Week 3 Recap: Denver Robs LA, Drake Maye-Day, Dallas Disaster, Purdy is a PROBLEM, and the Undefeated Raiders

The episode of "The Rigor Fantasy Football Show" blends fantasy football insights with deep analysis of recent NFL games, focusing on the Rams-Broncos matchup and the Dallas Cowboys’ poor end-of-game strategy. The Rams' controversial interception and the Broncos’ comeback are highlighted as a high-stakes, defensive-driven game, while the Cowboys’ decision to kick a touchback in a critical moment is widely condemned as a preventable coaching failure. The Las Vegas Raiders are celebrated as a revitalized team under new head coach Clint Kubiak, marking a significant turnaround from their previous struggles. Meanwhile, Jacksonville’s Trevor Lawrence is praised for strong offensive performance, though a questionable in-game decision raises concerns about confidence. A central narrative involves quarterback Drake May, whose erratic performance—including multiple fumbles and interceptions—is linked to potential injury and mental issues, prompting anxiety among fantasy football players. The show also touches on the unpredictability of the NFL, using player behavior and analytics to stress how quickly narratives can shift. Mavily New York is introduced as a new product, promoting a setting mist with advanced, non-residue technology. The episode concludes with a humorous yet insightful reflection on the unpredictability of sports, fantasy football, and team performance, wrapped in a promotional push for Fandall.

Welcome to the ring or fantasy football show. My name is Danny Hyves. Today I'm joined by Danny Kelley and Craig Coraldeck, and we are going over all the games from week three of Sunday of week three of the NFL season. And we're going to start with Rams Broncos, the Sunday day of football game that just concluded. I think the Rams were robbed. That was really weird because the Rams totally intercepted a pass at the end of the Broncos game winning drive. And then they called it a foul on the Rams defensive back when they intercepted a pass, even though it was clearly, clearly a foul on the Broncos. And so on one hand, I think the Rams were robbed, like unambiguously. I would agree with that. The receiver, was it Pat Bryant? Who was it? Troy Franklin? Yeah, Pat Bryant. It was Pat Bryant. Yeah. He did a great job. It was successful, but that was a remarkable interception by the Rams in it. When you bring in Terry, Terry's like, yeah, I don't, uh, I don't know. I don't see anything. I don't see anything that would indicate that was a foul by the defender. I don't, again, it bears repeating, we haven't talked about it yet in 2026. When they bring in the ref specialist, and he's like, my job is to clear things up and let you know what me as an expert think, and he's like, that was a pick. It's ridiculous that we can't change the call to what the specialist tells me 25 million Americans is the correct call. And yet it's not allowed. I don't get it. Terry's calling should just be in charge of the process, like they should just let him make the decision to be clear and everybody. I will say this. I don't want to complain about this too much because the reality is, and decan curious what you think. This was a ball don't lie, whether it's cosmic, I don't think it's intentional or conspiracy, but this is ball don't lie for the 2018 NFC Championship game, which is the worst foul call in my lifetime in any sport, which is when the Saints committed the defensive pass interference that was not called. And literally the Rams went to the Super Bowl instead of the Saints because of the worst call I've ever seen. That was Sean Payton versus Sean McVeigh in the Rams, and it was Bill Vinnevitch was the same ref. Now it wasn't the same like lower level ref that made the mistake, but it was Bill Vinnevitch Sean Payton, Sean McVeigh, everyone like same people. So I'm like, yeah, the Rams kind of went to a Super Bowl because of this so it cares. But everything at the end of this game was weird, including the Broncos clock management at the goal line. Frankly, they were lucky. I don't know why they let the Rams even have so much clock at the end. Everything about it was weird. I almost feel like coaches are aggressive mismanaged. Yeah. I feel like we're moving now away from it, like using probabilities in advanced analytics. Like, it's like now people are like, you know what? I know cigarettes are bad. I'm just going to do it. Like I don't know why you wouldn't try to burn clock there. The first play was a pass, and there was like 45 seconds left the Rams at a time out. They're in. You're Denver. Why would you not just run the ball into the middle of the line as many times as you can to burn time out and burn time? Don't understand. Sean Payton's a billboard sales guy. Bill Purcells was like the clock management guy, and then it became Bill Belichek, and then I think it honestly became variable, and it's like this lost art. The Broncos are one of the last teams I would expect to make that mistake of the first and their first and one at first to go out the one, and they do the play action rollout, and I'm like, run the ball. And if you get stuff, that's good, because if you have like, take a time out with 18 seconds left, run it three more plays, or two more plays, get in or kick the field goal. But if you score a touchdown, the Rams can't get the ball back. Giving staff for the ball, the 45 seconds was insane. We saw so much bad clock management this week in this season. It does feel like the coaching version of the skill that is going out extinct. I don't understand it. It's like arm-shared clock management stuff that you're sitting at home and it feels obvious, and you're watching these NFL head coaches not do things that you think are very clear. Dick, do you think we're losing recipes here? I mean, I don't know if this is like a larger meaning for the rest of the league, but it was incredibly frustrating and to the game. I did think, I will say, on a positive note, there was times when the game where I was like, "Man, these defenses are just trading blows." It was a really fun defensive game from both teams. I thought both teams had some big plays, obviously, that Hofong at 66 are at pick six. Late in the game was really exciting than he had at the other pick that sealed the game. Broncos won 30 to 26. I should have said that. I don't know. The defenses were playing really hard and I thought the Broncos come back was really impressive. They were like, they felt like they were kind of out of it. They were down 16 to nothing and it just felt like they had no juice whatsoever and they came back and tied the game up and then it turned into kind of a back and forth game. The end of the game was just a cluster of fuck from so many different angles. I thought the fact that Nick's didn't get in on that touchdown that they called back to. I was like, "Dude, you have to get in there." That is ridiculous. Well, this is my soapbox. Craig soapbox is that appealing to the TV ref who doesn't agree with the NFL refs is insane. My soapbox is that if you need to look at the same angle of replay more than three times, it's neither clear nor obvious. If you need the NBC people to stitch together to the millisecond, two different angles and then I'm staring at it, it looks like an optical illusion of it's his foot touching the white or not. I can't tell if it's six inches above or grazing it and I'm like staring at it and they're like, "Yep, over." He didn't make the end zone. I'm like, "He clear." It's nothing about this is obvious. Terry, what are you talking about? Terry's like, "Well, we have these two angles now that you're watching the simultaneous angles of, but it's the same game speed. So now you can clearly see that BodeNix is foot." I'm like, "You can't clearly see anything." I can't see anything. Maybe I'm just an idiot. It's for this touch in the crowd right now. I'm glad you said you guys couldn't tell either, right? I kind of had no idea if it was for the angle of replay. Not for the angle of replay. They showed. I think it showed a bit of a touchdown. It was so close that it should have just been a touchdown, in my opinion. Within a millisecond, it's like the old technology will not save you. You're always going to have to make a judgment call. Common sense is like, "Yeah, stick with the touchdown." We're talking about a quarter of an inch in a millisecond here. Anyway, so I am glad that the Bronco is probably deserved to win on that play. The foul on not being called was insane, but also the Rams kind of screwed themselves too. I mean, Stafford threw a bone hit at pick six. You guys aren't baseball people, but Stafford reminds me so much of Max Scherzer. They show that stat of Stafford as the most pick six is ever 33, and that really kind of maybe the reason they lost this game. And Max Scherzer is like the king of the solo shot. Max Scherzer is one of the best pitchers of all time, but would always give up these solo home runs because he's challenging people, and it's like a similar energy to what Stafford has. It was pretty cool. Bloodied though, when Stafford came back and went right down the field and led the drive. It was a really cool Stafford game until he did the pick six. I also want to shout out the Dante Adams Patsertan Old School Incredible Old Head Receiver versus number one cornerback Alpha Dog match all night. That was incredible. It was incredible. I would love to transition this into a Jalen Waddle conversation. We can talk about more of the game at large because I do agree with DK that I thought this was a chess match of a game. I thought there was big plays and turnovers, and it was because both these teams are talented and there's like, you're figuring each other out in real time. And I thought it was like an actual, it was a great like full chess match where sometimes the offense would win and sometimes the defensive would win for both teams and that was really entertaining. And the Sertan and the Dante Adams thing was great because sometimes you think like, oh, when the best corner in a league is on your receiver, you consider benching them in fantasy. But Devanta is so good and you trust Stafford and McVeigh and Devanta to make it work. And it is cool to see even when you're, I mean, Sertan basically shadowed him. I think it was like one catch Devanta had was when he was zone coverage without Sertan on him. And what if like 60 yards? Yes. But the rest of it was like Devanta had like six catches for 80 yards on Sertan and it was like a mono, we mono thing. But it was nice to see sometimes when that happens, you're like, well, we're just going to like, he's going to be a decoyl game because we don't want to throw at Sertan. But because Sean McVeigh is like, well, he's the best receiver on our team. We're going to throw it to him. We'll make it work. You'd think that if you have a good player like Jalen Waddle, you could also try to do that. And yet the Broncos is already interested in that. He had two catches today for 24 total yards. And they just, it's just different philosophy. He had two catches for 10 yards in a carry for 14 yards. And it's just different. - He didn't have a two-point conversion, which doesn't count us as a catch, right? - Okay, sure. That's right. It's five points, not three, but it's just, I actually think it's fascinating how some offensive game plans are like no matter what, we will tailor it to get our best players to ball. And other game plans are like, we're gonna take what the defense gives us. And if that means not our best players, it's not our best players. I find it interesting. - Yeah, it's who versus how? Like the Rams are gonna get the ball to Davante and Puka, in just a matter of how. And then the Broncos are gonna get the ball to the open person. It just depends on who. - Exactly. And the Broncos won the game. - I'm not like criticizing, you know, trying to pay-- - And wins a lot of games. But it is fascinating. - It was an interesting game. Davis Webb, I mean, the first three quarters, the Broncos were out of it. It was 16 and nothing. This felt like it was gonna be a blowout. It felt like the Bron, it looked like the Rams were gonna win this game 30 and win nothing. And then all of a sudden, the Broncos go down, they score that, I mean, the, the Broncos ended up getting this, I mean, the two-point conversion to the road and making 16 into 16. I feel like you never see that happen. - No. - Yeah. So many things, Bonyx at one point, I think had three passes batted down in like a five-minute span and the fourth quarter. It was like a big, snip-stab game. Like the walless that corner back on the Rams ended up giving up a huge touch down, or a huge completion of Sutton before he had a pick. Like there was just so much going on and back and forth. But there was the, we're discrepancy. The end of the third quarter with a clock ran out and then Stafford screaming and they're like, there's no time left and they're like, "Toriko's like, "actually they're putting a second back on." And the trick was like, nevermind. - We're going to commercial. He came back and said that if the play clock and the game clock both show the same number at any point at the end of the quarter, you can't get a delay of game that's a rule. I didn't know that was-- - That was Venn diagram between the two. - Added to the list of things I didn't know it was a literal rule. - This game very well could have been the Super Bowl last year, Denver versus the Rams. Do you guys feel like these teams are super bowl contenders this year in both of them right now based on how they look? - I do. - Yeah. Super Bowl contender in the sense that they could make the Super Bowl and I wouldn't be surprised, yeah. But I think the Rams look a lot better than the Broncos even though they lost, which I don't know how to explain that. Tyler Hague, it was each part of this game. I feel like it tied in for the Rams 'cause Terrence Ferguson got hurt pretty early on. Is that weird and contrarian to be like the Rams look better to me even though the Broncos won? - To me, that's always the story with the Broncos. The Broncos never looked that good and then they win the game. - Yeah. - They're kind of, honestly, they're kind of like the lame Knicks. - Like Bonyx in a nutshell. - On a Bonyx, it should be the Bonyx. - Bonyx in your hands. - They just play 3 shitty quarters and then they win the god damn game. - That's so good. And then we're talking about how Bonyx stinks during the game and then oh wait, actually he won. - Oh, they won, they scored 30 points