Week 4 Rankings Discussion & Players You NEED to Know | Fantasy Focus

The episode offers a detailed fantasy football ranking and analysis focused on quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends. Josh Allen remains the top quarterback, with Lamar Jackson, Bryce Young, and Kyler Murray in the top tier. The Detroit Lions are heavily emphasized as one of the most fantasy-friendly teams due to their explosive offense and weak defense, allowing high-scoring games and consistent fantasy points. Jalen Hertz is downgraded from a top-tier QB to a low-end QB1 after underperforming against strong defenses, while Jamir Gibbs is seen as a breakout RB1 candidate due to his high volume of touches and a favorable matchup. Ashden Gentee and Jeremiah Love are projected as solid RB2s with opportunities in upcoming games. Rashi Rice is highlighted as a rising wide receiver with increased targets and usage, especially against the Raiders, who allow a high number of fantasy points to receivers. The team also analyzes tight ends, with Brock Bowers emerging as a top-tier asset due to his performance and impact, and multiple tight ends scoring touchdowns against the Lions. A fantasy face-off is held between Kyler Murray and the Miami Dolphins, with the hosts arguing that Miami’s poor defense makes it a top matchup. The episode concludes with a strong emphasis on matchup analysis, player usage, and injury concerns, providing comprehensive guidance for fantasy league strategy.

♪ Fantasy, you and the old six don't wanna know ♪ ♪ Focus, fantasy, fantasy, focus ♪ - What's up friends, welcome into fantasy, focus, football alongside my clay and fuel. Yates, sorry about that, Mike, I just yelled. - That nice pleasant music comes on, and then you start screaming at me. - I know, it's not my fault. - Good or not, it's me up. - What? - You guys are well aware? - Three children? - Yep, my middle child is every day the tone center, she wakes up earliest. - Yep. - The problem is my middle is still in a crib, my oldest is not. - Anyway, this is good. - So my middle, in order to let everybody know that she's away, he has to make some noise. She has a monitor in her room, and I've told her, the monitor is right next to your bed, and I have the monitor feed on my phone right next to my bed. - Okay. - So all you gotta do when you wake up in the morning is just go, "Daddy, daddy." - It doesn't do that, does she feel it? - Instead, she pretends like no monitors exist, whatsoever, and our bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, of the top floor, and she screams atop of her lungs, waking up her big sister, and oftentimes, her little sister. - Gosh. - At least that's not to like, probably 8, 8, 30, right? - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely late in the day. - Yeah, like, it's probably 8 or 8, 30, in like the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, but more like, you know, six or six, 30, in the eight household. - Oh, I feel, did you have an energy bar this morning? - I did. So I think we should do a poll and see who has the toughest recovery this week, right? Okay. Daniel dropped dealing with his leg hair and recovered, I think that may have hurt more than my procedure. - I'm not kidding. - So frustrating. - Which is wild. - You're of course dealing with your procedure. - Yeah. - And I'm a little tired today. - Okay. - Wow. - I think we should see who has the tough. Who is the toughest recovery today? I think we should do a poll on the chat to see what people think. - Let's dive into our week's tough rankings. - Up to any projections. - Yeah. - It's a lot of like this. Like type, happen. - Is that going in? - The keyboard and stuff. - Yes. - I know. - You know, that's a lot of work. Shout out to everybody, Eric Moody, who's always hanging out and chatting, holding it down. Here are our top rankings at the quarterback spot. Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Tyler Schuck and Bryce Young are your top five. Six through 10. Is Brock Perty, Trevor Lawrence, Kyler Murray, Joe Burrow, and Jaylen Hertz. Feel Jay's I'd like to call on you. - Yeah. We're going to talk about three names specifically in just a moment. We all agree that other than Josh Allen, being the quarterback God, not a lot about quarterback has gone according to the script so far this year. - Correct. - The idea was at least in my opinion, the idea was like Lamar Jackson, versus Jaden Daniels, versus Jaylen Hertz, versus Joe Burrow. I want a few other names right there in that top tier. They're all kind of close. And rather than arguing over whether Lamar should be ahead of Jaden Daniels or Jaylen Hertz, the bigger point was like, they're so close that you might see Jaylen be the second drafted quarterback. You might see Lamar, but who cares, right? Instead, the answer is that it's Josh. And then it's everybody else. And we've had some new names that have entered the chat. Like if I were to ask you guys just without thinking about it too much, Josh Allen is off the board. Who's the quarterback you want most rest of season? Who's your answer go? - Probably Lamar Jackson. - Yeah, Lamar Jackson. - Okay, yeah. And then number two, beyond Lamar? - Pass. - All right. So I don't think that there is a definitive number three quarterback that I've seen through three weeks that I can say that's who I would want rest of season. - And I'm not sure that Lamar has run away with being QB2, right? I mean, he's not QB2 in terms of scoring so far. - No, it's that he's done well enough. And I know the skill set that he has. The other guys that are in that conversation have they played a little above their skis or is this like you're talking about? Is this a new group of guys to be in there? Maybe Brock Purdy? - Yeah, that's what I was saying. Patrick, the home has been awesome. Like there's some names that have entered the chat. Anyways, that's my big takeaway on quarterback so far. Is that those rankings look weird compared to where we were preseason? - Yeah. - You might have just get used to that. Matchups matter so much. - And by the way, there was a lot of, oh, man, we should have taken Alan way earlier after week two. I mean, he was QB19 and week three. So we'll see if he actually is at that level. And he maybe, I mean, we projected him well ahead of all the other quarterbacks. We ranked him ahead of all of their quarterbacks as well. But the level he was at after two weeks that thought was, maybe actually was worth the replacement cost, the premium of where you would have had to take him. We'll see. I mean, back to QB19, back to Earth. He's only 13 points at a Brock Purdy, who you took substantially later in draft. So we'll see how that aspect of it pans out. - I want to start with you, Mike, because Bryce Young has as high as he has ever been in our fantasy rankings. Coming off of a down week unfortunately against Cleveland, but he is getting a great match up this week. - Yeah, he is. You mentioned back to Earth last week. 13.6 fantasy points, which at some points of his career did I take that? - Yeah. - He's seen from Bryce. So it had 291 passing yards in that game. He actually leads the NFL in both passing yards and expected passing touchdowns. So he's getting the passing volume. He's getting opportunities near the goal line to throw the football. That's huge. I remember weeks one and two. I mean, I want to say a good match up against Chicago, although they've been better lately. But either way, three passing touchdowns against Sam 3 against Atlanta as well. If there's a little bit of a red flag here and him sustaining QB1 numbers, it's the rushing. He has three carries for 16 yards so far. Did score a rushing touchdown, which helped, but he didn't do a lot of that last year. So we'll see, of course, two-year point. Why is he ranked QB3? QB5? QB3 by us this week. Daniel, avert your ears. - I don't like it, guys. - They're playing your Detroit lines. They've led the most passing yards and fantasy points to quarterbacks. So far as well as nine touchdowns already. They've played Josh Allen. Geno Smith and Tyler Schuck. They have all put up at least 23 points against his defense. Bryce is in a great spot. He's playing well. Great matchup. Lots to love here. I couldn't agree more. I'm going to save too many thoughts because I have another panther that will come up in our rankings conversation in just a little bit. Do you expect at some point your Lions defense is going to show up or if you just kind of succumb to the idea that, all right, we are going to score 30 plus in almost every game. We are also going to allow 30 plus in almost every game. I think more of that one. Okay. Yeah. I mean, where are the answers? Right? It doesn't sound like Kirby Joseph is anywhere close. I was going to say the answers are getting the two safeties back. Brian Branch and Kirby Joseph. And without that happening, we've got a huge hole at the number two cornerback spot. Then Campbell won't even confirm that Kirby Joseph is going to play again this year. I know. Like he's stopping short of that. I know that we don't talk a lot of defense here. But we're talking about how exploitable the Lions are. And Brian Branch at some point sounds like he will be back. But a defensive back coming off of the Achilles tear isn't the same as Brian Branch. And his peak. So this is why the Detroit Lions honestly are the most fantasy friendly team in all of football because their offense scores so many points. They have so many superstars. And their defense is so bad that it allows the other teams offense to score so many points. And then