Week 3 Start Sit Advice (Part 1) | MUST-Start Players & Big Names to AVOID (09/24 Fantasy Football Podcast)

Fantasy football analysts discuss key matchups and player rankings ahead of Week 3, emphasizing value in both starting and avoiding players. Chuba Hubbard is highlighted as a top-10 running back due to his consistent performance and high touch volume, especially with Jonathan Brooks sidelined. Rashad Bateman is viewed as a top-20 wide receiver if Zay Flowers sits out, with strong historical performance in target-heavy games. Pat Freyermuth is praised as a reliable starter against the Bengals, having averaged over 14 PPR points in past games. Tyler Schuck is favored in the Chargers vs. Bills matchup due to high pass attempts, though the Raiders’ weak run defense raises caution. Players to avoid include Baker Mayfield, Ramondra Stevenson, and Luther Burton due to poor offensive production and defensive matchups. Jalen Coker is a must-start for Carolina, benefiting from deep routes and injury resilience. Tight ends like Dalton Schultz and Gatsden are expected to see significant target share in the Chargers game. Analysts stress the importance of injury updates, such as Zay Flowers’ absence or Quinchon Judkins’ defensive struggles. The Patriots’ strong run defense and Bengals’ defensive strength further influence flex decisions. Overall, the focus is on high-upside players in high-pass-volume scenarios, with a strong emphasis on risk mitigation through injury awareness and matchup analysis.

This is Fantasy Football today from CBS Sports. Swap away! Can you believe this? It's a no again. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Go to the races, play stays on your feet. Just gotta go to the distance. Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath. Packers and Falcons are going to kick things off tonight to get week three underway. Welcome to Fantasy Football today. Ooh, a little rhyme for you to start the show. Good morning, Heath. How's Fantasy Football going for you through two weeks? - Thankful for Dalton Schultz. Wasn't a great week one. I've got Dalton Schultz on about half my teams though, so it was a much better week two. And you know, it'd be nice if Zay flowers had come back. - Yeah, not well for some people. Is that why you have Dalton Schultz ranked as your number two tight end, are you trying to will it into existence? - No, no, it's just where he comes out. In the projections. And I think, listen, if you look at the only one that I would say that based on what's happened this year, you would say is definitely ahead of him as Dalton concait. I say, likely he's going to be playing with a backup quarterback that looked completely incompetent to stand up for it. - Not Tremac Bride. - Tremac Bride's number one. Oh, I said ahead of Schultz, who's at two? - Oh, who's at two. - And if Brock Bauer's gets a full practice in, then I'll put him up to a full. But I just, I remember Brock Bauer is not at 100% and so I'm being a little cautious with him. - All right, so today we're going to talk about players. We love players we're avoiding. And the eight games we're previewing today, Carolina at Cleveland, Chargers at Bills. Can the Chargers get right? Something that's a little encouraging. Is that each of the two quarterbacks who have faced the bills have thrown 38 passes. Just a Herbert has 27 pass attempts in both games so far. So hopefully we can get more pass attempts for Herbert. Patriots are at the Jaguars, Drake May and other sit. Cincinnati's at Pittsburgh. I watched all of the routes for DK Metcalf from against Cincinnati last year. And I'll tell you what I've found. Houston and Indianapolis, Jets at Lions. Rams at Broncos, Kansas City at Miami. So it's ABC Home Games plus Jets at Lions. Good morning, Jamie. - Good morning. - All right, let's get into players we love, brought to you by StitchFix. If you're like me and close shopping isn't your thing, well, StitchFix as you covered gets styled today at stitchfix.com/football. Three players we love. Jamie's got Chubba Hubbard at Cleveland. Rashad Bateman in Brazil against the Cowboys and Pat Fryermuth against Cincinnati. And I love like, you know, it's not like just layups here. Some bowl calls. All right, let's talk about Chubba Hubbard. - Yeah, Chubba is probably a layup, you know, with Brooks being out. Although the Browns' run defense has actually been better than I think people realize they haven't given up a touchdown to a running back yet so far in two games. And hopefully Chubba will be the first one to do it. But it's basically, you know, the job it says, I don't think AJ Dillon, or if they end up sighing off Snackler or anybody else they have on the roster, we're gonna take him off to feel the first significant stretch as he's been playing so much already with Brooks Healthy. So you got an 88 total yard game from Basial Tutan. You got an 89 total yard game against Cleveland last week from Buck Irving. And so I think that's kind of the floor for Chubba Hubbard around nine PPR points if things go bad. But he's just been so good in this offense. This offense is playing so well. For me, Chubba is a number one running back this week. And I continue to move him up, you know, closer to the top 10 right now, he's 11. For Bateman, look, it's gonna depend on, you know, where he slots in on the Zay Flowers injury front. I'm nervous that Flowers is gonna play this week. So Bateman, if Flowers is out, is a top 20 receiver for me. If Flowers is in, he's still a number three receiver that I would start with a lot of confidence. Again, it's a small sample size over the last two C, or since 2024, but basically anytime he gets five targets, he scores at least 15 PPR points. And I think we'll get five targets. And what I'm hoping is gonna be a shootout. So excited to see Rashad Bateman. If Flowers plays, just to see what we get in Sylgecobe Lane's back, but if Flowers is out, you saw what he's capable of doing last week. Just had a monster game against Saints. And then for Pat Friarmuth, you're going to be saying on Tuesday with the WaverWire show, just a great history here against the Bengals. In his last 10 games against them, six touchdowns, he averages over 14 PPR points per game and some huge, huge performances in that stretch. So we saw two versions of the Bengals against Tidens. One was decent against K-Daten. I think that's more about K-Daten. We saw Lassoudal and Schultz get Uber-targeted and he was amazing. I don't think we're getting either of those two. I think we're getting somewhere in between. But I think that Friarmuth this week is a great starting option. Somebody asked me yesterday, would you start Friarmuth over Colston-Loveland? And yes, I would. We've got eight, almost 80 pass attempts for the Steelers in two games. And looking at that, Bengals defense, probably going to be tough to run on them. And hopefully the Bengals offense shows up as well. Heath, when we look at Rashad Bateman here, you've got him much lower at 47. Jamie at 25, Dave in the middle at 35. So let's talk about that real quick. Yeah, I think we had a little talk yesterday about whether we should be ranking Z-Flowers or not. Because in this last week, he didn't show up at practice. And we always have this difficult battle between the coach talked optimistically, but he's not at practice. And it was Wednesday. So if he's not at practice on Thursday, I will move Bateman up. If Z-Flowers doesn't play, I will probably have Bateman right around Wide Receiver 30. But if Z-Flowers is fine and was just taking Wednesday off and is himself, then I think he's going to have a 30% target share, like he has for all of last year, and even better in week one. And I think Derek Henry's probably going to run for 500 yards against the Cowboys. So I'm not sure there's room for a second Wide Receiver. 500. All right, I've got a couple of Henry leagues. I'll start him, I guess. How about some players? You love you. Tyler Schuck against the Raiders, Jalen Warren against the Bengals and Jalen Coker to Jalen's spell differently. In fun fact, Jalen Coker at Cleveland. And there's other ways to spell Jalen, but I couldn't find any that I wanted to start this week. Yeah, Tyler Schuck is currently QB7 in my projections for the week. So I've got him ahead of Joe Borough, ahead of Trevor Lawrence, ahead of Matthew Stafford, ahead of Drake May, ahead of Justin Herbert, a lot of guys that we drafted ahead of Tyler Schuck. It's just a pretty fantastic situation when you can't run the ball and you play fast. And so you're going to get 35 to 40 pass attempts per game. I think the only concern that I would have is that the Raiders don't score enough to put them in a hole early. But even then, I'm not sure if they have an effective enough running game to be able to do anything other than throw the ball a lot. All right, so that's Tyler Schuck and some big names that Heath would start Tyler Schuck over. Jalen Warren, so the Bengals run defense has been so good. What do you think about Warren, though, in this matchup? So another guy that is very iffy for this week is Rico Dattel. And I will like Warren as a top 24 running back, whether Dattel plays or not, because Warren's been better. But if Dattel's out, then I think Warren is right there in that Chuba Hubbard conversation. And yeah, it's a hard defense to run again, so are the Browns. But we know what Warren's involvement is in the passing game. The Bengals have already seen 15 running back receptions against them. That's the most in the NFL through two weeks. This team, you want to talk about a team that can't run the ball. It's the Steelers. They have one of the worst run blocking grades