🧠 Week 3 DFS Plays ft. JMToWin, Youda, Leone & Badge Bros
237m 28s
The Week 3 DFS slate features several high-total games, including the Chargers vs. Bills and 49ers vs. Cardinals, where offensive firepower and game dynamics dominate. Josh Allen is a top-tier quarterback play despite his high price tag, as his performance is supported by a balanced Bills offense and favorable matchups, especially when stacked with James Cook. The Dallas–Ravens game is viewed as less attractive due to the absence of Zay Flowers, which weakens the offense and raises defensive concerns. At the running back level, Kenneth Walker and Jalen Gibbs are top picks, though Walker’s workload may be limited in the fourth quarter. Wide receivers like J.J. Starks and Kirk Cousins show strong upside, but matchup quality and role clarity are key. Sub-5K options such as Denzel Boston and Rashad Bateman offer value in favorable matchups, while defensive weaknesses provide opportunities. The overall strategy emphasizes stack efficiency and quarterback partner synergy—such as Herbert with Lad Makonky—over individual value, as these combinations deliver consistent, correlated performance. Weather and early ownership projections are monitored, but their impact is considered secondary. Ultimately, success hinges on identifying high-impact, high-probability plays within stacked systems, with a focus on game environments, role fit, and projected synergy.
another DFS Friday is loading right now. We are going to get you guys ready for the week three DFS light kicking things off as always with JM to win from one week season going position by position getting the best plays and then using the cascading projections and a fancy new tool over at OWS to build our line up on draft kings will then talk to you to cow see what he's seeing with this slate. Then we will go over check out some sims with Mike Leoni from ETR and then we'll wrap things up with an underdog preview with John and Nez from the Badge Bros. I'm Pete. Let's get going with the building blocks. Peter is one of the greatest depositors I've ever seen. Wait, there he is JM to win. How did your week two go, JM? My week two went about as well as Jaden Daniels elbow Pete. You know, it's funny. We talked about that game being a game that I liked it because the floor was high. You could scoop some payouts even if you didn't end up hitting and I was actually still in the money everywhere with my Jaden roster up until that last DAC to CDLAM touchdown. So it went from profitable to unprofitable with a half a game from quarterback, but no, it was a good set up didn't play out in my favor with the injury, but looking forward to this week. Pete, how did you do in week two? I saw a thumbnail, but I don't want to take all of my information from a thumbnail. What was it a thumbnail where Parker Washington was face-harming me? I just know that it was like more deposit kingdom level. Yeah, yeah, no, no, that wasn't a good week for me. I mean, it was a weird week in that the paying up for running backs did not work out like no running back smashed. It was chase it was Liam. Your uncle was right. You just had to come back to that Dallas and Washington game. I played the Washington side of it. I thought that was kind of a fun way to attack it and like Jaden Daniel's elbow that didn't end well for me. Yeah, you know, it's funny. I had to not the people people how much do people really want to care about last week, but I had I was confident CDLAM was the better play than George Pickens. I wanted one of those guys with Ferguson, and I just I couldn't get up to CDLAM because I had to have beach on Robinson. So that was kind of the nature of of that slate. Yeah, so we'll and you see it's like Bijon goes off week one with Cooper rush goes off last night with penics back in and it's just you get the one blip in the middle there. Panthers defense man, that panthers defense so stoked. Yeah, we will we'll talk about them. I'm sure today, but yeah, let's you know, let's turn the page here to week three a new week. Three DFS laid. I do have shared up on the screen some of these higher game totals. Of course this Baltimore Dallas game in Rio. We got the chargers at Buffalo Buffalo doing most of the heavy lifting with that 49 and a half total jets at Detroit. Then seeing a little steam around the internet on that one Arizona at San Francisco, same deal San Francisco carrying that total and then the Jags at the Patriots rounding out the top five. What do you see in kind of overall here at a glance? Yeah, we see that gap between Arizona San Francisco, New England, Jacksonville, the Baltimore. And do we have news on safe flowers? I've been in my cave lately. I just know we didn't practice yesterday. I'll keep the news up, but it didn't seem like it was trending in the right direction. Yeah, well, that was kind of my guess coming into the week and then we came out of Sunday with them saying whatever they were saying has a good chance to play. And I kind of started to reorient my thinking, but that's a very different offense without safe flowers. And obviously we can. Discussions around the Dallas defense and you know how good the Dallas offense is, but there are a lot of variables they're going to Rio, you know, they're not playing in Jerry World, they're all traveling, you know, down south of the equator. And then knows a flowers. Yeah, that game's just not super interesting to me. This charters and bills one will get to it as we start talking about things. I think that there's a, you know, there was a stretch last year was when the offensive line was already banged up, but there was a stretch last year when Justin Herbert combined for 25 draft Kings points across two games in the middle of the season was like weeks 12 and 13 something like that. He scored 33 the next week. That was just thinking last night, how much we blow these things out of proportion when it happens the first two weeks of the season. If that happens in the middle of the season, you're not really thinking about it, but if it happens the first two weeks of the season, it feels very predictive. It feels like the new story of the season the daughter's backs are against the walls like if they don't play well here their seasons kind of over on they can go on three and still find their way to the playoffs even with the tough schedule. But like if they come out and lay a dud in a championship caliber playoff caliber game, that's kind of their season and that's a place where it's like I willing to place a bet on Harbaugh and and Herbert not laying three duds in a row in a game that they need to have in a game where Josh Allen is going to be aggressive. So I think that one's really interesting. And then yeah, this the Jets and Lions, what was last year that first game against Ben Johnson. The Lions won 52 to 21 and just kind of kept it up. And so you could see something like that. Here's a stat for you, Jameer Gibbs has gone for 37 or more draft Kings points in six of his last 11 home games, 37 or more. And then in three of the last 12 St Browns gone for 37 or more. So one of these guys is probably hitting against the Jets. And so yeah, and then 49ers some interesting angles there as far as how they use McCaffrey and all that. I think the Cardinals will be competitive enough for the 49ers will be playing deep into the game. Yeah, I mean, I was going to ask you about Baltimore and Dallas, but I think we can just segue to quarterback and talk about it through the lens of back and Lamar here. But yeah, kind of curious what you're seeing with those guys and wait, maybe why that game isn't quite as attractive to you as maybe it would be just based on the total. Well, I was building when I thought maybe Zay was playing midweek. I was building some rosters where literally I was putting in Ted Hearst and I was putting in Jalen Noel in order to fit in like this super sick Lamar and Zay. And I think it had pickins and then like JS and then you're like the hand, but if Lamar and Jay if Lamar and Zay hit here, but it's just a very different offensive safe flowers isn't playing. So let's talk assuming that Zay is out. You know, I don't I don't have the exact numbers. This is just from watching the games, but as soon as Zay flowers went out in week one, the offense. It didn't go into a shell, but like it had a much harder time getting things going in Indianapolis. And then that was why I was off of that offense last week and even off of Derek Henry was because you have to think you have to put yourselves in the shoes of a defensive coordinator and what you're concerned about like for shot. He has some speed, but he's not a nuanced route runner. He's not making sick contested catches like he's not a problem. You know, and so you can say, all right, let's sell out to stop Derek Henry. The Saints are a better more well coach defense than Dallas. They're better equipped to do that. But it's just it's hard to see them blowing up for a huge game when when Rashad Baitman and Mark Andrews are your primary weapons. And then you have a Jesse Menter defense and these defenses, as we talked about this last week on the site, but same as Mike McDonald's first year in Baltimore, Mike McDonald's first year in Seattle, it can take time for one of these more complicated defenses to really settle in and be playing together. But like once Baltimore settles in, they're not going to be giving up more than 23 points almost every game. Now Dallas can be an exception there because they're a great offense, but still you're talking about a great offense playing a defense that you don't ever expect to give it more than 23 points. Like, are they putting up 34? Are they putting up 37? They can, but that's just not how I want to play that game. So yeah, generally speaking at price at cost. This is not a game that has been standing out to me if say flowers is out. If flowers is in, then that changes the way I look at this. And, but this is one of these, and I mean, I've looked at CD Lamb. I've looked at George Pickens, especially at his price tag. Chimante Williams won't be for me because, you know, his ceiling just isn't that high with his elevated price tag. I love his floor with his workload. But yeah, that's how I'm seeing this game. And I don't think that there's anything wrong with going to Derek Henry going to any of the past sketches. I just don't think that's where I'm going to end up this week. It's also, I mean, Friday morning. So don't hold me to that if like my Saturday update is like, hey, guys, it came around a Derek Henry. I've got 20% Derek Henry, but that's where I'm at right now. Yeah. And, you know, the, the value, I mean, there's a little value that opens up on the Ravens there. If no, say, you know, Bateman and Mark Andrews would look pretty good as points for a dollar plays. But otherwise, it is kind of hard to make those pieces work. Like he said, you got to be looking at the Ted Herse of the world to jam all those guys in. Let's stay here at the high end though. I mean, Josh Allen, he's just been on an absolute tear of 38 points, 40 points in back to back weeks now has a home matchup versus this ailing chargers team eight K though. Can we stomach that price tag for the best quarterback and football? Yeah, I mean, I would want to think of him not in terms of what he costs, but what his stack costs. And when you look at his stacks, because you got DJ Morphe's playing or you've got Dalton Kincade. Or if DJ Morphe's out, you got maybe key on Coleman or Clio's Shakir, however you want to play that like his stack ends up being cheaper, you know, it's still one of the more expensive stacks, but it's like it makes it something that you can stomach a little bit more than the, you can't just think about Josh Allen at the 8K price tag. This is another one where I'm trying to think if this had happened mid season, you know, this were weeks seven and eight people would be like, all these fish chasing after Josh Allen, but it happens weeks one and two, and it feels like this is what we're going to get all season. [BLANK_AUDIO]
If we got this all season, it would be the all-time, great quarterback fantasy season. When you look at a 38.7, a 40.8, and this week's 1 and 2, it's hard to even wrap your head around. He could put up 26, but he could have a great game and put up 26. What I'm looking at is this game environment. Do I expect there to be points? What I've liked about the bills is it's interesting because Brady was the offensive coordinator last year. How much was Sean McDermott holding him back? Last year, they were very much like Josh Allen was break glass in case of emergency. It would give Josh Allen the cape if he needs the cape. The rest of the time we're leaning on the run game, well, everybody's down on the chargers in this one. Herbert's projecting it like 2% ownership. Nobody thinks the judges are going to play well. Why is everybody on Josh Allen here? My thought is, if we think that the bill's offense is going to continue to be a wagon, they're going to score points here. Those touchdowns are just as likely to flow through James Cook and you might even say more likely this week because the coaching staff's going to be like, "Let's get James Cook. Some touches close to the goal line because everything's been flowing through Josh Allen so far." I think that the bills will do really well. I think that if you're playing Josh Allen, you're probably betting on the chargers being competitive and so then the chargers pieces are cheap. You need some chargers pieces, but also if you're betting on Josh Allen, you could also say, "Man, the field is going to James Cook, but not like a top-top running back." Right now, I think it's like 13-14% is what we're seeing, so then you could say, "Man, maybe James Cook gets the touchdowns as well." I think Josh Allen is as a good shot at hitting for a big game here. I think that strategically, you can think about other ways to go. Just one macro note, when I'm seeing with early ownership projections at quarterback is no one running away from things. I'm seeing everybody under 10% right now so does look like it will be fairly spread out. What about in this 6K range deck is also, of course, a part of that, but you got borough, you got pretty, golf, my homes, Drake, May, and yeah, let's stick in the 6Ks there. Do you have any favorites of that bunch? I would say, "Purdy." This is another week where my wife and kids get back tomorrow night. My schedule is a little more flexible. I don't have to have the player good finished by Pete's of Friday and so I can go a little later tonight. All that to say, my player pool isn't completely set yet, which I like. I like being able to save that to later in the week, but right now, yeah, Purdy and Gough are two of the quarterbacks who are circling my builds. Gough at home, you always like that, and then Purdy, Purdy with Kittle has been such a cheat code over the last few years when they've both been healthy and playing and so Purdy from that standpoint, Arizona, the thing with Arizona is, I think they'll be competitive and so I think you get the 49ers playing deep into the game and so that doesn't mean that they're going to be chasing points, but I think that you have them. The fourth quarter is maybe not them just running out the clock. It's more like, "Hey, here's some throw to pick up first downs," type of thing. You can get enough Purdy usage here that he can hit for a tournament winner as well. What about with Mahomes because the setup for Purdy is almost kind of similar, right? Where you have these two really big team totals. You have the majority of the offensive production funneling through the running back, who catches passes with both CMC and Kenneth Walker. And then the tight ends, you know, have both been playing well, Kittle and Kelsey. Would you entertain Mahomes with a similar kind of angle, or do you just think it's all going through Walker? You know, it's funny, I, in my journal this week, I threw up the similarities between Kansas City and San Francisco, and because on top of that, like, wide receiver cores that they fulfill their roles as opposed to kind of creating themselves and fulfill their roles in a really well-schemed offense, but I was thinking about that more in terms of like, I was playing out this sheaths game in my head, and it was like, I can't see them finishing drives without a touchdown. And so then I looked up the 49ers and was like, oh, yeah, five touchdowns to start the game, right? That's kind of what you expect. But it's a different, like, the Cardinals are, they're like lack of talent was overblown. If you remember last year, they were through like, I don't know what it was, week eight, nine, somewhere in there. They were consistently almost beating really good teams, and it was like just falling short, just a mistake at the end, just something not breaking their way. And then Ganon kind of lost by in, and they just snowballed, right? It just started getting worse and worse and worse, and they started getting blown out. And then, you know, they, like, presets their starter, and so all the narrative of this offseason was like, can they even win two games? It's like, they're a pretty competitive team, you know, whereas the Dolphins are a legitimate junior varsity team without NFL starting talent. Like, most of these guys will not be starters on NFL teams two years from now. So I see these games very differently, and I see this Chiefs and Dolphins game. The only way it stays close is if the Chiefs just kind of mail it in and don't show up to play, which given their championship DNA, I think is pretty unlikely. So I think that the Chiefs control this game from start to finish. I think you get, you know, like 27, 29, 30 pass attempts from my homes. I don't think that you're getting the type of back-and-forth shootout that you need to win a tournament. Okay, can he get a solid score, absolutely, but at 6200 is he going to put up, like, 31? Is he going to be the reason you won on this late? I would be absolutely shocked. So, yeah, not a place that I'm going to go this week. Yeah, that's a good note about, like, you know, not all team totals are created equal as far as what it points to for shootout potential. And the Cardinals definitely have the personnel to get in a back-and-forth way more so than the Dolphins. What about in this 5K range? So, definitely want to hear your thoughts on Herbert. You have Lawrence at home versus New England. I mean, Bryce Young has been playing incredible through two weeks. Looks like Darnel's going to be back. Shuck is another one who's pretty interesting, I would say, at home versus the Raiders. And then maybe let's toss Kyler Murray in there as well at 5100, him returning in week three. Yeah, well, I think, first off, this in itself, your query in itself is instructive because, like, I was going through my quarterback pool in the bank machine last night and just, like, I'm going to chop it down to, like, my five or six main guys that I cut out, like, four guys. It was like, okay, like, I know I don't like all these guys. I haven't been building Raiders with all these guys, but it's kind of hard to cut guys out this week. So, it is kind of flat and probably scoring is not going to be flat. Something's going to spike, but it's kind of flat in terms of, from the outside of the week, looking in what's going to spike, there are a lot of options. So of the ones you mentioned and one you didn't, I will bring up, I'll bring up four guys. Bryce Young, man, like, I was kind of whispering this last year, but now I'm saying it more confidently. Bryce Young's good. Like, I mean, he looks really good right now. It's been two games and so all caveats apply that I've been saying, I have just happened in the middle of the season, but like, they're actually, I mean, what was it, 36 pass attempts last week in a game they won 34 to 3. And like, there's perceptions around the Atlanta defense that are overblown because the team has been bad and they were in a lot of bad situations last week, but they're not a bad defense. They don't have a pass rush, but outside of that, they're not a bad defense. And they're letting them throw the ball, which is a big deal and throw it aggressively down the field. Also the Browns, man, the Browns last week looked totally different than week one. They were a kamikaze unit last week. And it looked like most, most pass plays was just four bull rushes. They were just flying up field, if the, if the, if the bucks ran the ball, Bucky Irving just like ran right underneath the pass rush. And so that can lead to Bryce Young kind of ducking out and then hitting for some big plays, going on some runs. So I'm back and forth on whether or not Bryce Young could make it onto my tightest builds, but I think he's very interesting. I think that Shuck is interesting because the, just this Shuck Alabe, Joanne Johnson thing has continued to go, Sam Darnold is the one I wanted to bring up that you didn't mention. Because if you're playing JSN, why are we not playing Sam Darnold? You pop JSN at 36 points in cascading projections, Sam Darnold pops up to 27 point projection. You go through their game logs and you see a lot of the time when JSN's going for 33, 35 plus Sam Darnold is also hitting at that price tag like for a really nice game, 25, 27, something like that, even 30 plus. And so if you're playing JSN, I think you think about him. And then the other guy is Herbert where, again, I just think that I think the Chargers come out and play well. And I'm almost willing to place a bet on that on a main roster. I'm not totally sure yet that that's where I'm at, but I definitely am going to have some Herbert this week. But it's just like, if everybody's just assuming that this team is a complete dud after two weeks, the NFL is always changing, right? These teams are living organisms. They're getting better. They're getting worse. They're improving week to week. I mean, you need no more than watch the Browns defense week one and week two where the level of competition was different, but like the Browns defense looked like a totally different product with the attitude and the way they were attacking things. And so yeah, I just think Herbert's interesting this week. You know, it's funny because I'm curious, almost like zooming out a little bit with your process for when you do kind of narrow your quarterback pool. How much of it is just, you know, in a vacuum, I like this quarterback. I like their setup versus like, how do the stacking pieces actually come together? Because you mentioned shock, right? It's so clean. We know it's a lobby. It's Vela and Joanne Johnson, even with Bryce Young right now. It is super clean. Yeah. Yeah. And it's Jalen Koker. Herbert's a little dicey. You have, you know, lad coming off the injury. We haven't really seen QJ pop yet. They got some weird stuff going on at tight end, like it's not as clean of a stack. So could you see that impacting, like, who does make that pool, the cleanliness of the stack? Yeah. So I'll take that in two parts and try to be concise. But the stack is a huge part because it's all about the math.