and they won. - Yeah. - Yeah. - But it's like that was the entire year left. - Did you see your guy on SNL? - Yeah, I did. It was rough. - He looked. - It was bad. - Present. - It was not a specialty. - I watch every SNL. I think it was like the worst SNL I've seen in half a decade. - And it's not really a fault, but it was tough. - I was surprised. They had a long time to write him a lot of jokes. And I was, honestly, it is amazing to me. The biggest cheer of the whole night was just showing OGN and OB. - Yes. - The most popular person in the history of New York City. - And there was a sketch where Jalen was like shooting balls like paper balls into a trash can and he made the last one. And everybody cheered, but it made you appreciate like when Peyton Manning is on SNL. - Yeah, the best joke of the entire SNL was Jalen Brunson saying that this will be like my title run where the first three quarters of the episode is gonna suck and then the ending will be great. But that is basically the Denver Broncos. I like that Bo New York Knicks. The only other thing I want to say from this unless you guys have anything is that Mike Tureko, noting that the Ram Zone or Stan Cronkey owns so many sports teams that it's sometimes he has five teams playing on the same day. - Not only that, 311 days a year he has a team playing a game that he owns. - I, that one really took me a bath. - 311 days a year. - That's, that's crazy. - Yeah, the only thing I'd like to shout out in this game, there was a couple things. One Kyron Williams continues to be great every year. And he's incredibly dependent on what we're good in the passing game. And also-- - Oh, I think the game winning touchdown is supposed to go to him. Stafford was looking for, I think, for Kyron at the end there. - Yeah, yeah. And then, man, you know, we joke about how some receiving groups are quite bad, Miami, you know, the poor Niners, guys are dropping like flies, dude. The Rams, like when you root, if Devonta Adams, like, has a cramp, it's good. It's like Konata Mumpfield. - Mumpfield. - Who had 93 yards in touchdown. - Sounds like a role doll to made up disease. - This is not going to giant peach. - Yes. And like, that is literally it. I mean, it is really, really crazy out there. And they're depending-- - That's all tight ends. - 50 yards down the sideline. I'm like, dude, do not pull a hamstring. Like, you're all they have. - Well, it's like the Rams, they're starting lineup for Sunday in football. It's just 13 personos. Three tight end lineup. Was there starting personnel for the Sunday in football? - And then Terence Ferguson went down immediately. I was like, man, it's Davis Allen. It's Tyler Higby. It's Konata Mumpfield. And it's 33-year-old debunk Adams. It's remarkable they look as good as they do. - They really are stars and scrubs team. So yeah, Rams are one and two. Yeah, that's weird. Okay, I like the Bo New York Knicks. Okay. - It's pretty good. - Winners and losers elsewhere. This was a crazy overall day. I believe they, they took a full fall. Did Terika throw out at the end there that this was the most one-score games in a single day in NFL history? - He said there was 11, I believe. - That is crazy, especially when you consider the idea that they all could cut one-score games and generally speaking, could all be coin slips. Like it's kind of funny to think 11 results and one day kind of could have flipped. There was one place we have to start though, Craig. - Yeah, we're gonna travel down to Brazil because my loser the day is the Dallas Cowboys who lost the Ravens 34 to 31 in Rio. They lost on a game losing field goal as time expired by Tyler Loup. Nancy had a great call, a trio in Rio, which was great. Nancy just improvised that. - Still got it. - He wrote that days ago. - Yeah, I promise. - Knowing that they were gonna kick field goal the win. I don't know. - I think it happens in football sometimes. - I'm sure you have some things prepped and he thinks about it, you know, these guys are pros. You gotta have your friends. - You think what Jim Nance is doing the masters when he's thinking of that in the moment? - I think he just improvised. - I do think some of the grades just have it and just comes to you. - Yeah. - And maybe now he's so grizzled and maybe he's like, it'll be final figured out on air. - Just a chance, he just thought of trio in Rio. - Maybe he did. - Fuck that hard. - Come on. (laughing) - Trio in Rio arrived. - Yeah, right. - Trio really thought of it up Friday and wrote it down. - I like fucking Shakespeare over here. - I don't know. - I don't know. - But yeah, I mean, look, this was a really entertaining game. This was a great game. Dallas was up early and then Baltimore came back and then Baltimore was up and then Dallas came back and then Nance and Watt on the broadcast were talking about how all the Ravens do his blow. The game's and how this was going to happen again. - Chargers East. - Chargers East. And then Dallas, similar to Sean Payton, it's like, I don't know what these coaches are fucking doing with the way that they manage the clock. Dallas was, the game was, they were down three, correct? I'm not getting myself confused. They were down three and it was second in goal from the eight yard line with 20 seconds left in the game. The Cowboys have the ball there down three. Dak runs the ball for three yards. They call it time out. So now it's third in goal from the five and there's 14 seconds left. And so they decide to throw the ball away over George Pickens head in the end zone. Now making it fourth down with 10 seconds left and they kick a few goal to tie the game and now the Ravens get the ball back with seven seconds to go. And then Dallas decides to kick the ball through, the kick off through the end zone so that Baltimore just gets the ball without having to return the kick and burn time. They throw a deep shot to Zayflowers, get the ball down, spike it, kick a few goal lose the game. - Like if they would, if they had forced them just return the kick, the game probably was over. - There's like 10 things you could say that like would have won Dallas the game because it's like, if your plan was to just throw the ball away over Pickens, why call the time out? Why not wait till two seconds left and just kick the few goal? - 'Cause Pickens was open by the way. - That's the worst part. Is Dax set up to the game that the coverage they play 99% of the time George Pickens is covered. The problem was on this one percent of the time George Pickens was super open and Dax was a model by the way. - The call was to throw it away. - I think the call was to throw it away unless Pickens was open. - And Sean Heimer kind of said he was overcoached him. He's like, overcoached him in the moment, basically saying, look, if you're not a 100% certain, just chuck the ball out of bounds. - Sean Heimer's taking the blame because they were like, yeah, if it's not open, throw it away real quick. And I think Dax was over and Dax done that. There was 14 seconds left. I mean, it was amazing to see what Kurt Cousins did today from like getting what he was, how far he went down the field in like 12 seconds. And it reminds me of that 19 seconds where the call was couldn't get the ball spiked in 19 seconds. And Dax got 14 seconds to work with. You can't take a sack, the game, you can't take a sack. So it's like, you only have so long. But if you just fire. that ball to pick and games over touchdown. Totally. Or again, kick kick the ball, make the Ravens guy return the ball. And that's the worst of all seconds off the clock games over. They were in that situation because they had a fall started first and goal at the one just like they're just or at the two like the Ravens did, but the kickoff return. And again, so the Cowboys end up tying the game and they kicked the Ravens the ball back with I think was seven seconds. Yes. I think that's the worst coaching decision of the entire year year. And it will stay that way. And there's a lot of things. Watch it. He fucking bombed it. It like went into the stands. They're like, I fucking let loose have at it. I think that's the that's the worst coaching decision of the year because you're basically decide because again, DK, as you always say, analytics, whatever the entire end point goal of analytics is just can you calculate what the other team doesn't want you to do. If you could kick the entire temperature of like their deepest fears, what do they want you to do? All the Ravens wanted in that situation was a touchback because if you don't get a touchback time, it's the only thing they need. You have to return the kick for a touchdown. The odds like no other option, the odds they return it for a touchdown. I'm like minuscule. The odds that they complete the odds that they returned it for a touchdown are much less than completing a 25 year pass and then getting to K fuel roll. Exactly. And that's the thing is the rate. The it's wrong on every count. The touchback goes to the 35. The kickoff returns probably not going to get to the 35. So it goes further and it doesn't cost you any time. So the Ravens Jesse mentor the coach of the Raven said this after the game. If you give us the touchback, we only have to go 15 yards to kick a field goal. And the you know who understands this better than anyone Dallas, who has branded Aubrey who's made a kick from the 50. So it's like doing that you're like it's you just coach brain. There was so much coach brain today where you're like, well, the kickoff and like, what if they return and they have some weird kickoff? You know what the problem is? The cowboys were bleeding players in the secondary. All their defensive backs and Dallas were hurt you. And what did they do? They ended up having a miscommunication and they got the ball debatement and they got the time out the second left. But literally if they just squib kicked anyone in Madden would have understood immediately. Do a kickoff. Don't let the offense come on the fucking field. I don't know how Brian Shotheim who's been in the NFL's entire life since he was a child, basically, and didn't understand in that situation. It's just it's mind blown. It's the first game in the Super Bowl era where both teams kicked the field goal in the last 10 seconds of the fourth quarter. How about this so like stat Ben so look at this. The Ravens game winning drive with seven seconds at the clock is the shortest game winning drive of all time in the entire spin database, which goes to 1978 is the shortest game in the drive ever. I'm not sure it could be shorter. Maybe six seconds. Like I don't know what else you if you could really get away with. That's the best fastest you could ever go. Maybe in theory, but at some point you can only go 30 yards so fast. This is the cowboys have had some of the worst losing games I've seen. I know the Ravens do this all the time and lose games. But the 19 not able to take a spike in 19 seconds. The same weekend the chiefs got the 13 seconds and beat the bills. Like they had that again, the season, any verse, the Niners and Z Kelly. It was lined up at fucking center. I don't know. Shotnemers done a good job with Dallas, but Christian Parker, the defensive coordinator for Dallas. I don't know. This one took a village because there were so many problems with this Dallas sequence. And again, players too, Javante fumbled on fourth and one Jake Ferguson fumbled a shovel pass. There was a holding that negated a big George Pickens play that led to a Brandon Aubrey field goal. That was then blocked football. That happens in every game. You can decide whether you kick the kickoff in bounds or out of bounds. That you have control over that. You can't control whether players fumble or not. The problem is not the problem to me is that my brother and I, I feel like I feel like we knew this at eight years old. I'm not being mean. It's just true. There are plenty of eight-year-olds who know to just just bathe in the game here on the kickoff. The odds of the kickoff return are so much smaller than a 20-year completion. I don't understand right now. Can I, can I ask a quick question? Okay. In the moment, it felt a little generous that they did give them that extra second. Did you guys feel that way? No, no. Yes, with the TV broadcasts. When I saw it, they was, they were shot, Bateman, I forget. It was Bateman. Bateman. When Bateman went down, when he like caught it and kind of like need to the ground, there was like two seconds and it went down to one and it was like, it was a fun. I was wrong as a flat. There was enough time. Like he went down and it was like two to one and I thought it was fair. It felt that way, DK, because there was this dramatic flair of the field going, popping up as he hit the ground. That was crazy. And like so it's like right on it. You'd be like, oh, they'd get it. But I'm like, you can't hear Lamar, Jesse, but you're ever screaming for a time out. You know what I mean? No, I know, I'm just kind of funny, but the line did just pop up in basketball. If it's a close game and the opposing team is shooting free throws, if you're on the rebounding, like if you're on defense, you can tell the ref, hey, ref on a miss, we're calling the time out as soon as we get the rebound and the ref's like, got it. And so you almost don't even have to do it. They're like, no, it's almost weird that you can't do the same in football where it's like, hey, ref, the second we catch the ball in their ass, it will be a time out. But the coaches do that all the time. It's the same. I don't know the basketball was a hundred percent. Look, look, when Lamar put the tee up and it's like, yeah, but isn't it, shouldn't it just be automatic? But to my understanding, when you talk about basketball, is they're telling the ref so that when that happens, the ref looks at them. But if you still have to call the time out, it's not like some automatic thing. You know, sure, but like the ref at a football time, like when they do the clock down, the coaches like, let's say they're like leading the clock down to kick a field, go two seconds. They're telling the referee at the beginning, I'm going to call time out two seconds left. Yeah. And then they do it to like, they're telling referees, but it's just funny that like, can't you just say time out, time out, time out for six seconds? And so you're always saying it, like, why do they have to do that to me? Like, can't you just be doing this the whole play? Yeah. I think I don't like. I just think it's funny because like how many times during games have you seen a coach like sprinting down the sideline, trying to find a fucking raft. It's quite literally when they say he was awarded a timeout. And then like, yeah, they were like really on top of that to get a time out. Where's a coach? We have to we have to see the coach. It's so stupid. It's Bruce Ariin. So yeah, it's so true. Like, somebody's guys are walking around with like these things, like they got the World War II, like the D day, like radios with them. And it's like, you think they could have the jeopardy button. Yeah. I mean, this is a sport where if you want to challenge the replay where there's 40 state of the art cameras going to 100 million people, you have to throw a red sock. A bean bag, really. So anyway, yeah, the cowboys, that was brutal. But I do want to I want to let's just have anything else in that game. No, great game. I want to go positive. And I want to I want to say my winner of the week is the Las Vegas Raiders. The raiders. Sorry. The three and no undefeated Las Vegas raiders. I was a bad permanent. Raiders beat the Saints 35 to 27. Raiders are three and no, which is how many games the Raiders won all of last season. They've already won that many this season. And the only undefeated teams, the AMC are the bills, the chiefs and the Raiders. And I want to just say, as I was talking Austin Gale earlier today, Tom Brady fixed the Raiders by hiring Clint Kubiak. He nailed this pick as head coach. And the Raiders look awesome. They look like a professional football team, which I haven't felt that way about the Raiders in a very long time. Been a minute. Kirk cousins is playing professional quarterback. And they're they're calling professional offensive calls. And they have good players. And they're smart. And they're making right decisions. And they look like a competent football team. It's awesome. I think when the Raiders are good, the NFL better. 