Week 6 Recap: Last Place Rams, Cheeky Stroud, Caleb is John Wick, AJ Browned Out, Cam Skattebust, and Mike McCarthy INJURED
2h 11m 14s
The episode analyzes key NFL games from Week 6, focusing on the Packers’ dominant win over the Cowboys, where officiating errors and a bizarre call reversal highlighted the game's chaos. Dallas’s offensive issues—lack of creativity, poor decision-making, and vulnerability to pressure—are contrasted with Green Bay’s disciplined, well-run offense and defensive dominance. The Rams are identified as a struggling team, plagued by injuries, special teams failures, and a lack of depth, despite strong offseason moves. CJ Stroud’s impressive performance with the Texans, including a 34-31 win in London, signals a major personal and team turnaround, while Kenneth Walker’s breakout with the Chiefs elevates him as a game-changing force. Meanwhile, fantasy football activity was minimal, with no 30-point scorers since early 2025, reflecting a slow and uneventful slate. Other highlights include JJ McCarthy’s strong late-game impact with the Giants, the Patriots’ narrow win over the Jets despite losing five offensive linemen, and AJ Brown’s poor performance, including multiple dropbacks, raising questions about his readiness. Overall, the episode underscores a season of shifting dynamics, with several teams redefining their potential through coaching, player development, or improved execution, while others face mounting challenges that threaten their stability.
on today's episode, Dak and Dallas have lost their magic. The Rams need to regroupy. I don't know if you guys like that joke, but I love that joke regroupy. Jay Jim McCarthy is so back. Caleb Williams is inevitable says Caleb Williams on Instagram. Jim Nance maybe broke his wrist punching a football. I don't think he broke his wrist, but I do think he heard his hand and maybe broke a small bone. DK and I argued over whether he enjoyed the CEO's winning the Super Bowl. And we agreed to disagree. We did not. You were wrong. There was no agreeing on it. We definitely did not do that. All that at a lot more after the break. This episode is presented by Verizon. My name is Dan Evans and I'm joined by Daddy Kelly and Craig Coral back and we are going through all the games after week six of the NFL season. I'm going to start with Sunday night football. The Green Bay Packers should get two wins tonight, one for beating Dallas and one for beating the referees because D.K., what was your favorite botched call in the fourth quarter? Was it the fans of roughing the passer on Lucas Van Ness that undead the interception? Was that the one where he just pushed him over? Yeah. There was that's the soft. That was the softest one I've ever seen. Yeah. Yeah. The reason we know why that happened. It was 23 to 7 in the fourth. Did you make it all interesting? Rodge made the call, picked up the phone. I think Gidella has one big button on his desk and he gets to hit it once a game and if he hits it, they're like, all right, reverse that call. But this time he didn't notice it immediately. So he hit it like five times because then the cowboy, what Ryan flooring away just shoves the corner back backwards under his ass. They does a summer assault, catches a touchdown, not called. And my personal favorite, DeRond Land, obviously not intercepting a pass, but you could tell immediately because he didn't celebrate at all. Yeah, totally. Like you were, you could get a hundred percent of these calls right if you just watch the defensive back after the play. And then they do something that I'm positive has never happened before. Gidella hits the button. They do the expedited replay. They reverse it to the interception. Everyone is shocked. And then they immediately realize that they are wrong. And then they expedite review the expedited review and then reverse the reverse call all in the span of two minutes. I thought the refereeing was insane. And honestly, instead of the game by 35 minutes, when they reversed it, when when they called it an interception, even Toreco and Collinsworth were like, what? That can't be right. And then they reversed it again. And when I love it, I feel like, don't you guys think that Toreco and Collinsworth are being more open and critical of like the play calling and the wonkiness. And when reps get stuff wrong, I feel like they are much more casual now and kind of reflect like the viewer at home when a lot of other broadcasters are kind of too scared to do that, but they're so confident and comfortable now that they're like making fun of the game just as much as we are at home. It's good to hear. I like it. I think they're fun. How do you think the the mechanics of that actually went down where New York called it in? Was it like a situation where they just said, oh, that's a pick. We got to reverse that. And then they watched it another time they're like, actually, never mind. Hold on. It's not a pick. Like, how does that actually work? People are too conspiratorial. Now it's just, it's in competence. It's not just like, oh, shit, actually, hold on. They're just bad. They're just bad. And at some times it's old Ben watching small screens. And yeah, they jumped the gun. I was pretty shocking, but I will say the other shocking part of this. And again, the Packers beat the Cowboys pretty handily. So the final score of the game was 23 to 13. Frankly, if Matthew Golden or Christian Watson could have held on to some passes, this game should have been like 40 to 30. They would have scored 50. Yeah, DK, what is wrong with Dallas? And why can they not score? I don't know. When I was watching Dallas's offense, it was kind of the polar opposite of the of the Packers where everything looked really, really difficult for the Cowboys. Dac was constantly under pressure. He just didn't seem to understand where the pressure was coming from. He was making these errant throws. And then on the other side of the ball, if they, especially if they hadn't dropped a bunch of the passes, it just like Jordan Love was in control. He was lofting up passes. I like the thing about Jordan Love is that he, he can, he really takes some, like he puts touch on the ball more than almost any other guy. It feels like more than any other quarterback. He just, you know, set a lofted up and just drop it into his receiver sands. Sometimes that doesn't matter because Matthew Gold and I think dropped two touchdowns today. Christian Watson had one sort of drop, but it got deflected right before got to him. We like him so we won't get bad. Well, no, but that's different because it's like it hit, it was slightly deflected. And so therefore it's just much harder to catch that. But yeah, they should have had, Jordan Love should have had probably four touchdowns here. And it should have been a absolute blow. We probably would have been recording early fourth quarter. To me, if they would have catch, if they would have caught everything. To me, Dallas's offense just looks uncreative. Like it just looks like they're not doing a whole lot out there. It's like they go out in 11 personnel every single play and it's Flanora. It's pick ends. It's lamb. And they just like try to beat the corners and they try to hit slants and they try to hit, you know, deep balls to lamb and pick ends and it's like, if that's not working, and they just like put two safeties over the top, and they've been struggling. And I just feel like their offense has no unpredictability to it. It actually feels, even though the, because the talent level so high, like this is such an underperformance for what Collins Earth was talking about at the whole night, like what we see now in two weeks with Dallas, they we at 13 points tonight, it was really like seven and then what they did against Tampa last week. It just feels uncreative to me. I don't know who's going to win the NFC East. Well, the Giants obviously. The Giants, how many, if the Washington loses Monday night football, the Giants would have been punished for losing this week. I mean, the NFC, how many weeks in a row can the division go that winning? I, it's weird because Dak and the Cowboys, and this is a terrible game for them. And you go back, they couldn't really move the ball on Tampa Bay either and they couldn't really move the ball in week one against the Giants that well. And you're like, on one hand, this is like this elite prolific, efficient scoring machine. The only team they've really diced up though is Houston. And I just, what I don't get is how, and again, Jonathan Ganon, the Packers Defense Coordinator, and Matt LaFlaur, completely outcoached Dallas tonight. And really what this game reminded me of was the other Packers Cowboys game from the playoffs where they're, which, you know, kind of like, which one because the Packers always be Dallas and playoffs. But the Matt LaFlaur one where they jumped out to that like 40 point lead. And they beat the Cowboys like 40 to 23 or whatever. But remember, CD Lamb, like, couldn't get the ball in that game. And I just feel like even though that was a Mike McCarthy coach team, it felt like Michael Flurr, just, um, they're sorry, Matt LaFlaur, totally had Dallas's number in that playoff game. And that was kind of like this game where I don't understand why every time the Packers are blitzing, the numbers are so obvious that the Cowboys aren't going to be able to block the blitz. And yet Dak isn't, nope, isn't going to the right spots. And I don't get it because I feel like outside of Matt Stafford, I respect Dak's pre-stab and, you know, post-stab processing as much as any quarterback in the league. And they're just never doing the right thing. And I just, I, it looked like Green Bay was playing with 12 guys in the field in defense every day. Yeah. I think there, there's a real problem here. The Packer, the Cowboys do not have any balance. They can't run the ball. Um, and especially in this game, it just felt like they were really one dimensional. The Packers were able to kind of tee up on them. I usually think Dak is a really good quarterback, but he just wasn't that sharp in this one. And I think it's just as kind of the situation that the Cowboys require a Herculean effort from Dak Prescott if their offense is going to run well because they just don't have very much balance. They're, I don't think their run game is all that creative or were effective. And I don't know, it just, especially tonight, they just couldn't get anything going on the ground. Yeah. Tough with Michael Parsons chasing them around everywhere. I got love handled the blitz really nicely. And I thought that was like the difference in the night was the way that Dak handled the pressure versus how love handled the pressure because these teams are extremely similar. They both can't run the ball. They have two great receivers and one of like some of the better pocket passing quarterbacks in the league. And I thought love was really, really good tonight. Like under duress, like even when he's backing up where he was placing the deep balls was always like smart. And he can sometimes make bone headed plays, but Dak threw like, I don't know how many theoretical interceptions like for tonight. And love does a really good job of like balancing risk with with smart. And we've got to give the green bayman weeks ago. We were like, we thought they were dead. Yeah. They were like in line with like we were like Packers, Chargers, all these teams that are a complete mess. They've totally turned it around their foreign to the play calling. That's the biggest difference in tonight. Like Ganon in the floor versus Shotinheimer. Like and it's it was glaring to me. Were they like eight out of nine on their first nine, third down opportunities? I think they really on in the game. They were just like nails on third down. Pierre Strong was their leading rusher with 28 yards. That was what I kept thinking to Craig is like, who are all these players? The Savian Williams came in and was like a huge part of their offense randomly. I'm like, you gotta be careful. Pierre Strong. Yeah. Yeah. I totally agree with what you guys are saying.
And just the Packers offense tonight. I'm only a little wary because the Cowboys are like the defense. They're like a strip club. And we're like, wow, this guy's really popular with all these. No. They put up 31 on Chicago. Oh, I know. And Chicago's been playing well. Jordan loves playing fantastic. Matthew Goldener Watson, despite the second drop was really hard catch. It was the first drop for Golden was bad. Otherwise the Watson really should have touched. Golden has one bad drop of game now. He does, but it's also he had a hundred and six yards today. Matthew Golden is playing in critical. He's always open. Yeah. He's open. So Packers offense is great. And again, look at all the teams that we were like left for dead a few weeks ago that now look like they're totally in the thick of it. The Packers look like they're totally in the playoff hunt. You know what I mean? The Falcons were literally the worst team in the football through two weeks. And like, I mean, they almost did a 24 point comeback on the Falcons today. The Chargers are totally back in it. Like all these teams. I mean, Cleveland's four and two. Yeah. Chargers. Try to sneak that in. Yeah. Chargers are, I mean, hell, if they win 11 straight, they're back in it. 11 and six. Hey man. That could get it done. No. Green Bay. It is. I don't know what to make of this game because I. I think you have to give a lot of credit to Matt LaFlor, honestly. I feel like the play calling and working around their offensive line. Their offenses looked completely different the last three weeks. Yeah. I think it's a testament to coaching in terms of the way that a team starts. And as the season goes on, you start to see, you can see the coaches start to figure out ways to like mitigate some of their problems and, you know, improve on something because like at the beginning of the year, the Packers offense, especially their offensive line, it looked like it was a non-starter. You can't run an offense with this type of offensive line. They literally couldn't do anything. Yeah. And they've done a good job of, yeah, like making adjustments and finding the right combination of guys and just getting better. And I think Matthew Golden being what he's been over the last couple of weeks too is a huge factor for them. He's a huge playmaker for them. Even though he did have a couple of big jobs in this game, he's just, he's just so dangerous down the field. It opens things up for everyone else. I mean, he said 95 yards in the game four times this season in six weeks. Yeah. Big plays, stretch the field, speed, run after the catch. Shall we get to our winners and losers of the day? Who's your winner? Incorrect. I think the winner is people who skip football today, you know, we did our, we did have the sketch, the don't get divorce draft back in May. And there are certain weekends where we looked at the schedule and we were like, you know what, take this one off, go apple picking, go to the pumpkin patch, we're getting close to Halloween. And man, this was also the first like reduced slate of the year, really? This was like the first full buy week where the opening, there was a London game and then the opening slate only had seven games. And then the afternoon slate or the late slate for hyphids only had three games. And like DK Tech said halfway through the early slate and it was like, is this just like the most boring day of football that I can remember? I mean, there was just like no Jews across the board. I mean, both in real life and in fantasy, there's a couple of stats, not a single player got to 30 fantasy points in week six, which hasn't happened since the start of 2025. So that's like, you know, 22 weeks, this is like the slowest fantasy week in 22 weeks. It was just, it was just like, it was just slow all day. Yeah, looking around my leagues, there's a bunch of, I would say there's just a ton of scores that are in the 80s and 90s right now. And it's just like, wow, there was just not a lot of big plays, not a lot of scoring. The games themselves were kind of slogged to watch the best game from the morning slate or the early slate was the Texans Jags in London. And then you kind of just had all these other, most of them were sort of blowouts. The Bears, Falcons game turned into an interesting game later. Or the close games were like bad teams. It was like the quotes in the, in the titans, like rounds, Ravens, yeah, you probably came back. Yeah, someone probably wisely went apple picking with their family and came back and checked the scores. It's like the Rams lost. It's like, no, no, you didn't miss anything. You didn't miss anything. Yeah. Do the top 10, the top 10 wide receivers this week in fantasy are bizarre, Trey Tucker, Malik neighbors, Jeremy Bernard, JSN, Omar Cooper, Jalen Nol, John Doxon, Demarra Douglas, was probably not. But all those guys are scoring like mid teams, too, to your point. Like, how many receivers had over 20 points today at three? Yeah, I think it's two. With golden. That's the thing. It's like, oh, there hasn't been a receiver. It hasn't been a week without any 30 point scores since I just, I think it's three. I think it's three. I think it's three. I think it's three. I think it's three. Yeah. I think it's three. without any 30 points score since, as you said, week one of 2025. But a week with like two receivers over 20 points, I think also kind of like. - And one straight talker. - And again, we got pizza and Isaiah likely, who got there at tight ends. All, that was just literally weird, a weird identical side by side thing happened. We're both the Falcons and the Giants were down 24 with like 10 minutes left. And both their tight ends got two touchdowns and got the two point conversions so that they cut it to eight. And I was like, am I in the matrix? This is like a simulation that like these two tight ends, both got two touchdowns, touchdowns to cut it to eight. And I'm like, they both lost. I don't know. And that was like with the fourth quarter was like, nothing was