Imagine a best ball contest with $100,000 up top,
but you don't have to wait until week 17 to get paid out.
That's what we have in the underdog lobby.
It is the first quarter contest.
It spans weeks one through four.
Otherwise, all of the same rules and settings as a normal best ball draft,
but tons of strategic shifts to make.
We're going to dive into that on off and on the clock today.
And we'll also hit a little bit of news.
How low is the Ashton Gentry ankle sprain?
How about Trevion Henderson's?
Do we need a prayer?
Circle for Keaton Mitchell?
All that today and more.
I will say like the Keaton Mitchell one.
I saw multiple comments in the discord ship chasing thread badge bros thread
about Keaton Mitchell.
And I'm like, what happened?
And I go and like refresh my Twitter list.
And I like can't even find anything.
I eventually Twitter search it.
I see one Mike McDaniel comment, but leave it to the deposit kingdom discord.
To be freaking out from one Keaton Mitchell comment there.
So do I need to be worried about?
No, I appreciate you bringing it up, Pete,
because I would I would like any prayer circle regarding Keaton Mitchell
for the remainder of the season based on the bags right now.
So to send some love Keaton Mitchell's way regardless.
What are you at?
Is he one of your most drafted?
He was he was up there.
He's up there.
I don't know why, but you strike me as a Kamani Vidal guy.
I slowly pivoted a little.
I'm both.
I'm by Chargers offenses right now.
Okay.
Nez, how are we doing?
Are we are you getting the candle vigil going?
Yes, but not for not not for Keaton, but for but for Bill, man.
Yeah, Bill.
I'm spooked, man.
It's not just because of this, because right now, Bill, like just recently
aggravated something, but he's kind of been dealing with stuff all offseason.
You know, when camp first opened, he was off to the side doing stuff.
And so this isn't the first time that he's had something pop up this this summer.
So I'm officially, you know, I'm a little worried.
I got Bill bags.
I got I got huge Bill bags.
So, yeah, that that's a that's concerning and definitely something that I'm taking into this contest as a as as a fade at the moment.
I've now it's just an annual tradition.
We chase Bill up into the single digit rounds and then he breaks our heart.
We're just going to do it every year from now on for the end of eternity.
Probably, probably.
Well, hopefully it's nothing.
They they they're they're they seem like they're not concerned, but I'm concerned.
What what are you guys doing with with Gentee, who now has the the lowest high ankle sprain of all time?
Raiders remain hopeful he will be available week one, but there's a chance he won't be ready.
This feels like bullshit to me.
There's no way this guy's playing week one.
No, I mean, this is a good segue into the contest we're going to talk about today because like, man, he should be plummeting like a rock in the first quarter stuff.
But.
But yeah, I mean, with with every prayer, it just keeps moving down the leg, does it not?
I I don't know.
I didn't have big Gentee bags to start things off.
And I've been kind of bearish Raiders offense in general.
So I'm not touching it till the third round in BBM.
That's for sure.
I mean, maybe I'd mix like a unique combo if I had like a Gibbs team or a Bijon there, but I'm not touching it.
The Gentee believers are so just in their bag.
I don't see.
I'm fall past like 16 right now.
Like he just he's just not falling at all.
So if I did see him at the one to the two, three turn, I would I would for sure take him there.
But yeah, he's like not falling at all anymore.
Like, yeah, he felt like it's kind of crazy to me.
I did a couple of my hundred and one dollar drafts at the buzzer when those were getting close to filling.
And he just went at the one to turn and like both of those drafts as if literally nothing.
Had happened.
There has been something with Gentee.
I know, obviously.
And, you know, we had the Rambis bit and there's a lot of people who love him.
Even when I was out in Vegas doing some of those high stakes drafts, people were just like taking Gentee at 105.
Like people fucking love Gentee.
And now they don't really want to budge on it all that much.
I guess in one of my best ball breakfast drafts, the one I did with Corain, I think he fell to 211 and we were at the one hole, I want to say, or close to it there.
So I guess it's.
It's room to room specific, but some people do not want to budge on it.
I said to Nez yesterday on the show that like, what's the difference in him and Jeremiah Love right now?
Like, what's the difference?
Love might play sooner.
Yeah.
I mean, it's a good.
I think the difference is Tyler Algier.
Sure.
Is the difference.
But I guess you could say, you know, Mike Washington is Mike Washington.
Our generation's Tyler Algier at this point.
Nez, you're muted.
Oh, you're muted, Nez.
You're muted.
Thanks.
The difference for me is that he's that Jeremiah Love has the confirmed ankle and Chenty apparently might not even have an ankle sprain at all.
I mean, like what we truly just just simply have have no no idea like what's what's happening.
So like the Raiders still haven't said anything.
All it is is like it's believed to be this.
It's believed to be that it's believed to be low.
What is it?
Just fucking tell us.
Just tell us.
What is it like?
They're playing so coy with this shit.
It's ridiculous.
And until I see see him on the practice field, man.
Yeah.
Like I'm going to have to wait for that for that fall.
And I'll say now.
I mean, I don't know where you guys are at on it.
I feel like people have been underreacting with Mike Washington.
I feel like you're kind of free rolling him right now at like one thirty one forty.
Like worst case scenario, you buy like a slightly more pricey Marshawn Lloyd and like that scenario.
He's like.
Should be going like pick 60 or 70 if Gentis missing six weeks, you know, or like, you know, something wild like that.
I don't know.
I I wasn't able to get him in any of the drafts yesterday, but I was ready to be a buyer in that like one thirty range.
Especially when we like his athletic profile, you know, like everybody was so hyped on him with his brows and just like his combine metrics and stuff like that.
And then he's also had good reps in preseason.
So all that like just adds fuel to the fire.
Right.
Like he's he's looked the part.
So.
Yeah, I don't know.
People jump.
It's a classic.
It's a classic hoop slate.
You know, people jump the shark early on there when people are all we're taking them in the fifth round.
Now, Davis is like getting in 100 puppies and you got to take them in the fifth.
And then all of a sudden the pendulum swings back and then all of a sudden it becomes like half decent value.
You're kind of seeing that with Keenan Allen right now.
Like I did a draft this morning and Keenan Allen's just, oh, back at 160 because it's like we got new things to talk about now.
So it's it's interesting.
I was just looking through my one on ones because I did all slows right at the buzzer there.
Just.
Couldn't get them in with fast this weekend.
But Jenty, the furthest he fell was 19 to a CMC team.
The other two drafts were 13 and 14.
So there was no no change whatsoever.
And those slows were I entered on Saturday and that would have been there in round two and a half now.
So it would have been right through this window.
You had to be conflicted, John, because on the one hand, it sounds like you're a little bearish on the Jenty injury.
On the other hand, new Jenty combos there at the top of the board.
I mean, you had to have been tempted.
I was.
I was.
Don't get me wrong.
If it was coming back to the other side, I was thinking about it.
The time box stuff, not as much, but in a couple of BBMs that I was shoring up over the weekend.
Absolutely.
I do.
That's where I was like, it seemed like Pat didn't want to take him if he had gotten back to us.
Or maybe maybe it was Sam.
Maybe it was Sam when we had the one on one with Gibbs.
But I'm like, man, just to have a Gibbs Jenty in that contest.
I'm kind of like, I think you just have to do it and just hope that he is like playing.
Like playing week one or whatever.
A hundred percent.
Yeah.
Any other new situations you're monitoring?
You mentioned the the bill one.
Trevion Henderson had the little scare there.
They make it seem like it's not going to be a big deal.
But I feel like for Henderson, it's just day after day, week after week, just more negative news mounting for him.
It's kind of a shame because like I can't remember who I saw.
Maybe it was Roto Surgeon who put it out on Twitter this morning.
Just that like you forget he had eleven.
Hundred yards and ten touchdowns, like eleven hundred scrimmage yards was like nine hundred and one hundred.
But like he was second amongst amongst all rookies last year in yards from scrimmage and touchdown scoring.
Like he was like a couple hundred yards behind Jenty last year, which is pretty crazy because he only had the backfield to himself for like a three week stretch there.
So I understand like the the hype that like BBG and stuff like that we're getting excited about.
But yeah, everything is telling us a different story.
Every report is telling us a different story there.
What are you doing with him, Ness?
Yeah, I've taken him a couple times, but I don't want to have him in too many more of my teams moving forward with this injury, kind of setting him back, potentially missing week one.
I think that would obviously be pretty bad for him to not be available for the start of the season when I think he just needs all the opportunities in the world to kind of show that, like, hey, I'm somebody that needs to be out on the field and I need my touches.
Because, I mean, all the reports right now are just that, like, man, I haven't heard a single positive thing about Trevion yet.
So I'm like super, super, like, it's not, he's not a bad pick.
I just don't like taking him.
I got him in a big dog.
I have him in like 6% of BBMs.
So that's that.
Am I like laggy, by the way?