so far through two weeks. So the passes to Jalen Warren are becoming the Steelers run game. He might catch six passes in this game. And they were bad against pass catching running backs last year, Cincinnati. They gave up like the fourth most receiving yards per game. So running backs in 2025. And the last player on your-- your loveless is Jalen Coker at Cleveland. And I think most people are planning on starting him, especially in a three-wide receiver league. But just to highlight how much I love him, he's currently wide receiver, 13 Tederome McMillan is wide receiver, 12. I love everything about what Brad Idzik-- I say that right-- is doing with this Carolina Panthers offense. Lots of passes, lots of downfield passes, and both McMillan and Coker are must starts. Just watch the ankle, because he's still battling an ankle injury, but he was battling last week at practice. Didn't seem to slow him down too much. And yet you are the low guy on Rice Young, which is weird, not super low. But you have him 12, whereas Dave and Jamie have him 9th right now. So any thoughts on that? No, 9 through 12 is pretty much just like throw him in a bag, shake it up, spill him out. Fair enough. All right, so recap, Jamie loves Chuba Hubbard, and he loves Jalen Coker. And Rice Young is a top 12 quarterback, so I guess this is a test. This is a little bit of a test that Cleveland for Carolina. Let's see how it goes. He drops back, he throws deep downfield. You need good pass protection for that. I want to see what happens if the pass protection breaks down. So far, it's been pretty good. Jamie also loves Rashad Bateman and Pat Fryermuth. Heath has Tyler Schuck and Jalen Warren. And thank you to Stitchfix for sponsoring today's players. We love Stitchfix takes the hassle. Out of clothes shopping. It was awesome. Let's keep breaking records. Players to avoid. He's got Baker Mayfield against the Vikings, Ramondra Stevenson at Jacksonville and Luther Burton against Philadelphia. Talk about Baker and then I'll tee up for the next two. Okay. Yeah. I think this whole operation in Tampa Bay looks like they didn't quite figure out the offense and what they want to do in training camp. Baker's holding onto the ball. Guys aren't getting open. The line's not been playing well. Here comes Brian Flores. Stay very far away. And if you have to drop Baker because you need to add a different quarterback, that's fine. Ramondra Stevenson at Jacksonville, that's a sit for you. Does that extend the Travion Henderson and then Luther Burton against the Eagles? That's a sit for you. Does that extend to everyone else in the passing game, basically, for the Bears? Yes, and yes, it's a good Jacksonville run defense. Maybe maybe some times a great Jacksonville run defense. I don't think we can be confident about who is going to have the most rush attempts for the Patriots this week. Stevenson will do the work in the passing game, but I'm not sure that role enough to make him a starter. I wouldn't want to start Henderson either. Listen, I think there's a chance with out Caleb Williams that we actually see the Luther Burton and Colston Loveland target volume that we would like to see. Unfortunately, it's Case Keenum, and unfortunately, it's the Eagles defense. So we're not going to take that chance here, but I do expect the offense to play more on schedule and the guys that we liked in this game to maybe get the opportunities. It's just a terrible matchup and a terrible quarterback. Yeah, I mean, he hasn't always been a terrible quarterback. We'll talk about this game tomorrow. There's sometimes where Case Keenum does, does okay, but he's not Cooper Rush. Sorry, Cooper Rush. Are you picking on Cooper Rush? Well, no, no, he's, it's not except what is he now? It's 50s, some 53. I think there's a chance it is Cooper Rush at this point is correct. Yeah, Cooper Rush, once upon a time, was a bad two. Jamie, you know, he talked about that Jacksonville run defense, but I don't know if there's a better run defense than the Patriots run defense. And you've got Basel Tutten as a player to avoid Terry McClaren against Seattle, Colston Loveland against the Eagles. Yeah, Loveland's just kind of an extension of what Heath was talking about. Clearly, the start of the year has not been great as well. So you heard me say I would start Pat Fryermuth over Loveland. I saw Loveland dropped in one of my 10 team half PPR leagues last night. I was little surprised by that, but it come up. I have bowers, so I probably won't, but you know, it's shallow benches. That's why somebody dropped them. So it's just one of those things where you know, if you're stuck and you can't carry multiple tight ends, you know, due to injuries, because a lot of fantasy managers are dealing with that, you're going to see Loveland on some way, but why is which is unfortunate. But I'm hoping kind of like what you say, like I'd like to see just Case Keenum target these guys and then let's see what they do with it. It's not so much about just Caleb missing. It's just the fact that these guys have not been great so far through two weeks and now you're throwing a backup quarterback, as he'd said against the Eagles for Basel Tutin. He's been good so far. He's been a little frustrating so far as well. If you don't get the direct snap touchdown last week, which we saw the next time they were down there, it was Chris Rodriguez against Denver. Like we're looking at two kind of mediocre games for a guy that's not heavily involved in the passing games. So we know what that means is typically a trap back. You're talking about, you said at the Patriots run defense, with Milton Williams on the field, they've allowed only two rushing touchdowns to run the backs on our last 14 games. His last 14 games, excuse me, not their last 14 games. His last 14 games. So that's not great for a guy that if he does not score and is not heavily involved in the passing game, you know, I referenced this a lot. You know, P. Priskos is tied into the Jaguar as possible. He posted something on X, yesterday, like they need to get him more touches. I think we all agree. It would be fun to see if he had more work. This is just not the game, I think to trust him. Now, a lot of fantasy managers are going to be stuck because the injuries to start him. I think it just, you're looking at, you see, we're all kind of in the same ranking range of low end number two running back or high end flex. So not a complete must sit, but just somebody I'd be a little bit concerned about. And then in the case of Tarmacorn, X has a pretty good history with Marx Mario at least last year. I think in the five games they played together, three of them. He scored at least 14 and a half PPR points or more. So not terrible, but you are still talking about Mario against the Seattle defense and sea ox defense has been just great. I think they're going to make things real uncomfortable. I'm shocked. I don't know if that's a correct ranking by sports line, but 60 is, is telling stuff on deck is obviously been better. You like that? He had nine targets last week. That was against Dallas. We saw what it was in week one. It wasn't pretty for from a moment. So just off to a slow start, once prize me if he has a decent day, but just barely a starter in three or three weeks for me, or just a starter in three weeks, or about digs. Digs I have one spot higher. So it's kind of just, I think when you look at the bears, the commanders, it's a little bit different with the giants because you know the history of James and Williams with at least his past. James Winston, James Winston, and what he typically does for receivers. So I'm a little bit more hopeful for mulling neighbors and Isaiah likely mostly, and a lot of that has to do with their playing the Titans this week, but it's kind of just a little bit of a wait and see, you know, because it's Mario to end a new offense and that offensive line is beat up once again, even worse than it was coming into the season. So I just have a lot of confidence in McCorn and Dixon. I mean, come on. Jago, we were set just through for 95 yards against Seattle. Yeah, it's good. I mean, they're they're just so good. So yeah, McClaurne hasn't done enough. I totally with you there. All right. And yeah, for Tutan, man, he's only got, he's only got 28 of the 47 running that carries that that needs to change, but it's really tough matchup. All right, we'll get you news and notes in a minute here. But Sunday, it's an NFL on CBS double header. First Joe burrow and the unbeaten bangles take on Aaron Rogers and the Steelers. And then for the first time ever, the NFL is in Rio as the Mar Jackson and the Raven square off with Dak Prescott and the Cowboys live from Mara canya Stadium in Brazil. Pat Fryamuth having the massive game. And it was like super late touchdowns. It was a wild game. It was one I think it was a Thursday night or it was one of the games of the year, actually. Jackson Dart out for the season. Tyson Baygent has a concussion case kingdom could start. That's a Monday night game and listening to Scott Turner talk with Dave yesterday. He said when usually when people exhibit the concussion symptoms after the game, it's harder for them to clear the concussion protocol and time to play that week, which is what happened with Tyson Baygent and Sam Darnell practice. He was limited. He's got a chance to play this week at Washington. Travis H. Ann has a hamstring injury that is Travis H. Ann. I do think someone suggested calling him Travis E. And that is not a bad idea. The Broncos. We got Dobbins and Harvey limited and we have Jonah Coleman missing practice with an ankle injury. Let's see if he practices on