The winds were getting in on that same Houston plus 14 app state plus seven and a half. IFIU minus 10, Maryland minus 12 and a half, the losses, Iowa minus 13 and a half, Minnesota in the first half plus a half a point, Washington state plus 18, Arizona state plus 14 and a half and Washington minus 26 and a half. Yeah, so Iowa's bad, Minnesota was bad, Wazoo bad, they couldn't score. I thought they could like hold Candaceate down a little bit and they just they couldn't move the ball. I would bet Arizona state again after actually watching how that played out live. And Washington, man, they, I mean, we talked yesterday on CBS Sports Network, they, they may have some serious problems that, that team looks terrible. Uh, FIU, I mean, I, I loved that one for sure. And uh, maybe I'm liking this three star locks thing. I don't know. I, it doesn't feel right to have like a quote unquote winning week off four and five. Uh, but I guess we're all playing with the same rules. Yes. And it's, it's a competition. We add new layers every week, uh, 12 and eight for the season for Mr. Elliot. Uh, four and four a week for me, Iowa minus 13 and a half is a loss. Texas minus one is a push. Iowa state third quarter is a winner. So is that Missouri, Kansas over 50 and a half took an L on the Michigan first half team total under nine and a half, rice plus 44 and a half never really stood a chance to fly. Arizona team total over 17 and a half. I liked that, uh, I'm gonna have to go Bobby Jones in 1925, US Open here, guys. That Ole Miss is not a winner. Hmm. What? 27 points scored in the first half for the Rebels. Wow. So what a man. It's been some shady accounting here this week. I am. A correction already. Sorry. Yeah. Right. It's all right. I mean, so listen. And I'm, I'm just telling, I'm, I'm coming forth with this, right? You know? This is trust me. This. This. Well, go ahead, Danny. If that was me, I'd be more Patrick Reed. I'm just telling you right now. The way the season has unfolded, I'm definitely going more. I'm trying to hack in there to change some of these numbers. Oh, and then Memphis team total over 22 and a half, heartbreaking there. They had 20 points at halftime, second half, shut out for the Boise State Broncos at home. So yeah, that will drop me to much less than where it's at right now, which is already near, near the back of the pack. That's a three star lock that needs to be adjusted. Okay. DK. It is you with us with Iowa, but hey, let's talk about the winners. Let's talk about that Kansas and the first half. You don't walk into Booth Memorial Stadium, Ohio State, Texas, under also a winner, Michigan plus five and a half, also a winner. The first half under also a winner, a little two for one special out there in that Oklahoma Michigan game. And then Georgia Southern plus 20 and a half against the Clint St. Tigers losses would be the Iowa on the infinity Arizona state that was an agreement with Bud. Arizona plus seven and a half, George Tech plus 12 and a half and then Kentucky plus 10 and a half thoughts notes takes away take a solid week. The only thing I would go back and I saw somebody put in the chat earlier. I can't wait to hear a whole bunch of first half bets. A lot of these bets I really liked were winners at halftime. Arizona State looked great against Texas A&M, Kentucky looked great against Alabama. You just until it didn't Arizona was in it with BYU until they weren't I. Just, you know, got to close it out for 60 minutes couldn't do it. So not I don't think they were horrible plays just a little bit off. Yeah, listen, but the Penn State one's the one that pisses me off, though. That was my three star lock and they were up by 24 and needed a goal line stand and you can't finish it out and temple gets a cheapy at the end. That's the one that pisses me off. Sorry, Danny. Striker coming in with that one. We'll air strike there from producer Ryan striker five and six for the week 10 and 12 for the season. Tom, I mean, six and four just just stacking good days here stacking good days, stacking good weeks. The winners included a lock fight win of Ohio State against, oh, yeah, I guess we won push interesting there. Kansas State lock fight win against Bud for Missouri. And then also you get in on the under in Oklahoma, Michigan, the team total over for Notre Dame, the Duke Illinois over the Purdue plus three and a half that game decided on a two pointer and overtime took a loss on the infinity on the Auburn team total on the Memphis Boise under and on the wafford plus 13 and a half against Kent State thoughts takeaways on the week. Choked job by wafford, just completely blew it late. I, I've been hoisted by my own petard, the three star lock was my favorite, it was my idea and I'm now o and