it's just a shootout, a barrage of passing back and forth. Like they are the most fantasy friendly team in the not offense, just like team in the NFL. I feel like the only way that one of their games does not go this way is if and they play obviously in a dome. So this and they play in a division with another dome team. Maybe they'll play a monsoon game or something. Whether. Yeah. Like other than that, I can't imagine a Lions game not being extremely high school. Yeah. They're similar to Dallas last year. You have to wonder with their light schedule and their good offense and their window open. There's a plenty of opportunity in the NBA and the NFC. I wonder if they're like Dallas at the trade deadline and try to make some defensive acquisitions. They might have to because if they're like, hey, we've shot this year with this slate. And what potentially win the conference? They need the winners are losing a lot of games because Max Crosby. Cosby. Yeah. We're aligned on Bryce Young. Who's your pick for quarterback Daniel? I'm out on Jalen Hertz. This week, my friends. Yeah. Jalen Hertz has been really difficult picking on each other here. Yeah. A little bit. And this is about you, Michael. But back to back weeks finishing outside the top 15 at quarterback. Guys checking the Charlotte. And that was against the Titans and the Bears. Those aren't like defenses that we thought was going to make him be this far down the line. His rushing upside just is not the same as it was. was last year that has basically disappeared. The loss of AJ Brown, even though he has a true wide receiver one in Devonte Smith, I think the loss of AJ Brown is just another weapon that hasn't given him a passing outlet, even though we've seen a little bit over the time over here. And the Rams, this is just a tough defense. Regardless of what they have done, they have given up over 20 fantasy points to quarterbacks in two of the last three weeks. But I'm just expecting a much tougher outing for jail and hurts in this one. He's not the guy that we thought he was coming into the season similar to that Saquon Barclay conversation. I don't really think he's a tier one guy right now. I think he's more like a high end tier two quarterbacks, still a low end QB one, but this week he's very low end QB one. Yeah, he's close. I mean, he has 16 carries 87 yards in one test down on the ground. That was like Josh Allen's week two. Yeah, pretty much. I mean, I think he had 16 carries and week two. Yeah. I mean, look, the offense struggle last year, his rushing was rolled back from about 150 carries to about 105 last year. And he was QB eight in fantasy points per game. Now it's the offense doesn't look much better, maybe week one, but not not since then. And he's running perhaps even less. And they lost. You might not be a QB one much longer. Yeah, he might be like Mariotta or Kyler Murray level at this point. So they have to get it going. They have to figure out a move. But the schedule is easy. Much like Detroit's going forward. That helps for sure. But the offense needs to be more efficient. And he has had a little bit more with his life. Do you guys know where you have them ranked this week against the Rams quarterback 11 for me. You have him 11. I am back as well. 11. Yeah. Okay. By the way, I think that week one might actually might actually be painting like a slightly rosier picture for where Jalen hers is at right now compared to where it was definitely that game against Washington. He had one passing touchdown to the fourth quarter. He got two in the in those count, obviously, right? But like it was a slog for three quarters there week two, they win a game against Tennessee that was far closer than we anticipated. And this past week, he lays an egg. He does have a rushing touchdown against the Bears, but otherwise an unforgettable night. This the entire Eagles offense has my concerns. Yeah. Right. I mean, ultimately they have taken clubs out of the bag of both Jalen Hertz and Saquon Barkley to be elite fantasy weapons. Yeah. They can coexist together. But the truth is that Saquon in a different offense, not playing with Jalen Hertz is probably a more valuable player. I don't think that Jalen his value is determined by Saquon's presence one way or the other. But Saquon Jalen not being able to run nearly as much. And that could be an age thing, right? He's getting old, but he is, you know, he's what eight years into his career now. Like at some point, you have to be mindful of the wear and tear, even of the most durable, steady quarterbacks like Jalen Hertz is an absolute freight train. But yeah, we may have seen the sunset on Jalen Hertz being a top three to four fantasy quarterback. He's an amazing real life quarterback. Yes. But if fantasy quarterback might be a different conversation. Push push really elevated him for a while. And that's not where it's at now. But if you remember in history, like that's just not going to be the Jalen Hertz. By the way, your golf metaphor. I was just going to say that point. Thank you. I was waiting for my opportunity. We've been making a lot of different sport references. I like that one. Well, that was out of the bag. That's like a pretty common golf man. Oh, yeah. Mike and I, that's not, I mean, that was a good one. I like it. The Tiger Woods of ESPN. Surprise. He even heard it. That's a good way to pounce on that. But he just kept talking. Come on, man. My quarterback pick is a name that Mike. Oh, Ed, why don't you talk some more? Yeah, just mention sorry. Do you have more say? No, no, no, no, no, it's just because Mike. You mentioned his name, Mike. Kyle Murray. I think this is this one of the second straight week I've brought up as a topic. Last week, it was like, can we resurrect Kyle Murray as a fantasy starter? The bucks Vikings, excuse me, who played the bucks last week. Have three straight games under 250 yards of total offense. If Kyle Murray does not get the job done this weekend, then we might be kicking him to the curb is a fantasy asset, much less an elite fantasy quarterback. The reason, of course, they play them with the Miami dolphins. Miami, actually, if you look at some of the fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks passing yards to quarterbacks, not terrible. It's just that teams don't really need to throw the football that much against Miami. But check this out. When they do, the dolphins defensively have accounted for a total of zero sacks. The only team in the NFL without a single sack this year quarterbacks have plenty of time. What is time generally lead to better accuracy? Opposing quarterbacks are completing 80.3% of their passes against the dolphins defense right now. They are the best quarterback in NFL history when facing off against this dolphin defense through three weeks. They are allowing dolphins are 9.1 yards per attempt so far. That is the second worst in the NFL. Only the cardinals are worse. Miami's defense is so bad and so generous. How bad is are they feels? I mean, that's they make teams. They make opposing quarterbacks. Exactly. They're bad. No, that's a joke. Oh, you're like, they're so bad. And I was like, how bad are they feel so bad? No, okay. I don't know. I landed flat. So bad that I. It's like a Yomama joke. But we don't have a good, we don't have a good. All right. And then I do have your thought. He's a metaphor guy today. Yeah. The clubs in the bag of the dolphins defense. They're none of them. The defense is terrible. Kyler Murray. If not now, never, right? So if Kyler can't perform at a high level this week, then we can just kiss the Kyler Murray as a quarterback starter experiments goodbye. And we'll pivot to other names that were drafted outside the top 10 as either streaming options or guys that could fill your roster spot for four to six weeks. I have some Kyler thoughts, but I'm going to save them for a little later in the show and Mike and I maybe go back and force a little bit. We do the same questions, though, before we move on from our chat about the quarterback position this week. And our first question we have from our YouTube chat comes from the wonderful Christina bus well. Hey, you know, Smith over Drake May may continue to burn me, but can I really trust Gino? By the way, this is against you. Yeah, here's the thing. She's playing me in the show league this week, guys. So I think she should play Drake May. What about you? Gino over May. I would play Gino over Drake May. Gino against Chicago. It's close. I've got Drake May. Honestly, it's so close. I don't know who I have ranked as a field. Still not didn't land. All right, I'm not going to get guys. That's I don't get it. I'm completely flummin. I don't know. I do a May ahead by a little bit. Okay. There we go. David. I got May ahead of Gino Smith. So my answer is straight. I don't feel great about either, but just what it is. Press got or Bryce Young this week, guys. Come on. This is right. Young. We just talked about. Yeah. So it's not even closer. Gotta go Bryce Young is the matchup. Mr. ANC Marriota or Kyler Murray guys. Man, it's crazy because like who do you have more confidence in playing well this weekend? Marcus Marriota. And who do you have more confidence in the matchup in this week? I'm right. Yeah. But it's it's close. It's really. It's not like the culture any good defensively. Yeah. Um, yeah, I'm going to go. Marriota is overseas too. I've got Kyler Murray ranked ahead of him. Me too. Just so sure. I'll take Kyler. Yeah. I got him at six. All right. Let's talk about some running backs. My friends running backs here in week four. The