We're comparing our best bets because it is Thursday, 11 a.m. Eastern time and here is when we are getting those locks out. You know the deal, you get up the likes, like the video, like the video, like the video. We give you the locks, locks, who knows, they could be moving the lines. It is a dynamite week six slate, so we're not going to waste too much time with pleasantries. We need to jump right into the review of the week that was week five for the Cover 3 podcast, but Elliott, a two and four week for you, the three stars just keep crushing. I mean, the man is is buoyed in this competition by his ability to identify and then cash in his very best bet of the week. This time it was pit Virginia Tech over 54 and a half. Joe came in with the Ohio State first half minus seven and a half and took a late push. Thanks to TCU, TCU plus seven. The losses for Bud, that team total under 22 and a half for Northwestern, Maryland plus 15. The lock fight lost for the Cami as he took the over in the service academy game and then also losing Michigan minus five. We remember how that worked out for the Wolverines, two and four for the week Bud. What are the takeaways? Yeah, a little lighter car didn't love the board that week, but the losses were bad. Obviously Northwestern sailed over, Maryland thought they moved it well and then obviously pick sixes and lockpunts, no way to cover. 15 had to hit the text obviously on the fight and I would certainly bet TCU again there. The pick six really changed that game. I think TCU was a better team in that matchup, but they still lost. 14, I guess, think out of the five stars. Three stars. Don't be at more stars. Yeah. I understand that we're down. We can't. They're creating brain. Yeah. We got to keep the, that's right. Check out the recruiting show. As always, on Wednesday, a new episode should be right there in your feed and available on YouTube with Bud and Andrew Ivans. Six and three week for me, caching in on that Alabama Mississippi state over the Michigan state team total under 16 and a half George State Del's boys ain't playing. Thought I told you that was a win. That was my first three star lock of the season that I was able to win. Also over 53 and a half. Thank you to the Deeks. You are heroes. The under 45 and a half in North Dakota State, Wyoming and the under 48 in BC in BYU TCU took a loss on the bar fight in that Florida Missouri game and that was one that I came out with all kinds of injuries, not even close. Then first half under 24 and a half Notre Dame, North Carolina wasn't great. The under 48 in Miami, Clemson Hertz, you know, Tate Reynolds throws a pick six for that one to be able to go over. That one's brutal for our UNIT Y, but six and three week for me, 25 and 23 for the season. DK, four in five for you. We mentioned you were with us on the UNIT Y, the loss on the pick six. So a lock fight loss Virginia Tech blowing that early lead against Pitt. You do get a lock fight win in Ohio State, Iowa under 45 and a half. And of course, the bar fight win. You are on the right side. You said Missouri plus five and a half, they did need that Northwestern plus three. Love to see that. But then three star loss Arizona State minus four Baylor just absolutely gave them the business. USC also Arizona also on the winning side USC Alabama for Alabama Mississippi State first have underwear losses. What do we take away from a busy, busy colorful card for you? I hate the three star locks. That's my takeaway. I've only had one. I probably should have researched that Arizona State was coming back from London. I know they had a buy before they looked a little hungover, so just a warning there. And maybe the greatest under when ever from Ohio State, Iowa, the respect under, respect your opponent under Tom was celebrating that over at the end of the third quarter. And I said, hold on a second, baby, hold on a second. Never a doubt that Iowa, Ohio State under was going to win celebrating is like sending an undertaker gift saying that the over is back alive is not the same thing as celebrating the over. It's just like I suddenly had a chance after not having won for the first two and a half quarters. I think you're right. I think that was respect, you know, like Ryan Day, it's sending letters to the kids. He's going to be our spec for me. This is so respectful. I would, I have not always thought this. We've covered Ryan Day for a long time. I don't know if I would have always had him on my list to invite to a dinner party, but maybe now, you know, just seeing how respectful he was of his time in Iowa City. Tom, for you, it was a five and six week that much discussed on last week's Locks pod that you were either agreeing or fighting damn near every single person on the show. Here's how it comes out in the wash. The pit is a lock, pit plus three and a half is a lock fight win. The Navy Air Force under is a lock fight win. Georgia State. What's up? My guy lock agreement win the BYU TCU under boom. There we go. Three star lock wins can happen. And then on an island, you cash it in at Temple, USF under that's another winner. The loss on the Miami Clemson under the loss on the over in Ohio State Iowa, losing on Florida, losing on Michigan minus five, losing on USC minus nine and a half and losing on the Purdue, Illinois, over takeaways on what we saw last week. I mean, it was very close to a very healthy winning week, you know, we talked about the pick six at the end of Miami Clemson that killed that Ohio State Iowa finished at 45 had, you know, Iowa, maybe not giving up late Ohio State would have been forced to kick field goal or maybe if Ohio State had made a field goal earlier in the game, that would have cast Michigan, never really had a chance USC had chances, but they just didn't convert. And then the Purdue, Illinois game was wild because I didn't think there would be many punts in that game and there weren't. They just didn't score any points either. Yeah. That's the ball was moving scoreboard one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Really, really tough scene there. But we got to get that behind because as I mentioned to these guys earlier, we can't linger on what was we've got to be able to just eyes ahead, spot the ball. Do I ask you gentlemen, you already lug it up? Yes, sir, since 2005, the under the games between Service Packers is 40-9-1. Give me an over and this one as well, little two for one special I was sicker last week y'all were watching good games I was live bedding a hill at a ULM talking my blue plate special five star locks are coming five star master lock Lock it I'm living to die on every point every cup From the locking chair to your eyes and ears fired up to get this thing going for week six week six Obviously already officially underway as we had a little Tuesday Wednesday night action, which does bring us To some Kiyosa Here on a Thursday night Missouri State travel and go play Western Kentucky Sam Houston going to play liberty Then we've also got some action with USF taken on UTSA South Alabama against Arkansas State four games boys on a Thursday Let's take a look at that first before we get to a Friday with some power conference teams Anyone got a Thursday night lock I decay I do as well, but you lead us off Do you guys know my Group of six representative for the college football playoff was the UTSA roadrunners? Owen McCown last year. He's a third year starter, which is rare to get them to keep that Player at the school. Are you guys aware? They're selling they had a ticket special for nine dollar tickets to get into the game Do you guys know why? Well, what is the nine dollars nine nine heart lines number at Ohio State? Brian Hartline number nine. Do you guys aware that Brian Hartline accused? The Alamo dome of pumping in crowd noise wondering allowed. How could it be so loud in there? That's accused? That is yes When he was at playing some role made that accusation. So Alamo dome gets loud Give me UTSA. I think South Florida. They're on the they're lost the temple is not great. FIU game was close I think UTSA is gonna roll and you know what? Let me just get it out of the way early. Oh, let me make it my three star lock of the week. Get it up on the board early Six and a half okay UTSA minus six and a half glad we can get that six and a half I'm not telling you or the market anything that you don't know about the Everness Alamo dome and look, it's not just a performance like Owen McCown splits Home in a way. It's it's very very different This is a South Florida offense that is trying to transition from being you know Obviously Alex goalishes offense to Brian Hartline who wants to go slower He wants to try to play a little manball. And you know what it's not working is it's scoring points and being able to be Effective being able to be truly truly dangerous. So This is Jeff trailer trying to get his UTSA defense to the point where they're gonna be able to go out there Call some problems for Van Buren stop the run be able to put them in negative situations and look the bull's defense I do think has done a pretty good job But I wonder if the statistical profile of USF's defensive success is a little bit informed by some of the Offenses they have been playing and I wonder if this Owen McCown UTSA offense playing in St. Antonio is going to be a pretty tough test for them I like that we get this under a touchdown. I will I'll join you there DK. I know our locker agreements aren't always great But I you're on