two and even though I'm 15 and seven on the season, I haven't gotten a three star lock. Correct yet. So I'm only up three point three units on the year. So I'm feeling pretty dumb for that one. But as far as my plays go last week, nothing, I really totally regret just sometimes it doesn't happen for you. Yeah, I mean, I don't think we've ever been 54% for the show this deep into the season and the three star locks are not treating us well. It's an anchor, but it is an anchor on our, on our units, but like Wilson, like you said, but if we do not typically endorse this type, but we are engaging in a competition for entertainment purposes. So we would not endorse you getting the three star hammer out and throwing it, you know, just, you know, keep it, keep it even and you'll be like, Tom, be sitting there 15 and seven. Okay. Get that out of here. Let's get weak two behind us because week three is ahead. So I ask you, gentlemen, y'all ready to lock it up? Yes, sir. Since 2005, the under and games between service factors is 40, nine and one. Give me an over and this one as well, little two for one special I was sicker last week. Y'all were watching the good games. I was live better than hell at a UL and fucking my blue plate special five star locks are coming. Five star master lock lock it I'm living and dying at every point, every couple. From the locking chair to your eyes and ears getting started with the weeknight action here on a Thursday night. We got some old big east heritage here Thursday night ESPN. You'll find Syracuse and pit. This is the kind of match up. This is the kind of stage that gave us the glory. There was a six interception game for Kyle McCord, y'all know and Fran Brown just left him out there to sit in it. Didn't even pinch him just kept going pick after pick after pick after pick who knows what could happen. Spreads around 10 and a half over under is around 51 and a half. Everybody got lock anybody got a lean for the live live viewers here. If it was under 10, I'd probably be on bit, but with it sitting at 10 and a half, I really don't know. Yeah. Yeah. And a lot to ask coming out of that one. Also the for those of you who are trying to go under the hood, the pit's incredible defensive numbers and a win against UCF might have been aided a bit. So make sure to make those adjustments as necessary. All right. Then we go on to Friday where the rock stars that are the Miami hurricanes are going to be heading down to Winston Salem. They're going to eat it putters and they're going to go over to Wake Forest where they'll find themselves as a 21 point favorite game that we've discussed a lot. Know that Houston, Texas. Tech game and op. I guess if you want to get on Oregon and Portland state, that's there for you as well. Any Friday night locks from the group. All right, let's go what we got. We got my first weeknight play of the year on the lockspot is Houston plus eight and a half. There you go. I just I have we've talked about it pretty much all, you know, all the last couple of weeks. None of us seem to be all that impressed by what we have seen from Texas tech. These teams have played very similar schedules, including a common opponent between them. And yeah, Houston played Oregon state at home. So that does have to matter. It's just they looked far more competent against Oregon state. Then I thought Texas tech did last week. There's some questions about the quarterback situation with the red raiders and growing packages and what not going forward of who's going to be taking more snaps and stuff. I just defensively, I think the red raiders have dropped a little bit offensively. I don't think there is clean and efficient as they were last year. And I think Houston's a team that has looked pretty damn good through its first two games. I think this is also as I mentioned on the show or during the big game breakdown. Like Texas tech's not used to playing in these close games. Like the coaching staff hasn't really had to coach in these kind of games over the last year. And the one time that they did, they lost. So give me Houston. Give me the team that's used to these environments and used to these spots right now. Let the children sing. That is cool. Damn it. Come on. Now, everything you said I agree with. I am going to go also a little two for one special since it worked last week. Why not go to the well? Give me under 51 and a half. Now both of these defenses got torched by Braden Atkinson through the air. Braden Atkinson might be the best quarterback of all the quarterbacks that we've seen. Like whether it's Conor Wegman or Tommy Castellanos or Will Hammond. Braden Atkinson might be the better option throwing the football. I think the defense has calmed down a little or calmed down a little bit and actually have more success. Very curious to see what Houston does offensively versus text tech defense, which hasn't been as dominant before. Only thing that scares me a little bit is the fact that when they did use Castellanos in the red zone, they were five for five last week. Still think this is going to be a bump up in Houston's defense. I think they're both going to play well defensively. I think it's a one possession game, low scoring. Give me that under. That's caught back. We've seen among these teams in their opponents. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Would you take Keishan in terms of the mystery box of what he could be? Yeah. For upside. Yeah. Like you have to build the program around him for sure. Yeah. For sure. Yeah. Anybody else with anything on Thursday or Friday? No, I mean, I am interested to see like, how does Miami secondary look without these defensive backs, I guess, but you know, not like, wait. Hey, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, Geo Lopez and the quarterback to test, test the past defense. Yeah. Wait, we needed overtime to be Purdue. You know, oh, that's a, that was a fair fight. I think Purdue. Right. Right. Yeah. That's a commentary and wake as well. Yeah. Um, I, my lane would be Miami. They feel like they're on a mission. They feel like they're dialed. You know, I just, I don't know about the second half. You know, my lane would be Miami. If Miami does not cover this spread, my thought is it is a Miami situation that they came on a Friday night after feeling really good about themselves and just didn't, didn't bring what they need. I think they're a different makeup this year. I think they kind of are attuned in to what they want to do. There's an intensity there that I don't think you have to worry about. So what we'll see. It's, I mean, though, I've, I've gamed out the Miami and Notre Dame, just both bludgeoned everyone until they meet and then it gets what gets one of those game of the century type, uh, hypes to it where we feel like we finally get to see them both tested, but don't know need for my fan fiction. This is time for locks. Okay. Let's go. Anything else for Thursday, Friday. Coming up on the other side, we turned the page to Saturday, starting with the biggest game of the day, including our reaction to whether this injury reports real or not and more. Next. Back here on the cover three podcast as we turn our attention for the week three locks to the game in Oxford, Mississippi, LSU comes to town for a top 10 matchup against Pete Golding's Ole Miss Rebels. Before we get into the locks for this breaking news late on Wednesday night from the SEC's official availability report, quarterback Sam Levit has been listed as doubtful. Tom Frennelly, you are on CBS Sports HQ called into action and like the hero that you are, uh, you responded first and you got there to be able to let the people know who's who and what's what. So do you detect gamesmanship or do you think there might be a real concern in terms of what we're expecting to get from the quarterback play from the Tigers? My initial reaction is it's BS. Yeah, I don't buy it. I mean, this is, you know, it's it's lane. There's been a whole lot of stuff going on this week with, you know, old miss serving the papers to Prince Will Manmelon. I can never say you man me Ellen. You man me Ellen. Yeah. You know, outside the practice facility on Tuesday. And then this happens on Wednesday where the injury report comes out. And also, I don't know if you saw but like LSU wide receiver coach George McDonald tweeted a photo of him next to like Sam in a hospital bed immediately after the report came out where he's like, we're all praying for you to pull through Sam. So I mean, it's, it seems pretty obvious to me like they're messing around with it. But at the same time, Sam Levitt doesn't exactly have a short injury history. It's not entirely out of question that he heard himself in practice. But from all the reports like you read the stuff from LSU beat reporters and around the team, nobody had any whiff of this until the injury report came out on Wednesday night. And typically you would think that somebody had heard something beforehand. If this was an actual injury that he suffered in practice during the game on Saturday. So, you know, I don't really, I don't really buy it. But we'll see. I will say, I mean, how much are they paying Levitt? A lot. Like because close to five, right? So like, because when the news came out and the line originally moved from three to one and a half, five million for one and a half point quarterback, huh? I was kind of looking forward to the landing Clark. I mean, how do we know landing Clark is in the next round of that. Shameless