happening. - This felt like the first true like, late slate slog of the year. You know when you're just like, it's like some random Cardinals game and you're like, I could probably just skip the second half. Charger's cheese was unwatchable because of the charge, who are barely a football team. - Because of the charge. - The Rams Cardinals game was a field goal fast. And then Bill's Raiders was like, - Oh, okay. - For one of the teams had a field goal fast. The other one couldn't kick field goals. - Sure. One of them could give field goals. And then the Bill's Raiders game was like, trying to be interesting, but never quite got there. (laughs) - It's like a sequel. - Well, I will say I feel like we're in the alternate reality of like the Bill, there's a world where the Falcons do a 24 point comeback on the Bears and the Giants do like a 24 point comeback on the Sands. And it's like the best day of the year. So just neither one happened. - Yeah. - I don't know. I think what I'm looking at the scorers, I'm like, okay, there was a few close games here. I misspoke on that and they all did come down. But like, I did very powerfully. - No, the scorers are not indicative. - I felt bored during the, especially during the early days. - I had seven stones up and none of them were grabbed. - The scorers are not indicative 'cause like the jets lost by seven, but they kicked the field goal with like 30 seconds left to got on the side. That was a 10 point game. You had the, you know, the Bill's Raiders was another one of like the Raiders where it touched down, but like didn't get the ball back. So that was really like a 10 point loss. Again, the close ones were the Titans and the Browns Ravens, the Browns, the first place Browns. Have you guys considered whether Miles Garrett might want to trade to a contender like the first place Browns? - He's in the last, he's on the last place Rams. - Is that even the DK? - Yeah, that is one of my losers of the week. The last place Super Team Rams. Look, where is Guilty as anybody of talking these Rams up during the off season and spoiler alert? No one is guilty for talking the Rams up. - I mean, look, on paper, they had a-- - Talking the charges up. - Yes, we are. - Sure, that's fine. - On paper, the Rams did have I think one of the most scintillating, exciting off seasons of all time. I mean, they traded for Miles Garrett. They got Aaron Donald to come out of retirement. They traded for Trent McDuffie a first round pick. They're doing all this to load up in addition to being like one of the best teams in the NFL last year. They're like, we're really doing it. We're going for it. And they're lucky not to be one in four. They are two in three now. And that was like, look, they lost to the Cardinals who are kind of the laughing stock of the NFL right now. - They're two in four, DK. - Sorry, two in four. They're in last place in the MC West. And I don't know, man, they lost to a team. This is the first time in the Sean McVey era that they've lost to a team that didn't score a touchdown. Yeah, the Cardinals kicked six field goals. - To be clear, most teams don't lose to a team that doesn't score a touchdown. - Right. - It's quite rare. - So I don't know. Look, they're just kind of reeling right now. Sean McVey looks really, really aggravated and stressed as he probably should, obviously. Do you guys remember during the off season, somebody was interviewing her. There's like a press conference with Mac Wilson, the linebacker for the Cardinals and somebody asked him about the Rams off season. And he got, you know, like quoted and memed for months during the off season in June because he said, I don't know, man, they got to deal with us. And like everyone was like, that's hilarious. And then-- - And they locked it here with you. - The super team Rams, they gotta, they gotta go through us. They gotta deal with us. - The Cardinals who Pukin' Okua did even know the Cardinals were in the same position like a year and a half ago. - Anyways, Mac Wilson obviously gets the last left on this one, at least for now. He, and also he had a big play in this game. He stuffed Davis Allen, which, I have a lot of questions about that. He stuffed Davis Allen on a fourth down rush attempt or something. It was like a really weird play even. The announcers were like, I don't know about that one. You're doing this with your third string tight end on a key fourth down. But yeah, everything right now is just really hard for the Rams. I, spoiler alert, I still think they'll be fine. Ultimately, as the year goes on, I think they'll figure things out. But their special teams are still a disaster. They cut Harrison Mevis after last week and then brought in Blake Grupe. And then he got hurt early in the game. He got messed up. - What are you, what are you guys top two favorite Blake Grupey moments on the show? - He tried to make a tackle on a kickoff and he got spun around in the air like he'd been hit by a car. It was insane. (laughing) It was like his shoes flew off. They were like, I've been to remember. - His shoes. (laughing) I've been stuck in my helmet every guy.
by a car. It is shoes flew off. That was, literally, and I landed on my shoes half on half off. I'm balancing. I'm like, holy shit, dang cook was right. I know it's like the day told me that would happen if I got hit by a car. We call that getting sage Rosenfeld. That's what happened to Blake. He literally went flying in the air. It's five seven. Yeah, five seven 156 pounds. But what do you want to be out of the air? It looked like 10 feet tall. Um, so you think, yeah, even got me this is sitting on his couch like Ben still at the end of dodgeball laughing. Yeah, because you know what? That's fucking Chuck Norris. Maybe this would have, maybe this would have forced a fumbly when it hit his arm. Maybe this was never gotten that high. Mevis is like, they'll be back. They'll just call it back. I will say that you have to wonder of Sean McVeigh committed some like mortal sin against the football gods for their special teams to be this far. Like, this is like a sick joke that they like bring in a new kicker and the kicker makes it like one drive into the game. And he's like on crutches. And he was saying goodbye to teammates in the locker room after the game. Like, he's gone. And then they have to go through this whole game and my again, this whole game, I'm screaming. I'm like, why can't the punter kick the goddamn field goals? And then he did. And then he did. He did when he had, they had to, but they went for two a couple of times. They, you know, they went to the front for a fucking punter to it. Yeah. I don't know. The Rams just kind of feel like a mess right now. They're really reeling at this, at this point. Also, how do you guys feel about them? Do you, are you with me that they'll figure it out and get better? Or are you kind of worried about them right now? No, I still think they'll be all right. Yeah. I wasn't worried. Some thing that was Devonti Adams went down with a non-contact injury and his left knee. And he, like, he wasn't near anybody. It didn't, like, it looked like he was just kind of jogging and came up and it looked weird. So if they lose him, and it's just Puka out there, that's certainly worrisome. Because they already don't have Terrence Ferguson. And he's like, he is like their, their wild card in the red zone. So if it's just Puka, who himself can barely stay healthy with Stafford, it's like, it's starting to become a little bit house of cardsie. Yeah. And that's always been my worry. I mean, they've already had, you know, Garrett go down, Donald, Miss a couple games. Yeah. So it's, it is very much like they are relying on these superstar players and so far injuries have been an issue. My was Garrett is the Donald Glover coming back with the pizzas and everything's on fire. Like it really is. I will just, this one from NFL researcher, the Cardinals have one more games and so if I stayed in this season, then the Rams and Chargers combined. Yeah. I was going to say I, I think it's likely that the, that the Cardinals win more games and so if I this year, then the Chargers. I have to ask you, speaking to which though, I, can I run it? Everyone's doing fake trades. Probably, but can I, can I, is there a reason the Rams should not trade for Cam Dicker, the Chargers kicker? Hmm. Well, last time we're going six. How much can you charge for him? That's what I wanted to ask. What, what, if you're the Rams, and you're, and you're getting, you know, miles Garrett back and you're like, you're just out of fucking kickers. Like if they're like, give us a fourth. I, I kind of think the Rams should do it, which is insane and I know if anyone who knows what they're talking about, we'd be like, you can't do it. Yes, you can. Just do it. The, the Rams have no shot of winning a Super Bowl when they're just out of kickers. So what would you spend? I, a third is outrageous, but I would talk myself into a fourth. I'd give him like a fifth with some swap to make it on the chart. Look like a fourth, but I'd fucking do it. I, like, Cam Dicker's really good. He already lives there. Doesn't have to move. Yeah. Same office. Yeah. Same office. And I, honestly, like, there's seasons going to go to, like, we're, we are going to talk about this in the playoffs. If the Rams are even lucky enough to make it, that they have no shot because has a kicker ever been traded mid season? It's kind of sure it's happened. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's a wild thing. It's a wild thing. Quick kickers and bad teams all the time this and I'm like, I don't know. Anyway, so that's my thing. My winner this week is CJ Stroud and the Texans. One for playing the only really great game today. But CJ Stroud made a lot of money. Before the season, the Texans wanted him to sign a deal for about 50 million a year and Stroud wanted 60. And I think me, especially just couldn't get over the turnovers at the end of the season. And they just kind of stood pat and CJ Stroud is going to get that 60 million dollars because of how he's playing a year. I thought Stroud was incredible today. The Texans beat the Jaguars 34-31 in London on the last second field goal. So Houston's two and four. But honestly, like, who knows? Like beating the, they're only two games out of the division. They feel like they're figuring it out. Oh my god. There's so much better. But Stroud was, Stroud was amazing day. 312 passing arts, three touchdowns, completed 70% of his passes. His keyboard, his quarterback rating was like a 97 out of 100. And then again, like he just, the Stroud sequence, but the end of the first half into the beginning of the second was he just looked exactly like the best of the best they did his rookie year, like their cult games, the rate like Stroud's best performances. It was reminiscent of that. The poise, the accuracy, the hootsball, like he's got the right confidence. Yeah. Confidence is back. He had this 50 yard pass to Jaylen all walking. Beautiful. Yeah. Like this celestial downfield out at placement follows up. It was amazing. But then like, the other funny sequence were like, they blew the play dead. And he just kind of threw a perfect pass to Foster Merrow anyway. And Merrow caught it. And it didn't count. Yeah. I love that when I came back. And like guys who like deep threes after the whistle blows and it's yes, you never really see quarterback do it, but he's exactly like that when the guy just looks like this big. Yeah. And Stroud, I've never really seen a quarterback do this, but he made the throw anyway at a spite. And then they kind of just, you know, they take the time out and then you have to call a different play. The Texas is called the same play. And then there were two defenders there. And he just threaded it through both of them. And it was like, it was this amazing touchdown. And then he kind of did the same thing at the beginning of the second half. And I was, I, I, it was a very close game. And there were two and four, but Stroud to me looks exactly back on course from where we thought it was two years ago. I think mentally too, you can tell he's clearly turned a corner. You know, who he, he, there was an interview after the game when he, you know, after they won. And he, he really reminded me of Kevin Nieland's character from Happy Gilmore. It's like harness good, eject bad. He, he, he definitely, he definitely sounds like therapist a little bit. The way Stroud talks, like he's like, like mantra is that he restates over and over in his head. Yes, he's, he's like the power of positive thinking and look, I'm, I'm, I'm making light of it with the Kevin Nieland thing, but he really, I do think it really does matter because he felt like completely shell shot. Last year, I think he got really down on himself. I think he lost his confidence. I think now he's very positive. He's got his confidence back. He's got his swagger back. And it's really showing on the field. After the game, he said, I try to choose joy. I made a mistake, and that was the end zone pick late in the game that allowed the, allowed the Jags to get back into and tie the game. But he's like, I made a mistake, but that ain't the end for us or defense held them, and then they gave me the ball back. And that's how I asked for it. I'm having fun. I'm having a joyful energy. I'm choosing joy. I kind of love how he's talking right now. I will put a quarter in. You get on the thing and you go up and down and around, circular. All good things. But it is working for him. He locked him in. Yeah. Circuling. Psycho. I love it, though. I actually really do buy into it. And I don't know. I just think it's changed. It's changed him. He's like trying to harness. He's trying to get all the negative self-talk out. Well, he went through one of the hardest things to go through in sports is when you start hot, young in your career, and then you kind of bottom out, and you have to dig yourself back out. Like you think your hot shit, everything's going well. You start a podcast. You bottom out. And then you got to figure it out. I especially like in 2026. Don't you think it's a lot harder to suck now than it was 30 years ago? The amount of media and just negativity that you were surrounded by compared to 1992, if you suck, you go home. Nothing happens. There's a mean article in the newspaper about you. That's it. You just don't read it. You pick up your phone and your Instagram feed is about how you suck. Millions of people have a direct line of communication, too. Now there's AI clips of you taking a shit on the field or something like that. It's brutal. So I understand why he had to mentally find a new space to live in because it's probably impossible. He said, so I found an article from I think two weeks ago that it's the same thing. He's like, I'm always very careful with my words, but I always try and speak life into people in the world that's negative. That's usually more times than not trying to tell you how bad you are. I've been trying to personally give myself better self-talk and also my teammates, giving them positive reinforcement, positive affirmations. He's talking like he is found to zen. I just love it. I think it's showing, too. It's crazy. Joyful energy, baby. It feels like it used to be like it was Nico Collins and then what else? And now it's like rounding out a little better where Jalen Noel is starting to look kind of good. They brought in Marvin Harrison Jr. for whatever that's worth. He had a couple plays in this game. Marvin Harrison Jr. three catches, 34 yards. What are his better games at the year? Career high, yeah. He didn't play hardly at all. He was making a lot of plays when he was on the field. Yeah. I mean, they still have Keishan Booty. So it's like the play calling feels a little bit more together now and strut and Kayleigh. I think we're working better together. The offensive line looks a little bit better. So Jalen, to your point, Jalen Noel had his career high in the yardage with like 30 like 25
