Week 4 Mailbag Q&A! Start/Sit, Waivers & Questions Answered! | 2026 Fantasy Football Advice

The episode transitions from injury-centric discussions to strategic fantasy football analysis, focusing on lineup decisions, player matchups, and trade evaluations. Hosts Dan and Jamie discuss key roster moves such as starting Khalif Raymond, evaluating Rashad White’s return, and trading for Chase Brown or other receivers based on matchups and value. A major fantasy cop segment examines a controversial trade involving Brock Bowers, concluding it stands due to lack of collusion despite poor management, reinforcing the importance of league integrity. The conversation also explores mid-season rule changes, emphasizing that altering playoff structures late in the season can unfairly impact team strategies. Audience questions highlight player value, trade viability, and fantasy league dynamics, with consensus favoring consistent performers. Humor and personal anecdotes about travel and state visits add a light-hearted touch, with both hosts admitting to limited travel. The episode concludes by promoting Omaha Stakes as a value food option, offering a premium burger flight with a promotional discount, blending entertainment with actionable fantasy tips. The overall tone is informative, balanced, and community-driven, reflecting the show’s commitment to deep fantasy insights.

>> This is Fantasy Football today from CBS Sports. >> So what a play! >> Can you believe this? >> It's a no again. >> It's time to dominate your fantasy league. >> To the races, play States and Spain. >> Just gotta go to the distance. >> Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and he. [MUSIC] >> It's mail back time. >> It's Friday, October 2nd. You might be listening on Saturday, October 3rd. Happy weekend, everybody. Welcome back to Dan Schneier. What's up, Dan? >> I'm doing well. I feel like my vibe. >> Nice to not ask that. I said, "What's up?" >> It's up. I mean, I'm much. It's a great day. What's up with you? >> I'm doing great. Thanks. >> Well, I was just going to say, I feel the vibe, and I feel like I want to change it. Because I was reading Jamie's start set article last night. And it's just like I'm tired of talking about the injuries. And I feel like all of the week, this week, I'm beyond the box score, we're just talking injuries. So today, I want it to be less injury talk, more lineup decision talk, fantasy cops, all the fun stuff about fantasy. >> We got Nico back. We got Pooka back. Let's go. >> Yeah. >> The positives. >> Now, you're right. It can be on Sunday when you get major injuries like we had last Sunday. It can really actually make me a little upset for my fantasy. I have zero divane H&N, there's nothing to it with that. I don't like talking about it. It sucks. And I know it frustrates people a lot. So we do have good fantasy cops today. >> Good. >> Some quality fantasy cops. And we're going to start with your YouTube car. >> We do a whole episode of fantasy cops. >> That would be awesome. >> I'm not saying we should. I'm saying could we? >> I probably get 10 a week. So we could, but not all this episode at some point, toward the end of the year. >> Not all of them are interesting enough, I think. And also, I don't want to overkill it, I don't want to, you got to make people wait. >> That's right. >> Okay. >> Dan, I think if you can move your mic a little closer to your mouth or turn your legs up. >> Oh, I'm surprising. I know, I just see that in the comments. I have the right mic on. I don't know what it is. >> It's not the mic. It's just, it's a little far from your mouth. That's all. >> Okay. >> You also have a mirror on your mic stand. >> What? >> You have a mirror? >> Like the little connecting thing between your mic and your mic stand. >> Oh. Yeah, it's a little reflective there, isn't it? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> How about that? >> You can't do that. >> He is. Just kill him. >> I'm frazzled. >> You know what I'm talking about right now. >> Yeah, I see it. All right. Get your questions in. Bucky Irving or Braylon Allard? >> Bucky. >> This was one that Jacob and I actually debated on Tuesday show. I'm okay going with Bucky. He hasn't one spot ranked one spot ahead and I think that's fair. But I would not be surprised with Braylon Outscore's Bucky. So if you have a gut feel for Braylon, I would go Braylon. >> Question for Dan. The American business environment has fundamentally changed. Fundamentally changed following the insider trading and savings and loan scandals. Explain business ethics and how they are applied today. >> I know everything about business ethics. Let me tell you, business ethics. When you grow up in New York, if you're from New York, that's the best place to have business ethics. That's my answer. >> Do you know what this is? >> No, of course I don't know. This is a joke. I don't know why you read this on air. You don't know what this is? >> You never read the puppy who lost his way. >> Oh, this is Billy Madison. >> Yes, Billy Madison. >> Oh. >> That's how that started. >> Yeah, that's his answer. >> Did a part of the story I don't like, that's only part I know of that. >> No, it's whatever. One of my fantasy team names, by the way, is business ethics for that very reason. >> Mario or Jalen Hertz? >> Mario. >> Mario. >> What do you mean? >> It's Mario Ty, I think. >> I think it's Mario. >> Okay. >> No, it's not, dude. >> I think so. I think so. >> Sit one, rice neighbors, burden or golden? >> Sitting neighbors. >> Ooh-hoo. >> Yeah, neighbors and I'm okay with that. >> I can't sit, but it's either burden or neighbors, but if you expect burdens roll to continue like it was last week, because in the matchup is not as good as it seems against the Jets. They've been good on defense, but I'm okay sitting neighbors for burden, I guess. >> Herbiter, Mario. >> Mario. >> Mario. >> Mario. >> Mario. >> Mario. >> Marcia Lloyd, price, Kendri Miller, or Ali Gordon? >> Oh. >> Price. >> Really? >> He may not play, so what's your backup plan? >> Gordon. >> Manuel Wilson. >> Dan, do you know this? Yeah, Manuel Wilson. >> Do you know that? >> The back launches. Yeah, that's the best part of the movie. >> Do you know this reference? Every time we hear Ali Gordon, I think of Gordon? >> Gordon? >> Gordon? >> Yeah. >> Is that Batman? >> No, it's Peter. I think he can't remember Chris's neighbor, something like that. They're like Peter. >> What's Peter's name? >> Peter Griffith. >> And what? >> South Park. >> Oh, I think I'm like a huge family guy fan. Did you ever see South Park destroy family guy after that moment? I was kind of like, yeah, they pretty much know. They're just a manatee hitting three random things and putting them together. It's like, great, great comedy. Great job. >> Would you stash pits or crafts, both are on