100% Craig. And it's been so long since they were good. Yeah. The Raiders are awesome. Do they're such a fun franchise? Yeah. I mean, I know I'm biased, but like isn't basketball a little more fun that the nicks are good? No. No. Well, fuck you guys. I had a great time. What are you talking about? Yes, I totally agree. I usually tend to like when like famous big-market teams are good. I think the Raiders are just like, there's so many Raiders. Raiders fans and like Kirk cousins to the only quarterback this season are three top passing touchdowns in each game. Because it says nine touches. He's first to the NFL and touchdown pass. He was tied. Because it's born to play in the system. Like they're all like very shanian thing. Also the very shanian thing. The wrong franchise. Mendoza started. Like this is working. This experiment of like we're going to bring in the established veteran to coach up the rookie. This is like going swimmingly. And net because if the Raiders were on three right now, it'd be like when's Mendoza come? Yep. And now he's going to he might not have to play all year. Yeah. And you have Brock Bowers, the football robot from heaven is back. He's an absolute monster. It's like amazing today. 10 catches 116 yards in a touchdown. 12 of Kirk cousins is first 25 passes were for Brock Bowers. 12 of his first 25, which is ridiculous. So like also this creates that Brock Bowers says as many games. I don't we should call this something. A Deco, whatever, a 1,100, which is one touchdown 10 catches 100 yards, which we need a name. And Bowers says as many of those games, one touchdown 10 catches 100 yards over the last three years is every other tight end in the NFL combined in that span, even though Bowers was hurt for a lot of the period. Like he he's unbelievable. And every big play was for him. And everything he did was such a high degree of difficulty. He's always effortlessly open. And the defense is a little weird, but they at least make massive plays when they need to. Yeah. The Raiders are like a havoc team on defense. They have their top 10 in pressures. They're I think fourth and sacks through four through three games. I do think it is is worth noting, and sorry Austin, they did. be the dolphins and chargers and weeks one and two. This seems like the most legit win that they've had. The chargers are an absolute mess. And then the dolphins are quite literally tanking. But overall, you have to feel great about what Kubiak has brought the energy this team has. I mean, this was like legit. The worst team in the NFL last year. Now they look really competent. As you guys noted, bring in Bowers back and having him healthy, just a game changer for them. Like the way that they can kind of move him around the format. You know, I know about why he's basically, you know, like their number one receiver. Hi, if you talked about this all offseason, he's not really a tight end. He's like their number one receiver. He's Travis Kelsey, basically. He's not exactly Kelsey's size. But I mean, he might he's a receiver at tight end. The thing I love about Kubiak and this is something I talked about last year, the year before is I just really like that. This is, again, part of the reason why I fucking am just so annoyed with the Broncos. Kubiak knows how to use his good players. Like I 've got this really, really fucking talented guy. I'm going to make him the focal point of the offense. Sure. It's a crazy idea. It just might work. I think the simplest answer is that Sean Peyton's been coaching in the NFL more or less as long as Kubiak's been alive. Like Sean Peyton's been a football coach for Kubiak's entire life, like 40 years. And the Sean Peyton, it's like trying to teach you tell your parents to do anything. Like you ever try to tell your dad to do something. Never. Like tell Sean Peyton, give him a play. It's just it's just hard. I, yeah, the Raiders. And again, this is a weird stat and probably dumb. I don't care. Blue, my, I just was like, well, opt to sports of this, the only other team to ever get the number one pick and hire a new head coach in the in the same year. And then start 3 and 0 was the Green Bay Packers with Vince in the party. Well, I caught my eye. But yeah, they named, they named a trophy after that guy. Didn't they? Did they? It's looking trophy. Yeah. The Raiders played the Chiefs next week. We're also 3 and 0, which is really fun. Yeah. It's the biggest Raiders game in a minute. So shout out to the Raiders. Dika, who's your winner? I got to shout out the Jacksonville Jags for being big time winners this week. Just a demolished the Patriots. Like it was a embarrassing game for the Patriots. The Jags now through Cohen's first 20 regular season games are 15 and 15 or sorry, 15 and five. Incredible start for Cohen. I think he has been an absolute game changer for that franchise. Obviously, this is this franchise has had some really rough goes with, you know, coaches, players, all that stuff going back here. They're the embarrassment of the NFL at times. And they look to me like an absolute buzzsaw. Since the start of last year, the two, the two players with the most total touchdowns are Josh Allen and Matt Stafford. Trevor Lawrence is directly behind them with 45 total touchdowns since the start of last season. Sorry, did I say Trevor Lawrence Trevor Lawrence is. I think Lawrence's turn around under Cohen has been really incredible the way that he's transformed this offense. They just feel to me like, it's kind of like what we're talking about the Raiders. This is a professional team now. They are, they are very competent. And I trust them to be in the right place and do the right things. For the first time, it feels like forever. And except for Trevor Lawrence taking a knee at the one yard line. That was like, I don't know if I've ever seen someone pull up and like, say, I'm not going to score when there's eight minutes. There's eight minutes left in the game. That's a guy who's not used to winning. I got to tell you. Did he thought, did he think it was like a three? Did he catch the other parts of the letter? Like eight minutes left in the game. He's pulling up on the one. An intrusive thought I had during this game was as impressive as the Jaguars R. Trevor Lawrence thinking that he needed to not score there. I kind of think he'll never win a Super Bowl. Oh, that really. I couldn't. There's something about it where there are a handful scenarios, but there are scenarios, plenty of them, where you would not score a touchdown and take a knee at the one. And fucking zero of them are with more than four minutes left in the game. And there were eight. And he's a quarterback who's at his six year. And I think it was weird that he didn't know which time was in the game. And he admitted that afterward. However, I don't want to read his break. It was weird though that he's like, Oh, there's eight minutes left. I'm like, you're the quarterback. What do you mean this eight minutes left? He had a brain fart. Yeah, let him let him. He's kind of a, well, didn't we call him a blockhead last year? Trevor Lawrence. It's a weird thing. They did not know, but they played great. They look great. Parker Washington, amazing touchdown today. Every week now, Parker Washington does like two or three incredible things. The run in the ball better. Tudon, I actually think looks kind of good. I was a little unimpressed with Tudon. I think he's getting better. Oh, I think students look really good. Yeah. Tudon look good. They're doing all this with Brian Thomas Jr. doing basically nothing. Travis Hunter at a pick. They're playing him more at corner, which is I think is the correct move. And that paid off today. Did you guys see the weird thing with Josh Allen? Josh Heinz Allen? The ball after the Travis Hunter pick. What happened there? Yeah. He wanted the ball. The Travis Hunter caught. And then the ball guy from the NFL wouldn't give it to him and then they had a weird thing. This man assaulted me. He's like, this man pushed me, you can't. Man, it costed me. Which like, maybe that's the rule. You're like, not allowed to go up. I'm sure that is the rule like the official NFL ball holder guy. You can't like fuck with him. But it wasn't really funny interaction. He's like, no, Tudon, Jay, you touched me. You can't do that. He's like, I just wrote the ball. He's like, no. It was in Jacksonville, too. Very weird. He's like, I just want to give the ball to my friend. He can't intercept me. You can't get away from me. This is on camera. Oh my god. He's like, kind of carrying him. He like pulled out his phone. It was very. You're being recorded right now. So he's on the cell phone calling the cops. He hit me. He went to the ball. He always kind of wanted who does call the numbers on the billboards for the personal injury lawyers. Oh, I think a lot of people call those. Probably. All right. Well, we used to get on the phone. I always wondered like, when are you actually getting Jacob himself on the phone? Like I think he has like a team of like 500 lawyers, or I don't know how many that are actually handling all these cases. Like, when does it rise to the top where Jacob's taking the case? Is it Jacob? Cause I always think there's top dog. Call Jacob. What's the one I'm thinking about? There's tiger lawyer. What are they? Like, there's so many. Oh, in LA, it's called Jacob. I feel like is a big. A lot tigers, that's who I was thinking of their motorcycle lawyers. There's a law. Jacobi and Myers law firm. Yes. Yes. It's like so random. Emails about the random law firms. I'm sure someone here is thinking about these random. Danny, Danny Craig. That's a law firm. The Ringer fantasy football shows brought to you by Fandall. Try new groupie setting mist from Mavley, New York. We have to, what we're on Jaguar's pages though, we have to get to the real loser of the day. The real loser of the day is Drake May. It's getting worrisome. I have to tell you, Craig, a couple weeks ago, you said that your intrusive thought was that Drake May looked like Carson Wentz and might just be Carson Wentz. Yeah. And that has gone from intrusive thought for me to something I just kind of worry about now. Once or twice a year, I get my hands on one player and I'm just, I just start to feel something. It was pretty small two or three years ago. There's just, there's just something about Drake May that doesn't look right. And I don't, I don't, I don't think he's hurt. And I actually genuinely feel like he has the yips. Like really deeply has the yips. Mentally, I think something is wrong and it's, it's metastasizing every week and it's getting worse. And maybe he'll get through it, but he looks completely lost out there. They have zero flow. So the Jaguars beat the Patriots 35 to six. If we did not say that's 35 to six, the Patriot, again, literally every single game in the NFL today was competitive in the fourth quarter. Even Chief Stolphin's was close at some point in the fourth quarter except Patriots Jaguars, which was over so quickly. Read some of the past stats out there. There's some crazy stuff happening. So the basics here, Drake May, two picks, two fumbles under 200 yards. Drake May leads the NFL in interceptions through three weeks. He already has six interceptions this season. Drake May had eight all of last regular season. You know, they, Mike and Wendy his hurt, then the Greg Van Roten replaced him's hurt too. Mike Rabel's self is saying my concern level for this team is very high. That's a quote from Mike Rabel. But then there are stats that are even fucking worse, which is this, these, that's just like the Moose Boosh. Drake May, or this one's from Doug Clawson. The Patriots offense has scored 29 points in 30 drives this season, which is the fewest points per drive by any team through three games since the first three starts as Zach Wilson's career with the Jets in 2021. So the Patriots runner you want to be Zach Wilson rookie year 2021 points per drive pace. The other one that blew my mind was another one from Doug Clawson, who said that Drake May has nine fumbles and 10 interceptions since the beginning of the playoffs. And Drake May is the first player with nine fumbles and 10 picks in a seven game span since James Winston in 2019, which was the 30 for 30, 30 touchdown 30 interceptions. Oh my god. So in two weeks, we've gone from Craig saying Drake May's kind of like Carson Wentz sometimes to Drake May actually dragging the Patriots down to somewhere between rookie Zach Wilson and James Winston 30 touchdown 30 picks season. I mean Carson Wentz at least tore his ACL, you know, he came back and had eight touchdowns in one pick in his first four games back. Drake May might be hurt. I will say this. Doug Cuyde, our guy Doug Cuyde, please