The transcript blends personal finance advice with fantasy football analysis. It introduces We Share Health as a cost-effective, nonprofit health insurance alternative accessible to those without employer coverage, and Stitch Fix as a streamlined, personalized clothing service. The fantasy football segment provides in-depth rankings and strategic insights for running backs, wide receivers, and quarterbacks, emphasizing injury risks, matchup advantages, and player performance trends. Key discussions include Jalen Warren’s strong performance against the Colts, Chase Brown’s potential breakout, and the volatility of Washington and Bengals backfields. Wide receiver depth is highlighted by the risk of injuries to Chase and Higgins, with Dante Myers and Khalil Shakir as viable flex options. Quarterback evaluations stress the dependency on receiver health, with Jaden Daniels emerging as a top-6 must-start due to favorable matchups and recent recovery, while others like Jacoby Brissett and Sam Darnold are viewed as high-risk due to offensive line struggles and inconsistent volume. Throughout, the hosts provide actionable recommendations, balancing caution with upside, and underscore the importance of monitoring injury updates and situational matchups. The segment concludes with a reminder to consider practical lifestyle products like protein supplements and meal kits for those managing busy schedules, reinforcing a holistic approach to personal wellness.
All right. Before we get back to football, I want to tell you about something I learned recently
and something that's worth passing along. It's called We Share Health, and it's an alternative
to traditional health insurance. If you don't get health insurance through work and you're stuck
paying boatloads for your own health insurance, you should know that health insurance isn't your
only option. More than 1.7 million Americans have chosen an alternative called healthcare sharing.

pay up to 60% less than they would for traditional health insurance. You still get access to a
nationwide PPO network with over a million physicians plus unlimited telehealth. So if
you're between jobs or self-employed, this could save you thousands of dollars a year.
And with over a million physicians in the network, there's a good chance your current
doctors are already in it. If this sounds interesting to you, take a few minutes

It's week five. It's time to get those rankings right. Get them to get those lineups right. Time
to get a win if you're maybe 0-4, but you need to win anyway because you want to keep
that momentum going for your fantasy league. Welcome to fantasy football today.
I'm Jamie Isenberg. That's Dave Richard. That's Heath Cummings. Got a fun show for you. We're
going to take a look at all of our rankings. Running back, wide receiver, quarterback,
tight end. Answer some of your questions. Send them to us on social media using hashtag
askFFT. Let's start with the running backs. Got a little bit of news. Mike McCarthy saying that
Rico Dowdle may not return this week, continuing to work back from that toe injury. That's great
news for Jalen Warren, who you'll see in our consensus top 12 rankings for this week as the
Steelers have what should be a favorable game for him as they take on the Indianapolis Colts. So
Our consensus rankings, you can see them on CBSSports.com.
You can break them down by our individual rankings if you want.
And there's Jalen Warren coming in at number nine.
Let's talk about Javante Williams because we have a game tonight
between the Cowboys and the Bucs.
Javante, tough matchup last week, Heath,
and he came through dominant against the Houston Texans.
He got another dominant game against that Tampa Bay defense.
I think it would be close to dominant, yes.
It should be a situation where the Cowboys don't get forced to throw a lot of –
I mean, they always throw a lot of passes, but not an abnormal number of passes.
I don't know that I'd expect a huge yardage number
or a great efficiency game from Javante Williams,
but he's going to catch a couple of passes.
He's probably going to score at least one touchdown.
He's a top-12 running back.
Yeah, you see some of the names on the list, Dave.
Aaron Jones has just been really good.
Jalen Warren, again, continues to dominate with the featured work.
Is this going to be a big week for Chase Brown?
I think it should be.
I mean, it's the Dolphins' defense, and they haven't looked great.
And this is also a Cincinnati offense.
We don't expect them to have Jamar Chase.
We'll see about T. Higgins.
So they're running out of guys to throw the ball to.
And one of the guys,
who they threw the ball to a lot last week, was Chase Brown.
So they can do that,
and he should obviously have much better rushing efficiency.
I think he can find the end zone as well, like Chase Brown, a lot.
Yeah, hopefully it's that breakout game
that you've been waiting for for Chase Brown.
Let's take a look at the running back rankings, 13 through 24.
And as you always hear me say,
this is where some of the questions come in,
because we know you're starting the guys 1 through 12
without really any hesitation.
The guy at 13, though, we have DeAndre Swift
dealing with a variety of injuries
and some fumble issues, as we saw last week.
We also have Kyle Monongai, who is expected to play,
did have a thumb injury, did not practice on Wednesday,
but Ben Johnson said that was more because of the workload that he had.
So, Dave, how are you approaching the Bears' backfield,
assuming both of these guys play?
And it's now been two of four games
where Kyle Monongai has had strong performances.
I'm definitely starting DeAndre Swift.
I view him still as the lead back in Chicago.
There were two games last year where he lost a fumble.
The very next week he came back,
had at least 16 touches in each of those games.
But I kind of like Monongai, too,
and some of it has to do with the matchup
against Green Bay.
You saw what the Falcons did to them last week.
Now this week it's Chicago,
and I think they're going to be able to run the ball.
They did a great job running it against the Jets.
I think they just keep it moving.
They've got the offensive line to do it.
So Swift is like a must-start.
And Monongai is like a borderline number two,
number three fantasy running back.
Do you have any fear with Swift?
I'm with Dave, and I'm sure you probably are
because that's the way we have it ranked.
But if there's another fumble
or there's another something for DeAndre Swift
that we see the roles switched?
Yeah, we don't generally worry about a running back
like could he fumble in this game and lose touches?
But there's two guys this week
that I kind of have that fear for.
Ramondre Stevenson and DeAndre Swift.
And Stevenson, for me, the concern's a little bit bigger
for other reasons, which we're going to talk about
in just a moment, I think.
But yeah, I think the problem is
if DeAndre Swift doesn't fumble,
he might be a top five running back this week.
So that's kind of where I'm ranking him is.
I've got him at 13, right where the consensus rankings do.
That's not necessarily. Right where we all have him.
Right.
It's not necessarily. It's not necessarily like,
yeah, I feel really confident about him finishing there.
It's that he could be a top five running back
and, oh no, he could get benched for fumbling.