minutes left in this game, he had a hundred and seven yards, uh, the field was weird throughout. The field was very weird in this London game. The referee slipped and I shredded his knee, non-contact while he was walking. Uh, like he was walking. And then Nico Collins was furious. Like, he couldn't get his cleats right. Uh, the linebacker and the Jaguar, so I always botched his name, but uh, uh, uh, follow a quan. I could never get his name right. But the. Why can't they figure this stuff out during the warmups? I actually have no clue. It rained a little. They have like, they were talking about these likes, you know, the sevens, the long spike. I don't know why they don't just wear them before. No one was happy with the, the, um, I mean, there's no sacks in the game. Like there was like 60 dropbacks or whatever. No team at a sack, which I think says saying about the past rush. Yeah. Having said that, this was a huge game for, uh, really high draft bus that could be because between Marvin Harrison Jr., looking better. And Travis Hunter, actually for a stretch, looking exactly like what he was supposed to be. Travis Hunter had a touchdown catch. And then an interception in the end zone on back to back drives. Yep. Which he's starting, he's starting to look like there are times where like, oh, he's one of the best players on the field. Yeah. Oh, yeah. You know, and it's, and it's that did not, we, we were calling him more expensive one, Dale Robinson, like last year. And now he's like, like, going man to man on Nico Collins and then catching a touchdown in the next play. He's very clearly one of the best players on the field, which is obviously huge for the Jags. And, and I feel like they're going to start using more on offense now that he's kind of getting his footing on defense. He, he's made some big plays on offense as well. Um, but yeah. Also, there's something to be said just about like how good his hands are for a corner. Like it just feels like he'll catch everything that gets thrown his way now. Like, I didn't get an interception last week as well. Like he, he's just obviously because he's an incredibly talented wide receiver just like his hands. His catching ability is so good. He also does the thing where he runs the route for the receiver. Yeah, undercuts it. And, and he just has a very good knack for getting himself in position to make those plays. Yeah, he's, he's, yeah, he's springy. He has just like a huge catch radius. Yeah. The Ranger Fantasy football show is brought to by Fandall. Fandall is now available everywhere. All right, we get it. Once again, he is awesome. He's the Arby one on the week, 27 half PPR points. God, like it's like a me too. Yeah. I think the game starts and it's like 70 yard touchdown. Yeah, it's not just, it's not just an accumulate, yeah, it's not an accumulation of a whole bunch of carries either. It's like he creates big plays for the chiefs exactly when they need them. He breaks free. His second touchdown, I believe, was he got totally caught in the wash at the line of scrimmage and then reversed it and got out and scored a touchdown. He's just doing more with less than he ever has in his career. He's awesome right now. The number two, number two running back in the NFL well ahead of B. John now, only behind Gibbs in fantasy points. He leads the NFL in rushing. He's tied for second in touchdowns. Big plays. He's second to James Cook and rushes of 10 plus yards. He's first in rushes of 20 plus yards. So he's he's exactly the all the cliches that we talk about where he's creating these explosive plays in the run game, which is so important to the passing game. I think it's helped open up everything, you know, for the chiefs offense. And it's just been a huge impact for them. Also, especially compared to the Seahawks run game, which is just absolutely trotious. That to me is that to me is the biggest sort of just contrast. It's the Kenneth Walker thing is almost weird because like he is now the most dangerous part of an offense with Patrick Mahoms. In Patrick Mahoms, like almost becomes an afterthought sometimes when you watch them. Yeah, I just like totally agree. Mahoms is having the cool. If you had told me that she used to be undefeated and like no one's talking about moms. No, we haven't had a conversation about Mahoms in six weeks. And he's playing good. And like the offense is good, but it's all Kenneth Walker. And when you watch them, you're like, wow, if I were a defense, I'd be like, I hope they don't run it. That is so true. Yeah. We got to make a one dimensional and make Patrick Mahoms be us. Yes. Yes. Like that's insane. That's great. Patrick Mahoms today, 23 of 30 for 272 yards in a pick. You know, like he was bad. That was a bad pick too. Yeah. I got one for you. Today Ken Walker surpassed the leading Russia on the chiefs last year. Wow. Ken Walker already has more rushing yards than anyone did on the chiefs last year. Is he? I mean, I guess I would have to look at the list, but he's clearly the most important free agent signing. I think he's one of the better free agent signings in a long time. I think the quarterbacks kind of separately. I mean, the best free agent signing. I mean, well, you know, it's ironically the best free agent signing in a minute. It's probably Sam Tarnels, which is kind of fun to think about. But non-quarterback division, I mean, it's, yeah, it's lightning. You guys think on a week-by-week basis, you would just bet Kenneth Walker to have more rushing yards than Cam Ward has passing yards. I mean, I mean, you go what's five for six so far? I don't know if they even offer it. They'd be out of business. My problem, problem, Isaiah likely and Malik neighbors of the New York Philippines. It's offense, you guys. The near giants, giants lost 34, 27, but you know what, what was lost might be found. You know what I'm saying? Like, neighbors, 15 targets, 12 catches, 165 yards, number two receiver on the week. Isaiah likely, number one tight end, more fantasy points than two receivers this week. Do you guys know that not only is Isaiah likely the number one tight end and fantasy football this year? He would, he is, there are only four receivers with more fantasy points than I say, likely this season. Really? Man. He is more than a Monroe or Tavante Adams or Parker Washington or any of those dudes. Yeah. Well, dude, Malik neighbors and likely over the last three weeks said that what ride receiver one and the tight end one, like the giants are like the best team in fantasy right now. The funnel maybe saying because they can't play defense and they don't, you know, Kim Scatabas dead to John Harboss. You know what? They're just going to go out and just throw it likely neighbors. I will say though, this is all just a little amuse bush because what we really have to talk about is how JJ McCarthy is so back. He's so back. He blacked out. He blacked out on the field out there. I did kind of black nine. Nine is now 18. You know, because he's JJ McCarthy 2.0. He doubled. Nine 2.0 is here. He was kind of electric in this game a little bit kind of a little bit. How dare you? That's my quarterback, Rathama. Well, his first pass was a pick, right? And then after that, he was spotting them points. There's too easy for him. You imagine what he would have done without that. When they stopped trying to make him into Tassum Hill and then after he threw that pick, then he was good. They gave him like 10 minutes of garbage time and then they're like, okay, I guess he's getting kind of close now. But yeah, the Saints putting in their backups and then pulling them. Oh my god. That was the funny thing. We did that too early. Has that happened? I feel like that's very rarely rarely happened. It's funny. That happens way more in basketball. We're like, the warriors are up 25 stuff sits and then it like comes to 13. They're like, I right. We'll put them back in. You never you don't see that in football almost. Oh, fuck they scored. We got to put our starters back in. So McCarthy comes in and throws her 243. He came in with 11 and a half minutes. Holy shit. Nine's cooking. We got to put the starters back in. It's 18 guys. It's 18 out there. So McCarthy comes in 243 yards. It touched that in a pick. Double. That's the giant's leading rush. We had for like 26 yards. Josh Dubau at the AP had this stat that James McCarthy had 271 combined yards passing and rushing in this game, which is the second most in a fourth quarter since 1991. The only person who said more yards combined passing and rushing. In the last one is that 35 years as Drew breeze in 2008. Wow. And he did it. He didn't even have he did it in 11 and a half minutes. He was he was straight up ripping passes down the field. He was big. He was baker may feel out there. He was stepping into throws. Crow hopping and fucking ripping passes down the field. I would like to announce on behalf of the Giants fan base that James Winston can be dumped into the Hudson River. Okay. Never need to see a great time. Really fun to have James on board. Never need to see him again. James McCarthy's the quarterback of the Giants future. Do you really think that will happen though? Oh, I actually do think that there might be something done because I mean, the flip side. James Doug Lawson had this great stat that today was the first time in James Winston's career where we dropped back to past 30 times and did not attempt to pass 20 yards downfield. No, the two games previous to that one.
where the two games in his career where he's throwing three pick or three touchdowns and no picks. Well, yeah. This is look, man. I'm just saying. I'm just like, I do wonder if Harvard's going to do it or benefit from being down 24 points to the point where the Saints took back. I'm going to thank MacArthur in one garbage time quarter and get the shitty Saints. And now you're like, fuck, I want JJ MacArthur. The giants are at the Texans next week. Good luck, JJ. Actually, right, James needs to go back in so we can protect JJ's confidence. Let me have my fun. You know what's crazy is that the giants, even though they obviously suck, have a very, very serious shot at this division still. I assume we'll see what happens. Maybe Washington beat San Francisco tomorrow, but it is so funny to me that the giants are going to like have this embarrassing tie with Washington and then lose. And they're not going to lose any ground in the division at all of Washington loses tomorrow. Yeah. So there are three, two, and one, the giants, three, two, one, maybe what happened to that one? What's the one thing all about? What happened in that game? I don't remember. I don't know. Uh, I misspoke. I think James did have two picks two games ago, so I don't know, maybe, uh, maybe we should venture, but. JJ MacArthur. I'm just saying JJ MacArthur's back. All right. It's back. It's 18 now. He did look good. I will say. It's worth it. It's worth it. Who cares? Like, let 18 go out there and make some magic. What do we have to lose? Uh, what's the family got you anyway? Uh, DK, who's it so over for, uh, look, it's so over for the Colts, Jesus Christ. I don't know. We haven't really talked about the Colts very much this year because they just been really hard to watch, but if you take it, Jonathan Taylor is like the only thing propping up that team. Everything that is not a Jonathan Taylor handoff is like an abomination. Taylor is incredible. The rest of the offense is hard. And I really came in like, I wanted to, I wanted Josh Downs to be thinking he had kind of a rough game today. So it drops, um, Tyler Warren was hurt. Tyler Warren got hurt on Friday or Saturday with a groin injury. So he was out. And Daniel Jones has just been absolute disaster coming off of this Achilles. He's been one of, if not the worst quarterback in the NFL. Um, Colts lost to the Titans 26 to 20 at home. The fans are booing them off the field. Stiking after the game was like, look, we got to give them something to cheer about. So I kind of get it. And they are two and 11 and their last going back to their buy last year. Oh, they are two and 11. Yeah. So there's just that I don't know what the hope is here, like all the big moves that they've made have not really worked out. That's it. That's easy. The hope is Chris Ballard is trying not to get fired because he's been trying not to get fired for 10 years. So they traded two first for sauce gardener, resigned Daniel Jones and resigned Alec Pierce. And then trying to recreate that magic, yeah, all three of them are like all three of them are not healthy. Daniel Jones is obviously like not himself off in Achilles and never was going to be. The whole thing was mobility. Alec Pierce, again, waited till after he started his contract to get his fucking surgery and then now he's not even playing. And the whole team said disaster because they were chasing a great seven week stretch, which was pathetic to begin with that they were chasing like the pre Halloween season. And they're chasing and trying to replicate the same success with people who are hurt. And now everyone's going to get fired for it. I know. It is funny that like if Daniel Jones doesn't get hurt last year and the cults go like I don't know, 12 and 5 make the playoffs, like maybe they win a game. Everything is so different. And now they're probably going to clean house and like restart at the end of the season. They should keep stiking. I think stiking. I think stiking. If they cults got rid of stiking, I think that'd be a huge mistake. It's like you're taking the roster you're being given by Chris Ballard to me. Yeah. Like if your stiking gets fired, I'm like the Eagles. Why does he not get any of the blame for all this though? I think that because to me, I think he's the one who took Daniel Jones last year. I think almost people forget you guys forget how much you made fun of Daniel Jones. I didn't forget because I remember. But like what he even achieved last year with the cults was like you like you guys have fucking amnesia of what you thought about Daniel Jones before the beginning of last season. And like him even doing that's miracle work. Right. I always kind of thought that that run during the beginning of last year was the outlier for the rest of his career. And this is just kind of who Daniel Jones is. Or I was like oh like in the right system, Daniel Jones can be competent. But I was never like, wow holy shit, Daniel Jones is a top 10 quarterback now. That's my point though is that the cults became a juggernaut and it's because I think shame stikens are really, really good play collar. Yeah, yeah. And they have a mobility based quarterback off an Achilles injury and he has no mobility. But my point is to me stikens, he's doing more with less Chris Ballard is the one in charge of the roster. To me, Chris Ballard's the one trading two first resource card. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like that's malpractice to me. Yeah, I agree. I don't have like a, I don't have anything against Stikin. I'm just, I don't, I don't know why he doesn't get some of the blame for the team being incredibly sloppy. I mean like they lost to the Titans today. The Titans didn't even play well. That's defense play. Can't worry. I only think through for a hundred yards. Can't be hard. There were 11 completions and he had a hundred yards. It was a pick six. There was a kick return thing like there was, there was, Dan, there was, Dan Jones had two picks. Jonathan Taylor lost a fumble. The Titans blocked a pun score to touchdown on it and they also gave a 58 yard pun return. They were just bad in all three phases. Why does Stikin get a pass for that? I, it's not like I, I really don't have like a strong opinion on it in terms of if he's bad or good. But he's the coach. This team is terrible right now. Greg, who's so back or so, so over for you. Man, we were so back this morning. AJ Brown's playing in this game. He's recovered from the ankle injury. The pats are back. Drake Bay is looking good. So back. So back. We're so back. So back. Holy shit. It's so over. For AJ Brown. Midway through the first half, I was like, what, what am I watching? He had five drops today is what I counted. He had 10 targets and five, five drop, five, he, the actual, I believe it's only recorded as two or three, depending on who's reporting it. It was five. He, he dropped a legitimate like 60 yard touchdown. He dropped easy slants, contested stuff that he normally comes down with. He was like legitimately terrible and was like the worst player on the page. It's today at 10 targets, led the team to targets and it was a mess. I didn't even think he looked that healthy. I don't know why he played in this game. Also, the most, the funniest thing to me, and I realized you're not going to change this like mid game based on how someone's playing, but it's so funny to me that he was on the hands team at the end of the game when they were doing it. I dropped it. He dropped it. He looked rusty. His hell. I don't think he looked that nimble like was that angle was healthy and they're playing Thursday night. Why would you not sit him? They're playing the jets. He's just, he was rip rare and ready to go. Craig wanted you planning about this all day. The first text, I was like, Craig's being such a annoying Craig, you're being so, you were going to say bitch. You were going to say bitch. You were being such a little bitch. So I'm watching tape and I can tell when somebody's fucking sucking. Then the second drop, I was like, damn, he should have caught that. The third one, I'm like, it'll be better with the practice. The fourth one, I'm like, block. He sucks. The hands team. My hands. He might be broken. No, it was the other thing. Can we burn him again? The first job will burn. I will say this, do you guys feel that when you drop a pass as a receiver, you look really stupid for having a visor? Yeah. I think the visor looks cool when you're great when you catch and you have a visor, you look really stupid. It looks like you should take the visor off. Yeah. But you can't see, when you have a raised truck, you got to be pretty cool, like to pull that off. Yeah. You're really going to have a specific sensibility to you to be able to pull that off. The visor, you know, how many people, how many stars currently rock the visor? Do we know? No, the visor is not that common anymore. Well, Tick and Metcalf does. It's the two, it's the two old men. It's the two guys who can't catch. Maybe they should take it off. What's the common denominator besides the eight packs and the old men? They live as one, but that's because there's actually a lot of sun working right there. They don't know how to blog out of the sun, but like it's like, I hate golfing in glasses. It's hard. I don't feel like I can see as well. Take a visor off. You think I'm kidding, but I kind of think you should. Do you think does the visors ever get fogged up when you're just sweating in your helmet? Totally. It seems really bad. Oh, that happened this week. I feel like you're so player doing that this week and absolutely, it's like taking the little thing and clearing off his visor. Just don't have a visor. Look, there's a reason why there's a reason we're like no quarterbacks wear a visor because it maybe it's hard to see. So if you're a receiver, maybe you shouldn't. If he takes the visor off this season, we're going to take credit for it. Does Jalen Hertz have a visor? A clear one. Clear one. But it's not tinted. Tinted. You need a special. Tinted is like. You see a car pull up. I know. There's so much to see in there. Yeah. So you show up to a night party in sunglasses. Yeah. When you wear your helmet out to a fancy dinner, AJ Brown, then you can have the visor. He'll be back. Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be like week 12. He'll have like. And we're going to keep being like, well, don't worry, it's AJ Brown. He's going to. It's going to work out. The other thing about this game, so Patriots beat the Jets 26 to 19. So Patriots won by 7. They're really won by 10. But they won by 7. And we'll say Jets, I will give Aaron Glen this. He does sometimes answer a question. Usually he does not. And like, who's your quarterback going to be?