did point out that Drake May might just be like he might have just injured his shoulder in the Broncos ABC championship game. And he just kind of hasn't been the same. He's been hurt. You're saying, okay. Like basically he's saying it's the same injury from last year. Basically he's still recovering. Why is he not on the injury report then? Cause they fucking lie. Interesting. Also, when's a shoulder healthy from a certain, like when's a shoulder healthy? I don't know. Like I don't know. And that's the thing is that mental is a physical. I don't know. But he, I mean, again, the play's trick made made today zero, zero. These are Phantom Fumble. The ball flies out of his hand. Do that play? Craig was talking about Craig was talking about getting the Ick. That's the type of play that will when change change your opinion on a man. There was blood on the ball for the record, which is just bizarre. It's funny because it's just Jared Wilson, the center apparently had blood on the ball. But it's funny to say that there's literally blood on Drake May's hands. There's literally blood on his face. Did you see the college coach, uh, who was he? The guy's face and like you see that blood on his face? No, head coach in the Minnesota football team. They won. And he was like celebrating with his player. And the guy had blood on his mouth. And the coach grabbed the blood. Wipe the blood off of his player's face and put it on his own face. Like a warrior. Yeah, PJ Fleck. He's fucking crazy. I have to speak scat about to do that before the season ends. Oh, my God. And then he punched through the guy's chest, grabbed his heart, pulled it out, beating still in his collar. He was like, Goddamn it. Dipton into a pit of fire in a metal cage. Um, and then he put it in a doggy bag wrapped it up and gave it back to the guy. So I'm in three leagues. I'm in three fantasy leagues. I'm in high school league. I'm in a college league. I'm in my beloved ringer league with you two and Bill Simmons in the gang. You know, you know, in all those leagues, in all three leagues, I have either Drake May or Justin Herbert. I build my marbles on those two guys. And I have to say, like, for all of those people out there who are in the same situation as me who have Drake May who took him early, he spent money on him, even Justin Herbert. I don't know what, what do you do? What do I do? So it's money. And I'm like, do I just start your copy per set? Am I am I picking up Daniel Jones off waivers? Like, we, I will, I will lose everything you can't win when your quarterback scores four points of game, which is what Drake May is doing. Drake May is the second to last scoring quarterback in fantasy, only above James Winston. James Winston blesses heart is averaging four fantasy points of game. Drake May is above him at seven. Seven points of game is what Drake May is doing through three weeks. You can't win like that. There's nothing I can do. I could start fucking Rashad Bateman instead of him. Shadows do that. Do tell me what do I do? I'm in a league with Jackie's family now. None of them have really played fantasy at all, except Jackie and her dad and Jackie and Jackie's mom last week cut Drake May. Just straight up cut him. So I added Drake May and I played him. Yeah. And then now I'm going to lose to her points today. Yeah. And I'm like, do I just cut Drake May too? You're not cutting me but like I don't. But like should we? Should we? Why? Why do we keep ourselves in this prison of, well, you can. We could do whatever the fuck we want. Should we just cut him, Greg? No, because the only thing worse than than having Drake May on your bench or starting Drake May and losing with him is cutting him. And then he goes back to MVP form and you're like, wow, I got the worst. I don't think the MVP form is coming back. I'll be totally honest. I think the schedule thing, I think it's a mix of a bunch of things. The schedule is way harder. Obviously, they played the Patriots played a bunch of bad defenses and like, you know, you know, back up quarterbacks and they just kind of rode the way they got the Super Bowl and they were well-coached. But Drake May for whatever it is, you know, Bill's been talking about Josh McDaniel, some whatever you want to call it, arrogance, whatever with the offense and the way it's being designed. But I mean, again, even if you say, fine, blood on the ball for the Phantom Fumble, I mean, he mispopped Douglas for White Up and Touchdown. Games for, they're at the goal line. Drake May rolls out and throws like one of the worst interceptions I've seen from him. Very Carson Wentz interception where he just throws it right to Travis Hunter in the goal line, it should be 14 times open. Like, I don't know what he's doing. Again, he's, like Drake May is thinking too much and he's seen too little. It's like he has no confidence. He's no rhythms, feet are a mess. He just doesn't seem to, he's always pressing at the wrong times. He doesn't see open receivers. And then it's 21 to three, similarly, completely clean pocket. And he just, good form, like, just steps up, throws and just throws interception, like, it's going to Kyle Williams. It's like, where are you even going? This guy's completely covered. It's like he has no idea what's happening in front of him. DK, I want to ask you, because you're a level-headed person. You're calm, rational individual. So the Patriots have played in Seattle. Did they play the Steelers and then play the Jags? Three good teams. Yeah. I would say Seattle and Pittsburgh are great defenses. Jacksonville, I don't know, maybe not a great, an average defense. But now we talk about Drake May's schedule merchant last year. The next six games, seven games. Here's the Patriot schedule. They're playing Buffalo, the Raiders, the Jets, the Bears, the Dolphins, the Packers, and then the Lions. That is an easy schedule in terms of past defense, point scored, all that stuff. Are we at the point? Because when the bills, I mean, unless you're like just in Herbert, you know, you should be able to score against the bills. So I'm asking you, like, do you think it's over it where, like, yeah, you're starting to copy per set. You're starting Daniel Jones. Like, you are starting the league average quarter back above Drake May now. I think, yeah, I don't know, man, because I had him as a by-low coming into this week. And obviously that looks like a terrible call. We can buy lower now. I want to say that I want to say that I want to say that I think he will not look like this all year. I'm starting to worry that he that calling him a by-low was a mistake, for sure. Let me ask you this right now straight up. Geno Smith for Drake May and fantasy. Do you do it? The next two weeks, I would play Geno Smith over Drake May for the next two weeks looking at the jet schedule. Man, Drake May is broken. Like, he's broken. I'm sorry. Like, I honestly, you could convince me that Sam Darnold exercised to see and ghost thing and how Drake may see and ghosts. DK is trying to trick you Sean Watson or Drake May next week. This is where we're going to ask the horrific, horrific speaks volumes. Does Sean Watson is averaging 18 points a game? Drake May is averaging seven. So much shit changes weekly in the NFL and wildly swings in one direction or the other. I do kind of feel like we're probably overreacting to this. But the whole thing, because Craig was talking about, you know, he just sees something. He gets like the "ic" about it. I saw this. There's like an account I follow on Instagram that's just like, people, why'd you get the "ic" about someone? I saw him stomp at a pigeon and the pigeon didn't flinch. And I was just like, for some reason, like, Drake May throwing that bloody ball and it just flopping out of his hand. To me, it was like that version of an "ic" where I'm like, God, I don't know if I can move past this moment. Now, like, why did I call this guy a by-o? Drake May was like three months away from winning the MVP. I know, dude. That was like in 2026. That was this year. Several months ago. I think he'll be okay. I think he'll bounce back. I don't thank God he didn't win the MVP because this would have been this is like unprecedented, right? Like, has an MVP ever done something like this right after, the year after? I mean, which would be the exactly rare. Which was also good to win that. But he was going. He was being talked about as an MVP candidate like Midway through the year. He didn't finish second. He didn't finish second and voting. I, yeah, I decay. Or maybe I don't, but I don't think you don't. Don't retract the Drake May. Well, when it's got hurt. Well, he missed many games so that he like started to drop down. But I think it would have been like first or second. I just want to just want to keep track of the idea that every week, we have these talks and then the next week, something completely opposite happens. And it happens all the fucking time. And I think it's fine. Ultimately, he's a young player. I think his mechanics are kind of fucked up right now. Craig, you mentioned it. He just looks like he has the yips. The way he throws is very elongated and weird. It's like he's regressing in mechanics too. So I think, but they have a lot of work to do. But I do think he's a talent in a player. He'll get right. He hasn't played well in a really long time. Yeah. I don't know if he's really playing well since week 17 of last season. It's concerning. Yeah. My other winner, and I'm going to pair this with a We're So Back. It's the, it's the, they're the We're So Back. It's so over team of the decade and it's the Pittsburgh Steelers. And this week, they are so back. I love, I love just watching Craig go on the roller coaster. It's fucking hell. It's my favorite thing in the world, but it's great. It's great. It's great. Literally last week. I want to state for the record. It's so over for Aaron Rogers. It's like seven days ago. You could go back to last year. It was the same thing. Flip flop. Snip snap. Every other week. I was like, I'm sick of this Roger's bullshit. It's over. And then I'm like, he looks great. Steelers to go in the Super Bowl. Yeah. We picked the Bengals and ringer 107. The Steelers beat the Bengals 30 to 27 today. Aaron Rogers had 300 yards, three touchdowns. He had a pick that totally wasn't his fault. The offensive line looked great. Rogers had tons of time in the pocket. They could run the ball. Jalen Warren looked electric. He looked like Kenneth Gamewell 2.0. They're making big plays. Even though DK Meccaff tried to ruin the game once again. They still managed to win. It was awesome. They're making plays on defense. The Muffet Punt, Ben Skeronik, came flying in like a bat out of hell to recover the Muffet Punt. Derek Harman, Sack Fumble, Joe Burrow to end the game. The Steelers are great. Rogers are throwing deep. Five completions, 20 yards tied for the most. He's ever done with the Steelers. There's new rookie right tackle. Look good. They switched things up on the line. Everything was cooking. They could have put up more points. There's a lot of stuff left on the table. And yet, they're playing the Browns on Thursday and they're going to lose. Can't wait for that. This was a real like things don't ever change game. The Bengals defense was just totally back to Earth just somehow just completely helpless before Aaron Rogers. And then the Steelers also just have decided they just never covered your more chase. The Steelers have never once decided to cover your more chase. I don't know if they do exist. The Steelers have a wide receiver one problem. The Steelers never cover the best receiver on the other team, which is a bold strategy. It's so bizarre. The Inverse Broncos. We had somebody to put on him. Maybe like an all pro tech corner. DK, as someone who like at one point, I felt like you actually had a strange relationship with your father because of how your father felt about DK Metcalfon. Oh, yes. This was a classic classic. So if you didn't see the game. Late in the game, Jalen Warren had like a, I don't know, 85 yard run or something to get into like the five yard line. And for no reason at all. It was like the meme where it's like no one. No one at all. DK Metcalf fucking strangling a guy for no reason. The guy didn't even want to make the tack. Like he didn't even want to do anything. Yeah. And then he like scored a touchdown later. This is like classic DK Metcalf where it's like he drives you absolutely insane and then scores a touchdown later. He was right open. I don't know what to feel about this. He was wide open on the touchdown and I was shocked. He caught it. Yeah, but I will say the holding penalty on him was kind of bullshit. The ref was like 30 yards away and like I was shocked. They called it. However, he's grabbing shoulder pads on a cornerback that doesn't want to make a tackle. I don't know. He did this all the time with the CEO. Totally. But he drove people insane. The announcers they brought in like one of them gene or somebody and everybody kind of agreed it was a really soft call. But I'm, but I'm not letting him get away with it. DK DK Metcalfon not because this is the type of shit he does all the time. He's a bitch. He's a bitch. He's a bitch. He's a bitch. He's a bitch. He's a bitch. He's a bitch. He's a bitch We're thinking his love like bro was like awesome other than that fumble. I mean burrow played a really good game. Yeah. Does anyone have a wider delta in the perception of how clutch they are and how many times they've actually won a game while losing than Joe burrow. Yeah. I love Joe burrow. But like Joe burrow, it has been years since he actually came back and won a game. Like it feels like it's been a very long time. When Rogers has kept clean, you guys God will admit. You have to. That's correct. But you can say that about so many cornerbacks. Rogers is there's no pressure. This guy can make some throws. Yeah. It's like. Yeah. So can every fucking. But it's almost like he has like a top seven arm in the league when he's kept clean. Yeah. He insists them playing with this style that is like impossible to execute. And then no one can execute it. And then he's like Michael Pittman and then he's mouthing clearly mouthing. He's like, this motherfucker sucks ass. I told you he sucks ass. And you can tell like wide receiver. But yeah. I don't know. But like I just he insists on this style that only like three of his friends can play. And then it's like doesn't work. And then they bring in Mike McCarthy to appease him. And then it takes two weeks, one loss. And he's like, well, Mike's got to call less shitty