waivers? >> Crafts. >> Gordon? Will Dan switch to indoor golf now that winter is coming? >> Of course. We will switch to indoor simulator golf. I mean, what do you think? Then just knock on the swing for four months. >> Damn bad guy. >> Hampton, Odunze, Khalif Raymond, or Keenan Allen, PPR? >> Hampton still for me. >> Shultz, Raymond, or Jekori Kroski-Marit and Rashad White not practicing, so probably out. >> Bill. >> Yeah, Bill. >> With no white. >> He's a top player. >> Does that really change anything though, Jamie? Again, it could just be Echler. >> It could be Echler, but it also, you know, we've seen two touchdowns, right? The last two weeks go to Rashad White, one catch, one receiving one rushing. And I think the receiving one was a short yardage one. So the Colts are not great against running backs. I think this just gives Bill enough of a bump that you feel comfortable with. >> Okay. Dan, you have some up dog on your mic. >> I'm trying to figure out why my mic is so low. I have the gain and everything up so high. >> You have up dog on your mic. >> Well, right now we're trying to get the levels right. We're not worried about the up dog joke, okay? >> Dan, you could weigh it out of debate. We had earlier this morning, Muffins or Cinebon? >> As far as what? That's a good, like, Cinebon for one bite. >> As far as this. >> I wanted it. Okay. For one bite, it's Cinebon, but I'm not going to eat a whole Cinebon. It's the, by the time I get like 30% through, I'm disgusted with myself and life itself. At least on the Muffin I can get through the whole thing. So I'll go Muffin. It's more versatile. Bill or Wix? >> Bill. >> Yeah, you can't bench Bill this week, he's a top 20 play, I think, at least. >> All right, I mean, I think. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Would you drop Chris Godwin for Emmett Johnson? >> Yes. >> No. >> Yes. >> I still think they can get back on track the bugs at some point. >> Yeah, we'll wait three weeks for that, I guess. >> Yeah. >> You're right. We're going to wait, but. >> Last one. I need to drop Dobbins or Dantabian Wix for Jacobi Preset, Daniel Jones, Penix or Marriota. >> If you need help now, Marriota, if you are looking long-term, Daniel Jones, Preset. >> So I go Preset over all of them and I would probably drop, man, if. >> Cardinals have one. >> This feels like a 10 team league? I don't know why, but it does. I would probably drop May. >> Wow, yeah, not a bad call. Okay. There are some questions. We'll get to some more chat questions a little bit later. Sunday morning, super early, wake up with us and join us at 8.30 a.m. Eastern on youtube.com/fantasyfootball today. >> Four A.m. >> Four A.m. >> Four A.m. >> Four A.m. >> Four A.m. >> What's that? >> Yeah, not my favorite. >> I can't believe that, but I will enjoy the 8.30 to 9.30 show and then the Noon to One show youtube.com/fantasyfootball today from 8.30 to 9.30 a.m. and then Noon to One. So a little bit different schedule with the London games, seven straight weeks and that means no nap for me. So you're going to get cranky at them at the new show. >> A part show. >> It loves the London game because you get it. >> Why would you not just nap at the half time? >> Yeah, I will nap at half time. But that's going to be like a 10-minute nap. It's not good. >> Have you been watching that? >> I mean, this year at them, or have you just been going on like trips and I mean like doing like sitting there going to birthday parties and stuff? >> Watching the hurricanes? >> Yeah. >> I don't miss the hurricanes. >> Okay. >> Well, you missed it. Well, you did miss it last year. You missed the playoff game. >> Yeah, I DVR the playoff game for an important event. So. >> It was not an important event. >> So. >> Well, was it again? Why did you miss it? >> It was a hot party. >> It was like a party. >> It was a sun's friends. >> It was a hot like a party. And you're making something up. This is what you do. I've got something this weekend, though, because not only do we have the hurricanes at 730, we have the Yankees. >> Oh, yeah. >> Saturday night as well. >> Yeah, you're a fake Yankee fan. >> One of my favorite bands is coming to Sleepy Hollow, New York for the Sleepy Hollow Music Festival. >> What band? >> And I kind of want to go and is ever clear. >> Oh, ever clear. - Oh, ever clear, I would see ever clear. - What's that? - What's that you're going to the concert, or you haven't. I don't think I'm gonna end up going. I don't even know what time they're on. It's Saturday. It's like a festival. - One of your favorite bands in your backyard, you're not going? - I've seen them before. They're not great live. I really want to watch the two games. So, I'm on the fence. - Wait, do you have the wake me up and say, "Bander, is that different?" - No, I don't know what that is. - Okay. - Who, what was that? ♪ You're like, call my name and save me ♪ - You know, that song, is that-- - Oh, that's an essence. - Okay, that I would want to go see. - And use the mirror on your microphone to brush your teeth. - I don't even know what's-- - I should don't think it is a mirror. I just think it looks like-- - There's actually no mirror on this. I'm looking at it right now, but I don't know what this is. - Really? - Mirror mirror on the bike. - How's the first time you notice this, Jamie? - Well, the last time we talked to you were in a closet. So, that is true. I was in that Chicago closet. That wasn't even a closet. I don't even know what I wanted. 'Cause it was like a laundry room. - I love this too. Do you see the mirror type yesterday in the chat? - What is this mirror? All right, we're gonna have to play on. - Anyway, I don't think I'm going to go to the concert, but we'll see. - Now, let's read some emails. The only, I don't have a lot of notes now, just the commander's practice report with Jane Daniels out, Chigal Conco limited, Rashad White missing practice. So, emails start with one from David. He's got a bunch of questions here. - Dac Press got Tyler Schuck a bright shun. - Schuck. - I think it's still Dac for me, despite the matchup. Kyle Pitzer, Mark Andrews. - Andrews. - Andrews, I guess. - Michael Wilson, Matthew Golden, or Lad Maconkey. - Golden. - Golden, but Wilson's gonna have a huge week too. - Khalif Raymond, Quentin Johnson, or Wando Robins, or Bench Golden. Raymond. - Raymond. - From Krauss, you gotta get him faster. Jamie's gonna get there first. So, it's how he goes, he's fast. - You can just repeat. - Studying all week, he's on shows all week, he's writing so much content, bang, bang. Just clicks in his brain so much faster than mine. - So, start writing more. - I guess so. I don't know how else to do this. - From Krauss, you're doing experience. - No, you're doing it great. You just wait for Jamie to answer. Then you say, yeah, I agree with Jamie. - No, but if I want to