So if you get the quarterback right, but you get the stack partner wrong, then that's worse math or if you're unlikely to get the stack partner wrong or you're guessing on the stack partner, that's worse math than a spot that's a little bit less likely to hit, but you know where the stacking partner is. So the stack is all about covering two or three thoughts on your roster with one bet. And so I want the comprehensive bet to be what I'm looking at, not just the individual quarterback. On the chargers, like Herbert Plus Lad is the stack, and you can throw QJ onto that, but Herbert Plus Lad is the stack, but the thing is like the whole offense doesn't work without Lad Makonky. Quint Johnson's not, he's, he's Xavier Legett, like 10 percent better, you know, like he's not a good team. Yeah. He's not a great player, you know. And so it's like, you can't build an offense, a functional offense around QJ and Trey Harris and like you have to have Lad Makonky out there. And so a bet on Herbert is essentially a bet on Makonky, you know, getting a shot and playing all the stamps this week as opposed to being in and out like he was last week. And so, yeah, like if Makonky's not fully there, then this offense probably isn't fully there this week. And so I think that the stacking partner is lad and you throw in QJ if you want the three player stack or Gatson, if you want to throw in a cheap piece. But yeah, I agree with you that like the Makonky thing is an issue, and that could pull the whole stack down for sure. Yeah, because then where my head goes with it not to belabor this point too much where I'm like, if Lad is what makes this work, can I just, can I just play? Lad and then play another quarterback with a more concentrated thing to make the amount of things I have to get right in the lineup a little easier. Well, yeah, like play a lad and then play Schuck and a lot and you got four spots right here. Yeah. What about if people are trying to get cheap this week, sub 5K? I mean, there are some some interesting names. Unfortunately, Malik Willis is not one of them, just not running enough. Gina, we should definitely talk about down here. We'll always want to talk about James Winston as well. He's down here in the Cheapies at 4K. And then Jacoby Berset, you know, some garbage time heroics maybe there. Anything 5K that you could see yourself dabbling in? Like we're saying, man, this week is nuts at quarterback and not nuts in like, they're all so good, but it's just like, they're all kind of flat at quarterback. Yeah, I mean, you can make case for Geno against Detroit where they're going to be chasing points. They're not they're an aggressive offense and that they will throw the ball down field. They're not like play by play aggressively, you know, putting pressure on the defense. But that might not matter if the Lions are forcing them. Berset, I don't think I'll end up on just because it's hard to see like, like, there's guys down here, like, Darnold can go for 30. Herbert can go for 30, Schuck can go for 27, 28, like, Berset, a really strong game is probably going to be about 22, 23. And that was great last year down the stretch run when he stayed cheap for some reason and pricing so tight deep into the season. But not a place I'll go. Janus can go for like 22, 23. I'm trying to put out of my mind how bad he looked. He and Mariotta looked equally bad last week. But then you're like, you're cold coming off the bench, you got memories of being the number one and number two overall picks and you're having to come in as a backup. They both looked horrible and they had, they didn't look horrible last year. You know, and so it's like, okay, they came in cold, they weren't ready to play. It was a bad situation. So yeah, I mean, Janus, how much is Tennessee pushing them? I think if you're the Giants coaching staff, what I said earlier in the week is your goal is to come out of this with a win. Janus throwing around 30 passes, like, that's how you're calling this game, right? So that's the one thing with Janus is, I don't see the Giants game plan really supporting the spiked week. It would have to come on like a few downfield throws. So what she can do, obviously, but yeah, I haven't found myself on Janus rosters, but I could easily see Janus rosters winning this week. It's kind of that type of week. Let's go to a position where there's like, where we can have more confidence in something. Yeah, quarterback is like, I've got the plays I like, but I don't know that they're dramatically better than some of the other plays that people are going to be on. Yeah, they are. Yeah, it is something you almost want to kind of reverse engineer from your other core conviction plays there specifically at wide receiver and tight end. And the other thing, just on Winston, kind of similar to the Herbert and Ladd, it's like, we really need neighbors to be good because he's the one who unlocks all the big plays downfield. I know there's some excitement for likely, but if Winston's really hitting for 25 plus points, I mean, neighbors is helping him get there. Oh, yeah, I take no one over. OBJ's the number four receiver, you know, so it's like, we're, we need neighbors. The, the number two wide receiver is whoever is standing 10 feet beyond Malachi fields that James. I did just post in the link for the chat. If you guys are YouTube members here, you have access to the free roll. Scott says that link says not found Pete. That's because you're not a YouTube member. If you're a YouTube member, you will be able to access that link and it is a free roll. We have a thousand dollars to first place. The top 100 prizes or top 100 get paid out and there's only 107 people in there right now. So quite literally can pay off your YouTube membership in one week and we'll be running these every week. It will also get you access to the after dark shows on Saturdays. I'm having Neil Orfield on tomorrow night and the Sunday morning crams. So two premium shows, the annual free roll discord, incredible bang for your buck. But let's go over and talk about running back a more fun position to talk about. We have two just, I think you could say three, four plays up here at the top that all look incredible just from a projection standpoint. But yeah, let's start here. And I think because Walker just is clearly in this group, but maybe from not a price perspective, I will carry this down from Gibbs, McCaffrey, Henry Taylor, and Walker, what do you like at the high end? Yeah, well, I already mentioned Gibbs just gives at home in this role. I think that we obviously keep them in mind. Like I said, dare, Henry, I could see him beating me, right? But that's probably not where I'm going to go if Zay flowers is out. I'm probably not on Christian McCaffrey either because we're so tied up in the name and the that price tag at 8300, right? We're hoping for 30 points. Like, we're used to paying for guys up here who are hitting 26 in a bad game. And he can do it, right? Like, when I was talking about McCaffrey earlier in the week, I remember in 2023, it was a week where I was like, I'm not in on McCaffrey this week against Arizona, then he put up 44.7. And so he can do it. It's just like the nature of his role right now for this 49ers team that has super bowl aspirations. If he beats me, he beats me, JT against Houston, I'm not going to end up there. So yeah, for me, it's Kenneth Walker's in consideration with concerns around like they're probably going to limit his workload when they get this big lead. They're probably going to mix in Emma Johnson a little bit more than normal. They're probably going to not play him in the fourth quarter if they're controlling this game. So that's the concern with Kenneth Walker. So Gibbs is the clear one up here and then Kenneth Walker kind of in consideration for me. Yeah, and I think from an ownership perspective to my guess is that Gibbs and Walker are pretty clearly the top two most popular running back plays on the slate. If we dip down here in the 7K range and lower, let's also include Gen T at 7100. We've talked a little bit about the bills, James Cook and that game, Omar and Hampton, right below them. Then you do have Javante in that Baltimore Dallas game. And we can include Chase Brown here in this mid six range, anyone there that jumps out to you. Yeah, my rankings here would go cook and then for just for like what wins you the most money, not for projections, it would go cook than Omar and Hampton then asked in Gen T. I don't think that Hampton is as likely as Gen T to hit for a big game, but if everybody's down in the chargers and he's going to be 2%, 3% owned, we saw him go for 30 points last year, he's capable of going for 30 points granted, he's 6,800, that's part of the problem is like he needs about 30 points to really justify it and that's kind of his outlier game. But if I want to say, I think the chargers play well here in score points, then Hampton's a sneaky way to get access to those points. Would that be, I mean, I was saying how there's maybe limited options for stacking with Herbert. Would you consider something like Herbert Hampton and Ladd and just trying to say I want to capture all of the points through the premium pieces? Yeah, when we look at the, well, we probably want to even get to this when we look at the stacks tool, but anybody who wants to mess around with the stacks tool later, they'll see that these like quarterback plus running back stacks hit more often than people play them. And it's not because they're correlated, they're generally like not correlated, but they're also not negatively correlated, right? And so it's just like, if the offense is doing well, then that can mean both guys hit. So I'm always happy to throw a running back into a quarterback stack, especially because it's underplayed. As we head down below here, there's a few names that are interesting to me. I mean, really, Breeze Hall in Bucky Irving 6300, 6400. They both had the really solid roles through two weeks, catching passes, not the worst game environments here. And then Chuba Hubbard, we got to mention him, Jonathan Stewart, obviously is out of the picture. It's really just AJ Dylan back there, Hubbard's been running well. What do you like in this like six, five in lower range? Did the check and on you for the Jonathan Stewart mentioned? Did I do it again? I swear to God every time I try to say Jonathan Brooks, I say Jonathan Stewart. Oh, that's great. So yeah, I mean, any of these guys, like I don't think any of them really stand out, Hubbard probably has the biggest
role because it's hard to see like where they're going outside of that. And watching the rounds last week, like the rounds didn't care about the run game. Like Bucky would be given the ball and be three yards past the defensive lineman who were like they were rushing the passer on 1st and 10 like it was 3rd and 17, you know. But then Bucky's got speed. So in like Schwestinger chased him down and these defensive lineman turn and ran at him like he was able to keep going whereas Chuba, it's like how much separation does he get from these guys. But I think it's Chuba's very much in the mix here. I like Breeze Hall more than, but I don't like playing running backs against Minnesota because Minnesota is going to make those running backs block. They're going to be really good against the run game. Breeze Hall, I generally don't like playing running backs against Detroit because they're good against the run. They haven't been as good against the run this year. And then again, he's involved in the past game. So there's just opportunity. You have outs there with him. And so yeah, I mean, nothing really stands out. I think Chuba's the sharpest play on paper here. And you really, I mean, we can't take David Montgomery completely out of the mix where Stroud threw it 54 times last week. They're not going to want that. They're going to want to run the ball here this week. Unfortunately, he's splitting a lot of work with Woody Marx. We know the money touches will go to him. So yeah, he's below these other guys, but he's still in the conversation, I think. But Chuba, to me, is the is the standout play on paper. And then you kind of think about these other guys beyond that. Yeah. What do you think about the overall game environment for Carolina in Cleveland? And you know, I've been trying to think this through like through two weeks, the Browns are 31st in place, just playing super slow. And yet Watson's playing competent enough that they have a few explosive plays. We've seen that with Denzel Boston, Judkins has not gotten going. So I've been trying to think through this element of like, we like Carolina. All the pieces are really concentrated, good values. But like, does this game have the back and forth to shoot out potential in your mind? Or would it just be Carolina getting there on kind of value alone? Yeah, I mean, this is a hard game to wrap our heads around. And also their first game was in Carolina. Their second game was in a dome in Atlanta. And now you're playing off the lake in Cleveland with a little tiny Bryce Young might get blown away by the wind. But no, it's a hard game to wrap my head around. You know, there was a stretch last week where the Browns had a third and long on six consecutive drives. And four of them were three and outs. It was just like, third and long and then punt, you know, and and then one of them, they got to a fourth and short and got to turn over on down. And it's just like, this Browns offense doesn't have rhythm. But then every once while Dishonn Watson's, he's actually standing in there and taking hits now and making like good throws down field from time to time. And so, yeah, there's such a broad range of outcomes here where this Cleveland defense is playing fast and aggressive. It could be trouble for Carolina. Cleveland offense still isn't good yet. But also Cleveland, the Carolina defense is just decent. It's not good. It's not bad. And Cleveland could score points here. And Carolina could continue to play really well. So like, this has an extremely broad range of outcomes. And so you kind of have to pick a side, right? Like you play all in or you kind of avoid it is how I'm treating this game. And if you play all in, you can bring back a Denzel Boston from the other side too. Like you can bring in pieces from the other side. Judkins is going to be, I think, a little bit popular this week just because we need some value and he's playing against this Carolina run defense. The big risk here is he just gets gamescripted out, right? That the rounds fall behind and you end up with like an eight to 10 carry game for Judkins and one or two catches. But also there's a chance that they're competitive in this and he gets his 17 to 20 carries and puts up 25 points. So, yeah, you kind of have to take a stand on this game and it's early enough in the season that we're sort of still guessing on it as well. This sub 6K range is littered with Q tags, which is a bit of a bummer because it look like Jalen Warren was going to be one of the best value plays on the slate with Rico Dowdall unlikely to play. He's at 5,700, but then he's also dealing with a bit of an injury, although it sounds like he's going to play thoughts on Jalen Warren and then anyone else in this 5K range. Yes. So there are 5K wide receivers who can put up tournament winners and you can say that Jalen Warren can as well. But Warren and Dowdall have combined for like 15 and 16 points to start the season, Cincinnati's defenses playing well, their run defenses playing well. So I don't think I'm going to end up on Warren and I'm going to hope that he has high ownership just because that's typically an edge over time, right? If he gets you 13 to 17 points, there are other players sub 6K who are going to put up 20 to 25 and so I want to be hunting those down. Maybe I'll end up on the guy who puts up 6 and the field got 15 from Warren, but that's okay because over time trying to find those guys who you think can separate is how we're going to win. And so, yeah, I'm not going to be on Jalen Warren, but, you know, changes pending, but I don't expect to be on Jalen Warren and I'll be going other directions below 6K. Yeah, I guess in this range, the other ones that I think would be worth pointing out. I mean, you mentioned Judkins there. Jadarian Price, you know, he left with an injury, but it's trending, I think, to play Aaron Jones as well as the chalk kind of failed people. He has the Q tag here, but maybe a slightly better matchup this week outside of, you know, a better weather environment, I should say. So, any of those guys make your list of 6K? No. No, okay. All right. So, it's 7K or sorry, 6K or higher for the Jalen. Yeah, I think it's I think it's 6K or higher for me at running back. Yeah, I don't. Unless you want to get crazy and play Emmett Johnson. You know what? Who didn't it used to be? It was the back up. It was the two running backs you were playing. Was it last year? What was the team where it was like, maybe it was Beigeon and Algier together on some stuff, I forget. There was one back there. You would entertain the back up running back playing kind of the blowout script. I can't remember who it was now. No, but that rings a bell. That sounds like me. But no, like I think Emmett Johnson, I've got him at like nine to 12 carries and two to three catches. I think they mix him in a little bit more early than then they have the last couple weeks. And I think that they give him the fourth quarter. But I also think, you know, if the game goes the way that I expected to go. And if they give him the fourth quarter, I don't think it's just runs. Like I think that they run their offense a little bit, you know, and they he gets one or two catches in that fourth quarter. And I would think that they try to get him a touchdown. Right. So in that, it's like, if I say 10 carries, three catches or even say two and a half catches and a touchdown, you know, you end up with like 16, 17 points, which is what people are going to pay, you know, 1,300 more for for Jalen Warren. And it's harder to find that sub 5K. So I honestly think it's probably not the sharpest way to build. But I like the idea. So I built like anytime I put him in, I'm like, I can probably do better sub 5K, but I think it's close to being sharp. And so it's close enough that I played around with it. I will just say that Reeves double or I should say rubber stamped that pick on the show we did yesterday. He was like, I don't think I'm going to get there in DFS, but he really likes the hires for Emmett Johnson, like I see his rushing yards on underdog at 24 and a half, just that same thought of like, he's going to have a lot of opportunities to clear that number in the second half. Did you do a show with Reeves last year? No, that's a new thing this year. Yeah, I love Reeves. Yeah, I listen to him in Karan every week and him in Highlo on on O.W.S. every week, but he and I were on Hunter Henry together last week. So maybe we could be the same one in the Johnson feel really good about ourselves and not actually get the points. There you go. Any any other notes on running back before we move on to wide receiver here? Yeah, okay. Yeah, let's head over to wide receiver where last week we had all of those high-end guys getting there. We get Omen Rob back on the main slate after he went off on Thursday night football. We still have JSN here. Now getting it, Donald back most likely. I don't think that's official yet. Jamar Chase, C.D. Lam, Crystal Lave, who are your favorites up here at the high end? J.S.N. and St. Brown are my favorites up here at the high end and the caveat applies that any of these guys can hit. We hadn't seen C.D. Lam hit once in the last two years and then he hit last week. So that seems likely to draw more attention to him than he would have gotten this week if he hadn't hit last week. So who is the highest probability of hitting JSN and St. Brown and then who can also hit is any of these guys because they're elite weapons who are capable of hitting in any matchup. But JSN and St. Brown are the ones that stand out the most. Yes. I mean, JSN, is there anyone playing the wide receiver position at a higher level than JSN right now? He is so fucking good, man. Yeah, yeah, man. That's all I have to say about that. Glad I can get that off by Jess. Jess and Jefferson with Kyler, it's still this weird thing where we haven't seen it. We saw him go off with when Kyler leaves that game early. Do you think this could be a blow-up spot for Jefferson with Kyler? No, I mean, could it? Yes. Do I think it's going to be no? In Tampa with the Blitz and Kyler, I just, I'm not ready for it, but I can certainly see, like I see Kyler getting a little bit of the steam and projections and whatnot. I can certainly see why people are going there. I'm not going to go there with myself. This kind of high 6K range is littered with the Q tags there. Don't think Flowers is going to play. Nico's not going to play. Evans, bang.
up. Can you go back to Pickens after kind of two, you know, not quite as good of games as you would hope for for him? Oh, 100%. Yeah. I mean, even last year Pickens, it was like eight points, 11 points, 10 points, 36 points, 11 points, 32 points. He's going to be Boomer Bust. So we can't let the 5.8 and 10 change the way we're thinking about him. He's likely still going to be Boomer Bust this year, but that means he's going to have some boom weeks. So again, not the best defense matchup, but that doesn't always matter for Dallas either. So Pickens is definitely a guy that I've been circling. We skipped, we jumped over a Lava, but obviously another guy where like his price tags out up here with these other dudes and he's not one of these other dudes, but in terms of his usage and his production, he's getting close fantasy wise to being in that conversation. And so, you know, it's funny is Jefferson, Lam, St. Brown, Jamar, Jason. Those guys have all put up 40 burgers, like more than once in their career. And a Lava, I guess maybe he did have like a 38 last year, but we're not likely getting that, right? So he's pushing up into that tier price wise and the ceiling isn't quite what these other guys have, but in terms of what he's likely to get on a given week. He's very much in that conversation. And then yeah, Pickens, neighbors, you know, like I like to look through my roster and be like, how many of these guys can score 30? And obviously like the more correlated things are the better your storytelling is, the better the game environment backs it up, all of those are useful as well. But one exercise I like to use, like 30, 30, 30, 30, like all the way through the roster and hopefully have six or seven spots, like neighbors and Pickens can both hit for 30. And so they're both very much in play here in this price range. Instead of asking you whether Parker Washington's a good player, not let me ask you what should his fair salary be if J.M. was trying to create the most efficient, perfect salary for Parker Washington. What would it be for week three? That's a great question. The 6,700, 6,800, it's hard because we still need to see like this role carry for a whole season, but I feel pretty confident that it's going to. And then the Patriots also like Parker Washington is going to avoid Christians in Dallas. He's going to be in the slot. Consoles is going to be outside. So my only hesitation on Washington is like the Patriots, they still have that Bellichick DNA of like, we're going to figure out what you want to do. And we're going to figure out a way to stop that first and foremost. And then you got to do something else to beat us. So I don't know what their plan is going to be for Parker Washington. But I feel confident that they're going to have a plan. Does it work? Who knows? But like some teams don't come out and say, hey, we're going to like Denver last week was like, we're going to stop Parker Washington all costs. They're like, we're going to play our defense and the jacks up to come beat us. And Parker Washington was running free in the middle. Like the Patriots aren't going to let that happen. So are they successful? I don't know. But that's the only thing that gives me pause on Parker Washington. I do think he's underpriced for his role and his talent in that offense. And then do I get there on a main build? I don't know because of the Patriots. But yeah, I'm with you on that one. Yeah. The interesting thing is my guess is because he projects as such a value. And because that game doesn't have a lot of pieces that you really want to get into from a game stack perspective that you're going to see a ton of just one off Parker Washington. Right. Not with Lawrence, not opposite me. Just people being like, hey, give me the six K to make this work. So I don't know if that makes it something like chalk that you want to eat or if you're like, oh, maybe I can play into this game environment to get you. Yeah. I mean, like I think it's sharp to not play into the game environment. That's not to say it can't hit. But like on anything that's not like a super large field tournament, you're probably not playing into that game environment. But I also don't think that that's that means you have to fade Parker Washington. I don't think he's a key decision point strategically on this like he couldn't end up being a key decision point in terms of point scored because he could put up a 27 points or something like that. But he would need to put up like he would need to put up like 35 to really burn you for not playing him. And so I think he's a sharp play. But I think that you can also not overthink him and just go other directions as well. You said there weren't too many running backs. If any in that five to six K range, you could kind of really break the slate. But reference, there might be some wide receivers who could do so. So over here in this 5K wide receiver range, who are those guys that have tournament winning upside? Okay. Who can score 30 plus at wide receiver? Lad McConkey can score 30 plus DJ Moore can score 30 plus Jalen Coker can score 25 plus James and Williams can score 25 plus Trey Tucker can score 25 plus Quentin Johnson can score 25 plus but you know, get across your fingers and hope on that one. And I'm probably missing some guys too. But those are the ones that stand out to me off the top of my head that can legitimately score 25 plus. And so when there's a week where there's four or five guys who can do that, then what I have to assume heading into a tournament is that if one of those guys hits somebody that I'm competing against got that guy. Some rosters got that score. And so I need to think about positioning myself to be one of the rosters that got that score. And that doesn't mean I have to play one of these guys if a roster is coming together differently and salary is not pointing me in that range. But if I'm in this five six K below range and I'm choosing between a running back home like he could get me 15 points or a wide receiver who could get me eight or nine but could get me 25. I got to take the guy who can get me the 25 because that's how we win tournaments. So that's how I'm looking at kind of this sub six K range this week. And there's some five K guys at wide receiver too. But on the sub six K guys, those are the ones that are standing out to me right now. JMO kind of the the pickins of Detroit as far as a guy we like, we know has the blowup potential but hasn't quite done it yet. Do you like this overall spot for him at home versus the Jets? Yeah. Man coverage and the I think Detroit will be aggressive. They're playing at home. JMO hasn't hit yet. We also see the nine targets in week one. It's just like the stats haven't followed. So yeah, there's very much opportunity for JMO hit this week. Let's see here. One guy we didn't mention any thoughts on on Josh Downs. We saw his role really jump in week two 30% target share 91% of the routes nine targets here. Maybe not typically a jam type of play though. No, and I mean, I think he's capable of getting the hundred guard bonus to probably on heavy volume. The bigger thing for me is I always want to think about touchdowns is what separates us in DFS. And so what is the touchdown ceiling for this offense and how likely are they to access that touchdown ceiling. So not a guy I'm going to, but like I like the role for him and I like the player and the big thing that's held him back in fantasy is just that role and player component not matching up. And right now they are matching up. So I'm not going to spend time talking down Josh Downs. I won't go there because of the game against Houston, but I like him as a player and I like his role and certainly think he's capable of hitting here. I kind of nal waved the weather conversation last Friday. It's certainly impacted that Minnesota Chicago game. Scott pointing out we do have this nor Easter headed our way. I can tell you it is permeated even local news. That's how a big a deal. This nor Easter is around here, but Scott wants to know how much does weather play into your decisions for lineups jam. This might be an unpopular opinion. I don't personally think the weather played a huge impact in the Minnesota Chicago game or the Jets and Packers game. The ball was a little wet. The field was a little slippery, but there wasn't heavy wind. Like those were those games because they were those games. They wouldn't have been the same scores without the rain. But I don't think the rain impacted things as much as we retrospectively want to give it credit for. I'm typically of the mind that I'll look at weather on Saturday and you know, when we have more information and then see where things look like they might be issues. But yeah, you can look earlier if you want to. Okay. Yeah, we'll see on what actually transpires. That's why we check in on Sunday. You guys can check out James journal for overnight news Sunday morning. We'll do the cram and we will have much better forecast. Then if we head under 5K jam, I'll just flag a couple that I think are going to get played. Rashad Bateman coming off the big game. If knows they flowers, Devon Bayley continues to put up solid scores. He's here at 4400. Seems like Malik Washington is going to be popular based on some early ownership. Yeah, I mean, relatively speaking. Yeah. What ownership am I seeing for him? I'm seeing like just around 10%. So just like just 10% of rosters think that Malik Washington is what they need for winning an tournament. So yeah, I would guess that's more like projection based ownership, like algorithm stuff and that comes down. But yeah, the him, maybe somebody from Miami, I get it with Caleb Douglas banged up. Yeah, Denzel Boston, you know, he's got this downfield role. We know it's crazy. Brian Thomas Jr. is 4600 and like no one's even talking about it. No one's even like, Hey, like last year they started about it. What 6500? Something like that 6700. We were playing it with that price tag. What a fall. Yeah, all those guys you mentioned and then throw in 80 Mitchell at 4300. I mean, they they will just rip the ball down field him. And in a game where they're probably chasing points against the man, man, heavy lions defense. I like that spot as well. And then Xavier Hutchinson, where like see you.