but I thought he was really honest. So the Patriots lost in this game, the left guard, Elijah Vera Tucker, they lost the right guard Ben Brown, Ben Brown, who's the third string, so they don't have a fourth string right guard, they lost the right tackle Morgan Moses. So the Patriots net net are down five offensive linemen in this game. And they have to the game, they ask Aaron Glenn, why did you not get a Saka defense if New England was down five offensive linemen? And Aaron Glenn's like, that's a really good question. I don't know. I don't know. He's like, ah, that is hard to answer. I'm blanking on who announced that game, but they were talking about it the whole game. They're like, why is Aaron Glenn not blitzing Drake? I have no, it was, you know, so Aaron Glenn, they don't have a win in the AFCs. Like the Jetsons under Aaron Glenn have not beaten a divisional opponent yet. And this game, I could not believe the lack of adjustment to the offensive linemen. Because it was early in the game. I mean, dude, the first touchdown to Romeo Dobbs, the 40 hour touchdown Drake made was like eating lunch in the pocket. Oh, he had a whole day. He was bouncing around for like legitimately five seconds. And then through the turn, the announcer was like, I thought he was throwing it away. Yeah. Yeah. You know, on Fox, like they still, I mean, God, there's still wheel and Terry Bradshaw out there to do these highlights, which is still got it. How do you still doing the reading glasses? And I'm like, Terry Bradshaw's still doing it. And you know, obviously he doesn't have a ton of filter anymore. And so Terry Bradshaw is like, watching this Drake my highlight, trying to announce, he's like, oh, is he still back? Oh my, am I? And he's like looking close to the monitor. He's like, oh my God, he still has the ball. How does he have so much time? Surely everyone downfield must be covered. Oh, Romeo Dobbs might open. Oh my God, even Dobbs went out on that play. Anyway, yeah, the Jets. Remember when we, and also never mind Frank Rank, just an embarrassment, so over for the Jets, too. We're so back. I have to say Caleb Williams and the Bears are so back. Yeah, clean game, clean game. Oh, I'll not the fourth quarter so much, but the rest of it was the offense was, they're kind of picked up when we left off. The offense was unbelievable in this game. So the Bears 131 23 did leave it a little close to Falcons, almost unfalcons themselves. They did almost kind of had almost a 24 point comeback, but like an inverse falcon, inverse falcon. Caleb had went 30 of 30 of 36 passes, 305 yards, touchdown. He went, next year and stats had Caleb Williams from a clean pocket, completed 24 of 24 passes. Not bad. The immediately just rolling right throws left, hits Coulson Lovelin kind of does, it almost looks like a little mini air Jordan jump man, like he's just throwing across his body, like my home's. Yeah, I mean, the offense was incredible. And then the defense was really good, and then it was not. But the Bears, the offense it did look like week one. The only lame part was him talking about John Wick after the game, which Craig, I feel like you didn't like. Didn't like that. It was kind of Nick. What did he say? He was like channeling John Wick in the lead up to this game. I think all of the like, like I'm thinking I'm back. Negative press around him with the injury, people making fun of him, and he's like, so I watched some John Wick's. And then he was like, my team reached out to Keanu Reeves, and then he reached out to me and we like communicated back and forth and like, it's just, you know, famous people are insane. I know. 22 is brilliant Taylor is talking about this, but they never called Keanu Reeves. We get Keanu on the phone. We reached out. Yeah. Yeah. So I gotta say, man, John Wick has really like pierced through culturally. Like, there are many athletes who reference John Wick. Well, it's just a perfect movie. Aaron Rogers, like dressed up as John Wick for Halloween one year. Yeah. I just feel like it's been, you know, it's like a lot of athletes who like the mamba mentality thing. John Wick is like a legitimate, like top five now, like thing that players try to channel. Which, it's the Joker, the Dark Knight Joker. It's Maximus from Gladiator, it's John Wick, and you just said the other one. Well, it's like the Kobe mamba. Yeah, Kobe mamba, I mean, Kobe really is. This would be a good article. This would be a good Austin Gale article. I wrote one about the Dark Knight where it's like, I talked to a bunch of guys because I, like George Kittle got a tattoo of the Joker that he forced wedding. And I like all these, all these guys, like love Joker and Batman and everything, but they're all characters. Like Ray Lewis did the Maximus, Maximus, Maximus, Brady is thing before. That was his whole thing when he came out. He was like trying to be Gladiator. But yeah, maybe John Wick's the new one. I also want to say Luther Burton, kind of coming around. Start to happen. It catches 95 yards. Yeah. Looks good. Lovelin's quarter touchdown. Thank Christ. Yeah. Just saying. Odunz, they didn't really do much. No. So there's that. We're a lot of bears fins at this game though. Falkens went silent count. Yeah. This was a Brady game too. Which I gotta say, Brady is a little wacky. But it's fun. He's a lot better. It's ever since. It feels early Romo, where the prediction, it's not like the prediction stuff, but like, the energy, the kind of, you know, the wackiness, it just feels different than all the other, just like basic broadcasters. And I do appreciate that. That it is more entertaining with him. I am 100% confident that someone sent Brady the video of you making fun of him, not on the show, but on the rewatchables where you were like, he kind of yells. Yeah. He's like, oh, incredible play. And then he stopped doing it. And ever since then, he talks normally. So you really fixed him. Maybe it's that thing where you know, like singers when you're on stage, like, if you have the earpiece in, where you can hear yourself or not. And sometimes if you don't, you like yell, maybe it's a simple headphone situation for Tommy. And then it comes to-- - We're all so back. - Turned me up in the monitor. Yeah. - Many, many we're so back. I would just like to mention, Jalen Coker, who came back, they had a buy last week, he was injured the week before that. 13 targets in this game. Jalen Coker, like, is the number one wide receiver on the Panthers. When he's playing the game's healthy, he out targets Tadaroa McMillan. He has 31 targets in three healthy games this year. And if you actually look at-- So week one, two, and six are the only games where he has started and finished the game. In those games, he put up over 17 fantasy points, which is number three at the wide receiver position. It is literally, JSN, Pukinuku, and then Jalen Coker is the number three wide receiver in fantasy when he finishes the game. - Not bad. - That reminds me of the London game they had this stat that since week 15 of last year, the guy with the most 20 yard catches is Parker Washington. And honestly, Parker Washington and Jalen Coker remind me of each other, 'cause you're like, all right, if they went in the first round. If Marvin Ears and Junior and Brian Thomas were just doing what Jalen Coker and Parker Washington did every week, we'd be fucking falling over ourselves. - Yeah, we're just like a month earlier in the life cycle that we were with Parker Washington with Jalen Coker. We're like a month from now. It'll be like, okay, Jalen Coker's actually good. - Well, it's one of those were, okay. Where did Ted O'Roe and McMillan and Coker rank in the top receiver duo's in the NFL? 'Cause it's easy to be like, all right, Jalen Coker gets his one. - You'll see Lavin Pickens. - Okay, who's three? 'Cause it might be, is it McMillan and Coker? - No. - No, why not? - I think it would be Christian Watson and Matthew Golden, maybe put them up there. - It's a conversation though. - Yeah. - Who else? It's an inch, it's an inch, it forces you to recalibrate 'cause it's like, is it Jefferson and Jordan Edison? - No. - 'Cause he feel it Jordan Edison. - Jefferson's pulling a lot of weight in that one. - I know, it's, you might, dude. - That's the same. - So I have to just point, I think they're top five. They are a top five duo. - But no one even wants to call it a duo, 'cause yeah, but to your point, I do think it's probably top. I get, well, I guess sorry, the big one we're free and he's puking Devanta Ames. - Sure, they're three. - Oh, right, yeah, they would be three probably. - In the conversation. Where does Lad Macon Key and Quentin Johnson rank? - Well, I've never seen them on the field together, so it's hard to know. - This Panther's game is tough, the 25-14, this was a tough watch. - It might be over. - Like all the games. - It might be. - It might be over, I don't know. - Tanner McKee, you're not buying what he's selling? - Am I? - No, I'm not. - One of you is, what are you gonna buy it or not? - No, I don't think so. No, it's over for the Eagles, but really this time, I know we've talked about them a lot this season and how every week it seems to be just compounding issues, but now Jalen Hurtz is on IR. We did not talk about that since the last show. The blood clot issue was serious enough that they decided to put him on IR, which means he'll be out at least for four weeks. Could be more, I mean, we got stepped on with a cleat on his calf and others of blood. - Yeah. This is just turning into a nightmare season for the Eagles, Sequon, still hurt. Everyone on the offensive line basically is hurt. They lost the Panthers today. They've lost four straight. - Last time they lost four straight, they fired Doug Peterson in 2020. - Wow, it just, it does feel like they've already accepted their fate and this is just a lost season. So, what, legitimately, why wouldn't you trade Sequon? - If you can't get enough for him, I guess. I don't know. - Way out of the thing, what can you get for him? That's the question. I mean, there's probably a couple that-- - The Seahawks are desperate right now. I mean, you don't need like Green Bay or Seattle, you know. - Give him a third? I don't know. I don't know if he, I'm not 100% sure. - Would he take a third for a Sequon? - That's my point. He's like, you're asking for a second. No one's giving you a second for Sequon right now. - DK, if you're running the Seahawks, would you give up a second for Sequon? Right now, you can snap your fingers
on your team? Maybe. I think it's, well, the reason I, the desperation is a stinky cologne. I do think it's like, that's serious. The Seahawks offense. The Seahawks offense just doesn't work right now. They're, they cannot run the ball. They're putting Sam Donald into terrible situations. They're in long and Sam Donald keeps making terrible decisions. I do think they need a run game. I think losing kind of locker has been a massive problem for them. So, and, you know, I don't know when Charbonale will be back. It'll be soon, but he's not, I don't see Charbonale as a game changer. I think the craziest thing any team is doing right now that could win the Super Bowl is the Seahawks waiting for Zach Charbonne to just fix everything. He's going to save anything. As if he's not coming off an ACL tear from mid-January and just depending on Charbonate to come in and fix the running game. And there's like no other plan. Wait, can we, can we briefly, Nikhil just texted us? We didn't mention this that. Hi, did you say this that Caleb Williams made his Instagram bio? The phrase, "I'm inevitable." Oh my god, no, I did that. Look, I think, I think you have to be like that to be great. Yeah. Well, you have to believe in God or believe you are a God. You got to do shit like that, I think. Oh, he made his bio on, even his profile picture, John Wick, too. The sequel? No, his profile picture on Instagram is just John Wick. No, I know. He said John Wick, too. Oh, fuck. No, that was a terrible joke right me. Well, yeah, I'm inevitable. He even said that to Maria Taylor. He was like, yeah, like this thing, I'm kind of like been telling myself is like, I'm inevitable. That's my thing. I'm like, ah! But too much branding. There's just too much. There's too much. And Jayden Daniels made his Instagram much. When Jayden Daniels came back, he made his Instagram profile avatar. It's Kobe Bryant shooting a free throw. I think it's left handed with a cast on his wrist from like 25 years ago. Oh, okay. Kobe shooting free throws. Yeah. I mean, look, you have to motivate yourself in whatever way you can find, but yeah. So you know, what are you trying to say, though, about John Wick? Because John Wick is perfect. I love John Wick. It's like some of my favorite movies, like some of the best action movies ever. I don't know. It's just kind of like, I don't know. Thank you for preparing for a game. And by watching John Wick over and over, it's like kind of weird. Is that not? It's a little lame. I like Caleb Williams. I want him to do well. I like the bears. It's a little lame. I'm inevitable. It's a little lame contrived is the word I'm coming up here. Yeah. But none of you want to say something? You think Caleb's watching right now? He might be. I don't know. You think you look great in this game. He was amazing. Whatever fucking works for you. I just said he's contrived. What are you talking about? He's giving like early career Russell Wilson to be which is, you know, could be either better. Good. I don't know. No, I don't agree. No. You don't agree with what? I don't think he's giving Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson is a different kind of cheesy. If anything, JJ McCarthy is giving early Russell Wilson. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Well, and maybe he was watching the Elizabeth Holmes Nathan Fielder doc. I don't know. Maybe that would be better. It just feels like something. Russell Wilson would have done where he's like, get me John Wick. We got to talk to him. And we're going to do like a thing with him. Yeah. I think Caleb is just putting more thought into his like persona than most quarterbacks are publicly. Yeah. I mean, again, Caleb Williams was like, first Gen Z quarterback was now what we said. First Gen Z quarterback and his father hired the actual real life inspiration for scandal, the Olivia Popin scandal to teach him on media training when he was in high school. Yeah. So again, again, Russell Wilson, the, the, the, the parallels are there. Russell Wilson was trained since he was like a kid on how to deal with the media. Anyway, continue. Russell Wilson did win Super Bowl. So you got that. Did he win it? He has a ring. Yeah. We also lost one. What do you think? Super Bowl ring should be like, like, it's like a net win thing where it's like if you win one and lose one, you have zero. Like he had one for a year. And then when he lost, they took it away. Yeah, he blew it. Yeah. Actually, that would give that. I was interesting. I meant to fuck. I'm so mad. I didn't say this. I meant to tell you guys in the take purge. And I'm crushed that I didn't. That the Seahawks for this week one game should have gone double or nothing on the Super Bowl. And they should have told the Patriots that if we win, you get those right, we get that fucking Malcolm Butler game back. But if you lose one. Oh, shit. And they should have just brought the rings to the game. That's what the Patriots are going to say no to double or nothing. They have like set. They have six. And they should have gone double or nothing on that game. They're just like sitting on the sidelines in a briefcase. Yeah. And they just hold them in the middle. Like it's like WWE. I think the briefcase. And they just have them in the side. And then like the worst, what's the worst case scenario? The Patriots say no. And they're like little bitches. Yeah. And they just don't like scared. Yeah. We scared to compete. Would have been perfect. I guess Bob Kraft could have took his ring because Vladimir Putin took the ring from Kraft. But yeah, go get it from him now. You know that story, right? Caleb Williams is trying to go get it. He's got it. Have his people call Putin. You want it? You know. Does Caleb Williams have a dog? I think so. Uh, does he? He feels like he has a dog. I feel like that sounds right. Nicky says yes. Yeah. And he's turning in the dog. Yeah, the dog's name's super. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Supa. What does that mean? Like short for super. Actually, I don't know. Like SUPA. But it's like a, it's like an abbreviation of super. He, he has an IG account for his dog also. I can't imagine what else it would mean. Look, I ultimately support Caleb Williams. He drinks a giant matchup before every game. So I respect him. Um, he played great today. And Tom Brady kept yelling about how explosive he is. Also, I know, I didn't notice that. Yeah. He's not resueling. He's Aaron Rodgers. Literally, I can't believe it took us to slow to get here. You know, it dressed us how Aaron Rodgers dressed us. John McFrame. You never said that before. That's, yeah, that's all right. Well, I'm just saying it took us to slow. Yeah, but it's personality is not Aaron Rodgers. His play style is maybe Aaron Rodgers, but he's not Aaron Rodgers. Are you sure? I would agree with Craig. Are you sure? Speaking of Aaron Rodgers, you know who else is back? DK fucking Metcalf at the Pittsburgh Steelers, maybe. Yeah, another gutsy win. DK Metcalf looked like as bad as like, I don't know, AJ Brown a few weeks ago, dropping past his left and right was like legitimately making the offense worse by being on the field. Today was the exact opposite. He was fantastic. He had 11 catches. He looked like the terminator out there. So strong and fast. He runs like Optimus Prime. He's like high knees and elbows. He was awesome. He's like blocking his ass off. You got to give it to DK Metcalf. A lot of receivers, George Pickens, who like, performatively blocked or a lot of the divas like don't do it. DK Metcalf is out there like fighting dudes on runs when his other receivers are catching passes like he's right next to them. So he does kind of embody the Steelers in that way when his hands work. So I just want to say you body Steelers. He embodies the Steelers, like his like gritty, angry kind of like, we don't take bullshit personality. Does he body Steelers? Because you fucking hate him half the time. Absolutely. You complain about him every single week. He just wants him benched at all times. I don't know if you know what the name of the category is that we're doing right now, but it's called it's so overwears so bad. I just am glad that you can experience DK Metcalf in a positive light. Welcome to my world. This is what, you know, and he does that he absolutely blocks his ass offs. A lot of times it's totally unnecessary and he gets penalties for it, but he does he does work hard at blocking and he does run like Optimus Prime. It's fucking amazing. He runs like Samus from from Super Smash Brothers. If anybody plays, they'll know what that means. Like when Samus does the full run, it's DK Metcalf. Speaking of that though, I want to do a mini category because as good as DK Metcalf was, I believe it's time to once again, present a new member at the debut Taunt Ball for the player who is maturing, maturing and so on. It's a society. Yeah. Which is one, Jeremy Bernard. The germ. The germ, patient zero. You even know that's not his number. The rookie on the Steelers. Where can he take it from? What's his face? Darnel Washington. Darnel's not. Is Darnel zero? Oh, is he not? No, Darnel's 80, I think. Oh, my bad. It would be like the zero would be too big on Darnel. Darnel. It would look like it. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Jeremy Bernard, dude, 11 catches today on 12 targets. Has already become like a security blanket in the Steelers offense. It's crazy. Like Roman Wilson being out. Michael Bimman being out has kind of forced Jeremy Bernard to take on a larger role. And he's been great to earn Rodgers trust like on and off the field. The way Rodgers talks about him, like off the field is just as glowing as the way the amount of targets he throws him. Somebody, I forget who was calling the game, but they kind of made it come to like Randall Cobb when
Rogers was throwing a rental Cobb and it's not a one-to-one stylistic comparison to Jeremy, but I was kind of like, oh, you know what? I kind of see that a little bit. Yeah, it's a really. The run after the catch, you had like 60-something yards running after. Yeah, it's just like someone that can play all three positions that Rogers just trusts and they're not a traditional receiver. Like, yeah, that's a really good thing. I kind of like this. He's very savvy. But DK, I just set up to the game when he said what the confidence is matching the potential. Yes, well, I'll read that quote because DK is going to love it because Rogers did that thing where he gives you a compliment, but then he still has to like criticize you. This is his quote. This is his full quote about Jeremy Bernard. Because I don't know if you remember, if you, I don't know how close you were watching the game, but there was one critical fourth down where they threw it to Jeremy. He caught it beyond the sticks and he backed up and lost it. And so here's Rogers quote at the presser. There comes a time when the confidence starts to match the potential and I think we're reaching that time with Jeremy. Very proud of him. Obviously the fourth down probably should just catch it and back up. But he made a lot of nice plays out there. He's like, he's a withholding dad a little bit. You know, like you can, you build them up. He also have to keep them humble and keep them wanting more. There was a story last week about how Rogers quizzed him on all these different situations and scenarios. And Jeremy Bernard aced every one of them, which is a big part of reason why. Fourth and three, you have the first down. What do you do? Back up. Do you run back and get give the ball up or no? These dealers are used to that, though, because like George Beckens did shit like that all the time. I will say, Craig, I will say he had the single game receptions record now for the Steelers. He asked me to do some issues. Yeah, that's why I meant. So that's pretty impressive. Also doing that with Rogers who typically hates every receiver. He comes across, except for two or three guys that he will carry with him for the rest of his career. Yeah, it's pretty good. Also early contender for like when we do the rewatchables at the end of the year and we do what's AIDS the best and what's AIDS the worst, the Steelers not getting McIe lemon and how he Roseman swooping in at the last second to steal McIe lemon, which then forced the Steelers to take Max Ionichor, the tackle who looks decent and then get Jeremy Bernard in the second round who I think is just going to be better than McIe lemon has aged. Yeah, like wine. Love that. The other Debbie Todd this week, guys, another, another rookie Omar Cooper junior for the jet. I didn't realize you were coming to the ball with me. You're here. Oh, yeah. Omar's joining. He came off the IR this week after he had a high ankle sprain week one after catching one. He only ran one route in week one. It was in a caught a 30 yard pass and then he got hurt. He missed the next four games or five games. He's back now. Six catches, 102 yards in a touchdown. He immediately looks like the number, the second best receiver on this team him and Garrett Wilson. I think have a chance to be really good duo in the future. Omar Cooper, he just keeps showing up, man. And he had a key caught a 48 yard touchdown today. And he's kind of he's similar in some ways to Bernhard where I just feel like he's got that savvy knows positioning catches everything in his vicinity. He's a tough physical player at the catchpoint can run after the catch. I just think he looked great today and I think he has a really bright future. I'm so glad that Omar Cooper is good because I loved him coming into the I loved him in Indiana. I loved him coming into the draft. I was upset. He went to the jets. I was upset that he was just absolutely buried on the depth chart. Oh man. Oh man. Yeah, during the off season, people were talking about him. He's playing behind Isaiah Williams. He can't even get on the fields. Eight drives into preseason games in which for a first round receiver, it just like never happens. And it turned out to be an air in Glenn's special. But I'm glad that he's good. I've ever seen a root for that's all I got on that. Well, it's okay because it's it's time for the most important thing we do. This is what people stick around for. America's favorite segment. It's time for fart. We're short. We're short. Oh, hello. Yeah. Well, that was like identical. Did we like that? I do. Let us know in the comments. It would be nice. Read the I feel like there's that reverb sound effect. He puts on at the end. And there's like this tinge of diarrhea to the to the outro sound that I somehow was worse than a full fart effect. Did you because I know you you recorded the vocals for that. Did you also record the background of Foley? Is that you as well? You did. You did. You did all of it. I bought some nice cheese. I'm lactose intolerant. So we had you know, we had to get some rights. You went method. Exactly. Daniel Delos. Um, all right. Daniel. Yes. Kelly. Of course. Michael Wilson. Oh, why does he run the Cardinals? Marvin Harrison Jr. traded away the Houston Texans. Yeah. Now we've had two weeks of no Marvin Harrison Jr. And in those two weeks, Michael Wilson has 62 scoreless yards. Are we thinking fart? Or like fart is like go trade for Michael Wilson right now. Or it's just not happening. Shart. Um, great question. There was jokes happening after the first week that Martin that Michael Wilson got Marvin Harrison and he's just running like the wind sprints on the sideline and letting everyone else catch passes and things of that nature. I don't think it's that clear that that's what's happening. But it is kind of a bummer that Kendrick porn is like getting a lot of looks now and he's getting a bunch of catches and maybe is the guy that you want to have in this offense. I think there's a small amount of shart happening here. I wouldn't I would not say go trade for Michael Wilson. Small amount of shart. I don't think that counts. He's still a shart. Yeah. He has to like I only shit it a little in my pants. Like that's not how it works. There's worse versions of sharting than this. But yes, this is a shart. Like is it is it so small that you wouldn't have to leave dinner? Now you do have to leave. Yes. You don't want to stick around. Remember Michael Wilson was like a top 15 wide receiver last year. Yeah. Legit straight up. And I think even like the last half of the year is he was like top 10. I'm I'm worried. I don't think that's happening again. Really? Like what's changed? I'm worried that if we declare this a fart there's a change. I mean a shart. There's a chance. Excuse me. If we declare it a shart not a fart. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Three weeks from now, why Michael Wilson's getting 15 targets a game and we're like that was the most obvious thing ever. Well, what do you think it is? I'm going fart. All right. What do you guys say about that? Okay. I guess nothing. I already said what I said. What do you think? I said what I said. I know he doesn't like questions. Well, I actually do. I have one mini uh, farther shart here for you. You guys just don't accept my answers. What do you want me to do here? All right. You're saying it's a mini shart. I don't. I'm saying it. It came out in the pants a little bit. Yeah. Okay. And you got to leave immediately. Got to go. Okay. Next one. Okay. In the last three weeks, this quarterback has been outscored by Jacobi Berset, Tyler Huntley, Tanner McKee, Jalen Daniels, and Daniel Jones on a per game basis. This quarterback has the second most interceptions of the last three weeks and has taken the second most sex of the last three weeks. This guy won the Super Bowl last year. Where are you going with this? Sam D'Arnold DK. I look, the fantasy people want to know, his first week he came in. He had like, he was like the QB2. He had like 30 fantasy points. He'd go through 40, 300 yards. Look great. Since then, he's been an absolute master three weeks. So let's say you DK, for your very hometown hero, Sam D'Arnold. Shart. Really? Well, look, we've laid it out. Here are the reasons I say that. They have no run game. And basically one good receiver in JSN. Everybody else is like, here's one game of Shaheed, Cooper Cup, shell of his former self, Toy Horton, sometimes out there, but he keeps getting hurt. They don't have a good passing offense to begin with, and now they have no run game, and they are, I think coming into this week, they were like bottom three in terms of distance on third downs. They can't, and they run a bunch. So basically, they're running a bunch to try and set up good third downs, but they can't run. So then they're ending up in third long third down in situations. And Darnell to me is not the quarterback that you want in long third down situations. Do I think Darnell is suddenly very different from who he used to be? No. I think the Darnell, we saw last year, like fucking lead the NFL in turnovers, or was second in the NFL in turnovers. So this is kind of the same guy. He just happened to kind of get really hot in the playoffs, and not have any turnovers. But for me, he's just a guy going back all the way through his career, going back to college, he turns ball over. He's kind of a bozo in certain situations, makes bad decisions. He can still make fucking great passes. We had this experience on Thursday night. He made this incredible pass to JSN down the middle. Split three defenders, dropped it in a bucket, where only JSN could get it. And I'm like, this is what keeps me hanging on with Sam Darnold. And then two plays later, he threw a pick and ended the game. I was like, okay, this is goddamn it. Like is Darnell just the light manning? Yeah, maybe. I'm bad. Yeah. I think he's capable of making some of the most incredible passes I've ever seen. But you cannot, there's just no way of ignoring the fucking turnovers. It's it's a two-year-long thing. You like Manning through the year they won the Super Bowl, because you've seen it, Patriots. Do you know how many? 20? 20. Yes. How did you know that?
