injury. We're going to keep an eye on that. Denzel Boston was limited. I'm assuming he'll be all right. Rishi Rice mispractice. Jacobi Lane practice in full for the Ravens. The jets are neat. They need a number two receiver right now because Adam Mitchell is likely out this week. Omar Cooper Jr. designated to return from IR. Every charger's wide receiver is questionable. They were all limited. Sorry, I'm at limited. Except for Trayha. - No, it's the Harris and Upper. - Trayha is weak to weak. But Johnston and like Lambert Smith, I think, and Maconkey, limited, limited, limited. And who else was limited? AJ Brown was limited. You think there's a chance AJ Brown plays this week? There's absolutely a chance. Be great. - That would be awesome. I'd be surprised. - I'd be surprised too, but let's keep our fingers crossed. Kenyan Cedeaks and the Concussion Protocol. Joe Brady wants to get Dolts King Cade more involved. And the teams with the bad offensive line situations right now would be the Chargers. Maybe you could say the Patriots without Will Campbell. The Giants might not have their right tackle. The Browns might not have their, I believe, right tackle. The Jaguars don't have their left tackle for at least a month or three to five weeks rather. Green Bay could be getting left guard Aaron Banks back this week. The defensive injuries you need to know about the tonight, the Broncos are pretty beat up on defense. Dre Green law line. - So do you think we should start, Joe, soon? - I think so. Well, should we sit the Broncos DST? - I'm not going to carry two defenses. - I think just the thing to keep in mind is Darnal's played a couple of bad defenses recently and not San Francisco, but the week before. Turn over to Bron. Also, one more guy you didn't mention. I was encouraged to slash surprise. Casey Concepcion, who was in the concussion protocol, was at a limited practice. So that's a pretty decent sign on a Wednesday. We'll see where he's at Thursday. - Yeah, and I, you know, like I said, I think Denzel ball somebody fine, but he was limited. All right, as Chicago's little beat up on D, actually Chicago's very beat up on defense for this game against the Falcons. I think they're okay in the secondary, but the front seven's banged up. Chargers have a couple of defense. - And Montes, but just-- - Yeah, right, exactly. and. and Christian Gonzales is going to play. Carlton Davis did not practice. The other starting corner back for the Patriots did not practice. Okay, we're taking a break. One question for each game and I'm gonna catch my breath after this. Jalen Neller maybe? - Was it Jalen Neller, quad injury? - Jalen Neller was a good caution protocol. - Okay, I don't know what I saw. All right, well, that's good. Sorry about that. - No, you're fine. I just caught me off guard 'cause I have to start him in the guillotine link. - Hey, Tucker Quad injury, I'm gonna Google it. - Like, if you're going to have to, - I know what he's probably Sean Tucker. That has the quad injury. - Yeah, you got the Tucker confused. - I am very sorry about that. - He did say Sean Tucker's injury. - I did, yeah, bad. - You're gonna have to throw a dart at one week that trade talker's going to catch a long pass for a touchdown. This is not a bad week to do it. - Yeah. - It's true. - Facing Buffalo, they give up a lot of big plays. All right, I do have a very quick, very quick food review that Heath recommended something and it was one of the weirdest things I've ever had in my life that I'm gonna tell you after one question for each game. Houston at Jacksonville, Heath, how much do we trust the Jaguar's offense? - Parker, Washington's a must start. Basial Tutton is probably a must start. He's a number two running back. I'd like to get away. Britain's strange is a borderline tight end one. I don't know if trust is the right word, but with four teams on a buy, you're probably starting most of them. - Okay. Yeah, their offense has been better at home, great at home so far. And they're, I mean, like truly home. Jacksonville, not London. - This is home. - Yeah. Pittsburgh at Tampa Bay, is this a tough matchup for the Steelers, Jamie? - On paper, yes. And anytime Todd Bowles has got his blitz working, it's tough for opposing quarterbacks and offenses, but I think you have one definite must start in Jalen Warren two potential starting wide receivers, one potential starting tight end and one potential starting quarterback. So not slam dunks, but four teams on a buy, a lot of injuries. I think based on how those other players, positions are playing, you can turn to them and rely on them in this game. - Yeah, I mean, the Buccaneers is kind of crazy. They've held Joe Burrow, Jordan Love and Dak Prescott to 17.1 or fewer fantasy points in six point per passing touchdown leagues. And I am tormented by this Aaron Rogers versus Kirk Cousins thing. I changed my mind every five seconds. - Cousins. - I have gone with Cousins too. - I'm just gonna stick with Rogers, but now the trade suckers healthy again. (laughs) Cousins, I'll tell you why. There's something about Cousins. It's the pressure rate. The last two weeks, he's been one of the most pressured quarterbacks in football. And he's kind of struggled. Now, two weeks ago we had a good game, but he threw 52 times or something like that, 54 times. But I don't wanna talk you out of Kirk Cousins 'cause he could be awesome this week. - I mean, really the only concern with Cousins is if they get behind early, do we see Mendoza? - That's the other thing, yeah. Baltimore at Cleveland. Starterson, Harold Finn and Junior Heath coming off a terrible game. - If you can find Pat Fryer-Muth on the waiver wire, I would sit him. If you can find Brinton Strange on the waiver wire, I would sit him. He's not a top 12 tight end for us. He might score a touchdown. That's pretty much though. - The Ravens see the second few as tight end targets per game in the NFL. They do very well on short pass attempts. The Jets at New England, are we worried Jamie about Garrett Wilson versus Christian Gonzales? - I do have an ranked too high, so I will drop him a little bit. This was, I think, initially when I ranked him there and I didn't change it with Gonzales coming off to Miss Games, you're not setting him though. It's four teams on a buy. The receiver is the position impacted and most by injury and by-weeks moon. You think about the Bengals guys, the Lions guys, Justin Jefferson. He's favorite player of all time, Malik Washington. You don't have these guys available. Wilson's still gonna get targeted and he's been awesome, so just don't expect him to win you your week. He'll still be good enough to start. - Jaylen Coker or Garrett Wilson? - Still lost. - Wilson. - Tennessee didn't end. - It's like Wilson, I have Christian Watson behind him, like I'd rather start Watson over Wilson, just given the matchup, for example. - And I've got some history with Wilson and Gonzales that I will share with you when we talk about that game. Tennessee and Indianapolis, this is the questions that's been out in everyone's mind. Colts and Titans here rank the wide receivers in this game. - Karnel Tate, Josh Downes, Wondale, Robinson, Keenan Allen. - Okay, Karnel Tate is, where for you? - 20. - 20. - Ish. - Okay, that's where he is in the consensus rankings. Everyone else is a number three receiver. Downs, Wondale, Keenan Allen. Let's see, Buffalo at Las Vegas. Jamie, you think we can get a big astrogentie game? - It'd be nice, it's tough to trust that he's playing at 100%. You said he practiced in full. There was a little bit of hubbub in Las Vegas, I guess, when Dan Graziano of ESPN and the notes column that he does with Jeremy Fowler suggested, I think the report was, internally the Raiders discussed sitting genty to get him 100% right because he's got the ankle injury and then the other foot injury on both different legs. Kubi X said he's playing and then he practices in full. So yet to score a rushing touchdown, the majority of his fantasy production, the positive stuff has come from the passing game. Like you said, the bill's struggle