Ealing doesn't typically show up, but he's certainly capable of putting up a nice game on the target volume that he's seeing. - Just one note on 80 Mitchell is, he seems legitimately questionable right now from what I'm feeling. - Yeah, didn't seem like it was trending super positively. So that's one to keep an eye on. We actually didn't touch on Garrett Wilson. Are you into him as part of that? - Yeah, absolutely. - Game environment, yeah. Yeah, like he has a more of an uphill climb, like a 30 pointer, then say pick ins or who is the other one there that we were saying can go for 30 plus. He has more of an uphill climb than those guys, but he has a higher floor than those guys. And he has a clear shot at that type of game. The 80 Mitchell stuff, I kind of dismissed it because it was a finger and you're a wide receiver, you need your finger, but it was like, that's just a precaution, but a wearing an oven mitt in practice. So if 80 Mitchell's out, I don't know who fills that perimeter role, but I will say Isaiah Williams, last week building with Omar Cooper on IR, and he played a ton of snaps, he had six targets, he had a carry, and it's short area stuff, but like they're gonna try to get the ball in his hands, he's 3,300, he's also a captain, which shocked me, which I noticed when he fumbled two punts, and it was like, really? Isaiah Williams is a captain on the jet. - He said you're no longer a captain on that. - But yeah, like stuff like that stands out to me. I remember Chris Conley being a captain on the chief's teams and some other teams he was on. It's like, you know, these role players that are captains that typically means something, right? He fumbled twice and they kept him in there. So yeah, I think that Isaiah Williams becomes pretty interesting at 80 Mitchell misses at 3,300, just where you're like, he's probably gonna outscore a lot of the 3,300 tight ends at, and you know, get that cheat price tag at Wild Receiver. - Yeah, I think we've hit on most of the relevant spots, I guess, one spot, anything in the San Francisco and Arizona game you do at Wild Receiver. Obviously Evans is banged up, but like Debo, Michael Wilson, is there anything there? - Yeah, I've got a party throwing like around 20 passes to tight ends and Wild Receivers. If he throws about 30 to 31 passes, you get like three or four bleeding out to guys you're not accounting for, and then seven for McCaffrey, and that leaves about 24 of these guys. And so that's like five, six, seven targets per player on Kiddell and whoever's healthy. So on that volume, Kiddell's the one likely is to hit for a tournament winner. So that's where I go is Kiddell. But you could see Mike Evans or, like Debo would have to turn back the clock and have to be poor tackling from Arizona or you'd have to get a couple touchdowns at this point, but any of these guys are capable, but Kiddell's the most likely of this group for sure. - Yeah, and speaking of Kiddell, let's head over here and talk about some tight ends on this slate, on the high end, of course, we do have a tray McBride, he's up to 6,700, Brock Bowers, it seemed like he was maybe trending in the right direction. I did just see a tweet a bit ago that he wasn't seen at the open portion of practice so I don't know what that necessarily means for his availability. And then you have Don Concaid here at 5,500 who has been going completely bonkers in these first two games. What do you like at the high end at tight end? - Yeah, I like, Kiddell, I like McBride, I like Concaid. I'm fine with Bowers too. I was treating that early in the week, like the Zayf Flowers thing where I was like, he's not playing and then it seemed very certain that he was playing. So I hadn't fully wrapped my head around Bowers playing yet, but I do like this New Orleans defense and it kind of just didn't play the, well, we don't need to get into all that. But yeah, it's not the best spot for him to hit for like a tournament winner, but he certainly can. McBride and Kiddell in a game that should be competitive and Kiddell gets these six to eight targets and hopefully hits on them and then McBride trying to respond with his 10, 12 targets, whatever he gets. Concaid and a game that I think the Chargers keep competitive and then yeah, there's separation between those guys and the cheaper guys, the cheaper guys you get into the, hey, maybe they get me 13 to 18 with a spike, to a random spike to something higher than that. So yeah, it's kind of a different group once we get below those guys. - Yeah, and below them, I mean, what guy we have to talk about, absolutely broke the slate last week here. Dalton Schultz goes for 29 points, 14 targets, 140 yards, another week without Niko. You get the poor linebackers here on Indianapolis, is he just gonna do this again? - No. (laughs) You know, you have those weeks where you're like, what a waste that week was, 'cause I had Schultz was the only, I played on 100% of my rosters last week, not that he was low on or a difference maker in that way, but that Jayden Daniel's injury really hurt would have been a good week. Yeah, so, I mean, again, they threw it over 50 times and you know that that's not what they wanna do and that that's gonna be a point of emphasis this week. So I like Schultz, but you know, you're probably looking at more like six to nine targets this week, as opposed to the 14 that he got last week. So I think he's solid, you know, Ferguson hit for whatever, he hit for 20.3 last week. My Ferguson Schultz double tight end rosters going to waste, but yeah, I mean, there's guys down here who can hit, Mark Andrews certainly, in a game like, I like Mark Andrews more this week than last week, because this week you expect them to have to be a little bit more aggressive against Dallas and so there's opportunity for him to hit four touchdowns. That's F-O-R, touchdowns not F-O-U-R. Friar Muth against the Bengals, like nobody ever wants to play Friar Muth, but when he hits it's gonna be in a spot like this. So there are guys down here who can go for 20 points, but you're kind of throwing darts a little bit more. And then honestly like, Joanne Johnson up to, you know, if you like likely, like Joanne up to likely is kind of its own category and then you get below that and you're like crossing your fingers, you're like maybe Gadsden gets me something, maybe Waller gets touchdowns, that sort of thing. So yeah, I hopefully am able to get 3,700 and above at tight end because there's real ceiling there. - One name that's been getting mentioned a decent bit both because people like the game environment and with Mason Taylor out, Eddie Mitchell banged up, any thoughts on Sadeek at 3,500? - Yeah, I don't think, I don't think I can get there because there's not enough like downfield throws. It's kind of more, he missed so much of training camp and I was surprised he's been playing as much as he has, but it's a lot of it's like scheme stuff at the line of scrimmage to get the ball in his hands, which is typically really low upside stuff. And so I mean, we see that five total catches for 38 yards and I don't know what his A dot is, but watching the games, it's a lot of short area stuff and it's like, hey, let's get the ball to Sadeek 'cause he's such an athlete. And that can lead to touchdowns. We saw it in week one with the jet sweep or end around whatever it was. So yeah, they wanna get the ball in his hands. Can you put up like a 20 pointer? That's hard to see. And so there's tight ends just priced above him. They can put up the big games. I'm not gonna be on Sadeek, but I mean, I like the talent and I can certainly see the case. - All right, let's get to the portion of the show that everyone is excited about and I'm particularly excited about because Jam has a new tool to debut here for us, but without further ado, let's build a lineup. (upbeat music) - All right, Jam. You are the captain now with this screen share and even before we get into cascading projections, you're gonna show us something new here at OWS. - Yeah, so first off for any of you watch the show, you get free content on YouTube everywhere and you're like, I don't need a content subscription. That's fine. But we've always wanted the OWS Pete and I were talking about this before the show. Like I've always wanted the OWS to be a place where just DFS players hang out and use tools for free. But we never really built those tools. And so this is something we wanted to build. It took us a couple extra weeks that more than expected to build it, but we have it ready now. It's completely free. So the idea is that if you got an OWS free account that you probably signed up for to get everything free week one, you can just come use this tool as part of your process. And so if we want to talk about let's look at what are the top stacks on the slate. And this is just in terms of what has happened in the past. So we're not saying predictive, we're saying this is telling us what's going to happen moving forward. But this helps us get a sense of what to expect. So we can look at what happens when George Kittle and Brock Perty are in games together. They've got 22 games together. Here's their individual price tags. Here's their combined score that you need for 4X their salary. And here's their hit rate, 36%. Well, that means basically nothing in a vacuum. But as you start going through other available stacks, you're going to see that there's almost no other stacks where a quarterback and a pass catcher have hit for more than 25%. The really good ones are 19%, 15%, 17%. So something like this stands out. Or we want to look over here at-- we're talking about Tyler Schuff and we're talking about Alaba and John Johnson. Well, how big of a stack is this really then? Well, let's look at when Tyler Schuff plays with these guys. They've hit for 4X their salary in 27% of their games, covering three spots on your roster. You can go through individual players and find almost no individual players who have hit for 4X their salary 25% of the time. This covers three spots on your roster, 27% of the time. And then I was using this last week manually to say like, OK, I want to play two Cowboys pieces. So can I play George Pickens and CD-Lam together? And again, I'm going to look at this.
just because they haven't hit doesn't mean that they can't hit together, but it still gives us some valuable information to see Okay, they played 15 games together. They've never hit for Forex or Salary in the same game They've only hit for three x 27% of the time But then if we say well what about George Pickens and Jake Ferguson we get on Jake Ferguson and we see okay These guys have hit for 4x 21% of the time that's pretty crazy and then you throw Ferguson in with Javate you throw Ferguson in with CDLAM you see oh Ferguson hit to these guys like he's not getting hurt from hitting with these guys And so this has been really fun for me to play around with I've just spent hours on this this week tabbing between Cascading projections and the stacks and we've got some other tabs over here too that are really cool that you can mess around with But I want to hang out on the stacks tab today. So Pete We're gonna keep my screen up while we build the roster and then look at the roster on your screen at the end What do we want to look at for potential spots here? Actually, I'll start I'll start with this because if we talk about JSN Right, and this is what I was talking about earlier is people want to play JSN and I actually started this over here in the Cascading projections tab this week and I was like if I want to play JSN and say he hits for a tournament winner What does that actually mean for Darnell's projection? So I'm gonna pin JSN to 36 points and we see that Sam Darnell's projection goes up to 27 that felt weird to me Because like now like it's a concentrated offense. He doesn't really pull up his quarterback like that But then I go over to the stacks and we look at their game logs. You can come down here and you can see here's Darnell's column here's JSN's column JSN scores 34.3 Darnell scores 29.7. We come down here to Here's one of these outliers JSN scores 40 Darnell only scores 17, but here we got 25 for JSN 31.2 for Darnell's here we have 30.2 for JSN. We have 31.6 for Darnell. We start to see like oh, he actually pulls up Darnell more often than you would anticipate JSN's gonna be we could look at Cascading projections to look at the ownership, but JSN's gonna be You know, whatever he's gonna be 15% own Darnell's gonna be 2% owned People are gonna be playing them together and there's edge right there and saying well if I get JSN right I'm probably getting Darnell's right So those are the types of things you want to think about But yeah, where do we want to start on this roster Pete out of the things that we've talked about today? Well, the thing I'm probably most intrigued about that I know that you're also intrigued about would be the charger stuff Can we mess around with with Herbert? Yeah, and so Herbert's actually one of the interesting Where if you put in Herbert and lad and again you got to kind of look through a lot of these to start to get a sense of how these things match up with other Stacks, but they've hit for 4x19% of the time which is up near the top of the quarterback and pass catcher pairings that are available on this slate and if we add Quentin Johnston And gets a little uglier it gets down to 10% But that's still higher than you might anticipate it being I'm gonna take out Quentin Johnston this one and say like Yeah, what if we put in Herbert and lad McConkey we can also I think another question we would be wondering would be What has happened with Amari and Hampton in these games if you're watching this you're like oh, this is a pretty cool tool It's free like my goal is for like you guys just come hang out on the site and use this On AWS, okay, so 11 games gathered these three zero percent of the time if they hit for 4x again Doesn't mean that they can't hit but it just shows us we're climbing uphill to try to get something that hasn't happened before they've hit for 3x one time in 11 games So we're gonna take Amari and Hampton out just think about let's start with Herbert and lad on this roster Yep 5800 for Herbert lad for 5900 I mean the question then goes I I assume obviously you can't play Alan on a Herbert lineup, but you can entertain cook DJ Moore can cade would that be a piece you would want to Yeah, and you can also like I'm gonna put in James Cook right here and we can just look at his Game logs, right? So he across the last three seasons he hit for 4x this week salary 24% of the time You could also bring that down to just last season But it's gonna be a similar rate last season 22% of the time last season. So yeah, I think that James Cook is one of these guys that People aren't completely overlooking him, but that's not how they're thinking about this game playing out because that's not what we've seen lately So this Herbert plus lad plus James Cook is a is a roster that I've built quite a bit of this week All right, let's start with those three guys there that leaves us with 5200 for our remaining spots Do you have another place you would like to look at to continue to build this out? Yeah, so one thing that I thought about this week is McBride and Kittle together which is Technically not correlated, but it kind of is a little bit correlated because you know that these like Titans have this type fraternity these guys are friends off the field and if one of them's Hitting the other one wants to also be hitting for a big game. There was a game last year I think they've only played against each other twice and last year they went for 55 combined points and so We know that Kittle is one of the top point per dollar plays on the slate because he's down at this 4800 price tag coming off the Achilles He's hit for 4x 43% of the time across the last three years and then McBride which that's I think the highest you're going to find on any player on the slate is this Kittle number And then McBride 17% but if we filtered it down to just the games with Jacobi percent then it ends up being much higher So what we can actually do is without How they might not let me do this without Kyler Without Kyler should give us just his games with that's hilarious So 33% of the time he's hit with percent and actually one of these games Preset only played a few snaps. So that would be filtered out if we were putting percent in here it would account for that But yeah, so I think it's four out of 11 games with percent that he's hit for x's salary So like two of the highest hit rates you can find on the entire board and they're kind of correlated in just a narrative fashion And even if they weren't correlated like they work well together, you know So yeah, let's go with McBride and Kittle and see what that leaves us with on this roster Yeah, so that leaves us with 4900 per spot remaining just ballparking it if you have a 3k defense that leaves you with 5600 for a running back in two wide receiver spots there Do you want to put into defense? Is there one you like this week? Yeah, I there's not a defense that I like and I've played around with the bingles Against the Steelers because I think that they're good and I think that the Steelers are not great right now I played around with the Vikings against Baker who hasn't looked great but again it's on the road I know that people are gonna go to Tennessee Like that was something early in the week, but then I was like the James isn't gonna look as bad as he looked right and Tennessee Still doesn't look good. So I'll kind of just hope that that one doesn't work out for people I think the Browns are interesting because what if Hey, what if we don't see the the Bryson that we've seen I think that the bucks are interesting because you know that they're gonna blitz a ton against Kyler so Yeah, nothing that I really love. I guess the cheapest one that I feel Solid about is the bingles and then the next one would be the Vikings And then you're kind of getting up into a range of you know, Houston's right there and all that but Yeah, let's throw in the bingles with the Vikings and then see if we can work around that Yeah, the bangles that gives us 5600 Let's bounce back to running back I would say because we know we're we're not gonna be sub 6k here Yeah, let's actually I want to open up some salary and let's go to Let's assume that 80 Mitchell misses And let's put in Isaiah Williams Get some value Yeah, because we're not going cheap at tight ends. This kind of allows us to say okay We're paying it's also a strategy thing where it's like we're paying up a tight end and we are Therefore saying that like none of the cheap tight ends hit for a big gate because if the cheap tight end goes for 20 There's no need for us to be paying for 25 from McBride And so if we're already placing about the none of the cheap tight ends hit Then we can be like okay, let's hurt those cheap tight end rosters more by hopefully matching them or outscoring them with Isaiah Williams Uh, it actually is a nice little like strategy flow chart to it there Um, oh yeah, J.M. Do you still need uh this screen or should I do you have any uh yeah, we can pull it back now Yeah, let's pull it off and pull up the roster And just to emphasize that again head over to One week season dot com slash stacks and you can get access to that just sign up with the free account And then if you want all the other bells and whistles promo code Pete will get you 20% off all of those OWS inner circle and DFS subs But you can see here we got herber cook and lad We have the double tied end kittle McBride bangles defense Isaiah Williams. This leaves us 6850 here for a running back wide receiver So we'll be able to get two nice plays to round this line about you're not going to believe what's about to happen We're gonna be forced into something that we're gonna be a little uncomfortable with But it's sharp Throw in jimmyer gibs and look at how much salary we have left and what that puts is that at wide receiver Is his name quitt and johnston it's name is quitt and johnston um wow a man that you know, this is where you do uh I guess it's moments later. It was a few minutes earlier. He is basically fancies aviary again. I believe were your words. Yeah, yeah But I built plenty of I built plenty of herbret lad qj rosters this week um Yeah, I mean shoot p that's a pretty good roster um And it like the Isaiah Williams thing feels weird But again, you're telling a very specific story because you end up with these higher priced tight ends Which again tells the story of the cheaper tight ends not hitting and so then Isaiah Williams doesn't need to do as much in order to have value here He just needs to match the cheap tight ends that you've already placed at that on them not hitting so um Yeah, it's actually pretty nice build Yes, uh, I like how this one shook out here and yeah, I mean How did I actually I mean, I know you stop sharing your screen there, but that was did we did you look at qj when we tossed that one in? It wasn't yeah, when you throw a qj qj plus um herbret of hit 19% of the time
I haven't filtered that with games that Lad has missed and then QJ+ Lad+ Herbert have hit 10% of the time, which is somewhat low for a top 3 player stack. Again, you can get Shuck and Joanne and Alabe at over 25% of the time that they've hit together. But most of the time, a sharp 3 player stack has hit 15% to 19% of the time. These guys are down to 10% but still viable. It's not something that's never happened, it's 3 out of 31 games, these 3 have hit together. So yeah, it's viable and if you're betting on another thing that I've thought about here is they had Keenan Allen last year and he's not there. We're not even accounting for the extra targets that are available here for these two guys. So if Lad with Conkey's healthy, I think this is a good spot for the charges to come out and play better and they have to. If they don't, then that means that we're done with chargers pretty much for the season. So yeah, that's where I'm at there. >> Yeah, so you get the pretty classic double stack and a bring back here. But man, this lineup I'm guessing is going to have extremely low ownership based on even just like the combos of players, right? Like Kittle McBride will be incredible. >> Well, that's what I love about that. >> Yeah, number one, yeah. >> Yeah, yeah, well because if they combine for 55, which they did last time they played which doesn't mean that they're going to. It just illustrates that they can if they combine for 55, it's 55 points across two spots that most people aren't getting. So people are getting one or the other of that, but very few people are getting both of those which is why we love these unique combinations is because it just shoots us up the leaderboards. We beat those other Kittle rosters with our McBride, we beat those other McBride, those McBride rosters with our Kittle and yeah, there's a lot of benefit there. And who's playing a Herbert double stack with a James Cook bring back? >> Nobody, just us. >> I could tell, even though the chat Mustys here says let's load up on a broken offense. What could go wrong, LOL, so no, you're going to get this at extremely low ownership here. Yes, chat, people asking what if Lad isn't healthy, you scrapping this. Yeah, we talked about that at the beginning where like the Herbert stuff looking good depends on lab being fully healthy. But he's been practicing in full this week. So that one I'm not concerned about, the 80 Mitchell one is the one I'm concerned about there. So yeah, he has not been getting in full practices here. But yeah, Lad should be good to go. I don't really have concerns about him. Jam, how many, as we wrap up here, how many quarterbacks do you think will be in your kind of tighter player pool this week? >> Five or six, hopefully, like I don't need more than that. But what I'll be cutting out isn't like plays that are clearly inferior to the ones I have, right? Now I have Herbert, I have Shock, I have Purdy, I have Bryce Young, and then Lamar, Ivese plays. Still, like Josh Allen's still in consideration for me. But I probably won't end up there on my tightest builds and try to beat those Josh Allen rosters with something else. But yeah, I mean, I would imagine five or six quarterbacks. But that's just because that's the nature of a tighter pool and not because there's just five or six that are clearly better than the other ones. Yep. All right, Jam, good stuff here. As always, guys, head over to one week season here. Just create that free account and then you can get into all of the stacks tool. And then if you do want to unlock the cascading projections, the player grid, Jam's overnight thoughts, the journal, all of that good stuff, you can sign up for one week season and get 20% off with promo code Pete. Otherwise, Jam, I will see you next week. And I'm sure I'll see you at the top of the leaderboards as well. Looking forward to it, brother. All right, there goes J.M. Let's get ready for bully the Sims with you. All right, you to welcome back to the show. How are we doing today? How did your week two go? It was pretty flat, actually, not much to report on, actually, so. Yeah, are you playing this year like similar volume, similar contests that you have previously? Or are you shaking anything up? No, I'm just doing the same, like all the GPPs, prize pools are always there. Yes, yes, all right, I'm going to get things pulled up here on run. The Sims, but yeah, let's dig into it here. You sent me over a few notes before the top of the show. What did you mean by the head-to-head matchups? No, what were you getting out there? Oh, so I'm talking about, right now, we only have a sample of two, but it can pretty much convey a lot, and because it's all we know, I was suggesting that you should basically read more into what's already happened. And do your best to try to compare-- we already do this anyway when you talk about, oh, they just play like the Sands or something, you just beat the Ravens, right? Or you can use that to evaluate that maybe the Ravens aren't as good as you thought, or the Sands are stronger than you thought, that type of thing. So we do that without really thinking about it, but you can try to use that as another sort of rating system to get you moving quick ground, whatever the priors are, because it's going to be really beneficial to know what's real by week four before everyone agrees on things in week seven. So almost like it's more of a risk to under-react than it is to over-react? Right. Or it's sort of like most people are going to do nothing, or just be somewhere neutral. So you don't-- it's almost a situation where you might benefit more from double counting something. Gotcha. Would Carolina be an example of that? It's like, you know, what do we say? I can't have anything in mind when I said that. It's just stuff. You haven't given too much thought to it, but from a Carolina standpoint, they got shredded by the Bears, and then they had a little weather game last week. No, no, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no made the playoffs. You got your cooker breakout. There's a lot of, there's a lot of like good things going on the pass rates sort of higher than expected. Yeah, you can sort of just buy into them just being good. People are already going to be on to that but it doesn't really hurt to take it a step further. Yeah, and I mean, I'm like looking at ownership stuff. I mean, Bryce showing you guys have it at 4% cooker at 6, tetoriot 10. Like none of that seems crazy to me. So it might be one more week to get it before everybody really buys into it. Yeah, that was the other macro thing I wanted to get to anyway where I think this week the pricing is tight. Where you had Pajon play yesterday and the bangles guys are in like a tougher spot. JSN a little unclear. The Niners, I don't think I think they're just like price a little difficult more difficult. So you really can like only easily spend up and feel happy about your projection at like Gibbs and then there's no, there's no real cheap spot where it's, it helps you along the way. So it's going to make pricing a little tighter and that actually makes the ownerships and like stacks flatter because it's not clear where people are going to go. A lot of the time when it's like this you actually want to stack more aggressively get more correlation going because like the value, you have little, you don't really have as much to gain on a value basis by like being more exploitative and actually it would refer to it as a ball mower slate. Okay. There he doesn't, there's not as much to be gained in the game theory. Yeah and like looking at ownership projections right now too. I mean it seems like Gibbs and Walker are going to be the main guys over 20% Parker Washington at wide receiver. We'll see how Jaylen Warren Q10 is out with the Rico but like nothing separating like we have in weeks past. So definitely tracks with what you're seeing there with flat ownership. Yeah and I don't, that's not actually better for me either. I'd rather there be game theory is it's more like a, this is like a phone shit or slate. They can have their more life. Wait so you could be on the, you can be the phone shitter bro but you also need to be a ball nower bro though so there is that extra qualifier at least. Yeah but no matter what the game theory is a little tougher. Yeah tougher to gain from it. Well it so it does it sounds like it might be you know getting into potentially a favorite game here of yours or if you were to stack one up maybe more aggressively. What do you like in? I do have a favorite game and it would be the Baltimore Dallas