I just I feel like I remember that for some reason. We did not rehearse that or anything. You ask that is exactly the number But he like through twenty interceptions and let the NFL and then that was the year they won the Super Bowl Which is a damn darn old-ass thing to do. I Don't so my guess like well the reason I say shard is because I don't think he's all of a sudden gonna stop making turnovers It's just he's never done that for an extended period of time Well, and you know you mentioned the playoffs and you're like he got so hot in the playoffs You know what else they could do in the playoffs run the ball right? They had an awesome run game can't walk her went freaking off. I don't know I do like I to me this is not me saying. I don't think Darnell is good I do think he could like I said he can make some incredible plays But dude there are a lot of people in Seattle who want Drew Lock playing right now He he Darnell basically lost them this game against the Broncos. He lost them He's lost them a couple of games since he's come back because of turnovers This is the the type of defense the sea ox have. I think Darnell is like maybe the worst type of quarterback You could have to pair with that defense This is like what Stroud did last year where just don't turn the ball over three times and you'll win the game But it's funny. You said it's the worst type of court they won the Super Bowl The worst type of quarterback to pair with this defense. I know that's how good their fucking defense wise What is they stuff? This is like the joke you need a game that you need Brock Purdy or anyone could have done it. No, I'm not saying that I'm saying You're look. Yes. They won the Super Bowl with Sam Darnell when he stopped fucking turning the ball over in the playoffs Like that's a big reason they won Yeah, you're like as he stopped turning the ball over Jalen hurts or something a guy who's just like the I don't know if the only thing he doesn't do is turn the ball over and that's what you need actually I don't yeah, like I don't have need I think they can still be good understand Darnell It's a shark in fantasy. You don't Are you with me? I don't think DK enjoyed any part of the title run for the suit I think he had fun for like 30 minutes He like x hailed when the final clock hit zero We've talked about this a million times. You've done it. It's hard to enjoy your team when there's a lot of expectations No, it's not I watch the next win the title. I had a great time. I've had a fun somewhere I think I've had more fun every time I put on a nicksack. Yeah, I gotta say all the warriors rings a blast Yeah, this motherfucker is not had any fun. I've spent so much time with you You've not enjoyed any of this I just that's just a fucking lie. That's absolutely. I mean like the I did have a lot of fun Yeah, but I I go you mean it is stressful like every warrior series against like the rockets of court They want all this but they were they were stressful, but it's also really fun. It takes years off your life But like then when they win I just I just wish you would have what are you talking about then were you not stressed during the final? I just wish you had had more fun Yeah, like the win and now when you're like Darnell's the worst possible pairing with the defense. I just I had I had seen you happen I respect it though man, and so it's why sports are the worst, you know Because this is what it does to you like you can literally think you're you're also completely fucking gaslighting me about it Because it's not true. I did enjoy it. Like you're just lying right now Craig are there moments you remember that I am forgetting of him being I'm not I'm not denying that I was stressed During the super I'm not saying during the game. I'm saying between when they won the game was over And now I just I thought there'd be more happiness. Yeah, yeah, I agree because I think you were like ah shit We don't you live you live across the country from me pal. You don't fucking see me all the time He's like he enjoyed it like every weekend. I dance naked in the fountain You're not a see-hawks fan. I had fun with my see-hawks fan friends You don't get to see that part of my life dude. We're not that good of friends pal, all right? Yeah You live in fucking D.C. All right. You talked to me for a couple hours a week Just tough gaslight to be about it. It's bullshit Anyway, I'm allowed to be fucking pissed about turnover machine darn old, all right Hi, this is right though that like I feel like you were kind of you were you were stressed and you kind of like complaining about this Or worried about the see-hawks soon after the ring I was soon after they won Well, you would kind of just like say stuff and you wouldn't know that they had just won the Super Bowl by the tenor of your voice Or by like what you were kind of talking about. I think it was like the nature of the Super Bowl every it was like a weird Super Bowl Yeah, or it's like when they got rid of Ken Walker. I think you were like fuck Like an ending sharp in his heart and like ah, I don't know We'll see that that is a maybe a better way to put it is the way you talked of the see-hawks at you would never in a million years But like they won but that's just false meanwhile the time city in New York comes up Hi, if it just starts dancing make it in the fountain about Josh Hart failing Brunson. I fucking love Josh Hart. Yeah Alicia Robinson's our kid Walker. That's right. Yeah, which means I mean the next 2026 Next now the see-hawks Is that gonna happen? It's a bad entry drum and yeah Um anyway here. I got one for you fuckers. Oh, cams cataboo. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. You can't bring a farder shirt I can in fact and I just did I'm gonna I'm gonna ask hyphids in in particular Because hyphids thinks cams cataboo is better than ash and genty. Oh, I just noticed Uh, okay, so how do you do today? How did how did cams cataboo do today and how did you do in the last game? Did he uh funnel the game away and cost them a win? You're mad I already had this all written down. I am mad at you now for gaslighting me constantly You didn't have any fucking fun on this show. It's Absolutely false go watch go watch the friggin show. We could it's demonstrably false you idiot I really it does bother me that you like just lie to my face. I'm talking March April may June July and August. I'm not talking about the one show at the Super like there's yeah, yeah, okay So let's take the one where they won the Super Bowl out. Okay, then we'll talk about those shows I just thought it lasts longer than what you're talking about Anyway, hey hyphids how scammed cat how's cams cataboo doing? I don't know if you can get scataboo scams cataboo You're your fucking savior. You're the best the best running back in the NFL didn't barely play today zero points Yeah, I don't know how you do. Yeah, free cams cataboo. He wasn't allowed to play. Yeah, it wasn't allowed to play Would he would have been awesome John Harb. He was like, yeah, I got punished for filming the game way last week And then they asked John Harb. But did you bench shot? It's cams cataboo. Why'd you do it? He's like I didn't bench cam scataboo. He had this whole two-minute answer He was if you read between the lines it was basically scataboo. It hasn't done shit So why should I play him? You know what that's such a good point. I'm that's why they brought a nausea here of two had six yards Tyrone Tracy look kind of good though Yes, who also Harb it just bothers he was in the doc house earlier this year for just funneling constantly They just Harboh is just ended up in the situation where like it's impossible to win where he got Carries to he did a four-man running back rotation of Tyrone Tracy Devon Singletary Naji Harrison and cams cataboo And then scataboo ended up getting no carries and he and John Harboh both put honestly John Harboh pretending like it's not a benching Is it creating like he just he clearly doesn't want a headline that he benched It's like don't put it in the newspaper. It's actually the best answer that you'll ever get from a coach ever Hi fits. That's I actually Do you have the end? He's he's gaslighting you like you're fucking gaslighting me It's actually the best answer that you'll ever get from a coach. I can't imagine I can't imagine getting a better answer Did you hear this is by the way? This is me quoting John Harboh to the guy who's asking the question you never get a better answer from a coach ever I can't imagine you getting a better answer I will say it wasn't a two-minute answer on the thing it was a long answer, but he also he definitely is having a competitor The I have the whole answer actually here in the show and I decided it was too long to play But overall I think this is Hot take I think this is a fart and I think scataboo will get the job back And I think you should trade for Kim scataboo. I think he's a bylaw. I agree with that There's like a big public benching and that they do want to get nods you the ball But he's I think that this is going to be the low point. I mean zero carries whoever has him is panicking Tony and he played six snaps. Yeah, I mean he hasn't a double digit points in sweet three I agree though. I would I would treat him as a bylaw and try to trade for him We thought Tyron Tracy was going to get caught a month ago Tyron Tracy was the best running back to head in this game I know I can't tell if like Harbohg just like doesn't like him or something But I don't I think he doesn't like him. I think that's part of it. Yeah, but what he's gonna learn is trade for him. Yeah, scataboo is better than Dude not she not she's not she had four carries today for two yards Like that that ain't gonna work All right, so not not sharp now. I'm going for it. Okay And you have to live with that answer It's the best answer I'm gonna get however you may feel about it. You must accept it Okay, no coach you ask a thousand coaches you wouldn't get a better answer than that I can't even imagine someone getting a better answer than what you just got That was actually pretty good. I'm gonna start fucking every time he doesn't want to every time we're like I gave you an answer. I can't even fucking imagine you getting a better answer and now you're telling me I didn't answer anything It's the greatest answer in the history of answers All right intrusive thoughts unwanted ideation from the day I mine mine I got through which was just I was so happy the Rams that he's the punter to kick the field bowl I was just screaming but every year a kicker gets hurt And I just don't get where the punter can't make a 33 fucking year field goal My intrusive I think I could have made that Have you ever tried kicking field goals? Have you ever like gone out on a field and done it at the risk of
making this podcast somehow even more combative than it already is. I don't think you can do that. I do. I think I could. I think it's harder than you think. In that situation, probably not. With that amount of pressure, I think I could go out there and kick a 30-yard field goal though right now. If there were no fans and there was no stakes, but it was still like an offense and a defense, and you had to like kick it in the same amount of time, I don't think you could do it. Oh, I do. I think I could. You have one shot. You think you could kick a 33. Well, I mean, I think I, I could, I would certainly, there's a chance I would miss, but I think I could make a field goal. I think I could make a field goal. Oh, okay, sure. There's the chance I shank it. Well, that, what does that even mean then? A lot of fucking professional kicker over here, but I think I could make a field goal if I was called upon to do it. Like, out of a hundred drives? I think I could go three from five from the corner is what I'm saying. How dare you throw that back in my face? At least he's actually done that. And at least I gave you hard time talking about, you know what I mean? Well, I had a half-court shot. That's even further than from three. From a thousand to people. Yeah, what's your percentage? It's longer than a three-point shot. You get a hundred chance. Still worth three, though. With an offensive defense, how many think you make? Yeah, what? What's the question? You get a hundred chances or maybe 10. Yeah, I'm 10. I'm 10. You do it 10 times. I think I could be, I think I could make five from 30 yards. Do you really? Yeah, so it actually points to 32, whatever. Yeah, I do. You think you make five? I'm not going to lie. I don't think you make a single one. Oh, I think I would make one. I think I would make at least. We can look. We can make this happen. Have you ever tried? Have you ever tried to kick a field goal? I think in high school, I did a few times. It was not as hard as you think. We watch these college game day Pat McAfee gives that the million dollar scholarship or whatever if you do. And like, no, well, they're not the level of athlete that I am. That's true. Yeah. When you guys are going to come out to L.A. soon, we'll have Bill get us onto the UCLA field. I try. I'll let you get married in this. I why do you think it's like, why do you think it's like so many possible fucking thing to do? I think it is harder than you think. Yeah, sure. Probably professional punters are like, I don't know about that. He's like it nailed it. It was easy. I ain't a punter. They should have made it because it's easy. They don't even let punters do it. I think I'm like, that's the beginning and end of the conversation. If you're against nobody and you can just stand there and take as long as you want, that's different. You say, I thought you were like, I could do it in the game. And that to me. No, no, no, no. I think if there was people screaming in from the edge and like, try to kill me, I probably would miss. I think I'd give you two out of ten. Okay, I think I could make five out of ten. We're doing it. This is easy. We can go to a high school and do it. Five out of ten is not good for the record. That's poor. That field goal percentage in NFL history is like 84. From 30? I agree with that. I'm saying from 30. From 30, it's got to be like 98%. Let's say I can hit it from 5th. I'm backing down because of how crazy you sound. I actually am concerned for. This isn't crazy. It's not like a fucking. It's not like out of ten from 33 yards. Yeah, I don't think hitting a 30 yard field goal is as hard as making sounds. I think it's a fucking impossible thing. I think it is harder than you think, but. I've tried it before. I'm not like making this up out of ten. What's five years ago? Yeah. I'm saying it back, but that it wasn't that hard. Well, we'll get Miles Garrett's not busy right now, so we'll have him rush you as you try to do it. No, I'm admitted that I'm not doing it on a field when people are screaming in off the edge, I'd be. You know, my interest is. This isn't like unwanted ideation. This was just a thought that crossed my mind. I missed the chains to measure if it's a first down. I used to love when they would bring it out, and they'd do the stupid thing, and they'd do the chain, and the camera would zoom in, and it'd be like two inches short of the first down, and the ref would do the little two inches, and everybody would go nuts. And now it's like, we asked the robot, it's a first down. I'm like, this sucks. I like the chain. The chain is dramatic. And the super over dramatic first down. Yes, the actual. The virtual measurement is the most. The biggest insult to my intelligence, I've ever seen. It's actually so insulting that. Give me the chain that's inaccurate. I want the chain. I jean's territory with the paper and the chain is still like, that was the peak of officiating. Yeah, dude. Come on. It's better with the chain. I think that's just the truth. Similarly, my interest brought. I don't miss the chain game. Today. You don't miss it, fucking. You don't know, he just hates the refs. I gotta tell you, I had a thing today where it's not a take, but it's just something that it really brings me joy, and I didn't realize it. But I love when the refs already threw their flags, so they have to throw a hat. Oh, yeah. Because it's like, they're really like. It's like trying to find something to fucking take off the pot. It's like, they're in it. Like, they're in the moment. Yeah. Like, you know why? Because if you're really threw their flag, it means you're kind of like breaking up a fight. So you kind of got your right. You're just like, "Oh, I mean it now!" And he's like, "Ruf just throws his hat." And I just think it's the funniest thing ever. Because they're kind of peaking in that moment. They're doing three things at once. Yeah. They're having an improvise. Yeah. Do you think they practiced that? For sure. Like, "Oh, God, I gotta do this." Yeah. While brushing their teeth, like. All right, flex category. We have the non-player injury of the week. Yeah. Which is a loaded category. I mentioned the referee who suffered the non-contact injury in London and the other ref took a knee. Which is probably a really nice thing to do. It's fucking me. But it's probably really thoughtful and a thing to do to pray for your friend. However, it looked really fun to have a referee at a knee next to the other ref. Mike McCarthy entering his ankle at halftime and staying in the blue tent instead of going to the locker room. I tried to find the video. I just, there's a video of him just kind of limping while walking and then the limp gets worse and then he basically can't walk and then he goes to the tent. How did he hurt it? I was disappointed in the local journalism in Pittsburgh. Of no one procuring the video. He said he got stepped on. But I've yet to see the video of Mike McCarthy getting stepped on. Yeah. I really want to see him getting hurt. Yeah. Someone has this. That's mean. Well, I don't want to see him hurt. I want to see how he was injured. Big tree fall hard. He's limping off. He was in the tent all of halftime and then everyone's like, "Man, I guess no adjustments." And Aaron Rogers was like, "You guys don't know how halftime works." That's true. But go in there like drink some water and then get back out. He was like, just so the myth. Yeah, he was like, everybody goes to the bathroom or has like a sandwich or a banana. And then I chat with the offensive coordinator for 30 seconds and then we go back out there. First of all, most people don't realize just covered the secrets of how we're going to win the second half. A lot of halftime's walking back and forth and then people have to wait line to take a piss, especially in Pittsburgh where they got the five stalls. Right. Half-time man quicker than you think. The sandwich is in there, you know. It's like what are fans are waiting in line for the bathroom so are the players. But the real injury this week though, I think it's got a bit of an ins. Dude, I was watching this live. I had Bill's raiders on the big screen and it cuts to them. You know, their chemistry, Nance and Wat is, it's a little stiff, it's getting better. But what has this idea of how, because they're talking about James Cook, fumbling problem and now James Cook is doing two hands on the ball. And JJ Wat was like, oh, I don't think he should do that. I think you hold it in one hand and then you grab your wrist with the other hand. And that secures it, which it actually doesn't make sense to me. But and he's like, and he's like, Jim, look, like, try to punch it out of my grip right now. And Nance is like, really? And he's like, yeah, yeah, go ahead, try. Punch as hard as you can. And Nance does punch him as hard as he can. And then immediately it's like, holy shit, I just hurt my hand. And then Wat was like, man, I really didn't expect you to hit me that hard. You actually really punched. And he's like, yeah. And then we go to halftime. We come out of halftime. And Nance has a wrap on his hand. I don't know if that was like a bit. He was leading it too. But he might have broken his hand. I, so he says I broke my wrist. Also, JJ Wat being like, punch as hard as you can. He's like, I don't think you were going to punch it as hard as you can. No, Nance was joking like I might have just broken my wrist. But then he had a wrap on his, and it's like over his knuckles. So what? It's like, it's like in the movies when you're like, see an instructor and he says, okay, try and stab me and he gives him a knife. And he's like, you ever think about like, what if he actually does stab you? I guess you have a lot of confidence about it. I'd say, yeah, breaking your hand, punching a football is pretty funny. It's just, it's just mean by what? Well, what didn't do anything? Also, you can tell Nance was excited about what's like 60. What, how, what, how big is it? What is the football? 6.285. The football's not 6.2. Well, how tall was what? 6.65. I think it's like 6.8. No, it's 6.5. But it's the football. It's not. It's like, what? He hit the football. He's just, what's like, I know, I know. It's just funny to me that he actually did it. Well, you're going to punch the ball out for too long. Well, it ties into my, like, the fact that they don't have that great of chemistry yet. Nance was like, do you actually want me to do this? And JJ was like, yeah, no, do it. And he was like, kind of awkward for a second. Yeah, you think I'm just letting you. JJ was like, yeah, no, hit it as hard as you can. He's like, I didn't think you were going to hit it that hard. Yeah, he's like, man, you really punched it.