I'm a little choppy on my end.
I don't know if you guys, if it's coming through to you guys that way.
You seem all right to me.
Yeah, you seem fine.
Yeah.
Okay, cool.
My big news is I officially have a new most drafted player in 2026 basketball.
It is no longer Jeremy Bernard, now clocking in at 18.6% Ramondre Stevenson.
Ooh, look at you.
Yeah, there you go.
Boring and safe dead zone back.
Way to go, Pete.
Wow.
Wow.
Already just, you know, I contain multitudes, Jeremy Bernard and Ramondre Stevenson.
I mean, I'm just like, you know, in conjunction.
We've seen Hendo slip like, you know, he's kind of ticking down and there really hasn't
been much steam at all coming for Ramondre and he's now that guy in the middle of round
six that I just like, you know, I still like Jaden there, you know, like the quarterbacks,
but Ramondre now just stands out to me as the best pick there every time.
Yeah.
I mean, they went straight back to him in the playoffs last year once he was finally
healthy and it was clearly his backfield and all the negative stuff on Hendo.
It feels like they're going to run it back.
Dave was on our show.
With us on, what was it, Wednesday last week or Tuesday last week?
Something like that.
And he was really in on him too.
Ramondre was amongst his highest own as well.
So you're in good company.
All right.
You guys want to talk some first quarter stuff because I think a lot of these injury situations
do really kind of dovetail with this contest here.
I'll get it pulled up on screen, but mentioned it a little bit in the cold open, but let
people know about this contest.
We didn't have this one last year, did we?
We did.
Yeah, we did.
Okay.
I don't think it was this big, but we did.
And yeah, I was pretty excited about it.
And I made it to the finals.
I didn't, I didn't like, I think it just meant cash, but yeah, it was, it was a lot of fun
to draft.
And I still think that there's a good amount of edge is this year as there was last year
as well.
People forget PD.
This was the OG FFWS structure.
Four week fastball.
You remember that?
I do, dude.
That dude, that takes me back.
Yeah, that was, that's, that's the stream still up on the, on the internet for people
to see if they want to find it.
Oh, that's good.
Um, actually before we do like the full one 80, can I ask you guys the, the potential
takeaways for, and maybe we'll get into it here with talking about like Rashad white
or something like that.
But is there any takeaway from this bill stuff right now?
Like, should we be moving white?
Should we be taking K Tron Allen in the same range that we're taking, you know, Marshawn
Lloyd and Mike?
Washington and that sort of thing or no.
You think, you know, a browser, but Gemini and Chrome, that's new.
It can help you with practically anything on the web, like restoring a vintage motorcycle
from a 50 page restoration block, or finally break down that long article you've had open
for weeks.
Ready to make anything online.
Makes sense.
There's no place like Chrome check responses, set up required compatibility and availability

This episode is brought to you by North.
The stylist who found the perfect outfit for your big interview, the first pair of walking

These are the moments that make Nordstrom Nordstrom bigger, small.
We're here for all of it.
Celebrating 125 years with new moments still add discover it all in Nordstrom stores and
at Nordstrom.com.
I mean, have we, I guess I haven't read enough about Katron Allen, uh, at this point.
I am curious.
Have we, have we gotten any news on who's stepping in and running with the ones with,
with bill out?
Because that's always been the concern is the log jam of bodies they have there where
we now have like clear indication.
Mike Washington is the, uh, is the two there.
So that's my only issue of getting back in on the commanders running backs.
Yeah, it is a hodgepodge of plotters more or less.
Um,
but yeah, so on this, this first quarter contest, $10 entry, uh, 46,000 entrants, as
we said, just weeks one through four, otherwise similar, you know, 18 rounds here.
We do have that a hundred K up top, which is awesome.
The advanced structure is the typical two of 12, but then only a one of six in what
would this be?
Uh, would this be week two?
Yeah.
One of six pod week three is a one of four pod and then a fairly big final there in week
four, 391 seat final.
So.
So if you've ever been salivating at the thought of, uh, you know, double stacking and a bring
back in week four, this is, this is your contest to do it.
There's a couple of fun games too.
I mean, dude, this is, this is a really, really fun contest, man, because it's like, you know,
we're so used to forecasting and regular best ball and thinking longterm, but like, this
is very much kind of like weekly winners ask, but like in a very much small window.
So it's kind of like a weekly winners ask, but like in a very much small window.
So it's kind of fun to actually look at some of these, like look ahead lines now for the
first four weeks, as opposed to like doing look ahead lines a week 17, where so much
is going to change.
But like, these are like pretty, this is like pretty actionable stuff in the first four
weeks.
And you can really kind of see who has a nice schedule.
Who's you can just, you can just glean so much from this paired with all the injury
news that we have.
I think it's really interesting.
And there's some pretty, uh, pretty interesting stuff.
There's some pretty nice values, uh, here because of this.
It's the perfect, uh, reset our brains for daily season.
Cause you'll see that the ADP right off the jump is just so, so different, uh, than like
our standard best ball contests and just like pushing straight into this.
It's like, Oh shit.
Yeah.
Game environment matters.
Totals matter.
Uh, you know, playing surface matters where these games are being played matters.
Like it's, it's a really good, uh, pivot into our Friday off and on the clocks effectively.
Uh, but for just four weeks, you know?
Yeah.
Because if you had to mash it up, it is, you know, um, I'd say an eliminator mindset, right?
Those getting off to that fast start, uh, you need the highly projectable plays those
first couple of weeks, but then you mix in the element of week four.
You still have to approach as a pretty large final there where those team stacks and game
stacking will probably really come into play.
So it's a, it's a fun hybrid of that.
Before we get into some of the, like the specific schedule stuff, I did just look.
Uh, ask my friend Claude here for what some of the biggest differences were, uh, you know,
Jordan Tyson, basically free two Oh 5.7 compared to his 93.9 Camara lemon.
Some of these do strike me as a buying opportunity.
Like lemon was what back at practice, um, there.
So if you're getting a discount on him due to injury, like that's pretty interesting.
Obviously there should probably be a rookie, you know, discount a smidge on, on some of
these guys, but the lemon one's probably a little too much right now.
Yeah, lemon one seems a little stark.
I'd agree with that.
Also the Alec Pierce timeline looks a little bit better, uh, as of yesterday.
So that's kind of fun.
Um, but yeah, most of these are appropriate, I would say.
Yeah, I guess burden could be another one.
You could maybe roll the dice on there.
If he's going 61.5, that looks like one I might be interested in buying in this contest.
Yeah.
Like, cause he's got win a slate upside on, uh, on, on a given day and they have like,
some half decent games to be honest.
Like they got Carolina, they have Minnesota and they got, I think the Eagles and the debts.
I think those were the four if memory serves.
So yeah, that's a pretty good, uh, pretty good buying opportunity.
The Monongah one should be where Alvin Camara is in my opinion.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He he's, he's a landmine.
He needs to be super newt.
Like he's, he's legit pop candidate.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If you, if you, if you end up on pop, uh, here, uh,
you are absolutely toast.
I guess it is an interesting one.
You know, how you think through a neighbor's, a kiddle, um, guys that it sounds like are
going to avoid pop, but that's still also a pretty disastrous zero to take if they,
they do end up on pop at the last second, which I think is still live for some of those
guys.
Yeah.
Nice to see that both of them shed the, the red Jersey the other day though.
They're both like cleared for contact now.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The red Jersey one, uh, for neighbors is nice.
On the, it is interesting on the guys who are going, uh, higher.
We do have some rookies like Malachi fields, Jacoby lane to John's dribbling, which basically
shows it does not matter.
The format, like the rookie hype is just too intoxicating for drafters to pass on.
But some of these other ones make a ton of sense.
Wix, you know, in comparison with the lemon ADP Algier with no, uh, Jeremiah love.
Holani has been a popular fast start guy.
Uh, they lay now, uh, without Tyson, Jacoby Brissett, who will feel confident about starting
four games.
So a few of these make sense, but, uh, I think you can make a case for a lot of other, you
know, fast start players who are probably undervalued here.
Yeah, I'll definitely make the case for fields.
I mean, he all, by all accounts, he's the wide receiver to locked in for the giants
and what's week one of Malik neighbors route, uh, route participation going to look like
is he, is there's just no way that he's like a hundred percent routes week one.
Is he, is he, is he, is he 50% like probably, uh, but I think that's
like where you start and like where you kind of take a little, give a little from, uh,
from Malik neighbors route share.
So I think, I think fields is going to be on the, on the field a, a lot.
Uh, so I think he's actually like a pretty interesting buy.
What is the ADP?
If you, if you hover there, uh, one 95 in the regular one 80.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like that makes a ton of sense to me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Especially I think the cheaper they are, the more viable, you know, fields at one 80, like
who can complain about that?
I think you could.
Say, you know, Dijon's dribbling, even with how good he's looking at pick 95, I think
he even got dinged up.