with pass catching, running backs. So hopefully that's what you get your numbers from. Again, four teams on a buy. If you have astrogentie, you're thrilled that you have him. I just don't think that he is a top 12 guy this week. I think he's just a good number, Jeremy. - I think I might have just changed my mind again. I think I might go with cousins over. (laughs) - Look, it's the tight end and quarterbacks that we talked about on waivers. There's three guys from each position that you could have pros and cons for and beat yourself up over who you're gonna start. It's cousins, Rodgers, Winston, and it's strange, Friar Mooth and Higby. They're all gonna be potentially great or they're all gonna suck. I don't think there's any in between with those guys without their performance. - Yeah, Rodgers kind of reverted to old Rodgers last week with all these super short pass attempts. Not mean he'll do it this week, but he got kind of lucky with that Jalen Warren play. Chargers are at the chiefs. How do we feel about the chiefs passing game this week, Heath? - That will depend on whether Rushy Rice plays. If Rice plays, he's a low end to wide receiver two. Mahomes is a low end QB1. Kelsey is a low end tight end one. If Rice is out, then Xavier Worthy is a little more exciting as a wide receiver three. Good, not great. - Yeah, Mahomes is tough. I feel like to me this week. I don't know how you guys feel about him. I mean, he's top 12. I don't think you're gonna start a waiver wire guy over him. - No, I wouldn't do that. But he's played so well this year. Throw in the deep ball, great. But who's gonna throw the deep ball, too? I think the Thornton losses kind of a underrated thing just for his fantasy values. Not really running since week one. His five Rush attempts in the last three get three games combined. I don't know. Around 12 Mahomes. - He's 10th. - Who did, who do you get hurt against last year? - Oh, it's the Chargers, yeah. - Oh yeah, he's got this game circle, Troy. - Oh, you like him a lot. Are you having seventh? Dave has him fourth. - This is with Rice playing. If Rice is not playing, I will drop him closer to where he has him. - Yeah, I mean, he was great last year without Rice. I mean, Rice hasn't really done that much this year. You think it's a big deal? - I mean, it's not ideal. But like you said, he hasn't done much with Rice. He had a great game against the Raiders with Taekwam Thornton. So can Cyrus Allen do that? Can Justin Watson do that? Can obviously Xavier Worthy do that? That game against the Raiders. Travis Kelsey did nothing, you know, so- - He was really that great. I scored like 20 points or something. He scored 21 fantasy points. He actually kind of struggled. 15 of 30. - Yeah, I'm not expecting 28 points from Mahomes. I think he's a good enough start. And again, Kelsey did nothing in that game. So no door in James, most likely again. He's got the hamstring injury. So that helps Kelsey's scenario. - Yeah, that's true. - All right, real quick food room. - I think Xavier Worthy is somebody that's, you know, what was the trade you offered me last week? - Okay, I can't remember. - Is she here? - Yeah, she's here for- - Yeah, let's make that trade now. - I don't even know who has- - Was that the podcast leak? - No, that was super flex leak. Xavier Worthy, I dropped him. I had to drop him for Kendrick. - Oh my God, I had one billion percent use him in the super flex leak. I have Jefferson. my three receivers from last week Justin Deverson you picked them up. I did yeah, that's fantastic. So you tried to trade him Xavier worthy. He declined the trade. No, no, he pulled the trade. He rescinded it. I had to drop worthy like before it was right before kickoff. I had it. You did it for country born. Yeah, it worked out. All right, a food review real quick. My son was starving the other night went to a gas station was trying to get him like a kind bar or something. Very small gas station. They have anything like that. So I had to go to the Doritos aisle and I said, Oh, he loves late night Doritos. Let's give him a try. This is one of the weirdest things I've ever tasted in my life. Your first like the first time it touches your tongue, I think it's disgusting. It tastes like Doritos that late night Doritos, specifically the late night flavor. It tastes like a taco and it's just like not what I wanted and then you take a bite and it gets so much better. And you start like feeling it's like, Oh, this is actually not bad. But it's one of the weirdest things I've ever had. I encourage everyone to try late night Doritos. Give me a review. Jamie, let's get your review of late night Doritos for the mail back. I will I will eat them. I have a great story for the mail that by the way. I'll just give you a little bit of a tease. So I have to write starts it every Wednesday. It takes a very long process. If you read it, you can you understand why and Dan and Dan Schneider and Brandon Howard edit it for me. And they're obviously waiting around, waiting around. So like they go out and comes out in segments. And so I had to do the last part of it, which is the the lead of the story. Start of the week, tie, dance, kick, or defense. And how to go drop off my son at a event. It came back. There was an alligator being dragged across street. I'll tell you the rest tomorrow. That's fantastic. Also, if you want the full late night Dorito experience, I don't know if you eat sour cream or Greek yogurt, whichever one you prefer. Dipping them in that is because eat a little sour cream on your taco. Oh, it's fantastic. That's a great idea. Great idea. By the way, Adam, I'm curious with you because you and I are similar. You're worse than me as a germafub. And I would never do this in public, but only home. But I, you know, make my kids lunch. I give them the Doritos quite a bit. Cool. Orange Doritos all the time. The only only one of the only foods. Again, at home only where I will actually lick my fingers after I touch it because Doritos on your finger tips are the best. You have to. I mean, like Doritos require the licking of fingers. Absolutely. Yes. All right. You sit at Jacksonville. Start of the game. No running back has more than 12 carries against the Jaguars. No running back has reached 40 Russian yards yet against the Jaguars. Chase Brown with a big receiving game is the only running back with more than 60 total yards against the Jaguars. They have not faced the toughest competition. They've faced Cleveland, Denver, New England, Cincinnati and Philadelphia without Seikwang Barkley. We've kind of talked about the Jaguars and our expectations for them. But Jamie, what are our expectations for waiver wire number one guy? Woody Marx. So he's kind of alluded to this a couple times. It's a bad week for running backs. I think if you pick up Woody Marx, given his expected workload, you should be starting him as a number two guy this week. So the match ups sucks. The Jaguars number three and few as fantasy points allowed to posing running backs. I'm hoping what we've seen from two games at least so far this year, he's been involved in the pasting game. And I think that's going to matter here like we saw with Chase Brown. Not he's not catching 10 passes, but can he get to four or five? I think that's realistic. Is he going to have a good rushing average? Probably not. This is a better Houston offense than we've seen in recent years. CJ Stroud looks like Rookie CJ Stroud again. And now you're injecting Marvin Harrison for what that's worth into the offense, maybe Tank Del. I think that Houston will score against Jacksonville. And that should lead to Woody Marx having some good enough production. So don't love it. If this was no teams on a buy and we had everybody available injury wise, I think Woody Marx is at best a flex. But for this week, I think he qualifies as a top 20 got, you know, he kind of gets that, I think I have where Damien Pierce, Tony Pollard, Mars Online, where that Bermuda Triangle sort of, you know, connects like that's right where Woody Marx is right in front of. I like Woody a lot more in full