it. I'm not gonna three-star it, but I'm also taking the minors Another man's the roadrunners meet meet here on a Thursday Who knew there would be so much action on UTSA USF this week? Because I also have a play for this game. All right. I'm I'm not taking the spread Give me the under 50 and a half USF unders are just an ATM right now like it's the market continues to be a little too high This team is moving very slowly and they're not moving very effectively. So under 50 and a half What have we lose What happened to Bud? What happened to Bud? Bud froze. So I took him out. Oh, okay. Get him out of here Does he have anything on this I don't know I just start can I make picks for him help us catch up Well, I mean, we're not that we just we just need him to lose some three stars Like on a on a win-law standpoint where we're kind of all did you know operating in the same uh in the same world Buds three star lock of the week is Stanford straight up gets gets Notre Dame That's it. Okay. Um, I've got some some more on Thursday. Does anybody else have anything else on Thursday No, okay So we have yes, okay, we're good. Do you have anything on the on the bulls and uh in the road runners? No, I know Number of matters here like you can get six and a half you can get seven so make make sure you find the right spot Great, um on CBS Sports Network seven p.m. kickoff Uh, I want you to not just get here for kickoff of this game I want you to maybe even tune in for the pregame show a little six thirty p.m. Eastern time might see some frenzyers Over on CBS Sports Network as they are getting you set for Missouri State and Western Kentucky. We have discussed the toppers A lot actually maybe more is it's one of those situations where we're talking about the team more But that's not a good thing just because of how how short of expectations the performance has been for Western Kentucky so far So they're back home in a real gut check Saturday or gut check Thursday and Missouri State comes to town Both of these teams are dealing with some injuries here y'all remember King Henry Henry Bealon the fourth remember he came in for Duke and like help them out There's some some gutsy wins a couple years ago back. I think in late Mike Elco era that weight game What we're both both both the starter and the backup route. Yeah. Yeah, so we're in We're in a lot of backup quarterback injured offensive line type situations here For Missouri State and Western Kentucky things aren't great. Hill toppers offense hasn't been great Because of the teams we're dealing with obviously Casey Woods former SMU assistant who's gonna have an offense that it's gonna have that kind of You know high tempo high rating and Western Kentucky at one time historically is able to go out there and And move the football, but with the injury situation and with the way that they have been performing I think the numbers off. I'm gonna go first half under 28 and a half in Missouri State Western Kentucky Hmm If you can't block and we're down to backup quarterbacks I mean And is that too easy that that can be difficult. Yeah. Okay. That's what I was kind of I mean Obviously pick sixes fumbles all those things are always the the worst enemy of a of an under but at I was looking at the total for the full game and then ultimately I think we've got a better number getting that first half as we deal with settling in with our injuries on both of these Offences first half under 28 and a half Missouri State Western Kentucky again, you can watch that one on CBS Sports Network Okay, anything else for Thursday Yeah, Arkansas State minus two and a half That's a yes. All right. Cool. Let's go. I think they have the QB edge here And they're playing at home getting a couple defensive backs back. I looked at the injury report before we came on so Couple two and a half slept. I'm gonna fire on that All right, there we go on to Friday night Florida State going to play Louisville Washington State against Utah State Iowa heads out to Seattle and Wyoming against San Jose State and Iowa State against The BYU again this Friday night slate looking pretty tasty. So who wants to get a bite for their locks card Danny Oh, I just throw it up to me. You think you just yeah, you're gonna do it right not. I'm not gonna do it I'm not gonna do it well I'll be rooting for it and I might bet it on my own just to add some more juice to it already I actually am gonna take one side of that bet that's suggested on the screen. Give me Washington, Iowa under Um, I do. I mean, Iowa unders for me. I think I'm doing already picking those on the season Jeremy Hickland ski most likely getting the nod over Hank Brown. That's probably gonna happen, right Um, yeah, it sounds very much like that will be the case and that is for those you make that What's that? How much of a downgrade do you make that? I mean, I don't think there's that much difference I mean, I know they like them both But I just don't think the offense is gonna put up that many points and I don't think demand well I think they're very disciplined. I don't think they're gonna get them on Williams Yeah, the pick six actually concerns me there What do isn't this a injury and perform like you for those who might not be aware He showed up on the injury, but we got AC joint. This is a shoulder injury for Hank Brown So him not playing you know, could be is is that as much as he's not getting benched. I don't know if right Oh, yeah, he left the field right. Okay. Yeah Um, anybody else got Washington, Iowa Oh, I think it's priced right Um I don't know or LJ Martins out Maybe even for a couple weeks, right? We're talking about some of the BYU players who are leaving the field with injuries I don't think we they could be on upset alert, but I'm not gonna make it a lock Upset alert intends. Oh, you've peaked my interest. We're gonna be paying attention A lock is something I'm a little bit more confident in I do feel confident that Iowa State can come bring a real fight to BYU early. I just don't think that they've got the depth to be able to last 60 minutes in Provo. I'm going to lock up Iowa State first half plus seven. That's a good number. Yeah, I was seven in the first half. Oh, let me pull this up to look at the spread. The spread on the game is 10 and a half. How could it check me? Yeah, better odds is a couple of sevens out there. Wow. Well, you know what? I mean, I was going to lock up Iowa State plus 10 and a half for the entire game. But if I can get a touchdown in the first half off of a 10 and a half in the full 60, I'll give me the first half. Lock agreement. All right. That is wild. I mean, total got bet down under here. Pretty good. You know, I was kind of one of those ones where you knew it wasn't going to last the Thursday show and, like, agreed. Like, there's a lot of points, not locked agreement, but like, it makes sense. Like, you know, points are more valuable with lower total game. That's just weird to me. Like, why would it be 10 and a half for the full game, but seven for the first half? My approach to it was, and I mentioned this, I think a little bit earlier in the week, I don't think Iowa State is special. But man, they seem to be playing really like hard locked in together. I think that that, I think Jimmy Rogers has proven to be a good coach. And I think that a well coached team and a look ahead spot can give you a little spark that over the course of 60 minutes could get exposed a little bit as, okay, that was cute. BYU survives. They've, you know, no LJ Martin and they figure out a way to grind it out. And to your point, Tom, yeah, like, looking at the full game was another opportunity. But if I think that BYU eventually will be able to avoid an upset, then the first half at a full touchdown, definitely was shining in the marketplace for me to be able to go and grab. Watch, watch them knock up our first half and then they won't, and then they'll come back in the second. They'll win the game. I'll write for it. And I was no pissed off. That is an interesting thought here because with the overlook to Notre Dame, if BYU's got a lead in the second half, like, how much do you want to run bare? Right? Like, no, you don't have to take right. And like, he, his legs are by far the best part about this offense. They kept his legs, like against TCU. That was clearly the last, like, all right, fine. Pull out the big guns. Just send bare, let him go run around and go win the game. We have 40 yards passing and attacking the screens. We can't throw it down field at all. I know his raining. I get it. Let's run bare. Yeah. We'll be very interesting. All right. What else from Friday night? No Florida State Louisville. Give me Louisville. Yeah. All right. Let's go. I watched that episode game, like, on the coach's computer. I didn't watch it live. And I was shocked at how bad UVA played. I think Pobulo is still hurt. Like, after that hit, he took against West Virginia, like a massive drop off in design runs. He really is not a good thrower of the ball at all. And I think if you, like, towards the end of that first quarter, realized, oh, he, he can't throw. And he's not the same guy that we saw, you know, through the first five quarters against power four teams. So give me Louisville here. I thought, like, a keenhole has played extremely well last week, despite the fact that he was dinged up. I mean, it, it is a, it, it is a gotta have it when Jeff Brown can't lose three games in a row with this team. I mean, I don't even know