top 20 starts with Jamir Gibbs, the John Robinson Ken Walker, the third John and the Taylor Derek Henry, CMC, Ashton Gentie and James Cook, as well as Chase Brown, Chuba Hubbard, Jeremiah Love, Bucky Irving, Aaron Jones, taking on Miami, Stakewan Barkley, Cam Skataba around Skataboo rounds out the top 15. Javonte Williams, Jalen Warren, Kyron Williams, Deandre Swift and David Mont Gummery. Like a top 20. Are we talking about Warren here? I know. If you didn't do it, I just pulled out Rico Dattled this morning. So Warren moves up to, I believe, I have them at nine. Jalen, yeah, they played out all was a non-participant in their estimated workout yesterday. Yeah. He was out there with his teammate, but was estimated as a non-participant. I don't think any of us are talking about him, but we will talk about it tomorrow. I just want to say really quickly, I want to talk about Jamir Gibbs. Is there a way we can throw that panel back up on the screen? Can we see really quickly like the, just the top running backs again so that we can see what what Jamir Gibbs projection is? His projection is 26.18. Yeah, too low probably based on what we've seen. But John Robinson's is 21.5, almost a full five points lower. Wow. He is averaging Jamir Gibbs, 32.8 fantasy points per game. He leads the NFL with 27.6 touches per game on an offense that's scoring 30 points every single game. 26.18 is a massive number. And also it might not be high enough. Mike, honestly, with the way that they are utilizing him, this guy really is getting the ball almost 30 times a game. Yeah, you asked Mike yesterday if he had any like historical data points about this projection. And you said you didn't know I don't recall exactly, but I think it's very high peak Christian McCaffrey was probably and was certainly in this vicinity. Some weeks when the matchup was really good by 27 28 points. Yeah, Gibbs is on a heater right now to open the season with three top three finishes. He already has 19 points ahead of Ken Walker. Think about good Ken Walker's been so far. Score multiple touchdowns pretty much every game so far. If not every game, and he's, he has a 19 point edge on him. I mean, he's just crushing the competition. And a couple thing, again, we don't have to belabor Jamira Gibbs analysis for too long, but he has a couple of really important things going for him is maybe three. Actually, the defense is so bad that they're going to have to score points every single game. We talked about that just a moment ago on top of that, there's nobody. I mean, nobody behind him. Cioni Vockie and Jacob sailors, like there's no threat to Jamira Gibbs and Isaiah Pacheco. That could be a while, right? On top of that, this is a pressure cooker year for Dan Campbell. And ultimately, I think the coaching staff understands in a difference. I'm trying to think of like a coach like maybe maybe we've seen a little bit of this with Kyle Shanahan. He signed that extension like just before the season started. He's not going anywhere, right? So they aren't going to fail. they're already three and no, they look a very good team, but Kyle can play the long game a little bit more with the player like Christian McCaffrey that I feel like this lion staff, like maybe you say to themselves a couple of years ago, we're not just the toast of the NFC north, but like we're the team that has a chance to control the conference for the next three years. Feels a little bit different right now. They got to win this year. They got to win meaningfully and it ain't going to be because of their defense. So Jameer, not going. Five catches, six catches, seven catches in his three games this year, like he's just unbelievable. And he's the goal line back, like he's awesome. I just wanted to point out 26 points for projection. It's just huge. That's a massive number here, right? What about Ashden Gentee feel, Jates? Yeah. So the question that I have with Ashden Gentee is whether because when you looked at those projections, six players, north of 20 fantasy boys, which is a monster number, seventh with Ashden Gentee. And he was at 18 plus fantasy points. The question I have for Gentee going forward is whether he has a chance to jump into that elite RB one group or if he's going to settle into more of like a solid RB two after week one solid RB two or do you think an RB two maybe talk about this. Okay. He was obviously incredible in week one when they played the husk of the Miami Delft offense defense, right? Yep. You have to be encouraged by the utilization. He's six in the NFL and carries incredibly encouraged by the passing game utilization. Everything is good on paper, right? You look at the number of opportunities he's getting. You look at the way they're using him. They're designing things. It's all awesome. One of my concerns coming into the season that I mentioned a few times was like, yeah, the offensive line is better. But how much better is it with Tyler Linderbaum is like the most meaningful outside contribution they drafted trade soon in the fourth round. But it wasn't like they added four new starters along the offensive line, right? Over the past two games playing not the Miami dolphins. Ashen genty has averaged 2.3 and 2.9 yards per carry. Now the chargers suck, but their defense, I think, is pretty good. The Saints, I don't think are some, you know, dominant defense that you're like under three yards per carry against New Orleans Saints. Yeah, that's what you expect. Like you don't expect that. So my question is if Ashen genty can't get that rushing utilization or that rushing efficiency. Yeah, he's 33rd in the NFL in yards per carry right now. Maybe he settles in to more like RB 12 as a post to RB six or seven. Yeah, interesting. And in this scenario where they're thinking, okay, the rushing efficiency isn't there. The adjustment here isn't to take him away from passing situations because Mike Washington Jr.'s game is, you know, he's obviously a height weight speed like superstar athlete. Yeah, they're going to use him as a runner. Like that's his game. He's not much of a pass catcher. So the adjustment would be fewer carries still should be involved in the passing. You can be right. He could settle in as the role is a really one. Yeah, the role. Now he has a lead. Yeah. But the schedule coming up so far definitely has all of our attention. Keep in mind that the Raiders three and all they deserve all the flowers. They are getting right now. The next eight weeks are going to be a bit of a reality check, including the next four games. Chiefs this weekend. That's very tough. The Patriots. The book is still out on the Patriots. Not good so far. They are good run defense though. The bills and the Rams. So I got my eyes sort of glued on this one here for action. Genting. It's going to be interesting. He only had three targets this last week with Brock Bowers back. He had a little bit more receiving game work the first two weeks without him. But the utility still enough that the passing game utilization is so good. It's three for 37. So these are like legit skimmed up. Let's get him in space versus last year where it was like, do you know it's about to get sacked? Let's, you know, flip the ball to action for a negative one yard catch. Do you guys feel like in this is not maybe not a. Once for the end of Mendoza potentially takes over, like quarterbacks all play differently. They all target differently. They all have their own safety valves. Like are we going to be talking about how this deep this offense might look different under for end of Mendoza than it is under court cousins with their the way that we utilize the running back in this backfield. They want to be more aggressive at the very least. I don't think it'll change that great question. Genting. Yeah, I think they want to run the offense through agenda. Yeah, in his hand. That's possible with you. All right. What about you? My love. Yes, speaking of a guy who we need a little more efficiency out of. It started great last week. He was average in about five and a half, six yards per carry for most of that game. I kind of fell off late in that game. But the big news was just they turned the backfield over to him. Yeah, week three after limiting him the first two games, which is again, something we saw coming considering how much of the offseason that he missed. But you look at the comps here very quickly. Weeks one and two. He played 43% of the snaps. That went up to 63% week three. Weeks one and two. He told 95 yards and one touchdown on 25 touches. Last week alone, 109 yards and a touchdown on 26 touches. We had more in week three in terms of touches than he did in weeks one and two combined. He also has been plenty involved in the passing game. He has at least three targets in every game so far this season. And here's the thing. This is going to be his best matchup so far. There's a big opportunity here. They're playing the giants. They're like 5.1 yards per carry to back so far this season. That's their highest. I've talked about how their schedule is pretty tough during the regular season and very easy during the fantasy playoffs, which is something that was very intriguing to me. But this is one of those good matchups. So big opportunity here for love. We got the volume last week. If he gets 20 touches again and the efficiency is better and he scores a touchdown again. I mean, he's going to be right in that RB1 mix every week. Giants this week. Lions next week. Yeah, back to back good ones and then it gets tougher again. So this is a big window here for Jeremiah Love. Yeah, the Lions, obviously, are