PPR. I think I didn't, I don't know if Jamie said this because that was having some connection issues over the last 60 seconds. But you mentioned that Buffalo gives up a lot of catches to running backs. Jacksonville tied with Buffalo for the second most receptions to running backs purging. Little misleading with the Chase Brown game, but you're right. You wouldn't start Woody Marx over Basel Tutin though because he has a tough matchup too. I would start Basel Tutin, but that's close. I would start just, you know, again, for what it's worth, not that these guys were playing great, but I would start Woody Marx easily over Jeremiah Love and Omar and Hampton. Oh yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah, if someone asked Kendri Miller or Woody Marx. Marx. Marx. Unless Cameras ruled out, then it's closer. Marx or Roma Doonsay PPR. Marx. Marx. Marx or Luther Burton. It's close. I'd probably still want Marx. Me too. Okay, CJ Stratt or Trevor Lawrence. I like Stratt better. Lawrence for me. Where do you have those guys? Back to back Stratt at 13 Lawrence at 14. I think 13, 15, yeah. Okay. All right, so you could start Chuck over them. Who's had more 20 point games? I think the same. Three free. That's a great question. Yeah, it's a good call. It's definitely three for Lawrence, and I'm pretty sure it's three for Stratt because he's had 20 or more in every game with Nico. It is the only issue ahead. Sorry, he's the only issue ahead with Stratt is like look who he's done it against with Nico Collins. He scored 20.5 fantasy points against Buffalo. That's really not good. scored 27 fantasy points against Dallas. That's great, but Dallas is terrible. 23 fantasy points at Tennessee. You know, he's had a really easy schedule. Jacksonville is allowing the seventh fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. Joe Burrow is the only guy to score more than 16 points against the Jaguars. And he had 54 pass attempts and a rushing touchdown. They haven't given up multiple touchdowns, passing touchdowns in a game yet. But didn't he play a couple of games without was Nico just missed one already missed two, too. And now Marvin Harris and juniors is wide received for two, which I think will help. Um, I think he'll this week. Man, if I could be a really good pass offense. Yeah. He is playing pretty well, man. He's he's slinging it. No doubt. All right, so what do you marks? And, uh, Basil toot and we talked about guys, you could start over them, agree or disagree, you could start Ramon Dre. Yes. Yep. Even if if Henderson plays. Oh, okay. And Basil toot. And I mean, I'm sorry, Chuba Hubbard and Jalen Warren, obviously, you could start one and and same with even if Rico plays still Jalen. How about a manual Wilson tonight or running back in this game? I would take a manual. So I'm going to be back to back games with 20 plus touches. It's hard to overlook. I would start to. Yeah, after all those late night Doritos, I bet you would. How about, uh, Basil toot? That was a good one. Basil toot or, um, Michael Wilson at the Rams. I'd go Wilson and Peep here. Yeah. Carl Nell Tate. I would go toot. Yeah. Okay. Anyone want to start Marvin Harrison or just kind of wait and see. Wait and see. Wait and see, uh, these probably available in some 10 T leagues. If you play with Dave, you know, he's available in one. Um, I think just the hope would be is that you start to see, I mean, there was a video posted of him running routes and practice like, oh, look how much better he looks. Like I'm, you know, what he was tanking in Arizona to get out. Like it's going to be, it's going to be a better situation. You know, we'll, we'll see. This isn't a matchup that you should run away from. I think you should be encouraged by Harrison. If you have him and you're stuck this week, then start him in a through a serial league. But I would like to see what it looks like. I, I do kind of believe that like he just, like he was really, really unhappy in Arizona. I, I expect him to be a better route runner than he was the last couple of weeks. I think he was just fed up with that role. Uh, yes. He was definitely fed up with the cardio roll. I, I'm curious because of the comments. Like, did Jeremiah love see this unfold and just be like, I'm, I'm not waiting three or like you get me out here. I hope not. I hope not. Okay. Let's talk about the tight ends to your real quick guys. I mean, you hope not. You got a, a Hall of Fame quarterback because of somebody wanting not to be in a place that they wanted, they didn't want to go. No, I just like it's, it would make me sad for the Cardinals to fly the two of their last three. They're a poorly run organization. Well, they're trying to change that. Yeah, you know, how? I have a, I don't know. They have a new coach and I don't know. Anyway, uh, Brent Strange, don't show us a guy they're sitting. Don't start him. Brent Strange or Harold Phanna, Jr. Strange. Strange. Strange. Brent Strange or Pat Freyrmouth. Heathie said you love Pat Freyrmouth. Moose. It's another one I've gone back and forth on. Match up is definitely better for Freyrmouth, but not by much. So, uh, if you want to go Freyrmouth, I have no problem with that. Brent Strange or Johan Johnson. Johnson. Yeah. All right. Uh, all right. So you can start Brent Strange. She's a solid start, but uh, don't start, don't start Dalton Schultz. Which DST do you like better? Texans. Yeah. See questions from the chat and we'll move on from this game. The left tackle is you could be huge. Woody Marx or Marshawn Lloyd. Marx. Yep. Lawrence or Purdy. Purdy. Oh, Purdy. Yeah. Parker Washington or Mike Evans. Evans. Evans. Parker Washington are either starting Packer's wide receiver both Packers Watson Parker golden but that's all close Yeah, I don't think you have to really get away from From Parker Washington right right now the Texans are giving up the second most fantasy points to wide receivers We expect them to be better than they would what they've been but he's plays in the slot He moves around like he's not his best offensive players. Yeah, I don't think it's close Trevor Lawrence or Kirk cousins I'll go cousins me too. We definitely like Jordan love over him. Would he marks her braille and Allen? We like braille and Allen Yep, what he marks her Jalen Waddle marks Yep Parker Washington or a Mondrae Stevenson Remondrae if there's no Henderson Parker if there's Henderson. Sure, okay All right moving on to our next game here and that would be Pittsburgh Tampa Bay, but moving on to our next commercial break We'll be back with six more aFC home games. Although Tampa Bay is not an aFC home game I get it, but they have an aFC opponent so that game and five aFC home games after this We're back here. We go Pittsburgh Tampa Bay and Aaron Rogers versus Kirk cousins you guys appear to be on the cousin side now Yeah, oh, yep, wonderful. Yeah, so Rogers three straight amazing games in a row Tampa Bay 10th best against quarterbacks and and Joe borough struggle Jordan love struggle Dak Prescott struggled now. Did they struggle? Did they just not put up big numbers? That's a separate question, but they didn't put up big numbers So Rogers very very low a dot last week More conservative game plan. I didn't love seeing that he benefited from the Warren touch and run He benefited from two defenders colliding with each other that left pat fryer me with open for his second touchdown All right, well anyway, it wouldn't be surprising if it's the same thing. I mean you got a blitzing a defense here And potentially a low scoring offense. So you might have another conservative week out of the Steelers And you just have to hope that the touchdowns are there I think just Rogers is playing so well right now. McCarthy's got a good game plan. Good structure The really the question I think when you start to eat you know Rogers Comparing him to cousins or Lawrence or Stroud or these guys. You know, that's where he belongs You know, so whether you want to make a transaction to pick up Rogers and drop wherever you have he's a great biweek replacement If you don't have borough or