Week 4 Fantasy Football News: Puka Nacua, Braelon Allen, J.J. McCarthy & Start/Sit Advice (Ep. 2233)
34m 35s
The live stream discusses key NFL storylines heading into Week 4, focusing on injury updates and player performance. Puka Nikua is expected to play for the Rams despite a hip injury, with fantasy managers debating whether to start him after a strong return. Drake May’s shoulder injury raises concerns for the Patriots, though he remains in practices. For the Dolphins, Jalen Reeves’ injury makes rookie Gordon a likely RB1 in their tough matchup against the Vikings. Breece Hall is seen as a top fantasy option for the Jets, while the Panthers’ injuries to starting cornerbacks may lead to explosive performances from Jamison Williams. The Bears’ quarterback situation is uncertain, with Case Keenum’s win over the Eagles sparking debate over who will start and whether Ben Johnson holds a defensive advantage. Fantasy managers are encouraged to prioritize tight ends and running backs in trades, with Kyron Williams and Travis Kelce standing out as valuable assets. Finally, the Giants’ trade of JD McCarthy for a backup quarterback offers a potential fantasy upgrade, especially if James Winston struggles, though his long-term role remains unclear. The analysis provides actionable insights on player health, matchups, and trade strategies, emphasizing the importance of injury updates and situational matchups in fantasy football decisions.

What's going on everybody? Welcome to the tailgate. I am Andrew Erickson here flying solo. Welsh is off doing Welsh things, things that Welshes do. But don't worry. We are back here talking about the top five story lines heading into NFL week four because the people needed. So welcome to chat. Welcome to the live stream. If you have questions, comments about the topics that we're breaking down about the NFL. Don't be shy. We are here to answer your questions and have a lot of fun along the way. So the next 30 minutes buckle in and let's have some fun. Breaking news came before we just started the stream. Pukka Nikua Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver reported by Adam Schaefter to be expected to play in week four. According to head coach Sean McVeigh playing on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Pukka Nikua experience has not been fun for anybody invested from a fantasy perspective. Not been great for the Rams. Although Devonta Adams has more than picked up the slack in terms of his two monster games the last two weeks. As a Devonta Adams fader and fantasy football the last two weeks have been very, very painful to watch. But I do I did always kind of acknowledge at the back of my mind that this was always possible. If Pukka were to miss time, then Devonta Adams would be an absolute smash. So at least things are looking up for Pukka Nikua. This growing hip sports hernia injury. It's kind of all over the place with the reporting. We've seen some other things kind of trickle out that it could be a sports hernia that could require surgery. So we shall see. But for now it looks like for week four Pukka Nikua is going to be out there for the LA Rams. And if you haven't been fantasy, you're starting him and you're excited. We'll see if he survives. They flowers came back from his injury in week three. And was absolutely fantastic despite playing on a pitch count. And I can already see the fantasy questions piling and about Pukka Nikua, do I start him? He's going to be on a pitch count. And for me, it's you're going to fire this guy up no matter what. It must be get more information. But this has happened before I believe. I don't know if it was his rookie year or two years ago. On like a Thursday night, Pukka was questionable. And then he played and he just absolutely smashed. So similar to the Brock Bower situation that we saw in week three. Bower is the first two weeks of the season. Came back, absolutely went nuclear. I just can't bench that type of upside. Now we also have some other breaking news here. It looks like Patriots quarterback Drake May popped up on the injury report for the first time season. What the team is calling a right shoulder injury. May was still a full participant at today's practice despite the injury designation. Have we reached Patriots shoulder gate with Drake May? It all stems back to the shoulder. The shoulder was the reason why he struggled against the best defenses in the NFL. It's why he's been struggling to start the season for the England Patriots. I know that's kind of been a interesting topic that people watching Drake May looking at his mechanics the season because he hasn't looked right. I'm more in the camp that he's not seeing the field the right way and he's pressing and he's trying to make to any plays. And even last week there were plays left on the table. The turnovers were inexcusable so so bad across the board for Drake May, but there were opportunities for him to actually score points. The Patriots drove the ball into the Jaguar side seven times on the Jaguar side of the field, but the