have, I'm not just gonna answer differently. - I will let Dan answer first. - Okay. - All right, thank you. - From Krauss, be a 12 team, half PPR league. I have two tough decisions. Blake Korum or Jalen Wright. - Wright. - Korum. - Crafts or Waller. - Yeah, like this man, I mean, what does he do? - Krab, Waller. Waller, good matchup. It's a means to just touch down or nothing, but he looks for him a lot. - Reggie Miller with the layup, and the only thing I could ruin is his taste on prints. - What? What was that? - It's a very complex analogy that Jamie's using to say Tara Waller is a layup. First of all, it was LeBron blocking a good dollar at the taste on prints blocking. He blocked Reggie Miller. - Yeah. - Oh, what is this from? - The NBA. - Yeah, no, but the reference. - It was, it's a. - I said that Waller has the layup of all matchups, and the only thing that could ruin it is LeBron coming out of nowhere and blocking with all of them. - Got you with all of them. - No, I know the same thing with that. - Yeah, the run down block. - Yep, yeah, got it. - Oh, look at that. - Oh, that's cool. - He's showing prints blocking. That's a great, great shot there. - That's a great block. - That's right there, holy crap. - There's one more that I have if you want it. - Okay. - Kobe Chase, down 100 Miller. - I didn't think you were an NBA fan for some reason, Jamie. - Gee, he is a big NBA fan, yeah. - I'm not as much as I used to be. - Heat? - No, he doesn't care about teams. - Oh, yeah, I was just thinking. - Is there any team that you care about at this point, Jamie, in sports? - Professionally. - Either, either. - Oh, I'm just getting care. - You watch Kate, okay. I didn't know you cared about Kate. Okay, they're good this year, by the way. Jade at all, Beast. Yeah, he is very good. Wessie faces Miami. Do they get to play Miami this year? - Unfortunately for them, they don't. - Oh, I was hoping to see that match up for the podcast purposes. That would have been so much fun. I'm happily, they don't play, 'cause I don't know how that would go. - Yeah, they beat you guys up easily. - Well, the last two times in a year. The last two times they played the Hurricanes won by like 70 combined. - Yeah, the last two times Florida wasn't good. - There were a few, I think probably before we started working together, there was a few good early 2000s. There were some good games. - They weren't an annual game. - It used to be, but that back was in the 80s. They hadn't played annually since then. - Yeah, Florida was scared, I guess. I think that's the sort. - Yeah, and now they're good. I mean, the fact is Miami plays nobody all year. It's such a fake record every year. - Okay, I mean, you have some SEC bias like everyone else out there, like. - No, I'm really just trying. - The answer was constant. Why would you have SEC bias? - Well, 'cause everyone thinks the SEC is great, but it isn't that great anyway. - I do, yes. - Yeah. - It may not be as good as it used to be, but the one thing I know for sure is the ACC is an absolute joke of a football. - No, it isn't. That's where you're wrong. - I think we know for sure. - No, okay, sure. - That's where you're wrong. - All right, this is from Daniel. Do I start Ash and Jentie or Drake London? Half one PR. - London, London. - Yes, London. - Yeah, and from NJT. - Is that a impression of me? - No, it was Jamie being like, how do you have that option? And he's one and two by the way. From NJT, giving up Bucky Irving and Luther Burton, getting Chase Brown. My Whiteouts would be Lam, DJ Moore, Wandoe Robinson and Dobs, and it's a three receiver league. Give up Bucky and Burton for Chase Brown. - It's a great by-law. - I mean, on this, I think that Chase Brown's one of the better by-low players you can make right now. - Yep. - Okay, it just leaves him pretty thin at-- - It does leave him thin, but there's a chance Bucky's going to be a super frustrating play. This can go two ways, I think, with these three Jalen Daniels weeks. One, they design the offense completely around Bucky Irving because they can't drop back and have a consistent rhythmic passing game. That's good. Two, the entire offense looks like crap and Bucky isn't the focal point. And now you have a guy that's basically a dead zone back. - Well, maybe, yeah. - You're getting Chase Brown at the right time. You're maybe selling Luther Burton at the right time because who knows how this is going to go with the quarterback play with Caleb Not Healthy and maybe playing it less than 100%. I don't know, I think it's great trade. - Okay, all right, we'll take a break. We'll take a great break. And when we come back, more of your emails, fantasy cops, Apple podcasts, modify and your YouTube comments after this. I'm going to talk to you right now about Omaha Stakes. You have to do it in the voice, not a different Dan, by the way. You have to do it in the RB's voice. We have Sadeek. - That's not bad. - Yeah, that bad. - That's pretty solid. - Do you put the letters RB and then a lower S in front of that. RB's, we have the, we have Sadeek. - Like RB's and RB. - To make sure everybody knows what you're doing kind of thing. - Yeah, no, I mean, I don't know if it adds or gets confusing. - I feel like you almost have to because unless you're saying, unless it's like a leak or you could click it and it's just automatically. - You know what I mean? - Yeah, you're right. I think you do have to put RB's in front of it. Okay, here's a question from Wade White, a faithful listener. 12 team, PPR, six point per passing touchdown leagues. I need two flex. Okay, Darren Waller, Rishi Rice, Matthew Golden, Khalif Raymond. - Rice and Golden. Golden is the easy one, Niko Rice as well. - Oh, okay, why would you like Adam Waller? - No, I like, I was going to say the same thing. I thought Jamie Michael Waller. - Great answer. - All right, that's it from Wade. Thank you Wade. This is from No A from a town in our North of Fresno. - Oh, that's got to be considered the Pacific Northwest at that point. It has to be. It's now in our North of Fresno. Bakersville. - Sure, start two running backs. - Hampton, Tutan Henderson. - Tutan, and Hampton for me. - Yeah, you gotta say Anderson. - Let's guess how many state stanchionier has been in. For anything other than layovers. Like, yeah, it's you have to have been in there. Not just driven through them, but you know. - Left the airport. - Left the airport of the car. - Yeah. - All right. - Well, I think driving through counts. Well, if you pee, no, not driving through, doesn't count unless you spend time, there. He did a diner there. I'm gonna say Dan has been to, he's in his early 30s. I'm gonna say he's been to 18. No, no, much more. I've been, I think my number is somewhere around 32 or 33. I'm gonna say, I'm gonna have to count it. So, Dan, he loves to travel. What's the