Week 4 Winners & Losers: Biggest Takeaways From Every Game! (10/04 Fantasy Football Podcast)

The fantasy football recap highlights standout performances from players like Drake May, Malik Neighbors, and Emmanuel Wilson, who registered significant fantasy gains due to improved play and favorable matchups. The Kansas City Patriots’ win over Buffalo marks a turning point in their offense, despite a weak defensive showing. Houston’s defense was exposed with a rare 0-for-12 third-down performance, and Trey McBride struggled with minimal yardage, underscoring their defensive fragility. On the positive side, Kyron Williams and Kenneth Walker achieved career highs in targets and catches, while Nico Collins and other receivers showed consistent production. However, multiple injuries—such as to Matt Collins, Kyle Menongai, and DJ Moore—create roster volatility. Players like Tucker Kraft and Remandre are emerging as reliable options due to increased playing time and role stability. Conversely, Devonte Adams and Josh Downs remain high-risk due to inconsistent fantasy output, especially in high-pressure games. The waiver wire presents opportunities with players like Ali Gordon, Chase Brown, and Parker Washington, particularly in PPR formats. Overall, the week emphasized the importance of injury awareness, situational matchups, and tracking player trends to build resilient fantasy rosters.

This is Fantasy Football today from CBS Sports. What a play! Can you believe this? It's a no again. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. To the races, play stays on his feet. Just gotta go to the distance. Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath. Week four, recap. Oh, Heath's got the Chief's jersey. You didn't have that on this morning, did you? No, no, I generally have it on when it's a 430 game. Look at how I just, like, as soon as the game's over, I go upstairs. OK. All right, all right. Look at good. I'm excited to win for the Kansas City Chief's exciting day of football. Not quite like last week, but let's do the quick fantasy feud, basically. Give me the top five answers around the board. Top six answers. Nondesimal scoring. Who are your top six players in PPR leagues right now? Quarterback, whatever. Yeah, Heath. C-D-L-M. Number one, pass or play. Oh, I'll pass. OK. Dave, you're up. Keep naming. Kyron Williams, that amount. Kyron Williams, number two. Jamie, you're up. Kenneth Walker. Kenneth Walker is, yes, tied for fifth. Heath, back to you. No, I passed. Jamie, back to you. Kalminaga. No, good guess. Dave. Nico Collins. Oh, yes, he is tied with Kenneth Walker. Heath, back to you. I passed. OK, Dave, back to you. I passed. It's Drake May. And it's Javante. Wait, I thought it was not Nond Quarterbacks or anybody? I said Quarterback. I said everything. Quarterback. So anyway. Drake May. Lam Karrick May. Drake May, Javante, Ken Walker, Nico Collins. You're six best scores for-- Just take anybody against Houston. The worst defense in the league. Apparently, apparently. Yeah, pretty surprising stuff there with some career days. CDLAM had 21 targets and 17 catches. Those were career highs. Kyron Williams had 10 catches. That was a career high. The Eagles-- I saw heard this on Red Zone. Eagles went 0 for 12 on 3rd down, worse 3rd down. I mean, obviously, worse 3rd down, right. But for that many, in team history, worse 3rd down performance in Eagles history. 0 for 12. And Trey McBride had 31-- I think they're 0 for 18 in their last game and a half. Oh, boy. Trey McBride had 31 yards on 12 targets. That is the fewest amount of yards on any of his 22 career games with double digit targets. I told you it wasn't going to be good. Did you? No, all right, 0 for 0 for 17. They were 0 for 5 in the second half against the Bears last week. So 0 for 17, then their last 3rd down. Oh, the last six quarters. Wow. All right, let's talk about some good stuff here. Biggest winner today. Jamie, Jamie, who's the biggest winner? I mean, make an argument for Drake May. After what the season has looked like for him and the way that he performed today. And now the season starts, the schedule is starting to get a little bit lighter. And hopefully, AJ Brown, we've got a positive report over the weekend that he's making progress. So if he can come through this and start to give you some solid performance, your production leading into AJ Brown's return, you're going to be thrilled about that. So excited to see that. And just because he's on the screen, Malik Neighbors, as well, I think I was the most optimistic about neighbors going into this weekend. And it was mostly just a do-it-the-match-up. So I didn't think that everything was as bad as it seemed because for neighbors, at least, getting banged up in the Rams game and losing guard, and then playing that bad game in the weather. So this was a game that I wanted to see him come out and perform well, and he did. So neighbors, I think, is back in our good graces as no worse than a number two receiver, if not a borderline number one guy again, especially giving the injuries to the position. All right, so usually, we just do that the biggest winner, biggest loser. But I think right now, we'll just do all the winners. And let's get into the pulse pounding performances. Brought to you by Woop, the wearable device that gives you personalized insights into your sleep recovery, your strain, and how daily choices may be influencing your overall well-being. Heath and Jamie have their whoops on right now. And if you want to learn more, head to join.woop.com/fft. And Woop is spelled WH-O-O-P, join.woop.com/fft. So Jamie has neighbors and Drake May. And neighbors is at Washington, and then New Orleans, the next two weeks, and May. So I think when you talk about May, Dave has Ramondra Stevenson. Heath has Romeo Dobs. All of you picked a Patriot as a winner. And the Patriots, of course, with their best game of the season, their first win. They go to Buffalo, and put up one second. That's the second one. Oh, that's right. They beat the Steelers. Their second win, they're two and two. They go to Buffalo. They put up 29 points. Drake May is your number one quarterback. But Dave, what are you thinking? You've had Ramondra on there as a winner. He has a touchdown. But what do you think about the Patriots in general? In general, it's an encouraging sign that they're able to put this together and have a functional offense. I think part of this did have to do with Buffalo's defense, not being great. They're terrible. Yeah, this is going to be a problem. Well, this was the third highest point total against Buffalo this year. That's saying. Only the charges have been worse. Yeah. And I think it's going to be great for fantasy production for our favorite bills players. But I worry about what it means for Buffalo's defense. Every game might be the same for them, because Greg Russo can get to the quarterback. I don't know if anybody else really can. I know that they had a bunch of injuries. Benford didn't play, and then they lost another corner on the board. So we'll see how Buffalo can get better defensively, but you almost don't want them to. So that everybody that's in a shootout. Who has the best defense in the AFC? I mean, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Denver. In my-- yeah, you could make the case for Cleveland, because I think Rodgers had a great game against a month or two. You don't say it. Don't say it. I think he will figure it out. I think they'll figure it out. But they don't currently have the best defense in the AFC. You can't make that argument. Yeah, I can't. I mean, the dolphins don't give up touchdowns. Oh, sure. It's not them. The chiefs have a great-- The Raiders have a legit defense, I think. The Raiders have a good defense. They have Raiders have a good defense. The chief defense is fine, but it's not one of the best in the AFC. Well, who's this then? I mean, what do we-- That's why I'm asking you. You know who it could be? You know who it could be is Jacksonville. No, that's a great call. No, that is a great call. I think Jacksonville might end up-- they might have the best defense for now. But they've got-- they're getting turnovers. They're stopping the run. And they're getting pressure on quarterbacks. They've got to talk with Pete Prisco about this today. That they're just not like finishing their pressures as much as Pete would like. But they're doing some good things on defense. Put me down for Jacksonville. OK. Heath-- well, Dave, why don't you talk about your other winner, Tucker Kraft? Well, I was going to talk about the real winners, which are doctors, trainers, and physical therapists around the national football league, because they're going to be able to work on a bunch of players that got hurt again, more injuries again. It's annoying again. But Tucker Kraft, 7 plus targets, second week in a row, had to touch down this week to go with it. I think it's encouraging signs. I think it's steps forward for him. His playing time has been up now. I think it's three straight games. So I feel like Tucker Kraft can be a tight end that we can feel OK starting. And as for Remandre, not the most efficient stat line, but he went right back. It's been two weeks now. He's back to being the primary runner for New England, dominating on third downs, all their snaps inside the five. Kind of had it last week, too. And he did get hurt a little bit at the end. So hopefully he's fine. But as long as