There's a little uncertainty behind it. It's not even easy to get to Lamar. So that in itself makes it rare because the other highest total clearly the highest shoot-up potential in it. We're not even sure if it's top three in ownership. >> Yeah, I don't think it will be because I think all of the premium pieces are pretty expensive. Nosey flowers, I think it's going to be Bateman and Andrews who catch some ownership and nothing else in this game really being that. >> In the last 15 minutes we got a flower's update that he's practicing. I don't really know, I wouldn't read too much into it. But at least from that, it's a little more live that he could play. >> Yeah, he could play for real. The traveling and traveling was notable enough. But again, it could be sort of a siop, but from our perspective, if it's a true questionable, it's either becomes a ownership, like a low ownership opportunity and taking him or just like a late swap rep. And it's easy to pivot anyway. And that game was like the pick and CD Lamar. They're all priced pretty high and you can easily switch off to whoever from if you have flowers. >> Any thoughts on just the overall game environment stuff you obviously have. The travel, we've seen these international games under well. >> You actually missed a lot just like by being on stream. There was another report on the field conditions where it says like little slippery, like they're a little uncertain about like how can hold up. But my read on that's actually more likely to be good for offense if it's actually a little hard with the footing. >> Yeah, just getting some more big plays. >> Yeah, just because they know where they're going and the other side has to react. >> So let's work under the assumption that Jay does go because that's obviously what makes this game way more fun to discuss. What would be your favorite angles for it with everybody kind of priced up? >> Just anything because they're not too own. But like I really do want him because he's like the vertical unlock. You saw how like they didn't really have the spacing element. Nope, like way less big play without him. So it's still contingent on that and I think the like Ronnie Stanley too would be impactful. But just have to work with what you have. But at least compared to the other games, it's not as though this week has like a great competitor in terms of one that you feel pretty strongly about. >> Yeah. How many how many pieces do you think you realistically could have because even now, let's say Zay goes that kind of makes even the Bateman stuff at 4700 not look good. Like it is really expensive to make this work. Would this be like a skinny stack and a single bring back and then you kind of got to get in and get out? >> Not necessarily it's the whole rash reasoning behind what's making it difficult is what makes it good. And it's not sort of like just taking a Josh Allen because he's Josh Allen and like bringing someone along it because they're very low on. There's real potential to get a big number out of truly stacking the game. >> Yeah. And then you just have to be really comfortable with some maybe grosser punt plays to make it work. >> Right, but that's the thing all the punt plays are kind of gross anyway. So you're not you're not costing yourself too much. I think the puns are going to be like, I don't even know. >> Yeah, I mean we were talking about Isaiah Williams if 80 Mitchell somehow doesn't go. We always have some cheap tight ends which is kind of actually nice in this game because the tight ends I don't know how you feel about Andrews but Andrews Ferguson they don't seem like the key components to making this work so you could get value at tight end elsewhere. >> Right, well I'm sure you're going to have plenty of Andrews for example if you're stacking this game. He'll actually be owned which is totally fair. Yeah, puns are going to be like, it might even be like defense, it'd be like tight ends defense. That'll be incredibly owned. >> Yep, yep, verse Winston, that one for sure. There, as far as on the Dallas side, obviously CD coming off of the big game, Pickens kind of a by-low guy, Javante, I don't know, May at 6700, what do you like on Dallas side? >> It's good too. It's not too owned. I just feel like the it's hard to explain like the vibes coming out of the Baltimore side feel a little better at the moment but there's no real reason for me to be feeling that way actually. >> Well, we trust your interpretation of the vibes here. We got a question from Brady in the chat. He needs to know one thing, Yuta, even when it's optimal, do you hate double tight end rosters? Are you pro double tight end rosters? >> No, it's just whatever the one when you are being more driven to double tight end others are as well so it's still like trying to figure out and being flexible, like just because you start double tight end doesn't mean you're you're ending on that either. >> Yeah, let's talk about Kansas City. The chat's been asking about Kansas City talk. We didn't do a ton of it with JM. You mentioned you might have some angles here. I do think Kenneth Walker is going to be extremely popular at 7400. What are you seeing here? I think if there's a one that becomes popular, it's chiefs, the homes, but that's how starving you are with the the the cheap value side because the home is too expensive and yeah, it's actually an indicator of like how how desperate people are to like find value is that Caleb Douglas being out is going to raise the homes ownership because Malik Washington gets a little bump in like a chain gets new. Like it's actually enough to maybe raise Caleb Washington out is going to raise my homes maybe 2% in ownership. It's because Kelsey's cheap too, like where these fairly cheap rice is like fair. So it once you have a sort of several pieces like that and then Walker was going to be chalked anyway, once you have a few pieces like that, it becomes naturally just more stackable from the projection side. And am I are you more are you interested in that chalk or are you more skeptical of it? More skeptical. But most not because I don't buy into the value, it's well one part of it is that running that gives a portion of it. So they can just siphon those points a lot of the time. Like at the moment Kenneth Walker is really the offense. It is running through him. So it's not one of those situations where it's like either Walker gets there or my homes gets there. At the same time, it's just Kansas City is drafting really well on defense and like they're more of a defensive team and Walker's team right now. So like they're they're drafting so well that they're defensive class could sort of pay off like in a way where the Eagles did a few years ago, right? With like Bassa, Noel Williams, even their rookies, we don't know like the lane and well I'm pretty sure Peter Woods is good. So basically defense is so good that like I don't really want to get too exposed to Casey like we don't even know how good they are and so if they're better than we think my homes does even less than we then he has to and in that case they already know they're playing for January February. So you know week three in Miami is not a big deal. Would you ever pay up for Casey DST is the way that like the chalk craters here and you benefit from that? Definitely if you're taking like Walker and Casey you're probably not taking my homes. But yeah I mean it's also there is going to be just ownership of being driven a little bit in that direction so I don't I believe the I believe the projection but I don't need to. Yeah I'm not sure the payout is as good as other other spots. Why we're talking chalk thoughts on Parker Washington 6k I do expect him to be the most popular wide receiver play on the slate here good chalk or bad chalk Parker Washington. I think it's okay I already I always get this type of guy wrong anyway where they're not athletic and PPR they dot stuff like Saint Brown I was late cup I was late so I'm probably going to be late. Yeah I believe it just just like learning from mistakes I think I'm more open to like him being real and that type of profile succeeding in the NFL more easily than it has before so I'm not going to say like he can't produce I think it's I just think it's fair like I don't really have a huge take. If New England can do anything it's like they they can cover it they can't really rush so from that standpoint you don't really need the guy who's like short area of witness like he is because you're more likely to have a bit of time and they can actually cover so even in the slot they can cover. Yeah yeah there isn't honestly a ton other chalk to to even discuss right now. Any other
game environments that jump out to you other than Baltimore and Dallas? Uh, Jets, I just talk about the Jets every week, so I'll just bring them up shortly or briefly just. No. People are excited to talk to me this week. They covered by the way. Yes. They did blow it though. Um, no, it's not like I feel more confident about their offense. The, the online stuff is more real and like the defense is probably better than we think since they've, they've held down Detroit to an extent or within play, no, they're playing Detroit. They held down, um, uh, what was it? The Titans it very easily and then, uh, Packers for a good portion of the game. So, uh, from what it looks like, it's just like the past archers better than we thought, and I think at least it can control and run. So again, it's not really great for fantasy, but, um, 80 Mitchell at least from I test seems more viable and has like a real role. So if you were to go there, you can get more diverse and deeper into a Jets stack than just Geno Hall and Wilson, but the, the, the various statuses there. Yeah. We've been talking about that today and then, you know, if 80 weren't to play, can you get into an Isaiah Williams or Kenyan Sedeek? Probably not. Maybe, maybe Sedeek because the role could expand in a way where it becomes appealing, which, if you don't have much in my Azul take a stab at it, also like, from that athletic standpoint, he is probably closer to 80 Mitchell, even though he's a tight end than Isaiah Williams. Yep. I guess being pro Jets here isn't necessarily like buying their pieces. It could even mean maybe passing up on some Detroit side things because we're talking about defense being real, run game being able to run, you know, Detroit changed some coaching, had some coaching changes, and they're playing more like shell type coverages is here. So that's sort of allowing teams to be able to run on the more that type of thing. Which I think is an important note because people are getting excited about this game. This is the one I've seen talked about the most because you have Detroit coming off of the loss at home extra time. Like people kind of expecting them to pour it on. And then can you get concentrated Jets points and come back mode, but sounding like you might be more skeptical of that kind of narrative? Yeah, I mean, in order to pour it on, you need to be able to be in a position where the other team is in competitive and kind of is going through the motions at the end of the game. Which you do see from Detroit plenty of the time, but also they've been in positions where they would onslaught a lot of time that's like more of a Ben Johnson thing even. Yeah. So it sounds like for you on the Detroit side, I mean, Gibbs, Aminrod, Jamal, LaPorta. You don't think you'll have too much of them or big lion stacks? Probably not. I'll definitely go there in like one off place, like it's probably impossible to actually fade Gibbs, yeah, I'd probably be like underweight on like the same brown. Yeah. The Peter asking about Raider's Saints, you were all over the Saints upset last week and how concentrated that offense was. What do you think about this spot for them at home versus the Raiders? I'm definitely going to be into Saints overall for just from a macro perspective. They're kind of like the jets to me and that I kind of buy into what they're doing more. Also the defense has been objectively good. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's great for stacking. And also because of the pricing being tight, it's actually going to happen to the Saints too. Just not as stark as like what might happen to the Chiefs because of Caleb Douglas. But naturally, the Saints are still kind of cheap and kind of cheap is just good enough, already good enough for you to want to stack this week, especially shock, right? Because it's not like a lobby is cheap, but shock, Velae, Johan Johnson are pretty cheap. Yep. Shock 5,400, Velae 4,400, Johan Johnson 37, 100 there. I mean, you mentioned earlier that maybe a slate to get into stacks a little bit more. Are there any other spots here, whether because of the pricing or the game environment that you could see yourself, you know, double triple stacking? Yeah, not in particular actually, just the idea of being open to it is enough because you're not costing yourself as many points in the projection and even the sort of the one off plays that are going to be higher on. I don't think as though like you're going to be terribly scared of Parker Washington blowing up in a slate, but you know, they said that he's pretty likely hey, hey, hey, that's, you know, I am the thumbnail on yesterday's show is just Parker Washington, just throwing my face into the ground. So I have I've been there on the the wrong side of the Parker Washington wars here so far through two weeks. But let's run some lineups here on run the Sims. I'm on the Sim Runner here, you guys can always get 20% off your first payment at run the Sims with promo code Pete. So if you do sign up for that annual sub, you get 20% off of that. If it's monthly, 20% off that first month, we were actually talking about all the work brick has been doing on the on the site yesterday on yesterday's episode of Lowles, but we're going to run this 1000 lineups, a smaller field size here, 1000 and we can see if anything interesting bubbles up to the top here. Has anyone been talking about the Tampa Vikings as we not not really not really I'm curious your thoughts on on Kyler back in the offense and what that could look like? Yeah. I'm just looking at that just the uncertainty of Kyler might be appealing if people are buying in. I think all of those guys are going to go overlooked. I mean, Jones was banged up, but we just got news that Aaron Jones is going to be available. You know, everybody's kind of moved on to JSN and Lam and Chase over Jefferson. Yeah, I haven't heard a ton of steam coming on that on that spot at all. I know people definitely don't want Tampa, they definitely don't want Baker right now. Yes. The variance of Vikings D and then the variance of Kyler, I think that's probably good. Yeah. I like that as well. Well, here you go, right off the rip here, we see a Lamar Jackson triple stack. I'm going to guess. I don't know who that guy is. The John Tay western Davis is the show about him. Yeah. Which is interesting because we just check the inputs. I'm pretty sure to do we have Zayn. Let's go see if Zayn is really. I would say no, you don't have Zayn because the John Tay Webster is on the team. Yeah. So that would be that'd be a spot here where it would make sense why it would be jamming in these guys without Zay. Right. Yeah, we'll go back through and we can have some skepticism there. You do see some big my homes, stacks here popping in the top lineups over 100% ROI potentially. Anything else? Catch your eye up here at the top? Just I guess Baker because I just brought it up and that's like a pretty aggressive stack as well. Yeah. Yeah. Godwin, Kate. Like the, you mentioned the Viking side, do you mind the Baker side? Obviously, the box had been looking pretty rough lately. Yes. I'm pretty sure I would like that because he's cheap and no one's taking him. But yeah, it's not going to feel good. And Kate Oton probably makes sense because it's hard to pay up for those receivers right now with how they've been performing overall in offense. You mentioned like kind of the overstacking angles. You do see a golf one here, golf, Almond, Rod, Jamo, and LaPorta as far as like what you have to do to make that work like you to suggested. You're probably going to have to play the Titans and then there's one like Uber pump play. You see Brennan Thompson in this lineup. But otherwise, you can still get in Chase Brown, Jonathan Taylor, Roshie, so it's not impossible to get a premium, you know. That's reason why you guys can have a bad game sometimes and they could still do stuff. Yeah. As a note, I think with, if Titans do actually that popular, I think that's a rain game. So they don't necessarily come with opportunity. Like if the total is kind of muted from weather stuff, it, from like rain, a lot of the time that kind of just means you run more, which you want more dropbacks for defense, at least outside. So you know, the giants might be less likely to score, retouch down to something, but they're also less likely to throw a bunch of interceptions.
Yeah, I did just pull up Kevin Roth's site here despite all of the Noreaster talk It really is that Tennessee New York Giants game. Oh, no. What's that? Oh, no Yeah, yeah Six eighty seven more interested in Giants just You're playing the same game same Unfavorable conditions, but you know three percent said they're 20 30% Yeah You are seeing a few Josh Allen teams here. We didn't get to talk about Him with you. I mean, he's obviously expensive at 8k, but absolutely crushing Is that a spot you want to chase or you think and you maybe swing over to a James Cook or another way to play it? I think you want to go. It kind of just depends It's like with the struggles of LA. I think they're just all in. I'm just trying to win a game Which isn't always great for Offensive environment because if it's just close they're gonna play a little more nitty Like they're gonna just run and like we're in a game. We might we might beat the bills. They would naturally just slow down So you're relying on Josh Allen to Just like scored 28 and a quarter by and a half by himself Which is reasonable, but I it's not like it's there's more of an opportunity this week I think than other weeks and it's It's still difficult to stack it's good to see Concade sort of break out like that though For sure. Yeah, and he is in two of these three Josh Allen lineups here Just scrolling down. You're seeing a lot of Josh Allen a lot of my homes, but Still a decent amount of you know random quarterbacks. I mean one team. We haven't we basically not at all talk today about this Houston and Indianapolis game. You do see a Daniel Jones line up up here with keen and Josh Downs and Tyler Warren any thoughts on that? divisional game That it's just kind of likely to be a more of a war and Houston also coming off of a tough loss. I would think in cults with how they play as well It's kind of hard to see fireworks. What's the Collins status? He's he's doubtful. Okay. Yeah, it's hard to like see it play quickly But you could get there on efficiency, but I just don't really see it go like 55 total Yeah, yep, I could see that game underwhelming It does seem like Josh Downs looked kind of interesting to me just with how great his His role has been, but yeah hard to see that game Yeah, like one off the efficiency stuff, you know, maybe Someone someone can have a really good game. I'm just not sure about the whole environment. Yep Down here you do see our first Geno lineup. It's a Geno Garrett Wilson Isaiah Williams, so going cheap there and you can get in Chase Brown, Jonathan Taylor, Amen Rock Speaking of Chase Brown, that's another spot. We haven't really talked about much today The bangles in Steelers. Do you have any notes or thoughts on that? Well in the smaller sample Steelers have been pretty leaky on defensive end. I'm pretty curious about the Joey Porter status I don't really know what's going on over there, but since the bangles have that two-headed receiving monster Pit can kind of match up with in theory with Jamel Dean and Joey Porter if he is available otherwise Cincinnati can kind of bum-hunt at least in man coverage Choose who they want to go after So I like bangles, especially if no border, but that's more of like like a sports betting aspect rather than a DFS Yeah Do you have a on the sports betting front any other spots you like it sounds like you might lean like jets to cover Yeah, it was just off the top. It's just that and jets Yep, okay, all right. I think possibly Titan is just because the total solo It's so sort of harder to like I Mean, I know it's probably only two and a half, but a lot of times that game is probably Giants by one, you know Giants by two Yeah 38.5 total Giants two and a half point home favorites jets are You're getting plus six and a half right now. It's floppy anyway, and the QB plays isn't gonna be good So you might as well just go to underdog Yeah For sure yet I wonder two of the defense stuff you mentioned that a bunch of people are probably gonna be playing Titans defense I mean playing Giants defense also seems like a good pivot, although they're you know much more expensive Yeah, I just yeah, I said that like five minutes ago. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the the 3,400 there. Yeah, no one's taking Giants No All right, you to good stuff any any other takes that you didn't get off your your chest here Oh, it's all got All right, great stuff make sure you guys are checking out run the Sims like I said you can get 20% off that first payment with promo code Pete in addition to the Sim Runner all kinds of tools over there They have the classic optimizer the prop sniper all kinds of stuff even survivor there if you guys are playing that Good talking to you as always you done. We will see you same place same time next week All right, peace. Okay, now it is time For me to do a little refresher over here. It is time for two hats one solver with one mr Michael Leoni welcome back to the program. How are we doing good? I'm having some headphones issues, so let me know if you hear an echo or anything No, I got you loud and clear right now by next week We will have our own little intro music here for two hats one solver. We are working hard behind the scenes on that Don't you worry? But yeah, man excited to talk I was also excited to see the return of the by Leoni model this week. It's back Yeah, it's back and I was able to make some improvements to it this offseason So I'm excited for that. It should do a little bit better than it did the last couple of years Which was still pretty good. So I was pretty happy with it How do you use it? I mean, we I remember like when Hermsmeyer first had his air yards by low model on the site Like we were pre Sims era DFS and you know a lot of hand-building or locking things in the optimizer with those guys Was kind of a fun way to approach it But now like you know the Sims incorporate a lot of those elements of a projection low ownership So how do you use the the by Leoni right like theoretically you don't need a by Leoni if the projections are just perfect and you just use The projections that are better, but I do think sometimes there might be an element that we don't a hundred percent capture in projections that Maybe the by Leoni's able to capture so it helps me break ties Especially if I'm looking for lower ownership plays that maybe haven't had the production The first guy on it who has played this year was Matthew Goldman, so we're off to a good start Yeah, I mean in that one - not saying that that was a layup because nothing is a layup with the packers right now But I mean his role has been so good. It's been so concentrated then you lose Jane Reed So it was nice to to see both him in Christian Watson finally have a good game last night But there are some guys on the list this week that are not as comfy as golden probably was so We'll see how those do yeah You guys can check that out on ETR. What we do for this show here with Leoni is we like to focus a little bit on Fandall obviously both Mike and I do an a ton of draft King stuff Both on this show and in other spots So we like to focus on Fandall for this one and we like to get some suggestions from you guys in the chat on Some specific stacks or game environments even players combos Whatever you are feeling inspired by and then we can test that in the solver See what stuff you know the Sims are liking and what it isn't liking and I know last week We were talking about some bone X and Jalen waddle stuff and then that ended up being your flag plant and the waddle stuff ended up Turning out pretty damn good last week. Yeah, it did I came up just short for me where I just needed like one more touchdown from Next waddle got tackled at the one on a possession I don't think they scored but still a huge day for Fandall 8 for 138 with their scoring over there But Nick's unfortunately didn't come through Parker Washington got tackled at the one so that that was what we tested last week Was really close to hitting in a pretty big way and there was a lot of chalk value early. So it was set up pretty nicely still did okay with it, but Well short of a really contending One thing I'm going to do so last week we just kind of dove right into the Suggestions this time I want to get just like a little bit of a baseline as far as what stuff is Just popping and then we can maybe drill down into some more contrarian stuff So Mike I just ran a thousand lineups just with any double stack quarterback with a running back wide receiver and tight end No bring back and just seeing initially here on Fandall kind of what quarterback and team stacks are looking good here Yeah, we talked about last week Probably earlier in the week you're going to get the chalk stuff Simming a little bit better than will end of the week when we get the ownership dialed in But last week the deck stuff actually persisted to swimming well to the end along with the next stuff. So that's
where I wound up. And I like that you're getting us a baseline because yeah, especially in these large field contests where a lot of things are going to sim positive ROI, you want to know like where it stands relative to other good lineups. Yeah, so I ran it here and I did, I picked three different contests here, the $15 Sunday million, which has a hundred and 19,000 entries and you are seeing some sim ROI's here north of 300% including a Trevor Lawrence to Parker Washington in a name, nobody will want to hear Jacobi Myers. There is a Dak Prescott up here to CDLAM and Pickens. And then if you change this to say the 222 60K Sunday fade, I'm going to be playing in that this Sunday with only 300 entries, you do see the sim ROI really drop down here. I believe I might have asked you about that on week one, but for me and everyone else, why do you see such a drastic drop in sim ROI from large to small field? It's two things. One, the field lineups are generally more competitive in the smaller field lineups, so you're competing against Tucker lineups. That's the first thing. The second thing is the ROI's in like the Sunday milli where you have this massive first place prize out of a hundred and 19,000. It's just admittedly like a little bit more variant, you know, we're not going to be perfect. So if a team wins, you know, one time in the sims or two times, it can completely skew the ROI a little bit. We try to do some stuff to handle that as well as possible, but ultimately that's what you're going to get. And you can see the quarterbacks are pretty different because you did some of those solo wins with a Jacobi Myers team that no one's going to play. Now here we are in a smaller field and the Lamar stuff is just simming incredibly. Yeah, that is a huge difference from the large field. It's like you have a smattering, you have Lawrence, you have Shock, you have Drake May, you have Kyler, you have Gino, then you had down here to the 300 entry and it's all premium quarterbacks. It's Lamar, Allen, Mahomes. That's basically it in these top 20 lineups and it does look like maybe even some bigger snack stacks sneaking in here as well. If you go in the mid-range, so a 5,000 entry, you are seeing the ROI's. It's basically a middling of the two here where you kind of fall in between, but you still see this Trevor Lawrence lineup look pretty good even in a 5K contest. Yeah and the, it's fun and fandal being able to play the premium QB. Sometimes on drag kings, it's like pretty tough to make that work. So we're getting not just one premium QB, but Lamar, Josh stuff, Mahomes stuff, all somewhat viable. The chat asking about some Baltimore stuff. Right now you guys have Z out, correct? We have Z out. So that's part of the reason why the Lamar stuff seeming well, because you have two really strong pass catcher values in Andrews and Bateman. If Z is out, and I, I am, I feel like that's greater than 50/50. He's going to be out. We'll see. We do have the ownership reflecting that to an extent. We have Andrews about 20% own and Bateman about 17% own, but it's possible. It comes up more. I've been struggling with Lamar projection all week. Honestly, like the props market is even higher than we are on Lamar right now. He's still semi-incredibly. The efficiency for him is just, on one hand, Z flowers is out. So you're like, oh, we got to ding the efficiency on the other hand. He's just been so incredible through two weeks, and I know Thormin was tweeting out some stats about Vic Fangio defenses, and that being the Dallas defense being in that tree. I do want to just point out one interesting thing. So I just saved the top 5% line-ups for the Sunday million, and it was 51. Then I went to save the top 5% for the 300-entry contest, thinking like, oh, there'll be some overlap, and maybe, however many less will be saved, it was 99 line-ups. So almost all of the top 5% were different. I'm guessing. So what, maybe like one overlapping? One duplicate. One duplicate. That's what's great about being able to send the multiple contests at one time, though, is that you can save like this as opposed to having to jump back and resum in a new contest and then save 5% again. Yeah, so if you guys are watching on screen, I'm doing quick select, and then I selected top 5% by ROI. Once you do that, you can scroll down, and you can see where it cuts off, and it's not going to save any below that, and then you can hit save. And now over on my my line-ups, there was a little more duplication there, but still another like 23 unique ones. And so now I have a pool of 124 line-ups, and we can go back to the optimizer, take a suggestion here for maybe a more off-the-board stack, and then see how that compares to our saved line-ups there. Someone wanted, let's see, my guy Jason wants some bangles or saints. That could be fun here. I feel like Burrow really not getting talked about a lot on this slate, at least from what I've consumed so far this week. Shuck, a little more intriguing in that game. Do you have any notes on these two as I set up some rules to run some of these stacks? Yeah, the Burrow projection probably looks light to the naked eye. I know Adam flagged that for us. We might come up, but man, I mean, their team total is not that high in the 3.5 point favorites. So like this isn't the same bangles. We've had the past few years where they're in these shootouts with high totals on both sides, especially against this Pittsburgh offense that's been struggling mightily, and you know, with Dexter Lawrence there and some other additions, the bangles defense has been really good. So it's just a little bit of a different bangles team, even though we have them positive pass rate over expectation by a good bit. I don't know if we're getting these up tempo, crazy pass rate Burrow games that we've gotten in the past. Now obviously Pittsburgh could come out getting really lead, and then that's what you want. And it's not like Burrow can't put up a good performance playing from ahead, but it's just that people I think do have to adjust to have been a different dynamic than it's been in the past few seasons. And I do have the same rule on here where I am going to force a double stack, which I do think makes sense with Shuck in Burrow, right? I mean, I'm sure there's maybe some pricing slates where you would want to maybe just do a Burrow single. Maybe this is still a spot. Do you have any thoughts on that with the pricing on the bangles pieces? So with the bangles all projecting kind of like okay values, but not great. I do wonder if the Sims would prefer hoping you kind of run into the correct skinny stack as opposed, you know, just because there's a little bit less juice on the stack to begin with, that's just my hypothesis. I haven't tested that yet. So I do think you're worth running some skinnies with Burrow. Also, I don't know if you included running back, but I think it looks like you did. We're getting some chase brown, but I think Chase Brown, who is down the Bialione, is actually the piece that projects as the best value I'm fan dual right now and not a ton of ownership on him. Yeah, let's see what this looks like. Yeah, guessing you will get a decent amount of Chase Brown here. So the shock ones clearing the burrow at least at the high end, but still a decent amount of burrows here in the top 10. Let's look at this top line up here. I like this one because you have the shock, Veyley, Jawan Johnson, and then you play both of the concentrated Jets pieces, Breeze Hall, Garrett Wilson, a relatively low ownership, and then you're just jamming in Kenneth Walker, Derek Henry, Teterua McMillan, kind of a more probably off the board play and then of course the Titans defense there, but pretty low ownership on this one. Yeah, and that's what you're going to see in the millemaker where you got to beat so many teams as you're going to need to hit on some low ownership. Notably, you know, Jimi or Gibbs isn't in there who's going to be really chalky. Right now, we have Walker is chalky, but I think playing Walker and Gibbs together might be tough salary-wise and just tough the combination of salary and ownership in some of the large field contests. We have just an outrageous projection on Gibbs right now, so it might be one of the highest ones. We've had probably we've had CMC up there before, but it's huge. And you see most of these I think are probably going to be one or the other right now, especially in the large field tournament. This second lineup does have Gibbs in it. This one looks pretty clean to me too. Shuck, double the Vela and Johnson. You get Gibbs, James Cook, Garrett Wilson, Parker Washington, Chuba in Titans D. At least from the I test. I don't have any like plays there that make me feel uncomfortable. No, I know he's not low-owned at 15%, but I do like James Cook a lot this week. They got him to touch down late because he had, you know, come so close a few times in the game last week, but he's only has one touchdown through two weeks. He's got multiple touchdown upside of people are less into him just because the offense does operate differently this year, but I still think the multiple touchdown upside hasn't gone away. And I could see people maybe shine away from Cook a bit more than they would have in this spot in the past. No, I think I think you're completely right. And it's just like you go look at it, see Josh Allen coming off of back-to-back games with two rushing touchdowns. And we know like that can swing back to James Cook pretty easily. And all of a sudden, you know, Josh Allen scoring 27 points instead of 40. And James Cook is the one going for 28, 29 points. And he's the one you need. So yeah, I like the James Cook call a lot. J.M. and I put him in the lineup we built earlier. Let's toggle this over to the smaller field just to see how this changes. You do see the burrow team come to the top. And it is this premium double here for Joe Burrow in this 300 entry contest burrow chase and Higgins. It also has Gibbs.