plays basically. He's the cause of a solution to all of his problems. I would like to say we can we don't have to get into the air. I was just saying Darnel Washington is my favorite player in and NFL history. He's so fun to watch. We should. The all like I will do anything to what him and scatter boo should just be innocent. They need to give Darnel Washington 10 targets a game. And I'm not I'm not saying that I'm being a hundred percent zero. You know, we were just talking about like how the Rams even though Sir Tan was there. It's like they figure out any Devont Adams like 13 targets today. They should be doing that to Darnel Washington. And the entire game plan should be how do we get this horse the ball? Yeah, dude. You can't tackle. He is a Clydesdale. I don't think I've ever seen an offensive player that is harder to tackle in my life. Genuinely. He's scary. Yeah. The bills. Is there a reason the bill shouldn't do that? He catches the ball. He laughs every laughs. He's right. So ridiculous. It actually is the only time where I'm like actually worried for the health of the defender trying to make the time. I know. He's a he's a menace out there. He actually led the team in receiving today. Yeah. Three catches for 67 yards. Yeah. Don't you guys feel like you're usually worried for the guy with the ball? You're like, oh, they're all trying to hit you. Yeah. And then Darnel is the ball. I'm worried. Oh my god. Linebackers could get fucked up. He's really testing the limits of like how big can you be while still being able to like move and run and be somewhat nimble. Like he's really pushing that limit. Yeah. He's like, he's now just an offensive lineman. It's pretty remarkable. God. Okay. Time for a problem of the day. Hmm. Complimentary. Yeah. Who's a who's a who's a problem out there? You know, it's a problem. Junior Gibbs is a problem. He's a fucking problem. He's a problem. No, he actually is a problem though. He's a problem. Wow. Everyone in like my drafts who always like spends it's like, you know, the first pick or it's usually an auction when somebody spends like $65. I'm like, you can have them. And then the season starts and I'm like, that was that was a fucking steal. He's four, three touchdowns every game. Jameer Gibbs, 27 touches, 164 yards, three touchdowns, Hattrick. 38 points to half PPR. He's the number one running back on the week. Jameer Gibbs, Jonathan Taylor, Kings of the Hattrick. I mean, the line speed, the Jets, 31, 24, the Jets kind of blew it at the end. But Jameer Gibbs, all the touchdowns, you know, he had one just kind of standard at the goal. I needed a third and five screen or that he kind of ran in. But he had one that for like 20 yards out where he just the play was called one way. And then the Jets just destroyed the play and blew it up. And they were like three Jets in the backfield. And Jameer Gibbs just did the wrenchy bush, planted a foot, and then just out ran everyone and just ran to the other side of the field and scored a touchdown like it was called triple, which you just don't do his feet are so quick. The way he changes direction is so rare. It's a him and him and Bijan are both. It's a watching those guys. You feel like you're watching one of the all-time best at the at the position. I did. It's crazy how quick he is. I mean Gibbs is, you know, there's just some, there's every week there's some stat about how Jameer Gibbs is the youngest player to score this many touchdowns, multi touchdown games, blah, blah, blah, every single week. But I do feel like between Gibbs and Bijan and Bijan is a better all around running back because Gibbs is still kind of the liability and past protection of Bijan's a great protector. And also probably better in the open field. But I do feel watching Gibbs and Bijan. I feel the way I feel like people probably felt watching Barry Sanders or watching Walter Payton where I'm like, this guy, even though I've seen all these other running backs, it's just on a different plane. Yeah, it's unbelievable. You know, you talk a lot about like, you need explosive weeks to win a week in fantasy. Like you need players who can explode. Jameer Gibbs is not even just like your classic like he like a James Cook where it's like okay, 18 points every week. James Cook will literally erupt. Like he is one of those players where you know, by the second quarter, sorry Gibbs is one of those players where like you know by like the second quarter, I miss- Playing against him this week, he is single handedly the reason I'm going to lose this week because I was just like this is one of those games Like they're just going to give him the ball They have no solution for him and he will get 40 points in fantasy. They have no one else on their team either He's averaging 27 touches a game. I mean they have like a couple of random guys and PCs that they will give the ball to every once in a while but Yeah, he's incredible. He's so incredible. I love watching him He has by far the most receiving yards among all running backs through the three weeks 150 six yards So he's and he's good. He's really good in the past game obviously, too. So just a special player D.K Who's your problem of the week? Problem dude, JSN once again, fucking problem. We were just talking about Gibbs Get JSN's averaging more points per game than then Gibbs is JSN is averaging 30 points a game Josh Allen is averaging 31 points a game. JSN is like a cheat code in fantasy right now He's ever he's I saw the stat. This is incredible two players ever have had 120 plus yards and a receiving like one plus receiving touchdown Through the first three games of those season the two players are Jackson Smith and Jigba and Jerry Rice like I mean what he's doing is insane He obviously did this with two games with Drew Locke now Darnel's back and he he did it again today He's on pace for 2300 yards and 34 touchdowns Yeah, he leads the league and catches yards and touchdowns right now. He already has If you stopped the season now He would have better receiving stats than anyone on the entire Jets team last year Yeah, he has 405 yards receiving already up That's like what Garrett that's more than what Garrett Wilson did all like in seven or eight games last year and also many other Jets players who played all season like he has he would have that's just receiver statistically only in three games I mean, he has 30 more points than a moderate St. Brown and a moderate St. Brown's the second best receiver fans He's a whole thing incredible. I know the CX loss, but I just had to give Jason props because what happened for that Crazy ass game. Why did you lose to Marcus Mario to Washington? Dude, well, I went on Ben's day and it's pod last week and I was and he was like he covers the commanders And he was like how what is the way that the Seahawks lose this game and we immediately agreed It's like the Seahawks make stupid turnovers like that's the way that they make that's the way they lose this game I also will say Marcus Mario da was throwing some fucking dimes He was on fire. He the the couple of touchdowns that he made were really tough throws He made a couple of really clutch throws late in the game. He made the game ceiling run on a keeper Yeah, they just couldn't get they couldn't get the Marcus Mario da offense off the field late in the game The Seahawks had a chance to win this game They like late in the third early fourth house like oh Seahawks are gonna end up winning it It'll be a ugly win, but they'll win and then the commanders just kept making plays. I was actually really impressed with Mario da in particular, but Terremick Lauren was incredible in this game the Commander's defense made enough plays to kind of put themselves in position the Seahawks made a couple of huge errors Darrell through two picks and then a generic price fumbled so three turnovers It was just it was like a perfect storm for the Seahawks losing what should have been an easy win for them against the team with a backup quarterback Mario to throwing a touchdown to Traylon Berks in 2026. Yeah, so yeah, so you know You have to say the Seahawks second area is really banged up has been all year But this one they lost Julian love he got hurt in practice this week So they were especially then there, but that's not excuse. They made some really terrible mistakes in this game Yeah, they were outgained that could Washington was outgained 437 to 258 They still won but because they turnover battle was 3 to 0 also to me I think the most worrying part with Seattle is they can't run the ball Yeah, like their leading Russia today was generic in price with 15 yards Yeah, he fumbled he fumbled on either the first or the second drive and then they benched his ass until the second quarter I this whole plan is I mean not made any sense to me either because the idea of well Wafers act sharpening and come back for like from the ACL tear he had in February Yeah, and like you'll come back for things give it and like it's just a strange plan I don't really understand what they're doing at running back. I But agree it's it was it was a really bad game and also that last drive They just needed to really stop they had two chances They needed watching him to knock it two first downs and they couldn't like they give up a tower on Rashad white getting the shot right on 39 that had him the right yes. Yeah, that is brutal and then the the keeper of the call at the end to seal the game was perfect But yeah, we're gonna play great. He played really well, but yeah, it was that was that was they should not lost the game no correct who's your problem Brock birdies kind of a problem, dude Yeah, he's having an insane year Brock today almost perfect Brock today was the best quarterback in fantasy 300 yards four touchdowns no turnovers He's the number two quarterback in fantasy on the season 10 touchdowns one turnover He's also the only quarterback in the league who hasn't been sacked pretty much zero sacks zero sacks He's just like I think he's I think it's Josh out in him right now for the MVP He looks so in control. He looks so Smart accurate athletic. He had a 40 yard touchdown run today. That was called back. That was like a really impressive He just rips the ball to whoever's out there. That was because that was a kiddle thing too and kid that was kind of a very sticky tack. Yes But dude, it's like these Niners receivers are dropping like flies Today the the Niners finished the game and the receivers were Debo Samuel Jacob Cowan Kaderl Hodg and Jordan Watkins Those were the receivers because Mike Evans went out with a chest injury You know pier saw Stribbling Christian Kirk to Marcus Robinson all these guys are out. They're most healthy players George Kittle 31 and coming off and coming off in a kill. He's and it doesn't matter Brock Purdy just keeps fucking ripping it. He's so good Before the Niners are done five receivers in seven defense alignment at three weeks and then and Brock Purdy's basically made the Niners Offence as good as any team in the NFL. I agree the MVP is Josh Shell in the Brock Purdy through three weeks And I don't think it's actually particularly close between them and everybody else. I Purdy has been incredible the same reason that I felt that he was not the MVP a couple of years ago Because of all the talent around him. It is unbelievable the level of play he has maintained for this team Amit all these injuries. I he's I mean It's it's tough for the nerds. He's I wish Justin Herbert could ever play as well I know Craig you I think you said it the way he's under control at all times. I think is really what stands out to me through three weeks is There's never been a moment where he looks phased whatsoever even when your pressure is coming like the fact he hasn't been sacked He's crazy He just finds a way to kind of get out of a play or extend the play get out the pocket run You know, I've been calling him a sneaky little shit that 40 that that touchdown run that he had He was absolutely sneaky little shit. They got called back probably should have just been a touchdown But he turned around and threw a touchdown pass to Kittle. I think on two plays later or something like that Yeah, and it's like this is the story of the 49ers. They just they keep losing guys and they just keep going It doesn't seem to like affect them It's right. They're out of spots on their I.R. Craig was right about this on this season Craig was right where he was like right doesn't nothing matters The injuries calisthenic car crash that doesn't matter is Brock Pretty's great and it's Craig was didn't go far enough This is like the best season Brock Pretty's had to begin a year like shield kapati had this stat our colleague shield The best performance by any player EPA per play this season AP per dropback is Brock pretty this week And the second best ones Brock pretty last week. He's just so fishing and four touchdowns almost 300 yards There's so many stats with party right now and just in every situation. It's second half It's third and long. It's complex blows of passes. It's under pressure. It's everything But the thing about it that's crazy is that you just said decay The Niners even by 49ers standards the injuries are out of control And this is a team that at this point. I actually feel like I said five different seasons Just wiped out due to injuries since in the last 10 years and even by their standards the nick bosa has a calf injury And needs to go into reserve But they can't put them in injured reserve because you can only activate so many people to return for my r And they're like running out of spaces and then they lose my kevans and trend Williams in this game And they're two weeks into two and a half they were less than three full games into the season And they were like we can't even put our most expensive defender on IR because we wouldn't be able to bring them back It's insane And you look you can point out that they're scheduled they played the sleep deprived Rams and then they played Miami and Arizona So I mean, it hasn't maybe been the toughest situation and they're playing Denver and Seattle the next two weeks And they're very depleted. So maybe things will feel very differently in San Francisco two weeks from now Well, it without Trent Williams without Jacob Yeah, without I mean, they're going to be down a lot of people but right now Brock is playing as good as anybody Imagine setting your makeup then forgetting it's even theirs Meet new grippy setting mist from Mavily, New York Gel to mist technology locks in your look for up to 24 hours with flexible all-day comfy grip No