Like you can certainly see scenarios where if Evans is good, Kittle's good, Debo's good
where it's like, I'm still very excited about stripling, but it might be more of a mid to
late season play ultimately than just scorching the earth weeks one through four.
Also very weird set up to the start of their season, playing in Australia, them in the
Rams playing in Australia, then coming back and hosting.
Sunday games.
So they play Friday in Australia and West coast travel to there's like 14 hours, 15 hours
or whatever.
Like you're not making that back with two extra days rest.
You know what I mean?
Like, yeah, yeah.
The, uh, Brady says who has the easiest schedule for the first four games?
Well, boy, do we have the graphic for you?
Uh, do you want to get there now, John, or are there any other specific ADPs you'd like
to, uh, discuss here?
The, the one I wanted to discuss was Tyler Algier.
Um, obviously, uh, Benson getting waived.
We'll see what happens there.
If he ends up on another roster or finds his way to a practice squad or something like
that.
Um, but Connor, uh, trending correctly, uh, recently as well.
So I don't know, man, I wouldn't, I wouldn't be shocked.
I know they paid Algier.
They love James Connor in that room.
They love him as a leader.
They're outspoken about that sort of thing.
I would not be shocked that even if Jeremiah love wasn't there, or if he was like a 40%
snap, healthy, inactive, like a healthy kind of semi-active for week one, that that's just
a three-way split on one of the worst offenses to start the season here.
I don't know that I would be doing this steam up Algier as a one-for-one with love, especially
when, you know, Connor could find his way to 10 touches in week one as well.
Well, we'll also look at their team totals and their schedule here in a second as well.
The amount of expected positive game scripts and touchdown opportunities for
Algier off the rip is, uh, it's going to be a pretty sobering look.
I mean, just other macro stuff, right?
I mean, the whole like zero RB thesis guys without standalone value.
Those are really, really hard clicks.
Like we are all very excited about Marshawn Lloyd, but I mean, he's a pretty bad pick
in this format.
I think any of those guys that need true, you know, a Brian Robinson, right?
Like guys that have to have an injury to probably crack your lineup.
You're probably swinging back to guys like Spears.
To Samson, to these guys that might actually have a little standalone juice.
If you're going kind of like late round running backs.
Yeah.
Um, two, two that didn't show up here that I'd just be curious on your guys'
thoughts, Tyler Warren with the groin injury and they've got him down for a week.
You know, he gets the elite tight end treatment and he's getting drafted in the
same range as he goes in BBM.
Uh, any interest there, any downgrading, like they might be really thin for past
catchers.
In these first four weeks here, he goes earlier in here than he does in BBM.
Yeah.
So that's, that that's, I don't love that.
I don't eat like just thinking it through, right?
The whole reason we love the elite tight end in the bigger contest is what they can do
from a pod separation standpoint where they can really outscore the others.
I mean, your pods in this one, it's one of six and one of four.
So you really are looking just at week four.
Is being like, okay, can I get the nuke week here?
So I guess you can get granular in that, but where my mind goes is this feels like a
format where I, I like the idea of stacking up my tight ends with the quarterback as
much as possible, even more so in a traditional format where you're really just
trying to hit that hot offense.
You're trying to like bank one or two really good games from that team over the
end of the game.
And so I think that's, that's, that's one of the things that I'm looking forward to seeing
in that final pod as well.
Good chats.
Another injured tight end.
Laporta.
He goes earlier in here than he does in BBM.
Good show.
I wonder if that's a, well, I guess golf goes plenty after him.
I'm trying to think like, what would be, what would be driving that?
I just think that the, the, the drafters in this contest are just like, I, I don't know.
I don't know.
Maybe it's the team totals for the lions off the rip.
People are excited about the schedule.
I don't know.
I just think that the drafters in this contest are just like, I don't know.
I don't know.
Definitely.
Or we could just be applying too much logic to what's going on.
Yeah, I don't know.
It's pretty silly, though.
That just doesn't make sense.
There's no way to make sense of that.
You get weird quirks, right?
Like JMC mentioned this one here, CMC ahead of Puka, which intuitively I get it in that
it's like, okay, the running back, let me get those points.
CMC's good to go at the beginning of the season, but now he's also not practicing right now
and dealing with tightness.
And it's like, is CMC?
I could see if you thought there was a strong tear break, like maybe over an Amin Ra or
whatever, but we're talking about Puka, JSN.
I don't think I'm taking CMC ahead of those guys.
I think that's a good pivot into the schedule stuff, because they play each other in week
one, and then we can look at what the rest of Rams and Niners look like, because they're
obviously going to have big, high implied team totals here.
But that Niners week four, which is our week 17, versus Denver, I don't know.
Hey, I mean, dude, 24 and a half implied team totals, still not bad.
Oh, for sure.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So we have, uh, Nez whipped this up for us.
If you guys are audio listeners right now, we have the implied team totals here and then
kind of sorted by the highest average.
So you can see Baltimore here at the top averaging 27.2, and they have that big week four team
total there against Tennessee implied to score 28 Cincinnati, uh, and Chicago, the other
big ones there.
Um, obviously the best teams projecting for the most.
Points in week four, but Nez, anything that jumped out to you when you were putting this
together?
Yeah.
So I think just, just to kind of tie it, to bring Malachi fields back into this, if you
just scroll down just slightly, uh, the giants are 16th, which you may think is like, you
know, so what, but in terms of average, but that's over Jacksonville over the commanders
and over the Patriots and average team total and their team total of 26 and a half is one
of the highest.
Yeah.
In, in, in, uh, in week four going up against the Cardinals who that is a trend.
Anybody that plays the Cardinals is expected to go berserk and yeah, I think the giants
are a pretty fun team to get in this contest and there there's a lot of ambiguity with
the team itself.
So, um, yeah, I think there's, there's value to be had there because of that and trying
to get those giants to, to week four, if you can, if you can take them to the finals.
Yeah, that is crazy to look.
Cause a lot of these teams, you look at the band of their implied team totals and it's
pretty tight.
Like look at Chicago, 24, 24 and a half, 24, 27.
You look at the giants week two, 19.5 on the road against the Rams.
And then they're up at 26.25 versus Arizona in 24.25 versus Tennessee too.
So like back to back, really nice home matchups there for them.
Makes sense why you also liked, uh, fields a little bit more knowing that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Just like a fan of that, that those two weeks for sure.
Um, the, the bottom ones, I mean, we were talking about the Algier stuff, right?
I mean, 18 points here.
They're expected to score 18 on the road at the chargers, 17.25 at home versus Seattle,
17.5 versus, uh, at San Francisco.
And then 19.25 versus the giants that does make the Algier stuff tricky where you're
like playing for the early work.
And yet the game flows might not even allow for it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, the nicest thing you can say is that, Hey, maybe we get 40 pass attempts to Kobe
Brissett because we know Brissett's going to be starting.
And that was, that unlocks some fantasy goodness at the tail end of last year.
Uh, maybe it's a little bit more of a spread target tree to start the season this year,
but at least we know it's going to be Brissett and probably just trailing script slinging
his heart out.
So maybe, but the Algier stuff, it does not appeal to me at all.
Yeah.
I mean, what about Cleveland?
Like that's another one, Nez, where, you know, Judkins.
I know you like him a lot is going to be able to, you know, touch the ball as much as he
can handle these first four weeks, but then you also look at their implied totals.
They're right down here in the same kind of Arizona Cardinal levels.
Are you, are you in on Judkins in, in this contest, knowing the schedule?
And I am pretty sure that this is, I ran this right before I sent it to you this morning.
So I think that this is updated with Deshaun Watson, uh, at QB it's yeah, man, I don't,
I am not, I'm not trying to draft too many Browns in this.
I don't think, um, yeah, yeah.
I mean, hot take, but yeah, Judkins is not somebody that I take very often.
I've only, I'm done, uh, 35 of these so far and I have like two Judy shares, two Judkins
shares and a Concepcion share.
So yeah, I would say of these bottom teams, like most of them make sense.
Arizona, Cleveland jets, Miami, Vegas, Tennessee, as far as in the bottom 10, Denver is probably
the best team that stands out to me as one I'm like pretty excited about generally whose
team totals here don't look good below 20 at KC.
23 at home versus Jacksonville, 21.25 home versus the Rams.
And then 22 at San Francisco, uh, that just stood out to me.
And then you layer in some of the ambiguity with their running back room.
That's maybe a tougher buy than you'd normally expect.
Yeah, I could get on board with it.
I like it.
New Orleans was the one that stood out to me.
Like New Orleans was like, I was like run to the podium here with how concentrated they
could be missing Tyson, missing Kamara.
Uh, and then you go.
You know, Detroit never lets off the gas and you can try and go band for band with
them.
Baltimore, you most likely play catch up and then you get this Vegas and Atlanta both in
the superdome.