thing with Danny? He loves to travel. I'm gonna say 26. I'm gonna have to count it at some point. Yeah, I know. Okay. Why don't you count it? Jamie, I'll run through the questions here. And before fantasy cops, you'll give us the answer. All right, Jamie, Brian says, would you trade Omarian Hampton and Pukinakua? He says, for Ken Bone and Parker Washington, is Ken Bone Kenneth Walker? I guess so. I never heard that. I would 1 billion percent make that trade. Okay. From Douglas, dear Mark, Helena, Irving and Dylan. No idea. But before Dan answers, we're gonna go double or nothing. What, what's our closest to the number of states? Yeah, but what was there? Oh, is this the, does Dan know this? Yeah, so you're up $2. Okay. Okay, fine. Top or nothing. I said 26, you said 17, 18, 18, all right. Closes the number without going over. Okay, fine. Half PPR picked two. This is Mark, Helena, Irving and Dylan is severance, apparently. Omarian Hampton, Braylon Allen, Dalton, Concade, picked two. Martin Hampton, Braylon Allen, Dalton, Concade, who? That's it, picked two. Sitting on Omarian Hampton. Yeah, me too. From Kyle, 10 teams super, super, super flex, PPR. Half a point for a rushing first down. Tony Pollard or Omarian Hampton? Hampton. And flex. Tony Pollard. I got the number. Okay. Tony Pollard, Kendrick Miller, Roma Dunesay, Ameka Buka, Devon Vela, Carnell Tate. A lot of names there. Remember, half a point for a rushing first down. Is he one? Yeah. Pollard, right? Just based on that. I still go Vela. Yeah, I'm going to go Vela. All right, Dan. We got a 26 from me and 18 from Jamie. How many states have you been to? This is going to be, I can't believe you know me this way. 25. Wow, you almost got this right. Literally insane. I picked up one this year that I hadn't been to Rhode Island a few months ago. And I was looking through it. Yeah, 25 of these. I do. I've done a few hiking trips. That's a big part of it. Like I hit like Montana, Utah, all those on the hiking trips. And then I've done some golf trips that have also hit some extra stuff in there. But now, a lot of East Coast, a lot of West, not the, and then Texas area, not that much Midwest I learned, like just really Illinois, Michigan was content. I didn't somehow have never been to Iowa and Nebraska can talk to any of those ones. I've been to all three of those states. Yeah, I don't know why I lived out there for four years. I don't know why I never hit any of those. All for work. I didn't go for fun. Yeah. All for work. Yeah. I'm 32ish, 33 something like that. How about you, Jamie? Two, three, three. Wow. Yeah. I need to get up to, I don't know why Adam. I would have expected you in the low teens. If it were up to me, like for the rest of my life, I would probably just go to like one or two states. That's what I'm saying. You know, somebody wants to travel. Yeah. No, it was, most of it was work. Okay. I had to travel. Yeah. And I've gotten to do some cool stuff for work, but in college too, I traveled a lot in college. Never been to Alaska. I really want to go there. That's like one of the top ones on my list. I've been there. Supposed to be beautiful. Yeah. Yeah. Alaska was, I went on a cruise. So I didn't really see Alaska that well. Okay. But I still counts. It was cool. Kind of went water rafting. Oh, Alaska. Yeah. I don't also see you doing white water rafting unless it was like the low grade. I feel like you do like the one level one. You're not a level like three or four kind of guy. I went to West Virginia and did the one of the most dangerous white water raftings in the country. Yep. Yep. I'm surprised. Do you go on roller coasters? Well, roller coasters. I did not put you on any of this. I don't think I want to do white water rafting anymore, but it was fun when I was a kid. Yeah. What was the movie you've been at? Any movies this week that you asked and thought I, because you didn't ask me. We're not a movie this week. No, I wouldn't have any. Yeah. All right. Back to the questions real quick here. Travian Henderson, four bucks. Yeah. I'm getting close to buying something. Dave wants to know. Travian Henderson or jacory Krasky merit. Krasky Merit bill. Bill. Yeah. Let's hope this is a good week. I mean, it's a good matchup, good opportunity for him. Yeah. This is from jazz 14 team full PPR. I got offered Josh Allen for my Jordan love and Chase Brown. My other running backs are James Cook, Kyron Williams and Travian Henderson and Braylon Allen. Nope. Yeah. To me, these are the type of trades that can ruin a season in 14 team leagues. They feel good on paper. Josh Allen's one of the top scores. You feel like he's a weekly difference maker. Before you know it, you're starting like, I don't know, Kendra Miller running back to because you got one more injury. And now you have no doubt because you gave away a position player for quarterback upgrade. Can't do it in my opinion. We could have some news come through during the show. And one thing is the Genes have ruled out Breeze Hall at an I Mitchell and Mason Taylor. Okay. Yeah. How good was the D last week? His table is freaking awesome. Amazing. Best tape looks. Best tape I saw a week. I think I didn't go in hard enough on him in for agent budget. And I lost him and every league. People were heavy on him. I said, I think on Tuesday, if you didn't know he was a tight end, you would think he was a receiver or why it was that's exactly what I was talking about or we're thinking of like we're having mind meld this week. It looked to me like I was watching like a Terrence Ferguson type player out there moving like a receiver. The other guy that to me was the best I saw on tape. I don't watch that much, but we do some for beyond. Sam Darnold. I don't know if you saw it. Oh, I didn't watch that game. He looked good. He looked great. And his offensive line. Look, I mean, like you watch so enough football. There aren't that many guys who have just clean pockets a lot. And he really did and it was Washington. He'll make some mistakes like that second interception was bad, but I thought he was great. And he was aggressive. And I really could see him having a good year again. I know I said that yesterday. Yeah, and they can't really block the run. So they have to pass more this year. Yeah. Let's see. What else? We got from Mike, dear George, Ron, Fred and Bill. George, Ron, Fred and Bill. What are those from? Oh, the Weasley's. Oh, Harry Potter. Yeah. I never read three books of Harry Potter as a kid. Never watched a single movie. How weird is that? It has a word. Yeah. Yeah. What it is? Everyone says the movies are better than the books. Oh, I don't know. I'm just, that's okay. Yeah. The opposite. All right. 