turnovers miss field goals. They could not find the end zone. Mac Collins dropped the touchdown. Kyle Williams ran a bounce with a what had been at 50 yard receiving touchdown. Miss Romeo dobs miscommunication. He had a 21 right out brushing touchdown. That was called back and obviously some of his interceptions were absolutely brutal and who could forget the misplacement of dropping back to throw the ball goes out his hands and then he talks about how well my center bled all over the ball. It's really human Jacksonville and that's why the ball slipped out of my hands. So still making excuses for Drake May. I'm trying not to do that even as the Patriots Homer the Patriots stand here at fantasy pros slash betting pros and on the tailgate obviously you can see my background a lot of paths merchandise. So I believe blue and then right now Patriots are bleeding a lot of blue based on their offensive performance over the last three weeks of the season. So maybe it is all the shoulder injury. Maybe that's why it's playing bad. But if that means he is playing through injury and that's why it's playing bad then why should we expect anything different. But that will be a another topic for another day as we break down the top two store lines just breaking right now. But let's dive into the top five store lines that we came in to today looking to break down all the Gordon running back for the Miami dolphins. Probably saw him in your fans football being picked up up the waiver wire this week key and jail and right hot debate discussion at the water cooler at the bars this week for sure. Who's going to be the RB1 for Miami dolphins and doesn't even matter because they're facing the Minnesota Vikings and Brian Flores and a hashtag revenge game a lot of revenge games this week which we need to make like a segment on some show maybe on the tailgate about revenge game season doesn't matter doesn't matter. But I think Brian Flores is going to throw everything he can at the Miami dolphins team that obviously they had a awkward to say the least ending to that relationship in his tenure in Miami. So some of the comes from the billbellicic coaching trade. Yeah, I'm sure that there's some bad blood that he's going to remember when he faces the Miami dolphins especially based on the state of their franchise. Oh, and three probably going to be oh and four after they face the Vikings lost their best player to Von H and last week. So I think that's going to continue now with all the Gordon really depends on what we see from Jalen right. I don't know if Jalen right was practicing today. I'm not sure. Sal behind the scenes. If you can give me an update on the Miami dolphins injury report if you want to throw it in the private chat. But TBD on the status of Jalen right. He was dealing with a stinger slash foot injury and that's really what kind of put all the Gordon into this monster role back in week three, where he's basically playing every single snap for the Miami dolphins. He didn't see any touches to another running back after HN got hurt. He played and touched the ball basically every single time for the Miami dolphins among their backfield mate. So if Jalen right is not playing, I think that Gordon is probably going to be the RB one, how he will perform it is TBD because it's just a really brutal matchup. Although after rewatching what he did last week. I was more or less impressed than what I think I was expecting. I was expecting more of a bruising to have performance. But I thought he actually did make a couple of decent plays. He definitely does have a lot of power to his game. And I didn't think he did make at least one nice catch. So he does have a three down skill set. He's obviously not as good as HN. But I think for right now, tentatively, he looks like the dolphins are you one for what it's worth. Do you have a question here before we hop to our next topic? M-D-A Harris is Aaron Jones a lineup lock? Would you go with him or Chase Brown to want to Smith or Chuba in the flex full PPR? Thanks for the question. M-D-A Harris. Thanks for supporting the channel here on the table. Remember, subscribe to the tailgate is a lineup lock. I think so. I mean, he's facing the Miami dolphins. It's hard to really bench any offensive player when they're facing Miami. I was talking about it on the ranked show. We actually discussed Aaron Jones on the fan express ranking show, myself, Pat Fitzmorris and Tara Roberts. Again, filling in for Welsh, who's off doing Welsh. Whatever Welshes do this time of day and this time of year. So it's really hard to bench him. I would say over those types of players, though. I think I actually prefer all those guys. I guess you can make the argument that the Vante Smith might be the odd man out just because he's a wide receiver. So the position is always a little bit more of a wide variance. But Chase Brown, the volume he's seeing Jacksonville Jaguar's matchup should be a shootout. I don't want to bench him. Chuba Hubbard. Again, another player that's seeing just a massive workload. My