Thursday. Kyle Menongai was not seeing a practice. They didn't release a report they play on Monday, but Menongai little banged up. Rico Doudal day to day. Jonathan Brooks on IR. Both Titans running backs missed practice. Heath is there a player to get in the Titans backfield at the Giants? I wouldn't react too much to Wednesday. I guess it'd be singleton. Yeah. It just said they're both sore. You know, so that was really one that didn't concern me. It's a lot of other backfields that concern me. Yeah. Are we worried about Aaron Jones? He's got this knee injury. Yeah. I mean, if I get worried about Aaron Jones. Yeah. I had all these bids in to drop to Mon Clayborne and then I cancel, cancel, cancel, cancel, cancel. And I don't know it'd be him. It could be DJ Dallas too. I picked up DJ Dallas and like 20 of my 28 leagues. It was free. And if you have a rough spot to play with, I would recommend doing something along those lines. Emmanuel Wilson's also out there in a bunch of leagues too. It sounds like price going to be fine. But look, anytime you're going to get somebody that has the chance for starting job or volume, why would you not take a chance? It could be Jerome Ford for all we know. He's on their practice squad and he's got the most experience of this group. So they're going to elevate somebody. It sounds like, but it does not seem good for Aaron Jones. Actually, I sent in, you know, for for anybody that pays attention to our site, which we appreciate. So we spread it up, start it into positions, and then the whole column comes out later in the day. And I had to retract Aaron Jones, 'cause I had him as a starter. - Okay, and still no update on Sequan Barkley. Judarian price was limited, though, which is a good sign. At wide receiver, Pukka and Akua mispractice, they're being cautious, and they said it's not a herni, it's not a long-term thing, but he did not practice. They faced Denver on Sunday night. Michael Pittman was limited. Vladimir Konky practiced in full, which we love to see. Zae Flowers mispractice. Malik neighbors was limited. Caleb Douglas mispractice. And Chris Bell has a knee injury, too. He only has one or two targets this year, I think. Mike Evans mispractice, which was no surprise. DJ Moore was limited and said he felt good. Keon Coleman mispractice. And Alec Pierce is actually not on IR yet, if you're waiting as I speak right now. He is going to be put on IR, but if you're trying to put Alec Pierce in an IR spot, you have to wait a little longer. Um, tight end news. Brock Bowers expected to play. Chigel Konky was mispractice again. Terrence Ferguson was limited. Kobe Parkinson mispractice. Offensive line, Andrew Thomas doesn't have a serious injury. Thankfully, I think he was limited yesterday for the giants. The lion should be getting two starters back. I think that's a huge storyline for them against the jets. Washington Guard, Sam Cosmese in the concussion protocol. Chargers left tackle was shown. Slater was limited. That we can't have him miss time. The Packers are going to be without two starting offensive linemen tonight. We previewed that game yesterday. We're hoping that they come through, but that's not good. And Baltimore left tackle. Ronnie Stanley has been kind of in and out of the games. He mispractice yesterday. I'm a little bit concerned tonight that Tucker Kraft has to block too much. There was actually a story that came out so they considered playing him on the offensive line. Their offensive line was bad when it was healthy. And it's not even kind of healthy. And so just a little bit concerned. I think though, just to that point, the story was because their three backups were forced to play. So that's why they were getting concerned about maybe having to use crap. They have clearly made reinforcements for tonight. So they should be OK in that regard, unless just disaster happens. Yeah, and even with all that, the jets really-- I don't think the jets blitz a lot, so that's one thing. But they really didn't get a lot of pressure against the Packers. So that's good for the Lions, if the jets can't get pressure. So that's in our preview slate today. Let's do it one question for each game, Carolina at Cleveland Heath. Who is the best flex of all the Cleveland Browns options? So I think it's the Browns, but they actually have some kind of appealing flex options. And my favorite is Quinch on Judkins. I think we'll find out more about whether this Panther's defense is a really bad defense, an average defense, a kind of bad defense. But I'm optimistic that Judkins-- I think the Panthers are currently giving up the most yards per carry. And Quinch on Judkins may have the fewest yards per carry. So it's the immovable object against the whatever. But I think Judkins is a decent flex. 6.3 yards per carry allowed by the Panthers to running backs. That would be the-- It's almost leading though. The Andre Swift Menongai, and Bijan, and Brian Robinson, all have done well on double-digit carries. All right, we'll see. Would you start Quinch on Judkins or a Patriots running back? Judkins for me. Judkins. OK. How about Jamie Chargers at Bills? Go right back to Lad Mcconkey? Absolutely. Yeah, as long as he's healthy, he should be a moustarca. Any practice in full? That's good stuff. Heath Patriots are at the Jaguars. Who would you start over Drake May? Where do you have, well, you guys, you have 14th, and who would you start over him? So I would start-- the two guys you didn't draft as starters are Tyler, Shuck, and Bryce Young. So and most of the-- I'd start-- I don't love Lawrence, but I'd start Lawrence, and Barrow, and Mahomes, and Purtie, obviously. But I think Purtie's one you have to say, because a lot of people drafted May as their starter, and May have had Purtie as their backup. He wasn't always drafted as a starter. How about like Gino Smith and James Winston, and anyone like that over Drake May? No. I'm very close. I mean, Gino's matchup is so good, and he's had a better fantasy start to the season than Drake May, so. Jamie, Cincinnati's at Pittsburgh. Starter set, DK Metcalf. Starter and three receiver leagues, but barely. You know, the targets have been great. 19 targets in two games. I just think this bangle defense is much better than people gave a credit for coming into the season. They made a lot of great additions. And DK just looks like he's struggling right now, so I would prefer to avoid him if he can. He was shadowed in both games by DJ Turner last year, and he struggled in both games. Yeah, he-- 9.9 PPR points were less than both games. Yeah, my personal opinion is that he actually-- he actually was kind of a handful for Turner. Sometimes you get open, quarterbacks don't see you. That happens. But the guys-- I think teams aren't really going to throw at Turner that much. Not to say they use like Christian Zahle. Christian Zahle is smothered Metcalf last week. But Roger still threw it a few times. He did. And he dropped one. I think Metcalf is like one of those guys that it just kind of depends on how long of a leash do you want to give him, because the underlying metrics is wide receiver 17 in target share and wide receiver 12 in area yard share. And it's a team that's throwing the ball 40 times a game. If he hadn't been so awful, we wouldn't even be having a discussion, but he's been awful. And so-- Yeah, I don't know. And yeah, it was predictable that he would struggle against Gonzalez. We'll see what he does against Turner. I anticipate another shadowing situation. Houston is at the Colts. David Montgomery or Josh Downs' Heath. I think in full PPR, it's going to be Josh Downs. Yeah, it's-- but the Colts-- the Colts are so bad, defensively right. I mean, they've faced the Ravens and the Chiefs. They've been so bad, defensively the latter. 114 are more rushing yards than both Derek Henry and Kenneth Walker. All right, David Montgomery was Josh Downs. Heath says Downs in full PPR. What about half PPR? It'd probably be Montgomery. Jamie made that comment. It's so misleading on the Panthers. And I was wondering like, what's more misleading, saying a team has been so bad against the run against Bijan and Swift and Menon guy? Oregon's Ken Walker and Derek Henry. Those teams have just had a terrible run to start the season. Jets are at the lion. Starters it, Jamison Williams, Jamie. Starters, you got to be hopeful with the last time they were at home, nine targets. Hopefully that's the case again. I don't think Dan Campbell wants to stick it there and Glenn, but it wouldn't be surprising if he just wants to get the offense, continue to keep the offense going because his defense is bad. So I wouldn't be surprised to shoot out. I do think the lion's offense is-- our defense is bad as we thought it was going to be. And so you just got to hope that he connects with Gough because you illustrated this going into week two. There have been chances for him to make plays. Gough has not thrown it to him. Gough has not hit him because he's been under pressure. As you just said, not a lot of pressure come from the Jets. So I think he said this earlier in the week when you brought it up. He's just the perfect number three while I'd receiver like we said going in the season. We're going to be weeks where he just blows up. This could easily be one of them. There's going to be weeks like we saw the first two weeks where just does not deliver. Hopefully we just don't get another one of those duds because then we're going to get a lot of frustration from him. James and Williams are Josh Downs. Downs. I've got Williams, I think. Rams and Broncos is Devonte Adams actually a sit this week? No. No chance. Are you certain about that? Yeah, even