12 team super flex. CJ Stroud, Drake, May, Michael Penix, Cam Ward. Should I start Stroud? He's starting Stroud and then May, Penix, or word. Oh, or he can get Mario. Oh, Mario. Mario. Yeah. Go get Mario. And as far as starting, he said he's starting May or he's starting Stroud. Stroud. Stroud would only start Stroud if Niko plays. I would not start Stroud if Niko's out. I would start Stroud over May either way. I know. And this is from Chris, our last question here before we get to some fantasy cops. I just lost the Von H and my second running back was either Menonguy or Blake Korum. I have St. Brown, Olave Christian Watson and Luther Burton. So I traded Olave and Menonguy for Kyron Williams and Jalen Waddle. And now I have the Rams backfield locked up way overpaid. No, I wouldn't say way overpaid. I don't think we love the deal because I think he's giving up the best player, but he got two quality players back here in Waddle. And who is that? And Kyron. Like, yes, Olave is one of the true difference makers in fantasy right now. And there aren't that many. There's a handful every year, two handfuls every year. Let's say a little more. And he's one of them. And he's going to continue to be. But Kyron is pretty damn solid. And Waddle has way more great weeks than him that Menonguy has. And Caleb Douglas is out this week, by the way, for the dolphins. Chris Bell time, baby. Is it finally here? The Chris Bell break out week. Is it coming? Maybe, but not before the fantasy cops get here. Let's go. Where's Dan's version? I'll get this for the next one. Don't do it again. Do your version. Where's your version? Where's Jamie? It's perfect. All right. We have it's not perfect, but three fantasy cops today. And I think they get progressively better. Let's. This one is from Eli. He says, Hey, boy, Kenny, Victor and Jade. It's an obvious one. Boyd, Kenny, Victor and Jay, the only boy I know is Boyd Crowder. Yeah, I have absolutely no idea what this was. I was just trying to make you feel bad. Oh, we have an issue in my 10 team dynasty league. I am the commissioner. I woke up on Wednesday morning to a pending trade of Brian Robinson, the two first round picks, the second round pick and Tony Pollard. So apt up. Obviously, the guy thought he was trading for Bijan Robinson and pretty quickly asked for the trade to be canceled. I think it should be canceled, but the Brian Robinson manager obviously disagrees what do the fantasy cops rule? No, no, no. This is cut and dry. You cancel the trade. And I have questions about the Brian Robinson manager who obviously disagrees. Step up to the plate man. Be a man and understand that you don't need to be a baby about this. It's a stupid thing, he made a mistake, intent is important here, you're running a dynasty league, which is supposed to be a long-term league with the same managers. Don't set a bad tone by trying to do this type of thing and then say, "Oh, no, no, no. He has to stick with it." Get the hell out of here enough, cut and dry. Next one. Rough, rough. Oh, sorry. I get the wrong one. Next one. I would let the trade stand for like a day, but I would text the commissioner and say, "I'm just doing this to mess with the other guys since he screwed it up." I would be wanting to mess with the Bryan Robinson manager based on what he said, more than anyone else. Oh, it should stand. Doesn't it look like a fantasy cop's t-shirt? Yeah, it does. Like you're wearing the fantasy cop shirt and it's bleeding down right there. It's the same color. I love it. That's great. All right. Nice. That's Adam's or mine. What is it? What's the. Come on now. All right. Anyway, let's get the real music back here for Brandon in Detroit. Up there. Get better. It's your Kirk Kenneth. I'll find it eventually. It's your Kirk Kenneth, Jaden and Jalen. Kirk Kenneth, Jaden and Jalen. Let's do Daniels and two walkers. I don't know who Kirk Walker is, but. Kirk. All right. Our 14 team half PPR League has existed since our Michigan State days forming in 2007. Oh, it's all Michigan State Cup. Oh. Kirk Cousins. Who are the other ones? Kenneth Walker. Kenneth Walker. Yeah. Jalen. Jaden and Jalen. Michigan State Jalen. Oh. Oh, Jaden Reed. Mmm. Good. Jalen is the one that I'm going to have trouble. I don't know where Jalen right went to school if that's him. I don't know. It's not Jalen, right? He went to Tennessee. Yes, he did. That's right. Well, I'm good with these. That's why I'm trying to. Oh, um. Jalen. The receiver. No. Which one? Jalen. No, McMillan went to Washington. No, it's not McMillan. What am I thinking here? It's not Jalen's identity there. Hi. It was Tennessee. Okay. I don't really care. Nailer. There it is. Maybe. I don't know, just the other one there, but it feels like he could have. Okay. 14 team half PR league, half PBR league, 2007, it's transformed from one that vetoed nearly every trade to one that largely reserves videos for instances of collusion. The commissioner has the final say, but accepts public comment from league members. This terrible awful, no good, very bad trade was accepted this morning. Travion Henderson and Jacoby Myers for Brock Bowers. The Bowers manager, Dufus is awful. And Bowers was his only remaining player of any value after losing H&N for the year. The entirety of the trade negotiation was the team receiving Bowers sending a screenshot of the trade proposal and Dufus replying, quote, "Sure, why not?" End quote. Well, no collusion. 0 and 3 Dufus has admittedly packed it in and is changing the dynamics of the league by flippantly trading away his best player for roughly one-fourth the quarter of his value based on Dave's trade chart. Asked to explain his thought process, Dufus said he looked at the offer for five seconds before accepting and suggested we just veto it if we want. After many years of threatening to do so, he also announced his retirement from the league at the end of the year. The manager acquiring Bowers has announced that he too will retire if the trade is vetoed. Did the trade be vetoed and both managers ride off into retirement or should the trade be allowed to stand? Again, it was Travion Henderson and Jacobi Myers for Brock Bowers. Based on the leaving the league threats by Sia, no way of that trade to be fair. Yeah, I understand that gives me that reaction too, Jamie. But I will say this, I don't like the idea of vetoing a trade when you've set a standard of you don't veto unless there's collusion. This is not collusion, this is an example of bad management and I've talked about some of the past on fantasy cops when you have a bad manager. The only option in my opinion you have is to kick that manager out of the league and he's kicking himself out of the league. He's done with fantasy. It sucks that he's making this trade before he's done, but it's over. He made the trade and that's part, the reality is anyone could have got to Dufus. But this was the guy who got to Dufus. With all due respect, I don't think this guy should be penalized for getting to