tightness no stickiness no residue just plum doy hydrated skin that still feels like your skin try new grippy setting mist from Mavily, New York Maybe it's maybe lane Deca any other people a problem you guys the Vikings defense is a problem. Yeah, Flores Flores is making life absolute hell for a posing quarterback so far this year They're scoring a ton of points in favor. So that's the reason I bring it up. They're averaging 14 points per game days and they've had 17 points in the last each of the last two games They're winning people weeks just by having the Viking teams defense. Four team points per game is twice as many as Drake may scores every week. That's crazy. So in ranks, I didn't check this after Sun and I football also just bear with me, but in the NFL, the Vikings are first in sacks, first in quarterback hits, first in Blitz rate, 67% in Blitz rate, which is unheard of. The next closest team is 45%. They're truly out here playing maddened. They are just blitzing. They're sending it on every snap. It's actually insane. Their first NEPA per play on defense, first in success rate on defense, second in points per game allowed. Brian Flore has played maddened. Yes, a kid. You can tell. He's close to the game. Second in points. Yeah, but they are just so, so good. And this is one of those things we're in fancy. We're going to have to like start paying attention to who's playing the Vikings every week and downgrading them significantly. The Vikings, I mean, it's just, they make life so difficult. It just seems like a opposing quarterback can't really figure out what to do against these guys. The best way to explain the Vikings is, you know what? You can't see the rain when the game is going on. Like even Rams Broncos, you couldn't really see it was raining, right? Whenever the Vikings are playing, I'm kind of like, it's raining, right? Something's weird. Why? Why? They're like, I watch you this hair roll. Baker, Baker sucks. And I'm like, God, it must be pouring. I'm like, no, 80 in sunny. By the way, the Vikings, the Vikings be, the Vikings be the bucks 23 to 16 made Baker a living hell. Baker versus Kyler, it was kind of disgusting. Hormel get nasty. The Vikings on offense. We don't need to talk about the Vikings offense because the Vikings offense got hurt and it seems a little concerning. Like, yeah, that didn't seem great. Kyler throws every ball off his back foot. The entire game plan was like, I'm just going to chuck it to Jordan Addison. Hope he catches it. They have, they don't look at it all. Yeah. It was funny seeing Kyler and Baker may feel play each other. Obviously, both went to Oklahoma. Highsman number one pick and both are short and both now are in the waning era of their athleticism where they can't just run around and make shit up like they could. So it just looks really sad when they play a team with a better like with advantage in the line of scrimmage because my god Kyler and Baker, it's almost like they need the play to break and they need to like create shit, but they just don't have that anymore. It was really ugly and it's something about them playing each other. It was very eye opening about how desperate both their styles are and it's cool when it works, but holy shit, it doesn't work all the time now. Literally, it's unsuccessful. Like the success rate in this game was one of the lowest combined success rates in years. And Florida is just absolutely sending it. He's like, he's like the defensive coordinator version of happy Gilmore, where he's like, what if I just wind up and hit the golf ball that could hit it even farther? He's like, oh, there's blitz seven guys every single play. He's like the vibe that you get watching a movie like uncut gems is like how he is just at all times. It's like, this is how I get all my money back. I'm just going to send eight players today or whatever. Yeah, dude. Yeah. Dude, what I have this way, you said that the way that you framed it is, I thought, like, perfect the way that Baker looks on every dropback. It's just it looks like a desperation. Fourth and 10 with the game online, but it's like every snap it feels like the way that he plays every play is hard. Yeah. Is it is it so over for better? This is my it's so over transition. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it's so over with them right now. They're O and three. Baker dislocated his thumb on his right hand, his throwing hand on the last play, last play of the game or last play offensive play of the game. Now they have Jalen Daniels, who is an undrafted rookie free agent out of Kansas as they're starting quarterback, which is like, what what's going on there? They're back up sort of like an undrafted kid. He won the competition. He was the first undrafted free agent to just win a backup job for week one outright in a really long time. Don't feel good about that. And if only someone could have known that Baker would get hurt, I wish we had talked about it because you know, it's one of those like it's weird to talk with the undrafted fridge rookie winning a backup job, but even when it happened, people were like that, that is really weird. Yeah. And I wonder if they're going to maybe sign a veteran. They have to. Yeah. And it's one of those where it's like you see feel so well, here's I guess the way I'd say it is, this is the shit that happens when Todd Bowles and a coach know that they're in a short short short term situation. And when you have any semblance of even a medium term future, you would never be like, yeah, plan B is fucking someone who didn't get drafted this year is insane. But Todd Bowles is just like living a quarter mile at a time because he's going to get fired if they don't make the playoffs. There's no long term plan like a long term plan should be what the bear is have, which is you have Tyson Beijing, who is a guy knows your offense that is athletic and mobile can move. And it's not perfect, but it works really hard. Ever respects him. And the third quarterbacks case kingdom, who's a goddamn coach who's getting paid to be like a player. He's mentoring. The box having this situation is just a just downstream of everyone knows the deal, which is like it's going to be house cleaning if it goes wrong. I don't know. This was sad. This is I think it's tough because last year I, I know I for me at least I chocked up a lot of Baker's problems to just injuries on the offensive line and injuries that he was fighting through. But this year's sensibly he's like relatively healthy at least until today. And he just plays again, he plays every play feels like a desperation fourth and 10. He has the highest pressure to sacrifice in the NFL. Let's think Baker's injuries are like burrows injuries. There are a function of how he plays, which I don't be like it's his fault, but it's a choice. You gotta make the decision to take those hits. You gotta give it to the bucks for not having an offensive coordinator. They're not that bad. Like for the like the fact that they don't have plays called it's they're not that bad. Like they don't just like pointing to his hand. Yeah, they don't they don't call plays. I don't know if you guys know that. It's like the John Mulaney joke like L.A. Pretty good city for no mayor, right? Like that's the box. Not a bad team for no play collar. It's pretty it's pretty you know, it's it's it's hard. He just forgot. He has no idea what his receivers are going to do. That's hard. They forgot to bring one in again. That's why they have an untrafted backup. Like you don't mean the coordinator would have thought of that. Yeah. They've no coordinator. So you kind of got to give it to him. Hi. Can I give you an intrusive thought of the bucks while we're here too? Sure. Did you guys see Baker riving in pain while he like before you knew it was right? You could hear him screaming. You saw him screaming, right? Yeah. Some hyphids. Come on. I'm just saying this is not my feel out of it's not a take. I'm sure it hurt my intrusive thought my unwanted ideation. He's a bitch. It's a finger. What do you call the thumb? My unwanted ideation was that was if my floor is going to make fun of the Caleb thing that that was worse. I don't feel that way. But my first thought was huh. Didn't I thought he had broken his clavicle like I thought he had broken bones. I'm just saying I'm a bitch. That's fine. I just thought it was like considering how much Caleb became a meme all week. I'm like well that was pretty similar if not worse. I mean it's a fun take but because it's Baker is where I push back. He is like top five toughest quarterbacks in the league. So if he if he tells me he's in pain, I believe it. It's not in it. It's not a take. It's an intrusive thought. My first thought was he grabbed his thumb. I was like stop. What? Wait, he just heard his finger. Okay. I got it. Dude, I got a paper cut on my thumb three days ago and I can't live my life. I can't do anything legitimately like my entire life got 20% harder. I reached into a travel bag once and accidentally sliced my finger on a my razor and hit it like fought like five little tiny slices. And I think it it set me back like a month at my job. Yeah. Like I don't know how people thumbs it turns out really important. It's like half the reason human beings are like apex predator on the planet. That was the best part of that. Jalen Brunson SNL was they played the video of Josh Hart shoving his thumb up. Jalen Brunson's ass on the day is for winning the title. Yeah. So anyway, it's over for the box, but I just want to say for for literally not having a play collar, they're doing okay. They don't call plays. Yeah. Another team who does have a play collar, it is so unbelievably over for the charges. It's been over. I don't know if it's ever been more over. I hate this team. It's never it's quite literally has never been more over than it is right this minute. I hate them. I don't want anything to do with them. I hate this professional football team. I hate having Justin Herbert. I hate having all Mary and Hampton. It's awful. It's an awful experience. Everything feels hard. Everything is difficult. And it's awful and I don't think they're getting better. I'm out. I want to sell. I don't care if I lose money on the deal. I want out. There's a bubble. There's a bubble. Should that be the episode this week? Sell low. Buy high sell low. Buy high sell low. The charges find a new show. The charges lost to the bills by eight points, even though the bills had five turnovers. This is like the all time Chargers. I think there's a lot. There's a lot of Chargers Chargers. Over the years. High Fits wrote a whole article about it. They won the turnover battle by five. This isn't a top 20 charges lost to the last 15 years. I'll have you know, I can literally pull up the 20 games, but this is right. But things have never been worse. They won the turnover battle by four. And they scored 16 points. This is the this is the step. This We really I want to keep track of this year. This is the early content of for statistic of the year, which is this one, I mean, this one came from Evan Abrams since 2013. Teams who had five turnovers and won the turnover battle by four are three in 81 and all three of the teams that lost are the charges. You know what, my response to all of this is Touche NFL. I didn't see this coming. Drake May, Justin Herbert, I didn't see this coming. You always keep me guessing. Some I like to think I have a feel. I was dead wrong, but my life ruined this year. My fantasy seasons are ruined because I had no idea that Justin Herbert and Drake May would be a disaster and that this charger thing is just an absolute catastrophe. I had no idea. So Kudos Touche. I feel like we spent so much time in them. I don't even want to do it. I just, I do want to shred them a little. We talked to them so much they deserve it. They settled for two field goals. I mean, the bill started fumble punt pick pick. The charges are good in the first half. It charges settled scored. Yeah. It's settled for two field goals and they missed one. So they're only up 10 point, 10 to nothing after three turnovers. The charges ran on third and five and then punt, which isn't just about that, but it suggests that Mike McDaniel either ran on a third and five hoping to get five yards or thought they'd go for a fourth down and didn't either ones a little concerning because I think Ben Johnson and the Bears run for and the Lions used to run for a third and five all the time, but they're going to go for it on fourth down as long as they get like three yards. So you have to do the same page to do that. That's concerning. Charger's second and go out the one got two straight fall starts. That was just fucking stunning. The bill's new stadiums allowed us hell. Quentin Johnson dropped it incredibly like the game on the line season on the line third down. That was like wide open in his hands, bread basket, really crushing. Joe Alt leads the entire NFL in penalties. Literally any player, not just lineman. Joe Alt has the most penalties in the NFL. Did you, sorry to interrupt you, but did you see the graphic that they had during the game where it was like, Joe Alt, he's just like, oh, he's like going like this. He's like flexing and then like the graphic under him was like tied for the NFL lead with six penalties. I'd be pissed if I did that if I was a player. They're like, yeah, just pose. We'll use this for like your intro. And then they're like fucking worse player ever. And you look like an idiot. It's like, oh my god. They really fucked you out. That they're like, yeah, Joe, well, you're good enough like negative press about you. It's fine. You can flex. What's gonna happen? Yeah, flex. Oh my god. And then yeah, Brady called Herbert's interception over the middle of the middle and he pulls up, which it was because Herbert just had safety blindness. It just didn't see the safety over the middle of the field in the inside. Why would you look? Yeah, no, it's terrible and we should move on. They they hurt. Herbert's a disaster. Hamptons a disaster. Yeah, uh, Hampton doesn't hit. Not only is it me and Hampton bad in fantasy. I'm hearing Hampton does not look like a special player at all even when he gets the ball, right? Hampton has some of the worst vision in the league. Hampton and again, he's just running into shit. You know, fig beetles, you know, those beetles that like look kind of big and they just run into shit. That's what I'm wearing. Hampton is big. Yeah, they don't know what they're they're drunk. He's just running into things. Reminds me of Leonard fornet a little bit where