if he does, but yeah, no, but I'm just saying, like, they were sitting in the driver's seat. Like, where, where are they going to make the playoffs? Ten and two? Oh, this is a two team. Maybe against every opponent. Here we go. Let's put them in our projected bracket at the 11 seed. ACC gets two teams in. I mean, like, I think they'll show up. I think the guys on this team, I don't think you want to get embarrassed by a Florida team where a lot of them are from. Oh, damn it, Ryan. You beat me to it. Yeah. In the must-win can't lose. Give me this as I can't lose. Can't, can't lose. You don't need to win it, because at Buds Point, it's not like Jeff Brown is on an actual hot seat, but you're playing at home on a Friday night against the team with a logo. Like, this is, this is gotta be a game that that Jeff Brown goes out there and finds a way to give them an advantage to win. Danny, do you remember the last time episode you won a conference road game? Yeah, I believe it's three years. It was like, I had a Google exam. It's been so long. I forgot which one it was. It was right before the Georgia screw job. Yeah. Yeah. It was pit in 2023. You know, the Alabama screw job. Sorry, Georgia caught straights there for no reason. It happens. It happens. Okay. So all the Thursday and Friday is cleaned up, right? Yeah. Okay. So we've got to take a break and a quick reminder that the Saturday portion of the lock spot, if maybe you're listening to this right now and you want to watch it as part of your Saturday morning, Saturday portion of the lock spot will be on CBS Sports HQ on Saturday. I was checking out myself last week just to, you know, go through the viewer experience of what everyone watches. Our crew does a great job. Thank you to Striker and Taft and everybody at CBS Sports HQ for being able to get it up. So what we've got for Saturday, you can also catch on CBS Sports HQ. We encourage you to do that as part of your pregame preparation. Coming up on the other side, we turn the page to Saturday, our best, best for week six and more. Back here on the cover three podcast as the week six locks turns our attention to Saturday, slate, and we're going to start with a couple of those headlines. Of course, the game in Tuscaloosa, Georgia and Alabama. We have broken it down extensively on the big game breakdown. Interesting, the way weather works. On Tuesday morning, we're like, hey guys, this might be a weather situation. On Wednesday, it's a full blown. Are they going to cancel the dagum game? And then here on Thursday, as forecasts have started to adjust, correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like we could be dealing with conditions. And certainly if you are going to be in Tuscaloosa, it is going to be difficult. Like you are going to be impacted in some way, shape, or form. But I think we're going to play a game, right? If there was a moment on Wednesday where we wondered if it was going to get played at all, or if it was going to start at 10 Eastern time, because they had to push it back, all things, you know, we wish for nothing but safety. Be careful out there if you are going to be making the trip. But our job is to handicap, predict, and maybe even offer some locks for this game. So who's got a lock? Let's go. I love you, but I was wishing you would shut up and sit at that long intro because I didn't want this total to fall any further as it's been plummeting all week. And I'd like to get it while there's still something left over the number that I'm trying to avoid. So give me the under 51 and a half. You just talked about it. Like the weather is having an impact while it might not be a downpour. And while they might still be able to play the game, it is still a hurricane. It is still going to be very windy. It is still going to impact both of these offences. So under 51 and a half. Yeah, I'm just hoping it drops a little bit lower because I want to fight Tom, but I'd love to get a flat 50. So I'm going to pass this, this could be, Danny, this is actually you actually were in the boiler room. I can just see everybody out there desk like hold, hold, bye, bye, bye, bye, like just waiting for the red and the green blips on the screen. I mean, we're fighting over margins and pennies. I mean, this, this opened what 55? Yeah. Yeah, it makes sense. We get bent down by four. Tom's totally right about about the storm, probably being gone, but the winds staying wind, lady, things should be easier. I agree. I don't think the wind, I don't think the rain is going to be a factor. It might be breezy. I lean towards bud, but my lock is, give me Alabama. I think they're the better team. I think they've been more tested. I'm not completely sold on the Georgia Bulldogs offense being the second coming of the greatest show on turf. No one's argued that. I don't know who tried to sell you that. Some people are saying. I've heard I've heard from some Georgia fans with my critiques of gunner the other day about like the passing offense. I've heard from some Georgia fans that this is I just don't have enough respect for this offense. There's a real real kind of tight if you're just simply saying somebody's good, right? Yes. Like not every single player on every team is amazing or great. Like Gunners and Good College quarterback. He's a good college quarterback. I don't think people are talking enough about Alabama's defense. I think they're the difference in the game. I think Keelan Bullplay. It's a big game for him. He's handled adversity pretty well. I think he's really special. I don't think he makes mistakes that you might see in the spot. I do think he's the difference in this game. And if there is weather, we talked about that. Do you like Georgia's running backs? They're a power game or do you like Keelan's ability to run the football probably leaned toward his dynamic playmaking ability in a game like this. So I'll take BAM. I'll lay the one and a half. But I side I'm good with. I really just was looking to bet over if it got down to 50. What about so side you say you're good with it's regularly priced but this is yeah like if you could have We're gotten BAM+3. you know a while ago then sure but I think this like I would take three on either side and I would pass on anything less than a few ago. Who do you think wins the game? I really don't know I think there are certain type of matchups where you really just have not played athletes of this caliber on either side and like I think this is one of them you know Georgia has really not faced a decent offense so far and Bama has not faced a defense that looks like this so I don't know. Cut this a couple different types of ways ultimately I'm just gonna have ultimately I'm just gonna lay the something that's a little bit closer here so I went back to look at the first halfs of all of these games recently and they have been higher scoring you know like if you think the first half over maybe even would have been a number that's cashed in a lot of these not the SEC championship game clearly that was 14 O Georgia bulldogs kind of had had had ties Simpson and that Alabama offense in Hill early in Atlanta but the other get the regular season games have had some fireworks early but I'm not generally like that. I do think that there is the the prize fight there's the settling in and then there's the pivot and that's where if you've been listening to Lockspot for a while you know that I think that Georgia's pivots are pretty damn good in fact they can be like really really good. I'm gonna go Georgia in the third quarter minus one and a half point. I think half time is sick bro I love this. Yeah half time adjustments is is is where Kirby and the dogs get out there they've been slow starting they have trailed like the the offense in these Alabama games has been all Alabama early and then Georgia kind of climbs its way back in. So yeah we go Georgia first quarter minus a point and a half and maybe a little more on this game later. Third quarter or first quarter. Third quarter. Okay. Yeah. Would you would you rather have okay yeah no okay. One and a half is the most fair price. I think there's like that's what I saw yeah and I saw the juice on it but yeah the half is out of range. Yes. Far be it for me to ever question your you know pre-flop bets but on third quarters. Yeah like Alabama's favored by a point and a half in the game but you're gonna lay a point and a half with Georgia in the third quarter. Yes that is correct. If I'm really gonna treasure map this I go Alabama first half Georgia third quarter Georgia full game. That's the full treasure map for me. Alabama first half Georgia third quarter Georgia game. I think I think that I think Kaelin puts his cards on the table. I think Alabama has that place going nuts and I think slowly but surely you look up and you're like wait a second did Alabama just have two straight three and outs? Wait a second was that a seven minute touchdown drive and they just come clawing back into this game to give us a real a classic finish that is my script as I imagine it and all of those different pieces the piece that I feel the best about is the Georgia third quarter. Chip you know how who else is in opinion on this game. All right boys here we go. The talk out of Oxford is that the Rebels defense has come to come to Jesus a week off. Basically he thinks Ole Miss plays well but doesn't trust the rug game that Lacey and they got him on soon coming to he's gonna he's gonna pass on the game now to