Dufus. These other managers should have got to Dufus before this guy got to Dufus. That's how I view it. I think the trade stands. I don't agree. And I think you could still kick the other guy out for threatening to be the league if you be. This is not a trade that's done in good faith though. Exactly. Because he knows it's not done in good faith. Dufus said whatever. I don't care. I'm quitting the league after. I can't let that happen. You know that all of Dufus's trades before this weren't done in good faith. I don't know that, but I do know that this one wasn't. Dufus said, look, I think Travian Henderson's going to become the lead running back there and be great. I think the jaguar's my trade, Brian Thomas Jr. and Jacoby Myers is going to be really good or whatever. Then I'd be like, you know what, terrible trade, but I'll let it go through. He didn't care about this trade. He just said, fine, I'll do it. They can veto it. So I'm out. I don't care. If you set this standard, how do you operate moving forward? That's the whole point of the no veto standard. It's because it sets up a dry subject. This doesn't outwardly say collusion, but it also, there is a little underlying tone of it potentially because he's like, I'm done. Let me help somebody before I leave. Yeah. It's sort of, but I can't even have to be like, he's getting a piece of the action. I don't think he's getting a piece of this. I'm surprised that you are on that. I think you're off here, Dan. I think you're. You're. It's a tough spot. I think you're bad. I understand why you think I'm off because it is a tough spot. Nobody wants these crappy trades that balance it a league. I don't want to need that. That the guy made the trade just because. Listen, the correlation here is, there's, dude, doofus and the fantasy league and doofus and the fantasy cops. So you can't let that go. Okay. Yeah, yeah. The trade, it's two to one. The fantasy cops say veto it. Last one here. From Don. Don says, my step that told me this story was ridiculous enough that I needed to report it to the fantasy cops. Oh, I love that. Yeah, me too. I'm turning myself in seven of my friends in for judgment. Seven? You know, I said eight, eight team league. Eight team league. This is good. What was the guy we had? Uncle. What? That was the best of all time. Oh, Ben. Ben sat. Finally nailed it. Uncle, is that the smirk? Yes. That's the dentist. Who is it? Uncle Jim. What did he say? Uncle Jim. Yeah. All right. Let's start this one over. A dentist. Ten man hours, but two people dropped out about two weeks before the draft. It's a pretty casual league. Three of the managers had never played fantasy football before. One had played fantasy basketball. One is a friend's girlfriend. Another one is our girl, our other girlfriend, whatever. Other girl friends. When the season started, our league settings had six of the eight teams making the playoffs. Remember, it was supposed to be a 10 team league. But the league started with six of the eight teams making the playoffs. I noticed it before the season, and my immediate thought was basically, that's a lot, but it gives the newer casual players a chance to stay involved. We drafted early August 23rd, but by August 14th, we knew the other teams weren't going to join. So plenty of time for any of the managers to bring up concerns. Fast forward through week three. I am the only Owen three team in this league. Suddenly, everyone notices that six teams out of eight make the playoffs and they decide that we should vote to change the playoff format mid season. I voted no. My argument was that everyone had the chance to review the league settings before we started. The commissioner could have changed it before the draft or before week one. Once the game's count, I believe a major rule like playoff qualification should stay in place unless every manager agrees to change it. I'm losing the vote seven to one. And I was accused of being selfish because obviously I'm the Owen three team and I benefit more than anyone from six playoff spots. One friend later pointed out that we had sent more than 300 texts in the group chat in under two hours with essentially everyone arguing against me while I defended keeping the original rule. So fantasy cops. I need a ruling. Am I abusing the no mid season rule changes principle because I'm Owen three or are my league mates in the wrong for trying to change a playoff rule three weeks into a season just because they finally noticed they didn't like it. Can't change it. So I have a different opinion on this and I know this is going to be unpopular. I think that a rule can't change if it impacts how you would have drafted or how you would have managed your team. I do not think this specific rule impacts how you would have drafted or manage your team and in thus really impacts nothing. So I think the reality is they technically just didn't change it but they meant to change it intent wise. Obviously this is what the other seven are arguing here. This is your worst fantasy cops show ever. You were on suspension, I mean, this is the horrible. First of all, what if I saw that six of eight teams made the playoffs and I decided, you know what, I'll take Josh Jacobs, I'll take Jordan Tyson, I'll play the long game here. It could have impacted my draft strategy. Fine. You've made a good enough case that you've made a good enough case that it could impact the game. That's it. What the hell is this bell? It's a limsey case. Look at this. Look at this cup. It barely impacts the game. Look, this never, this always happens in my leagues. No one ever wants a change or off the rule was set. You can't change anything. No, no, no, no. I get it and I understand the technicality side of it but some of these things are not impacted at all. If these guys talk to all year, we want the playoffs to be this. - Yeah, but if the guy forgets to do it, like, if it was week one, I can see the argument for it. - There's three weeks into the season. - But what does it change? What actually does it change? Just the long game thing with Josh Jacob, what else? - Who really cares? - They care, they wanted it to be a certain way. - Then they should have got paid more attention to it at the start of the season. - I know, but why can't they do it? - My whole point is like, I get that. - It makes no difference. - What's the negative to changing it now? - It makes one Josh Jacobs thing. - Four to six makes no difference. - Well, it does. I mean, it's tough for it to get to the change. But if you do a four team playoff, you're doing a two week playoff. If you're doing a six team playoff, you're doing a three, a three week playoff. - Not always. - Sometimes you do the four team and you just do an extra regular season week. - Yeah, exactly. And you do your playoff some weeks, 16 and 17. If you do a 16 playoff, the