So I, yeah, new Orleans stood out a little bit more to me than, than Denver did, but
I could see it.
Denver, Denver ambiguity in the running back position is a good way to like bink some wins
from your like fourth RB slot more so than like new Orleans is like, you'd have to thrust
up those top end.
Pieces kind of thing.
Yup.
Yeah.
And you can certainly spend, you know, TD says, I like Bo versus the 49ers.
You could see them in a shootout with the Rams as well.
Um, but yeah, some of these that we were talking about it in our, in our group chat, just some
of these totals are humbling, right?
Because we, we dream on all the ceiling outcomes for these skill position players, right?
You know, Jeremiah love Trey, McBride, Michael Wilson, Marvin Harrison.
You're like, how is this team?
Never.
Projected to score more than 20 points.
It's like something has to give in some of these spots.
And we spend all off season hitting the dropdown menu on the totality of their stats.
And it doesn't show you the game by game game log stats.
I get ready to learn, you know, five points from Jalen Waddle in, in week one or something
like that, or get ready to learn whatever, you know, insert, insert other example, because
it is, it is a humbling reminder of, Hey, there's only one football and there's probably
only three touchdowns going to be scored.
Uh, and hopefully they're all on offense.
I'm kind of shocked that week one jets and Titans that the Titans are favored, I guess
just at home.
Uh, that's the only real reason.
Yeah.
I just have, I, I, yeah, I guess I just have like super rose colored glasses on, on the
jets and Gino there, but yeah, that's, that's kind of shocking to me.
What have I spent you this, uh, this picture that G.
You know, could be, uh, this year's version of Jacoby, uh, D gaff slinging it there when
they go, they go green Bay, Detroit, Chicago, and they just got to play catch up for those
last three.
Yeah.
I'm so, I mean, that's any, any positive narrative on Gino.
I'm going to, I'm going to be with you.
I'm pretty excited about him in this offense.
So, uh, not that I expected them to be like in the top tier here, but I thought they'd
be favored over the Titans.
Yeah.
So, yep.
The other thing you don't have to worry about, obviously with this one in it's baked into
the totals, but like the weather stuff, right?
Like you don't, even in the outdoor places, late September, early October, you're not
having to worry about, you know, blizzards in the same way.
We just want to be like dome maxing in, uh, in the week 17 contest.
Okay.
Cardi save that for week 80.
That's right.
Let's see.
Cardi should update his language from dome boner to dome maxing.
Uh, I think, uh, I think.
I think it's time to get him on the kids.
Uh, can I just put, uh, three games on people's radars, uh, week one, uh, that San Francisco
and Rams game in Australia.
So the weird travel and whatever, there's also an international game in week three.
That's Baltimore and Dallas.
That's only Brazil.
So a little bit of a shorter stint travel, but still pretty long from Baltimore to be
fair.
And then Washington and the Colts in week four international game, Wembley international
games, just in a vacuum.
Um, I don't, I'm not smart enough to regurgitate it all right now, but I just want to put those
games on people's radar that, you know, you know, maybe something's a little different.
Yeah, no, that's a, that's a good call.
I mean, what was the last game to pop off?
Was it that, uh, that, um, Packers Eagles game in Brazil, that game went a little wild,
uh, but I feel like in general, those international games are just almost universally duds.
Yeah.
And that one, that one, to be fair, was that the Friday night, like week one.
So maybe, maybe Rams and, and Niners is less to be scared about, about week one, because
they get there early, they get situated, they get acclimatized and then they play it more
be like the week two angle of it.
But, uh, yeah, there's also, I would just, is it?
It's surprising to you guys that Baltimore is like the top offense here.
Like I would have assumed Detroit, San Francisco, Rams, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Dallas, like they
just, they lose some weapons there, you know, kind of banged up.
They have this rookie, uh, crop coming in, but they they're willing to play slow, you
know, in, in some of these spots, I'm kind of surprised that they, they are sitting here
at the top.

Speaker 1 : Which team was that again?
The, uh, yeah, I think it's schedule based.
I think it's, you know, you get.
Speaker 2 : Tennessee.
Speaker 1 : Yeah.
And, and three like good, good weather early in the season there, a couple of dome games
or three dome games rather.
So yeah.
Speaker 2 : Yeah.
I, I like them.
I get it.
I've, I've seen a ton of Derrick Henry, uh, believe it or not.
I mean, Henry seems like the, I mean, you want to look at ADP stuff here.
I mean, Derrick Henry is going 13.9, so he is going ahead of Walker here, which I don't
believe is the case in BBM.
But I mean, wow.
Like you look at this schedule, like couldn't, can't you make the case that Derrick Henry
should be going where Christian McCaffrey is.
Speaker 3 : I have him ranked over Christian McCaffrey.
I have him.
I have him ranked six.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Love it.
He's a smash every single week.
Look at this.
Like, what are we doing?
Speaker 2 : What other share, share the rankings alpha Ness.
What are the other big, big rankings moves you've made?
And then we'll, we'll get into draft here.
Speaker 3 : Uh, I have Jonathan Taylor, uh, fourth.
So, uh, he's got a tough matchup with Baltimore week one, but I still think that's going to
be.
He's got a lot.
And then he gets, uh, uh, not, not too bad of a schedule while he has Houston there,
but they're projected for 22 points, uh, and then commanders week four.
So just, you know, buying in on Jonathan Taylor and those running back points that I think
he's going to project some of the high, uh, project the best, uh, throughout, throughout
this contest, chase Brown and, uh, Hampton are other big ones for me as well.
Hampton for that week, one matchup against Arizona with Keaton Mitchell banged up a 20
and a half implied total.
Yeah.
They probably win you that pod alone.
Seattle is a pretty tough, uh, matchup in week four, but you still like you still get
Hampton in the, in the highest, uh, implied total that you see.
Well, one of the highest implied totals that you see here, uh, is, is obviously pretty
good.
I have also like a ton, a ton of Debo, um, he's, he's really cheap in this.
He's 120.
Uh, I think.
I think that's really cheap for stripping a rookie starting out.
We don't know what his role is going to be.
Kittles coming off the Achilles, uh, Christian McCaffrey's got tightness, but he's back.
And then Evans Evans just got dinged up again.
So like, I think Debo is like a very, very good pick right now with, with this schedule
that he has.
So I, he's, I mean, I've done 35 drafts.
He's on 30 of those teams.
Wow.
Yeah.
And are these fast onlys or you've been in slows?
I think they're fast only I've only been doing fast.
So.
Okay.