shout out to Elon Phoenix, where he came from. Where I got to know he developed him. He did come in there. I totally agree with you guy. I mean, I don't think anybody's going to sit up here and say they don't think Sam Levitt is playing. I think this is mind games. I don't love it. I wonder what Greg Sanky thinks of this because this whole thing was implemented to have transparency and try to give the sports books a little bit more, you know, information so that there weren't nefarious. And you didn't lie about injuries. This is straight out of the page of Bill Bell check, though, who used to have Tom Brady. He didn't want to do injury reports. So he just put Tom Brady on every single one. And he had his knee injury all the time on there. But this one does feel like it is in response to the Prince. Well, you like getting his served his papers. I think it's like a revenge thing for Lane. Yeah. I mean, what's the fine here? $25,000. You know, and Mighty Ducks went when he's escorting the guy to the penalty box. It's like two minutes well worth it, right? Like, you know, would you pay $25 to get a good dig? I will say this. I do think Lane has the Lane's programs have traditionally played a little loose with the injury report. They don't usually do so with the doubtful tag. I went back and looked like the guys that I actually expected to play for Ole Miss over the last two years who were listed as doubtful. 13 of the 14, like in my opinion, that I actually that would play, you know, like starters, guys that count on 13 of the 14 who were listed as doubtful actually didn't play. So now the one who did was upgraded to probable and then playing that was Watkins who actually was their leading receiver in their upset of Georgia in 2024. So, you know, was that gamesmanship or was that, you know, a miracle in Oxford that he was able to play after being doubtful and play super well during the game? I don't know. I would expect him to play, but I don't know that, right? So there's some uncertainty, you know, I guess we'll see. Well, here's the problem is the Lane who cried wolf when you put 35 players on an in court last year and you're not taking this seriously. So according to our own Matt Zenitz, dealing with an upper body issue and did not throw in practice. What if he really is dealing with an upper body issue? Yeah, I saw arm soreness reported this morning. That's exactly the type of thing that can get better by game day. Right. Right. Right. Especially if you do take a practice off, you know, look at that. Hey, man, needed it. But I would just say like, first of all, I got to correct it. The tailgate is told me that George McDonald said, I got sent out. I got sent out. My bad, y'all. I was kind of busy last night having to run to HQ to do it while chip was probably ignoring all the texts he was getting from HQ producers. So it was Danny, I'm sure. But like part of it too, and like you can do this on your injury report because yeah, you can get fined, but they also have to prove you did it. And how do you prove that, you know, Sam Levin wasn't hurt earlier this week. But I will say, if your arm or shoulder is sore enough on Wednesday to be listed as doubtful and then it's fine by Saturday, then your arm was never really. You just had general soreness. That's it. Like to pretend you were ever doubtful is still manipulating the injury report. There's no shoulder injury that's going to heal in three days. We had a disciplinarian. issue over here Tom. We were massaging, you know, like not literally massage. We were just, we were trying to, we were trying to impart lessons to the youth. Okay. It was, it was a rough bedtime. Okay. I wasn't looking at my phone for about 30 minutes there. Like, tell the truth. Huh? Tell the truth. Well, why do you think I've got, like, you could have incorporated the, the right, the LSU report. Why? Why? Why do you think I've got boy who cried wolf on the top of my heart? Because we've been talking about it, right? Yeah. I got it. I got to be honest with you, chip. I believe your story as much as I believe that injury report. I think you were just sitting there chilling watching TV looking at that phone. Like, nah, putting it down. That's not true. All right. Now let's get to the locks. That's what the people are here for though. It does seem as though everyone's got an opinion on the, the latest gamesmanship and what has been an absolute reality television saga, you know, ever since he left. Um, who's got a lot? I'll take one. All right. Yeah. Danny, I'll take one. I mean, guys were all scared. That's why my record sucks. I ain't afraid to take a swing at this baby. Uh, I, I'm going to go with Ole Miss catching the points at home. I think home field is going to