Yeah, I mean, look, this is a backfield.
They both could be great.
And given two teams on a bye,
we haven't really touched on that a lot here at least.
Kansas City and Carolina are not there,
so you don't have Kenneth Walker,
you don't have Chuba Hubber,
two guys who are must-start running backs.
That's why they're not in the rankings.
You might have to start Kalmanonga.
So hopefully he's healthy and, again,
dealing with thumb injury and just general soreness
after all the work that he had in dominating week four.
Let's take a look at the consensus rankings 25 through 36,
and we have some of the backfields that have some issues.
One in particular is Washington.
And so we don't know yet what Rashad White's status is going to be.
So he's dealing with a shoulder injury.
He's going to. He did practice off to the side,
so trying to come back for week five
after missing week four against the Colts in London.
Ja'Cory Kroski-Merritt has one good game,
three disappointing games.
They signed Austin Eckler prior to the London game against the Colts,
and he looked. He looked okay,
but we know he's over 30 and coming back from a significant injury.
Heath, how are you approaching the Washington backfield
if you have to start one of them or rely on one of them,
probably more as a flex?
If I have to start one, it's still Ja'Cory Kroski-Merritt,
but I do kind of feel like this could be the last week that we say that.
He just has not been as good of a rusher of the football as he was last year.
He's been much better in the passing game.
And I thought actually last week he looked better in pass protection
than maybe he ever has in the NFL.
But I thought. And listen, Austin Eckler,
I don't think they can count on Austin Eckler to handle 20 touches a game
or 15 touches a game even,
but I thought he looked better than any commander's running back
has looked so far this season.
And that's a bad sign for a guy like Ja'Cory Kroski-Merritt
when Austin Eckler comes off of the injury pile at his age
and just looks that much better.
And then we saw Kroski-Merritt have a season low,
11 touches last week,
and his second best PPR point game of the season,
and it was seven points.
So we talked about it.
We talked about it earlier in the week.
We wouldn't be surprised if Kroski-Merritt actually gets benched at some point.
I don't really want to start any commanders running back if I don't have to.
I agree with Heath.
It would be Kroski-Merritt if I had to start one,
unless Rashad White plays.
That's who they like on passing downs.
That's who I want to start.
Well, that's who they liked.
They still may like.
I think they still do because Eckler didn't play a single third down last week.
They brought him back and they had him working with Kroski-Merritt,
and Kroski-Merritt was playing.
The only thing that I'll say is, I mean, look,
he just signed a few days before, and then they go to London.
So that's hard to say that he's going to be fully acclimated to everything.
And then everything went kaput because you go from Marcus Mariota
to a third-string quarterback.
Now Jaden Daniels is back, so hopefully everything is back on schedule.
So this is kind of, I think, a game that you want to see how it all works out,
especially if White is healthy.
If White's not there, then I think maybe Eckler has some flex appeal in PPR
because he did, to your point, Heath,
he looked the best of any commanders running back maybe.
Rashad White had a couple good moments,
but definitely Eckler looked good for coming off the street.
Last list of rankings that we'll show for running backs 37 through 48.
I want to bring this up specifically for a guy that,
maybe getting a little bit overlooked,
and that's Brian Robinson Jr. coming in at 38th overall.
He's got three straight games with 8.7 PPR points or more.
He's got four touchdowns in his last two games,
scored three touchdowns in that Monday night win against the Saints.
Is it time to look at him maybe as we talk about Menangai in tandem,
Blake Horham in tandem,
these other backup running backs that have been productive at times,
more so with the Bears than anybody else?
Is Brian Robinson Jr. now worth flexing given what he's looked like
and how the Falcons have run the ball?
He's scored 70 points in the last two games.
They've been awesome running the football,
and yet I'm still not excited to start Brian Robinson Jr.
He almost feels like the Jake Ferguson of running backs.
Is he going to score a touchdown?
And if he does score a touchdown,
I think he'll be okay with what he gives you as far as fantasy goes.
And if he doesn't score a touchdown,
I don't know if he's going to help you out that much.
So I don't see him as anything more than, at best,
a low-end number three type of fantasy running back,
and I don't think that's crazy to say.
He's the backup behind B. John Robinson.
He's already passed Blake Horham for me.
Yeah.
I've got four running backs in my practice.
I've got five projections, all between eight and nine points.
And it's Woody Marks, Travion Henderson, Brian Robinson, and Blake Horham.
Oh, he's not last in that.