he's fine and the schedule's great moving forward, I think you can start Remandre is at least a lower number to running back. Stevenson's dominating the passing dance, but hasn't Henderson had more carries the last two weeks? No, they're almost even. But Remandre is-- Has Henderson had more carries the last two weeks? No, I think they're tied. Oh, Henderson had more today. I thought he had one more last week, too. Oh, damn it. Yes, you're right. OK. One more each week. Damn it. Oh, right. But we know that there's more to it than just getting a lot of carries. And certainly playing time is still favoring Remandre. Yeah, so you're right. Remandre's going to have the catches. They're splitting carries evenly. But Remandre is working at the goal line. There was a play in this game where Trayvian carried down to the two-yard line. Maybe the one-yard line. He came out. Remandre came in. Yeah, look, I guess I'd like to see one-- another good performance before I just like, oh, yeah. I'm in on the Patriots. Tthea had Romeo Dobbs as one of your winners. Matt Collins got hurt in this game. Dobbs was only started in 13% of leaks. He's actually available in 30% of our leagues. Six catches, 58 yards, two touchdowns on nine targets. And still, he somehow made a terrible blunder that almost cost him the game. But I think he was responsible for Drake May's interception, wasn't he? Right. It was kind of deflected. But it was two out of three games now where he's the primary pass catcher for Drake May with that AJ Brown. I think that should be the expectation going forward, at least until AJ Brown's back. I think he can view him as a low end wide receiver three next week. Sure. Matt Collins got hurt in this game also. So that could open up some targets form. Yes. And Efton Chisholm came in for Matt Collins and called an impressive touchdown. That's an awesome touchdown catch. So they get the Raiders next week. It's a very interesting game. The Raiders can really rush the passer. I mean, that is their strength right now, I'd say. And also, yeah, Hunter Henry with five targets. That's the Patriots. Now, Emmanuel Wilson, I'm actually a little annoyed by this. I got a lot of sharp today. Way to come back. Did Emmanuel Wilson just solidify a role for himself Heath with 24 touches, two touchdowns? And, you know, he's had a solid year so far for Seattle. So I think-- Like Sharbinay wasn't ever going to come back and handle 70% of the work I didn't think. And with price being on IR, I would say that Wilson has secured a role for himself for a while. I'm not sure about for the rest of the season. I don't really expect Sharbinay to be back to playing next week. Maybe he will be. But with somebody coming off the injury he did, I think they'd like to give him a couple weeks of practice. So I think Wilson's probably a number two running back next week, performed well. The rushing average got hurt a little bit by some rush attempts late in the game when everybody in the stadium knew they were going to run the ball. But maybe most importantly involved in the passing game and did well in that area too. There's just the wild card in all this is the Joe Mixon visit to Seattle and do they decide to sign Mixon. If they sign Mixon, then we're in trouble across the board because it's another player that's in the mix and clearly the best resume of anybody that would be on that roster. So if I was Joe Mixon, I would try and get a flight to Philadelphia. They may need some running back up over there. I would stay away from Seattle for now. Okay. Well, there you have. We have three Patriots on our winners list. We have Tucker Kraft, Malik Neighbors, and Emmanuel Wilson. Jamie, are you going to trust Malik Neighbors in a bad matchup? Define a bad matchup. I feel what Alfie in a few weeks Houston's on the schedule. I mean, what's Quinion Mitchell's status after leaving to it? I mean, who cares? It's like Houston in three weeks. No, I'll say this. I think Malik Neighbors is back to being easy matchups. He's going to be somewhere in the top 15 bad matchups. He's somewhere in the top 24, you know, so it's just this was what you wanted to see. Now did he have the, you know, over-targeted game from James Winston when they scored 30 plus points? No, that was Isaiah likely today. But you saw that James can make Malik Neighbors a fantasy star. And that's what I wanted to see. I was really nervous after that first catch, when he landed on his shoulder and grabbed the shoulder and went off to the sideline, but he came back in and played great. Yeah, I think I just, I didn't mean to say like, oh, who cares about Quinion, about Quinion Mitchell? He's a great cornerback and it obviously matters. But I think my point was more like, as I'm watching the Giants, I think they can do okay against Arizona and Washington next week. I don't, I mean. First place shine. Make sure you address the problem. Yeah. In sole possession of first place in New York Giants. Yes. You know what this is though? This is prolonging the bet. The longer that they stay in playoff contention, you don't have to go to the mirror. Jeez. No, you might, you might get a gift next week if, uh, if Huntly starts. Yeah, I know. And, uh, maybe Zayl will have a game to bring it back into contention because who? I think it's pretty clear who is this year's JSN, who, you know, that question got asked so many times. I think we have the answer and it's safe hours. Right. This guy's insane. Um, thank you. Zay, ZaySN. Hey, I love it. Uh, thank you. Yeah. I tried it this week. Parker Washington was in that discussion too. So maybe, but Parker Washington had what five targets last week, three this week, I think, like JSN or ZSZ, ZSZ is being target. Zay's also missed the game with not forget that. He has. Um, but it's like, all right, I'm going to do the Woop read in just a second, but you think about Zayl flowers years so far. Amazing and weak one. He played a half. Amazing in week three. He played 33% of the snaps. Everything at halftime of week four. And Lamar Jackson didn't play the entire second half. If you put it on like a per route basis or a per snap with Lamar Jackson basis, he has two halves with 23 fantasy points. He's been awesome. I'm saying. All right. Back here with our big losers for fantasy week four and heath is going to talk about Dalton Trumbo, a famous American screenwriter who wrote Roman holiday, Dalton McGinty, a Canadian politician, Dalton Rappatoni, an American singer, Dalton Connect. These are just famous Dalton's according to Google, but also Dalton concait and Dalton Schultz. Go ahead. The Dalton's had tied in word disaster and I don't have any great explanation for it, but I think Dalton Schultz just completely not involved although part of a very cool and very important play on a hook and ladder. They had five tied in targets and only two of them went to Dalton Schultz. Dalton concait was invisible for the first 90% of this football game. I think if somebody wants to drop Dalton Schultz at a hard time arguing against them and Dalton concait, it's funny like we all kind of ranked him just outside of the top 12 tight ends. And then as soon as he had two great games, he was right back, he was up into the top five and I think he's probably right around 12 again. And I'll throw in a bonus loser because no one else added him and I hadn't seen the Ben Johnson quote before I sent him my losers, but Dalton Drey Swift benched for fumbling and Kyle Menongai was awesome, definitely a loser for him as well. So I mean, I broken his thumb. Yeah, Menongai got hurt late in the game. I didn't see the quote from Ben Johnson. What is that? That didn't have anything to do with injury. No, no, no. No, he got benched for fumbling Kyle Menongai hurt his thumb. Oh, I didn't see a quote about that. No. No, what was the quote about Drey Swift? It was that his benching had nothing to do with injury. Oh, oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Okay. Yeah. Because I thought maybe when it happened, he just re aggravated the knee injury from that he'd mispractice on Thursday with. No. Yeah. This one I actually did catch on like last week with the Jadarian price is what I did catch. That was the Andre Swift getting benched for fumbling and also it happened to Caleb Johnson and and he was having a pretty good game and he fumbled kind of going into the end zone for the Packers and his coach, Matt LaFour said, if you're I think he's the one who said if you're going to fumble, you're not going to play or something like that. So the funny thing was it was just like you said, only I think reverse from the prior week. Marshal Lloyd fumbled in the drive before that. It went out of balance. It was fine. I know. Hippocrates. All right, Dave, you've got this one. Oh, this one really grinds my gears, man. Well, these grinds, my gears. Go ahead, Jeremiah. Well, like Josh Downs, okay, you had a bad game. Jeremiah, love like the role was bad too, but yeah, you have love and downs. So starting with Downs, Daniel Jones was just an abomination for pretty much the entire game and just throwing short off target. It was ugly. It was really tough to watch. If you were a Josh Downs fantasy manager, and as long as Daniel Jones just doesn't get out of this funk, I don't know how you can feel good. Daniel Jones can have a fuck. I don't know how you can feel good about starting Josh Downs. He's more of a number three receiver. I think it's pretty easy to start