I used to call him. He was like, uh, what are the, you go to the fair and like you get into the crash cars? I can't remember what that's called for cars. For cars and they the way that they like operate is like you just can go straight and then if you like have to turn, you have to like reverse and you go all wonky and it's just like they drive all erratically and stuff. That's like what he looks like. It really, honestly, Hampton is a lot like the things we have before net. You're right. The charges, it's also worth remembering. Lads of disaster, Quint Johnson's a disaster. All things that God damned disaster. Yeah. They didn't even want to draft a bearing Hampton. They tried to trade back with Eagles in the time. Pro football talk reported this. The Eagles and charges agree it on a trade. The charges are going to trade back and then the Eagles didn't file the paperwork so they drafted a bearing Hampton. No, they didn't like him. No, he was the highest player in the board, but I'm like, yeah, it's they probably shouldn't have done that. Anyway, God, um, God, okay. Craig, who's so over so back? Geno Smith is kind of so back, you know what I mean? On the jets. It's a mini wear so back because the jets are one and two, but it's not his fault. Geno Smith looks poised. He looks good. He looks like an adult. He's he's he's ninth in the league and passing. He already has no he has no interceptions this year. Geno Smith through three games. You can make the case. There's some if you go through, you could kind of make the argument. This is the best first three games of a season of jets quarterback has ever had. Yeah. That's how good he's just playing. He's fifth in the league and passivating right now. Yes. Geno like looks great. And the offensive line looks great. And they're one and two. There's a lot of bad coaching that's taking place. The defense has let stuff up. Geno's been awesome. Straight up. He's got some past the game today, but that's what turn over the season. He has no picks. He has one fumble on the season. The jets could be three and no very easily. Yes. Judges are playing well. Aaron Glenn is in an impediment, but yeah, that you know, things works way better than we think. And I was hard on Frank Reich to begin the year. And it's been way better than it. Geno was the number three quarterback in fantasy today behind Brock Pertey and Sam Darmall in 26 points. Yeah. Kenyans Sedeek might be a thing you guys. Kenyans Sedeek looked really good. Get an incredible touchdown. Yeah. I was super dubious. And Kenyans Sedeek. It all took with sacrificing Mason Taylor into a volcano. And I want to do what you guys do. You know, um, but yeah, no, I dipped him into a pit of fire. Exactly. Put a little, it's like a marshmallow. Get a little, you know, crisp on the outside. He's got a collie mod. Thanks. Another team that's so back, I think the Browns are so back. They're actually playing very well right now. The Browns are kind of back. They're the Browns are two and one. Top of 500. I kind of love Todd Monkin. He's got some fuck you to him. Yeah. Todd Monkins. It got some fuck you to Sean Watson's playing like a real quarterback. First of all, he ran 11 times for 45 yards, 144 yards, whatever. What, you know, he had a huge interception reversed in a penalty that he kind of flopped on. But Watson had two touchdowns. When a Harold Fanon to win the game, like we, you know, actually, Rowan left spinning in it, like throwing right, throwing the end zone, like, kind of looked like the old to Sean Watson. Like as a runner, it was pretty good. Like, shockingly competent overall. And the Browns were the Browns. I mean, the defense, Mason Graham, defensive tackle that again, the Browns moved back and got in the Travis Hunter trade, which again, that it looks worse and worse as time goes on. But Ted Seth had this great stat. The Browns pressure pressure on 30 of 47 Drop X today, 30 of 47. They're like, I mean, the Browns 121 to 18. It's crazy. Let me ask you this. Just consider this for a second. Is what is happening right now? Actually, kind of the worst case scenario for Cleveland. You could argue that. Is it not the most Browns thing of all time that just when everyone's like, we're so fucking done with this guy. You get to Sean Watson, get him out of my face. Oh, it's a great quarterback here in college. Awesome. We'll just suck for one more year. We got good receivers. We got a lot to build on. And then to Sean Watson's going to be kind of decent. And you're going to go six and 11 and have the 11th pick and just ruin everything. It's a good point. The Browns, just looking at the people who were playing in this game for the Browns. Everyone's so young. Quinn Schultz, Yardkins 22, Raheem Sanders is 23, Herod Finn is 22, Casey Concepcion is 22, Denzel Boston's 22, Mesa Grimm's 23, Spencer Fano's 21. And it's like, yeah, they probably should have a quarterback that is young and with them in their cohort. And then, yeah, you're right, to Sean Watson's going to play well enough that imagine if they bring to Sean Watson back, how weird that would be. It kind of sucks that right now, the Browns fans have to be like talking themselves into coming back around to the Sean Watson. Like, that's what they are right now. After the game, to Sean Watson's talking about how he got emotional because he had to leave for a game because he flopped after he threw a pick and then he flopped and got a rough in the passenger penalty that flipped the game that Panthers fans are mad about. But I don't care because there's also crazy face mask on him that they ignored. But then he left and Shadour came in and then he went back in and the fans cheered for the Sean Watson. And he's like, so good. We're all good. Browns fans, email us. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. If you're like screw you, we have two wins. And I'm having a good time and I like watching the Browns win. That's totally fair. But I want to know, I want to know how, how the vibes are in Cleveland. I think it's more important to like change the culture and change the vibes than to figure out the quarterback right now. Emails at rangerfancyfootballgmail.com. I do want to know what Browns fans think. It's weird. It's a weird situation. Real quick question. Good. They deserve that. On the Browns. Do you guys remember Jerry Judy? He's on the Browns. Well, you know, it's funny when Brady was talking about how Jackson Smith and Jake was super power is like keeping his shoulders level. All I could think of is how Jerry Judy is the worst player in the NFL at that. Jerry Judy is still playing for the Browns. I just wanted to make that clear. I hate Jerry Judy as much as there are very few players I hate that have done like, well, I just hate him. I hate Jerry Judy. What did he do today? He had nothing. He sucks. He's like finished dead last. He has 26 yards on the year. I actually hate him. I hate Jerry Judy. It's okay that because no one drafted him, but I just wanted to point out that he's actually still technically. He's 27. Sometimes I think about being wrong in Jerry Judy in the past. And then I remember who else was wrong. John L. Way. Yeah. All right. Let's get serious. So you had 90 catches, 1200 yards. Craig, it's time for America's fifths. segment. Mm-hmm. Far or sharp. DK, let's go to Houston where David Montgomery's absolutely ruining my life and the lives of millions. David Montgomery disguised his mediocrity in week one by scoring three touchdowns and since then he has 60 yards rushing and that's about it. The Texans lost today, 1917. They felt to own three. Today, David Montgomery had 11 rushes for 33 yards and he is irrelevant now, really, in fantasy. So DK, I ask you, David Montgomery, far or sharp. I think it's a sharp because I don't see this offensive line getting any better throughout the year. I totally agree. He's averaging 2.8 yards per carry. He's averaging 35 yards rushing a game. Oh, the other thing that makes it hard too is that Woody Marx is playing quite a lot. So not only does he not picking up any yards and not doing anything of note other than that first game when he scored three touchdowns, he's losing a lot of snaps to Woody Marx and he doesn't have like a goal line role. They're just kind of like rotating drives and it's going to be just really hard to trust him weekend and week out. I think you play him into your lineup. I think you absolutely convinced David Montgomery and I think if you have any options that seem better, they probably are. Again, the Colts had given up 1,000 yards in two weeks which hadn't happened over 10 years and the Texans really struggled to move the ball of them today. I was incredibly disappointed he used it overall today. I think this is sharp too. I agree. All right. Who you got? There's a couple other names here that I would like you I would like you to pick. Let's do it. Let's do a rapid firefarter shard. There's some smell. There's some smelly stitches. We do a lightning round farter shard. Sure. Sure. It's either going to be very quickly farter shard. Okay. Ken McMillan. Two catches 17 yards today. Far. Okay. That's all. He's been good other one in the first two games. This one was just against a really good defense that held them to do nothing. Every running back on the Packers. Shard. Are any of them a fart? No, they're all shards. The Packers run game is a shard. Yeah. The offensive line is not fixable. Giderian price on Seattle. Farter shard. I'm I fear it's a shard. I want to spend it just a little bit of time on this because I think it is important. He's obviously a first Trump pick. We had high expectations for him coming in. He now has lost two fumbles in three games. This was a big issue for him in college. This was one of the reasons he was playing behind Jeremiah Love a lot of time. I'm obviously Jeremiah Love super talented, but he was losing key fumbles in key situations. The COX, by the way, lost one fumble all of last year and I was by George Launey. They did have like three total or something like that from their running backs. And so this is a huge problem. They benched him after he lost his fumble until the second half. And I get, you know, like at the end of the day, he's averaging four points a game. And Zach Sharver is coming back soon. So this is the last. And last but not least, we hit on him before, but Ameri and Hampton for the Chargers. Farter Shart. This one to me is not as egregious, but it's kind of a shart. This is now a full blown running back by committee. Come on. If a doll was in in this game, he's not catching any passes. I think he has like two catches this year. Hampton does. And he doesn't look very good. And the Chargers are a disaster. And the Chargers have an incredibly difficult schedule. So I'm very worried. Oh, that he's great. I'm very worried. A real poo-poo platter across the board today, these names. Okay. We only had one fart. And with four sharts, one fart. Not great. Drake makes probably a fifth shart. Yeah. We'll get a lot of sharts. We'll get to him later in the episode. Intrusive thoughts. Craig, what are your intrusive thoughts today? Look, for as much as I enjoy watching football and they've done a great job figuring most of it out, I do think there is one fatal flaw that pisses me off every time I see it. And it is the underthrown deep ball that inevitably causes a defensive pass interference. I think it's just like a bug in the system. And I hate it. And it happened again today. It happens almost every week. And it's like the corner doesn't know what to do. He's just chasing a receiver who has to slow down because it's a severely underthroened ball. He runs into MPI 40 yards. And I just hate it. I hate watching it. It's kind of like the Joe Facco special. It's kind of like rear-ending a car is always your fault except if the law was to like you were supposed to chase cars or something. It's close to the car as you can. But don't touch it. It's kind of insane. You're like telling it as close as possible. Yeah. And they could slam on the brakes at any time. And if they do, it's your fault. Yeah, it's just it is insane. I just say, I don't know. Really bothers me. I'm like, I wish that, yeah, you're right. They need to figure something out with that. I'm sorry. They'll, if they try, they would just write a rule that would then be like completely spun off into a direction that none of us saw coming and would just ruin the sport for a year. So that would be cool. Decade any intrusive thoughts? I don't know if this is an intrusive thought or just like a real thought. I feel like team should run the hook and ladder like four or five times a game. Why is there not more hook and ladders? Because I've yet to see a hook and ladder fail. It's so true. It's not. That's not true. Obviously. They're prepared. Yeah. I don't know. The 49ers. Debo and Mike Evans. Yeah. The 49ers ran a hook and ladder early in the game. By the way, Debo, this is a weird stat. Debo had 80 yards in a touchdown and he had zero catches, which is like the most yards and a receiver ever without a catch. Yeah. So it's pretty sweet. That's a weird quirk. Roger Sherman had that, by the way. The hook and ladder thing, it is like Kelsey. Just again, the coolest play ever that Kelsey should have beaten the chiefs. The chief should have beaten the bills of that Kelsey hook and ladder play and the cadarious toners all sides. And you guys were like, Oh, I'll take you to the other side of the football. He has one job. But that was so funny to me. But the flip slip, but you're right about the hook and ladder thing, because the other part of this that no one does anymore is that when we were kids, Ray Lewis and Ed Reid would practice. They would do hook and ladders on defense. Like they would ladder all the ball like every we get a pick six. And they would fucking ladder it like ladder to Ray Lewis. And all these other guys and the Ravens defense. And it worked every time. And every time the Ravens got the ball, they scored like half the time they scored a touchdown. And then no defense has ever been authorized by coaching staff to ever do that ever again, even though it worked for the Ravens half the time. Like there's, there's maybe, you know, seven or eight hook and ladders of season. Maybe it's more, maybe it's like 15. But that's, you know, I'm like, there should be, that should be a big part of the game plan, like a screen pass. We're just running a hook and ladder. Yeah. Ben Johnson messed around. He does it quite often. Yeah. Yeah. They're, they're good. Yeah. Ben Johnson will do it to get like eight yards on 36. A