group no and i think amongst that group he's the most likely to score a touchdown well let me let
me put it in perspective for our audience here we got overexcited understandably so because of an
injury for ollie gordon ollie gordon had a great game last week he had nine touches brian robinson
jr had a better game last week and has gotten 10 or more touches in three straight games i know he's
the backup he's on a better team he's probably going to get as many touches maybe more now that's
you're starting him over ollie no i'm not he's definitely better at non-ppr also we're talking
people right now yeah he's much better in non-p but but again comparing him to gordon two targets
no catches this is not going to be a team that throws to his running backs i'm just trying to
put in perspective how good brian robinson is and we get you know sort of because starter versus
backup sometimes the backup could be better i think if brian robinson has another good game
we may be talking about him similar to kyle mononga as a borderline
number two runner
running back let's talk about some starts and sits here so uh we're going to have a good
romandre stevenson conversation but he if i give you first raylon allen tell everybody just how
good he can be this week yeah i think people look at what he did in the first game without
breeze hall anything oh that wasn't very good what do you have 15 touches 60 yards whatever
they ran 33 offensive plays he is the only running back who has touched the football
since breeze hall got hurt they were averaging 65 offensive plays per game before last week so
i think you can expect nearly twice as many plays he probably
won't have twice as many touches that would be 30 but i do think he'll probably have 20 touches in
this game i think the jets have a little more offensive success he's a top 18 running back
for me yeah it's going to be uh fun to see if they actually can give him the work that he needs i'll
just go quickly on on emmanuel wilson awesome last week i think he's got a chance to be awesome
once again uh the 49ers every game so far this season 12.3 ppr points or more wilson's track
record is great 10 games in his career with double digits and carries seven of those 11.7
ppr points or more so the floor should hopefully be safe and i think you're looking at again
similar to braylon allen a guy getting all the touches on an offense that has performed well
when they've given that chance to a one particular running back you go back to last season for
example with kenneth walker in the playoff so emmanuel wilson to me has top 15 upside all right
let's get to our remandre stevenson debate here now first i'll put it in in a little bit of context
we don't know if he's guaranteed to play he did have a limited practice session on wednesday that
was actually after mike ravel met with the media and said that he wasn't going to practice so it
was good to see remandre out there so the injury situation clearly something to monitor but dave
you like remandre if he plays he if you do not
i think the raiders run defense is okay i don't think it's great and obviously kenneth walker
trounced them last week but omar and hampton had his best game of the year against them
even travis hn had 70 yards against them and we know that remandre stevenson is back in that role
as being the primary running back for the team he's going to play a lot of the passing downs
he's going to work at the goal line he had over 18 ppr points last week too let's not forget that
he was having a good game and i think he can be about that good again as long as he's out there
and he's not seeing his workload limited because of the knee injury if he practices
all week long i'm good with remandre stevenson i mean he's he's like brian robinson that gets
a few targets a week for me just because like travion henderson has more carries in every game
they've played together one of those it was because stevenson got benched and then it's
just been a little bit more for henderson in the russian game and that's because remandre
stevenson's been awful as a rusher so far this season 51 yards is his high that was the one game
that henderson didn't play he's been 3.6 yards per carry or worse every week but one so you really
need something in the passing game the fact that he's not 100 healthy if he gets a full practice
in friday i'll move him up a couple of spots but if he's not 100 healthy he's not projected to lead
the team in rush attempts i don't want to start him if i have to flex him i will all right so
we'll see remandre's health and that could determine the rankings obviously travion henderson
has amazing upside as we saw last year averaged over 24 ppr points per game in the three games
that remandre missed dave you're uh sitting david montgomery this week i'm not sure he's the best
workload split between him and woody marks get a little bit closer throughout the season three of
four games it's been within seven snaps of each other and we know that woody marks last two weeks
he said carries inside the 10 and he scored on them those are supposed to go to david montgomery
and you look at the matchup against tennessee titans are the most run-on team in the nfl
they're giving up 3.6 yards per rush not a lot of explosive runs on top of it i'm worried about
david montgomery as a touchdown or bus type of fantasy running back you could almost make the
case that brian robinson jr is a better start than david montgomery at this point yeah chasing
touchdowns chase the guy that just scored three in his last game uh for me i'm gonna sit ollie
gordon again it was great to see what he did last week against minnesota not an easy run defense had
the long run scored the touchdown now you're talking about a cincinnati run defense they've
only given up two touchdowns to running back so far this season i think there's gonna be
another game where they're chasing points i don't care who's playing wide receiver for
cincinnati that offense is gonna score against the dolphins so ollie gordon at best is a flex
and so hopefully we get another strong game from him but really shocking that so far he's the best
dolphins running back better than him i think it's going to be a lot of fun and i think it's going to be
better than devon h and just in a uh per game basis all right if they're going with a hot hand
it makes sense based on last week because he was clear oh for sure and listen jeff halfley said
that they're going to get jalen wright some more work but it's ollie gordon right now if you're
talking about a dolphins running back um i only want to get to one sleeper dave you got rj harvey's
a sleeper i have keaton mitchell but i want to save time for the rest of the show but you have
a guy that's really topical right now that's why we haven't talked about him yet and that's will
shipley so what are your expectations so first off he's a sleeper not a start not my top 24 running
backs but i do think the only way that running backs have really had success against this jacksonville
defense through the year they've given up the second most receptions to running backs this
season jalen hurts not going to have davante smith at this point we don't think he's going to have
dallas goddard that could change i'm hoping that we get a few more targets to the running backs i
don't think they'll have success running the ball you got to create some of those opportunities
through the past so i he is a high-end flex option for me this week i would guess he has
50 to 60 percent of the rush attempts and most of the work in the passing game i i just want
to see him have a good enough game that if barkley's
out again next week that they get carolina a much easier opponent than jacksonville and maybe they
get the offensive line straightened out because as we know no lane johnson no cam jurgens no longer
on the roster are we gonna take a break we come back and talk about some wide receivers and give
you the rankings some starts some sits and some players you might want to avoid that's next on fft

welcome back to fantasy football today we're talking about wide receivers and if you find
one that's healthy please send them our way because we are dealing with too many injuries
at this spot so right now this is what we're monitoring this week we got malik neighbors
missing practice on thursday dealing with knee soreness hopefully he'll be out there we're
waiting to find out updates on jamar chase and t higgins we're going to find out an update on
justin jefferson i don't know what to do uh the commanders are looking for the commanders are
looking for help yeah this week if he plays so let's show you the rankings you may see jerry rice
terrell owens who knows randy moss we just need you know players that have actually caught passes