argument against Aaron Jones was just that. Can you keep this up number one? Because it seems like this guy is one hit away from just being carted off the field on a structure because he's just taken such a beating over the last two weeks. And look, the team loves Aaron Jones. I just don't know how much longer he can handle this massive type of workload. So it wouldn't surprise me if against a team like Miami that's actually been better against the run than the past this year. I mean, you can pass all day against the Miami dolphins that maybe in this consideration, he actually would be a bench, but still a good player to start regardless. Unless you have really other great options, but it's a good problem to have end day Harris. So before we get to the next segment, I do actually want to talk about our Todd Gurley signed Rams. Jersey, if you want to win, Todd Gurley signed Rams Jersey. And this is your shot. All you have to do is
subscribe should tailgate youtube channel right now drop a comment below on any video and that's it. We'll be announcing it when you're right here on the channel to make sure to turn on those notifications so you can know new videos are up and to claim your prize. Todd girly man what an absolute legend absolute legend of fantasy football just that dang degenerative knee injury. Next topic sell if you want to pull it up. I don't remember what I put for number two here let me. Yes. Braille and Allen. Sizzin. New York Jets. So we're just shaking up all these backfields here this week. It's a fun week for fantasy because we get all these running backs and they're running backs don't matter mantra. This is where that comes to mind the most when start running back goes down back and comes in smashes it's like always don't matter although that's really not been the case over the last couple years when we've seen a lot of these running backs smash in a big way. Before we do break down braille and I just want to follow up on the Jalen right limited participant on Wednesday to be expected. So TBD make sure you go check out the fantasy pros are they playing tool to get more updates about Jalen right but right now based on his limited participation Somali Gordon's probably going to be the guy at least this week but may not be the guy in future weeks. Braille and Allen though I feel like actually I like a lot more specifically for this week and for future weeks what Breeze Hall is kind of on the shelf dealing with this thigh, bruise injury. Braille and Allen is a monster. One of the youngest players in the NFL despite that he's packed I think it's his third season but he entered the NFL at age 20 former Wisconsin Badger shout out to Pat Fitzmore's and his Badgers. He's a tank and I think that through the first three weeks of the season we've seen Braille and Allen kind of check off all the boxes of game explosive. He ripped off a big run in week one. It got called back because due to a penalty but can rip off some big plays. It's the Bears matchup like that's solid. Not ready to call the Bears the 85 Bears after they stopped the Vikings in week two and they stopped the Eagles offense because Eagles like we know can't really get out of their own lane honestly take one Barclay was the only thing that was kind of working for that Eagles offense on the ground really efficient in the first half obviously Eagles kind of abandoned the run game in the second half on Monday night football feeling Braille and I don't confine some success here for the Jets offensively last week he had four targets and in week two he had goal lining red zone opportunities so they clearly trust Braille and Allen with some of these high value opportunities and high value touches so yeah I think that he's going to be in for a solid outing and honestly excited to kind of see this kind of play he has an absolute monster a unit as the kids might call so I'm excited for Braille and Allen to see how his backfield shakes out do the Jets man Aaron Glenn not going to be the first head coach fired I think that was one of my bowl predictions early in the soft season and at the time it was like man how is this possibly going to happen but then like Todd bulls isn't a really really tough spot here especially losing Baker may feel don't know how that team is going to recover the bucket years I've said on multiple shows but that team has taken on water the ship is going down well Jalen Daniels be the savior that the bucks need I may be I don't think so I don't think so all right let's get to some more questions here before we get to the next story line to talk about I'm also just trying to keep pace to make sure I'm not missing any other breaking news items nothing there so Bucky Irving did appear on the injury board this week but I don't think that it's anything super super glaring all right Carter Strange S S K a super chat appreciate it Kyron Williams burden or Monty slash Garrett Wilson rest of season so this is just a generic trade man I really like Garrett Wilson's season I don't like Dave Montgomery Dave Montgomery seems