a bigger question defending the past, but they haven't been a whole lot better defending the run so far this season. Yeah, this would be great. And I really, really hope that the first two weeks of the Cardinals playing at Tyler Algier as much as they did was not stubbornness but was truly just, hey, the guy's coming off of a high ankle spray. That's it. He had to be in smart, right? I hope it was. Yeah. I've not put anything past and if I'll go to the running bag. I know. So that's the hope and the hope is that what we saw on Sunday with all due respect at Tyler Algier is the new norm going forward. I love it though. Be smart with your young new asset. That's amazing. Let's take a couple of questions before we dive into why it is from our mailbag running back questions this week. Zachary wants to know Montgomery with Nico Collins healthy or Warren with no Rico. Yeah, Mike just mentioned. But right now, we'd say Rico is iffy at the very best for Thursday night. So definitely, Jill and Warren. Also, is there any indication that Nico Collins is playing this week? I don't think so. I think that's more a question of if he plays this week. I think there is a big without Nico Collins that offense isn't doing anything. I don't really want to play David Montgomery unless Nico can be a part of it because that offense can't be unlocked without Nico. Yeah, I'm going to go with Jalen Warren. I'm with you. Yeah. Nico doesn't really affect my Montgomery evaluation anyway. It might maybe it improves the idea. But it's closer to the end zone. Yeah, that's that's not enough. But not enough to not super material. But yes, Warren is I'd say a fringe Harvey one. So he's the guy here. Love that. All right. Another question here from our YouTube chat Derek Bruce wants to know Hampton or burden in the flex O'Marion Hampton want this one Daniel or Luther burden. Well, I loved O'Marion Hampton coming into the season Mike. Mike loved the Luther burden coming into the season. I won't go that far. I mean, I did like them the final few weeks of the offseason when his ADP came back to earth. You hated Luther burden. I did until the last few weeks of the offseason when his ADP came back to earth. I would go drafted by a couple of times late. My answers are Mario. I would probably still go with the running back that's going to touch the ball a bunch. I may do no burden burden. Hey, heavily utilized last week, playing well. I mean, he's quietly been okay so far. It just seems like it's been a disaster there. But the premiere pass catcher, he's been fine and had a good game last week, good connection with case, Keenam. What a hampton. I'm very concerned about what it talks more about. It doesn't start this week. Yeah, what do you think? Do you think they've been talking about Tyson Beijing being the guy? Yeah, what had been Johnson say is like Beijing won the number two job over him. So there's a reason for that. I mean, yes, based off what happened on Monday night, the case kingdoms would mean the guy until he falls flat on his face or kill a Williams returns. If case Keenam is the guy, it does put more stock in the Luther burden basket for me. If it's Tyson Beijing, I would definitely go more. I don't know. I just don't have had the same structure. I don't think Johnson is telling us that Beijing is better than case Keenam. So often, Johnson's offense also put up three points in week two. So well, they also just crush the Eagles defense and they put up your right points in week one or whatever it was. I was that was the line. So that's a little bit of it. All right, let's dive into the wide receivers. Wide receivers here in week four. JSN Jamar Chase. I'm on Raw St. Brown, Pukin Akua. He's good. Chris Olave, Justin Jefferson, CD Lamb, Drake London, just superstars, man. Garrett Wilson, Zay Flowers, Nico Collins. If he plays Parker Washington, Devante Smith, Teterola McMillan, Rashi Rice, Devante Adams, that is a top 16 with Christian Watson, George Pickens, T Higgins, and Jalen Coker rounding out the top 20 guys. Big, big day for Pukin Akua today, by the way. We'll see whether he does practice for the Rams. I would say this. The reporting has indicated that Sean McVeyas flat out said, this sounds like there's a chance to play this weekend. Something about that situation is not passing a snuff smell test for me. Yep. I'm with you on that. Well, we'll figure out. We'll have a better picture of that after practice today. You'll don't want to ask you about Teterola McMillan last week. Jalen Coker kind of got banged up and feeling with some stuff. How are you feeling about both Teterola? I guess you could put both of them in there if you want to. Teterola and Jalen. Yeah. We'll keep an eye on Jalen Coker status. Sounds like he's probably iffy for Sunday night, but we will discuss that further based off practice information for the next three days. Have you guys heard this alliance really struggled defensively? Thanks, Phil. Do you know how many passing yards per game they're currently allowing? No, I don't. 700. Okay. Close. Okay. Close. Over 299. That's basically seven. It's the worst. If it holds up, it's the worst over the past decade. I mean, it's it's rare to see teams allow over 275. And they're at nearly 300 passing yards per game. - Mm-hmm. - Sample size is small, obviously. A lot of football to go, but not a lot of reasons for our optimism as we discussed earlier on. - We have a team that have won a Super Bowl that have allowed almost 300 passing yards of game. - Guess zero? - That's not good for my future then. - I'm gonna guess that. - Yeah, they've worked their nature. - They already benched a corner. - No, maybe that'll help. - Maybe that'll help. - Rock your scene benched. - Yeah. - Who could have seen that coming? - It's like the Packer's Offense of Line in the Lions cornerback room. You could have seen those two. - At least the Packers, though, are just signing all available offensive lineman on free, amazing overall. - Amazing frequency. Anyways, two wide receivers have already put up 26.7 or more fantasy points against this Lions team. That was Chris Hlaven, week one, Garrett Wilson. Last week, it's kind of funny how Josh Allen put up over 40 against the Bills. And there was no wide receive, ready even 12 fantasy points. Dalton's on a big day. - Yes. - Josh Allen had a big day himself. It was kind of a sort of divvy it up. It was again that Eugene Moore got hurt. So wide receivers can have themselves. Yes, sorry. Can have until the day against the Lions. So on Sunday night, I told you guys, I'm checking to see whether the Lions will ever play in a bad weather day. I went and opened up the app. Charlotte, Saturday and Sunday is supposed to get a lot of rain. It's supposed to stop before kickoff. So it looks like by the time kickoff is around, rain will be no issue. Which even if rain were prevalent for the game, I still would have a hard time not starting Tederome Mcmillan against Daniels Lions. He's my wide receiver 10 this week, which is where exactly where Daniel is and five spots ahead of him. - Yeah, I'm a hair lower. A lot of names in that vicinity. - Yeah. - And Jaylen Coker, if he is healthy, we have him as a top 20 option. - He'd be in the light. - All the things that you had talked about. - Bryson Tremaine, flagged that name as a possible. - Yeah, he's busy. - Anders pick for this week. - I get, Mike, what are you going with this one? - I'm gonna rush you rice. Going the right direction. You know, he just had to get me burned from the knock out league in week one and he started playing football. He tried though, he did score that one touchdown on one of his two targets in week one, but guys, he's another guy who missed a lot of time in the off season who's trending up over the first few weeks of the season. It seemed like there was intent there to not really use him on, he was on the field a lot but not target him the first couple of games. It was just like, why is he not the first read at all? That was especially the case in week one. Still found the end zone week two ramped up to four for 83 on six targets, but last week finally, even in a very low volume game. Seven for 88 on nine targets. He did a 39% target share against the dolphins. Career high usage this year. It's been snaps at 79% and route participation 75%. He's been around a while. On a per game basis, he's never hit numbers like that. So that's a good step forward for Rashi Rice and they're playing the Raiders. I will say this, they've allowed the third few as fantasy points to receivers. It's a little bit of a trap. They haven't allowed a touchdown to a receiver yet. They have a lot of five passing touchdowns. They just happen to, they haven't happened to go to a receiver that'll correct itself going forward. And even without a score, Chris Alave, 19.7 points against them last week. Caleb Douglas had 14.4 against them. So number ones have had decent success even without finding the end zone. So feeling really good about Rashi Rice. Not gonna get him into the wide receiver one mix just yet. I want to see it another week, but he is at least a very good wide receiver to at this point. And you know what doesn't seem like it's happening? Xavier Worthy. Oh my gosh. Yeah, they, he looked, he looked good week one. And, but again, I think that was just a factor of like, we're not using Rashi yet. And now it's kind of faded away a little bit. What was the line in week one? I still, you know, I feel like it's, I only have a little bit of his line in week one. Yeah. Xavier Worthy. Xavier Worthy. He was featured. I think he saw a lot