in the nfl but this is the list one through twelve of the wide receivers that we're talking about and
we have two guys on this list one in particular in zay flowers heath you're the zay flowers guy
we've got a different quarterback expected to start this week for the ravens without lamar
jackson how is flowers going to do with tyler huntley it's a much worse environment i am
the zay flowers guy i think i'm also the low guy on zay flowers this week tyler huntley is every
game average about 156 passing yards per game when he starts last year zay flowers played two games
with them scored 12 to 13 points in both i think that's what you should expect 12 or 13 fantasy
points he's a start but he's don't expect what you've gotten from zay flowers so far no faith
at all in declan doyle trying to scheme something up for him in that short area and having him break
away for a big game because i think that's pretty much the only way he's going to get it done
you're going to have to hope that yes he breaks off a 30-yard yak to score a touchdown yeah well
he's done that it's possible yeah you know that it's possible but i
i think it is a tall order 14 times tyler huntley started a game only four of those times as a
receiver had at least 14 ppr points as you said the different offense so we'll see
see if you know the scheme is different it's been great for Zay Flowers so far let's take a look at
the rankings 13 through 24 and this is where you see Malik Nabors come into play so Dave I know
you're going to talk about Jameis Winston a little bit is Malik Nabors still a must-start wide excuse
me is Jameis still a must-start quarterback if Malik's not out there and what do the Giants do
from a passing game perspective to replace Nabors if he doesn't play run away from Jameis Winston
if Malik Nabors doesn't play he needs Malik Nabors out there and we saw it last week and this is a
similar type of matchup for Jameis Winston where he's not going to have a lot of pressure from the
commanders and that secondary for Washington isn't very good so there's going to be opportunities
for Malik Nabors he's just got to get out there and practice first that's what will make us feel
better about starting him if he does not play then you're looking at Isaiah Likely seeing a huge
target share and he's already seeing a huge target share from Jameis Winston Darnell Mooney would be
in play Malachi Fields would be in play but those guys are like borderline number three receivers
I wouldn't feel great about them and I would not start Jameis Winston if there's no Malik Nabors
we're going to talk about a lot of guys in this list with the starts and sits in a minute but
Heath George Pickens it's been a rough start for him so far is this a get right game tonight against
Tampa Bay it should be if I think people there may be some people who drafted George Pickens who are
getting a little frustrated with us just ranking him as the top 15 wide receiver every week and
acting like there's no concern if he's not good tonight against Tampa Bay there will be concern
it's a Joe Boo week it is a Joe Boo week yep hopefully it comes through I mean again you're
not benching George Pickens but you do need to see him have a standout game and it could
definitely happen against this Bucs defense all right let's show you the list 25 through 30 minutes
36 and now we're getting into what the probably biggest story of the week is the replacement wide
receivers in case guys are out so in the event that there is no Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins in
the event that there is no DJ Moore in the event in the event in the event uh not expected to play
for the Eagles as well but let's talk about the Bill situation and the Bengals situation so uh
Heath hates the Bill situation something the other day so give me the Bengals situation uh Heath if
Tee Higgins or one of the other yeah you see Myers here at wide receiver 31 that's with us
guessing that Tee Higgins is going to play Jamar Chase is not going to play if neither one of them
play then I think Dante Myers probably moves into the top 24 wide receivers or at least very very
close to it if Chase gets through the concussion protocol which is possible and he and Tee Higgins
both play then Myers may just go back to the waiver where he would definitely go back to the waiver
if those guys are out there nobody would want to trust Myers but the Bengals love this guy came
he was an obviously an undrafted wide receiver and he's got some speed and quickness that shows up on
film it's actually quite impressive and so if one of those receivers is out look for Dante Myers to
have at least six targets if DJ Moore is out where we make up Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir I know
that everybody's excited about Keon Coleman and I liked what I saw from Keon Coleman last week too
but if he's going to be lined up against Trent McDuffie in this matchup against the Rams I don't
want anything to do with Keon Coleman that's a tough matchup for him and Khalil Shakir was the
Buffalo he'll work inside a little bit more I know the Rams are playing more man coverage these days
I think that's something that can benefit Shakir he'll get volume I just don't know what he'll do
with it in terms of the big yardage game had over 100 yards against the Rams back in 24. I don't
know if he's going to do that but I think he can be at least a serviceable Flex Keon Coleman would
be ahead of him if DJ Moore plays because DJ Moore would draw Trent McDuffie in coverage and that
would open up Keon Coleman to get some decent work against a favorable matchup especially if it's a
really small Keon Coleman could body him all right so you'll uh you'll see when we talk about this a
little bit later this is one of Dave's sleepers for the week is Khalil Shakir uh just one last
list we want to talk about here another replacement situation 37 through 48 we have a couple of the
Eagles wide receivers on the list here you saw uh Dontavian Wicks at number 36 you also got Darius
Cooper here at number 48 so Heath Devonte Smith we don't expect to play the Jaguars if there is a
weakness in their defense it is their secondary and so can one of these two guys and maybe even
Mckay Lemon have success in this at this point
and as you alluded to earlier we're assuming that there is no no Dallas Goddard for this week yes if
you could tell me that I could just start Eagles wide receiver and I get the best Eagles wide
receiver that'd probably be a top 24 guy I think one of those guys will have success the way last
week went makes it very difficult to guess which one I still favor Dontavian Wicks as a boom bust
number three wide receiver I think Lemon and Cooper are more what the heck flexes but it it's
just guessing which one I think one of them will be good yep and last week Cooper seven targets
two touchdowns he does have three touchdowns in his last three games but Dontavian Wicks got off to a
great start with over 12 PPR points in each of his first two games all right let's talk about some
start sits and guys that might have you help you as sleepers uh Dave you like Stefan Diggs another
injury situation that we're keeping an eye on here so Terry mccorn missed last week hamstring injury
didn't practice on Wednesday Diggs also missed practice on Wednesday with a hamstring he's got
to practice by Friday before we even consider him but if Jayden Daniels is back I like Stefan Diggs
and there's no if he's back the the commanders have already said he said we are good to go let's
get out there we saw in week one how good Stefan Diggs could be with Jayden Daniels and then in
week two the majority of his PPR fantasy points came with Jayden Daniels on the field so it's
really just a matter of are you there are you taking on this Giants defense they're not very
good they can't get pressure on the quarterback Stefan Diggs would have a pretty good game I like
him as a number two receiver but everything's got to be right here Daniels has to play and feel
comfortable we don't know if he'll feel comfortable but he'll play and Stefan Diggs has to be out there
and he's got to be on his regular snap share Heath you have one of the more underrated players as a
league we've given enough credit to carnal Tate and what he's done the last two weeks yeah he is
fourth amongst all wide receivers in Target share this season and just coming off of a game where he
scored 29.5 PPR fantasy points I think he's a must start number two wide receiver who may be a must
start number one wide receiver in the second half of the season this guy is awesome he was the best
wide receiver in this draft class he's having success it makes me still a little bit uncomfortable
