Week 5 Fantasy Rankings: Who should you start & sit this week? | Fantasy Focus
64m 25s
The week five fantasy rankings highlight significant shifts due to player injuries and matchups. Lamar Jackson’s potential absence against the Falcons shifts focus to Tyler Huntley, reducing Zay Flowers’ scoring ceiling but not eliminating his value, as his performance remains elite when Jackson plays. The Eagles face a dire season outlook due to offensive inefficiency, injuries to key players like Lane Johnson, and poor run blocking, making them a high-risk team. Quarterback rankings show Drake May as a strong mid-tier option due to favorable matchups and consistent performance, while Brock Purdy remains a risky pick against Seattle’s elite defense, though his past success offers some confidence. Running back depth is thin, with Aaron Jones and Deandre Swift showing resilience despite inconsistent stats—Jones benefiting from increased touches and a strong matchup, while Swift remains a key backfield anchor despite volume issues. Wide receivers shine with CD Lam and George Pickens, particularly Pickens’ high-upside game against the Buccaneers, where his target volume and route-running create a breakout opportunity. Tight ends face scarcity, with Colson Loveland emerging as a high-athleticism, inconsistent but promising option. Defenses like the Cowboys, Bengals, and Jaguars are highlighted as strong streaming options due to matchups and recent performance. The fantasy face-off between Daniel Dopp and Field Jates underscores differing opinions on player value, with both emphasizing key matchups and injury risks. Overall, the week emphasizes player volatility, depth challenges, and the importance of situational awareness in building strong fantasy lineups.

We're gonna dive into today, week five rankings. I talked about, we got a bunch of stuff. We're gonna talk about there, some very fun things. We got two teams on buy. So the first little bits of buy weeks are now upon us. We got a random ranking at the end of the show that is always going to be a good time. We're doing fantasy face-offs. Last week, it was me and Mike versus each other. Fields, you were the judge. This time it's gonna be me and field versus each other. And Mike is gonna be the judge. - Let's see which Daniel Dopp shows up because he evolved last week. - He did. - Very cool and kind at first. And then he was kind of in the middle and the last one you were screaming. - Like I didn't realize I was going up against the terminator when I was gonna be doing this. So I realized you didn't realize that. - Yeah, that's right. - The most pragmatic, thoughtful fantasy analyst on the planet. - Yeah. - And we got a little bit of news that we're gonna get into before we dive into some rankings. Field Jates starting with one of the biggest quarterbacks we have in the league. - Yeah, Lamar Jackson has a slim chance to play on Sunday night against the Falcons. Also reporting that this could be a multi-week absence. So when there's reporting that it could be a multi-week absence, it makes you feel like the present week is very unlikely to happen. Tyler Snoop-Huntley will take over as the quarterback if Lamar is out on Sunday night against the Falcons, the resurgent Falcons. Mike has already removed Lamar from the projection. So if you see a zero next to him, that is by design. The only player that this really impacts from a fantasy perspective is Zay Flowers. - Yeah. - Now how much of a discount can you put on Zay Flowers when the guy's been absolutely electric when he has been playing? Not enough for him to be outside of your fantasy lineups, but certainly the optimal version of Zay Flowers includes Lamar on the field. - Yeah, Huntley's passing in his curve. The numbers haven't been that great. I looked at his 16 games or 17 career games in which he's played at least 80% of the snaps at total of 17 touchdowns. Only 12 were passing. The 12 passing touchdowns in 17 games, little under 180 passing yards per game. We know he can add value with his legs. However, two of those games were last season and check this out. So Zay Flowers averaged 13.6 fantasy points per game. Two fine games, one pretty good game, one average game. Derek Henry, 32.6 fantasy points per game. He had that one like four touchdown game. - Check it, check it, check it, check it, check it. - So yeah, I mean, I think you, you know, in the projections obviously the offensive projection for their scoring goes down a little bit, right? Naturally, you're known from Lamar to Huntley, but they're gonna give it 10 re as much as possible. He moved down a couple spots in my ranks, but he'll be fine. I'm with you. It's Flowers and Derek should be fine. Just wanna say that was awesome analysis. Thoughtful as usual, very well put together. Just, however, - That's tough. - Oh, that's it, thanks. - Oh, well, that was really nice. By the way, I did get a, in my ear, Keith Lipskin wanted me to tell you guys that his name is actually pronounced former proble quarterbacks. - Oh, I didn't do the whole government name there. - Yes, my apologies on the right. - You're right, yes, you're right. - My, you guys remember just before my shoulder exploded on the beach in Baha Mare. - Yes. - I took a photo with a guy wearing a suit. - Oh, yeah, that's what it, that's in my head. I can't not think about that. - Yeah, should I make it last year or what? - Or to make it last year. - Everyone, Mac Jones, ready for like 70 yards, that was awesome. - And you'll not be surprised to learn that the proble is now over. - So we're not doing it anymore. - We jumped the shark and now it's over. - You know who else isn't doing anymore, Mike. - Yeah, that was a lead in. - Lane Johnson. - Lane Johnson. - Yeah, shout out to Lane Johnson. What an awesome career, I mean, just one of the anchors of an elite, maybe the best offensive line play in the league over the past decade. And they've been nothing, shout out to that team. Jeff Stoutlin, Howie Roseman, finding these players like Jordan Milotta and putting that together, it seems like it's going the wrong way now. Obviously with Lane retiring, the injuries, Landon's on IR and Cam Jurgens is hurt right now. Jordan Milotta is getting older. Like those days might be behind us. The Eagles have a lot of work to do to fix things along that offensive line. And it's gonna affect things. It already has so far this season. I didn't realize quite how bad their efficiency has been as a team this year. Defense has underachieved a little bit too. If you combine offensive and defensive EPA, the Eagles are 31st in the NFL. 31st in the NFL, 27th offensively, 26th defensively. - Are Titans behind them, I guess I should say? - I think, it's good question, is it Miami? - Maybe not, it was Miami, yeah. - But yeah, it's been a rough go. If you look at, obviously this is going to affect offensive line play, you know, at some point, they'll get Landon Dickerson back, but they're already ninth in pass block win rate this season, which is five, a 27th in run block win rate. And that's the more notable one because we've seen that. They're really struggling to get the running game going. So I'm concerned about this. I have major concerns about the Eagles due to poor offensive efficiency going back to last year, but also the injuries are just really piling up. Now you lose lane, it might be a long season for Philly. - Yep. One quick thing for me, it's great analysis by Mike, by the way. - It was, great analysis. Thank you. - A great, thank you. Seattle, are you just buttering up the judge for later on in the show? - Why would you suggest that? - All right, interesting. Seattle really quickly, the old bait and switch, made us think that maybe they're going to sign Joe Mixon, surprise, no, they're not. It is still going to be Emmanuel Wilson. He's ranked as a top 20 running back for us this week, the second most added player off of waivers. So for now, more short term than long term, but Emmanuel Wilson going to stay in the low end, RB2 flex radar for us. - Yeah, that foot injury that cost you mix in all of last year. Very surprising, not surprising, but a very mysterious injury that cost him 2025. Appears to still be a problem in 2026. I kind of assumed Joe Mixon was done playing, professional football, then this past week, it's like, oh, maybe not. The answer might be that yes, in fact, Joe Mixon's career could well be over. - All right, let's dive into the week five rankings. We're going to start at the quarterback position. - Yay, yay. - A reminder, we got two teams on by this week. We're talking about the Carolina Panthers and the Kansas City Chiefs. So no Patrick Mahomes, obviously no Bryce Young who has been fantastic to start the season. One through 10, we got Josh Allen, Joe Barrow, Jaden Daniels, Jared Goff, Trevor