of targets, right? They were, they seemed to be trying to utilize him a lot. Six targets. We catches for 18 yards. Yeah. So then it wasn't like the production wasn't there, but the effort to get him the football was there. Next week, seven targets, five catches, 25 yards in a touchdown. Yeah, I mean, only two targets. I was watching Rice very closely in that week one game because I had, I was in jeopardy of losing a knockout, right? So in the past, Rashi Rice had run them quick slants and stuff. They would do everything they can to get him the football. They were doing that with Worthy out of the game. And that game they weren't doing it with, right? So that was, that was the notable change. But again, that changed last week. And that's a good sign going forward. Do you guys, when you're talking about a player and his career, if a player does something in the, in the playoffs, you count that with like, remember last year, with a Matthew Golden in that score, a single touchdown as a rugby off game. Xavier Worthy, when it, when it, when appropriate, yes. Xavier Worthy has zero career, a hundred yard games. Unless you count the Super Bowl when he in garbage time. That's crazy. In garbage time, he, I was, I was partying in the bleachers at that point. I mean, that was, it was over. I mean, you were, I was like, hey, good, good for more than five sovy bees. Yeah. Oh, literally more than that. More than that. That was a, that was a tricky one because I was enjoying that. But also I had the, I was, I had the sore throat because I was getting the flu is, or not the flu. I was getting like whatever, an illness, a cold or some sort. So you know, it often starts with the sore throat. And I had that during that game. So I was, yeah, stepping straight and terrible. It was like, you know what? Honestly, like you're sitting there talking to your girlfriend. You're like, we just don't go to the game. Yeah, you know, Super Bowl, right? Like, maybe they'll play in the Hall of Fame game next year. We can go to that instead. No way. No way. That was, I was battling through that. It was, that was amazing. Yeah. Remember, uh, we're the score rate in front of us twice in the late in that game. But I didn't matter at that point. The game was way over with. Why don't you shout out to a little shout out to you, feel Jates. Oh, Christian Watson's been your guy to start the season. He's been really good for what is where, Russian, great volume, great volume. Both factors and wide receiver six and targets, 12th and receptions, fifth and receiving yards, third and receiving touchdowns. The running game doesn't work in Green Bay, which is great. If you have a Christian Watson guy on your roster, he's been fantastic from that perspective. It seems like it's going to be another condensed target tree. I'm assuming hasn't officially been ruled out, but we're very doubtful to see, trade and read this week. So it should be Matthew golden and Tucker craft, Tucker craft hasn't really materialized the way that we were thinking he may at the earlier parts of the season. So it's really just him and Matthew golden. They're taken on Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay just allowed 20 fantasy points to Denzel Boston, 20 fantasy points to Jordan Addison. The only team they haven't allowed 20 fantasy points to a wide receiver two is actually the Cincinnati Bengals with a total figure into against, but I think right now Christian Watson locked in as a wide receiver two with that volume and the way that that offense is playing, he is the guy that everything is running through. I know we've said this a million times about him, just got to stay healthy. And if he does, so probably as long as he's held 20 for wide receiver, the way Packers pass heaviest offense in the NFL, that's a little bit of, it's actually a lot a bit of game script. They do. I remember you talking about this. I was a little more hesitant on it based on Matlow floors track record, but they're calling the pass heaviest offense in the NFL and their game scripts have been very beneficial for the past. They've been trailing. They've had to throw a lot. So you've called past 73% of the time. That's easily number one in the league. It'll come down. But for now, as long as Josh Jacobs is out, it might not come down by a lot. Yeah. Kind of a mess. Let's go to our tight ends to wrap things up here. We're going to do a couple questions for us really quickly about wide receivers from our YouTube chat shout out to red alert 206 wants to know half point PPR. Josh Downs are scary Terry in the flex. Scary Terry. For sure. Great matchup. Scary Terry. Scary Terry. They're both as not his nickname. I keep them both. I'm on. I'm on downs. I have them very close, but I'm more optimistic than you guys on Josh down, just the volume you see in there. Remember, they're playing Washington. They've all had the most fantasy points to receive or so far. All right. Great goalie wants to know Dave Montgomery or Lad Maconkey in the flex. Montgomery for me. Lad tough matchup against Seattle. I don't love Seattle. That's a tough call. I'll lean towards Montgomery and hope he finds the end zone. That's what I'm doing to. Montgomery falls into the painted area. Last one here, Cody Squatch wants to know cooker or a coca or Boston. I'd be jailing coca. If he's healthy. Yeah, coca. If he's healthy, obviously, you have to pivot off of him. If he's not going to play with that, we agreed that one Sunday night. So that might be a tricky one. I think we'll have clarity. I hope. I'm sorry because the Browns played Thursday. All right. Yeah. So even think about that part of it. If there's a legitimate question mark, if we go DNP DNP for jail and coca, you played Denzel Boston. I think so. If we go, if there's any practice from jail and coca, Wednesday or Thursday, I'm going to jail and coca. Yeah. And keep an eye. I mean, if you could find a similar option. If it did. I mean, yeah. Yeah. You could. Darren Waller. That's what I mean. Maybe you could find another option too. Because remember, Boston is going up against the Steelers. I mean, that's a tough defense. So definitely you're definitely a chance of a dud there. That makes me a little nervous. Let's dive into some tight ends. Let's do it. Speaking of which top 10 tight ends, Trey McBride, Brock Bowers, George Kittle, Tyler Warren Travis Kelsey. That is the top five six through 10, Sam Laporta famously played college ball for the Atlanta Hawkeyes. Isaiah likely, Dalton Cade, Harold Fanny, Jr. and Johan Johnson. You say the Atlanta Hawkeyes? Oh, you got to read the news. Don't like just let's just keep moving on. Guys, let's talk about Brock Bowers. He looked great. Last week. That's my pick for tight end this week. Give it to me, Field. I, unlike you guys, have him as tight end one. Wow. It's embarrassing for you. Eric Moody as well has him as tight end one because he knows ball. Oh, wait, we must have Trey McBride as tight end one, is that what it is? Is he good? I don't. You want to do a board? He done anything the last couple of years? I don't. How many, what like level of wide receiver is off the table in a trade for Brock Bowers? Right now. That's me. I wouldn't trade for Chase. I wouldn't trade Chase for him. So no JSN, no Chase. I'm on wrong. I'm going to win. Yeah, I'd keep I'm on wrong. I get that position anymore. Yep. Once you get into the seed, Hookah. I'm Drake. I'm not trading Hookah for him. Yeah, probably the London tier is where. Okay. So we're getting my past CD-Lam and Justin Jefferson. I think right in that vicinity. Why do I receive it? Eat through 10 range, maybe? Yeah. All right. I don't really have any analysis on Brock Bowers. what we're choosing between 10 tight ends because I was busy yesterday for a little while. You guys picked two already. There's not much to say about Trayn McBride. I thought I would just take a moment to appreciate the ridiculousness that was Brock Bauer's issue and do a stock check of just like rest of season, how valuable he is. Not just compared to tight ends, but compared to other elite playmakers. And I think if you're a wide receiver, which he has been deployed as a wide receiver in that Las Vegas offense, he'd probably be somewhere between like wide receiver seven or eight. - I agree with you. - Amazing. - Yeah, let's just hope their defense is not legit and comes back to Earth a little 'cause we want those, they play for PME Stern every week and we love just watching Bauer just soak up second F target. Just keep them coming. - Amen, maybe. - Well, let's say that you've got Brock Bauer's and you were gonna consider, would you ever move him or at this point would you be like, I would only want to acquire Brock Bauer's? I mean, there's a world in which you snag Dolce and Kate off of waivers. - I was gonna say, what tight ends would you have to have on your roster behind Brock Bauer's to consider making a move? - I mean, look, if you, so would he be high enough for you? I mean, look, if you have Kate or one of those other guys and you can move Bauer's, someone will give you Jamar Chase or M. Anra or Jefferson or like, and you need a receiver? - Yeah. - And you've got to tight end. - I mean, you can certainly make the case. They're gonna be similar or better. - I would need someone better, I think than Harold Fanon, but I don't know, how do you feel about him this week? - Yeah, I actually thought you would start with him 'cause we were just talking about this game, but I'm sorry. - Yeah, you know, I'm sorry. - I'm starting with the guy that's ranked the highest and then moving