this Texans defense and the fact that
Miko Ryans is taking over as a play caller just because like it's laughable that they've been the
worst team in the NFL against wide receivers we thought they might be the best and so that part
I think adds a little bit of risk but I'm just going to overlook it and start the rookie who's
been awesome and probably chasing points and hopefully a situation where he gets uh quality
targets from cam where that hasn't always been the case I'm going to take a little hanging through
here and go Jamison Williams I think is going to be another big game for him last week we finally
had Cardinals is two receivers each of the last two games this bodes well for both Williams and
obviously I'm on wrestling Brown over 12.4 PPR points in the same game so this defense has been
bad six receivers have hit that number so far this season I think Jamison Williams has top 15 upside
if not 10 top 10 upside if he scores a touchdown let's talk about some wide receivers that we want
to sit for this week Dave you're sitting Josh Downs I love Josh Downs but I've got to do it
because I don't trust his quarterback and I don't like the fact that he only had four targets last
week he hasn't been over 15 PPR points so what are we doing with Josh Downs we just have to wait
until the Colts offense figures themselves out a little bit more and he sees that Target volume
on a week-to-week basis and the targets are catchable that's part of the issue here too
he's a great wide receiver but Daniel Jones just isn't it right now the counter to that would be
the two games prior to that Josh Downs looked really good it was like a borderline number two
receiver the production yeah I mean he's got 20 targets in those two games so I think that's the
volume that you're hoping for the other part would be is last
week playing with the lead this week they could be chasing points so we could see a little bit more
opportunities which would be the hope so as you see Heath and I are a little bit different in
terms of how we feel about Josh Downs Heath you're sitting Courtland Sutton despite the opportunity
maybe with better play caller as we found out before the show Sean Payton is going to take
over play calling duties and no Pat Bryant for the Broncos yeah the problem hasn't been that
they aren't throwing it to him he's had 13 targets in the last two games he has four catches for 50
yards I I'm not sure Courtland Sutton's really any good anymore and the Pat Bryant situation
may give him a few more
opportunities or it may just go to somebody else with Sean Payton I think it may just be let's throw
it to Jalen waddle 12 times I don't want to start Courtland Sutton in the three wide receiver league
yeah I don't blame you see I don't even have him ranked in the top 40 yet I think it's going to be
a little well I mean again what are we what are we chasing here from him we're chasing a guy that
just hasn't been very productive so hopefully he scores hopefully he comes through um but not
somebody that I'm very confident in even with Pat Bryant not being there I'm also not confident in
Emeka Abuka as we've seen it's been a rough start to him for the season and last week first start
three two catches for 13 yards it was terrible four targets he's been 11.3 PPR points or less in
every game so far this season this has nothing to do with the matchup it's all about the Bucks
and their problems right now so I'd love to see Abuka come out and have a big game I just can't
count on it so as you see a number four receiver basically for all of us outside of the top 36. Dave
gave you his sleeper as Khalil Shakir Heath your sleeper for this week is the same guy just watched
repeat Malik Washington you know the nice thing is I put him as a sleeper he scores 11 fantasy points
the next week he's 20 rostered I put him as a sleeper he scores 11 fantasy points the next week
he's 20 rostered this was my favorite player on the way or wide receiver on the waiver wire this
week I would start him over all the guys that we added the Bills the Bengals all of those guys even
Myers if the Bengals guys are out if both Higgins and Chase are out then I'll start Myers what are
you gonna have as your sleeper next week because dolphins are on by oh that's disappointing I don't
know it's probably probably should be Wandale Robinson just to stick with the theme there you
go uh for me I'm gonna go Roman Wilson
the report Mike McCarthy saying that Michael Pittman may miss several weeks it really has
nothing to do with Pittman because what we've seen from Wilson every game six targets the last two
games he scored touchdowns so he's building a rapport with Aaron Rodgers it would be great to
see the targets increase a little bit but I think Wilson just one of these very safe number three
wide receivers that can hopefully pop a little bit when he does score touchdowns so make sure Roman
Wilson not on your waiver wire and he could be a weekly number three wide receiver all right we're
gonna take a break we come back and talk about some quarterbacks Dave told you he likes Jameis
Winston we're going to talk about Jacoby Brissett is he a good start is he a bad
start that's next here on fantasy football today we recently took a trip to Kansas City
catch a football game. And we made a full weekend out of it. We spent some time exploring the city,
made sure to get some classic Kansas City barbecue, and of course, headed to Arrowhead Stadium to take
in the game. Between tailgating, the crowd, and the energy inside the stadium, it was an awesome
experience. There's just something about a game weekend. Great food, great football, and getting
to experience it all together made it a trip to remember. But while I was surrounded by fans
taking in the atmosphere like I was, what hit me was just how many people were making a weekend out
of it in Kansas City like I was, needing a place to hang their head after a night of tailgating
and celebrating. For the local Kansas City folks or anyone who lives in a stadium city,
football season is a perfect time to consider listing your space on Airbnb. Especially if you
have travel plans yourself, why let your home sit idle while you're away? You can help meet
the demand when a big game or concert comes to your town and give travelers that home away from
home they need to really experience their trip to the fullest. It is such a practical
way to earn extra money that can go right toward funding the next road trip or covering upcoming
household bills. Your home might be worth more than you think. Find out how much at airbnb.com

Welcome back to Fantasy Football Today. We're getting some good news in the quarterback
position because Jaden Daniels, who missed the last two games with the elbow injury, is going to play,
as we said earlier in the show, full go. So he will be out there. Hopefully he has his receiver. So we're
getting word from the commander's practice field. Still no Terry McLaurin. Stephon Diggs back at
practice, but may still be working off the side. So trending in the right direction, but still not
safe to say that Stephon Diggs is guaranteed to play. Let's show you the quarterback rank lists
one through 12. And just an interesting note of the 12 quarterbacks who were drafted to be number
one quarterbacks based on the CBS Sports average draft position. Only six so far are in the top 12
in terms of their performance. We've had some injuries.
Obviously with Caleb Williams and Jaden Daniels, Jackson Dart was not a top 12 quarterback,
but obviously we know we don't have him. And two quarterbacks who are playing at a top 12 level are
not available this week. And that is Bryce Young and Patrick Mahomes because they're on a buy. So
you take a look at this list. Heath, Jaden Daniels is back. Must start guy? He's very, very close to a
must start guy. I think with his rushing ability, with the current state of the quarterback position,
with the two guys we have on by, he's a top six quarterback for me. It's possible that you had
somebody else on your team with you. But I think he's a top six quarterback for me. It's possible
with Jaden Daniels, like a Matthew Stafford or a Jared Goff that you're starting over him this week,
but pretty close to a must start guy. How much does that matter though,
if he doesn't have his receiver? I mean, it matters a lot and I'm nervous about him,
even if he does. Well, I guess if he has McLaurin and Diggs, then I'd be a lot more excited because
this is a beatable matchup. This Giants team, they were supposed to have a great defense, a great
pass rush. They can't get to anybody. And so I think that if Jaden Daniels has his receivers in
full, yeah, I like him as a top six guy, but I don't know if we can expect that at this point.