um look at you man you're getting oh no they're doing souls okay well it's four hours tomorrow so
yeah good luck with that uh i'm just emerging from slow draft hell i don't think i'll be
entering it here uh again uh john any other takes on on the schedule or things you'd be
thinking about here uh no i think we pretty much covered it i just kind of ask you guys
i've been thinking through this dynamic of is week four all that matters or should we be
balancing the schedule in like equal threshold you know like two out of twelve one out of six
one out of four 391 so like if you had to wait each week you know are they weighted equal or
are you waiting more to that week four window i'd probably say
wouldn't you go if you were to rank these weeks would you go week four week one week three week
two
you
for week one yeah i think i think i agree with that 391 final and then you head to the two of
twelve um which i guess is one of six same as pod two and then or maybe you would go did i say
week two so week four week one week two week three right because yeah yeah i have to flip two and
three yeah yeah i agree because again we talk about what is the most projectable thing it is
week one um as far as um the most information we have like there could be spots where uh some of
these injured guys maybe come back week two or week three the groin injury lingers like that's
the other thing too with you know the groin guys right like you know even if they are playing they
could be limited the first two weeks and that's the other thing too with you know the groin guys
right like you know even if they are playing they could be limited the first two weeks and that's
have them limited two of the most important three weeks in the contest like that doesn't seem great
right yeah um all right you guys want to uh draft see how this how this works here oh don't give
come on guys not like this not like this not like this one underflow two underflows yeah you guys
have fun competing against each other let us get derrick henry uh here while i try to
work on this i can do the uh the crane deposit trick that i i learned or you can try on mobile
here in a second that that'll always get your location right somebody somebody in uh in chad's
chat today uh because uh shady was telling somebody that if you do hit the deposit button
it'll clear up and was like see even shady deposits sometimes
okay i did get in on mobile so let's head over here now
and uh there we go did solver roll out anything for the it would be nice to have the schedule if
they had that do they have that no do they they might do the the correlation buttons though
because that's what okay that would be cool that was the only thing i wanted was
just the weeks one through four schedule up there as you drafted it would be cool
mm-hmm our guy um spike uh made his own hud and shared it with yeah yeah did he really that's yeah
yeah i gave him some tips i told him to throw in some of the the vegas stuff on there so he could
get a better idea but yeah it's it's it's pretty sweet man he said he worked all day on it it's
like yeah good for him yeah i mean people are grounded for these edges out here i like it man
we talk about the niche sports or different sports how about just different contests like if you
figure out this contest before others figure it out yeah seriously uh i think this worked out
perfect mr brad said join in underflow all 12 teams are badges um you know who do we who do we
so that's soft uh what else do we have in here strammy mario i guess this is all badges pretty
much too here other than badger fan uh 102 is that uh how we feeling about bijan in this
not not good at pit ain't great not good at green bay week three ain't good
yeah i mean it depends what you how you weighed it because that that monday night football late
night hammer at new orleans seems pretty good in week four so
go back and get them through okay no never mind it to me it's it's chase like this bengal schedule
i think is just so good sure i'm down yeah and then we can thinker and then we just hammer hammer
hammer running backs after this i mean it's the two least important weeks but they play at houston
at pit like stramar chase man who's who's holding who's holding him down jpj he hasn't even signed
his extension he might not even be there
27.5 at home versus tampa that'll be a shootout and then home versus jacksonville another shootout
potential um yeah even on the road at pit 24.5 compared to atlanta that it's a full five point
less implied team total for atlanta on the road at pit compared to to cincy
yeah you kind of get the best of both worlds with cincinnati hot start oh go az cards where do you
get your
ideas the big dog baby let's go yeah yeah i'd say in revenge narrative too that's that titans in
week four too i never even thought of that has he ever played against the titans probably not
yeah uh i now see uh send texan eggers to non-youtube members uh complaining about ads on
the channel i don't make content for you guys for free um you can become a youtube member and maybe
i'll start to hear your your whining other than that i'll give you the banner you'll get an ad
and a banner
you'll get an ad and a banner
telling you to suck at eggers wouldn't that be nice if you two could be if you could do no ads
for youtube members yes i would i would click that button in a in a second yeah seriously that'd be so
great take some of my money away but it would definitely definitely get people to join then
then then it's the best of both worlds spam them with ads get them to get them to buy the membership
i mean or how about this how about this for jeremy where no one sees ads but eggers and it's just
two hour stream of straight ads he has to watch them for
everybody nothing but blue chew ads for eggers
all right uh other interesting movement here in this round one uh henry goes ahead uh bijan chase
brown uh again similar thought of being in on the the bangle schedule he sneaks into round one here
i i do wonder nez like i guess the amount of drafts that have taken place here we probably
are still pretty in flux as far as adp
um i don't know if you guys have any thoughts on that i don't know if you guys have any thoughts
on it or not having a huge sample size to it oh yeah yeah for sure this is this is still very much
in its infancy so very very much uh inefficient in my opinion what are you guys thoughts on uh we
didn't really touch on uh i mean obviously we touched on the arizona schedule and whatnot but
we didn't really touch on the notion of elite tight end like i've been going through uh a lot
of our master class right now and spoiler alert elite tight end did not perform overly well in the
this year it feels like we have a pretty good class of potential ceiling tight ends to kind
of go band for band with the bowers and mcbride tier or do you think hey if you just get 35 from
your tight end you can you can just move on in this contest so is the vorp conversation part of
this or not i mean i haven't been doing a lot of elite tight end so for me it's been a lot of
for for me zero bowers zero bride zero think about it to mcbride literally the lowest implied team
totals of any team vegas bottom five i think the one you could really justify is loveland because
you could have burden banged up you have these awesome uh team totals for them here you have the
second tied for the second highest in week four yeah loveland is probably the strongest elite
tight end thesis in this contest
yeah good call especially with the guys right behind him like warren being banged up and
laporta being banged up like that vow the value of loveland just keeps climbing for multiple reasons
yeah really really good really good call there okay uh genti sliding as he should uh bowers here
nico london if we want to look at running backs you're too like giovante uh who's probably in a
i take a ton of kyron yeah yeah i think i think if we want to just be like hey we got anchor chase
right now i think there's like two really good early season running back targets here that
make sense on the left side giovante goes did you did you float neighbors john i'm sick i think you
need a little bit more of a discount on him in this format right my brain's broken i i how about
how about etn aka hn
or swift i i think you can rip it in on swift here either or swift without manunga yeah yeah
so you do swift without manunga same thing we were just talking about with loveland
24 at carolina 24 and a half home versus minnesota 24 home versus philly revenge game
27 home versus the jets like it that's nice man that's really nice feels good good start here
uh let me float you guys a question while we got a little time here uh i guess it would have been
two years ago
three years ago when we got all excited about uh clint kubiak's saints offense and oh they're
gonna score 40 points a week and shock the world
world last year it was the colts and it was like holy shit where did this colts offense come from
danny dimes won someone a br slate i believe it was week one it might have been week two
what who could be that shock the world uh offense right now that throw the implied team totals out
the window that we're just like you know this is the scroll that wins us week one
i mean do you just go back to clint kubiak
okay and say yeah dude
yeah and just say just say their their schedule isn't that bad and they'll just be in these
negative game scripts and chucking uh they play miami week one that seems fun or you know let's
you know save some bullets man because if we get mendoza week one he's gonna get that danny dimes
week one treatment where he's got like the you got you could bake in some rushing upside for him
like toward the goal line genti's banged up i don't know uh the the one the one team that i
think is is kind of worthy of it that's to me interesting is the panthers um dude their
schedule's not bad
so
chicago's supposed to have a terrible defense they get chicago week one then they go to atlanta
in atlanta then they go at cleveland who browns is the browns and then they and then they face
the lions the lions have a terrible defense it's a pretty fun schedule there for for carolina
man anyone playing the lions like someone said it in the chat earlier it was probably jury just
spreading uh lions propaganda our way but like the anyone who plays the lions because they also
don't put their foot off take their foot off the gas is also
just like so bullish you get the dome plus they don't take their foot off the gas narrative
uh also i just want to say this contest being free from the tyranny of bi-week bros i mean
what an amazing feeling to be able to draft a team and not have to worry about that i might
put out an overlay that just removes the bi-weeks i don't even want to see
but make the overlay actually look like a little red like kind of highlighter
i don't want to just disappear it's just scribbled
yeah super galbrain hedge against the entirety of your portfolio and unique combo in this contest
stacking all week 11 together on one team
not as well right all right we are gonna pick here at 4 11 we started with jamar chase came
back and grabbed kyred williams and deandre swift this is the first quarter contest only so we are
looking exclusively at weeks one through four
here which is why jeremiah love has an adp of 48.8 and is undraftable even at that price
damn it waymo baby waymo at 44 fun yeah i have a ton of him igbuka with that that turf toe isn't
great i will say man like dj moore um seems fine to me here with their team totals what about like
if you want to get spicy too like a remandre pull up i think is tooting for tooting for me
tootin's good with that week four correlation yeah so tootin gets uh the the bangles obviously
and then uh starts off against cleveland so yeah that that's nice okay yeah good call there on
tootin i mean we continue to get kind of like positive speak on both rodriguez and tootin um
their schedule is going to be be solid here for both of them but yeah buffalo is looking at for
dj moore houston detroit i'm looking at for dj moore houston and i'm looking at for dj moore
chargers new england we are on the clock here strong yeah i'm good with dj moore i'm good with
davante adams i would yeah i'm probably davante but um yeah yeah let's the stingly stingly
treatment in week one there yeah davante's schedule is nice um niners giants broncos
eagles third highest average of team total it is leverage off of the other early uh
adps too like if we want to play that game like that matters more in isolated weeks than it does
in the entirety of bbm so like we just made our bet on like the rams but it's going to funnel