up, I'm excited. - Yeah, Harold Fanon, terrific game last week. We needed that after a slow start, seven for 51 and two touchdowns on nine targets. Remember, he did that in week one, just 21 yards on three targets. Week two, a little better. - Five for 54 and that one in six targets. It felt like still not a tight end one yet. It's a little nervous, but then of course, exploded in week three. You know what's interesting about him is, this is a little surprising, but his snaps and route participation are a big time from last year. And he was outstanding. I felt like he was an out there every play last year. No, David and Joker was involved for half the season, but target shares actually up a little bit from last year as well. The key here is how well does the Sean Watson play? Can you keep this going? He's been tough match. - He was a brown tomorrow night. - Yeah, he was okay week one. He was played pretty well weeks two and three. And then, you know, this week is going to be huge. They're at home, but they're playing the Steelers to your point. We'll talk more about this one tomorrow. The Steelers didn't leave Micah Sikki open for a touchdown last week. So there is that, I guess, in his defense. For me, Fanon, a fringe tight end one. - Guys, I'm not talking about a tight end inside the top 10, but I do have him ranked as a top 10 tight end. - Okay. - And that is Darren Waller. - The baller. - It's interesting. That's an aggressive rank. I like it. - Yeah, it is. - You guys have him at tight end 24. - What? - I've got him at 10. I just want to throw up a full screen. I asked our production team to build, looking at what tight ends have done against the lion so far this year, and all kind of laid out to our audio listeners. Joanne Johnson, 14.2 fantasy points, score to touchdown. Noah Fant, 13.3 fantasy points, also in week one, also score to touchdown. Don't concave 22.5 in week two, score to touchdown. Dawson Knox, eight and a half, also in week two, also score to touchdown. Kenyan Siddyk, 23 and a half, score to touchdown in week three. Jeremy Ruckert, 14.9, also score to touchdown in week three. They have allowed five of these six tight ends on the screen to be top 10 in fantasy football in the weeks that they have played. - They've only played three games. - Correct. Joanne Johnson and Noah Fant, were both top 10 tight ends in fantasy, and Kenyan Siddyk and Jeremy Ruckert, were both top 10 tight ends in fantasy. - Obviously Dalton Cade was as well in week two. It's really amazing. Do you think there's like, what is behind this? Is it just randomness through three weeks? - That's a great question. - I mean, that's what six of the nine touchdowns? Is that right? - Six of the nine touchdowns. - That ratio is going to probably fix itself, but it's still-- - Is it there, man? - I mean, just have such poor safety play right now. - Nothing's safe out there. - I'm exclusively responsible for tight ends. We don't also have our linebackers aren't notably always great in coverage. You know, we don't always have the best linebackers from a coverage perspective I love, our lover guy in the middle. But yeah, allowing the most yards in the NFL, most receptions in the NFL and most touchdowns for gaming the NFL to the tight end. - I forget love this. This is a great, great stat by you. - Great, great ranking by you. - Yeah, this is interesting. It's also, I mean, Darren Waller did see a big jump in targets last week, but he's still, he's still only playing half the snap. So who touchdowns in week two? - I love top eight targets. - And eight targets, by the way, with no jail and poker in week three. By the way, so like-- - And poker's absence. - It's a cop. - That definitely helped. - So if he is going to be out this week, it would definitely boost him. And that's part of why I have him there. But even I guess, like if every single one of those touchdowns, or a tight end, scored a touchdown against the Detroit Lions, every single one of them that we had on this screen. So like I think Darren Waller is finding the end zone and maybe a spoiler alert for who I may pick for a long shot this week. - Ooh, not Waller, but well, now you're tipping your hand. - Well, if you guys want to go ahead and be bullies and take it from me. - I'm trembling about what you mean by that. - Wow! - Good job, Mike. - Press by you. - Mitchell Evans. - Good job, buddy. - Good job, buddy. - That's a mouthful of you. - So you just all pick a panthers. How many, do they have four on their roster? - They can be sure. - Everyone takes a panther style. - Mitchell Evans. - One of me tremble. - Let's see, let's see. - And we think they have a rookie, right? - Oh, they have five. - Yeah, 'cause they have. - Maybe they'll all score. - Maybe in Sanders. - He hasn't played yet, though. I'll Philippe Frank, who's the coordinator Frank. - Maybe he could throw while he plays. - He used to be a quarterback, so. - He's become a sweet, special team player. - Yeah. - All right, let's do our fantasy face-off. - Fantasy face-off. - Fantasy face-off. - That's right, guys. Fields, you're going to be the judge. Mike and I are going to bring two guys to the table. You're going to let us know. - Wow! - That's why you're in the middle. - I had to dress up for the courtroom for what it's worth. You guys are both in suits. - Judge Fields, G8s. - Do we have any images of you in a suit? - One time. - Oh. - I wore a suit when I officiated our buddy Damian Debrowski's wedding, when I pulled him. - That's right, yes. - That's really cool. - I think it's, you looked awesome in a suit. - Thank you, I appreciate that. I appreciate it. You know who else looks awesome. Kyle and Murray taking on the Miami Dolphins. We already talked about it a bunch, guys, but here's the deal. Mike would say why he would start the other guy Fields, you get to choose in between. Who would you choose in the fantasy face-off conversation? - Dig it. - I'm going with Kyle and Murray against the Miami Dolphins. You already laid out the conversation earlier. Actually, can I have your notes? I'll just read that again. - Sure. - Give him to him. You're helping him. No, this is great. This is fantastic. So Kyle and Murray. - That's a judge. - Miami's terrible. - Now he has zero sex this season. Did you guys know that? 80.3% of passes to be completed to them 9.1 yards allowed per attempt. Honestly, one of the things that I wanted to say that I didn't when you were given your analysis field, the other quarterbacks, not everyone has had huge games against Miami to be honest. But what those other teams have had are real running backs. It was the 49ers who had CMC. It was the chiefs who had Ken Walker the third. And it was the Raiders who had Ashton Gentee. I don't think that Aaron Jones is in that same level of running back. And so because of that, I still expect the Vikings to be doing quite a bit of offense in this one, which means if it's not coming from the running back like I did with the other three teams that played there, I just think that Kyler is going to get a little bit more than the other quarterbacks saw the previous three weeks. So that's why I am in on Kyler because of the matchup. And if I'm out, then I get burned by Kyler Murray. - Mr. Clay. - Yeah. I'm going to take this guy, Patrick Mahomes, if you heard of him, he seems like he's pretty good at football. Yeah. I'm going to roll with him. He's actually done something this season. And lastly, I mean, he was even better than him last season. Kyler Murray, last scored 19 fantasy points in a game in 2024. It's been that long since he's had a really good fantasy game. Mahomes was top 10 in the first two weeks of the season. Didn't have to throw much last week against the Miami Dolphins. So your quarterback is facing and the Dolphins have held two quarterbacks now under 16 fantasy points because teams do not have to throw the ball against him. So that's a concern with Murray, whereas Mahomes, you know what you're getting. He's been so productive, fifth and passing yards, fifth and passing touchdowns. Also as a rushing touchdown, they're playing the Raiders who will add 17 to Malik Willis. - Yep. - They'll add 24 to your guy, Tyler Schuck. - Yep. - I mean, why even mess around with Kyler Murray this week, it doesn't make sense. - I do want to say I, and maybe I might be wrong on this. I don't think the rushing that we saw in week one that touched down, like you take away as rushing touchdown. I know that's not the way fantasy works. He had 15 fantasy points. - Okay. Kyler Murray has two carries for 17 years. - I understand. - Week three, Patrick Mahomes, again, had 15 fantasy points when Patrick Mahomes isn't doing the rushing stuff that he did last season. He's an average fantasy quarterback. - He's top five and passing yards and touchdowns. I don't think it's going to sustain. - Very different approaches from the two of you. - I'm an emotional fantasy rancor. - I was in the courtroom as well, like you much more appeal to like, you know, the humanity side. Mike tries to bully his way into an argument win, and it worked. Patrick Mahomes is my pick. - It's hard. - How do you pick against Patrick Mahomes? - I mean, he's right over your shoulder, look at that imagery, like, how do you? - That is true. - All right. We'll go running back. I'll let you go first then, Mike. Maybe the problem is, I led with a bad argument. Maybe you can stumble, fumble off the top. - Yeah, this one's going to be a lot tighter for sure. - For the two players, we're going to be talking about. - Lucky Irving, I'm making the case for Bucky Irving. You're making