matter. I think the edge at quarterback is very clearly turning that chambles. I think you already kind of had a warm up game for this style of quarterback and it didn't go great against Louisville, right? They gave up a lot of points against Louisville in that opener. But I also think if this, and I do think this is going to be higher scoring. I know there's some thoughts that there's going to be some defense and the defense will show up. Maybe they'll be able to shut down the opposing team, but especially LSU. But man, there is no defense for a mobile quarterback who can extend plays and make the plays that turn it at can. Um, I trust them. I trust, turn that chambles way more than I trust Sam Levitt. So I'm going to take Ole Miss and the points. In, in my six-pack column, I have to pick this game. I did take Ole Miss plus three. Now that it's at two and a half, I'm not going to lock it up. I don't not like the play, but that three is kind of important to me. So, and also again, we don't know what Sam Levitt's situation is. Like, what if he doesn't play? You're two and a half is going to look pretty great, but if he does, yeah. Right. What if it's a, what if it's a head injury and we're monitoring symptoms? You know, like that's something that's very nebulous as well. Who knows? I don't know. I'm, I'm a, I am so excited for your fearlessness, Danny. Just jump in there, right? You know, just get it, just get it. I hope you're rewarded for it. No lock for me. Shoot or shoot. Yeah. We do, of course. Oh, okay. I mean, if ever there were going to be a game. All right. I'm headed to Oxford to see this circus in person, but I have two major concerns in this game. The Ole Miss secondary has had an absurd number of coverage breakdowns in the first two games. And Ole Miss has not really run the ball effectively yet either. Lacey needs to stay healthy because the other running backs will have a tough time against this LSU defense. I haven't yet decided if I'm going to emotional hedge this game. So I'm going to look for a total for my pick. Is that a lack of confidence or emotional man? Come on, buddy. All right. The secondary play for Ole Miss and the ability of Trinidad to make plays has me leaning towards more points for both offenses in this game. Give me the over 57 and a half. I'll get him 57. There you go. The root canal bowl. I think I think that this game will be more enjoyable than a root canal for the record. Yes. That's my official bet here. Okay. Anything else, LSU Ole Miss, feel free. I mean, it's such a big game that if you've got any, you know, any hunches and anything player related, anything for the people as this will be next time that we're with them, we'll be breaking this thing down right after it goes final for the instant reaction. Do you want to call your shot on anything? Yeah. I do think the speed of LSU's back end plays really well in this game. And I think they're going to force Ole Miss to see if they can run the ball effectively and run those guys down and limit the explosives in the run game, especially if Lacey's out. So how much is Baker actually going to blitz? Normally, he's a guy who does like to bring it a little bit. I wonder if they don't play a little bit more conservatively. I played some under in this earlier in a week. If it didn't hide in a half, 60, 57 and a half, I think is kind of fair, I guess. And then who emerges as a number one for LSU at receiver? Like in critical moments, which they have not faced in critical moments yet this year, really, do they have a guy that levied or landing Clark really want to go to? You know, my kind of thought is like, that's probably Jackson Harris because he's the most proven, but, you know, LSU might just have a lot of twos on their team. Maybe that guy is traded as green. I can't lean LSU, but it's hard to bet against Trenadad, man. Ole Miss played pretty sloppy in that game. I mean, Lovla had some really foolish penalties, but ultimately that was Trenadad just sniping those dudes. Yeah, if LSU can't run the ball effectively on early downs and Sam Levitt is having to go out there and be a magic man and third and long. I don't think that's a good recipe on the road, even if Ole Miss has some defensive deficiencies along the way. Yeah, I think LSU has a QB advantage in almost every SE game they play, but not this one. I do think this is a game too. If Trenad-chamblis does play well, he could vault right to the top of the Heisman charts too. No doubt. All the eyeballs watching, and even if he just plays like you did against Louisville, I think he could make a big move. That's another CBS Sports HQ banger from Danny Kennell right there. Yeah. A little Heisman watch. All right. Let's keep it going. 