through like these two guys and not puka this episode is brought to you by google chrome you

we're here for all of it celebrating one
hundred twenty-five years with new moments still had discover it all in nordstrom stores and at
nordstrom.com right yeah i think it's the biggest highest correlation we saw last year was running
back plus wide receiver in the brs yep yeah and i mean adams we just know how he i guess yeah the
the kyron davante you probably um you're hoping one of those uh crushes you're hoping one of those
crushes for you two weeks and the other hits crushes for you the other two four touchdowns uh
or two two touchdown games uh two for kyron two for adams jewish asks if you got elite tight end in
this contest you do a single tight end i still would go multiple in that you're gonna run into
the pod dynamic thing right like i guess a one of four in week three maybe there would be a variety
of tight ends who would make it to the finals but you're still probably likely to see condensed
ownership on the top couple tight ends in a way you'd
probably want an extra out would be my guess yeah i think it's fine in theory but yeah i don't know
that i would actually ever do it yeah it's actually a good point theoretically speaking it's probably
fine to do elite onesie elite onesie but in the same vein that it's theoretically fine in weekly
winners but it's probably minus ev yeah i agree with you yeah i'd say but i i don't think i'd do
three on elite tight end builds even if you think there's value in it i don't think there's value in
it hitting a flex because ceilings required every week except for week three effectively
yeah yeah i'm with i'm with you on that yeah
the chris godwin in his new adp right here yeah that's sharp yeah playing the the push
pull of the the agbuka thing yeah yeah yeah that would be a good uh
like nez when you were putting together your ranks i feel like just going through the full
set of injuries and just like pushing up you know the guy's oppo uh it would probably be a good way
to start a ranking set yeah yeah 100 that's god godwin's really high in my stuff you know it's
kind of uh i want to talk about two players that i'm just looking at that's just kind of weird
uh i guess three the rashi rice one is very strange because like we know he's going to be
playing and he goes at like the two three turn every day and he's like oh my god i'm going to
time like we have collectively not really been rice guys but him going to 40 when we know he's
playing and is going to be healthy to start the season feels a little weird london falling like
way further feels a little weird and then price just being like can we get what ceh did in his
rookie season with that first two touchdown game when he has the backfield all into himself
uh hopefully and they're resting they're bullish on them yeah yeah i mean and they get arizona week
227.25 uh washington's defense will be fine chargers i mean yeah the team totals there
indicate they're going to have a ton of success uh all right we are about to pick here love love
here's man let's see no nobody wants to catch the phone i think rico is a really strong pick
probably um as far as just like what you're expecting touch wise
um i like qj as well okay or read yeah let's start qj here with the chargers they do have
that nice schedule 28.5 to open versus arizona a little tougher week four at seattle
you guys like the spikier profiles in this format like reed and metcalf and qj they're
they're like the ceiling shooters or is that fugazi no that's what i like
yeah yeah reed was a good shot i was just curious the the the pocket here caleb goes i kind of like
the idea of sitting one more round for for quarterback but we could also pull up someone
like you can you can just take daniels here after that i'd take a little bit gone close your eyes
and take daniels and he squares 25 points for you who cares about the stacking dynamic play naked br
yeah i think we can do it his schedule isn't awesome i would say they're down here 19th at
philly at dallas should be a shootout home versus seattle's not great then home versus is fine
decently
leverage there if you can get them through probably going to be hard ish to get commanders
in there but if you do yeah you're you're loving that matchup i think yeah the nice thing you could
say is everyone that they play is like supposed to be good offenses so hopefully we get some back
and forth where offense supersedes defense yeah but yeah international game week four as well
isn't great yeah why is love here this is the yeah first quarter but even then like so he goes 77
um i do think there's there's a price uh for all of these guys i i still find that like
probably a smidge high like i i want i think rico's gonna outscore jeremiah love first four
weeks he has so many things going against him so he's got the high ankle he has tyler algier
and there they have dog shit team totals so like yeah all of those things combined
i think makes jeremiah love a pick like where he goes you know i mean
the projection i think might shock some people week one when they when they open them when they
open that stuff up i don't want to oh go ahead i was just gonna say i don't want to give it away
like what we're gonna do next but like there's there's two maybe three guys right now on the
green button that i'm like why the hell are they down here yeah the yeah i think so our team so far
now we have we had chase up top then we go kyron swift tootin come back grab adams qj at 71 jayden
daniels here uh and then you see like brooks love henderson come off the board yeah i just i think
you take rico ahead of those guys in this format i agree yeah yeah henderson might not play week one
yeah and i do think there's a price on all of these guys where it gets intriguing like
you know what if the love timeline does accelerate
we still have a long way to go until week one you know we can see turnaround stuff especially
for these guys who are as physically gifted as jeremiah love on the other hand it becomes an
opportunity cost thing like once you're looking at blake quorum and a banged up bill and a timeshare
harvey that's where it's like okay the risk reward on a guy like love is probably worth it
at that point but i think if you have like legit volume eaters a guy like rico who's going to
project for what 15 touches a game for four games in a row um with goal line action and then you
have a team that can do a lot of the work that you need to do and i think that's kind of a good
thing to do and i think that's kind of a good thing to do and i think that's kind of a good thing to
do and i think that's kind of a good thing to do and i think that's kind of a good thing to do
mm-hmm yeah dobbins kind of that same vein there he was one of the ones on my short list there
there's still two there you you mentioned one of them i actually think harvey's a little bit
safer um than than you alluded to that's true but but he's got the floor with the receiving
and coleman as much as there's buzz building on him is likely unlikely to be a factor early i mean
chat talking about jk dobbins definitely a good pick but we mentioned the schedule thing like
their their totals were lower than i anticipated like dobbins on the road at kc week one doesn't
sound that fun to me no divisional game three-way backfield but uh there's still one on the board
that's like blowing my mind that i'm like this is this is like a pound table podium right now
and it's gonna be so disgusting a pound the table yet it's disgusting that's
that's your brand yeah who is it it's chuba yeah chuba could get 20 carries in week one and he's
just sitting here i like chuba carolina home for chicago at atlanta i'm good with that yeah you
could also stack up rashad white too if bill isn't good um looking at quarterback stuff um
i mean the detroit team totals are are very hard
to ignore just what golf could do um if you wanted another wide receiver this is a pretty flat tier
yeah addison's interesting i was about to say addison going right beside
striveling like that miami miami week 14
or week four rather week four yeah 25.5 there
all right we're on the clock what do you guys think i think addison or a quarterback
yeah addison probably you want to push quarterback i think so so with daniels yeah
yeah it makes sense to just grab grab a spiky guy in addison yeah daniels is promised land for us
and like stafford coming back if the non-puka drafter doesn't take them it's like an easy
pairing yeah and like um what do you win when you win like i know the totals are really nice
for like the lions what do you win when you win with naked golf like i don't think it's
i don't think you i don't think you win the finals um yeah the finals it's an issue i think
it could definitely be a get you to the finals play for sure yeah that's fair yeah chat talking
about uh chuba uh isn't he hurt right now everything says that uh he's on track for week
one and that as td says here if this was week one he would have been practicing i think they're just
playing it cautious with him here yeah both him and price seem like they're just like slow playing
to not get them hurt or anything like that yeah i think they're just playing it cautious with him
more hurt and and they'll be ready for week one cuba was at the podium yesterday if you're
a subscriber to the mike nuggets there um yeah chuba at the podium was talking about it
and he was just like man shout out the mike nuggets i've been loving those in my uh
my uh uh very uh highly curated curated fantasy football list where i just need
the good stuff as i catch up on news it's been a great addition yeah shut up dave
oh nez someone asked in the chat you should tweet out the uh the first quarter
uh graphic you put together i think some people would probably like that if you if you're down to
tweet that out i'll share yeah yeah absolutely unless you're keeping all that alpha i am
on the computer and stitch it together i'm keeping it for the ootc you know diehards the
guys that are here every single day no matter what we draft you know leave it for them the real one
yes yeah see robert don't tweet it now how about this you got you got to start uh you got to become
a badge bros youtube maybe that's where you posted john or net yeah post it on the badge bros youtube
member um youtube post there we go how about i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm gonna cover up some of these
some of these teams you know mr mystery box yeah make it make it a a classic like bit thing on on
twitter and like put like cover like five of the teams guess which totals these are the
uh if you guys want a mike washington price check in here he goes 105 i think that's a very good
pick yeah i think that's totally fine in this format yep
there's ways to go wrong but yeah but also you could get an rv1 so i would say here i'm definitely
very interested in kyler on an addison team um when we were talking about who could be like this
year where there's like the danny dimes new the offense feels completely different i mean minnesota
strikes me as uh as someone who could do that for sure yeah really good shout out there pete and
really fun schedule too like you know they're divisional games but like green bay chicago
before the field gets bad tampa who's always been a pass funnel and then miami in the finals like
here's the other one we should talk about that uh and i'm just trying to like how anchored am i to
just seeing his adp here but likely with
a perhaps um banged up neighbors to start you could also do aaron jones if you want to rip it
in on the vikings early i think likely me too me too yeah i'll capitulate there yeah yeah the other
one there is if the timeline for pierce is as bullish as they're kind of like slowly trending
i mean maybe it's not the most exciting thing in the world but he's a bring back off of the
week four stuff uh and he's like the prototypical
game environment pusher you know yeah i like the likely i mean nez flagged the giants um as having
kind of a surprisingly good outlook from a team total standpoint um we still would ideally like
to hit a spike at tight end neighbors most likely going to be limited we shouted out malachi fields
but realistically you know the offense could funnel through likely uh the passing game there
those first few weeks so as much as i think it's going to be a good game i think it's going to be
at his price in the the season-long contest weeks one through four i pick 122 look pretty good here
yep
manung guy goes 126 um man like i think you got to take like c rod over manung guy right
yeah absolutely i i think you could take c rod like way earlier than than this that's a nice
price at 127.