Bam. Bam. It's one and a half home teams have had success these big matchups in this season of our this season. I think the trend continues here to emoji lock emoji or lock emoji. And then he also adds in Tennessee Arkansas under 51 and a half Arkansas total offense ranks 116. That is up there with the likes of Oklahoma Michigan and Clemson. I can't see them getting much studying as Tennessee's defense. I think UT looks to run game control this game of uncertainty QB throwing potential rains. I love this under. All right. I need to hold on. I mean this this really is a waste of y'all's time but I need to make sure we get this straight on the on the dock. Okay. So Tom what do you have me at? On what? Georgia third quarter minus one quarter minus one and a half. No no no it's third I mean I need third quarter money line minus 108. That's what I see. Okay nice. So just Georgia third quarter pick. Yeah Georgia third quarter pick. What's the clean way to write this? Yes. Okay. Okay. That that makes far more sense to me. Got it. Yeah. Okay. All right. See we got to get this straight. Then anything else on Bama Georgia? No. Okay. Good luck to both teams. We're rooting for you. Big time on CBS heads out to Eugene Oregon, Austin Stadium for the buzz in Bruins as they arrived to town looking to bring the fight to the 2024 Big 10 champions UCLA. While their head coach and a lot of their players did play in this stadium against this team in the college football playoff a year ago. That game as we've detailed extensively went the ducts way. UCLA Oregon big time. It's a game you can watch on CBS America's most watching network the network of stars. You can stream it on Paramount Plus. Who's got a luck? Just me. Tom. I do. Okay go. Give me the under. Let me see where I can get it at now just in case it's moved. 58 and a half. Yeah. Give me the under 58 and a half. We talked about it in the big game breakdown. UCLA's offense has been very good at running the football, but they are very much a one-dimensional team when they have to get to the drop-back and they are not nearly as effective. I think Oregon will do a decent job of making them have to get into drop-back situations more than they're comfortable with at least far more than they have had to at any point this season. And I mean with Oregon's offense, we know that Dante Morris out. We know that Dylan Reola is in. I could see this game being like Oregon 42 to 10. I could also see it being a closer lower scoring affair with UCLA kind of using its rushing attack to limit possessions and try to keep this one close to give it a shot. So I like under 58 and a half. Interesting. Danny, bud, I've got something here. Do you all have anything? Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and lay it with the ducks. Best number I can get here is -11. So going into ducks by 11, I do think UCLA is like so much improved in the Nicos playing really well, but my preseason concerns about UCLA have not been fully answered and like part of that was offensive line, right? And I don't know how they will handle this Oregon defensive line. They've also given up a lot of explosive plays through the air. And look, well, while Reola was throwing the ball a lot shorter than Dante Moore was, I still think like Oregon remains really explosive on offense, and I think they'll hit a couple. They also faced this basically exact same team last year in the playoff. He's not basically the exact same team, but I understand you're calling it. Well, I huge upgrade a quarterback and like you have some better defensive players too. Same. They have, they've got good prep for it. Same staff, some of the same players. It was, what was it, 35 to three when everybody turned on Bears Packers in the second quarter? Yes, that's when I turned down the Bears Packers game. Right. Yeah. Danny, nothing? No, I had to let the children sing with Bud. Yeah, we're all in one together, but we're going to get to five. We're going to get to five. Let's go. Let's go. I think this is where Oregon's defense finally shows up. I think they start to showcase some of the physicality that we thought if they don't, I am majorly concerned, but I do think people have written off Oregon too soon. I think they're a little bit too one dimensional with the run game. I don't know if Niko's designed to, you know, pick apart this Oregon defense if, like the way Maddox mats and did, Maddox mats and put on a clinic when he was with Boise State running some play action, getting the ball out of his hands quick. I don't know if I trust Niko to do that. I don't think Dylan Raola is much of a drop off at all. Like Bud said, I think their offense will still be pretty explosive, so I do think the ducks will roll. Okay. Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight. See, I just don't think, I don't think this game is ever going to be over. You know, like you, oh, oh, you thought you had that locked? You thought you had, you thought you killed off UCLA and then, I mean, this is going to be some real Friday the 13th Jason stuff, all right? You think that you've killed UCLA, but you haven't killed UCLA. And as long as UCLA is out there running that tag on football, I mean, that's the thing, right? When you're sitting here with an experienced team and the experienced team is like so used to winning by so much like this Oregon team does when they're playing at home, you're just going to assume that no one's going to break into your house. And here comes UCLA breaking into your house in spooky season. They're never going to be dead. And at 11 and a half, I don't know. You're making me nervous. I just got to be nervous. You're not going to be able to kill these Bruins UCLA. Best number you have. My knife is not in my desk. I don't know where it is, but I kind of wish I had it right now to protect myself. There's no 12 chips. Let's go. So you're nervous. Imagine how nervous I've been this whole show. Thank God, blood didn't do a sicko mode pick and I had to start dancing. - That's amazing. What if Chip didn't like you say like, what game were we gonna break this out for? - What the knife? - Yeah. - No, it came to me as I was thinking about this game and writing my notes. I was like, I just don't, I truly think that it's gonna be one of those games that it's like Oregon's up by 14. Oh, now they're up by seven. Okay, now it's 17. Oh, now it's 10. It's just, it kind of feels like a cat and mouse game. So we'll see. That is my prediction is that in the, how about this? In the, you say 35 to three, you know who didn't think the game was over? James Madison. - I like. - We spent a lot of something like hand waving that James Madison, oh, that final score is not actually what it was. - Yeah, but nobody saw that. So did it really happen? - Well, I'll tell you who believed it happened, Bob Chesney and his dad, the secret sauce of the UCLA Bruins. So they're gonna keep fighting. - I just like the way that you said that the knife came to you like it was supernatural and it like entered the room on its own. - It just came to me. - Well, that's how I actually become Jason. - I just summoned it. - Yeah, just, I was thinking the monster in the scary horror movie that you keep thinking is dead and he keeps popping up. I think that will be UCLA threatening the cover and eventually getting the cover in this game. Okay, then we go to big texts in the Texas State Fair, Texas Oklahoma Red River rivalry texts. You have a lock here for the game that is sealing your namesake? - I mean, I kind of have to. - That's kind of a lot. - Yeah, and I'm not really gonna go, I'm gonna be basic bitch with this one. I'm just gonna play the obvious one. Texas Oklahoma Red River rock fight under 39 and a half. I just, Oklahoma's offense is going to be really bad. Their left tackle is out, it was already bad. And even with their left tackle in, their offensive line wasn't good. You should see what it looks like when he's out. - Yeah. - And then on the other side, I just like, I think some of the problems with Texas's offense are overstated because of who they've played. Like they've played a better list of defenses and most teams in the country have. But I don't think that is the only excuse for why it has looked like it has. I still don't think it's really at full peak opacity and this is still a very good Oklahoma defense. So there's a chance this goes over because of John Matier, Fumbleitis. But I just, I don't see a whole hell of a lot of points being scored in this game. Like I could see Texas winning this 30 to three. - And that 30 to three is a cover. I'm just gonna take Texas and I'm just gonna lay these points. - I almost certainly will go ahead chip fish. - Oh, I think that, I think that this number is too low for the quality of the teams and that even a B minus Texas game could potentially cover the spread. - Yeah, I'm looking at like the liquidity reports and I think we're gonna get a seven here on Texas. So I will be on Texas, but there's no sevens right now that aren't used to like crazy. So Texas lean for sure. If it hits seven, I will be on it. - I did not check the liquidity reports. - No. - But I did you guys happen to see the glitch in the matrix that took place in Norman. Listen to the subliminal message. This is real. I thought it was AI. I got striker to pull this. Listen to Brent Vennables early this week. Just listen very closely at the end of the beginning of his quote of Zanzer. - Would you guys, the role's kind of reversed. What