golf. I think that's obvious I'm just curious like what happens to Warren if doubt will come back to me. That's the biggest question for the Steelers Yeah, well, what do you think I assume doubtals? I assume he's gonna be back I'm you know, it seems like he's getting there and They said that Jalen Warren's earned more of a role But he's not gonna have as many touches as he's had so you know, you're talking about a top five guy Without doubt all is he still top 10 is he still stop top 15 again? you're not sitting him in any scenario unless you have B. John Robinson and Tube a Hubbard maybe I don't know you know that those those type of guys Hubbard might be the only one that you consider over him if doubtals there so I you know, I took I took matter. I'm sorry. Just a matter of like how how I'll finish. I'm sorry No, it's okay. I took 10% basically off of Warren's workload with the expectation that doubtals working his way back if Dallow gets a full practice. Maybe I'll take another five to 10% off but that's still 15 to 17 touches and He's been so incredibly efficient that I think he's probably for me going to be somewhere between Seventh and tenth and the running back rankings. You're not gonna drop him below ashton jente braille and Alan I'm not gonna drop him below Bucky Irving in the same game He's he's a top 12 running back even if doubtable place And four running backs already have five catches against the bucks for what it's worth so I don't know I mean, it's a theory of mine. I don't have any hard evidence, but you blitz a lot It makes sense to throw to the running back in that situation, right? So get the ball out quickly and try to beat the defense like that This is definitely a Rogers not that he doesn't do his all-time, but run the clock down try and figure out where the boots is coming from Yeah, it's gonna be a slow game for them. So what about the receivers? Do you like Bernard or Metcalf this week and or and a book I throw a book in there. I don't think we're gonna start Chris Godwin, but Bernard Metcalf a book a heath. How do you rank them? So I think I'm not might be the highest on Bernhard and Metcalf, but I would go Metcalf Bernhard Ebuca Metcalf's a number two wide receiver Bernhard and Ebuca are a number three wide receivers No, great. I have Metcalf and Bernhard back to back 2425 and Ebuca's like right around 30 31 You got lucky last week with the rushing touchdown, you know nine targets was fantastic That's against Dallas. He had six catches for 38 yards, you know So you like to see that type of involvement. I'd love to see if you were you know opportunities down the field You are talking about the Steelers defense versus the Cowboys defense the pressure is gonna be much different for Jalen Daniel So I just don't think you should have high expectations So one of the receivers will probably make a play last week We saw it was Tess Johnson, you know getting the Broken play and getting the big play down the field, you know, that's kind of what Daniels is gonna try to do be my guess I think this is a game where the Steelers are probably playing with a lead I don't know how big of a lead and then we see this, you know, box off on what it looks like to me the only safe start for Tampa is Buck here, I I said on Sunday morning stream that if I'm grumpy It's going because I started so many guys like I had so many tough lineup decisions and I started the wrong guy If I'm grumpy this coming Sunday night, it's because Jeremy Bernard was was like not involved or really bad because I Haven't calculated it, but I think I may have spent like $3,000 in fab on Jeremy Bernard this week I'm heavily invested. Please be good. Yeah, I mean, I feel like everyone on Pittsburgh is a tough call except Warren I don't know how you get well I can see you getting Warren out of your lineup because you would you drafted him to be your number three or number four running back So you have difficult decisions with him and now Dowdell is probably coming back, but we just don't know what's you're not that no I mean you're not benching him, but there's certainly a scenario where I mean you could have I think I think I have Well, I think he's my number three running back on a team because I just happened to get lucky in that record and no flex I know I'm starting him. I don't know what the scenario would be, but Basically that I don't I don't really like I'm starting Pat Frymer with over almost everybody But it's because I think they're using him more as their third-wide receiver and now with Only having really two wide receivers that usage might even go up more of a 60% of his snaps. He's lined up in the slaughter out wide Yeah, he just is a wide receiver. He finally the last week was Pat Frymer's first week with a target share over 13% I think And like I kind of made this point that the the guys on the on the Steelers have really benefitted from them throwing so much if they don't throw so much They could be flops like especially against the box who just have been pretty solid against the pass So all right, let's see what the chat has to say on the buck side of the ball You know, is there any hesitation with Bucky Irving? No, no, okay, like how do you compare Bucky with Beijel Tudon and Woody Marks? Better he's better. All right, so he's going to be started coming off that great game and again if Sean Tucker not trade Tucker if Sean Tucker This is the game that takes away an obstacle Abuka, yeah, Buka is where let's check where Buka is in 30-ish He is 29th for Jamie 31st for Heath Davis is the high guy on a Buka at 20 30 He had a lot of targets last week. He had a rushing touchdown as well And Kay Dodd and if you're desperate, they involve him a lot, but not I don't know Maybe that's more of a Baker Mayfield thing. All right, so here comes the chat questions Jeremy Bernard or meko Buka Bernard Bernard Loveland or Friar Muth Muth Friar Muth Friar Muth or pits Muth yep, to Leo McLaughlin or Kennedy Kenny or Kenneth Gainwell A lot of moving parts there, but probably McLaughlin is the easiest answer. Yeah Rodgers Winston or Daniel Jones Rogers I agree. Warren or Swift So that's that's one where Warren will fall behind Swift to doubt a place unless Menolga comes back That's for me. Yeah, Kendri Miller probably Warren. He did not crack. Uh, Menolga did not practice Kendri Miller or Chris Godwin Miller Yeah Jeremy Bernard Jalen Waddle or Luther Burton half PPR Burton Yeah, you like Bernard overwaddle Yes, I do not they're back to back. I think Metcalf born or down's PPR Okay, Metcalf come on man like he's get it going here Bucky or Stephen he was going and then last week happened He was going. Yeah, he got two two long catches on like the last drive of their second last drive of the game against Cleveland Which was nice to see um, but again, that's what I mean last week's like a five yard A dot for Aaron Rogers That's terrible for Metcalf Bucky or Stevenson Uh, right now Stevenson, but it will be Bucky of Henderson place. I've got Bucky either way Pittsburgh's DST is worth starting Tampa Bay allows the most fantasy points DSTs Baltimore of Cleveland. I don't have a stat of the game. I have a profile of the game I want to talk more about Denzel Boston because he keeps coming through for the most There are 61 receivers with 20 or more targets Denzel Boston ranks first in yards per catch out of 61 receivers with 20 or more targets He ranks fifth in yards per target Here are the guys ahead of Denzel Boston in yards per target Drake London, Zae Flowers Christian Watson Jackson, Smith and Jitba. You know who he is He's out. He's out. He's Alec Pierce. He's Alec Pierce a little bit. Yep. He's got a 16.5 yard A dot and he also has a 16.5% target per route run rate. That's the most concerning thing for him. He has a 20% target share, which is okay. The target per route run rate doesn't matter all that much with him because he's one of the few receivers who runs almost every single route. But his three touchdowns, Denzel Boston's three touchdowns this year, 46, 55, and 29 yards out. I'm painting the picture of a guy who is coming