Jalen Warren is the bring back, Bateman, Kelsey, Aaron Jones, Titans D. Warren's an interesting one, Leonie, because it looked like his ownership was gonna be a runaway train. He does have the Q tag, which I think is keeping it in check a little bit. Obviously a bit more of a DK play with the past catching stuff, but you do see him here as well. - Yeah, he's our third best value on Fandall, but that position is so stacked once again this week that he's got a good bit of coverage and there's gonna be a lot of teams that don't necessarily need his salary cap relief. So I do think he probably comes up a little from what we have it. I'm guessing the burrow stuff seems better in the small field, just the correlations being a little bit tighter and stronger like when it hits. It's a little bit more clear. Not that, I mean, Chuck and Alava is pretty clear, but between Jalen and Valle, that could vary a little bit more. - And it just makes intuitive sense to me in the big field. You're unlikely to get 30, obviously, from both Chase and Higgins, and so it's not gonna like that as much 'cause you gotta hit the nuts for first place, but in 300 entry, if Chase goes for 35 and Higgins goes for 15, you can easily still win a tournament with just capturing all of those points or obviously vice versa as well. So just a little bit wider of a moat there, even with those negatively correlated guys. - And we do see basically 100% Gibbs once we've moved to the small field, where the Sims are saying it's not worth it. One thing that might be interesting to try to show people, if we go back and we adjust the Sim ownership up and then redo the small field, sometimes I'll do that. If I think it's clear one way, so there should be a column for Sim ownership. - Yeah, let me, let me-- I know these columns are tightly packed. - Sim own here, yeah. - Sim own, so you could like double click Gibbs and then rerun these lineups in that same field and he's gonna be, not in the same field in the same contest and you'll see his ownership start to pull away from kind of Walker a little bit more and it'll be interesting to see if the Sims still like him. So sometimes I'll do this to just really test the error bars on the ownership because obviously our stuff's not perfect. So I wanna know like, well, if everyone's just like I'm playing Gibbs no matter what, and he comes in at 55%, like is it still good to play or not and this will help you figure that out. - And that's a really good note, at least on Draft King's last week, right? Bigeon and Derek Henry came in much higher than there. I mean like, Bigeon was nearly 50% in the Millie Maker where there is that like the concentration. And generally we see that right more in small field, where the top plays get owned more, but it was even happening in large field last week. - Yeah, so let's go to the 222 and then once we're there, so we still get all Gibbs, but if there's one none gives team a little bit further down now. But if you click on one of the teams and you'll see the Sim ownership will be likely, yeah, you'll see exactly 58%. - So that's a crazy thing there. So he was first in like 100% of what? The top 10% Sim ROI teams. We boost his ownership like literally 20% and he's still in 95% of these top teams. - Yeah, which is the strength that, I mean we have him like five points clear and raw of any running back, seven points clear and ceiling, even adjusting for salary. He's probably someone that should be about 10K this week. I know there were times in the past on Fando, we got like 10K Jonathan Taylor and whatnot. He should be 10K plus really. So that will be interesting. There is a team that burrow cook war in team. - Yeah. - There is one that doesn't at him or Walker, which is obviously a risk for a small field, but. - Yes, and then it does get you on. You still eat the Parker Washington, Choc, Mark Andrews, Aaron Jones. The Aaron Jones ones interesting like it must be a price thing at least or I don't know how much of this early in the week is Algo driven, but I just don't I get the vibe that nobody wants to play Aaron Jones this week. - Yeah, I think his ownership will come down a little bit with him questionable. The difficult, I can't imagine him getting loaded up with carries two weeks in a row with him playing through injury. And then on the other hand, they just, they have no death at the running back position whatsoever. And you know, how many carries are we giving to Clayborn and DJ Dallas last week, you know, they just went to Jones over and over and over again. So it's warring sides and figuring out the Aaron Jones projection. - For sure. Quick reminder, guys, we are using the Solver Optimizer in SIM tool here. You guys can get $10 off your subscription there to the Solver Optimizer or Simulator Lab. That's promo code P10, P-E-T-E-1, $0, $10 off. I have the link in the show notes in the description. In addition, if you guys are YouTube members, you have access to that fan dual free role. So the lineups were testing for that 300 person field that's pretty similar to what our free role contest has been. And I posted that link in the chat and I will post it in the show notes as well. And I'll be reviewing the fan dual lineups every Monday morning on the portfolio review. Let's get a few more suggestions in the chat for some stacks, players, combos you'd like us to test. And in the meantime, Brady wants to know, Leonie, do you have any love for Judkins against this Carolina D? Definitely more of a fan dual play, so a good one to discuss here. Yeah, I do have some love for Judkins. With Samson out, the targets were up last week. He has absolutely dominated the goal line carries as we would expect. Carolina really blood points to the running back position each of the last two years. I think this is a, this is about as good a spot as you're going to get on Judkins and price tag. The most difficult part is just, I mean, the running back position is insane this year. So you have a lot of opportunity cost. He does work though in the sense that those elite quarterbacks that we talked about, right? Like if you want to get those elite quarterbacks in with a three running back build, then having someone like Judkins instead of playing like a chalkier Aaron Jones in the same lineup makes sense. Right now, we have you sacrificing about a point and a half to drop down from Aaron Jones to Judkins, but yeah, the hard part on Judkins is man, the efficiency on him has just been so brutal. Like I know he came out of the gates hot last year, but second half of last season to start of this season, it's been like absolutely putrid. So that's, you got to have some blinders on in that respect. Chad suggested some deck doubles. And since we're coming off the show with Yuta, where he mentioned really liking to get into this game here, I'm going to run a set of, I'm not going to force the skinny stack, or sorry, the double stack, but I am going to force the bring back with the thought of let's see what this Dallas Baltimore game looks like here. Again, guys, we're recording this on Friday afternoon. We don't know the Z status officially. So we're running it with the current inputs, which do have him out. So we probably will get more bait men in Andrews than we will if Z is rolled in, but this will still give us an idea of how well these are grading out here. Did you have any macro thoughts on this game? Leonie, I know at least over on draft Kings, like the pricing made it kind of difficult to game stack it here, but I guess we'll find out if it's a little easier to do on Fandall. Yeah, I think going back to deck is interesting. He was chalk last week. He's not going to be this week, because most people are going to play the Lamar side of this game. So I'm curious to see what the sims say. Sometimes I struggle with that, where it's kind of like, well, if you're fading chalk Lamar, then just don't play the game. Instead of trying to figure out circumvent Lamar and playing the same game, but at the same time, if we get a big Derek Henry game and we get deck chucking, I think Pickens in particular is super interesting at his ownership. He started the season really quiet. CDs put to doubt, put to bet any doubts over Pickens surpassing him, but yeah, you can see he's in the top of the ones in the millimetre, which makes a lot of sense, and those are singles. Which does, and my guess is when we flip to the smaller that we probably see more Lamar, and we probably see some doubles pop up with Andrews and Bateman, because the value allows you to get there, whereas these singles and just hitting on the alpha game with Pickens, you know, this top line up here, you go deck to Pickens, you bring it back with Bateman, you have Warren McCaffrey, 80 Mitchell, Kelsey, Henry. So no Gibbs here, you actually, we do still have that ownership bump on Gibbs, so he is coming in at like 47% in this run. But I guess that does make a little bit of sense. If you boost his ownership and you're paying for these premium Dallas Baltimore pieces, you're going to get a little less of the high end running back. Yeah, and we do, you know, we talk about every week on the bring back side for Baltimore, we get the double skill player, even without Lamar, makes sense that Henry is going to be one of them, because it would be weird to have the double pass catcher without Lamar, but Henry plus one of the pass catchers
because they out definitely can still work. There's plenty of room for that pass catcher to hit value in the deck side. Just still be better than the Lamar side. - Let's flip it to the much smaller 300 entry contest and as expected, you do stack though. - You still get some deck, it's pretty even there. The top lineup is that Lamar, Bateman, Andrews, you bring it back with CD. This one gets in Gibbs Cook. Bad, I have surprised the amount of Jacobi buyers I've seen over here on Vandal is I feel shook. - Disconcerting. Disconcerting would be the word, Peter. We do have a kind of Brian Thomas struggling in this matchup and maybe seeing Christian Gonzalez a little bit more than Jacobi Myers and Parker Washington, but yeah, it feels gross for sure. I don't have a look. The only thing is that in terms of our projected values, nobody ahead of him is cheaper, so he's very cheap. That's what he's got in his corner. - Yes. It would be the most fantasy football thing. What was the thing, was it last year or two years ago where there was something where you felt like you had to wave the white flag on a take like after like week one or two, but then it like massively swung back in your direction. What was that? - Oh man. - Do you remember what I'm, there was one where it was like, you were like, I gotta take the L like, you know, I could pitch a L A. - There was Calvin Ridley one year, but I don't think that was the one you're talking about. There was Christian Kirk. It was Christian Kirk. - Maybe it was Christian Kirk. - There was Christian Kirk because he ended up having, he like didn't get a target the first game or like at all. I think he had like one target and he wasn't playing like the two wide receiver sets and then he came back. So that's who it was. - Christian Kirk with the Jags a few years ago. - The only reason I say that is 'cause it just, there would be nothing more DFS slash fantasy football than like Parker Washington to do nothing. This game and Jacobi Myers go for a hundred yards and two touchdowns. - Yeah, I have had a tough time as absurdly good as Parker Washington's metrics are. It's hard to get him like it's hard to trust that his target share is gonna stay that high. I mean, he's in the category with the truly elites. Which is like a good problem to have to figure that out. He's crushing but it's like, you don't wanna chase it too much and the more evidence we get, the more we'll chase it. But that one's been tough. There was that last year it wasn't receiver but for Fandall specifically this mattered but like everybody gave up on Tony Pollard and because of the way Fandall's pricing is, like on draft case it didn't really matter but Fandall he was still like popping the sins and you just not wave him every week and then all of a sudden you have like two tournament winning weeks in a row at the end of the year. - Well, we could run that. Someone was, I think Rohan who suggested the bonic stuff last week wants us to maybe take a look at New England in Jacksonville. I actually feel like I do like that on Fandall a little bit more just because there aren't quite as many pieces like doing stuff like Drake May Skinny with Parker Washington Bring Back or Laurence Skinny with a Bring Back. That strikes me as like the right amount of pieces to test here. - May is our second best value. He's probably not gonna get played a bunch. He's gonna save you money from the other elites and you know, outside of Lamar and Allen was drafted competitively as like the third to fifth quarterback off the board. So I do think that's interesting. The pass catcher is tough to get right with him but because it's tough to get right, you're getting the ownership discount. Like Dobbs is gonna be sub five percent. Hunter Henry is probably the easiest one to do because you take up the tie down spot. A lot of times when in doubt I correlate with the cheap tie down. Those are probably the main two. I would do it with, you could do it with Ramandre or Trebian I guess as well. I was gonna say these teams they're kind of like the Spider-Man meme a bit where the backfields are pretty split and hard to use right now. I guess the Patriots don't have a Parker Washington but if you were wanting to get into that game on Fandall where like the over correlation isn't quite as viable as it is on Draft King's definitely seems like a good spot. So yeah, we'll see what pops up here still getting a ton of Gibbs. Getting about equal amounts of Lawrence and Drake May in this run here about equal amounts of Hunter Henry in Dobbs and then a ton of Parker Washington. So everything you'd kind of intuitively expect you're getting here. And I mean one thing that keeps happening no matter what Leonis you're just getting a ton of Andrews and Bateman as huge values if Flowers doesn't play. - Yeah and I don't, you know I do anticipate the ownership maybe comes up there but I don't anticipate the Sims getting off of Bateman and Andrews because it's when you get this combination of cheap value but like it has legitimate ceiling. Like we have a lot of touchdowns being scored in this game. We have Bateman as a very efficient player. We have Andrews with a pretty high touchdown share relative to his overall target share. Those things all lean towards being a good ceiling. A lot of times we get to cheap values. It's like oh they're great because they have like volume on a bad team but they don't have the ceiling. They have the ceiling so there's gonna be a lot of ravens in my lineups this week probably. - Just a quick look at the Sim ROI's here for this Trevor Lawrence and Drake May just restricting it to skinny stacks in a bring back. They're pretty on par or would just like the overall cohort we ran. I guess that overall cohort was double stacks but then we ran the DAC stuff. So like 276% here at the top. It is a Trevor Lawrence skinny to Parker Washington with a Hunter Henry bring back. And we see a couple other names in here that we haven't seen H&N at running back. Justin Jefferson at wide receiver, Michael Wilson at wide receiver. So another like really contrarian line up. 85% are a cumulative own and then 0.1% product down here. - And that's in the milling maker too where you're like, obviously we have some correlation with the skinny in the bring back but it's a lot of like can you hit the perfect parlay on low owned guys and that sort of what this team is? - In the smaller one, you still see a Lawrence one at the top here Gibbs Cook, Garrett Wilson, Dobbs ring back Andrews Warren Titans. Let's see what a Drake May looks like in a smaller field. It would be Drake May to Dobbs with the Parker Washington bring back, you jam Gibbs, Taylor, Garrett Wilson, Mark Andrews, Jalen Warren, Titans defense. So again, once you make that May Dobbs stack, you really are just kind of jamming in the best plays around it. - You do see where, because we brought Gibbs up so much, like some of the other running backs got it get squeezed. You see Jonathan Taylor actually comes in at 4% here, which is something that very realistically could happen in the size of tournament. And that's an interesting play to me with so much attention on Gibbs and Walker or if people aren't doing that, they might be saving money at running back. So to instead play Taylor over one of those guys who's, I think has a huge ceiling, the Texans often says all sorts of problems right now. So the cults could be in a pretty good game script here. - What is a, you know, you had us look at the Sim own for Gibbs because we manually boosted it. So it makes sense he's coming in way higher. What do you make of, you know, some of them are really close, product own, or sorry, the percentage own to Sim own, like Drake May is almost identical, but then you do see a Taylor 14.5% in this Sim, he's 4.3%. So it's almost like this weird thing where it's like, okay, it makes sense, he's gonna look good at 4.3%. But if his actual project is 14.5, how do you think that through? - So there's a compounding effect with Jonathan Taylor, which is right now, I think we're just, we're looking at the large field p-ones. Show his small field is I think a lot of it. - Oh no, this is small field, yeah, yeah. So it's, the one thing that's weird is if you go back to the screen where you make teams, you kind of choose which ownership that you're like viewing from the ownership, see your underwear roots as projections. Of course, I'm pointing out my screen as if you could see that on the left side, right above the players. - Oh, yeah. - So that dictates what you're seeing in the Sim. - Gotcha. - Gotcha. - Even though we send it in a small field, it shows you just our projected ownership, you're getting the correct Sim ownership for the field, for the small field. - Gotcha. - That is showing you. So really, he's 11%. I think we have him in small field, but he still does get squeezed to that 4%. I do think though, that's kind of the interesting thing about boosting Gibbs when you know he's gonna probably, like 60% of that contest probably about right. And there has to be, like it has to work out. Other people have to go down for that to naturally occur. And it makes sense that it would be the other expense of running back who isn't chalk that gets whacked the most. - Yeah, and I do just want, 'cause I go through all of the chalk there with J.M. and Yuda looking just over on Fandall for overall stuff, Gibbs and Walker and Parker Washington. So the top three are the same on DraftKings and Fandall. I will say though, the Parker Washington price, relative to the rest of the wide receivers is much cheaper on DraftKings than it is on Fandall. And he's still projecting to be a solid value in a popular play on Fandall, which is interesting.
- Yeah, I do think there's intuitively some more outs to fading him on Fandool, just because the, you know, point per reception versus half point per reception. I, you know, expect him to have relative to the average player a bit more value from the PPR scoring. - Yes. Yeah, and then the, the other one that stood out was, you know, Kincaid is really the mispriced one on Fandool. You know, he's, he's tight in seven on Fandool and overall sour, he's tight in three on Draft King. So he's one that you can definitely see being extremely chalky just with how well he's played and in that sour, he just being too cheap compared to the other ones. - Yeah, I feel like I touted Kincaid all off season and now I'm probably gonna end up on the fade side of Kincaid this week. It seems like I think the scene is incredible, but his volume is still like a little suspect. You know, it's way better. It's super encouraging for season long, but he's getting there on hyper efficiency right now. So I don't, I think he's a very good play, but I don't think he's free from a low four game. - Let me ask you one more question here. You know, selfishly I've been playing in that 300 person contest that we've been swimming here, the $222 one, you obviously play the super small field funder dome. When you're starting with your lineup builds, are you thinking about it from like, hey, what is like a big block, a big correlated bet, double triple stack onslaught that I can get to and then building from there? Or where do you really start your thought process for the really small field stuff? - Yeah, I mean, it's challenging, probably changes a bit each week. I'd say each of the first two weeks, I've made a one really big fade in the thunder dome, so it's kind of pivoted off that. So week one, I didn't play Jamar Chase. Last week I didn't play Bijan Robinson. And kind of just trying to get a sense of like, who's the play, play if there is one that really goes from like, you know, 40% in most contests, so like maybe like 60, 70%. Which even in a 300 person contest can happen where people are really afraid to make that fade and then kind of deciding if I want to take the opposite side of that. So the first two weeks have in a lot of ways started with the fade as opposed to exactly what I'm building. Sometimes it comes down to if there's a stack, I just really like and I know I want to play on one of that to be my most dollar exposure. And I think it's usually if I'm playing a stack in the thunder dome, I generally feel like it's a stack that could be played in any size tournament. There's some exceptions where I'll play something really chalky if there's like a late swap slate or something. But I ended up on party last week late with the rain and in the Minnesota Chicago game. And then Lad McConkey playing kind of hurt the Herbert stuff. So sometimes it goes to the very end. - Yeah. And would you say just holistically, like, you know, this is more of an old school like Handbuilder thought, but we always talk about like how many projected points you can sacrifice off the optimal for uniqueness purposes or whatever is that still like in your mind a sliding scale like the smaller the field you're in, probably the less you want to sacrifice and then the bigger the contest gets, you're more willing to sacrifice for uniqueness. - Definitely. Thankfully, now we have this sense to kind of help into it that for me, but we saw that with the one line up that we said was it was almost like the eight like Parley with a bunch of lone guys that had like, I think it had Justin Jefferson, Michael Wilson in it. Guys, we hadn't really talked about before. That was sacrificing a lot of projection in the millimaker because you're really going for that top 0.1% outcome whereas in a small field, at a certain point the leverage just doesn't become worth it. That's something that I had to wrap my hat around. I probably for a while played a little bit too contrarian and then it's like, you know, you mean Holka won one week in the game changer I think it was? - Yes. - With a chalk zero at tight end that was min priced one week and like some kind of troubleman I believe. - Oh my gosh, troubleman, oh my goodness, I think you're right. But like sometimes you're just picking and choosing your battles. You don't have to make every battle like, and it's hard because if you go down the line at every single position I could tell you a play that probably is like over owned and a play that's under owned. But if I take the under owned side of every single one like that line up collectively is not going to be good. Even if my, if I took the best leverage play at each position you just don't need that much. You've got to kind of know where the tipping point is. - Yeah, and I mean I do have a little bit of variance on here but like again, just to look at projected points and this could be a byproduct of this slate but even when we force the Drake May stacks like you're looking at lineups that are around 133 points even when I remove that. So you're getting closer to more just like pure optimals. You're at like 135. So even then on those teams it's not like you're sacrificing a ton of projected points which is why I think you can see those teams that have really low product ownership that are still grading out well because it's not like you're actually sacrificing a ton. - And I do have to give Fandool Kudos for their pricing because I think that's a result of their pricing where like on draft king sometimes if you get this really cheap good running back like everyone's got a plan, right? - Yeah. - There's cheap running backs on Fandool that just aren't really, when we talk about Jalen War and like that price on Fandool even though he seems like an incredible smash value he's like well you don't have to play him because you could play three stud running backs if you wanted to. Or like you could play Jacobi Myers which seems ridiculous but then you start looking at the pricing and you get those three stud running backs. So I think Fandool is actually a bit more spread in terms of being able to be different without sacrificing as much projection. Draft King sometimes it can be harder which is why sometimes on draft kings I'll pull like the one really big lever because it's harder to pull like three to four before you start really coming off the optimal score. - Yep. Good stuff, Leonie. Like I said, if people want to mess around with the solver sim someone had a question about the battle royale stuff. So the solver has two different products. There's the draft assistant product. So if you're managing your combos and the BRs which I'm about to talk about with John in Nes that's a different product. The one we're showcasing here today is the optimizer in the simulator. That is the one you can use promo code to keep 10 to get $10 off on. And yeah, be sure if you guys are YouTube members to get in that Fandool free roll over there quite literally free money in there $1,000 up top just YouTube members competing. Leonie, you have established the million tomorrow. You have a lineup build show. What else would you like people to check out over on Establish the Run? - Yeah, scheduled change this week. Establish the millies tonight at eight. - There is no lineup build show this week, but I'll be back next week. It's most Saturday nights at eight. I am going to take Micah to the Penn State football game. First, I'd say his first real college football game but it's really my first real college football game 'cause I'm not counting the UV bowls in that. - Wow, wait, who did they play? - They played Wisconsin. - Okay, all right, there you go. - Shout out Sean from our college football team for hosting us for this. That sounds like a blast, yeah. And I assume Levittan approved as well for some PSU action there. - He's half approved and half already making fun of the inevitable picture I send him with Penn State gear that is not earned by me in any way shape or form. - There you go, you know what? I mean, he's, he's larping as a Denver Broncos fan these days. So I mean, he doesn't have any likes to stand on. All right, good stuff. Leonie, appreciate you. Good luck this week and we'll talk to you next week. Same time. All right, and it is now time to get rolling here. Let me flip over to off and on the clock. It's time to hang with the badge bros. (upbeat music) All right, what is up? What are you laughing at, Warner? That big puff that you thought your ass was muted and you got it out right in the middle of the intro. - That's probably me. - Oh, it's you, yes. - Yeah, yeah. And I thought I had myself muted. That was a, I apologize that that got out. Sorry. - I am feeling a lot better. I am feeling a lot better. I will say. - You bet, you bet under the weather? - Yeah, yeah. It was under the weather with last show. I was actually under the weather. That was just, I didn't make it, I didn't make a big stink about it. But we were, we did a show as a carrying and I was like blowing my nose off camera, but not off camera and having a cough drop in mid show. It's all good people. - It's all good. If you guys are, you know, Sauri cap bros who are still hanging around what we're gonna do here today is talk through the DFS slate through the underdog lens and specifically these battle royals and very exciting news, 50K.