can we Saturday do for you guys after this critical turn of season? I mean, it's a big game playing the number one team in the country. - Did you guys see that was a glitch in the matrix? I don't know. - Turn around our season. - Yes, turn around our season. He's already speaking it into existence. Give me the sooners in the seven and a half. I Texas is not fixed by any means. That offense is shaky. Archmaning has been inconsistent. - Just please for the love of God. That's what I would say. Matier don't screw up this game. That's what my subliminal message would be. As long as Matier doesn't have those multiple whoopsy daisies, which is a big step of faith, I think their defense keeps them in this game. All I need is kind of similar to the playout against Georgia. When they were right there, looking like they were going to make it a game until they didn't, after a by-week rivalry game, weird things happen. - Gotta ask. - Fight, fight. - Yes, Tex. - Well, 'cause you know, chips wielding a knife, which is a little scary. Are you going into studio today and working with Amanda? And is that why you are taking Oklahoma on the lock spot because you've seen one person wield a knife already? - That's a good call. Yes, maybe I'm scary. - Protecting yourself. Did you watch, there was another part of that press conference to Danny where I thought Brent Venables looked unbelievably defeated and sounded unbelievably defeated. You know, like, yeah, we're just trying to coach him up. Do the best we can with what we got. You know, and maybe-- - Yes. - Maybe-- - Found about the offense specifically. - Yeah. - Yeah. - I was like, oh, it's lost for words. He's searching. - He's searching. Oh, I do not want to hear that, especially on Monday of game week, after you've had an off week to prepare for a rival that you should know very, very well. Yeah, that's a, I'll be on Texas. Danny's on OU, horns up, horns down, put it in the chat. Let us know which way you're leaning. One more headliner. It is the reigning national champion, Indian Hoosiers. Finally, head in the road. Okay, excuse me. Finally, head in the road to a hostile environment. Let me correct my tone there. We discussed that on big game breakdown. This is going to be the toughest most hostile environment that Indiana has faced this year. It will be a real test of the Ho-Hoo Hoosiers led by Ho-Hoo Hover going up against the corn huskers. Hoos got a lock. So, I still think Indiana minus seven is good here. I don't think it's like a five star banger. I will lock it up. The reason I don't think it's quite as much of a banger now is the wind, right? This is going to be a very windy game and Indiana chucks it deep a ton. So wind's going to have a little more effect on the deep ball than on screens and stuff. I will say Indiana has run the ball extremely well in recent weeks. So I do still like Indiana lay in the seven, but it's not my three star now. It was going to be. - Got it, anybody else? Indiana fourth quarter minus a point and a half. This feels like the kind of game that we make statements, make sure we're dialed in and you could really stay over there. You could really twist the knife on this one. Especially if there are a couple of missteps early and you need to send a message throughout Lincoln and to the rest of the big 10, seven and a half. So this was the minus one and a half. Indiana fourth quarter minus a point and a half against Nebraska. - Okay. - Okay. All right, coming up on the other side, we turn our attention to the rest of week, six Saturday, Moneyline sprinkles, and more. - Next. (upbeat music) - As soon as the leaves start changing colors, I immediately start craving all those traditional fall orchard flavors, especially a classic caramel dipped apple. Back here on the cover three podcast. It is a loaded Saturday. But of course, we want to make sure that you are dialed into big time on CBS as UCLA travels to play Oregon. That game kicks off at 3 30 p.m. Eastern time. Make sure you watch college football today starting at 3 p.m. Eastern time to get you set on all the highlights from across the country in a preview of this big time. Big 10 showdown, UCLA and Oregon in Austin Stadium. You can watch it on CBS America's most watching network, the network of stars. All right, let's do a review of the locks that we have on the board so far for week six. But you've got Arkansas State minus two and a half, Louisville plus three and a half, Oregon minus 11, Indiana minus seven. I've got UTSA minus six and a half. Iowa State first half plus seven, UCLA plus 11 and a half. Georgia third quarter pick them. Texas minus seven. and a half. The Missouri State Western Kentucky first half under 28 and a half. Remember, that's Thursday night. Danny's got UTSA minus six and a half. I will Washington under 41 and a half. Oregon minus 11. Alabama minus one and a half. Oklahoma plus seven and a half. And Tom's got the USF UTSA under 50 and a half. I was state first half plus seven. Georgia. Alabama under 51 and a half. UCLA. Oregon under 58 and a half. And the under 39 in Texas. Oklahoma. All right. But take us where you would like to go. The full board is yours. And we still need a three star lock from the three star commander. We do. All right. So have we had a now we're not going to do that. All right. Chip, give me my music. Oh, baby. I love to hear that. It's time for sick. Oh, mode. Let's go. I'm a little bit lower on some of the teams in the bottom of the Sun belt. If things go wrong, they could be like you've asked. That's kind of like sick. Oh, mode. Oh, the sick. Oh, mode. All right. So we're going to go to West Point. All right. Ooh, two lane army. Yeah. Yeah. And I think two lane got downgraded or sorry, our army got downgraded. Maybe a little bit too much last week. You know, and in taking a look at this, I don't think army's offense has broken it all to be honest. I think it's actually kind of fine. And I think they're going to score here. So go ahead and give me over 24 and a half army team total. I'm not really sure that I trust two lanes defense to be super disciplined. I think lot tech played that skimmy string extremely well. I'm not really sure that two lane will I think army is going to score here. So give me over 24 and a half with with with with with I almost said almost at the midship and never in bad. But that is not respecting the troops. Give me army report half. Text text here. He comes back, you know, pleading to the courts for citizenship. You know, just trying to just trying to regain good status and what even is citizenship these days? Who knows? Who knows? Who knows? Okay. I like it up there in out in West Point. Anything else disgusting or sick? What's the? I don't think that I've got anything that truly. Yeah, give me again. All right. It's time for sick out mode. Let's go. If things go wrong, they could be like you ask. That's kind of like sick of mode of a sicko mode. All right, we're going to go to East Lansing for this one. Okay. And I know Tom's line I have been disappointing. But we're riding with him right now. Give me Illinois minus two and a half. I think there's levels to this shit, right? And Michigan State like straight like I know that that disappointment and excitement. Yeah, yeah. I know Michigan State lost Toledo. But after these injuries, after watching them get figured out a little bit now, like I would take Toledo straight up today over Michigan State. I think this team is like they're in contention for the worst team in the power for they're not because Stanford exists and you know Boston College is also really bad. But I just think Illinois is reasonably kind of competent enough on offense. And I think Michigan State is so incompetent on defense that they will not find a way to score against air. So we'll make this my sicko mode three star lock at the week. I'm not really like hopefully the street continues. This is a little bit scary here to do this. Go ahead. I mean, I appreciate that you're confident enough in my line, I to make them your three star lock. But I'm also a little mad that you're making this a go play. Oh, yeah. This is pretty sick. It's like, thank you. I just yeah, I, I mean, my read on this one, I will say this. Like I am not optimistic about this team for the rest of the season. But the defense last week, they still don't have a pass rush to speak of, but they were a lot more disciplined and competent last week against Purdue than they had been in any game prior. It's just the offense happened to have a it's worst game of the season by a mile. So I could see this happening. I could also consider like some Illinois all lines here. Do you know? Do you know what you don't need to pass press against? Michigan State. You can stay. Yeah. Yes. Against a lot of opponents, but he's just going to sit back there and just dot up the secondary. And you're just not having that same sort of a crystal ball. Are you all right? DK, what would you like? Um, I'll go take me to Lexington Kentucky. Um, there is a fake picture of Kenny Minci in the locker room at LSU of him talking some trash about the LSU's defense. I don't know if the players know it's fake. I know. I know. I think our, I think our online literacy rate and for some of these, some of this locker room bulletin board material is a little questionable. Will Stein has been a great story. Sam Levitt is playing better in the system. I think this is where LSU's defense is able to control Kenny Minci and Will Stein