through for you in fantasy most weeks, but makes me nervous as hell. He has a terrible profile for fantasy. But every week, it seems like Dishonel Watson will throw one incredible pass in the end zone on a deep ball to Denzel Boston. So I start or sit, Jamie Denzel Boston. I'm starting him. Again, four teams on a buy, all the injuries at the position. Maybe he sees a slight uptick in targets if Concepcion doesn't play. This feels like chasing points, throwing the ball late in the game, which has happened to him twice. So look, at some point, you just have to say, "Luck, yes, is it going to stop at some point?" Sure. But how many times you get stared and I'm sitting on your bench and say, "I wish I started Denzel Boston." So you start to compare him to Jalen Waddle, for example, who's been struggling or DK Metcalfs that you like him better than the Steelers, guys? Yeah. Okay. Heath? I think there's like a million moving parts for Denzel Boston. Does Concepcion play, does Quinshon Judkins play, and one maybe people aren't thinking about, does Lamar Jackson play? Could I think this line has moved quite a bit with positive reports that Lamar Jackson could come back this week. If Tyler Huntly is starting, I don't think this is a five-and-a-half point spread. And I don't think the Ravens implied point total is near as high against the Browns defense. And if the Ravens don't have a lead, then I don't think there's a lot of Dishon Watson, Yolo Bulls in the second half. So right now, I have Boston just behind the Steelers White receivers, just a head-up, Josh Downs, Ameca, Buka, and Terry McClaurin. I think he's like that profile you described is the profile of the boom bus number three wide receiver that we talk about. He's boomed a few times. He could bust any week. He could boom again this week. Yeah. The easy ones in this game, Derek Henry is easy. There's not that many. Zay Flowers is pretty easy. He's the cinch of Lamar Jackson plays. He scored 14.9 fantasy points last week with Tyler Huntly, Tyler Huntly having one of his better games. It's basically last three games with Tyler Huntly. It's been the exact same thing except last week he had the 19 yard rush. He's going to get you 13 points probably. But he also had a chunk play, probably like a 15 yard catch that they took off. They they accepted a pass. Oh, longer than I was like 20 something. Yeah. They accepted a pass in her appearance penalty, which you don't. I can sway the bet. You don't really see. I know. I was just thinking. I was like, Oh, I hope to God that the bet is decided on that play. You don't see a team like take away stats from their player, but it was on their game tying drive. It was it was like a deep pitch. And the penalty was five yards further than the catch. So it made sense. It was great. So anyway, I'm sure there are people who lost their fantasy game because of that. Yeah. Well, it wasn't me. So start head restart flowers at worst. That's like top 15 guy better if from our Jackson plays. Mark Andrews or Harold fan in junior fan. Okay. Yeah, I got this theory about the Ravens defense. They remind me of the bills last year, but they don't a lot of teams are very content to just give up short passes and then make the tackle. They are not. They try to cover this from what I saw anyway. They try to cover those guys and they allow the fourth lowest completion percentage, six lowest yards per attempt on air yards on the past attempts of seven or fewer areas or zero to seven or yards, which is where tight ends live. Terrible, terrible, Harold fan instead. He had a 24% target per route run last year. It's 17% this year. Wow. That's like that's just not. If you're not unless you're in a really good offense, that's not a starting tight end. Yeah, that's stinks. But he had had three good games in a row before I died against the jet. He's the touchdown or busts tight end right now. And thankfully the tight end position has been good enough. We don't start touchdown or bust tight ends. True. I guess we don't start. Mark Andrews either. All right. So then the last thing here would be, well, first of all, it's Sean Watson and interesting Sean Watson. No, not with all the other guys. Like James is roster and less leagues. I rather start James. I think he's in a similar range as James, but James has been a lot better lately. What did he give me a rundown of how you're treating the Cleveland running backs? Oh, boy. So we're not expecting Judkins to play right now. And so I have Julio McLaughlin like right around RB 30, which is pretty bad this week because once you get past the top 18 running backs, it's just pretty gross. He might go up a little bit if Judkins is ruled out, but he's probably going to score around 10 PPR fantasy points. This team has thrown the ball. Like you mentioned, I think it was McLaughlin versus Kenneth Gainwell. Rehears standards, I think, has been better than Kenneth Gainwell. So even if Judkins plays, McLaughlin might be better than Kenneth Gainwell. Because they've thrown it to their running backs a lot. If Judkins is out, then I think Audric Estimates probably going to handle more early downwork than we want him to. And McLaughlin will steep be in that RB 30 range. If Judkins plays, put him in the Elmari and Hampton range, and hope. So just one more name. I'm expecting Judkins to sit. I would love to see Dylan Samson get healthy and be the guy because I think he can play on passing down. They don't have to take him off the field. So none of these guys are great rushers. And so if they give Samson the opportunity to play 70% of the snaps. But he didn't practice it all yesterday, right? He did not. But the fact that they're talking about opening his window, again, it's hope. So if we're talking about no Judgids and the choices are Samson, McLaughlin and Estimate, I want to see Samson. Adam, I think a good offseason study for you. This seems like something you'd be really good at. Is like my, from what I'm remembering, the practice window being open usually means the players two to three weeks away. Yeah. I want, I want to know how many times the practice window has been open and the guys played that week. Okay. Well, well. Well, Jacob Elaine, also another one that sounds like he's trying in the right direction. I'm trying to think this happened at all this year. And I, I think there's a difference between the practice window opening for the pop list versus IR. Same, same time frame. I have to not be saying it's 21 days, but usually the IR guys are coming back from something that happened in season. And they're probably a little bit more ahead, far ahead. I don't know. All right. Let's read some questions. Your Boston, Burden or Woody marks. Woody. I would go with Woody. Judgins or Dobbins. If Judgins, well, you're not going to, that's a Thursday night or he got to go Dobbins. Got to play Dobbins. Fanon or Higby. Higby. I've got Fanon. Flowers or Parker Washington. Flowers. It's a little more Jackson thing. I've got flowers. Just one spot ahead with Huntly. So I'm going flowers either way. Jamie, you go, you go flowers if the more flowers either way. Oh, you said flowers. It owns it. Boston or craft? Boston. That's a good one. I have, I've got craft. Ravens DST or Seahawks DST. Seahawks. Yeah. Ravens have been a bad DST. Ravens or Niners? Ravens for me. I'll go Niners, I think. Vale or Jacobi Lane, if he plays this week, I go Vale. Yeah. Yeah. McGlofflin or Kendrick Miller or Wondale Robinson. Wondale's floor is very safe at 11 ppr points. Three games in a row. Miller would be the easy choice for me if there is no Camara. I'll go Wondale or Miller. I'll go Wondale, probably. Yes, I agree, Miller, if Camara is out, but we've got a partial practice on Wednesdays. I'm expecting him. Here's my last question about this game. Is there another Cleveland wide receiver you'd be interested in like conception of plays? No. Because I would be. I mean, he had eight to nine targets in two straight games before last week. I mean, 11 ppr points if that's what you're looking for sure. I think I'd start him over McGlofflin. Yeah. Yeah. It's