3 30 PM Eastern time Louisville, Kentucky SMU comes to town. We mentioned it in big game breakdown. The Mustangs have gotten the last two off of Jeff Brahms cards. Last year, a little bit of an asterisk. I do feel I should mention, given all the injuries for Louisville, but 0 and 2 is 0 and 2. We're looking at a tight game, massive implications. Who's got a lock? I'm gonna lay it with cards. All right. I think they're a little more physical, and I do think that Brahms found something with the mobility of Lincoln. Like, I think that is an unlock. He had to kind of embrace it in the second half of that game. I think they're a little more balanced on offense, whereas SMU's run game has not been great. I think Genics is a good quarterback, but also, man, there were some easy ones there in Tallahassee. That's really the only game we've seen in play. I like that. Definitely agree. I am a little bit worried about what Lamar Keenholds could do to this particular lock that I've got, but the way that I see this one playing out, it might take a little while to warm up. That's why my lock is going to be first half under 30 and a half. I get because of what you could happen in the explosiveness, the way that this could finish, but I took a little gander. SMU, last 12 games against FBS opponents, not a single first half with more than 30 and a half points. If you go back and look at the last recent games against power conference opponents for Louisville, first halves are not the higher scoring halves. That is another sort of just slow to warm type approach. A Boston college game, early last season is the last time. I only looked at these last two seasons because of the clock rules and the clock changes. With the clock rules and the clock changes as they are, both of these teams have been under this number early in games and given the stakes, I might think we could have some prize fight early round kind of feel to the way that these two teams and these two really, really good head coaches are feeling each other out. 30 and a half is a big first half number. I get why it's happening tagging off the full game total, but I think it's too high for the first 30 minutes. So Louisville SMU first half under 30 and a half. You know what, Chip, I plan on watching all four quarters of this game. So that's why I'm taking the full game under 59 and a half. I'm going to watch all four quarters too, but I don't know. It sounds like you're planning on checking out at halftime. That's the vibe I'm getting. A lot of the same things. I believe we're going to see both. We're going to see Louisville lean more into the run game, I think, with as bud mentioned, with Kindle's way that they've been doing that. I think that's going to keep the clock running. I believe that as you mentioned at the very top chip, it's a tight game. It's a big game. And we have seen in spots like this in the last couple of years, especially with these new clock rules, teams tend to get far more conservative in their approach. And as far as their tempo and just everything that they do in these spots, when they realize how important that these games are, and I think we're going to see that play. Now, I also understand that it could go the same way that old Miss Louisville did in the second half. It just becomes a NASCAR race to see who can score as many 50 yard touchdowns as possible. But I do like the under 59 and a half years. So that's where I'm going. DK abstain. No, I mean, I, yes, I'm going to abstain because I don't want my stink to get on bud. Because I do like play. You'll put it on me, but you don't want to put it on bud. Now I already have two. I have more picks. So I can use some restraint here. I'll just tell it off, but I do like Louisville at home. All right. I'm just a little loose with the football. He's great. A little bit too much turnover, prom. Very awesome. Fun game. Can't wait to break it down with you all on Saturday night. Florida State at Alabama. My excitement for this one to break down on Saturday night might hang in the balance. Okay. I still need a lot of questions to be answered before I'm going to be buzzing to break down how this goes. But maybe you've got a good beat on this. Maybe you've got a look. Maybe you've got a lock Alabama FSU. Anybody want to put something on the on the lock stock? Nothing. Um, last week, we have Michigan against Oklahoma and everybody, you know, was on Oklahoma, they should just waltz in there. Michigan has looked awful and my thought process with that game was, it's never that easy, you know, so you gotta like fade that action and come and take Michigan. It feels kind of the same with Florida state against Bama. Like it doesn't feel like it's not that easy. It shouldn't be Alabama gets revenge. They waltz out there and they