is a great offensive coordinator, but I think too much firepower, I think Kentucky comes back down to earth is one of the most celebrated teams in the SEC so far. So I will lay the eight and a half on the road with the LSU. I can get you an eight. Perfect. Lock agreement. That's how he knows it. It's not, yeah, it's not a Kentucky hate thing. I respect the wildcats for their two road wins over South Carolina and Texas A&M. It's more than I just don't have that much respect for South Carolina and Texas A&M. LSU, they are obviously they're banged up. The Whitwick's injury does hurt them defensively, but I feel like, you know, they played last week, but it was McNease. It was mostly a buy week. They've spent the last couple weeks getting ready for this Kentucky team. I think that their talent will win out over 60 minutes. So give me the Tigers. Like that. Um, day, uh, Tex, you want to get something else? Sure. I will, you know what, I'll go to my three star. Give me the NC State team total under 28 and a half. Make it like the three star. Oh my god. Yeah. This is going to be my three stars. Well, but like it's just not not up in enough places yet. Then we get yelled at when I make three, three star team totals. But yeah. So is it moving up and you're trying to snatch it? No, it's probably going to start coming down. Yeah. Um, I don't know if you guys saw, but NC States without what four offensive lineman? Yeah. No three offensive lineman and you're starting running back. Yeah, and you're start, but I'm saying they're down. I think they've got four offensive lineman too. Oh, to go all the way back to preseason. Yes. Like I think, yes, but you're right. Yeah. So yeah, I don't, I don't think I need to give much more of an explanation than that. Come on, Wake Forest. This is, this is an offense. You should be able to stop. I believe in you, Jake Dickert. Give him your best. Um, but anything to add there? That's literally the reason I wanted to bet it. Just the offensive lineman trees and like, where we're at right now, CJ Bailey running for his life against, uh, against the Wake Forest defense. It's just going to be able to tee off. That's correct. Okay. Famously like solid on ball security, CJ Bailey under duress. Yeah. And I understand that that game is wild. Uh, uh, all politics are local. We don't need to delve into it too much. Maybe on Saturday night in the wee hours of the morning, but Jake Dickert rolling into Carter Finley is a three and a half point favorite against NC State. Something to see. We'll see what ends up coming out on the field. I'll stay in the state of North Carolina where, um, the ECU pirates made a quarterback change. Now it might have gone a little bit under the radar because, you know, they've, they've played their last two games against Old Dominion, which by the way is O and five against the spread and on the season and, uh, against North Carolina Central. Then they've had an off week. So it's been a while, but Mitch Griffiths was the starter against Alabama. And as the season unfolded, it was clear. My words, Mitch Griffiths ain't it. Okay. So we've gone to Emory Williams, which you might remember from Miami. We've had the emergence of some skill players that have gotten healthier like Ray Ray Joseph from Miami. We've got a few other skill players that are starting to get back into the groove. And this ECU team is coming out of an off week and they are playing at home and it's homecoming and they are playing against rice. Now rice is obviously reeling just a little bit. They had a great fight for UTSA last weekend, but ended up coming up just a bit short. Maybe a little lipstick on a pig with a late score to make 16 to seven end up being 16 to 14, but they have lost four straight. And this is where I just think they're going to find themselves a little bit outmaned against an ECU offense that is in transition. I will take the pirates at home. I will lay the nine and a half and I will make it my three starlock. I like that actually. Makes sense. It's the end of the producer pick. Let's see where's this one. I said there in North Carolina. Oh yeah, let's just keep this time for the Let's go, striker's back. Striker's back from Europe, taft held it down boys, what are we locking up for producer pick? Man oh man, it is so good to have striker back in the house. How could the producer pick stop this winning streak now, we're five and one on this season. Like Danny said, we're going to stay in the Carolina's, even though this game is in Pidsburg and we are fading the tar heels, give us hit plus three and a half. We do not trust Bill Belchick's team on the road as you see on the graphic, thank you striker, eight, 22 and two, ATS and another reason that I really like fading Billy Edwards on the road this week is because it's a little bit of a look ahead spot. They play the blue devils next week, you look at the last seven seasons, they've played Duke against a power 14 to be for higher, they're one in six, both straight up and against the spread in that look ahead spot before their big rivalry game. So yeah, give us the Pidsburg Panther striker, you got a little bit more. Yeah, so it's going to be back Penn State when Owen too well has gone, producer pick went to an O, so washes out on the pit side, there are eight and one in their last nine conference games and also at home since 2025, eight and it was straight up, seven and one against the spread. When they're a favorite, we know they got a new quarterback, but holding Garner has been good this year when he's played 19 to 26 on the season to touchdowns, including last week against Virginia Tech. So we think pit will roll again and we're going to keep our winning streak going to three. Like, is there a better place to be a Penn State fan over the last two weeks than Mika Nose? Yeah. That's the thing that were both night games too. So I couldn't even stay awake because they were at like 4 a.m. over there. Right. Oh, man. Great. Okay. So we're officially on there and I don't know if you've, I'm sure actually, I don't know why I said, I don't know if you've seen these are the producers here. You followed the producer picks. You are very aware that Jalen Harvey, Melkart, Abu Jude and Isaiah Johnson, potentially three defensive line starters, all questionable for this game for North Carolina. If you take them out of the equation, you are limiting what we have undeniably agreed as the best part of the North Carolina Tar Heels right now, which is their defensive front. And you're asking Billy Edwards to do a lot. You are trusting a backup pick quarterback, but it's also one that, you know, got his beak wet, being able to get in and out of Blacksburg with a win. So anybody going to fight the producers? Maybe later. No. Oh. Okay. Okay. Thanks for having our back. Chip. I appreciate that. Yeah. No, our one producer pick loss being a fight against you. And you come back a couple weeks later and give us even more reason to believe. I don't, I truly do not remember that tap. I was that happened weeks ago. Nope. No clue. I'm glad that I'm glad that you're feeling encouraged by this. I mean, Chip, Chip didn't even remember recording that five hour energy ad you saw earlier in the show. Listen, we're just, we're always, we're always looking at the next, next play, next game. We got to keep things moving. All right. While we're, while we're sitting here and having a little friends and family, boys, you want to, you want to see if we can, we can get in and party a little bit? You want to do it? Sure. Yeah. All right. Let's go. Can you guys hear me? Yes. I was listening to the whole show and now my audience. No security. Not aligned. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. I'm leaving the club and I'm coming back to the club. Please hold. All right. All right. Okay. She's just going to have anybody to open the door for this. Yeah. No security was gone. All right. We'll throw this in. I just got my line alert for this. Give me Georgia Tech plus seven. Nasty weather game. I don't think Duke should be laying a touchdown here. Just, I don't know, like these mid-level ACC teams that have been scheduled darlings, like on the one hand with Duke, I think Duke should, like Manny, obviously think he'd have reached out building the team, a lot of young talent, et cetera. That's too many. Give me all the jackets. I think that it's a, it's something I might have something on later, bud. Yeah. If you're one dimensional and a team has two weeks to prepare for it, you would hope that they would figure out how to limit that one dimension and cause some problems. And in a weather game, Force Walker, you get to go and beat you. But there is the potential and the variance that could come with Georgia Tech's just not it. But if there's a get up off the mat, if there's a gut check Saturday, it's in Atlanta, for sure. Okay, wait, hey, Striker, can you give me thumbs up? Is, is Ken's coming back? All right. I'm going to go ahead and hit the music. All right. [MUSIC] There we go. We're really coming in. Outside the club. And the bucket here is as you're scared of this year is probably worse than no scared of this. Striker, do you know how this works? You just watch the door. Okay. All right. Okay. Striker's Todd Bowles back there. He's just watching and not doing a damn thing. You know, I tried to do this myself and didn't work, so clearly I need the assistance of our bouncers here. Our producers. We're good. We're in. We're partying. We're