Lawrence, Matthew Stafford, Jacobi Bressett, at seven, Dak Prescott at eight, and Drake May and Brock Perty tied there at nine, Jacobi Bressett. First time, inside the top 10, taking on the Detroit Lions in a great conversation right there. So he is a must start this week against the Lions 11 through 20. Tyler Shutt, Tyler Murray, Jalen and her, it's Bo Nicks. Jordan Love to Sean Watson, Aaron Rogers, Sam Darnold, CJ Stroud and Tyson Begent that rounds out the top 20 Jalen Hertz. Outside the top 12 again, guys, this is three straight weeks under 16 and a half fantasy points back to back, bad weeks. Doesn't feel like it's gonna get any better anytime soon, unfortunately. - I forget her name, I think it's Marie Kwondo, I bet our producer Addison knows. She had the Netflix, the popular Netflix show where she would come in and she would organize your house. - Yes. - And if it brought you joy, you would keep it. - Yes. - And if it didn't, you would throw it away. Does Jalen Hertz bring you joy to starts right now? - No. - Not throwing him away is going to the waiver, but like put him on the bench. - He's on the bench. - Now is an easy way to think about the Jalen Hertz start sit conversation. - Is Drake May still on the bench or did what he did last week elevate him into potential start? - Trying to get back up. - Trying to get up is Drake May. The thing that I liked the most from Drake May, other than the fantasy points this past weekend, was that I thought that Drake May was allowed to weaponize his leg. He's an elite athlete for a quarterback. He can really do damage. He is now fourth in the NFL amongst quarterback rushing yards, fifth in quarterback rushing attempts, over 50 rushing yards last week, and they now draw the Raiders, which kind of a hard defense to figure out exactly how good they are or are not. They play the dolphins, so 25% of their games this season have come against the dolphins. That right away gives you some pause about how real they are or are not. The chargers also on their ledger, that offense stinks. The Saints, a team that I think has offensive talent but gets in their own way. And the chiefs who put up 30 plus points against the Raiders last week, they got the job done largely on the ground. The Raiders are middle of the pack. They are 16th in fantasy points per game allowed to opposing quarterbacks. All of these are round ways of me to say, I don't exactly know that this is a defensive we should be scared of for Drake May. I also don't think this is like Drake May facing off against the Lions as upcoming weekend. The most fantasy points scored by a quarterback in the four games so far. This season Tyler Shock, who had 23.8 in week three, some of that was playing from behind with the Saints often do of note. Paid Drake May could well be down, not just AJ Brown, who's ineligible for another week. And it doesn't sound like he's going to play in week six, but we'll get to that in week six. But Mac Holland, so we talked about is like, maybe the Patriots wide receiver one or two last week, and he was along with Romeo Dobbs until he got hurt, doesn't sound like Mac Holland would be available this weekend. So even against an OK defense, even without his weapons, I still think that Drake May deserves to be inside the top 10 of quarterbacks, and you love to see it because after this, Drake May does have a couple of very, very notable matchups for QBs, the Jets and the Bears amongst the teams around the corner for the Patriots. Yeah, love it. We hope that he would get through them first three games, which were brutal matchups and he obviously struggled and kind of turned the corner against more palatable at the very minimum defenses and so far so good. That's one, let's see if we could do it again this week. don't think we're quite at the point.
point where we can say that, you know, Drake May, if we read drafted quarterbacks right now would be quarterback two, three or four, but AJ Brown returns schedule. I'm not saying softens up to the point where it was last year, but just is a little more league average. Right. And Drake May could easily be a guy that we just stop talking about where we rank him. It's just assume it is going to be somewhere in that first six to eight FQBs. Field and I are in a group chat with a bunch of Michigan men. And Mike Clay is known as a perennial Jared golf hater. Yes, except for here in week five, it appears in which he's getting some flowers, my friend. Yeah. We talk about coffees, not a lineup block pretty much ever, except for when we're streaming, you know, when we're streaming, you have to do a question. Well, I was just going to say in that same group chat where the rest of the group calls you. I knew this is going to happen. I call you a handsome Jared golf optimist. Yes. Generally kinds. Okay. Well, I'd like to keep and score a compliments for later. So four, four, four nothing lead here for it or for a field. I'm not complimenting. I'm just stating facts. Well, hey, I like it. I keep track of this mentally and on paper and leading the way. There's so many. I can't keep track. Anyway, yeah, big, big Jared golf streaming fan. We talked to you. So it should go be a set there too. Both goff and foresetter streaming options this week. First of all, golf has been good lately, 19 plus fantasy points and three straight games. Nine touchdown passes this year is zero interceptions. So he's really protected the ball well. And the passing volume has been exactly what you need for him to hang in the streaming conversation top five and pass attempts, completions, yards and touchdowns. So far, those all seem to matter in fantasy last time I checked. So pretty huge. And of course, Arizona, they've allowed the most passing touchdown so far this season with 11, also 9.1 yards per pass attempt allowed that is highest in the NFL. It has been brutal for that defense golf and a terrific spot in which should be one of the highest scoring games of I think it's important to think of the Cardinals defense very similarly to the Miami defense, except that the Miami offense can't score at all. And the Cardinals offense can score. So teams actually have to try throwing the ball against it's even more pressure on them. So it's it's better for the quarterbacks facing Arizona as opposed to the quarterbacks facing Miami as we have seen, like patching homes and the chiefs. They ended up winning that game. Perhaps a little closer that we anticipated, but my homes didn't light it up because they barely had to throw the ball compared to where he was against Indianapolis the week prior to that. Yeah. I want to talk about Brock Party if you guys don't mind because he's been unbelievable to start the season. But guess what this week, he gets the Seattle Seahawks. They have been really good against quarterbacks so far this year. Only one quarterback has topped 9.8 fantasy points, not 19.8, 9.8 fantasy points. It was in fact Marcus Mario. Oh, sorry. That's right. He was through for 186 yards and had three passing touchdowns. That's why there's not a single quarterback that has even thrown for 190 yards against them so far this year. They have been unbelievable. They have as many interceptions as a defense as they've allowed touchdowns to be thrown against them. So it's been touchdowns are bust right now for quarterbacks. Luckily Brock Party has thrown multiple touchdowns in every single game so far this season. He's actually second amongst quarterbacks and total touchdowns. So even though it's a really, really tough matchup, Brock Party has been good enough that I think you can still roll with him here against the Seattle Seahawks. We're just lowering our expectations rather than having him as like a top five ish guy. He's more like quarterback 8 to 10 ish for us here. A low end QB 1, but still someone you can start against Seattle. I'll say it scares the heck out of me. Oh, of course it does. Yeah. To the point where he had it, like I don't know that I feel I have him as quarterback 11. I don't know how likely QB 11 is for Brock party to finish. Like I don't mean specifically quarterback. I mean, somewhere that 8 to 12 range. Do you guys recall Brock party in back to back weeks during the fantasy playoff last year finishing his QB 1? Yes. Massive. Call what happened against the Seattle Seahawks the following week. Yes. He got into that. Absolutely. Yes. We called the end time my clay. Like he was just awful in every way. As opposed to excellence. I like when I get that line through the four lines. Five now. I feel good. So yes. So Brock party was good. Like and I know that things change from year to year. And the Niners have some new pieces. The Seahawks have a few pieces on defense that there are playing bigger roles or are new entirely. A lot of familiarity between these two sides. Mike