Also, you can see it. The ball doesn't move even like an inch. Like not even a second, imagine if I did that to DK Craig. Imagine it was like hit the ball as hard as you can. It's like really like as hard as you can and then he did it and I was like, I don't think you were going to do it. Kick the field goal as hard as you can, DK. Yeah, yeah, I would hit you as hard as I can right now. DK, how, I mean, with 30, we were talking 30 yards. So how far could you go? Not very far. So in your mind at 30 yard field goal, you're just getting over the crossbar. Yeah, okay. But you get it five of 10 from 33. Yeah, but you don't think you get hit at 40 at all. Why does it 33 all this? I thought it was 30. That's how far an extra point is. Okay, well I said 30. No, no, it was extra point. Come on. Okay, the nickel and diamonds now it's an extra point. It's an extra nine, yeah, it's nine feet. That's a lot. I was thinking it was 30 this whole time, you guys. Come on. No, we'll do it. 33. And if you don't go five for 10, what's your punishment? You have to trade me your best. Oh, everlasting shame of, you know, claiming I could make an extra point. You have to make your Instagram. All forever be known as the guy who thought he could make an extra point. You have to make your Instagram bio for a week. I'm inevitable. Yeah. Just I'm inevitable. I'm inevitable. It's going to be tough. What if I do it? What are you going to fucking do if I do it? Hi, Fitz. That's a good question. Yeah. Someone's going to pull their hamstring. I'll pull my hamstring again. If you do it and if not, you'll probably pull your hamstring missing. I probably will get hurt, actually. That's the most likely scenario. Bit of the back of my mind the whole time. I'm pretty warm up. You're going to try. And to be honest, if you make it and get hurt, it's a net loss. Because no one would be like, oh, that's still lame. He got hurt. It doesn't even know. The realistic thing is I'm going to miss all of them and then I'm going to be really sore the next day. And I'm going to have like a knee problem for like a week. Your knee will like never be the same probably. Yeah. If they have a limp for the rest of your life. I know. I don't know if he's like he's a cane out of this because high fits fucking riled me up. And then you're going to. And then you're going to come playing. You're going to be like. I did it. I was like, I don't think you could do that. If I don't make five out of ten, I'm going to end up kidnapping Adolfin. You're going to be Ray Finkel. Yeah. Okay. Best quote of the day. It has to be Aaron, Jeremiah Trotter Jr. just gets in Aaron Rodgers' space and is saying God knows what and Aaron Rodgers just turns to him and says, I knew your dad. He was better. That is good. He's probably not wrong. Honestly, I think I've turned the mic, Evan's like, that's the second best dish of the year. Because it's so, it's so short, like it's, it's so tight. It's so tight. I knew you guys. He was better. It's better. It's like fuck. What do you say to that? That was the funniest thing I've ever seen. I was genuinely, that was hilarious. Also, the Saints' owner this week was like, hey, Kellidmore, if you fuck up, I'm fiery. Yeah. I mean, that was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Why aren't you? And he's like, can you imagine? He's like, oh my god. Oh, that's true. Okay. Even worse than Kellidmore, though, I think has to be Aaron Glenn, Jets head coach, bless his heart, giving a half time interview. Bless his heart is so fucking demeaning. So mean. So mean. So demeaning. Bless his heart. An NFL head coach. Anyways, all right. Continue. I mean, bless his heart. Aaron Glenn was talking about how he's excited that the Jets look at the ball to start the second half. They were not, in fact, getting the ball to start the second half that they were kicking off, which that is really bad. You know what, people have been fired over less. People have been fired over less. Or I guess people, when you cite the reason someone got fired, it's things like this that start to be part of the narrative. It's indicative of a larger trend. It's indicative of larger. I'm so glad you mentioned that because here's a, here's a stat from JR near sports. Aaron Glenn has been outscored in the final two minutes of the first half, 97 to six. You like these last minute, two minutes of the first half stats, it's like the essence of coaching. And it's what everyone who says, Matt, it's what Tom, it's just Tom Brady and Bill Bellichick what they think about the first, the last two minutes of the first half. It's just like clock management, you have to actually make decisions, you know. Tom Brady won't shut up about it. When you ask Tom Brady or you ask Bill Bellichick, what are these things, these management things, what are you thinking about? And they have all these things. And then you have Aaron Glenn who's like, out 97 to six. First of all, just statistically, that is so unlikely. Like if you were just average, you know, you're hard on this, you scored 97 to six. I'm impressed that those teams got to 97. And I'm like, damn, that's a lot of points in the final two minutes. He's a defensive coach. Aaron Glenn's like heading into the to the locker room early. I got, what is he doing? Well, maybe he's probably unprepared because he thinks they're getting the ball, so he's confused. He's already thinking about what they're going to do on that first drive next, next half. Oh my God. The worst player decision of the day, I was torn between CJ Gardner Johnson spitting against the Raiders and getting immediately ejected. Yeah, I can't spit. I've never seen any, we should make a list of this actually because it'd be fun. The most universally reviled players in league history, CJ Gardner Johnson, I think, is holding the first. He's got the bell right now. Like nobody likes this guy. No, including teammates. No, that's what I'm saying. Like literally no one likes it. He has to keep changing teams, even though in the past, he's been a good player because they just can't stand being around him. And everybody talks shit about him. I'm trying to think there's been, it's always defenders. It's like corners and safeties, everyone fucking hates him because they just chirp constantly. Yeah. CJ Gardner Johnson's got to be one of them. Oh man. I got to think I got to make, make a list. Probably Russell Wilson. Right. Well, he wasn't, he wasn't to this level. He's not spitting on people. No, no, sure. But yeah, Kyle Yuschek, I've had you said, he like, people are coming out talking on Twitter about how much they hate this guy like in the moment. Kyle Yuschek, he's been on me too. The LJ Collier, the Cardinals, they had a, Matt Stafford, they strip-sacked him on two-point conversion. And the defense returns that you can get a point, actually, if you go all the way down and score on a two-point conversion. And the defense attack will picks up the ball and starts running. And they're all the guys are running with the like, give me the ball. You're slow. And they, all the safeties and quarterbacks. They're like running in circles around him. Yeah. And he's like, fuck that. This is my moment. I think it's like, you see those big hawks? You see like a hawk or an eagle or something and then there's like 12 birds flying around and like trying to like fucking get away from their nest, you know, and I was like, what he was, what was happening? He's like, never, I just, you don't practice that. But the best one was probably, did you see the car, the Carolina Panther who pulled down Dallas, Goddard's pants? Oh, I don't think I saw that. Oh, my God. Well, here's a link. Watch it. Who do I want to? You want to see Dallas, Goddard's ass? Loading question. Pulls his pants down. It's just like upper third, just upper crack. Yeah. It's upper crack. But he just kind of grabs his, he's like, basically the Jersey's really high and he realized he does anything we're going to grab on to just kind of grabs on low and they just kind of pull. I don't know. Express, that doesn't happen more. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Express, you don't see more weighing on Sundays. Quite honestly, weighing, motherfucking, chunk, yeah. You think there'd be more weighing happening? I got it right. I'm so Derek Henry's ass, but we never, we never see anyone's weighing. You're right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Can you remember seeing a weighing on a game? No. No, I can't. Sometimes they, they record too soon. Sometimes people, some people have been, you know, some of those pre-game locker room videos. Be back. You know. Interesting. Interesting. Yeah. Celebration of the day, did you guys see Travis Hunter celebration? It was like a minute long. Oh, my God. That's a good laugh. It's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like a real dance number. It was just like, I actually really enjoy when that happens and all the teammates are standing around just fucking waiting for you to finish, this will they can celebrate with you. Yeah. Yeah. You got like one guy looking at his watch. It took like 15 seconds. I don't know, man. It feels like we're wasting a lot of time. It was very, very, yeah. Highly choreographed. They're like, we got to cut to commercial here. It's still hitting us. It's going forward 10 seconds and you do it twice and he's still fucking dancing. I just think it's so funny seeing the teammates. Like I don't know what to do with my hands.