with even with that potential, you can't like just think about the injuries we're dealing with. Like how are you sending Devonte Adams? No, I know, I know. You know, I can make this parallel of of David Montgomery had three touchdowns in week one against the bills. And then he was started more than 90% of leagues. And I had a bad feeling about him in week two. And he had 24 total yards, he was a total dud. You know, matchups matter. Devonte Adams wasn't great and tough matchups last year. What would you consider sitting him if Pukin and Kua played? Yes. Yes. OK. Kansas City's at Miami. Starter sit Rishi Rice. And Jamie said this like six times already on the show. He's a starter number three white three white or zero leagues and not in two, but it looks like I'm the logo on rice this week. He said this about rice or about just about different about different wide receivers on the show already like James and Williams. And like I think he's, wow, sports line loves him. Fourth. But that's the thing is like usually when I'm a ways away from Dave and Jamie sports lines with me. So that's that's interesting. OK, 20th for Jamie, 25th for Heath, 30 seconds or 25th for Dave, 30 second for Heath, fourth for sports line on Rishi Rice. I thought he looked better last week. And hopefully that's a sign of things to come. This just feels like a game and you know, you say it's a trap game. Chief's coming off two amazing games. First time they're on the road. Dolphins first time they're home. I trap game, I mean, like they win like a stupid game that they should turn half point favorites. You know that they don't destroy them. Like we all are expecting them to do. But if there is a get right spot, this is a get right spot for rice. I know the dolphins numbers are good against the posing wide receiver. is because nobody has changed. counts them yet. And they thought the chiefs may not. You know, so it's just one of those games like this could easily be Ken Walker, Emma Johnson, defense does its job and you go home and don't worry about it. I just don't think the dolphins have anything that can stop Kansas City. So if this is get rice going, this is an easy week to get rice going. And we'll get into the games now a little bit more in death and we'll start with Carolina at Cleveland. And I didn't give this stat, but Chuba Hubbard had 15 or more touches in six games last season. And he scored 17.9 or more PPR fantasy points in four of those six games. Because he scores a lot of touchdowns when he gets a lot of touches and you go back to 2024 when he got a lot of touches, he was, he was great. He was top 12. So that's why Jamie loves, that's one of the reasons why Jamie loves Chuba Hubbard. As far as Bryce Young goes, Jamie ninth, Dave ninth, he's 12. We like him. Again, I want to see what happens to be faces the team with a pass rush. So far, it's been the Falcons who actually I guess have somewhat of a pass rush going into the numbers. And the bears. All right. I'll come back to it. We'll come back to Bryce Young. I'm sure we have some Bryce Young questions. He's now 90% rostered. I'll wait for them in the chat. I won't Chuba Hubbard. You know, 18th for Heath, 11th for Jamie. You still like him Heath, but I guess do you have any concerns? No, I guess if if we're talking about him as an RB one, my concern would be that Jonathan Brooks really hasn't done anything yet. Even when he was healthy and he wasn't playing that much and he wasn't getting that many touches and Chuba was still not getting 15 touches per game. So I think you're starting him undoubtedly. Yeah. Gotcha. They've been just a very pass every team. It's, it's, I love it, but it hasn't been great in terms of touches for Chuba Hubbard. He does have three touchdowns in two games, though. Um, to Chuba Hubbard or Devon H and Hubbard. H and Devon. Carolina wide receivers are both must start guys with Jalen Coker being 19th for Jamie 22nd for Dave and 13th for Heath. Yeah. So we're going to start them Cleveland's defense was good last week. It was bad and weak one really bad against Jaguars. It was good against the Buccaneers. We'll see. This is really, this is a really interesting matchup just to see what these two sides are. It's so interesting. It is, right? Yeah. Yeah. I just didn't think I watched, I talked about Baker quite a bit earlier in and last week and I didn't really see it as like Cleveland was making Tampa look bad. They just were bad. So maybe, maybe that'll prove wrong, but I didn't change my opinion on the Browns defense too much. I think they're probably pretty close to average. They're going to be awful against really good offenses and fine against really bad offenses. Yeah. No, I think that's a good point. Um, any interesting Darren Waller? Not really. He's not a bad stash candidate. If you have an open roster spot, I mean, he should have three touchdowns through two games. That's hard to overlook, especially if we're talking half or non-PPR. So if at any point, and, you know, we kept waiting for this last year with the dolphins, then he got hurt again. If at any point they start to increase his workload, then maybe we get more production, but that just doesn't seem to be the case, nor do they have to do that. All right. So he, if you, first of all, you have to Sean Watson 15th, which might be a little surprising. I was just, you know, I'm getting on the Atomaser fan club. I know he's been one of your favorite players in the NFL for the last decade. And he's averaging, averaging 30 rush yards per game. I don't think this Carolina defense is one that you need to stay away from. I'm encouraged by what the rookie wide receivers look like. And I think Carolina is going to put up a, this is one where I'm the projections are probably disagreeing with Vegas just a little bit, because I think that 42 and a half over under is way too low. Okay. Carolina's defense was solid last year. They were middle with a pack. They, they arguably have faced the best offense in football and week one in the Bears and the worst offense in football in the Cooper. No, I'm not stopping it at all. I guess the, yes, the bear. Yeah, I'm sorry that the bears struggled in rain and wind against the Minnesota Vikings in week two. They scored 59 points in week one. They might have the best offense in football. I don't know how we could even dispute that they might have the best offense in football. Okay. All right. He, he, uh, he's the high guy on Watts and Jamie and Dave haven't liked 20 second. Judkins is a number two running back. He's right around 24th for everyone, but you did hear the case made by Heath. And we talked about it earlier this week. He's pretty involved in the passing game, which is really encouraging. Uh, he had five catches last week. And in terms of Denzel Boston, I can't imagine people are starting conception. But Jamie, what would you say about Denzel Boston this week? Hi, number three receiver, you know, like, you know, you guys just said Watson's playing much better than we anticipated in Boston's a big reason why. You know, so you can hit pick and say garbage time touchdown week one against Jacksonville, bounce off defenders in week two against Tampa Bay. He's making place. And, you know, that's what we love to see from rookie wide receivers early in the season because we know they just continue to progress as the year goes on. So hopefully the Panthers offense shows up. Hopefully the Browns are chasing points. Hopefully Boston continues to see right around six targets per game. And there's always that chance for, you know, a huge blowup type of production. So I don't think you should say must start yet. Certainly must roster at this point. And hopefully we just continue to get, you know, production from him, because we need it at the receiver spot. James and Williams are Denzel Boston. Still J.M.O. Let's see, Basil Tutten, Quinchon Judkins, that group of running backs that are like, or Denzel Boston, running backs. I still got the running backs. All right, Harold Fannen, Jr. Starter said he wasn't bad last week, 10.4 fantasy points. I miss it. For what it's worth, this is the team that has shut down Colston, Lovelin and Kyle Pits. Well, yeah, that's true. But cool, Comet caught and touched down. Hey, that's true. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Let's see what the chat is saying here. You guys would start Dalton Sholtz and John Johnson, those waiver wire guys over Fannen, Coker or Higgins. Coker. Coker. No. Higgins. Waller or Gadson? Gadson. This is one I had Gadsdon really high early in the week. And then all of a sudden Charlie Kohler's not going on IR. And so I don't, I think Charlie Kohler's out. He's out, but not going on IR. So he's having surgery on the board. He's going to be Gadsdon. Okay. He's hoping to beat the four week timeline. Okay. Gadsdon. Gadson. I Coker or Josh Downs? Yes. I like both this week. I go Coker. Coker. Bryce Younger. James or James Winston. Bryce. Bryce Young. I don't. It sounds like people are like just forgetting the last game for JMO and James and James Winston. Just think he's going to be what he was a few years or I guess last year, but I don't want to start James. James Winston at all. James Winston and James and Williams are almost traveston divided Chan at this point. Younger Kyler Murray. Younger Stroud. Young. Korum or Judkins PPR. Judkins. Here's the tough one. Younger Shuck. Shuck. Judkins or Travian Henderson. Judkins, but we could look stupid for that one. Judkins. You already look stupid. PPR or Denzel Boston. FBPR. I think I moved Ebo one spot ahead of Boston, but that's close, especially if if Evans is out. It's easy, Dibo. That's that's the the distinguished thing for me. And pick two here. Quinchon, Judkins, Basel, Tudon or Jeremiah, love. Judkins and Tudon. Sit, love. Sit, that whatever you just did. Go back. If you're going to sing it, you just play it. I don't know. Matthew Golden or Denzel Boston because you want to sing. Yeah. Hey, guys. I got my guitar, golden, golden. All right. That's it for this game. And Carolina's DST is not in the top 12. So we're not buying into it this week. Chargers at Bills, but we're going to take a break. And then we'll see if the Chargers offense can show up. We know the Bills offense will. We'll be right back on fantasy football today. Chargers at Bills. Oh, this should have been such a two and a battle of two and O teams that were just firing on all cylinders. We had another tight end have more than six targets against the Bills. That has happened twice so far with Dalton Schultz and Sam Laporta. It did not happen once in 2025. So that's interesting. Of course, teams are throwing a lot. But Gatsden, you know, Gatsden, five or more targets in nine games last year. Heath and he scored double digit PPR fantasy points in six of them. So I think you want to make the case for Gatsden. Yeah, I don't know where the rank. It's going to show on the screen that my ranking is because I've moved Gatsden all over the place this week. But I think he is definitely in the streaming conversation. This team has thrown more than 20% of their passes to their tight ends. And while they didn't really like him, it seems like a camp. They don't have anybody left to play over him. So he should be on the field quite a bit on passing downs at least. And they're certainly not going to have him blocking. So I think I'd rather start him over here. Okay. And yeah, over Harold fan and over Colson, Loveland. Yes. Okay. All right. And then, Jay, I wanted to bring this up. DJ Moore ran 81% of the routes. week one. But he only had a 50% route participation rate last week in the first quarter. He got hurt in the second quarter. I was watching and I was so frustrated by it. He does not play in 13 personnel. That's Keon Coleman, who is injured, by the way. And coming into this game with an injury, it looks like he's trending in the right direction. Do you think DJ Moore is a must start this week? He's a definite starter in three or three leagues. I think you got to start him in two or three leagues if he's healthy just based on the upside. I don't really worry about what happened in the first quarter, first quarter before a guy got hurt because you never know how the script is going to go and what they're trying to do in the start of the game and then how things change. They're not keeping DJ Moore off the field. That would just be dumb. So I think he brought this up or Dave brought this up. He went into week two a little bit banged up also. So that could have had something to do with it for what happened after a week one. So as long as DJ Moore plays, he practiced yesterday in a non-contact jersey. So like you said, trending in the right direction, I'm starting DJ Moore. If you had this decision, make it start Jalen Coker or DJ Moore? Coker. I would start Coker. Do we take this Chargers defense seriously? It hasn't really been that good, but it was pretty elite by the end of last year. I mean, we just think the bills are going to light them up. Light them up. I mean, the bills lit up the Texans with, I don't say minimal trouble, but they lit up the Texans. Yeah, they killed them. They beat up the Lions, but I think a lot of teams are going to beat up the Lions. I don't think the Chargers are playing very well right now. And the biggest difference, at least from what you can attribute it to is maybe coordinator change. So it's just, yeah, the four main bills that you drafted as starters are probably going, or if you want to throw a arcade in there, but I would, the four main bills should be started. So Alan Cook, Moore and Kincaid, and I think if Moore is out, then you can take shots on either Coleman or Shakir. Right. And again, Coleman mispractice yesterday. Every time that guy has something positive, just something bad happens. I feel so terrible for him. Like, if Moore was out, he looked really good. He did. Yeah, he had a good game. He played a ton when Moore left. Starter said Justin Herbert Heath. So I've got him as a sit. I think we all have him as a sit. I'm the lowest on him. I think he's currently at 17 or 18. If you are basing your rankings and projections on what has happened so far and what Vegas expects to happen in this game, it's hard to be excited about starting Justin Herbert. I do think narrative wise, the bills have given up huge numbers to two quarterbacks. The chargers are o and two back against the wall. This should be a really good Justin Herbert game. I don't like the West Coast team traveling to Buffalo for a 1 p.m. game. I'm staying away. Jamie, you have him seven spots higher because he has Herbert 20 if you have him 13. He's 18, 18. Sorry. Yeah, but still five spots higher. So Heath just did did make a pretty good case for him. You know, all those things factoring in here. Of course. Yeah. I mean, this is, I think for you several players, you know, you have him. You have Rashi Rice. You have, you know, these guys that were drafted as starting options that are just struggling or terrible right now. And Herbert looks bad. You know, everything that I thought was going to happen with the tackles being back and Mike McDaniel being there has gone completely poof. You know, it's just terrible. It's terrible for for the way that things have gone. Now that being said, I thought he played much better in a week one when Ladd McConkey was on the field, hopefully getting McConkey back because it was disjoint a little bit last week from a practice standpoint. But this is an opportunity. This is a get right game. And, you know, you could, it's funny to say that because they just play the Cardinals of the Raiders and he looked bad. And you would think that those were the two layups looking at what the schedule looks like. So this would be the scenario of he comes out plays well. You look at the Caleb Williams, Jaden Daniels, Jackson Dart manager. And whoever they picked up in the back, I stinks. You tried and trade Justin Herbert. If you have a good backup, because then they're playing Seattle in week four. So it's probably not going to be great for him in week four. So this is the spot that he has to play well. Otherwise, you got to consider cutting. And if you need a, like a number three receiver, a flex or something, who's better? Let's say DJ more plays. Khalil Shakir or Quentin Johnston. I'd still take a chance on Johnston over Shakir, but that's where we are. Probably Shakir for me. Gosh, Quentin Johnston. Oh, just so bad. Been a whole slew of reasons why he hasn't really caught any passes. I mean, he's got thirteen targets. And he has three catches. We got a drop. We've got off target throws. We got deflected passes. We've got good coverage. We've got this and that. It's been a horrible start. He is one of two wide receivers this season to have at least ten targets and a catchable target rate below 70%. Yeah, geez. The other one's Malachi fields. It's not entirely on Herbert because two of those balls were batted down at the line of scrimmage, although that could be on Herbert. Well, of course it's not entirely. No, but it's never is. Am I sitting Quentin Johnston for either trade Tucker or Don Tavian Wix asks Tofu? Yes, Tucker. Okay. All right. And then Dalton Concade is a top five tight end. Top three, I think, for David and Jamie. Would you start him over Brock Bowers this week if you had both? Yes. Yeah. All right. Let's read some questions here. I'm going to move on. Quentin Johnston or Ramondra Stevenson, PPR. Ramondra. Yep. Umari and Hampton or Cam Skataboo. Hampton. That one is back-to-back for me, but Hampton Herbert or Kyler Herbert Kyler for me, Gadsden or Loveland. We said, Gadsden. How do you rank the bill's pass catchers? I guess gimme scenarios in DJ more and out heath. Can Cade more Shakir? Can Cade Shakir Coleman? I would go Coleman over Shakir if more is out. Herbert over Coleman, if more is it? Gads. Herbert or love? Love. Love. Hampton or Bucky Irving? Oh, good question. Hampton. Yeah. Bucky. All right. Hampton, Bucky with that tough match up. Dalton Schultz or Dalton Concade? Concade. Schultz. Herbert or Gough? Gough. Gough. I'm finished with this game. Although I was starting a DST in this game. No. New England is at Jacksonville and Drake May is about 15th in the rankings. If you want to hear who we're starting Drake May over, please go back to one question for each game. So far, Jacksonville is held to Sean Watson and Boneyx to right around 16 fantasy points and six point for passing touchdown leagues. Which running back do you like better for the Patriots, Jamie? I have them back-to-back. Remondre once bought ahead. This was a rare occurrence where Trevion played more snaps than Remondre, another fumble for Remondre. So this is one of those games where we'll see how they approach these guys and do they decide to make the switch of finally giving Trevion more chances because Remondre has looked sluggish through the first two weeks. But my guess is that Remondre will still play on passing downs and that's going to give him an edge I think in this game. It's tough to run on Jacksonville. So I know Jonah Coleman had a positive fantasy game last week, but this is a really good run defense. So if you can avoid them, try to avoid them. All right. Patriots wide receivers. Romeo Dobbs is still not cracking the top 30, 36. I think for Jamie 43, 42nd for Heath and