yeah just based on that schedule man my my classic is that he gets dusted by the end of
the season by tooting and they're just like all right we can't but like early on i feel like c
rod's gonna get every chance he can yeah what are you gonna say john let's let's do the classic uh
off and on the clock uh pick them forecasting right here uh genti is out week one and we have
the las vegas raiders against the miami dolphins
or you have the jacksonville jaguars versus the cleveland browns who's pick them odds
for a touchdown are higher washington or chris rodriguez probably rodriguez yeah just because
of the split nature yeah and i feel like they might i guess it depends on how bad the genti
thing is is if they were compelled to bring in someone but i think the combination of the team
total and i think i'm guessing the market will assume like c rod is the favorite for week one
goal line touches even over tootin um i think what you have a 23 and a half point team total
for jacksonville you'd have a 22 i wonder nez do you think this implies genti's playing or not
when you pulled this i pulled i'm that's a good question i
i
i'm
i don't know i mean i did refresh this this morning so um i think it's in flux for sure i
would bet it's middled a little bit probably drops more than it rises so i was trying to
work through in my head the some of the rookie wide receiver stuff here i think at 143 when we
talk about baltimore schedule you layer in the bateman risk um i think i'm open
to jacoby lane here for sure i'd take keaton allen well keenan can come back if you want to try to get
both okay yeah i'm going i'm good with lane um i guess the thing i just feel like even though i am
still very into keenan it's more from like the floor he's giving you like do you feel good
about the early season spike i mean at this price i'm i'm completely good with it
the schedule's fine you get week one correlation keenan and jacoby lane going back and forth there

uh the other option would be to pull up chig here for the tight end stack because he's probably not
coming back to us i'm good without chig with or without without i kind of like it for the stack
man that was my only thought you guys go it's our one shot
yeah like this is where john just shuts down he's just like you guys just got
mugged
you got it you got it you know it's 2v1 it's a fair it's a fair uh it's a fair play why don't
you want the stack in this format we need that week 17 or week 4 jayden to chig juice maybe it's
just me being biased about chig but like i'm just looking at a wide receiver depth chart where you
have a banged up tight end who's supposed to be the phone call point you might have a banged up
wide receiver as well and like keenan allen battling out with ashton dueling like give me
70 of snaps of
keenan allen for four weeks when we know he's healthy and his legs are decently fresh at the
start of the season yeah yeah i can see it i still think like the keenan thought is like he's a really
good bet to give you like 9 or 10 and probably a really poor bet to give you 15 yep i agreed with
that assessment for sure uh general blue where does godwin go in these very high in this one
he went pick 60 and i don't i don't think that's bad at all um with the
big bukka stuff early on
no not at all
here's the squad so far 2452 chase up top kyron deandre swift tootin three running backs in a row
come back with two wide receivers davante adams and qj we grab our quarterback in the seventh
jayden daniels john sprinted to the podium for chuba hubbard in the eighth grabbed back-to-back
vikings there at 9 10 with addison and kyler scooped up isaiah
likely in a contest specific move there in the 11th jayden lane in those juicy team totals in
the 12th chigaconquo the stack there in the 13th we haven't talked about the minnesota schedule a
ton but it's it's pretty nice uh 24 points versus green bay 21 at chicago that could be a shootout
21 and a half at tampa could be a shootout and then 25 and a half week four at home versus miami
so even their two lower totals like at chicago at tampa those could be games where they are
pressed to throw a ton
yeah they could be pushed and we might have bad defenses on both sides and they might both be
past funnels so it could be fun and soldier field's okay as long as it's uh early in the season like
that yeah uh brady says it's holani draftable i think he's still draftable in this format
specifically we're not gonna have charbs um the price stuff is still i think kind of a volatile
situation even though he's a very good pick i think holani is definitely draftable
yeah there's there's there's like a tier of running backs at the bottom of the table
at the back end that like in bbm they're like not that great of picks because they're like this
will they have the backfield to themselves will they whatever but in this format where it's like
hey we just need like a usable score usable week like i'd put holani in the same tier as like um
justice hill like something like that kamani vidal where it's like these guys can play 30
percent of snaps and like not everybody spikes right like your first round pick like people forget that
like in in a weekly scoring format that like people don't spike for like the the the numbers that we're
accustomed to like we want them to to move us on but like as much as chasing ceiling is important
you can also like you're gonna need like a guy who's playing versus a guy who's a healthy and
active right and at least holani we know he's gonna be in there for third down sets he's gonna
be in there for pass pro and like the bull cases he gets 12 touches in week one right yeah
the uh chats going wild kareem hunt visited with the lions today do not draft isaiah pacheco that is
your psa um about to be on the clock here do you guys want to mess with any stacking with hawkinson
or joan jennings or get more spicy than that i'd lean to hawk me too yeah yeah get that that tight
end stacked up yep yeah that feels that
feels good yeah he slides to pick 167 we're at five wide receivers here running backs you're in
like the tracy no thanks spears jonah coleman tank bigsby pacheco sharps this is not a spot
you want to be looking at running backs um wide receivers uh trey harris is intriguing if you want
to like phantom stack the chargers uh fornoy with those team totals um what do you guys think i i i
like floranoi in this contest yeah i like floranoi like yeah massive contingent value but also
has a known role like if you just happen to spike based on those team totals you you spike one of
the touchdowns and take it away from those first two round picks there or first i guess there's
three of them going in the in the first two and a half rounds there like that's so much
leverage to just take a touchdown away from picking cd or giovanna yeah yeah good point
so we add hawkins in there so we get the kyler double stack with addison and hawk we get
floranoi tacked on at 170 uh yeah it's interesting too you look at so many of these guys here and
you know guys we've been drafting and a lot of different formats that are just really unappealing
here whether because of team totals or because of injuries or because they're rookies like omar
cooper who is likely to do nothing at the beginning of the season uh it's a little tricky here i mean
this is what this is the cooper cup ass contest i'd say so yeah yeah
yeah he makes a ton of sense here
shout out to the chat loving the first quarter drafts here if you guys are just tuning in this
is a contest that's just weeks one through four you want to talk about a six stemmy after four
dropping into your underdog account heading into week five i mean can you imagine a better feeling
think about all those the bombs you can punk imagine it hey we're all looking for the guy
i actually went back uh when i was doing some of the master class stuff and just like looking
through some of my results and stuff and then we just click on like random bomb teams and be like
what the fuck was i thinking
eight percent owned quarterback with
like a two percent owed wide receiver for no reason in like a thousand person contest or
whatever 600 person contest yeah at least you can reflect just flexing on them oh okay
so those two were on my short list they're cupping and booty i was curious when booty would go
i don't mind the shout from uh 7f here what about ted hearst with igbuka it's kind of like a cheaper
version of the jacoby lane play where he could just be out there right away and they're just
not a team that i'm worried about slow playing their rookies either like he he feels like a guy
they're gonna just have to throw out there and let him ball right off the rip yeah they want to win
that division's winnable and baker's good and you got to shoot out in week one against jamar chase
as well so it's a little bit of bring back action off of that like when we're doing off and on the
clock that first friday for week one that that that game is going to be looking quite appealing
to us just as a thought exercise like what are the running backs you'd indulge in this range i
mean nez is this the naji harris contest i'm uh i i made a vow of silence to to naji harris bull
bull posting on my own
shows so you're gonna have to ask john all right oh there you go never mind i'm gonna take that as
a yes i i'll throw out a name here in a second that that i like i like i like justice hill
okay i like justice hill a lot like those implied totals like he's there they trust him with the
money like he's instant leverage off anyone who goes early eat both i'm fine i i think i like
a little bit more okay
yeah good with you i do think by doll is pretty interesting they're then they're both gonna have
roles right like you know like four points might matter in this contest or like six points might
matter in this contest it's the difference between you advancing or not would you guys go for tight
ends uh if the the right name was here who jumps out to you uh i think darren waller i just saw
something bearish on him that he might not even make the team no way really
yeah all right then then the doll is cool
wide receiver we can just you want to do vidal and then look for a wide receiver in the last round
sure yeah i think vidal is pretty interesting yeah it's like like someone like calvin ridley
feels like you know it's kind of been a bit of a meme all season long that like you know he's just
if you use the etr stuff he's just staring you in the face from round 16 onward or whatever but
like he feels better in this contest does he not
yeah yeah that's i think that's objectively true i guess the the age-old question and it's similar
with the eliminator right is like i think i i understand the the thesis behind hill and vidal
the question is should you be in a spot where you have to take running backs this late in this
contest or do you want to just generally try to avoid that yeah definitely but like you know
just depending on how some of these games go with how high these totals are you could get blowouts
and um you know
just trying to capture some upside a little bit if we do want to look for some week four is all
that matters plays opposite our stack so washington with jayden and chig they play indiana
um week 19 week 19 week four here and then minnesota plays miami um like a little chris
bell action is a it's kind of spicy there mm-hmm yeah
i mean he might yeah it sounds like he's gonna be good to go week one which is really really