And if he doesn't have Terry McLaurin,
I would expect the numbers to be a little bit worse. And if he doesn't have Diggs,
I would expect the numbers to be a lot worse. Borderline number one QB for me.
We haven't talked about this yet, but just tying in the commanders,
if there is no McLaurin and if there is no McLaurin and Diggs, how much do you like Antonio Williams?
I like him as a flex, maybe a number three receiver,
because I think the volume will find him in this game. It's going to be real interesting
how they operate. I know who they'll have out there. Will they really lean into Williams or
will they actually try and spread it out, get a little bit more work to Akonkwo at tight end,
wide receiver? These aren't guys I'd be excited about starting. Williams would be the only one,
but I worry about just how much passing, their pace, what it would be if they don't have their
top two guys. And the Williams did have eight targets against the Colts in the first game
without McLaurin. But again, the quarterback situation being what it was. I'll show you the
list 13 through 24, and you're going to see some quarterbacks that we actually like individually
better than the consensus. So when you look at this list, you'll see Dave likes Jameis Winston.
He doesn't even have him ranked. You'll see CJ Stroud. I like him as a top 12 quarterback. Heath
Sam Darnold. So let's talk about a few of these guys here. So Heath Darnold has been great. He's
going to have another great game in a tough matchup against San Francisco. Yeah, I think what
we've seen in the two games that he's been back, and he's been very good in those games, 8.1 yards
per attempt, six touchdowns in those two games. We saw one very surprisingly competitive game
against the Commanders where he had to throw the ball a lot, and he was awesome for fantasy. And
then we saw last week, well, I know if you look at the scoreboard, it was a seven point game.
The truth was that was not a competitive football game at all. They were way up. He only threw 22
passes. So he didn't have a great fantasy day. I think this will be a very competitive game against
the 49ers. We'll see Sam Darnold throw 30 plus passes. He'll be a top 12 quarterback, James.
Well, it comes down to Malik neighbors. Let's assume neighbors. Oh, then I'm in. And I'd
actually like to hear why Heath is out on James Winston. He does not pass the eyeball test. Okay.
It is ugly when it's out there, but it was ugly last week against Arizona. And he managed to
throw three touchdowns, two interceptions along the way, good yardage on top of that.
And he actually, believe it or not, had good timing and placement on his touchdown throws.
It's not every throw. He's going to have that, but if he's going to have time to throw and this
commander secondary, isn't very good, then I don't mind taking a chance on Jamis Winston when I'm
shooting for upside from the quarterback spot. And I, I screwed up the graphics department there in
our production staff. So I apologize, but CJ Stroud, uh, has been great when Nico Collins
has been on the field two games over 20 fantasy points. I think that continues against the Titans.
Not a, not a long history here, despite the fact that they're in the same division,
they've only met twice. Stroud's only played them twice, right? He's heard a lot since,
since 2023. Uh, but in those games, he's over 19 fantasy points in both of them. So I think
there's a good enough floor here and the Titans, I don't think they've seen a lot of volume from
opposing quarterbacks and they've gotten, you know, a little bit of luck here and there with
Lamar Jackson leaving the game last week, but two or four quarterbacks have been over 20 fantasy
points. I think CJ Stroud has another decent game enough to consider him a top 12 guy. All right.
So you're starting Sam Darnold. You're starting Jamis Winston. I'm going to start Matthew Stafford.
He's our start of the week. I think it's going to be another big game for him. As you see,
when we show you the individual rankings, we all have them as a top three quarterback for this week.
But this is one of those games where you should get a lot of high scoring between both these two
teams. It's the highest projected score of the week. Stafford is the best game so far this season
has come when he was at home against the giants in week two. And I think just the last two weeks,
over 50 past attempts, we probably get a third game over 50 past attempts. If the bills often
shows up as it does, and we get that back and forth between Matthew Stafford and Josh Allen.
All right. I want to know why you're sitting Jacoby Brissett Heath, because this is the perfect
setup for Jacoby Brissett, great offense on the other side, bad defense on the other side. And a
lot of volume expected for Jacoby this week. I think there probably will be a lot of volume.
I think it's been glossed over a little bit, just how bad Jacoby Brissett has been this year. And
it's a lot of short area stuff that he's throwing. This Detroit defense is bad because they're giving
up big plays and they're getting beat on the outside. They get beat by tight ends too. So
Trey McBride's going to have a great day. I have him very close to the top 12. It's not a must-sit
situation, but I would rather start Deshaun Watson. I would rather start Aaron Rodgers. Those are both
options available. And I think it's also possible that this is a game where the Lions just have the
ball almost the whole game. And we don't get 50 pass attempts, which is what he probably needs to
be good. I'm banking on the volume. That's why he's a top 12 quarterback for me. But what makes
me nervous, Jamie, is that the offensive line took a big hit with Paris Johnson Jr. being out
for the year. And the Lions, for as bad as they are on defense, they can rush the passer. And
if that's going to be a problem, then you're going to see a lot of those short throws, those
check down throws that Heath was talking about from Jacoby Brissett. So he better have volume and
he better find a way to get a couple of touchdowns because I don't think he's going to make a lot of
spectacular throws down the field. It's going to be a huge game for Trey McBride. Everybody's
starting him. But I'm a little bit worried about Jacoby Brissett. I'm worried about a lot of
quarterbacks this week, which is why I've got him top 10. I don't know how good I feel about it.