like a potential not usable piece at some point during the season so I think when I go to the Kyron Williams and lose their burden honestly I really like Garrett Wilson I think he's the guy value the most but I think it's close it up between him and Kyron where Kyron is just going to do his thing and Kyron did shot last week over Blake Koran which has not always been the case for the first two weeks of the season so I think did Kyron lose the burden here burden has proved me wrong for the first three weeks of the season leads the bears and targets over the last three weeks even with Kelly foramen being the prince that was promised and I mean the ship of cleave Raymond on the batten cover man what were they thinking awesome dev drop a shot white or calm and I'm going to pick up Travion Henderson yeah I'm going to drop a shot white it looks like he's injured dealing with a shoulder injury the team had Austin Eccler so my this year's Giovante Williams take for a shot white's not coming to fruition he's just banged up right now so I think I would actually pick up Travion to for a shot white so awesome dev appreciate you in the chat as always that's the move I would make Stephen Garcia full PPR pick three like Buka Golden neighbors McClaren thanks go no thank you Stephen appreciate you watching the tailgate appreciate you guys hanging out man I'm just dude talking ball on a Wednesday afternoon love it man best place to be right now for this week not playing a Buka golden's in neighbors is in McClaren's in there you go fade the box Mark Andrews from E tub ETW burn Mark Andrews or Shadik rest of season PPR if it's Mark Andrews basically versus anybody I'm not going to say Mark Andrews so this will be Canyon Sandik for me that one is easy another question from ETW underscore burn Monty or DJ more than a second flex PPR I'm going with DJ more man the Mont so the Dallas Cowboys they write is that them is the match up bringing people back to Montgomery I'd just be careful I'm so going with DJ more another update from my guy Sal behind the scenes appreciate you Sal Jalen Waddle practice in full today which is very good because he was seen after the game or I think it was on Monday or Tuesday wearing a boot it's like full on boots see I know it's like fall and people want to rock the boots you know girls wear uggs I mean Tom Brady wears uggs so ugg season pumpkin spice season but boot season like all these people are just rocking these boots after their games but I barely it's more like precautionary than anything like oh it's going to be a very severe injury so Jalen Waddle good to be in let's see you bounce back 49ers suspect secondary shoot out bonix's quarterback so it's going to be roller coaster no matter what but hey saddle up baby it's why he's on the Broncos saddle up last question here before I get to our next segment our next storyline pat fan oh nine eight seven go pat should I trade Watson for breeze hall jade Williams or two and and two and Christian Watson or not so I guess it got before all three then if it's javante Williams yes I think if it's Jamison Williams I don't like it obviously as much I think it's still a yes if you're really me running backs I think that this is a move that you would make especially if it's javante it's Jamison I don't hate as much but I don't like this much obviously but I think that this is a good trade so let's get to our next storyline here number three cell reminding again what we got get that graphic in here for the number three storyline panthers oh this actually dovetails right well into the Jamison Williams discussion Mike Jackson and JC horn the panthers two starting cornerbacks both placed on Andrew preserve this week dude if this is not the Jamison Williams week I don't know what we're doing I don't know a Dan Campbell drew pet sick what are we doing here folks I get their playing outside because you always got to be careful whenever Jared golf steps outside to play football because for some reason the indoor cat just takes over but against the Carolina panthers another cat you got indoor cat versus outdoor cat it is a cat battle here and Sunday night football so I think Jamison Williams this has to be a place you start him in I think that he's a player that has big games this has to be a spot where he explodes so that's why they want to bring that up because the panthers aren't dealing with a lot of injuries right now having lots of the guard injury so I'm expecting Bryce Young assuming he's healthy I know he had his ankle imaging done so we shall see we're seeing fireworks Sunday football so that's a game I'm actually looking forward to a ton and we're going to be talking about it on the tailgate myself maybe Welsh if he's back if he's not doing Welsh things and Pat Fitzmorris should be a lot of fun hi this is highly breakman angel Case Keenum did the unthinkable, beat the Eagles overrated team on Monday Night Football. Fall is game, really, from Case Keenum, who Ben Johnson masterclass with a third string quarterback, being able to take down a