in. We're in the club. Yeah. All right. So what's the first half, but we're back. Yes. Well, I actually wanted to ask your guys opinion because I have two ways to attack this game and I haven't decided which way I want to. So we're going to buy in on Iowa while the world's down on them going to Washington. Okay. Come in. So exclusive club. Sorry. Another producer. I'm just so popular. It's really hard these days. Okay. So here's the thing. We can get ugly Iowa football in Washington. They can play the way they want. They were even able to get to say and they sacked him. Williams has been sacked like 12 times this year. They also don't really win at home. I know Iowa doesn't look fabulous, but this is their style of football that they can play. Stop the run, run the ball. Do we go under 41 and a half or we can get three in a hook plus the three and a half. That's where I'm kind of trying to decide where I want to go. Any opinions? You could get a lock agreement with me. I'm on the under 41 and a half or this is okay. Iowa plus three. Yeah. Yeah. Right. I went to guy one points. Go ahead. Hmm. Yeah. So I'm going to take the plus three and a half boys. It just feels like the right play. They think they bounce back. And it can still be up. I mean, a total that low, like, you know, it's hard to cover spread. So I'll take the three and a half over on the dual. What was it? Like 16, 14 against Utah State. Yeah. Was that right? Yeah. When that. If you couldn't cover this spread against Utah State, what are you going to do against Kirk Farritz? You know? Listen. Yeah. It's just sensible there. I like. So what is this? Anything underlying? Ken's. You think we're just overreacting. We're factoring in too much into travel. Washington being asked. You know, like, there's there are lots of ways. I think I understand that it's hard to play at Washington. I'm not saying no to that. That's not what I'm not taking the money line. I just that three and a hook is like, okay, I lose by a field goal. I'm willing to take that. If it was three, I definitely lean to the under. But I think both are in play. Maybe you take an alt spread and an alt under and get yourself to around even money. Whoa. I might look into that now that I said, maybe like, like, Washington team till like, under nine and a half. If we want to get to a really big plush, you're going to pay for it. Yeah. Yeah. If you're going to send this thing to the moon, let's go. I was thinking more like buy it up to 45 and a half and I will plus like six, but yeah, that's just. Are you talking about a teaser? Are you talking about it? A single teaser? A single game teaser? You could call it that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We can do a little SGP. Is that the first SGP lock of the? No, no. You're locked in on the spread. No, we don't. They're like probably. Hmm. Check. Check. No, that's what I will be doing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. I will first to score money on. Oh. Okay. Okay. You're going bigger plus money than my anticipation was. But I respect that. Yeah. That's what we're trying to do. We're trying to have some fun out here. Late night on a Friday night. Anything else catch your eye from the week six late kins? I mean, just looking at my dog seem where they're going to play their football game. If they're going to play the football game, I like the under recordless. Maybe if this gets moved to a dome, like we'll get a crazy inflated number and then you still take the under because it's a really big matchup and things can get tough. At least early on, first quarter, second quarter unders. But I guess I would like to wait to see the situation before I do that. What's our latest status? You guys are more in tune than I am right now. It's going to play. They're going to play. The under on tailgating is probably a better bet than the under on the game. Yeah. Yeah. And we might still have some like sped up a little bit. So it's going to hit earlier. We're going to have some swirly wins. Like, you know, right after a hurricane comes through, it's that sort of just like odd spooky vibes. But a spooky football game. Chip's got a knife. Be careful. Yeah. He was wielding it before. It's like Jason. Wow. How did you explain that one to your wife when you brought that one over to the desk? It's just how it's just a Thursday. Come on. Keep proud. - He's protecting himself from the children, that's all. (laughing) - The grand ones. - All right, so Ken's where we at this weekend. Where can we find you? - So we're in New York one more weekend. And then next weekend, the crew is headed to Viva Las Vegas for the Raiders Buffalo game. We were supposed to go to Chargers Chiefs, but the Chargers just really are showing there worth us spending our money to get on an airplane for. So, the Vegas we go, bummer. (laughing) - Oh no. - Wow. - Oh yeah, I know. All right, thank you so much, kids. We sure check her out on Sunday, getting you see a leader, go learn about Sunday. (laughing) - See ya. (upbeat music) - Oh, bounce. - That started, that started thundering and then I felt like I was in time out. (laughing) - But Danny, I got a question for you. - Yeah. - You're a quarterback, your whole life. - Yeah. - That's the first time you ever got rejected at the club. (laughing) - I might definitely, definitely once. (laughing) - Coming up on the other side, wrapping up our week six but locks with money lines, sprinkles, and more. - Next. (upbeat music) - Back here on the Cover 3 podcast, let's do a quick survey of the crew. Is anybody loaded up with lots left to be able to get? - I got a couple for rapid fire, yeah. - Okay. - Big heart for you. - Okay. - Let's let the chopper spray, bud. - All right, so, I think I found a bigger Marcel Reed daughter than me. - The market? - No, no, no, no. My buddy, Sandor, his son, Sandor, Jr., he's playing quarterback on their seven U team and like their quarterback coach was like, who's your favorite quarterback? He's like Marcel Reed 'cause they're big Aggies and he's like, I picked somebody else 'cause he was trying to demonstrate. (laughing) - And I just can't let that kind of disrespect stand. Michaelco Aggies, plus three and a half, go into Missouri, give that to me. I just, come on man, that's disrespectful. - Next, Virginia under 30 and a half points. I think that FSU game was much more about UVA than it was about FSU. I want nothing to do with the Syracuse offense, but I wanted to essentially away to bet this Syracuse game. A little uncertainty as to what's happening with Cal on the offensive side of the ball. You saw they changed play callers at halftime. Also we don't know with concussion protocol, you know, on JKS. - On JKS. - I think Botek rolls out of bed and drops some points on them. Give me over 31 and a half. - I'm in on that game. Give me Virginia Tech first half minus six and a half. - Okay. - I like their fast start, but them letting that lead slip away and their turnover problems are at least something to monitor. But I think they get off to, I like under a touchdown for them to get out to a good start against the Bears. - I am also on that game. I'm on the Cal team total under 21 and a half. - We spent all this time talking about all these games. Sure enough, we've got just, just lots of stacks of analysis on Virginia Tech Cal. Course. - All right. Is that a Virginia Tech, Virginia, Texas A&M? Is that it for Rapidfire, you got another one? - Yeah, I think that's it. - I have, that's good. - I have three more. I've got a lot of unders on the board this week. My God, you know what, let's add another one. San Diego State, Oregon State, under 53 and a half. Just numbers play there. I'm hoping San Diego State's offense can continue to do. It's part to help that one get off. Give me West Virginia plus three and a half at home against Arizona. And then I'm kind of, you know, fading a possible wagon here. Fading a team that's been crushing teams all year long, but I feel like this number is a little too big. Georgia Southern plus seven and a half at home against James Madison. - Man, that was almost a fight. (laughing) If it gets to seven, I'm laying it, but I don't think it will. - I just, yeah, you're gonna be sitting there and you're gonna be like, man, my really taken Georgia Southern right here in this spot. The Saturday will unfold and you're gonna wonder, man. But on the other hand, Tom's like, you trust in Billy Napier on the road as a seven and a half point favor? Come on, that's State's burrow. It's where dreams go to die. Everyone knows that. - Who does James Madison play next week, Chip? - Ooh, you've got him in the look ahead. - I don't know, I feel like there's a team that they have to contend with in that sun belt to East. - In the East in the Beast? - In kind of a wagon that's, you know, Del McGee's got going. Guess who's next week for James Madison? - Georgia State. - Yeah. - The old Southern State two step. We'll see if they can survive. DK, what else do you have? - I have a wagon play. - I think Utah might be a wagon. Give me Utah minus 15 and a half at home versus Kansas. Kansas is struggling. Devon Dampier, Wayshawn Parker and Bert Fickland leading the way on the ground. Dampier has been pretty solid in the air too. I think they should roll pretty easily, especially since it's at Rice Eccles. And then I can't believe I'm gonna do this 'cause I hate when this happens because I think a lot of people, it's just taking the bait, but give