McDangol. This would be Mike McDonnell. Excuse me. We'll be his fifth regular season matchup against Brock party. And this is the personnel is a huge part of it. But Mike McDonnell knows how to scheme it up against this San Francisco 49ers offense approach. So I'm I still have Miss quarterback 11. Yep. But he's the I am scared of what the outlook could be or what the output could be on Sunday. Yeah. And Purdy's had some good historical games against Seattle. And that includes 2020 48 18 plus fantasy points in both. And in the first meeting last year. It's 16. But he had two interceptions in that game. So you got 16 out of them. I mean, if you started any quarterback against Seattle and got 16. You were probably like I'll take it. But not great. And then to your point two games, including the playoff game, five point two points and five point three points. So it's a tough spot. Very, very high risk this week. Four games into the season. Brock party is on the incredibly short list of quarterbacks that has actually delivered for you for straight weeks. So that's the reason why I have confidence. But I agree with you guys on all of the Seattle concern. We've said it though. Since week one, when we still were talking about Drake May and all the other guys with hard matchups like it's Josh Allen. And he's on his own. Even if you move him down, it's still to like the middle of QB one that's as far as he'll go. But everyone else is up for grabs for where you where you rank. I'm depending on the matchup. He's diving to some running back rankings here for week five, one through 10. Jameer Gibbs, Bajan Robinson, Jonathan Taylor, Derek Henry, Kyron Williams, Christian McCaffrey, Ashton Gentie, Javonte Williams, Chase Brown and James Cook. That is one through 10, 11 through 20, Aaron Jones, Breeze Hall, Bucky Irving, Jeremiah. I love it. 14 disappointing. He is not higher with how much he has been a part of that offense. But they've just given too much love to out Tyler Algier as well. Unfortunately, Jaylen Warren, Quinchon Judkins, DeAndre Swift, Basel Tutton and a manual Wilson with Cam Skataboo rounding out the top 20 guys. That list does not feel great. And in case you didn't love that, you're going to love this one even more 21 through 30 at running backs from Andre Stevenson, Tony Pollard, David Montgomery, RJ Harvey, Omari and Hampton has fallen all the way to RB 25, given the now. What kind of seems to be a potential committee approach based on Mike McDaniel in the backfield just does not feel good. And they have dangerous and they have done. It's just really, really not great. Who do you guys want to start with? Field, do you want to go with Basel Tutton? Have you decided where who he is? No, that's kind of why I wanted to bring him up. I think he might just be the player that I feel the least grip on as far as what he is and how I should be ranking him in fantasy football. Yeah. So I've just kind of put him in the middle of the running back. Yeah. So RB 17 is the consensus rank. I'm at RB 19. Let's look at some of the indicators. 50.7% of the snaps. Not ideal. Yeah, ideal, right? That's okay. Like that's your not for a line of clock running back. No, you're off to field as much as you're on the field basically. Crazy volume in the passing game. No, negative. Guarantee to get goal line opportunities. Also a negative. But there are some good things here. There are some things we like. You know, he's run the football effectively this year, especially compared to last year. His yards per attempt is up nearly a full yard. It's up from 3.7 to 4.6 so far. That's great. The season. And you guys probably recall in one of the reasons why Tutton was this trendy, buzzy player leading into the draft is what he lacked in size. He made up for in speed and explosiveness. And it's like this guy is a home run waiting to happen. Last year, he had a 10 plus yard run in three out of 17 games played. So I wouldn't exactly say he was much of a home run hitter for Jacksonville last year. Sure. Still hasn't ripped off some, you know, 55 yard, touchdown run for them this season, but he does have a 10 plus yard run in every game this year. So we're at least trending up, seen a little bit more of the explosive runs from Tutton running better just in general and running back feels disastrously thin this season. I know we talk about it all the time. And I'm probably being a prisoner of the moment. But this one feels this year feels really gnarly. I mean, it's like what point on that list? And I understand we have no Chuba Hubbard and no Kenneth Walker, the third. But if we had Tutton at 17 and we all are aligned, like that doesn't feel great. How far down the list you have to get before the part where you're like, it doesn't feel great occurs. I think I texted you guys Monday when I was doing my first run. I was like RB 10 or nine, honestly, like this could be this next guy could be 11 or 20. Like it's it's it's pretty gross. It's a gigantic tier of a lot of guys that have a lot of problems right now. Like running back 11 to your point, you said is Aaron Jones this week. Like do you really feel like Aaron Jones is at borderline top 12 running back like this week with the matchup. But like does he give you this a name? Aaron Jones give you that kind of satisfaction as a fantasy manager. The name doesn't put the 25 touches will have against a bad scene. Defense will. So that's why he is that high. But yeah, some of the names behind him, you're like, man, I wish we could rank love higher. I wish we could rank Judkins higher and so forth and so on. I mean, Wilson's in our top 20 this week because of the volume he's getting. But I do want to make one more point on two, which is this is going to do this is what's going to define his season. I think so far this season, Jacksonville has trailed on 2% of their offensive snaps. 2% so he's already been off to field half the time. And they and they don't have to throw.
the ball very much. So what happens in more competitive games? Is he going to be out there? And well, if they have to throw more, maybe he does get an extra target or two. And he's fine. And fantasy on top of what he's doing as a rusher, but that rushing volume will come down in those circumstances. But if they're in more competitive games and they're throwing out Laquan Allen and Amira Abdul, who by the way are already playing, they're using four running backs. He's going to be a big problem for tunes. He's just going to have too many dud weeks right now. He's really relying from a bonus, basically, of like three or four carries a game because they're always ahead. They're just always ahead or tied in game. So that's what's going to kind of determine him. I agree. For now, he's a back end RV too. And that's why he's not a lineup block for me right now. Most weeks, there's four, you know, two running, two running, two starting running backs because of buys and then multiple running backs as injuries out this week that obviously boosted them a little bit much like Aaron Jones. So far this season, Mike, you've been great. Do you want to dive in? Aaron Jones sex, not the sex, not terrible. This is getting out of control. Seriously. So one sided, so one sided. My turn. Yes. All right. I'm going to talk about Aaron Jones. Hey, you just brought him up. Well done. Well, I'm going to give you a point just for a seamlessly. Thank you, seamlessly getting right to that. I was well done. She had that. I got one. Well done. Aaron Jones. Last three games. Here's his touches and his yards. I'm going to keep him. I know Jordan Mason, 23 for 105, 22 for 92, 24 for 198 in his most recent game. I'll also had a touchdown back in week one. So he's been solid so far. We sort of saw this coming after week one. We said, look, Aaron Jones is in his 30s. He can't do this all season. But the next month, while Mason's out, they're probably going to run him out there. Maybe 80% of the time. And that's exactly what has happened. He has 37 carries in 14 targets just over the last two weeks. If that's not enough to get him in the RB one conversation, he draws the scenes of a lot of the most yards and touchdowns and fantasy points are running back so far this season. They they've allowed 25 plus to three running backs already both Robinson's last week. And then Deandre Swift earlier this season also gave 17 to RJ or to Derek Henry also gave 21.7 combined to the two Raiders running backs who kind of had I think Mike Washington scored that week. So they were kind of even. But great matchup, great volume. How do you not chase this this week? So my yeah, yeah, good try. Good try, bud. Good try. Good try. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Oh my god, Michael. Oh my gosh, incredible analysis on Aaron Jones. Thank you. Thank you. It's an honor. It's for clamped at how good that was. That was a lot. I'm giving you two points for that. That's a two pointer. Yeah, six to three. Yeah, when you do the slow clap into the reclumped, it's, it's always were two points. Yeah, question for you guys. And I don't think you can pull this off because we just talked about how narrowly running back is. But I think Jordan Mason's back in the next week or two. Yeah, and that'll change things. Change it enough. Do you take your opportunity to sell high on Aaron Jones? Absolutely. If you have the ability, if someone needs him, if someone without Ken Walker is looking for a running back this week and you think maybe you could just, you know, really interesting. No, it value him as like a fringe RV to maybe a flex. I would say something along those lines. That's what I would view him as. So, yeah, if you can get more than that, especially if someone's really desperate at running back, I mean, look, it's a weekly game. You want to use them this week. But I mean, the wheels could fall off at any time. And once Mason's back is value is going to take a big hit. Quick question. Have the wheels fallen off Deandre Swift? I don't think so. Okay, because when you look at his box score, and if you're just a box score looker, it doesn't feel great. RB five, week one, RB 16, week two, RB 22, week three, RB 37, week four, only one game over 12.9 fantasy points this year. It's not great. That was that week one, 59 point barrage. But here's the thing that you love. He's still eighth in touches. He's still tenth in scrimmage yards. He's fourth amongst running backs with eight carries inside the five yard line. He is getting goal line touches. I understand that this is one of those situations where like, last week, he fumbled the ball. They went with the hot hand. I think this is part of the things. It hasn't worked out quite the same way that Ben Johnson did it in Detroit. But I do think that there will be weeks where if Kalman and guys cook in the same way that Dave Montgomery was some weeks, they're just going to let him roll until there's a reason not to. So you may be kind of picking and choosing Deandre Swift is still the RB one in this backfield. They utilize him that way. They think about him that way, regardless of what you see in the box score. I still think he's the RB one. And by the way, even though one running back has topped 15 fantasy points against the Packers, it was Bijan with 35.3. They've still allowed even on the old one running back as top 15. They've allowed eight total touchdowns to running back so far. Second most in the NFL and the third most rushing yards to running backs. So this is a really nice potential bounce back opportunity for Deandre Swift. Yeah, I think the only risk with Swift is if they decide, look, Kalman and guy, that's is the hot hand in for real now. And he's going to just take control of this backfield as a rusher. Swift isn't going anywhere though. He's going to have a role and he'll be involved certainly in passing situations. But you know, there's a chance that they're like the even it out a little bit more kind of what everyone wants to happen with the Rams. Right. We want more. Everyone wants more Blacorn. I don't think that's correct. But I mean, that's what everyone's kind of been fishing for. But we did see in Carolina last year. Granted, Hubbard was a little beat up. But that's Rico Dotto was the hot hand. And they just wrote him a little bit more games. That's the only risk. I think with Swift, but he's not going to disappear. He's going to remain at least 50 50. Agreed. I'm wondering if like a good, I think butter would be a good new nickname for you. Say anything, it's just so smooth. It's both it's, it's, you know what? It's smooth. Before we move right now, he's going too far. I might move on to wide receivers. Let's do a quick check-in in the control room very fast because we got something going on in there really quickly. Oh, it's worked to seven. Wow. Oh, oh, really gratuitous compliments for seven right now for field. Okay. Okay. All right. Only two for Daniel. I don't know. I give him three because, uh, well, one of them was a one was a two-parter. Yeah, yeah. Probably a good two. Alright. We kind of rank it myself. Well, you've said you've timed Daniel. It's 1026. Yeah. That's great. You've got 10 more minutes. I would say to wheel. New clone, by the way. Let's dive into wide receivers wide receivers one through 10 year and week five. Who can accua wide receiver number one? He came back last week, guys. Look pretty good. A football. I thought, but other than Mike, I thought it was the best best thing it. I can't say you up like this. Jackson, Smith and Jigba, Jamar Chase. I'm under our same brown CD lamb, Justin Jefferson, Chris O'Live, Drake London, and Nico Collins with Michael Wilson. That rounds out your top 10 on unbelievable list of studs 11 through 20. They flowers, Devante Adams, Garrett Wilson, T Higgins, dealing with that. A doctor, injury, still day to day, feeling good about it though. Malik neighbors, Parker Washington, Christian Watson, George Pickens, Carnell Tate, and Matthew Golden. That rounds out your top 20 21 through 30. Terri McClaurin, Mike Evans, DJ Moore, still awaiting word on what he's going to be for this week. Obviously, dealing with that shoulder injury that has been aggravated this last week. Luther Burton at 24, DK McCaff, Jalen Waddle, Josh Downes, Denzel Boston, JMo, and Debo Samuel, rounding out the top 30. Debo Samuel has 15 or more fantasy points in three of his four games this year. Doesn't really feel sustainable, but he's looked really good. So he's in that flex radar this week. Yeah, one of those games he had zero targets for eight yards. Exactly. He's had some weird things. Such a great point. Like I was, I couldn't quite remember what the stat was. Mike, as always, Johnny. Talk about George Pickens. This is my favorite show, though. I don't know. We'll discuss this game in more depth. I'm going to be the judge every week from now. Yes, I'll bet you are of that. George Pickens games home, man, or night. You think so? Yeah, that's the unlock. That's the, that's the unlock. Yes. Okay, the unlock that was like a betting lock. No, no, no, no. Is that like a thing kids say or something? No, we're just finally unlocking George Pickens in 2026. That sounds like something they would say, though. We're doing got to all come on. I feel like they, you're the unlock. What is that? I don't know what that means. Did I just you say I know it's cool? Did I just start a trend? No, dang it. Didn't Mike start it? I think you did. Go ahead. You said you said it. George Pickens games coming to mar night. Some of the, just like, just the straight, just the brass tax of it all is solid. Ninth and routes run, 24th and targets, 22nd and receptions, 28th and receiving yards. I feel like George Pickens has had a bottom five percentile outcome of what his season could be through four games. I agree. So far this year, I think this is a balance of CD Lam is amazing. And also George Pickens just getting weirdly unlucky. He has only one end zone target. And that's got to change. He's George Pickens. He's gigantic. He is massive and deserves more opportunities near the end zone. They play the Buccaneers tomorrow night. Is anybody scared of this Buccaneers team at all? No, the Buccaneers have allowed a wide receiver to reach 20 plus fantasy points in two separate games this year. And it's not like they played a bunch of like juggernaut offense over the last weeks. They faced Cleveland, Minnesota, and Green Bay. And they have allowed a wider receiver to get the 20 plus fantasy points in two of those three games. So I ain't worried about the Buccaneers. George Pickens making his mark tomorrow night. I think the Pickens revenge tour begins on Thursday. Is it the last two weeks that we, so last week, obviously CD Lam had 21 targets. Basically, it was the entire offense. Was it the week before that that Jaffante had three touchdowns? He had three touchdowns this past game. That's passed game. Okay. Oh, if you got it, it was both of them together. Okay. I did not realize how to see it like between if you take the aggregate dominance from Javante Williams and CD Lam, it just reminds you of like a daily output from Michael. Wow, we're up to 10 ding ding ding ding ding ding. Yeah, you're not, you're not you're not going to come back on. I don't think so. This is rough for you. You're playing it at this. I can be bought. So this is a problem. I can be bought. This is a problem. This is a problem for you. Did you get my gift card by the way before the show? I didn't get that yet. Oh, no, you can just give me stuff out of your wallet. Why don't you go? Why don't you talk about carnalty? Yeah, carnalty that's very quiet.