lot of people do it on third and long. But I'm like, you just do that on first down. Yeah. I don't know. They can't stop it. Flex category here. The Colston Loveland Cup corner. I would like to announce Jaguars 135 to six. And surely you would check the box score and think, well, Brian Thomas must have had at least 10 receiving yards, right? Nope. One catch for eight yards in the game that Jacksonville won by 29. Was he hurt in this game? Did he get hurt? No, he just sucks. He played 30. I think I saw he played 35 percent of the snaps. He played actually fewer snaps than Josh Cameron. Yeah, Josh Cameron, now score two touchdowns in his short NFL career. He's a rookie from six round rookie. It's, yeah, it's it's pretty much it's over with Brian Johnson. I don't know what's going on there. They should have traded him in the off season. I think Brian Thomas, but Brian Johnson's still going. Brian Johnson's new thing is he's learning. He's going to dunk you guys. Do you see this? Yeah, he was like, I can't live forever. So I might as well just dunk. He's lowering the bar slightly from living forever to dunking. Yeah. Equally impossible for him, but I do it. I love equal success. If you could dunk, I feel like you could die happy. Man realizes he'd rather dunk than live forever. I can't believe it took him 50 years to realize that shit. Okay, best quote of the day. Craig did Brady say anything weird? Brady in a very self-aware manner said miss pistol instead of piss missile because piss missiles are appropriate to say on a broadcast. So he after a great throw by Josh Allen. Maybe it's not like illegal, but perhaps from the coming. I don't know. Yeah, said miss pistol. And I he actually like handled it in a way that wasn't annoying. And I cause it. Okay. Do you think he realized that he's still saying piss? It like you say it can't say piss because piss missile. So you say miss pistol like he's still saying piss. Yeah, but he's not saying he's not saying piss. He's saying pistol, which is a fake word. I don't know. It's piss is right there, which is a fake word. Yeah, but you know, some some words. The first half of the word is a bad word, but if you pair it with the second half of the word, it's no longer a bad word. Grats. I just mean I've got you on with my miss pistol. Yeah. That's how bored Brady was watching Justin Herbert. He's like, I'm going to say miss pistol. I got to bring a celebration of the weekend. I got to go. Ed and Phil was fine. They took Jamar Chase's, you know, fake people elbow thing out. We have to talk about the Texas game. Colin Simmons is this great pastor for Texas did a sack celebration over the weekend. Did you guys see this? Yeah, yes, I did. It's actually the wildest one I've ever seen. Speaking of a piss missile, he pretended to take He took, he's sacked the quarterback, pretended to take his dick out and piss on the quarterback. And then he raised his hands when he got a flag. Like he's like, whoa, what did I do? What did I do? I, I, I, I, DK Metcalfe level play right there. We should, we were joking. We should rebrand, we should rebrand this. We should really know he's watering the garden. I mean, whipping your dick out and he literally mined unzipping, grabbing his dick, holding with two hands and pissing everywhere. Isn't there, aren't these, aren't some guys now doing it where they score and they, they like, mine, like, hitting it from the back. Isn't that a celebration right now too? And even that is more subtle than subtle than taking your dick out and then holding it while you piss on the guy's prone, driving dead body. I love this, like, the, like, underground, like, like, group of people that are of these players, like, figuring out ways to have inappropriate celebrations to get back at the leagues. I think it's so, it's like seeing what they can get away with. There's like a later system. Later in the Texas game, the running back did what I believe is Gucci swiping himself, like, like, grabbing his balls, smelling it and passing out onto the ground. Did you see that one? No. Yeah, he, like, grabbed his balls. What? And then he smelled the celebration. And then he, like, fell backward onto the ground, which I assume everyone says on the team says his balls smell. I, I don't know. Mary Catherine Gallagher. That's all. I have no idea what's happening in the Texas locker room. Being a college coach must be so fun. Even T Higgins, like, hearing T Higgins explain the people's elbow as if they're not, like, just trying to drop dick with that arm. And I'm like, man, these guys are just 22 and you're trying to do all the scheming and all the stuff and the guys who just, like, man, I got an idea. I'm going to take my dick out piss. Yeah. I'm going to unzip my pants. What am I going to do if I score or do something cool? Like, what is my move? Like a game plan. Like, I was trying to get in the end zone. So I get pissed off. This is like, we're wondering what Jeremiah loved. Didn't even know who Jared Goff was. Yeah. Did you? I think Jeremiah loved to, did they hit it from the back when he scored today? Dude, I, I, you know, it's funny because what it really comes down to, I swear to God, is what the NFL owners get mad about. Like, the peace sign entirely killed. That became the thing because the giants owner, John Merrow, was mad that he did that. And so they added it. But I, I do think none of these men are going to figure out what any of these things mean. Yeah. All right. Worst coach decision of the day. Tamika Rines pulled an air in Glen. Uh oh. And Tamika Rines didn't get any shit for it because Tamika Rines is really hot and nobody wants to make fun of them. But I, I just don't understand why these defensive coordinators cannot manage the clock as if they cannot tell what's what happened. The Texans, so well, glad you asked. Okay. Okay. But demanded really. I didn't even ask. Colts of the ball at midfield. There's over a minute left. And the clock's running down. And Tamika Rines waits 36 seconds to call time out. Literally burns 36 seconds. And then the Colts end up kicking a field goal to go up two points. So now the Texans get the ball back with down two points. And the Texans have 16 seconds. And if their head coach had just called a time out earlier, the Texans would have had like 51 seconds. And instead of 51 seconds, they had 15. So you don't happen. The Texans lost because they had to throw a fucking Hail Mary. The Texans have Cayenne Fairbaren, who is their kicker, who can make a kick from the 50 yard line. All they would had to do is get 51 seconds to get to the 50 yard line. And instead, they had 15 seconds. And they couldn't even get to their own 50 because their coach didn't realize they would need 36 seconds left or decided they wouldn't. And it's one of those things where you're kind of like, what do these people do all week? They're just game planning. And they don't even like, I truly don't understand how there is a scenario where the clock is ticking. And they could not be like, Hey, Tamika, we need to call a time out right now. Or he's just like, Oh, great. I don't get it. But these defensive coordinators have defensive coordinator brain where they just want their defense to win the game. And maybe he's thinking, we'll just get a sack and they won't be able to kick field goal at all. But I just, it is unbelievable how little thoughts some of these teams spend on clock management at the end. It is crazy that like once a week, there is an egregious coaching and mismanagement. Yeah. Yeah. I just, I don't know. I wish I had something more eloquent to say than it's sometimes they're football. It's so much more complicated. And they put more thought into it that you could ever think about things like, like, how to stop a run? Like how which defenders go to which place in a run? There are four hour arguments coaches could have about this. And then it's like, should we call a time out with a minute left? And they're like, who who knows? It's like how the CIA can't get enough staplers in the building. I just, you know, it's the duality of men. Also, Hi Fitz, we have a crossover of the century because we, you know, we have the coast and leveling cut corner. But then we also have the two tied into outscored Kyle pits. And they're kind of merged this week because the Falcons scored 35 points and beat the Packers on Thursday night football. And the Falcons have like 500 yards of offense. Surely Kyle Pits had a lot of yards. Surely Kyle Pits did anything. And you'd be wrong because he had one catch for five yards. And then surely Kyle Pits had more than one point. No. Oh, wait, Michael Pentax is back in the score 35 points. Surely he's worth having on my team this year. You're wrong. Yeah, it was hard to even get two tied into outscore. Kyle Pits in a lie because Kyle Pits was the 50th ranked tight end this week. This 32 teams. Kyle Pits on season has 20 yards and two catches. Two tied into outscore. Kyle Pits in a lie. Josh Kwevas, Elijah Higgins and Drew Sample. Josh Kwevas. Is he real? He's like third third tight end on Baltimore. You see a grip on SNL? Who knows? Elijah Higgins is on the- I know Elijah Higgins. Who's the other guy? Drew Sample. On the Bengals. Oh, Drew Sample. Sure. I guess I'll take Kwevas so I didn't know existed. No, he outscored Kyle Pits. He did. What a that's just so funny. It's just too good to be true. Kyle Pits on the season is I actually had to double check this because I was like I actually didn't know if this could like literally be true because it sounds impossible. But Kyle Pits on the season is the 60th ranked tight end. Kyle Pits is three points in the entire year. Is he the most annoying player of all time? I think yeah. Dude, this dude is pretty good. Because he somehow convinced us to be like interested in him for like years and years and years now. It seems like decades. Kyle Pits almost had a thousand yards receiving. He had 88 catches last year. The best take I had that I abandoned was I had a tattoo last year that said don't rank Kyle Pits. Do not put him in the top 200 and that turned out to be the best fantasy advice we could have given the shares. Don't even fuck a rank the guy. What what's this deadline? How many catches on the entire season? He has three games. Two catches for 20 yards and three games in three games. Do you know how many he was drafted before Jamar Chase? Yes. That is literally a fact. I mean and look I loved him and I just it's just so frustrating. He's the most annoying player in all of football. So maybe ever he can't really would you say he's good? No. What? I don't know. No. He looks real. He looked better last year. He looked pretty good. Three good games. No, this is the problem with the averages. He had three good games and one really really really good game against the bucks. Four million dollar deal this summer. Well they're fucking stupid. They shouldn't have done that. That's crazy. Thirty six million guaranteed. So this is a really big week for the burnbook. So the burnbook last two weeks we burned AJ brand week one. There's never been a year. This is the easiest one of the season. There's there's a there's a lot of competition. Kyle Pits one catch for five yards. Brian Thomas had one catch for eight yards. Brian Thomas is the book is named after Kyle Pits. Kyle Pits is not on any on any starting rosters. Neither is Brian Thomas. So you want to burn who I'm thinking of? We're burning Drake May. Yeah. Yeah. We're obviously burning the guy who almost won the MVP last year who was averaging four points a game in fantasy. Is that bad? I can't talk. I can't say anything right now because I literally just said he was a by-law, but it just it was a by-law because it's never been lower. It's free. He's an even by-lawer now. If you believe in Drake May, like wholeheartedly, then he can't be in the burnbook. A burnbook is strange to us. Don't believe in him wholeheartedly anymore. I did coming into this game. This was a tough one. It's hard to come back from that. The fact like what I've said, I think you said he's broken. Like I had that couple of times today. I was like, oh, he's actually really not good anymore. Like his shoulder might just be worse than we thought the whole time, the whole year. Yeah, I mean, if he's hurt, that would be the good example. But I think Drake May is the story of the season in terms of like you can talk about all of the Josh Allen and Brock Purdy or Jackson, but like the negative story of the season is Drake May in fantasy. Bar none, I think. Probably true. And again, they were in the Super Bowl. The problem with Drake May is that if you're a Patriots fan, you now hope it's a physical issue because if there's nothing physically wrong with the shoulder, then he has mentally regressed to the point where there is like a huge problem with his development, or that he was never actually that good. good as it seemed in last year was kind of an illusion and a lot of really lock a huge luck on deep passes. It's put it's it's it's it's really like you almost hope that something is wrong with the shoulder because at least that could heal. Drake May has one passing touchdown this year. He has one. I mean, he has, I mean, dude, I he has six interceptions. He has seven turnovers in one touchdown. Travis Hunters caught more passes from Drake May the Trevor Lawrence. Dude, on passes over 20 yards down field, Drake May's got one, one completion and three interceptions. Oh, wait, no, that's just in Herbert. Sorry. Oh, honestly, Drake made our big, our big talented boys are not doing well right now. All right. Blockheads. Drake may have 3.7 points today. 3.7. I know I don't use it. All right. We'll burn 3.7 today. All right. We'll burn Drake. But Drake May you're in the burn book. Two Patriots. Bummer. Two Patriots. Oh, God, two out of three. Well, fits. All right. Thank you, DK. Thank you, Craig. Thank you, Cam. Thank you to kill. Thank you, Austin. Thank you for listening. E-mail us for your fantasy football gmail.com Browns fans. We don't know how you feel. I don't know how people know that. I guess it came out. I wish I wish we didn't get sued by playing music because it would be so awesome if every every outro of this could just be the song. God, can you imagine if Wang Chong was taking us out someday Craig. Someday. Get in touch with us. Mariah, etc. Yeah, we just have to develop personal relationships with every band on earth. Yes. So that they would allow us to listen to music for free. They want to have us do that. It becomes undeniable as a marketing opportunity for them. That's the goal. Wang Chong.