interesting he's gonna play this weekend that's awesome yeah you could also i think because we've
been kind of going in on baltimore i think you could just say nothing ever happens just take
rashad baitman as well and and play a couple of spikes between lane and baitman those first four
weeks yeah i kind of like that idea yeah who do you who do that streamer thing where you give away
all the
yeah if you if you guys were building week one projections right now just knowing what we know
about miami who would you project to be the target leader in week one take a chan out
honestly probably still dulcich yeah okay or were you asking for for yeah no it doesn't matter just
who would lead the who would lead the any pass catcher in uh how about this i would say that
i would the
field over dulcich if you gave me the field but if you made me bet on one i would bet dulcich
okay if that makes sense for for non-achan targets yeah yeah yeah i think dulcich
i think we might get shocked and be like i do you know who's a good pick here
i think taekwon thornton's a good pick just with kind of all the injury you know musical chairs
with the chiefs and i i just think he's gonna play like a shit ton those first few weeks we're all
excited about this we're all excited about this we're all excited about this we're all excited about
cyrus allen but that still you only need one target to play yeah you only need one target to
matter yeah james connor's a good pick too i mean honestly the the team totals are bad but calvin
ridley's probably in the mix here he's gonna he's gonna run the most routes here like for sure
calvin really should not be going later uh yeah i would say bateman or chris bell
uh yeah i'd probably just take bateman i think i'm i think i'm bateman
yeah nothing he's not getting suspended anytime soon
no and chris bell's like just big time fancy zero even though it's a bring back like he might be a
stud but it might just be zero yes um okay here we go team in the books what do you think john
i was looking at that sean tucker pick did you guys see the reports about him potentially not
making the 53 yeah that seems insane yeah that does seem insane yeah i mean it's like i probably
will call bullshit on that but i guess it's more like it's more like it's more like it's more like
more concerning of like okay maybe shouldn't be drafting quite as much of him maybe gainwell and
bucky could really condense touches here i mean i feel like there would be multiple teams lining up
to get sean i mean imagine sean tunker as the contingent back behind jameer gibbs yeah i mean
imagine how excited we get excited about gibbs or uh tucker cooking there yeah no fully agree
like that great fit patriots.com
shout out charlie kohler going mr irrelevant in this draft it does not matter the format
charlie kohler is always in play here's the team first quarter uh this this contest is so i had a
ton of fun drafting that i'm gonna have to get in some more of these uh jayden daniels and kyler
murray uh so we go with two quarterbacks there kyron swift tootin chuba justice hill kamani
vidal at running back jamar chase davante adams qj jordan addison jacoby lane ryan flornoy rashad
bateman and then three of them are going to be in the draft so i'm going to have to get in some more
retied ends likely chig hawkinson i guess i don't have a ton of teams to compare it to but i like
how this one shook out yeah dude these are fun like i think this is just kind of a i hope that
we get some people in here that wouldn't normally play it because i mean i know we got a lot of
basketball drafts to do before week one but like telling you man this is a pretty this is a pretty
sweet contest and i think we kind of helped uncover uh some some good strategy here so i
this team seems really good nezzy how quickly could you pull up the
the the final from the first quarter that you made last year uh or any of them
i want to know if i'm crazy or not let me see let me also make i'm pretty sure i made the final let
me also make sure well it doesn't it doesn't matter i'm more concerned about uh week one to
be fair i'm trying sorry i've got what's what's your thesis that you're cooking here john my
results don't load at all my thesis is that i'm going to be in the draft and i'm going to be in
that like six points in your lineup matters because people forget how fucking hard it is to
score fantasy points on a week-to-week basis on a half ppr site like when you look at this lineup
like we're going to score seven touchdowns and they're probably going to be consolidated to like
four guys and then like something needs to hit our flex that is the differentiator about pushing
our roster over the cut line that somebody else doesn't have
i have it here do you want to share a screen yeah
and oh my god sorry i did
it just went away but it'll take me two seconds to bring back up i love the reps in the chat as
soon as i am i crazy and then it's like don't need a finals team to know that one or yeah i can tell
you the answer is yes already you are crazy is it this is john's gonna be laying laying awake in
bed
tonight just stewing over that chigga conqua over keenan allen pick just trying to be like
no keenan allen was the right pick no i'm just kind of curious from from a theoretical angle
like i and the result won't give us the answer i'm just kind of curious like
if nez advanced a team did did did it have like a three point in it
all right so the winner was uh jordan love 26 points yeah so the winner's gonna be all ceiling
j dubs adunze at 14.9 pickens with 29.4 and then hunter henry put up 11 is there any way for us to
see week over week scoring like you can see like your week one advance from this he should uh yeah
you want to see week one yeah because i want to see like to get out of your pod and get paid as
you get out of your pod like what your what your score was what score was required for you okay
looks like i did 50 of these
- Just pick any advancer, yeah sure.
- So this is gonna be my best one.
i think is that is that my best one yeah yeah apparently 151 was my best score week one okay
so 24 from caleb 28 from henry 16.4 from hubbard i didn't even get a jt score here
oh that was the that the dimes right yeah that's that's the thesis reminder okay
mm-hmm hollywood nice week one there uh keenan evergreen uh pitman zay and then nine points from
trey mcgronk okay interesting okay let's go to yeah go go to your second place because that's
a cash line team yeah this is yeah that advanced so uh caleb cmc kyron connor you know 12 13 points
13 points from jacoby here nothing from aj brown
nothing from ray ray mcleod if you can believe that and then uh 10 points from uh from john
new smith yeah so it seems like mean projection from tight end being like this the lowest score
of the bunch to get you over the hump which in a vacuum would make for tight end bad
because my theory might be wrong that you do need like at least 12 to 13 points yeah it's probably
wrong but like would you rather have a fourth tight end or ray ray mcleod you know right yeah
that's a
key problem of course but you know i'm just saying like some of these
uh wide receiver you know wide receiver eights and nines are like i'm so there's your four point
scoring stock at eggers at the bottom the week week one in this format really is um kind of a
mind fuck right where it really is just it's kind of like the weekly winners thing right when we
tap through and it's like they're the three guys that scored 30 points like at the running back
position like week one in this contest really is about finding like the two or three guys that go
crazy like nez talked about omari and hampton being a guy who could just single-handedly advance you
uh out of that week one pod um just finding a nuke or two in here man that two but 15 points in at
pick 90 is gonna hit like crack in this tournament isn't it oh bloody absolutely carolina john just
wanted to run back last year chuba and keenan allen week one both of them this is hilarious but i had
60 percent jonathan taylor in this christian kirk and these are dusty man and i was i was i was out
here saying this contest is easy and i'm dusty ass to exposures hey i mean that that you're
running back the thesis this year with jt but that's derrick henry in this contest so yeah i
isolate the guy that you think could go burr and have the schedule and colts overachieved they
were over indexed for the first eight weeks of last year whatever before um i guess it wasn't
even eight weeks but before danny dimes got hurt there like they were like six or seventh best
offense yeah go easy cards mentions last year two of five advanced this year is just one of six to
get okay the final 100k in prizes last year yeah we did 100 first that's crazy the appetite was
there man for sure yep so plenty of time um
to draft this one it's at 32 percent uh man i my only my only regret is i wish that this one had
fallen more in the uh the slow draft window so i could get in some slows here because i don't know
how many paths i'm gonna be able to get in yeah for sure um sweet uh what is your guys's uh what's
your schedule this week uh safe and e today this is it for today i don't have time for uh baseball
i gotta go rip up fucking more baseball
boys uh blue collar lat out here uh but then uh we'll be back full full uh the rest of the week
here lots of football in there and a couple behind the paywall baseball's mixed in and then i have
promised the people multi-sport so basketball and hockey are coming i do promise but i i might
just have to get this office moved and set up and it'll come next week beautiful uh is this uh are
you you moving into a new place john yeah i've been back and forth between the two for the last
week and a half here and officially out of here in five days so yeah i'm full court uh what's what's
the new set gonna look like uh that i was gonna ask you about after we were off air here uh just
based on how your camera was arranged and stuff like that but the stumps i think the stumps are
gone and i got a bunch of memorabilia that i can put up behind i got i got some really cool stuff
to be honest uh so i'm letting the wife design it but we'll see okay sounds good uh no strip
nez first quarter tonight sick you guys are crazy man i've been too i've been hopping on too many
people's channels at night like my i think my wife's uh starting to get sick of the month of
august i i got envy right now nez because i've been asked a couple times i'm just like haven't
been able to do it yet so soak it up while you can at this point in the calendar and then make
it back to her uh as soon as football starts do it with the best ball stuff yeah this is great
yeah no she she likes it she likes it i'm done what did i see were you drafting a

very chaotic and fun uh we'll have the swole cast today at three got to get some jed york jokes off

yeah always gotta see we'll see if he gets the walrus going again i'm excited to see uh jam to
win always comes in with some katrine takes like right off the hop that he's pre-workshop so i'm
excited to hear what he has to say on best ball
goes like close to his vest until the end of august and then he kind of like
lets some stuff be known so i'd be really curious like where he's over the field and such right now
i just i have a feeling like i've done enough shows with jam to win and again i haven't seen