like Wondale. All right. Jetsit Patriots. Don't disrespect Wondale. Do you want to know the history of Garrett Wilson versus Christian Gonzales back in 2024? Looks like Gonzales shadow was watching the targets in most some of the routes. Gonzales pretty much shadowed him in like week two or something like that. And he had five catches, 33 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. So he struggled. The second time they played Devonte Adams was on the team and Gonzales shadowed Devonte Adams and Garrett Wilson had a huge game, 113 yards. I would not be surprised if Gonzales did a really good job on Garrett Wilson. So again, if I don't have Garrett Wilson, but I would start him, but it just have to bring that up. We talked about that earlier during one question for each game. Braylon Allen is a top 17 running breath back, but Ramondra Stevenson's even better than that. Stevenson is 12 top 14 for everyone between 11 and 14. He's just behind Chuba Hubbard. he's right there with Bucky Irving, he's behind DeAndre Swift, what are the tough calls in this game? Because we're going to sit Gino. There are actually some tough calls, definitely Drake May for sure. Let's say AJ Brown does not play, Jamie, how do you feel about the Patriots wide receivers? Listen, somebody's going to play, give you something. And I wish that there was, here's why it's going to be this guy. So last week, it was two touchdowns for DiMario Douglas, it was a touchdown for Kyle Williams. It was, huh? He lost that match up again. You just made me think about Yolo again. Sorry. I love DiMario Douglas. I love him. He's awesome. Yeah. It was, you know, Chism with six targets and five catches, whatever it was. He's got back to back weeks with kind of that, he's the new Malik Washington. So if, like, we're just ranking them as flexes, I would say Hunter Henry is one, then I would go Chism to Douglas three, I'm sorry, I would go Henry one, dobs two, Chism three, Douglas four, Williams five, but it was the first game without Matt Collins too. So. Yeah, and he's on I or now. Yeah. So it's really just a dark throw. So that league where I referenced where I'm down like a bunch of receivers, I picked up DiMario Douglas, it's bottom of the barrel just somebody with a pulse and hopefully he comes through. That is bottom of the barrel right there. Which quarterbacks are you starting over Drake May? Jordan Love? Yes. I may hire, but that's close. Yeah. Drake May is the top five guy. You start it. All right. Hunter Henry is not like a slam dunk start here. Would you start Hunter Henry or who do we just talk about? We had fan it in Mark Andrews. Henry over those guys, but moods and strange over Henry, he's, he's, you know, back to back games with 11 PPR points one touchdown over that span. He, the Jets have actually done a pretty good job against tight ends. You know, I know it's not like, oh, they're great because of this player, that player. But they are doing a good job containing the position, the irony of all that is that Aaron Glenn is defending the position well, but his former team cannot come close to it. So I think if you, you know, kind of been riding Henry for the last couple of weeks as you're, you know, the fact that a streamer keep, keep him. But if you could pick up for our move or I like kick, be better and, and, and a strange as well. Okay. And then, yeah, very now, and like I said, he's a, he's a really solid number two running back. The Patriots run defense has not quite been what it was last year, not even close. Last week, maybe a step in the right direction. Well, their run defense is still decent. Their fantasy production allowed has been dramatically different. I mean, last year they were the best run defense in the NFL when they, yeah, it's not, it's not the same thing. But even close to that, but it's not, it's certainly not a good matchup, but they do allow the fifth most receiving yards for game. They're running backs. We'll see if they can get Braille and Allen involved there. That hasn't really been the case. Well, he had four targets last week and only one catch from New York. That's true. He had a drop. He was open in space. Had a drop in the rain. Giants, DST or Jets, DST from the chat. No, go get the Colts. If this is the best you have, I guess I probably go giants. I would get me to, but not, yeah, but I don't want to do that. Sit one. Braille and Allen, DeAndre Swift or Emmanuel Wilson. Wilson. Braille. Patrick, what homes are Drake, may, may. Remondre, Emmanuel Wilson or Braille and Allen. Who's your favorite? Remondre. Yep. Our Remondre's top 12 right now. We're right around there. Where are you going to rank them if Traveon plays 14, 15, 18. Azer loves shadow receivers and who's the goal I'm back? Yes, I do. I love them. I love it. I love it. Number one corner back going up against the number one receiver. It's one of my favorite things in. We don't get it as much as we really don't. What we do with Christian Gonzalez, they don't mess around most of the time with him. He, he shadows. Adam is way smarter than Dan. That is complete. I have no idea what the context is. I just saw it and I put a star next to it. Thank you. Henry or. Hey, Sam, can we show that tomorrow on the mail by please? Yeah. Get Dan's commentary. I, I'd like, I think next year's competition should just be an IQ test. Oh my God. Adam would kill him. No, I don't think so. Dan's very smart. But I, I do think I did better on the SATs. I will, you know, let's just go back to that. I don't want to take an IQ test. Henry or craft. I think our production staff would much rather do an inside IQ test and set up for tennis again. Um, craft from me. Last one. Braille, pick two. Braille and Alan, Emmanuel Wilson, Julio McLaughlin and Basel Tutten. Wilson and Tutten for me. Alan and Tutten for me. All right. And that's it for this game. Let's see. We got Tennessee Indianapolis. Sorry. Let's keep you all waiting. It's the best for last. No, I got, I got two more after because I do. I'm one. I think we get. Well, looking, I don't do it by like best game. I do it by tough calls. All right. Buffalo Las Vegas is super easy. And then the last game is Kansas City and the Chargers. That's pretty easy too, right? This game is kind of tough, actually, with Josh down. So even Tony Pollard, right? Tony Pollard to bounce back, um, Wondale and Carnell Tate and actually there may not be a single must start in this game other than Taylor, oh, Tyler Warren. But there are a lot of guys that I think we're going to get questions about. So Heath, how do you see it? Like Taylor, obviously, Tyler Warren, obviously, there's a lot of fringy guys. Who do you like? Um, well, Taylor and Warren are the guys that we like. I think my, my next favorite guy in full PPR would be Tate and then Pollard and then Downs and then Wondale who, but unfortunately, they're kind of the same guy. Um, but yeah, it's, it's in that range. I've seen some people maybe wanting to stream Daniel Jones. I don't really love that. Um, I think you're probably going to end up starting Tony Pollard this week unless you just found gold on the waiver wire. Well, you got Praline Allen, right? You got, obviously, Jalen Moore, you start Praline Allen over Tony Pollard, I assume. I would. How about me? Yeah, I, I, I think the, the tough calls for Pollard would be March on Lloyd because of just where he's at and touch down potential, um, in terms of waiver wire guys, Damien Pierce. You know, what about what he marks? I would start marks over him, but I would do. I would. I have more of like the, the lower tiered waiver wire guys. So, and if for whatever reason, you know, Camara doesn't make it through a full practice, but back in your, you made, like he said, he may play, but he may not be a hundred percent in Kendra Miller. I guess the giants, there's, to me, more of a pass catching role for Tony Pollard, but not significantly more, especially after what we saw last week than Kendra Miller, then Miller may score touchdown against the Giants because that's what happens. I, man, I've had such a hard time with the