Well, he's celebrating for 25 seconds. The best thing that happened today, which we didn't talk about, but we have to mention is the Josh Allen absolute preposterous flick to Keon Coleman. This guy tied Jim Kelly from the touchdown pass to the bill's history. That was when he was doing it, I was like, this is stupid, and then it was like the coolest thing ever. Right. No, no, no, no. Yes. Yes. Exactly. He flipped that thing farther than I can probably kick a field goal. It was like backhand. It was impressive. Like the physics of it. By favorite comments on the video, we're like, Ken, too, without that foreign period. Right. Like the way he flipped it, I'm like, Jesus. Next category, Lucille Bluth, I don't understand the stat line, and I will respond to it. I would just like to say kudos to us for not really talking about the chargers for the entire episode. I usually, one of our main categories is like, holy shit, the chargers are a dumpster fire. We took, we took a week off because it was the same shit once again, but now that we're two hours in, there were, there were a couple great charger stats today after once again another pathetic performance and a lost the chiefs. Okay. Terrific. Here are a few. The 2026 chargers are the first team to start Owen six, average 15 or fewer points per game and have 15 plus giveaways since the 2009 Titans, which started Owen six with Kerry Collins and Jeff Fisher was the head coach and that team finished eight and eight. Wow. So you're saying there's a chance. Well, they benched Kerry Collins for events young, I believe. Okay. He punked Mattias Q and Nuka on a fourth down, it was a nightmare. Here's another one. Quarterbacks to start a season Owen six with 10 plus giveaways and 15 plus sacs taken over the last 30 years, Justin Herbert 2026 Eli Manning, 2013, hmm, washed Eli Manning. Hall of Famer. And then I told you why I take by the way, which is Eli not making all things better. Yeah. Yeah. That's like the most Eli Manning thing that could happen. The other one is that no quarterback has, has thrown an interception in each of the first six weeks of the season this decade, except Justin Herbert. And they get worse every time, but Kim Ward didn't do that this year or last year. You didn't say the stat I thought you were going to say, which one? Chargers have not been Owen six since 2000. Do you know who the quarterback was for the 2000 charges that went Owen six? Oh, I just figured it out, let go and do it. I don't know who you know. Do I, is it a coach, you know, I'll give you one guess. I don't know. I'm not making the connection. Tell me. Tell me, Jimmy Harbaugh. He was. Oh my god. The reaction was great. That crossed my mind and I was like, now it can't be Jim Harbaugh. It was his 37 year old season. Wow. Wow. I didn't know that. I did not know that Harbaugh was a quarterback. I'm sure. That's some real full circle shit. It's Jim Harbaugh started Owen five, Ryan Leef is one and eight. I think McDonald's getting fired soon. I mean, he didn't, yeah, they asked him about it in the presser and he didn't deny it. Yes. They're all in six, like at some point, they have to do something. The fact that Adam Gase is the one that's going to take over is really funny. God. But I don't know what else they have, what, what else they would do. Like they are completely inept and I know, like you didn't, like everything's going wrong. I can't believe how cursed they are. Like even like Lad Maconkey, the first like play of the game is like a 15 year I passed the Maconkey concussion. And you're just like, God damn dude, I have to tell you Lad Maconkey the last month or so has, has not ascended, descended to I don't even expect him to finish a drive never mind again. Yeah. He's like taped together with Scotch tape. I was good. I know I was going to be like, oh, we should burn Lad Maconkey and then I realized that we burned all of the churches. I know. We that was smart. We saved it. It's the same thing. There's a lot of time. No, they're a nightmare. Dude, they're going to probably have the first pick in the draft. I mean, the Cardinals won. It's going to be like them and Miami. I guess. Maybe crazy. No, the first pick is always hard. It's like one of those, you forget like two wins really, really completely changes. Dude, where? Yeah. Adam Gase is going to have him cooking. Maybe. Can't be worse, you cannot be worse. Everything's relative. Hey, hey, it always can get worse. It's a cardinal rule of the show. Other stats I don't understand is the Browns are winning the AFC North. Maybe we should have mentioned that earlier, but it's right winning the division and beat the Ravens today. Jerry Judy is making big plays to set them up for the game winning field goal. Yeah. The Browns play the Titans next week. The Browns can be five and two and then they play the Steelers. Browns can be a six and two. There you are. Steelers are also four and two, but yeah, they lost the fucking Browns. I mean, I'm just, it's crazy. The Ravens blocked that kick too at the end and then they were super outside, but it was super illegal of them to do it, but they blocked it. If you're the number one pick in the draft, would you want to go to the Browns, your quarterback? Would you want to go to the Browns at the Jets? Whoa. Uh, honestly, go back to school. That's not one of the options. No. Pray to answer a question. Yeah. And yet it is because you know who did that? I think Manning had the Jets and I'm just thinking that's not what Craig asked you. You went back. Sure. They're going. Arch is going to go back. Okay. Craig asked you a question. Is what happened here? I'm asking you if you want, if you had to choose between playing for the Jets or the Browns next year as a rookie quarterback, which team would you pick? I think it's the Browns. I think Todd Monkins, like a pretty good coach. He's older, but like, I think it's the Browns. I don't know though, because the Jets probably have better players, which is important. But I also, I don't know, I guess because the coach is probably not going to be Aaron Glenn. So the coach is right, Declan Doyle having a tight end line up at left guard and running our little route. I don't know. You can. What would you do? God. Probably the Jets. I guess I pick the Jets too, but my, but my point in this exercise is that I don't know because then I actually don't think either of the two options are that bad anymore. I'm like, no, they, they absolutely are. What? You think so? No, just because of organizational DNA. I would rather go to the Browns or the Jets than the Titans. You don't have to insult them, right? Now they're the first place in the division. You should be talking about who the Browns are going to play, hosting the playoffs. Yeah. They got good young players. Monkins, cooking. Jets do too. Good young players. I don't know. It's not as dire as it used to be for the Browns and the Jets from like a roster standpoint right now. Yeah. Currently. Jets might be a good opening. And then I mean, the bar is low. We just go, you kick off, receive. What are you doing in the second half? The deckland or that was a cool play the rims did with it. He lined the tight end up at left guard off the line of scrimmage, which made him an eligible receiver. Now the quarterback didn't get obliterated and then the tight end right on his play. Yeah. You can do that one time. I'm surprised that Jargers didn't try that and Herbert didn't crack three more ribs. How many teams try that and it looks like that that Pat McAfee play where they go. Yeah. It's fine. Try that. One one last stat that was unbelievable from Sean's side at Sumer Sports was that Jordan love had 109 passing yards on green base for a strived this week, which is more passing yards than Boenix or Kim board had in all of week six. Yeah. Boenix is lucky. He played on Thursday night. Yeah. Again. Sam Darnold. Yeah. Close to the Loveland Cuck chair of the week. I just want to note, you know, the Jaguar is at 31 points. So obviously Brian Thomas must have played a snap in the second half, right? Right. Do Brian Thomas hasn't had a catch in two weeks? I mean, he's, is he, how deep of a leak can you cut him in? 10. 10. 10. Okay. I got him in a 14 team league and let me tell you, I think I have to fucking cut him. I mean, he didn't play in the second half. He's unplayed. He's unplayed. Yeah. I guess you're able to play 16 team. Maybe right. I, I, I think I have to cut him in a 14 team league because I need to play somebody and he can't. Is he going to get traded? That's. Yeah. Probably. They should. I mean, it's like literally like they're not trying to make sure he's not hurt. So they can trade him. They should trade him. I mean, at this point, he's literally deaf, except Josh Cameron is better than him. He's like to, honestly, he's the fifth receiver on the team. And I fifth wide receiver. He's like the ninth receiving option on the state. Yeah. He's behind Nate Borkertcher. And there are teams who could definitely use him, same as the school of Kansas City. Speaking which, uh, two Titans, so I scored Kyle pits in a lie, two Titans did not outscore Kyle pits this week. He was the number two. Pits, cooks with penics. Pits and penics, dude. I Pits. He does. I cook and. It's a three times. In the last two weeks. So instead, I'm going to do two, two receivers to ask where Jalen Waddle and a lie. Savian Thomas. Yep. Marvin Harris in junior. And AJ Brown. Shit.
Jay Brown. Two of those men outscored Jay the model this week. I kind of think AJ Brown didn't say I got Thomas Marvin Harris to junior AJ Brown to two of them outscored Jill while I'm going to say Marvin Harrison Jr. and AJ Brown both outscored him. I'm going to say Xavier Thomas and Marvin Harrison did. I can't remember I can't remember any of AJ Brown's catches us too. So I did this wrong. I'm immediately realizing I did it wrong. Okay. Only one of them outscored Jay the model. Okay. I think it was Marvin Harrison Jr. All right. Cool. AJ Brown did not outscored Jay the model this week. Jay the model had four and a half points. They all sucked. They all had four points. Yeah. Disaster. I traded a model for Quincheon Judkins who was hurt this week and didn't even play and I had a better experience. Yeah. It's because you can put other people in your line up. Yeah. It's great. And I have to fucking hate. I watched that Thursday night game with like a cigarette in a cocktail watching Jay the model having a fucking blast. Oh, my God. So burn book. We burned AJ Brown a week one. Coastal Loved in a week two. Drake May and week three. All of the charges a week for which we've never done a whole team. Jay the model week five. Who do you guys want to burn this week? I have some candidates. We mentioned Bonix. Oh, who, you know, is unplayable. And I think people probably drafted him thinking he was going to be like a sneaky, you know, top 10. You would take him. But it was like you were debating Brock Purdy or Bonix in drafts. You know, Kim Scataboo. I think she'd be mentioned. Roma Doonsay is a guy. We haven't really talked about a whole lot who people have been waiting on. It's now six straight weeks with Caleb or without. It's not really happening. Yep. What do you guys think? I was going to say Mark Andrews. Oh, just ripped that bandaid off. Never want never put him in your line up. Ever again. Is he though? But is anybody playing Mark Andrews? I unfortunately have been a little yes. And I don't know why. I don't know why I keep convincing myself that he's going to do anything. He had one catch for four yards. Yeah. I'm such an idiot. It just looks better than him at times. It's so funny that Isaiah likely is like fucking tearing the cover off the ball for the Giants and Mark Andrews. I think despite all that, the answer is, is Kim Scataboo. You just called him a by-law. I think he is a by-law. Well, everyone on this list technically is a by-law. But I think Scataboo is a different guy. The idea was we do this so we don't ever think to put him in our line up. He's right. Like burn book is like, you're dead. I know. I just had no points today and you probably, like, here's why I'm looking at Yahoo. Scataboo is played in 85% of the lineups and I didn't see that. Yeah. Is he dead to people? I think he's dead to, I think he's a by- I don't, I see he can't be in the by-law. He's not a he can't be a bird. He can't be a burn book person. And you think he's just going to come back and be a worthwhile player. I did that for trick me three weeks ago. And Colston Lovelin, we kind of did that. We've completely lost all the sense of what the burn book is. The burn book is not, now that I think about it, the burn book is not like we could never see this player being good again. The burn book is just like, I've had it. I'm over it. I hate this person. They're in the book. My okay, that's fair. I think that that's very true. My sort of, the way that I envisioned the burn book is Craig shooting off a tweet after he traded away Jalen Waddle of what was in it called, Kenan, after some Chris like just so happy to be done with that person in your life. You don't want to have anything to do with them ever again. You don't want to think about them. There's someone else's problem now. And so that's to me why Mark Andrews needs to be here. But I, because I think some people are going to hold on hope that scattered was just in the doghouse and he's going to come back and be good. I, yeah, I feared that Mark Andrews was like, he is just in a relevant waiver wire tie to end. So it's like, do you want to waste a burn on that? How many, how many people started Mark Andrews? I, if it's, can you look that up? So Andrews is only, Andrews is rostered in fewer percentage of leagues that scattered who's played it. Andrews roster 75 is played in one of the three leagues. Can I not throw up Bownex? Who's the QB 28? Bownex is there too. Bownex is a good one of the four leagues. Yeah. I mean, dude. But he's also like, I mean, Ryan Fitzpatrick burned him. I mean, we didn't even talk about that. But Ryan Fitzpatrick fucking shredded Bownex a new asshole. Well, like if you, he was like, he's playing dishonorable football. Yeah, like, when you're just like, I assume you should now commit Seppaku, because if you, if you look at like Bownex is like scheduled, it's like week one, he was horrible. He had five points against the chief. And you're like, all right, right now one off. Let's, let's get back at it. He puts up 14 against the jobs. You're like, okay, I'll, I'll give him one more week. And then he puts up 24 against the Rams. And you're like, great. This is the Bownex since then 13, seven and four. He's murdering you. And you've probably started him a lot more until maybe this past week because they played Seattle. I don't know. Terrible, dude. He's behind, he scored less points than fucking Malig Willis. The one that killed, yeah, the one that killed him. I think that's, I think he's fair to, I think he's fair. If you play Bownex on Thursday against the Seahawks though. Yeah, I know, but he shouldn't have already known, though, you know, like he deserves to be in the book, but I get it. You probably didn't start him this week. It's I see where you're saying that the burn book almost feels incomplete without Bownex. Right. Like he is a, yeah, we're going to have a burn book for 2026 and not include. Maybe we do like an honorable induction ceremony where people who we didn't have time for the schedule didn't work out, we include them at the end of the year. Yeah, I think, I think Bownex, I can see Bownex going in. Skataboo though. I mean, people started Skataboo this week. They are. I will say the thing that I will just say about Skataboo. And again, maybe he bounces back. I guess there's opportunity from the going later. The thing I'll say about Skataboo is 14 points a week one. And then it's 7, 11, 7, 6, and 0. Yeah. That's like prime bird, but we can do Bownex. Let's do Cam. Let's do Cam. We just talked about Bownex being the burn brick being incomplete without him. I know, but you made a good point about the Seahawks thing. People probably weren't playing him. People probably started Cam Skataboo today. And we're devastated. They probably lost because of the snaps. Yeah. I think Skataboo is the answer. It's going to be some shotguns happening tonight because of scam. Cam Skataboo. He didn't have a carry. Yeah. I love that. Harba was like, it's not a punishment. And then he's cut to Cam Skataboo. And like, where's that punishment? He's like, yeah. Oh my god. All right. Skataboo, you're in the bird book. That breaks my heart. Yeah. Okay. Thank you, DK. Thank you, Craig. Thank you, Cam. Thank you, Austin. Thank you to kill. Thank you to whoever in advance is going to help us have DK kick a field goal five out of 10 times from 33 yards. If you're in LA and you have access to a football field that has an upright, you know, regulation size. Yeah. And we need to kick an NFL sized football, right? I get a cable, right? Like a kicker ball. Like I get like the juice you want. Yeah. Give me one of them juice balls. Sure. You can deflate it. Inflate it. Whatever you want. It makes it for 50 years. You're like, wow. Dave Chang drafts you next year. Thank you, Lord. Lord. Lord. DK, you are up guilty. I'm sure songs you're embarrassed about last week or last episode. Hyphids did sucker for pain, which is a song from the movie Suicide Squad. Right. I'm going to go a little more mainstream on this one. Okay. I'm going to go with apologize by one republic. Oh, it's too late to apologize. Oh, yeah. It's too late. I feel like if you hear that in your car, you're belting it out too late to apologize. Is that it? Does that one start where it's like? Yeah, no, no, mommy six feet. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Timberland had a Timberland had an all time run. Oh, Timberland produced those. Yeah. He produced this one anyway. Oh, yeah. That's a good one, DK. You know you're belting that out. Don't get denied it. It's a song that if it, you know, people still listen to the radio, where if it came on the radio and it was the beginning of the song, I would change the channel. But if it's about to hit the quarter, if I change the channel to this, to this channel and it was in the chorus, I'd stick around. I don't want to wait to get there. But yeah, that's fair. They got a couple of big ones counting stars. Remember that one? Oh, yeah. Well, be counting stars. Fagley. That was big. Yeah. Is that one just called counting stars? Yeah. Oh, there coming no Washington, December 14th. All right. Public. Okay. Still touring, huh? Good for them. That's a good one. It's too late. That's me. That's too late to apologize. It should be the fish song of the bird book. It should be actually. Scared of it. It's too fucking late to apologize. Yeah, when we do the Instagram on Austin book.