look. Eagles have their offensive problems, but their defense has also maybe been a tabit overrated for the first three weeks of the season. I know I pointed out how their run defense had not been great on one of the rankings shows a couple of weeks ago. And the Bears obviously were able to do it, kind of everything that they wanted to. It passed effectively down to Swift, was able to run the ball effectively. Now, it does put the Bears in a weird position where do, they actually believe Keenum is the better quarterback, because he wouldn't have been the QB3 all year if they actually felt that way. Or is it, well, we got to ride the momentum of Case Keenum, or is it one of these scenarios where lighting struck with Case Keenum, they got the sun run, and now it's like, right, that's probably not going to happen again. Let's go back to Tyson Beijing. We actually think is better. So I'm interested to see what they actually do here. I think Ben Johnson was talking about going back to Beijing. I don't know if we have actually any confirmed about who's actually going to start. I mean, if I'm Ben Johnson, why would I tell Aaron Glenn, which quarterback I'm going to start, you know? That's another really interesting markup about this pitch, pitch or matchup against the New York Jets, is it's Aaron Glenn against Ben Johnson. Now, in the past, Ben Johnson has had the edge in terms of these offensive coordinator of defensive quarter matchups. I know that he had been pretty successful against Brian Flores. Defenses, obviously, that didn't work in week two. Brian Flores ended up having the last laugh, but five and two now straight up against the defensive quarter for the Minnesota Vikings and Brian Flores. So I actually do give the edge here to Ben Johnson, especially when he did to Vic Vangio. I think that he'll have the edge, especially just personnel wise, like the Jets secondary is not even close to what the Eagles have. So I think the Bears are going to have some advantages here. Even though the Bears David's line, or the Jets David's line has actually improved a lot since last season under Aaron Glenn. So I think it'll be agent unless we get something else that clearly says otherwise. And maybe Sal's telling me that that's not the case. Nope. We're just getting more updates about these receivers. Do you do more limited? Equal calls limited? Mike Evans will practice. Mike Evans is not playing. So don't hold out for Mike Evans. It's going to be Brandon Cook's season. Is Christian Kirk coming back for the 49ers? Also heard a rumor that Brian Thomas Jr. is potentially on the move to the Bay Area. Please get Brian Thomas Jr. out of Jacksonville. They don't want them. They don't need them. That's fine. Move on. He needs to be with this boy, Mac Jones. That's what Brian Thomas Jr. needs to be. Make it happen. Brian Thomas Jr. Mac Jones, the reunite. That's what we need. So that's my breakdown there. Let's go to more questions here. Matt, B-S-B-L. My team is my home's brown Irving Pooca Smith. Love them. OK, a bunch of guys. Who should I target and bundle together for who? Eight man, full, PPR. So if I'm looking to trade somebody, I think that you want to hold Pooca. Do you hear my love? I mean, I kind of like this team. If you're looking to bundle someone to like move up, I guess running back would probably be the area you look to upgrade the most. But I don't think you can really package Brown and Irving with anybody in particular. Maybe Brown is like a buy. As a buy low Irving, you know, the situation is not that great. So I don't know if there's really like an obvious strategy. It's tight end is probably where you need the most. So if you could bundle Loveland. I mean, I don't really want to trade Loveland just because his stock is so, so low right now. Breeze, Kyron, Tee, Swift. I mean, I feel this team's pretty good. I get it. Yeah, I'll tell you what I guess is what you need the most help with. So if you wanted to trade, I guess if you really want to upgrade tight end and be Loveland plus a running back to upgrade that tight end spot, maybe someone like adult and King Kate or something like that. Maybe that's what I would do. But honestly, Matt, I don't really love a lot of that strategy. I'm trying to think like maybe Brown plus Smith to get like an even better running back. Maybe that's another idea. But he goes off. It's not looking great on Monday night football. I don't think Smith figure out wait, wait a week, Matt. Wait a week, you still have a pretty strong team here. But that's my main take. Awesome Dev. Trade Herbert for Geno Smith. Oh God. I mean, I don't know when it's going to run for Justin Herbert. I trade Herbert to get Drake May. I just don't think Geno has like the, I mean, he's got good matchups this week. So in a Super Flex, I don't know if I can do it. I think it's a no for me, but I feel like need production right now. I understand like what you have to do. But in a Super Flex, it feels, feels sturdy. We respect Geno to produce because Geno's like very matchup. I mean, he was QB3 