I just love the setup. I mean, this is why we bank on Jacoby Brissett because of what exactly is
happening here. Bad defense. You know, Brian Branch may return, so we'll see. But I just think as long as the
game's there, if they hold the ball forever, then he's going to be in trouble. But this could be
another 35 plus pass attempt game for him. So hopefully he doesn't get it. If he didn't have
the pick six last week, it would have been 18, 19 points. I think he finished with 17. So it would
have been, you would have felt maybe a little bit better about Brissett, not Heath. He's just banking
on the struggles that Brissett has shown you, which is totally understandable. Speaking of
struggles, here comes Jalen Hurts. And Jalen Hurts is down three of his starting offensive linemen,
down his number one receiver. We're not expecting Devonte Smith to play. We don't know about Dallas
Goddard. That would help him if Dallas Goddard's back, because that's at least a reliable guy that
he can throw to in the short area. And I think Jacksonville's defense is outstanding. They're
getting pressure on the quarterback. They're starting to play a lot better in the secondary,
and they've been great against the run. And so if this is a Philadelphia offense without Saquon
Barkley, you might say to yourself, well, this is going to be a game where Jalen Hurts is going to
run the ball a ton. I don't know if he'll have success doing it. And I don't know how effective
the tush push will be without that offensive line at full strength. So I don't really even want to
a bunch of quarterbacks, Deshaun Watson's one of them.
I can't believe those words.
are coming out of my mouth but deshaun watson over him certainly cj stroud sam darnold jacoby
brissett jamis winston all those guys well ahead of jalen hurts this week so it's not uh the best
thing to suggest sitting the uh the quarterback who leads the nfl in pass attempts and has been
awesome but i think that's kind of where i am with tyler shuck he's on the border of being a starter
i hope the volume will still be there but the vikings just saw the blueprint to how to stop
tyler shuck the falcons showed you by just beating the crap out of him which is what the falcons just
did he only was sacked twice but he injured his left hand you got to keep an eye on chris alave
right now he missed practice on wednesday for rest but he left the game late with the it looked
like a knee injury so hopefully he's going to be okay obviously if there's no alave you're not
trusting tyler shuck at all but the vikings have been awesome against opposing quarterbacks since
week one granted it's been caleb williams in the rain and i know you could say williams got hurt it
was late in the game it was baker mayfield they beat the crap out of him and he got hurt in that
game malik willis we know what that is but this is going to be i think he's got a lower expectations
hopefully the volume is still there for him but not exactly the safest of quarterbacks all right
that'll do it for our quarterback discussion we're going to take a break when we come back and talk
about some tight ends it's another week where there's a lot of good streaming options can you
start some of these guys ahead of the starters we'll talk about kenyan sadiq we'll talk about
maybe mike iseki maybe tj hawkinson that's next on fft
let's go back to august and rewind and say you know what you're going to want to draft
mike iseki and tj hawkinson over colston loveland and kyle pitts and you're going to be just fine
doing that and you probably think you're the craziest fantasy football show ever but
it might have worked out pretty well for you it might work out well for you in week number five
let's talk about some tight ends here on fantasy football today we'll show you the list one through
12 of our consensus rankings in lo and behold as our podcast buddy adam azar dare i say you got
two guys that weren't drafted that are playing very well at least what we've seen from gaseki
in three or four games and tj hawkinson just had 13 catches on 13 targets over 100 yards should
have had a touchdown last week against the team that we've seen in three or four games and tj
hawkinson just had 13 catches on 13 targets over 100 yards should have had a touchdown last week
against the dolphins and they maybe must start tight ends so dave when you look at this and you
see these guys on this list i cry it's obviously contingent well you might be starting them and
be excited that's part of the reason why i'm crying so for hawkinson it's obviously tied to
justin jefferson for gaseki it's tied to maybe both or at least one of the wide receivers in
cincinnati but give me the layout if there are no guys starting at the receiver spots that we expect
how good can hawkinson be how good can gaseki hawkinson could be phenomenal if the vikings don't
justin jefferson or jordan addison if they have one of those guys he can still be phenomenal
because what we saw from kyler murray last week was flashbacks to his end of days in arizona where
as soon as there's pressure he's throwing it short and tj hawkinson is his guy you might as well call
him trey hawkinson or tj mcbride whatever you want to call him because he was in that exact same role
and even had a deep target in that game and did well with it so kyler murray clearly developing
some rapport with him but he needs those at least one of those receivers to be off the field otherwise
he's just going to throw to those receivers and check down to those guys instead of tj hawkinson
gaseki is almost the exact same story one of those receivers gone i don't mind trying gaseki we've
seen tight ends do well against the miami dolphins that middle of the field against those backers
yeah i mean it's been hawkinson was certainly one of those guys and i think gaseki could do as well
i don't think he'll see as many targets as hawkinson but somebody who could still file away
as a top 12 tight end chase out higgins out we know both out gaseki's good to go but if it's just
one how do you feel if it's just one this is just about how i feel it's kind of a middling
tight end two for me and i think the big difference for me between tj hawkinson is mike gaseki
is i can see the possibility of tj hawkinson having a big day where he sees 10 targets
mike gaseki it's been like maybe three five he had one game that's kind of true and so i i think
gaseki might be slightly more likely to score a touchdown just because it's the bingles offense
and he's got joe burrow throwing it to him and the dolphins are probably a little bit worse than the
saints but i think hawkinson a more reliable option uh let's talk about the rank list 13
through 24 and some other options that you may consider because for the most part even if there
are some bad matchups like for example i'm going to tell you to sit don kincaid you're probably not
going to do that but you might be relying on a few of the names on this list that we like a little
bit differently than the consensus for me that's colston loveland dave has him as a sitz we'll
debate that in a second uh you got tyler higby dave and then kenyan sadiq for you heath so let's
talk about tyler higby because as we saw last week was gaseki and gaseki are both top three in the
draft and so we're going to talk about that a little bit more so we're going to talk about that
a little bit more so we're going to talk about that and i'm going to talk about that as well
11 ppr points 11 plus ppr points uh first game without terrence ferguson and colby parkinson but
puka nakua did return so can higby have another strong game against buffalo i look at that
buffalo defense and i see a sieve i think that they just can't really do much of anything well
other than rush the quarterback with greg rousseau everybody else in that defense
just not quite getting the job done and so i think that there's going to be
plenty of opportunities for matthew stafford to throw to whoever he wants in this offense and if
you're going to keep the pace in the game and it ends up being high scoring then you're just going
to want pieces of this game and tyler higby is going to be one of them not the best piece