Dave. That's Romeo Dobbs. It's kind of a weird number on him. In week two, there were 87 wide receivers who ran at least 20 routes. Romeo Dobbs ranked 82nd in average route depth. Very, very low average route depth for Romeo Dobbs, but he was ninth in A-Dob. He had a couple of plays where Drake May scramble and he got behind the defense. I think it was one of them was definitely like that and they hit him for a big play, but he wasn't a downfield guy. It was just kind of weird. All right. So would you start Denzel Boston over Romeo Dobbs? Yep. Yeah. Drake Tucker over Romeo Dobbs. Yep. Yep. Okay. It's interesting. You know, Bowers back and okay. He's just been awful. Well, at 80 yards last week. But I think he had 96, 96. Yeah, but it was on four targets. Yeah. Yeah. He's a good, he's a good depth player on your team right now. If you're stuck in receiver, I think you can start him in three receiver leagues. Like I'd start him over DK Meccaff. He's just as productive in one game as Meccaff has been basically in two. So I think you're looking at tough matchup. It's not easy for him. I just think he bounced back last week for what how bad he was in week one and is going to probably get more opportunities this week because I wouldn't be surprised at the Patriots chasing boys and Hunter Henry. I kind of I don't know why I thought he'd be a little higher, but he's you've got him 11th, I think, Hunter Henry. So that's Jamie 16th, Dave 19th, 11th for you on Hunter Henry who led the team in targets last week. Yeah. And I don't, I'm not excited about Hunter Henry, but I think he's probably going to score around 10 fantasy points. Yeah. I love a lot of these like replacement tight ends this week. So Firm with you, Firm is a billion times like I love his match up against Cincinnati. I think Terrence Ferguson's got a huge opportunity once again. If Pukas out as we expect you have a run at Gaston who we just spoke about. So Henry's in that mix for sure. And so if you are expecting a better performance than what we saw last week, which I think is certainly possible. He should be rostered in a little bit more leagues than he is because there's going to be opportunities for him to continue to if not lead the team in targets be close to it because of AJ Brown 57. 100% rostered Hunter Henry. And who's your favorite, like, who of those guys, Gadsden and who else is a Henry Ferguson for me with a book out at book is and it would be far with. Okay. He's you think the Jaguars are going to score a lot on the Patriots? What kind of game do you think we're going to get from the Jaguars? Um, I'm not super optimistic about them scoring a lot. I think it's probably a game where they're somewhere between 21 and 27. Um, yeah, it's over under what 45 and a half. So they're implied totals 24. That sounds about right. I should have asked this question. Drake, May or Trevor Lawrence? Who's the best quarterback in this game? Lawrence, but I don't really love either one. Yeah. I mean, Trevor Lawrence had a tough matchup last week and he struggled 17 of 29 for 189 yards. He scored 6.2 fantasy points at Denver. Patriots are good, man. They have really good defense. Their coverage on the Steelers guys was unbelievable. There was just no one open. This is a different animal though. Um, is Parker Washington the only must start for the Jaguars? Is he even a must start? Yeah. Of course. Yeah. Okay. He's not going. He'll avoid Gonzalez. So that's a positive. I think you just look at it. Like Lawrence had his nine game streak of 23 fantasy points or more snapped against Denver. Great call by Heath. He was, you know, I think the lowest on on Lawrence. Um, they've allowed the Patriots have only allowed one quarterback in their last nine regular season games to have multiple touchdowns. And that was Josh Allen. They played a lot of crappy quarterbacks during that stretch. I'll take that into account. But I think you just look at Lawrence and lower your expectations. So low and starter best. And I had behind Tyler Shock and Bryce Young and those guys, uh, Geno Smith or Trevor Lawrence. I will say ahead of behind them behind you. Lawrence for Lawrence or Gina. Yeah. I'm not there with Geno. Yeah. Okay. Uh, so Parker Washington's a must start. Brian Thomas Jr. is not. But I will say this about Brian Thomas Jr. before you give up on him. He is getting targeted. He only had three targets a week. One, but he missed some time in that game. And he had a 24.1% target per out run rate with Trevor Lawrence. And week two, it was 35% and he ran 75% of the routes basically. So, um, you know, I think maybe, I don't know, I maybe be patient. But like we always say with him, the schedule sucks. And it's pretty clear who who Lawrence is favoring right now in the past game. It's, it's the guys we want to see, you know, because Myers is not getting targets. Strange is not getting targets. Travis Hunter is very playing, barely playing on offense. They're running back so not involved in the passing game. So I think you got to be confident. Some degree about Brian Thomas. Like you said, once we get past this brutal stretch of games for him, but got to be patient. Such a downfield guy. It's just, it's like all chunk plays basically with him. And sometimes he doesn't catch them. Are we trying to get away from the Patriots DST? Are we cool starting them? Uh, I would try to get away from it, if you can. Would you pick up the chiefs over the Patriots? Easily. I would. Um, what's the Patriots? Who are the Patriots? I always hate dropping good tide in a good defense is because of one bad matchup. They got the bills next week. Yeah. So I think you can drop them. Okay. But then they have the Raiders and the Jets. But yeah. Um, all right. Let's get some questions from the chat for this game. Parker Washington or Christian Watson. Washington. Yep. Hunter Henry or Kyle Pits. Pits. I'm going Henry. Younger. Last time Pits played on Thursday night game. Yes. Best game ever for a tight end. Uh, we're going Bryce Young over Trevor Lawrence. Ramon Dre Stevenson or Matthew Golden in PPR. Golden. Yep. Basel Tutton or Josh Downs and half PPR. Uh, Downs. Tutton. I skipped Tutton. Sorry. We talked about him earlier. He was a player. Jamie wanted to avoid. Please listen to that portion of it. He's like a borderline number two running back, um, just a really terrible matchup. Drake May or Kyler Murray? Kyler. Uh, I've got May Parker Washington or Jalen cocker. Parker. Very close, but Parker. Hunter Henry, Mark Andrews, Harold Fanon, pick one. Andrews. Uh, Andrews, if no, say Henry of Z place. Stevenson or Tutton. I'd go Stevenson Tutton. Basel Tutton, Terry McClure and Rashad Bateman. Who do you pick? Bateman. Even a flowers place. Bateman. Bateman, if flowers place or is out Tutton, if flowers place, uh, his real, his real feelings came out there. Uh, Joe burrow. Any concerns about burrow? He's got like 36 fantasy points in two games. I mean, he's, he's, you know, he's getting lucky that all these quarterbacks are injured and, um, Drake May sucks. Like otherwise, I think we'd be very frustrated about Joe burrow and our shares in him. But you know, the potential got you two touchdowns last week against Houston. Hopefully that's something that we continue to see. I don't love the fact that he still bothered by this back injury that, you know, his act Taylor said he was sore and the Steelers defense. We know at times could be one of the best in football, creating pressure. So he's still a starter, but he's not a top five guy. We should have done a better job of like preparing people for this. This is what the bingles do the first couple weeks of the season. It's true. Um, they, they've been bad. Yeah, yes. Yeah. So I, I just kind of expect them to get it together. I'd start him over Laurence. I'd start him over Bryce Young. I'd start him over Drake May. You're going to start him. I'd start him over Tyler Shuck. I would start Shuck over him. That's what I thought. Jamie, how do you go? Shuck, Bryce Young, Joe burrow. Uh, burrow, Shuck, young. Okay. Start chase Brown. It's also because I'm not making a transaction to pick up somebody else five, bro. Fair. Start. Yeah, I, you know what? I felt the same exact way as a guy who has some burrow shares. Start Jamar Chase. T Higgins is a basically where you drafted him. What? Just, eh. Well, Higgins. He did. Yeah, he just, eh. I got to tell you, man, I, I know this is going to sound crazy. And I don't know the reason for it. And, and I was talking to Dave about it. I don't know if he'd want me to share this, but I'm going to share it. We both kind of same, came to the same conclusion. T Higgins did not look good last week. I know he had a big game. He was just like wide open on some plays over the middle. He's, it was weird. He just didn't look good. I'm, I'm not really treating that as anything, but my radar, my antennas up a little bit there. I'm still starting Higgins everywhere. He's one of my favorites. It's funny. You say that because they did something that nobody has done in two years. It's true. He did 26 games. I think it was. They scored both of them scored more than 12 points again. So if that's him not looking good, I'll take that. I know he had five catches for 95 yards on 10 targets. It doesn't really matter. But let's, I guess I'm just curious what the heck is going on there. Don't start a sickie. Don't start Rogers. All right. Uh, he talked about Jalen Warren earlier as a player. He loves, but let's just do it one more time. He's Warren with and without Rico Dotto. How do you feel about him against a team that's so far as one of the best running offenses in football against Bucky Irving and