my league neighbors pretty much moving forward over Josh Downs, which is something that I did not do personally today, and I'm paying for it in one of my leagues. As for Jeremiah, love, he said after the game, talking about this workload split, quote, this is probably going to be the longest year of my life. And then Michael Floor, in his press conference, explained that Tyler Algera is essentially their third down back, two minute offense back, and that's going to continue to be the case. And we saw it play out. If you look at the snaps between the Cardinals running backs today, I'm Algera had the lead. It was 54% for him. Jeremiah, 46%. Algera had the lead on third downs, seven snaps inside the five for the Arizona Cardinals. How many do you think Jeremiah had? Zero. Zero, not one. So we're right back to where we were two, three weeks ago with Jeremiah, love. Can't trust him as a top 15 type of fantasy running back. Went up against the Giants and could not do very well with it. Yeah, very disappointing. It was the goal line stuff that really bothered me because the reason I think is because it wasn't like that last week. So maybe it won't be like that next week, but obviously we can't look at Jeremiah, love and say he has some solidified goal line rule. All right, Heath had Dalton Schultz and Concade as losers. Dave had Jeremiah, love and Josh Downs as losers. Dave, you're offered right now DeAndre Swift for Jeremiah, love. What do you do? I'm probably going to take it assuming that I'm comfortable with Swift getting his rollback and that his benching was just a one week thing. Heath, you're offered right now. Hold on, I'll tell you in a second, you're offered right now. Omari and Hampton and Khalifa Raymond for Christian McCaffrey. What do you say? I'm going to go ahead and keep Christian McCaffrey on that one. Yeah, B2. I just want to make sure I wasn't crazy because Jamie proposed it to me. So I just thought maybe I've missed something here. I know you're a big with Khalifa guy from this morning. And I think I'll offer you one of your favorite players after I want to marry him to everybody. Hey, Tramant. Alright, Jamie, your losers were Devonte Adams. Four catches for 32 yards on nine targets. Another game where Matthew Stafford threw about 50 passes. And Jalen Hertz did score 17 and a half fantasy points against the Rams, but threw for 93 yards. So Adams, it hurts. Yeah, it hurts. Look, it's frustrating. And you know, you can, you can give him a pass on the fact that no Devonte Smith, no Dallas God or Barclay gets hurt or in the game and no Lane Johnson starts the game. You know, so he's down arguably his most important teammates to help him out. That being said, he has not played well really for the last three games. And if he doesn't have his weapons going into week five, I don't think you can consider him a starting fantasy quarterback because he just looks absolutely awful right now. For Devonte Adams, we talked about this. Did we miss our sell high window on Devonte because Puka coming back and the answer for at least one week is yes. So the nine targets is great. He had a couple of bad drops, which is not typical Devonte Adams. But we had this whole disconnect with him and Stafford last year. And we're seeing it a little bit right now. And I think it was just going to be a situation when Puka's on the field, if he's not scoring touchdowns, this is what you're going to get because it's what happened last year when he wasn't scoring touchdowns. So I'm just a little bit nervous that Devonte Adams is not going to be a top 15 caliber wide receiver. You're still going to start him most weeks because nine targets from Matthew Stafford. That's usually going to be a good formula for success. And they get Buffalo next week. So he's going to still be a top 24 receiver. But again, missed the sell high window on not getting rid of Devonte Adams when he could have. It's Stafford was not very good for most of this game. No. And that's not been that unusual this season. I sort of, yeah, I mean, I tend to agree, right? I don't think he played all that well against Denver either. Just through the ball so much and made some plays. He's got six interceptions. I mean, that's not great through four weeks. Yeah. Meanwhile, you know, I mean, we didn't talk about Kyron, but the fact that Kyron Williams has two straight gains with at least five catches, I think. And he dominated plenty of times. He sure did. Yeah, he's ready. He's running away with it. And I'm going to give you a bonus loser here. And it's the Bucks and it's Bucky Irving. I mean, that of all the things I saw today, I think what incensed me the most was Sean Tucker being their short yardage and goal line back. I loved it. It's a way. Why don't you love it? It's anarchy. It's anarchy. He's really good at it. He's like a bowling ball. I mean, you can't you can't start any one of the quotes in the Bucks passing game confidently. And now you can't. Yeah, I agree. Tough, right? What do you think about Bucky? He's tough to start. Yep. Yes, very tough to start. Like I think I just, there's some guys that are not necessarily, and I think you look at the chiefs. Like what did Kreme, I have last show. I can 80% success rate on second and third and one and two. And Ken Walker is about 50% this year. Like Kreme, that's not better than Ken Walker, but he might be better at that one specific thing. Well, I hate it. I got an injury update on DJ Moore. So let's go through our news and notes here. That was a tough one, DJ Moore. He's been he's been really frustrating for fantasy managers. No doubt about it. Okay, Lamar Jackson, they're calling it day-to-day with an ankle injury. Marcus Mario, that looks more like a long-term one with the knee injury, reactivating his MCL injury from Mario, and Jayden Daniels maybe plays next week, or we'll get Colley Aquamanus again. I think we're seeing Jayden Daniel. I hope so. Well, that's the giant. So, I hope Colley Aquamanus, but no, for our purposes. Yeah, that'd be great. Ramondre, did Ramondre leave with the knee injury Dave? He left at the very end of the game. I don't know how serious it is. Okay. So we'll keep an eye on Ramondre, Menongai with the thumb, Swift, the fumbles. Barkley, first quarter, he left almost immediately. Tank Bigsby apparently got banged up late in the game. I don't think that's anything serious, but you never know. So we'll be talking about that. They look bad. But Bigsby, yeah, he's on the ground. Yes. Looks like it's a groin area. I don't know. Okay. Maybe it's worse than I thought. They were from steak on the Shipley in one game. And yeah, I mean, honestly, it's too much of a split right now between Shipley and Bigsby, but Bigsby would be the preferred guy if he were healthy and Barkley were out there at Jacksonville, best defense in the AFC since Dave next week. Green Bay running back. Chris Brooks left with an ankle injury. We saw some progress from the run game. We saw Caleb Johnson having a pretty decent game, but then he fumbled. So, and then at least Lloyd was involved in the passing game and they get Chicago next week. I mean, there should be a lot of points scored for Green Bay against Chicago Dallas and Detroit in their next three games and Carolina and then Carolina after that. Yep. I know it's a Jets, but it's another good week of defense from Chicago. Sure. Yeah. Kyle, you check left with a knee injury. That one look kind of bad. Yep. And wide receivers. We had Rishi Rice leaving almost immediately. They go into their buy week at least, but Rishi Rice got her quickly, quickly there. And then Taekwan Thornton left late in the game with a gruesome ankle injury. DJ Moore shoulder injury. So, I guess the report here is that it's not considered to be a long-term issue according to Adam Schefter, but I think we're all pretty frustrated with it. Jamar Chase left in the second quarter. We'll wait to get an update. They've got Miami this upcoming week and then a buy. Concussion that it's a concussion. Yeah, using the concussion protocol. So if he's healthy, he'll play against. We have our we have our new tight end to go pick up this week. Micah Sikki revenge game against the Dolphins who just gave up. Well, Higgins also got hurt. Higgins came back though, right? He did. Okay. But we'll keep an eye on that. Sometimes they are able to come back and then, you know, the adrenaline wears off whatever. Pat Bryant injury, Jaylin Lane serious injury, Malik neighbors with that shoulder injury that popped up again, but he came back in. Jaylin, nailer, concussion, Mac Holland's calf, Lad Maconkey exit came into the game with a foot injury. Had two targets. No catches left with a foot injury. Lad Maconkey, very frustrating start to the season. Baltimore, they're down to their fourth string center. They lost one of their guards. Andrew Voorhees to a foot injury. Joe Alt left right tackle for the Chargers. Joe Alt left with an injury. It's just not Herbert's fault. What's his name left to? The other tackle. Slater. Slater. Yeah. Slater got banged up. Yeah, they were down to one of their starting offensive linemen for the year in week. Go get Zach Morse. And you know, it's later. It's it's just not Herbert's fault. The linebacker shouldn't have been standing there. You should have just give it Herbert cleaner path. It doesn't happen to anybody else. Minnesota, Minnesota lost two linemen too. Or at least Darisaw was evaluated for concussion. I don't know if he came back. Darisaw came back. Okay, good. But Donovan Jackson left with a knee injury. guard. And there are some defensive injuries we'll keep an eye on. Jaguars had two safety's leave with injuries. One of them was a was a starter. The other one was more of a special teamer and blah, blah, blah. Early waiver wire. Jamie, any big time names for the waiver wire this week? I mean, it's time to stop ignoring Kirk cousins at this point. Like, it's just another strong game for him, fantasy wise. And the kubiac system is just great. Like the touchdown D and Thomas was fantastic. Um, he's, you know, can, you know, rock powers making plays for him. Trey Tucker's made some plays for him. Uh, it's just cousins playing well. You know, so when we're looking at now, note Bryce Young or, uh, Patrick Mahomes with their bi weeks, and we don't know if Jay and Daniel's coming back and just the way quarterback play has been so far, like, it's time to look at Kirk cousins as, uh, as an option. Um, I don't know off top of my head, maybe having a friend, he would have manual Wilson's roster percentage. Yeah, 62, 62, 64%. Yeah, I mean, he's, you just made it. Yeah, he's, he's, he's, he's the prize. If he's, uh, if he's still available, um, I don't know where the dolphins ended up settling, but Ali Gordon looked fantastic. He should be considered a one of the bigger winners. 