concerning start to this season, not his fault necessarily, but very quiet start, but trending at home. - Why do you carry so much cash in your pocket, Daniel? - Dude, this is great, you're getting lots of points for these. - All right. - Why do you have so much cash? - $60. - How many points is $60? - One of us is a baller, that's why. - This is what he walks around. - How many points is this worth? We gotta figure this out. - 12? - Someone run the numbers, I think 12. - One more than however many I have. - Yeah, whatever it is. - Anyway, Cardinal Tate fell as 6 for 58 on nine targets against the Giants two weeks ago and then comes out big time against the Ravens 9 for 145 on 12 targets. That's what we want to see out of a top five draft pick in the NFL draft. His target share now is just a hair under 30%. It's 9th in the entire NFL. It was 43% in week four, the main concern with him going forward is will he find the end zone? Is this guy that's gonna have two touchdowns by season's end? Cause the offense isn't very good. He has zero touchdown so far. He has one end zone target and is expected touchdown total. Even with all that volume is 0.8. We need more work near the goal. I'm he's gonna get his game to the next level. I do have the Titans receivers with the easiest remaining schedule. This is based on the first month of the season. - Love that. - So more on that, I think tomorrow. But that's appealing for Tate and their plane Houston this week. Who generally or usually we would think this would be a brutal matchup and has not been so far. - It's fantasy points of runners-evers. - The most 44.6 per game. They've allowed at least 18 fantasy points to a receiver in every game so far this season. So Carnell Tate, you just have to look at the facts four weeks in. - That was great. - This is a matchup that can be had. The Texans are struggling. - My stick. - Tate should be locked in. Last night you actually sent an email with your strength to schedule. I drew a real nice bubble bath and had a nice glass, a saw VB. And I actually just read through the PDF. And it was. Isn't that PDF cool though? - Intoxicating. - Yeah. - It really is. It was really dope. Check it out. I posted it on Twitter yesterday. It's on the website ESPN.com. And it's just like the main charts, all six positions. - Yeah. - It's their strength to schedule so far through four games and then the rest of the season. But if you click the PDF, it expands to every week. So you can look at each week of the season and what it looks like. So I think it's pretty cool. I agree. And we'll talk about it more later this week. - Because I clay NFL as the handle. And if we get Mike to five million followers on Twitter, I'll pay off his mortgage. - Yes, five million. How long do I have to do that? By the end of today's. - Come on, get me followers. Come on. - Do you still own one mortgage? - No. - Different. - Not out of preference. - Okay, let's start. - Matthew Golden, guys, I'm going to talk about him. Matthew Golden's been great so far this year. Ninth in targets. Like ninth in targets. 12, 6, 12, 7. A little bit of a yo-yo situation there. But four straight games with six plus targets, we will take that every single week. Two weeks as a top 20 wide receiver, both of those weeks had over 15 and a half fantasy points. We kind of talked about it was more narrative. But when we came into the season with all the stuff that was happening with the running backs, it's like, are the running backs bad enough that Jordan Love does eventually just have to throw a bunch? Turns out that's sort of what's happening. Running backs are like a big old plate of dirt, big old pile of mushrooms. I've never met a mushroom I could like. I've never met a packer's running back. I can like, but I am in. I'm on green on bath. That's fair. You didn't grow up a lion's fan. I am still in on Matthew Golden and Christian Watson with the target share and with the way that that offensive line is playing, which is not great by the way. I think part of why I like Matthew Golden a little bit more than Christian Watson is because he's just peppered, maybe potentially closer to line of scrimmage with some easy stuff that that he can use with his do some yak stuff with. So I like Matthew Golden this week. I think he's an option for us here as a flex consideration packers. Third heaviest offense so far to your point. Pass heaviest. What did I say? Third heaviest. They have some big offense. Yeah. Well, Christian Watson's a big guy. Yeah. Third, sorry. Third pass heaviest offense so far. Don't worry. We all make mistakes. I make many more than you do, but it's very rare for you. You know what I mean? Yes. Matthew Golden, also my four-year-old's favorite NFL player. Seriously? Are you guys familiar with K-Pop Demon Hunters? Yes. A little bit. Yeah. They have the big hit Golden is the song. Yeah. Yeah. I asked her what her favorite color was when we were, I was returning to this. Did she say golden? She said golden pink. Oh, okay. Golden pink. Naturally. Golden pink is a color. Is it? I think that's count. Well, if she had just said golden. Yeah. That would have been not right. Yeah, but golden pink. Golden pink counts. Okay. Golden pink. That's good. That's two colors. Yeah. That's good. It's okay. Have you never met a child? They're not very few or just like. You work on every day. Yes. Very few are just like green. It's like, well, blue and pink and, you know, it's usually multiple. Which is fine. Rainbow. My daughter's just rainbow, which is all the colors. That's fair. Yeah. I met my son when he was 15. He doesn't talk to me about his favorite color. It's for what it's for. It's for the more sophisticated conversation. It's something different. Yeah. Let's talk about. Let's talk about it as a tie dance. Oh no. Actually, we're going to do the mail back first, guys. Before we do that, shout out to our buddy Eric Moody. Follow him on social media at Eric and Moody. First question comes from fire stick. Wants to know start to PPR League. Quinchon Judkins. Jeremiah love or a manual Wilson this week, guys. This one's pretty straightforward. Yeah, I agree. Quinchon Judkins. And I love Jeremiah love. I agree. And I'm a Wilson apologist just because of the situation. But I would still lean toward the other two guys. I would too. I would too. Good. Yep. Thank you. All right. Next one here. From our chat. Yeah. Regal desert eagle. There you go. Thank you, Field. Mike Mike told me. Yes. Colson Loveland. I got you. Joke Farters in this week, guys. Not joke Farters. So not enough targets at all. We're going Colson Loveland. Yeah. Finally. Well, like at this point with love on, we're like, that's a passable day. We'll take that. Yes. He's so Caleb gets back. Then we need some big game. So for now, we'll take passable and we got that last week. Give me what we got last week. Yep. That's it. All right. One more. We got another one. This one comes from Bert Macklin FBI. Scottaboo usage. Well, Field. I just made a trade for Kim. Scottaboo and not in the 16 team more roomly. Oh, yeah. What did it was? Parker Washington first. Oh, yeah, yeah. Okay. Which I'm not trying to justify the trade. I just want to give the context. Absolutely. My team has Travis HN as our RB2, which he wasn't good, but at least he was a warm body. You need a running back. You need a running back badly. So we are able to stem the tide at wide receiver a bit with Devon Valle is our fourth player. Yeah. I think I'm fine with Scottaboo. I think he's fine. Like, certainly not the player that he was last year. I don't think the use is just concerning though. Like, he's still getting, well, I think I'm fine with Scottaboo. I think he's fine. I think he's fine. I think he's fine. Like, he's still getting, what, 15 carries a game. Yeah. A lot of opportunities. It's kind of like tune, but we're in a worse offense so far. Because he's not getting goal line work. The efficiency hasn't been there. Three and a half yards per carry. But a lot of that just, they're just grinding him between the tackles. Like, they have to, we need more bigger plays. But just two carries inside the five. That's why only his one touchdown. If he starts getting touchdowns. And I'd like to see the passing game usage be a little more consistent. It's not, it's been kind of all over the mad four four. That would help. But they do draw Washington. They've been kind of quietly good against running backs. Jonathan Taylor is the only one to get to 11 against them. So that's for this week. But I, yeah, I guess they answer this specific question. Not super worried, but he's fine. Looks more like a mid-range RB2 at best at the moment. Maybe we can get more out of them though. It's weird because like, in Jacksonville, I sort of understand the Chris Rodriguez getting goal line touches because he's a big powerful. Yeah. In New York, it's like, man, I don't really like seating goal line carries to nausea errors, right? Like, whatever's left of not. I was just going to say that you used the term like what is the husk of nausea? Here is part of that. That is the fact that Scadiboo is 10th in the NFL and carries. Like they are just given it to him as much as they possibly can between the 20s, I guess. So it's a tricky one. Let's talk about some tight ends. Let's do it. We'll start with Mike Clay. Why? We were talking about some tight ends. I know, but why me first. He was trying to compliment. Oh, well, you got to be there we go. There we go. That's a hundred. I got 105. I was so the $20 bills count. You've been working out though. You can tell. 106. Okay. A lot of squats. All right. I've been slacking. Yeah. TJ Hawkinson. Wait. No, I'm going to give the rankings first. Sorry. I know it was because I meet you uncomfortable by complimenting your body. We're going to start with tight ends. One through 10. Tramik Bride. Brock Bowers. George Kiddell. Sam LaPorta. Robert Warren. Harold Fanon. Tucker Kraft. Juan Johnson. And Colston. Loveland. Colston. Loveland does make it as a top 10 tight end this week. TJ Hawkinson. Coming off of last week's big game at 11. Mark Andrews. Dalton Kinkade. Brenton Strange. Kenyon Sedeck. Pat Fryermuth. Michael Mayer. Kedot and AJ Barner. Hunter Henry. And Lord help you if you need to start any of the names on this second half of this list. All right. Look at him. Who's the head? I'm sorry. I feel this. It's just a tough one. I don't know. Just two. Yeah. Yeah. But you know, let's talk about a few of these guys. You have like LaPorta. Yeah. No, there's been a few that have kind of come on this season. We have a few guys that stepped up that maybe we didn't plan on. One of them being John Johnson for the Saints. He's been awesome. Mm hmm. Fun player to watch too now. And this season as we know, throws the ball. A ton. Tyler Schuck has 18 more passing attempts than any quarterback in the league. Mike mentioned the run defense issues. I'm not sure they're much better defending the past either. But this Saints defense is as bad as Mike is great. Good opportunity for them to continue to throw the football lot on offense. And you want John's and amongst tight ends is fifth.