well, Bucky, you know, was fine, but killed the Montgomery and, um, and Woody Marks. Uh, but anyway, yeah. Go ahead. Yeah. I think that Warren will be good in the way that Bucky was, which is catching a lot of passes. So he is a high end RB two. If Rico's out, he's a mid to low end RB two if Rico plays, if Rico plays, he's a PPR flex. I think you also look at it. It's not just what Bucky did in the past game. So Woody Marks did in the past game last week too. So, you know, both those guys kind of gave you the blueprint. I think of how running backs are going up to win against this Bangle's defense. Um, is Jalen Warren a better start than DK Metcalf? Yes. With or without Rico Dotto? Yes. Do you think the DK Metcalf cracks double digit fantasy points in this game? Right around there. Yep. Okay. Michael Pittman, if he plays, we're going to, we're going to sit on, we got to see something there. And then Fryer, Muth, you know, Jamie, you got him 14th. You're the high guy on Fryer, Muth. You've talked about it. Um, great history team struggle. This team struggle. Great history against the Bangle's team struggle against the tight end last week. And Fryer, Muth is still pretty involved in the offense. And Darnell Washington really isn't. Like Darnell Washington kind of had some games last year and they had John who Smith as well, uh, where they were mixing in. It's not really happening that much so far. Let's see if we have questions about this game. It's pretty, um, it's not really a question. Well, I don't know if, uh, Sam started or Thomas did, um, but Yoshivas is out with a thumb injury and does that help Kaseki? It's, it's worth keeping an eye on. I don't know if anybody's going to start Kaseki. You shouldn't, but if he has another big game, that would be two of three. And now there are third receivers. Not there. I guess so. I mean, Yoshivas, how many targets is Yoshivas? It's just, you know, he'll be, I'm sure on the field more. He has four, uh, Bangle's or Steelers DST. Bangle. I think I have the Steelers. It's a little bit higher. Bro or Purdy? Purdy. Uh, T Higgins or Jamo? T. Chase Brown or Javante? Chase. Yep. Bangle's or Patriots DST. Bangle. Uh, I think I have the Patriots. are moving on. Let's go to Houston at Indianapolis, although I should say that Pittsburgh's DST is 11th for Dave, 9th for Heath and 14th for Jamie. So you don't have to get away from them. They're, they're like a pretty good defense, even without Joey Porter, Jr. Alright, Houston at Indianapolis. Um, let's see. They also played Cooper rush. They did play Cooper rush and they played drape may, they were. It's true. I don't really know what to make of their defense. I could see the bangles light lighting them up. Let him up. Uh, CJ Stroud. Like, what do you think about the Texans against this Colts team? Do we have some sleepers on this team? Because I'm assuming Nico's not going to play at this point. It's, it's just so hard to say, which is the best receiver. Obviously, Dalton Schultz has become, I don't know, for everybody, a mustark guy. We haven't ranked that way. So coming off the game that he had and being second at the position of targets, it's hard to say he's not a mustark option. Um, I still like Xavier Hutchinson, the best of the receivers, just based on the, the three game sample size of the last two years of no Nico Collins. The target stays got six or more targets and just had nine targets. So didn't connect last week against Cincinnati, but this Colts defense is so bad. There, there's, there's chances for him to make plays here. But you know, when you had a Wayne with seven targets and booty was involved and, and the other way to spell Jalen Jalen, no, was involved also, what he marks out of the back, feel like there's just so many guys that are being used here. So I, I think if you're, if you're looking at it, like this could be a surprise start for C just job, like I had to pick up C just job in one league where I lost Daniel. So I'm hopeful the matchup will be in his favor as it has been for the first two quarterbacks that have faced this defense. I just don't know if this is going to be a Dave Montgomery three touchdown game again, because it wouldn't surprise me if it is. We've talked about, I haven't asked you this already. We've talked about Basel Tutan, Ramandre Stevenson, Quinchon Juddkins. These guys are borderline RB twos. Is Dave and Montgomery ahead of them? Yes. He's right in the mix for me. Okay. It's very encouraging there's five catches and two games too. Yeah. And they're, they're splitting third downwork, both games evenly. Woody Marks and, and Dave Montgomery pretty evenly anyway. Colts defense has been terrible. We'll see if that was a matchup thing or not. Dalton Schultz is a guy you're going to start Hutchinson. Like, you know, as of yesterday, he was 7% rostered and that's definitely a guy that if I'm looking at my roster on Sunday and I'm just, I hate my wide receive. I really need someone. I've got safe flowers and he's ruled out or something like that. I do think Hutchinson can be good. He gets, he gets targeted. And again, he should, he should have, he got open for a 40 yard touchdown and CJ Stroud missed him in the end zone. We have a lot of like potential game time decisions, looming or Friday decisions that we're going to, you know, have to keep an eye on Travis H and now could be banged up Mike Evans, Aaron Jones. Like, I just think it could be a good flex. Tyler Warren or Dalton Schultz. Schultz. Yeah. Okay. Start Jonathan Taylor. And how much do you like Josh downs this week, Jamie? He's right around 20th for me. I'm, you know, excited to see him as the lead guy. You know, we saw it in the Chiefs game after out Pierce went down nine targets, seven catches, 72 yards. He's going to, you know, do a variety of things for this team. We'll see what Dairy Slayton role is. We'll see how keen it out and, you know, we had six, five or six targets last week. Didn't do much with it. But this is the guy. I think that we're going to see Daniel Jones lean on and I think he's going to be productive when he's been healthy. He's been a very good, you know, sort of borderline number two, number three, fantasy receiver. And this is his best opportunity to succeed. So the Texans secondary has not played up to par. I don't know if that's just because of who they played, you know, Josh Allen and Joe Burrow. So it's a little bit concerning that, you know, Daniel Jones hasn't been great. I thought he did a good job. Just didn't have the stats to back it up, but did a good job last week against the Chiefs. So if they can move the ball, I think Josh Downs going to be a reason why. Okay. Let's see if we have any Josh Downs questions in the chat. Josh Downs are, oh, I asked Josh Downs are Dave Montgomery earlier. It could be a format thing. All right. Hey, we got Warren or Kittle. Warren, but that could change events out. Warren. This week and rest of season Josh Downs are Luther Burton. If I have to make it like an absolute, it would be Josh Downs. I'll say Downs definitely for this week. Shorts or Tucker craft. Shorts. Yep. Montgomery are Malik neighbors. Wow. I want to say Montgomery. Yeah, I think so. Montgomery or Javante Williams. Javante was close. Javante. Would you start Josh Downs over Brock Bowers, Ameka Buka or Jalen Waddle? Definitely over a Buka, not the other two. I have Downs. Just blind those guys. Okay. Kyler Murray or CJ Stroud? I think I have them back to back. Murray right now. Kyler. We got three games left. Here we go. Jets are at the Lions. Jets 22nd and pressure rate so far. Lions should be getting two starting offensive. Lyman back this week. We'll start with the Jets. Start Breesaw. Start Garrett Wilson. Adonine Mitchell or Xavier Hutchinson of Niko Collins is out. Mitchell. Adonine Mitchell or Ameka Buka? Buka. Not there yet. Okay. Adonine Mitchell or Ramandre Stevenson and Basil Tutton and Quinch on Judkins. Those guys. Not there yet. Yeah. Okay. So those guys start over like DK Metcalf and Quinch on Judkins and obviously Marvin Harrison. There are certainly players that you drafted that you can start Mitchell over. I would only sort of of all those names. Harrison would be the only one I would start him over. So I'm over Brian Thomas to Geno Smith. Look, the Lions have been one of the worst defenses at football. There's no question. They've allowed three touchdown passes in each of their first two games. Geno Smith is 18th for Jamie 21st for Dave and I don't think in the top 24 for Heath. It's a risk obviously. He's he hasn't played poorly, but he hasn't put up big numbers yet. Then half to the week one and you know against the I still think a decent defense last week. In the weather in the weather. No was 17 fantasy points. It was overtime, but there this is a great DFS play. It's a great super flex to quarterback play. And if you missed because everybody in your league had backup quarterbacks and you lost Daniels and you lost Dart and you lost K love like this is not a bad. I'll play the matchups and see how it goes. Like or love Jared golf this week. Heath. So I would say love. He's he's QB five for me. He's right in a range with a bunch of guys from like five through eight, but he's I'm not starting Tyler Shug over him. So okay, we're bullish on Jared golf, both Heath and Jamie have him top five start Gibbs start St Brown. We talked a lot about Jamison Williams earlier. I I think I guess I'll call my shot here. I think he's going to have a big game. Yeah. It's just you know nobody's on a buy. So being a top 30 wide receiver, I think it's still it's pretty good and he's top 30 for everyone. Eventually he's going to have a big game that I feel confident in. I should have been week one. He had a couple of drops or otherwise would have a huge game. Just listen, great example. I have trade Tucker in several leagues. He was on my in my starting lineup over Debo Samuel in the Scott fishbowl in week one. I started Debo in week two and trade and trade Tucker blew up. The JMO is exactly like he's a better version, but you can't sit Jamison Williams because he's had a bad gamer or two. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. And Sam Laporta is a top five tight end jets for what it's worth. Did a good job against Tucker craft last week to catch us for 15 yards, but Laporta is rolling a little bit here. He's been around 50 yards. Both games. He's got caught a touchdown in week two. I real quick. See if we have any questions here. Golf or Justin Herbert. We're going golf. Sit one of these guys. Adonine Mitchell, Ramondra Stevenson, Xavier Hutchinson. Hutchinson. Adonine Mitchell, Denzel Boston, Romo Dunze. Who do you like? Boston, Boston. Would you start Jared Goff over Brock Purdy or Bryce Young? Over Bryce, not Purdy. Purdy Goff Young. Yep. Adonine Mitchell, Luther Burden, Baitman, Wix or Godwin. I'd go Mitchell. I'm sorry. I go Baitman. Excuse me. I would go Baitman if Zeya's out. Jared Goff or Jaylen Hertz. Golf. Golf. Jaymo or neighbors. Neighbors for now. Yeah. Rams or Broncos. Rams. Tough one here. Tough one. Kyron Williams is the number 11 running back in fantasy, but he is 23rd among running back in touches. He is scoring touchdowns. Thank goodness. Also, you should know, Bonyx has eight carries in two games. That's not bad. Four of them were kneel downs, and one of them he recovered his own fumble. So right now Bonyx only has three actual carries in two games. Like to see a little bit more work in the run game for Bonyx. Okay. I started at Matthew Stafford, Jamie. Low and starter in that behind shock behind Bryce Young right in the same range as like Herbert for me. It's tough. Much, much more difficult match up. Light years worse than last week against the And as of now, we're not expecting Pukka Nakua to play. Is Kyron Williams just an easy start? Or are we missing a big picture here, Heath? - Easy start. - I think he's an easy start because we start two running backs. He's not, he is ranked lower for me than he was in the preseason. And like the Denver defense, run defense hasn't been good. But I don't think they're as bad as they were week one. And so he started with an RB-2. - Yeah, there's one more carry than Blake Korum this season. But you know what he does. He scores. He's just touched down producer. Denver so far, actually bad against the run. Most of that, though, Ken Walker and week one, where they just forgot how to play football. And Chuba Hubbard or Kyron Williams? - Chuba. - Chuba. - All right, Devonte Adams. Where are you going to rank him with and without Pukka Nakua? - You showed the rankings earlier that's without Pukka. So 12 for me, I think it was 10th, 3th. I'm not mistaken. If Pukka plays, he's probably like 18, 19. - I was going to say 20. - All right. I'm nervous. I'm going to have him in so many leagues. I'm starting Devonte Adams, but I'm nervous. Gotta be great if he can come through here. - It doesn't sound like Pukka's playing though. - I know, but again, like he's going to get shadowed by Sir Tant. And it's going to be tough. Sir Tant is good. Sir Tant is the best. He is the best of the best. Last year, Denver held, now some of these names are good. Some aren't. McConkey, Michael Pittman, T Higgins, Jamar Chase, AJ Brown, Rashee Rice, Garrett Wilson, Jacobi Myers, Brian Thomas Jr., all of them scored fewer than 10 fantasy points in PPR. It happens. If Pukka's out, Terrence Ferguson is where, Heath. - Right around 12 that tied in for me. Jamie. - Same. - Same. - Okay. - If Pukka's in Terrence Ferguson is. - Stash. - On the bench. - Yeah. - All right, let's see what the roster ship is for Terrence Ferguson. 25%. If Pukka's out, would you start Terrence or Jake Ferguson? - Terrence. - Terrence. - Gonna sit bonic, I assume? - Yep. - Yes. - Start Jaylen Waddle. - Number two is here. - Yep. - Waddle or Adams? - Adams. - Adams. - Adams. - Waddle if Pukka plays. - I'll probably have Adams and Waddle back to back if Pukka plays. - What movie is Adams College in? - I don't know. - Adams College? - Yeah, they play football. We got the football team there. Come on. It's Booger and Ogre and all of the revenge of the nerds. How are we looking at the Broncos one? Really dancing revenge of the nerds? - No chance. - Yeah, I'm with you. - I'm not sure he's heard of it. JK Dobbins, RJ Harvey, Jonah Coleman. Two of them were limited. One mispractice. Heath, what the hell are we doing with the Denver running backs this week? - If Dobbins is active, then he is the best Broncos running back. We're projection to play right now. He's right around RB30 for me. So he's a flex behind Ramondri Stevenson, who we don't really want to start either. And remember, in week one, they didn't have their sleep. And they didn't have Aaron Donald. We saw the Rams run. The Rams all defensive line was just an absolute nightmare last week. And didn't even have Miles Garrett. This is going to be a tough team to run on, I think, and sit up in Angrom. What are we doing with the DSTs in this game, Jamie? - I would just start them, you know, much more encouraged by the Rams because I think Bonex is going to struggle with this defense. He played better than I anticipated last week against Jacksonville's defense, but still not great. So I just think you start them. - All right. Waddle, by the way, kind of weird note on him. He had a 65% slot rate in week one. Down to 26% in week two. I don't get the usage there. This is our last game. Heath, I think, pretty easy game here. Start Walker. We talked about Rishi Rice. Go back to one question for each game if you want the Rishi Rice analysis. He's a start, but maybe a reluctant one, especially for Heath. My homes. He's playing like, wow, did he look great on Sunday night. However, what's the concern level of him just not needing to do anything here and not putting up numbers? - I'm pretty low just because I think they'll probably score four touchdowns before he comes out of the game. Two of them. Like, they're still doing some of the inside the 10 Andy Reed stuff. And I think Ken Walker's awesome. He's a top four or five running back rest of season. But for the benefit of Patrick Mahomes and maybe Rishi Rice and Travis Kelsey, I think it might matter a little bit that they got stuff to the goal line a couple of times last week because that offense prefers to do crazy stuff inside the 10 as opposed to just handed off and now they have license to. - So how about the Bryce Young and Tyler Schuck versus Patrick Mahomes? - Mom. - Yeah. - I mean, look, the dolphins allowed three touchdowns to Kirk Cousins. They allowed three total touchdowns to Brock Pertie. Pertie was at one point. I don't know what he finished. He was 20-22 throwing the ball. Like, this defense stinks. This team is so bad. - Yeah, they are. Patrick Mahomes last year, he had four games where he played and they won by 14 or more of more than 14 points. And he threw 37, 37, 35 and 34 passes. But this year, he threw only 27 passes in week one. He's still had a good game, though. - That's enough. - I hope so. I think so. - No, I think he, you know, it's early for this. But it wouldn't surprise me based on some of the things and the narratives that came out, especially from him, if he's haunting the MVP. And this is a pad your stats gave me. - Can you win MVP and come back player of the year in the same year? - It's him, so sure. - And no wide receiver has more than five targets against the dolphins yet. That's something to keep in mind. - It's reason to be concerned about Rice, really is. But I think this is potential get right game. - Now, Travis Kelsey appears to be a must start at this point. Although, you know, week one was kind of lucky. But he was amazing in week two and I saw a stat yesterday on ESPN.com that his, he's like, he's running his routes in terms of miles per hour. Travis Kelsey, he's faster now than he's been in like two or three years. - Yeah, he's a winning shape and it didn't stop. - Yeah, there you go. - They said on the broadcast, I haven't been able to perfectly verify this. The chiefs released some things that he now is the all time leader in your after catch. - Yes, he is. - And they said on the broadcast, he currently leads all wide receivers and tight ends in yards after catch this season. - Well, yeah, that makes sense. You have that huge play. - Right. - Yeah, that's wild. Okay, Devon H&N. Are there any running backs? Any scenarios we can see yourself sitting Devon H&N this week? - Chuba and. - Right. - No, I'm not. - Okay. Yeah, he's pretty much going to be a start. Anyone else for the dolphins? - No, Douglas has injured. You know, we'll see how many fantasy managers drop him or have to drop him because of being an end-to-bench guy. Malik Willis has not been good. Like, sleeper, deep sleeper wide receiver. I think Malik Washington has a 26% target share already. Now Caleb Douglas is out. Chris Bell may not be healthy. Malik Washington might get your double digit fantasy points. He's definitely in that Xavier Hutchinson range of guys. Start the Chiefs DST and have yourself a wonderful Thursday, folks. Enjoy the game tonight. We will talk to you, Dave and I will do the waiver wire in a little bit. And we'll talk to you on Thursday, on Friday, the starter season. - The almost didn't. - The almost didn't. - The whole game. - Talk to you later. See ya. - Paramount Podcasts.