should blow them out, but it's just not that easy. Fortunately, sometimes I think it might be that easy. I do not want to lock it up, but I do think Alabama rolls. I am try, I've tried to look at this every way and say, how could Florida state go out there and keep this competitive? Maybe Keelan Russell throws a couple first half interceptions like he did against Kentucky, but I don't see many positions if any at all where Florida state has an advantage. I haven't seen much to give you much hope. I mean, I would be shocked if this game is a fourth quarter game. I just would. I hope I'm wrong. I would love to see it. Take the money you would have bet on Florida state and donate it to the buyout fund. That's right, Danny. That's great. And by the way, the moving truck apparently was delivering a desk. What is your read on Ole Miss LSU? So you know what I love about this game and this is my favorite fact of this weekend. The last time the road team won a game in this series was the 2019 championship team from LSU. Every home team has won this game in this decade, including the COVID year. So, even with all of this on top of it, I think you're going to see the home field play advantage again and also probably the biggest thing that's overlooked in this. I'm not going to say the name of the magazine companies I don't want to get in trouble, but the article that came out that really hurt the people of Oxford. Oxford is a wonderful place. We are good people and to the student section, I implore you this weekend. Please, please, please, keep that good vibe going. With that said, with this game, I think it is imperative to get started quickly. My fear is if LSU takes the ball first after watching Kiffin for five years tried to throw that thing down the field. I want to turn it at a hot. I want him early. I want Kiwan in there. I want Duce down the field whoever Ole Miss has to start quick. That is how Ole Miss wins this, but you said it earlier this week. The second area is a huge concern. Looks like we're getting some guys back, so I'm happy about that. With that said, you know I got to lock it up for my boys. I got the Ole Miss plus two and a half, hotty-totty, let's go, Reps. Let's go. Love it. Can I piggyback on that, Michael, because the other day we had Brian Kelly, it was talking to him. He was on my radio show and he had some advanced numbers and scouting stuff that it was on Lane Kiffin specifically. He said if they score the first drive, in that case for a lot of football teams, but specifically for Lane Kiffin coach teams, if his team score first dramatically improves and that other first down success rate was another huge impact to watch out for. If they succeed on first down, it drastically improves their chances to score on that drive, so something to keep an eye out for the game. We were joking with him saying, "Well, does that mean if Lane doesn't score on the first possession?" Like lay the house on Ole Miss. Ole Miss flies. Go the other way. But I was interesting. There was a lot of stats behind it and that success they had in the first drive of the game. If you've been pretty happy with what you've seen from Ole Miss through two games? I mean, I. I was at the Louisville game here in Nashville because I lived down here as well. You know, you can't really take too much from game one. You guys know that, but it was a top 25 team, which I'll have more on Louisville later. But yeah, I think I like what I see. The one thing I will say, another thing that's also being kind of under looked on the Ole Miss side, there's no stripling this year, and you need that go-to guy that can just go get that ball. I mean, he was that close to taking us to the national title last year. So, you know, darn flag, but big two in reps. You know, I got to say something, but I think it was the rest, whatever. But yeah, I do. I want to see Caleb Cunningham get out there. You know, he was the big five-star, well, dropped to four at the end, but big five-star that was the prize of that class. It's one of the biggest games of the season for Shane Beamer. I'm torn because I don't want to fight our guests, but I also could guarantee him a win. If I went the other way, the only thing I will say is like Mississippi State feels very trendy right now and they're for a good reason. Like what they did in Minnesota was awesome. Dylan Stewart coming back. I think that could provide some challenges for Camario Taylor, but I'm gonna sit back and root for your pick to win. Yeah, let's root for Michael. He's got us there. All right, where would you like to go next, Michael? So next, I do so probably the most fun game of the weekend outside of old Miss LSU. Florida Auburn and also sorry to my buddy Taylor who's watching live right now