obviously nakua devante the running backs well the running back kyron williams would be better
but i don't mind tyler higby if you're struggling at tight end or if you need a bi-week replacement
he's going to be out there in a bunch of leagues i just watched the injury report really closely
because it kind of sounded like they were optimistic last week about colby parkinson not
being too far away if he's back i'd be a little bit more worried about higby talk about sadiq
because injuries matter here as well no it's not just sadiq he's going to have to do a lot of work
no ad no adenai mitchell is the expectation once again but mason taylor is going to return yes and
i have uh moved sadiq i think from tight end eight to tight end eleven based on the fact that he's
gonna be sharing a little bit more maybe with mason taylor i think people look at last week
and they say oh it was just a one week thing in what week three he only had four targets last
week gino smith threw 15 passes last week so yes four targets also better than a 25 target yeah
so i think you'll probably see him in that 20 target share rest of season which is going
to make him a top 12 tight end in my mind let's talk colston loveland because i like him better
than you do i have him as a starter based on the rankings you have him as a sit based on the uh
the graphics that we're going to show and i i think just the one thing that i like from
colston lemon is he was alive last week thankfully tyson bajan nine targets six catches 57 yards
let's see just a little bit more of that but last year three games against the packers in
the final seven games of the season and he was dominant in two of them over 12 ppr points we
know about the one playoff game where he was just absolutely fantastic but he averaged 14
point 2 pbr points against this team in those three games and i'm just hoping dave it's hope
but let's just get more of colston loveland being featured and i don't know if it's just because of
bajan but it was great to see the bears offense was playing on time that bajan was throwing to
who the first three was supposed to be and when the first one was covered he'd throw the second
he wasn't running all over the place and trying to play superman that's the difference but you
know who else came alive last week romo dunzey came alive last week and i think he can continue
to be a factor for the bears offense though i can't both of them though because we it's i think that
there's just too many receivers now we talk about it all the time so many mouths to feed and we're
coming off of a game where loveland didn't he have nine targets in the game he had a ton of targets
and he didn't have a monster game good game for ppr no complaints finally we got one from loveland
but i think oh dunza is better i think luther burden's better and i'm not ready to write off
khalifa raymond yet either there was a play where he was wide open down the field would have been
a smash touchdown tyler bajan threw it short maybe to your point that helps colson loveland
because he's the one that could get those short throws i just don't know how many they'll be and i
also don't know how much throwing there actually will be in the game because i think the bears are
going to be able to run on the packers uh well they ran on uh the jets last week too and they
still had the opportunities for lovelace there's a difference of opinion i like him he uh dave
excuse me a little bit different there in terms of how you would start him so we've covered a lot of
these tight ends that the the starts and this it's let's just have a quick dalton kincaid conversation
because he's been bad the last two games after getting off to such a hot start and he got the
detroit bump in week two which may just have boosted his production and you may have missed
your cell high window here but i think it's going to be a good start and i think it's going to be
here the rams have allowed 85 yards receiving to the tight end groups that they faced so far this
year and that includes isaiah likely in a game where there was a quarterback change it also
includes george kittle coming back so those are the two premier tight ends that they faced is
don kincaid still safe though because from what we've seen the last two games it's been bad i don't
think he's safe at all he has big upside he has a very low floor especially against the rams what i'll
be watching maybe more closely than how he scores for moving forward is where's the snap share where's the route
share the first two weeks of the season he was playing more than he ever had before last week
it was still a little bit elevated but it's trending the wrong direction he needs to be
on the field for 70 of their past plays to be a must-start tight end so last week the patriots
doubled him a lot they were having defenders make contact with him and to be fair dj more left early
in that game so they could do that right so it that certainly helped a lot as well and i almost
think the bills saw that happening and they went you know what we don't want to even deal with this
let's just reel back on his snaps i think the bills are going to have to throw in this game
they need dalton kincaid if they're going to be competitive if there's no dj more i would start

Wrapping things up here on Fantasy Football today with your questions. And this one is,
need one tight end and full PPR. Kenya Sadiq, JJ Hawkinson, or Colston Loveland? We probably
all have a different answer on this one. I think we might. All right, just name.
Hawkinson. You need a flow chart to answer this question.
Hawkinson.
Jefferson's out, Sadiq, if not.
All right, I would go Loveland if Hawkinson is not the featured guy. Next question.
Give Kyron and receive Saquon plus Michael Wilson. So would you give up Kyron and
Kyron Williams for Saquon Barkley and Michael Wilson?
I am worried that Saquon will not be the same Saquon we're used to. I think I'd rather hold
on to Kyron Williams.
All right, last question. For you, Heath, stream weekly quarterbacks per set if I have Lamar and
Nick. So who would you start?
If I, I mean, hopefully Lamar plays. It sounds like it's possible, but I would stream Deshaun
Watson.
Rodgers, then Jacoby Brissett are my top three streamers.
Okay, we would go with Brissett in that scenario.

FAQs
We Share Health is a healthcare sharing alternative that allows individuals without employer-sponsored insurance to save up to 60% compared to traditional plans. It offers access to a nationwide PPO network with over a million physicians and unlimited telehealth services.
Stitch Fix offers an online personal styling service where users complete a style quiz sharing their size, vibe, and budget. A human stylist is matched with them, and they receive a clothing box tailored to their preferences. The user tries on the items, keeps what they like, and returns the rest—returns and shipping are free, with no subscription required.
Jalen Warren is ranked in the top 12 for the Steelers vs. Colts game, and Chase Brown is projected as a top-12 option against the Dolphins due to a weak defense and recent passing patterns. DeAndre Swift is considered a must-start for the Bears, while Ramondre Stevenson and DeAndre Swift are seen as high-risk due to injury concerns.
Fans should monitor key players like Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins, as injuries could shift target volume to backups. For example, if Chase and Higgins are out, Dante Myers or Khalil Shakir may see increased targets, but matchups against strong defenses like the Rams or Dolphins can impact performance.
Jaden Daniels is considered a top-6 quarterback and close to a must-start due to his rushing ability and the absence of top-tier quarterbacks like Mahomes and Young. However, his performance heavily depends on having reliable receivers like Terry McLaurin and Stephon Diggs.
Mike Gesicki and TJ Hockenson are strong options due to their recent performances. Gesicki is tied to the Bengals' offense and could thrive if receivers are out, while Hockenson has shown consistent production and is a reliable top-12 tight end in favorable matchups.