78% for him. 57% for Jalen, right? Of the, uh, of the week. Um, wide receiver, uh, yes, Roman, Robb is going to be in the list. You want to kick man? Carnault takes going to be on the list. Cool man to be on the list. Roman Wilson's going to be on the list. Um, yeah. I really have to throw the, uh, Ali Gordon fab winners. You know, they, they spent too much. They got laughed at the end, they got laughed at at the end of the week because of the Jalen right reports. And then they probably left them on their bench, but 14 minutes started. You'll be a dying care. You're going to roll them out there next week. I don't know how good he'll do against Cincinnati. You know, they started this game, like at halftime, they were even in terms of reps between right and Gordon and Gordon ripped off a long run early in the third quarter. And the coaches were like, Hey, that's enough for us. He's the odd hand. And he actually had a number of very good runs. You look great. Yeah. He did. He sure did. There's no point in saying otherwise and write bots to kick return like it was all Ali all the time. Ali, Ali oxen free. Uh, one person in the chat. I wasn't Ali, Ali, you weren't free. You were very expensive. Yes, you were. This guy's name is lad, which is appropriate because he brings up tray Harris tray hair. Like, if you see, yeah, you see the stats of this game. They, a lot, a lot late. They were trailing and they put up some numbers. But yeah, he's got another injury on the first play for the Panther. Tommy Trembler. McConkey could be out, could miss some time. And, um, yeah, tray Harris is interesting. Plus the Broncos actually lost both starting cornerbacks, Sir Tan and Riley Moss. And that's who the chargers play next week. Uh, okay. What else we got? That's the early look at the waiver wire for the shallow leagues. I'll bring up Xavier worthy because I think he could be kind of used like like with she rice, if rice were to miss time, but they are going. I mean, it could be, it could be Cyrus Allen. It could be, um, who am I biking on? Tyler Kill. Yeah, those guys are real. Yeah. All right. Let's see if they go get juju. Do you use the meat, the, uh, the media fix? He has generally the, uh, the rosy rice fix. Yeah, the bandit. So looking at some of the goal line work that stood out. I think Ramandre, Sean Tucker, we talked about that. Tony Pollard dominated at the goal line. Basel Tudon had a three, Basel Tudon had two touchdown runs callback that they didn't he had a three yard touchdown run callback. The owner of Swift had two as reverse name actually called touchdowns and reversed. Yeah. And Jack's had a bunch of big place callback. Who did? And the Jagger's have like two big place callback. Yeah. They had 10 penalties for a hundred yards in the first half. Yeah, two down to 44 yard touchdown callback. Not a good day for Skataboo. Uh, now in terms of goal line, I can't really say it was Najee Harris, but Najee did score in a two point conversion. And Najee did have a better day than Skataboo, but Najee also fumbled. Um, almost touchdowns. Yeah. I don't know. There were, there were some, nothing too big here. We mentioned Smith, uh, Swift, Chris Bell for the dolphins had a touchdown called back on a, uh, he stepped out of pounds for the ball. Yeah. Talk about Antonio Williams. Antonio Williams had a deep one called back. Tucker craft dropped a touchdown that he caught one later. TJ Hawkinson had such a great game. And at the end, he was about to score a touchdown and he slid down. I started him and it tied him premium league. Nice. Nice. May have actually cursed him, um, in front of my family when he took him. Oh, please, you gave me more than you ever could. It gave me a great day, but just finished the job. You can't curse him. I asked Dave this. Can you think of, uh, any other examples of one we've had a tight end, uh, kneel down? Slide on purpose. Yeah. Slide on the end of the game. It doesn't seem like a very tight end thing to do. Right. Well, good job, TJ Hawkinson. It was a classy move and they won the game because of it. All right. Let's go to the games and start with the London game. Colt's 30 commanders 13. Now, Dave, you said, Daniel Jones looks so bad and can't trust Josh Downs and all that. But Josh Downs did come through with two good games in a row with the same Daniel Jones. He just Jones had a really bad game here. So I really like really can't trust Josh Downs. You have to lower expectations a little bit. I mean, here, here, here was a platform form No Keenan Allen against the commanders who had given up tons of numbers, so wide receivers coming into the week and not only three catches for 16 years, only four targets. How does that happen? How I think he's their best receiver? How does Laquan Treadwell have six targets and Josh Downs have four? How does Ashton Dullin have six targets? And maybe it's as simple as well the commanders were putting coverage over the top on downs and Daniel Jones was just going in a different direction. It felt to me watching this game that Daniel Jones is like just was trying to get the ball out of his hands as fast as possible, which is part of the course form. But he was also at times just like holding the ball and not even realizing what he was looking at. He had another fumble when he was hit in the back field. It was just ugly and I don't feel great about starting players connected to Daniel Jones. Except for the running back, he's pretty good. On the Washington side of the ball, Heath, we did see Jacori Croskey Merit play a little bit on third down early in the game. And that was pretty cool. But you know what? That was pretty much all we got. That was cool. You know, he keeps struggling to run the ball. Jacori Croskey Merit nine carries for 15 yards, two catches for 35 yards, just like when can you trust Jacori Croskey Merit? I hate to say this out loud, but I thought Austin Eclare was good. He did. And they love Austin Eclare there. And I just wonder if he gets even more work next week. Especially the report that we got about Rashad White is accurate that he did have salt, shoulder surgery. So he's probably somebody day, I think he was 4% roster this morning. So like he's not somebody you want to start necessarily or a top priority in the waiver wire. But there's a lot of leagues where he should be roster. I don't think you can really look at the receiver. I don't think you can say, oh, digs had such a bad game. We didn't expect Collie Akmanis to be the quarterback. So let's throw that one away. Yeah. Yeah, you have some of these days. It's just as an interesting pronunciation. Yeah, Collie Akmanis. I think that was close. I think that was closer. Well, I'm in between man and man. And I just I think it's Collie Akmanis. I told Dave. He's the Collie Akmanis now, dog. I'm just glad that you fixed your Romeo doobs. Whatever you call it. I said dogs. Why do I say that? We're going to take a break on fantasy football today. We'll come back and talk about the good games starting with green base and Tim. Oh, that's a great game. All right. We'll be right back on FFT. Okay. Here we go. Green Bay and Tampa Bay 17, 14 Packers win. And they weren't happy. They won the game, but they said we can't we can't play like this offensively. They got to be better. Dave, what are your major takeaways for the Packers? Christian Watson with the bad game here. Yeah. Only three targets, but he led them with 47 yards. We talked about Tucker Graff and what he means to this offense and how he had a good game this week. Golden at a touchdown. I think there was more that golden could have had in this game. I'd have to go back and look at my notes on it. But it's it's kind of uninspiring. It wasn't a great game from Jordan Love. The run game still is a mess. It's there's there's there's a lot more to take away from Tampa, but it's not good. And it's almost like green bay played down to Tampa's level because the bucks were just like they they couldn't get very much going offensively either. And green bay just like they were just like, okay, cool. We won't do