because he faced the lines. Justin Herbert gets the face of the lines. He's going to be a top quarterback too. So not in Super Flex. I'm not doing it. ET underscore burn. I've Kiron is as my RB two such flex. Korma's just dropped. I grab him and let Jerry Price go. Yep, got to do it. You got to protect the assets. Engineering Price is heading in the wrong direction. The fumbles, all that stuff. Planting a trade, Rashad Rice, Rashad Rice, Rashee Rice, and Kim's got him, of course, a lobby in Dobbins. Is that a fair trade? Yeah, I think so. I don't love Dobbins, but I feel like he's kind of like the throw-in piece here. So you at least got it running back because you're getting a lobby who's the best part of the deal. So I do like this option as well. Steven Garcia talking about need at Marvin Harrison trade to happen. Guys, who's getting trade first? Marvin Harrison or Brian Thomas Jr. These guys both got to get dealt because they're not being used on their own teams. Now, these Brian Thomas Jr. we know he's actually good because what he did is work a year. Marvin Harrison Jr. man, he just, man, I don't know. He just fell so significantly. So 80s, tunes, full PPR, Wibersaver 2, at Buka, Boston, Leman, or Coker. Would you drop any of these guys for Valle? I would not. I still like Leman as a stash. Valle is more of that, okay, any production right now. But yeah, that's kind of my take on that. I would rather keep high Buka and Boston. So, but maybe revisit that. If I Buka bombs with Jalen Daniels, can't believe his name is Jalen Daniels. So close to the other guy, Jaden Daniels. And then we had the 2-H hands. Now both of them are injured. It's just, fans football, man, football in general. Just, all right, Pat Fan. Again, 09-8-7. No guns, all his practice is weak, not great. Not great. Let's get that question up here. A bunch of their roster are re-upgrade. Might need to be able to get you onto one or two, and they're both slim at receiver. Yeah, like going after or a Bay shell two, and he was my running back.
buy on the trade show this week with worm. Honestly, look, any of these white receivers, Waddle, Birdon, maybe Lovlin straight up, if you just want to get her running back, but I guess we need a receiver. So yeah, it'd be Waddle and Birdon for me, straight up for Tootin. I think that gets the job done. Good to be two for, again, you're always going to have to sacrifice a quote unquote, better wide receiver for a running back. I think Birdon would probably be my first cut about a few lots of them, Birdon. Matt, would you do Puka and Bradford Gibbs? Puka and Lovlin for Gibbs with my current team. Yeah, I just want Gibbs. You can get Gibbs anyway, anyway, shape or form, do it. Do it, do it, do it, do it, easy, easy. Skid score touchdowns every single week, three weeks in a row, hoping that it turns into 18 weeks in a row for junior Gibbs. Would you accept Christian Watson for Puka and Akua? No, I'm holding out hope for Puka. Holding out hope. He's going to play this week. I'm holding out hope. I'm maybe that's dumb, but I'm going to do it. It sucks, too, because I feel like if you were a one and two or two in one team, you could buy Puka on the cheap. I feel like that'd be smart to do, but or only three, but everyone that's only three already has Puka is running. It seems right. Yeah, this guy's a buy low. This guy's a buy low. But you look at your team. I have all the buy lows. That's why my team's own three. So just a weird quirk about fantasy stuff. Steam Garcia, Texans, bills, chiefs, Rams, Vikings, depending on Jefferson and Puka's injury, talking about potential trade destinations for I think Marv here or maybe Brian Thomas Jr. Either way, I thought Brian's junior Brian Thomas Jr. could go to the Raiders at some point, but 49ers make so much sense. Especially, I feel like he could be that brain that I yuked that obviously is not coming back. It was so funny when I asked Kyle Shannon about, hey, like a brand I yuked an option. He's like, no, definitely, no for brand I yuked being on the 49ers. All right. Last two questions here. Adam Ward, O1. Did you think Lee Raymond could be playing? I'm on the raw same round as Roller for the Bears since he knows Ben John's offense. Could he be could he be playing? He kind of is playing it right now. So yeah, I it's it's very bizarre. Just how big Kelly frame has been involved. And I got to double check this, but I'm pretty sure Cleveland went to Holy Cross, which is the same school that Jen Coker went to. Very small school in Worcester, Massachusetts. Very close to where I grew up. So it's just interesting to see these guys popping up. I think it was Holy Cross. It might have been a different school in Worcester, Massachusetts. That's double check. But yeah, it's good to see him having success for sure. I've always kind of like been like a Kelly Raymond trooper or a truther. And of course, I have, of course, I totally disregard it. I'm like the coaching receiver. I'm obsessed with those type of connections. Of course, this is just totally flew by my