the case for your guy, Chase Brown here. - I love what I've seen from Bucky so far. B is top 15 of running back and touches yards and fantasy points so far. Also second and catches among running backs, which is obviously going to bring your floor up. At least 15 touches in all three games, 90 plus yards in two of the three games in the exception was the Vikings elite Runde offense last week. So that's not the case against the Packers this week. They've allowed six touchdowns and the second most fantasy points to running back so far. Even if they roll back, they rolled back Irving usage a little bit last week and he still was productive against a good defense. So give me Bucky Irving here over Chase Brown, who by the way has been under 11 fantasy points now in two consecutive games, Daniel. So Chase Brown, while being under 11 fantasy points into consecutive games, it's tough when you lead my argument with a negative stat. - I have other negatives. - No, no, no, I didn't actually want you to lead in the first place. - There's a lot of them here. - Here's the thing about Chase Brown. Have you guys watched the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play football this year? My gosh, that team is terrible. Do you think that without Baker Mayfield out there, you're just going to give the football the Bucky Irving and defenses aren't just going to swarm the box and be like, "Sure, we're going to let this guy beat us." No, let the quarterback beat you with his arm. Chase Brown plays in an offense that could easily score 30 points of game every single week of the season, even though last week and the week before was not great. Here's what he did do. He had 21 touches in week one. He had 23 touches in week two. Last week, 15 against a tough Pittsburgh defense. That's part of the defense that you could run up against with the Pittsburgh Steelers in their same division sometimes. No way against the Jacksonville Jaguars. I understand also another good defense. But there's no way with what this offense is and the quarterback they're going to have under center and what they will look like versus the Bucks with a backup quarterback. There's no way I'm starting Bucky Irving over Chase Brown with everything that Chase Brown brings today. So wait, the Jags are allowing 3.1 yards per carry to running back. So it's probably going to swarm on the ground. Numbers are going to help your arguments and the and Chase Brown over the last two weeks, a total of 10 receiving arts. So where's he getting the production from? So on the ground, not in the in the passing game? I have to give Daniel credit because that was a much better effort to persuade on that you appeal will think a little bit more zest and vigor. Yeah, but still not enough. Bucky is the guy that I'm starting Mike is two and a half. Let's wrap it up with White receiver. Who do we? All right. The problem is the only piece of advice is like you make really good points and then you're like, yeah, I know the Jacksonville like it's like a whatever. I want it because I want to be. Oh, don't be out. No, don't be honest. That's the problem with lawyers. There's no objectivity. I give you my side and I don't give you the other side. I let you bring up the other side. By the way, are you picking the guy you have ranked higher? Are you just like are you just going to argument? Yeah, vibes like that. All right. I like how judges that's good. Exactly. Yeah, we're going to we're going to rotate every week. So I want to see how I should approach this in the future around the judge. Okay, last one, last one. A wide receiver. You'll go first or second. It's up to you. I want to go second again. Okay, Mike is bringing Lad McConkey to the table. I'm talking Luther Burton the third. Yeah, so it's a guy made grunk. This is a tricky one. I got you love versus a guy. I didn't love you. Hey, this is the key one. Yeah, yeah. I've been ranked two spots apart. So this is a tricky one for sure. But give me Lad McConkey here. I'm still buying in on him. Remember, he only played half the game in week one had five catches for 82 yards in a touchdown. Week two only played half the snaps. Did ever dud coming off the injury. We know if he was going to play in that one last week back to a full time role. Put up 66 charts in that game. He's still. I know that offense has been bad, but he has been very busy. Last week against Seattle. Terry McLaren put up almost 20 fantasy points. 18.7. So maybe the number one receiver can do something against this defense. And I'm still a little hesitant on on the other side of this with Luther Burton, little hesitant on if case kingdom could do it again. Look, look, Burton is averaging six point eight yards per target this season. So the volume is better last week, but the efficiency has not been the playing the Jets. Do you know that only one wide receiver has reached 12 fantasy points? I want to go to Almond Ross against the Jets. No, it's a boy. Christian Watson. Yeah. Most put up any game against the Jets. So Burton might have his hands full here. So give the edge to the guy thinks the better, more polished player. Now healthy. Finally. And lad Maconkey. Burton's got his hands full. That means he's got a lot of balls in him. So it's going to be a lot of opportunities guys. Is that the whole argument? No, hold on. I think I got more. Hold on. I think I got more. Luther Burton, guys. 11 targets last week. By the way. Do you even watch any of the Chargers games? There's no way that you're like talking about how Luther Burton is like maybe played poorly or something about this bear's offense. If you didn't watch the Chargers games, then you would be talking about lad Maconkey like he was actually good at football. But the offense is awful. There was nothing to write home about. There's no reason for optimism in this offense. There is reason for optimism around Luther Burton, though, because 11 targets last week, even for 61 and a touchdown, clearly coming on. I'm not buying the Tyson Beijing thing. It's him and Case Keenum. He clearly looked like the guy. And in this offense, Roman Medunze out, not even thinking about starting Roman Medunze. But when I look at vibes and the way that these offenses are rolling, I don't care about the Jets defense. I don't care about any of that. I would rather have the guy that has been doing things 11 targets, something that makes me feel like I can build off of rather than right now. If I'm starting lad Maconkey, I have no confidence. I have zero confidence in lad because we're playing the Seattle Seahawks. We have gone up against a bunch of cake matchups and I've done nothing in them, except for the first game. That was three games ago. That doesn't help me in week four, Michael. All right. So Daniel absolutely does a much better job with each round that goes by. He's getting angrier and anger. Making your arguments, but that's that's more persuasive. However, I hate the however, was it persuasive enough? Yes. Luther Burton. It is. That was the toughest case to make. That really was. Yeah. It doesn't feel good to start lad Maconkey right now, but also is he the most talented wide receiver in this range of wide receivers around 25 to 35, probably, I mean, there are some really good players. Well, this is James and Williams is like way down there, super talented, but like there's a bunch of guys this year. So there are. That's a hard part. All right. Fun times. I feel you did good as a judge. I didn't have to do much. Great. Yeah. I mean, execute the record. I'm up to the one. We're keeping track of all of these. Will there be any clean sweeps this year? I don't know. It's very important that we don't just try to be like, all right. He got two. So he gets one now. As long as we keep it objective. Yeah. Guys, we are doing our Wednesday random ranking. We love the chat for this. It's always been a ton of fun. Make sure if you are in chat. If you're not, you come and hang out on the Wednesday show and let us know what your top rankings are today. It is worst fictional movie or TV show plot to be stuck in, worst fictional movie or TV show plot. No truth. No truth crimes. No, yeah. Documentaries. Anything like that? Yep. Who wants to go first? You both looked at me. So I'll go first. I go first. I third one. My third one is honey. I shrunk the kids. Oh, that was on my list. I'm real. Yeah. Just being shrunk down. That'd be scary. What I was saying. Yeah. It was on my short list of movies. That's a comedy too. So it's fun. But also a great movie to go back and watch too. But that would be a nightmare to be terrible. Yeah. To be that small. You shrunk down. Realistically, you would just be gone immediately. Yeah. Eating by a bug or something to be over with. When you see like this giant stand, like walking by, you're like, yeah, it'd be terrible. It'd be that giant oatmeal pie sandwich in that movie. Those are great movies. Think about that. It would take you like a week and a half to eat it all. It'd be very satisfying. A week and a half. That's it. That's how small you are. You're not. You're not. Yeah, but you're not an aunt. I mean, you're just shrunk. Yeah. You've just been accidentally shrunk. Oh, fast. That's fair. All right. That's my three. Are we doing more? Are we going? No, no, no. Number three for me. I do three for you. This is pretty modern. This is very much in vogue right now. Okay. Not a blood guy. The pit. If you guys watch the pit, I have not, I have not watched it yet. But I've heard. Everybody loves it. Everybody says it's an amazing show. I've only seen bits and pieces. That's not