anything big because you won't do anything big. And then they lost Edger and Cooper in the game. So I know it was a three point game and you're trying to sell it as like a good game. Great game. I don't think it was even close to a good game. I'm going to tell you like I don't generally share the behind the scenes like this and Adam, but the notes for this game are pretty pretty terrible. Like I'm trying to look at the notes and just like find some things to say. And it's really really a matchup. Well, I think one thing I would point out point out with this team is that, you know, golden and Watson had been so good. They are horrible notes. Yeah, it's a bad game. But Tucker Kraft had like a 14% target share. So there's gonna be some weeks where Kraft gets featured more and just so happen that Marshawn Lloyd had some catches this week And I think I'm pretty sure we'll all go right back to starting Christian Watson next week And then the books. Yeah, we already talked about it. Just like how can you even trust them also? I think we I don't know if we expected at this point But I think a lot of people have expected the books defense to be really bad and just hasn't been they haven't been like lit up by quarterbacks Yet through four weeks to Sean Watson's had the best game against them out of burrow Watson Kyler and love Well, he's he full love this because Jordan love over 30 pass attempts is usually great Yeah, he was at 30 Yeah, he needs one more What a big day golden drew another pass interference penalty that set up the Packers right at the goal line The the interception that love through was on a post to golden if you'd been a little more accurate on that throw That could have been another touchdown for golden and It wasn't like a lot of it was Jalen Daniels and just playing with an undrafted free agent in his first start But the rest of the the bucks pass catcher just did not help him at all Mecca Buka dropped the ball in the in zone Kate Alton had a terrible drop You're saying this as as we watch James and Williams drop That could have been an unbelievable play. I'm sorry. I know did you make any guarantees for James and William? I've already lost all my fantasy credibility. I can't get it back Dallas 34 Houston 30 Jamie what are your major takeaways from this game and should we be worried about George Pickens two catches for 75 yards on three Targets and only one good game no great games so far this year I think Jerry Jones general manager made some calls and said listen We we want to have George Pickens on thing. We just want to pay him. So let's just not give him a lot of you know big stats Until we need like a you know a player to hear over there I mean look you're gonna still start George Pickens. It's been frustrating. There's gonna be some big games coming He's a great by low candidate because Dax playing still at a very high level and they're gonna still be in a lot of these games Where they have to score points so if you can get George Pickens cheap, I would do so But CD lamb was just an absolute monster and you just want to continue to see this from the guy that you dropped it in the first round Javonte Williams coming through with a great fantasy day despite facing this Texans defense, which Rightfully so Adam you highlighted how great they had been through the first three weeks this season against some really elite running backs I just think you're looking at it the Texans offense Specifically CJ Strout is playing well Go Collins great to see him back. So that connection is gonna be you know one that you can rely on especially you know You're starting to go if there was any doubt You hope you just stay healthy, but I think CJ Strout belongs in the streaming conversation No two games with these guys are together and two productive outings for Strout so I'm gonna you know obviously recommend them as a waiver wire add and somebody that you should consider starting if you don't have Bryce Young or or patch mom's next week and then a lot of short hitches and Slants and not really science about like hitches and and outrouts for for CD-Lam and it just really just it added up and for whatever reason Houston could not cover him He had a 30-yard pass. There was no Texan within five yards up I'm like this Intermediate over route that he turned into a big 30-yard play Pickens like Golden had a pass interference call go as way drew that in the end zone and that set up one of Javonte's touchdowns I wouldn't I wouldn't freak out if you had pickens David Montgomery or Woody Mark's rest of season Woody I don't really want to go on, but I think it's Woody Okay, yeah, Woody with his second straight game with a touchdown But five six carries in each game one catch in his last two. It's not inspiring stuff Jacksonville 22 since the night of 17. I am glad. Oh actually now that I think about it I was gonna make this game the game of the week, but then Dave kind of you know stole it and you know kind try to anticipate it So I pivoted to San Francisco Denver, which was worse. So Jacksonville 22 since an addy 17 And yeah, let's talk about Parker Washington eight targets in his last two games now in this game Trevor Lawrence only through 23 passes But Washington had three targets He's do we jump the gun with Parker Washington? We may have jumped the gun ranking him in the top 12 I don't think we jumped the gun calling him a must start and I plan on starting him again next week Yeah, and who got the targets this week? It was the tight end of course against the bangles was Brenton strange seven catches 95 yards on eight targets And the bangles next week they get the dolphins. So that's probably not gonna be a correct dollars such a week, but All right If to be fair, there hasn't been a Brenton strange week yet this season and then here comes this game. That's true Hey good card Ryan Thomas Jr. and Mike Marvin Harrison like spider-ran meme All right, what about chase Brown? Yes, he had 11 catches. He'll start behind He had nine carries for ten yards Jamie are we worried about chase Brown Yes, and no, I mean clearly he's not running the ball very well It's been a tough start to the season for him. You still see how much he plays You still see what he means in the passing game Jamar chase may not play they get the dolphins coming up this week Like there's just such a layup opportunity for him to be dominant So I know Aaron Jones didn't have the 20 plus point game that every other running back is had against the dolphins You can see it happening for chase Brown though just because of the type of player that he is So similar to George pick and similar to what we said going into the week like if you can get chase Brown cheap He is one of the best by low targets you could find of the upper echelon players Still feel that way. I don't think anybody's giving away after this game But you know again depending on the format you play in PPR is much harder to to To trade for him non-and-half. It's a lot a little bit easier I just look at the 11 catches and I go well Jamar chase was out. So I wonder how much that influenced it So then we're just looking at a guy with 90. I mean they were playing 85 bears too. So They were all right. Well, it's disappointing and if we'll talk about waiver wire guys Maybe it's Dante Myers he had nine targets seven catches for 82 yards Mitchell Tinsley had three catches for 49 yards Last year Tinsley had one pretty good. Oh, I know he had nine targets in a game. He didn't do anything with him Maybe it's the tight ends Rams 24 Eagles 20 Dave I think we can you know that's Jamie said we can give Jaylen Hertz and the Eagles offense a little bit of a pass They they're playing really shorthanded in fact I think they were down 10 starters by the end of the game because they lost two guys on defense In addition to Barclay and whatnot, but for the Rams You know what a Jamie had Adams as a loser. What's your take on Stafford and Adams right now? I think you can lower expectations for Adams and put him right back in that number two receiver category I don't think it's going to be this bad again And I didn't watch the game so I don't know exactly what the Eagles did and whether it was Quinnon Mitchell shutting him down or or what happened and same thing with Stafford But we know that the Rams are more than willing to give Stafford the opportunity to go out and throw 40 plus times a game If that's what it takes to win the game. Usually when it does that the numbers are pretty good the two interceptions stink I think you can chalk it up to just being a bad game for Stafford He still should be a consideration as a starter as long as both Adams and Nakuha are healthy I think I'll probably start Stafford and Adams both next week Yeah, I don't think anybody's benching Devon Thames. I don't want to give the impression I said that but it is just where he was Without Puka to what we saw today and there's a huge difference and you know the last You know 20 plus games whatever it is of them together Not exactly great for Devon Thames when he does not score touchdowns Stafford lost one touchdown on a Kyron Williams following my yard short You might have said that's almost touchdowns earlier. I actually thought. Yeah, thank you You know, so that would have made his fantasy line a little bit better But look whenever you're getting the type of volume from him that we're seeing and then going into a game against Buffalo We're Drake May. Just picked them apart. You