Kendra Miller thing because he did score touchdown. But do you know that C.J. Donaldson, Lid, Saints, running backs and snaps? Yeah. I mean, yeah, they, they couldn't do anything offensively though. So it's hard to, like, you throw that game up. No. Well, it's the only reason we might start Kendra Miller. Well, the giants are the reason why the Colts are terrible against running backs, too. The Colts give up 4.7 yards for Kerry. So, to backs, they're giving up the six most fantasy points at the most receiving yards per game to running backs, which might be why Dave likes Ty J. Spears a little bit more than you guys do this week. But if you look at who the Colts have played, they were bad against Derek Henry. They're bad against Kenneth Walker. They were bad against Jalen Moran. They were good against Houston guys. They were good against the Washington guys. And Tony Pollard is closer to Houston in Washington than he is to Henry Walker and Jalen Moran. And he's in the middle. But, you know, Pollard, he has, what, 14, 17, 16 carries in his last three games. No. And then 14 again. So 14 or more in four straight games for Tony Pollard, I believe. In most weeks, he'd be a flex this week. He's right around 20th. I think you're just looking at it as comparing him to, did you, did you need to make a roster move to go get Damien Pierce or to go get Kendra Miller or to go get Jalimogoff? I'm like, that's dependent on what you, you know, have done the rest of your bench. I think Pollard is serviceable. I just don't think he's league winner without finding the end zone. He could easily score, you know, but the thing about Spears last week, he had five catches coming into the, the, the game. He leaves with nine on nine targets for fewer than 30 yards. So it's not like you're talking about a, like, this was, this was the, the poster child performance for why people hate PPR. Yeah. Do you think that, um, car and L Tate is better than, uh, who we've been talking about. Like, you wouldn't start car and L Tate over Garrett Wilson or anything, but you'd start to over Josh Downs. Yeah. I started over the steers state. Okay. Yeah. Steelers guys, Heath would start them over them. Jamie, how about you? Tate versus Steelers guys? Yeah. I, for me, I, I started the Steelers guys, but they're essentially it's DK Bernard and Tate back to back to back. So, you know, two solid games for carnal Tate where he looked like he was starting to build towards something and then has this back injury, which I think could be the reason why he struggled last week. Um, I don't know how, I, I, I like to see a little bit more consistency. And if you're just talking consistency, Wanda Robinson has been more consistent than carnal Tate. You know, so there's easy, there's an argument to be made that Wanda is the best receiver in this game. So, uh, I would still take Tate. I think there's more upside yet to score touchdown. They're probably not going to be made touch on opportunities is based on how can work struggles. So I know they can slam down for carnalty. All right, Tennessee by the way, if you look at Josh Downs, Tennessee is allowed, and Keenan Allen, they've allowed six year more yards to six wide receivers in five games. So that's not bad. Take that from Josh Downs. Let's see if we have any, oh my gosh, we have a lot of Adam versus Dan potential competition. I'll read those at the end of the show, but Tate or AJ Brown, if he plays, Brown, I'll probably have Tate. Pollard Kendrick, born or Dylan Samson. Pollard, stop between Pollard and born. I probably go Pollard. If you start, let's see, looking for this game here, Keenan Allen, Jalen Waddle, Jeremy Bernard, who sits down. Adam is way better at everything than Dan. Thank you very much. Tate or Waddle, did we just do that one? Tate, Tate, Waddle, Keenan Allen or Godwin, we're going to go with, oh yeah, so Waddle, Keenan Allen or Godwin, Waddle, right? Yep, and Pollard or Bill. Pollard. Downs or Obuca? Downs. I think the one thing just to keep an eye on with both Downs and Keenan Allen. Like, you know, Downs, two very solid games, the first two without, or the game where Alex Pierce got hurt and then the next game afterwards. And then two disappointing ones last week, is it because he can't handle being the one? We'll see. Keenan Allen, two games without Alex Pearce, he missed one. Nine targets on both those games. All right, Buffalo and Las Vegas. Let's go. Can we do five minutes for the last two games? I think we can do it. Yeah. Start Allen, start Cook. Starters it, Concade. So he's behind the streaming guys from me this week, behind Strange, behind Firemouth, behind Higby. I do think there is reason to go back to him. He did get a lot of questions for Joe Brady this week about why Concade's usage has been so poor. This from the Bill's media. And he talked about got to do a better job getting him more involved. So you could get this weeky-will game here. The Raiders thinking against that. And so there is an opportunity here to to hope for bounce back. But I would, the way that I would approach it is if I have Concade and I picked up one of these guys, I would start the other player and just keep Concade on the bench with the hope that this is the, you know, get back to getting him back on track. I wonder if he might be better if DJ Moore's back. Like they just don't have anybody else to defend. Like, I don't encade your biggest concern in the passing game if there's no DJ Moore. It felt like the, the Rams game was, let's not take chances with this receiving core against his defense. Like that's just the, the, the, the way it felt. And so conservative for Josh Allen, he ran for over 100 yards. Like, I know he's got that in his bag, but I can't imagine that's what Joe Brady and Josh Allen want to do on a week-to-week basis. So. Yeah, if DJ Moore plays, I'll start him. Jamie, if DJ Moore doesn't play, and I'll talk what's up at the Raiders with Heath, but if DJ Moore doesn't play, are you going to key on Coleman to secure or just avoiding or what? I would start key on Coleman in three or three really because I don't think you can make a case for either of the two guys to be started in two receiver leagues. But again, four teams on a buy with a lot of big-name time receivers missing and a lot of injuries at the position. He had, I think it was like, I don't know, 30 yards worth of receptions taken away from penalty. So not a huge game, but you tack that on with the touchdown and maybe another catch or two, and then you're talking about 12 to 15 PPR points. So this is a much easier matchup. I mean, again, we just talked about what the Patriots did. Three touchdowns combined from Kyle Williams and Demarro Douglas. So, key on Coleman's got an opportunity here. You kind of got a little lucky with the, where he's got unlucky with the tackle, but lucky with the Goliol Shakira play at the end of the game, three for 80. You know, you take that away. It's a pretty miserable performance, but he's capable more as well. So I think this is a better throwing game for Buffalo than what we saw last week. And that should lend to the past catchers, the three main ones, at least if DJ Moore's not there, of King Cade, Coleman, and Shakira being more involved. So not anything with a certainty. You know, I picked up Coleman in a few leagues where I need to start him in three or six really. Keith, let's talk about the Raiders and Ash and Gentie real quick. So Gentie, you're starting Ash and you'll do. Well, I mean, yeah, you could be, but he's been pretty brutal. And you know, that in full PPR, he really hasn't in that bad, but he hasn't been great. I think he's RB 12. All right. So I was going to say, like, you like the Steelers receivers, you're like Carnell Tate, is like kind of number two. You're starting Ash and Gentie. Gentie over them. All right, Ramondra or Gentie? Gentie for me. Ramondra for me. It will be Gentie if Anderson plays. Raelin Allen or Gentie? Gentie. Gentie. I'm doing it right now. I am dropping Aaron Rodgers for Kirk Cousins in one league. Emma start Rodgers over Cousins in the other