up top this week, uh, six sick prize pool that Noomi cooked up for everyone here. So we're going to get to all the scrolls. The best plays will do some drafts and we'll wrap up building together some pickups and all of that good stuff. So talk to me guys. What's, uh, what's it like in the BR streets this week? We're, uh, we're frothy Pete. We're getting after it early this week. I'm excited to be drafting here. The haters and losers don't think I can get to 150 and they might be right, but I'm trying my best. Wow. That's, that's your goal. When was the last time you got 150 in in the main? Oh, it's been a while. I mean, I'm good to make sure I get my full back dives and the devolves in every single week, but it's been a while since I got the 150 in, but I saw that 50 K up top and I'm making it my goal this week. So yeah, let's make it happen. Love it. What about you, Nez he plugging away? Yeah, for sure. I'm, I'm going to get my 150 in as well, looking forward to it and, uh, kind of like changing some thoughts, you know, as we go along and learn more information about this slate, but definitely have some, uh, concentration, uh, in my exposures so far that, uh, that I'm excited to get into. Yeah. I mean, one thing that's obviously, you know, a big deal when we, uh, we switch over from the fixed hours to the draft stuff is the Q tags and, and how we play some of these, I feel like Brock Bowers is probably a really interesting one to talk through, um, third in tight end ADP, ADP of 23.7. Have you guys been clicking a lot of Bowers just knowing if he does go, you're probably getting what, at least seven, eight, nine spots of CLV there? Zero percent, bro. Not a single Brock Bauer share this. That's not the John I used to know. The old John would have a lot of Q tag Brock Bowers. Now this, uh, I started off on Tuesday's show just saying that like, even if we get like peak, like Brock Bowers is in like hype train, I didn't think it'd be more than like 65% of snaps. Like, it's just so effing soon after a meniscus repair. Like, yeah, can he be featured in the red zone? Can that be a decently fun game environment for sure? But I think I accidentally clicked his name in the sixth round one time accidentally. Yeah, it was a time out. It was a time out. I do it just because he's like a sixth round pick and even 60% of Brock Bowers can still be what you need in a game against the Saints. I think that that should be a pretty fun game. Um, I'm looking forward to that one. I think it's going to be pretty high scoring and, uh, yeah, I think they're going to have red zone opportunities and a Brock Bauer is going to be on the field when they're in the red zone. So, uh, I'm, I'm opening up to it, but he did go from a probable tag to a Q tag. They, they, hey, he didn't practice the day, but part of the plan, part of the plan, he just didn't tell you yesterday. Uh, so, uh, we'll see how everything goes. Not going to be mad if I have to swap, but, uh, I think he's a, I think he's totally fine in the sixth round this week. Was it part of the, the plan to get his meniscus trimmed a week before the season? Dude, it's just a little, just a little buzz cut, man. Just just a little buzz, little shape, little, little, you know, give me that little one fade on the side here. Just something off the top, you know, John's now a doctor too. I mean, like, I, I can't draft and John turns into an entirely new person in the span of just a few weeks. Yeah, I'm, honestly, I'm just having a great week right now. Like, the vibes are immaculate and fun right now. Like, I'm just enjoying life. I love, I love that every John, I love that. Uh, some of us have to work though. Uh, Nes, uh, what do you, what's your, your slate overview? What other spots are, are interesting to you here? Yeah, I think we kind of coming off the shellshocks week of like two RVs, not winning. And now we, it's like, do we need to completely change our perspective on, on underdog scoring and how, and how players like find themselves into winning lineups. But, uh, I'm still standing, uh, on tent toes on the two running back meta and, uh, continuing to do so and hoping that the field over corrects based on what they saw last week. Um, there are, uh, not a lot of good RV scrolls in my opinion this week. There's like a couple that are really good. But there's only a couple. Uh, so that to me is sort of like kind of standing out. Uh, and then this top four as well, I think is really, really, uh, interesting. I started out the week being like Uber concentrated over, uh, on JS over JSN. So I had like no JSN to start the week. Um, I was doing Ken Walker. I was doing Christian McCaffrey. These are smash spots. And then just kind of like looking at the slate more and more starting to mix in more JSN. And I'm going to probably take him at two for the rest of the week. But, uh, initially I was the enamored with the Ken Walker at Dolphins and had had a lot of trouble getting off of it. But now that Sam Darnold is looking like, hey, he's good to go. Uh, I want, I want to be back in on JSN at two. You think he's like good, good to go. Yeah. Uh, I mean, like I saw the quotes from yesterday and I saw the full practice. I just didn't know it was like that definitive. It's basically just a pain tolerance thing. You know, he's, he, he avoided a major injury. Um, you know, who knows? Maybe he takes a big hit and then he's, you know, he's living out the field. I hope not. But like, um, you know, it seems like it's just a pain tolerance thing. He's not, there's no risk at this point. Like I think they would, I think they would easily pump the brakes on him against Marcus Mariotta if it wasn't like good to go. Yeah. Yeah. The most recent, uh, Mike Nuggets from, uh, the OC Brian Florey there is, he's going through a process. He looks great to me. He always looks great on the practice field and we're going to stay true to this process. So I mean, yeah. Um, any other macro notes before we go position by position here? Um, I think like last week was a big game environment week where it was like there was one isolated one that everybody wanted to get into and then, you know, J.M's analogy where with the monogamy and whatever of his uncle, like pretty held true, right? And it ended up mattering in a decent way there. This week feels less like game environment and more like isolated team concentration. So like a lot of smart people talking about like, okay, I just want to get like Detroit and every lineup or I just want to get like, you know, a piece of buffalo in every lineup. And I don't care which piece it is. Like there's less of this, like, Hey, I need to bring back. I need to be focused on this one isolated game environment. It's more setting up to be like on slotty. So I think like from a stacking dynamic standpoint, I think like San Francisco is going to come along with pretty like more than usual. I think like Kansas City is going to come along with my homes more than usual. I think like everyone's playing it very stacky. And there's probably some pretty decent leverage in playing naked QB this week. Yeah, well, that goes back to Nez's thing about if people are kind of chasing current metas or whatever where we like historically, we know that just jamming the best plays a lot of the naked quarterbacks can hit without the stack partner. I mean, some of them like Drake May is probably a good example, right? Like that's just a clear spot where, you know, dobs and Henry probably don't have the raw ceiling to end up in an optimal, but Drake may go for 30 and easily be there and just making sure you're not forcing it too much. Why don't we we talk quarterback here? We're back to the good old days where Josh Allen is a first round pick. Have you guys been buying at that price? Are you underway? I'm mixing in. It's how I think I would accurately describe it. It's not like a 16% play for me, but I'm not I'm not fading Josh Allen against the Chargers who, you know, I don't want to completely just write off, but man, the way that the bills are playing right now, they really look like they are like at a different level than the rest of the league and the Chargers look like they're also at a different level, a derogatory. So I think it would be obviously hard to get off of Josh Allen this week, especially when you look at the rest of these quarterbacks here and yeah, I've got some quarterbacks down here that I really like, but how many of them are Josh Allen against the Chargers, you know, not not too many. So yeah, it's it's definitely a play that I am warming up to, but I don't have too many shares so far. Yeah, it's like obviously a spot that feels like way more comfortable to get to after we've seen it twice, especially with one of those in prime time, right? Where it's like we've seen him win a main slate and then we've seen him laugh the field in a prime time slate. So everybody's kind of like, well, the ceiling exists of him to get two on the ground and three through the air every single week. My model has factored in that the bills are wearing those ugly ass gray jerseys at home. And that's a clear regression spot with those gross ass grays and blue helmet combo just doesn't work well for me, but I have a cozy little 8% right now. The other thing that people aren't really talking about with Josh Allen is like he does fall in like the second round a decent amount and especially early in the week when people were like, hey, we don't want to steam up this meta before like the ETR stuff comes out. So like the combos of Josh Allen right now are also like really strong that you're competing against. So I've gone out of my way to get decently contrarian when I do do the Josh Allen combos. Well, the other nice thing with it is looking at DJ Moore's ADP. He is going to be way less than 100% owned there. Whereas Concade is going to be 100% owned and probably pretty frequently paired with Allen. So, you know, to have the option to do both naked Allen and Allen with DJ Moore at at lower ownership, I think is pretty intriguing. Yeah, definitely.
Uh, I, I, I think Josh Allen naked is probably the move, but I, I, I, I, I can't, like, tell people to not draft out in King Cade, you know, because he looks so damn good. Uh, and, and the, and the charger seems so susceptible to basically anything, uh, on, on defense. So, uh, yeah, right, right now it just shapes up to just be just a absolute, like, smash here for, for every bill. Yeah. Lamar Jackson, QB 2, Mahomes 3, Purdy 4, DAC 5, Goff 6, like, really no surprises whatsoever in that top six. You either have great game environments or massive team totals for those quarterbacks. Um, when you get into the scroll territory, then you get into shock Lawrence, Barrow, Bryce Young, Herbert, Kyler, May, Geno, Baker. Um, have you guys been living in this range? Uh, what have you guys been doing overall at quarterback? Yeah. Uh, I mean, kind of evergreen with me. I actually have a pretty decent Lamar bag because I do think like naked Lamar could be the one guy that matches the Josh Allen ceiling and you can get them in the fourth round. Uh, a decent amount. So, uh, as a guy who's not normally that guy, it's weird to be that guy a little bit this week, but then after the Lamar kind of like goes away, I'm playing a lot of these, like backend scrolls. I've done the naked Drake May. Uh, I think Trevor Lawrence is my second highest own quarterback right now, but that goes hand in hand with a lot of Parker Washington, uh, capitulation there. Uh, done a little bit of the Bryce Young stuff capitulating there as well. Um, and then yeah, outside of that, not a ton. I mean, maybe I'll do a little Sam Darnold as the weekend goes on here. And, uh, I'm still a little bit enamored with some Baker May field, but, um, that might be done. Yeah. Yeah. That's a Japanese soldier meme right there still going back to the Baker well against Brian Flores, all out blitz. Uh, yeah, salute to you for even thinking about that. Um, yeah, for, for me, uh, as far as like the Chaco's like, I'm like enamored with Brock Party here. I think the Cardinals have the ability to keep this game at least pushing, maybe not like competitive, but Cardinals are going to keep this game pushing, I think. Uh, and even if they don't, they just, Brock Party is just so efficient and they have no problem letting him sling it. Uh, so really, really into Brock Party. I don't care if it's stacked or not. I think he's just a great play in a vacuum. And then as far as the scroll goes, man, my favorite scroll is Joe Burrow against the Steelers. Uh, this, this, this game, I just think it's just the, the Bengals are not getting enough respect. They haven't gotten, I don't think they've gotten enough respect from the market all year. Uh, like I was like baffled that they were dogs to the Texans last week. They win by 14. Uh, and they're only, and this is a division game in Pittsburgh that is notoriously, you know, a pretty like hard fought matchup here between the two. So I can understand like why it's only three and a half favorite for the Bengals, but I think that's just going to be, I think it's going to be a slaughter. Like the Steelers, biggest issue, like every, every year, and this year's no different, you kind of saw it against the Falcons is they really struggle against like elite offensive weapons. And, you know, I don't know if you guys have heard, but Jamar Chase is on the Bengals. And so I think that they're going to probably, yeah, yeah, he's good to me. Yeah, look out. So I think they're going to have a ton of trouble against, against Jamar Chase, like they literally always have, like they just, anytime they face someone that's elite, they can't do anything. Uh, they, they, they're, they're, they're strictly, you know, bottom feeders and, and beating up on the mid to your team. So I, I think Burrow can, can really go nuts here. Steelers are really banged up right now too. Like Michael Pittman, Rico Dattle, like the Jalen Warren limited limited with the shoulder. And then on the defensive side, like Joey Porter, Jr., and Jamal Dean, like who knows if they both play this week. One of them, one of the two's not playing this week, basically, not a bad pride. I mean, Higgins ADP 33.9. So you're going to get a little bit of a discount on him. And yet Chase, I mean, Chase's is cheap compared to what we've normally seen from him. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's just what you do. Like, you know, it was last week, what the teams who were winning, they got LAM in the second round paired with with JSN. You like you scoop on these guys who are falling and just stack two elite players whenever you can. Yeah. Absolutely. And then the other thing that's good is the ownership discount you're going to get on it has actually been plummeting as the week's gone on because Burrow started as like QB like six or seven on Monday. And now he's slowly falling. And T Higgins was started as like a routinely draft guy. And now he's been vaulted by some of the other options. Yep. John any other show off scroll the F down plays you back on the Baker doubles. You got to go. I mean, the Baker stuff I've done once or twice, it that'll actually funnel into my favorite pick and play of the week. So we'll maybe save that one. You know, I'd be in on Jamis if it wasn't for the weather and how poor he looked in prime time. I do reserve hope that you know, a week of practice with Jamis at the helm could be fun. But that weather does look pretty shitty to me. So and I don't think the Titans can push so pretty out on that spot there. Yeah, I think Sam Donald's going to be like a really sneaky one as the as the week goes on here. Like if we get wheels up, I'll definitely mix in like five to six Sam Donald teams on Sunday morning. Yep. Yeah, I mean, it's just it's so it's so deep there as far as the other, you know, I was just talking about Herbert with Jam for a while. I think doing Herbert and Ladstacks, you could certainly get into basically any time you're going to get that quarterback at sub 20% ownership. And you know, Kyler would Jefferson too. I think you can I think you can go right there. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, I'm really into that spot. Everybody wants to talk about Geno because he's been like redacted steam. I thought he'd get steamed more this week, especially with like the 80 Mitchell role. But I think like the way to play it on our site is like if you did like breeze plus Garrett, like that's just like totally fine. You know, or if you just do like a one off 80 or something on the bring back of like a JMO plus golf team, like I don't think you need to go to like I don't think Geno has like that 28 or 30 in him that could like break this slate. It's been a long time since we saw that. And just to drive home that point of someone who now has firmly salary cap brain with stuff, but there's like when you hear, you know, you to talk glowingly about Geno or whatever it is so price specific in the analogy to make would be would you like Geno. So let's say whatever Geno's 4,800. Would you like Geno if Kyler Murray and Justin Herbert and Drake May and Kyler Murray were all 4,800 as well. Then you go, Oh, I don't want Geno. I don't want Geno. I want the other guy's 4,800. That's that's what Geno is on underdog. Yeah, five other guys who are 4,800. So you got to separate kind of the the price value and know that you can even get better spots, better projections at similar ownership. Exactly. Running backs. You mentioned some of the guys at the high end there. Obviously Gibbs Walker, CMC Henry. I mean, just a ton of smash plays, even being able to get a guy like James Cook or Gentie with their roles there. And you do see a tear break in running back ADP from Gentie down to Chase Brown, which does strike me as pretty efficient there. But what are you guys liking at the high end for running backs? Like I said, that top three has been like where I've been living and mixing in some Derek Henry as well. But honestly, I've just been like really flat. Like I think that I don't have like super, super strong leans on much of any of these. The highest zone out of like these guys that are on the screen currently for me are Gentie and Chase Brown, you know, just kind of feeding into that Bengals, beating the Steelers thesis pretty handedly. And Gentie against the Saints, I think this matchup looks really, really nice. And Gentie could see a ton of usage here against New Orleans. Those two right now have just been like my ultra favorites. But I mean, these guys are just so talented here, like everybody like above these guys, like I've really just been trying to have like a fair amount of each. It's hard to like say like one is better than the other unless you want to kind of go the blowout route for Kansas City or the Niner's, which I wouldn't like fault anybody for doing. But I think Kansas City blowing out Miami comes via Kenneth Walker going for 102 like at a minimum. Yeah. Yep. John, what are you doing at the high end for running back? Yeah, a lot of it. Yeah. So I got 27% Gibbs. Nobody runs better. 25 of Walker and 25 of McAfry. But then in a, you know, an opposite move to Nez, I'm like basically fully out on that Gentie plus Chase Brown tier. And I'm like full scroll guy with my last running back position. And I'm 19% HN 13, Chuba, 12 on Bucky Irving. And then yeah, some breeze, Javonte. I find Javonte really interesting because like what the fuck's the difference in Javonte this week versus last week and Javonte was going in the second round last week just because he didn't fall into the end zone twice. It's still highest total on the slate. It's still, you know, and nobody wants to touch it. Like we know what he is. He's a plotter who can fall into the end zone twice. And you take down all of the Dallas teams with one Contrarian school just if he gets the in the box three times, you know. So I find that one way more interesting than last week when it doesn't carry ownership. But yeah, I've basically full faded the 100% owned middle tier of like Gentie, Breeze Hall and Chase Brown and then replaced it
all the scrolls. Yeah, let's get to the scrolls there. I mean, it's pretty wild to see the Whiplash on like Javante's ADP and then you get him in this really nice game environment. And I'm like, not sure the thesis has changed. The thesis is he scores two touchdowns and I'm I'm like, "Denicle game." Yeah. So I'm with you like once you get to Javante there, some pretty interesting names. It seems like Warren's going to be okay. No Rico. That's a spot. The projections are really going to like Bucky's role is like just as good as Bruce's. And you could say like similar spot for him. What else do you guys like here? I mean, after Judkins, it's starting to get a little shaky. Yeah, exactly. Like I really don't think it's like all that deep. You know, we talked about a lot of the names that are good scrolls already. But I think once you get passed like Bucky by ADP, I can't really sell you on any of these guys. Whereas like usually I probably could like find a guy or two down here that I'd like past like running back 16. But no, once you get passed like Warren and Bucky, like that's where I draw the line. So I will say just as far as the Warren goes, the projection I think is obviously good and it makes sense that it's good with no Rico there. He should see obviously a ton of work. But again, like I have concerns about game flow in this one and how many touches are going to be there for Jalen Warren like as the as the RB1. They drop back a lot. Can they just dump off to Warren a bunch? I mean, sure, they could. I just don't think they're going to get anywhere with that. And I don't know that that actually like wins you a BR Slade. So I think Warren's going to steam up and he's a scroll that I'm like kind of like it looks so obvious and appealing. But I don't have a lot of faith in the Steelers in this matchup. So I'm going to I'm going to probably pass on the Warren scroll. Yes, game could be pretty slow too. It's ported over chalk from redacted like last week was with Aaron Jones. And that was good. Like Aaron Jones was fine last week. He didn't win you a slate. He was fine on a low scoring, you know, running back slate. Aaron Jones was palatable, right? Like, you know, he gets to the 21 carries. He didn't get any work in the passing game. Obviously we're hoping for passing game work for Warren. The two guys, I'm trying to like, you know, play it before we fully see it and like get some, you know, hey, maybe we were right about these guys in the preseason and they could be those guys are Hendo and Tutan. Like those are two guys that I 5% each of right now where it's like, it just takes one play. And I just I mean, you guys are going to learn this as we go, but I just like Loki like that game environment as a pivot off of where everybody else is going because basically just Parker Washington's getting drafted from it. Yep. Uh, index, uh, doing my job for me in the chat. Can we please get some likes on the streams? These guys can't feed their families on less than 100 likes. Subscribe at the like button. Make sure you guys are also subscribed to the Badge Bros channel. These guys are running shows every day of the week. Multi sport draft leads here. And I believe do we have some giveaways to do? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Let's do it. Um, so yesterday's program there, we gave away 15, a possible sports W MBA, the pennant and the best pot classic, uh, two of which are locking on Tuesday, I believe there. Um, we probably got about another 10. We could give away on this stream right now. And I think a cool way to do it would be if we if we come up with a hashtag, we spin it and then people can send their username and send the sport in which they want to draft. And we can make that happen. What's the best way? How are you collecting these in the comments after or in the discord? What how are you collecting this? Yeah. I was asking people to DM me on any platform of their choosing and it worked out pretty well yesterday. Um, yeah. Uh, probably comment on the video after would really help me to just have it all in one place. So comment on the video after with your UD screen name. And if you want W MBA dance, uh, MLB pennant or best pot classic entry. Okay. Um, then I'm going to get the, uh, the hashtag going. It's going to be draftly D-R-A-F-T-L-E-T-E. How many, we'll, we'll, um, we'll collect some of these, um, hashtags now and we'll spin in like the next five minutes or so I'll put it up on the screen just real quick. Uh, so you guys can see it, draft, delete, D-R-A-F-T-L-E-T-E. Drop that in the chat to be eligible for one of these free draft tokens and we will spin in a second. Uh, did we have any other notes on running back or do we want to move over to wide receiver? No, I think I'm good to, to move over. Um, yeah. Any, uh, I got one question. I mean, we're, we're probably not going to know this, but it's an early game or whatever. If you didn't get to Darian Price, would anyone click a manual Wilson after the week workload last week and then being like road favorites? No. Okay. No. I don't, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I, I, I'd have to, I'd have to think about it. I'd have to see what, what the market thinks about it. But dude, he had a lot of work. He had a lot of work. Yeah. And the trend. He also got like stone walled at the goal line. Like three times and they're like, fuck, we can't keep doing this. Like price. Get your ass back out there right now. I just have shades of him in the packers last year stepping up in that same spot and crushing. So I don't know. I, I, I'm, I'm gonna give it again. I think it's, I'm a Seahawks guy. So I think like that, my actual take on it. It's just like, he, he would obviously have a really good floor in that spot and probably a higher floor than a lot of guys going ahead of him. But does he have the 25 point ceiling? That's the, but I guess, last week, all you needed was fucking 12 points for Bucky Irving to like ship contest. So maybe it doesn't matter. Nothing matters. Nothing matters, baby. That was so far. All right. Wide receiver, tons of big dogs up here. Jason Omnerovak on the main slate, Chase Lamb, a Lava Jefferson, and then Parker Washington doing his damn this to elbow his way into that conversation. What do you guys like at wide receiver? I will just say that the 100 draft, the 100% drafted window, especially if people are going back to the 1 2 2 1 builds, like the scroll at second wide receiver leverage this week because of the strength of the top 10 is going to be like astronomical. You're going to get like crazy discounted ownership on literally any scroll. Yeah, it's, it's wild because if people go back into not doing the three wide receiver builds and stuff, I mean, even Garrett Wilson's going to come in at like 85% and he's like a 20 ADP. So you don't have to scroll like crazy far, but I think there's a lot of nice scrolls if you want to get going. For sure. Nez, what do you like in at wide receiver? Yeah, I think I'm going to declare week three, Waymo week and just playing a ton of, ton of Jamison Williams here against the Jets who we really haven't. Yeah. Do you mean it's Waymo month? It is, it is Waymo month. Okay. I just want because week one was Waymo week week two was, so I've just might as well make it Waymo month, right? It's the month of Waymo. Yeah. Okay. So the Jets, I don't quite know what to think of them defensively yet. I haven't really seen them play anybody that's all that good yet, especially after the way the Packers looked last night. It's like, okay, like yeah, that wasn't even like a real test. This was a really bad offensive line. And I think they do want to get them going. So it's a home game here against the Jets. And I think the Jets will be able to push this pace a little bit as well and kind of make force the, force the Lions to stay aggressive here and chuck it. Waymo just makes, makes a ton of sense as a low-owned play here. That like, you know, it's all or nothing. You know what I mean? Like if it hits, like, you know, you're getting, you're getting some, some big time, big time points there out of him. So he, to me, I think makes a lot of sense. Yep. John, how deep are you getting into this pool of throw-wide receivers? Decently deep, but that second spot as I was alluding to. I have a decent bag of lad just because the on-off splits right now, but Naz is kind of talking me off it a little bit just of like him not, you know, being fully healthy. I like the DJ more one you brought up earlier as like a conturing in way to play Josh Allen that isn't available to a lot of people. Any San Francisco piece I'm fine if you want to take the swing on Mike Evans. I think Debo is really nice with it too. So I did a couple Debo's. Obviously fine with both the Carolina guys. It was weird to see Coker pop up with the Q tag, but you know, he's probably well, it's a nothing burger, I think. So should be fine there. But these are my two deep, deep ones. Michael Wilson and Josh Downs those guys that nobody were getting to that could both push game environment and just, you know, some injuries on both the defenses that they're going up against. I've been using them as like cheeky little bringbacks in a couple spots there. Yep. Yeah, I mean, you run into some, you know, touchdown expectation issues with with some of those guys there. I mean, just looking at projections, you know, the typical kind of sweet spot, I would say like DJ Moore, DK Metcalf, Bateman if no flowers, Igbuka, yeah, Downs there as well. All those guys kind of projecting for, you know, 10 to 11 points and it's not too far off. I mean, this is an interesting one too. James flagging Evans basically undrafted and practicing today.