know, this should be a big game coming up for for Stafford So thank you should be encouraged by him if you uh, you know, didn't start him or you did start him and you got you know lackluster statling and it's not just the Buffalo game It's the next six games Buffalo Arizona Las Vegas Chargers commanders Cardinals I mean, don't don't say the Raiders. Yeah Raiders and Chargers aren't great But even if I'm six or go mind taking on that panicking you're starting Stafford and all those games. Yeah, okay, okay Yeah, probably okay, and we'll talk about um Darius Cooper I guess on the waiver wire show three catches 30 times. What an awesome touch. Did you see his first touchdown? Yeah Yeah, how we ripped the ball away from the defensive back? That's pretty awesome Yep, sure did. That was awesome. New England 29 Buffalo 26. We have covered New England Is there anything that's anybody concerned about Josh Allen right now? He scored 17.5 points last week 20.5 fantasy points This week and six point for passing touchdown leaves anyone concerned To what Lee you're not benching Josh Allen. So I don't know you look look is he is he gonna get you 50 every week or 40 every week You know, no, that's just not realistic. So you know what the spike games will be You're gonna be some down games and it was still a really good defense You know, I know they weren't they didn't have Gonzalez But you know losing DJ more probably negates that a little bit despite the fact that Gion Coleman had an amazing game Clio Shakira played well you're just not getting the The extra points from Josh Allen which sucks and there's like he he and Brock Purdy have scored 21 more fantasy points than any other quarterback this season And he scored 20 in this game like if this is a bad game great Yeah, I just hope I mean, I don't think he was injured at all or anything like that I think he got hit in the knee last week, but didn't seem like he was but you know seem like he was running like his a normal, normal self. Okay, that's Josh Allen. Now, if DJ where we're out next week, would you start, would you rather have Coleman or Shakir? I feel better about Shakir because I just, I know what that track record is with Josh Allen and how he's been with him for a while. That Coleman played great. Like, he's, he's looked good the last couple of weeks. I'm happy for him. It's good to see. And if he can keep it up, he can evolve into a number three receiver. Listen, again, Buffalo's defense isn't good. This is going to be their game script. So Josh Allen needs pass catchers and Shakir has been a reliable guy for him for years. Keon Coleman has stepped up. There's, there's something that I want to point out on concade. This was his first game of the season where he didn't have a route rate of two thirds of Josh Allen's dropbacks. It was down to 54%. It reminds me of last year when the bills kind of managed how much work he'd get. And so a drop in snaps, a drop in routes played, another drop in targets is five total targets in this last two games. That concerns me. Yeah. Okay. That's a good point. And those routes will get updated tomorrow. So they probably change a little bit. But still, they're going to be a little lower than what we want to see from concade. Giant's 36 Arizona 24. This came down to the final play of the game, which was a pick six by the Giants cornerback. The ante banks was pretty crazy. They've won the last two games with interceptions basically in the end zone. And earlier, he got beat by Marv Harrison for a touchdown. He didn't, you know, I wouldn't even say he got beat. I would say Marvin Harrison made a really nice catch and he. There's a lot. He was encouraged. Okay. Marvin, Marvin Harrison, there's a lot that he can't do. But he can do that. He can make a nice jump ball catch or he can drop it. He can also do that. But, um, yeah, I mean, Harrison, one catch for a touchdown. Michael Wilson, though, and we talked about the Giants and neighbors and and whatnot, likely getting all those targets. But um, Michael Wilson, 13 targets this week, 17 last week, seven catches for 95 yards. Heath, how confident you feel? Michael Wilson, rest of season. I feel like he's going to be like, we talk about boom bus number three wide receivers. And he feels almost like a boom bus number two wide receiver. I think he's going to be very close to that wide receiver 24 ranking most weeks. During the by weeks, probably a little bit higher. Still, I don't feel like he has this great floor that I can definitely count on. It's just that he might get double digit targets any week. How would you guys rank Devante Adams? Michael Wilson and Malik neighbors rest of season. Adams neighbors Wilson. Neighbors Wilson Adams. Let me, Adam, did you watch this game for the Giants? You were probably locked in, right? Pretty locked. Fairly locked in. So was it Jamis throwing the ball well or was it Arizona's defense? Just letting guys run wide open? It was basically the same formula. Jamis was pretty bad. Jamis had some really bad moments and the interceptions were terrible. But he had a really good knack of escaping extending plays and throwing like on the run out of the pocket and getting chunk plays when the Cardinals defense and the broadcasters were talking about it too. Their zone defense. They really were bad. They just made missed coverage busts. It was that big play to I think it was it was either fields or neighbors down field where the guy was wide open on third and 20. So it was not like Jamis Winston played that well, he made some good throws, but it was bad coverage, I would say, by by the Cardinals. And on the other side, that makes me that makes me nervous about neighbors moving forward because he's not going to have matchups like this. 100%. That's what I was saying. Watching the Giants, I still feel like if they played a good defense, they'd be one of the worst offences in football. You know, but they play the commanders next week. They do. They have a generally pretty easy schedule. Washington New Orleans and then a bad stretch of Houston by Philadelphia, Washington, you know, what it's there's a lot of good matchups. Detroit and Dallas and the fantasy playoffs. I like that. All right. Malik neighbors are George Pickens rest us. Pickens. I'll take pickens. Pickens. Heath. You could break it. That trade done. Probably. And you know what? I made a trade for Pickens last week. It though was so damn smart. Three targets this week. Maybe we're just wrong. I think Jamie's right. He just needs to sign the contract so they'll start throwing it to him again. He can't, he can't sign the contracts to wait. Baltimore 24, Tennessee 18, I believe. That's score. That's good notes. Yeah. Well, I put 28 for Tennessee, but they definitely didn't win. Cam Ward first game throwing for more than 183 yards. We do have a little bit of a car now. Tate thing going on here. Nine catches 145 yards on 12 targets last week was solid. Yeah. I watched a lot of this game. And I thought the Titans offense looked surprisingly competent for large stretches. Good. So I think, yeah, I'm encouraged about Tate. I'm encouraged about Pollard, even though I only had 48 rushing yards. They're not going to be great, but I don't think they're going to be awful. It's 16 carries and 17 carries two straight weeks now for Pollard. That's pretty good. Henry with another inefficient game, but he scored a touchdown. Flowers is awesome. And Mark Andrew scored and he was actually open for a second touchdown, but Lamar missed him. How good is they flowers? Yeah, that's very funny. Even without the bet, you have to admit that flowers is just blowing away expectations. I think I already did. I, I nicknamed them ZSN. You weren't there for that? Oh, you did that. That was you. You did that. Greater late. Do you think Andrews is an asset? Because like Andrews, he gets like his five, five to seven targets every week. Could have had two touchdowns today. How do you view? Andrews are concade. Concade. Yeah, I still want to say concade. Because to me, Andrews is more of a touchdown or bus tied end anyway. It doesn't score. It's a PPR points. Genty or Henry, which frankly, we could have used from Concade. It's definitely Henry over Concade. Although Genty's rolling the passing games nice and they will talk about that game, I guess, in a minute. Go ahead. Chicago 23, Jets 12. The time of possession here, you almost can't believe 42 minutes and 45 seconds for the Bears 17 minutes and 15 seconds for the Jets. And this is one where I had a Giants game on one computer. I had the Jets game on another computer at Red Zone on my TV. And I kept saying myself, okay, what is going on with the Jets offense? I'm going to sit. I'm going to watch. I'm going to see what's happening. And they're punting. Every time I look up or they just, yeah, they didn't get a single third down. It was unbelievable. There's defense. I guess so. I guess so. Also, the Jets couldn't really get off the field often when they were on defense. No. And by the fourth quarter, they were just getting run over by Menangai and a little bit of Roshan Johnson. Do you have this fear that the Jets, after fairly encouraging first three weeks, are just going to become a terrible offense again? I think they're going to suck the next two weeks and then be good against the dolphins. I mean, four of their next five matchups aren't great. Cleveland at New England, Miami, Raiders at the Chiefs. What should I