where you would thrive. I'm out. Apparently it's like of all the medical shows. It's considered like the most realistic and like, oh, like, yeah, I'm just like showing up to work that I all I have to do is like, you know, suture together like in open hearts, like not for me. I'm out. The field's life so good is like Nightmare scenario is being a doctor like, that's it. I'm in it as a doctor. You want to be. That's his Nightmare scenario. Do you want to be playing with like intestines? No. I see even lives of children out here. I can't. No, but I mean, if you see the list that shows I have, it's like, well, my next two are a little more like, you know, just kind of goofy, but that first one, I just don't do blood well. My first one, my first one is lost. Damn it. Oh, good one. That was my number one pick. Was it? Yes. I'm so sorry. Or let's talk about it. Yeah. Do you know how confusing that show is? I have no idea what happened at the end. It ended 25 years ago. And none of us know. You're on an island. And by the way, there's your plane crash. I got to be a part of a plane crash, probably. That sucks. That's not great. You're on an island. There, a smoke monster. It's not Penny's boat. There's others. And there's a hatch with a bunch of numbers that we did like, there's, it never makes sense. And I would, oh, field. Take over. My brain just sorts of goodness. So I don't know like for shows that last for like, you know, season upon season upon season. I don't know how much foresight there is like when friends is going through their unbelievably dominant run like there when you're in the middle of season four, have you already mapped out five and six because the energy I got from lost was that like, it's the middle of season two. We don't know what's going to happen at the end of season two. And they kind of like made the story up as it moved along. And that's me as a consumer was very confusing. My mind was all discombobulated. This is the unquestioned number one for me. Lost just to me for a world many times over. Yeah. Yeah. Great show though. Yellow Jack is very similar. Might be worse in a similar circumstances. I don't know if you've seen that. But that's yellow jacket. Yellow jackets. Yeah. That's a wild show. It's a wild show. Similar, similar concept. Yeah. You know, they came by the way. That's right. Lost. Two for me is a silly one, Truman show, like your entire life. You're being watched. You watch. Yeah. At all times. Everything. Think about that. Like you can't escape anything. Every all the intimate parts of your life or everything. I'll be terrible. I wonder if that might be how life is. Yeah, but yeah, sometimes it feels like we're being washed. Yeah. I mean, you're right. Yeah. You should read Dungeon Crawler Carl. I'm a Dungeon Crawler Carl. Yeah. Okay. It's a great book. It kind of like dives into a little bit of that. It's a very fun, fantastical book. It's a good series. All right. You've already gotten my number one. So, Daniel, you can go to your my number two is Jurassic Park. Yeah. Good one. Tough one. Yeah. Because I love dinosaurs. But like that's it's the opposite way of the way that you want to encounter the dinosaurs. It's just running and screaming and terror and all of that stuff and you don't, you know, we're not prepared for it. Like it would be terrible. So I could watch Jurassic Park the original one a hundred times here. Oh, me too. Yeah. Great movie. That's great movie. I don't want to be in the movie. No. That's a great movie to watch. Would never want to be in it. So that's my number two. All right. So my number one is loss. I'm not moving off that stance. That's great. Number two though is breaking bad because it's just like a series of events that like you know are going to eventually end in a crash and burn scenario. Yeah. Your life is falling apart around you. Your wife is the absolute worst, right? I mean, it feels goes from being a doctor and one to making meth in the other. There's a big gap between this one and two. Not like Walter White should be like, you know, he's not exactly like the poster child for like integrity and all that. There's some things he did along the way that were wrong. But it was just like every like plan or every part of the plan he devised. It was like, all right, this is going to buy us a little bit more time until we step into another pile of crap a little bit later on. Breaking bad will be a very difficult place to be like it. Mine is, I mean, this one's, if you're our age, just going to bring it back in a bad way, final destination. Oh, yes. That's tough. Just knowing. Yes. What's coming down the line. All that moving over and over again in type show. Yeah, you say that. But this one like you, it's just all those disasters. I mean, have you driven on a road and seen a truck a tractor trailer with long logs on it and not thought about that movie? Like that's just you wait for the one I mean to release and then it comes flying like absolutely speed up and get past this truck as fast as possible. Like anytime you get into an elevator, you're like, get in before the door closes for like you walk on an escalator to go up at a mall. Maul's used to be a thing that kids would go to back in the hour when we were children and a couple left out there. Yeah. So. Do you have another one? Do you want to give your number? What lost to be my number one? Because that's a passion. That's how passionate you are about it. My number one movie. Worst fictional movie or TV show plot to be a part of would be Draftay. I have to work for the Cleveland Bruns. Wow. That's shot through the heart. Sorry. They might win on Thursday night. I don't know. What are you going to do that? I don't know. They're two and one. It's a good question. Yeah. Yeah. I have a couple on our. Yeah. Bring it. Let's do these first in case someone takes them days of our lives would suck just stuck in a crappy drama. I thought about golden girls. I thought about having that be on the list for what it's worth. The walking dead. Definitely. I thought about that as well. The walking dead will be amazing. That's amazing. Good one. That's something fun. No. In a way. It wouldn't be. We think it's fun because it's a movie. Oh, no. Yeah. Jeff C. Yeah. You haven't seen the human centipede. You don't want. Haven't seen that. Nope. You don't need to watch it. You don't need to. Starship troopers thought about that one as well. That one was real gross. That was one of my honorable mentions. Yeah. That was that was another good one. Yeah. The thing was saw though is like you have to do something bad to be even put in there. So it's like a weird one. Like you have to basically be a criminal or something. Other ones for me. Groundhog day. I thought about that. Quiet play seems so miserable. That would be terrible. Make a sound. And the purge. That's another go. You don't watch the purge. Oh, it's the purge. That's in a couple of those. Yeah. One all crime is legal for one day. One day all crime is legal. 24 hour TV and it's a movie. There's a couple of year or four movies. Yeah. I got to write this one down. Don't watch it with the kids. It feels like that's interesting. We should do that. I'm going to write my congressman. The purge. Let's go to the poll here. We set out a show guys. Who is the toughest. Thank you. Come on. That's right. You guys are the worst. You'll last year. I love the field. Do you have 27% as the. I wanted to say. I wanted that in there just because I knew that was going to happen. That's hilarious. Recound. No, I thought but our demographic out there. Everybody gets it. You know, that was good. Tough being a little tired. You know, just tired. Thanks for hanging out with us today. Guys, we're going to be back tomorrow. We're going to preview week four. dive into what will be Thursday night football and hang out with these Yahoo's a little bit longer from Mike and. I'm not showing up. I am Daniel. We love you guys. Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself. You deserve it. We'll see you guys tomorrow. That's a fine. [Music]

FAQs

The top five quarterback rankings are Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Tyler Schuck, and Bryce Young. The rankings highlight the close competition among these players, with Josh Allen leading the list, followed by Lamar Jackson as a strong contender.

Bryce Young is ranked highly due to a strong matchup against a struggling defense, leading in passing yards and expected passing touchdowns. He's also had multiple touchdowns and favorable opportunities near the goal line, though his rushing production is a concern.

No, Jalen Hertz is no longer viewed as a top-three quarterback. His recent performances, especially against tough defenses, have declined, and his rushing upside has diminished significantly compared to his preseason projections.

Kyler Murray is a strong option due to Miami's historically poor defense, allowing zero sacks and completing 80.3% of passes. This creates a high-risk, high-reward scenario where Murray can perform exceptionally in a favorable matchup.

The Detroit Lions are fantasy-friendly due to their high-scoring offense and historically bad defense, which allows opposing offenses to score heavily. This results in high fantasy points in nearly every game, making them a consistent fantasy asset.

Yes, Jamir Gibbs is a top-tier fantasy running back due to his high volume of touches (30+ per game), elite performance in early games, and lack of defensive threats. His projection of 26.18 fantasy points per game is considered high, though some question if it's sustainable.