read. And yes, Sal's confirming in the chat that it was Holy Cross. So these these crusaders, man, Collie Raymond smashing, yeah, and Coker smashing Holy Cross is back. Call a triple. There we go. There we go. Ftk331 last question here. How much fab would you use on jk dominance? Honestly, not much. I guess if he could be your RB two, it's fine. But he just feels kind of like a placeholder. We know he's going to probably get hurt at the end of the season or sometime during the season. Joe and Coleman will come back. So if he is still your best RB two, I would say nothing more than like 10%. Just because I don't want to be over invested in someone like a jk dobbins who doesn't have a receiving role, but does plan a good offense matchups not that bad this week. So I guess maybe like 15%. If you just need a starter and you can ride out jk dobbins for as long as he's healthy and available. And Joe and Coleman is hurt right now. So at least dobbins does have the clear path to the early down touches, whereas Harvey is going to be working in the passing game. And he does have five goal line carries last two games, two games, just no touchdown. So 10 to 15%, 15% if you really like, hey, I got to get this RB two thing fixed. So that's what I would do. Let's get to the last storyline. But before, yeah, let's get to the last storyline. Throw it up there. So JD McCarthy to the giants. So we did a big breakdown this on the Monday recap tailgate show because that's when the news broke when McCarthy got traded to the New York giants from my fifth round pick. And I think I was probably painting a somewhat optimistic picture about I think I like the move overall from the giant standpoints. Like what do you got to lose, man? Like we know what James wins the kind of is at this point. Getting McCarthy starts getting a competent backup quarterback to Jackson Dart who unfortunately has been injured both years of his career. And it's not because he was playing reckless that he got hurt in week two on Monday at football. He took a hit in the pocket throwing the ball. So it's really unfortunate that that happened to dark. But look, the hard boss know each other. Obviously, John tucked to Jim was like, hey, what did about this McCarthy guy? And he's like, get this dude out of Minnesota. So I think it's a win-win for both parties involved. And I think McCarthy might just fit the Jackson Dart offense better than James Winston. So that does at least give me some optimism that he could be an upgrade for all these pieces on the same, but in the same token, right? Did Jim McCarthy was also awful for fantasy receivers last year? Like Jefferson was a horrible. So I'm very interested to see what this offense looks like against Arizona Cardinals under normal circumstances. Do we ever see the James Winston again? That's fun for fantasy. I still I don't know. I really don't know. And even my neighbors as a player rank this week is tough because I just don't know which version James wins and we're going to see. And I guess I'm like trying to lean into the more optimistic side just because the two game scripts have been so poor for a giant passing game to work in any way, shape or form coming off the bench in week two, playing in bad weather against the Titans in week three against the Arizona Cardinals who kind of like force shootout game environments. Man, it's James Winston like looking as chops to this type of matchup potentially. So I will say I think we're going to see McCarthy in their sooner rather than later because I don't think that James is like the long term answer, especially if he just doesn't fit this offense. Whereas McCarthy, I think does fit it much more stylistically. So we shall see what happens with the league neighbors at least gives the giants another out potentially if it doesn't work with James Winston, he's just like totally cooked and just not the same guy. So if Winston is bad with the league neighbors, at least McCarthy is another option where okay, maybe can we get better for this giant's passing attack. But it's the league neighbors is a by-law if you can actually buy him low, I would say I think somebody asked me if you could get the league neighbors for Debo's annual. And I was like, yes, that's the perfect by-law. I have no problem pulling the trigger on that type of deal. So if you can do that, do that. If not, I think I'm just holding neighbors just because guys so talented. But I'd also sell if someone gives me a strong enough offer like Christian Watson for my league neighbors. Maybe I just don't deal with the potential headache. Christian Watson been balling out this year. Christian Watson is going to be one. I mean, he's kind of already this one, but like he's he's on track to be top 12 receivers. So if that's like best case scenario with neighbors so far this year, then I rather just take a guy like Watson. So just a couple of nuggets, the five top Tory lines, top Tory lines, the five top story lines here on the tailgate. Andrew Erickson. So that's going to wrap up our live stream for today.