tell the Kenyan Sedeek manager right now? The guy just got a zero on four targets. Depends on your other tight end is, but you stash him. I mean, look, he's still got tons of potential. He just got the Detroit bump. And so far, that's not happening for the Panthers. But, you know, that he, everything fell in line for him last week, you know, with no Mitchell no Taylor this week, no Mitchell no Taylor, but he's not point Detroit. Almost half of their yards came on a deep ball touched on Isaiah Williams in the fourth quarter when it was 23 to six. Yeah, they have no threat of a run game right now, you know, because they're not going to fear Braille and Allen until he proves something. So that's going to be disappointing. I think he just looked at it as Wilson's a must-start guy stash Braille and Allen see what happens. You know, we don't know when Breeze Hall is going to come back when Breeze Hall comes back. You have two must-start guys for the Jets and that's kind of what it was at the start of the season. Okay, but to be fair, Breeze Hall been running like garbage the last two weeks and Braille now and have 14 carries for 59 yards. He had two catches for eight yards. That's really not bad when you have the ball for 17 minutes. And Isaiah Davis didn't have a single touch. I don't think you're looking at and saying, okay, it's going to be case by case, but like anybody that just picked up Braille now and as a one-to-one or had him as a replacement for Breeze Hall as a handcuff, like that's an okay replacement option until you figure out whatever your next potential move is. You know, so like if you're pivoting to, I'm trying to think, if you're pivoting to Emanuel Wilson in a 10-team league, if he's still available, or if you're pivoting to Shipley because he's going to be now the starter for the Eagles. What if it's Aclar? What if it's Aclar? I probably still start Braille now because I know he's going to get carries. So like there's lots of different ways that this can go. So yes, maybe they have the ball a little bit more, but now they're playing what should be on paper, tougher defense and weak five against the rounds. And can you really trust it with how this looked today? So I don't think Braille and Alan Craig me wrong, I don't know what a start percentage is, was played today as a must start running back probably in the 30s, right? 62%. Okay, so people treated him a little bit higher than that. So that's a disappointing performance. We'll see what happens moving forward where his start percentage will lie, especially with two teams now want to buy more interest. Okay, and let's get to the bears because the bears are actually pretty interesting. The distribution of targets was, you know, a little bit different today. We had Romo Dunze, a big part of the offense. Beijing through 34 passes. You had Odunze getting seven targets, 94 yards. You had Klee Freeman getting two targets, six yards. Luther Burton, six targets, 63 yards. Lovelin, nine targets, 57 yards. And the second weekend row kind of almost had a touchdown. He was targeted at the goal line. So his role, you know, was much better today, Colson Lovelin. Can we make sense of anything? It's just going to be kind of a week by week thing with them. It seems that way. I did not think that Beijing played very well in large stretches of this game. He probably could have had four interceptions. Thank you. That's what I thought too. And I saw the numbers and it's like my crazy here. Yeah. Thank you. No, it's, that's what I thought. It was nice to see that Romo Dunze is not droppable. But yeah, it's frustrating because you can't go into, I mean, I guess if Menongue is out, then it's pretty easy to go in saying Swift is a must start. If Menongue is trying to play through something, then it's just a disaster all the way around. And everybody's just like they have the upside to be a top 12 option at their position. And they have the downside to be a single digit score. Okay. You got to drop Kaleigh Freeman. Or should we hold on to him another week? Well, you think you probably should answer that question. Well, when you invest as much as I did. You hold it on another week. The only thing I had in Kaleigh Freeman was the one that you bid on him. So, yeah, you're welcome. Okay. Let's go to the late game. San Francisco 24, Denver 14. And Bonyx still not really running. Only 10 rushing yards for Bonyx scored 16.2 fantasy points. I can't imagine people want to ever start J. K. Dobbins. He was 25% started. But RJ Harvey, 16% started. I have trouble with guys who are so running backs who are just entirely dependent on catches. But he has 16 catches his last two games, Jamie. RJ Harvey, is he a thing? Or is he just a, I'm desperate. I'm going to throw RJ Harvey in. Oh, I think he's a thing. You know, again, we have two teams on a buy in a bunch of injuries. So, you know, whether he's a starting running back or a flex, you got to start to look at him as, you know, the more productive Denver running back. And if you, you know, go back to the start of what Alvin Camaro was in his rookie season, like this is how it began. You know, so maybe we're starting to see a little bit of that. I know it's a second year. And you know what he was as a rusher. And then we'll see what happens when, you know, Donald Coleman eventually comes back. But he just looks so much more explosive than Dobbins. It's hard to keep him off the field. So, this is looking like anybody that got the discounted price on draft day when he started just the plummet. You might be reaping the rewards of it a little bit right now, but they're just can't run the ball. I think just as a team. So if they're going to be stuck in these situations and their defense hasn't been as dominant. So they're chasing points a little bit. That's going to benefit RJ Harvey as well. So not a must start running back, but certainly in the flex conversation, whether you're talking about replacing a wide receiver or potentially whatever running back situation you might be in. Adam, did you see the passing chart I sent you for bonics today? Yeah. That was great. Like everything was at the line of scrimmage. Very few passes were even like more than seven yards downfield. It was crazy. It's also been a disappointment I think from the standpoint, at least today, San Francisco's defense aligns a mess, you know, in the fact that they couldn't run on this team. I said you the the noon show. Like I wondered if they were going to have an opportunity here. Like we saw last week against the 49ers and just they didn't even play JK Dobbins early in the game. It was a little weird. And Waddle did get the touchdown five catchers 35 yards and a touchdown. Evans had a good game. Cirtan left around half time. I wasn't watching. I didn't see if Cirtan was shadowing Evans. But he was not killed a little bit. Well, yeah. At one point he was on kill. He was not on. Evans caught a pass on the play. Cirtan got hurt and Cirtan was not on and said he was on a different receiver. I think Evans was in the slot on that play, but you're absolutely right about that. Anyway, would you rather Evans or Waddle rest of season? Still Waddle. Waddle. Still Waddle. He had a bad job too. Okay. Yeah. The Niners, I mean, like Debo Samuel, zero targets last week, six targets this week. I don't I don't really. He just continues to produce in the funniest way possible. Three carries for 44 yards in this game also. Kittle is another guy. Kittle has two games with four catches for 60 or 70 for 70 or 80 yards in a touchdown. Yeah. This is George Kittle. Have you met him? I mean, a little bit, but the target volume's not really that good. All right. He's had 85 target seasons where he was the tight end too. Minnesota 15 Miami 10. And another time a possession game. Minnesota had the ball from more than 39 minutes of this game. What are we thinking about Allie Gordon? I think we he deserves a little more talk here. David, we did briefly mention it, but I mean, would you try to sell high on Allie Gordon, ride it out? Sure. I wouldn't I wouldn't expect him to average 11.1 yards per carry. Is he going to be Miami's best running back? Sure. Is he going to do this? No. So it's it's amazing how fantasy works and how the NFL works where he currently has the best game for fantasy of a dolphins running back this season. And it came against the Vikings of all teams in a one score game where the dolphins were in and in the fourth quarter. So it's it's crazy how things work, but I don't I don't know how much he can necessarily build on it. He's been like around three yards per carry. Sometimes even lower than that in his short time in the NFL. I just think he got, you know, a great 53 yard run had a couple of other good runs scored the short yardage such as a 12 yard touchdown. I guess I can say a short yardage. Is he is he startable? Yeah. I think he's startable. Am I going to buy into it and say like he's going to be a must start fantasy running back? I feel like I need to see more before I say that. Okay. I like how our producer is a Vikings fan. And I don't know if there's a graphic where it's just all the majority four out of five is what good good Jordan Addison on there and put Malik Washington on there. I fear there's nobody else. Nobody's starting. Oh, you're not starting any dolphins, right? Everybody started. I don't know. Yeah, no, but I just wanted to show how bad Kyla Murray was. You were right to do