first two teams get a buy, and then you've got your four teams. So it really doesn't really change that much. Like, in my opinion, like you're getting an extra week of playoff, but it's, I don't know. It doesn't screw anyone. I don't really see the difference here. - You just change it for next year. You screwed it up, you changed it for next year. - I agree. - Yes. - Dan, just horrible. - Dan has to leave on a bad note. I mean, on a bad note. You're worse fancy than I've known. - Give me a good note. Give me a good note. - I don't know. You could give me a good note. What do you have for us today? - Nothing much. I don't have any good notes right now. I mean, the Giants, maybe. - Brilliant out on Aaron Jones. - We'll go Aaron Jones. - Okay. - There you are. - That's a good note for you. There we go. - And here. Not all rule changes are created equal. Fantasy is fun. It was an error. Just fix it. - That's how I kind of look at it. Thank you. - Yeah, but if Fantasy is fun, more playoff teams are better. - We don't need technical out every situation in my mind, but it is what it is. - I'm trying to think of my, my it doesn't really make a difference thing. And if that made any sense. 'Cause it made sense of my end. - No, that makes sense. - But when I spoke it, it didn't really make any sense. - Dan's mirror is blinding me right now. Oh, this is the, I see it now. That's not a mirror. It's just this thing. Come on, Jamie. Come on. All right, boys, have a good weekend. - All right, Dan. - Go badgers. - Go badgers. - Four. - All right, we'll take our second break. I don't think we did. We'll take our second break and come back with Apple Podcast questions, Spotify and YouTube on Fantasy Football today. And we got a lot of feedback. I wish Dan were still here. We got a lot of feedback on what we said about the Beatles last week. - Oh yeah. - So we have one in the comments, but I guess I won't read it. But this is from, in the Apple Podcast comments. This one is from T6 Rain Man. Who would I cut first to make space on my bench in 2026? Would I cut Josh Jacobs, Jordan Mason, Zach Sharbinay or Emmett Johnson? Huh. That is tough. - Is it honesty league? - No, he says he's a novice player. So who's the most cuttable here? Jacobs, Mason, Sharbinay or Emmett Johnson? So I had to cut Emmett Johnson in one league because I was stuck and the reason I did it, or I'm sorry, I'm planning to do it, is because the chief's trying to buy this in week five. So in the event that Johnson doesn't do anything in week four or Emmett or God willing, we can't walk or doesn't get hurt, I can go pick up Emmett Johnson most likely in a week of the potential guys. Like if we find out today or early next week that Jacobs is suspension is gonna kick in and be six games and he's playing in week seven, whatever the case may be, whatever number you wanna associate to it. Like he's gonna be added in a heartbeat. You're just in one of those tough roster crunch situations. You can't drop Sharbinay right now 'cause he's gonna get added in a minute. - I would drop Jordan Mason. - Yeah, that's probably going. - I just, you know, I don't know when he's coming back. It could be just a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure he's gonna have that much fantasy value. So if these guys are all on your bench, I drop Mason instead of Johnson, like Johnson's a league winner, potentially. I guess Mason could be, like Aaron Jones is pretty awesome. So maybe Mason could be too if Jones got hurt. - No, that makes him all sense, his Mason. - Okay, this is from Carson. I need some trade advice in a one quarterback, four point for pass and touchdown, dynasty league. Assuming Tyler Schuck has another great week. - Oh, damn it. This is from last week. - Is it crazy to trade Schuck and Travion Henderson for James Cook in a dynasty league? - You're giving a, is Superflex? - Yeah, no. - He has trade Schuck. - He has Purdy. He'd trade Schuck and Travion for James Cook. - I mean, if it's a one cubic league, I would do that in a minute. - It's a dynasty league though, just so what? - Okay. - I mean, James Cook's not going away any time soon. - Yeah. That's all I got from Apple Podcast this week, sorry. I do have a lot of Spotify questions though. And here they are. Who do you feel better about rest of season? Tutan or Skataboo? - Tutan. - Kooter Garza Jones says, "No mention of Shannon Sharp "in the tight end conversation, unbelievable." - Yeah, he's up there. The fourth guy is debatable. I think there's three that are locked in, at least for me. It's Kelsey Gronk and Gonzalez. Sharp's up there. Sharp's up there, Kelowin's up there, Kelowin's a senior. As he knew, he's up there. Somebody mentioned Jason Witten. You want to put him in the conversation, Sharp? - No. - A little longevity. I don't think so, but, you know. - Great. - No. - Antonio Gates, you know, there's lots of great tight ends. - Okay, I asked Google. And Google's AI response, top five tight ends of all time. - Well, it's four. - Okay, but they gave me five. - Tony Gonzalez, Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelsey, Antonio Gates, Shannon Sharp. - Okay. - Let me ask it, who is on the Mount Rushmore of tight ends? Tony Gonzalez, Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelsey, and Kellen Winslow. So, not very consistent here. - I'm telling you, there's three locks. - Now, apparently, according to Google, George Kittle was asked this question or something similar on the New Heights podcast. And Kittle said Gonzalez, Rob Gronkowski, Kelsey, and Dallas Clark. Interesting. I think Kittle is very close to being on. I mean, he's so good. All right, anyway. - Kittle, Kittle will be in the conversation. I mean, the reason we were asked or this came up was, could Brock Bowers have Travis Kelsey's career, right? - Yeah. All right, let's grade a trade here from Lance. Give O'Marion Hampton, get Richie Rice. - Give O'Marion Hampton, get Richie Rice, B minus. - That means it's a good trade. Anything higher than a C is a good trade. From Mason, I traded Devante Smith, Aaron Jones, and Luther Burton. Devante Smith, Aaron Jones, Luther Burton for Chase Brown and Jalen Waddle. - Hey. - From Sarah, starter sit, pick three. Well, she had Devante Smith and three other options. So start the other three. - Oh no, no, no. Pick three, neighbors, Christian Watson, Burton, and Josh Downes. Who are you sitting? - Just sitting one? - Yeah. - I'm sitting neighbors. - From Ramsey's, should I start DJ Moore or Michael Wilson this week? - Wilson. - What if Christian Gonzalez is out? - Wilson. - From Jack, do I trade Swift and Debo Samuel for Scataboo and Pickens? - Swift and Debo Samuel for Scataboo and Pickens. Yes. - Yeah, I think so too. From Mario, Rishi Rice, Matthew Golden, Ibuka, Luther Burton, start two. Rishi Rice, Golden, Ibuka, Burton. - Rice