I mean, holy cow getting a player of his caliber that team total that spot at at low ownership ADP a 35 what or what do you have them as the live ADP? Live ADP right now is 35.1. I haven't seen him get drafted much, but pretty CMC and kid will go every damn draft. So it's like it's the perfect lever to pull there if he finds the box twice. Yeah, that's a good one. That's very good to me. Yeah, the other one in that mold that isn't as high profile a player or prolific touchdown score is a very worthy because you're just dealing with a, you know, the homes goes every single time Ken Walker goes every single time. Rashi Rice was going 100% of the time early in the week and now he's kind of fallen a little bit Kelsey goes every single time and it's like what if worthy just catches two. Like you know, like he's the guy and like utilization report stuff on worthy is exponentially better than any other pass catcher on their team right now. So yeah, that's the other another one. Yep, I mean, that's it. It's rare to get those those spots to where it's like we get like very confident and where the points are coming and you can play it just slightly differently through some low on pieces definitely makes sense there. Nez any other wider series you want to shout out. Yeah, I mean, just to reiterate on the on the Evans thing like it's just like a no brainer leverage play. At 35 one with the contest halfway for right now like you the max owned that he'll be max draft that he'll be in the contest is like 70%. I don't know that it'll catch up enough and I love this spot against Arizona like I already iterated multiple times. And then we get to say officially questionable he was in use practicing today. I mean maybe who we I don't want to say he was practicing but what was reported was that he was seen participating in practice. But we all know that that very well could mean nothing. We have no idea what to make out of any of these practice reports any longer. But they if active is just like he should be a like second pick third on pick like it's kind of kind of nuts that he's down here. So I think that's kind of the story of this later these Q tags that are just buried. Yep. Any love for a neighbor stuff like just from a talent standpoint. No, not not with the weather in with JMO like I'll get if I if I if I lose to neighbors man like you know salute. Yeah, yeah, it's basically there's going to be one week this year where where you do lose to neighbors. It's just you don't know when it is and you just got to be you got to be okay with it when it happens. But yeah, this doesn't look like the week with the the weather stuff and James just doesn't look at least through one game like the the James of old there. Anything else here John before we go to tighten. That trade Tucker would be the only other guy just you know they hit him on a deep one last week and then just missed on another deep one. He's just got that like break the slate archetype. So if you do play like a LaVay and you play some of that saints stuff and everybody's playing gentian bowers like one sprinkle of trade Tucker like in that game environment why not. Yeah, it's fun to chase those points. Yeah. All right, let's let's do tight end and then we can rip some giveaways before we start drafting. We of course have trade McBride at the top, Dalton concade Brock Bauer's Kittle Kelsey and Andrews are your top six there. And then like looking at 80 P though it really is a top five with Kelsey and then you're going to have Andrew Schultz Laporta. Kind of all vying for you know a guy who typically goes and then you really get into scroll territory after that. Yeah, Andrews has been the big riser as the week went on just because it's same dynamic as last week where ETR had z out and then he gets the big pump. So he came from like you know ace from space down here in the 12 all the way up to like six. So he's kind of getting drafted at the highest frequency of this back end grouping him in LaPorta have somewhat flipped and I'm not sure I necessarily agree with that right now. Schultz has had like held strong and then everybody else after that has been a fall or urban like a scroll all week long. Gadsden was the other steam candidate. So just from a 80 P lens dynamic. Yeah, it's you know just the evergreen like infinite scroll position here at tight end like nothing nobody's really getting enough love. I think Dalton Schultz not being like tight end six or tight end five I mean like yeah it's like I'm splitting hairs there but Dalton Schultz looks incredible this week. I think that he's just like really really good at at a like well under 100% drafted this week because you got Laporta there Tyler Warren's down there and obviously there's six tight ends in front of him as well. So I'm doing a ton of the Schultz chalk this week it just feels just feels so good. And it's I mean it's what it's probably not that chalk right like you're still going to get him like what's his ownership can be like 50 to 60%. Yeah, I think it'll be around there I it's just like chalk and that like he should be getting drafted more I mean his he's he projects for 52 and a half receiving yards. Like what you probably have is Kelsey's getting paired with my homes a ton Andrews with Lamara ton and then Schultz is the guy you turn to if you're not completing a stack. Right and and the thing with the guys ahead of them like if they plays like that makes Andrews not a good play. Kelsey could touch the ball twice in a blowout right it'll you know I think this game's competitive but kid will could could have have a dud hours is cute like there's just a lot of ways that the guys above Dalton Schultz fail and yeah Schultz going to get a ton of work this week. Yeah that's one that I've been neglecting I know the utilization report stuff has been pretty good I was playing Nico is in to start the week and that kind of like. Hampered my desire to get there now I don't think he goes going to play ball and the Schultz utilization is like. You know right on par with Kittle Laporta et cetera through the first couple weeks there so I was actually using so I'm super concentrated with 25% trimic bride and then 15. And then everything else is under 8% scatter shot and my highest owned after that is Tyler Warren so I was just going to say why why is Tyler why is Tyler word of the save 80 p is a rod day gets it. That's crazy I don't know man I'm just sticking to my priors here and drafting guys I thought we're good at football and kind of match up agnostic in some capacity here. Houston team their defense might not actually be that good and they were pretty banged up and I just watch the cult go ban for band with the homes on prime time there and put up a 30 ball against the defense that we thought was really strong in week one so yeah I don't know man I'm kind of playing the cults a little bit more than other people are. Yeah no I just it's wild to me too because it's like it's not like Warren has been a flop he scored in both games this year yeah yeah three targets week one six targets week two like everything that we're excited about with Josh Downs roll increasing like Tyler Warren remains just as much of the focal point I know this isn't like the nicest game environment in the world but I don't know that strikes me as really weird how low he's going relative to his talent. Yeah that's what I thought to beat so him in Laporta or my two tight and four and five right now both at nine percent so yeah yeah I like it. Yeah I mean I think you know hunter Henry you know again it's like he's going to do it once or twice this year you probably burn money a lot of those weeks and then when it hits it hits I think that was the year our guy fantasy grinder last year when he took down the BR it was that big Henry. scroll week. And honestly too, and like I've not been in Isaiah likely guy, and it's not like the greatest weather atmosphere, but now getting likely this low down knowing you can get a target boost here. I don't hate that. It's not, I wouldn't say I love it, but I don't hate it. Nine targets last week with James at the helm. So yeah. Do it. So, you know, we get Sam Darnell back, plus maybe Giderian price, Giderian price, not healthy. Maybe not playing about AJ Barner with like 10 different ways to score a touchdown on this one. He can catch a touchdown. Push push them like they did last week. So the people forget AJ Barner got the push push on his side, tight and 21. I mean, it's just hilarious. Right. These are six person drafts. Only one tight end is needed. I mean, there's, I mean, at a certain point, there's the mission guitars, but I just think, you know, I wouldn't be surprised if AJ Barner find himself in the end zone, man. Not that crazy. It's really not that crazy. Not that crazy. All right, let's do some giveaways here. So we have hashtag draftly. We're going to spin these and John. We said what we need is in the comments, once this video is done being live, you drop just your underdog username in the in the chat, if you want. And the sport in which you would want to draft no NFL included. It's only see.
season long playoff stuff for WMBA and MLB or it's season long pop. So one of those. Okay, so say it again, John, the the actual options here for the winners to put in the in the description or sorry in the column. WMBA MLB NHL. Okay, so your underdog username if you win in one of those things and how many do we have to give away here, John? We got 10, but we can do five now five later. All right, we'll do five now and five later here. We're going to rip these quickly. Who do we have first up? Got clapped by Rob 55. Who among us? These user devs out loud here. There's our first. Let's see who we got second tier. Get you guys in the lobbies drafting. Next up, Richard Barrett 928-0. Congratulations as a reminder when the show is over. Drop your underdog username and the sport you would like to draft. And we will get you hooked up. Look at LD rolling in right as we started this idle hands here 86. Congratulations two more two more and we'll catch five more at the end of the show. Next up we have bump on a bump clay. Let's go. Congratulations one more here for this first batch. Who's it going to be? Chris, but not that one. A different Christie 8215. Congratulations. We'll do another one of these later in the show. All right, you guys want to draft a team or two here? I love nothing more. All right, let's do it. We're going to let you drive the first one though. I mean, we're not dry, but make these picks for the first one since, you know, you got to get a scratch that is for you. Yeah, last week, you know, I was on the Jaden stuff which dislocated our lineups and his arm. So we'll see if we can we can do better here. No, I am stint on the tail for him, which, okay, man, I guess. That might be the only thing that saves my season long bags right now. Not bad, huh? Well, both my two high seven quarterbacks for the Jaden and him and and don't it, rather, it's not cheese. Whoa, it's brutal. So we got the one six here. What are we in the large field BR? Yes, sir, 50 dimes up top. Will you click that tournament card, the eye for me there? Because what was the other thing? What's what's the right gap for this one? Five five seven percent. You're not going to find anything better than that. No, we're on Earth. That is so sick. That is so sick. Yeah, this last week, this filled Saturday, curious to see how the fill rates go because they just like pick up exponentially. So just like, keep a close eye on it right now. My model would probably put this at Sunday morning, but, man, Saturday really, really goes parabolic. So if you're trying to max this, I probably wouldn't, you know, walk to the draft button. I'd be piling it because I think it's going to get kind of out of hand here soon. Yeah, tonight's going to be the night. Nessie, are you going to run one for the people tonight? I think I will be able to. Right on. I will commit once I confirm. But I think I should be able to a little bit of. Yeah, I mean, Jason never falls. So then, how many JSN Allen teams are there going to be? Basically none on. Yeah, do it. Yeah. Figure it out. Figure it out. JSM challenge to start when Gibbs, Kenneth Walker, Omnero Henry CMC. So what? It was Omnero and Henry were the big jumpers relative to ADP. Yeah, Jack, Jack was on that Henry using the show on Tuesday there. And he's on that Henry over CMC this week narrative. JP's got money to burn after winning the Dinger. He's just, he's just out here taking Ken Walker with no regard. Incredible. Yeah, shout out to him. Yeah, wow, Lam, Lam over Chase too. Yeah, it's just, I'm going to have so much to March Ace. Yeah, I just feel very strongly and that Steelers have no answer for him. They're a joy. Yeah, I guess the only bad thing you can say is that game might be a slow. That's only like kind of like bad thing you can say. Everything else is like wheels up. Yeah, for sure, for sure. All right, let's see what we have going here. McBride. I mean, man, that's a fun start for Shmo there with Omnero Chase and McBride. I would like it. That's big nice. Take a peek here, Jefferson and go easy cards here. You got that, um, Kincaid stack. I don't mind the Kincaid stack again with the thought of Alan Kincaid and JSN is going to be extremely unique there. Yeah. I don't mind the buying low on pick ins and then going like double scroll RB or something. I like it. Yeah. Great. Yeah. It's a great game environment. Yeah. Yeah, nobody concerned about the field and the footing or anything like that. I remember the last time we had a game in Brazil and it went scorched earth. It was that game that we were watching. Actually, a manual shout out of Daniel Wilson, almost house one in that one. That was the one we were watching in the pool in Vegas there, Pete. That's the last time there was a Brazil outdoor Rio game. Oh, yeah. Well, you'd have had a take on it where the stuff he was seeing about it being slippery of being like that can actually, you know, help the offense because the defense with the backpedaling and coverage and stuff, more more mistakes there. So it can work in both directions as far as hurting things there. Yeah. So we have a good piece. Sorry. I don't know. Just recap. We got JSN, Alan, Kincaid. We add pick ins here. What we're going to say. Yeah. So the underdog NFL account tweeted an NFL PA quote about the field and I'm just going to read it instead of summarizing it. But the concern heading into this week was that the field will be loose patchy and lead to excessive slipping. The conditions are generally more of a play playability and performance issue than a significant injury concern. Based on our expert's assessment, the field needed better traction and stability. They recommended reinforced stitching to help the surface held hold together and brought an equipment to reinforce of much of the field as possible before the game. So they made happy worse than soldier field, bro. Right. There's no way. All right. We're going to do the double scroll running back thing here because we're not capitulating through three wide receiver and we can speak freely because GoAZeCards has running backs. I leave it up to you guys. I mean, I like Chuba. I like Hall. I don't mind Hampton. If we were getting into this game environment, Bucky, you can narrow it from there. I like Breeze Hall. Like his ability to earn points in a variety of ways and what should be a high scoring game against a bad defense. Bucky's an interesting one because I am pretty worried about this Vikings defense. But Bucky has such an insane role from a receiving standpoint as well as having goal line work that I think Bucky's like a really fun deep scroll here. Let's do it. I mean, both, yeah, I like Bucky. I mean, these were the two guys, you know, I was talking about them with cups yesterday. Like their utilization is elite. Both can get rip off big plays and I do think it could be a little bit of a sneaky bounce back spot for the box here at home. So I think this is a really fun double scroll line up here. I guess Breeze, what's his ADP 29.4? He's the nice thing you can say about Breeze on this roster is the vast majority of Breeze teams have a lion paired with them. And I don't know if that's good and or bad, but like I think that's also like just carrying his ADP a little bit. Yeah. He's just tethered to lions so frequently. To be honest, I don't think I've drafted Breeze without a lion myself. So I'm part of the problem we're all looking for the guy. Some fancy plays out here though. Like the Javonte Chuba double scroll is nice. Chuba's getting big time steam though. He's almost going every draft now because he's everyone's worst cup secret. It's funny. It feels like he's getting double counted and I will not say Jonathan's Stewart. I will say Jonathan Brooks this time. It feels like he's getting up like Jonathan Brooks. I really have to pause. Like wasn't even playing last week. It was like AJ Dylan too. Like nothing has really changed for Chuba.