in routes run, fifth and targets, third and end zone targets. He does get those looks when they are near the goal line. No offense, who does not totally impact the value of juwan Johnson. But if he's available, it's potentially slightly, you know, like a target less per game for juwan Johnson. He was a scratch this past Monday night against Atlanta. We'll see his status for this upcoming weekend. It's a bad matchup against Minnesota. I think without spoiling it, the Saints win that game though. Ooh, interesting. I think I just, yeah, a little bit. That's okay. We'll come back to it. Mike, who do you want to go with? I'm going to talk about TJ Hawkinson, your old buddy. Oh, yeah, buddy right now. I'm in Minnesota. Ever since that injury a couple of years ago, he hasn't been that same sort of, I wouldn't go as far to say elite fantasy tie-down. But certainly, like in the top five conversation, most weeks, hasn't been there. But maybe Kyler Murray can re-unlock that last week. He did 13 targets, 13 catches, 119 yards against the Dolphin CD, 39 percent target share. Guys, he's up to 26 percent target share this season. That ranks 18th in the entire NFL and fourth at tight end. So he's getting a ton of volume. There could be, this could be something with Kyler. Tremac Bride had a 27 percent target share with Kyler during weeks one through five last season when he was healthy. It was 30 percent the year before the full season with Kyler. Remember before Tremac Bride broke out, it was Zach Hertz, who was super productive with Kyler Murray. So there could be something here in terms of added volume and they played the same. So it's your point of struggle. They've struggled against this position, 28 points to Brock Bauer's. Michael Mayer also scored in that game. And Mark Andrews and Sam Laporte both had fine, fine days there, but both had at least nine and a half points. So I think Hawkinson is a very high floor play here in week five. And if he finds the end zone, we can be pushing 20 points here. Love that. Who do you think wins that one? Uh, who do I pick? I think I'll probably pick Minnesota. I just, but they have to build a score. That's a really good kick. That's a really smart. That's smart. Mike. I like that. I want to cut up this episode by the way. I need. He has been talent office, uh, yes, sent just forward it right along. That's right. Uh, Colson, Loveland, guys, I'm rolling with them here as a top 10 tight end at this point. What we saw last week needs to be the standard, the expectation of what we get out of Colson, Loveland first three weeks of the season, two targets, three targets, four targets. Last week, nine targets. That's what it needs to be. I'd love to know what's happening right now. Six for 57. He started much slower than what we wanted. But a lot of this, to be honest, is just anecdotal. Colson, Loveland is an unbelievably talented and athletic freak to play a position in which we have very few athletically talented freaks that are at the top of their game. Even though he has struggled and started slow, I am still going to trust the talent and hope that they get him involved like we saw last week. So I'm rolling with him again as a low end tight end one. Colson, Loveland, athletic freak, Brock Bauer's athletic freak. We're talking just tight ends here. Yeah. Tramik, bride, George Kittle. I would say at the top is Mike Clay. Oh, we had the number one. Yes. For sure. For sure. You both agreed there. That's a wash out. But I appreciate it. A couple of quick streaming defenses for you guys just so that you know, uh, Dallas Cowboys. They were the most added defense this week. You want to know why they are taking on the Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay, Buccaneers. George Pick is going to have three touchdowns. The Cowboys might have eight sacks. Yep. So that's going to be a very big one. You can look at all those guys there last week against the Packers Packers had two sacks, two interceptions, three sacks, only a lot of 14 points. Love that as a potential streaming defense. Mike, what about you? Yeah. Looking at the Bengals here, third in the NFL and sacks and they draw Miami. They've been the third most generous to opposing defense as this season, a 10 fantasy points per game. So Bengals, good streamer this week. Deal. I got the Jaguars who have the Eagles coming up. Uh, this game was over in London. This Jacksonville defense has been really solid so far this year and the Eagles, of course, are now without Lane Johnson. Yeah. It was significant injuries along the offensive line. Devon, they Smith could be out. Dallas Goddard could be out. Safe one. Barclay could be out. So it's Jalen Hertz throwing the Darius Cooper and Zach Irts and Devon, Don Tavy and Wix. So a tough sledding for Philadelphia on Sunday. I actually think they keep that game at least very close. If not win, if there's a gratingness and a toughness about this Eagles team, uh, and this is not just me trying to compliment Mike for real. I think they, they will find a way to stay in this game. I hope so. I don't know if they're going to win or not, but I do think this Philadelphia team is going to improve to us. They dig deep when people expect them to be out. I don't, I don't really know what to expect either. Maybe they do hang in there like they did with the Rams. That's a game. Everyone thought the Rams would handle this feels like a game that could be 33 to three, but I don't, I hope, I hope that's not not the case. All three of those defenses are available in more than 50% of leagues through the three most added defenses through waivers, but still available in a number of leagues for you to be able to go on grab them. I have a legitimate question for you. Um, one of the highest projected defense in this week is the Jets, um, against the Browns. Yep. The Browns seem like they're playing better offense. Is that there's still some to Sean Watson turning it over and in his projection. Okay. That's a big part of that. And also the Browns are not exactly lighting it up offensively in terms of scoring big points. So I think there's a little bit of a cap on that. So that's, uh, generally where. Okay. So not getting too worried about that. The projection for, uh, basically that how it works in terms of like the metrics for a quarterback is it evolves as the season goes on. So obviously to open the season, it's based on historical numbers and year-to-year progression, kind of regression to mean in some categories. But every week as they, you know, 40 more drop acts, it'll just start to use more of what we've seen this season. So Watson's numbers, his efficiency projections are getting better, but we're not totally forgetting about it's a small sample with him. He still has turned it over this season a few times as well. Made some mistakes. So, uh, still a guy that could be a liability in that area. Understood. Let's do a little fantasy face off. Me versus field might gets to be the judge. Whoa, we didn't change the animation. Mike should be in the middle there. Sorry about that, Michael. I apologize. I'll talk with our team about it and just know that I'll handle it. We could pay all the great sitcoms of our of our childhood. Malcolm in the middle. Yeah. That's true. Yeah. That's right. Frankie Munia's was a big racer now. Yes. He drives in the Arches series. Yeah. Or did he go to trucks? I think he went to the truck series. Either way, I think he's fallen on some tough times of late. Yeah. Well, yeah. And he has. But, uh, yeah, it was cool to see him make that change. He's like our age too. And then he's living the dream, right? Really good. Like as a racer. Uh, I don't want to disrespect his game, but work in progress. But, you know, it's hard when you, he's an actor, right? For so he's done that his whole life and then he decided, hey, I'm going to invest in a team and race because it's something I want to do. Why not? And he's great. He's developing that. He's a development. He's a developing driver. That's what Mike Lays hope going to be someday. He's a development driver. He just wants to be able to win. That'd be great. Wouldn't you? Awesome. You would, would you do it? Yeah. Would you drive around? I race go cards. And my dad was a champion racer on dirt in Pennsylvania. Uh, one, two track championships, and in the late 80s. So he was a faster than cars go mine. Oh, mine weren't. I mean, this was when I was a kid. So not super fast, but I don't know what the miles per hour was, but enough to be competitive. All right. All right. Let's dive into a couple of guys that we're going to bring to the table. Sorry. Do it. Fantasy face off field and I are both going to bring a player to the table that we would rather start over the other person's player. When I start the quarterback position, do you want to go first? Or do you want me to go first? You know, let's go