me USC plus one and a half. I know the defense has struggled. I know everyone is on USC, but I think the defense, what they need to cure all the ailments is the face Penn State's offense. I know the travel issue. I know it's cross country and they haven't fared well there. I'm still a believer though that USC is better than where Penn State is right now. - There's a styles make fights here that's very interesting where I know that USC has the backs to run the football well. But to me, the way you beat Penn State is running the football. I don't think you beat Penn State by throwing the ball 42 times. So I'm, you know, it's like, does USC have the requisite tools to take advantage of what is very clearly a weakness in this Penn State defense? And this Penn State defense that to me is the better side of this team. They gotta show up. If they run the football, yeah. We saw what Northwestern did, but Northwestern might be a better, is Northwestern a better running team than USC? - Yes, yeah, definitely. - So we'll see if they're gonna be able to get it done again. I know they've got the players, but they gotta go prove it. Yes, bud. - I can't let them do this. - I love to hear that. - Ball State plus 37 and a half. (laughs) - Yes, that's not even sick. That's us with a chest. - Wow. - Like that is a bit of a calm down spot for Northwestern. I don't know they need to break anything new out for this game. We've talked a lot about how the Wildcats have a really awful schedule, you know, in terms of like difficulty and when the games fall. And they don't have a buy week since week two. So this is kind of their last breather game of the year. I can't imagine you're gonna try to run Charles a lot. I can't imagine you're gonna, like my guess is they just get in and get out. 37 and a half has made a lot of points. - It is, if Ball State takes care of the football, you might be okay. - Right, yeah. - If they can take care of the football, we need a special team Saturday for Bud Elliott. We need to be cleaning up on all of our returns. - This is correct. - No, no, no Maryland punts stuff. Although, God, I probably will bet. If Maryland is 35 and pull the trigger, guys, this is. - Maryland punts stuff sounds like a. (laughing) - If this video wasn't already getting banned for Chip's steal, this is. - A lot of HR violations in this show. - I'll tell you what, there actually might be a harassment violation for what Arizona State might do to Hawaii. I'm gonna take Sparky and I'll lay 20 and a half. It's been a little bit of a travel challenge for the Warriors. And Kenny Dillingham, remember, his first year was as an offensive coordinator for Dan Laning. When Dan Laning got his opportunity to have a lay-in to the team and send him out there to kick some ass. That's exactly what they did. We had Kenny Dillingham doing the exact same. We are not meeting the standard speech. I imagine a lot of this week was about not meeting the standard. I think that Hawaii is the type of opponent that they can work some things out and start feeling better about themselves. So under three touchdowns, I think they exceed that. I'll go Arizona State minus 20 and a half. Yeah, I think I'm good there. Let me count mine. - One, two, three. - My card's done. - Five, six, seven, eight, nine. - Okay, buddy, you done? - Yeah, buddy. - All right. Two, review. Week six, bud is on. Arkansas State minus two and a half. Louisville plus three and a half. Oregon minus 11. Indiana minus seven. Army team total over 24 and a half. Illinois minus two and a half. NC State team total under 28 and a half. Georgia Tech plus seven. Texas A&M plus three and a half. UVA team total under 30 and a half. Virginia Tech team total over 31 and a half. And ball state plus 37 and a half. Chips got UTSA minus six and a half. UCLA plus 11 and a half. the Missouri State. Western Kentucky first half under 28 and a half. That's Thursday night on CBS Sports Network. Texas minus seven and a half. ECU minus nine and a half and Arizona State minus 20 and a half. Dan Eeson UTSA minus six and a half. Iowa Washington under 41 and a half. Oregon minus 11 Alabama minus one and a half. LSU minus eight. Utah minus 15 and a half. USC plus one and a half and Tom Scott. South Florida UTSA under 15 and a half. Iowa State first half plus seven. Georgia Alabama under 51 and a half. UCLA Oregon under 58 and a half. The red river rivalry. That's Texas, Oklahoma under 39 and a half. LSU minus eight. Cal team total under 21 and a half. San Diego State Oregon State under 53 and a half. West Virginia plus three and a half. And Georgia Southern plus seven and a half. Now we turn our attention to those money lines. Sprinkles. Last week on the sprinkles. Let's see. We got bowling green coming home for bud. Was that all last week? In San Diego State, yeah. All right, let's go. Sprinklin, nothing for Chip. Had Arkansas and Washington. I guess Washington gave us a chance. Minnesota, Florida State. Danny with a couple of sprinkle wins on the board. And then Tom out here just Purdue cash it. Northwestern cash it. Pit cash it. That means that bud has taken first place on the sprinkles board. So you get to get us started with this week's sprinkles. All right. Mountaineer's plus one 50 at home against against Arizona. I got to take a shot just based on price here. And the fact that I think this is a pretty decent team. Sam Houston plus four 50 is a little steep for me. So plus one 55 on the road, but Marshall is kind of a mess. So go ahead and place it. Moneyline sprinkles are what Coastal is for. That is not what we are not playing within the normal outcomes when we're dealing with Deuce Bailey. This is correct. Yeah. And then also Tulsa plus 120, little shorter week this week. Last week I was pretty money line heavy this week, a little more spread heavy. I am right there with you with West Virginia. I had 140. Did you say 150's available? 150. Yep. Contact plus 210 might even be a better one there. I feel like I've. Yeah, we can get better now. I'm sure. Okay. See here. Better as has a 220 220 Kentucky against LSU to two 90 to 90. And then last one just so that there's like an official record. I think Georgia wins the football game. I can get plus 104. That counts officially for the competition. So I will take Georgia and the dogs winning in Tuscaloosa. Let's see Danny. I will take Fresno State at home against Boise State plus 217. Pack 12 game of the week. Give me UNLV at home plus 150 against North Dakota State. Give me Houston on the road against Kansas State plus 127. Yeah. What was that one? Yeah. Okay. And then from my last one, do you guys realize South Carolina blew a 17 nothing lead against Kentucky and they blew a 16 to nothing lead against Mississippi State. What if South Carolina does not blow the lead in gamesville? Sometimes you got a swing for the fences, boys. Give me South Carolina plus 40. Yeah. I have a little piece a little bit bigger than that when I realized the market was betting South Carolina pretty hard that where it was going to move. Yeah. Just on price. Dog. If you love that, you probably love South Carolina team total over, by the way. Oh, yeah. Oh, it was all a Missouri did 23 and a half. Man, the absolute dizzying experience of a Florida Gators fan if Danny's sprinkle comes home. I would hate it. We're winning the title to losing it's wow, wow, uh, text. What do we, uh, what are we sprinkling? I have quite a few, I'm but this week I've got a bunch of sprinkles. Um, plenty of them have been shared with that make, make three of us on West Virginia plus 150. I am also on coastal plus 155. I am also on Fresno plus 217. I am also on UNLV plus 150, but I'm also on North Carolina plus 163. I'm fading the producers. I'm going to leave some point. I am on Yukon plus 160. Consider this. Yeah. And then finally, I'm on Northern Illinois plus 27. Yeah. Liam Zarkin. Yeah. Air force, new quarterback in there. I don't know. We'll see. I mean, that was that we won the first leg of the commander in chief trophy, but at what cost, you know, yeah, Falcons, uh, Falcons got their wings clipped a little bit loose in Zarka. He's he out for the season. I got him as extended absence, right? Yeah. He's out for the year. Yeah. Chew. Tough scenes. But Northern Illinois trying to make it, trying to make their presence known, uh, in the Mountain West with this Mountain West conference game visit from, uh, from Air Force. Before we go, I want to send a shout out. Oh. Shout out to the downers Grove, North flag football team for winning regionals. Very proud of you, girls. There you go. Nice. Is that the team we sponsored at one time? No, no, that was my niece's softball team before she was in high school. This is this is her flag football team. They won regionals. Shout out mad dog. Let's go mad dog. Congratulations, uh, on that and, uh, and bringing the heat that, uh, that your, that Uncle Tom has on this cover three locks pod and taking it to the flag football field. You rock. All right. We will be. Oh, let's actually review the sprinkles for those at home because we did, uh, we do sort of try. Let's see scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, but it is sprinklin West Virginia, same Houston state, coastal Carolina and Tulsa, uh, I am sprinklin West Virginia, Georgia tech, Kentucky and Georgia, Danny is sprinklin Fresno state, UNLV Houston and South Carolina. And Tom is sprinklin West Virginia, North Carolina, Northern Illinois, Yukon, coastal, UNLV and Fresno.