like this was chew as backfield. It's still chew as backfield. It's just whoever was like giving him breather touches like the Jonathan stuff was like late season risk, whatever. So I don't know. I still like juba. I think he's a good play. But if he's getting steamed up, it's because things are getting double counted. Yeah, I think it's also that people are warming up to the fact that offense might be good like myself included. But I mean, I'm old enough to remember when the Saints went new for two weeks and then did shit for the rest of the year. So who knows? Maybe they were just too soft ass matchups for Caroline in the first two weeks. That is that is that's a good a good comp because if there is a team that does that this year, it's definitely the Panthers. All right, let's see here. You guys want to do one more draft or we could just get right to rip in some some pickups here. Let's get let's get let's say you scratched the itch here on one more draft, but you choose what you want to draft. No, I mean, you can choose. I'll draft. Oh, you don't get to draft anymore. I'm the surrogate drafter here. Well, it's what a it's whatever thing I'm burning at what how about this? What is a contest that you wouldn't you wouldn't get to or you wouldn't max otherwise? I would not draft a wildcat. I would not draft a hurry up. I would not draft a double reverse and outside of that, I'll draft everything else. Let's do let's do a smaller field one. Let's do a full back down or debon. Yeah, there you go. There we go. Nice. Are you going to do this single entry? Cubie sneak? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Okay. That's when you got to keep an eye on because I think that's only what like 48 entrants. Yeah. So you definitely don't want to miss the boat on that. We got the worst possible slot because now we get to draft the guy we just got at one six at one two. To be honest, I've been taking the running backs over on this week. So yeah, all right, let's do it. We'll mix it up. Yeah, I'm only just like today started to take chase and I literally had zero and I was like, Oh, my God, I can't have zero, JS. And this could be this could be tragic. He's he's unbelievable. He's unbelievable. He's so good. Yeah. So what have you been to John, did you say you've been going Ken Walker to or CMC or mixing it mixing it, but usually Ken Walker, yep. You know, Ken Walker rolls just like to insane to ignore right now. Let's just talk. I guess we just fully. Yeah, when the risk is that they, you know, have like two pick sixes and then play Emma Johnson the entire second half. That's a pretty good spot to be in. Yeah. Yeah. I'm trying to think you brought it up with J.M. there. I'm trying to think what the other one last year was with the backup running Mac thesis. Did he end up saying I was trying to remember there was one that he had done before where it was, it was some team with a good running back that was blowing teams out. And you could play the RB two. It was just Cora. Yeah, maybe it's like it might have been. I thought I was even like a cheaper RB two. It was like a beijon Algier thing, but I don't think the Falcons were blowing anybody out. No, I don't think so. Yeah, whatever. I can't remember. I just know there was one backfield where he was always like there was. You know what it might have been? It might have just been RB twos against the Panthers defense. I think that's what it was. Remember when the Panthers defense was just getting gashed by everybody. And so I think he was just playing whatever RB two played them. That's what it was and why I had like a bunch of names because it would be like the pan or the Falcons would play. I'm going to be like play Algier because he's going to get so much burn. Yeah, there we go. There's a there's a long list of injury-related news that we've gotten in the last hour. Nothing like crazy, crazy, but Collar and the Joku are officially out. Well, one of them is on IR, but like that was official. Oh, and as Puka's working out, Puka's running sprints. He's doubtful. Yeah. Yeah. They said he's doubt. Yeah. Warren's questionable. Rico's out. Man's where I mean. Yeah, Jefferson or Mcbrough. Oh, cook fell. Oh, too, cook. I didn't even see him. He didn't scroll up. I think cook is a smash this week. John never scrolls up, man. He's he was hiding that smash pick from you outside and all the good plays, bro. Classic. Yeah. I was saying he's cooking on the smash spot. I was going to I was going to be torn between Jefferson and McBride. I do think, wow, we get either of them again here. I mean, McBride and the small field stuff is such an advantage, but I also think getting your alpha wide receiver and Jefferson's pretty good. Yeah, I think it depends what we want to do with the rest of the roster. I think this would set up really nicely because Nez was in on the pretty stuff to do like a pretty Mike Evans, like and play it off McBride. Yeah, good shot. And then we get like, you know, I like to stack more in the small field stuff, only 1100 entries plus like Mike Evans going to come in less than like 20% in this contest. And he's warming up right now, allegedly. Yeah. Yeah, it's going to be fine. Like they just, you know, he's been banged up for a hot minute. They definitely are going to take it easy on their veteran. This all seems like trending like he's going to not have an entry designation by like tonight. Yeah. Yeah. What the hell does this even mean? Kubiac says Raiders won't work out Brock Baller's in parentheses. Knee pregame like they did last week. What does that even mean? Like he didn't work out before he didn't play last week. So they're not going to do that this week. So maybe he'll play like what? They are just like the, it's like they are purposefully saying words in a sequence that is just like trying to anger us as much as possible. Like, speak English. What do you expect rocks off at home? The fuck are you talking about? The neighbors Q tag has gone 80 Mitchell has a Q tag with that finger, but we knew about the finger hamstring Q tag still for say flowers and Puka running routes. Got it. That's the break now. I got a Puka eliminator team against Chad Mashky that I'm really hoping can advance, but it's like my really good running backs against his really bad running backs and his really good wide receiver was against my really, really bad wide receiver room. So we'll see. We'll see what happens. But if I can get that Puka team through, I'll be so happy because they're going to be like a dozen left after this week. I say we take Purdy first just because he's hiring ADP. Yeah. Yeah. And then execute the plan. Yeah. And I mean, even if this guy was like tried to get cute with it and took Mike Evans, you could just go ahead and take Debo after to make it make sense. I don't think there's any reason to take any of these wide receivers before Mike Evans. So I think we just take Mike Evans and then we discuss the next one after. Yeah. Yeah. Like if we were, there was somebody here that we really wanted, but not that the thesis is getting Mike Evans paired with Purdy and yeah, not caring who we get left with. Yeah. Absolutely agree. And so Kelly, no wide receivers coming off the board either. I guess I don't understand me. Sorry. Sorry. Be good. Oh, no. Yeah. Lad lad was going to go. But yeah, Ken Walker, James Cook, McBride, Purdy, I guess the fun question for this team is, would you take this 2v2? No. So Kittle was there, smaller field. Would you rather have Jefferson instead of McBride? Then you go Purdy Kittle here and then you get Evan. So you play the premium Purdy double stack and you flip McBride to Jefferson instead. Yes, I think now in hindsight. Yeah, probably. I don't know. I mean, and then we could scroll the Michael Wilson to make it all feel alive inside. Uh-huh. Yeah, I think I probably would take the, the, the Jedi side of that, of that 2v2. But McBride is, like you said, in the small field, it's just like so nice to just get this floor of McBride. And yeah, he's, he's unbelievable. Um, who do you guys want for White receiver 2 on this one? Uh, Teteroya Waymo. We could still do Nez's Waymo scroll. Uh, Jalen Coker with the nicest role on Planet Earth. Neighbors is good at football. Maybe, um, Denzel. What if you play, uh, if you, if you, if you want Wilson, you can. No, no, we already got it. It's game moment. I also think you do like the T Higgins thing and say if it's not the chase explosion, you play the, uh, the one-off T thing there. Break the tie, Nezi. Let's go Waymo, baby. Come on. Waymo month. It's waymo month. Waymo month. What's been the waymo year? Dude, so you get a waymo? Well, not really actually. I got this waymo going to me. I'm not sure the standing desk is for me. I feel like like the hockey guy lining up at the blue line listening to the anthem the whole time. And I just sway like this, like all. Yeah, I page it. That's so fidgety for the standup desk. It's a benefit. That's good. Um, there we go, guys. Purdy Ken Walker, James Cook,
Mike Evans with the Q tag who's seen in uniform right now, Waymo for the game environment, and it's his month and then Trey McGrunk, aka Trey McDust, right? Some games, some gams and ballers on that team. Yeah, right. Yeah, um, Pete, you want to roll the clip? Is it time? Yeah, it is time. It's time to spice it up. Pick on spicy marr, spicy marr, radio active spice, let's spice it up, swap it up, flop it up, I'm a slime. This permission to slide your honor. New, new, new, flavor. That's a 65X. That makes me feel all right here. We go time to feel things. Man, I refreshed my memory last week. We were real close on one, weren't we? We were really close on like three of them. We were three for four on one. We were four for five on one. And then we were two for three on the core. But, uh, yeah, last night we got it all back. There's huge Thursday night football for the community and your boy too. Honestly, I had a really nice Thursday night football as well. We got one yesterday to make the feel goods. But let's run back this core and get one for the people this week. Yeah. So I'm going to do one that that Reeves called out and I do really like it. And it's Emmett Johnson rushing yards. Uh, I think I had it at 23 and a half. Um, we're getting right into the core here. Um, what do you think that? So it's 26 and a half now. You guys still play over it's playable. But again, like if the whole thesis is they just blow the doors off of it. Like this isn't, you know, Emmett Johnson already has a role. Like he can, he can get this in the first half to in addition to salting the game away in the second half. So let's, uh, I'm going to tail Reeves on this for the core. I like it, man. Reeves did as well the other day too. Because I had the quorum take and then someone said that they made a, you would made a short video about quorum and it was Reeves. So what we're trusting Reeves through and through here always, always, always, uh, the one that I really liked and I alluded to it earlier in the program was, uh, you know, Brian Flores likes to blitz the fuck out of everybody and Bucky Irving has one of the best roles in football right now. And I don't think the past catching and route running is caught up. This Bucky Irving has receptions, man, I've been pounding this thing. So, uh, as long as it's going to be up there, that two and a half is, is my core play of the day. Josh mentioned it in the chat is well, uh, here we go. Here we go. Um, what do you like, Nez? Yeah, uh, just tying a bow on the Bengals over Steelers, uh, play here. Joe burrow for two passing touchdowns. I was like shocked when I looked at this. A day that I love today, it's, it's, it's plus one X like I just like didn't quite get why that was. So I didn't ask questions and I played it and I'm going to play it again. I'm locking in that core so effing fast, so Numi can't pull a fast one on the back end. Boys, this is, this, I feel so confident about this for some reason. I love it. That was a good rep from all parties. Yep. And I've actually had some stuff fixed on my mobile stuff. So I'm actually able to do all three of those together here as well. Nice. Um, it is in the private chat for you and that can be shared with, uh, everybody else. Okay. All right. This is the core here for our audio listeners, Emmett Johnson, higher rushing yards, Bucky Irving, higher receptions and Joe Burrow, higher, uh, one and a half TDs there. Link is in the chat. I will include this. I've been posting them. It'll be in the description in the comments and I post them in the discord in the Badgebrows channel after. So there is our core, um, let's bounce around here and get some other ones in. Where do you guys want to head? Can I, uh, propose a game environment that nobody on planet earth is excited about other than me. Apparently, I like this Jacksonville, Saxonville versus, uh, Patriots game a little bit. And I think like doing the Drake May scoring on the ground and then doing like, you know, Tutan and Parker Washington on the other side is like pretty fun way to get into it. Yeah, let's do it. Yeah, so you, you're really into, to the Parker Washington stuff. Um, yeah, I think it, I think it makes a lot of sense. Uh, just like thinking about the matchup more, uh, about him, like, probably not seeing it. Son of Christian Gonzalez, uh, makes a lot of sense there. He's just been so good. Um, but we're starting with, uh, Drake May. Yeah, I was just kind of, I was looking around at everything, but yeah, I'm just kind of, messing around here. Well, if you're going to, if you're going to get into this game, you got to get, you know, Brian Thomas, Jr. Part of the by Leoni model this week. I mean, if this game is popping off, Brian Thomas, Jr. is finally hitting on a, on a big play here. Okay. Yeah. We could, uh, what's his like, either what, what is his receiving yards line at 36 and a half? That's man. Yeah, let's find that up the light slide that up to like 59 or something. 59 gets us a 2.65. Yeah, I'm good with that. So that's kind of, oh, before I do this, I got to do the refresh. So we don't get that move the chains thing again. That's good work. I've learned my, I've learned my lesson. All right. Okay, we got Brian Thomas, scrolled up to the 59 and a half there. Um, I like, I like the Hendo stuff, and I like the Drake May stuff. And I like the Parker Washington stuff and I like the Tutan stuff. Where do you want to go? I would say longest rush for Trevion Henderson. Cool. And just go 12 and a half higher. Yeah, I would just play it, play like that. We'll take, uh, we'll take a one X or on this one. And then we can, we can scroll elsewhere. That feels like a good way to play it. And then I think I kind of like this. If you get up to this five and a half catches or even six and a half for Parker Washington, you can scroll it to like a two and a bit X or. Do you like just playing the, I mean, I'm getting greedy, Nez, but the higher straight up for Hendo, or do you want to slide him? Cause I feel like he's been so binary. It's like he's either getting stuff for three yards or he's ripping off a 40. And you're not wrong. Um, good job. I got a plan. Let's run this as a three. And then we'll double scroll Hendo and Brian Thomas longest reception. You go. Okay. So we'll play it twice. So this is 14 X for just those three. Okay. And that's Brian Thomas higher on the receiving yards 59 and a half slid. 12 and a half on the longest rush and five and a half on the Parker Washington. There's nothing too crazy there. Drop that in the private chat for you guys. And then what did that pay out? I'm just trying to see what I can get 14 or 10. Yeah, it's 10.73 X on the base, but John boosted it. Yeah, we got these move the chains boosts. Okay. And let me get that that is in the chat. I am pasting it there. So we'll call this New England Jacks one. Yeah. So if you get like Hendo to have like a 25 yard run, like we didn't even have to get that greedy. We could like go a 20 yard run and you get this 357. And then you go with like Brian Thomas. I want to get greedy. I just want to have yeah, okay. 24 and a half on on Brian Thomas or higher. Oh, I'm Brian Thomas. Oh, for this is longest reception. Yeah, do it at like 29 and a half is fine. Okay. So he gets one 30 yard play and then Hendo, you want greater than, sorry, let me, sorry. I just want to reframe. I was talking about getting greedy on Hendo. I'm less willing to be super greedy on Brian Thomas, right. Okay, cool. So we will do a longest rush 12 and a half. We get this up to 29 and a half and it's 8.6 X. That's 22 X for those two long play is going back and forth. Sure. That's fun. Keep it simple. Yeah. Oh, I need three picks for the move. The chance will save it. Okay. What did that pay out for you? 25 X, like that, 22 X with without the boost. Yeah. Okay, that one's in the private chat. Communities. Okay, that is in the chat. We're going to call that New England Jacksonville 2. How about we take a quick pause regroup here to spin again? If you didn't win the first time, you want to add in hashtag draftly real quick. Go ahead and do that. John, remind people what to do if one of their names pops up here over the next five drawings. Yes, if you see your name on the screen, you are a big time winner. And you will drop your underdog user name in the comments below this video once the video is done.
and published, and then you will drop the sport in which you want to draft beside it, not NFL. It has to be WMBA for the playoffs. It has to be MLB for the playoffs, or it has to be best putt classic for the season-long hockey. So MLB, NHL, or WMBA. Congrats. J Grimes 21, you are our sixth winner. We are going to have 10 here today, and if I know new me, you guys need to tune into the Badges Bros because I have a feeling more of these are coming. Go AZ cards. Yes. I think I recognize that name. Sounds familiar. Maybe I feel like I've seen him in the chat before. He wins our seventh. No bow, sorry, look at this, friends and family. There's probably a winner there, congratulations, sir. Two more. Two more good luck to everyone hanging out in the chat for off and on the clock. A lot of good names being passed up here. G.A. Look at this. Look at this. Friends and family. Oh my goodness. Listen guys, if you want, I guess if you want your shot at winning these things, be a member for like 10 years, and then maybe you can see your name on the screen. There you go. Our final one we're going to do today, Flusty Duster. Flusty Duster. Flusty Duster. Congratulations. All right. Those are our winners. Congratulations. And let's head back over to the pick-up screen here. We got time for a couple more. I'm trying to think, let's do a premium one here. I know it's a little hard with the Z stuff up in the air, but I do think something from Baltimore Dallas, that little 4pm late window hammer. It sounds fun. Sure. What about, what if we do, like, just get a, I mean, maybe it's too much. What's the Javante TD stuff? I was like, Javante 2 TDs, like playing that angle. It's 4.6 X. Is that two out over our skis? I like it. I think it's fine if you want to play the Baltimore side of things. Yeah. And that's just your anchor. It's either him or Pickens is kind of the other by low guy. Like what kind of odds are we get it? Like what's a Pickens? I mean, he's like a good just receiving slide up to like 100, probably. Like if he nukes, he's nuking. Yeah, like 100 yards for Pickens is the same as two Javante touchdowns. Yeah. I like the Pickens in that. I like the Pickens. Yeah, me too. But that's, hey, you know what? That's really good perspective for people in the lobbies, because Javante is not getting drafted and Pickens gets drafted at a 100% frequency. And 100 yards and two touchdowns have the exact same likelihood according to the Pickens lobby. It's like, yeah, I know what side of the equation I want to be on from an ownership standpoint. Right. Yep. Yeah. But I assume no Z stuff right now, what do you have at just touchdowns? Yeah, just touchdowns. They're keeping it close to their best. Yeah, it's a bunch of yeah, really, really thin stuff. What else would you guys like in this in this spot? It is. This is a tough game to play just because of the Z, the Z one, not a lie. Go ahead. No, I was just, I was going to say maybe slide Lamar rushing yards, but I was saying Dwayne was actually talking about how he's, he thinks he, uh, he likes the lower on that. Um, yeah, it's, it's an interesting dynamic there with Declan Doyle and whatnot. What I was going to just say is that we just kind of like hop around our favorite game environments and just like pick some scroll so we can still do, yeah, pick and sign nine and a half and then maybe let's like head over to Detroit. And let's look at Garrett Wilson stuff. I like that. That was another one Rebes was all over, uh, yesterday, I mean, I think like just sliding receptions for Wilson or if you have targets, um, both those, I'm so good. So look, John, check out like targets, okay? So, um, I'm on, I'm not on multipliers. I'm on, I'm on percentages, basically what I wanted to compare are some of these slides to his fantasy point slides because 18.65 fantasy points for Garrett Wilson. I think has like a pretty hefty payout and that's like a hundred yards and a touchdown. Okay. So that's 4.66X. The equivalent of that from a yardage standpoint would be 110 yards. The equivalent from a target standpoint would probably be like 12 and a half. Yeah. 12 and a half, um, but then you get the outs of touchdown scoring and stuff for the fantasy point. I have an idea. If you guys want to entertain me, let me hear. We do Wilson 9 and a half with a touchdown and then we had a touchdown to George Pickens and we play those for like 40 X. I like it. Do you like yards more than receptions for Wilson? Yeah, just because, um, I'm just like a fan of the Wilson efficiency and I just, I, I, I think that's just like a better play in my opinion. I think they're, we're both kind of getting at the same thing. Yeah. So both of them go for a hundred yards and they both find paid or not crazy at all gives us a 40 X. Yeah. 25 for 1k. That's like right on my alley. Okay. Let me get these touchdowns in here. I just boosted her a bit, moving the chains, baby 25 for 15 on her. All right, yeah, drop that in the chat here. I like it. So this is Garrett Wilson higher than 99 and a half pickens higher than 99 and a half in both of them scoring a touchdown there. You have it at 40 to 1. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Yeah, that's fun. Yeah. Dude, Lion's secondary low key dead to high key dead, high key dead, not a secret. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I really, I'm upset that 80 Mitchell's looking like he's about to steal second base out in practice bro because like I was loving the G no doubles, but he's got the oven mitt. Yeah. I know. I know. That's been such a buzzkill today. Let me look at one more thing here. I'm trying to think another fun spot we could get into here. We didn't really do anything with Buffalo and the chargers that I think could be interesting. Like if there's something we will, my guess is like like what if we did again, playing the cook angle because he's a little undervalued, I would say in the market and then like either lad or QJ opposite him. Yeah, man, I wish there was a way to like quantify where cook scores from. Because it's like, it's not the goal line. Like it's like he scores from like 30 yards out. Like we could get like a way to do like longest rush coupled with touchdown, you know, because that just like, that's his bag, but it doesn't work like that on app that under exports.com. You can play both longest rush and the touchdown. Right. Yeah. It just, it doesn't correlate in the capacity that you want it to like it. The way in which you, it's quantified differently. That's what I mean. So it's like, you're not actually encapsulating like the truth of what I'm trying to execute. But I'm trying to execute as a 25 year touchdown. And that's like way better than the longest rush and a touchdown. That's the next best thing. Yeah. Yeah, I basically just would want to play like a new game from him. I don't know if that's even like sliding scrimmage yards up to like 130 or 140, which is like, I think Bijon's line heading into last night was like 130, 140 where it's just like, you're getting just a massive usage game from him. That looks like a pretty good multiplier to me. Yeah. That's fun. I'm not mad. Yeah. You could get that in the first half, man. It's just like the way James Cook operates. That's a crazy fucking thought. Dude. Yeah. Like, don't, like, I would not be shocking off its like it's halftime and James Cook has 10 rushes for 90 yards because the charges are asked like, it doesn't seem that far fetched at all. It's just like, yeah, we're going to look at the box score. It's like, it's 21 to 6 and half diamond and he's got 90 yards. And then I would say like either something with lad receptions or QJ, like longest reception or you guys know I'm all over this lad role, man. As long as he plays more than 49% of snaps, like, I love it. What's a better, like, premium taking lad to like eight or nine receptions or taking him to 100 yards? If you go to like seven and a half or six. Exceptions at 6/11, if you go to 100 yards, it's 6/3. I think the catch is probably better. Yeah, he's just such a focal point. Yeah. Like the target for outrun stuff is beyond elite, if he can just stay on the field. So if I'm seeing it, I can get like cook 130 bad 8 receptions around a 20X, is that about what you have? If we get him up to what did we say 7 1/2? 7 1/2, what do you have? Yeah, that's a 28X right there. Yeah, nice. That's good. Yep. You know, there's a sneaky-- like, it's unnecessary to tack on. But like, there's a sneaky little tack on Gadsden here, too. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I'll wait. Yeah, let's see. I'll put that one in the chat as we rip. And then make it a 3 1. If I put Gadsden in here, and just-- we don't even have to scroll him. Just be like, yo, he gets these 35. Takes us to 52 plus the move the chains. Now we're at 77, 25 for 2K. There you go. What the hell? Short. Like, that moves the needle. Damn, right, buddy. Now things are happening. Jawball, though. All right. All right. I'm glad, one. Did you drop me this one? Not yet, because I was seeing, oh, fuck. I'm out of move in the chains. Yeah, you moved them enough, bro. Too many first bounds. So what did you-- So it was the chain so far that it's the goalpost now. It's the same one of the goalposts. He tacked on Aronde Gadsden 35 and a half receiving yards to it. OK. Yeah. Here, I'll find you a link in one second. I just can't do it on the screen right now, because I did the-- I have one more fun one to do. OK, and I know Naz will be on board. So similar to what we did before, we do something like-- whatever 100 scrimmage yards in a touchdown for breeze, 100 receiving yards in a touchdown for JMo. Yes. OK. I knew you'd be on board for that. Yeah, I mean, that was abuse. That was bait. And that was my hook line at sinker. I haven't done any JMo pick 'em, yet, because I'm just waiting for my best ball advanced rates to look better if JMo has a nice game here. But this is a fun way to double down. Yeah. All right, ball is life. You guys want to scroll the F down for Candre Lambert Smith, relax, relax. Oh, Brennan Thompson, as we are. The day of a show was two hours ago, dude. All right, so 100, 100, and a touchdown in a touchdown. Yeah. What do we get on that? 25 gets you through your hand. Fat. Wait, and just make-- oh, did you do-- I was going to see if it was scrimmage yards as opposed to rush yards, but that works. Right, OK. I think if you go to your screen right now, you'll have a window to cancel it. At least she used to be able to do that. Not anymore. That's not all my father-fine. Oh, that's our final now. That was serious. [LAUGHTER] Don't ask me how I am so certain of that, but-- If I speak, if I speak, I just wanted the receiving out for Breeze. Yeah. Oh, yes. No, you're 20 and 1/2, like we did with James Cook. It feels good. Yeah, you're right about that. That's so funny. There we go. And then JMO. What does that come to for you? What did you get at, John? You did 109. 109, rushing and receiving. 99 1/2, JMO, a touchdown, touchdown. That gets us 1,000 for 25, basically. Yeah, that'll play. Yeah. That'll play. Yeah. OK. Yeah, that's one like two days ago. OK, let's see here. We just said that in the chat. Joey just said that in the chat. Let's see. Maybe it's a mobile thing. They don't let me. They're like, yeah, we got them. They have several rules for Nez. My cash out has been suspended on it. I can cash it out for $23.50. So I can eat $1.50 charge for caching it out. Wow. Wow, worth it. You think you think I'm going to let them off the hook like that? You think I'm going to let them off the hook for $1.50? They think they can buy me back for $1.50? I'm taking them for $2,200 now. We're doing it the old fashioned way with the rushing yards, bitch. Let's get it. All right, there it is. OK, we got a full card for you guys here. Like I said, make sure you guys are subscribed to the Badge Bros. So you can catch them breaking down all the sports prime time poluses for those smaller slates, all of that goodness. Anything else you guys want to mention here for your programming? No, just stay tuned for a no strip stream tonight. It'll probably be kind of late. Yeah, fingers crossed. If we get no strip tonight, definitive preview was on Tuesday. It was just myself. And that's going to make it. So there's probably some stuff to draft alongside there behind the paywall. Also, if you guys are in the Hoops streets, Hoops is ramping up here preseason action comes next week. We did one double, double, double, double dip. Let's call it on Wednesday with Mike Sekarian there. And then I did the ETR paywall show with Dink and Mike Algar, there. So if you guys are interested in Hoops, that's there. And then if you're interested in Best Buck Classic, or you were a winner of the Best Buck Classic stuff, there's a link down below here to Matt Moody. Podcast Summary
Key Points:
The DFS slate for Week 3 features high total games, with the Chargers vs. Bills and 49ers vs. Cardinals standing out due to offensive firepower and game dynamics.
Josh Allen is a top-tier quarterback play despite his high price tag, with strong value when stacked with low-ownership teammates like James Cook, due to the Bills’ balanced offense and favorable game environment.
Lamar Jackson and Zay Flowers’ absence significantly alters the Dallas–Ravens game, making it less attractive due to concerns over defensive consistency and offensive execution.
Running backs like Kenneth Walker and Jalen Gibbs are top-tier at high prices, with Walker facing workload limitations and Gibbs showing strong home-game performance.
Wide receivers such as J.J. Starks and Kirk Cousins are considered high-upside plays due to elite production potential, though matchups and role clarity matter.
Sub-5K wide receivers like Denzel Boston and Rashad Bateman offer value, especially in matchups with weak defenses or aggressive offenses.
Team total dynamics are critical—games like Arizona vs. San Francisco have more shootout potential than Dallas–Ravens, which lack strong offensive threats or favorable matchups.
Stack efficiency and quarterback partner synergy (e.g., Herbert + Lad) are prioritized over individual player value, with math and correlation shaping optimal lineup decisions.
Summary:
FAQs
Purdy and Gough are highlighted as strong options. Purdy has a strong stack potential with Kittle, while Gough benefits from playing at home. Josh Allen is also considered, especially in a game against the Chargers, due to the Bills' offensive strategy and the Chargers' weak projection.
Yes, especially in the Bills vs. Chargers game. Despite the high price tag, Allen is seen as a strong play due to the Bills' offensive strategy shifting to the run game and James Cook, which could create more opportunities for scoring. The Chargers' poor ownership projections also make this a favorable matchup.
Parker Washington is considered underpriced for his role and talent. While the Patriots have a strong defensive scheme, his usage in the slot and the offensive dynamics make him a sharp value play, though not a must-have due to defensive concerns.
Jamaal Williams and Kenneth Walker are top contenders. Walker is in strong consideration due to his role in the 49ers' offense, though workload concerns exist. Gibbs at home is also a top play with consistent performance and high ownership projections.
Weather has minimal impact on game outcomes in early-season matchups. While rainy conditions can affect field conditions, the influence is often overstated. Decisions are typically based on game dynamics, not weather, and are reassessed closer to game time.
Debo Williams is considered a potential play in the Arizona vs. San Francisco game, with around 20 pass targets expected. However, his role and performance are not as clearly defined as other plays, and he is not a top-tier value pick in this matchup.