with beauty before age. All right. So I will go first. Wait a second. I'm almost a man. Yeah. I can't wait to turn 40. So I can say I'm a man. I mean, I actually don't want to turn 40 when I turn 40. I used that, uh, that gift like once and then I said it like once or twice and then it was like, okay, all right. I'm over. So you do better. You better utilize it more. I got bone X bringing to the table, bone X. Okay. All right. Last couple of weeks. Here's the deal. He was really good two weeks ago against the Rams. By really good. I mean, his fantasy points were really good. 24.14. He's actually really struggled so far this year, 5.4, 14.1, 13.5. But you look at the defenses they've played. Kansas City, Jacksonville, the Rams and San Francisco. Fair. So it has been a very difficult road. Chargers who they're playing this week have allowed three quarterbacks to top 16 and a half fantasy points against them. That's a much nicer floor than it is. The difficult matchups he's had in recent memory. By the way, on the other side, field guy is going to play the 49ers. They've only allowed one quarterback to top 13.6 fantasy points. So they've done really good so far this year. So I just think this is a defense. It can be taken advantage of. You know, last week it was a situation in which it did not feel like we needed to utilize bone X quite as much. It was a much more difficult of a matchup. He threw the ball 40, 42 times though still. So I'm going with bone X as a high end QB2 over one Sam Darnell that this week. Yeah, interesting. That's interesting call because bone X has been so bad this year. He has been. Yes. I don't like playing players that, you know, you get the jekyll and hide nature to them. I prefer guys that are Super Bowl champions and a head agree that bring it to the table when it matters the most like Sam Darnell too. I grant you has only played in two full games this year, but two weeks ago against Washington. He absolutely lit it up nearly 28 fantasy points, which is more points in any game or more points in bone X score in any game so far this season. Yeah. Yeah. You're right. The San Francisco has largely held quarterbacks. Check it's average. Coby versus that. So first 26 fantasy points against the Niners. The Rams forgot it was the regular season when they went to Australia 10 minutes before kickoff. I'm throwing that Matthew Stafford game away. And then they played bone X who we just talked about. Who bow, you don't know what you're going to get. Sam Darnell and the Seahawks team locks in. They knock out the San Francisco 49ers for their first loss of the season. Sam Darnell to JSN two times. You heard it here first. Sam Darnell to better play than bone X. Hey, by the way, they did that last week, right? Oh, wait. No, he had 13.3 fantasy points again.
The chargers are trash, but Mike, did you get a haircut? I don't know why your hair looks good. I'm getting a haircut today at 12 30. Okay. Thank you for not noticing. All right. I have to decide on this one. Bonyx. Good call. Good cases. Sam Donalds. Be old. Get back in line. Daniel, you win this one. Yes. You know where you got me? Where? You got me with the tough schedule so far. That's what it is. That's what it is. Four games are tough. And I still believe in Bonyx's talent. I think that's a fair point. I think he gets it going. The right direction. All right. Yeah. He has a lot of cool insights. He had a post last night on Twitter that the Broncos, I think, have played four of the top five teams in the ESPN football power index. Really? So they've faced as difficult of a schedule, basically. Yeah. It's funny. You say that. I noticed that the strength to schedule chart shows the easiest schedule of remaining for the defense special teams is the Broncos going forward. So you wonder why that's supposed to be an elite defense. Why have they struggled while the schedule has been brutal going forward? It's very light. Although Pat's are tan injured. Yeah. All right. All right. I'll let you go first year for the second one field just so you can kind of get your feet underneath you a little bit. All right. So I think it's pretty obvious who's going to start up running back for the Eagles this weekend, right? Yes. They literally only have one guy. That might be me. Right. And so the thing about Wilshipley is that he's going to get a ton of volume this week. Sure. On top of that, Wilshipley is a very gifted pass catcher. The Eagles have talked about how they're going to play more under center now with Jalen Hertz. Kind of meet Jalen back in the middle. This Eagles offense is going to get back on track a little bit. Now what you may not know is that Wilshipley has English roots. Okay. All right. Wils has three uncles who still live in London and they are amongst the biggest and most popular on the internet arm wrestling scene. I want this to be true. In the entire world, those guys are all going to be there and they're going to be intimidating the Jaguars before the game on Sunday morning. Is this your own bet against Wilshipley and his three uncles live in London? This is real. All right. Like this is, you sold it really well. It's not real. It's not real. But Wilshipley is going to get more opportunities than I believe Kyle Menungai will get. He is not necessarily going to be as efficient as a non guy behind that awesome, awesome offensive line in Chicago, but volume, good pass catching. And I think he's going to find his way into the end zone. Give me a Wilshipley. I hear you. I'm going to go over the top on this one though. That's an arm wrestling reference that neither one of you get but a bunch of people in our chat understand. That's right. Kyle Menungai. Bears have played how many games this year? Four games, right? Yes. That will be correct. Okay. In those four games, a Bears running back has topped 20 fantasy points three times so far. Impressive. Two of them are him, right? Yes. Including last week where he had 146 Russian yards and two rushing touchdowns. He has done it twice. In four games this year, the best in Eagles running back has done is 11.9 fantasy points. That was Tank Bigsby, by the way. Not even Saikwan Barkley. Saikwan had two nine point games in his two healthy games. I just have much more faith in the Bears running backs this season. I have much more faith in the Bears offense this season. I recognize Will Shipley will play probably more than Kyle Menungai. I'm just going to default to what I think is going to be a better offense and the ability that if it runs through Kyle Menungai like it did last week, you have a higher chance at it upside. You know I'm a practical numbers guy and you just made up facts to make your case. I can't. I can't work that. Thank you. Point to Daniel. So he gave me $60. No, no. Whoa. Dang it. I did. I thought I'd have to go menungai here, but yeah, sorry guys, I expect better field can do better. Will Shipley is going to touch the ball of time. He absolutely will. He is. I think you will have more touches than Kyle Menungai. I really don't know what they're going to do. I went in surprise if it's 45% of the snaps are 60. I don't know. Like 70. I just don't. Who do you have right now like Amy and Pierce as the two? Is there anyone that you want to start? Jayden Blue. I don't want to start any Eagles running about it, especially in a game where I think they're going to have a hard time. You don't want to start a single legal right now. No, they're going to have a hard time. I really believe that. All right. Cool. Sorry about this field. Okay. You tried so hard to make Mike be your friend earlier too. I did. I think I'm going to crush you in this last one. Yeah, but one of the compliments was I'm just practical and practical guy, I got to listen to the info and make the right choice there. It's very important. Ready for a clean suite. No, I'm not. This is serious business. All right. Who is it? That's our random rank. We've got to be quick. Lions have given up six games of at least 19.9 fantasy points to a tight end or wide receiver so far this year. Michael Wilson takes them on this week. We obviously think the Trimic bride is going to be an every week starter. Michael Wilson fits the bill. Did you know that he has 30 targets over the last two weeks, most in the NFL, fourth in the NFL in targets, everything that you have seen from the lion's secondary. I don't need to harp on and I don't want to. Michael Wilson is an easy top 10 play this week. Zay flowers is a better play than Michael Wilson, even with Lamar Jackson, unlike would be available because who's a way better player? Zay flowers are Michael Wilson. It's a flowers to me. It's pretty apparent. Zay flowers is seventh in the NFL and run after catch per reception. You put the football and Zay flowers hands. Good things are going to happen. You have your backup quarterback. You're facing all of a