and one of the guys I got onto the show. Auburn on the plane is always a challenge when you have the right coach, which I think they do now. I think Auburn is finally going the right direction, you know, if they can just have everybody over there pull back and just let things happen, you know. But as y'all were talking about in the preview show, I feel better with Florida's roster right now. They inherited more talent than Auburn did. Even though this is at Auburn, give me the Florida two and a half. I just I think that team is more ready to win right now. And I think Auburn is not quite there yet, but they are in the right direction. So Gators two and a half for me, but I was looking for where the hell Auburn allegedly spent $31 million in this roster. If you look at that, it's like before lock agreement Gators all day. I mean, all right. And we'll we'll make that our cover three star lock. Ooh, go lashes offense is not scored more than more than 20 points, I believe against the power four team this year in the last two. You know, when he was a USF and this is basically a USF offense. So I Florida 30 Auburn 20 Gator Bay says I've got a I've got to play in this game as well. Let's go and Bud score would make me a winner. I'm going to go under 53 and a half for the total. The way we taught I think this game could be ugly. Like and that's the one thing that makes me nervous is Auburn because of the history of goalish and Byron Brown at USF. They kind of have figured out ways to win ugly as good as Florida's as good as their offense as look. This is Aaron Phyllo's first big start. I think they could slow start in this game. And I think Auburn's defense can make this thing close. That's why the point spread is where it is. So I'll just take the under for the whole game. You know, I've started the season 15 and seven. And I figure the regression has to come at some point. So damn it. I guess I'm lock agreeing with Danny again. Give me the 53 and a half. I mean, you hit on a lot. I just I think this game could be kind of ugly and choppy. And also like to Buds point, I don't know how many points Auburn is going to score in this one. So yeah, I like the under. And Western Western like if you guys watch Western it's not willingly. Like that might be the worst D line in the country like at the FBS. I go that's that's a Ponzi scheme. You don't really know who's going to have bandage. And as you guys will talk about earlier this week, I had a guy I was doing Uber with yesterday, I do an Uber for yesterday, taking him to the airport. If you could give either one of these coaches 21 right now, would they sign up for it? Yes, they would. And I think Caroline is often suspended in Clemson's. So give me the heels plus three and a half. I mean, why don't you line sprinkle too? I mean, look, Clemson has a lot more room to improve from where they are than Caroline it is. I think Caroline is probably closer to their final form. But I mean, Clemson kept looking like crap against Georgia Sutter. You know, I think Debo might just be washed, man. Yeah. I think Clemson's effort will still be there. I think it's blown down. And I don't have much faith at all that tape Reynolds is going to be the guy that all of a sudden figures out this offense. So I think it's a rock fight as well. And listen, Danny, you showed fearlessness that inspired me because even though you're first on the corner, I'm sitting there with you. Let's go. You know what this is? This is Browns against the Titans. This is some 1710-ass football. This thing is going to be so many third and eights will not be converted in this game. So many third and eights will not be converted in this game. You mentioned I have a lot more confidence in Billy Edwards than I do in tape Reynolds. I generally think that there are enough players for North Carolina offensively to be able to win this game. I think North Carolina's defense of line is the one group that I trust the most of both teams, sort of like all the different position groups here. And I think that's not going to be good going up against a first-time starter, true freshman quarterback. So yeah, I foresee something very similar, rock fight, lower scoring NFL style. And I chose the Browns and the Titans specifically for both their colors and their quality. And if you're going to take North Carolina, I think it is in the same like no one deserves to be favorite approach that you might take to an NFL Sunday when you see the Browns play the Titans. I'm not ready to throw app state to the top of the sun belt east, but I'm right there with you. I think that this is a good number for an app state offense that's coming away looking pretty sharp with the way they've reloaded going into 2026. I'm not the three star.