it. No, no, no, no. I had an entire bears full screen. If you didn't notice, I didn't have a single jet on there. Oh, I didn't notice. I didn't know. Yeah, I didn't know exactly. Oh, NFC North bias. That's true. I think it's unfortunate that Addison had the big game last week. Hawkins in the big game this week. But I just feel like when Jefferson comes back, it's it's going to be Jefferson. Yeah. Right. But Jefferson. Jefferson playing in New Orleans next week is going to be big. I think I'm going to regret not drafting Justin Jefferson. Kansas City. Yeah. I don't think I don't think either looks very good. I don't know about that. He doesn't, but unless Carson wins gets in there, they're going to design so much stuff for him. And like if TJ Hawkins and going to have a game like this and Jordan Addison and have a game like he had last week, I think you know what? Tyler might just trip over himself or something. Well, then Carson went so good in there. Kansas City 30 last Vegas 27. Kenneth Walker was having a somewhat quiet day until the very end of the third quarter. He ends up with a he scored more than 21 fantasy points in every game so far. The season massive day for him. Xavier Worthy at seven targets. What's going on with Kelsey Heath? This is for Kelsey for targets. He had two targets last week. So kind of ugly and did not get the touchdown this week horrible game for Kelsey. Yeah. He probably lost five points on a tipped pass. He had a target over the middle of the field where they just forgot to cover him, but then it got batted down by a linebacker. It's it's discouraging, especially with rice going out and his involvement still being so low. It's strange because when he's gotten the ball in his hands, he's done incredible things. I think I'd probably say the same thing I said about Concade. Did you kind of like just have to put him in that tight end 12-ish range? What do you guys think about it? It's Kelsey's birthday tomorrow. Yeah. What do you guys make up his Michael mayor game? 11% rostered. 1% started 82 yards on 10 targets. He also caught a touchdown last week. I don't think they have a number two, the number two option in the passing game that's consistent. So Trey Tucker is the most logical receiver, but that doesn't mean that he's going to be the most targeted or the second most targeted player in the passing game. So I don't think you could trust mayor to be a consistent fantasy option, but again, as we go into bi-weeks and you start to say, I probably would still trust Dalton Schultz, but Hunter Henry and Sadeek and Darren Waller, depending on what happens tonight, those type of guys, I think mayor belongs in the conversation with them. He plays a ton and they run two tight end three tight end sets a lot. They did today for sure. I agree. They must argue that Brock Bowers is almost the wide receiver. Yes, well, that's true. That's kind of the way that they, I think when they paid mayor, that was kind of the report that mayor is their inline tight end and Bowers is more of their receiving option, just plays like a receiver. Okay, a couple more games here. Actually, I'm sorry, skip the radio. Anything to say about genty? Yes, they started this game out and I think the first eight carries five of them went to Mike Washington and the broadcast was talking a lot. about how Kubiak had said throughout the week, Mike Washington had earned more work. And those Mike Washington carriers didn't go very well. And so we saw more Ashton Gentie from that point forward. I think the biggest thing is like sometimes he's the number two option in the passing game behind Brock Bowers. And as long as he has that role, a little bit of a split with Washington who's probably going to be a home run hitter who strikes out three times a game. It's okay. Gentie's target per out run rate in four games because he had a lot of catches today, but Kirk cousins through about 50 passes. His target per out run rate was 21% and 24% without Bowers. And then it went down to 10% in week three, back up to 17%, which definitely can live with that. You're not going to get the six catches every week, because again, a lot of pass of times. But 10% would be a little low. 17% would be pretty good for Gentie. Chargers at Seahawks here. And this was end up being a close game, seven point game, I think, didn't put the stupid score in. Were any of the chargers tucked down in 23 technically garbage time or because they got it back within seven, it was never garbage time. Well, it was 27 to six in the third quarter when Vidal caught a pass for a touchdown. Yeah. Let's talk about the running backs for the chargers. You had nine carries. I'm really pissed off that Hampton had had a decent game. Hampton, Keaton Mitchell, I already pissed off that he had a decent game because I was so intent. I told everyone to sit him and I sat him for Cleef Raymond, and I also sat him for Manuel Wilson. I sat him for Manuel Wilson at all. Well, the whole thing was great. But the thing is like the theory was right. It was a terrible matchup. He ended up in a three way time share here. He had nine carries and he gets a late touchdown. It is absurd. Technically, he was third on the team and running back snap share. This was not a good game for Amari and Hampton. I think that's the thing here. It was also not a good game for Cleef Raymond. It is the way he said that was so funny. Why would I say? Because I sat him for Cleef Raymond. Yeah, it was a mistake. It was a mistake. Didn't work out. And it went a worked out even if Hampton didn't score the late touchdown. He did have a number. Like last week, he had one nice run where he created yards. This week, he had more than once. That was good. So good for him. But the chargers liked this three headed backfield. And Carboss said as much after the game, Videl actually started the game and he played a lot on passing downs. I don't know. I don't think you can feel great about any chargers running back. And you sure as hell can't look at Amari and Hampton and say, oh yeah, that's a top 15 fantasy room. There's just no way. And the offensive line continues to be a mess. The whole team continues to be a mess. Two of the worst interceptions you'll ever see were thrown by Justin Herbert today. I think Herbert does deserve credit by the way for taking a big shot to his ribs and staying in the game. So he might not be able to read safeties and linebackers. But he sure is tough. We reached the point of Dave literally wanting to give Justin Herbert a participation trophy. Credit for participating. Well, I mean, he can't participate in fantasy lineups. So at least we can give him credit for participating in the NFL. What are some of the worst interceptions you've ever seen? James Winston. Max Brawzmer against the CEO. Max Brawzmer is one. But how about Justin Herbert, like literally throwing it to a linebacker? He didn't move. Didn't move. The linebacker shouldn't it was that Ernest Jones. He had no business being there. That was not nice. He's in the first way of the game was an interception. There have been so many confounding interceptions from a guy who's supposed to be like a super tier franchise QB. And he's making reads that like even like a competent high school quarterback would not make. Okay. Well, we'll get him Jeremiah Smith. There you go. Well, that is it for tonight's show. The Seahawks are the Seahawks, by the way, we talked about Amanda Wilson and bad game by his standards for Jackson Smith and Jig, but he has no Zay flowers. I mean, JSN or ZSN rest of season. JSN. JSN. JSN. JSN. When do the chargers get a win? Next year? No, next year. Denver next week, they could, they could beat Denver. Denver's defense has what the world makes you think that because they might be able to hold them to field goals. Yeah, Denver. Neither of these teams can run the ball really well. You consider like winning a game of win or like when they fire in Miami Daniel win. Well, Denver's are next best chance because then it's the chiefs, a buy, and then the Rams. I'm telling you, based on what Heath has done, they're going to go two and all against the chiefs and lose to everybody else. That's fine. Perfectly fine. Chiefs go 15 and two. Chargers go two and 15. It's fine. Oh man. We catered. They're at Denver. Someone sent me a text with a graphic that said this is the first time the giants have been in first place in the NFC East since 2015. That can't be right. That can do you know. They're going to be the current first place teams. Maybe this latest season. Yeah, who are they? One of this. Okay. Current first place teams. The giants, the undefeated Vikings, the Panthers, Saints, and Falcons are all tied for first, but the Panthers are winning right now. So I think they're technically in first. Play to morning. The undefeated 49ers, not the Rams or Seahooks, and then the Bills, the Browns, the Jags. Wait, aren't the Browns tied for first? I guess they're tied with the right Baltimore. Yeah. Okay. But the Browns are listed in first. So I they must have strength the schedule. And then the only undefeated team in the NFC. The chiefs. If only their defense were as good as Jacksonville's. That's true. All right. Denver's tough. When the chiefs have to play them, I'm sure it'll be harder. Denver without you. So Denver Chargers next week could be Denver without their two cornerbacks and the Chargers without their two tackles. That'll be interesting. And the rest of their offense.