and Golden. - Yes, sir, Golden Rice. That should be something, right? That's really a good fried rice the other day. Love fried rice. Thank you for your Spotify comments. And Apple Podcasts, Spotify, anywhere you can review our show. It would be awesome if you could leave us a five star review. Tell people why you love the show. Tell your friends, all that stuff. Let's read some questions from the chat here. To finish things off. Would you drop Don Tavy and Wix or Romo Dunze to pick up Zach Sharbanay? - Drop Don Tavy and Wix or Romo Dunze to pick up Sharban Dunze. - What if you didn't anticipate meeting Wix in the next two weeks or so? - Then you drop Wix. - Okay, so yeah, look at your roster and figure out. Are you gonna start Wix? - But I don't know how long this entry is gonna be for Smith. - Yeah, it's true. I got offered Puka and Baker Mayfield in a 10 team, full PPR, dynasty, superflex, basketball league for Hertz and my late 2027 first, I smashed except. So he gave up Hertz and a late 2027 first for Puka and Baker, what do you think? - Love it. - You know, I gave a bold prediction on a different podcast. Actually, I may have said it on ours too. Before the season started, that this will be Jalen Hertz's last year as a starting quarterback in the NFL. What do you think about that? - That would suck, but it could see it happen. - Yeah, I'd be pretty surprising to me, but I think the Eagles might get sick of him. Some other team would maybe jump on that though. Would you trade Hampton and Valle for Tudon and Neighbors? - Yes. - Are you basically just trying to get whatever you can for Mario and Hampton right now? - Well, you're trading him as, when his value is probably at its lowest. So I wouldn't say I'm giving him away, but I also think you're buying low on Neighbors, which is a good bet. - I also think that Hampton's, value might get even lower after this week. I have a real fear of him scoring like 3.5 fantasy points. 12 carries for 28 yards and one catch, you know, obviously he could always score. But at this Seahawks defense is basically the worst matchup for for Omar and Hampton in my opinion. Should I accept Jamar Chase, Hampton and Menongai giving up Barkley, London and Golden? Chase, Hampton, Menongai giving up Barkley, London and Golden. No. Yeah, I wouldn't do it. Kenyans, Sedeeker, Tucker, Kraft this week. Kraft. Lamar Jackson or Jared Goff, six point. Lamar. St. Brown for London, Raymond and Henderson. What's the idea like better? I don't think London's going to be far off from St. Brown. So I might take the if you need if you need extra players. Henderson's so interesting. I mean, you cannot use him right now, but he would be so good if if there were an injury. Yeah. Tucker or Sedeeker, you just did that. So start, yeah, and start three McMillan Pickens, Higgins or Wicks, McMillan. Hampton or Harvey, half PPR. I still go Hampton. Yeah, me too. Tate or Abouka, dynasty. Abouka. I traded Ashton Gentie for Jeremiah Love in PPR, grade the trade. B plus. Do I trade Tutan and Olave? Do we do this one for Chase Brown and Waddle? Believe we did. All right, something close to it. I would equate this. Yeah, I didn't dance a or no, different. No, it wasn't this. It was a different Olave trade. Yeah, yeah. I think I would rather have the Tutan Olave side. That's a tough one. Should I propose trading Chuba Hubbard for Chase Brown? Chuba Hubbard for Chase Brown. I'd rather have Chase Brown. Tyler Shuck or Trevor Lawrence? Shuck. Sedeeker Waller. Waller. I have Devante Smith and Pukin Akua. Well, I think Pukin is going to play. But if Pukin doesn't play, which would play Bill or Woody Marks or Wicks or Malik Washington? I'd play Bill. And then half PPR, Hampton, Bill or Traveon. Oh, that's full PPR. Hampton, Bill or Traveon. Bill. Should I trade Devante Adams for Basel Tutan? To me, that's a wash just depends on what you need. I wouldn't do that. But it's close. Jacobi Myers or Chris Bell. Myers. If Aaron Jones has a good game against Miami, is he a sell hire a hold? I think he's a sell hire just because Mason, it's a thumb injury unless his, you know, situations that bad. And he's going to miss more than the next two games, right? Because he's already this is week two into it. Yeah. No, I would see if you could get something great for him. Sure. Oh, he must have left early in a game, right? No, Mason played week one. I think this is week two and three, right? Yeah, so he's already missed two games. He'll have this will be three. No, he played week two. He did not. He did not. He got hurt after week one. He got hurt during week one. Yeah, he's been an active two straight games. Okay. So yeah, definitely saw it. And then they have a buy in week six. So I would think Mason will be back in week seven, just a guess, but I'll be my guess. All right. A few more trade high on Christian Watson or keep him rest of season. Keep him. If lad is out, who is the least nasty choice? Tray Harris, Xavier Hutchinson or Ted Hearst? Tray Harris. You know, they don't have to start with letter H. You can look at other letters and rest of season golf or nicks that's golf. And is Jalen right? A must pick up. I think so, you know, just to see what he is. He's he's not them on HM, but he's closer to HM than then Olly Gordon's. So hopefully we get a few 11, 12 PPR point games. And that could be a flex. Good luck everybody in week four. We'll talk to Sunday morning at 8 30 AM. And then again, at noon Eastern to answer your starter sit questions. Have a great weekend. Let's get a win. This is fantasy football today. Talk to you soon. It was a gruesome discovery off a dirt road in Georgia. Hunters had found a body. Was it immediately clear to you that this woman had been murdered? Yes. But who was this mystery woman in the woods? FAQs

Omarian Hampton is a safer choice due to his strong matchup and consistent production. Raymond has potential but is more reliant on offensive schemes and injury status.

Yes, it's a strong trade for a 14-team league. Chase Brown is a high-upside player, and the trade provides a better balance in a flexible roster, especially if Bucky is struggling.

Go with Rishi Rice as he has better fantasy value and more consistent performance, especially in high-scoring matchups. Golden is solid but less reliable in PPR leagues.

Only if you have a clear need and Schuck is expected to be a dominant performer. In a dynasty league, it's better to keep Schuck as a long-term asset rather than trading him for a short-term gain.

No, if there's no collusion. The trade should stand if it's not done in bad faith. Managers should be held accountable for their actions, not penalized for poor decision-making.

Go with Daniel Jones if you're looking for a consistent, proven option. Marriota has upside but is more volatile and better suited in a long-term or dynasty league.