sudden. Pretty darn good defense. Yeah. What's the strategy here? Get the ball out quick. Let Zay flowers do the heavy lifting for you. He's fourth in the NFL and receiving yards, by the way. The guys played her. He played 45% of the snaps in one game. He missed the second half of another game. He's absolutely electric here. Don't overthink it. Don't allow this trendy 30 targets over the past two week. Michael Wilson blind you from the light. That is the most handsome fantasy analyst with the best thoughts in all of ESPN and the Zay flowers loving my clay. I love that we went from quarterback from Bonyx and Sam Donald to Kyle Menungay and Will Shipley. We're arguing about two guys like eight and 10 in Michael Wilson and Zay flowers. Look, I have Wilson ranked higher. So the way I'm attacking this is not like who obviously I know I have, who I have higher. Right. I'm just going to pick that person. Whoever gets me to move the needle a little bit closer. So this one, I'm going to have to go with field. Oh, we need to go. Thank you. Well done. Way to go. All right. I have to give you your flowers. Thank you. I'll take my sticks. And I'll give you your money. No, thank you. Thank you. I appreciate. It's fun ranking. See you guys really good. And the show. We have a lot of fun being able to do this. And we want to hear what you guys have to say in chat as we go through it. These are going to be our favorite team logos. Each one of us brought three to the table. Mike, we're going to start with you. You're going to do all three sports logos. Okay. We'll do my countdown. Quick honorable bench. We're starting right there. All right. There we go. My number one's on the board. Never mind. Yeah. I'm going Mark Martin's Valveline scheme or the Valveline scheme in NASCAR in general is always a home run for me. I grew up Mark Martin's always been my guy. My favorite athlete. He is the best. And before you say drivers aren't athletes. This guy literally has books about his workout. Go to his face and tell him he's not an athlete. That guy is still absolutely jack. He's also that Mike was actually conceived at an NASCAR race. He hasn't told a lot of people, but I'm wearing my Mark Martin shirt today as well because I love it. Uh, kids, city chiefs are second Dallas Texans as well. They're the old name of their franchise. It's always been attracted to those colors for some reason. He's always has hit home and also my daughter's name. Casey Clay. Casey. So she wears the Casey merchandise. Oh, look at the way Mike's middle name was Daytona. It all makes more sense. That's correct. Yes. Uh, in the Colorado avalanche, I was a big avalanche fan growing up because I just loved when they moved from Quebec. I loved the logo. So love that honorable mention to 98 to 20, uh, 2008, New York Jets, uh, always loved the logo. Like the white helmets. The Shad Pennington era. Yeah. White helmets. I always love that one. Pennington's check. What do you think the days of Thunder Crew got the term rubbins racing? No idea. James from my experience, obviously, that is inappropriate. Wow. Why don't you go ahead? I'll go next here. I'll go next here, guys. You actually have to leave the show. Sorry about that. My number one. Guys, the Anaheim mighty ducks. You remember being a kid and this movie came out and it was so cool. You've got that old school hockey mask like the Jason mask and it looks like a duck with it. Like it was unbelievable. Just a super cool logo, very nostalgic for my youth. Also, the Seattle supersonic took all three of my picks for the record. Are you serious? Oh, I love the Seattle supersonic logo. It's sort of feel. I guess we have great taste together. We can be nice to each other now that we're not going to get together. And then the Hartford Wailers. No, awesome. This is an unbelievable logo, unbelievable logo, the H with the W, you see the negative space with the hit. Like it's an unbelievable thing and the fact that there's, you know, no like aggressiveness within the Hartford Wailers logo. It's just a very cool family friendly logo. Awesome. They don't use these logos anymore. I don't know. You're three logos exist anymore. I know. No one said anything about them. They're amazing. Did they? No, they didn't. I'm just saying there's a reason they don't exist anymore. Sort of interesting that Mike's third logo was the Colorado avalanche. I don't know how many people know this, but Colorado used to have a hockey team before the avalanche. It was the Colorado Rockies, not the baseball team. Are you serious? Seriously. This is one of your logo. This is the 76 to 1982. This is the Colorado emblem right in the middle there. My wife's family. Oh, okay. Good. There's a backstory. I still love the logo. It's awesome. In laws living Colorado, my wife grew up partially in Colorado. We have lots of Colorado ties. That right there is really cool. Of course, emblematic of the Rockies and the hockey team, not the baseball team. The baseball team's logo is okay. Pat Patriot. Throwback to my, my youth here. Oh. Patriot head. This is a good one here, but Patriot's red uniforms are top five in the NFL when they drop their throwbacks. I always feel like no matter who they're playing, they're going to win that game. This guy, Pat Patriot is ferocious. He's hiking a football. He is jock. He looks like Mike Clay and Mike and Mark Martin all the way around. Awesome. And then finally, last but not least, the UMBC. Oh. The first ever 16 team to win a game in the men's NCAA basketball tournament. Okay. Great lacrosse program as well. I am. I have a golden retriever. He's the best. His name is Cisco and I love him.
and UMBC stands for UMBC. - Wow, love that. - Thank you. - Yeah. - It's actually University of Maryland. I believe it's Baltimore County is the actual UMBC. - Okay, gotcha. I love that. Chad says that I get the dub on this one. 50% of Chad likes my logos. - I didn't even finish reading mine and you're like, "Yeah, Chad says I win." - I know, that's not me. That's just a producer Addison. Sorry, guys. Shout out to our guy, Addison, who made it through his first show today. Probably buddy. - You. - Very excited to be here. Cannot wait to come back tomorrow. You know what, we're gonna dive into our week five previews over Thursday and Friday. We will preview Thursday night football and all of the week. I know, I can't believe we're here already. - Man, I don't know where the time goes. - I will sign up for a few Jets concert. Tell me where I go. - Put that on the wheel. - Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself, you guys. You deserve it. Come back and hang out with us tomorrow. We'll see you then. - Peace. The Eagles’ offensive and defensive struggles, including poor efficiency, injuries to key players like Lane Johnson, and poor run blocking, raise concerns about their season viability.
Drake May is a strong quarterback option this week due to favorable matchups and strong recent performance, though his upside is limited by a tough Seattle defense and injury risks.
Brock Purdy’s performance against Seattle is risky due to the team’s elite pass defense, yet his history of success against the Seahawks justifies a low-end start in the QB rankings.

Wide receiver rankings highlight strong performances from CD Lam and George Pickens, with Pickens' matchup against the Buccaneers offering a high-probability breakout opportunity.

FAQs
If Lamar Jackson is out, Tyler Huntley will start, which reduces quarterback scoring potential. Zay Flowers, who thrives with Lamar on the field, is expected to see a drop in fantasy value, though he remains a valuable option.
The Eagles face significant issues due to injuries to key players like Lane Johnson and ongoing offensive line problems. Their offensive efficiency is weak, ranking 27th offensively and 31st overall in the NFL, with poor run blocking and defensive struggles.
Drake May has shown strong performance and is now ranked in the top 10 due to a favorable matchup against the Raiders, who allow a lot of fantasy points to quarterbacks. However, he's not a top-5 pick due to the difficulty of the matchup and potential injuries to other weapons.
Brock Purdy is projected to have a tough matchup against the Seahawks, who have one of the best defenses against quarterbacks. While Purdy has been effective, the risk is high, and he is ranked more as a low-end QB 8–10 rather than a top-tier option.
Aaron Jones has seen a surge in touches and targets, especially with Jordan Mason out. He has 37 carries and over 14 targets in the last two weeks, making him a top-12 running back with high potential in fantasy value.
Despite inconsistent box score stats, DeAndre Swift remains a top-10 running back due to high target volume and goal-line touches. He has two touchdowns in the season and is expected to have a strong bounce-back opportunity against a weaker defense.