league. I'm going to split it. There you go. All right. You guys are Cousins right around 12. I see the appeal. Every quarterback beats up on the bills. Their past defense isn't good. They score a lot of points. They make you throw. I am a little nervous about the pressure rate because the bills can get pressure on the quarterback. The Raider's offensive line has not been very good the last two weeks. Kirk Cousins even talked about that post game. Said the Patriots got a lot of pressure on him and that certainly affected him. But every quarterback is thrown at least 34 times against the bills. And not only that Kirk Cousins, he scored the most fantasy points of any quarterback against the Chargers this year by far. The most fantasy points of any quarterback against the Chiefs this year by far. The most fantasy points of any quarterback against the Saints this year by far. And the Saints have also faced Jared Goff and they faced Lamar Jackson, granted without, say, flowers. So Cousins has had a good season, struggled last week. Let's bounce back Kirk Cousins. Start Brock Bowers, Michael Mayor or Dalton Kinkade. Kinkade. Kinkade. And trade Tucker is like a dart throw. Who's the best wide receiver in this game if DJ Moore does not play? Coleman. It'd be Tucker for me, but they're all the same flex is who and where would you rank DJ Moore if he does play? Gets in a full practice probably around 20. Partial practice probably closer to 28. I would guess at this point though they're probably going through to them. They have their buy next week. So the fact that he didn't even go throw walkthrough is not encouraging. Heath, would you start any chargers? If lad gets back and is healthy, then yes. Are we gonna be able to go off and over a chargers running back Hampton? I would I'm still gonna start Hampton over McLaughlin. How about Damien Pierce? If Park is out. Pierce for sure. You saw the report that if they fire McDaniel, who the coordinator is going to be right? Oh, is it case? Yeah. No. That'll be good. Yeah, Maconkey. You think it'll be a top 24 receiver if he plays? Because of full practice. The Chiefs allow the fewest fantasy points the wide receivers right now. They have not faced good competition though, but they did great against Waddle. That's pretty much that's pretty much it. If Maconkey's out, who is the sleeper if anyone? Yeah. Johnston? That's so many Johnston plays. Yeah. I mean, I think their next best receiver is Mark Valdescalie. Yeah. Charlie Kohler or revenge game. This is a disaster. Seventh for Jamie. Fourth for Dave. Tenth for Heath. Why the confidence in Mahomes, Jamie? Well, this is with Rice playing. If Rice is out, then he'll drop probably close to 12 and I might start Kirk Cousins over him. But I would still start him. His history, recent history versus long-term history coming off by weeks is much different. He does have a very good average in his career coming off by weeks, but the last couple of seasons is not as good as you expect. I think this is a game where Mahomes is probably going to be theatrical because this is the game that he tours ACL, so just knowing the player and how he gets motivated would not be surprised if there's a moment or two where he's flexing in the end zone. I think there's still opportunities here. Again, we've seen very different versions of Mahomes so far this season, a couple games where he's run more than I expected. To me, this feels like a Kelsey game with or without Rice, so I think Kelsey's going to have a strong performance and do well. And then I have interest in Xavier Worthy. If there is no Rushy Rice, he's gotten two games. He's at two games this year with seven targets. He's been double-digit in PPR in both of them. Not huge performances when he scored a touchdown. So you're looking at no Thornton, that gives him a bump. If there's no Rice, I think he's a borderline top 24ers here. Kelsey is top eight for everybody. Chargers Lail, the ninth fewest fantasy points to tight ends. They've basically been really good other than against Tremac Bride. I don't know what the hell is going on with Travis Kelsey. He's got an 8.7% and 14.8% target share of the last two games. One of them was basically entirely without Rushy Rice, so I don't know. It's not encouraging after an encouraging start to the season, but I think that's going to be Kelsey. I think he's going to be pretty up and down this year. And Chiefs DST, Jamie loves them. Heath does not. Heath is like fine with them. I picked him up in a league. They've been great against Denver and Miami. Terrible against the Colts and the Raiders. So good match up certainly for them. And let's see if I have any questions here for this game. We've got Hampton or Damien Pierce. I think I asked that right. Pierce. Pierce. I'm the guy. Pierce. - Bad or downs? - It'd be loud if he plays. - Yep. - Kendri Miller or Hampton? - I think I have them back to back right now with Hampton once bought ahead. So, Camera's injury situation will determine if that changes. - Yep. - Bernard, Jeremy Bernard or Lad Maconkey? - Be lad if he plays. - Yep. - Lad or Valle rest of season? - Oh god. - Lad. - Lad. - Lad. - Yeah, I mean, you got Jordan Tyson coming at some point, right? So. - Yep. - Hopefully. - All right, that's pretty much it. That's pretty much it. Thank you all for watching and listening. It's a fantasy football today. Tomorrow we've got the NFC home games and we also have a beat the waiver wire express episode coming up later today. Dan and Adam in a rap battle. Dan and Adam in the Wonderlick singing. - Oh, that's a good one. That's what we're doing. - Which one, the Wonderlick? - Yeah, the Wonderlick. - Okay. Shadowing each other on 10 routes. Doritos eating competition. This one. - I think we're not doing it. - I mean, we should start to. I mean, is there any reason why we can't just start taking donations now for next year? - No, I don't think so. - So I think we should just do like a weekly mail back challenge. Like we donate, we designate 10 minutes every mail back to Wonderlick, IQ test, Doritos eating contest. Like, this is easy. - I like this one a lot. Some sort of cooking competition and Jamie Dave and Heath are the judges. - If you think for a second, I'm eating anything that you or Dan make it crazy. - We could be to make at least one thing that you'd like. - I'd like, yes, try, no. - Trust, no chance. - Yeah, no way. - No, I think Dan can actually cook. I think he'd beat me in that. All right, we'll talk to you tomorrow, everybody. - Dan, it looks ordering an Italian sandwich somewhere. - What'd you say? - Dan can cook by ordering an Italian sandwich. - Ha! - And Clevver invented it. All right, we'll talk to you tomorrow. See ya. (upbeat music) - Paramount podcasts. twist now streaming on Paramount Plus.

FAQs

Jordan Love, Ramon Dre Stevenson, and Jalen Coker are highlighted as top starts by Jamie and Dave. Heath recommends Braylon Allen and Pat Freyermuth as strong RB options, while Jalen Coker is noted for his performance against a weak secondary.

The Eagles vs. Panthers game features a rare matchup where a team coming off an international game plays against a team coming off a bye. This has only happened four times in NFL history and may impact line movement and team dynamics.

Travis Henderson had a limited practice session and may miss time. Sean Tucker is questionable with a quad injury and is likely to be inactive this week.

Marshawn Lloyd is considered a risky flex option due to poor rushing performance and usage in recent games. Roma Dunze should be avoided as he has limited targets and poor production, especially against a strong defense.

Kirk Cousins is viewed as a more pressured quarterback with inconsistent results, while Aaron Rogers is in strong form. The matchup is seen as high-risk, with Rogers potentially benefiting from a conservative game plan and aggressive defense.

Ashton Gentie is expected to have a strong start due to improved health and the Bills' run defense struggles. However, the overall matchup is tough, and running back production may be limited by defensive pressure.
